The crest of Reality, a secret crest that allows the owner to travel between realities. However, it has been split into 3 different parts. These 3 parts are now in the hands of teens/kids who will give it there all to stop these strange anomalies that are happening across the multiverse.
With their Digimon, will they rise to the challenge or will they fail?
Centuries ago during the time of the Silver Millennium there was an Alliance Between different groups in realities. Regular Earth, the realm of Equestria, the world of the Silver Millennium, the Digital World, and the universe of the Morphing Grid. However, when Beryl attacked the Moon Kingdom the realities were left without contact with each other and eventually, they forgot about each other over the centuries.
However, there is a prophecy that states that the Alliance would rise again with the help of the three Digidestined of Reality.
Ponyville- Equestria Twilights POV-
I had just returned from another adventure with my friends, and to say I was concerned was an understatement.
It was just another day in Ponyville, so naturally there was a monster attacking. However, this monster was different from other monsters we've faced. for a few different reasons.
Reason 1, It was an unknown creature. It looked kind of like a dragon of some sort with gray scale armor and a gray horn on its nose.
Reason 2, Nothing we did could actually hurt it. All magic attacks just bounced off its scales.
Reason 3: When it attacked it shouted "Volcanic Strike". That's what really surprised us, it appeared that it needed to say those words to attack. So the first thing we tried was talking it down. All that did was give us its name. Which we now know to be Monochromon.
While knowing its name didn't help us, it appears some sort of Giant armored hand appeared from a portal that opened up and grabbed "Monochromon" and pulled it into said portal.
I shudder as I remember how the creature began to thrash, trying to get free from the hand.
Shaking my head I decide to send a letter to the Princess to see if she knew anything about this.
"Spike! I need you to send a letter to the princess for me!" I call out as the small purple dragon comes to me with a concerned look on his face.
"Okay, is everything all right though? You looked concerned about something."
I look at him and sigh.
"Honestly I'm not sure."
February 8, 2019- New York
Adrien's POV-
"So you might be wondering who I am? My name is Adrien Anderson, I'm 13 years old, my eyes are blue, I have blond hair, my favorite color is purple, and I wear blue jeans, a gray shirt and black rectangular glasses. My favorite shows are Digimon, and Power Rangers.
I sigh as I finish help clean up the house after my Birthday party. I then head to my room and look at some of the things I got.
A Kindle Fire to Watch Digimon and Voltron on, a Elemental Hero Deck for Yu-Gi-Oh, and Power Rangers DVD's.
Once I put these thing neatly on my desk, I open my laptop and decide to watch some Digimon Adventure online. After awhile I get to the episode where Tai and his friends get the Tags and begin looking for their crests.
" I wonder what it'd be like if these shows were real?" This was a bit unusual of me to be questioning since I was usually a serious person who didn't believe things like this could be real, but I was curious and I kept having these odd dreams.
Little did I know that I would soon find out.
Once the Episode was done I begin to turn off my computer, before I can do that though the screen of my computer begin to glow with a bright light.
"What the?!" I yelp as the glowing screen pulls me into it and I vanish falling unconscious, unaware that this world and many others would be changed, forever.
Digital World- Fanglongmon's Quadrant-
As I wake up I hear five voices talking.
"Are you sure this is wise? We aren't even sure he's one of the chosen of reality." Says one voice
"Yes I'm sure. He is one of the Digidestined on Reality the Purple Reality Crest started glowing when he arrived." Says another voice.
"I don't like this, why should we rely on humans? Do you not remember who created the D-Reaper in the first place?" Says yet another voice who seemed to have a dislike for people.
Suddenly I realize who's talking, but don't quite believe it. I quickly sit up and rub my eyes, once my vision is completely cleared I look at the creatures in front of me.
There in front of me are Azulongmon, Baihumon, Ebonwumon, and Zhuqiaomon, with their leader Fanglongmon!
I was shocked, not only was I standing in front of a group of five Digimon but I was in front of the Soverign, the guardians who kept the balance in the Digital World!
Thinking I was dreaming, I pinched myself to try and wake up.
Nothing happened.
" So... do you know why I'm here?" I ask them nervously. After all, they were practically gods in this world.
"Yes young human we do, you see you and two others have been chosen as the children of reality. A group of Digidestined who wield the Crests of Reality in order to travel the multiverse." Explains Azulongmon carefully
"Okay... so I'm apparently some sort of Digidestined who can travel across the multiverse. But why me? What makes me so special?
Azulongmon looks at me with a look of sadness before answering.
"Young one, the reason you have been called upon is because there is a threat coming towards all worlds and we need your help to stop it."
"Okay, that explains why you called me here, but that doesn't explain why I was chosen instead of someone else. I mean there must be better options in your Quadrants versions of the Human World right?"
Azulongmon looks towards Fanglongmon who then begins speaking.
"Unfortunately, only people from my Quadrant can wield the Crests of Reality and you're one of them."
I sigh, understanding why I was chosen. However, I remember something important.
"Hold on, who are the other two Digidestined of Reality who will be working with me?"
Baihumon looks at me before answering.
"We aren't sure yet. However we are looking into it. For now, here is your Digivice."
Once this is said a my wrist begins to glow and a Digivice 01 from the V-Tamer manga appears on my wrist.
"With this you can open a gate to the Digital World on your laptop and once we find your partner Digimon you can use it to digivolve them to their Champion form."
I look at the device on my wrist with contemplation wondering what I should say. After all, I was only 13, I also knew that my family would never allow me to go on some dangerous mission to save the world. I wasn't ever sure they'd believe me if I told them what happened!
Ebonwumon looks at me and chuckles.
"I know what you're thinking lad, don't worry about it. Time freezes while you're in the Digital World or in another reality."
"With that said young one what do you say? Will you help us?
Not knowing what else to do I say: I, Adrien Anderson will help you as one of the Digidestined of Reality save all realities that need to be saved!
I look into Azulongmon's eyes and see appreciation.
"Thank you, now I shall open a Digital gate back to your room. We'll contact you through your Digivice when we find your partner."
"Than you." I say as a portal opens behind me, I walk into it once I'm back in my room I get into my chair in front of my desk and slouch down.
I sigh as I get home from school and go to my room for the day. I then pull out the Digivice I got from the Sovereign the other day and stare at it.
As I stare at it I can't help but wonder, how on Earth was I supposed to do this? I was only 13 years old. I knew that they had chosen me, but I had to wonder if they made the right choice.
My thought are interrupted when the Digivice begins to beep. I push the button on the left to answer.
"Hello?"
"Ah! Good to hear your voice lad." I recognize the voice as Ebonwumon. "We've located your Digimon partner, he's in Azulongmon's realm with Gennai as we speak.
"Wait, Gennai's real? Does that mean Tai, Davis and the other Digidestined are real as well?
"Yes, they're not the only ones who are real though, as you know the D-Reaper did happen in another reality, the Frontier chosen are around as well though they did things a little differently than what was shown in your world, more on that later, and DATS exists as well."
"Amazing!, But how do I travel to another reality? You never really told me how to do that."
Ebonwumon chuckles
"All you have to do is come to the Digital World your real world in connected to and you'll be able to choose which reality you want to go to by coming to the place where we first met."
"I don't know where that is though, is there a way to figure out where that is?"
"sigh Just come to the Digital world and I'll try to explain how the Digiport works, okay?"
"Okay, I'll be there." I say as I open up my computer and turn on the Digiport program that had been installed on it yesterday.
Once in the Digital world I see that I'm in the place I was when I was first transported there yesterday and I see Ebonwumon.
"Glad you could make it lad."
"Same here, now could you tell me how to travel between realities?" I ask the two. headed turtle sovereign. (Though his voice was coming out of both mouths as I now realized).
"Well lad, as you saw on the computer there are different options as to where you can teleport to. If you go to the destination option you can change where you can go, but you have to have been to that Digiport in order for it to work.
"I think I got it now, anyways how do I travel between realities?" I ask getting to the more important topic.
"Well all you have to do is go into that base over there and tell ENIAC which world you want to go to."
I froze for a second when Ebonwumon said ENIAC
"ENIAC, that first computer and system administrator of the Digital World, the computer that exists in different universes and realities all at once, and that helped Ryo Akiyama defeat Millenniummon and allowed Ryo to travel to another reality?
Ebonwumon frowns at this
"You know about that then?"
"Yeah, I know about that. Let's talk about that later though okay?"
Ebonwumon lowers his head in shame
"Anyways just tell ENIAC where I want to go right?"
"Yeah lad, just tell him you want to go to Azulongmon's world and you'll be there.
I nod and smile slightly at him.
"Your partner would understand Ebonwumon."
He looks at me, shocked but then smiles
I then enter the base and look around and see a glowing sphere
"You're ENIAC right?"
" Yes Adrien."
"Anyways, I need to go to Azulongmon's world to meet my partner, can you get me there?"
"Indeed, just step through that portal door and you'll be at the base in Azulongmon's world."
"Okay, thanks."
I turn to where the portal door had opened and slowly walk through it. Once on the other side I see that the base isn't that different from the one in Fanglongmon's world.
I then step outside and see that there's a Unimon waiting there for me.
"You're Adrien I presume?"
"Yeah, that's me."
"Okay, if you'd follow me to primary village we can go see Gennai and your partner.
As we walk I notice that File Island looked a little destroyed.
"Unimon, what happened to File Island? It looks like something tore those trees out of the ground."
He looks at me and shakes his head.
"We're still recovering from the Malo Myotismon battle that took place a year ago."
"Oh..." I couldn't help but feel a little guilty, this Digital World had seen the most enemies, while it wasn't as bad as the the Digital World the Tamers went to it was still pretty bad. I shudder for a moment thinking about the condition of that Digital World
After a few more minutes of walking in silence we finally made it to Primary Village were we see a man with brown hair in a strange robe waiting for us.
"Ah Unimon, I see that one of the Children of Reality is here."
"Yes, he has come to meet his partner Digimon." Answers Unimon
"It's an honor to meet you sir, I'm Adrien." I said, holding my hand out.
" It's nice to meet you too Adrien." Says Gennai, shaking my hand. "Now then, would you like to meet your partner?"
" Yes please, that would be nice."
Gennai chuckles
"Well, you're quite well mannered Adrien, you remind me of Cody quite a bit. Anyways, we should probably go get your partner."
I nod my head and we begin to follow Gennai to where my Digimon partner is.
After about 3 minutes of walking, we come across Elecmon,the caretaker of Primary Village.
"Gennai, Unimon, this is one of the Children of Reality correct?" Asks Elecmon
"Yes, that is correct Elecmon, this is Adrien, is his partner here?" Asks Unimon
Elecmon nods his head in confirmation
"Yeah, he's here and he's been waiting to meet his partner. So let's not keep him waiting."
With that we follow Elecmon to where my partner is. After about two minutes of walking Elecmon introduces me to my partner. A small purple Digimon with orange eyes and cat like ears on top of its head.
"Adrien, this is your partner Dorimon."
"Hello Dorimon I'm Adrien, it's nice to meet you." I say as I give a small smile since I have a bit of trouble socializing.
"Dorimon squeaks and starts running around me in circles.
"Hi Adrien! I've been waiting to meet you for a while! I can't wait to get to know you and become friends!" Says Dorimon excitedly and practically bouncing with energy.
"Whoah. Calm down for a sec! I just got here!" I say as I try and get Dorimon to calm down for a few seconds.
Gennai chuckles at Dorimon's antics.
"Well then, I should probably get going, good luck Adrien, you too Dorimon.
"Hold on a second Gennai, I need to ask you something."
"What do you need to ask?"
"Do you know why I wasn't given my crest when I first got transported to Fanglongmon's Digital World?" I ask him.
Gennai frowns before answering
"There are 2 requirements that must be fulfilled before you can be given your crest. One, the children of Reality must be able to Digivolve their partners to the champion level, two all three Children of Reality must be present to receive there Crests of Reality."
"Why is that though? Wouldn't just be easier to give us are crests when we first arrive in the Digital World?"
Gennai sighs before answering.
"You'd think that. However, there are many evil Digimon who'd love to get their hands on those crests. That is why a failsafe was put in place, to keep them out of evil hands."
I nod in understanding.
"I think I understand, thanks for explaining Gennai."
"You're welcome, anyways you should probably get back to Fanglongmon's Digital World."
"How come? I thought time froze whenever I go into the Digital World?"
"That is true. However, ENIAC can only transport people between worlds at certain time thanks to the damage done to our Digital Worlds done by the many enemies they encountered. Once the damage is completely repaired you'll be able to go between worlds anytime you want." Explains Gennai.
"Okay, I better get going then! Come on Dorimon, lets go to Fanglongmon's Digital World! Bye Gennai!" With that said Dorimon and I begin run back to the base where ENIAC was.
Once back in Fanglongmon's Digital World I made the tough decision to talk with Dorimon, explaining why it was import that he stay in the base while I'm in the human world.
"The reason why it's important you stay here is because Digimon is just a TV show, Video Game, and Comic book series in my world. If you are caught who knows what'll happen." I explain to Dorimon.
"Okay, but you'll be back tomorrow right?" He asks innocently.
"Yeah, I'll be back tomorrow." I answer smiling
Once we say our goodbyes for the day, I am back in my room and I decide to continue watching Digimon Adventure, getting to the episode where Tai and the other get back to the human world during the Myotismon Arc.
"One day, I'll be as great as they are." I whisper.
Ebonwumon's Quadrant-
Ebonwumon's POV-
I sigh as I wander my quadrant thinking about the old days, the days when Azulongmon, Baihumon, Zhuqiaomon, and I weren't the sovereign. The days when there were five of us.
The days we were partner Digimon.
I still wonder how my old partner, Shining Armor, a being from a world different from Earth was doing.
Once school was finished for the day and I was back home, I went into my room and opened my laptop to open the Digi-port program so I could go see Dorimon again.
After putting in the coordinates I put my Digivice to the screen and I am transported to the Digital World where I know Dorimon is waiting for me.
Fanglongmon's Digital World-
"Adrien! You're here!" Dorimon says excitedly as he sees me tackling me to the ground in the process.
"Oof! Yeah, I'm here." I say as I rub where he tackled me since it felt sore.
"What are we going to do today?" Asks Dorimon curiously.
"Well, I was thinking we could see more of this Digital World since we haven't seen much of it yet." I say since I want to get more of the Digi-ports active so that I can travel to more parts of the Digital World easier.
"That sounds like fun!" Says Dorimon happily.
"Yeah, not to mention it'll make traveling easier." I say with a small smile.
With that said Dorimon and I began walking to the west into a forest.
One hour later-
After about an hour of walking Dorimon and I had yet to encounter any other bases or Digi-ports. We were beginning to think that there weren't any other bases around here.
That changed when we saw what looked like a building in the distance.
"Dorimon! Look over there!" I shout pointing towards the building with excitement.
"Is that the base of this area?" Dorimon asks hopefully.
"I think so, we better hurry over there before some Digimon finds us."
The reason I said this is because about half an hour ago me and Dorimon began hearing rustling in the bushes and it happened at least 5 different times.
"Yeah, lets get over there, I don't want to find out what's been following us." Dorimon says a little bit scared and honestly I couldn't blame him.
"If only you could, little Digidestined."
The voice that spoke made Dorimon and I freeze in place. It sounded cold and cruel, as if it didn't care about who it hurt, like it would hurt anyone just for the fun of it.
Slowly Dorimon and I turned around.
Right behind us was a wolf like Digimon that kind of looked like Garurumon. However there were some differences.
For example, this Digimon was bit more skinny than Garurumon and it appeared to be more fiendish if that's how it could be described.
I quickly use my Digivice to scan the Digimon like the Tamers do. Just to be sure it isn't a Garurumon.
Digimon Bio-
Gururumon- Level- Champion Type- Beast Attribute- Virus Special Attack- Chaos Fire
"Okay, this isn't good." I say as Dorimon and I slowly back away from Gururumon, towards where the base is.
"Chaos Fire!" Shouts Gururumon as it fires a fire ball out of its mouth.
Dorimon and I manage to dodge the attack begin running towards the base.
"Hurry Adrien! We have to get to the base!" Shouts Dorimon in a panicking voice as we ran as fast as we could. However, Gururumon was quickly catching up.
"You can't escape me, boy!" Snarls the Gururumon.
With that said Gururumon jumps at me, ready to tear me to pieces.
Dorimon wasn't having any of that however.
With great courage, Dorimon rams into Gururumon's side.
"Metal Drop!" Shouts Dorimon as he spits iron grains from his mouth as he rams into Gururumon.
This causes Gururumon to go flying into a tree with a loud Crash!. Dorimon then quickly runs back to me as Gururumon begins to try and get back up.
"Adrien! Are you okay?" Asks Dorimon, concerned.
"Yeah, I'm fine, thanks." I say, grateful for having him by my side.
Even though we've only known each other for a day, it seemed like we were going to be an unbeatable team.
When those thoughts came into my mind my Digivice began to glow.
"What is this!?" Snarls Gururmon, who had recovered from being slammed into the tree.
I then realize what the light is and face the screen of my Digivice towards Dorimon, who begins to glow with white light.
Dorimon digivolve to... Dorumon!
When the light died down, in the place of Dorimon was purple furred Dinosaur with a fox tail and a red symbol on its forehead.
I quickly used my Digivice to scan my partners Digivolution.
Digimon Bio-
Dorumon Level- Rookie Type- Beast Attribute- Data Special Attack- Metal Cannon
I look at my partners Rookie form in shock.
However, Gururumon just laughs before speaking in a cold, cruel tone: "You think that just because you've Digivolved to Rookie that you can defeat me?
Dorumon however, just smirks.
"You may be a level higher than me, but that won't stop me from protecting my friend! He shouts.
"Dash Metal!" Shouts Dorumon as he charges at Gururumon and fires a metal ball from his mouth.
This causes Gururumon to crash into another tree. This time however, he struggles to get back up.
"Time to finish this!" Shouts Dorumon as he prepares to finish Gururumon off.
I quickly stop Dorumon from doing that.
"Dorumon wait! We need to find out why he attacked us!" I shout as I step in front of Gururumon.
Dorumon doesn't look happy about this, but complies.
"Okay then." I say as I face Gururumon "Why did you attack us?" I ask in a stern tone.
"Like I'd ever tell you." Growls Gururumon
"Look, we can either do this the easy way and we just let you leave or we can do this the hard way your pick."
Just as Gururumon was about to answer me however, a bolt of purple lightning strikes where we are and destroys Gururumon and knocks me and Dorumon back.
We look up at where the lightning came from and stare in shock as I purple portal disappears into thin air.
"groan What was that?" I ask Dorumon in confusion.
"I don't know, but whatever it was, I don't think it wanted Gururumon telling us anything
"We should tell the sovereign about this next time we see them." I say with seriousness in my voice.
Dorumon nods his head in agreement.
Once we made sure we were okay we made are way to the base and managed to link it up to the other base it was then that we learned we could use a teleport room to teleport between bases.
After doing just that, I say goodbye to Dorumon and return to the real world so I can work on my homework.
As I do that I couldn't help but wonder about what caused that lightning and if it would cause anymore problems.
Equestria- Crystal Empire-
Shining Armors POV-
It was just another day. I did my duty as Captain of the Guard, helped train some new guards and spent time with my wife; Princess Cadence.
However, I did receive word that a strange creature had tried to attack Ponyville. I asked those who reported this to me to give me all information on this
When I looked through the files and learned the creatures name, I almost had a heart attack.
I quickly excused myself and went to my room and went through my stuff and found what I was looking for: My Digivice and the Crest of Determination.
I eye these items sadly as a tear makes its way across my face.
Cadence comes in and looks at me concerned.
"Shining, what's wrong?"
"Check the report I just got." Is all I could say at the moment
She does just that and her eyes widen in shock.
"If this is true, than there's going to be trouble."
" I know, it also makes me think about the others as well."
Cadence nods and walks over to me, giving me a hug
"Hopefully we'll see them again, all of them."
I sigh before answering
"After what happened to Maki's partner? I can't help but feel that we failed in some way."
"Shining, Maki has Daigo with her, she's probably recovered by now."
"Yeah, but I have to wonder How Nami is doing. She is from a different universe than any of us after all."
"Yeah, I wonder how are partners are doing though? The last we saw them, they Digivolved to Mega and we sealed Apocalymon away.
"Yeah, I just hope he hasn't broken free."
"We can only hope." Cadence says as we look at our Digivices
