The Big Decision
"Tyrannosaurus! How'd this happen to you?"
Rainbow asked as she looked over the broken leg.
"He got into an accident while hunting, and
Wounded his leg in the process." said Blue.
"Discord, think you can fix that up for him?"
"No problem my scaly friend, this a simple fix compared to your devil issues." Discord said before snapping his fingers and the leg was fixed at once. Blue stepped back so Rexy could stand and he found that there wasn't anymore pain on his leg.
"Thanks for the help Discord" Rexy said before walking off.
"Hey, where are you going brother?"
"I just need some alone time, brother. It's been a long day for me."
Everyone was transfixed at how down Rexy seemed, he never let anything get him so down or ever showed depression at any point in his whole life.
"What's gotten him so Blue?"
"I resent that, Discord!" Blue snapped baring her teeth a little.
"Oops, my bad. It's just that there hasn't been a day where I've seen him like this. How can a simple hunting accident make him lose his spirit?" Discord Questioned.
"I don't know buddy, but we're gonna figure it out" Indominus replied with concern for his brother.
"I might have a theory on how?" Rainbow said as she looked at Scootaloo.
"What?"
"We'll need to have a talk about this, Scootaloo. I've been silent about the matter for now, but if what I'm ofis the reason for Rexy's accident, then you'll have to make things right."
"What did i do? I didn't say anthing to him, Rumble was trying to agi-" Scootaloo's words dropped away as the words echoed through her brain.
"Uh huh. We're going to get this set straight. Indominus, I'll tell you after you guys get done with your night."
"Ok Rainbow." Indominus said as Rainbow walked towards another room with Scootaloo trailing behind her.
Applejack sighed "I hope that this does get sorted with Rexy."
"So do us all Applejack, so do we" Twilight said as she placed a hoof on Applejack's shoulder.
(In another room)
Rainbow Dash closes the door behind her and turns to face Scootaloo "Okay Scoots" She takes a seat on the table "This has gone enough. I want you talk to Rexy and get this whole thing sorted"
Scootaloo remains silent as she is thinking
"Scootaloo, please talk to me" Rainbow Dash said with a small hint of worry and anger in her voice.
Scootaloo turns and faces her big sister with fear and sadness, "Why would I want to have a special somepony that is too overprotective, that they have to know every single thing in your life?"
Rainbow gets shocked and starts to lose her cool "Why?, What do you have against Rexy being there for you?"
Scootaloo raises from her seat "BECAUSE HE'S TRYING TO MAKE ME HIS ITEM!"
"DON'T YOU DARE SAY THAT ABOUT THE ONE THAT'S BEEN THERE FOR YOU FROM YOUR ABUSIVE PARENTS ALL THE WAY TO NOW!!" Rainbow replies in anger over what she just heard.
"I can't believe you would say that, why?"
"You think it's easy, I find it hard every single day with being a teen. Especially now that I've developed these feelings for Rumble." She starts to well up in her eyes "I don't what to do anymore sis. I just...... I just..... I-" Collapses to the floor and cries til her eyes are reddened with sadness.
Rainbow sees the look of misery from her sister's eyes and rushes to her side, "Shh it's okay Scoots. It's okay." As hugs and strokes Scootaloo's mane for comfort.
Scootaloo wipes her eyes and looks up to Rainbow. "But, who do I love?"
"I know, follow me" Rainbow Dash rushes out the room with Scootaloo following behind her.
"Trust me Scoots, this will help you decide." She stops in front of a huge door and Scootaloo arrives breathless, she slowly opens the door and enters. "Come on Sis, this way to your answer."
Scootaloo enters the room with caution and curiosity "Um Rainbow Dash. What is this room, cause I've never seen it before?"
Rainbow stops midway and turns on the lights, that reveals a lot of photos and treasures. "This Scootaloo. Is the memory room, all the most important memories go in her. Like this trophy from the first time I became I Wonderbolt, this horn was from when we defeated Black Death and so many more."
"That is awesome! So which one is it you wanna show me? The Medals, the fight images no wait...... The statues!" She asks with excitement and flies in loops.
"Actually, I wanna show you this" Rainobow replies with a small photograph in her roof.
Scootaloo lands with disbelief "That's it? A small photo?" She takes it and looks at the frame.
"I don't get, why you looking at the frame? Look at the image."
Scootaloo does what she says and looks at the image. "Oh my Celsetia, when did you take this?" The image is of Scootaloo when she was a small filly, in a dress. And with her is the one that always looked after her, Rexy with a warm smile.
"Do you remember that day?" Rainbow Dash asks with a cute smile that Indominus would have a anime nose bleed.
"How could I forget. That was day when the dinosaurs could speak" She replies with tears of happiness in her eyes and takes a moment to remember.
(Flashback to the first Gala they spoke)
"R-R-R-Rainbow..Dash."
S-S-Scotaloo."
"We love you both so much."
Rainbow and Scootaloo's eyes shrunk at what they heard. The dinosaurs had just spoke, "BOYS!! YOU'RE TALKING!! YOU'RE TALKKNG!!" Scootaloo ran up and hugged T-Rex's face in tears of happiness and shear joy "Did you really mean that Tyrannosaurus?"
"Of course I did Scootaloo. Every moment we've spent together has made me realize how precious you are to me."
(Back to real time)
Those words, just those heartfelt words echoed a few times in Scootaloo's head as she stared at Rainbow. "Oh Rainbow Dash, what have I done?"
Rainbow walked and ruffled Scoots mane "It's okay sis, sometimes we just need a reminder on things. Believe me I know." And hugs her.
Scootaloo smiles and tucks her head into her adoptive sister's chest and cries softly. "So what now?"
"Well I have just one more question to ask you and I want your honest answer." She gets up and stands back.
Scootaloo stands up and looks right into Rainbow's eyes. "Go for it."
"Who do you love? Rumble? Or Rexy?"
Scootaloo didn't need thinking about it, she knew just what to say. "The one that has always been there for me and always will be, no matter what. I live Rexy"
Rainbow smiled and said in a proud voice. "Now get and get your Kingof the dinosaurs."
"I will and thank you sister." Scootaloo replied in a jolly voice and flew off as fast as she can to find the one that made her so happy.
Many hours had past and Scootaloo still hasn't found Rexy, she was beginning to worry and wonder if he has left Equestria.... For good? "Where are you Rexy?" Suddenly she bumped into a stallion that had lightship gray coat and a mane with two shades of dark grayish sapphire blue.
"Hey Scootaloo, I've been looking for you." He said with a cool voice.
Scootaloo got up and said "Hey Rumble, what do you want? I'm a bit busy."
Rumble blushed with a hoof rubbing the back of his neck "Well, I was wondering if you, maybe I don't know. Catch a Trixie show or, go out for dinner. Maybe have a dance?" He smiled at her waiting fit the response he wanted "Now you'll see Mr. Big and handsome, she will want me and not you."
"Sorry Rumble, but I have someone else that I love." She replied with some serious and mature in her voice.
"Wait, you mean you actually want that old dinosaur who's no longer in his prime." He said with confusion and rage.
Scootaloo hoof slapped him so hard that his cheek went red "Yes I do, he may not be in his prime anymore. But he never give up on what he tries unlike some stallions I know, so do me a favour and stay away from me and Rexy and Move on!" She flew off to continue her search. As soon as she left, Rumble got up and rubbed the cheek. "Just you wait Rexy, one day I will find a way."
At the end of the Everfree Forest was Rexy just sitting there on a ledge looking over his brother's kingdom. "I wish I had a chance to make it up to you Scoots, but. That'll never happen because you love Rumble and I'm-" he sighs in defeat and sadness. "I'm just an old stupid T-Rex with no one now." Rexy starts to sing a sad song with tears in his eyes.

At the last part he bellows out a roar of sadness and cries his heart and soul out. Just as the song finishes a voice from behind him says "Rexy?" He turns and is suprised to see that it's the pony he is so in love with. But look away in sadness.
"May I, sit with you?" Scootaloo asks him. He slowly nods his head and she sits beside him.
"Look Scoots, I have something to say. So please let me speak before you say whatever you have to say okay?" He asks her with tears still streaming down his cheeks. Scootaloo wanted to speak first but agrees and stays silent.
Rexy takes a deep breath and begins to say his part " Look first off I wanna say I'm so sorry for being well, overprotective with Rumble. It wasn't because you weren't an item, I just didn't want to lose you cause. It's always been you Scootaloo. Your soft mane against my cheeks, your lips make me so warm when you kiss me, your beautiful eyes that remind me of sweet lavender and. Your personality is so great, I love you with my heart and soul." There's a small moment of silence between and Scootaloo is starting to well up from how much he's been hurting and how much she means to him.
"I completely understand if you want to be Rumbke, because you deserve a young and handsome stallion that can look after you, not an stupid old dinosaur that is too old and can't protect you. That's all I wanted to say." He wipes some tears off with his tail and looks at her.
"Rexy, that..... was the most beautiful and sweetest thing anypony has said to me." She hugs him and to her delight Rexy hugs her in return.
"Listen Rexy, I know I have been so difficult recently. But I don't want to be with Rumble, I understand he was trying to agitate you and make me get of rid of you. But thanks to all our friends and family, I realize that I wanna be with you."
"You do?" Rexy asks in confusion she nods her head in response.
"Yes Rexy, because you have always been there to look after me and care for me, from my parents. To Black Death and now. I love you Rexy with all my heart and soul. So please, stay with me."
Rexy isn't crying from sadness, he's crying of sheer joy and responds with great joy. "Yes Scootaloo, I will stay with you." They both nuzzle each other's with love and affection. As they pull away with blushes on their cheeks, shooting stars zoom over them. Rexy looks at Scootaloo "Hey Scoots?"
"Yes Rexy?"
"Could we stay here for the night? It's so beautiful. Just like the one I love." He asks with a warm smile and she smiles in return.
"Yes Rexy, it's just like falling in live all over again." She kisses full on the lips. Rexy blushes so red that he's almost like a rose, but relaxes and kisses back. After 20 minutes they pulls gently and lay down with Scootaloo resting her head against his face
Rexy smiles and winks at her
"Good night Rexy" after that she calmly falls asleep with Rexy wrapping his tail around her to keep her comfy.
Rexy looks down and smiles "Good night, my little Scootaloo." He rests his head on the soft green grass and falls asleep and the two have become one. With the moon shining down and stars sparkling. The love of Scootaloo and Rexy, will never be separated once again.
