It is a war between the medieval pony kingdoms of Eoland and Chevale that has lasted 1000 years without end. A war Princess Twilight of Equestria will find to be the hardest test she will have attempted to try and stop.
This story is based off the video game Medieval Total War 2 the made up kingdoms of Eoland and Chavale are based off of the games factions of medieval England, France, and other euopean nations in Medieval Total War 2.
Twilight Sparkle and Starlight Glimmer messing, changing, and altering the timelines caused a new land mass across the ocean to be formed, a new history to be written, and thus a question that was asked by an unknown person to become reality. What would the world be like if kingdoms of ponies did rule themselves and had no inference from the tree of harmony to be at peace, no monster and non pony races to force unite them. And thus was the Old World made from the meddling of time travel.
The medieval pony kingdoms of Eoland and Chevale more then 1000 years ago to the Northeast across the ocean on another mainland and large Island (Shaped like Terra's England and France) were once united. Untold thousands of pony Migrants choose to flee from Equestria to escape the Windgos and thus sailed across the ocean and came to the lands of the Old World, a landmass of vast resources, warm climes, and new conquests.
But unlike the three pony tribes of Unicorns, Pegasuses, and Earth ponies whom united together and resettle their differences in part because the windgos threaten to freeze them in eternal winter. The Unicorns, Pegasuses, and Earth ponies of Eoland and Chevale had no such thing. No powerful villains to force them to stay as allies or friends, the two kingdoms while united were culturally different. And thus the longest bloodiest war in history swept the Old World for more then 1000 years.
In Equestria (Sometime after the last episode of mlp and season came to its end.) rumors and reports from Starswirl the Bearded reaches Princess Twilight Sparkles of the two far off pony Kingdoms of the Old World. Twilight Sparkle will then want to learn and read the history of these old kingdoms but will find nothing in any of the library's of any book about Eoland or Chavale or their history.
This is a tale not to bash the lessons taught in Equestria but to tell a tale of the two pony kingdoms of Eoland and Chavale, and how the two pony kingdoms are to use to their ways of living and wars to want peace. And to show how their are ponies more willing to wage war on one another over having peace. And that the lessons taught by the Princess's of Equestria, by the Tree of Harmony mean nothing to the Old World pony kingdoms when readying for war, fighting in war, and supporting the war is all they have ever known. Meddling with time travel created the Old World kingdoms thus Starlight Glimmer, and Twilight Sparkles both will come to realize they are the reason the pony kingdoms of the Old World even exist.
The ponies of Eoland and Chavale have fought a war for more 1000 years without end. For this is a time not of peace but total war.

Location: Church library. A earth pony monk opens a book and begins to write in it with a quill.
" More then 1000 years ago wIth the Eolish, and Chavalee conquest of the emerald Isles, and great vast fields on the mainland, ushered in a new era of peace for the Old World Kingdoms. An era where ponykind found itself safe from the evils across the sea from which our ancestors fled.
"The King of Eoland and the Queen of Chavale married to formerly unite the two kingdoms, and build on the lands they had conquered their nobles, lords, dukes, and commanding officers constructed large stone castles and walled cities, created vast farm lands to produce food in large quantities, built paved stone roads to connect their cities and strongholds. Countless large towns and villages dote the lands of the Old World prospering. To rule these lands is indeed a birthright, but to control it requires the skills and wisdom that very few have."
"In lands ruled by only ponies with no monsters or villains to challenge Eoland or Chavale right to rule, their was nothing to stop the two kingdoms from turning on each other."
"Maybe their was a chance for peace. But the new generations of lords and dukes among the Eolish, and the Chavalee could not truly see eye to eye with each other as the cultures of both Eoland and Chavale are different from the other."
"Eoland and Chavale are kingdoms beset by constant warfare. The Telsh, Shrish, and Trottish Vassal pony duchies allies of Chavale press at Eoland within the Emerald Isls for independence and freedom. The Fjorhest pony clans to the far north of Eoland across the northern sea press at Eoland's coasts for plunder, land, and glory. The Kingdom of the Farmanic Traxons ponies to the east of Chavale have allied with Eoland eager to size land from Chavale. The Bitalian pony City States of trade to the south of Chavale play sides with Eoland and Chavale supporting one or the other with troops, money and trade. The pony kingdom states of Quiton, and Stabille allies of Eoland press at the southern borders of Chavale for land, with the kingdom of Garron pressing at Stabille from the east for attacking their ally Chavale. The duchies of Boardgundy, Pettany and Glanders once part of the kingdom of Chavale have been levied as enemies by the lords, and dukes of Chavale have sided with the Eolish promised land and money in exchange for their alliegence to the crown of Eoland now press at Chavale's borders from the west, and the east. And both Eoland and Chavale are seperated by a mere channel of water. "
"All of the pony kingdoms exist in a constant state of endless warfare as even the poor and rich ponies, nobles and peasents, young and old stallions alike are called to take up arms for their Kingdoms. Even young Colts are required by law to know how to fight so when the time comes they may be called up to join the armies of their nation."
"In these times it is up to the leaders and heroes of the Old World to ensure the kingdoms of the Old World do not fall and to ensure victory for the kingdoms no matter the cost." The earth pony monk finishes writing in a book of the histories of the Old World Kingdoms. He closes the book puts it on a shelve with other books.
Location: Grassy fields somewhere in the Old World.
An elder male unicorn shaman carrying a staff walks across the grassy fields. And pauses to see a tan colored male alicorn pony men at arm soldier armed and dressed in chainmail armor, with a metal grey helmet on his head, and grey metal gloves on his hand, and grey metal legging, and grey boots for armor; leaning against a tree. The alicorn soldier eyes are half closed, his head somewhat bowed. In his left hand is a kite shield colored red and yellow, with his right hand on the hilt of his Longsword.
(Thoughts of the shaman) "War. It is old as the Old World itself. As long lasting and ancient as time and death have existed since the beginning of all creation. And has existed since the New World beyond fell to the ways of harmony and peace. It has ever been so."
"The male alicorn soldier suddenly snaps fully awaken to the sound of soldiers marching, and quickly runs over a grassy hill. Ahead of him is a large pony army of men-at-arms, knights, and archers on the march to war, with wooden siege weapons in tow. Male Unicorns, Pegasus's and earth ponies fill this great hosts ranks.
(Unicorn shamans thoughts) "I have forseen both the pony kingdoms of Eoland and Chavale united together as allies ready to make war on the rest of the world, and battle against villains and monsters as our ancestors fortold." A crow lands on the hermits shoulder. "The gods themselves have sent me a messeger to the Old World kingdoms to warn them of the dangers that will soon come to threaten the old world. Old evils and monsterous horrors plot and ready to once more invade the world. It is the destiny of the Old World kingdom's to be either this worlds saviors or its conquerors. Whichever path the Old World pony kingdoms take their armies will stand as shields of civilization against the evils, horrors and villains who have long sought to take this world for themselves.
"A strong leader is needed to first unite the warring kingdoms of the Old World and end the long 1000 years war among the greatest of all pony civilization. The male and female ponies of these lands have been toughen from battling each other, now it is time the pony kingdoms turn their attention to the world abroad."
The unicorn shaman watches from the hills, as the army of the Eolish and ahead of them the army of Chavale march to face each other in battle. (Male unicorn shamans thoughts.) "They must be warned and ready for a greater war is coming."
Meanwhile in Equestria.
Location: Canterlot Castle. An old history book of the Old Worlds pony kingdoms magically appears on a desk in Starswirl's Study room. Starswirl enters his study, and sees the book and recalls that book not being their. A shadow flees the scene Starswirl quickly turns around knowing he heard something. Starswirl senses nopony their or within his room but whatever it was is gone. Starswirl the Breaded carefully brings the book of the old worlds pony kingdoms with his magic to himself to see what this book is about. Star Swirl opens the book and reads some of what appears to be the Old Worlds pony kingdoms military strengths and weaknesses and in detail. And even pictures of the pony soldiers.
Eoland's Strength and weakness: Boosts superb longbowmen, and crossbowmen with greater range then any other kingdom in the Old World. Fields the finest trained, fully armed organized men-at-arms in the world. Armor knights including the noble knights follow military orders and do not charge into battle without a plan. Has the finest experienced leaders, nobles and military commanders in the Old World. Allied with the dukedoms of Boardundy, Petteny, and Blanders. Allied with the kingdoms of Stabille, and Quilton. Allied with half the Bitalian city states trade kingdom. Has support from the kingdom of the Farmanic Traxons thus forming the Dukedoms Kingdoms alliance. The isle of Eoland is a strategic strength for the Eolish and easy to defend from the Fjorhest, and Chavale's invaders. Holds the northern coastline of Chavale from their home origns of the Eolish castle Maen, and part of the west coast of Chavale from Boardeaux. Somewhat smaller population then the kingdoms of Chavale, and the Farmanic Traxons. Somewhat smaller land holdings in the Old World. Eoland's three Vassal kingdoms of Telsh, Shirish and Trottish allied with Chavale forming the Auld Alliance continue to rebel against Eolish rule. Eoland's armies while large are often outnumbered and cannot fight long pitchbattles without good defensive positions. Eoland's is unpopular among their enemies as they raid and steal the lands of their enemies to weaken cities thus many civilians in the cities starve from food being stolen or killed in the countryside for fighting back against the Eolish soldiers. Has access to gunpowder weapons but favors using the traditional yew longbow and older siege weapons of war over matchlocks, musket rifles, and cannons. Yet will use gunpowder weapons if needed.
Chavale's Strength and weakness: Fields the finest armored knights in the Old World Has vast armies of men-at-arms, crossbowmen, and longbowmen in the Old World. Vast land holdings next to the kingdom of the Farmanic Traxons and largest kingdom in the Old World. Largest population in the Old World. Allied with Eoland's vassal dukedoms, Trottish Telsh, Shirish forming the Auld Alliance. Allied with the kingdom of Garron Stabille's rival. Allied with half of the Bitalian city states trade kingdom. With the right planning Chavale's armies can fight long pitchbattles and sieges. Chavale armies adapt to their enemies way of fighting, and with their alliance with Eoland's rebelling Vassal kingdoms gained access to the yew longbows of Eoland. Has access to gunpowder weapons. Chavale's lands holdings are vast, and often hard to defend under incompetent Chavalee leaders, despite having far larger armies then Eoland. The leaders, nobles, lords, and military commanders are experienced but divided over how to defeat the Eolish. The noble knights and armored knights bicker, and fight among themselves and barely fight as a proper united army. Entire groups of noble knights and armored knights will often charge blindy ahead into battle half the time without a proper plan. Costing the armies of Chavale battles against the Eolish. The Eolish stronghold Maen is a stepping stone from Chavale's Capital Cavalcade the jewel of Chavale, and is often under siege from Eolish armies. Boardeaux Chavale's largest trade port city including the northern seaport city of Belais is under Eolish control along with most of the northern, west coast lands. Wrongly accusing their dukedoms of betrayal. Boardundy, Blanders, and,Pettany have allied with Eoland, resulting in the dukedoms alliance.
The Farmanic Traxons: Fields the second largest force of men at arms, knights and crossbowmen. Well trained disciplined troops. Fields mighty siege engines of war. Access to gunpowder weapons. Largest land holding in the Old World. Allies of Eoland. The northern coastlines of the Farmanic Traxons kingdom is often under attack by the Vikings to the north across the sea. Thus the Saxons are having to focus on protecting their lands.
Star Swirl the Bearded then turns to a page that shows what appears to be bright pictures of Equestria with one showing foreign pony soldiers in ponyville seeming to be protecting the civilians from villains of old, monstrous horrors, demons, and undead. The foreign pony soldiers bravery holding their ground against the horrors they face protecting Equestria.
But then suddenly the picture colors become darken, twisted, and magically changes; what Star Swirl the Bearded sees disturbs him greatly. These outsider pony soldiers men-at-arms, knights, and archers are now shown plundering, looting, pillaging, and burning ponyville. With Canterlot in the distance burning. The soldiers are shown killing helpless or armed pony and nonpony civilians with swords, maces, axes, spears, pikes, arrows. Soldiers are shown dragging the mares off and raping them. Equestrians ponies and non ponies are shown being burned at the stake, hung by the neck, beheaded, drawn and quartered, whipped, and put in cages. The royal guard is show to be completely outmatched, outnumbered, and overwhelmed by what appears to be armies of these outsider soldiers beyond the count. Star Swirl can hear war cries from the soldier's, and ponies and non ponies screaming. The soldiers shouting out as they carry off treasure and goods. The fires crackling as buildings burn.
Star Swirl the Bearded can no longer take looking at the grim pictures of people being slaughtered and the screaming So he mentally throws the book against the wall, all the while gasping for breath. What had he just seen the future? Star Swirl then looked down and saw a page of the book showing a map of the Old World landmass. It would seem these Old World Kingdoms and their lands lay across the sea to the northeast. Yet why would their be a book with detail descriptions of ponies in another land be in his study? And when did these ponies go to the Old World.
Perhaps that book has more information, but first Star Swirl should learn all of this with Princesses Twilight Sparkles some of her friends and family, and retired former princess Celestia and Luna. For if what he saw was Equestria under attack. It be best others knew of a war that may be coming.

(Meanwhile in Stirrope.) (Castle Maen home origins of the Eolish ponies)
An anthro male tall tan skin alicorn with a dark brown mane and tail named Tarwin Everchoosen prince of Eoland (he is the alicorn from the prior chapter) is in a war room alone within the castle having just returned from another successful campaign in capturing two Chavalee Castles north of the City of Orleans in central Chavale with a large army of 10000 pony men at arms, knights and their famed long bow men, while his general Alexander took two castles south Of Orleans with a large Pegasus Calvary force of 5000 during the night opening the gates of the castle for the rest of the ground troops of 5000 to size the castles.
Tariwn He had been planning for an attack on Orleans as it's capture would strike a harsh blow against the Chavalee ponies. He had begun readying his armies for an attack on the city and ready more supplies and a strategic plan to surround Orleans with aid from the Borardgundy ponies whom bought another 10000 pony soldiers. Numbering 30000 Tarwin wants to bring another 10000 to the Orleans front so he can fully surround the walls of the great city as it size is big and he wants to make sure their is no escape let alone reinforcements to support the city 20000 military defenders. Tarwin had returned to summon another army he had arrived and sent a scripe to summon the Maen governor so he could send him another 10000 troops. The Eolish ponies have been on the offensive for a while now and have no intention of letting the Chavalee ponies of Chavale recover from their many defeats in this long war. Take Orleans they can crush Chavalee moral and finally take the capital of Chavale Cavalcade.
Suddenly Hastien Tarwin's brother a Unicorn pony shows up in the empty war room while Tarwin was staring at the fire place and the flames cackling. "Hastien?! What are you doing here? Our father and king Pyger would be furious if he learns that's the heir to the throne was without his body guard escort." Tarwin said to his brother.
Unlike Tarwin wearing chain mail armor with a metal helmet and some metal armor. Hastien is wearing full plate armor without the helmet.
"Then we should make sure the king never finds out brother. But I come with news. After your success in capturing the four castles protecting Orleans their is rumors that a female Alicorn peasant girl has been knighted By King Azon in the city of Charlon South of Orleans. My spies have reported this Alicorn peasant girl is going to be leading an army of some 20000 pony soldiers to defend the city of Orleans and even retake your hard earned conquest Tarwin." Hastien said coming to to Tarwin and standing before his taller alicorn brother.
"I heard rumors that it was King Azon who intended to lead the army of Chavale. Yet for his strength he is a coward. He won't fight confront me after I nearly killed him 6 years ago when I was 16, so he knights somepony to take his place, how far the Chavalee Nobility and King have fallen. But who is this alicorn girl that he appointed?" Tarwin asked.
"She is called Mesluine. (Tarwin almost sweats as he knows who she is) which leads to me wonder brother weren't you seeing an alicorn by that name?" Hastien asked.
"Yes." Tarwin said signing.
"Tarwin you this dose not bold well. I know your love life is none of my business. But Mesluine is now leading the Chavalee army. Which means she is on the side of a king who killed two of our Brothers during the siege of Cavalcade. Harrent the oldest brother who showed you how to stand up for yourself. Ablent the 8th our deceased middle aged brother and a fine tactication and one of the smartest of our siblings, Azon would have killed out sister Adrid too in combat, if you had no stopped him Tarwin. And now he if he learns you and that beautiful Mesluine are in love he will either have her killed to enrage you Tarwn, or worse you be forced to fight her brother and soon. And if you fail or refuse to take Orleans their will be questions to how Mesluine drove you and your armies off with ease." Hastien said concerned.
"I'm not gonna lose on purpose Hastien I won't dishonor my name or our family. Besides Mesluine is a peasant girl formerly. I don't doubt she can fight, but save let alone hold Orleans when I just took four of the castles defending the city with two days? And lets not forget after a Wyatt icon siege, I forced thousands of Chavalee soldiers in the four castles to surrender. Reducing Orleans military strength. All that is left is to capture the farms and cattle ranch supply meat and vegetables for the pony defenders and Chavalee ponies in Orleans will be force to surrender or starve. No the city of Orleans will fall. Besides many Chavalee ponies support me even something Mesluine has yet to gain frm the Chavalee ponies she has yet to prove herself as Knight. If the Goddess wills it. I will be able to capture my beloved Mesluine after she is beaten." Tarwin said.
"Ah the old fashion claim the lady as price. Clever my brother. Reminds me of the story how father claimed our mother Epona. Honestly you out of all of our siblings was born an alicorn Tarwin." Hastien said.
"You don't have to remind me Hastien. I get that enough from many of the Eolish and our Loyal Chavalee noble houses and their families. I've already been privately accused of ploting for the throne. And with rumors how two of our brothers were killed 6 years ago. I rather not have the Btalian inquisition come asking me questions especially with my love for Mesluine." Tarwin said.
"Just be careful Tarwin their are many greedy Chavalee noble knights who would use Mesluine just to hurt you especially since your both on opposite sides in this war brother." Hastien said.
Then a second brother named Darlen an earth pony scholarly type comes into the war room. "Am I interrupting brothers?"
"Oh bother Darlen. Not at all." Hastien said nodding to him.
"Tarwin and Hastien my men interpreted a messager carrying a letter to a group of Chavalee barons in the city of Tours in southern Chavale, whom have been plotting to size the Eolish throne and divide up our lands here on the Chavale mainland including our people's home origins the great Castle Maen itself that we stand in." Darlen said.
"Pfff More arrogant Chavalee ponies ever eager to take the Eolish hard earned lands here on the mainland." Hastien said.
"Brothers the news gets worse. Our mother the queen has gone missing when she was let seen in the City of Boardeaux. I believe the same Chavale barons are the same ponies who kidnapped the queen. And they intend to use her as a bargaining chip in the event you brother Tarwin take the city of Orleans with General Alexander." Darlen said.
"We have to find her, but I still need to send another army to Orleans in preparation for the siege. I worked hard to drive a blow against Chavale I won't let them stop us when we have 2/3 of Chavale were just so close to victory several more after Orleans and we'll have all of Chavale." Tarwin said.
"lets not get ahead of ourselves Tarwin. Chavale has always found a way to resist Eolish rule. If we are to truly keep what we have an we must find our mother and secure our western front, the Tisilian Kingdom will help support our borders in the lands near Boardeaux from their we must find the queen, our father will be furious. And the last thing we need is for hoping to make a rash decision." Darlen said.
"I'll send word to forces near Boardeaux and our strongholds to watch for a Chavalee offensive on our Western coast holdings, I'll make sure the troops you need Tarwin will reach Orleans." Hastien said.
"Then I'll search for our mother and see if I can deal with the Chavalee barons that have kidnapped her." Tarwin said.
"Then I'm going with you brother. Just in case. Alicorn or not Tarwin your not truly invisible." Darlen said.
"Good then lets get on with it. I'll return to my forces at Orleans once I and brother Darlen deal with making sure our mother is safe Hastien." Tarwin said as he and Darlen leave the war room. With Hastien doing the same.

"2000 years ago in the old world of the far north, once upon time pony kind lived in the valley of our ancestors. We Stirropeans call it old Equestria. Once a land of lush green beauty, protected by mountains surronding the vast valley. But we or rather the Equestrian pony tribes that we Stirropeans abandoned to freeze to death, were divided."
"Our Goddess and Creator Laura Faust she gave us life made us in her image so we would relay on one another but the three tribes over time began to distrust the other and believed they were superior to the other. So much so total war became an option."
"The leaders of Equestria Tribes despised one another and that radical hatred spilled over to us common ponies not part of the leadership. Hatred of Unicorns , Earth Ponies and Pegasus was common in each tribe as the three hated they relied on each other. I don't how it started as I was no born yet. But war erupted between the three tribes and the many other tribes of ponies."
"For many years the tribes fought and spilled the blood of their kin. Brother turned on Brother, siblings against siblings, family against family. Millions died in the civil war of Old Equestria.Even worse monsters and non pony barbaric races invaded the valley of our ancestors. "
"My father William, the First a unicorn was against this war. My father believed we Unicorn's Pegasus's and earth ponies are all equal we are not even suppose to be separated from the other tribes. So my father William the first, and thousands of Unicorns, earth ponies, and Pegasus's believed in unity for all pony races and that together we are strong we and that no enemy outside the first homeland was our equal. United pony kind stands strong against all non pony barbarians and monsters. But divided the we fall."
"Still three tribes ignored my father and the others who wanted unity together and branded them as traitors and sought to slaughter all ponies who wanted peace and unity of the three tribes. Because of this while millions of ponies died in the Three Tribe War and spilled the blood of their fellow ponies on the land the Goddess Laura gave us. My father and hundreds and thousands of ponies from the tribes who believe in the dream of unity came together. My father told me on the day before the Winter demons came he and two other influential ponies named Amdusias a male earth pony, and Buskin a Pegasus with all the ponies who secretly supported them, and a united pony race wrote up an article of independence and secession from the three Equestrian tribes and all Equestian tribes. Thus creating the united Stirropean tribes in secret."
"My Father, Amdusias, and Buskin would had plotted an uprising against the other weaken Equestria tribes. But then the winter demons came, pony like monsters of cold and frost came to the valley of our first homeland Equestria and proceeded to freeze the great valley all the while more and more horrific monster's form foreign lands came into the valley to kill and destroy and consume us. The Stirropean tribes were struck with fear of these horrible monsters. And so the three united Stirropean tribes fled on a great exodus out of the valley of our ancestors during what was called the Great Freeze event that the winter demons brought forth."
The Stirropean tribes left the the Equestrian pony tribes to die fighting each other and to freeze to death. William the first and the Stirropean tribes came to another land untouched by the winter demons but filled with monsters. By this point the Stirropean ponies came to believe the winter demons and the monsters attacking us were the punishment from our goddess Laura Faust and she was letting them punish the radical tribes as my father called them. For some reason the Winter demons left the Stirropean tribes alone. But the monsterous horrors that came to our old home and in the land we came to---- goddess above their size how they look."
(the sound of roars and horrible screeching and howls from terrifying monsters and evil beasts is heard)
"I was a colt then, and the monsters I saw still haunt me to this day. They would come and attack us Stirropean ponies from every direction possible on the eastern coastline we were holding out then. And try to slaughter and eat us. It was only thanks to the strength and bravey of the pony troops and the civilians we were able to beat them back. But still those monsters would try and eat us."
My father and mother Alora a unicorn pony did not believe the ice demons would stay away from us ponies as the monsters harrying us were not going to stay away from us. No all the Stirropean tribes feared they would follow us and attack us. So they built great big ships made of strong wood. These ships would later become our military transports. But at that time they were used by my family and our people only hope for freedom and survival. All we Stirropean ponies had was our money which was temporarily useless, our food supplies, our clothes, weapons and armors. We Stirropean ponies had lost our home land to the dreaded ice demons, monstrous horrors, and non pony barbarians and countless monsters attackers, the Stirropean tribes thankfully are united and fought together to drive back our attackers. I William the second was a colt at the time I recall the first homeland barely."
"What I remember of the first homeland was the cold snow and ice, and goddess above so many horrible monsters and barbarian hordes trying to slay my kin and family. But after three weeks the ships were readying the several hundreds and thousands of ponies began to board the great fleet of ships in a speedy time frame we Unicorns Earth ponies and Pegasus of the Stirropean tribes escaped into the sea. And in time too because the Equestrian tribes followed us into the new lands we found, and apparently were not happy we abandoned them to die, they would have attacked us too had we not escaped onto the ships and away we went while the ice demons followed them and began to freeze the land around them. We learned this when our Pegasus's said the weather was dangerous and untamed and wild as they could not even tame the weather or get it to obey them without being injured or left tired. The land itself would not reproduce food for us ponies at the rate it would with magic in the soil. The soil of Stirrope is bare stripped of magic a sign Laura wants us Stirropean ponies to depend on her and not magic. If we want food then we have to work hard to grow it and learn to depend on the natural weather rainstoems to grow our crops. The animals we found did not talk or speak like the animals in old Equestria did, many ponies even the alicorns agreed we needed food and we could not relay on what we can grow limited, as grass, vegetables, and fruits in our natural soil take time. So we turned to the next food source the animals. Sheep, pigs, cows, deers, chickens, bunny rabbits, fish, etc. Animal meat can be cooked and eaten safely and surprisingly makes us ponies full if we eat a certain amount with the produce we grow."

And killing each other in another blood bath."
"Now its been some 30 years since we left the old Equestria and came to Stirrope as far as I know the old Equestria tribes are all dead and our old homelands overrun by demons and monsters and barbarians. We will meet and fight them at Hasting south of the capital while the rest of our more tribal North Stirropean brothers attack them at the Eve Lord Bridge north of the capital. Goddess willing we will take the Emerald Isle. And then we can truly build a united Stirrope the new world home of ponykind and heart of civilization."

Starswirl the bearded had read the journal of a long dead Unicorn pony named William the Second king of Stirrope. At once he had summoned Princess twilight to the Palace library along with Starlight Glimmer. He also sent word to former Princess Celestia and Luna of what he discovered.
Starswirl also had taken liberty of finding old journals of the old equestrian tribes and its three famed leaders of the hearth Warming festival. If is true they were responsible for the war that torn their old homeland apart and they were still fighting even after they came to Equestria then this truly paints a dark history on the festival of Hearth Warming. But the six founders of Equestria Queen Platinum, Clover the Clever, Commander Hurricane, Private Pansy, Chancellor Puddinghead, and Smart Cookie had discovered the magic of friendship and harmony. And yet so little is known about the truth of what really happen with them.
The Stirropean pony tribes and their leaders Journal of what happen happen in the past of ponykind it leads to questions was the divide period before the founding of Equestria truly violent and full of bloodshed if so. Its not a wonder the Stirropean ponies founded their own tribe's. But the fact they were ready to wage war on the original three and even slaughter them to the last frightened Starswirl with the terrifying fact that the Stirropean ponies had the windgos or as they call them the ice demons not come to the old Homeland, then their would had been a Stirropean lead genocidal war against the Equestria tribe's and everything today everypony would never had been born. But in their place a more violent race of ponies whom fear the unknown, could have shaped Equestria as they saw fit one where non ponies were hunted and killed. As according t the information Starswirl has gained form the history book of Stirrope its ponies have a different view of the world. Just thinking about the possibility of such a what made Starswirl not want to think about what if the Stirropean ponies declared war against the Equestrian tribes.
The ponies of Stirrope see themselves as superior to all none pony races and their kingdoms as the hearts of civilization. The belief in might makes right. They see all non ponies as barbarians and monsters to fight and kill for glory and in the name of Laura Faust.
"What kind of ponies hail Laura Faust as their creator and yet kill in her name?!" Starswirl said to himself as he continues to read in the Palace library waiting for Princess Twilight Sparkles.
Starswirl finds even famous sayings in this book. "No peace. Just war!" "Faust wills it!" "For Laura!" Clearly the Stirropean ponies have a more narrow minded religious view. Starswirl is a bit more surprised on the Stirropean ponies religious stance. Now he knows about religion as some beings worship gods. But never has he ever seen or read of ponies who worship Laura Faust so zealously. As the info Starswirl has discovered shows the Stirropean ponies worship Laura Faust and view her as their goddess and creator and even how they must worship her and please her. One of which is don't use magic to make our mortal lives easier.
Strangely the Stirropean ponies believe they have to not use their magic as some of the journals of William the Second says they treated magic like a toy to use and make their lives easier, and because of that Laura has taken the magic out of the world at least as the Stirropean ponies view it the don't know that Equestria is basked in magic. The live in a land where magic doesn't exist in the land? It leads Starswirl to wonder what exactly is going on in Stirrope and why magic to Stirrope ponies something to use less possible as apparently they believe they cannot use magic to help their lives but they use it more in conflict. As of the Stirropean ponies believe they must not use magic unless absolutely necessary.
Finally princess Twilight Sparkles came at last.
Along with Starlight Glimmer. "Starswirl I got you message it sounded urgent is something wrong? And have you been up all night? You don't look lime you slept." Twilight Sparkles asked in concer
"Judging from all the books I say he has been here all night." Starlight said.
"(Signs) No and unfortunately I'm afraid what I have just learned changes everything." Starswirl said walking to a clipboard of pictures of the founders of Equestria and some unknown ponies. The all seem interconnect by string lines.
"Starswirl?" Twilight asked.
"Princess Twilight do you and starlight remember the incident some years ago when you Starlight tried to change the past?" Starswirl said.
Starlight recalling how she almost destroyed their future and undid the past by stopping Rainbow Dash from performing her sonic rainboom has a look of shame as she almost ruin the future and the past all because she wanted to make it where the main 6 were never born or never became friends, so she could make every pony equal without cutie marks.
Twilight Sparkles puts her hand on Starlight shoulder to assure her she is nothing like the pony she was once. "Yes we both recall what Starlight tried to do." Twilight said.
"Forgive me for saying this Starlight Glimmer, but because of you our future fate is unknown and in danger because of what you did." Starswirl said almost angry.
"But Twilight and I! e fixed the timeline!------ didn't we?" Starlight asked concerned.
"Oh you fixed the timeline alright, but you also caused a change to happen, one none of us even knew about because in a bizarre sense the change you caused didn't happen till you started to try to change time." Starswirl said walking to the book of Stirrope history and journals. "Because of you Starlight you cause an event deep in Equestria past to happen. I don't know how, but according to you both, you Starlight created 7 alternate timelines in your quest to change the past. Somewhere somehow during your battle something happen, something that made me look though the library for what was asked by an unknown pony years after the time of Equestria Founding." Starswirl said.
"What do you mean. Starswirl? What was asked?" Twilight asked curious and concern.
"What if their was a kingdom of ponies that ruled themselves without interference from the tree of Harmony to be at peace? What if their were kingdoms of ponies that ruled and waged war, with none of the ideas of friendship and harmony to keep the most violent nature of our kin in check? What if their was kingdoms full of ponies who's fear of non ponies and monsters lead them to wage an endless war against them? What if their was a land where pony kind called home in a place where harmony never reached and where magic vanished? What if magic was feared? What if all this time their were indeed kingdoms full of ponies who have lived without the knowledge and ideas of harmony?" Starswirl said and put down a book journal of an unknown pony who had asked the question what if the elements and the tree of harmony were not around or discovered.
"Starswirl that's crazy. An existence where ponies had to live without harmony and Friendship? I can't even imagine that." Twilight said and looked at the book.
"Is it Twilight? Before the founding of Equestria. In the old Equestria Valley our ancestors came from their was a time where we did not know of harmony or friendship let alone were we united. What history books won't tell you twilight is once upon time long before my time. Our ancestors of the pony tribes once were at peace and united, but with time the tribes in the valley of Old Equestria turned on each by race or culture. And then they waged a terrible war against one another." Starswirl said.
Of course Twilight new about wars and the horrors and death and loss that it brought. "But none of our founders talked or said anything none of the journals of Celestia and Luna mentioned a war before the founding." Twilight said.
"Thats because the founders when they discovered harmony Twilight in the moments when the windgos came. They realized the mistakes that were made and worse of all the terrible loss of pony life." Starswirl said and pushed over the Stirropean book where on a page William the first wrote the death toll of the Three Tribe's War which he had estimated in the millions.
"Celestia------" Twilight said it was not just the pictures of ponies fighting ponies it was ponies fighting horrific monsters of terrifying looks and sizes roars of creatures can be heard along with battle cries.
"The Three tribes war or the Tribes war. That's what our ancestors called it. If what I have learned in the last several hours is true, whatever had happen before and after you and Starlight changed and fixed time, the Tribe's War was so destructive and deadly and resulted in a terrible loss in life the founders whom would have had memories of the war choose to bury it and refused to talk about it if at all possible. After all why let future generations know of the horrors committed when we all could live in peace and forget. Especially since it was not just ponies that we were fighting but monster's who came seeing us as food." Starswirl said looking back at the pictures in the book that showed horrific monsters killing, dying and fighting ponies.
"but what has this got to do with Starlight chasing in the past?" Twilight asked.
"Everything princess everything. Whatever it was that happen in your fight years ago. Something happen while you did not go to the founding of Equestria or before. Something or somepony did something that caused this to happen." Starswirl said pointing at the start of the Stirropean ponies history.
"Somehow your fight weather it was destined or meant to happen an accident, it caused hundreds and thousands of Ponies in Old Equestria to come together in belief that united they stand strong. They call themselves the Stirropean tribes. They had split from the Equestrian tribes. In a way the could be called the lost tribes. Their were three of them each reflecting the unicorns earth ponies and Pegasus's they each despise the war and division." Starswirl said and explained as Twilight and Starlight listen with great interest Twilight began using her magic to write everything down about the Stirropean ponies.
"According to the journals of the Stirropean founder king William the Second his father William the first believed all pony kind is meant to be united and together, no non pony or monster could stand against them. Apparently the Three Equestrian tribes did not agree and tried to kill him and any pony who dared believe in uniting with the enemy as they called each other." Starswirl said and explained everything he learned for the next hour.

"This is incredible their is entire kingdom full of ponies across the North east sea! And yet shocking that they have lived for so long without Harmony and the knowledge of Friendship for 2000 years!?" Twilight exclaimed shocked that their is a landmass full of ponies and Alicorns that know nothing of friendship.
"This means oh Celestia! Had I not tried to undo the past. Had I been thinking right. Those ponies would never had left Equestria." Starlight said.
"Their is more to this that you don't know both of you. The Stirropean ponies hate us they hate all Equestrian ponies that did not go with them. They blame our ancestors for the war and for the windgos, and the monsters that overran the old homeland. They changed and believe they need strong armies to defend themselves against the monsters villains and horrors of the world. And if what we learn is true then the land of Stirrope the Stirropean ponies have lived in for 2000 years has been wiped clean of all non ponies and monsters." Starswirl said.
"They killed them all?! I can understand monsters but what about dragons, and griffons?! Or even pony like races?" Twilight asked.
"According to the pony King William the Conquer. They spend the first 40 years of his young life hunting down the monsters and non ponies they came across killing them for the glory of Laura Faust their Goddess. The dragons they found they saw as horrific greedy beasts to slay, and others like griffions as inferior Barbarians to fight and kill in the name of Laura Faust. And don't get me started on the pony like races. Apparently the Stirropeans believe pony and pony like races are the only beings worthy to rule the world so they make them join them by force. The Alicorns that lived in Stirrope were among the many pony races of Stirrope to be absorb in the Stirropean tribes peacefully of violently." Starswirl said with a grim sadden look.
"Laura Faust? Isn't that Celestia and Luna's mother? And why would they they believe ponies are superior that sounds so specists?" Twilight said.
"Perhaps it has to do with how William the first believed ponies being created by Laura that Ponykind were meant to rule over the world Laura created. His own son William the second, also known as the conquer took what his father taught him to heart and lead armies of ponies in conquest over Stirrope killing every non pony they could find, and killing the monsters that threaten them. Today their most likely only ponies living in Stirrope. And if the feudal system is still what the Stirropean ponies have in place still then they have spent over 2000 years of their existence waging war against non pony races and eventually each other. After all they would have run out of enemies to fight. As for Laura Cause she is the mother of Luna and Celestia if you wish to know more about her you have to ask the sisters." Starswirl said.
"Basically they go the route the Three tribes they despised accept their are entire pony kingdoms." Starlight said seeing the irony.
"Yes according to these historical notes it appears the first 1000 years Stirrope was united in Golden age of peace between the pony races and in that time while at peace with each other, they waged a genocidal war against all non ponies in Stirrope and waged total wars against the pony races that refused to join them and made them join by force. Zebras, alicorns, even the small Breezies. And then its not long before the Stirropean ponies run out of enemies to fight and then turn on each other because their were few enemies left that could challenge their armies especially when their cultures began to conflict with eachother. Pff the poor fools." Starswirl said almost with pity.
"Mother of Celestia----- Starswirl all this time while Equestria has been at peace despite the villains and crisis we faced. All these Stirropean ponies have spend over 2000 years apart from us?! All because of Starlight and my battle in the time stream. This doesn't feel right." Twilight said deeply shaken by the thought of an entire landmass full of ponies waging war against the other.
"No it's not. But the Stirropean ponies exist separate from all you have learned Princess Twilight. And what concerns me is its only matter of time before the Stirropean ponies decide instead of fighting each other they should come back west and see if their old homelands are overrun by monsters. And if they are still warlike and they find Equestria which by the way is not exactly military prepare for war their is very stark chance the Stirropean ponies would make am attempt to invade Equestria and the other non pony nations." Starswirl said.
"But we're nothing like what the ponies were like centuries ago! Surely if they came they would see were not the same hateful ponies and races living in Equestria are not barbarians. They wouldn't." Twilight said trying to come tg a collision fellow ponies can change.
"They wouldn't wage war on us Twilight Sparkles? Not even if the Stirropean ponies decide we the new generation share the sins of our ancestors? Considering they were hated and hunted by the Founders of Equestria. The Stirropean ponies respect military strength and strong leaders. To many of the Stirropean ponies when they do find us. We Equestrians are weak and soft. To them were just more ponies for them to force under their kingdoms. While all our non pony friends such as Spike are monsters that they would try and slay. They maybe ponies Twilight. But these ponies with each generation has spend over 1000 years in a medieval feudal period. The lords, ladies, kings and Queens rule Stirrope, while their peasants and middle class citizens toil and pay their taxes for protection and military services. Nothing has changed for the Stirropeans in over a thousand years." Starswirl said.
"Maybe they have not changed Starswirl but I refuse to believe that fellow ponies even in another land far away cannot change." Twilight says.
"And I believe you princess. And I hope and pray that whatever happens in the future your right. Because I fear we will soon meet the Stirropeans and not the friendly ones." Starswirl said remembering the twisted image's of Stirropean soldier's killing Equestrians.
"Did you tell Celestia and Luna? I know that on vacation--- oh their also the girls! I need to find spike and have him write a letter to them too about this historic discovery!" Twilight said as she was wanting to tell her friends.
