It was a beautiful day in Ponyville and every one was finishing up with the winter wrap up. Twilight Sparkle, Princess Celestia, and Luna were talking under an apple tree. “Twilight Sparkle, this year's winter wrap up was a complete success. Thank you.” said Celestia. Twilight couldn't hide her blushing face, “It was my honor, Princess”. Without warning, Luna quickly stands up. Alarmed, Celestia asks what is wrong. “SOMETHING IS FALLING FROM THE SKY!!” screamed Luna while pointing to the mysterious object.
   	 In the sky, something was indeed falling, but slower than a shooting star. Like lightning, the three start racing towards the falling object to get a better look. Suddenly, the object changes direction and is now falling towards them. As they try dodging the object, it slows down and gently lands on the ground.
   	 “You two, stay here. Luna, keep Twilight safe.” alerted Celestia. When she knew they were well hidden,  she starts walking towards the object, horn glowing with a protective spell in the ready. Luna pops her head from the bush where they were hiding behind, “What is it?” she asks. Wide mouthed, Celestia could only shake her head. When Twilight and Luna stood beside her, they fully understood her shock.
   	 In the grass, was a male pony. He was black with white stripes on his legs, head, and back with a two toned red mane and tail. In place of his cutie mark was an image of a campfire, only the flames was dark in color.
   	 Without stopping the three ponies picked up the new pony and carried him back to the castle. News spread fast in Ponyville about the new pony who appeared from the sky. At the Sugar Cube Corner, a group of ponies was talking about the new pony. 
  	  “OH, OH!! I know who he is!! He's an alien from space to eat the trees!!” said PinkyPie excitedly. Everyone just rolled their eyes. “If that's true, SugarCube. Then why does he look like us?” asked Applejack. “Then explain his weird cutie mark.” explained Rarity, who shivered at the thought of the new pony's cutie mark. “What are you talking about, Rarity?” asked Rainbow Dash, “I think it's cool! What do you think, FlutterShy?”
   	 FlutterShy seemed worried and didn't notice the attention was on her. Annoyed, Rainbow Dash screams “FLUTTERSHY!!” FlutterShy jumps from the noise. “I'm sorry” said FlutterShy with a blush, “I'm just so worried about him”
   	 “Why is that?” asked PinkyPie with a mouth full of cake. “Didn't you see his face?  He looked like he was scared and in pain”. Suddenly, everyone realizes that the new pony did looked like he was scared and in pain.
   	 “Don't you girls worry a thing” says Celestia walking through the door, “He is sleeping soundly now and you five should too. Luna is keeping watch over him during the night”
   	 In Luna's sleeping quarters, Luna was laying on her side with the new pony in front of her. He was twitching slightly and muttering as if he was having a bad dream. To try and comfort him, Luna tried reading his thoughts. She thought his dream would be small scares but instead, what she saw was even frightening then she could imagine.
   	 Luna saw the Pony being picked on and teased. Next she saw him being shoved into walls and streams. Then, she saw the other ponies chase him into a strange building and seconds later the windows of the tower started to light up and screams were then heard. Suddenly, a comet shaped object shoots from the roof and straight into the air, never seen again.
   	 When Luna came out of the trance. The male pony was calm and sleeping soundly. “You poor thing.” said Luna sadly, “No wonder thou were scared. thou didn't know what was happening. At least I now know thy name. Welcome to Ponyville, Black Blaze”
   	 In the morning, Luna wakes up to Celestia nudging her head. “Wake up, Luna. Time to get this pony washed. How was he during the night?”. As Luna explain the events, Celestia's face went from happy to sad.
   	 “Oh my!” said Celestia in shock after Luna finished. “At least I learned his true name” explained Luna. Celestia looked up shocked, “Really? What is it?”
   	 “His name is Black Blaze.” As if he knew he was being talked to, he raises his head slowly. Seeing this, Celestia and Luna goes to his side to keep him steady. “Hold on there, Black Blaze. Not so fast.”
   	 As the Celestia made contact with Black Blaze to keep him steady, Black Blaze suddenly jumps up and stumbles backwards. “wh..wh..who's th..there?” stummers Black Blaze. “Its ok, thy be with friends.” explains Luna.
    But Black Blaze didn't even notice what she said. “Can you hear me?” asked Celestia rubbing the back of Black Blaze, “PLEASE DON'T HURT ME!!” screamed Black Blaze, hiding under his arms.
   	 “Sister, I think thou can't hear us.” explained Luna. “I think thou can't even see us.” Slowly, Celestia picks up a brush and starts brushing Black Blaze's mane. At first, he tried to get away. But when he realized what was going on, he calmed down. “Wh..who are you?” asked Black Blaze. Placing her throat on the back of his neck, she slowly says “Your with friends now. We won't hurt you. Your safe.” 
   	 As if he could understand what she said, Black Blaze lowers his head and falls into a deep sleep. After a few minutes, Luna walks into her room with a tray of food with Celestia using her magic to carry a tub of water right behind her. Luna lays down besides Black Blaze and placed her neck on Black blaze like Celestia did, “Wake up, Blazzy. We got some food for you.”
    	Celestia looked at Luna, “Blazzy?” Luna couldn't stop herself from blushing, “thou needed a cuter name” Black Blaze started to wake. Not remembering where he was, he started to panic. When Luna started to brush his mane a few times, he calmed down. “Have something to eat, Blazzy. Then we'll wash you up.” Using her magic, Celestia brought him a muffin. Black Blaze was scared of what it was at first but after taking a nibble. The muffin was gone in a flash.
   	 After eating, the two princesses began washing him. Black Blaze was so calm while being washed, he started to hum a song not known to the sisters. “What is that song thou is humming?” asked Luna. Celestia shrugged and they continued to wash Black Blaze as he hummed. While drying him, Black Blaze fell asleep and Luna decided to take him to her quarters to sleep in her bed. She placed him gently down and sat down beside him to keep him company. After a few minutes, Luna ended up falling asleep herself.
    	Luna wakes up to a sound and looks around. She realizes she's in her sleeping quarters and is now the middle of the night. Suddenly she realizes that Black Blaze isn't there. She runs to the window and sees Black Blaze trying to walk through the grounds but bumping into things. Using her wings she glides to the ground and runs to his side, “What are thou doing out here?”
    	“WHO SAID THAT!!” screamed Black Blaze facing toward Luna and jumping away. “My name is Luna. I was the one helping my sister brush thou mane.”
    	“Lu....na?” asked Black Blaze, slightly remembering who it was. Suddenly he starts to fall but Luna quickly catches him. “Don't worry, I'm here. I won't leave thou's side. Guards!! I need thy help over here!!” Suddenly two guards came running through the grounds door. “What's the trouble, Luna? What is he doing out here?” asked one of the guards. “Don't worry about that. Right now, I need thy's help getting him back inside.”
   	 Helping Black Blaze onto the back of a guard, the three start to go back inside with Luna supporting Black Blaze's head. As they get closer to Luna's room, Celestia comes running towards them. “What happened? Is everything alright?”
    	“Don't worry. He's fine. Somehow thy made his way outside. On a brighter note, I think thy gained his hearing back” Explained Luna. Celestia smiled slightly and followed the three into Luna's room.
    	Morning came quickly and Luna woke up with a large shiver. Remembering the events from last night, Luna quickly looks towards Black Blaze and sees him sleeping soundly in the same spot they placed him. Quietly walking through the door, Celestia walks in with a tray of food for them. “Morning, Luna. Anything else happen?”
   	 “Nope. Thy was asleep the whole night.” explained Luna with a mouthful of toast. “That's good to hear,” says Celestia, while waking Black Blaze. “Wake up, Blazzy. I have some food for you.”
   	 Black Blaze raises his head slowly with a cute yawn, “Th...th..thanks.” He then looks around even though he still can't see, "C...c..can you tell me wh..where I am?” While the three ate, Luna and Celestia explains the events of when they found him. “So I'm guessing you can hear us?” asked Luna.
  	  “I c...can hear you b....but somehow I still c...can't see.” explained Black Blaze while rubbing his eye. “Don't worry, I'm sure it will get better in due time. Right now, there are other ponies who are waiting to meet you.” explained Celestia happily. They finished with breakfast and headed out the door towards Ponyville.
  	  At the Sugar Cube Corner, everyone was setting up to welcome Black Blaze. “Pinky! We need more streamers!” yelled Rainbow Dash from the ceiling. “Okey Dokey Lokey!” said Pinky Pie happily, who pulled out her party cannon. She fires the cannon, sending streamers everywhere. “Thanks, Pinky. But I think that's a little over board.” said Rainbow Dash, pulling streamers from her tail. “Heads up, everypony.” explains Applejack, “Here they come”
  	  Celestia, Luna, and Black Blaze walk through the doors of the bakery and everyone jumps and yells “Welcome to Ponyville”
  	  From the sudden loud noise, Black Blaze jumps and tries to hide but bumps into Celestia. “He sure is a jumper” said Pinky Pie through fits of laughter. “Sorry, every pony. I forgot to tell you that he can't see at the moment. He can only hear you.” explains Celestia while comforting Black Blaze.
  	  FlutterShy walks up to Black Blaze and tries to help comfort him. “Don't worry. My name is FlutterShy. There's nothing to be afraid of.” With a wing, she helps Black Blaze to his feet. “N...n..nice to m...meet everyone.”
  	  Every pony had a great time at the party and Black Blaze started to trust them more. “Hope thou had a great time, Blazzy” said Luna. “I d...d..did, th..thank you for tak..” before Black Blaze could finish, he suddenly collapses.
    	“OH NO! Black Blaze, can you hear me?” yelled Celestia, “Luna, help me get him on my back.” Luna and Celestia quickly flies Black Blaze back to the castle. Waiting in Luna's room, was they're doctor. After checking Black Blaze, he covered him with a blanket and asked to talk to Celestia alone. “He is really worn out. What exactly did he do this morning to worn him out that much?” asked the doctor. “All he did was went to a gathering to meet some friends. He didn't do much due to the fact he can't see.” explained Celestia. 
   	 “Well, I doubled checked but he's worn out as if he was casting spells all day.” before the doctor left he told Celestia to be careful with Black Blaze and to call him if anything gets worse. As Celestia came back into the room, Luna could only stare at her sister pleading for an answer with a worried look. “He said that Blazzy was worn out from unforeseen reasons. He needs to stay in bed till morning.” Luna was puzzled, "What does thou mean?"
   	 "The doctor said he's worn out as if he was casting spells all day" explained Celestia. "How can that be when he's not a unicorn?"asked Luna, even more puzzled. Celestia could only shake her head, for she too didn't know the answer.
    Celestia decided to sleep with Luna and Black Blaze for the night. Throughout the night, Black Blaze kept twitching and muttering in his sleep again. Celestia gently placed her head on Black Blaze. “Thank....you....sister” said Black Blaze in his sleep. Celestia couldn't help but blush a bit from being called his sister and wrapped a wing around him to draw him closer.
  	  Morning came and Celestia woke to Black Blaze moving under her wing. “Morning, Blazzy. How are you?” asked Celestia with a yawn. “I..I can s...see you a bit t...today.” explains Black Blaze.
   	 “That's great news. How much can you see?” asked Luna, sitting up in her bed. “Everything is still b....blurry a bit but I c..can make out shapes and s..such.” says Black Blaze with a yawn. “That's always a good thing. That means your eyesight is getting better.” said Celestia, trying to encourage Black Blaze.
  	  Luna took Black Blaze to the washroom to give him a bath. As they were washing, Rainbow Dash crashes into the room. Scared from the commotion, Black Blaze ducks under a towel. “Watch what thou is doing, Rainbow Dash. Thou scared, Blazzy.” said Luna while covering Black Blaze with her wing. “Hehe, sorry about that.” apologized Rainbow Dash, “Just wanted to say morning to B.B......morning, Black Blaze.” 
    Black Blaze slowly popped his head from under the towel, “m..morning...”. Rainbow Dash landed softly next to Black Blaze and placed her head on top of his as a way to say sorry. “Hows your eyes anyway?”
    Luna picked up the wash cloth she was using and started washing Black Blaze's neck with it, “Thy says thy can make out shapes this morning.” Luna placed the cloth on the side of the sink and started rinsing Black Blaze off, splashing Rainbow Dash a bit.
    “OH MY GOD THAT'S COLD WATER!! What are you trying to do to him, freeze him?” Luna finished rinsing Black Blaze and turned off the water, “Sorry about that. Blazzy was overheating this morning so I was trying to cool him off a bit.” Black Blaze then stood up and was hit with a huge shiver, sending him stumbling back down again. Out of nowhere, a towel appears over Black Blaze and started drying him off. “Now that's what I call a clean Pony.” says Celestia, walking into the room, “Oh...hello Rainbow Dash. How are you this fine morning?”
    “Morning, Princess Celestia. Just stopping by to say hi to B.B.” Celestia then looked at Black Blaze, then to Luna who looked like she could use a rest. “Rainbow Dash, could I ask for a favor?” Rainbow Dash then jolted to attention, “Anything you need, Princess.”
    “I was wandering if you could take Black Blaze into town and meet up with everypony” Black Blaze's ears perked up from hearing he may be with the ponies he met during the welcome party. “It would be my honor to. Come on, B.B., lets have some fun.” Using her wing as a guide, Rainbow Dash lead Black Blaze to town.
    Back in town, everyone was enjoying the fine morning sun. AppleJack, Fluttershy, and Twilight was busy collecting apples to be made into apple cider. "Still can't believe that darn Rarity wouldn't help us pick apples." complained AppleJack. Twilight then dumped the load of apples she had. "She said she needed to finish the project she was working on." said twilight, "She said this may put her on the map of fashion."
    "She says that about EVERY project she does." said AppleJack while chomping on an apple to try and lower her anger. “And besides” said Fluttershy, “You know how she is and getting muddy.” When they went back outside to get more apples, they saw Rainbow Dash with another pony heading there way. “Hey, sugarcube. Who yah got under your wing?” asked AppleJack. Rainbow Dash then moved her wing to show them who she was with.
    Suddenly, Fluttershy and Twilight ran to them. “Hey, Black Blaze. How are you today?” asked Twilight. Fluttershy then gave Black Black a hug, “Yes, how are you. Hope your not hurt still.” Black Blaze shook his head, “ I'm n..not hurt.” 
    “That's a relief to know that. Would you like to try some Apple Cider? It's fresh and homemade.” asked Applejack, who had a mug full of cider on her head. Applejack placed the mug in front of Black Blaze with Twilight using her magic to carry more mugs for the other ponies. Black Blaze took a sip of cider and a small smile appeared on his face. “Wow, Black Blaze. Didn't know you looked cuter when you smile.” explained Twilight. Black Blaze couldn't stop himself from blushing and everyone started to laugh, which made Black Blaze smile again.
    Meanwhile at the castle, Princess Celestia was having a meeting with her advisers. “What are you trying to say?” asked Celestia with a concerned voice. “What we're trying to tell you is that not only is Black Blaze is Fluttershy's missing brother BUT he may also be the pony foretold from the scroll. The one with the ability to control magic without a horn.” explained the adviser. Celestia grew worried "You may call it by the actual term, black magic". She then walks over to the window and saw Fluttershy, Black Blaze, and the others laughing with each other. With a deep sigh, Celestia turned around, “Don't tell anyone else what you just told me.” With a nod, her advisers left.
    Back at Applejack's farm, Fluttershy was showing Black Blaze what they were doing. “To make the Cider, we try to pick the reddest of apples.” explained Fluttershy. Black Blaze was on the ground carrying the baskets as Fluttershy picked the apples. “Ok everypony! Time to clean up!" Yelled Applejack. While Black Blaze and Fluttershy walked back, Black Blaze suddenly collapses. “BLACK BLAZE! Oh my gosh, are you ok?” asked Fluttershy who ran over to Black Blaze. 
    As soon as Fluttershy touched Black Blaze to wake him up, images started flying past in her mind. What she saw terrified her. Suddenly she sees her and her brother playing with each other. Then she say him leaving with the royal guards when he signed up. Next she saw their parents receiving the letter saying that her brother disappearing while trying to stop Nightmare Moon. Last, she sees a falling comet landing on the ground and three ponies running to it. 
    Suddenly, Fluttershy could hear voices and someone shaking her. “......re you ok? FLUTTERSHY! WAKE UP!!” screamed Rainbow Dash. Fluttershy jumps up screaming, “Black Blaze! Where is he?” Suddenly she feels a hoof on her shoulder. Behind her was Luna, “Thou shall not worry, Fluttershy. Applejack and Twilight are carrying him back to Twilight's tree as we speak.”
    The three ponies then headed towards the tree that makes up Twilight's house. When they arrive to Twilight's house, Black Blaze was in bed sleeping. Fluttershy couldn't stop herself from running over to the side of his bed, “how is he?”
    “Don't worry, Sugarcube. He's going to be ok. He was actually saying your name a few moments ago.” said Applejack, trying to keep Fluttershy calm. With a sigh of relief, Fluttershy placed her head on the side of the bed and drifted to sleep. When she woke up, she felt someone shaking her. When she looked up, she saw it was Black Blaze shaking her. “Umm...are you Fluttershy?”
    Fluttershy was confused, “Yes I am. Why do you ask? Do you not remember me?” Black Blaze shook his head, “I remem...member your voice. It's j...just I'm no..now able to se..see fully.” It took a second for Fluttershy to realize what he said. When she did, she couldn't stop from screaming in delight. Suddenly, everyone ran through the door. “Whats going on in here?” asked Twilight. “Guess who can see fully???” asked Fluttershy through fits of laughter. “WHO? WHO? WHO?” asked Pinky Pie who kept jumping up and down. Fluttershy couldn't stop laughing, so she just pointed to Black Black. Rainbow Dash flew straight to Black Blaze, “Is this true??”
    Black Blaze looked straight into Rainbow Dash's eyes and said, “You have rainbow co..colored hair and the lightning b..bolt on your cutie mark is al..also rainbow colored.” Rainbow Dash couldn't speak, her mouth could only hang there.
    “OH MY!! He can see. This is so wonderful!” said Rarity, who finally stop designing to see Black Blaze. “Took you long enough to get here.” exclaimed Applejack. Black Blaze had his shy expression again, and couldn't say a word.
    “It's so nice to finally get to meet you, darling.  My name is Rarity.” explained Rarity. Twilight was slightly confused, “Why do I get the feeling you knew about him before everyone else?” Everyone had the same feeling. “Princess Celestia contacted me and explained the situation. She asked me to make something for Black Blaze. Something as a gift of welcome. So I made this handsome vest for him.” Out from behind her, was a green vest with three pockets on one side. Fluttershy helped Black Blaze out of bed so he can try it on. With a flash, Rarity had the vest appear on Black Blaze.
    Before anyone could say how good he looked, Spike came running through the door, “TWILIGHT!! The princess needs to see all six of you. Including Black Blaze.” Every pony then ran out the door towards the castle, with Fluttershy and Black Blaze bringing up the rear.
    At the castle, the guards were running around the castle making sure everything was set up. Princess Celestia was talking to a group of guards. When she saw them coming towards her, she sent the guards on their way and greeted them. “What's going on Princess? Whats the emergency?” asked Twilight. Celestia took a deep breath, “Only the worst thing happened. King Sombra has returned once again.” Everypony gasped at the news. “Sombra is a bad person who only wants to take over the world.” whispered Fluttershy  to Black Blaze. 
    “I'm guessing you called us here to take care of it?” asked Rainbow Dash. Celestia nodded, “Yes and I wanted you to leave Black Blaze he..” Suddenly there was a burst of laughter and Celestia had a shocked look on her face. Everypony turned around to see what she was looking at. Behind them was Black Blaze but his eyes were glowing white. “HAHAHAAA!!! Finally I have returned once again!” said Black Blaze in a sinister voice. “Sombra, what do you want?! Leave Black Blaze alone!” screamed Twilight. 
    “Black Blaze? So that's what this ponies name is. I think I will keep him as a pet!” Before any pony could react, Black Blaze disappeared with a flash. “OH NO! OH NO! OH NO!” said Fluttershy in a panicked voice.
    “Fluttershy! We will save him. He will be fine.” said Twilight. “She's right, Sugarcube. Sombra won't hurt him. As scary as it sounds, Black Blaze is now that thing's only bargaining chip.” Explained AppleJack in a calm voice.
    “Unfortunately, I have no idea where they could be. But they might be in the Everfree forest.” explained Celestia. Rainbow Dash was confused, “What in the hay would they be in there?” Behind them Luna cleared her throat, "I can explain that. When thou 6 had originally defeated Sombra, we had his crown moved into the forest. It appears he used some magic on it but we are not certain what kind of magic." 
    “That is why I called you 6 here. To use the Elements of Harmony once again.” said Celestia. “That's why you wanted B.B. to be left here.” exclaimed Rarity, “That way, he will be out of harm's way.” Celestia shook her head, “But like what we have just seen, it did not matter. You 6 better get going and good luck.”
    With that, the gang darted out of the castle to their homes to gather their supplies needed to save Black Blaze and to defeat whatever is controlling him.
    Applejack packed her bag with apples, her lasso, and camping things. Rainbow Dash packed her bags with some music, sunglasses, and combat boots. Rarity, surprisingly, packed a couple first aid kits, hiking boots, and a simple hat. While she was double checking everything, Opal gave her a short meow. “What?” asked Rarity, “Black Blaze is in trouble and I shouldn't waste time with fashion.”
    Pinky Pie was packing her bag with candy, energy drinks, and other yummy foods. Suddenly Mr. and Mrs. Cake came into her room with a box of  brown bags. “We know it might be a long trip, so we figured you might need these lunches.” Pinky looked at them with a grin and packed as many as possible. Twilight and Spike was both busy gathering survival books and maps. Twilight also made sure to pack the necklaces and her crown in a safe box that made up the Elements of Harmony. Fluttershy was packing things to help fight her fears. One thing she was packing was a picture of her friends and Black Blaze during the welcome party Pinky threw for Black Blaze.
    As they were gathering they're supplies, possessed Black Blaze was busy making trouble in the center of town. Outside of town hall in the dirt, he drew a weird diagram of circles and symbols. When he was done, he stomped in the center of his drawing and it glowed brightly before disappearing. He was still in the middle of town square when the gang arrived. “Black Blaze!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!” Screamed Rainbow Dash. Black Blaze looked at them, “Hope you enjoy the show.” Everypony was confused. “What Sho...” Before Twilight could finish her question, town hall exploded in a huge fireball.
    Everypony started to run around in circles. Black Blaze walked to the now dazed gang, “Before long, this whole town will be up in flames. Will you stop me in time?” And with a grin, Black Blaze disappeared in a ball of flame. By the time they got up again, town hall was in ruins and the town fire department was already putting out the remaining flames.
    “Is every pony alright?” asked twilight, “We need to visit Zecora and see if she has some flame protection potions” Rainbow Dash was confused, “WAIT A MINUTE!! A potion?? I thought you could use magic, Egg Head?”
    Twilight took a deep breath to fight back her anger from being called an egg head, “Unfortunately, I would if I could but that kind of spell takes practice to pull off. Only one pony was able to cast that kind of spell and that was Luna. But she's busy with other tasks.”
    As everypony was getting ready to go, FlutterShy sees a faint burn mark on the ground. “Twi..Twilight?  I Think you should see this.” Twilight walks to where Fluttershy was pointing. On the ground is half a burn mark of the diagram Black Blaze had drawn. Twilight could only gasp in fright, “Al..Al..Alchemy!? This not good, not good at all.” Pinkie Pie bounds over to get Twilight to calm down, “Whats alchemeteya?” Twilight shook her head, “Alchemy, another type of magic. More commonly known as black magic.” 
    “I don't get it, I thought only unicorns can use magic?” asked  Rarity. “It is true only unicorns can use magic, BUT this is no ordinary magic. Alchemy uses these diagrams to conjure up their magic. You don't need magic skills to be an alchemist, just the knowledge of drawing the right diagram.” Suddenly Rainbow Dash jumps in the middle of the group, “WE'RE WASTING TIME TALKING!! We need to get going before B.B. uses that Voodoo again!” Pinkie pie was confused, “He do voodoo?” Rainbow Dash just rolled her eyes, “Lets just go.”
    As they ran to the edge of the Everfree forest, they noticed town hall wasn't the only thing that was destroyed. They past the local flower shop with all the roses wilting. When they turned the next corner, they saw an ugly site. The Sugar Cube Corner.....was melted. Pinky Pie slowly walked to the puddle that was once her home and talent. “Pinky...it will be alright. We can fix it.” Pinky Pie slowly sank to her knees, “Before, we were all having fun with Blazzy. But with Sombra making him do bad things and melting my home....I WILL DESTROY SOMBRA AND MAKE HIM PAY!!!” Pinky's eyes light up in anger.
    When they were able to finally calm Pinky, they entered the forest. Walking through the forest, they noticed something strange. “Is it me, or do you NOT hear any sounds?” asked Rainbow Dash. Rarity agreed, “Your absolutely right, Rainbow. Usually, this place would give me the creeps but now I feel calm.”
    As they continue towards Zecora's hut, they see it in ruins. As they ran towards it, they see Zecora outside coughing. “Zecora! What happened here?” Asked Twilight. “I don't know who to blame. But his mane was red as flame.” Explained Zecora. Pinkie Pie started to think, “red as flame..red as flame... I got nothing”
    “I think she was talking about Black Blaze.” explained Fluttershy. Zecora gave all 6 ponies a confused look. As they were explaining, Zecora was gathering the potions they needed to protect them from fire. “To best protect from his flaming arts. You must have love for him in your hearts.” said Zecora as she gave each of them a bottle of potion. As they were gathering their things to get going, Fluttershy suddenly faints.
    “Fluttershy? Fluttershy!” screamed Applejack, “Zecora, I think we need to spend the night here if you don't mind.” Zecora shook her head, “My pony friends you are welcome. To stay the night in the cave I call home.” Throughout the night Fluttershy couldn't stop moving around in her sleep. What she saw was dreadful, the guards taking her brother away cause of a strange power he possessed. The letter saying that he disappeared during the night when Nightmare moon attacked. Finally seeing an object shooting towards the moon.
    When Fluttershy finally woke up, Rarity was next to her, keeping her warm. “Fluttershy! Darling! Are you feeling alright?” asked Rarity, helping Fluttershy up. Fluttershy could only shake her head, “I need to tell everyone something. It's about Black Blaze.” As she told the others about the dream and the fact that Black Blaze was her brother took them by surprise. “They took Black Blaze away because of his talent?” asked Twilight.
    “Yes” Said Fluttershy slightly depressed, “He knew some knowledge of alchemy but the guards thought he would use this knowledge to take over Ponyville.” As they were talking, possessed Black Blaze was making mayhem around Ponyville. “Hehehe!! Where could my little friends have gone off too. I made sure they're friend Zecora was...dealt with.” said Black Blaze as the Ponyville's school blew up just like town hall.
    When they left the cave, the gang notices there's a note pinned to Zecora's house. The note read, “My Faithful subjects, due to the recent incidents. Ponyville is now in a state of emergency. Any pony willing to volunteer to help out with the emergency, report to the castle for briefing.”
    All 6 ponies looked at each other, then suddenly started running BACK towards Ponyville. “SO......how exactly do we stop B.B. and his weird powers?” asked Applejack. “Sombra is controlling him somehow. If I can get into Black Blaze's mind, maybe I can find out how he's controlling him.”
    Back at the castle, the princesses was discussing how to break the news. “Sister, thou must calm thou self. Thou is pacing too much.” said princess Luna watching her sister pace. Princess Celestia, still pacing, didn't realize Luna was talking to her. “I'm sorry, sister. I don't know how to tell every pony Sombra never completely left.”
    Suddenly, the gang runs into the hall. “Everypony. Thank you for showing up on short notice. I have bad news. Som....” Suddenly Luna jumps up and interrupts her, “Sorry, sister, but they need to know. Sombra hasn't been completely vanquished.” Everypony screamed in fear. “What do you mean 'not completely vanquished'?”
    Princess Celestia cleared her throat, “As I was about to say, when you used the Elements of Harmony. Sombra detached part of his spirit before he disintegrated.” 
“WAIT A SECOND!!” screamed Rainbow Dash, “How does this have to do with Black Blaze?”
    “Because Black Blaze is now being controlled by this spirit. The only way to get the spirit out of Black Blaze is The Elements of Harmony but there is a problem. We need to enter Black Blazes mind.”
    “So What's the problem?” asked Pinkie Pie. “Pinkie pie...” sighed Rarity, “You can't just jump into the mind of somepony...........right?”  Twilight was in deep thought, "Princess, I need to go in to the castle library."
    "Certainly, my faithful student, but what are you looking for?" asked Princess Celestia. "Anything that's about alchemy." 
    And with that, the gang ran towards the library in search of a book. They looked high and low but no one could find it. Twilight was started to get frustrated, "Where the heck could this book be."
    "Twilight Sparkle, thou must calm thyself. being angry doesn't self thou'ists problems." exclaimed Luna, in a nearby isle. Twilight just sighed, “I Know, Princess. But I have this nagging feeling that solving this problem is way too easy.”
    “What do you mean by that, Twi?” asked Applejack right beside her. “I mean there might be more to what Sombra is planning BESIDES possessing him.”
    The group searched high and low for anything containing any info about entering the minds of other ponies. They were about to give up, when Rarity came up with an idea, "Could it be possible to enter his dreams?"
    Twilight Sparkle thought for a moment, "In theory yes, but Black Blaze would need to be asleep for us to enter his mind".
    "I might have an idea to help with that." exclaimed Applejack, looking through the book shelf.
    After a few minutes of preparing they were ready to try Applejack's plan. "So tell me how keeping a jar of jam from B.B. is supposed to stop him." complained Rainbow Dash, even though she was flying, not paying attention. "It's not the whole plan. We need this here jam to help the final step." explained Applejack. Twilight was confused, "What kind of jam are we using any way?"
    Applejack seemed proud to show them the jar of jam, "A new recipe. doesn't even have a name yet." She opens her bag to pull out the jar when she starts to panic. "IT'S NOT HERE!" screamed Applejack. "Looking for this?"
     Everypony turned to see who it was. standing behind them was Black Blaze, with the jar of jam next to him. "Why did you take that? Give it back!", protested Pinkie Pie. "What? This thing here? I figured it looked like my next snack." mocked Black Blaze, tossing the jar in the air.
    "Black Blaze, whatever you do, don't eat that jam. Who knows what will happen." said Twilight. But with a flick of a hoof, he had the jar open and was now busy drinking the jam.
    "That tasted....*burp*...delicious. but I think it's time for a na..." Before Black Blaze could finish talking, he fell into a deep sleep.
    "HA! I knew that would work." said Applejack, through her victory dance. "Putting sleeping potion into regular blueberry and raspberry jam. Wow." Said Rainbow Dash, spoiling the surprise.
    "OK!! Everyone into positions. Luna, you remember that spell?" asked Twilight Sparkle. Luna only nodded her head, since she had the spell all set and ready to go. The gang then sat down in a circle around Black Blaze. Luna then released the spell, drifting the ponies into a sleep.
    When Luna knew they were asleep, she used another spell to connect their dreams to Black Blaze. Twilight finds herself walking through mist. As the mist clears, she finds herself in a clearing in the Everfree Forest. In the center, is a small Black Blaze. As Twilight walks closer, she notices something odd. Filly Black Blaze has two shadows. Suddenly, Black Blaze jumps up, "who are you? What do you want from me?" screamed Black Blaze.
    Twilight stops in her tracks, "Don't worry." she says calmly, "I'm a friend. Something happened to you." Blackness suddenly engulfs Twilight and all she can hear is laughing. "Twilight, Twilight, Twilight. You think just because your in his dream, you can stop me?" Twilight spins around and is face to face with Sombra himself. "What do you want from Black Blaze, Sombra?" screamed Twilight.
    "Me?" asked Sombra, acting innocent, "I'm just trying to make things right. wittle Black Blaze was teased and made fun off. just. like. me"
    "But one thing you forgot to remember. When Black Blaze dropped out of the sky. the first thing he saw was people caring for him and he knew they wouldn't hurt him." explained Twilight. While kneeling to Black Blaze, she charges a memory spell. "Black Blaze, remember who I am. remember your friends." she casts the spell and memories that Black Blaze forgot, flashed before his eyes. 
    Falling from the sky, Clestia, Luna and Twilight finding him, Luna sleeping with him, Luna and Celestia being the first ponies that he saw. Making friends at the Sugar Cuba Corner. Black Blaze shudders as he remembers what he had done to Ponyville. Blowing up town hall and melting Sugar Cube Corner. As he remembers his friends, Black Blaze grows older, turning from a filly to a stallion. "Thank you, Twilight for helping me. And I'm sorry for what I've done." apologized Black Blaze.
    Black Blaze then turns toward Sombra, "Not only did i remember my friends, Sombra. I also learned your weakness." He then draws a diagram and stomps on it.
    Sombra just laughs, "You think you can stop me with that silly magic?" Suddenly light bursts out of Sombra's hoof. "I don't just use Black Magic. I also know white magic." Suddenly Sombra disappears in a flash. Twilight feels herself waking up and gives Black Blaze a quick hug. As she wakes up, Everyone else is waking up. Next to them, is the grown up Black Blaze.
    "Black...Blaze?" stummers FlutterShy. Black Blaze smiles, "it's me, sister. I'm back." FlutterShy couldn't speak. All she could do was give a tearful smile before tackling Black Blaze in a long awaited hug.
    "ahhhhh, that's soooo cute. I think I'm going to puke." Every turned around in a flash, expecting to see Sombra. But to every pony's shock, all they saw was Twilight hunched over.
    "Twilight, did you say that?", asked AppleJack. Twilight then looked to to reveal glowing white eyes. "HEHE! You think you have won by getting me out of Black Blaze?" said Twilight in the same mocking, sinister voice. 
    "I should have known." said Black Blaze angrily. Before any pony can react, the now discorded Twilight disappeared in a flash. "ok, SugarCube." said AppleJack toward Black Blaze, "Sombra had left your mind last. Any idea of what he's planning or something?"
    Black Blaze didn't say anything. Either too angry or too upset. FlutterShy walked up to her brother to get his attention. When FlutterShy tried making eye contact, she found out what was wrong. "ummm, I think he fell asleep. Every pony just shook their heads and chuckled a bit.
    "I'm not surprised. I would be too if Sombra had me under his control." said RainbowDash. With everyone's help, they managed to get Black Blaze onto the backs of AppleJack and Rainbow Dash. "wow." wheezed Rarity, "He's a lot heavier now that he grew bigger." 
    Together in a tight circle, they slowly made their way back to the castle to give Princess Celestia the confusing news. As they walk to the castle they pass the destruction that Black Blaze had done. the town's folk was busy already fixing houses or putting out fires. 
    When they saw the group carrying the sleeping Black Blaze, they grew angry and was ready to attack him when they noticed something. They noticed that he was a lot bigger. When they asked the girls about Black Blaze, but all they could say was"....under a spell..." or "...hypnotized..".
    When they reached the castle walls they heard guards running towards them. The girls thought they were going to arrest him but Celestia walking behind them, they knew they were there to take over carrying him. "come inside and rest." said Princess Celestia with open wings, "You must be tired and hungry. Eat and rest up first and then you may tell me the news." As they walked past the princess, Celestia noticed that somepony was missing. And with that, a single tear appeared.
    Luna wakes up with a jolt and remembers what had happened. She remembers putting the main six to sleep to enter Black Blaze's mind. Then remembers seeing a smoke-like object floating into Twilight. She tries to fall back to sleep but couldn't, not with Black Blaze on her mind. She was worried sick about him and wanted to see him.
    She walked to the doctors quarters where Black Blaze was and notices someone was already with him. FlutterShy had snuck into the Medical Ward where Black Blaze was sleeping to check on him  but ended up falling asleep herself in a bed next to him. Luna smiles and looks towards Black Blaze and falls backwards. 
    "Oops, sorry for scaring you." said Black Blaze, slowly rising in his bed. He had woken up a few minutes after FlutterShy had appeared and was thinking to himself when he heard Luna walking in. "THOU SHOULD HAVE WARNED....!!
"SSSHHHH......quiet." hushed Black Blaze and glances at FlutterShy and releases the magic he had used to cover her ears with.
    Luna looked embarressed, "sorry, but thou should have indeed warned us that thou was awake." said Luna walking to the side of the bed. When Black Blaze tried to reply, he was hit with a coughing fit that caused him to rub his throat. Luna realized his throat was hurting him, that's why he didn't say anything when she walked in.
    Using her magic, she fills a cup of water and hovered it for Black Blaze to drink from. "Thanks, my throat was killing me. I thought I wasn't going to be able to swallow again."
