The skylanders made it to the Mesozoic Era and continue their journey.
Continuing on from Skylanders Fusionators, Spyro, Cynder, Sparx, Spike, Jonathan, Michael, Saivon, Luke, Discord, Garble, Ember, Fume, Clump, Fizzle, Baff, Vex, Prominence, Barry, and Grimlock have made it to the end of Convexity. Even the portal to a world full of dinosaurs. Now they must journey in this world to help the child, Shiny Pteranodon with her problems. Can they find out what's wrong with her, or will they be on the next train ride through her stomach?
Since Dinosaur Train is also based on Reality, the Slice of Life tab will be displayed by reading the story. Please note that some characters from the show will be appearing in this story from A to Z. The chapters may be based on the characters names, species, or by stations. Please also side note that Shiny is the "main" character of the Dinosaur Train series. The first chapter is "Pteranodon Terrace."
Shiny Pteranodon was sitting on a log in depression with her right hand on her face. Not only was she depressed, but she was also sad. She remembered what happened a little while ago that she was admiring her shell collection, then suddenly, something took control of her, made her fly up to her nest, snatch her sister Tiny's Tiny Doll, and nearly tried to break it. The only thing that snapped her out of it was when she heard Tiny shout "please" in sadness. Then, she flew away from the nest while her Pteranodon brother, Don, and her Tyrannosaurus Rex brother, Buddy tried to comfort Tiny while she was crying. Shiny found a log, and sat in it like she placed herself in time-out. Her mother, Tahlia Pteranodon asked her why she tried to break her sister's favorite Tiny Doll. Shiny told her mom that she didn't know why, but told her that something took control of her. Something... from deep within her mind. Tahlia understood that Shiny knew that Tiny's Tiny Doll was very important to her just like their friends the Lambeosaurus family, and other families they were friends with.
Shiny took her hand off and turned her head a little to the right, and positioned her eyes to the right as well as she looked back at the nest. Her mother was talking to her father, Peter Pteranodon, while her brothers were holding onto Tiny's shoulders while she cried and hugged dearly to her doll. Seeing Tiny crying was starting to make Shiny shed a tear from her right eye. She wiped it off, but while she did that, she took notice she could hear what all of them were saying. First, she could hear her parents talking easily because they were somewhat in range.
(Tahlia and Peter Pteranodon) "So, did Shiny tell you her side of her story, Tahlia?" Peter asked.
"I did, but, I think I believe her," Tahlia answered.
"How so?" Peter asked... again.
"Well, for starters, we know that Shiny knows that Tiny's Tiny Doll is very important to her, right?" She asked.
"Indeed. That's the truth," he answered.
"But Shiny told me that she was just minding her own business by admiring her shells, then she said that something within her has taken control of her.. both mind and body," Tahlia explained.
"Well... that's kinda odd," he replied.
"I know. But she has to be telling the truth. Wait, what if we take her to see a doctor? They might know what's going on with our baby. We can even take the Dinosaur Train to Troodon Town for our family to have fun," Tahlia finished.
Shiny smiled knowing that her mother believed her and cared for her.
"You sure, honey? I mean, Tiny is still crying," Peter whispered with his left hand on the right side of his beak. Despite the fact that her father was whispering, Shiny could hear it loud and clear even if she was a few inches from her parents.
Then, Shiny looked at the nest where Buddy and Don were trying to comfort Tiny like brothers would do. Shiny, after discovering that she could hear things from afar, placed her right hand close to her ear as she starts to hear what her siblings were starting to talk about after Tiny calmed down a little.

"There, there, Tiny, it's alright," Don said to try and cheer his sister up.
"Alright? How can it be alright? Shiny nearly broke my favorite Tiny Doll into pieces, Don!" Tiny shouted in a whispered tone that their parents could barely hear. Except for Shiny, who somehow has a superpower, totally heard what her sister said and placed her hands on her eyes as she remembered that part of her memory.
"But Tiny, maybe there's a reason why Shiny would try to break your toy," Buddy said to Tiny.
"Please don't say "good reason," please don't say "good reason!" Shiny begged within her mind as she kept her hands on her eyes.
"There better be a "good" reason for it, because I'm still mad," Tiny said with venom in her words.
"Damn it!" Shiny whispered and then covered the pointed part of her mouth. "Did... Did I just say a bad word?" Shiny asked herself as she pointed her eyes at the end of her beak.
"Well... no. There's no reason I could think of. Maybe you can ask Shiny why she did it?" Buddy asked.
"I'd rather eat a bug than talk to her," Tiny said.
"Really? No wait. That's a figure of speech," Don said as he pointed his right thumb on the bottom of his beak.
Shiny sighed as she clearly heard what her sister said.
"Kids! Who's ready to go ride the Dinosaur Train just for fun?" Tahlia asked as she landed in the nest with her wings spread out. Shiny heard what her mother said and hope filled her heart as she started to smile wildly as she will soon get her answers. The three siblings jumped up and down as they cheered for their love for riding the train through different time periods. Tahlia flew out of the nest and back onto the ground and started walking over to Shiny.
Shiny flew off the log in hyper speed and started to fly over to her mom to spare her the long walk.
"Let me guess, Dinosaur Train, and family bonding time?" Shiny asked.
"Uh, yes. How did you know?" Tahlia asked.
"Let's just call it a lucky guess," Shiny said sheepishly as she tried to hide her newfound power.
"Well, okay then, let's all go ride-" Tahlia said before she was interrupted by a weird sound. Tahlia figured it came from the beach, so she ran to the edge of the cliff and looked down, saw nothing but sand and bodies laying down on the sand. Then, with a short pause of looking around, she widen her eyes and looked back to her left. Then, she started to shriek. "Braaaw! Kids! Peter!" She yelled as she held her left hand on the left side of her beak. Buddy, Tiny, and Don ran to their mother's right while Peter and Shiny ran up on her left. They all looked at what she was looking at - unconscious bodies in sand.
"Are they... dead?" Tiny asked while holding onto her mom.
"I don't know sweetie. But we should probably help them," she said. The others agreed and flew down there while Tiny and Don carried Buddy. When they were flying down to the beach, they saw Larry and his family down there at the bodies. Peter flew past Tahlia and landed in front of Larry with her and the kids landing from behind him.
"Larry, what did you do these poor creatures?" Peter asked Larry as he pointed his right finger.
"Oh, wha- Now, just hold on for just a minute, Peter, we didn't do this. We just came to see what the commotion was. When we got here, we found these bodies on YOUR side. Not ours. So, in this case, what did YOU did to these poor creatures?" Larry retaliated by asking Peter about the bodies on "their" beach.
"What? Why I ought to-" Peter said while he brought his hand up into the air like a fist until he was interrupted by his wife.
"Wait, you two. Do either of you really think that one of you could've done this? Last time I checked, we're Pterosaurs and Hadrosaurs. We can only eat fish while you eat plants. So, they must have come from way out in the oceans," Tahlia suggested as she waved both her arms over to the ocean. The two different neighboring husbands look out into the ocean.
"Well, I guess you're right, Tahlia. None of us could have done this," Larry complied.
"Yeah. But maybe we should bring these guys to Troodon Town and see what they are," Peter added. "Do you and your family mind helping us with these bodies?" Peter asked with his right thumb pointing at the bodies.
"Sure. But, are they dead?" Larry asked as he looked at the bodies. "Including, *gulps* that big guy?" He asked while being terrified at the same time as being curious at the giant green, black, and grey body with hard skin.
"Let me check," Don said as he walked over to the green creature with a black shirt.
"Be careful, Don," Tahlia said with her left hand at her beak.
Don looked around to see if he could find a way to check his heart. So, he looks down at the creature's left arm, and lifts it up to check its heartbeat. He heard it. "He's breathing," Don said. Everyone started to smile. Then, Don saw something at the end of the creature's arm and decided to find out what it was until he saw long, sharp, black-hued claws.
Everyone saw how long and sharps those claws were and started gasping. Then, Don widens his eyes as the creature's arm started to move on its own. Especially out of Don's hands. The creature started yawning and revealing its pointy teeth. Don grabbed a medium sized rock on his left in the sand and raised it as high as he could. Then, he jumped into the air and bonked the creature on top of his head.
"Don!" Everyone yelled at Don.
"What? You saw how sharp those claws and teeth were," he said.
Everyone agreed and then they grabbed the ones that didn't look like the creature that Don bonked out cold. Then, they came back and pushed the giant creature through the landscape until they were at the train station. They got their tickets and waited for the Dinosaur Train. Then, after waiting a long time, the Dinosaur Train appeared from a Time Tunnel and stopped at the train station. Next, their friend, Mr. Conductor the Troodon, came out of the passenger car.
"Why hello there, Pteranodon Family and Lambeosaurus Family," he said politely.
"Hellooo, Mr. Conductor," the kids said except for Shiny, who just rubbed her left arm while looking down at her right. The conductor noticed it, but then he looked up and saw bodies behind the two families.
"BLESS MY SCALES AND FEATHERS! What happened to them?!" He shouted as he placed his hands on both sides of his face.
"We just found them this way, Mr. The Conductor," Don explained.
"Well, let's get them on the train, then," Mr. Conductor said in agreement with Mr. The Don.
"But where are we going to put them?" Buddy asked.
"Well, that's easy, my "Buddy," the Patient Cars," the conductor said as he pointed his left thumb at the back of the train and the others saw what looked like the Nursery Car, but much longer. Then, after getting most of the creatures into one of the cars, they all had trouble trying to fit the giant one in. "Whyyyy, does this one have to be so big, ungh, and heavy?" He said as he and the others were straining to put the big guy in. Then, another familiar face appeared.
"May I offer assistance, Mr. Conductor?" Laura Giganotosaurus asked. Next, the conductor smiled. Which gave her the "OK." Then, a few seconds later, Laura placed her arms under the torso of the giant creature. Next, she used her Giganotosaurus might to lift him up a little, then caught him with her head. Finally, she grabbed his back with her tail and pulled him into the second Patient Car. Next, she went back to her Observation Car.
"Thank you, Laura," he said as he tipped his hat to her. "Now... All aboard!" He yells aloud with his right hand.
Later on, the train was heading left and into a time tunnel.
The Pteranodon Family and the Lambeosaurus Family were all sitting in the Passenger Car. Shiny sat in the front of the Passenger Car with her mom sitting on her right, and her dad sitting on her left. Larry and his wife sat behind; Larry behind Peter and his wife behind Tahlia. The kids were sitting on the right side of the Passenger Car. Tiny sat in the middle with Don on her right and Buddy on her left. Leroy sat behind Don while his little sister, Lily, sat behind Buddy. Not to mention that Tiny brought her Tiny Doll along with her to make sure it was safe from her evil sister, Shiny. She moved her eyes over at Shiny, which said Pteranodon started taking notice of Tiny looking at her. She smiled sheepishly and waved hi with her left hand. Tiny glared at her and turned her head back straight and gave out a big "hmph" which the entire Pteranodon Family and Lambeosaurus Family took notice. Even the conductor took notice.
Shiny gave out a deep sigh and then looks at her mother. "Mom, can I please go visit Laura in the Observation Car?" Shiny asked politely despite being sad.
Tahlia saw this and knew why. Because she didn't want to make her sister more madder than ever. Even, though, it wasn't really Shiny's fault. "Sure, honey. I think Laura wouldn't mind. Maybe you can help her find her some birds to draw into her sketchbook," she said to probably hope to cheer her up.
"Thanks, Mom," Shiny said. Next, she hopped off her seat, and then started walking to the other side of the car. Gilbert, the conductor's nephew, came in from where Shiny was about to go. Shiny, however, didn't widen her eyes like she usually would do when seeing Gilbert.
"Oh! Hi, Shiny! How are you?" Gilbert said as said hello to one of his closest friends.
"Oh. Hi, Gilbert. I'm good. Just going to see Laura. Bye, Gilbert," she said sadly. Then, she walked past Gilbert's left and closed the door.
"Uh? Bye?" He said with his left paw. Then he turned to his right and walked to the front of the Passenger Car. "Hey, Uncle, what's going on with Shiny? She's usually happy to see me," Gilbert said.
"I know, Gilbert. Even I witnessed it when she was rubbing her arm instead of saying hi to me back at the train station," Mr. Conductor said.
"I bet she's still upset that she nearly broke Tiny's Tiny Doll into pieces," Buddy said.
"What? That's not the Shiny I know," Gilbert said.
"It's true, Gilbert, Shiny really almost tried to destroy Tiny's Tiny Doll. Me and Buddy even saw the whole thing when we were playing Dinoball," Don commented with what Buddy said.
"Buddy, Don, you two know that Shiny would never do such a thing," Tahlia said while her hands were firmly planted on the seat.
"Then why did she-," Tiny started until her mother interrupted her.
"Tiny, she told me that something forcefully took control of her mind and body that nearly made her break your Tiny Doll. In fact, I think she's probably upset knowing that you think she would have loved to hurt you and your doll. Listen, I know you're upset, but think about how Shiny's feeling right now. Don't you think she's hurting as well knowing something in her mind has forced her into trying to break your doll?" Tahlia asked her daughter.
"I- I guess you're right. Maybe I'll apologize to her when I get the chance," Tiny said with sincerity.
"That's my girl," Tahlia said happily.
(Earlier)
After Shiny closed the door to the passenger car, Shiny jumped over the train buckle, landed on her feet, and stood up. She took a deep breath, then she waited a little. After waiting for a few seconds, Shiny's beak started quivering. Next, she started crying and then she covered her eyes a little as she started causing a storm. Then she started walking forward. When she reached the door to Laura's Observation Car, she wiped her eyes with both her hands and then placed her right hand on the door handle.
...
Laura Giganotosaurus was peacefully keeping watch of the railroad with her eyes until suddenly, she heard someone crying. She looked down to see her door being opened and saw Shiny crying.
"Shiny, what's wrong? Are you hurt?" I asked the little Pteranodon as she started sniffing while I was zooming my head closer to her. She started to clear up as she started speaking.
"Oh. I'm hurt alright. (Voice Cracking) In here!" Shiny said as she pointed her right finger at her heart. Then, she placed both of her hands on her eyes as she started to cry once more.
Carefully, I used my arms to pick Shiny up and placed her on my left shoulder as she cried into my scales. "There, there, Shiny. It's okay," I said as I tried soothing my voice, hoping to calm her down while I gently patted her back with my giant right paw as she layed on top of my shoulder. Soon, Shiny started calming down a little. "There. Now, tell me, Shiny, what caused you to cry so hard?" I asked her as I took her off my shoulder and placed her in front of me. As soon as she sat on the palm of my right paw, she started wiping a tear from her right eye using her right finger. The young Pteranodon started to speak to me once again.
"Well, you see, Laura, earlier this morning, I did something horrible to Tiny that caused her to hate me," she answered my question as she looked down and closed her eyes.
I, however, took a quick moment to understand what she meant by that. Even if it sounded ridiculous. "Sorry to be blunt, Shiny, but... that sounds ridiculous. Tiny hating you, her own sister? What did you do to her to make her say that she hates you?" I asked her knowing that Tiny could never hate anybody, including her own sister.
"Well... I grabbed her Tiny Doll out of her hand and started to tear it up. Luckily, I didn't when Tiny shouted by saying "please" while begging me to stop," she said to me which I couldn't believe my eyes.
"My, my, my, that is horrible. Why would you try to break your sister's favorite doll?" I asked her as to why she would do such a thing.
"It wasn't me. Well, it was me, but something within me took control of my mind and body forcefully. I'm glad Tiny stopped me before I scarred her for life," she said as she then curled her knees closer to her chest, and then hides her face behind them.
I saw how Shiny really was upset. So, I decided that maybe a song could help cheer her up. "Shiny, I want you to listen to me, very carefully."
Sad, yet uplifting music was heard.
♪I know you're scaaaaared. I know you're terrifiiiiiied. But you should seeeeeee, that what you are is something that makes yoooooooouu you. You display acts of generosity and kiiii-iiindneeeesss. But what really makes you you is the love for those you hold deeeeaarr. "See Shiny, once you let go of your fear, you can do anything your heart desires," I said. "Maybe you should think about apologizing to her just in case. Show her that you do care for her," I finished.
"Laura... thanks. But I'll tell her when I get the chance. But first, can I still hang with you?" Shiny asked me.
"Of course you can, Shiny. Do you also want to birdwatch with me?" I asked her.
"Sure. Not to mention that's what Mom told me to ask you," she said to me which I was happy to oblige.
"Well, hehe, guess it's the best of both worlds," I said and soon, me and Shiny were looking for birds while she perched onto my head.
...
Back at Pteranodon Terrace...
Jonathan started waking up with a little headache. "Ugh! What happened?" He asked. Then, he looked to see his friends were still passed out on his right, then looks left to see nothing but sand. His eyes started to shrink as he realized that Spyro, Cynder, Sparx, Spike, Grimlock, Ember, and the others weren't there. "Uh oh!" He said.
Jonathan pushed himself off the ground until he got his bearings straight. Then, he looks around and found out that he was on a beach. And when there's a beach, there's fish. Luckily, tribal werewolves such as himself loves to eat fish. Then, he found the scent of four fishes in a nest above a cliff. He ran up to the side of cliff and jumped super high until he reached his destination. He looked to his left and saw a giant nest. "Whoa! That's gotta be the most biggest bird nest I have ever seen. Wait a minute, birds weren't born in the Mesozoic Era. Wait another minute, judging by how big this nest is, it could be a Pteranodon nest. And we're supposed to meet two Pteranodons by the name of Tahlia and Shiny. But... I don't see a single scale from one of those magnificent reptiles of the sky. Wait, I could only hear voices, and one in particular must have been Tahlia. But, where could she be? Hello? Agh! Stupid headache!" Jonathan said as he held his right paw on the top of his head until the headache started to disappear. Then, he started to remember something. "Waaaait a minute, I only passed out after throwing up. That agonizing pain only came in when, *gasp*, I was knocked out by someone using something hard," he said as he came to a conclusion. Then, something got caught up in his nose. "Stupid seawater. Wait, *sniffs*, that's not just seawater," looks to his left and in the sand was medium sized rock. He picked up, and took a big whiff at it. "Pteranodon scent. And now I know what happened to our friends."
Then, he heard a familiar sound of someone dreaming and looked at Mike. He was saying something about catching the biggest fish ever and sharing it with his friends and the other tribal werewolves. Man, gotta love a creature with a good heart, is what Jonathan would say. He ran over to Luke on his left and pulled his ear, Saivon on his left with his ear, and Michael on his right while pulling his ear too. Next, he stood between Saivon and Michael. Then, with a big deep inhale of air, with Saivon and Luke's ears in his right paw, and Michael's in his left paw, he roared as loud as he could. Then, the sky blue, brown, and light blue tribal werewolves jumped up in surprise.
"Why'd you do that, Jonathan?!" Saivon asked as he was holding his ear with his left paw.
"I had to wake you up because we were out for too long. See!" Jonathan said as he pointed out his right finger in front of him where their friends used to be laying unconscious.
"Uh, where are Spyro, Grimlock and the others?" Michael asked.
"That's just it, buddy, they must have been kidnapped!" Jonathan explained. Then, he walked in front of them and turns toward them. "I was just about to wake up after my usually long yawn until what smelled to be a male Pteranodon bonking me on the head with that medium sized rock right there," he said as he pointed his right finger at the rock. "And of course, I still have the dang bump on my head! See!" He shouted as he tilted his head forward for his best friends to see.
Michael took a gander at the top of his head and saw the bump on his head. "Whoa! That's a bump!" Michael shouted.
Saivon saw the bump as well as Luke, but then he started sniffing a strange fishy smell. "Hey, what's that fishy smell?" Saivon wondered as he lifted his nose into the air.
"Well, my friend, I caught the scent of not only fish, but a stronger scent of it coming from those who took our friends. Including what seems to be the smell of duck, which could mean they were hadrosaurs," the green werewolf explained a little more. "But, since I caught they're scent, I can track them."
"How did you you do that?" Luke wondered.
"By smelling this rock. The same one that was held by what seems to be a young Pteranodon, who bonked me on the head a little while ago," Jonathan said. "Now let's go hunting. Because we have a long way to go. We can get there by flying," he said as he then turned into his Draconosaurus Rex form which was a dragon/t-rex hybrid Kaiju by the name of Rip Claw. Then his other friends turned into their Kaiju forms, too. "And once we're close to the location of where they have been taken to, we'll change back to our werewolf forms, and continue our journey. Now let's fly!" He shouted as he jet upwards into the sky with his friends following his lead. As long as they follow the scent, the more closer they are to finding their friends.
Shiny said goodbye as she went to visit the new "Patient" Car. After going through the Nursery Car, she opened the door to the Patient Car and saw the knocked out creatures on each side of the car in white beds. She went past the giant black and green dinosaur, she went past the jar that contained the yellow dragonfly, and she passed the purple creature with yellow horns and the dark violet one with silver horns and chains with spikes. She then stopped when she looked at the blue creature with diamonds around her eyes. Carefully, and slowly, she gently placed her left hand on the blue one and started rubbing her. "What kind of dinosaur are you?" She asked herself. Then, she starts to smile. "Well, whatever you are, you look pretty," Shiny answered herself. Then she heard the conductor shouting that they were approaching a time tunnel and then she heard him say that they were in Troodon Town.
...
When the kids went to the train turntable, they met all their friends, including Annie Tyrannosaurus, Tank Triceratops, Derek Dinonychus, Valerie Velociraptor, Oren and Ollie Ornithimimus, Ernie Einiosaurus, Mikey Microraptor, Arnie Argentinosaurus, Ned Brachiosaurus, Cory Corythosaurus, Petey Petienosaurus, Morris Stegosaurus, Alvin Allosaurus, King and Crystal Cryolophosaurus, and even the Old Spinosaurus. They all said "hi" to them. Tiny said "hi" and turned around to say sorry to Shiny, but, she wasn't there. Tiny realized that Shiny must of ran off to somewhere. She starts to sigh deeply. But, that sigh didn't go unnoticed by the young female Tyrannosaurus.
"Hey Tiny, where's Shiny?" Annie asked.
"I don't know, she was right behind us but then she must of ran off to somewhere. I guess she's pretty upset thinking I'm still mad at her for nearly trying to break my Tiny doll," she explained. After she explained, all of their friends started a series of gasping after they heard what she just said.
"Why would Shiny do that? She knows how very important your doll is to you," Valerie said.
"I know, but she told Mom that something within her took control of her mind and body, then Mom told me that, too. Come to think of it, where is Mom?" Tiny wondered. Then she, along with everyone else heard whistling coming from Peter with his wings behind his back. The others, including his children looked at him with questioning glares. "Daaaaad, where's Mom?" Tiny asked.
"Well, you see here, kids, we didn't just take the train to bring these strange creatures to Troodon Town, while riding the train, and meeting your friends here as a bonus," Peter started.
"What do you mean, Dad?" Tiny asked.
"Well, Tiny, like what happened earlier, your mother decided to go to Troodon Town to take your sister to the doctor while I watch you and your brothers," he finished.
"Then, why didn't you tell us?" Tiny asked.
"Because... Well, how should I put this, you didn't really seem to be in the mood to care what was going on with Shiny," He explained.
"Oh," she replied.
"Besides," he started. "Once your sister is feeling better, you and your brothers can be able to have fun together and love her once more," he finished.
"I... I guess you're right," Tiny agreed.
...
Troodon Hospital...
Shiny and Tahlia were waiting in a room until a Troodon by the name of Dr. Tobias "Toby" Troodon walked in. He was wearing a white vest with yellow buttons as he worn his ID card on the right side. He sounded a lot familiar like Dr. Scott the Paleontologist.
"Well, hello there. I'm Dr. Tobias Troodon. Toby for short," he said as he carried a clipboard in his right paw. Then, he used his left paw to put his doctor glasses on. "So," he said and started clearing his throat, "which one of you fine ladies is Shiny?" He asked.
Shiny, who was sitting on a small rectangle bed with white paper on it, started to raise her left paw as she looked at the right. "Hello. My name is Shiny," she said to the kind doctor.
"And I'm her mother, Tahlia Pteranodon," she said. She was sitting on a blue recliner.
"Well, it's very nice to meet you, Shiny and Tahlia. Now, what seems to be the problem?" He questions as he adjusts his glasses.
"Well, you see here, Dr. Tobias, earlier today my daughter nearly broke her sister's favorite doll and said that something inside her took over her mind and body. When Tiny screamed and begged Shiny to stop, it broke whatever hold she was in," Tahlia explained.
"Well, good thing I'm also great at therapy as well," he said. Then, he closed the door with his left paw and walked over to the young cyan Pteranodon. He took out his stethoscope and placed them on his ears as he places a heart monitor on the left side of Shiny's chest. "Okay Shiny, I need you to take 3 deep breaths," he said as his left paw kept still on the heart monitor while Shiny took three deep breaths.
After the third deep breath that Shiny made, the doctor removes his paw and the thing off of Shiny's chest. "Well, my dear Shiny, you heart's beating healthily. How about a treat before we head onto the next step, hm?" He asked.
"I thought you give treats at the end?" Tahlia wondered.
"Well, I'm different then most other doctors. Ah, here we go, one nice fish for a good girl like you, Shiny," he said as he took a fish from his carnivore treat box with his right paw. Shiny took it with her right paw.
"Thanks, Dr. Tobias," Shiny said. Then, she took a huge bite and ate her fish completely. Then, she heard her stomach growling loudly as she felt her stomach move around. "Hehe, looks like I'm really hungry," she said as she smiled sheepishly.
"Well, I guess I can give you - oh, darn it! I'm all out of fish.. except for this stick of-," he said as he pulls out a carrion stick and Shiny snatches it with her right paw. Then, she opened her mouth wide and took a huge bite and ate it whole. Then, she burped out what seemed to be the other half of the stick. "-carrion," he finished as he stared widely at the stick on the ground as well as Tahlia. Shiny, after eating the stick of carrion, looks down at what her mother and the doctor were looking at. Shiny starts to look surprised, AND horrified at what she saw.
"Did- Did I- Did I just eat carrion?!" She asked as she looked at the torn stick she held.
Then, darkness was everywhere. Then, a light appeared and the darkness revealed to be the inside of Shiny's beak as Dr. Tobias shone a flashlight inside her mouth with his right paw. He and Tahlia looked inside her daughter's beak. Then, Toby started to gasp as he found out what caused Shiny to eat that carrion stick. "What? What is it, Dr. Toby?" Tahlia questions in state of panic. He shone the light to the right side of Shiny's mouth, and then Tahlia started to gasp in surprise.
"What is it, Mom?" She worried.
The doctor and Tahlia looked at each other, then he used his left paw to give her a square-shaped mirror. "Now Shiny, promise me you won't scream," she said to her daughter.
Shiny turned her head to the left and opened her beak as she held the mirror on the the right side of her mouth. Then, she started to gasp as she found three small, thin, white colored objects. And then... Outside of the hospital... "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!"Shiny screamed.
The Pteranodon family and the others heard the sound of a familiar scream as they look where it originated.
"That sounded like Shiny, right?" Tank asked as he stood on Buddy's left.
"Eeyup," Buddy answered.
Shiny was starting to panic rapidly and breathing rapidly as she saw three little... FANGS... poking out of her gum-gums. She poked the middle one with her left finger. Water started to rise from the bottom of her eyes. Shiny started sniffling. "Mom, *sniff* what's happening to me?" She asked as she dropped the mirror on the bed and covered her eyes as she starts crying into her mother's chest as Tahlia wraps her wings around her.
"I don't know, sweetie. Doctor Tobias, is there something going on with my daughter?" She asked.
The doctor shrugged "I don't know."
The Doctor's Office, Train Turntable, and the Newcomers
Shiny was sitting on her mom's lap as she was hugging Tahlia's right side. Tahlia had her right arm on her daughter's right shoulder as she held her left hand on the back of her daughter's head. "Dr. Toby, please, you must have an explanation for her condition. I mean, Pteranodons are supposed to mean "Toothless Beak." But she makes an exception. I mean, she's scared. Even I'm scared," she said as she gently craned her head above her daughter's.
"I'm sorry, but you should be," he said which caused the two Pteranodons to stop what they were doing and look at the doctor with confused faces, as they still hold onto each other. "Sorry, but what I'm trying to say is, that I don't know anything about her illness, " he finished.
"You mean... there's no cure?" Shiny asked.
"I'm sorry. But hey, it might pass," he said as to relieve the two of their stress, mostly including Shiny, of course. "Have a nice day! Bye!" He said as he closed the door.
Shiny, who still sat on the bed, began to ask her mom a question. "Mom, can you not tell Dad, q++++Tiny, Buddy or Don about this, please?" She asked as she looked up with puppy dog eyes. Tahlia was confused about the gesture, but she question it, but she understood what she meant.
"Of course, I will, Baby. I won't let out a single squawk. But we should probably go back to the others just in case, ok?" Tahlia asked.
"Okay, Mommy," Shiny agreed.
... The Dinosaur Train Turntable
Tahlia and Shiny found the others, including the rest of their friends. Shiny could only take a guess as to see that her sister and brothers told them about what happened between her and Tiny. Tiny, however, realize she can get the chance to apologize to Shiny.
"Hey Mom! Hey Shiny!" Tiny greeted which was followed by Shiny giving a big "eep!" as she hid behind her mother. Next, the cyan Pteranodon poked her head where only her right eye was visible as she made sure to not hurt Tiny.
"S- Shiny, are you... afraid of me?" Tiny asked as she held her Tiny doll within her arms. Shiny lowered her pupil to her right side while looking down.
Tiny then looked from Shiny to her Tiny Doll. Next she closed her eyes and opened them again and handed her doll to Buddy with both of her paws. Then, she turns to her right and walks up to Mom and Shiny. She stopped in front of Tahlia. "Mom, can I please talk to Shiny?" She asked.
Tahlia looked at Shiny as she had her eyes closed. She put her right paw on her back, which causes Shiny to open her eyes at her mother. She smiled at her and Shiny smiled back. Then, she walked out from behind her mom and started to walk towards Tiny. "Hey Tiny," she said.
"Hey Shiny. I just wanted to-"
A huge howling was heard from Shiny's right and Tiny's left. They looked over at the woods. They saw the same 4 creatures that looked a bit different from the others that were stranded on the beach.
"Hey, isn't that the same one I bonked on the head with a medium-sized... *gulps* rock?" Don said as he pointed his right finger at the green creature. Then, the whole Pteranodon family alongside the Lambeosaurus family remembered who they were. The green creature growled angrily at Don, which made him back very slowly. Then, the 4 creatures raised their heads high as they started howling again. Then, the ground started shaking. The whole Turntable station was was cracking everywhere, even right where the Pteranodon and Lambeosaurus families and their friends were. Then, a red creature with an orange sail popped out of the ground and made a Jurassic World T-Rex roar. They saw more of them come up from the turntables. One was purple with yellow hair in his eyes. The next one was a thick, brown dragon with two small blue horns and a tail that reminded them of Ankylosaurs. Then, there were two other creatures. One was white with pink hair while the other was gray with green hair. Another purple creature appeared from underground but had silver hair. Another one appeared, but had very long ears. Then, they saw a glimpse of the hospital and saw a giant snake-like creature with a deer antler and goat horn. Then four more bodies appeared. Two were so small yet one was a purple creature with yellow horns while the other one was purple but more darker with spiky bracelets. The next one was like the other winged creatures, but had only three fingers like a Pteranodon and his back was hunched to look more like a dinosaur. The last one that erupted from the hospital was a giant green and black T-Rex which has a body of metal. Then, back at the turntable station, more cracks were forming and separated Shiny away from her family and friends.
Shiny saw two creatures coming from the smoke. On her right, she saw another purple dragon, but light green hair. On her left, she saw the same blue creature with diamonds around her eyes and stares at Shiny. The blue one came close to Shiny and started sniffing her. Then, only for a moment, the creature widen her eyes and picked Shiny up with her right paw while Shiny started screaming. The blue creature turned to the left and started running into the woods with the other creatures.
Tiny watched as the creatures ran off with her sister. All she could feel now was regret. Regret for not apologizing to her sister earlier as she starts to cry.
Shiny's family and friends followed the beasts inside the forest, as they look to find their sister/daughter/friend.
...
Shiny started to wake up and realized that something slobbery was holding her right leg. Then, she was hoisted up in a vertical position and she saw the diamond eyed creature holding her with her tongue. "AAAAAAAAHHHHH!" Shiny screamed as put out her paws in front of her to protect herself as well as closing her eyes. The screaming stopped however when she opened her right eye and saw that the creature that was holding her with her tongue gently placed her down on a giant bed-shaped rock. Then, the blue creature said "Shabooey" and started to shrink down to a teenager size that made Shiny feel less scared.
"Don't worry, Shiny, I'm not going to hurt you. My name is Ember," she said as she placed her left paw on her heart.
"Pretty name. Wait, how do you know my name?" Shiny asked as she points her right finger to Ember.
"My nose has a special ability that allows me to see one's memories. I mean, that's how I found out that you're were the one Master Eon sent us to find and help," Ember explained.
"Then why did you destroy the turntable station?" Shiny asked.
"We didn't mean to. We were just scared, even if we are Dragons, or, part Dragon. But that was also because we thought you were gonna experiment on us," Ember complied.
"Umm, what's a Dragon?" Shiny asked.
"Well, we're giant, flying, fire breathing reptiles of course," Ember answered.
"You... can breathe fire?" Shiny questioned the blue dragon.
"Yup. But don't worry, we only use it to defend ourselves," Ember said.
Then, the two heard fighting from outside the cave. Shiny remembered that one familiar voice.
"*Gasp* Mom!"
"Wait, that's your mom? The older female one?" Ember asked.
"Hey, she's in her 20's," she said as she placed her paws on her hips in the form of hips. "Wait, I know you breathe fire, but they don't know that," Shiny said.
Then, the two head outside of the cave and saw The Old Spinosaurus in a tug of war with the red dragon by pushing their heads together. Boris Tyrannosaurus was fighting off Spike. Delores was fighting against Belcher. Laura and Alvin were fighting off Michael in his Kaiju form, El Miko. Saivon was fighting off the conducter, King and Crystal against Discord. Peter was fighting off against the thin, brown-colored dragon known as Barry. Trudy Triceratops was fighting off against Clump and Vex as they too were in a headbutting tug of war. Shiny even saw her mother fighting off against Luke as he was giving her a bear hug too make sure she wouldn't hit him. Then, Shiny saw Jonathan walking on all fours as he slowly advances to the kids with Buddy, Tiny, and Don in the front. Shiny started flapping her wings and flew over to the kids alongside Ember. Shiny landed in front of Tiny and Don, and Ember landed on Shiny's left as she was in front of Buddy. Then, with a big puff of air flowing into Shiny's mouth...
Then, Tahlia saw her daughter safe and sound. Then, she pulled head forward and pulled it back so fast that it hurt Lukaryonyx's snout and caused him to let go of the Pteranodon as he placed both his paws on his sniffer.
"Shiny!" Tahlia said as she ran to Shiny with tears in her eyes.
"Mom!" Shiny said as she ran over to her mom as well. But no tears were involved.
Then the two reunited with a big hug.
"Oh! Oh my baby! You're safe!" Tahlia cried happily.
"Mom!" Shiny said playfully as to try and not blush. But only shown a little blush on her cheeks.
The dinosaurs smiled as they saw the two reunite. The Dragons, Tribal Werewolves, Sparx, Discord, and Grimlock awed at the scene as they come to realization.
"Um, excuse me, Mrs. Pteranodon, is your name, by any chance, "Tahlia?" Spike asked.
Tahlia nodded once. Then, the giant purple dragon started to laugh hysterically.
"Ahahahahaha, I can't believe it! We were fighting off the ones who Master Eon sent us to help with, hehe," Spike chuckled as he now knows why Ember took Shiny with her.
"Wait, Master Eon sent you here?" Tahlia asked.
"Well, since he has a job to do, as in being a man that lived for eons and is a guardian of the realm we came from, he's kinda busy," Spike answered.
"Okay. Now that we got that that covered, we just have three little tiny things," Jonathan started. "One, is the fact that why that son of yours BONKED ME ON THE HEAD WITH A ROCK!!! Give me ONE good reason why I shouldn't eat you!!! *tiger roar*
Spike moved his head to left and in front of Rex. "Rex! Calm down! It was probably an accident," Spike said to calm down the green werewolf. Which it did.
"I guess it was. But I do expect an apology," he said.
"Don?" Tahlia asked as she looked to her right at Don.
"Okay. I'm sorry about hitting you on the head with a rock," Don apologized as he walked in front of Tahlia.
"Apology accepted," Rex said.
"So, onto the next thing, why did you kidnap us and took us to a lab?" Spike asked us.
"We weren't going to experiment you, we were trying to nurse you back to health inside a hospital," Mr.Conductor explained.
"That was a hospital?" Grimlock asked.
"Yup," Mr.Conductor replied.
"Anyone get hurt?" Grimlock asked again.
"Nope," the conductor replied once again.
"Phew! For a second there, I thought they were hurt. Now that's a second," he said. Which of course reminded him of his first time meeting Bumblebee, Strongarm, and Sideswipe.
"And for the final one, well, can I ask your daughter something, Tahlia?" Jonathan asked.
"Sure," she answered.
"Great. Okay, Shiny, tell Uncle Johnny what's bothering you?" He said.
"Well,... earlier today I found myself on the beach without knowing how I got there, but went to collect shells like I always do,," she started which caused the green werewolf to say "uh-huh." "Then, something inside me took over," she continued.
"Wow. Seems like Dark Magic to me. Please continue," he told the teal colored Pteranodon.
"Next, this... "Dark Magic," made me snatch my sister's favorite Tiny Doll and nearly try to break it into pieces."
"Wow. That sounds mean. I mean, did your sister and brothers knew that you would never do something so heartless?" Jonathan asked her. But, it only caused the said siblings to look at each other and chuckle nervously. "Wow. Just... wow. That's not nice. I mean, Dark Magic can do evil things to people and force them to do terrible things that might come back to haunt them, but that, that was just cruel. Am I right, you guys?"
The others agreed with the werewolf as some remembered what that devil magic did to them in the past. Like, Spike, being under the control of an evil tyrant known as King Sombra. Grimlock remembered his mind was taken over by a small Decepticon by the name of "Mini-Tron." Cynder, however, smiled sheepishly as she didn't say anything about her past with an evil purple dragon by the name of "Malefor." Spyro, however, noticed what she was doing and understands her reason not to.
"But anyway, is there something else you want to tell us? But know this, you can tell me anything. Just tell the doctor what's the cause of your aggression," he said as he placed his right paw onto her left shoulder.
"Well, speaking of doctors, Dr. Tobias Troodon said something was wrong with my mouth when I ate a carrion stick," she quickly said as she then closed her mouth with her paws.
"Wait, you ate carrion, Shiny?!" Buddy asked nicely, but also surprisingly.
"It happened so fast, though. So, yes. But I still want to know what's happening to me. In fact, I'm scared not knowing what's going on with my body. Especially with my teeth," she said.
"TEETH?" The dinosaurs and Skylanders questioned with a big volume.
"Excuse me Shiny, but can I see your mouth?" Jonathan asked.
Shiny did as she told and opened her mouth. Rex could only see what a Pteranodon shouldn't have: teeth. Especially fangs of a carnivore. Jonathan backed up for everyone to see. They all gasped as they saw their daughter/sister/ friend's fangs. But they didn't hear Tahlia say anything because they knew that she was with her daughter at the doctor's office.
"Okay, Shiny, we all saw your fangs, but, I need you to produce a big lung full of air my way so I can smell your DNA and figure out what we're up against," Jonathan told her.
Shiny nodded once and took a big gulp of air, and then blew a big, sickly green cloud of air right at the center of Rex's nose. He took a big whiff at it. Then, his eyes started forming a bunch load of red cracks all around his pupils when he smelled it. "Aww! That is disgusting!" Rex said before he closed his mouth and went behind a rock and hurled which caused the dinosaurs to say "ew!" while the Skylanders give a second "ew!" "Aw, man, that was the second time I puked!" He said as he shook it off and went back to Shiny. "Well, Shiny, I have good news and bad news. Good news is, you are the first ever Pteranodon to have teeth," he said which caused the Skylanders to smile and the dinosaurs to sigh in relief. Bad news is, you're a Weredragon," he said which caused the Skylanders to gasp while the dinosaurs just stood silent.
"Um, what's a Weredragon?" Tiny asked.
Spike came up to the little Pteranodon. "Well, you see, Tiny, its a hybrid with both Werewolf DNA and Dragon DNA. With Tribal Werewolf DNA, the creature turns into a fully controlled primal version of themselves without acting like a monster. But when Dark Magic is involved, the creature with Tribal Werewolf DNA slowly, and painfully turns into an uncontrollable force of nature that can't stop its nightly rampage of eating innocent lives," he explained.
Then, the whole world around Shiny started to shrink as well as her eyes as she started to develop the feeling of fear. "You mean that's the cause of my aggression?!" She said as she placed her paws onto the top of her head.
"Not only that, my dear flying friend, but when the sun resurfaces, you will wake up either not remembering what happened, or will remembering what happens at night," Discord explained.
"Another thing is, your transformation only occurs on a night when the moon is full. And since you said you woke up on the beach this morning, you already went through your first transformation last night," Ember explained.
"...meaning you would have to be locked up in a cage for tonight," Spike said.
It was dark outside, and everyone headed up the slope that the cave was at. Every single dinosaur walked in after the Skylanders climbed up. Shiny sat on top of Ember's head as she went into the deepest part of the cave. Ember lifted her right paw up to the top of her head for Shiny to hop on. Shiny did, then she sat as Ember lowered her paw so that it was elevated at her chest. Ember took a swig of air and blew a pink fireball at a triangular pile of woods and lit it on fire. Shiny saw that there was a box-like cage made out of sticks and vines. Ember placed her paw into the box and then Shiny flew off the blue dragon's paw. "Sorry it had to be this way. But it's for your own good, Shiny," Ember said as she looked at the Pteranodon inside the cage.
"I know. But thank you for caring for me. And if I turn, will I be able to control myself?" Shiny asked.
Ember started to speak as she slowly shakes her head to the right and left once. "I'm sorry, Shiny, but you can't," she answered the young Pteranodon which caused her to hug her knees. "But don't worry, Jonathan's Tribal Werewolf DNA will kick in soon when you're all primal," Ember reassured her.
"I hope so. Goodnight, Ember," Shiny said to the nice blue Dragoness.
"Goodnight, Shiny," Ember said to the sky blue-colored Pteranodon.
...
It was nighttime, and everyone slept on the ground until...
"AAAAAAAHHHHHH!" Shiny screamed as she placed her paws on her head.
Everyone heard it and woke up, especially Ember. She told everyone else to wait there on the ground and flew into the air and into the cave. The sight she started to see was that the Pteranodon was starting to painfully transform. She saw her wings retreating into her arms. Then, some kind of force pushed her to the ground as her wings started growing from her back. Unknown to Ember, Tiny was behind her and was watching what was happening to her sister. Shiny's wings not only grew, but the tips of her wings gained two spikes. Two for each wing in the form of fingers. Shiny started to feel her tailbone cracking as her tail started to grow beyond the normal length of an adult Pteranodon and into a long, skinny tail. Then, Shiny could feel every muscle in her body ripping and tearing and forming new muscles as her bones creak. With added muscles, comes an added size to Shiny's body. Her legs and feet started cracking and formed a couple of legs that looked identical to Ember's. She felt her paws getting swollen and looked at her left and saw that it grew a pinky finger. Next, her fingers started bleeding when her nails grew and sharpened themselves into claws. Her arms grew in muscle and with that muscle, her arms became "femininly" buff. Her chest grew wide, her back stretched and became more slimmer, and a silvery scythe-like tailpoint appeared at the end of her tail. Shiny could feel something sharp coming from her and noticed that her spiky head grew a little longer with elf-like ears popping out. Her mandible lobes started forming with one big blue spot on each side. Her beak grew longer and the top and bottom started becoming more rounder as she kept the pointy end of her upper jaw. Her small teeth started growing into the shape of large bananas. Especially with those four canine teeth growing much longer like a snake with her top ones much longer. Her tongue grew longer and painfully became more sharper. Her neck was starting to grow a little longer to match Ember and Spike's. Shiny closed her eyes as she felt the final painful part of her transformation as her eyes opened up, only to reveal sickly color of yellow irises and reptile slits. Tiny let out a gasp as she saw what was happening to her sister so loud that it alerted Ember. Ember looks behind her to the right and saw Tiny.
"Tiny?!" Ember questioned the little girl in surprise. Then, the two heard feint panting which caused the two to see the cage. Then, two yellow eyes opened up in anger and a white mouth opened up all hungry-like. Then, it closed its eyes and mouth and performed a straight headbutt that caused the entire cage to shatter into a million pieces. After that, it looked up to see that Ember and Tiny flew down to the ground. The creature that was once the light sky blue-colored Pteranodon started to growl.
...
The dinosaurs and the Skylanders wondered what was going on when Ember came down. Tahlia went over to Tiny, who was standing on Ember's left.
"Tiny, I told you to stay down here!" She said to her daughter.
"Don't worry, Tahlia, she didn't get hurt. Unless you and the others take cover, that is," she explained.
"Why do we need to take cover?" She asked. Then, her question was answered by the sound of a terrible howl as everyone looked up to see shadowy figure howling at the moon with female wolf-like howl. Then, the shadowy figure pulled back without moving from its position and jumped off the cliff that was connected to the cave, and landed on the ground. The shadowy figure walked out of the darkness and into the moonlight; revealing its light sky blue scales with blue patches of fur on her shoulders. Then, the creature started howling again. The dinosaurs knew that scale color from anywhere.
The creature started to move to the right and then to the left and went right and left again like a foosa. Then, she stops as she looks straight at Ember.
"*tiger roar*!" Were-Shiny roared as she lunged at her.
Ember and Were-Shiny met as they both had their claws locked and their heads butting each other. "Shiny! This isn't you! Ugh! You have to fight back!" Ember shouted as she tried to reach the Pteranodon inside the creature that stood in her place. Then, Were-Shiny made a sinister grin as she plummets her tail down into the earth behind her and came out the other side, and coiled around the entire right leg of the blue Dragoness, and strongly pulled her down to the ground on her right side. Ember looked up as the beast pulled her head back and lunged itself at Ember's neck, but only to be stopped by a giant metal left paw that belonged to Grimlock.
"Looks like your "midnight snack" has been denied," Grimlock boasted.
The creature started to growl, then wiggled her jaws free, pulled her head back a little, snarled and chomped onto Grimlock's forearm.
Grimlock whimpered in pain, and then was hoisted into the air and the creature swings him to the right and throws him into the forest.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" He screamed as he flew into the forest. The Skylanders saw this and couldn't believe their own eyes. Sparx started to fly over to the Weredragon and started blinding her eyes with his bright aura. The creature used her fingers as she tried to cure her blindness, which worked a few seconds later. Then, Were-Shiny opened her eyes in anger and started snarling in anger, too. Then, Sparx flew to the right while the creature tried to eat him, only for him to fly through her mouth. As Sparx continued to distract her the Tribal Werewolf Pirates started to run on all fours and jumped onto the creature. They didn't do any scratching or slashing or biting, but they were delivering some mean punches as they tried to tire her out. But, it didn't work, for it only made her more madder. Then, she used her tail to grab Rex off her right shoulder, Skurge off her left shoulder, Razor off her neck, and Lukaryonyx off the back of her head. Then, she started to squeeze the life out of them. But then, she was hit by a red colored, ear piercing shriek as she saw Cynder trying to hurt her ears so that she can let go of the four werewolves. But, she wasn't easily being defeated, so, Spyro used his electricity breath to zap her and caused her to roar in pain, but then he heard the wolves blubbering in pain, too. Luckily, that caused her to let go of them. Her scales even emitted smoke coming from her body. But, then she opened her eyes and revealed them to be purple, and she let out a straight thin line of purple fire at Spyro and knocked him out as he landed on his backside in front of Tiny, Buddy, Don, and the other Dinosaur kids. Then, a war cry was heard and Grimlock was seen jumping out of the trees and landed on Shiny and started to deliver some punches to her back. "You," he says as he punched her with his right fist. "Bit," he says as he punched her with his left fist and ended it by smashing both his fists on her back. "Me!"
The creature was getting more madder by the minute and coiled her tail around a rock and pushed it with force to hit him, but, he caught it with his left paw. Then, surprisingly, she stretched her neck like a Sauropod and grabbed his right forearm with her teeth. "Oh, no, not again," he said as he was pulled off of her and threw him over to the Dinosaurs. Luckily, he planted his feet firmly to the ground and skidded to a halt and caused a cloud of dust to appear over the Dinosaurs and caused them to cough. "Sorry," he said to the Dinosaurs. Then, he stares face to face with the beast like cowboy showdown. "That's it! No more being careful! To many lives are at stake! It's time to go... FULL DINOBOT!! *T-Rex roar*!" He roared and caused Were-Shiny to roar as well.
"Grimlock, wait!" Spike shouted with his left paw up, as he was on the ground from when he was hit by Grimlock when the new WereDragon threw him into the forest.
"LET'S RUMBLE!" He yelled his catchphrase as he started to charging towards the WereDragon as Were-Shiny charges towards him. Then, the two lock into battle as Were-Shiny raised her right paw and unsheathed her really razor sharp claws to slash at the Dinobot Leader. But, he caught it with the top of his left forearm and pulled his right fist back and launched it in the form of an uppercut and punched the left bottom side of her long mouth with 100 tons of metal. Were-Shiny stepped back 2 feet away from Grimlock to hold her mouth with her two paws as she bellows in pain with a Jurassic Park T-Rex bellow. He walked forward and landed a gut punch with his right paw which caused the Weredragon to grab her stomach as she stood in place as she started to howl in pain once more. "Hurts, doesn't it? Well, you ain't seen nothing yet," he said to anger the creature, which worked a little as she started to growl in response. Then, she launches at him with her head and headbutted his head with force. Giving her a little headache in the process. Grimlock retaliated with a headbutt of his own which caused the creature to have a major headache as she covered her head with her paws. Then, he charges his left shoulder at Shiny and slams her into the wall. Then, he grabs the right side of her neck with his mouth and throws her in front of the Dinosaurs and the Skylanders as she twists and rolls on her left. Then, because of the pain he caused, she tries to get up, but only for her to get smacked at the top of her head by Grimlock's tail. Then, he stepped back a little, then he crouches down, and leaps high into the air. "CAANNONBAAALL!" He yelled out in midair as he then started spinning and then came down like a meteor and smashed onto Shiny. Once the dust cleared up, everyone saw Grimlock sitting on the unconscious Weredragon. Then, he gets off of her back and turns to his left and grabs her with both his paws and puts her over his left shoulder. "Come on, guys, Eon may be able to help with her condition."
Spike, along with those who suffered the wrath of the Weredragon, were about to say something, but they let it go.
Then, the giant metal T-Rex called for a portal and then the Skylanders, alongside the Dinosaurs, went inside through the portal as they made another journey through the Convexity. That, of course, caused Jonathan to groan as he hated that place so very much.
When they got through the portal and landed in the arena. Eon stood there with his arms crossed at Grimlock. "Well, I'm ready to hear an explanation from you, Grimlock," Eon said to the Dinobot as he saw the creature over his shoulder. Then, the Dinosaurs came out of the portal and awed the entire place as it was still a little dark. Then, Eon saw Tahlia Pteranodon. "Tahlia Pteranodon, it's so good to see you again," he said as hugged the female Pteranodon.
Tahlia, who had her head on Eon's left shoulder, pulled her head off but kept her embrace on him. "It's so good to see you too, Master Eon. It's been so long," she said to Eon. Then, she let go and looked to her right when she hears her daughter's voice.
"Hey Mom, who is this person that you remember so much about?" Tiny asked.
"Ah, I remember you. I only knew you when you were the size of a baby chicken. Now, I see you have grown a lot, Tiny," Eon said playfully.
"You know my name?" Tiny asked.
"Indeed. In fact, not only do I know you, Tiny, but I also know you too, Buddy and Don. I was even your mother's teacher here at Skylanders Academy, and even came to your world to see you hatch," Eon explained. Then, he looked up and saw Peter and other sorts of Dinosaurs. "My, my, my, it's good to see you all too," Eon said to Peter Pteranodon and the others. The others waved hello to Master Eon as well. Then, he saw their kids, but then, he remembered that Shiny was supposed to be here. "Um, Tahlia, where is your daughter, Shiny?" Eon asked.
"Well, you see, Master Eon-," Tahlia started until she heard roars of pain coming from the creature that Grimlock was carrying on his shoulder. He placed her down and then, all the Skylanders, inluding the Fusionator Leaders, the entire Extreme Squad, and the Dinosaurs, watched as they saw the sun rising, and the creature sprawling on her left side in pain as she starts turning back into what she was. Her claws retreated back into her fingers and toes. The finger spikes retreated back into her wing membrane. Her muscles started to rip and tear as well as her buffed arms started to shrink back to her normal arms. Her pinky claws started to retreat back into her paw. Her wings started to crawl back into her back as they returned to her arms. Her chest shrunk as well as her pointy ears and the back of her head. Her legs started reshaping back into her normal legs and the spots on her cheeks faded away. Her nose started to sharpen as well as her lower jaw. The blue patches of fur on her shoulders started shedding. Her tongue lost its sharp and pointy version as it returns back into its old rounded shape. Her beak has finally returned and best of all, her teeth started popping out. Then, her skin started glowing brighter which causes Cynder to remember her defeat and rescue thanks to Spyro. Then, the Weredragon shrunk back into a Pteranodon; Were-Shiny turned back into Shiny Pteranodon.
"Quickly, we need to get her to a hospital!" Eon said as he grabbed the little girl by the head with his right hand and her legs with his left hand.
...
Doors popped open as Tahlia, Peter, Tiny, Buddy, Don, Master Eon and others raced through the hallways for an empty room.
... Shiny could barely open her eyes for a few seconds as she heard voices old and new.
"...Don't worry, Shiny, we're almost there!..." Master Eon said.
"Out of the way!" Hugo exclaimed. ...
"Keep hanging on in there, kid," The Old Spinosaurus told her.
...
"Shiny! Don't go into the light!" Don told his sister.
...
"Bring us a doctor," Eon told a female Mabu nurse.
"Yes, Master Eon," the nurse replied.
...
Then, Shiny could hear feint sound of doors opening.
"Hello, fraulein!" A german accented man said and then looks at Shiny. "Oh! Zis is actually pretty bad," the Medic from Team Fortress said. "No time to practice medicine. Give her some space. Don't worry, fraulein, I promise I vill heal you," he said on her left side as he turns on his medigun.
...
"Pyro, go get some bandages from ze cabinet," he told the Pyro from yet again, Team Fortress 2.
"Please! Save my baby!" Tahlia said to the Medic. The Medic reassured her that he will do everything in his power to help her daughter and told her and her family and friends to leave the premises. Then, Pyro came back with the bandages.
"(Mumbling) Here you go, Doctor," Pyro said as he held a box of bandages.
"Thanks mein friend," he said as he took some bandages out and walked over to Shiny's left. "Don't worry, little one. Soon you will be healthy und back on your feet once again. Mazter Chief, I need foam!" He called out with his left hand and Master Chief came in holding an assault rifle and sprayed some foam onto her left side. Which, was followed with Medic applying the bandages. Then, she felt something prick through her skin and saw a yellow creature with pink fur putting a needle in her left arm. It even caused her to feel sleepy, VERY sleepy. "Good work, Fluttersh..."
...
Later on, Shiny was on a soft bed, with bandages galore on her waist, and yet she layed motionless. The Pteranodon Family and Mr.Conductor, alongside his mom, Mrs.Conductor, and his nephew, Gilbert sat within the room while others waited in the lounging room. Tiny sat on a stool on her sister's right while Gilbert sat on her left side. "Please, Shiny, wake up. You gotta wake up," she sniffed as a tear escaped her right eye and traveled down her beak and landed on top of her incapacitated sister's nose.
Gilbert was gently holding Shiny's left paw with his right paw. Peter and the boys looked sad as they watched the two of them at Shiny's side after what happened 20 minutes ago. Mrs.Conductor was sitting on Tahlia's left as she comforted her with a few pats on her back as Tahlia cried.
Tiny gave another sniff and wiped her nose with her right arm. Then, she stopped midway and looked at her Tiny Doll. Then, she carefully grabbed Shiny's right paw with her left paw. Then, she placed her doll into her sister's paw and furled her fingers together with her right paw so that she can hold it.
Buddy saw it and walked over to her. "Tiny, are you sure you want to give her your Tiny Doll to Shiny? She's your doll, after all," he said.
"*Sniff* I don't care. It's just a doll. All this time, I was mad at Shiny for something she was forced to do. I should've known then and now that she would never do such a thing like that. My doll, is just a doll! I never even got to apologize to her! I don't even care if I don't own that doll anymore! I just want to have m-my sister back! I want to tell her how much she means to me. How much I love her. I just want Shiny back! I want my sister back! Her life is more important than that doll!" Tiny cried as she placed the backside of her sister's paw on her forehead as she continued to cry.
Everyone took in what Tiny said. Even Gilbert started to shed a tear from his left eye. "Shiny, please wake up. We all love you. I... love you," he said and then leaned closer to Shiny and planted his lips on hers.
The Medic removed his glasses as he wiped his eyes with his right index finger and thumb. Even the Pyro was shedding tears from his mask as he cried and blew his nose with a tissue, wherever his nose his. "Alright, everyone ve need to let her rest," he lied to them for he knew that she wouldn't make it. The Pteranodons, Trex, and Troodons vacated the room. Master Chief escorted them out. ...
Outside in the lobby, all their friends were waiting for them. But, all of them, including her family looked at the devastated look that was planted on Tiny's face. She stopped walking, and took a deep breath. "Um, excuse me, Master Chief?" Tiny asked the green soldier.
"Yes?" He replied.
"Is... Is she going to make it?" She asked. All the Dinosaurs, including the Skylanders that visited the Mesozoic Era wanted to know. Heck, even Grimlock wanted to know.
The Spartan answered by moving his head to the left.
Inside Tiny's chest, she felt her heart begin to shatter. For she, Buddy and Don just lost a sister. Tahlia and Peter just lost a daughter. And the other Dinosaurs just lost a friend.
............. Back in the room, Medic and Pyro looked at each other, then the Medic grabbed the cable to pull it, but then he felt a light scaly object, and smiled. Even Pyro and Fluttershy hugged each other as they saw the sight in front of them as all three of them shedded tears.
....
The Dinosaurs were on the their way back to the Mesozoic Era. The Skylanders both old and new were at the arena as they wanted to wish farewell. When they got closer to the blue portal, Tiny saw the ones that came to their world. "Hey," she said weakly.
They all said hi back.
"I want to thank you for trying to help Shiny. Even if she's gone," she said.
"No problem. She was a good kid," Ember said.
"This all my fault. I only wanted to do what was right, but I ended up killing somebody," Grimlock said.
"No, it wasn't your fault. This was the work of Dark Magic. You were only trying to do what's right," Tahlia reassured Grimlock.
The Dinobot Leader nodded his head once and smiled. Then, he looked at Buddy. "Hey Buddy, when you're all grown up, promise me that you will always protect your friends and family," he said as he crouched down. The young Trex nodded. Then, Grimlock put his right fist at Buddy for a fist bump. Buddy placed his knuckles on Grimlock's. "Just know this, Buddy: someday, you will be one mighty fine king.
"Hey Don, make sure you don't hit anyone with a rock, OK?" Jonathan said as Don giggled and promised right after giggling.
Discord started to blow his nose. "I will surely miss each and every one of you," he said to Trudy and Tank before he continued to blow his nose.
They all said their goodbyes and started to head through the portal until they alongside the Skylanders heard a familiar German accent.
"VAAAAIIIIT!" Medic yelled as he came out in the field. Then he stops and takes breathing check. "Before you go, I vould like Tiny to come vith me," he said.
Tiny looked at her Mom and then held Medic's right hand. Then, she and the doctor walk to the gate they all came through. Then, they heard a familiar roar from within the gate. Then, they all saw Were-Shiny coming out the gate and walking up to Tiny. She tried to run to her mom, but she was stopped by the Medic as he firmly held her shoulders. Her mother couldn't either for she was blocked by the rest of the nine mercenaries of Team Fortress 2. As the beast comes closer, Tiny looks to her right and closes her eyes in fear. Then, she felt a slobbery object touching her left cheek. Tiny looked at the creature's eyes, then the creature pulled her head to the left and grabbed something off her back. Then, she moved her head back to the little Pteranodon. She dropped what looked like her Tiny Doll into Tiny's paws. Tiny looked up to the creature as it started smiling at her gently. Then, a bright glow appeared from the Weredragon as it started to shrink.
As the creature continued shrinking, the Dinosaurs and the Skylanders looked at the sight of it.
Tiny kept looking at the creature as it started to stop glowing. Then, she started gasping as she saw her sister standing in front of her. "Shin-," she said as to hug her until she stopped when seeing her bandages. Shiny, however, scoffed and smiled as she brought her sister into a hug. Tiny started to break the dam as tears came rushing out of her eyes as she places her head onto Shiny's left shoulder and started crying. "I'm so sorry for blaming you when it wasn't really your fault! I'm sorry that I made you feel scared to talk to me! I'm so sorry!" She cried as Shiny patted her back with her left paw.
"It's okay, I forgive you. By the way, who kissed me?" Shiny asked. Tiny giggled, pulled her head back and whispered into Shiny's right ear and Shiny widen her eyes. "G-G-Gilbert... kissed me.. on the lips?" Shiny said as she blushed.
Then, everyone, including her family and friends started coming up to the two Pteranodons as they reunited with a lost loved one.
Shiny and Master Eon were inside a room. Eon gave the little Pteranodon a sheet of paper and a number 2 pencil. Eon went back to his desk, started timing, and read a newspaper. Shiny started to look at the questions and try to remember what they were. ...
All the Dinosaurs and the Skylanders waited outside the library until Shiny was done. Soon, Shiny came out with Master Eon. Shiny wore an unpleasant look on her face as she stopped. They all figured that she failed the test. Tahlia begged Eon to give her daughter another chance. Eon and Shiny smiled and told them that she passed and got an A+ with 100%.
Now, with Shiny training to be a Skylander, and learning to control her beastial side, Shiny will now be able to feel at home with all the friends she made.
