> Hot Heads > by Jhoira > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Warm Bodies > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The bang echoed through the locker room as Rainbow Dash slammed Trixie’s back into the locker behind her. Red-faced and panting from her exertion Rainbow Dash glared at the still smirking girl. “Call me that again you second rate point guard!” “What’s the matter? Did you already forget? Are you that stupid as well as skilless? Trixie thought you were good at sports!” Trixie was also red-faced as the two went at each other. “Better than you! Little miss miss both your free throws! I swear if I chose the teams you’d be off of it in a second!” Rainbow Dash still couldn’t believe the other girl managed to miss two free throws. Trixie rolled her eyes and stuck out her tongue. “Yeah? Wanna see what principal Celestia thinks of my performance? Shall we also bring up your assault on Trixie’s personage? Wonder how long that will land you in detention!” “We can also mention your homophobia to her! Wanna see how long you’ll be right beside me!?” Rainbow Dash tightened her grip on the other girl's shirt, her knuckles whitening as she clenched her fists. “You’d like that! You’d spend the entire time staring at Trixie’s ass!” Trixie frowned and reach down pushing against Rainbow Dash, this was getting uncomfortable and she wanted down. “Shows what you know! I’m more of a tits girl! And there you don’t have much to speak of.” She grinned as she brought her face up closer to Trixie’s and said quietly. “Though you do have a nice ass.” “Get your lecherous hands off Trixie!”Though the landed punch wasn’t nearly enough to actually force Rainbow Dash back, she did let go of the other girl. “Trixie is not some degenerate...” “Don’t you dare say it!” Rainbow Dash thrust her finger into the other girl's face, glaring daggers at the magician, waiting for her to cross that line... The argument was interrupted by someone else though. "Really!? Do you two have to do this every time we lose!?" The rest of the team and cheerleaders were ignoring the two having their little melodrama but Applejack was always the one to try and break them up. To the team's credit, they did try to help the first few times but then they just gave up and let the two have their little fight, they'd be mad at each other for a day then pretend nothing ever happened. The two fuming girls looked over at the interrupter, glaring at her, but the hands on her hips obviously showed that Applejack wasn't about to back down. That was until a slender hand from the head cheerleader rested on her shoulder. "Darling, let them be." Applejack frowned over her shoulder at Rarity who smiled at her. "Come on darling, I do believe that we have a 'date' don't we?" Applejack frowned a little at her girlfriend, they didn't have a date. "Rarity wh..." Rarity leaned in, grinning as she said again. "A 'date' darling." Applejack flushed gently, biting her bottom lip and glancing back at the two fighters who had gone back to snapping at each other while Applejack was distracted. Hesitating a moment before she sighed, grumbling a little. It was obvious that Rarity was luring her away, but it was a dang good lure. "Yeah, a 'date.'" Applejack picked up her bag and Rarity's easily as she headed for the door. "That was low Rarity." She called over her shoulder to the two still fighting. "Just don't kill each other!" Rarity giggled happily as she clapped at getting her own way, and Applejack was carrying her bag for her! She turned, giving a small wave and a wink to the last two girls in the locker room before skipping out after her girlfriend. Both Trixie and Rainbow Dash ignored the other girls as they continued their fight, sniping at each other over everything from choice in clothes, their performance in athletics to the other's dating history. Applejack grumbled quietly as she sat in the front of Rarity's car. "This isn't exactly what I thought you meant when you said 'date,' Rarity." Rarity giggled gently from her place on Applejack's lap, batting her eyelashes back at her girlfriend. "Aren't I pretty enough to 'satisfy' you with just my presence, darling?" Rolling her eyes Applejack shook her head a little, chortling and pulled her girl a little closer to her. "You know exactly what you did, sugar cube. And it was a low blow. Why'd you want me to let them keep fighting so much?" Rarity let out a small meep as she was gently squished by her strong farmer girl. "Not so hard, darling." Letting out a small sigh as Applejack let up a bit she continued. "And I told you they need to work through their feelings for each other on their own. Interfering will just make it take longer." Applejack rolled her eyes. "Oh, not this again Rarity! Trixie isn't even gay! And Rainbow Dash isn't gonna be interested in someone who she fights with constantly!" Rarity grinned, turning around as best she could in the car and cooing to the other girl. "Trust me, darling, I see these things. I told you that Sunset was barking up the wrong tree with Twilight, didn't I? That girl is as straight as the day is long." Applejack rolled her eyes. "Fine, you were right in that one instance, but reall.." Rarity grinned as she started to tick off fingers. "And I said that Muffins and Bulk were dating like, two weeks before they told everyone. And then there was Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich. And..." "Ok, ok! Sheesh, you don't need to be such a show-off Rarity." Despite the roll of the eyes, Applejack grinned down at her girlfriend. Rarity would have answered only to be distracted by the flash of light from the opening door in the dimming evening light. She turned quickly to see Rainbow Dash step out. This was the moment Rarity had been waiting for, raising a finger to her lips. "Shh!" Rainbow Dash made a point of looking about before she turned her head back to the doorway, saying something that was obviously out of earshot. A few moments later Trixie walked out next to her, straightening her skirt self consciously and looking around. After a short exchange between the two, Trixie leaned up, planting a kiss on Rainbow Dash's cheek before she ran off to her car. Rainbow Dash took a more measured step. Walking towards her own car in her usual unconcerned way before the two drove off. The silence was broken by Applejack. "You're freaking kidding me..." Rarity giggled as she slid over back into the driver's seat herself. "I told you, I'm always right, dear." She started up the car, giving Applejack her best grin. "Now, I do believe we have a 'date' to get to."
