Chapter 1: True Love
They were atleast 21 years of age, and had spent their last years of school together, he had helped her get her mark, and she had loved him ever since, but nothing was ever said, out of fear that she would scare him away, when really it would have just brought them closer. These are their lives.
"Hey, Sweetie Belle, you ok there, you seem uncomfortable…" The voice, clearly male, spoke to the white mare with a soothing tone. His own white mane blended together seemlessly with her own coat, but his gray kept the two bodies from being mistaken as one. His eyes, deep blue, were focused onto one thing.
"Yeah, I'm alright, it's just this seating position. Did you think we could adjust our position, BassBoom?" She asked.
"Sure, that's ok!" He said as they got up. They had been lying down together in an awkward position, and Sweetie Belle had gotten uncomfortable earlier on, but didn't want to say anything. "Here, let me just… Oh, right." He continued, lying down next to her. "You're ok now?" He asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine now, Goodnight, Boom…" She trailed off, before drifting off to sleep.
"Goodnight, Sweetie Belle." He said quietly. He slowly fell asleep after her, but he dreamt of nothing but being with her.
~*The Next Morning*~
He had woken up next to her, still resting beside the mare of his dreams. From the usual motions that come with sleep, they had repositioned, as he now stared into beautiful green eyes.
"Sweetie Belle, you look beautiful today, but then again, you always look beautiful~" He said.
"Thanks, you look great too, Boom. I love you." She said as Boom gave one of his trademark sighs of contempt.
"You don't have to say that, Sweetie Belle, we're just really close friends." He said quietly
"No, Boom, I want to say it…" She trailed off before kissing his cheek.
He blushed, and smiled. "Well, Sweetie Belle, I love you too." He said before kissing her at the base of her horn.
She giggled. "Boom, are you sure that you want to be kissing there? It's sensitive…" She trailed of before giggling again.
"Hmm… Yeah, I do." He whispered before planting soft kisses at the base of her horn. He smiled then hugged the mare that he holds dear to him. "And I know that I'd never let anything bad happen to you, or ever try to hurt you."
"Thanks, Boom, you make me feel so loved, I mean, me and my sister, we're fine and all, but… She's so busy all the time! We never get to spend time together! It makes me so sad. Unloved, I know it's just cause she works and all, but still it wouldn't hurt to play with her sister or at least let her help around the shop!" Sweetie Belle exclaimed.
"Sweetie Belle, it's ok, I'm here for you." He consoled, before planting a few more kisses on the base of her horn, he knew that it cheers her up. "And remember this, I'll always be here for you. If I'm not here, you know the first thing on my mind is you, Sweetie."
"Thanks, Boom, at least you care…" She trailed off before wiping her eyes. "I'm so glad that you watch out for me, I mean, I didn't get my cutie mark until my third year of school. You got yours before me, but you stayed loyal to me, and for that, I'm grateful. I love you, Boom, and not much can change that." She continued.
"Sweetie Belle, do you want some time for yourself? Or do you want me to stay? Just tell me…" He asked quietly.
"I'd love you to stay, Boom, I want you to stay. I just need some time with you, more time." She replied.
"Of course I'll stay, Sweetie, I'm here for you…" He trailed off before putting his hooves around her in an embrace. "You'll be alright, won't you? Cause I can help you…"
"I'm sure I'll be fine, I just need you here right now…" She replied, then planted a kiss on his nose. He always loved when she did that, just as she loved when he kissed the base of her horn. "Now, let's just lie down together, we don't need to do anything today…"
"Ok, sounds good…" He trailed off and kept the embrace. "Sweetie Belle, I have an idea… Do just as I do…"
He placed his mouth over hers and kissed, and she did as he instructed. They kept together until they needed to stop for air. After they got their air, Sweetie Belle would blush, and Boom would chuckle. They continued to kiss before Boom stopped her.
"You did great, Sweetie, now, this time, we're going to put our tongues in each other's mouth, and they're going to do a tackle dance type thing, it's not too easy to explain, but it's fairly straightforward, actually." He said.
They kissed again, but this time Boom poked at Sweetie's lips with his tongue, and she gladly opened her mouth. Their tongues danced around for a bit, and then stopped for air.
"Sweetie, you… You're magic, I love you." He panted. His blue eyes were closing slightly. "I hope nothing bad happens, I can't live without you..." He trailed off
"Boom, you're amazing, why didn't we do this before, or last night, oh well, who cares, we're together now, and we'll never be split apart." She said, and smiled as she spoke. "Especially next year, we'll really belong to each other, if you get my meaning..." She trailed of and closed her eyes.
"I get you, now, how about we have a nap?" He asked. "I mean, it's not like there's much going today, anyway."
"Good idea, Boom, I love you, nothing will ever tear us apart." She replied softly, her voice had a seducing tone to it. "Have a good sleep..."
"You too, Sweetie…" He trailed off before falling asleep.
~*They had woken up about an hour later, and climbed out of bed.*~
"Sweetie, I'm going to go the market, did you want anything while I'm there?" He asked
"Uh, perhaps some apples? I'm not sure, I guess some golden delicious. She said quietly.
"No problem!" He smiled widely.
