The siren-like roar bellowed loudly. Almost waking up the sleepy town of Ponyville. Every half hour there was a loud roar which echoed throughout the walls of the buildings. It was a miracle how no one was woken from their slumber. The time edged closer to midnight, even for winter the night was unpleasantly cold. The whole village managed to settle down for the night and the streets were silent baring the soft humming of the wind as it whipped throughout the centre. Everything was meant to be peaceful but the deafening roar shattered the peace. It was almost certain that the roar was heard in the next town over.
The roar was traced back to a very grumpy Manticore. He was taking up residence with Ponyville's best animal caretaker; Fluttershy. The Manticore had come to Fluttershy as he had a horrendous toothache and the pain became too much for him to handle on his own.
Flu season had approached fast, meaning that the young mare's cottage had been transformed into a temporary makeshift hospital; this wasn't anything new to her however as it was a yearly tradition. Fluttershy was currently flying around the small cottage frantically. Making sure that each and every animal had what they needed for the night as the pegasus wanted to call it a night soon, she needed some rest. But as each hour passed, it seemed like the animals required more and more of her attention and it was running the poor pony dry and tired.
Fluttershy was determined to keep going with her job even if her energy was being drained. She didn't want to disappoint her friends. The animal that she was currently helping was Manny Roar; who was still roaring in pain. He rested his head upon the window frame as Fluttershy cleaned his teeth. The creature had to sleep outside due to his humongous size. He glanced at the pony tending to him which made the shy pony give him a weak smile in return.
"Almost done Manny..." Fluttershy began as she flossed his teeth. "Your toothache should subside soon, you had a lot stuck between your teeth." She said softly towards the creature; who only responded by licking her face slowly, giving her appreciation for attending to him so quickly.
Fluttershy would then take flight to head towards a family of birds who had arrived just the other night, but as soon as she arrived there a pair of otters began to cry for help. Quickly changing her flight path, she made her way towards them only for the beavers to require her attention and soon enough Fluttershy was flying frantically back and forth to attend to every creature.
During all the commotion and the frantic flying around the cottage, it had raised the attention of her personal pet; Angel Bunny. He should have taken notice of this sooner as she hadn't even taken the time to come and check up on him. Angel decided that he should check on his owner and began to jump towards her.
Hopping along towards the mare, he quickly noticed that she was looking sluggish. Angel grabbed as much of her tail as he could and tugged against it hard to get her attention away from the beavers. This, in turn, startled the shy pony, causing a small yelp to escape her lips. "Oh!" She turned around in fright to see what had just tugged on her tail. "Oh, Angel... I'm sorry I didn't see you there... Whatever is the matter?" She asked with concern in her voice.
All Angel could do was cross his arms at the mare and began to pound his foot against the floor. Fluttershy was about to speak up when she heard a low growl calling her from the couch. "I'm sorry Angel, I'll be with you in just a minute. It seems like Harry needs my attention."
Fluttershy took flight, gently hovering above the ground she made her way towards the bear. Out of frustration, Angel followed along, he still wanted her attention as he began to grow jealous that he wasn't getting any from her. Fluttershy landed next to the bear and began the last check-up for the night. This was just checking on his fever to see if it had maintained or even to see if it had gone down, unfortunately, it hadn't and actually increased slightly. "Awe Harry." She said to him as he growled softly. "Don't worry about it. All you need is some rest and you'll be in tip-top shape in no time." She said to him with a small smile on her face, this was to reassure him that everything was going to be okay.
Harry let her know that she was appreciated for all her hard work by letting off a low growl and smiling at her. Fluttershy then pondered her mind, the day was almost complete and she was just about ready to call it day, she had one last animal to check up on and that animal was Rainbow Dash's pet; Tank the Tortoise. She turned around to face the kitchen door where Tank was resting and took flight.
Just as she began making her way towards the kitchen, she was about to reach about halfway when suddenly she felt excruciating pain hit her out of nowhere, striking her shoulder blades. Fluttershy let out a pained grunt as this happened. The abrupt attack against her had caused her to lose stability with her flying and she crashed into a nearby wall with full force.
BANG!
It sounded as though a tree had just collied into the small cottage, Fluttershy fell to the ground in a heap, leaving a dent in the wall. The pictures which accompanied the wall were knocked down to the ground and some even shattered against Shy's head. The glass that was protecting the photos burst upon impact, coating her in tiny fragments of glass and most of it had embedded itself into her mane. In quick response, Angel hurried over towards her. "Celestia dammit..." Fluttershy mumbled to herself as she groaned softly. The pain hit her again like a sack of bricks, this time, however, it spread across her wingspan.
The last few weeks have been very painful for her, the stabbing pain was constant and didn't seem to subside. She originally brushed it off due to the fact that she's been very stressed about all her furry and not so furry friends falling ill during this year's Flu Season, "That hurt... Like that hurt a lot..." She said as she shook herself down like a dog.
As she did this, she could hear Harry trying to talk some sense into the shy pony, begging her to relax and take a break as none of the animals would mind. They'd understand since they are the ones running her dry, "Harry... There is no time for a simple break, you all need my help and I'll be damned if I stop just cause I had a small accident," She said softly as she tried to pick herself up off the floor, however, the pain strikes back only this time it shot up her spine and along her wings. This resulted in her having to stretch her wings out to try to ease the pain, "Celestia... This is... Very painful..."
Angel watched as she did this and proceeded to tug against her mane, he wanted her to just take a break. Fluttershy rolled her eyes at the small bunny and turned to him, "Angel, please... Just stop. I know you're trying to help but you're really getting on my last nerve about it," Fluttershy then began to get herself up off the floor, her hooves began to shake violently and she fell back down.
Her body felt weak, unholy weak to be in fact. It was as almost if something had drained the energy out of her. With a huff, she lifted herself back up again, her hooves continued to shake but with little energy, she had left, she was able to pick herself up off the floor. Gently, she shook herself down to try to remove the glass that was in her mane, "I've got so many jobs to... But I've got so little time," Fluttershy said to Angel as she began walking towards the kitchen. It was in her best interest that she should avoid using her wings for the meantime.
As Fluttershy passed the bottom of her stairs she had an unusual feeling that something was watching her every move. She slowly turned her head to glance up the stairs which only had answered her suspicion. Standing above her at the very top of the stairs was a very tired looking Marshmallow, they were wrapped up in a pink robe which was supported by matching slippers and their mane was an unkempt mess, "Fluttershy..." They yawned, "Are you coming to bed at some point tonight?"
The pony in question sounded like they had just been woken up. Fluttershy kicked the floor slightly at the question as she was the possible suspect in that. "Oh yeah... I will be, I'll be up soon Rarity..." She looked away from her. "Just doing the checkups on all the animals before I do... You know how it is this time of year..." She began to hear the hoofsteps of Rarity as she began her descent down the stairs, this, in turn, panicked Fluttershy slightly. "Yo-You know how it is during Flu season..." She repeated. "I do have a job to keep maintained..." Her sentence was suddenly cut short due to the same sudden pain striking back again, allowing a quiet groan to escape her lips. To try to manage the pain she slowly flapped her wings softly in a vain effort to ease the pain.
"Can you tell me what that loud bang was then, darling?" Rarity asked as she reached the bottom of the stairs, now standing beside Fluttershy. She knew something was off with the shy pony, just by the way she was standing, seemingly facing away from her. "Are you okay? You seem slightly." She coughed. "Out of it." She had raised concern.
Fluttershy would simply nod at her as she couldn't find the right words to say, she was clearly lying to her and that would be the main reason why she couldn't say anything to her. Fluttershy hated lying and would always try to avoid it, but on this occasion. It was needed.
Rarity's eyes then drifted to the floor where she spotted the broken picture frames. A loud gasp followed in suit. "Oh, darling!" Her horn lit up which made Fluttershy turn her attention towards her. She spotted one of the picture frames that was scattered across the floor and the picture that was inside it. It began to levitate into the air and floated passed her head as it made its way towards Rarity. "What happened? This was your favourite picture! The only reason why it was up was that you loved it so much..." Rarity looked at the mare which caused Fluttershy's ears to flatten at the gaze.
The image in question was a capture of true love between the two mares, they were seated by the pond just off the edge of Ponyville as the image had the tower and town in the distance. Rarity had her hooves wrapped around Fluttershy with her lips pressed against her cheek. Fluttershy on the other hoof had her face covered up slightly as she was staring directly at the camera.
The pegasus sighed heavily as she remembered that day, a small smile appeared on her face. "Yeah... I know..." Her eyes drifted to Rarity's. "It really is a lovely photo of us..." Her gaze went back to the photo. "What happened was... I had a small incident while flying towards the kitchen... I lost my bearings and hit the wall with full force." Her eyes began watering, she felt terrible about the accident. "I'm... I'm really sorry Rarity." Her voice cracked. "I didn't mean to break it..."
At the sound of her voice cracking, Rarity's ears flattened. The thing she hated the most was seeing her marefriend so upset and distraught. She placed the picture down on the ground and pulled her into a hug. "I-I..." Fluttershy choked on her words as she started to cry, she burried her muzzle into Rarity's robe.
"Hey." Rarity spoke in a soft tone. "It's okay Fluttershy..." She gently began to stroke her mane, trying to calm the upset mare in her embrace. Rarity wanted to make sure that the pegasus knew that everything was okay.
"I've just been so stressed about my animals..." Fluttershy managed to get out, pulling away from the embrace to look Rarity in the eyes. "Each day more and more animals come to my cottage really sick and looking for somepony to nurse them back to health..." She told her half of the truth, neglecting to mention the pain that caused the accident. "I... I think it's getting too much for me to handle on my own..."
Rarity nodded at her, taking in what she was saying. "You know I'm here for you Fluttershy and you should know that by now." She placed a hoof on her shoulder. "You've never been this stressed before, you've always powered through." Rarity then planted a reasuring kiss on her forehead, making Fluttershy look up at her. Every single time Rarity kissed her on the forehead she has always felt safe. Rarity levitated a tissue over and helped wipe away the tears from her eyes,
"How about," Rarity started her sentence which made Fluttershy's ears perk up, "How about tomorrow you and I go and do something together, just me and you. Things like a much-needed spa visit or a lovely stroll through Canterlot!" Rarity suggested to her, "This would give you at least a day off from all these animals,"
"Oh no... I can't do that Rarity... These animals all need my help... I just can't get up and leave," Fluttershy said to her as she looked away from the unicorn as she couldn't face her, "I need to be on my hooves all season 24/7," Rarity mentally rolled her eyes, she is too nice for her own good.
She had to ponder her mind for a minute, thinking of something else to get Fluttershy out of the mindset that she's needed that much. Rarity tapped her hoof against her chin then came up with the perfect idea, "Okay then... Why don't you ask for help? I'm sure the girls would be delighted to help you, after all, you've done a lot for them I'm sure they'll return the favour,"
As soon as Rarity said this however, another idea bounced into her head which prompted her to gasp loudly, "Oh darling! How about this? You take the day off and the girls and I will take over all the animal caretaker duty things? So that's me, Pinkie, Twilight, Applejack and Rainbow Dash, we could get double the chores done," Rarity said smiling at her, she hoped that Fluttershy would take her suggestion, however, Fluttershy didn't like that idea.
"Oh... No, I don't really know about that... I think that's a really bad idea," She started, "I can't bear to be even a minute away from them let alone a day..."
"Oh for Celestia sake Fluttershy!" Rarity snapped at the shy mare prompting her to flinch, "Please! For crying out loud! I don't want you to go another day feeling like this!" Rarity never felt the need to raise her voice at Fluttershy, but this time, this time it was much needed to yell. "You deserve relaxation! These animals wait on your fore and hind hoof! It's draining you so tomorrow you are taking the day off and I'm not taking no as an answer," Fluttershy shook slightly at the mare yelling at her, "I-I'm sorry," Rarity said quietly, lowering her head a bit, "I didn't mean to yell, but please Fluttershy... For your own health, let me help you," She then placed a hoof onto her shoulder, "Take a break tomorrow? For me and you,"
Fluttershy stopped shaking as Rarity calmed down, her ears flattened as she sighed heavily. She should take a break for her health, maybe she could take Angel out for a little walk. She did need to visit Dr Fauna for more medicine. "I... I mean for you Rarity, I'll take a break..." She smiled sheepishly.
Rarity's lightened up at the sentence, "Oh wonderful! Now, to help you with the stress, I think you could go for a nice bubble bath," Fluttershy's ears perked up at the words 'bubble bath' "I'll even sit with you and we can go over the things you could do tomorrow," She softly smiled at the mare, but something else came to mind which caused her ears to flatten.
Recently, since winter started, Rarity was seeing less and less of Fluttershy and she didn't really notice until now and in reality this little moment right here that they were having was the most time they've spent together since winter started, "You know something... This is the most time we've spent together in a long time, your animals have taken up all of your time and attention," She looked away from her which prompted Fluttershy to look at her, "It's starting to feel like I'm not enough for you anymore... and you've gotten bored of me..."
"Oh... I'm sorry Rarity... I'm really, really sorry," Her eyes began to water once again upon hearing that, "It was never my intention to ever make you feel like this... I promise I'll change... Change for the better," She then felt the stabbing pain again, she didn't want to make it obvious so she played it off by ruffling her wings.
"I don't want you to change darling, you are perfect just the way you are. All I want from you is for you to be happy but currently, these sick animals are dragging you down," She smiles at her and hugs her again. Her hooves ended up touching the spot that was causing Fluttershy pain.
The sudden touch caused the pain to become almost unbearable causing Shy's face to turn sour, "Shit..." Was the first word to slip out of her mouth, Rarity had unwrapped herself and looked at the mare with a raised eyebrow. She has never heard Fluttershy swear before, this was something new. The word slipped out accidentally as the shy pony didn't want to catch the attention of the unicorn, but that was a little too late. Fluttershy has never wanted to bring Rarity into any of her useless drama...
"I um... Fluttershy, darling, is everything alright? I don't think I've ever heard you curse before," Fluttershy looked back towards her wings, "Is something bothering you?" She then looked back at Rarity and takes a deep breath, she was going to take this on the chin and tell her everything that was happening to her.
"I'm going to be 100% honest with you right now..." Rarity nodded at her, "I'm in pain... Like a lot of pain Rarity... I'm having some sort of stabbing pain in my wings or my back I can't really tell... Its how I really crashed into the wall..." Rarity couldn't help but smile softly at the fact that Fluttershy told her the truth.
"In that case, you definitely could use that bubble bath that I may or may not have mentioned earlier," She smiles at her, "The pain might just be stress from this year's flu season," Rarity got up, "Would you like my lavender bubble bath? Or wanna use the joke bubble bath Pinkie sent over a month back that's supposed to make your coat smell like freshly cut grass," Fluttershy couldn't help but chuckle.
"I would like the lavender one... It smells like you," She said softly which made Rarity nod.
"Then I'll get that ready for you," Just as she was about to head up the stairs, Fluttershy lightly coughed to gain her attention. This made the mare stop in her tracks, "Yes Darling?" She turned to face her.
"Any chance... You could join me this time? If you want to, that is..." She lightly kicked the ground and looked up at her with wide eyes, this had Rarity give her a soft smile before nodding at her, "Yey," She said quietly which caused the unicorn to chuckle softly at her signature yet.
"I could use a bath actually so yeah, I'll join you in there," Rarity then began to climb the stairs again, "Now, you finish off what you were doing, avoid using those wings and I'll run the bath for us," Soon she vanished out of Fluttershy's sight.
Fluttershy stayed at the bottom of the stairs for a little longer, she sighed heavily as she eventually got up off the ground and made her way towards the kitchen for her final check-up; Tank. Angel watched the whole conversation between the two mares and followed closely behind her.
Fluttershy walked through the doorway of the kitchen, there was no need for her to rush things. As she entered the kitchen she instantly spotted Tank slowly making his way towards the makeshift bed that Shy had fixed up for him earlier that day, she smiled at the little guy before trotting over to go help him into the bed, "You'll be back with Rainbow Dash very soon Tank," Fluttershy went behind him and gently guided him.
The tortoise smiled slowly at her, "Rarity will be the one to check up on you tomorrow, so be good for her you hear me," She chuckled softly as Tank nodded at her. Now that she was satisfied that each of her sick animal friends was comfortable for the night, she began making her way out of the kitchen only for a certain bunny to jump right in front of her, this made her come to a stop.
"Angel? What's the matter?" She said to him and the response she got was him thumping the ground with his foot hard, "Oh shoot yeah... I'm really sorry Angel, you'll just have to go without supper tonight I had to use the last of your food for some of the other animals..." He just scoffed at her before dashing away towards his bed, "I wish you would understand..." It wasn't long after that when the pain struck back. Her eyes began to water, "Oh fuck..." She said silently.
Fluttershy would always avoid swearing at all costs, it just wasn't in her nature, but sometimes when she's alone it would just slip out. The pain she was experiencing felt like somepony was peeling away her feathers one by one, ever so slowly so that the pain would linger and stick around, "This is just unfair... What did I ever do to deserve this? I should just try to fly, maybe it has calmed down now that I've spoken to Rarity," She mumbled to herself as she took flight and began to head towards the stairs.
She instantly regretted that decision as the pain did not subside, causing her to groan in pain, "Ow... Ow... Yeah okay, bad idea Fluttershy..." She gently landed and tucked her wings in to avoid any more pain, she took the stairs by hoof and started trotting towards the bottom of the stairwell. "I should go see Nurse Redheart in the morning," She said quietly to herself, however, the low growl and encouragement from Harry the bear made her chuckle, "Alright Harry, I'll go see her tomorrow," She then began to climb the stairs.
Nurse Redheart was taking in more hours by letting residents come in for the littlest problems, from a grazed knee to a runny nose she'd take it just so she could get some extra money. It wouldn't be the first time she would be in for her issue as just a few weeks back she was in there talking to her about her problem.
It didn't take her long until she reached the top of the stairs and the sound of the water running from within the bathroom had filled her ears and made them twitch slightly, as she made her way along the top floor of her cottage she couldn't help but smile at the thought of the two of them having a bath together it made her get small butterflies in her stomach. As she arrived at the bathroom door the water was switched off and the sound of Rarity humming.
Nudging the door open she poked her head inside, "Rares?" She said softly which made the unicorn stop humming and turn around to face her, "I've decided that I want to go see Nurse Redheart tomorrow morning,"
Rarity raised an eyebrow at her statement, "Nurse Redheart? Darling, she charges extra for early morning visits, we can't afford it. Couldn't you simply wait until the afternoon when she's free?" Rarity asked her as Shy walked in and closed the door. She sat down next to her and made her ears flatten and her eyes widen, it was the Fluttershy Puppy Dog Eyes, a look that Rarity could never resist that look.
"I mean... Fluttershy..." She sighed, "If you're having pains I'll see if I can ask my parents to lend a few bits and pay them back," Fluttershy nodded at her slowly, "Alright darling, I'll get you a few extra bits for that appointment," She smiled at her, "First things first, however, would you like me to have a look at your wings? I might be able to save you a trip to the hospital," Rarity asked her, she was concerned for her marefriend.
Fluttershy gave her a small nod, "If you don't mind..." Rarity nodded at her which gave her the indication to turn around and face her back towards her, "So... I have a few ideas on what I can do tomorrow... Well, one... Angel and I could head to Dr Fauna and get some medicine for the animals," She mentioned as Rarity began looking at her back.
"That's going to be a no Darling, no work on your day off, I'll get the medicine," Rarity started, "Now, your morning will be taken up mainly by Nurse Redheart so that's sorted. For the afternoon..." Rarity pondered her mind before she had an idea, "Oh! You've been talking about seeing your parents lately, why don't you go see them?" She smiled to her as Shy lowered her head slightly.
"Yeah... I've been saying that for a month now... I wanted to go see them with you this time..." Her ears flattened, "My dad always compares me to Zephyr, saying how great he is and so on, while he completely ignores my achievements... If you came with me one time maybe he'll stop being so harsh with me..."
"Ah yeah... You mentioned that about your father," Rarity said as she heard the mare in front of her sigh, "Hearth's Warming is approaching, why not invite them over? I wouldn't mind cooking more food," Rarity suggested which made her ears perk up at the idea, "Can you spread your wings so I can have a proper look please?" Shy complies, spreading her wings so that Rarity could have a proper look to see if there is a problem.
"Rarity... You said that your parents are wanting you to go over this year... You've been going on about it since the Running Of The Leaves..."
"Oh shoot, yeah I have, haven't I?..." She stopped for a minute, "Then why don't we... Host them this year?! Both mine and your parents! It'll be so much fun darling! Then we can finally let them know about us," Rarity said with hints of joy in her voice, "Snap Shutter asked if I could take Scootaloo this year so Sweetie Belle will have a friend, why not let Zephyr invite a friend of his?"
"Oh... I don't know Rarity... It does sound like a really good idea, don't get me wrong... But I don't know about inviting Zephyr... I'd just rather have our parents with Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo," Shy said as she felt Rarity beginning to poke around her back, "We can invite them over... My cottage is big enough,"
Rarity chuckled to herself, "Surprisingly, considering when I first saw your cottage it looked tiny!" She heard Fluttershy laugh slightly which made her smile, she took her wing within her hoof "Now let's see..." She stopped talking as she stretched her wing outwards. What she saw caused a loud gasp to escape her lips, "Oh dear Celestia!" Her horn lit up as she used her magic to grip the ends of her wings so she could stretch them out further.
The skin on her wing was bright red and some of her feathers were missing, it was swelling slightly and boiling. She was showing symptoms of a second-degree burn, "Fluttershy darling, what happened?"
"What do you mean... Is it bad?"
"Is it bad? Yes, it is bad!" Rarity sighed heavily, "Your skin is red, boiling and swelling," She started, "Did somepony attack you?" She was now concerned for her safety. Fluttershy's ears flattened, her skin was burnt? That couldn't be possible... She wished she could see the damage for herself.
This was the pain that has been with her for weeks now... If it was as bad as Rarity was making it out to be, why hasn't she pointed it out earlier? She had been sitting in silence as she pondered her mind leaving Rarity hanging.
"Fluttershy? Please answer me, has somepony hurt you?" Rarity repeated her question. Fluttershy broke out of her thoughts and shook her head slowly. "I'm sure Nurse Redheart will have some burn cream for you," Rarity then lightly pokes her back.
The sudden touch prompted Fluttershy's body to jolt up and the mare to turn around and hiss at her. This provoked Rarity's eyes to widen and her facial expression to turn in to a frightened one. Fluttershy's natural calm blue eyes had turned into a piercing blood red. However, before Rarity could take in everything Fluttershy saw her expression and her eyes almost instantly turned back, she quickly turned away,
"Oh... I'm sorry Rarity, I don't know what just happened... What you did really hurt..." Rarity didn't answer her back, Fluttershy slowly turned around to see the blank stare that she was giving her, "Rarity?..."
"Get into the tub Fluttershy," She said to her, her tone was flat, which honestly scared Fluttershy.
"Did you... um, hear me?" Shy said, looking into her eyes, just as she said that Rarity's short lit up and Shy felt herself being lifted into the air. She began to fidget within her grasp, "Rarity... You know how much I don't like being held with magic..."
"Well if you just listened to me when I said get into the tub then we wouldn't be in this situation," Rarity then lowered the mare down into the water as Shy's ears flattened so did her coat as it quickly dampened. The water was like a warm fuzzy feeling, this made a small smile form of Fluttershy's face, "How are you feeling?"
"Um... Okay, I guess..." She slightly paddled in the water a bit, allowing the water to sway back and forth against the tub, "The I guess part is coming from the pains I've been having..." She added on as the water began to soothe her coat, "This water feels amazing," Fluttershy cooed as Rarity moved closer to the tub, "I'm sorry about earlier..." She brought up the incident again.
"You don't need to keep saying sorry Darling," Rarity started, "It was a shock, I've never seen you do that before and it was sort of scary, but I'm guessing it hurts real bad then?" She placed a hoof on Shy's cheek, prompting the other mare to rub her face into it. Rarity couldn't help but smile at her.
"Yeah... It does hurt... Like a lot..." She whimpered as she stopped nuzzling into her hoof and stared at her, "Are you getting in with me? Or are you going to sit there and watch me," Fluttershy smirked slightly which made the unicorn chuckle.
"As much as I could watch you for hours, darling, it would be more productive if I actually joined you," Rarity smiled at her, "Now I'll get in behind you so scooch forward," Fluttershy followed what she was asked and moved forward, allowing Rarity to climb into the tub.
Rarity took off her pink robe and slippers. Stripping down fully she got in behind Fluttershy and allowed the water to damp her coat. She sighed happily as she leaned back, "You were absolutely right about this water, it's simply divine. The best thing is, the bottle I used for the bubbles, is the bottle from home the one you love,"
"Oh! Wonderful!" Fluttershy smiled brightly, "If I start missing you when you're at your house I can just run myself another bubble bath just to feel close to you," She chuckled at what she said before shifting around, in hope she'd get comfy, "Sorry if I'm wiggling, I'm just trying to get comfortable but it's painful,"
"Don't worry about it Fluttershy, just relax and let the water soak into your coat, it might help ease some of the pain," She then uses her magic to bring over some of Shy's favourite shampoo, she squirts some out and began to help her wash her mane. This had Fluttershy let out a small sigh, "Now while you're away tomorrow taking a much-needed break, the girls and I will take care of everything so you can come home to a stress-free environment,"
This got Fluttershy thinking again, which wasn't a good idea as she usually spins out of control, "But... None of you will be able to understand them, how will you know what they'll need?" Fluttershy said to her which made Rarity huff, "I mean none of you can actually speak to them like I can, it'll be 10 times harder! Maybe I shouldn't go..."
Rarity rolled her eyes, thankfully Fluttershy couldn't see her, "Darling... You're taking a break and that's final. No ifs no buts," She sternly said to her, "Got it?"
“Fluttershy? Yoo-hoo! Fluttershy!” Pinkie Pie called out. Fluttershy stared blankly at the pink mare, unfazed by the painfully bright torch she was waving in her face. Pinkie Pie pushed her nose against Shy’s. This wasn’t a smart move as Fluttershy spread her wings and hissed at the mare. Startled, Pinkie fell off the branch and came tumbling down to the ground. She started to sway back and forth trying to regain herself.
“That’s not Fluttershy... That’s Flutterbat!” Rarity called out, causing the rest of the group to take several steps back. This, however, did not include the fashionista.
“We’ve gotta get her down from there!” Twilight shouted to the girls, prompting a nod from the others. Rarity glanced back towards the group, fear written across their faces.
“Uh… Fluttershy, sweetness, please come down, and… do stop being a vampire bat,” Rarity finally spoke, hoping that Fluttershy would come down and stop being a bat. To no one’s surprise, Fluttershy hissed at Rarity, whose ears flattened slightly at the sound.
Deciding to take a head-on approach, Rainbow Dash flew right up next to Fluttershy. The mare looked directly at her.
“Fluttershy! It’s me, Rainbow Dash! Why don’t you cut the bat act and come on down?!” She soon regretted that statement as Fluttershy extended her wings and started flapping them.
“Whoa!” Dash said as she was knocked back a few feet. Defeated, she made her way down towards the girls. “Maybe we should just let her come down when she’s ready.”
They all turned their heads up to look at the branch only to discover Fluttershy was no longer there. Without warning, Fluttershy suddenly reappeared and began flying circles around them. The girls huddled close together, shaking in fright.
“Flutterbat on the loose! Run for your lives!” Pinkie shouted as she scrambled and began digging a hole to hide from the terror. Twilight walked over to her side.
“Pinkie Pie, calm down! See?” She pointed back up at the branch. Fluttershy had returned and was hanging upside down from the branch, her teeth piercing into a fresh red apple. “She’s back on her… branch.”
Pinkie shook her head at the alicorn. “She’s just biding her time! Waiting for the right moment to pounce!”
“Pinkie Pie,” Applejack scoffed, clearly annoyed at her friend’s over-dramatization of the situation. “Bats don’t eat ponies. Not even vampire bats.”
“But maybe vampire ponies eat other ponies! I’m not taking any chances!” Suddenly Pinkie’s mane took on the form of a drill, which began to dig furiously into the ground. The other girls stood frozen in shock for a few moments before Rarity spoke.
“How did this happen? That's what I don't understand,”
“I think this was actually our fault,” Twilight said.
Rainbow raised an eyebrow at her. “Our fault?”
“And how'd you figure that?” Applejack asked.
Twilight smiled, her horn lighting up in her usual purple aura.
A large blue grid formed in front of her, “Okay, so this is me.” She made a small hologram of herself appear. “These are the bats.” She then made one for the bats. “And this is Fluttershy doing her stare.” Another hologram appeared showing Fluttershy, and several red curved lines began to travel from it until they hit the bats. “The spell was supposed to go right onto the bats like this.”
A purple line came from Twilight’s hologram toward the bats, surrounding them in a purple aura. The aura deflected the red lines from the bats back toward Fluttershy. “But somehow the spell must have backfired. It took the vampire fruit bats’ desire to be vampire fruit bats and transferred that desire into Fluttershy.” The hologram of Fluttershy took on a much darker tone, representing Flutterbat.
Twilight terminated her little makeshift grid and made her way back over to her friends. “C’mon! We’ll reverse the spell and make it right!”
As Twilight finished her sentence, the girls heard a loud drilling noise and Pinkie suddenly burst out of the ground, landing on all fours and looking at them. “Then what are we waiting for? Let’s save Fluttershy before that thing eats us all!” she yelled, which enticed Flutterbat to fly directly at them.
“Hit the deck!” Rainbow Dash yelled to everyone, they all yelped and hit the ground as Flutterbat swooped past them before flying away.
“Follow that bat!!” Pinkie screamed as the girls began running in the same direction, in pursuit of Flutterbat.
The group had been searching for what felt like hours, and Rarity began fearing the worst. While they were walking, she was making small comments like “What if we can’t find her…” and “What if we can’t cure her…” Twilight had assured Rarity that everything would be okay.
What the girls didn’t know was that Rarity and Fluttershy were dating, hence why Rarity was clearly more worried than the others. They hadn’t been dating for long, but it was long enough for Rarity to realise that she was truly in love with the other mare. She couldn’t believe what was happening to her darling Fluttershy, and if what Twilight was telling the group was true… then she felt completely shitty about convincing Fluttershy to use her Stare against the bats. Even though Rarity made some very valid points, Applejack clearly had the stronger argument against the matter.
As she walked behind the rest of the group, overthinking the situation, she could barely hear Rainbow Dash suggesting that they split up to cover more of the orchard. She could overhear Twilight saying something along the lines that Dash was being stupid.
Rarity looked up to add her input on the situation, only to notice she was now alone.
“Girls?” she said as she looked around. She was completely alone. “Seriously? Has nopony seen any horror films? It’s normally the gay one who dies first… I DON’T WANNA DIE!” She whined.
Rarity began walking around the orchard searching for the other mares. “I hate the farm at night… It’s always creepy…” Just as she finished the sentence she heard a loud hiss behind her.
Quickly spinning around, she saw the blur of Flutterbat diving towards her. Not thinking, she screamed loudly trying to gain the girls’ attention but it was cut short by Flutters tackling her to the ground.
She pinned Rarity down, the mud on the ground covering her mane and coat. Rarity closed her eyes as she heard the pony on top of her growl. “I knew it… I’m dead… I’m so dead…” She slowly opened her eyes to see the mare staring down at her.
Her naturally calm blue eyes were a crimson red shade, her mouth hung open as saliva dripped down and landed on Rarity’s chest. She was ready to attack. “Fluttershy… Darling…” she managed to get out. “This isn’t you!”
Flutterbat hissed at her and stomped her hooves down onto Rarity’s, who let out a groan. In quick response, Rarity’s horn began to emit light, shooting a beam high into the air. Flutterbat looked up, watching the beam as it got brighter. Rarity prayed that the other girls would see the light and find her location.
“I’m… Sorry…” Flutterbat mumbled softly.
“W-What?”
The next few moments went by in a flash. Flutterbat looked back down at her, hissing at the unicorn and baring her teeth. Her eyes glowed crimson red and Rarity felt her heart sink down into her stomach. Flutterbat saw her as one thing and one thing only…

Flutterbat moved her head rapidly in one quick motion as she latched onto her neck like a vice and punctured her skin...
“AHHHH!” Rarity’s body jolted awake as she sat up, her heart racing and her breathing heavy. Her body glistened with sweat and, once again, her mane was a mess. Swiftly, she brought a hoof to her neck only to feel…. nothing…No puncture wound. It was just a dream… ” More like a nightmare if you ask me…” she thought, slowly laying back down as she tried to recover from her vivid nightmare.
Turning her head to one side, Rarity spotted Fluttershy, still miraculously asleep. Her lips gently formed a smile. She then looked up at the ceiling as she began to ponder. She never had a nightmare like that before… Granted, she has had nightmares in which Fluttershy turned into Flutterbat… but she had never dreamt of the night like that before…
” The way she hissed at me in the nightmare… It was like the one in the bathroom… Is it possible that she is still?... No, she can’t be… If she was still like that it would be obvious to spot,” Rarity groaned in frustration, unable to wrap her head around it.
As she laid there, overthinking, the sun began to poke past the blinds, a light shining into the room and upon the sleeping mare. Fluttershy groaned and pulled the covers over her head to avoid the glare.
Rarity grinned at her. “Wakey wakey darling,” she said softly.
“Noo…”Fluttershy cooed. “I don’t want to get up yet,” Fluttershy mumbled to her as she pulled the covers inwards to hide from the sun that seemed to grow brighter as the seconds passed.
“Well, you’re a very busy mare today. The main thing is that you want to see the nurse today. So why don’t you get your lazy butt out of bed! You’ll want to get there before it gets too crowded.”
Fluttershy sat up instantly, hugging the covers. “Oh… I do hate crowds…” she said quietly as she turned to face Rarity. “I will need to go in now… Can you please come with me? To… um… make the appointment?”
“Of course I will darling!” Rarity grinned at her. “I can then go to Twilight’s after and call a meeting to let them know about you needing their help.” Rarity climbed out of bed, sliding her front hooves into her purple slippers.
Fluttershy turned her body around to face her, “Rarity… Can you um… Can you please brush my mane?” she quietly asked. which gained a slight nod from Rarity. Fluttershy smiled at her.
“I love brushing your mane, it's always so soft.” Rarity began to walk towards Fluttershy’s desk to find her brush, “Also, before I went to sleep last night, I contacted my parents, who said they are willing to lend us a few bits,”
“They are so sweet” Fluttershy smiled softly as she climbed out of bed. Rarity had found the brush and turned around only to see how messy Shy’s mane was, prompting her to giggle.
“Yes… I know it’s bad, there is no need to laugh at my misfortune.”
Rarity tried to contain herself. “I’m sorry darling, your mane is so wild I had to giggle.” She walked over towards the bed and sat down beside her. “Now, would you like me to braid it?”
“Ooo, yes please,” she said as she moved closer to Rarity. “That is… if you don’t mind doing it…”
“Honestly darling, if I minded I wouldn’t have offered to do it for you,” she chuckled to herself as she allowed Fluttershy to sit between her legs, levitating the brush over her head. “This will take a little longer, mind you.”
“Oh, I don’t mind, I really like it when you brush my mane anyways,” she said, beaming to herself as Rarity began to separate her mane into three sections. “It's without a doubt the best feeling ever…”
“I’m glad that you enjoy it.” Rarity started running the brush through the first section of her mane. She decided to avoid mentioning the nightmare she had, but she couldn’t brush off how real it felt. She didn’t want to mention it in fear of sending Shy’s stress levels through the roof and worrying herself sick.
As Rarity brushed and started to slowly move one section of her mane over another, Fluttershy started to think about this year's upcoming Hearth's Warming celebration and what they spoke about last night. It was only a few weeks away and this year, there was a chance that Rarity’s parents and her parents would be there… together… all under one roof… for a week.
” Oooh… I didn’t think this through… I really want to kiss Rarity under the mistletoe… Wait…” Fluttershy didn’t really think about it really. She has never kissed Rarity, never! Her eyes widened as she wiggled a bit, causing Rarity to mess up as she pushed down hard with the brush, which got it stuck in her mane.
“Shoot! Sorry, darling, I wasn’t expecting you to move so suddenly, and…” She tried to move the brush but it became tangled in her mane. “It’s stuck, just bare with me.” Rarity began to try to untangle it. “Are you okay?” Fluttershy left her hanging for a minute, “Fluttershy? Are you listening to me?”
Fluttershy shakes her head slightly to break out of her thoughts. “Huh, what?” Rarity had managed to get the brush out as Fluttershy’s head was pulled back slightly. “What was the question?”
“I was asking if you’re okay. You went all silent on me.” Rarity resumed with what she was doing. “You went off in your own little world,” she beamed.
“Oh… Sorry I didn’t mean to ignore you…” Her ears flattened. “Yeah, I was in my own little world… Nothing to worry about.” She tried to move her head but Rarity used her magic to turn her head back around, “Sorry…”
“You should know by now that if I’m styling your mane you can’t turn around, it’ll mess it up,” Rarity said as she continued to braid. “Would you like to talk about what got you so distracted?”
“It’s nothing important… Don’t worry…” She lightly tapped her front hooves together. “How long will you be now?” she asked.
“This shouldn’t take too long now, just need to make sure that it’s not gonna fall out midday,” Rarity said as Fluttershy felt her tightening up the bobble that was holding her mane. “Is that okay?”
“Yeah… That’s fine… We should be able to get to the hospital in time before it gets crowded…” She then began to kick her legs slightly.
“You did want me to come with you to make an appointment, right?” Rarity asked her =, Shy nodding slowly in response. “I’ll be done in 5 minutes tops.”
The two of them head out of the front door and Rarity locked up. they had finished getting ready, and they had to sneak downstairs to try to avoid waking up any of the sleeping animals. They didn’t want to deal with angry furry friends in the morning. However, they had missed breakfast, but could always grab a bite to eat while they were out.
Both mares walked side by side, smiling at each other as they made their way into Ponyville’s centre. Something had been lingering in Fluttershy’s mind all morning while she was getting ready; the first kiss dilemma was starting to get to her. She wanted to kiss Rarity badly, but she was afraid.
Don’t get her wrong, there was the occasional cheek or forehead kiss but that was about it. The first time Rarity mentioned kissing, Fluttershy said that she wanted her first kiss to be perfect. But now that she has been really thinking about it, no matter where or when she had her first kiss, if it was with Rarity, it would be perfect.
While she was deep in thought about ways to ask Rarity if she could kiss her, the unicorn in question broke her train of thought by asking, “Oh, completely forgot to ask you this sweetness, but how’s your back this morning?” Fluttershy turned to face her, smiling at her softly.
“My back? I mean it still kinda hurts… I’m sure Nurse Redheart will be able to help me with the pain… Hopefully…” Her ears flatten, but they instantly shot back up as she beamed. “But in good news, I really do love how you did my mane.”
Rarity smiled brightly at her, but then suddenly she had an idea. “Oooo!” She halted as they passed Fluttershy’s flower garden. “Do you mind if I take three flower heads?” Fluttershy stopped right next to her and raised an eyebrow slightly.
“I um… Yeah, of course, you can Rarity… But can I ask why?” Upon receiving an okay, Rarity’s horn lights up brightly and her blue aura surrounds three flower heads and picks them off with ease. “Rarity?” Fluttershy repeated as Rarity turned to face her and began placing them in her mane, making it truly stand out. “Oh wow, Rarity. ” She gives her another soft smile before pulling her into a hug.
“You look absolutely stunning darling!” Rarity returned the hug before continuing walking down the pathway, making small talk along the way.
Even though it was winter and most of the ground was coated in a thick fluffy white blanket, the pathways were clear, making it easier for ponies to get around. As they got about halfway to town, Fluttershy mentioned something that once again made Rarity stop in her tracks.
“Um, Rarity…” Her head hung low. “What’s the reason behind this time?...”
Fluttershy and Rarity’s relationship was behind closed doors, unmentioned to any of their friends and family. The two had agreed that it was best for Fluttershy’s nerves that they kept their relationship a secret. Every time the two wanted to spend any time together, they had felt the need to make up some elaborate story about why they were caught on a picnic together, or why they would spend the night at each other’s houses.
Everything needed a reason and that reason could not include anything about them dating. Rarity was very patient with the shy mare. Fluttershy didn’t deserve her. After Rarity neglected to respond, her ears flattened again.
“The reason behind this time darling could be simply the fact that you took on way too much work with your animals this year,” Rarity eventually told her as she turned to face Fluttershy, placing her hoof against her cheek. Fluttershy gently nuzzled into her, feeling loved and appreciated. “This isn’t a lie neither, for once.” She gave her a soft smile as Fluttershy looked into her eyes. “Have I ever told you that you have such stunning eyes darling?” she said, blush appearing on Fluttershy’s cheeks.
“M-Multiple times a day…” She chuckled lightly. “And a lot in front of my animals as well… You don’t realise the embarrassment of Angel Bunny the first night you did… He wouldn’t shut up after you left… All the smart remarks he said.” She grinned as Rarity started giggling. “You don’t even want to know what I had to do to stop him.”
“Oh, I could only imagine.” The two began walking again and the girls continued to laugh and giggle.
Little did the girls know, there was a certain blue pegasus above them, positioning the clouds for the next big snowfall. She just finished placing the last one when she noticed the two walking away from Fluttershy’s cottage. Smirking, she decided to eavesdrop by following them on a cloud so she wouldn’t be spotted.
“Is there any chance we could pick these berries from the bushes over there? It’s Harry’s favourite meal when he’s sick, this is to help you since you’re looking after him” Fluttershy asked Rarity, getting her to once again stop in her tracks. “He likes Elderberries, Damson and Blackberries,”
“Of course darling, but if you want to get to the hospital early you’ve got to stop getting me to stop.” Rarity chuckled as her horn glowed brightly. “And I was thinking as well, maybe we should go for another picnic? Just the two of us on the fields out of town. That way nopony could accidentally stumble upon us,”
“Oh, I’d really love that.” She said to her as she stood next to her, watching as Rarity began to pick the berries. “I would also love for us to spend a night in.”
“Well we could do that tonight,” Rarity stated, “when you’re back and I’ve helped with the animals.”
Fluttershy nodded at her, “Brilliant!” She grinned at her as Fluttershy looked right at her, which caused Rarity to raise an eyebrow at the staring, “Is everything okay? You’ve been staring at me for 2 minutes without blinking.”
“Can I…” She began as Rarity turned around to face her. Fluttershy’s eyes glanced toward her lips. She has always struggled to say what she wanted; even if it was just a hug, she found expressing her to be difficult. “Can I… Um…”
“Fluttershy sweetness, you can tell me anything. You know that right?” She smiled at her which only made Fluttershy kick the ground slightly. “But take your time so you don’t stumble over your words.” Rarity’s horn stopped glowing as she took a break from picking berries, giving Shy her full attention.
“We… We normally give each other… Little kisses, like on the cheek and the forehead… But we haven’t done the lips yet…” Shy mumbled out to her, catching her marefriend completely off guard. “I’m afraid… I’m afraid I’ll be bad, and you’ll hate me for it… And leave me…”
“Whatever has brought this on?” she asked her as Fluttershy looked down. “But come to think of it, yeah. I suppose you’re right darling, we haven’t kissed on the lips yet, but you said to me that you weren't ready yet! Don’t try to make it out like I don’t want to, because I’ve wanted to for a while now.” Fluttershy kicked the ground once again, moving the dirt around.
“I was thinking about it this morning, while you were doing my mane… I was being silly and a little stupid, I don’t even know why I was saying that I wanted to wait for the perfect moment… When… Any time and place with you is perfect…” She looked up at her with wide eyes, the comment made a small blush form on Rarity’s face. She beamed softly at Flutters and pulled her into a hug.
“Then stop thinking about it,” Rarity started. “Follow your heart dear, take the lead whenever you want something.” Within a few seconds of saying that Fluttershy pushed Rarity down to the ground, gaining an audible oof from her. Fluttershy towered above her, pinning her to the floor. “Well…” Rarity coughed, “Not in a place like this of course…”
“But… You did say follow your heart.” Rarity was about to say something but a blush came back to her face, making her chuckle softly. “This is what my heart wants right now…”
“Fluttershy,” she cleared her throat, “We should really do this somewhere… less open…” Fluttershy looked into her eyes, Rarity could look at them for hours, “Wow… I could get lost in your eyes for hours,” she gave her a soft smile, “But please, can we do this tonight?” Fluttershy then leaned down and kissed her hard against her lips. At first, Rarity was tense from her pushing her to the ground, but she soon relaxed.
However, Fluttershy just had her lips against Rarity’s and didn’t move them at all. Rarity pushes Fluttershy up slightly. “Fluttershy, darling? You do know you have to actually move your lips?”
Embarrassment washed over her as she blushed heavily. She quickly got up off Rarity and sat down in front of her, covering her eyes with her hooves, “Oh… I messed up… I messed up real bad…” She had no idea why she pushed her down to the ground… All she knew was that Fluttershy wanted to kiss her right there and then.
“Listen… Darling, let’s head to go see Nurse Redheart and we can pick this up tonight, okay? Now uncover those pretty eyes of yours, ” Fluttershy moved her hooves away and Rarity could see that her eyes were filled to the brim with tears, “There is no need to cry,” she said softly to her.
“But I messed up… I messed up…”
“Absolutely not, like I said we’ll pick this up tonight.” Rarity hugged her tightly before getting up off the ground, looking down at herself. “And now… I’m covered in dirt,” she sighed as Fluttershy looked at her coat, feeling bad for causing it.
“Here…” She got up and walked over to her. She used her wing to gently brush away the dirt. “I’ll get it off you.”
“Be careful darling, I don’t want you to hurt yourself,” Rarity said, but she just continued to brush it off for her. “I do appreciate it though. What I’ll do is pick these berries on my way back, that way I can gather more with Twilight.”
Fluttershy nodded at her and soon she removed all the dirt from her coat. They began walking again toward the hospital. However, the certain blue pegasus who was watching them couldn’t believe what she had just witnessed, her mouth agape as she tried to process what she just saw.
“What did I just see?” She mumbled to herself. “Who knew that Fluttershy could take charge like that and who knew the two of them were dating! I have to tell Applejack!!” Rainbow Dash then sped off towards Sweet Apple Acres.
“Miss Fluttershy?” the receptionist called, “Nurse Redheart is ready to see you now, please make your way to her.” Fluttershy nodded at her and turned to Rarity.
“Are you sure you don’t want me to come in with you?” Rarity said as she set the fashion magazine she was reading down. “I’m more than happy to,” Fluttershy nodded in response.
“It’s fine Rarity, you can go… The animals will be up soon and they will be cranky… I’ll tell you everything tonight, I promise.” Fluttershy smiled at her which prompted a nod from the unicorn.
“Alright, Fluttershy.” She hugged her. “I’ll see you later on tonight.” She got up and walked out of the reception. While she did this Fluttershy got up and made her way to Redheart’s office.
Upon entering the secure room she saw that the Nurse was sitting down at her desk, waiting for the shy mare to come. Her eyes were scanning a file that she had made for the pegasus. As soon as Shy sat down on the chair across from the nurse, the chair squeaked to let the Nurse know she was there. This, in turn, had her place the file down and smile at her. “Good morning Fluttershy, thank you for stopping by. Now, what can I help you with today?”
Fluttershy began to lightly clap her hooves together. “So… Um…” She started off as the nurse just continued to beam at her. “I wanted to make an appointment today… With you… Because of my wings…”
“Again?” Shy nodded at her. “Well alright, let's check the file to see what my notes were from your last appointment.” Redheart opened the file again to check the notes. “So last time, you came in about your wings. We ended up ruling off as stress since there was no physical damage to your skin, are you sure this isn’t the case again?”
“I’m positive, I had my…” She was hesitant, she didn’t want to tell her who was with her, “Special somepony stayed the night last night and it was happening…” She paused as Redheart raised an eyebrow. “The pain I mean… Sh-He! He mentioned it might have been stress… We took a bath together and I relaxed and everything but it still hurts…”
“Just hop on up on the bed and I’ll have a good look for you,” Fluttershy nodded and made her way over to the bed. “Also, you did mention in the last appointment that you experienced stages of aggression towards your animals? Any more incidents of that lately or is it just the pain?”
“Aggressive? No… I did, however, have a sudden urge of… um… dominance earlier…” She climbed onto the bed, laying down on her stomach which allowed the Nurse to have a look at her back.
“Can you elaborate on that please?” Redheart asked as she made her way towards her, climbing onto a small step ladder which allowed her to see her back.
“Oh yeah, I can do… Well, on the way here, I was on about first kisses, since I haven’t had one yet… Then when sh... “ She quickly stopped herself, “He… Said follow my heart and something kicked in, and I quickly pinned him against the ground… That wasn’t me…”
“You’re right, that definitely doesn’t sound like you,” She glanced at her back. “Let me know if anything hurts okay? I will stop.” She nodded at her. “I can clearly see that your back is severely damaged, so this time it’s physical damage.” She pressed her hooves against the bed to lean in for a closer look. “Now, the dominance thing, is this the only time it’s happened?”
“Yes… The pain, however, happens like once a month… I eventually got used to it, but last night…” Her eyes watered a bit just thinking about it. “The pain was so unbearable… I ended up hitting a wall while flying cause I lost my bearings…” Redheart continued to poke around her back.
“And this all started since the whole… Flutterbat situation?” Red asked her, which prompted Fluttershy to sigh.
“I’m really scared that she’s coming back, I can feel it deep within… And this time, she is not hungry for apples…” That’s when the nurse touched her most painful spot. This caused an almost immediate reaction. Her head spun around fast, eyes blood red and fangs showing, she hissed loudly at the mare; who was simply trying to help. The nurse flinched at the action, leaving them in a few moments of silence. Fluttershy turned back around. She didn’t know what had gotten into her.
“So um... “ Redheart began as Fluttershy’s ears flattened. “Have you brought this to Twilight’s attention?”
“Heavens no!” Fluttershy turned back around to face her, her eyes were normal and her fangs had seemingly vanished. “Oh goodness… I couldn’t, she’ll panic that she hasn’t been successful in curing me, she’d go off on one… It wouldn’t be a pretty experience…”
“Honestly Fluttershy… From what I just saw, A. You scared the living Tartarus out of me and B. I think it would be best if you did.” Fluttershy whimpered softly. “From the severe burned back, the hissing and some of your feathers falling out… Flutterbat might be making her return.”
“Oh no… This can’t be happening.” She sits up from the bed but the Nurse pushes her right back down. “Ow…”
“It makes perfect sense, the burning could be from the sun, your feathers falling out because of the bat wings… Listen Fluttershy, I need you to go tell Twilight before it’s too late, I’ll get a message to her as well.” She walked towards her desk and began to write notes. “I’ve got Pinkie Pie coming in later today. I’ll get her to deliver it to her.” Fluttershy got off the bed and walked over to her seat. “This will stay between us and the Princess,”
“Okay…” Fluttershy sat down on the chair and looked at her. “What should I do? The girls are taking care of my animals, they won’t let me back home…” Her ears flattened.
“Go to your safe space, and relax. I want you to come by tomorrow morning as early as you can, I’ll have Twilight here so we can discuss our next steps in helping you.” Fluttershy nodded at her. “I’m going to wrap your wings up so you can’t damage them even further okay? If you do shower or bathe, take it off and apply a new one.”
“Thank you…” Shy said as she smiled at her softly. Redheart took a small box out of her desk, walked over to Fluttershy and began wrapping her wings up. “I guess I’ll see you tomorrow…”
Rainbow Dash couldn’t believe it, she couldn't believe what she saw this morning. She had to spill the beans, she wasn’t the one to keep secrets hidden, the pony she decided to tell is no other than Applejack. Rainbow was flying fast as she could towards the farm, the ponies below looked up only to see a blur of rainbow speed by, which quickly vanished as fast as it appeared.
As Rainbow made her way towards the barn she began having second thoughts about telling the farm pony, or telling anypony at that! Would she like somepony spilling the tea about catching her hissing her partner if she hadn’t told anyone? She was with someone and hasn’t told anyone, mainly her parents, his parents, Applejack, Pinkie and Twilight, the pony she was seeing happened to be Zephyr Breeze; ironically being Fluttershy’s brother… Family events will be awkward once Fluttershy found out…
Maybe she should go talk to Zephyr instead of Applejack, he would be a better choice than AJ coming to think about it. She stopped flying, keeping airborne, ” Maybe I should go see Zephyr, he would be the better choice, considering he’s her brother… Nah, I think AJ needs to hear this,” Dash then continued her flight towards the farm,
Soon after she arrived she landed in front of the barn and instantly began her search for the farm pony, “Applejack!!” Her voice cracked, “APPLEJACK!!” She then began hearing somepony trotting out of the barn, turning her head around she saw it was Big mac, he was wheeling a carriage behind him,
“Rainbow Dash, what is with all the yelling,” He said in his deep voice, Big Mac was a stallion of few words but when he did speak, ponies did listen,
“I’m looking for AJ!” Rainbow said as she jumped in front of him, this made the stallion to stop in his tracks, “Where is she?” She asked him
“In her bedroom, in bed,” He started, “She isn’t feeling too well,”
Rainbow groaned lightly, “I can go see her right?”
Mac nodded towards her, “Eeyup,”
Rainbow then grinned as she flew up towards Applejack’s window, she forces her way inside. AJ looked over at the window as she flew in, “Applejack!!” She yelled out as she crashes into the bed, Applejack lets out a scream as she was thrown into the air, prompting her legs to be kicked around, she then landed back on the bed into her original position, “Oh good! You’re awake! I have some news!!”
“You don’t need to shout so damn loud sugar-cube,” She moved back away from the mare as Dash was practically bursting with excitement, “I’m right here… What did you need to tell me?”
“I have some major news that I want to tell you and I can’t wait!” She slams her hooves against the bed, one of them hits AJ’s hind leg,
“Hey!” Applejack shouted at her as she curls up to avoid any more injury, “This better be something important or I won’t be happy with you,”
“So!” She leans forward, “I was doing my job for the winter, you know making sure the clouds were ready for the next snowfall, while I was positioning the clouds outside Fluttershy’s cottage, I saw something,” She squealed as AJ raised an eyebrow, “I saw Rarity and Fluttershy walking down the path towards Ponyville together!” Her wings spread out due to the excitement,
“I’m I hearing this right, you came from your job, rushed all the way over here, just to tell me that you saw two of our friends walking towards Ponyville? When you know damn well the two of them go to the spa on Wednesdays,” Applejack wasn’t amused with the rainbow maned pegasus,
“No!” Rainbow should have mentioned it quicker, “I saw the two kiss!” She slammed her hooves back onto the bed, “Well, kind of, Fluttershy didn’t know what to do, but they still kissed!” Rainbow grinned as Applejack smacked her hoof to her face,
“Rainbow Dash…” She growled at her, “You seriously did come all this way to let me know this unuseful information,” She pulled the blanket up in hope she could get comfy again,
“Of course I did! And it is useful information!” Dash flew up into the air, “I had to tell somepony!”
“You couldn’t have just simply left the two mares alone could you?” AJ then sat up to look at Dash, her mane a complete mess and not tied up, “You wouldn’t know privacy if it hit you in the face,” She chuckled softly as Rainbow’s ears flattened, clearly taking what AJ said to heart, “There’ll be an honest reason why they haven’t told us yet, one of them might be that it’s a new relationship and they are test runnin’ it. We both know how Fluttershy can be with expressing her feelings, that girl can be such a handful. WIth Rarity as well? I’m surprised, considering the girl can never shut up about Fancy Pants and Trenderhoof, swear that girl only liked unicorns,”
“That… Kinda doesn’t sound right… But like I thought I’d let you know, since… You know… We share everything,” Dash said as she landed on the ground, “I should really head back to my job now, maybe I’ll speak to Fluttershy about it, get some answers off her,”
“No way in Tartarus sugar-cube! You’ll possibly frighten the poor girl, wait scratch that… You WILL frighten the poor girl, and don’t even think about speaking to Rarity about it either!” Applejack said to her,
“But Applejack! I want to know if it’s true, this will eat me from the inside out!” Applejack just rolled her eyes at her, “Then speak to Zephyr about it, since you know you’re dating him and what’s that? He’s also Fluttershy’s brother! Instead of getting involved in their relationship by speaking to Shy,” Applejack then laid back down, “Now head off back to your job before you get yourself fired,”
“But! But!” Dash flew directly above her, looking down at AJ, which brings a stern look to appear on her face. This causes Dash to groan, “Urgh, fine,” She lands back on the ground, proceeding to buck her legs in frustration as AJ simply smiled,
“Good,” She then began coughing, all she wanted now was to get some rest, “Now, if you don’t mind Rainbow, I would like to get some shut-eye,”
“Yeah, yeah…” She sighed as she took flight once again, “I’ll check in on you later today?” AJ shakes her head at that, “Wait, why not?”
"I have somepony coming over later, come by tomorrow?” Dash just nodded before she flew out of the window she had previously flown through, even though Applejack did say to Dash that she shouldn’t speak to Fluttershy about what she saw this morning, she was going to do it anyway. Not before, however, going to see her boyfriend
Fluttershy had to go somewhere where she felt safe… Her bed was number one, but unfortunately, she couldn’t head home. So the next best thing was going to see her parents. Even though her father didn’t particularly enjoy Fluttershy’s company and rather drag her down then bring her up, she could put up with her just for her mother, who was super supportive with what Fluttershy did with her life,
It took her an hour to reach Cloudsdale since she couldn’t use her wings she took the hot air balloon. She didn’t mind however, she enjoyed the pony who operated the balloon. She paid for the ride and tipped the pony before stepping off, the balloon soon vanished below the clouds and Fluttershy began looking around Cloudsdale, the city was very beautiful and full of life since only pegasi lived there and they all tended to fly everywhere,
She began walking towards the centre, taking in everything she saw as she went along. Just as she arrived in the main part of the city she accidentally bumped into a tall stallion. She let out a yelp as the force knocked her to the ground. She quickly brings a hoof to her head as the Stallion turns around, “Hey! Watch where you’re going!” They then saw that it was Fluttershy, this prompts them to laugh, “Dear Celestia! Is that Kluzershy!” He called out, still laughing,
Of course… The first ponies that she had to bump into… It had to be her old bullies, she mentally cursed to herself, the three were still bullying her after all those years. She slowly picked herself off the ground, even after all these years the boys have never seemed to grow up, she even remembers one of them mentioning to her that their baby brother could fly better than her,
“Klut-Fluttershy! Long-time no see!” Dumbbell said to her as he pushes up against her, hitting her side which sends pain to shoot through her back, her eyes shot open and she shifted him a death glare, “So nice to see you again,” He nervously laughs
“Hey! That did hurt you know,” Shy said to him as Hoops spotted that her wings were bandaged which causes him to chuckle at her,
“Have they finally grounded you permanently!” Hoops said laughing at her, hitting Dumbbell in the hip, trying to gain a laugh from him. When none of the two laughed with him, Hoops felt offended, “What the… Guys seriously? Where in the name of Celestia did your humour go boys?”
Dumbbell wrapped his hoof around Fluttershy, bringing her close to him which caused a pained grunt to escape her lips, “Hoops, we grew up,” He said to him as he looked hurt, Score stood on the other side of Fluttershy, “You clearly didn’t,” Shy tried to say something, but Dumbbell butted in, “Maybe you should back off, we don’t want to be friends with somepony who bullies others,”
“Dumbbell! Are you fucking serious right now! You were just as bad as me! If not worse!” Hoops growled at him, Fluttershy once again tried to get a word in while trying to move away from Bell, but he pulls her back in, hurting her even more,
“Dumbbell and I grew up, Hoops, yes we both admit we weren’t angels back then and were little shits, but it’s about time we started acting like adults,” Score started, “It’s about time you grew up as well,” Hoops growled at the three before flying away, “Sorry Klu… Um… sorry… Fluttershy,”
“I really appreciate both of you helping, but… You’re hurting me…” Dumbbell then quickly lets go of her, the two stallions then noticed the bandage around her stomach, “Thank you…”
“Sorry..” Dumbbell said as both of them kicked the ground softly, “And we’ve been meaning to get hold of you to apologise for all the awful things we’ve done over the years, I know a simple sorry won’t heal the years of torture, but I’m hoping its a start,” He smiled softly along with Score,
“I accept your apology, there’s no point in holding it against you when you truly mean it,” She said softly which made the Stallions sigh with relief,
“Thank you so much for accepting our apology! Dumbbell and I just hated the fact that we followed in the steps of Hoops cause we thought he was cool,” Score said, smiling at her, “I must head off however, I’ll see you guys around!” Score waved goodbye before flying away. Leaving Fluttershy and Dumbbell alone, which prompted a small blush to appear on his face,
“So…” He started as the two began walking, “Fluttershy? What brings you back to Cloudsdale?” He asked,
“I’ve come to see my parents… It’s been an awful long time since my last visit, almost a year now,” She said as Dumbbell flies in front of her to stop her walking,
“I’m actually on my way there now!” Fluttershy raised an eyebrow, “I offered to help around their house, I told them all the bad things that I did as a colt and I wanted to make up for it, so they let me help them when they needed me,” Fluttershy couldn’t help but chuckle at him lightly, he was truly trying to make up for what he did, “Since I personally couldn’t get hold of you I thought what better way in starting my road of recovery then starting at the mares parent’s house!”
“That is very sweet of you Dumbbell,” Dumbbell blushed at her comment as they began walking again, “I’m happy you’re changing your life around, and I’m sure Rainbow Dash would be too,”
The two ponies soon arrived at Fluttershy’s old home, as she was about to knock against the door, it was suddenly flung open, almost knocking Fluttershy out. An older mare stepped out, just as she was about to continue walking she spotted Fluttershy and Dumbbell, her eyes widened and a large grin appeared on her face, “Fluttershy! It’s so lovely to see you again!” She pulls her daughter into a tight hug, “We weren’t expecting you to visit!” She then sees Dumbbell and smiles at him, “Good morning Dumbbell, are you here for the cleaning of my gutters? They've been very dirty lately,”
Dumbbell smirked at her, “Certainly Mrs Shy, and Fluttershy and I had a conversation while coming up here, I was able to tell her what’s on my mind,” He said to the older mare which had her to smile at him again.
“Oh, I’m so happy you two got to talk things over! Come inside you two, your father will be happy to see you Fluttershy,” Mrs Shy said as she walked back inside, closely followed by the other two ponies,
The two was seated in the living room while Mrs Shy went to go find Mr Shy. Dumbbell looked at Shy who was simply looking around the room to see if anything had changed, he moved closer to Fluttershy, she hadn’t noticed until he wrapped his wing around her body. This caused Fluttershy to jolt up and look at him, “Dumbbell! You… You must have the wrong idea… I um… I’m in a relationship…” Dumbbell quickly retracted his wing and moved away,
“Oh, I’m sorry Fluttershy, your father said something about you needed a Stallion in your life to help you get over your fears… and he mentioned that if it was me, everything would be perfect,” His ears flattened,
“It’s okay Dumbbell… My father is… an ass, he wouldn’t approve with who I’m dating… That’s all I’m going to say,” Shy felt bad for the guy, but he understood and respected her boundaries,
Just as Fluttershy said that Mr and Mrs Shy walked into the room, both of them smiling. They take their seat across from the two. Mr Shy looked at Dumbbell then at his daughter, “Oh Fluttershy! Darling, I’m so happy you’ve come to visit is, and with Dumbbell! Out of all ponies!” He smiles, “You two are simply perfect for each other, I’m proud that you’ve come out of your shell,” Then it started… “But, not as much as I am of your brother! He’s snagged himself an amazing marefriend, he’s got into that mane therapy school that he’s been on about!” He was practically drooling over his sons’ success, this made Fluttershy very uncomfortable. She began fidgeting against her seat, this was picked up on by Dumbbell and Mrs Shy
“Honey… Why don’t you stop talking about Zephyr? Fluttershy has come all this way to catch up with is… Not her brother,” Mrs Shy said softly,
“Why would I stop?! He’s the perfect child!” He smiles as Fluttershy gets up from the seat,
“If you don’t mind… I’m going to stand outside, get some air…” Shy said as Mrs Shy nods, just as she was about to walk away, her father steps in,
“Fluttershy? We haven’t done talking yet,” Her father said, “I want to hear about you, about what you’ve been doing and how you have been doing,” It came to her as a surprise, her father actually taking an interest in her life,
Fluttershy looked at her dad, “Know about me? Oh, you haven’t asked me that in a while…” She sits back down next to Dumbbell, “So.. Um… Actually… I don’t have anything new going on…”
“Wow, just wow, I gave you a chance and that’s what I hear,” He said as Fluttershy’s ears flatten, Dumbbell noticed this and thought of something quick, he wraps his wing around her body and pulls her in close to him,
“Mr Shy? Mrs Shy? I wanted to wait for a perfect time to tell you both and this did include Zephyr, but I’m dating your daughter,” He said which causes Shy to let out a little yelp, Mr Shy’s eyes widen as a wide smile appears on his face,
“Really?! Oh, my stars!” Mrs Shy said as her expression joined her husband, “Why didn’t you tell us?!” She grins, the two were really happy for the new couple,
“We’ve only just recently got together, today actually, we wanted to test the waters since Fluttershy is new to dating,” He smiled at them which made Mr Shy nod in approval,
“Oh, frabjous day!” Mr Shy said in pure joy, “I’ll go get the celebratory wine! “ He practically shot out of his seat as he made his way into the kitchen,
“I can’t believe what I’m hearing, I’m so happy for you two,” Mrs Shy said as she got up to go hug her daughter, Fluttershy had to tell her the truth,
“Mom… I’m not really dating him,” She then backs up away from the pair, becoming very confused about the situation,
“What?” She asked as the three of them began hearing Mr Shy singing from the kitchen,
“Mrs Shy, I’m not trying to cause anything between your family, but Fluttershy is already in a relationship, she was telling me about it before the two of you came downstairs. Then I picked up on her fidgeting when Mr Shy was talking about Zephyr, it's just unfair that he’s making her feel so uncomfortable,” Dumbbell explained while Mrs Shy takes it in, “She doesn’t want to disappoint neither of you,”
“Oh, Fluttershy…” Mrs SHy hugs her tightly, this prompts the shy mare to burry her muzzle in her next to avoid tears, “I’m so sorry for making you feel like this,”
“Does Zephyr really have a marefriend?” Shy asked her mother, the two pull away from the hug, Mrs Shy nods at her, “Well… Good for him,”
“While you visit here Fluttershy, I’ll pretend to be in a relationship with you, to avoid any disappointment from your father,” Shy turned to face Dumbbell, giving him a small smile, “Until you’re ready, to tell the truth, that is,”
“You really have changed Dumbbell… Thank you I do honestly appreciate that” Shen turned back to face her mother, “When I’m ready to tell you… I’ll tell you everything…”
“Take all the time you need dear, as long as you’re happy, I’m happy,” Mrs Shy said just then Mr Shy comes in smiling, holding a tray with four glasses and a tall glass bottle of wine
“Ready for some celebration?” He smiles brightly as the three nods,
Mr and Mrs Shy had left together to get their weekly shopping done, leaving Fluttershy and Dumbbell, While Dumbbell watched TV, Fluttershy was cleaning up the glasses that they used for the wine. Just as she placed the cloth down that she was using to clean them she heard somepony come up behind her,
“Well if it isn’t my big sister!” Fluttershy felt herself sink, “It is so good to see you again, though I wasn’t expecting to see you so soon,” Zephyr walked over to his sister, wrapping his hoof around her neck, bringing her into a hug, “What happened Big Sister?” He then poked her side, sending pain through her body,
Hey! Zephyr! That hurt you know,” She said to him as she lifts her hind leg up to protect the side that he just poked, her eyes watering slightly,
“Oh hush cry babyshy,” He scoffs as he made his way to the sink to get himself a glass of water, “I was only asking what happened like a concerned brother I am, no need to start the waterworks,
Fluttershy felt rage build-up inside her, “You are so… unbearable…” She turned to walk into the living room, Zephyr didn’t like that and walked in front of her to stop her,
“You love me really sister,” He gives her a smirk, “Now,” He then began walking towards her making Fluttershy walk back away from him, “So, has dad told you about how amazing I am? You know, getting into Mane Therapy school, and about me getting the most amazing marefriend,” He said grinning as Fluttershy’s ears flattened,
“Who in their right mind would date you Zephyr,” She said quietly, as he chuckles lightly,
“I could tell you the same thing,” He growled back, “Cry babyshy,” He said as he walked around her, “I’m surprised if anypony would actually ever love you, considering you’re…” He turns to face her, “You,”
“I have you know!... The person I’m dating loves me for me…” She said as Zephyr gets in her face, “But, w-who are you dating?...” Just as she asked that somepony came downstairs, Zephyr smirks at Shy before turning around and smiling at the mare coming down,
“Rainkins!” He called out, making her way towards her. Fluttershy let out a quiet yelp,
” R-Rainbow Dash?! He’s d-dating Rainbow Dash!! Oh no… This can’t be real… She told me she hated him… she wouldn’t lie would she?..” Fluttershy thought to herself, she looked over to the two only to see them kiss, in turn making her stomach turn. She practically gagged at what she saw, “R-Rainbow Dash?...”
“Oh hey, Flutters!” She walks over to her, “I didn’t know you were planning on coming up,” She smiles lightly until she noticed the bandage that was wrapped around her waist, ”What happened?”
“I… Um… Had a spa accident…” She lied to her, but both her brother and Rainbow Dash believed her.
“What kind of treatment did you ask for? You hate having your wings touched,” Zephyr asked as he walked beside Rainbow, “You could possibly sue then you know,” Dash nodded in agreement with him,
“I don’t mind them getting touched…” Shy said quietly, “I don’t like it when you touch them Zephyr…” She looked down to the ground, “Since you like pulling my feathers out…”
“Zephyr? Did you seriously do that?” Dash asked, annoyed at her boyfriend, however, he shakes his head,
“Come on, I’m not a dick,” He started, “You should know that Rainkinks,” Rainbow turns to him and smiles at him as he did it back. Shy sank into her mane, she wasn’t lying this time… That’s when Dumbbell enters the room, standing by Fluttershy,
“Hey, what’s the commotion out here?” He said as he looked at the three,
“Fluttershy? Who’s this?” Zephyr asked as he walked up to him, although, Rainbow couldn’t believe who she was seeing,
“Wait, Dumbbell? What the fuck are you doing here?!” Dash said to him, walking closer to him, “Get out of here!!”
“Woah, listen, Rainbow Dash,” Dumbbell started, “Let me ex-” Dash didn't let him finish and she tackled him to the ground,
While all this was happening, Fluttershy backed up away from them. The three were arguing with each other. She didn’t want to be caught up in anything that was happening. The further she stepped back the distant their voices became. Fluttershy ended up tripping over her tail which resulted in her falling backwards, nopony noticed her as she did. Their arguing began to become more and more muffled as she began sinking deeper into her thoughts, her ears twitched slightly as she tries to make out what they were saying. She looks at the three, her pupils becoming dilated and watched their mouths moving. She shakes her head as an audible yelp escapes her lips, this caught the attention of Rainbow Dash. Her breathing picked up as she began to have a mini panic attack, of which Dash has never seen before,
“Fluttershy?!” She quickly made her way over to her, waving a hoof in front of her face. It was like Fluttershy was staring right through her, “What’s happening?” Zephyr scoffs at her,
“She’s having one of her moments, just leave the baby alone she’ll get over it,” He said walking over to the two mares, “Don’t pay any mind to her Rainkins,”
“Zephyr, that isn’t very nice you know,” Dash said as he scoffed once again,
“Stop sticking up for her, she’s a grown mare,” He then walked in front of Shy, she didn’t even notice him, “Look at her, she hasn’t even noticed I’m here,” He then pushed her down to the ground,
“Zephyr!” Dash shouted, “Enough!” Zephyr just chuckled as he walked by her,
“Come on, whatever,” He then made his way to the stairs, starting to ascend them Dash rolled her eyes and walked up to Dumbbell,
“Dumbbell… Go home, please,”
“Completely understandable, let Mrs Shy know,” He then hurried out of the building, leaving Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash alone,
“Fluttershy?... Are you okay? What happened?” She asked as she goes down to her side, “I’ve never seen that happen before,
Fluttershy looked at her, “Um… Yeah, I’m fine… Just a minor panic attack…” She gets up as she stares at the stairs, “I’m going to see Zephyr… mind waiting for me here?”
Fluttershy gave her a slight nod before making her way towards the stairs. Oh, she did have something planned alright, something big. She smirks to herself as her eyes flashed crimson.
She didn’t think she could run that fast, she fled from her parent’s house without warning, running away as quickly as she could. She just wanted to get home, get back home… Back to her animals… And of course… Back to Rarity. Her stomach growled loudly, she was hungry… Very hungry… She stopped in her tracks, feeling the pain of her wings striking again. Her heart was pounding heavily as she tried to catch her breath, she could feel her heartbeat in her ears.
Her yellow coat around her muzzle was stained a crimson red as the liquid dripped from the corners of her mouth, she couldn’t believe what she did, everything felt so surreal… She licked her lips to try help contain herself,
“ Oh… No… I can’t do this, I can’t do this... Celestia sake Fluttershy just do it!!.. No! I can’t he’s my brother! You have to do it! It’s the only way to satisfy me!... Why do I have to satisfy you?! All I need is some food… maybe a salad… Fuck salads!! I want blood! Please… who are you? what are you doing in my head?.. Fluttershy, I’m you. A much better version then you to be in fact, Oh… But my friends say that I’m the best version of myself,.. Urgh! You’re so infuriating! I’m sorry… Wait… Why am I saying sorry to myself? “Hey! Cry babyshy! Who said you could walk into my room?!” Zephyr yelled at his big sister, causing Shy to sink into her har to hide from his shouting, “Leave then!! Stupid baby,” The end of that sentence became a whisper, hoping she wouldn’t hear it. He turned back to what he was doing,
While she was having her mental battle, she had subconsciously walked into Zephyr’s bedroom and had been staring at him for a good 5 minutes. He has been reading one of Rainbow Dash’s Daring Do books, she then began hearing the sound of his heartbeat filled her ears. A sound that was once unhearable. She was wasting time,
Fluttershy slowly began making her way towards the bed, her stomach growled loudly. Something was taking over her and this something was hungry… This something was the other version of Fluttershy… The version she has kept within was finally coming out to play. Her eyes began narrowing, focusing on the stallion that was in front of her as he was totally oblivious of Fluttershy making her way to him. Her usual calming cyan eyes quickly descended into a deep sinister shade of crimson, two of her teeth elongated into sharp fangs. She licked her lips, getting ready to pounce, however, just as she was about to they hear somepony shouting up. This made Shy take a few steps back,
“Fluttershy! Zephyr! I’ve been called into work to sort out an emergency work issue, I’ll see you two later!” It was Rainbow Dash, who was waiting downstairs for Fluttershy, this was just what she needed,
“Don’t be a stranger Rainkins!!” Zephyr shouted, hoping Dash heard. They soon heard the downstairs door slam shut as it practically shook the whole house. Zephyr then laid eyes on Fluttershy, “Now, get out of my room!” He shouted again before turning back to his book, which would be his last mistake. The hunger hit Fluttershy hard, she wasn’t going to wait any longer, this is perfect timing. With the two being the only ones in the house. Shy broke into a run, charging directly at her brother, which prompted Zephyr to turn around and face her,
“Hey! What’s with the Nightmare Night cost-” He was interrupted by Shy diving at her brother. A lady-like scream escapes his lips as the two stumbles out of bed and landing onto the ground, Zephyr was pinned to the ground, her forehooves standing on his wings to prevent him from getting up, “what the fuck [/] is wrong with you?!”
Fluttershy didn’t answer him, only slowly opening her mouth just enough for him to see her fangs. He tried to speak, but Shy was quicker and latched herself onto his neck. She sank her teeth straight into his skin, puncturing the flesh on his neck. The rich thick texture flowed into her mouth which granted her sweet relief after just over a year of torture. Ever since Twilight ’cured’ her, Fluttershy had always felt that something was missing from her life… This was that something! Her ears went back as her brother screamed for help which only caused Shy to bite down harder, plunging further into him. Draining him like he was a juice carton, some of the blood that she was siphoning out of him began to cascade down her chin, staining her coat with blood. Zephyr slowly began to grow weak, his body going limp as Shy closed her eyes to savour the taste,
” Finally! Oh, Celestia yes!! This is all I wanted! This is wrong... Oh hush you! This is everything I’ve dreamed for, You aren’t going to ruin it! I’ve just killed my brother!! You better get used to it, I’m in charge now! You can’t tell me this doesn’t feel right! I mean… It does feel nice… Good, I’m glad you feel the same,”
Fluttershy felt tears form in her eyes as she continued to run away as fast as she could, wishing her wings weren’t injured so she could just quickly escape from Cloudsdale. As she was running around she accidentally crashed into another pegasus which in turn causes the shy mare to fall backwards, “Oh, hey, are you okay? You’re running quite fast?” The voice above her said to her as they offered a hoof for her. Fluttershy looked up to see who it was, only to see that it was one of the members of the Wonderbolts, “Wait a minute, aren’t you Rainbow Dash’s friend?” Shy nodded slowly at her, “I remember you from one of the meet and greets, I’m Fleetfoot,” She smiles,
“Rainbow Dash does talk a whole lot about the Wonderbolts… But I’m so sorry… I didn’t mean to crash into you,” Shy said as she takes the hoof that was being offered to her, Fleet pulls her back onto all four of her hooves, “Thanks…” Shy smiled softly when she noticed something… She got blood on Fleet’s chest…
“Hey, don’t worry about it. Is everything okay? You were running really fast,” Fleet asked, “And there is blood on your muzzle,” She pointed to her face which causes Shy to quickly bring her hoof to her face, she backs away from her as her legs shake, “Do you need help? What happened to you?”
Fluttershy just stared at the pony that was in front of her, silence took over her and left the two mares in an awkward situation. Although the silence was disrupted by the growling of Shy’s stomach, her eyes drifted towards Fleetfoot’s neck. ” More.” She swallowed hard as she shakes her head to try to break out of her thoughts, “I… I just want to go home…” Fleet then raised an eyebrow at the mares predicament, “But… I didn’t think my trip would be cut so short… I didn’t plan a way back down,” She nervously laughs as she lowers herself, trying to hide within her mane,
“Oh,” Fleet then notices the bandage around her, “I can help you with that,” She smiles at her softly, “If you want my help that is,”
Fluttershy thought about it for a quick second, she just wanted to go home and cuddle up with Rarity in front of the fire… Something that small could make her whole day, she enjoyed the little things in life… “I just want to get home…” Fleet then smiles softly at her once again, “If it’s okay with you… I wouldn’t mind some help to get down…”
“Of course it’s okay with me, if it wasn’t I wouldn’t have offered it in the first place,” She continued to smile at the mare as she flapped her wings lightly to get them ready for the short trip, this prompts Fluttershy to correct her posture, “Now whereabouts do you live?”
“Whereabouts do I live? Um… Ponyville which isn’t far from here… But you can just drop me off at the town hall… I’ve got some things to do and a few things to pick up for… Somepony,” She said quietly which earns her a small nod from Fleetfoot, “You… Won’t drop me, will you?” She was nervous about it, somepony carrying her? It frightened her. The only pony that has ever really carried her was Rainbow Dash, and if she included magic, Rarity and Twilight,
“I swear on my life I won’t drop you, you have my word,” Fleetfoot said towards the mare, which slightly lifted up Fluttershy’s feelings. However, she wasn’t expecting what Fleetfoot did. She suddenly felt hooves quickly wrap around her as she was lifted into the air. She let out a loud yelp, her whole body grew tense and her forehooves were thrown around her next to keep her safe. She had a tight grip on the Wonderbolt as her entire body shook. Fleet found it highly amusing and laughed it off, “I'm going to start flying down now, okay?”
“Okay…” Her voice had become a whisper as she finished the sentence, Fleet then lowered the two below the clouds, beginning their trip down towards Ponyville centre,
Much to Fluttershy’s enjoyment, the flight down wasn’t too long, ” Thankfully…” Fluttershy had stopped shaking as her nerves were calmed down by the slow descent, soon enough, however, her stomach began growling loudly, causing the shy pony to blush lightly ” Come on! Do it, coward! Oh… I couldn’t… She’s so nice… and she’s carrying me down... I don’t want to fall...Celestia sake!! Nopony will notice she’s gone! Ponies will! She’s part of the Wonderbolts… Fine! If you won’t do it, I will! “
Fluttershy let out a quiet whimper as she fought with her inner self, she began fearing what will happen if she lets the hunger take over her again… What did her evil side mean by she will? Fluttershy covered her eyes with her hooves, Celestia knows if she’ll kill another pony… She then felt pain shoot through her stomach and up to her teeth. A familiar pain she knows all too well, but it wasn’t nearly as painful as the pain from earlier that day. Her stomach growled again as her eyes shifted back to a shade of crimson. Removing her hooves from her face she licked her lips, “Actually. Change of plans, can you take me to Sweet Apple Acres?”
“Yeah, of course, I can,” She said as she quickly changed direction, Fluttershy could see the farm approaching fast, “I’ll drop you off in front of the barn?”
“That would be perfect,”
Fleetfoot landed down in front of the barn, slowly lowering Fluttershy to the ground. She smiles at her, suddenly the hunger pain strikes her again, provoking her ears to flatten, ” Finally“ Fleet turns to smile at her, “Thank you so much Fleetfoot, as an appreciation gift, I’ve got something in the barn,”
“Oh, no it’s fine really, it’s a simple act of kindness,” She said as she smiled at Shy, this, however, makes her snarl lightly
“Then let me repay your simple act of kindness with another simple act of kindness come into the barn for something special,” Fluttershy said as she walked towards the barn door, slowly opening it up to check to see if it was empty,
“If you insist,” Fleet then made her way towards the barn, Shy opened it wider as Fleet walks inside. Looking around she turned around to face Shy, “Why is it so dark in here?” Soon as Fleet finished the sentence, Fluttershy closed the barn door leaving the two in total darkness, “Um… Miss? It’s pretty dark in here, I can’t see a thing,”
“Celestia you’re so annoying! Shut up!” Fluttershy then dived at Fleet; this, in turn, caused her to scream in fright, as she made the two ponies roll back slightly. Shy yet again pinned another pegasus to the ground by their wings, “I’m so sorry it has to be this way. You were so nice,”
“Miss… Please, let’s just talk things over, there’s no need for any sort of violence,” Fleet said, hoping that her attacker would stop,
“Mmm, how about… No!”
With one swift motion, she latched onto Fleet’s throat; one last scream escaped her lips as she plunged her teeth straight into her voice box, almost like she was an apple and Fluttershy so desperately wanted to reach the core. The scream faded as she began bucking in hope that she’d get her predator off her, this was all in vain as Fluttershy was much stronger than her she had used her hind legs to stamp down on Fleet’s causing the instant break. Shy’s eyes rolled into the back of her head as she tasted the metallic liquid, her ears lowered as she knew this felt right. This has been something that has been missing from her life, something she didn’t quite know until now. Fluttershy then yanked her head back, ripping out part of her throat, causing the pony to gargle as she tried to breathe. Her eyes began rolling back into her head and soon enough her life force was taken away from her, Shy spat the chunk of flesh out.
“Oh dear me! This pony’s blood is so incredible! So rich and full of life!” She leans down and practically began drinking from her throat, using her like some sort of water fountain. “I’m going to have to save her for later,” She said to herself, licking her lips. She looked up and began to look around. Wanting to find a hiding for her meal, “Mmm, up there,” She spotted a support beam which was high up off the ground. Out of sight out of mind. The major issue, however, was that the beam was way high up, “Shit…” She then looked back at her bandaged wings, before leaving over to remove it, “It doesn’t hurt anymore, so why should I keep it on?”
It was a quiet night, which was much to her enjoyment. The earth pony walked into the kitchen as she wanted to make a slight-night snack for herself and her somepony special. Just as she got the pan out and placed it down onto the stove, a yawn escaped her lips. Which prompted a light chuckle from somepony, “Quit your chuckling at me will you?” She said to him as he walked over,
“Obviously you should have taken my offer in cooking then, since you’ve been on your hooves all day, or did you forget about helping your animal caretaker friend?”
Applejack just chuckles at him, “How can I forget, her animals practically started a riot when they found out it was us looking after them today instead of Fluttershy. They seemed to calm down when Rarity talked to them, however,” She then turns to face the stallion; who was now standing in front of her, smirking, “Anyways, last time I let you cook for us Fancy, you burned the meal and how can I forget to mention about the juice? How in Equestria do you burn juice?! Did you take cooking lessons from Sweetie Belle?!”
It was strange, Applejack would never, in a thousand years, thought that she’d date somepony like Fancy pants. The two got taking after the garden party which Rarity attended along with Twilight’s party, he was rather intrigued at the farm pony as she was digging up weeds. Thinking that it was an actual garden party. After that day, the two seemed to hit it off. For Fancy Pants, Applejack was different compared to the other mares who took interest in him, for one she hadn’t tried to get him to have sex with her or the obvious one being that the other mares who had taken interest in him only wanted to use him just to be noticed in Canterlot, due to his status of being the most important pony in Canterlot,
Applejack just enjoyed his company and enjoyed him for him. Nothing to do with him being rich or being a VIP. This is something that Fancy loved about her, “Well, I never!” He huffed, scrunching his nose while turning away, “Sweetie Belle is a fine cook!” He couldn’t help but smile, it was hard to keep a straight face. Applejack then chuckled at his goofiness
“You can never keep a straight face when you're goofing around.” She then turned back to the stove, another yawn followed closely after,
“We don’t have to eat you know,” He then levitated the pan away from the stove, Applejack followed it with her eyes as he puts it back in the cupboard, “Why don’t we just settle down for the night, I don’t know about you but I’m not hungry,”
“I don’t see the harm in that,” Applejack smiled softly as she walked towards the stairs,
The two of them had decided that they should just head to bed without anything to eat, it was late and Applejack had apple-bucking in the morning. Both of them were under the covers of AJ’s bed, Fancy behind Applejack, having a hoof wrapped around her. The two warming each other up as it was freezing outside. Just as Fancy closed his eyes, he heard, “Hey, Fancy?”
“Yes, dear?” He opened his eyes slightly, looking down at the mare
“Are you sure you want to help me tomorrow? It’s going to be a long day,”
“Positive! I want to help you, darling, I know how stubborn you can get so you’re not saying no,” Fancy then pulled AJ closer, prompting a happy sigh from the mare,
“No offence, but you’re a unicorn. Unicorn’s are known not to have enough strength to… buck the trees,” Fancy then scoffs at her,
“I take slight offence to that! I’ll show you I’m strong enough to help you tomorrow,”
AJ then chuckled, “Whatever you say then sugar cube,” She moves slightly, getting comfortable in his embrace, “Goodnight Fancy,”
“Goodnight Applejack,”
The two ponies had settled down for the night, their eyes closed in the hope that they would drift into the dream realm. It was all in vain however as the two heard a scream. It sounded close. Applejack quickly sits up, whacking Fancy’s chin in the progress. This prompts him to groan, AJ then turns to face him, “oh, I’m sorry Fancy,” The scream then happened again, AJ wasted no time in running off leaving Fancy to rub his chin,
“Wait, AJ! Wait up!” Fancy gets up, running after his marefriend. It didn’t take him long before he reached downstairs, slightly out of breath, he wasn’t used to running around so much, unlike Applejack. He needed to get used to it however, “Applejack! Darling?! Where are you?!” He made his way outside, seeing the mare stood by the barn. He trots over to her, “Applejack?”
“Can you light up the barn, please? The screaming came from here,” AJ asked him. He agreed, walking ahead of her and used his magic to make some sort of flashlight. Applejack walked beside him, “Thanks,” He began looking around the barm, “Like I said just then, the screaming came from here, it stopped as I got outside,”
As the light was searching every nook and cranny of the barn, it finally laid upon the centre of the barn. The two gasped as they saw a large pool of blood and scattered around it was yellow feathers, “Oh dear!” Fancy said as he takes several steps back, “What is that?”
“Just… Just a puddle of blood… with some feathers,” AJ said, struggling to say the sentence, trying not to gag, “The best course of action would be… Well I don’t really know what to do, do you?” She turned to Fancy, who just glared back at her,
“The best course of action… Well… It’s just a single puddle with feathers around it… Some even in it, do you know anypony that could match these feathers?” He then placed a hoof to his chin, “Maybe this somepony has had an accident, which would explain the screams we could hear,”
“Well the only pegasi that comes to mind when I think of yellow feathers is Fluttershy, but I highly doubt it’s her, she’d never travel out this far at night, let alone by herself. Knowing that mare she’ll be at her parents, which is the reason why I was out all day at her cottage with the girls,” Fancy then steps in front of AJ, “What about you?”
“None of my friends know I’m here dear, they think I’m home alone. This must be that friend of yours,” He then looked back at the mess, “We must go see her, just to make sure that she’s okay,” Applejack then nodded,
“There is no harm in checking… Alright, I’ll go get Big Mac to come here and keep an eye out while we’re gone. Just wait outside the barn and I’ll be right back,” She then runs off,
Fancy then turned to face the blood pool, “Hopefully she isn’t badly hurt…” He then began walking towards the exit, waiting for AJ to return. He has never truely met Applejack’s friends, only Rarity and thanks to her he met the most amazing and hardworking mare. As he arrived outside of the barn he noticed AJ and Big Mac walking over, he smiled softly at them, “Ready?” He asked as AJ nodded,
"Eeyup," She said, mimicking her big brother,
“Hey! That’s my line AJ,” Her brother scoffs as AJ chuckled at him. She then took off with Fancy Pants towards Ponyville. Mac sat down outside the bar, sighing heavily, this was going to be a long night
Tonight wasn’t nearly going to be anything she expected, for one, she ended up killing two innocent ponies and for two… She killed ponies! Fluttershy had managed to escape the farm without being caught, she had to leave the body behind, she would have been caught if she decided to take the body with her. As soon as she heard footsteps from outside the barn she had to fly out. She dashed through the air at speeds that would make Rainbow Dash jealous, she was much faster than normal. As soon as she removed the bandages that were bounding her wings to her body, all of her feathers fell down to the ground. She’d never lie to herself, she was panicking once she saw them fall. She knew that she was losing them but not at an alarming rate, however, all that fear faded when she noticed her new wings. They were leathery, more like what they used to look like when she was Flutterbat… But much bigger,
In her mouth, biting down to avoid dropping it was the bandage. She couldn’t let Rarity see her wings… The panic she brought upon her that night… She didn’t want to bring it back ” I can’t believe you did this… Oh, believe it, They were innocent! You won’t take control of me so easily next time... this is my body, not yours, That’s where you’re wrong Fluttershy, this is becoming my body now, the wings? The fangs? The eye change? Nopony will recognise you once I've done with you! Shut up!” As she was having a mental battle with herself she ended up flying straight into somepony who was also flying. Making them both stumble and crash down to the ground in a heap, making a small indent in the ground where the two ponies landed,
“Urgh! Watch where you’re flying dingus!” Fluttershy recognised that voice as her one of her friends, this pony is Rainbow Dash. She groans as the cyan pegasus places a hoof onto her head to help with the pain, “It’s extremely unsafe to fly that fast you know!”
“Oh… I’m really sorry Rainbow Dash… I didn’t see you there…” Shy said softly, ” No you’re not, shut it…” Rainbow, upon hearing that voice, shot open her eyes and looked directly at the mare with her mouth hanging wide open, ” Mmm, wonder what she could fit inside that mouth, Oh my…” Fluttershy shook off the thought, “I was… trying out my wings since they’ve been in that bandage all day... I guess I missed the feeling of being able to fly…” Fluttershy then climbed out of the small hole, offering a hoof to help Dash out, ”” You’re lying through your teeth! You fool!” Rainbow takes the hoof and was pulled out,
“Fluttershy… That was actually pretty awesome! If you flew like that during the tornado we surely would have broken that record!” Dash then hugs Fluttershy, this prompts Shy’s muzzle to be right next to Dash’s neck, she could sense the blood pumping through her body, making Fluttershy to lick her lips, ” Bite! Bite!! She’s right there!! I can practically taste her!!” Fluttershy ignored her evil self and pulled away from Rainbow,
“I… Have to get home… To my animals… It was nice seeing you again,” Just as she was about to speed off so Dash couldn’t see her wings, but Rainbow places a hoof on her shoulder,
“Actually, before you go zooming off, I wanted to talk to you about something. I was meaning to ask you about it today while you were at your parents, but I could see how Zephyr was getting on your nerves. So I thought about waiting till tomorrow,”
“Oh… What about Rainbow Dash?” Shy turned around to face her, praying she doesn’t spot her wings,
“Well… This morning I was doing my job… When I saw you and Rarity walking down the path towards Ponyville,” Fluttershy’s heart sank, “I couldn’t really hear the conversation between the two of you, but I did see you push Rarity to the ground and then… You kissed her,” Shy then let out a quiet meep, taking a few steps back, “I want you to know that you can tell me anything… Is there something going on between the two of you? Something… Romantic?”
“No!” Shy quickly shouted, “Nothing is going on between us!” Fluttershy whimpers, before looking up at Rainbow, “She’s not even into mares… You should know that…”
Dash sighed, “Fluttershy, I know you’re lying… You can tell me the truth, I’m not going to judge you,” Rainbow steps forward, trying to get close to her friend; who in turn continued to back away,
“I’m telling you the honest truth,” Fluttershy said, if Applejack was here she would be shaming her for lying, “She has even talked to me about how she likes somepony called Tenderhoof!” Fluttershy continued to back away from Dash as her friend couldn’t help but continue to walk towards her, hammering her with 1000 questions,
“Then why did you pin her then? Rarity hates getting dirt over her coat,” Dash asked, thinking she caught Fluttershy out,
Fluttershy let out an audible gulp, “I pinned her… Because she was curious on how… If I was alone with somepony special… What would I do?..” Shy then fell back, tripping over her own tail. She landed on her back, staring directly above. Rainbow Dash then walked over her, like she was pinning her down, but not technically pinning her. Shy whimpers,
“What about the kiss?”
“She knew that I’d be terrible at kissing so she offered to teach me!” She covers her face with her hooves, shaking violently, “Please… Rainbow Dash…”
“For some reason, I don’t believe a single thing you’re saying,” Dash said as Fluttershy looked away from her,
“You should believe me… I’m telling you the truth,” Shy then turned back to Dash, “I can’t believe you don’t believe me…”
“Kiss me then,” Dash quickly said to her friend,
“W-What?”
“If you want me to believe you. Kiss. Me,” Dash said directly,
“I… Um… Gottogobye!!” Fluttershy quickly flew off, leaving the bandage behind which was meant to keep her wings hidden,
Rainbow Dash was left in the dust, watching as the shy mare was soon out of range. She kicked the ground in anger. She hadn’t even had the chance to mention why she was covered in red liquid, “Maybe AJ was right… I shouldn’t have mentioned it,”
Fluttershy landed outside her cottage, she didn’t know what to say to Rarity… About why her wings looked like the way they did or why she was covered in blood… She walked towards the front door, waiting to open up to absolute chaos. She tried to open the door only for it to not budge, ” Huh?... Why is the door locked?... She’s definitely cheating! Why else would she lock the door! You’re getting very annoying Evilshy, Ooo! I even get a nickname! I love Evilshy! You’re not meant to love it!” She let out a frustrated groan, before walking away from the door. Looking at the windows on the top floor to see that the bathroom light was the only light on, ” See she’s only taking a bath, Oh, maybe she’s enjoying herself in there, without you. Oh shut up!”
Fluttershy ultimately decided to fly around to the backdoor which leads into the kitchen. She would have knocked loudly against the front door but she feared within doing that she’d wake up all the sleeping animals. Fluttershy had always kept the back door unlocked due to the fact that she would be out late most nights at the vets during flu season and needed a way to sneak back in without causing too much noise. She had soon entered the house only to hear complete silence, shocked about it, she began making her way through the kitchen.
She exited the kitchen as she arrived at the bottom of the stairs, her ears began twitching. She could hear Rarity humming. Fluttershy always adored Rarity’s singing voice, ever since she decided to form the Pony Tones, Fluttershy had desperately tried to book them for her Ponyville Pet Centre Fundraiser, which was a huge success due to them. She smiles softly at the pleasant thought before climbing the stairs,
” Aren’t you forgetting something? I… I don’t think so? I wish you could see my face right now, your wings! WRAP THEM UP! Okay… Okay… I’m sorry” Fluttershy sighed heavily, she couldn’t believe she forgot to hide them. She walked back down the stairs and towards a side table, where she kept the emergency first aid kits for her animals. As soon as she opened the box, however, she heard something walk behind her. Just as she pulled out the fresh bandage she heard a low mumble, Shy quickly turned around,
"AHH!" She screamed, flinching as the dark shadow loomed over her, however, she soon regained herself when she saw who it was, “Oh… Harry… It’s just you, you scared me… Can you help me real quick?” She asked the bear; who responded with a nod, taking the bandage off her, “Thank you… Since you’re awake I can ask you… How were the girls today?”
Harry begins to speak to her while she worked on wrapping her wings up, ” They struggled at first, I already knew that Rarity was trying so hard to avoid telling them about your relationship”
“What do you mean by that?..”
Harry continues to cover her wings, ” Like, since she knows the cottage from the back of her hoof, she kinda gets what some of the other animals are saying, and the others don’t. You see where I’m coming from here?”
“Yeah, I do… Thank you for not causing any mass damage,” Fluttershy said as Harry finished wrapping her wings up,
” We all deserve a break from time to time Fluttershy, we all know how hard you’ve been working this year. We didn’t want to stress you out anymore,” Harry said to her with a small smile,
“I really appreciate it… Now… I’m going to go see Rarity… I’ll check up on you tomorrow,” Harry nodded and began walking back to where he was sleeping,
Fluttershy then began her ascent up the stairs once again, however, instead of humming she heard the water being switched off. Rarity had finished in the shower which was the perfect time to go in and see her. Since they’ve been dating, Fluttershy found it extremely awkward to walk into the bathroom if Rarity was using it, even though Rarity had told her numerous times that it was okay to come in if she was there, she couldn’t bring herself to do it,
Shy reached the top of the stairs and made her way towards the bathroom door. She knocked lightly against it to hopefully gain the unicorn's attention; which she did as the door handle would glow in a familiar light blue aura. It swung open and Rarity was on the other side with a towel wrapped around her mane, a bright smile appeared on her face,
“Fluttershy! Darling! You’re back!” She pulls her into a tight hug which caused a small smile to appear on Shy’s face, “I’m so glad you’ve decided to come home tonight, I truly thought you’d be at your parents all day, hence the reason why I locked the front door. Today just hasn’t been the same without you,”
“I’m really sorry that it hasn’t been the same… But I’m here now,” She looked at her, “What did I miss then?” She was curious about how the girls handled the animals from Rarity's point of view.
Instead of a response, Rarity just raised an eyebrow at her girlfriend, “Before I get into that darling, why is your muzzle red?” Fluttershy brings a hoof to her muzzle, “What happened?”
“Oh… It’s nothing major." She had to think of something quick. "My dad brought out the celebratory wine and… My brother can be oh so clumsy,” Fluttershy gave her a weak smile ” Oh! You sneaky bitch!”
“What was the celebratory wine for? And why wasn’t I invited over to have some,” Rarity chuckles at her comment which prompts Fluttershy to join her,
“It was actually… For me dating Dumbbell… He really wanted the two of us to date,” She said as the two made their way out of the bathroom and into the master bedroom. "Which is ridiculous..."
“Wait, Dumbbell? As in one of your old bullies Dumbbell? Why would he want that? Doesn’t he know the pain he put you through?” Rarity sits down onto the bed as she began drying her mane, Fluttershy walked towards the window to open it slightly, thus letting some cold air inside to cool the room down,
“That’s a funny story actually… He wanted to make up for all the awful things he did to me when we were younger, so he contacted my parents to try to get a hold of me…” She started but decided to cut a long story short, “Making this story short… Dumbbell and my father get along really well and my father wanted Dumbbell and me to date…” Fluttershy said as she made her way back towards Rarity,
“Your father doesn’t sound like a pleasant man darling,” Rarity started as she continued to dry her mane, “Considering what you’ve told me about him in the past and now this, it may be best to avoid inviting your parents for Hearth’s Warming this year? I feel like there’ll be unwanted drama if we do invite them,”
Fluttershy was hurt by this, “That sounds a little harsh…” Her ears flatten, “I mean… I do understand why… But I do want to see them for the holidays…” She climbs onto the bed and laid down beside Rarity as she was still sat up,
“I mean, it’s completely up to you Fluttershy, I just want to make the holidays perfect for you and stress-free,” Rarity turned around to look down at Shy as she finished drying her mane, “As I mentioned, your father doesn’t sound pleasant,” Fluttershy sighed heavily at what she said,
“Can we please talk about this tomorrow,” Shy moved over and climbed under the bedsheets, “It’s a touchy subject,”
“Yeah, yeah, of course, Darling, I don’t want to make anything uncomfortable for you,” Rarity climbed next to her, “But as well as that, I’d like to know what Nurse Redheart said today, you can tell me tomorrow if it's easier,” Fluttershy rolled over to face Rarity, this prompted a soft smile to appear on Rarity’s face, “You still have that wine stain on your muzzle. You might want to get that cleaned up before it sticks and stains,”
Fluttershy sighed heavily yet again as she climbed out of bed, “I just want to go to sleep…” She walked towards the bedroom door, “I’ll be right back,” She then left the unicorn alone as she exited the bedroom and headed towards the bathroom,
She felt weak, her energy of the day drained ” You’re so weak, Hush you… I’m not in the mood, Has wittle Rarity hurt your feelings? Has she hurt your precious feelings? She has slightly hurt my feelings… But I know she didn’t mean no harm when she said it… Oh you poor poor soul,” Fluttershy walked into the bathroom and began running the warm water at the sink, her stomach growled… She needed food,
” I can’t believe you pulled that off, I hate lying to her… Well you did, and it worked. You’ve got a mix of Zephyr’s blood and Fleetfoot’s stained on you and she believed it was wine! What a fucking idiot! Shes not an idiot... " Fluttershy shakes her head trying to get rid of Evilshy’s thoughts, she began cleaning the blood off her muzzle, just then her stomach growls once again, “Just ignore it Fluttershy…” She said to herself.
Fluttershy had to use warm soapy water to fully remove the blood. It had managed to stick to her coat and stain it. Taking a good twenty minutes she was soon able to remove it all off her, ” Good as new, I can’t wait till I mess that up again,” Fluttershy rolled her eyes as she dried her face off with a towel, ” You can’t ignore me Fluttershy! I am you!”
Ignoring her evil-self, she wrapped up what she was doing before heading back towards the bedroom. Entering the room she saw Rarity sat up reading a book as she awaited Fluttershy’s return. Rarity looked up from her book and smiled at her, “Ah, that's much better,” She said as Fluttershy gave her a weak smile back, she climbed back into bed, “I had some time to think about what I said, and I want to apologize for what I said earlier, as it came off as rude and insensitive,”
“I know you didn't mean for it to sound harsh, and possibly… If it was the other way around… I’d say somewhat the same thing you did,” Fluttershy said to her as she rolled to face Rarity, “You did kinda hurt my feelings… He is still my father…”
“I didn’t mean any ill intentions, I hope you know that, “ Rarity pulls her into a hug, “I don’t want to go to sleep tonight knowing that I’ve hurt you,” She then kisses her forehead, this had Fluttershy looking up at her.
“You could… Make it up to me…” She looked into her eyes, which prompted Rarity to raise an eyebrow, “You said… This morning… About picking up where we left off…”
“Oh yeah! I completely forgot about that!” She sat up, “Alright, I’ll teach you how to kiss in hope you’ll forgive my comments earlier,” She then turned to face her, Fluttershy joined her by sitting up, “So, it’s quite easy,”
Fluttershy nodded as Rarity moves in front of her to position herself, “How do you plan on teaching me?... If you don’t mind me asking?”
“Like this,” Rarity then pushed Fluttershy back, pinning her against the bed this time Fluttershy let out an audible oof, “I’m going to take charge and all you have to do is follow my movements okay?”
Fluttershy nodded at her which prompted a smirk to form on Rarity’s face, ” Mmm, you’ve been thinking about this moment all day, playing scenarios in your mind on how this could be perfect, Shush you… I wonder what she tastes like,”
Rarity places herself onto Fluttershy, moving closer to her, “Are you, ready darling?” Fluttershy nodded which gave her permission to start,
Fluttershy had no idea what Rarity was planning, she just let the mare take over. Rarity gave her a soft smile before leaning down and capturing her lips with a swift motion. The kiss was powerful, the kiss was magical. Fluttershy soon caught onto what Rarity was doing and began to copy her movements. She wrapped her forehooves around her neck to get into a more comfier position. Their lips moved in time with each other, everything seemed perfect. Fluttershy began lapping the kisses, gradually picking up the pace which Rarity took note of this and joined her with picking up the rate of the kiss, Fluttershy was in absolute bliss,
” Showtime! “
Before Fluttershy could answer back she felt her jaw snap shut her fangs piercing Rarity’s lips, causing blood to flow inside her mouth. Her ears flatten as she enjoyed the thick sensation as it quickly filled her mouth. She saw Rarity’s eyes widen, Fluttershy looked at her as she unhinges her jaw letting Rarity pull back quickly to reveal two freshly made holes just below her bottom lip essentially giving her snakebites, Fluttershy licked her lips lightly as Rarity tried to regain herself,
“Oh my FUCKING Celestia!!” Rarity brings a hoof to her face as her eyes watered,
“R-Rarity… Are you okay?” Fluttershy asked an obviously stupid question, she saw blood slowly drip down off Rarity and lands on Fluttershy’s stomach,
“That’s a silly question Fluttershy!” She yelled as she got off the bed and walks out of the bathroom in a hurry, leaving the other mare in shock.
Fluttershy couldn’t help but lick her lips slightly, ” Oh wow, her blood was incredible, and she’s all ours’, Not anymore! You mess everything up! You can’t tell me her blood didn’t taste amazing?” Fluttershy shakes her head as she gets up to follow Rarity,
She entered the bathroom to see Rarity frantically digging through a first aid kit, breathing heavily, “Rares?... I’m really sorry…”
“No… It’s completely fine darling… I’m just curious on how you did it…” Rarity asked while looking at her, a confused look took over her face,
“I… I’m unsure… I just want to make sure you’re okay…” Fluttershy said as she walked beside her, “Let me have a look…” Rarity moved her head to one side to let Fluttershy see the damage, “I’m really sorry…”
“I have no idea how to explain how this happened…” She sighed as she looked into the mirror, “It’s like a piercing should be there…”
“Maybe you should get one?” Fluttershy suggested, “You know ponies would believe you if you say it’s the next best thing,”
“You know… That isn’t a bad idea, but seriously… For two small insertions I did bleed quite a bit,” She said smiling softly, “And, you did so well in there. It was like you were a natural once you got the gist of what to do,”
“I don’t care about that right now, I hurt you and I feel awful…” Fluttershy looked away as Rarity placed a hoof on her shoulder,
“It was an accident… Don’t beat yourself up over it. Let's forget about all this and head to bed,” Fluttershy nods slowly as the two leave the bathroom,
” I can’t believe you're apologizing, she tasted amazing!”
The two mares climbed into bed, snuggling up against one another, Fluttershy nuzzles herself into her chest as they settled down for the night, “Goodnight Fluttershy,” Rarity said softly,
“Goodnight Rarity,”
It was well into the night, the cottage stood in silence as nothing disrupted the peace. The two mares were still snuggled up together when one of them awoke to loud banging. Rarity sat up, trying not to disrupt the sleeping pony next to her. She climbed out of bed and put her robe on and slides herself into slippers. She began making her way down the hallway and towards the stairs, she heard the loud banging again, which caused some of the animals to scurry away in fright. She arrived at the door and unlocked it, opening it up slightly to see who it is,
“Flu-Rarity?” It was Rainbow Dash, her eyes were puffy and red, her face damp like she had been crying,
“Rainbow Dash? Whatever is the matter?” She was concerned for her friend, out of all the years the two have been friends she has never seen her truly cry,
“It’s… It’s Zephyr Breeze…”
“Fluttershy’s brother?” Rarity asked as Dash nodded,
She couldn’t believe what she heard. The sentence still fluttered around in her mind as she tried to grasp the situation at hoof. Rainbow Dash made her way towards Fluttershy’s front door at half one in the morning, some devastating news accompanied her about Fluttershy’s brother; Zephyr Breeze. Rarity let the saddened mare inside as she didn’t want her standing outside in the cold. She had offered to get some tea for the pegasus, but she politely declined mentioning that she wasn’t that thirsty, or even hungry for that matter,
As she entered the cottage, Rainbow had gone into detail on how she had stumbled upon the body. How she had entered the house shortly after bumping into Fluttershy and when she climbed the stairs towards his room she could see a dark liquid slowly flowing from under the door. Rarity, however, didn’t need to know every single detail, she didn’t want to know as it made her sick just thinking about it, but she couldn’t push her away in this state. Rarity decided to take her into the kitchen to relax and talk about what happened,
“Is Tank in here?...” Dash asked her quietly, Tank the Tortoise were always there for her and since he had gotten sick, Dash felt lonely. All she wanted at that very moment was to see her pet. Rarity nodded at her which had Dash smiling at her weakly,
It didn’t take long for the two to enter the kitchen. Rainbow Dash instantly hurried towards where Tank was resting, seeing him she smiled and picked him up. Bringing him over towards the island which stood in the middle of the kitchen. He slowly smiled at the mare as Rarity takes a seat at the island as Dash began rubbing her head against Tank’s shell which brought concern to the unicorn, “Rainbow Dash… Darling… I’m slightly concerned for you… This is something way too big to deal with on your own,”
Rainbow Dash looked up at Rarity, “That’s why I came to see Fluttershy… But I got you instead,” Rainbow said as she hugged Tank tightly,
“Thanks… I guess?” Rarity tried to brush that comment off, but it lingered at the back of her mind, upsetting her slightly, “I’m sorry that I’m not Fluttershy,”
“You know I don't mean that harshly… I’ve just known Fluttershy for years now and… I’ve dated her brother for just under a year… Everything is crashing down right now and I just need her to be here…”
It was strange, some sort of jealousy pinged inside Rarity when Dash said that, which caused her to feel defensive. So much so that she felt the need to protect her title as Fluttershy’s girlfriend, “Well, she’s upstairs sleeping right now and I’d rather not wake her up alright? She needs relaxation,” Rarity said, “Hence, that's why I’m here since I’m with her and all I need to be here… To look after her…” It was a slip of the tongue, she hadn’t meant to say it like that,
“I knew it! You two are dating then!” She called out, throwing a hoof in her direction, “I should have suspected this as Fluttershy had stopped asking me to come to spend the weekend with her since that girl can get pretty lonely… It’s all because the two of you are together!”
“Wait... What?” She was flabbergasted, “Are you serious? Did you come here just to lie about something so serious like Zephyr’s death just to catch out on our relationship?!” Rarity was disgusted, “How can you be so insensitive!” Dash then became defensive.
“Woah! Don’t yell at me! I wouldn’t dare lie about something as serious as that Rarity! Listen, I did find him dead! He was murdered in cold blood and I’m suffering! It just so happened that I wanted to find out if the two of you were dating! It was eating me from the inside!”
Rarity scoffs at her, “I still can’t believe you,” She gets up, “But, to answer your semi question, yes Fluttershy and I are dating. I’d rather you not know but this is way out of hoof now,” Rarity walked over to the sink to pour herself a glass of water,” This is a secret, okay? Don’t tell anyone,”
“Yeah, I’ll keep your little secret safe,” Dash said to her, “So, when did you get that done?” She then asked her,
“Get what done darling?” She was slightly confused about what her friend was going on about,
“That piercing? Considering that you don’t have the actual piercing in, I can tell you have just recently had it done,” Dash smiled at her as she said that which causes a nervous chuckle to escape Rarity’s lips.
“Oh yeah… I did get a piercing today, but I had some issues with it in earlier so I decided to remove it to avoid any infections,” She walked back over to the island and takes her seat as she takes a sip of her glass of water.
“I do have to admit, thinking about what it would look like if you had one in, you’d look pretty badass with them in,” Dash then continued to pet her tortoise, “Should I get a piercing?” She pondered her mind.
“Rainbow Dash, can we get back to the matter at hoof here, you’ve literally just turned up at my door, dropped a huge bombshell and quickly flicked off it soon as you figured out our secret,”
“I’m struggling to handle all these emotions Rarity, I’m not used to it… It’s hard…” Dash’s ears flatten as Rarity nodded at her,
“I couldn’t even imagine the pain that you’re going through right now Rainbow Dash,” Rarity said as she got up off her seat and walked over to Dash, pulling her into a warm embrace, “If you wanna stay over tonight you're more than welcome to. The guest bedroom is yours for the night,” Rarity said to her with a soft smile.
"I do really appreciate that Rarity… But what about Fluttershy?” Dash asked her, looking into her eyes.
"Well, what about her?” Rarity backs away from Dash, looking back into her eyes which prompted Dash to look away,
"We need to tell her about her brother’s death…”
"I’d rather tell her tomorrow Rainbow, she’s been through enough today I don’t want to add onto the pressure,” Rarity said, not wanting to go into too much detail with what today had consisted of, “Now let’s head upstairs,”
Rainbow Dash agreed and followed Rarity out of the kitchen and up the stairs. She was finally relieved that she had some confirmation on their relationship, she should have just gone to Rarity about it. Rainbow wished she would have visited under better circumstances, the two reached the top of the stairs and made their way towards the bedroom door, “I really appreciate this Rarity,”
“Don’t worry about it. Now you rest up Rainbow dear, we’ll discuss everything tomorrow?” Dash nodded as she climbed onto the bed, Rarity smiled at her, just as she was about to leave Rainbow stopped her.
“Hey, before you leave, can I ask you a question? About… Your relationship?” She asked as Rarity turned around,
“Yeah, sure of course dear. What is it?”
“I’m just curious about two things… How long have you two been dating for and why did you the two of you keep it a secret?” Dash climbed under the covers.
“We started dating just over a year ago, I believe it was around the time when you discovered that A.K Yearling was actually Daring Do,” She started off, “And the reason why we kept it a secret was due to Fluttershy. That poor mare was worrying about you guys accepting us and if you’d treat us different…” Her ears flattened, “I had the same fear as Fluttershy until Pinkie Pie mentioned something about herself being gay and how she was dating Twilight… A lot of weight was lifted off my shoulders that day… Fluttershy however, still doesn't get it that you guys will accept us,”
“You know that I’d support the both of you no matter what. You guys are two of my best friends, I wouldn’t think any differently,” She said to her which prompted a smile to form on Rarity’s face.
“That means so much Rainbow Dash, more than you think,” Rarity began walking towards the bathroom door, “We’ll speak more tomorrow, okay?” Dash nodded as she turned the light off and leaves her to go to bed.
Rarity sighed heavily as the door closed behind her. She didn’t want to break the news to Fluttershy, it shouldn’t be here in the first place, Fluttershy should hear it from her parents and not from either her or Rainbow Dash. Rarity pondered her mind on what to do, she knew that Dash wanted to tell Fluttershy herself, what if Rarity wasn’t here? Would Rainbow Dash really drop all that weight onto Fluttershy? Without thinking about how it would affect her? Rarity decided that she should get a message to her parents, she made her towards the stairs.
Rarity looked over the bottom floor, scanning around for Fluttershy’s phone. She never really had to use it, it was even rare that Fluttershy had to use it. She began her descent down the stairs, hearing each floorboard creak as she walked down the stairs. Once arriving at the bottom of the stairs she began looking around for the phone, “Where would she put it…” She asked herself as she walked towards the sofa.
She then spotted it, placed down on a side table. Smiling she walked over and picks it up, placed to the side of it was the phonebook. Fluttershy didn’t really need to have it filled, once she opened it up she only saw a single page of numbers, ” Okay… So, there's our friend's numbers, my number, Nurse Redheart… Tree Hugger? Wait… Why is she in her phonebook? She told me she cut off all communication… I’ll have to speak to her about that… Back to what I was doing,” Rarity then stumbled upon her parent's number. Smiling, she starts to dial it.
It rang for several seconds before reaching answer phone, she heard a male voice speaking, ” Thank you for calling the Shy household, I’m sorry that we aren’t able to make it to the phone right now. Please leave your name and number after the beep,” Then an obnoxious beep followed.
“Hello, my name is Rarity, a friend of your daughter. I’m calling to ask for a favour. I just got the devastating news about Zephyr Breeze. And I’m so sorry for your loss. I was hoping the pair of you would come down personally to speak to Fluttershy, I think it would be better for her to hear it from you rather than Rainbow Dash. If you can make it please come down to her house as soon as possible, thank you and again…” Rarity stops for a second to regain herself, “I’m sorry for your loss,” She then puts the phone down, sighing heavily she turned around and walked towards the front door.
“I really need to get some fresh air…” Rarity said to herself as she opened it up. However, she wasn’t expecting anyone to be outside. Looking up she saw Applejack and Fancy Pants, Applejack had her hoof in the air like she was about to knock, “Oh? Applejack? Fancy Pants? What are you two doing here at this time?” Rarity would have never thought these two together.
“Well, we would have actually been here sooner if that pink party pony wasn’t so persistent on throwing me a welcome to Ponyville party,” Fancy started as AJ nodded at his statement.
“Sorry we’re here so late, I’m glad we didn’t wake you up. Right now, I really need to make sure Fluttershy is okay?”
Rarity rolled her eyes and mumbled, “Why is everypony suddenly so interested in Fluttershy lately,” She said quietly as she opened the door wider to let the two ponies inside, “Yeah, she’s fine darling. Why do you two come all this way for? “ She smiled softly at them,
“Well Fancy and I was settling in for the night when we heard screams, nothing like I’ve heard before. I was curious and decided to go see what it was only to stumble upon a pool of blood,” Applejack said which caused Rarity to gasp slightly,
“I then mentioned that it was just a single pool with some feathers scattered in and around it, these feathers happened to be yellow and the only pony that came to mind when AJ thought of yellow feathers was Fluttershy,” Fancy said which causes Rarity to place a hoof at her chin to think,
"I don’t think she went to the farm today, she didn’t mention anything about it,” Rarity then closed the door to keep the heat in, “As far as I’m aware she went to her parent's house for the day and came home. A little over 3 hours ago,”
“When she came home today, did you notice if she was missing any feathers?” Applejack asked her as Rarity shakes her head, “None at all?”
“Applejack darling… I don’t just look at her feathers you know,” Rarity said as she chuckled lightly at her, “She’s got other features that I tend to look at,” She flicks her mane slightly, “But no, I didn’t notice any because she has to have her wings bound to her body,”
Fancy Pants cleared his throat at Rarity’s comment, “Well… That does rule out our fear that your friend has been hurt dear,” He said as Applejack turned around to nod at him in agreement,
“Thank Celestia for that,” Applejack then turned back to face Rarity, “I’m sorry that we wasted your time Rarity,” Rarity then shakes her head,
“Nonsense darling! You wanted to make sure a friend was alright and not in any trouble, I don’t see any issues with that,” Rarity couldn’t help but yawn, “I.. I really should get some sleep, I’ve got some things that I need to do tomorrow, do you guys mind?”
“Not an issue, thank you for clearing things up Rarity,” Fancy said as he and Applejack walked to the door, Rarity opened it for them, “We shall catch you later?”
“Goodnight you two, have a safe journey back to the farm,” With that, the two leave Rarity alone as she closes the door. Locking it up she couldn’t help but smile lightly. She can now finally head back up to Fluttershy and fall asleep with her,
The following morning, Fluttershy had trouble getting comfortable as she tossed and turned in her bed. Groaning that nothing was working. She knew she had to get up, but she didn’t want to, however, the sun had different plans. A bright beam shines upon the pegasus practically blinding her. She quickly threw the covers over her head as she blocks the light, she just wanted to head back to sleep, this was all in vain as when she got comfy she could smell smoke and something burning, ” What’s burning?!” Fluttershy asked herself,
With quick movements, she jumped out of bed and darted out of her bedroom. She was galloping through the hallway, she has never had to move so fast in her life. She reached to the top of the stairs which gave her a clear view of the kitchen. Her fear turned into relief as she saw Rarity and Sweetie Belle, she had completely forgotten that Sweetie Belle was coming over to cook them breakfast,
“I’m I doing it right Rarity?!” Sweetie Belle called out, her voice breaking when she said her sister’s name, this made a small smile appear on Shy’s face,
“You’ll get there Sweetie Belle, you’re doing well,” She chuckled at her as Fluttershy made her way down the stairs to greet them,
Just as she reached the bottom she heard another voice, “I’m sure you’ll get the hang of cooking soon little one,” Fluttershy stopped in her tracks, “Whatever you cook for us I’m sure it’ll be lovely,”
“Thank you, Mrs Shy!” Sweetie said, her voice cracks again,
Fluttershy soon entered the kitchen to see that her parents had come over and were located at the island waiting on their breakfast, “Mom? Dad?” Fluttershy started as they turned around to see her, Rarity joined in as she looked over at her, “What are you doing here? If you don’t mind me asking,”
“Your friend invited us over for breakfast as your mother and I need to speak to you about something important,” Mr Shy said, “But, I do want to get some food down me first,” He then looked at his daughter which prompted a quiet whimper to escape her lips,
“Rarity? Can I have a word, please? Outside,” Fluttershy said, gritting her teeth. Rarity nodded at her and made her way towards the pegasus, “Thank you,” She walks out of the room as Rarity turned to face Mrs Shy,
“Do you mind just watching over her while I just step outside?” Rarity asked Mrs Shy, she got a small nod in return from the older mare,
The two leave the kitchen and made their way into the living room. Far enough so that the three in the kitchen couldn’t hear them, Fluttershy looked at Rarity, slight rage fueled her, “Why did you invite my parents over?!” She said with her teeth clenched,
“I’m sorry darling, but they have something really important to tell you and it has to be face to face,” Rarity started, “They called last night and left a message that they wanted you to go back to Cloudsdale. I called them back up and offered them to come here instead,” Rarity lied, she couldn’t slip up,
“I can’t believe you didn’t wake me up and tell me though,” Shy looked to one side, “I would like to know these things before I come downstairs and mess up,” Fluttershy said to her as she looked back, seeing Rarity nodding at her, “Like, I wanted to come down and kiss you, but now I can’t cause they’re here,”
“Your parents really shouldn’t stop you from kissing your girlfriend, they aren’t always going to be around us you know,” Rarity said as Fluttershy sighed, “Listen, I need to ask you a question,”
“What is it?” Fluttershy asked as Rarity began levitating her phonebook towards them, Fluttershy watched it fly over, “What are you doing with that?
“I thought you cut off all communication with your ex,” Rarity started as she flicked open the book, “While trying to find your parents number I discovered you’ve still got her number,
“Rarity, I did. I haven’t spoken to her in over 2 years,” Fluttershy said as Rarity shows her the page,
“Then why is her number still in your book?” Rarity was hammering her with questions, “You better not be lying to me, if you did cut off contact with her, you wouldn’t keep her number!” Rarity throws the book down,
“Rarity please, I don’t want to start an argument with you. I don’t use my book anymore, I remember the numbers since I don’t have many contacts,” Fluttershy said as she picks it up off the ground, “You’re getting angry over nothing,”
“I’m getting angry because you lied to me!” She said as Fluttershy shakes her head,
“Please, calm down, I’ve had no contact with her, I promise,” She places a hoof on her shoulder, “You don’t need to be jealous over somepony who isn’t even in my life anymore, she’s my ex, and your my girlfriend and I love you. Okay?”
Rarity’s ears flattened as she let out a heavy sigh, “I’m sorry…” She looked up at her, “I don’t know what got into me,” She places her hoof on her forehead, “I love you too,” Fluttershy pulls her into a hug and plants a kiss on her lips, “I’m sorry for bringing her up… Just as soon as I saw her name, unwanted memories came back to me on how you were acting when you were with her,”
“I know my past with her Rarity… I’m ashamed of it, Tree Hugger told me that I’d be in a better place if I joined her and yes, I did abuse drugs but since then, I’ve become a much better pony now,”
Rarity gave her a soft smile before giving her a kiss, “I’m happy to see you as that better pony, and not as… What she made you…” Just then they hear something smash against the ground, it sounded like some glass,
“Oh! I’m sorry Fluttershy!” The two heard Sweetie Belle call out, resulting in Rarity chuckling at her sister before walking back into the kitchen to investigate,
” What in Equestria just happened? Why was Rarity acting like that? Okay, that maybe our fault, but I’m not complaining that was super hot how she did that. How is it our fault? Well, you remember when we had that steamy make-out session with her last night and that I bit her? I kinda… Sorta… Maybe… Turned her. You turned her?! Not fully! Just enough to become your very possessive, sexy vampire slave. Slave?! You’re not able to control her yet, but yes she’ll become like that when she thinks her status as your number one is in danger. But she’s my girlfriend, of course, she’s my number one, It also makes her ten times more hotter. She was already hot!” Fluttershy soon ended her mental battle as she saw Rarity and Sweetie Belle walking out of the kitchen,
“Hey, Fluttershy? You can go see your parents now,” Rarity said to her as she nodded,
“Thanks,” She smiled at her as walked into the kitchen only to see her mom cleaning the dishes and her dad were reading a newspaper. She walked over towards the island and sat down across from her dad, “So, Mom? Dad? What did you want to talk to me about?”
Mrs Shy turned around to face her daughter, “Fluttershy…” She started as she made her way towards her husband, taking a seat next to him, “I don’t know how to tell you this…”
“Tell me what? Mom? Is everything okay?”
“What your mom is trying to say is that this is about your brother,” Her father said, looking up from the newspaper, “He was found dead in his room,” He stared at Shy, “Rainbow Dash discovered him,”
”Oh no, such a shame! He had such a tasty personality!” Fluttershy stared blankly, “Oh no…” Is the only words that Fluttershy had managed to say, she didn’t know how to react… How to normally react in a situation like this, “Seriously?”
“Yes… I know this is hard to take in…” Mrs Shy said as her husband pulls her close with his wing, “The guards are looking into it as this very moment, the house is on lockdown so… Any chance we can stay here until we can head home?”
“Yeah of course….” She said, “So… He’s gone? Like gone, gone?” Fluttershy asked as her parent's nod, “ It’s a real shame now is it Fluttershy?”
“That friend of yours, the unicorn? Said that she’ll offer you any emotional support if you require it. She’s a good friend, you better keep onto her,” Mr Shy said, “I’ve taken the liberty to contact Dumbbell, he’ll be here around lunchtime to help you through this,”
“Lunchtime?... Oh no, I have an appointment then… You’ll need to call him and cancel…” Fluttershy said as she claps her hooves together slightly,
“I most certainly will not cancel him! If anything is going to be cancelled its that appointment!” Mr Shy said to her, “Your brother has been brutally murdered! I can’t believe you’d think about leaving what's left of your family! What if the murderer comes after us?! Our blood will be on your hooves! You’re staying in with your mother and I,” He shouted as Fluttershy whimpered,
It so happened that Rarity was eavesdropping on their conversation, “But dad… This is an important appointment… It’s about my wings,” She said as her father slams his hoof against the counter, causing the shy mare to flinch,
“That is enough! I don’t care about that! You’re not leaving this house and that’s final!” Fluttershy let out a yelp, “Now! Head to your room!”
“Dad? I’m 20 years old… You have no real power over me… And you can’t really tell me what to do…”
“I most certainly well can! Now go!” He shouted,
Fluttershy scoffs at him and gets down off the chair she was sitting on and walked out of the kitchen with her head lowered, ” What the fuck?! Are you seriously listening that that dickhead?! I can’t fight him… I’ll lose… Oh! Not if I take over!” Fluttershy stopped in her tracks as she stepped out of her parents view, her legs began to violently shake as she felt the feeling of something taking over. She wobbled, falling to her knees she stared down at the ground, ” No… Stop…”
She soon felt a hoof on her shoulder, “Fluttershy?” It was Rarity, “Hey, Fluttershy are you okay?”
“I hate him so much,” She said as she gritted her teeth, “Come upstairs with me?”
“Yeah, certainly,” Rarity said as she helped her onto her hooves, “Let’s head up,” The two then head upstairs,
The two mares have been upstairs in the master bedroom for just over 20 minutes. Fluttershy had gotten herself comfy by laying her head down upon Rarity’s lap. The two were making small talk, mainly about when the two should go shopping with each other. Soon enough though, however, Rarity brought up what she overheard when Fluttershy was with her parent’s in the kitchen, “Is her normally like that?”
“Usually. Though he can get much worse than that,” Fluttershy sighs, “This is exactly the type of thing you were talking about earlier when we were on about Hearths Warming,” Fluttershy brings her hooves to her eyes covering them, “Bringing unwanted drama into my life… Your life…” She then grits her teeth, “I still can’t believe that Zephyr is really gone…”
Rarity gave the girl a soft smile as she began stroking her mane, “You don’t need to worry about my life, it’s already a mess,” She chuckles to herself, “Plus, I’m here for you darling, I dread to even imagine how you must be feeling right now, it’s a lot to take in,”
Fluttershy then looked up at her before sighing heavily, turning her attention away from her, “I’d rather not think about it…” She said quietly, “I mean he wasn’t the nicest pony, but he didn’t deserve death… I mean he was such a toxic... “ Her stomach growled, “Such a toxic… tasty man…” She mumbled to herself, which made Rarity raise an eyebrow, but she just shrugged it off.
Rarity then uses her magic to pull the blanket over Fluttershy, “Then let’s take your mind off this terrible situation,” Fluttershy snuggles under the blanket giving a warm smile to Rarity, “I do want to ask you about the appointment you had yesterday,“ Rarity asked her, “Since you did tell me last night that you’d tell me in the morning,”
“Oh shoot, yeah I did, didn’t I? Might as well since I’m practically grounded,” Fluttershy rolls over onto her back so she could look up at Rarity, “So after you left I went into her office the first thing that I brought to her attention was the pain in my wings. Which would make that the second time that I’ve made an appointment with her this month due to my wings…” She started as Rarity continued to stroke her mane to make her comfortable.
“You didn’t tell me that you’ve already gone in for one? Is everything okay darling?” Rarity said to her, “It’s slightly worrying that you’ve already been in,”
“Yeah no, everything is okay honest. She ruled the issue out to be stress due to my animals,” Fluttershy mentioned to her which eased Rarity’s nerves, “She then said the reason why my wings looked the way they did was because of the body lotion that she gave me last time. I ended up having some sort of reaction to it,” Fluttershy lied to her,
“That’s a very strange reaction to it, did you at least get rid of the bottle?” She asked her as Fluttershy nodded,
“Technically yes, yes I did. It was only a small tube of the lotion so it's a one time use,” She smiled at her softly, “It was meant to soak into my coat and onto my skin, guess it kinda worked,” Fluttershy chuckles at herself, “I have to thank you though,”
“Thank me? Whatever for darling?” Rarity asked her,
Well, if you hadn’t insisted that I take a break I would still be in pain,” She then looked ahead as she enjoyed getting her mane stroked, “So with me taking a break I hadn’t had any pain since yesterday morning,”
“That’s really great to hear darling,” She leans down and kisses her forehead which causes the mare below to blush lightly, “Now, when can you get that bandage off?”
“I have another appointment with Nurse Redheart today, but my dad will kill me if I leave the house. Honestly, I don’t think he’d care if I died,” Her ears flattened, “Like if I got murdered by the same beast that killed my brother he would say something along the line of Zephyr had the better death and that I’m a disgrace to the family for dying like that,”
“Don’t say that about yourself!” Rarity lightly taps her on the shoulder, “I will not sit here and listen to you talk bad about yourself darling!” She then decided to lift Fluttershy high up into the air with her magic which prompted the shy mare to kick in response,
“Rarity! Put me down!” She growls rather loudly at her, “You should know damn well that I hate getting picked up with magic! It’s a horrible feeling!” Suddenly the door swung open. In quick reaction Rarity quickly let go of Fluttershy which made her fall onto the bed, “AHH!!”
Stood at the door staring were Rainbow Dash, she had hold of the door as she looked at the two mares. Fluttershy tried to regain herself, “Oh, I’m sorry, did I walk in on something?” Dash asked,
Rarity shook her head, “No, not at all,” She said smiling at her lightly as Fluttershy looked over to see who just walked in on them, “What do you need Rainbow Dash?”
“I just wanted to see Fluttershy, if I’m interrupting something just let me know,” Dash said as Fluttershy shot a death glare at Rarity which prompted her eyes to widen at the stare,
“You… invited Rainbow Dash without letting me know?!” Fluttershy called out in anger, “First my parents and now Rainbow! Anything else you’re hiding from me?!”
On impulse, Rarity said, “I tend to masturbate furiously when I’m home alone,” She blurted out without thinking, Fluttershy wasn’t expecting her to come with that, “Like I mean I keep going and going until I see stars,” Fluttershy wanted to butt in but she just continued, “I swear I’m not kidding when I say this but I can last for hours,”
“Rarity… Please, Rainbow Dash is right there… Can we not speak about this?” Fluttershy said as Rarity flushed a deep red, covering her mouth quickly with her hoof,
“Oh my… Why did I say that?” Rarity said; embarrassed with what she just said, “That was meant to be a secret…”
” Fuck me Fluttershy! Why the fuck haven’t you done anything with her yet?! She knows how to have a good time! I’m guessing this is your fault why she said that? Nope, this was all you, you’re the one who asked her if she’s hiding anything else from you. All she did was answer your question,” Fluttershy couldn't help but smile at her as Rainbow Dash made her way towards the bed, “Hey, don’t worry about it… Just… Watch what you’re saying next time,”
“Ignoring what just happened… Fluttershy can we… talk in private?” Rainbow asked her,
“Rarity? Do you mind just stepping out of the room?” Fluttershy looked at her girlfriend,
“Yeah… No, not at all… I’ll go into the bathroom… And um… Yeah, I’ll leave,” Rarity gets off the bed and began to make her way towards the door,
” Don’t have too much fun without us, “
“Don’t have too much fun without her, Rarity!” Dash said chuckling slightly at the embarrassed unicorn which had Rarity stopping in her tracks,
“I swear to Celestia, Rainbow Dash,” Rarity said through gritted teeth, “You better keep that a secret or you’ll regret it,” She leaves the room as Rainbow Dash couldn’t help but laugh at the situation,
“That’s not very nice Rainbow Dash,” Fluttershy said as Rainbow sat down onto the bed next to her ” I like her, can we keep her?” Fluttershy shakes her head at her alter ego, “What do you want to talk to me about?”
“Well, I’m sure your parents have already told you the news…” Rainbow rubs her head slightly, “I wanted to tell you myself, however,”
“I’m glad you didn’t! I’m sorry, Rainbow Dash, but if you did tell me before they did, I wouldn’t have been able to forgive you,” Fluttershy said as Dash’s ears flattened,
“I’m just… Really struggling right now, I loved him you know? Like true love,” Dash said, “I normally don’t have to deal with these feelings, I never thought that the one I loved would have been murdered in cold blood,”
” He did make a very nice meal, “ Fluttershy said out loud, which prompted Dash to tilt her head slightly,
“What was that?”
“Oh… What I meant was… He was a great cook!” Fluttershy said quickly to try and cover her tracks,
“Zephyr was a horrible cook! He burned water! How in Equestria do you burn water?!” Rainbow Dash said chuckling as Fluttershy started to sweat due to nervousness,
“Well I always enjoyed it, he had a very unique style of cooking,” Fluttershy then gets up off the bed, she had to get rid of Dash, “Listen… I do want to comfort you, I really do Rainbow Dash… But I’m dealing with a lot right now…”
“So am I! Please! I’m just needing somepony to give me some comfort!” Dash pleaded,
“Then go see Applejack or something,” Fluttershy said as she turned to face her, “Understand my pain as well Dash,”
Rainbow sighed heavily at her, “Whatever man,” She got up and walked towards the window, “You’re such an asshole Fluttershy,” She then flew out of the window leaving Fluttershy alone,
” What the fuck?! Why did I say that out loud?! Maybe it’s because I’m getting stronger, Oh Celestia…” Fluttershy walked towards the door,
Fluttershy left the bedroom and spotted Rarity walking out of the bathroom, her face still flushed a deep red. She turned around to see Fluttershy staring at her. She lightly kicked the ground, “Fluttershy… I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to blurt that out in front of her. I have no idea what came over me,” She said as Shy made her way towards her,
” You don’t have to apologize if you let me join you next time,” Fluttershy said smirking as Rarity flushed an even deeper red,
“I… Um… Y-You should head to that appointment of yours… You don’t want to be late now do you?” Rarity chuckles nervously which prompted Fluttershy’s ears to flatten, “You can sneak out the front door while I keep your parents distracted,”
“Then don’t have too much fun without me while I’m gone,” She chuckled as Rarity walked away from her. Fluttershy shook her head slightly, trying to push her evil self back. “I’ll be back just after lunch okay?”
“I’m never going to live that down am I?” Rarity asked her as Fluttershy shook her head as a no,”
“Nope, you are not,” She chuckles as Rarity rolled her eyes, “I still love you though,”
“You know you’re lucky that I love you because you would be dead meat by now,” Rarity said a Fluttershy just laughed at her and gave her a soft smile, “Now you, you don’t want to be late for your appointment!” Fluttershy nodded and began making her way downstairs. Rarity followed closely behind,
“So you go into the kitchen and distract them while I go out of the front door,” Fluttershy said as Rarity nodded at the plan, “Ready?”
“Ready,”
Fluttershy managed to escape her house, with huge help from Rarity as she managed to keep them distracted long enough for her to leave out of the front door. The only way Rarity could do that was offering to buy them lunch. Fluttershy was making her way down the road, galloping as fast as her legs could go, she didn’t want to be late, she can’t be late, for Princess Twilight’s sake. It didn’t take her long before she arrived at the hospital. It didn't take her that long as she was running as fast as she could. Arriving at the front entrance she stepped inside to see Nurse Redheart talking to Twilight, they looked like they had been waiting for a while. She made her way towards them,
“Fluttershy, there you are! What took you so long?” Twilight asked her as Fluttershy stood next to her looking at the pair,
“Sorry about the wait… My parents decided to pay an unplanned visit and I had issues with my special somepony… I’m here now though,” She smiles softly as the three of them go into Redhearts room, Fluttershy went over to the examination bed and climbed onto it. Twilight and Redheart walked to her, “So… How’s everyone's day?” She asked,
“Quit the small talk Fluttershy,” Redheart said as she began to unwrap the bandage, this went unnoticed by Fluttershy at first, “We’re on a tight schedule,”
“As harsh as that may sound Fluttershy, she’s right. If what Redheart told me is even remotely true then were dealing with a bigger issue here than just stress,” Twilight said as Fluttershy sighs heavily,
“Any more incidents of violence and or dominance?” Redheart asked as Fluttershy shook her head, “None at all?”
“I may have… Maybe in my head, yeah, but I don’t know, I can’t really remember,” Fluttershy said as Redheart removes the bandages, ” NO!” She shouted as she turns around and hisses at the two,
Her eyes turned a deep shade of crimson red. Twilight and Redheart flinched at this as Fluttershy bares her fangs at the two, her wings extended outwards to show them in their large leathery state,
“Yeah no, this is really bad,” Twilight said as her horn glowed. She bounds Fluttershy down onto the examination bed this, in turn, caused Fluttershy to fight against it, snapping her mouth at the two, “Okay this is a whole lot worse then you said Redheart!”
“She wasn’t this bad yesterday, I swear!” Redheart exclaimed. Fluttershy continued to struggle against Twilight’s magic, “Something must have made her turn faster… I should have told you as soon as she left yesterday morning,”
“You think?” Twilight sighed, “Do you know how crucial this information is?!”
“I’m really sorry Princess!!” Redheart shouted as Fluttershy continued to hiss and snap at the two mares, “Listen, right now we have to get her under control do you have any ideas?”
“Yes!” Her horn glowed brighter as she tries to touch it against Fluttershy’s forehead. Fluttershy, however, tried to snap at Twilight while she did this causing her to move back slightly, “You’re making this very hard Fluttershy!” She brings herself back to her forehead and touches it against her this causes the mare to become very sleepy, “This should knock her out for a while,” Fluttershy collapsed as her wings dropped instantly, “There…” She sighed heavily
“Princess? What's your idea for this situation?” Redheart asked as Twilight turned to face her, letting go of the magic that was bounding Fluttershy down,
“Tell me exactly what she said about Flutterbat returning,” Twilight said, “We’ll go from there,”
“She mentioned that she was scared that Flutterbat was coming back and that this time she isn’t hungry for apples,” Redheart said to her, “She then proceeded to hiss at me when I touched her wings,”
“This can’t be good,” Twilight sighed heavily, “Right, okay… Wrap those wings back up again,” Redheart nodded and went to grab fresh bandage “I’m going to cast a counterspell on her, the only issue with doing that is that we have to wait till she’s fully in her Flutterbat state. Which does include the eye colour change, the fangs, the change in her ears, the darkening of her coat and the change in cutie mark,”
“Do we have any idea when that will happen?” Redheart asked as Twilight looked back at Fluttershy; who was still out cold,
“I’m unsure on that… Which is a terrifying thought…” Twilight sighed to herself,
“If she’s not hungry for apples… What is she hungry for?” Redheart brought to light which prompted Twilight to look over at her,
“Honestly, it might be other ponies. She won’t be suddenly hungry for carrots? Or oranges,” Twilight walked towards the bed to look over Fluttershy, “Let’s hope she hasn’t bitten anypony yet, otherwise we might be dealing with a bigger problem then what we already have,”
“What do you want me to do from here?”
“Keep her here until she wakes up she won’t remember anything and should be back to her normal self. I need to get a message to the Princess… Tell her I’ll be over to visit tonight,” Twilight said as she began walking to the door,
“Yes, Princess,”
Meanwhile, Rarity had taken Mr and Mrs Shy out for lunch while Fluttershy ‘showered” and ‘finishes her animal caretaking duties.’ The two ponies agreed to go out with Rarity for lunch as they’ve never really been to Ponyville before. The three made their way into the town centre only to bump into the one pony that Rarity wanted to avoid,
“Rarityyy!” The pony sang, “It’s me Pinkie Pie!! Who are you with!” The energetic party pony bounced along to greet them,
“Pinkie Pie! Just the pony that I hope we wouldn’t bump into today… Pinkie, these are Fluttershy’s parents,” Rarity said through gritted teeth,
"Why is this pink pony being so loud,” Mr Shy said as Mrs Shy chuckles,
"Our daughter told us so much about her friends, aren’t you the farmer?” Mrs Shy asked as Pinkie shook her head at her,
"Nope! You’re thinking of Applejack!” Pinkie chuckled as she turned back to face Rarity, “Hey Rarity? Have you seen Twilight around? I can’t seem to find her,”
"Have you checked the castle?” Rarity asked her friend,
"Of course I have silly, Spike said that she just stepped out for something and I can’t find her anywhere!” Pinkie pouted,
"She’s your marefriend, surely you must have some sort of Pinkie sense to find out where she is?” Rarity asked just then she heard a grumble from Mr Shy
"Can’t we just go? We don’t need to spend all day talking to that… dyke” Mr shy said, making the last word of his sentence quiet so they couldn’t hear him, unfortunately for him, Rarity did,
"Incredibly sorry Pinkie Pie, but we’re in a slight rush to get some lunch while it’s on offer,” Rarity said as Mr Shy began to walk in front,
"Sugarcube Corner has an offer that lasts until 12 if you want to go there?” Pinkie asked as Mrs Shy spoke up,
"Oh! Fluttershy mentioned about the bakers in there! They’ve helped Fluttershy so much, I’d like to go see them!” Mrs Shy said as her husband groans,
"Urgh, whatever fine,” He continued to walk as Pinkie PIe jumped ahead of them, “Zephyr would have agreed with me,”
"Stop talking about him honey, you'll get yourself upset," Mrs Shy said to her husband,
Rarity rolled her eyes, " How can she stand that prick?! Celestia he's driving me insane!" The three followed Pinkie as she jumped towards Sugarcube Corner,
"Let me speak highly of my son in peace, he had everything lined up for himself and just like that poof, he's gone," Mr Shy said as Mrs Shy walks beside him,
"Oh dear," Rarity rolls her eyes, "Mr Shy, I've got something to ask,"
"What is it unicorn,"
Rarity gritted her teeth, "I heard what you were saying to Fluttershy in the kitchen and I have no idea what makes you think that that’s an unacceptable way to speak to her”
“I can speak to my daughter however I want to, I’m not about to stand here and listen to some unicorn tell me how to speak to her,” He huffs at her, “You don’t know what she’s really like behind closed doors,”
” Oh trust me, Mr Shy, I know,” Rarity rolls her eyes again, “I don’t care, Mr Shy, that’s still no way to speak to her,” They soon arrive at Sugarcube Corner,
“You should mind your own damn business if you know what's best for you,” Mr Shy said gritting his teeth so his wife couldn’t hear him,
Rarity just mumbled as the three of them walked into Sugarcube Corner, Pinkie showed them to a table and grabbed them a small menu that she made so they could see what they had on offer. Rarity on the other hoof walked over to the counter to talk to Pinkie, she turned towards Fluttershy’s parents as she could hear Mr Shy go on and on about Zephyr… Yet again… “ I don’t know how much longer I can stand him for,” Rarity mumbled, Pinkie raised an eyebrow at her,
“Stand Mr Shy? Yeah no, nor do I. Fluttershy told me everything about her parents when she was shitfaced last weekend,” It was now Rarity’s turn to raise an eyebrow,
“Wait, what do you mean last weekend?” Rarity asked as Pinkie smiles,
“I took her out drinking in Las Pegasus, super fun night if I do say so myself,” Pinkie grinned “Did you know that Fluttershy is a super hardcore party pony? And that's coming from me!” She then giggles “But yeah, after getting fucked beyond help she began rambling on about how much of a dicksucker her dad is,”
“She didn’t tell me that she went to Las Pegasus last weekend, she said she was busy with Zecora…” Rarity said as Pinkie shook her head, “I can’t believe she lied to me,”
“You make it out like you’re dating her,” Pinkie giggled at her as Rarity looked at her with wide eyes, “Oh my Celestia! You are!” The shouting caused Fluttershy’s parents to look over,
“Hush! Pinkie!” Rarity said as she pushed her along into the kitchen so they can’t be heard, “You got it right go you,” She started, “Tell me everything that happened last weekend,”
“I don’t think you want to know Rarity,” Pinkie sounded sincere,
“Tell me, tell me, tell-me-tell-me-tell-me!” She lightly stomps the ground whining,
“Okay fine!” Pinkie sat down to throw her hooves into the air in defence, “I’ll tell you everything that happened that night…”
Flashback
Fluttershy bought the 5th round of drinks for herself and Pinkie Pie, the two hadn’t had much time to spend together so Pinkie decided that the two should “ Totally!” go out clubbing together, however, Pinkie Pie didn’t think this through enough and didn’t realise that Fluttershy could hold her own when it came to heavy drinking. She walked over with two drinks and placed it onto the table where the mares sat,
“Holy Tartarus Fluttershy! You can really hold yourself on a night out, are you sure you're able to drink any more?” Pinkie called out which only responded in Fluttershy chuckling,
“I can hold out much more than I’ve already had, just wait till I get hold of Sunset Rum,” She sat down, just then someone walked over to them, “Oh go away,” Fluttershy said as the person walking over also happened to be Tree Hugger, “You know I hate you right?”
“Who is this Fluttershy?” Pinkie asked,
“Hasn’t Fluttershy told you?” Tree said as she takes a seat next to Fluttershy, “I’m her ex, her very sexy ex,”
“I don’t want you here,” Fluttershy said as Tree turned to face her, “Just leave,”
“Awe, but I don’t want to leave,” Tree said as she pushes up against Fluttershy, “I want to stay right here, next to you,” She smirks at her, looking into her eyes,
“Listen, hippy, she doesn’t want you to be here. So do yourself a favour and remove yourself,” Pinkie said as Tree looked at her, throwing her hooves into the air,
“Okay, okay fine I’ll go, but first, can I please try that drink?” She looked at Fluttershy’s drink, “It looks so good,”
“If it gets you off my back then go for it,” Fluttershy says to her as Tree Hugger takes the drink off the table, “You need to learn when enough is enough,”
“Yeah yeah,” Tree brings the drink to her lips, “You won’t be saying that soon,” She mumbled quietly, Pinkie, however, picked up on it,
“I’ll go buy the next round… Again,” Fluttershy gets up and walks away from the table leaving Pinkie and Tree alone,
“So, Fluttershy, isn’t she the best?” Tree said smiling as she puts the drink down,
“You need to leave hippy, she doesn’t want you here can’t you see that,” Pinkie said as she takes a sip of her drink, “What is your history with her anyways?”
“My history? Fluttershy and I go way back, I helped her through so much with my little friends,” She smirks, “One of them is going to be with her very soon,”
“What do you me-” Pinkie Pie gets interrupted by Fluttershy walking over with two more drinks, she sits back down but this time next to Pinkie. She grabs her drink off Tree,
“See, I let you have a sip now you should leave the table,” Fluttershy said as she takes a drink,
“Mmm, it’s like we kissed with you putting your lips where I had mine,” Tree said as she got up, “Hopefully I’ll see you soon,” She leaves the table as Fluttershy rolled her eyes,
“So glad she isn’t in my life anymore,” Fluttershy said as she continued to drink from her class,

“I can't really remember what happened after that... You might have to ask Fluttershy that... But after that Fluttershy began acting super weird like she began to talk about her parents, then that she was in a secret relationship. It didn’t take long until Tree Hugger came back and Fluttershy began flirting with her and brushing herself against her. It was very uncomfortable to watch,” Pinkie Pie said,
After explaining the full story, Rarity’s eyes began to twitch, her blood boiled, “She lied to me! Oh, I swear to Celestia!!” Rarity slammed her hooves against the ground in anger,
The day was approaching 1 in the afternoon, the morning seemed to fly by. Rarity and Fluttershy’s parents just arrived back at the cottage after a lovely lunch down at Sugarcube Corner. Rarity’s blood has been boiling ever since Pinkie Pie told her about what Fluttershy was really up to last weekend. She couldn’t believe she lied to her, lied to her about where she was and that she still talked to her ex. It made her think, what else was she hiding from her?
Mr Shy, as usual, made a very hurtful comment about Pinkie Pie when they left her bakery, about how sinful she is and that she needs to get some help by sending her to some sort of camp that would help her break out of her ‘phase’ of being attracted to the same sex. ” He’s really starting to get on my last nerve, how does Mrs Shy put up with him?” Rarity thought to herself as she had made her way inside the kitchen to clean up the mess that Sweetie Belle made while cooking breakfast. Mr Shy followed her in and takes his seat at the island to read the morning newspaper,
The two ponies were in total silence, barring the occasional cough that came from Mr Shy. It wasn’t too long until Mrs Shy entered the kitchen, “Hey, I'm just going to take a shower and go lie down for a few hours, is that alright with you two?” She asked the two. Mr Shy responded with just a nod, not answering her,
Rarity just groaned at his response before turning her attention to the older mare, “Of course that’s perfectly alright Mrs Shy,” She gave her a soft smile, “You know where you’re heading right?”
“I do, and I’d like to thank you for treating us out for lunch today, it was very lovely,” Mrs Shy said as she smiled back at her. She leaves the kitchen and made her way upstairs,
Just as she left and Rarity turned back to the sink to begin putting the dishes away. Mr Shy spoke up, “Hey Unicorn? Do you mind getting me a drink?” He asked her which had prompted the mare to roll her eyes,
“You do realise that I have a name?” Rarity used her magic to levitate a glass from within the cupboard to the sink, “I find it very rude of you to call me that,”
“You respond so well to me when I call you unicorn, so I’m going to keep calling you it,” Mr Shy flicked to another page of the newspaper, “You wanna know something?”
“No” Rarity quickly responded,
“I trust these newspapers with my life,” He looked up at the mare, “They’ve never been wrong,”
“Isn’t that a bit much?” Rarity gives him the glass that is now filled with water, “You can’t always trust newspapers you know?”
“Well I trust them with my life! I remember this one time, a bright young colt dropped off a newspaper that his school did, The Foal Free Press was it? Well, while reading one of the articles I noticed that they did a section on Fluttershy,” He takes the drink off Rarity and takes a swig, “At first I was actually proud of her for once, but that changed when I saw it was about her use of tail extensions. Completely 100 percent true,”
“Seriously?” Rarity asked him as Mr Shy places the glass down and nodded at her, looking up at her,
“Yeah, she had begged and begged me for them when she was younger. Now she never leaves the house without them, frankly it's a huge improvement to her looks,” Mr Shy then turns the newspaper again, however, his face turned sour, “However, sometimes I wish the newspaper wasn’t true. This is unacceptable,” He said as he holds up the page, “Princess Luna dating her head guard? Happens to also be another mare? Fucking dykes the lot of them! What’s next? Princess Celestia is like them as well?” He growled as Rarity gritted her teeth at his comment, her horn starts to glow slightly, “They shouldn’t be able to express themselves so freely like this, it’s disgusting! What are the children going to think?!”
Rarity just had enough of him, “You know what…” Her magic grips the handle of a frying pan, “I’ve had just about enough of your insensitive, homophobic comments and your bullshit,” Soon as she said that Mr Shy turned around, but before he could comment on what Rarity said she took a full swing at him. The back of the pan smashed around his head causing the male to fly off his chair and landed face-first on the ground. The sound of his skull cracking echoed throughout the kitchen as he laid motionless,
Rarity’s eyes glanced down at the man as she dropped the frying pan to the ground. It seemed to fall in slow motion, as though time itself slowed down, it soon however clanged against the floor making time resume its normal pace. The unicorn took a few steps back, her legs shaking, her breathing fast, “What did I just do…” Rarity then saw something, just beside his head was a small stream of blood, “Holy fuck!Shit!Bitch!Cunt!” She began panicking. What would any sane pony do? “I need to hide him…” She glanced around the room in search of a hiding place,
Just then, her eyes laid upon the kitchen closet, a place that she has never seen Fluttershy go into… A perfect place, hiding him in there until dark would open opportunity to sneak him out and dump him deep into the Everfree Forest in hope that Timberwolves would clean up her mess. Her horn glowed once again as she grasped the handle with her aura. She opens it and takes a peek inside to see if it was big enough to hide him, “He better not be heavy or I swear…” She walked over to the side of him and starts to drag him across the kitchen floor, “ Fuck me he is heavy! What does he eat?!” She asked no one in particular. Just as she was about to get him inside the closet she heard a knock at the front door, “Oh no… Please not now!”
She quickly drops the body down and hurries along towards the living room, she ended up accidentally standing in the blood puddle along the way, soaking her coat. She arrived at the door only to hear the knock again, “Hold on! I’m COMING!” She opened the door to see a stallion, who wasn’t even looking, “Oh? Hello?”
He turned to face her, “You’re not Fluttershy? Have I got the wrong house?” He turns back around to have a look at the pathway,
“No you haven’t, she’s at a doctors appointment this morning. Who are you?” Rarity asked him,
“Oh, sorry I'm Fluttershy's boyfriend, Dumbbell. Can I come in?” Rarity then gritted her teeth at his statement, “I can just wait for her in the living room,”
“I’m sorry, but she doesn’t need you anymore,” Rarity said to him which causes an eyebrow to be raised at her,
“Who are you then?” Dumbbell asked her as he moves his face towards her to confront her,
“My name doesn’t concern you but what does concern me however is you’re walking around claiming to be Fluttershy’s boyfriend when you know full damn well that you’re not dating her,” Dumbbell then looked the mare up and down, his eyes stumbling onto her blood-covered hooves,
“What happened to you?” He asked her as he points to her front hoof, “That looks like a lot of blood,”
“It was just a kitchen incident, I accidentally cut my hoof while putting some knives away,” Rarity lied to him, “Now while I fully appreciate you coming down to help Fluttershy. I want you to go back to your house, she doesn't need you,”
“And she needs someone like you? I want to see Fluttershy,” He barged past her making her stumble back, “So I’m waiting for her in the living room,”
“I’ve asked you to leave, so please, remove yourself,” Rarity said to him as she watched the stallion walk towards the sofa,
"Listen here and listen good, I’ve been asked to come down by Mr Shy to help Fluttershy through this difficult time. So. I’m staying,” He takes a seat on the sofa,
"Urgh,” Rarity groaned to herself as she decided to leave him. She made her way back into the kitchen
The smell of metallic filled the entire room as blood continued to ooze from his head. Rarity had to hide him and fast. She made her way back to his body and resumes where she left off. As she was pulling his body closer and closer to the closet, her magic grips onto a sharp kitchen knife, ” Got to make it seem like I actually hurt myself,” She thought to herself as she places the knife into the pool of blood. Soon enough she was able to stuff him inside the closet. She closed and locked the door, she's sighs heavily to herself, ” Now to wait until it’s dark… Celestia dammit… I feel awful… I just killed her dad! First her brother was killed now her dad!”
Just then something broke her out of her thoughts, “Wow, that’s a lot of blood,” Rarity turned around to see that it was Dumbbell who interrupted her thoughts, “You must have cut yourself deep,”
“You said you’d wait in the living room, so why are you here?!” Rarity yelled at the pegasus, “Go back into the living room!” This prompted the stallion to chuckle at her before walking to the fruit bowl,
“Only wanted some fruit, is that a crime?” He smirks and made his way out of the kitchen,
” At least he’s seen it. It’s slightly more believable, I hope he doesn’t ask to see the cut…” Rarity then used her magic to levitate some towels over,
However, before she could start cleaning up the mess she heard something from within the living room, “D-Dumbbell!” The front door closes, “W-What are you doing here?” It was Fluttershy, Rarity glanced up at the clock,
” Is her appointment already done?! It’s only been an hour! I’m sure appointments are a lot longer than that…” Rarity hadn’t even had a chance to go over what she was going to tell her about the recent news that she discovered,
“Your dad invited me over to make sure you’re okay, so here I am, your knight in shining armour,” Rarity practically gagged at what he said,
“While I appreciate the kind gesture… But I don’t need you,” Fluttershy said back to him,
"That’s the exact same thing that the stuck up unicorn said to me,” He scoffed,
"She’s not stuck up…” Rarity could hear the anger in her voice, “I said that I don’t need you, so please can you leave?”
"But, I’ve come all this way for nothing then,” He groans, “Oh, your suck up friend has cut herself. You might need to go help her, there was a lot of blood,”
There was a moment of silence, “First, you need to leave,”
Rarity looked down at her hooves and then at the blood puddle. She needed it to be more believable… She has to cut herself… She quickly levitated the knife off the ground and used a rag to clean off Mr Shy’s blood, ” I can’t believe I’m seriously about to do this…” She sits down and braced herself for the pain,
She brought the clean knife towards her left front hoof, touching the tip of the knife to her skin. Slowly bringing it down, piercing the skin she grits her teeth as she started pushing the knife in deeper and deeper. Her eyes began to water as she bites her lip to avoid making any noise. Rarity moved the knife back and forth slightly to make a believable cut. Just then she heard the front door slam shut and the sounds of walking approaching the kitchen fast,
Rarity quickly placed the knife down just as Fluttershy walked into the kitchen, “Rarity?” She started, “Dumbbell said you’ve hurt yourself, is everything okay?” She then stopped in her tracks. Her eyes glanced at the blood puddle then up Rarity’s body as she spots the blood-soaked hoof and tears dripping off her face, “Oh… Rarity...” She made her way towards her,
"I-I didn’t mean to make such a mess darling,” She looked at her as she takes a deep breath to try to help ease the pain. Her blood slowly cascaded down her leg and dripped onto the floor. The blood mixed with Mr Shy’s, “I-It was an accident, I got a little distracted while talking to you dad,” Fluttershy pulls her into a hug.
“Let’s get it cleaned and bandaged up so it doesn’t get infected,” Fluttershy said to her, Rarity nodded slightly at her as she watched her girlfriend walk towards the medicine cabinet. Rarity decided to climb onto the chair where Mr Shy was just moments before, “What actually happened Rarity?” Fluttershy asked as she opened the cabinet.
“Don’t worry about it darling,” Rarity said as Fluttershy took her medical box out of the cabinet and made her way back towards the unicorn, “Like I said, I got a little distracted while talking to your dad,”
“He can get very annoying… But I’m oh so grateful for you distracting both him and my mother while I sneaked out, where are they anyways?” Fluttershy asked her which caused Rarity to nervously chuckle,
“Well… Your mother is in the shower and your father… Just had to head out for a few hours, something about old work friends,” She smiled at her which in turn prompted a soft smile in return,
“At least they’re out of our way now,” She opens the box and takes out several cleaning supplies and began to address the cut, Fluttershy’s eyes were transfixed upon Rarity’s bloodsoaked hoof, her heartbeat raised to her ears. Fluttershy’s mouth began to water slightly as she proceeded to clean the cut, ” All that blood… You are very hungry Fluttershy, just a little… taste,”
“Are you okay darling?”
Fluttershy’s thoughts were cut short, she looked up at the pony and chuckled nervously, “Yeah… I’m perfectly fine,” She smiled at her softly as her stomach growled, “Just hungry… Considering I’ve been at the doctors all morning… I missed breakfast,”
“I’ll fix you something up once everything is cleaned up,” Rarity said to her, “But I want to talk to you about something important,”
“Oh? What about?” Fluttershy started to clean the cut,
“About last weekend,” Rarity started, “I know you weren’t at Zecora’s last weekend, you lied to me,” Fluttershy’s eyes widened slightly as she looked into her eyes, “Yeah, you know exactly what I’m on about,”
“Oh Rarity…” Fluttershy got interrupted,
“Don’t ‘Oh Rarity’ me!” She slammed her uninjured hoof onto the counter to make the shy mare flinch, “Pinkie Pie told me everything! The two of you were in Las Pegasus drinking! I don’t even want to think about how the two of you got served!”
“Rarity please…” Yet again she was interrupted,
“I said I don’t want to think about it! Especially you were flirting with Tree Hugger!! You lied to my face about this whole situation Fluttershy!!”
“Rarity….”
“Stop interrupting me!! Pinkie told me every single detail that happened that night!”
“RARITY!!” Fluttershy shouted, “CAN YOU PLEASE LISTEN TO ME?!” It was the loudest Rarity has ever heard shout before as she looked at Fluttershy with wide eyes and mouth agape. Fluttershy cleared her throat, “I’m sorry for shouting at you, but you wouldn’t let me get a single sentence in. Now, here’s a thought, before jumping to conclusions, like you always do, why don’t you actually speak to me about it instead of screaming?” Fluttershy asked her,
“I’m not apologizing when you clearly lied to me,” Rarity looked away as Fluttershy started to bandage up her injured hoof, “Lied to me about Tree Hugger and lied to me about where you really were last weekend, I can’t believe it Fluttershy,”
“So did Pinkie Pie tell you that I wanted nothing to do with her? Tell you that she came onto me? And tell you that I was spiked,” Fluttershy said rather bluntly,
“I… Um… Yes and no… Pinkie didn’t tell me that you were…” She stopped as she turned to face her, “Spiked…”
“I was going to tell you the truth that night, when I came back… Why I wasn’t in for the whole night when you wanted me to stay over,” Her ears flattened, “I just wanted to forget that night ever existed… I did go to Zecora’s that night, I stumbled into her hut and after she settled me down she was the one to figure out that I was drugged up,”
“If you don’t mind me asking but what happened to Pinkie?”
“Celestia knows, all I remember was that somepony was taking me away from her,” She takes a seat next to Rarity, “I’m really sorry about lying to you… I never meant to hurt you,” She finishes bandaging her hoof up,
“You know that I feel like such an idiot right now…” Rarity then sighed heavily, “You’re right about one thing however, I always jump to conclusions,”
“I understand completely,” Fluttershy grabbed ahold of her uninjured hoof, smiling at her softly, “It may have seemed like I lied to you which I technically did, but I had a reason for it,”
Rarity’s ears flattened, “I’m so sorry Fluttershy,” Just then she feels herself get pulled into a tight hug, she returns the hug and keeps the mare close to her body, “I promise you… Next time I’ll speak to you about these things instead of shouting at you,
Fluttershy gave her a soft smile which always made Rarity feel warm inside, “It’ll help us through a lot of our fights if you do. However I do have to ask something, did you personally go out of your way to find this out?”
“Oh heavens no!” Rarity pulled away from the pegasus, “I found out while I was complaining to myself about your father after he made very hurtful comments about Pinkie, and when I said I don’t know how much longer I can stand him for. Pinkie overheard and mentioned that when you were… In her words… shitfaced… You were talking about him,”
“I'm guessing that was after I was spiked, I normally don’t talk about him to just anyone… I just… I don’t want to think about that night,” Her ears flattened slightly as her head lowered,
“Well, enough of that then if you don’t want to talk about it,” Rarity smiled at her as she places her hoof under Fluttershy’s chin, lightly pushing her hoof up to have the shy mare looking at her as she spoke, “Let me know how your appointment when this morning then?”
“Oh… You want to know about my appointment?” She quickly looks away, “I can’t really remember much…” Rarity tilted her head slightly, “All I know is that Twilight was there and she’s coming over at some point today,”
“Twilight is coming over? Like coming over for some tea?” Rarity asked her as Fluttershy nodded, “We’d better get to cleaning then, I did make quite the mess,”
“Yeah you did… Rarity?” Rarity looked at her, “Can you head upstairs and go into the bedroom? Near the door is a box full of old towels that I’ve been meaning to get rid of. We can use them to clean the blood up,” Fluttershy mentioned to her which had Rarity nodding,
“Of course, I’ll be back soon with them then,” Rarity got up off the chair and began walking towards the stairs, avoiding putting pressure on her hoof, she slightly limped,
Fluttershy turned to face the blood pool, her mouth dripping with saliva as she licks her lips, ” Fluttershy, it’s free food, take the opportunity!” Fluttershy walked over and leaned down, her stomach growling loudly, ” It’s Rarity’s blood! Just drink it before she comes down! Do it!!” She then leans down and starts to drink from the puddle. She felt the warm liquid slide down her throat, ” Wait hold up… What the fuck that isn’t her blood…”/i] Fluttershy quickly brings her head up,
“What the hay…” Fluttershy mumbled to herself before leaning back down to give the blood another taste, “Who’s blood is it then? Did Rarity lie about her cut?”
” None that you’ve had before Fluttershy, this is all new… But there’s loads so quickly get as much as you can,”
She began to drink as much as possible before Rarity would come down and make her appearance. She enjoyed the free meal considering that she might not get another opportunity like the one that’s laid ahead of her… She then heard it, the stairs creaking as someone started to make their descent down the stairs. She quickly stops and hurried along to the sink. Her mouth was slightly dripping with blood, reaching over she turned the water one and quickly began to wash the blood away,
“I found the towels darling!” Rarity called out, singing slightly as she walked back into the kitchen holding a small box within her magic. She was still limping slightly. Rarity laid eyes upon the shy mare as she saw her with her face under the running water, “Is everything okay darling?”
“Fine!” She blurted out, “Just thirsty and I wanted to see if I could drink the water without getting a glass… I kinda got myself soaked,” She turned around to smirk at Rarity, showing her that her muzzle was soaked. Rarity couldn’t help but chuckle,
“You’re too cute, do you know that?” Rarity said to her as she places the towels down on the counter, “Now, let's get all this cleaned up before Twilight arrives,”
It took the two mares over two hours to finish. The whole kitchen was deep cleaned to remove the smell and the stain of blood. Fluttershy throws the last towel away as Rarity lets out a heavy sigh of relief, “I didn’t expect this to take so long,” Rarity said as Fluttershy nodded in agreement,
“At least we started spring cleaning early?” Fluttershy questioned as she chuckled, “Like a full season early,” Just then the two of them hear a knock at the front door, “Oh, that must be Twilight, I’ll go answer it,”
“While you do that, I’ll start preparing for dinner,” Rarity said as she walked towards the sink as Fluttershy left her to go answer the door,
Fluttershy had walked over to the door just as the knock happened again. She quickly answers it to see Twilight on the other side, she smiles at the alicorn as she spots Spike on her back. The other two return the smile as Fluttershy opened the door wider, “Afternoon Twilight. Spike. Please, do come in,” The two-step inside the cottage,
“I’m assuming that Nurse Redheart has already spoken to you why I wanted to come down today?” Twilight asked her as Fluttershy closed the door to keep the cold out,
“No she didn’t… She just told me that you wanted to see me,” Fluttershy said as they walked towards the sofa, “Is everything okay? I can’t really remember much of the appointment this morning…”
“Fluttershy…” Twilight started as Spike jumped off her back, she took a seat on the sofa as Fluttershy sits across from her,” I’m not sure how I can tell you this,”
“Tell me what Twilight?”
“That you’re becoming Flutterbat!” Spike yelled out which in turn had Twilight to shoot him a glare, “What?” He asked, “I only told you what you couldn’t,”
“I wanted to let her know a little less direct and let her down easy with the information,” Twilight said to him with her teeth gritted, “You’re being so blunt about it,”
“Flutterbat?...” Fluttershy said as she taps her hooves together, “I… I kinda already know that…” Just then Spike got up, “It’s been rather apparent for the past few days now...,”
“Wait a minute! Before we start, let me just head upstairs to use the bathroom,” Spike then began to run from his seat to the stairs,
“Hurry up then Spike!” Twilight shouted towards him as he throws a thumbs up at her before running up the stairs, “I’m sorry, I would like to get this started at some point,”
“Nothing to worry about,” Fluttershy smiled at the mare, “I don’t mind waiting,”
It had only been several minutes, Twilight and Fluttershy hadn’t moved from their spots. The pair of them were waiting in total silence while Spike went to the bathroom. It was an uncomfortable, awkward silence. With Spike dropping the truth bomb on the reason why they turned up and the confirmation from Fluttershy made the atmosphere to become thick. Twilight soon cleared her throat, “So… Fluttershy, apart from everything that’s been happening to you lately… How have you been overall?” She asked her causing Fluttershy to give Twilight a soft smile,
“Oh, I’ve been well,” She nodded at her slowly, “Apart from my parents visiting, I’d say these have been the best few days of my life, I’ve never felt so… Alive," She wiggles her shoulders slightly which prompted Twilight to give her a strange look,
“Why did you say it like that?” Twilight asked her,
“Like what?”
“Lik-” Twilight then got interrupted by Spike hurrying downstairs. The two mares watched the little dragon as he takes his seat next to Twilight, “Oh that didn’t take too long, ready to write everything down?” Twilight asked him as he brings up his pen and paper,
"Ready!"
“Alright then,” She then turned her attention to Fluttershy; who shifted in her seat, “Nurse Redheart mentioned that you’re seeing someone? Any chance that he can be here? Just so he can hear what’s happening?”
“Oh yeah… My special somepony... They won’t be long no-” Fluttershy was then interrupted by someone calling from within the kitchen,
"I’m here darling!” Rarity trotted out of the kitchen, “I’m sorry I wasn’t there to greet you I was just preparing dinner for tonight,” She smiled brightly as she made her way towards Fluttershy and takes a seat next to her, “I had to deep soak all the pans that Sweetie Belle used this morning, everything is still horribly burned,”
"Oh I could always go out to the market and buy some new ones, I’m surprised that they are still usable after what I saw,” Fluttershy chuckled to her statement as Rarity shakes her head,
"No, you will not! I’m not having you fork out to buy some more when Sweetie Belle was the one who ruined them. If anything she’ll pay for new ones,” Twilight then cleared her throat to gain the attention of the two mares in front of her, they turned to face her
"Girls, please,” She started, “I was hoping that it can just be Fluttershy and her partner while Spike and I spoke to them about something,”
Rarity chuckled lightly as she scooted next to Fluttershy, “Oh darling you’ve got it all mixed. I am her partner,” She smiled at her softly as Spike's mouth dropped open, this gained the attention of Fluttershy.
“Close your mouth or you might catch flies,” Fluttershy said to him causing Twilight to feel bad about assuming.
"Incredibly sorry you two, I didn’t know that you were dating,” Twilight looked to one side, she shouldn't have assumed.
"Don’t feel bad Twilight. We haven’t been open about it until now." Rarity said, giving the Princess some reassurance. "Now, I really want to know what’s happening to her,” Rarity said as Spike puts his pen down,
“I can’t believe you Fluttershy,” Spike said causing all eyes to be on him, “You know I love her! She was mine!” Fluttershy raised her eyebrow at him,
"Spike?!” Twilight shouted, “Stop it!” Spike shakes his head,
"Stay out of this Twilight!” Spike growled at her before turning back to Fluttershy, “You don’t even know how to treat her! Unlike me!” He jumped towards her,
"I have you know, I know exactly how to treat her. You just see her as an object,” Fluttershy said bluntly towards him, “Now let’s stop the-” She was then interrupted by a small claw colliding with her face,
"Spike!” Rarity called out, “You can’t just slap Fluttershy like that!”
"She took you away from me! You’re my true love! I can do what I want to prove myself for you!” Spike said as he walked over to Rarity, grabbing her hoof with his claw, “I love you Rarity, I can treat you like the princess that you are,”
"Spike! This is way out of line!” Twilight shouted at him, “I should have taken Pinkie’s advice and asked someone else to come…”
Spike just growled at Twilight’s statement, “Please Rarity… See that I’m way better than her,” Spike said as Fluttershy felt her blood boil, if he didn't stop now he would soon regret it.
"Oh… Spikey Wikey... How I’m flattered that you... “ She coughs, “Love me… But we would have never been a thing cause you see… I’m a lesbian and your a baby dragon…” Rarity said to him as she looked into his eyes, she could see Spike’s heart breakthrough his eyes,
"It’s your fault!” He shouted at Fluttershy as he walked over to her, “You used your weird stare magic to make her like that!”
"Spike, Celestia no, I was always into girls,” Rarity started, “I even tried to get with Applejack, turns out that she’s straight? Who would have guessed?” Rarity chuckled to herself,
"Please Spike, just sit down and do the job I asked you to do. Stop trying to make a scene,” Twilight asked him as he shakes his head,
"No Twilight! She knew that I was in love with Rarity and yet she turned her gay with her stare and got into a relationship with her!” Spike shouted at Fluttershy continued to stare at him,
“I’ll turn you into my next meal if you don’t back off,” Fluttershy said through gritted teeth, “Little Spikey Wikey wouldn’t want that does he?” As she said that, Rarity and Twilight both looked at her in shock.
"Spike… We’re here to help Fluttershy, not to make her any more worse,” Twilight turned to face him as Spike just scoffed, walking back to her and taking his seat and picks up his pen,
"She’s a monster,” Spike said under his breath. Fluttershy’s ears twitched at this, hearing what he said, something inside her snapped. Fluttershy growled loudly and dived straight at Spike,
This caused Twilight to back up quickly. Both Spike and Fluttershy rolled across the floor until Shy was above Spike, pinning him to the ground, her forehooves slammed onto his arms. She snarls at him as he struggles against her weight. Rarity got up, “Fluttershy!” She called out,
” What did I tell you?! What did I just fucking tell you!!” Fluttershy shouted at the baby dragon, ” I fucking told you that I’d turn you into my next meal if you didn’t back off yet you pushed me to my limits!”
“Twilight!! Help me!!!” Spike cried out, begging to be saved, he sees Fluttershy’s mouth opening slightly. He spots her fangs as they drip hot saliva, which in turn causes him to snap his eyes shut,
Suddenly, the predator was lifted into the air. Upon feeling the weight vanishing, he opened his eyes to see Fluttershy being levitated into the air. He turned his head to the other two in the room, it was Rarity who had saved him. Fluttershy squirmed in the air, thrashing violently against her grasp.
“Thank you Rarity!” Spike called out as he runs to hide behind the sofa, “She’s crazy!!”
“Twilight…” Rarity said softly as he restrained Fluttershy; who was struggling against her magic, “What’s happening?”
Twilight just sighed, “I didn’t cure her…” Rarity raised an eyebrow, “When she became like the vampire fruit bats… I didn’t cure her…”
“Are you saying that this is Flutterbat?” Twilight nodded, “Wow… She’s a lot more… Aggressive…”
“I’m still trying to figure out why it’s happening, and I can’t cast the counter spell as shes, not in her full form,” Twilight said as Fluttershy continued to try to get herself free from within Rarity’s magic,
” How many times do I have to tell you!! I hate being lifted up!!” Fluttershy shouted as she squirmed, "PUT ME DOWN YOU BITCH!!"
Rarity's eyes widened at Fluttershy as she called her a bitch. "Wait, you mean this isn’t Flutterbat’s final stage?” Rarity asked Twilight as she shakes her head, “Oh Celestia…”
”LET GO OF ME!!!”
“Fluttershy… I’m sorry I had to….” Rarity said to her softly as she places her to the floor, restraining her to the ground. Fluttershy saw Spike hiding,
"Heed this as a warning Spike, next time you won’t be so lucky!” Fluttershy growled as Rarity sits down on the sofa above her,
"Let’s get this underway shall we?” Rarity asked as Twilight nodded at her, sitting across from her, “Spike can you still make notes?” Spike throws her a thumbs up and grabs his pen and paper, still hiding, “So… Tell me everything you know,”
“What we already know is that she's slowly changing into Flutterbat,” Twilight said, “Her wings have changed, she’s got fangs and her eyes change to red. We don’t know what's changing her but we do know that she’s not hungry for apples,”
“You think… She could attack ponies?” As Rarity said this, the three of them heard Fluttershy scoff.
” Who do you think I am?! “ Fluttershy shouted, ” I may be a monster but I’m not fucked up!” She lied,
“I think we need you to not be present when you’re like this,” Twilight said as her horn glowed, she gets up and goes down, touching her forehead with her horn.
” Not again....” Fluttershy fell limp within Rarity's grasp.
“What did you do?” Rarity asked, “You didn’t need to do that!”
“I had to use this at the doctor's appointment, she’ll wake up and won’t remember a thing,” Twilight said as she sat back down, Spike decided to come out of hiding and sits down next to her, “I’ve contacted Princess Celestia,”
“P-Princess Celestia?! That’s a bit much don’t you think?!” Rarity asks her,
“Not at all, she’s willing to help if needed,” Twilight said as she looks down at Fluttershy, “I’m glad that you two are dating, you can keep a close eye on her,”
“I’ll watch her like a hawk,” Rarity said, “I’m usually around here anyways so it shouldn’t be an issue,”
“Thank you,” Twilight said smiling, “I do want you to contact me if you discover what helps her run faster,”
“Yeah of course,” Rarity smiled at her,
“Well I can’t do any note-taking while she's asleep,” Spike said as he scoffs, “So, Rarity, why are you gay? I mean, you’re missing out on this,” He gestures to himself,
“I don’t really know Spike. It started out as a 7-day free trial but I forgot to cancel it,” Rarity shrugged her shoulders at him,
“That’s a stupid answer,” Spike said as he crosses his arms,
“Well that’s a stupid question,” Rarity said as she glared at him, “Now I’d like you two to leave if you don’t mind,”
“Not at all,” Twilight gets up, “This stays between us three, nopony should know what's happening,” She looked between the two. "Not even our friends."
“I agree,” Spike said, “She’s crazy!” He then jumps up, “Bring someone else next time Twilight, “ He began to walk towards the door,

“Nothing to worry about, I’m going to take her upstairs and get her into bed,” Rarity then levitates Fluttershy into the air, her body still limp, “Please… Do bring someone else next time,”
It was approaching midnight. Rarity had managed to get Fluttershy into bed with her. She woke up a few hours earlier a little more clingy than usual. Rarity tried to get to sleep but she couldn’t brush off the thought of Mr Shy… She felt something shift next to her. Rarity felt the warmth of hooves wrapping around her and something attacking her neck, Rarity jolted slightly,
“Fluttershy?” Rarity said as she feels something wet slowly trace her neck, “D-Darling?”
“What is it?” She whispered in her ear, “Why are you interrupting me?”
“Because you’re licking my neck?” Rarity tried to turn around but Fluttershy stops her, “Fluttershy?” She didn't like to be held down,
“Why can’t you let me have my fun?”
“I’m not in the mood Fluttershy,” Rarity said as Fluttershy huffs before getting up, “Where are you going?”
“I’m hungry,” Fluttershy began walking towards the bedroom door, “Is that a crime?”
“Not at all…”
Fluttershy felt the room and began making her way downstairs, ” I can’t believe you’re walking away from her? She’s right there!” Fluttershy shakes her head, ” You can’t shake me away Fluttershy,” As she reached the bottom of the stairs her nose twitches as she could smell something, ” Is that… Blood?”
Fluttershy walked into the kitchen and continued to sniff around. She then stumbled upon the closet, blood slowly oozed out of the bottom. It didn’t take her long before she heard a groan. She quickly goes over and unlocks the door, it swings open and Mr Shy falls out, she quickly takes a few steps back,
“Dad?” Fluttershy said as he groans in response, “Oh dear,” She chuckles as she kicked the man, “Look how helpless you are right now,” She then smirks,
“Fluttershy…” He managed to say, “I need… You to get me to the hospital…”
“Do you depend on me now? Why don’t you ask Zephyr to help you? Oh wait you can’t,” She chuckles as she licks her lips, “He was a very tasty first meal,”
“Wait… What are you getting at?” Mr Shy groans,
“What I’m getting at is that I’m the one who put your precious son in an early grave,” She flashes her fangs at him as her eyes shifted into a deep shade of crimson, “The way he treated me all my life, he deserved to go out like that,”
“What are you?!” He screamed at her, terrified for his life. This certainly wasn't the mare he raised... This thing was far from it.
” I’m your worst fucking nightmare!” She then climbs onto him, pinning him down to the ground,
“Fluttershy! Please!” Mr Shy shouted as she opened her mouth, “Have mercy…”
“Have mercy?” She said as he feels something hot drip onto his neck, it was her saliva, ” My last meal got away, you're just a free course meal,”
“F-Flutter-” Just then Fluttershy latches onto his neck, sinking her fangs into his throat, “AHHH!” He screamed loudly, however he was soon muted by Fluttershy biting into him hard. His mouth still wide open trying to scream, no sound came out,
As she was feeding on him, her coat began to grow darker. Her usually healthy yellow coat turned a much darker yellow. She pulled back to show her father her fangs that were now dripping with his blood. His eyes grew wide, “What’s wrong daddy? Cat got your tongue?” His eyes began to flutter close, “That’s it, go to sleep. While you’re at it, say hi to Zephyr for me,” She then latches onto his neck again,
While during her feeding session she hadn’t noticed Rarity making her way downstairs, she wanted to know why she was taking so long to get something to eat. Once arriving at the bottom of the stairs she heard the sound of chewing. Walking into the kitchen she saw Fluttershy feeding on Mr Shy,
“Holy fuck,” Was the only words that Rarity could form,
Fluttershy shot up and turned to face Rarity, blood dripping as parts of his skin hung from her mouth, ”I can explain,”
“How the fuck can you explain this?! How can this possibly be an explainable thing?!” Fluttershy nervously chuckles, “Go on, I’m waiting,” She tapped her front hoof impatiently,
” I did say I can explain, I just didn’t tell you when,” Fluttershy licks her lips as she cleans the blood,
Rarity couldn’t help but watch as the scene ahead of her unfolded.

She had just caught Fluttershy doing something that’s so frowned upon.

Fluttershy was like a deer in headlights upon being caught in the act, the way her eyes were wide as saucers as she looked at the unicorn; who was standing in the doorway of the kitchen.

Rarity watched in awe as her marefriend resumed consuming her evening meal, draining the pony of his insides. She thought that the week couldn’t get any weirder, what with all the sudden outbursts that she has been having recently, however, this takes the cake.

Watching Fluttershy like that was almost like watching a fat kid at an all you can eat buffet if what’s on the menu was pony.

Rarity had taken a seat at the kitchen Island as she watched Fluttershy eat, the slow sound of flesh tearing and blood splattering across the kitchen floor began to become more dominant. Fluttershy proceeded to look up at the mare, mouth dripping blood, “Are you sure you don’t want any? I normally don’t share my food but I know how grumpy you can get when you haven’t eaten,”
Rarity gagged at the sight of the pony, quickly turning her head away in response, “I’m positive darling…” She soon heard Fluttershy return to munch on her meal, the slurping sound from her drinking echoed throughout the kitchen, bouncing off its four walls. Rarity decided to turn back around to continue watching her however something caught her eye. Something twitching. It was the bandage that was wrapped around her stomach. Something wanted to be free, Rarity smiled softly, “Here, let me help you,” Rarity said softly which prompted the vampire pony to turn around to face her,
Fluttershy then felt the bandage around her become loose, Rarity was removing it with her magic, “Finally,” She couldn’t wait for it to be gone. Her wings haven’t been used for a long while, which meant that they were in need of freedom. Soon enough it was removed and Rarity watched as Fluttershy’s wings extended and seeing them for the first time in their true large, leathery state, “I feel so free,” She chuckled to herself as she starts to flap them slightly, the powerful sound of the wind being pushed down drowned the obnoxious ticking noise of the clock,
Rarity threw the bandage in the trash. She wasn’t expecting her wings to look so… Different. She should have expected the bat wings, with Twilight telling her she’s Flutterbat and all… However, she wasn’t expecting them to be so large… ” They weren't like that a year ago...“ She thought to herself as she watched Fluttershy flap her wings more and more, she could feel the air being forced towards her causing her mane to lightly blow to one side, “You do realize that I have to tell Twilight about this right?” This prompted Fluttershy to quickly turn to face her,
“Yeah, no, no you don’t,” Fluttershy said as she stared directly at Rarity, blood was still dripping off her muzzle, “This can be our cute little secret, and then after I’ve finished,” She began gesturing to Mr Shy’s body, “We can go back to normal,”
“I’m physically watching you eat your father Fluttershy… This isn’t normal,” Rarity said as Fluttershy continued to stare, “Matter of fact… THIS IS FAR FROM FUCKING NORMAL!” She yelled at her,
“Hey! What’s with the shouting Rarity? Don’t you remember what I said?” Fluttershy asked as her ears flattened, “I’ll remind you… Talk to me before you scream at me,”
“WE’VE GONE FAR PAST TALKING FLUTTERSHY!” Rarity continued to shout as Fluttershy glared at her, “YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND HOW SERIOUS THIS IS RIGHT NOW!”
“You seriously need to calm down,” Fluttershy said through gritted teeth, “I hate the way you’re talking to me right now,” She began walking towards her, “Now, we’re not going to tell Twilight about tonight and we’re going to keep all this a secret,” She widened her eyes as she locked her eyes with Rarity’s, “Got it?”
Rarity tried but couldn’t break her gaze, it was almost like Fluttershy was preventing her from looking away, her eyes were transfixed upon Fluttershy’s, the crimson red reflected off her irises, turning her usual blue orbs into a deep shade of red to match the ones of the vampire pony, “Got it…” She repeated to her in a soft voice,
“Good girl,” Fluttershy smirked at her before turning around to walk back where her meal was, “Can I actually save him for later? He’ll last me a few more days,” She leaned down and latches her mouth onto his shoulder, beginning to drag him across the kitchen floor. Her eyes drifted up to Rarity as she was still staring blankly at where Fluttershy was moments before,
It didn’t take long before Fluttershy started growling as she struggled to drag the body away, she wanted to get him back inside the small closet, ” You know, I’m impressed at you, actually managing to keep her under your control,” Fluttershy then smirked at herself, ” I’m so proud of you,” Just as she got him inside the closet, a voice broke her out of her thoughts,
“Fluttershy?” She let go of the body and looked up and over to see Rarity, her eyes had returned to their natural blue, “Can we please talk about what just happened here? I want to get my head around this situation,”
“Can’t it wait?” Fluttershy asked her as she closed the door, “I’ve had a large meal and I want to go to bed,” She then turned away to lock the door,
“No. I want to talk about it now,” Rarity walked towards her as Fluttershy turned back around to face her to see how close she is, “I don’t want to wait for you,”
“Well I don’t want to talk about it right now,” She snarls at her, baring her fangs at Rarity. This caused the unicorn to stop walking, “All I want to do is relax Rarity,” She began to slowly walk towards her, “Will you respect that?”
“I-I,” She stuttered as she began walking away from Fluttershy, trying to get away from her, but Fluttershy was hot on her trail, “Y-Yeah I’ll respect i-it…” Fluttershy snarls at her as Rarity backed up into a wall, “P-Please stop…” Fluttershy stood up onto her hind legs and slammed her forelegs onto the wall, pinning Rarity,
“I don’t want you to ever disrespect me,” Fluttershy said as she moved her face towards her ear, sending shivers down Rarity’s spine, “If you do, however? I’ll make you into my next meal,”
Rarity let out an audible gulp as she began to sweat, “I-I um… I-In all honesty, this isn’t what I had in mind when I asked you to eat me the other week…”
Fluttershy couldn’t help but chuckle at her, moving her face down to the base of her neck, leaning in and slowly begins to lick her neck, “Celestia dammit Rarity, you’re literally just a walking sex hormone,”
“I-I have you know it’s been a while… Since I-I’ve actually done anything remotely like that darling,” Her face flushed red as Fluttershy licked her sensitive spot on her neck,
"Oh? So are going to forget that this morning you slipped up, in front of Rainbow Dash, that you tend to furiously masturbate when you’re alone?” Fluttershy said to her before moving away from her neck, she saw that the blood from her meal was smeared across her coat, “Red looks good on you by the way,”
She drops back to the ground as she turns around to walk away. Fluttershy slowly ran her tail across Rarity’s face and around her chin, thus causing another deep blush to form on Rarity’s face, “D-Darling…” She couldn’t deny it, Fluttershy was arousing her and she didn’t know how to feel about that...
“Now, let’s head upstairs and go to bed, Mama is getting very tired,” She turned around to face her, “Oh and don’t worry. I’m not going to do anything to you,” Rarity regained her posture, “Unless?”
"Absolutely not!” Rarity yelled out, “Not in your current state!”
“Then that’s your loss,” Fluttershy walked off and began to climb the stairs, “Come on then,”
” My loss?! Did she just say that?! What is with her? Yeah I get it, that’s not really Fluttershy, but yet, it still is…” Rarity decided to shake it off and follow Fluttershy, she didn’t want to be pinned again,
As Rarity walked into the master bedroom, a large gush of wind rushes over her as her eyes laid upon Fluttershy, who was opening the window which caused the sudden gush. The room became cold, “What are you doing? It’s freezing,” Rarity said to her,
“Are you high? It’s very warm and it was most definitely going to get warmer,” Fluttershy turned to her, “I wanted to let some cold air in,”
"Am I high?! Seriously?! You must be off your fucking tits if you think it’s warm in here!” Rarity yelled to her as Fluttershy snarled at her yelling, “You should know by now that I can’t sleep if the room is cold?”
“When you’re warm you struggle to cool down, at least if you’re cold I can always warm you up,” She smirked at her as she spreads her wings out, “These will keep you nice and warm,” Rarity couldn’t help but stare at the size of her wings yet again, “You clearly love my wings since you can’t keep your eyes off them,”
“I-I don’t know how to feel right now Fluttershy…” Rarity looked to one side to avoid eye contact, but she soon feels hooves wrap around her. Rarity turned back around to see that Fluttershy was pulling her into a hug,
Fluttershy smirks at her once again, “Why don’t we just head to bed then? We won’t get interrupted and can actually have a lie-in,” Rarity looked into her eyes before sighing,
“Alright… I guess we can…”
Fluttershy unwrapped herself and walked towards the bed, Rarity couldn’t help but watch as her body swayed back and forth, almost hypnotizing her into a trance. Fluttershy climbed onto the bed and pats down next to her, “Come on,” Rarity began making her way towards her, climbing next to her, “That’s it,” Fluttershy laid on her back with her wings spread out, “Lay next to me now,”
Rarity stared at her, “Oh, I-I don’t know Fluttershy…” She stopped for a second, “ I mean It’s far too cold to sleep in here so I think I'll sleep downstairs tonight...” Rarity was about to get back up, however, Fluttershy didn’t like that and sat up. She used her wing to wrap around Rarity’s body and pulling in her close, “W-Woah!”
“You are going to lay with me,” Fluttershy said while staring into Rarity’s eyes, seemingly locking her in place, “And you’re not going to get up at all tonight,” Once again, Rarity couldn't break eye contact, no matter how hard she tried, Rarity's eyes began shifting back into the same deep red shade as before, “Got it?” Rarity nodded at her, “Good girl,” Fluttershy then laid back down this time, pulling Rarity down with her, “Goodnight Rarity,”
“Goodnight Fluttershy…” Rarity mumbled as Fluttershy wrapped herself around Rarity, pulling her closer to her body, “I love you…”
Fluttershy smirked, “I love you too,” After she said that she licked her cheek slowly, Rarity snuggled into her as she drifted to sleep, “I’m seriously going to enjoy this,”
It came to the following morning and Fluttershy had woken up to an empty bed. It wasn’t unusual for her to do so, considering Rarity was an early riser, she should be used to it. However, when Fluttershy opened her eyes to see an empty bed, her heart sank slightly… She looked around the bedroom to confirm that she wasn’t there, which she wasn’t… Fluttershy sat up and yawned, it had been a while since she had actually had a decent night's sleep. Just as she was about to get out of bed, however, the bedroom door opened slightly. Fluttershy glanced over to see that it was her mother walking in to see her. With quick thinking, she wrapped herself up with the blanket before her mother could see anything.
The first thing Fluttershy saw of her mother was that she was a tray with her wings, “Fluttershy, darling I made you some breakfast,” Mrs Shy said to her. Upon laying sight of her, she instantly stopped in her tracks, seeing that her daughter was wrapped up like a burrito, “Oh no… Your friend was right you look terrible,” Mrs Shy hurried towards her, “How are you feeling sweetheart?”
“Oh, I’m fine mom… Just feeling under the weather, with Zephyr’s death and all... “ She said quietly as Mrs Shy places the tray of food down on the nightstand, “I really appreciate you making some breakfast for me… But I’m not really hungry right now…”
“And that’s completely understandable,” She smiled at her as she sits down on the bed, bringing her hoof to Fluttershy's forehead, “You are warm, are you planning on staying in bed today?” She nodded at her mother, “Good, good,” She let out a sigh, “I do have a quick question… Have you seen your father?”
Fluttershy shook her head at her question, “No I haven’t… I think Rarity mentioned that he had some sort of work-related trip… I don’t really know I was in bed…” Fluttershy lied which caused a nod to come from her mother,
“Alright sweetheart,” She smiled softly at her daughter, “Just to let you know that I’m going up to Windy’s house for the day, poor Bow has injured himself and needs help around the house,”
“How thoughtful, I know where I got it from now,” She smiled at her, “Will I see you tonight?” Fluttershy asked her, “Just so Rarity knows if she’s making more than usual,”
“Yeah, I’ll be back tonight, I’m just unsure on what time,” Mrs Shy said as she pulled the shy mare into a hug, “Does your friend come around a lot?” She asked her,
“You mean Rarity? Yeah she does, when it comes to this time of the year she knows how much the animals mean to me and offers to help around the cottage,” She lied again, “I’m really lucky to have her as a friend,” She smiled to herself, feeling a warm sensation in her heart, “She’s special to me,”
Mrs Shy gave her a warm smile, “I’m happy you’ve got her as a friend sweetheart,” She then gets up off the bed, “Well, I should head off to Windy’s. Get well soon, I love you,”
“Thank you Mom, I love you too… Don’t worry, I’ll be staying in bed all day today,” Fluttershy couldn’t help but smile at her,
Mrs Shy waved her daughter goodbye as she left her in the room. Fluttershy let out a heavy sigh before turning to see what her mother had brought her for breakfast. It was Quinoa Porridge and fruit, something her mother had always made for her when she was younger. She smiled softly at the thought before unwrapping herself and climbing out of the bed. She needed to find Rarity…
Fluttershy couldn’t remember much of last night… The last thing she could recall was seeing her father… And how helpless he looked on the ground… She needed to know how he ended up there… She left the bedroom, just within seconds of stepping out she could hear Rarity speaking to someone, deciding to investigate she made her way towards the stairs,
“Yeah, no I completely understand the situation, but you need to understand that I’m a very busy mare today,” Was what Fluttershy heard first. She walked to the top of the stairs to see that Rarity was on the phone, “Can’t you just send her-” Rarity quickly stopped, “Cheerilee! I’d appreciate it if you didn’t talk to me like that!” She yelled out,
” I wonder what Cheerilee is wanting from her…” Fluttershy thought to herself as she began to make her way down the stairs, ” Whatever she wants, she's upsetting her and I don’t like that,”
“I understand the situation Cheerilee, but I have an important client waiting for me at the boutique, I can’t simply drop this opportunity just to come over and deal with something that you should be dealing with!” Rarity said to her, she could hear someone coming down the stairs and turned around to see Fluttershy making her way down, “Good morning Darling, did your mother come and see you?”
“Um… Yeah she did…” Fluttershy then walked over to her, “What’s going on? Is everything okay?”
“Kind of, something happened with Sweet-” Rarity stopped again, “Yes she is why?” She resumed her call with Cheerilee again, “No! I can’t ask her that!”
Rarity went silent as she continued to listen to the other pony, Fluttershy took a seat on the sofa as she waited patiently for the unicorns attention, “Rarity?...” Then she saw Rarity roll her eyes before turning to Fluttershy… ” Wait… Did she just roll her eyes at me?”
“Fluttershy darling, I hate to ask this but can you do me a huge favour for me?” Rarity looked at her as Fluttershy nodded, “I know you’re sick and all but Sweetie Belle has gotten into a fight and is being sent home… Can you go pick her up?
“I mean, yeah I can do…” Fluttershy said to her as Rarity smiled brightly, her horn glowed and eyes darted away from her. Fluttershy followed her gaze only to see that she was levitating a box over, “What’s this?” She asked her as Rarity dropped the box in front of her
“Have a look inside,” Rarity smiled at her as Fluttershy could hear the quiet mumble of the pony on the other side of the phone, “I’ve said this once before, I don’t appreciate you speaking to me in that tone Cheerilee, I’m not one of your students!” Rarity huffed as Fluttershy chuckled at her
With Rarity being distracted on the phone, Fluttershy opened the box that laid ahead. Inside was something large and black that was folded up, she picked it up to reveal underneath it was a small bag of bandages in. Fluttershy unravelled the item in hoof to see that it was a black hoodie, “Alright Cheerilee…” Rarity gritted her teeth slightly, “Fluttershy will make her way over as soon as she’s ready, please just keep Sweetie Belle inside for now,”
Fluttershy looked up at Rarity as she said her goodbyes to the teacher before hanging up. Turning her full attention to Fluttershy, “So, to explain what I got for you. The bandage and hoodie are here just in case you wanted to roam around the house with your mother still here, considering the bat wings and all,”
“Oh wow… You thought of everything…” Fluttershy said softly as she takes the bag of bandages out, “Thank you so much,” She smiled at her,
Rarity nodded at her, smiling back, “You’re acting like your normal self right now,” Rarity started, “I’m guessing that you change once you’ve been…” She clears her throat, “Fed…”
“I think so… I do have mental talks with Flutterbat a lot, but sometimes she likes to… Take over me…” Fluttershy said as her ears flattened slightly, “It’s actually scary…”
“Wait, are you saying… That you can’t control what’s happening?” Rarity asked her as her horn glowed, grasping the bandage within her magic. She started to put it on for Fluttershy; who accepted it, “That is very scary to think about…”
“I can’t control it no… But I’m there… Like I can see it all in front of me yet I’m silenced… I can’t stop it…” Fluttershy said as she looked down, a hint of sadness in her voice, “And I know this is getting worse and worse because I started having thoughts about killing other ponies…” She looked back up at her, “Not to forget to mention that my coat is darker, I’ve got fangs… What’s next…” Her eyes began watering slightly,
“Hey… It’s okay darling…” She finished wrapping the bandage around her body, “Remember, we’re in this together,” Rarity smiled at her before grabbing hold of the hoodie within her magic, “Hooves up darling,”
Fluttershy listened and puts her hooves up into the air as Rarity puts the hoodie over her, “So what happened with Sweetie Belle?” Fluttershy asked her, “You seemed pretty annoyed at Cheerilee,” She put her hooves down,
“That’s because I am, Sweetie Belle got into a fight with Diamond Tiara. After everything the girls have told me about her I’m surprised I didn’t get that call sooner,” Rarity chuckled to herself, “Cheerilee was being very unreasonable with my timetable, she thought that I can just drop everything just to come and get Sweetie Belle?” She scoffed before walking towards the kitchen, “Are you hungry by any chance?” She stopped just outside,
Fluttershy watched her walk to the kitchen, “I… Don’t think I am…” Just as she finished that sentence, her stomach growled quietly, “Okay… Maybe a little…” Rarity could only chuckle at her,
“I have taken the liberty to… Gather some of your father…” She shivers slightly at the thought, “It’s only a light snack, however, so hopefully you don’t go full Flutterbat on me,” She fully entered the kitchen as Fluttershy inspected her outfit,
The black hoodie covered her bandage and most of her body which included her forehooves. She pulled the hood up and over to cover her ears. Fluttershy looked down at her hooves to get used to the feeling. Just then Rarity walked back into the living room with a small bag within her magic, it was filled halfway with blood. She stopped in her tracks and looked at Fluttershy, “W-What,” Fluttershy stuttered as she tries to hide behind her mane,
“Nothing, you look absolutely adorable,” Rarity gave her a soft smile.
“Y-You think so?”
“Oh, I know so darling,” She then continued to walk over to her, kissing her on the lips, “Now this is for you,” She brings the bag over to her, “Just a light snack remember, if you don’t go into Flutterbat we might be able to control this current predicament…” She passes it to her as Fluttershy looked down at the bag,
“Thank you,” She managed to say as she didn’t wait a second longer. She leaned down and opened her mouth, flashing her fangs at Rarity before biting down on the bag, puncturing it,
“Now, I must ask you a question darling, before you head off to get Sweetie Belle for me,” Rarity mentioned as she sat down in front of her, seeing Fluttershy draining the bag, “I want you to answer me with full honesty now,” Fluttershy then looked up at her, “Did you… Did you kill your brother?...”
Upon hearing that, Fluttershy’s ears flattened, she unlatched herself from the bag as blood dripped off her fangs, “I… I did, I just… He was meant to be the only one who died…”
“Wait, did you say only one?” Rarity raised an eyebrow, “Does that mean he’s not your only victim?”
“Yeah… It was Fleetfoot…” Fluttershy said to her, “She was being so sweet to me… But I was hungry…”
“It’s okay darling,” She puts her hoof onto her shoulder, “We’ll figure out how to deal with this, I’ll need to speak to Twilight about this though,” Rarity braced herself for Fluttershy to say no.
“Please do… I want all this to go away…” Fluttershy said as she bites back into the bag, finishing the last drop. She placed the empty bag down and wiped her mouth clean, “I want a normal life again…”
“Thank goodness…” Rarity smiled at her, “Hurry along now, I don’t want another phone call back from Cheerilee, she isn’t in my good books anymore,”
Fluttershy nodded and got up, “Yeah, I’ll head off now,” She began making her way towards the door, “I’ll see you later on?”
Rarity nodded at her as she followed, “Can you take her to Granny Smith, I’ll let her know that you’re coming down. She said she’d be a babysitter when I needed one,”
“Yeah, of course,” She opened the door, “I’ll see you later then… I love you,”
“I love you too,”
The walk to the schoolhouse wasn’t that long, max of twenty minutes. As Fluttershy made her way through the village centre, she was gaining herself strange looks from the residents due to her odd attire, if it was any other day this would have bothered her… However, she just kept making her way through, hiding her face behind her mane. Along the way several ponies came up to her and asked if she was okay and if everything was alright. Which she only responded with that she wasn’t too well,
Upon arriving at the school the first thing that caught her eye was the young fillies and colts running around outside. It must have been their break for the day. The first ones to notice Fluttershy walking over was Scootaloo and Applebloom. The two fillies smile brightly and rush over towards the shy mare,
Fluttershy! Fluttershy!” The two said at the same time, which had Fluttershy chuckling at them,
Good morning to you too girls,” The two hug her tightly as Shy returned the hug, “Now, the two of you both seem happy, what’s the occasion?”
“So I’m presuming Rarity send you down here to pick up Sweetie Belle?” Scootaloo said as Fluttershy nodded at her, “So I can say this without being punished… It was so awesome to watch Sweetie Belle kick Diamonds ass!” She chuckled,
“I’m wondering, whatever happened. Rarity only had a short amount of time to fill me in,” Fluttershy asked them as she looked at the two,
“Well, Diamond was heavily teasing us today… More than normal… She teased Scootaloo for her disability, teased me for not having parents and Sweetie Belle for being an unwanted mistake…” Applebloom started, “I guess Sweetie had enough and snapped, attacking Diamond, punching her and kicking her… Now Sweetie is being punished and Diamond is playing the victim card,”
“Wait, she said that all about you?” The girls nod, “And for sticking up for the three of you and fighting back she’s getting punished?” They nod again, “That’s messed up on a whole new level,” Fluttershy then looked at the school building, “I’ll get to the bottom of this, I’m going to go inside and see Cheerilee, maybe it’s a misunderstanding,”
“Okay, Fluttershy! We’ll wait outside!” Scootaloo said as Fluttershy smiled, “See you soon!”
Fluttershy walked towards the schoolhouse and climbed the stairs, only to hear a deep voice yelling. She recognised that voice as Filthy Rich, Diamond Tiara's dad, Fluttershy walked in to see him standing there with his daughter. Sweetie Belle was standing to one side and Cheerilee; who were stood behind her desk, “Hello?” Fluttershy said as they all turned to face her,
“Ah, finally, we can now get to business,” Filthy said as he fixed his tie, “About time you arrived Fluttershy, though, I was expecting that things sister to be here,” He then turned to face Fluttershy,
“That’s not very nice Mr Rich,” Fluttershy said as Sweetie Belle walked over to her and hid behind her leg and tail, “Oh? Sweetie?” She could see that the young girl was shaking,
“I hate to be the bearer of bad news Fluttershy, but Sweetie Belle here is going to be excluded for getting into a fight with Diamond Tiara,” Cheerilee said to her as Fluttershy nodded, “I do wish Rarity was here so I can fill her in, what was she doing at your house anyway?”
“That is a very inappropriate question to ask Cheerilee,” Fluttershy stated, “If you must know, I’ve come down with something and Rarity is staying over to help,” She snarled slightly, “I’m assuming that you figured out through Sweetie Belle,” Cheerilee nodded,
“Daddy!!” Diamond screamed, this caused Fluttershy to wince in pain, “Are we going to actually do anything!!”
“Yes princess, I’m dealing with it right now,” Filthy smiled slightly at his daughter, “Now, cut the small talk, you have to agree with me that there needs to be some sort of punishment for Sweetie Belle,”
“And so does your daughter, if I know Sweetie Belle well, which I do by the way. She has never lashed out without a good reason and from what I’ve been told your daughter bullies them, Mr Rich,” Fluttershy said as she looked at him, Diamond huffed in response,
“I’m no BULLY! She abused ME!” Diamond then stomped over to Fluttershy, “She attacked me for no good reason!!”
It was Sweetie Belle’s turn to speak up, “You started it!!” She shouted, “Stop making it out like I’m the bad guy here!!”
“SHUT UP!!” Diamond shouted as she stomped the ground, “I’M THE VICTIM HERE NOT YOU!!”
Sweetie Belle flinches at the sudden outburst which Fluttershy could feel as she was shaking, “Excuse me, I’d appreciate it if you didn’t speak to her like that,” Fluttershy said to her, “Didn’t you get taught any manners?”
“And what is that supposed to mean Fluttershy?” Filthy said to her as he walked towards her, “I have to say that I raised her well!”
“Well clearly you haven't raised her well since she’s acting like this Mr Rich,” Shy said, “Shouting out that she’s a victim, where did she learn that? Her mother?”
“Fluttershy! That is very rude of you!” Cheerilee butted in, “Mr Rich has raised his daughter well, Diamond isn’t the problem,” Fluttershy turned her attention to her, “Sweetie Belle is the problem, remember,”
“You’re so far up his arse Cheerilee!” Fluttershy shouted at her, “But, you’re just jumping on the bandwagon because he pays for this shithole!” It wasn’t long after that someone else made their appearance, walking through the door.
“I’m here,” Was the first thing that they said, Fluttershy turned around to see that it was Spoiled Rich, Diamond’s mother. She walked into the room and stood by her husband, “Now, full me in with what’s happening,”
“Cheerilee and I are going over Sweetie Belle’s punishment while Fluttershy over here is going on about how we have raised our daughter, calling her a bully,” Mr Rich said as Spoiled turned to face her,
“Oh, so the older sister sent you? Oh dear Celestia! What happened to your coat! You look horrendous!” Fluttershy then turned to face her, raising an eyebrow,
“I'll have you know Spoiled that I’m going through a very difficult situation right now, and I’d advise you to watch what you’re saying or you’ll seriously regret it,” Fluttershy said as she gritted her teeth, “I don’t think this was all necessary now do you?” She then turned to Cheerilee, “Saying that Sweetie Belle should be punished for sticking up for herself and her friends, it’s honestly ridiculous,” Fluttershy chuckled,
“Is she being serious right now?!” Diamond said, “Me being attacked and abused isn’t ridiculous you stupid frigid bitch!” She shouted towards the shy mare which prompted a gasp to escape Cheerilee’s lips, “Can’t believe anyone actually likes you,”
This was the last straw and Fluttershy wasn’t taking none of it, she slowly made her way towards the child, “Listen here and listen good you spoiled little brat! What I’ve heard from the girls is you're nothing more than a pig!” Fluttershy’s eyes shifted to a deep shade of red as Diamond began to back away from her, “A filthy PIG!”
“HEY!!” Filthy shouted at Fluttershy, “You can’t speak to my princess like that!”
“Oh, why not? Are you afraid?!” Fluttershy turned to face him, “Afraid that someone is sticking up for themselves?! Afraid someone is hurting your ‘princess!’” Filthy then began to back up himself, “You know what, all four of you in front of me now!” Fluttershy then laid her eyes upon Spoiled then Cheerilee. It wasn’t long before the four of them were standing in front of Fluttershy,
“F-Fluttershy…” Sweetie Belle said softy, “W-What has gotten into you?” She stuttered,
“I’m only going to say this once okay?” Fluttershy said as the four ponies nod slowly, “You will not, I repeat, you will not punish Sweetie Belle for being bullied! You will not listen to that spoiled brat anymore! She isn’t your fucking princess now is she?! She’s just a filthy fucking pig!!” Fluttershy shouted as her eyes glowed bright, Sweetie Belle noticed that the four ponies in front of Fluttershy, that their eyes were all slowly turning red,
“Now, I’m talking Sweetie Belle away from here and if either me or Rarity gets another phone call like the one this morning, you’ll all pay for it!!” She growled before turning around, locking eyes onto Sweetie, “We’re leaving, no questions asked,” She said to her before making her way out of the door, “And stay by my side,”
“F-Fluttershy? Sweetie Belle stuttered as she followed alongside her, “What was that just then?”
“Something that," She shook her head slightly. " I want you to forget,” Fluttershy continued to walk without looking back, Sweetie close as the two make it outside. Applebloom and Scootaloo, who were waiting for them, rush over, “Something that you shouldn’t have seen,”
“Sweetie Belle!!” The two girls scream as they hug her, Fluttershy cringed at the loud screaming… Her ears seemed a lot more sensitive than before,
“Hey girls… I can’t really talk right now,” Sweetie said as Fluttershy didn’t stop for her, continuing her walk, “Something is wrong…” She whispered under her breath but unknown to her, Fluttershy could hear her, “Like seriously wrong…”
“Oh? What happened in there?” Scootaloo asked as Fluttershy stopped walking and turned around to face the girls, “Did Diamond get what was coming to her?”
“Yeah she did and so did her parents!” Sweetie said happily as Fluttershy rolled her eyes, “You should have seen what Flutters-”
“Sweetie Belle!” Fluttershy shouted, interrupting the girl, “Hush and move it!!” Sweetie Belle flinched and hurried over to her, “I told you to stay by my side!” She begins to walk again, Sweetie not that far behind her, “I’m taking you to Granny Smith, this better stay between us okay? Or else you’ll regret it,”
“Okay, Fluttershy…”
Rarity had freed up her morning, she was glad that there was an issue so she could send Fluttershy away… Since the little hiccup last night she was afraid that Fluttershy would change her mind about telling Twilight about her killing ponies… She’d already killed two, who’s to say she wouldn’t kill again? Rarity wasn’t innocent either… She killed Fluttershy’s dad and if Fluttershy ever found out… She was afraid of being her next meal…
Before she left the house to go to Twilight’s, Rarity got a message to Granny Smith, telling her that she needed her to look after Sweetie Belle and if there are any issues that she should contact Twilight. Upon giving the older mare the message, Rarity locked the cottage door and took off towards the castle, hoping she’d have a cure for Fluttershy...
It didn’t take too long or Rarity to arrive at the castle, she thought that she really needed to see her friend more often and certainly under better circumstances. Upon arriving she knocked against the door, rarity never understood how her castle came to be but she wasn’t complaining, it was a beautiful sight. Rarity admired the beauty of it, soon enough the door opened and on the other side was Spike, “Oh, it’s you, what do you want?” Spike said, which made Rarity look at the dragon in disgust,
“Now Spike, that is no way to speak to me is it?” She huffed at him, “Anyways I’m here to speak to Twilight,”
“I have no idea where she is, but you’re welcome to look for her,” He opened the door wider to let her in, which she did, “Quick question, are you still like, gay? I need to know if I have a chance since Fluttershy isn’t here to try to eat me,”
Rarity couldn’t believe what she was hearing, she decided to mess with him. Smirking to herself she said... “Heavens no! I can’t believe you actually thought I’d date another mare,” She looked away to avoid giggling, “You should know me by now, I’m into men,”
“Oh! Well lucky for you because I’m a man! See look!” He tries to show off his non-existent muscle in his biceps, “Check out these guns!”
Rarity couldn’t help but chuckle at him, turning around to face the baby dragon, “Oh goodness I can't hold it in, you’re so hilarious Spike, I was only joking. I’m in love with Fluttershy and you need to respect that,” She then began walking away from him, “Plus, you’re a baby! And a dragon! I’m sorry,”
“Wow, just wow,” Spike said as he walked off away from Rarity, “I’m sure Pinkie knows where she is, she’s in the kitchen,” Rarity then turned around to follow him,
“Sorry Spike, but I had to, you have to stop pressuring me to speak about my relationship,” Rarity said to him as he takes her towards the kitchen, “I find it extremely rude,”
“You find what extremely rude,” Rarity jumped back slightly to see that Pinkie poked her head out of the kitchen, her coat and mane covered in icing, “Sorry for butting in but you sounded like you’re having a serious conversation and I’m here to weigh in,” She smiled,
“About Spike’s obsession with me,” Rarity looked at the dragon, “He can’t get it through his head that I’m happy in my relationship,” Spike crossed his arms, “Anywho, do you know where Twilight is?”
“Boy do I?” She giggled, “That pony hasn’t left the castle since coming back from Fluttershy’s last night,” Pinkie stepped out of the kitchen, “She’s in the library,” She then began walking to show Rarity the way, Spike followed behind the two. Upon arriving at the door Pinkie knocked against it, “Twilighttt,” She sang, “Rarity is here,”
Rarity wasn’t expecting a quick response, however, she could hear galloping towards the door. It was opened quickly and Twilight was there, mane messy and bags under her eyes, “Rarity! Just the pony I needed to see! Come, come,” Twilight said happily, “I’ve been looking over some books about supernatural entities and certain spells on being able to cure one pony of any problems he or she might have,”
Rarity made her way inside the library and the first thing she laid her eyes upon was piles and piles of books and scrolls, not to mention about two dozen cups and several dirty plates, "Darling, have you been at this all night?" She asked her friend, who responded with a nod, "Oh dear,"
"Oh yeah I have, but it's not just me, I got a message to Princess Celestia and she's been helping me from Canterlot. She's even coming here with even more books," Twilight smiled brightly, "She's fascinated by the return of Flutterbat,"
"I asked her multiple times to take a break, yet she's still at it," Pinkie said chuckling, "But I can't really blame her, from what I heard it's pretty serious. At least she isn't eating ponies,"
"Funny you mentioned that… She kinda… sorta… does eat ponies," Rarity said as Twilight just stared at her, before sighing heavily,
“I should have known… That's how she's grown stronger,"
“Not to mention she's killed those ponies as well… Including her brother, a member of the Wonderbolts and her father…" Rarity said as she sat down by Twilight who only responded with another heavy sigh,
“It sounds like the more she eats the worse she becomes," Pinkie then said to join in the conversation, "So what if she doesn't eat?"
"I don't really want to find out what happens if she doesn't eat… I did give her a small snack this morning and it seemed that it didn't affect her, so maybe we can work off that for a bit," Rarity suggested as Spike made a comment,
"Are you sure you're gay? Like you really don't seem it,"
“SPIKE!! THIS REALLY ISN'T THE TIME!!" Twilight snapped at him, turning to face the dragon, "CAN YOU MAKE YOURSELF USEFUL AND FIX US SOME COFFEE!!" Spike hurried out of the room and Twilight sighed yet again, "I'm sorry Rarity… He's been like this since we discovered that you and Fluttershy were dating,"
“He did ask me something familiar at the door when I knocked, he's getting on my last nerve and I doubt Fluttershy is happy with him," Rarity said, soon after Twilight's phone rings,
Grasping the phone with her magic, Twilight brings it to her ear and answers it, "Hello?" She said as Rarity decided to look at some of the books,
Pinkie takes a seat next to her and grabbed one of the books, "I tell you, with giving her food throughout the night I came across this one that sparked my attention," She puts it in front of Rarity, the first thing she saw was that on the front cover was some sort of pegasus pony, however, they looked different to the average pegasus was the bat-like wings, "Twilight mentioned to me while we looked at this book that they are a rare breed of pegasi called respectively 'bat pony' a lot of Princess Luna's guards are bat pony," Pinkie then opened the book,
Just then the two heard, "Oh Granny Smith? What can I do for you?" Rarity turned to look at Twilight as Pinkie followed her gaze, "Yeah Rarity's here, is everything alright?" Rarity's ears twitch upon hearing her name, "What about Fluttershy? What happened Granny?"
“Oh no,”
Twilight's facial expression changed to a horrific one as she turned to face Rarity: who could read it all, "Thank you for letting me know Granny Smith, keep Sweetie Belle safe," Twilight then puts the phone down and looked over to Rarity and Pinkie, "Okay we might have an issue,"
"What happened Twilight? Why was Granny Smith calling?" Pinkie asked her as Spike came in with three cups of coffee,
“We better head back to Fluttershy's cottage," Twilight said to all three of them, "Fluttershy had an incident while picking Sweetie Belle up from school today," Both Rarity and Pinkie got up, "Let's go,"
The four of them wasted no time with rushing out of the castle and onto the path towards the cottage, Spike was holding tightly onto Twilight as they galloped through the centre. Rarity couldn't help but think of the worst, maybe the small snack she had earlier affected her… Ponies couldn’t help but watch as the tree ponies and baby dragon dashed through the village centre, then Spike made a comment as he was slightly confused on the situation, “What’s happening Twilight?” He asked,
“All you really need to know right now is that we need to get to Fluttershy’s now,” Twilight said as they began nearing the cottage, “Before it’s too late,”
“It might already be too late,” Pinkie said, “Look at her door!”
While running, Rarity looked over and laid her eyes upon the front door, seeing that it was kicked down and broken off its hinges. She suddenly felt the adrenaline kick in as she runs ahead of the others, wanting to get inside first. Jumping over the broken door she looked around the living room, “Fluttershy darling?” She said, in response, she heard grunting coming from the kitchen, “I heard you ran into some trouble while you were at the school…” She walked towards the kitchen as the other three run inside, “Do you want to talk about it?”
The only response she got was a low growling noise. Rarity continued to walk towards the kitchen, this time Pinkie, Twilight and Spike close behind her, “Darling..” She walked within view of the kitchen only to see Fluttershy biting against the hoodie, trying to free herself from a clothing imprisonment. Her eyes then drifted to the body on the floor, Fluttershy must have dragged out Mr Shy back out of the closet, however, the body had decayed beyond recognition, “F-Fluttershy?”
“Get this off me!!” Fluttershy screamed at her, still trying to bite it off, “I don’t want this thing on me anymore!! REMOVE IT!!”
“No Fluttershy I will not, you’re meant to keep it on,” Rarity said as Twilight and Pinkie walked next to her, Spike till on Twilight’s back jumped off. All three of them saw the dead body and Fluttershy struggling against her clothes, “Will you please talk to me?”
Fluttershy turned to see Rarity standing in the kitchen, she then was surprised when she spotted the other three, she snarls, “Why! Why did you tell her when I specifically told you not to!!” Fluttershy then growled at Rarity, “I don’t want them here!!” She then went back to try and get the hoodie off, “I told you I never wanted you to disrespect me!!”
“Hey, the feeling is mutual,” Spike said which prompted a glare from Rarity, Twilight and Pinkie, “What’s with that look?”
“Spike, need I remind you that just the other day you were almost vampire food?” Rarity said as Fluttershy continued to growl, “You might not get so lucky next time,”
Spike just chuckled at her, “You three wouldn’t let anything happen to me, so I’m safe,” She then walked towards Fluttershy, “She wouldn’t dare do anything to me with you guys around, she loves me too much,”
“You’re walking on very thin ice right now, Spike,” Pinkie then said, “Remember this isn’t really Fluttershy,”
“And like I said, I’m safe with you guys around,” Spike smiled before petting Fluttershy on her back, “Fluttershy loves me, don’t you?” He then turned to face her which prompted the mare to snarl at him,
“Spike... “ Twilight said softly, “Come over here please…” Spike turned back towards the girls,
“Here’s a great idea, why don’t we all sit down and have a conversation with her,” Spike suggested, “You know, get to know this version of her,”
“You’re seriously not getting it, Spike,” Pinkie started as she slowly walked towards him, “We don’t want you to get hurt by her…”
Spike rolled his eyes, “I’m being serious, she wouldn’t hurt a scale on me,” He then grabbed her chin and began pinching her cheeks, “See?” Just then Spike could feel something wet on his claw, “Um, you’re drooling Fluttershy,” He takes his claw off her face and wipes it on his chest,
Fluttershy’s anger was boiling, “Can you get it through your thick skull already? You absolute idiot,” Fluttershy said as she bares her fangs, “You’re just another meal to me,” She slowly licked her lips to try to clean up some of the drool but it continued to drip,
“He’s just a baby…” Twilight said as she looked her in the eyes, “Please… We can help you… Change you back…”
“But, I like this version of myself, I’m a lot more confident,” Fluttershy said as her gaze fixed upon Rarity’s eyes, “Would you be ever so kind in removing this dreadful hoodie,” Twilight and Pinkie both followed her gaze, seeing that she was staring at Rarity. Her usual blue eyes started to fade to a deep red, “Please,”
Spike then joined in their glance as Rarity’s horn started to glow. Fluttershy grinned, feeling the hoodie being tugged. She quickly threw her hooves into the air as Rarity proceeded to remove the article of clothing, “Hey! What is she doing to her?” Spike asked Twilight,
“It looks like she’s putting her under her control… Spike get over here,” Twilight said as Rarity freed Fluttershy from her clothing, “Rarity please snap out of it,” Spike quickly rushed over to Twilight and hides behind her,
Fluttershy could only chuckle at her, “Oh how wonderful,” She then looked at Twilight, “You know, this is all your fault right?” She began to slowly walk towards her, “You’re the one who made me like this and yet you don’t feel any remorse!”
“You know damn well Twilight has been working her arse off Fluttershy to try fix this! You can’t keep blaming her!!” Pinkie shouted, “It was a mistake to pressure you into doing the stare on the vampire fruit bats! We made a mistake!!”
“Don’t you think it’s a little late on that apology?” She said to Pinkie before turning her attention to Rarity, “Remove the bandage,” Pinkie turned back to see Rarity slowly nodding before using her magic to get rid of it,
“Oh! Now I see it!” Spike said before looking at Fluttershy, “This is how you got Rarity to date you!” Both Twilight and Pinkie couldn’t help but smack their faces with their hooves, “Rarity doesn’t really love you!”
“Is this kid serious?” Fluttershy started, “Oh my FUCK you’re an actual idiot!” Rarity soon removed the bandage, “You really can’t just accept the fact that you have zero chance with her?” Fluttershy stretches her wings, prompting a sight gasp from the two other ponies, “You’re seriously asking for a one-way ticket to becoming my meal,”
“Fluttershy… Let’s talk things over…” Twilight said softly, “You don’t need to hurt him…”
Pinkie walked in front of Spike to push him back slightly, “Yeah Fluttershy… He’s your friend…” Spike hides behind her, “You need to release Rarity, we can talk this over,”
“Urgh, if you so wish,” Fluttershy said as she looked at Rarity again, bringing her back, “What happened? You used to be fun,” Rarity’s eyes regained their natural blue,
Rarity shakes her head as she wobbled slightly, “Woah… These migraines are getting worse and worse…” Rarity said to herself before laying eyes upon Fluttershy, “Wait, how did you get that hoodie off? And the bandage!”
“Don’t worry Rarity,” Spike said as he ran towards her, grabbing hold of her front hoof, “I’m here to save you, I’m your knight in shining armour,” Rarity then looked down at him, “Then after we’ve sorted out McKilly pants over here… You’ll be mine,”
Fluttershy growled as she readied herself, “Why am I giving so many chances?!” She began to charge at him, “You’re so dead Spike!!” With panic, Spike pushes Rarity in front of him just as Fluttershy dived at him, this, in turn, causes Fluttershy to grab hold of Rarity’s neck instead. The two ponies rolled along the ground as Spike hurried towards Twilight and Pinkie; who had taken several steps back. Fluttershy was now above Rarity, pinning her to the ground with her wings extended. With her mouth latched to her neck she hadn’t realised that she had her in this position,
“Fluttershy!! Don’t bite her!!” Pinkie screamed which had resulted in Fluttershy quickly unlatching herself and bringing her head back to see that she had pinned Rarity instead, she was violently shaking,
“You’ve got to be fucking kidding me!!” She shouted as she slammed her front hooves onto the floor, “You’re no fucking man Spike!! You seriously pushed her in front of you to avoid getting pinned?! YOU WANTED HER TO DIE!! I’M GOING TO FUCKING KILL YOU!!” Fluttershy turned to face him,
Spike was shaking, “Please no!!” Fluttershy then dived at him, “FLUTTERSHY!”
Just as she dived… Everything seemed to go in slow motion for Twilight… She couldn’t react quick enough to save him.. Fluttershy dived towards the baby dragon, this time being successful with snapping her mouth around his neck and biting down to break his scales and skin. He screamed in pain as his little legs began kicking to try get the predator off him, “TWILIGHT!!” He shouted, “HELP PLEASE!!” However, she couldn’t… She watched in horror as Fluttershy took his life away from him… His cry for help died down as Pinkie tried to get her off him,
Fluttershy turned around and hissed at Pinkie at her touching her, her eyes glowed red as she did so. Just then Fluttershy holds her head in pain, Pinkie backed up slightly as this happened, “What’s happening with her?” She asked as Fluttershy gritted her teeth, she stumbles back slightly,
“I don’t know what’s happening to her…” Twilight said, just then, they all saw Fluttershy slowly grow in size. She became a lot bigger and a lot stronger. Her mouth opened as blood dripped off them, “This isn’t good…” She noticed that her cutie mark had completely vanished, Fluttershy resumed mauling Spike,
“Oh dear…” Rarity said as she looked over to Twilight and Pinkie, “T-Twilight? P-Pinkie…”
“I don’t know what to do…” Twilight said, “I honestly don’t know what to do…”
“We need to get out of here, that's what we need to do!” Pinkie said as Rarity picked herself off the ground, “Before she eats us all!”
“I... I’m scared…,” Rarity said as Fluttershy lifted her head up and turned to face Rarity, Spike’s blood dripping off her mouth, “F-Fluttershy…”
