Chapter 1
It all started when I was writing a book report on a book I hated. I unfortunately had gave in to peer pressure and read it. It sucked. So here I was staring at a blank computer screen confused as to what I was writing. I just sat there before deciding to give up and watch my downloads.
I laughed as I ate some chocolate I stashed in my room. What was I watching, you ask? Oh, only the best show ever, My Little pony: friendship is Magic. Anyways, I was laughing at the antics of my favorite character, Discord. He is the Spirit of Chaos and Disharmony. He is a real troll. He is random and has a chocolate milk fetish. I watched My Little Pony until I passed out instead of doing my homework like i was supposed to.
Later that night is when it happened. Okay, so it went down like this: I was sleeping soundly having nice dreams when a weird sound woke me up. I snapped open my eyes only to be blinded by a flash of light.
“What the fu-” I almost said.
I then landed on the hard ground with a yelp. I looked around as I realized that I was in a classroom. I quirked a brow as I tried to stand up. I immediately lost balance and fell on my butt. I was even more confused and begin looking around me. My eyes landed on a mirror. I screamed in terror. I was a fucking pony.
A pony with a buttercream coat, a long brown mane, and a short cut, brown tail. stared back at me in horror. I noticed my eye color changed from dark brown to ember and that I had a red highlight in my hair. I had a highlight in my tail as well.. At least i had my glasses. And then the final feature was my ass tattoo (or my cutie mark) It was a paintbrush.
That’s when i heard the telltale sound of the clip clops of hooves behind me. I looked behind me. There was a white alicorn looking at me with a look of concern. No! Not an ordinary white alicorn! That was Princess fucking Celestia! She was standing in front of me. I wonder if i’m on drugs….
“What is your name, young one?” Celestia suddenly asked softly.

I just stared at princess Celestia in shock.
“I-Is this a dream…?” I stuttered out.
“No, young one. I found you in my castle. We should talk later. We need to hide.” She explained.
I rose a brow at that.
“W-why…?” I asked.
“A tyrant from long ago that took pleasure in spreading chaos has escaped from his prison and has been causing havoc.” Celestia explained.
That’s when I felt the adrenaline rush. I abruptly stood up.
“I got to go.” I said.
Celestia gave me a confused look.
“But it is chaos out there. I want every creature safe.” Celestia said worried.
“I’m aware. But I must go. Bye, Princess” I said before running out of the castle while struggling a bit.
So it brings us back to this. I run to the pedestal, find it empty, and run again only to find the Mane Six face-to-face with Discord. Suddenly, I felt myself lose control of my body.
“STOP!!” I yelled running in front of Discord and putting my arms out like I was shielding Discord, who had a confused look on his face.
I took a deep breath.
“Don’t do it. We need him. Without chaos, there is no peace in Equestria.” I said desperately glancing at Discord.
He had a mix of emotions. I saw amusement, confusion, and a hint of...fear?”
I felt bad for him instantly. I guess nobody actually did something nice for him like this.
Twilight, a purple unicorn stepped forward.
“His chaos is disrupting the peace of Equestria. He’s making ponies miserable!” She protested.
I sighed and said something that I never said before.

“Look, I get what your doing is for the good of this land or whatever, but it also isn’t good for him, either-”
“-One sacrifice is better than millions-” I ignored her and kept going.
“You’re learning the magic of friendship, right. Well, here’s a lesson from me. Empathy. Putting yourself in someone else’s shoes. How do you think Discord feels? How do think he felt back then? When he was turned to stone? Perhaps, he was a tyrant because he was in pain and was making ponykind feel the pain and suffering he went through. Then the princesses made it worse by trapping him in stone for a thousand years. So maybe Discord feels like shit and nobody even cared enough to even consider his feelings.”
I was actually crying angry tears by the time I finished my speech. I was breathing heavily. I looked at the Mane six. They were in shock. A couple were still processing what happened. Pinkie Pie was actually crying. Twilight then directed her attention to behind me.
“He’s gone.” she said.
I looked behind me. Twilight was right. Discord was nowhere to be seen.That’s when something really weird happened. All of the chaos that Discord caused disappeared. It was just gone in an instant. ALL of it.
I immediately thought the worst….

I have never ran so fast in my fucking life! My track coach would be proud. I frantically looked around for the lord of chaos. I was about to enter the Everfree forest when I was blinded by a flash of light for the second fucking time that day. I landed on my ass-again and groaned. I found myself in the castle of the two sisters.
I stood up and limped around to explore. It wasn’t even a minute until I felt arms wrapped around me. I tried to scream, but one arm had cupped my mouth. I then noticed that they felt different. One arm felt furry while the other felt scaly. Wait…
I flinched at the voice.
“Who are you?” Discord asked, uncovering my mouth.
I took a breath. I didn't have a pony name. So I told him the truth.
“I’m not from this world. I’m human, but got teleported here. My real name is Nikki. Nikki Finke. And I am a human as a pony.” I explained.
Discord rose a brow and let me go.
“I-” He stuttered.
He turned around and avoided my eyes.
“I-It was an accident…” He mumbled.
Now it was my turn to raise a brow.
“You mean you brought me to Equestria?” I asked in surprise.
He nodded. He granted my wish. I instantly loved him for that. So I asked Discord a question.
“All those things I said ...was I right?” I asked.
Discord turned around.
“Yes.” He mumbled.
I stared at him. This wasn’t the Discord I knew. I then got an idea of what would cheer him up.
“You know what? Let’s talk over some cotton candy and chocolate milk. I tried it and it actually tastes really good.” I told him.
Discord gave me a sad grin. Close enough. Discord then snapped his fingers and a table with chairs appeared along with a cotton candy cloud and some cups. I grabbed mine and held it up for the rain. After receiving the chocolate heaven, I drank it in one gulp after shoving a concerning large piece of cotton candy in my mouth.
We kinda just sat there for a little bit until Discord broke the silence.

“I was bullied.”
I looked up at him. I hated when I heard those three words.
“By who?” I asked.
“Everypony. There is a reason why I am the only draconequus.” Discord said.
I waited patiently for him to explain.
“Draconequui were like black people in your world. We were hated no matter what we did. Ponies hated us. They thought we were ugly. They thought we’d hurt them. We weren't even considered beings of chaos back then. We just had a different kind of magic.They only called it chaos magic because of me. Draconequui used their magic for everyday things while I did...well, chaos. That made the backlash worse for us. It drove the ponies to the limit. So they wiped my species out. I was the only one left. I even saw my parents die in front of me before I fled. It was horrible...Even after, I got harassed further. So eventually, I snapped and overthrew the government. I decided to make them feel my pain, as you said. The rest is history.”
Discord was in tears by the time he finished his story.
I then stopped thinking and went over to the poor draconequus and gave him a hug. He tensed up. He probably have never been hugged before. Poor thing. I felt Discord relax into the hug once he felt comfortable.
“So, the ponies seriously were racist to your species?!” I asked shocked at the ponies’ actions.
Discord sadly nodded.
“Celestia and Luna….they didn’t turn me to stone on their own accord. Their parents sent them to do it. Their parents filled their heads with lies about me and they abandoned me. They were my only friends before that. Sometimes they even hid me from harm. But when they abandoned me, that’s when I snapped and overthrew the government. That’s when they snapped and had to turn me to stone. I had never wanted another friend again after that.” He said.
I teared up at that and pulled away.
“Jeez, that’s awful. I’m so sorry you had to go through that.” I told him, putting a hoof on his shoulder.
Discord sniffled and smiled another sad grin.
“What’s done...is done.” He said as I seated myself once again.
“I can be your friend.” I found myself saying.
Discord looked up worried about something.
“What about your home?” he asked.
“I think I want to stay. I-It wasn't much of a good life back there anyways.” I replied.
Discord raised a brow.
“Oh? And why is that?” He asked.
“Neglection.” I said looking down.
Discord reached over and gently lifted my chin so I was looking into his red and yellow eyes.
“I guess we both don’t have nice childhoods, huh?” He said with a sad grin.
He then lifted his chocolate milk.
“To new friends and being outcasts.” He declared.
I smiled and lifted my glass and clanked mine against his.
“To outcasts and being friends.” I repeated.
We both took a long gulp of our drinks. After setting our glasses down, we ate some more cotton candy in silence. I then looked at Discord.
“Discord?” I asked.
Discord looked up at me with cotton candy on his face. I giggled at that and wiped his face. He blushed and said thanks.
“What were you going to say?” H asked.
“Just know I’ll be there for you. Maybe not physically sometimes, but know there isn’t really anything that could make me hate you.” I told him.
Discord smiled and pulled me into a hug.
“How did you know who I was when you saw me if you aren’t from this world?” He asked.
“Oh. Weeeeelll….Equestria is a TV show...called My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. You were a villain and got reformed-oh fuck…” I explained before realizing something.
I screwed up the timeline….

“What’s wrong?” Discord asked, concerned.
“This wasn’t supposed to happen!” I said.
“What WAS supposed to happen?” Discord asked.
I teared up at that. He’d hate to hear what I had to say. I sniffled.
“Come on. You can tell me.” Discord said going over to me and hugging me.
“The Mane six were successful at turning you to stone again. That’s why I saved you. I didn’t want you to suffer more.” I choked out.
Discord stroked my mane. He was surprisingly gentle. It felt nice.
“That’s….very sweet of you.” He said softly.
I sniffled again.
“You were still evil back then. But when you got turned to stone, your face was one of horror. It was sad. I didn’t want that,” I continued, “The problem is that I messed up the timeline by saving you. But I couldn’t help it, though. I couldn’t bear seeing that happening to you again. I knew that had your reasons. People aren't BORN evil. They just go down a dark path.”
I looked at him.
“Did I ever turn good?” Discord asked.
“You were trapped for at least a year before getting free again. Celestia wanted to reform you, so she put the Mane Six up to the task.” I answered.
Discord frowned at that and picked me up.
“Come on. Let’s go to Celestia. It’s time we ended this feud.” He said.
I nodded and unconsciously snuggled into his fur. This earned a chuckle from the draconequus.
“Don’t puke.” Discord said before teleporting us to Candarlot castle.
We arrived in the throne room, where the mane six and Celestia were panicking about Discord. Discord put me down by Twilight. They looked at me in concern.
“You found him?” Twilight asked in a whisper.
I nodded.
“My words affected him deeply. He was a mess. He told me his story. What happened. I-I was right. About everything.” I answered in a whisper.
Celestia stared at Discord as he sauntered up to her. The lord of chaos then did something ponies never thought they’d see. He bowed in front of the princess.
“I surrender.” He mumbled.
All of us stared at him wide eyed.
“What?” Rainbow Dash said.
“I give up. I-I realized what I did was wrong. So do to me as you please.” Discord said tearing up.
Celestia teared up as well and went to Discord.
Discord looked down. He couldn’t bear to look at his old friend in the eye.
“I thought I'd never see the old you again.” She choked out before pulling Discord into an embrace.
I could see Discord tense up in the hug. I sighed and went forward and joined the hug. Celestia pulled away. Discord stayed in my embrace. I could feel him shaking.
“Maybe we shouldn’t have come here.” I mumbled.
Discord was pretty much latched onto me and hiding behind me at the same time. Celestia frowned softly.
“Discord. I’m not going to hurt you. You feel remorse, yes?” The princess asked.
Discord just nodded slightly.
“Look, I want to help you, but I need you to work with me here. Let me in” Celestia said holding out a hoof for the depressed draconequus.
I put a hoof on Discord’s shoulder and rubbed circles on it in an effort to comfort him. Discord looked at me and shocked me by hiding his face in my chest. His ram horn and deer antler poked me a little. I felt tears on my chest as sniffles emitted from the poor draconequus. I just wrapped my arms around him to try to provide comfort.
Discord seemed to calm down and then looked at Celestia.
“Celestia?” He said.
“Yes, Discord.” Celestia asked.
“I want to be turned back to stone.” Discord said.

Everypony gasped. I knew that Discord felt bad, but I didn’t think it’d be so bad he wanted this punishment-again.
I stepped over to him.
“Discord, you don’t have to do this!” I said, terrified for him.
Discord looked at me.
“I have to. If I don’t, I’ll break the timeline. Plus….I kinda deserve it…” He explained with remorse.
Discord then turned to Celestia.
“I’m ready, Te-Te.” He said bowing his head.
I choked down a sob. I didn’t want to cry in front of everypony. I proceeded to go to Discord and hugged him from behind.
“I don’t care if the timeline is broken. I-I want to be your friend. I want to be there for you. I want to show you things that you never got to see and give you experiences you never got to have. I want to play pranks with you and share some humor. I like your weird antics. I don’t care about what you look like or what you’ve done in the past. I like who you are.” I said tearing up.
Discord turned to look at me and teared up. He picked me up over his back and hugged me as if I were his lifeline. I preceded to snuggle in his furry chest. I heard Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy make cooing sounds behind me.
I felt Discord shaking as I felt something wet on my coat. Tears.They were Discord’s tears. I hugged him tighter.
Celestia went over to us.
“Discord, let us help you. Please. I miss our friendship. My parents forced us to turn you to stone. We didn’t want to,” Celestia said gently, “ We care about you, Discord. Please just give us another chance.”
Discord glanced at Celestia and then back to me.
“I need time to think about it…” He murmured before picking me up.
I let out a surprised squeak.
“Wait-!” Celestia started.
But it was too late. Discord had already poofed us back to the Castle of the Two Sisters.
Meanwhile, with the girls (3rd POV)
The girls stared at the spot where Discord and Nikki used to be. A few were still processing what the hell just occured. Celestia was sobbing quietly. Twilight went to comfort the princess.
“Twilight,” She choked out, “There is a task I need you to do.”
“What is it, princess? I’ll do anything you ask.”
Princess smiled sadly.
“I’m in no state to rule right now. Some things from past came back to haunt me and I need to go on a journey.” Celestia said.
Twilight widened her eyes knowing where this is going.
“Twilight, I need you to watch Equestria for me.” Celestia.
A screech filled the throne room followed by a thud.

Back at the Castle of the Two Sisters
After we arrived at the castle, Discord had fled to another room. Why did he take me with him if he was going to be by himself?
I sighed as I lit a fireplace with a torch and curled up in front of it. It was freezing. I didn’t know why, it just was. The fireplace didn’t help much either. I was practically shivering. I managed to fall asleep after a little while. One thought invaded my mind though before I fell into a restless sleep.
What is Discord doing?
It was an hour and a half later by my estimate. It was nearly nightfall when I felt something wrap around my body. I looked up to see Discord trying to keep me warm. He appeared that he hasn’t noticed me awake yet. I snuggled into him.
This prompted Discord to glance at me. Noticing that I was awake, he picked me up and teleported me to a room. He sat me down on a loveseat and plopped down next to me. Neither of us knew what to say. The silence was tense. It was agonizing. Luckily, Discord broke it.
“Nikki...I'm sorry.” He mumbled.
“For what, Discord?” I asked, “You’re the one who has the depression.”
Discord teared up.
“F-for this…” He choked out before giving me a quick peck on the forehead and snapped his fingers.
For the third goddamn motherfucking time that day, I was blinded by light. I groaned as my eyes adjusted to my surroundings. I found myself in my bedroom. At my house. On earth.
I freaked out and then looked around. I noted that I was back to my human self after glancing in the mirror. I then looked around my room a little more only to step on something. I looked down to see my Discord plushie. I tear up and snatch it from the floor. I hugged the plushie tight to my chest. My hands then found paper taped to the plushie. I pulled away and took the paper off of the plushie.
It was a letter. I sigh and laid on my bed. I then began to read while holding my Discord plush close.
Dear Nikki,
You may be wondering why I sent you back to your home. I sent you back for several reasons. The main one was to fix Equestria’s timeline. I have to be back to stone. Especially now that I now know what I did was very wrong. I’m glad I found an understanding person like you. You are a pleasant presence. You opened my heart and eyes. I might feel more towards you than a friend. I don’t know. I’d love to spend time with you more. You’ve been wonderful to me since day 1. Having you would be too good to be true. But it is. I may be a lord of chaos, but even I know the limitations our worlds can have when it comes to the laws of time and space. I’m sorry It had to end this way. I really liked you. I just ask one thing of you, though, young Nikki. Live your life to the fullest in my sake. Don’t let your grief for me get you down. Just be happy for me. I love you.

I sobbed as I finished reading that. I dropped my plushie as one thought ran through my mind.
I was never going to see Discord again…
