Chapter 1: Having Enough
Several months have passed since the Dazzlings have lost the Battle of the Bands and were reduced to normal human beings when their pendents were shattered after the Rainbooms sang the counter-spell song and freed everyone from their spell. Since then, the Dazzlings were trying to adapt to their new lives as normal humans without their magic but it was a bit hard. Eventually though, they started a new music career with only one song to raise money to make a living since they could no longer use magic to get what they want. They go around the eastern side of the world and sing their only song to a large audience everywhere to make their living.
However, the leader, Adagio Dazzle was starting to slowly growing tired of living this way. She still wants to have her pendent repaired and extract her revenge on the Rainbooms for destroying her pendent and ruining her plans to rule this entire human world with an iron-fist and dark magic and possibly even finding a way back to Equestria and get her revenge on Starswirl the Bearded for banishing her here so long ago. Each day, her anger was getting worse. Whenever she wasn't singing on stage with her two companions, she would often sit in their tour bus, plotting her revenge and trying to come up with ways to fix her pendent, which she now keeps in a small grey case box with a red jewel on it.
As of right now, she was inside the tour bus with her two lackeys Sonata Dusk and Aria Blaze. Adagio was surprised she have even kept them with her, especially since she have always saw them as nothing more than mere pawns that were worthless to her. Now, it have been only a few nights since the Starswirl festival. From what Adagio have heard it have turned out that it was those two girls Kiwi Lollipop and Supernova Zap, also known as the Post-Crush were the real culprits behind the time-loop thing that Sunset Shimmer have accused her and the other two Dazzlings about. She also heard that Sunset has managed to stop the time loop by destroying the magical device the Post-Crush have used to redo the day of the Starswirl festival over and over again until their own show was perfect.
While Adagio and her so-called minions haven't been the ones responsible for the time-loop incident, Adagio knew the time-loop device could have been the perfect tool to redo the night the Rainbooms have shattered her pendent and prevented them from doing so and win the Battle of the Bands if she wanted to and if it was possible, but it was too late for that now, but she wasn't about to give up trying to find Equestrian magic to fix her pendent so she can get her revenge on the Rainbooms, especially Sunset.
"One day Rainbooms, you will all pay!" Adagio thought bitterly.
She was certainly sitting in the same chair she always sits in each time she tries to come up with a plan for her pendent restoration and revenge on Sunset and her friends. She sighs as she looks at the case box with the shattered pieces of her pendent inside.
"Sonata! The toaster oven is on fire!" Aria suddenly shouted.
Adagio's thoughts were interrupted by Aria's shout. She got up and places the case box on the table before rushing into the small kitchen and saw the flamming toaster oven.
"Sonata what did you do?!" she demanded angrily.
"I didn't mean for this to happen!" Sonata panicked. "But I'll put it out!"
The blue girl grabs the fire extinguisher and shoots it at the toaster oven, it took awhile but the fire was finally put out.
Adagio was angry, no, furious, about what have just happened in the little kitchen on their tour bus. She gives Sonata a real cold, not-so-good, angry glare.
"Now Sonata, tell me what happened!" she demanded.
"T-The toaster oven was on fire." Sonata said with a small, scared voice.
"I know it was on fire! How did it get on fire?!" Adagio growled through gritted teeth.
"I-I was trying to cook tacos in the toaster, but I guess that's when it suddenly bursted into flames." Sonata answered timidly.
This made Adagio even angrier. Her face was blushing furiously red. She glares at the frightened blue air-headed girl harder.
"Sonata, how many times must I have to tell you, you don't put tacos in toasters! They catch fire easily that way!" she said harshly.
"Oh, why, I'm sorry." Sonata replied in the same small voice.
"You really are the worst Sonata!" Aria said in a dry tone.
"No! You are!" Sonata argued, glaring back.
"Zip it you two!" Adagio snapped before glaring at Aria furiously. "Well, you obviously didn't do anything to stop her, did you?"
The purple girl turns towards the angry orange-puffed haired girl with an emotionless look.
"Well, I did tried to tell her NOT to put her stupid tacos in the toaster but she just wouldn't listen and putted them in there anyway, thus starting the fire." she said plainly.
Adagio growled in pure anger. She had put up with Aria's nasty attitude and Sonata's stupidly for years, but this was the last straw, she have had it with them, she wanted to leave them for good. Adagio really hates them so much, she regrets having them as minions. It was very surprising for her to have keep them around her for so long. But now she wanted to get away from them once and for all, but first she was going to have some words with them, words that weren't friendly. She gives the both of them a glare so hateful and spiteful.
"This is the last time I'd put up with you idiots!" she said in a flat voice.
"Huh?" Both Sonata and Aria pondered together.
"For many years, I had to put up with you and your behaviors! Aria, your complaining, and Sonata, your childish ways!" Adagio sneered coldly. "But now, I have had enough of it!"
She sighs heavily, but her anger was worsening by the minute.
"When I first met you two and gotten you to follow me as my minions, I have expected you both to obey my orders without questioning or messing things up, but NO, you always had to complain Aria, and Sonata you couldn't do anything right!" she continued. "Back when we were inflicting Equestria with our singing and magic, you two always find a way to mess things up, which have eventually led the three of us being banished here by Starswirl the Bearded! And when we were enslaving Canterlot High with our magic months ago, you two girls have messed up big time by complaining or stupidly focussing on Taco Tuesday! If you two have follow my orders and doing everything right then, we would have won the Battle of the Bands and destroy the Rainbooms! But as usual, you both have led us to our fall, and the Rainbooms have destroyed our pendents because of it! And also, I hate that we are reduced to only one song now and having to live like normal human beings with no magic or what so ever! I HATE LIVING AS A STUPID POWERLESS HUMAN THAT CAN ONLY SING ONE ANNOYING SONG!"
Sonata was begining to tear up as Aria glares at Adagio.
"You two are the WORST minions I could ever have! Now, I am getting out of here!" The orange puffy haired girl shouted as she went and pick up the case box with her shattered pendent in before going out the door. "You both are on your own now."
"Adagio..." Aria starts.
"No!" Adagio cut her off.
"Adagio please!" Sonata begged.
"NO!" Adagio shouted at the blue girl. "I'm so done with you and Aria! What part of it do you not understand Sonata?"
"But if you just please listen-!" Sonata tried again.
"No, I'm not listening!" Adagio cut her off. "I am done with you both, and that's final! Now, goodbye." Adagio then leaves with the case box with her, closing the door behind her.
With Adagio gone, Sonata starts crying loudly while Aria was a bit shocked with what have just happened.
