A New Star Rises
It was the day after Rarity’s Fashion Contest and the designers were putting their designs on their racks. Silver was helping with taking down the stage equipment when he overheard Lily Lace and Rarity talking Lily looking flustered.
“ Like what am I going to do I literally have no one to fill in for my lead model,” Lily said in a panicked tone.
“ Calm down darling, I'm sure someone will show up,” Rarity said.
While they were talking Silver kept going until he accidentally dropped the box he was carrying and got their attention. Lily was looking at Silver with intrigue until an idea hit her.
“ Like, I have an idea. Is it like okay if he fills in?” Lily asked.
“ Silver, are you sure I can get my friend Fluttershy to fill-in? ” Rarity asked.
“ He will do just fine. With a little work, he will be perfect, that is, if you will do it for me,” Lily said while giving Silver sad eyes. Silver having a hard time resisting and it caved into Lily’s request.
“ I swear you and Fluttershy must be related. Fine, I'll do it,” Silver said.
“ Great now come with me. We, like, have work to do before the show,” Lily said before grabbing Silver by the arm and to her room. As soon as they entered the room Rarity rented out to Lily, she closed the door.
“ Ok Silver, strip so I can, like, get a look at you,” She said. Silver complied and after taking his clothes off Lily looked at him with intrigue after seeing how hairless his body was.
“ Like, not bad, but we need to do something about your figure,” She said before she heard a knock on the door. Lily opened the door and Rarity came in with a few things.
“ Luckily I had these lying around the shop,” Rarity said as she pulled out what looked like breast forms. Silver was wondering what these two were going to do to him until he saw Rarity put glue on the breast forms.
“ Don’t be so nervous, darling. We need you to match the specific diameters of Lily’s masterpiece and luckily for you, you have the figure down so all you need is the bust to match,” Rarity said as she pushed the forms into place. Silver now had C cup-sized breasts and before he could react, Lily fastened a pink bra with frills on it around his chest. Lily than handed Silver a matching pair of panties before pointing to a folding screen.
“ We shall give you some privacy for this part,” Rarity said.
After changing into the panties, Silver now stood before the two girls, looking embarrassed.
“ Like something is still missing, don’t you think?” Lily said with her finger beneath her lip.
Rarity suddenly had an idea and grabbed a long-haired light green wig.
“ Was this what you had in mind, Lily?” Rarity asked.
“ That's perfect,” Lily said before putting the wig on Silver.
Silver now looked like a teenage girl most boys would bend over backward to date. Lily and Rarity sensed Silver’s admiration for his new look.
“ Like what you see so far, Silver?” Rarity asked.
“ I must say I like it,” Silver said.
“ Well it’s like time for the best part,” Lily said, unveiling a teal dress with a feathered hemline and bodice along with a green lace train. Lily unzipped the back of the dress careful not to pull any of the feathers out before instructing Silver to step into it. After Lily helped Silver get the dress on, she zipped him up and guided him to a full-length mirror. In it was a teenage girl with long light green hair wearing a princess style gown with green and blue feathers all over it.
“ Aren't you worried Inky and Star Streak will recognize me?” Silver asked.
“ Like, don’t worry. Inky is busy with her new boy toy Cold Front and as for Star Streak, he only focuses on the when rather than the now so he won’t bother us,” Lily said assuringly. “ Now sit down so I can do your hair and makeup,” Lily added before Silver took a seat at the vanity table. Lily began messing with Silver’s wig until she heard a knock on her door.
“ It’s like, open so feel free to come in,” Lily said before the door opened and what looked like Inky Rose came in.
“ Hey, Lily have you seen my,” Inky asked before noticing who Lily was working on and smiled.
“ What is it Inky?” Lily asked.
“ Nothing, so what are you doing to Cold Front’s friend?” Inky asked.
“ Silver agreed to fill in for my lead model who could not make it due to getting a bad case of the flu,” Lily said before finishing styling Silver’s wig into an elegant style.
“ Is that so well Silver hope you know what you're getting yourself into,” Inky said.
Silver was looking nervous now until Lily told him she would help him practice for the show as soon as she finished dressing him. Lily began applying some teal lipstick along with some eye shadow of the same color and some mascara. Any trace of Silver was now completely covered.
“ This next part will be, like, literally challenging, so please pay attention,” Lily said while putting a pair of teal four-inch heels on Silver’s feet. Lily explained to Silver that the key to walking in heels was to sway your hips to maintain your balance. Lily demonstrated before telling Silver to try and stand up. Silver got up and despite wobbling a little, he managed to get the hang of it.
“ I knew I made the right choice when I chose you to fill in for Sky,” Lily said before showing Silver the rest of the outfit which included a choker with a feather design on the round part, some earrings with the same design, some long teal lace gloves, a light green faux fur half jacket, and to top it all off was a silver tiara with the same feather design as the choker and earrings. Lily helped Silver with the jacket and choker before asking Silver a serious question.
“ Like, have you ever had your ears pierced before?” Lily asked.
“ Yes, and boy was it painful,” Silver said.
“ It always feels that way for the first time but once the holes are set you can put earrings on without feeling anything,” Lily said while putting the earrings on Silver’s ears. After Silver finished pulling the gloves up his arms Lily put the tiara on Silver’s head before stepping back to look at her new lead model.
“ You like, look perfect and do make a better princess than Sky does,” Lily said.
“ Thanks, Lily, so when does this show of yours start,” Silver asked.
“ Like, Tonight so we literally have no time to waste since we still have work to do,” Lily said.
For the past five hours, Lily instructed Silver on proper form and how to walk and stuff. After many hours of practice, Silver now had the whole routine memorized and was ready to go. Forty-five minutes before showtime Lily’s other two models arrived one of them a blue girl with honey blonde hair and the other a pink girl with blue hair. The girls were surprised by Silver wearing Lily’s masterpiece.
“ Like, why is this boy wearing the Peacock Princess?” the blue girl asked.
“ Sky could not make it Turf so Silver like, agreed to fill in for her so like, be nice to him,” Lily said.
“ Is that so well we can't call him Silver anymore dressed like that,” The other girl said.
“ You like, do have a point Surf but what do we call him?” Lily asked. After a few minutes of thinking they suddenly had it.
“ How do you feel about the name Turquoise?” Lily asked.
“ Sounds perfect,” Silver said with his best female voice.
After Surf and Turf changed into their outfits all four girls went backstage with the others. Silver was surprised to see Cold Front wearing a black lolita style dress with gothic makeup and everything while Cold Front was also surprised to see Silver dressed like the queen of birds.
“ Wow Silver I never knew you made such an elegant looking gal,” Cold front said.
“ When Lily asked me to fill in for her lead model she made it hard for me to say no and I'm guessing Inky asked you to model as well?” Silver said.
“ Asked me to I begged her to after all the trouble she went through to get me into this outfit it would be a shame not to show it off,” Cold said.
“ You girls can catch up later right now Rarity is about to discuss the order,” Lily said.
Rarity explained that Lily was first than Inky than Starstreak. After the order was decided Lily pulled her models aside to speak to them.
“ Like, listen up ladies this is our routine Surf, Turf when you two reach the end of the runway be ready to pose with Turquoise like your her entourage,” Lily said.
“ We got it but does Turquoise know what to do?” Surf asked.
“ After five hours of practice, I have it all drilled into me,” Silver said.
As soon as the crowd outside was seated and the judges were ready the show was about to start with Rarity doing the announcing.
“ Welcome to the Carousel Boutique Fashion Showcase everyone after yesterdays show all three designers won and I asked them to create a signature piece for their collections and now let's introduce our judges for tonight first up we have hoity-toity,” Rarity said as a man with grey silver skin and grey hair stood up while smiling. Next up is our school’s resident photographer Photo Finish. A girl with blue skin, white hair, wearing a striped dress and pink shades stood up as well. And lastly my friend Applejack. Applejack stood up before Rarity continued. And now without further ado let the show begin and first up Lily Lace and her signature piece the Peacock Princess modeled by Turquoise Dusk. As Silver strutted down the runway everyone was cheering for him.
“ I say that is the most elegant and regal looking ensemble I ever saw,” Hoity Toity said while smiling.
“ Simply stunning and definitely full of da magics,” Photo Finish said with joy.
“ It kind of reminds me of that peacock costume Lyra wore during the tryouts for the friendship games but otherwise it's very lovely,” Applejack said.
As soon as Surf and Turf reached the end of the runway they pulled out two fans and as soon as Silver reached the end of the runway they moved them and Silver made a regal pose. The crowd loved it and as soon as the girls went back Lily looked pleased.
“ Like, you were a natural out there Silver,” Lily said.
“ Thanks,” Silver said.
“ Ever thought of doing this full-time Silver?” Lily asked.
“ I just might take you up on that offer,” Silver said before Inky’s turn started.
Cold front took the lead and looked like he was enjoying himself. After everyone finished the walk Silver, Cold Front, and Stargazer stood at the end of the runway for final judging.
“ Well I must say you three were simply stunning and I especially love Lily Lace’s Peacock Princess and the girl who modeled it,” Photo Finished said.
“ I’m with you on that but Inky’s creation and the girl wearing it have my vote,” Hoity said.
Applejack looked conflicted about who to choose since going with Star Streak would create another tie.
“ You all did an amazing job but I have to go with Lily’s outfit the colors of the dress and the girl in it complement each other,” Applejack said showing the small amount of fashion knowledge she picked up from Rarity.
Silver stood proud while the audience applauds for him. As soon as everyone left and the runway was taken down Silver left for Lily’s room to change until she stopped him.
“ Keep the outfit consider it a start to your new wardrobe,” Lily said.
“ Are you sure isn't this your signature outfit?” Silver asked.
“ I have a second one already made for the mannikin display so that one is all yours,” Lily said.
Silver was on his way out until Rarity stopped him.
“ I noticed you enjoyed yourself out there darling,” Rarity said.
“ Sure did and Lily said I could keep the outfit,” Silver said.
“ That was nice of her but may I suggest changing into something more practical choose anything you want from the shop free of charge as thanks for helping Lily in her time of need,” Rarity said.
Silver looked at everything Rarity had in stock until he spotted a teal leopard print ensemble and took it to the change room along with some three-inch heels of the same color. After Silver took the dress off he hung it then slid the skirt of his new outfit up his legs before fastening the belt it came with. Silver than put the top on along with the fur jacket it came with. After putting the heels on Silver took the dress and gave it to Rarity to put away in a dry-cleaning bag.
“ Here you are darling and feel free to come back anytime,” Rarity said before Silver left to go home.
