When a batpony stowaway in a human's ship it'll be the start of spicy adventures

Josh Sinclair is an human merchant working for the Equestrian Society of Space Exploration. In command of a customized ship, he trades in the most valuable and precious commodities while trying to keep one step ahead from the dangerous changeling privateers, diamond dog marauders, and many other dangers from the unexplored space.

Sweet Velvet is a bat pony in search of a break in life. She had never left the planet before, but now there's nothing holding her back anymore, even is she will have to use all of her talents to convince the human that she is worth keeping around.

Sweet Velvet closed her heavy saddlebags, locking the doors of her house and stared at the last shimmering traces of sunset through the clouds. She would miss these small moments of beauty, where she was going there would be no sunsets or sunrises.

It had been a long, frustrating year and she was ready for a break from her regular life.

And it had nothing to do with that nasty breakup between her and Midnight Spell.

Truly. It didn’t.

The bat pony adjusted her dress one last time and made sure her bow was tight, there was nothing worse than having it come undone during flight. She checked the compact smart bracelet on her left hoof to make sure it was fully charged, there were dozens of unanswered texts from him. She glanced back when she heard the swift rumble of a flying chariot settling near the house.

He had arrived. Sweet Velvet turned away and throwing her saddlebags on her back, she jumped towards the cold, cloudy sky just as her ex-fiancé called out. Without looking back, she beat her wings faster.

“Sweet Velvet! Come back here!” The unicorn screamed.

“I can’t hear you,” she screamed back.

“You can’t do this!” He still screamed to the skies.

She gained speed just as the unicorn started screaming obscenities at her only to be drowned out by the rushing wind. For the first time in a long time, Sweet Velvet, felt the heady rush of adrenaline sweep through her, she was excited to what the future could bring.

She relaxed for a moment, falling into a comfortable rhythm of flight and allowed the energy of it to take over, losing herself into the mire of her thoughts and her racing heart.

She headed for the largest interstellar port in all of Equestria with no real goal in mind. Sweet Velvet had no plans for the future beyond getting away.

Equestria was no longer her home. She needed to get off its surface before it swallowed her whole.

The scenery sped by as she followed the bird trails. The old, rural world slowly vanished until high-rises and metal structures surrounded her. Space City opened up around her, the colossal towers of three space-elevators reaching for the skies, dwarfing the skyscrapers that surrounded them, a couple of cloud-cities moved lazily around the space-elevator, a constant traffic of pegasi, gryphons, and even a couple dragons moved in and out carrying packets and messages from all corners of Equestria.

Space City had once been a small outpost on the south of Appleloosa, barely more than a refuelling station for trains going south into Zebria, but the city’s location near the equator and just above a ley line made it a perfect choice for the launching site of the first rockets. The influx of ponies and money turned the small town into a thriving, highly advanced city, and then when the first space elevator was built and first contact was made it turned the city into a capital of commerce that rivalled even Canterlot.

Her acute night vision could discern huge spaceships against the night sky, bigger than she remembered. The battleships and freighters dwarfed even the biggest skyscrapers in Manehattan. A pony could spend her entire life inside one of those metallic behemoths, without ever again touching firm soil.

Sweet Velvet tugged her saddlebags tighter, breathing in the arid heat of the desert. Her lungs filled up with dry, hot air that was heavily charged with the spicy aroma of food coming from dozens of food carts offering exotic specialities from other planets, tinged with the acrid smell of rocket fuel.

There’s no turning back. Her jaw tensed, she wouldn’t go back. The main gate loomed before her, the most impressive stained glass display she had ever seen, depicting the first years of space travel and culminating with the first meeting between pony and alien beings, it glistened to the point that it hurt her eyes.

Welcome to Space City, it said. Abandon hope all ye who enter here, it meant. Did you know that your survival rate decreases by about 65% once you leave Equestria? It implied. Let’s explore!

A huge container was unloaded by a crew of humanoid androids in front of a small crowd of ponies. The ancient artefacts inside the container were a special delivery to Ponyville’s university and would certainly attract the attention of several scholars in the coming years, but right now the ponies where fascinated by the human overseeing the process.

Somepony murmured, “I have never seen one of them before. They are so tall!”

More containers were taken off and loaded into the trucks. Giant, carnivorous plants in steel cages. Glass tubes filled with strange liquids that kept changing colours into hues that spread beyond the visible spectrum and caused headaches in anyone that looked at it for too long.

A pony in a grey suit walked beside the large, imposing human. A mare trailed behind, writing notes. The human looked at the pony in suit, knowing that if there was any kind of universal language it was red tape.

The human always felt a bit uncomfortable around ponies, being 5’11” he was never seen as particularly tall amidst humans, but among ponies, he made for quite a towering figure.

His athletic build, hazel eyes, and sharp brown hair made him all the more imposing to the ponies around.

“Everything seems in order, but due to a change in regulations the insurance company will need you to register another crew member before they certify you are cleared for flight,” the pony in a suit said.

“I don’t need any help,” the human replied briskly. “I have a full crew of androids.”

“Ah, yes, but the new legislation classify androids as machinery, not crew. A ship like yours needs to have a minimum of two certified, registered crewmembers on board. If you don’t pick an assistant, we won’t be able to clear you for take-off. We have pre-selected a few candidates, some of the best students at the Canterlot’s Space Academy.”

“I don’t have time for that,” the human grunted.

“You need to have insurance or we will dissolve your contract.” The suit explained. “We can’t have a non-insured captain working for us.”

The human stifled a colorful curse under his breath. The Equestrian Space Exploration Society were his main patrons, but at the same time he didn’t wish to yield to some petty bureaucrat that had never even left the planet.

They walked past Sweet Velvet near the main entrance. She stared wide-eyed at the human and he glanced back at her.

The human was immediately caught by her red eyes and soft pink fur, the bat pony was wearing a light purple dress with matching socks, her purple and pink hair tied back with a big red bow. They locked eyes for barely a moment before the human and his group moved back towards the loading gates.

Josh Sinclair oversaw the cargo being taken off his ship very closely.

Most traders worked by volume, ferrying massive quantities of frozen water, hydrogen, or ores in circular routes throughout the colonized systems, but Josh catered to a more selective and distinct clientele.

His ship, the Errant Venture, was an Aphetor class light freighter/hauler and while it was an old model that had been built during the days of in-system trading, he had the ship almost entirely refitted. Its blocky hull was reinforced with nano-laminated armor; the four main engines were high tech ionic-crystal that could, at least in theory, propel the ship as fast as a racing skiff. The four maneuvering thrusters on the front were a personal addition, giving the ship unparalleled maneuverability and the capability to land in most terrestrial planets.

However, its greatest advantage was the almost complete automation, the ship had been originally designated to be operated by a crew of five, but with its state-of-the-art automated systems, Josh could comfortably operate it alone. The front cargo holder had been reconfigured to accommodate passengers, using smart materials and modular construction, the rooms could be easily reconfigured to accommodate for any of the known species or even double as cages and environmental domes when he needed to transport live cargo.

As for the crew’s accommodations, no expense had been spared. The passageways and cabins were spacious and comfortable, a rare feature in such ships where most personnel would normally be packed as tight as possible. The ship’s kitchen was equipped with a high-capacity food synthesizer that could reproduce thousands of recipes.

His own accommodations were nothing short of luxurious; the captain’s room had been completely remodeled. Anyone walking in could be excused to forget they were inside of a ship.

The captain’s room was elegant, with wide-open spaces, done in dark wood and neutral colors. The furniture was sparse on the beautiful, scarred hardwood floors. An entire wall of windows opened into a small terrarium set into a late summer weather and a small lake of crystalline waters.

Josh had made a name for himself as someone capable of carrying the most valuable cargo with absolute security and speed. He had stumbled upon the Exploration Society a few years earlier, one of their ships was in the process of being plundered by changelings, but the human managed to not only rescue the crew, but also keep the cargo of priceless relics intact. Since then, he had grown into one of the most important captains working for the Society, being trusted with the transportation and safety of priceless artefacts and samples.

Josh Sinclair’s fingers tapped the worn keypad of his black datapad to check on the ship’s status. He wanted to get back to his ship before the Society’s bureaucrats forced him to take in some inexperienced cadet fresh out of the Academy. He had found this kind of people amidst all the known races, they spent years training in simulations and memorizing textbooks, but had no experience about how things really worked once you were out of the planet.

Like most people who own their own businesses, Josh worked long hours and was used to having everything done by himself, he didn’t want to have someone else on his ship that he couldn’t trust.

“We have another job for you, one that requires utmost urgency,” the bureaucrat pony said. “The situation in Tarku’s space has turned for the worse. They have detected changeling activity on the area and their defense platforms are in desperate need of new crystals,” the grey suit turned to him just as a large carriage arrived being pulled by six strong earth ponies.

“Tarku’s space is dangerous.”

The pony laughed nervously, maybe thinking Josh was trying to be funny. “We believe your particular talents makes you the best asset in assuring the success of this venture.”

Corporate people, at least in Sinclair’s experience, liked to be vague when they were asking for something. Josh was a businessman, and a firm believer in getting to the specifics as quickly as possible.

“I’m an entrepreneur,” he said gently. “If you want me to deliver a cargo of highly volatile energy crystals in the middle of an active war zone, then you will need to make it worth my time.”

The pony pretended to consider the offer for a moment, then giving up all pretense of amicability. “The company’s usual high-risk and high-importance fees apply, but above it I have been authorized to double your regular fee for this mission.”

Josh Sinclair did his best not to smile, the offer was more tempting than he cared to admit. “So, I’m free to go?”

“Sure, as soon as you have your new crew member onboard,” the pony replied without taking his eyes from his notepad.

He watched as the magical crystals were brought in by a team of unicorns, the container looked massive, the crystals would be kept floating in an anti-grav field inside the container to keep them stable during the transport, they could be incredibly volatile and more than one cargo vessel had been reduced to a cloud of detritus due to accidents.

“Everything looks fine here. I’ll make sure the crystals are checked out by my androids and boarded,” Josh turned toward the exit.

He passed back through the gates that led to the main warehouse to arrange for supplies. If he left without being fully restocked, he may escape with the crystals and without another creature in tow. Later he would deal with the consequences; if he managed to complete the job without some useless assistant, he could pressure the Society into allowing him to bend their rules once more.

Sweet Velvet stumbled out onto the airfield with ease, she had dodged the security and skipped over the simple fence that surrounded the landing zone, dozens of warning signs warned to the dangers of being caught in the back blast of the departing ships, but she darted towards the human’s ship. She glanced back at the human but he had already turned around and disappeared into the warehouse. Three androids moved throughout, preparing the large container with great care.

Sweet Velvet picked up her bag and walked up to the ramp of the relatively small ship, even to her inexperienced eyes she could see that the ship had been through a lot, but it still was well kept and cared for. I’m doing this.

One of the androids stopped what it was doing and approached her.

“Welcome to the Errant Venture, the captain is away at the moment, do you wish to leave a message?”

“I’m the new hire.”

The robot’s face flickered. “There are no new crew registered on the network. Please state your business.”

Sweet Velvet transferred her profile to the robot with a flick of her left hoof, the smart bracelet interfacing with the android’s network. “I was just hired. I might not be in your system yet.”

“Thank you, Sweet Velvet, but the Captain has not authorized the hiring of additional personnel.”

“But you are not cleared for take-off until you have a new tripulant on board, isn’t that right? And you seem to be preparing for take-off right now,” Velvet recited what she had been able to eavesdrop.

The android appeared to be pondering. Sweet Velvet had never dealt with an android as sophisticated as that before. She had seen many simple robots that worked on the farms, but those were simple machines, usually built for a single purpose. She had studied some of the basics and even got a certification to run the instruments and provide basic maintenance.

“I was hired by voice contract, moments ago,” she lied, paying close attention to the android’s reaction. “Why else would I have clearance to be on this spacecraft? Or why I have my luggage with me?”

The android’s expression didn’t change, but it seemed to be in deep thought, putting almost all of his processing power on the problem.

Sweet Velvet looked at the other androids that were still working with the container, seemingly oblivious to what was happening.

The android stood there unmoving for an excruciatingly long moment, then her saddlebags were yanked out of her back by one of the androids and it walked into the ship with her belongings. “Come this way, Sweet Velvet, refuelling has been completed. Take-off is scheduled in T minus five minutes.”

Velvet watched the cargo hold closing, enveloping her in darkness for a moment before the electric lights turned on one by one. Go on an adventure. Find treasures. Deal with aliens.

“Sweet Velvet, you must follow me. You must be in your assigned room during take-off,” the android hurriedly guided her inside the ship.

The ship’s massive generators hummed to life as the android with her bag led her through the metal and plastic tunnels of her new home.

After several turns through dark corridors, the robot stopped at a door. The inconspicuous door slid open to reveal a room. So small it only fit a single cot occupying a whole wall, a simple locker to the other side, a strange and large chair just next to the door, and a circular fixture on the low ceiling that cast a bright white, penetrating light across the room.

“These are your quarters, Sweet Velvet,” the android offered a small curtsy as he placed her bag to the side of the bed.

“You can call me Velvet,” she mumbled, stepping into her new home.

“Registered,” the door zipped closed behind her, the android gone.

A quick, gut-wrenching siren sounded throughout the ship, the lights blinking red as the rumble of the generator increased and a terrifying grow resonated the ship’s metallic structure. It took her a moment too long to understand what was happening.

She had read about it, even saw it in some movies, but nothing could have prepared her for the reality of take-off. She darted towards the strange chair, now recognizing it as an acceleration chair, it was designed to protect the crew during take-off and warpjumps. She struggled against the lock, it had been designed for human’s fingers, the siren seeming to increase in urgency as the growl of the engines resonated through the superstructure.

She cursed loudly when she finally managed to lock herself on the chair, but it was drowned by the sudden boom of the engines, the entire structure of the ship rumbling as it climbed with ever increasing speed. She felt herself being crushed by her own weight, as if smashed against the chair with a sledgehammer, her eyes wrenched closed.

She lost all notion of time as the thunderous roar of the engines seemed to envelop the entire world, to overwhelm even her thoughts. And then, it just ended so abruptly she believed she had gone deaf. Her entire body relaxed at once as weightlessness took over.

This also ended in a few moments, the lights blinked back to their piercing white light and there was the high-pitched sound of grav-generators starting before weight returned to almost normal.

Sweet Velvet unlocked herself with a breath of relief and checked her room with more calm, her smart bracelet detected a local network, but she didn’t have the password. She took a deep breath to calm herself and made a mental list of her necessities.

I need water. I need food. But first… I need to figure out the network password.

Josh Sinclair steered his ship out of Equestria’s commercial airways, using his ship’s greater manoeuvrability to stay amidst some of the giant cargo haulers, it would make it harder for the monitor satellites to tag him. Each of the monitor satellites was equipped with enough firepower to rival even a battleship, their Terawatt lasers could vaporize his ship in the blink of an eye, but Josh was confident that any order from the Exploration Society hadn’t had the time to be processed yet.

The computer warned of the stations tagging his ship, a threat overlay enveloped the distant defensive stations, a quick calculation showing their weaponry and defensive capabilities. That was normal procedure he told himself, trying to keep calm. If the satellites powered up he still could try some of the defensive canisters he had onboard and the nanolaminated armor should protect him from the worst of it, at least in theory.

But he was confident that the Society wouldn’t shoot him down like that just because of such a small breach of protocol, right?

He ignored the hails as the representatives from the Society tried to contact him. The Suit and his insipid blabbering came to mind, he didn’t have the patience for this discussion right now.

When he finally cleared out of Equestria’s orbit and the ship began accelerating towards the system’s fringes, Josh Sinclair released a long sigh of relief, took off his jacket and threw it to the floor, kicking off his boots until he was wearing nothing but his worn pants.

The chilly, recycled air filled his lungs, banishing the pungent rot of industry and the sweat of too many bodies. He closed his eyes and took in the faint smell of ozone and grease that seemed to endure even the most thorough filtration, for him it smelled like home.

But there was one particular scent he didn’t wish to banish completely from his mind. The sweet, fresh smell of lavender from the bat-pony on the main gate. The species was a rarity outside of their isolated communities, he smiled and felt his body tighten around the thought of the mare with her purple, lacy dress.

His mind wandered to her cute face and the piercing red eyes. He hardened as he pictured the bat pony winking at him and raising her tail.

Josh Sinclair looked down at his cock, almost perfect and so very much human, but augmented with high-end cybernetics that increased his length to 10 inches, the girth to 4.3 inches, and allowed him to cum up to ten times in a day with loads that would put a minotaur to shame. It was easy to burrow those needs when he was always on the move, never being on any planet for more than a few nights, but it took only a thought for the ever-insistent need to consume his mind.

As he watched the lights of Equestria dimming as the Errant Venture accelerated away from the planet, the ship’s computer calculating a route towards the desert-world of Tarkus, he tried to remember the last time he had a decent night of sex, dimming the lights of his bridge until he was covered in darkness.

The door swished open behind him. Josh Sinclair grunted and banished those lewd thoughts, he had business to take care off.

An android stepped into his bridge. Josh swivelled his seat and faced the robot with barely contained annoyance.

“Captain, the crystals are locked in place; we connected them to the ship’s power grid, all readings are in the green. We have received twenty seven transmissions from the Exploration Society since take-off,” The android stood straight awaiting for an answer.

Josh sighed deeply, leaned forward, and rested his elbows on his knees as he put his thoughts in order.

“We’re headed for Vilmore for supplies; make sure the crystals are properly secured before we warp. Ignore all messages from the Exploration Society, I’ll take care of them later,” Josh Sinclair turned back toward his console to deal with the ship’s course.

“Understood, sir. What should we do about the new crewmember?” the android asked.

“Crew Member?” he asked slowly.

“Sweet Velvet. Placed in passenger room one, awaiting registration.”

Josh Sinclair got to his feet and stormed out of the bridge in a heartbeat.

***

Sweet Velvet had searched the whole room, but couldn’t find anything on the locker or the drawers. Interestingly enough, the pieces of furniture looked to be made out of single, sturdy pieces of steel, with no signs of how they connected or even that they had been used before.

She huffed and eyed her room for the hundredth time. Her stomach growled from hunger.

Her ears perked up when she heard the sound of approaching steps, her first guess was that it was the android coming back, but they sounded too heavy, too fast… The human!

The door slid open without a sound, and the human stood on the other side, brisk rage crossed his features. Sweet Velvet gave him her best smile.

A sliver of fear coursed through her as he took a heavy step into her room. It was much too small for the both of them. He stared her down with a spark of rage.

Sweet Velvet swallowed and smiled. “Hey, boss.”

He continued to stare at her, the muscles of his arms twitching as if he was trying to restrain himself. She continued, “I need the network password.”

“Who the hell are you?!” he growled.

“I’m your new assistant, Sweet Velvet,” she introduced herself with a twirl.

His fist clenched at his side, but she could see a tinge of laughter creeping in by the absurdity of the whole situation. Sweet Velvet took a deep breath.

“I needed the job,” she said slowly. “I saw what you do...”

The rage on the human’s face lifted just enough to show a twinge of curiosity in his eyes.

“I’m just a glorified delivery boy.”

“You do so much more than that! I want to help…” Her eyes kept drifting down his body to take in his wide chest. Sweet Velvet wanted to look lower, take the entire human in, but she resisted her urges, trying to at least pretend to be professional.

“You don’t have any training, you don’t have experience! And for some god-forsaken reason you decided it was a good idea to smuggle yourself into my ship where you could have gotten seriously hurt,” he took a deep breath to calm himself and immediately cursed himself when he took in her sweet and alluring smell, he needed to keep his head clear. “I don’t have enough fuel to decelerate and take you back to Equestria for now, so stay out of the way and I’ll drop you on the next planet.”

“I can make myself really useful,” she gasped, throwing all caution away. “Captain.”

She was reaching for him before he could react, she raised herself on her hind hooves, the touch of her soft hooves on his shoulders flaring a might need inside him that had been denied for far too long. Her lips parted slightly, pressing against his, accepting his tongue. She sucked it into her mouth and heard his groan of pleasure. She pressed her body into his arms, her leathery wings flaring with lust.

The kiss awakened the desires that he had neglected for so long. He needed to touch her, his fingers were caressing her soft fur, burrowing beneath her purple, lacy panties, touching hot, wet flesh as he felt her hooves reaching for his hard cock, her body pressed against his.

Oh, that’s good!

The soft underside of her hoof raked over the head of his cock, sent a jolt of blazing pleasure. He lifted her into his arms and pressed her against the wall. His lips covered hers, a deep, hungry kiss, as she felt his hand pushing at the lacy pants she wore.

It was desperate, a wildfire of lust and desire that consumed both of them. Velvet could feel the pent-up fiery lust in the human, the smell of his arousal so strong and overwhelming, mixing with her own arousal, connecting them in wicked desire.

Her hips were jerked up. Strong fingers ran through the sensitive folds between her thighs, caressed and stroked with surprising skill until she was dripping wet. She surrendered to the fiery pleasure flooding her body, making her so slick and wet and hot.

“You shouldn’t have stowed away,” he growled behind her.

“I can be really useful…” She gasped the answer into his ear as she felt his fingers caressing her ass, teasing it. “Fuck me!”

Josh didn’t need any encouragement, he held her tighter and positioned the broad, hot crest of his cock pressed against her ass and she went crazy from the pleasure as he slid it inside. Her back arched at the stretching heat, a cry falling from her lips, part protest and all lust.

She felt her ass flex and ripple and draw him in. With each heated thrust, she became more sensitive, hungrier, needier. A scream ripped from her throat as he pushed inside her in three hard strokes. Every inch of his hard, thick cock stretching her ass, flooding her with more debauched pleasure than she could have imagined.

She had heard that humans were big before, but this was ridiculous, this was better than she could have dreamed. She could feel every inch of him inside of her, the girth stretching her with each stroke as the human’s strong arms held her against the wall.

Her thighs parted more, her wings flared open, and her lips were at his shoulder with sharp little kisses, heated and fierce. His powerful arms braced her as he began thrusting hard into her.

She was filled with him. Every heavy vein in his cock caressed her nerve endings; every throb of blood was driving her mad. And he was pounding her ass, pleasure reaching heights she had never experienced, stretching her. Her muscles wrapped around his erection tightened, and then her mind was consumed in a cataclysm of unfathomable bliss and warmth that had her screaming his name. She shuddered through her orgasm, jerking as he continued to thrust hard and fast in her ass, gaining speed, pushing into her as she felt pulses of heated seed flooding her.

She was screaming in pleasure. Another, harder orgasm ripped through her as he kept cumming inside of her. She was so full now, her body trembling with the aftershocks of their orgasm.

Sinclair lowered her to the bed, his breath hard and laboured as he removed himself from her, it had been so long since he had allowed himself to experience anything like that, to lose himself in pleasure and desire. He gave a last look to the sleeping bat-pony before going for a shower, knowing that this was a whirlwind of lustful madness that he wouldn’t be able to escape.

By the next morning, Velvet was walking through the corridors of the ship, looking for the showers when she turned the corner and ran right into Josh.

“Slept well?” He asked. “Come, we need to get you in the system.”

Sweet Velvet nodded and stayed on his heels. He led her down a short path until they faced a ladder that went up into a closed hatch.

Sinclair continued, “This level houses the living areas of the passengers and if you turn around and go back the way you entered, you’ll find the main cargo hold. There are two other, smaller cargo holds on the bottom, but they lack environmental controls, so you will need to suit up if you ever need to go there.”

“What’s up there?” she asked, motioning to the stairs with a hoof.

“The bridge and crew quarters.”

“So you have a crew?” She scooted to the side as he walked by.

“Androids,” he replied.

“And me,” Sweet Velvet added for good measure. She was met with a choked laugh.

He led her up through the hatch and past the crew rooms, two of them had been configured into recharging and repair stations for the androids, he motioned towards one of the unopened rooms.

“This will be your room for now, as soon as we have you on the system you can redecorate with the automated interface,” he opened the door to a room that seemed exactly equal to the other; even her saddlebags had been brought in by the androids. “The smart materials can change into any number of shapes and the ship’s synthesizer can produce almost any amenities you want.”

They moved past her room and into an empty lavatory station with multiple shower pods.

“That’s the crews’ bathroom, there’s a hot tub to the back and a small synthesizer that can make any number of products you may need.”

Josh Sinclair turned around, intent on showing the mare the rest of the ship, but Sweet Velvet began to undress herself, removing her dress, then slowly and deliberately removing her socks and then for last her panties with her tail raised.

Josh Sinclair stared at her, momentarily flustered.

"I need a bath," the mare said casually.

"But we need to get you on the system..."

Sweet Velvet smiled wickedly. "It can wait.”

"Besides, why don’t you help me?" Sweet Velvet's tone was sultry, Josh Sinclair felt as if some invisible force was pulling him towards her.

"Well, yes, I…" Josh Sinclair struggled to reply.

Josh Sinclair took out his shirt and pants in a quick movement.

"You are cold, Captain. Come for your bath."

Josh Sinclair didn’t reply with words, he walked in the shower pod with her, his hands caressing the soft fur, exploring her body and groping affectionately, discovering her sensitive spots.

Josh pressed her back against the tiled wall, pressing her petite body against his.

"You work too hard, let’s have some fun," Velvet said, approaching his mouth, sending shivers of pleasure through his spine. His body kept responding, almost begging for the mare’s touch, to feel her pressed tightly against his body.

Josh Sinclair let his hand trace over the lines of Velvet’s face, marvelled at the softness of her fur. He couldn't have stopped this if he'd wanted to.

With her hoof, Velvet felt along the wall for the silver knob and turned it hard to the right. Warm water rained down on them, soaking her pale pink fur immediately, matting her pink and purple mane to her face. Josh pulled her face closer to his own and pressed their lips together, tasted her tongue as he probed the mare’s mouth gently.

The water began to warm slowly as his hands caressed her sensitive wings. Sweet Velvet playfully licked and kissed the side of the human’s neck, her sharp teeth raking his skin.

The water flowed down Velvet's face and Josh couldn’t stop staring at her, this beautiful, sensual bat that had entranced him. So utterly beautiful, the gentle curves of her body, the allure of her eagerness, her combination of adorable and sexy demeanour. His fingers are unable to stop their exploration of her body; Josh pressed them to Velvet’s neck and kissed her roughly, bringing out delicious moans of pleasure from the pony.

Josh had denied himself for far too long. In that space that needed no speech, ruled by their animalistic lust, their chests pressed against each other. Sweet Velvet raised her face and kissed him wildly, burning with desire.

It took only some gentle pressure on her shoulders for Velvet's knees to bend. Josh pushed her gently towards the wet tile floor. Velvet never took her eyes from Josh as she sat on the floor and massaged his cock with a hoof. In a matter of moments, Josh Sinclair’s hard cock was arched up in front of the bat-pony, visibly throbbing with pent up desire.

"Oh, dear..." Velvet whispered and without hesitation she opened her mouth.

She reached for Josh Sinclair’s tights, her hooves holding him as her eager mouth and long, agile tongue cared for his hard cock, sending shivers through his spine as the warmth of her mouth enveloped his throbbing cock. His eyes closed as she moaned with his cock in her mouth, the delicious vibration making him ready to cum in her mouth.

Josh put a hand over Velvet’s head, his fingers holding her by the hair as his hips thrusted into the eager mouth; Sinclair was losing control of his body, his back leaning against the white tiles. The now hot water splashed against his back and neck, easing the lingering tension. Velvet's deep red eyes stared at him, a look of desire on her face as Sinclair trusted inside her mouth, the bat’s wing flaring open with the pleasure jolting through her body as she swallowed his cock.

"By the gods, you are...," Josh Sinclair grunted as he felt the mare’s tongue coiling around his cock, making him shiver, "you are just so damned hot!"

His back arched with a powerful orgasm, his hot seed filling Velvet’s mouth in gushes of hot, thick semen.

Velvet purred as she eagerly swallowed Josh’s cum, licking the head of his cock to savour the last drops of his cum before sensually licking her lips.

Josh Sinclair eased himself into Velvet’s embrace, breathing in that wonderful scent of her, fresh, dark and sweet.

"That was good," Velvet whispered and kissed his ear.

"Fucking amazing," Sinclair mumbled in reply.

Sinclair took Velvet to grab a towel so they could dry themselves, Velvet made sure to use the thick cotton towels to help him reach every place, groping and caressing him all the while. All dried up, Velvet gave a look to her dress, deciding it needed a thoroughly washing, she put her socks and panties back on, quickly tying her hair with the red bow.

"We need to get you some new clothes when we stop to resupply,” Josh said as he put on his pants.

“You say that as if you didn’t love to have me walking around in panties,” Velvet winked with a soft giggle.

Finished with their unexpected shower, Josh guided her through a round, thick airlock door that sealed the bridge from the rest of the ship in case of emergencies and into the main bridge.

Velvet gasped as they walked in, the bridge was surprisingly open, with five working stations that could be moved around with only a few clicks or even be completely reconfigured for any operator. The bridge was surrounded with projectors and smart screens that could display information from the sensors and run simple analysis in a matter of microseconds.

“It’s amazing!” She darted around the bridge, wanting to inspect every detail. “I had never seen a place like this!”

“It’s still experimental,” Josh said smoothly as he took his place on the captain’s chair. “I made a deal with the Exploration Society, they helped me get this system running and I have been helping them with data and modifications.”

Green beams of light coming from the ceiling covered Velvet from head to toe.

“Hey, whoa… This tickles! What are you doing?” Velvet was looking at him with wide eyes as the beams of light moved around her body.

“The system is registering you, just stay still for a moment; it needs to register your bio signature.” Josh replied promptly, tapping a few keys to check on the process.

“Oh…uh, cool!” She slowly turned around and raised her tail for him. A feverish blush crept up his neck, as he struggled to remain in place.

“And… Done! You’re registered.”

“Thanks, boss,” Velvet smiled, wagging her tail playfully. “So what do I do now?”

“You can help me with the paperwork, the Exploration Society seems to have a never ending desire for mission reports” He stepped towards her. “But since you are already here now, I have another idea…”

She raised her tail as he caressed her ass, moving her panties to the side. One hand groped her ass as the other fingered her tight ass, extracting delicious moans from the mare.

“Fuck,” she moaned aloud as a rumbled growl vibrated in his chest.

“That’s exactly what I have in mind,” two fingers slid in her ass, stroking.

Velvet’s wings flared open, shuddering as pleasure gripped her, tore through her nerve endings.

“Oh Goddess!” She nearly screamed out the prayer as Josh worked his fingers inside her, caressed and stroked until she writhed and nearly screamed out his name.

Then she was being stretched even more, vibrations of pleasure resonating inside of her as he thrusted his hard cock inside her. Her moans filled the command bridge as he began to fuck her, slow and easy, then fast and hard, until every sense she possessed was overwhelmed with wicked, fiery pleasure.

She felt his hands grabbing her waist as his cock thrusted hard and deep inside her. Waves of lustful bliss built inside her, reverberated through her system as he plunged inside her with quick, deliberate thrusts.

His hips rocked powerfully against her and the heated length of his cock filled her. Each stroke of his cock, each caress of his fingers, filled her with burning lust.

Powerful shuttling thrusts filled her, stroked her until she felt the stars, the moon explode inside her. Sensations became rapture; it became ecstasy as her orgasm overwhelmed her senses.

She felt his thrusts increase as the first wave of pleasure tore through her. Inside, held within the tight grip of her muscles, his cock began to pulse, stroked hidden nerves and sent her careening into another harder, more heated orgasm. Crying out his name, Velvet was burning with each pulse of his semen as it filled her to the point it overflowed, and yet pleasure rushing through her in waves.

That night, hours later, Sweet Velvet’s admired her new room as the androids brought in the last items she had synthesized.

Now that the ship’s systems recognized her as a proper member of the crew it had been only a matter of selecting the options she wished and having the ship reconfigure the room.

The floor was darkened softwood, with a large bed pressed against the wall and a small nest dangling from the ceiling, both had been furnished with incredibly soft pillows. One of the walls had been covered in smart screens that reflected the sky outside the ship, a vanity pressed against the opposite wall was filled with a selection of cosmetics and a small dresser contained for now only her dress after the androids had it cleaned and pressed.

That’s really good. She smiled to herself; things were finally working out for her.

“Is Velvet strapped in for warp?” Josh Sinclair asked the android at his back.

“Yes, Captain, there is an android with her,” the android reported.

“Good,” he mumbled as his fingers tapped quickly on the keyboard. “Let her know we are warping in five”

Josh had to admit that Sweet Velvet had taken for her new job with ease, in the last three days she had managed to put all the paperwork in order and had sent a few data packets about their mission to the Exploration Society through the ansible network. For once, Josh would be in the Society’s good grace by the end of the mission.

He checked the sensor data once more, making sure there was no other ship nearby or even small rocks that if caught in the warp would be turned into a deadly cloud of plasma. He turned back to his console, well used and faded, and with a few keystrokes, he activated the ship’s warp generator. Space was twisted in front of the ship, the distorted photons drained all colour from the universe and in a timeless moment, his ship pierced the fabric of time-space, by the time the colours of the stars and planets flooded his vision, he had traversed four light-years.

The ship settled back into autopilot as he put their course toward the snow-covered planet of Vilmore.

Sweet Velvet was sure she had just experienced the weirdest hangover of her life, it had lasted barely a moment, but her brain had been enlaced with flaming silk and dropped on a vat of zap-apple hard cider.

Her senses came back to her quickly, but the memories of the strange sensations still lingered. She splashed some cold water over her face and took deep breaths, the pinpricks on her skin slowly receding.

Familiar footsteps entered her room; she could almost feel his eyes upon her with a shiver of warm lust that banished the weird sensations.

“Try to chew some mint, they will help,” he handed her a black bundle. “Come on, time to stretch our legs.”

Her eyes narrowed as she took the item from him. It was a human jacket adapted for a pony body, good quality, heavy and rough in her hooves.

“What’s this for?”

“This place is cold, the city is run by the Vilm,” Josh Sinclair explained as he turned to the console next to the glass unit and typed. His fingers danced over the screen as he brought a hologram of the residents. “Stay near me, they can get really territorial.”

Sweet Velvet inspected the image those aliens looked similar to humans, but much more stocky, covered in white fur marked with ritual tattoos. Their technology was slightly behind pony standards, but their strong physiology made them capable of enduring longer warp jumps and more easily colonize other planets. They seemed to be able merchants with established trading outposts in dozen of planets.

She put on the thick jacket, dwarfed by it, consumed with the human smell of it. Gravity shifted under her feet, briefly disorienting her as the ship landed.

Josh took her to the back of the ship, where the hatch opened to a glorious white and turquoise world. Giant, crystalline snowflakes fell quietly from the sky and small buildings of black stone rested amidst the mountains, connected by long bridges.

Sweet Velvet rubbed her arms as they walked into port, the androids coming out to begin the cleaning and minor repairs.

Vilmore City, an alien city. I’m going to visit an alien planet!

Sweet Velvet grinned and had to keep her wings under control so she wouldn’t risk ripping her new jacket. She rubbed her hooves to warm herself; Josh pulled her closer to warm her.

They were in a giant docking station with a large opening at one end that led farther into the city and the rest was filled with small flyers static in the middle and dozens of passageways that resembled the one she had just come through.

“This place is so beautiful!” She moved deeper into the cavernous space, suddenly conscious about how small she was in comparison to the docked ships. The arched walls made the port look like a colossal cathedral of dark stone and chrome.

“I took the liberty of transferring you an advancement, this is a merchant hub,” he explained as they walked into the proper city. “I need to go arrange for some fuel and supplies, but you can visit the stores, just be careful!”

Sweet Velvet walked along the railway, peering into open passageways that led to other docked ships. A handful of beings walked around, many androids and robots moved cargo and performed small repairs, while aliens congregated in small knots, talking and bartering their goods.

Velvet had only a few hours to explore the city, but she tried to see as much as she could. The City was smaller than it first looked, the ports were mostly empty spaces and everything else was made incredibly thick to better trap the heat inside. The west side of the city was dominated by the ports and large warehouses, a few of them had been converted into improvised markets where merchants bartered and sold goods. She passed by a large white temple, elegantly curved and glittering, it seemed dedicated to some alien deity, but the many passing merchants had left offerings for good luck and protection. To the east, she found several restaurants, a couple of public baths, even some small hotels.

She took some time to buy clothes and necessities on the local stores; by the time she had reached the limit of what she could carry, the cold sun was disappearing on the horizon, giving place to a starry night. Velvet looked at the strange stars, taking in their strange arrangements and wondering where Equestria was.

She kept walking, following the sound of music that came from a small band playing in front of a café, four Vilms played strange instruments and made melodic, soft music.

Josh Sinclair put a hand on her shoulder, “hey, want to go for dinner?”

Her smile grew wider, Velvet pinned him down with her eyes. “What do you have in mind, captain?”

Josh Sinclair coughed and had to move his legs to help hide the erection. He tapped his personal datapad and adjusted himself. “There’s an amazing place near here, do you ponies eat pizza?”

Velvet jumped in the air, her wings flaring open, ripping her coat. “Oh. My. Goddess. Yes!”

The restaurant was decorated in a sort of style that Velvet could only describe as cubism-meets-impressionism, designed to reflect the moonlight seeping in through the windows into ethereal pieces of art.

They settled at a small table toward the back of the restaurant where it was relatively empty. The delicious smell of fresh food seemed to surround them, a rush of exotic spices.

A Vilm waiter hurried over as soon as they were settled.

“What would you like?” he asked them in a broken common language.

Josh ordered for them, speaking in flawless vilmir.

When the waiter had left, Velvet said, “Since you are paying for dinner, I should reimburse you.”

“And how do you intend to do it?” He settled himself more comfortably in his chair.

Her only reply was a slight raising of her eyebrows.

She slid under the table, one hoof expertly undoing his pants and taking his cock out, the tip of her tongue teasing the head as it quickly hardened.

She stroked her tongue over the sensitive head, pulling it into her mouth, sucking on it. She loved his taste, strong and alluring as her lips closed around it.

Josh groaned clenching his teeth as he tried to keep his expression neutral and controlled, the desire to fuck her mouth was almost too much. He slid one hand under the table, pulling her hair.

Velvet caressed his balls with her roof, applying a teasing pressure as the heated, hard shaft filled her mouth.

“Yes!” He hissed the word, under his breath, taking long, deep breaths as she sucked him, taking all of his cock in her mouth and teasing it with her long tongue. She purred, sending an ecstatic vibration that poised him on the pinnacle of orgasm.

Josh clenched his teeth and stopped a loud groan as he climaxed in her mouth, the fiery orgasm flooding her mouth with the gushes of hot, thick semen. She gulped it down eagerly, it filled her mouth, almost spilling out, but she caught every drop of the delicious cum.

At that moment their food arrived, Velvet climbed back to her place, licking her lips as Josh struggled with his pants. The waiter served them without saying a word, but with a knowing smile. Velvet took a glass of wine for herself, sipping it with a wicked smile.

“You are going to drive me crazy,” he took a long swig of wine, still slightly out of breath.

Velvet batted her eyelashes and looked back at him, once again looking adorable and innocent.

“I’m sure you will love every moment,” she replied with a giggle.

After they left Vilmore things settled into a comfortable routine. Josh was busy tracking the last reported positions of the changeling’s privateers ships and tracing a route that would put them through their blockade. Velvet used her free time to put the paperwork in day and explore the ship.

Velvet woke up early in the morning with one of the androids knocking on her door with a platter of fresh fruits and juice.

“Good morning, Velvet.”

“Morning,” She sank her teeth into a slice of apple. “We received any communication from the Society?”

“Nothing yet, madam,” the android replied. “But we are still receiving an update from the local ansible buoy.”

Velvet was still learning the quirks of FTL communication, their dependence on the ansible network and the courier ships made it so messages usually came in bundles and could take a long time to reach their destiny, more akin to ancient letters than emails or text messages.

She combed her hair while awaiting for the update, trying on one of her new dresses. She put on a light summer dress, of a soft, pastel purple that was short enough to let part of her plot showing.

With the update completed, she logged in the Society’s server. A couple messages were awaiting.

Sweet Velvet took a deep breath and dove into her work.

Velvet pulled the data from their current location and the cargo’s status from the ship’s computer and ran it through an encryption algorithm before sending it back towards the Exploration Society.

Sweet Velvet stretched her hooves and began typing her reports, she needed to update their course with the Tarku’s spaceport security, have the documentation on the crystals ready for when they arrived, and get some of the androids to verify that the emergency generators on the crystal’s container were in proper order.

“Such a hard working mare,” Josh whispered as he came close, his voice rough and vibrating as his fingers moved her panties slightly to the side, teasing her hole.

She raised her hips, lowering her head, and lifting her tail as he held her tightly by the waist and pressed his cock against her ass. His cock, so thick and hard, weighed heavily against her ass, the thick head pressing against her hole. Driving her into bliss as he pushed inside her body.

His hands were domineering, his expression savage as he pulled her body against his. Velvet shuddered as she felt her ass being stretched, his large hands holding her in place as inch by inch he quickly penetrated her.

She bit her lip as a strangled moan escaped her throat; he held her steady and pushed fully inside her. A hard thrust had her fighting to hold onto consciousness as his erection stretched her ass to its limits.

A maelstrom of wicked, flaring pleasure pounding inside her body with that thick, heavy weight lodged deep and hard inside her.

She didn’t need gentleness, she craved him fast and hard. A rough fucking.

His cock retreated, then thrusted hard, stretching her sensitive muscles again as he pounded her ass furiously. His groans joining her moans as they both fought their pleasure.

Her hips moved against him, his hands gripping her thighs. Perspiration coated his flesh and her fur, heated moans filling the air.

His hands tightened on her hips, her eyes widened at force of his thrusts, her breath catching in her throat, a strangled scream escaping her as a shattering orgasm crashed through her body. His cock throbbing with hard blasts of semen filling her up.

“What about some breakfast?” She asked with a labored breath.

The ship’s speakers cut his reply short.

Warning. Warning. Changeling ship detected!

Josh Sinclair rushed to the bridge, cursing under his breath as his eyes coursed through the sensor screens.

A cold knot formed in his guts as the first readings of the changeling ship returned, it was a privateer, almost twice the size of his ship and heavily armed with dark energy weapons, the thick armor would make it almost impervious to his defensive systems. But the most dreaded weapon in their arsenal was their boarding teams that captured people from all species and took them to the hive worlds were they were drained of their love until they died.

I can do it, Josh repeated to himself between clenched teeth.

“What’s wrong? What’s happening?” Velvet asked from behind him. “Josh?”

The siren rang once again. “It’s a hail. We have company.” He turned toward her. “Strap yourself in, we may need to go into high G.”

Sinclair checked the sensors one last time, the enemy ship was a dark wound in the space, a crooked form with thousands of sharp needles sprouting from it, crackling with their unnatural energies.

Sinclair took a deep breath and answered the hail.

“This is the Errant Venture, answering, Captained by Josh Sinclair, a registered merchant captain in service to the Equestrian Space Exploration Society.”

“Josh Sinclair,” the changeling drawled out the name, a low insectoid hiss in her throat. “The Society has no authority in this region, but the Changeling Empire is always glad to receive merchants, as long as they don’t break the law.” Her voice rattled strong and hateful through the speaker system.

“I apologize, who am I speaking to?”

Merciless laughter answered, “Salticidae, a proud Hive Queen for the Changeling Empire, human,” her voice was a hissing whisper, ready to ignite.

“All my cargo is registered on my manifesto, I’ll have it transmitted for you in a moment, you are welcome to investigate if you wish,” Sinclair leaned back, hoping he had a fiber of charm in his body.

“Ah, I’m glad to see some proper respect, human, I am used to too much bark, but no bite!” she chuckled with glee.

Josh kept an eye on his sensor displays, the cold in his soul, as he knew that any delay could be fatal not only for himself, but to Sweet Velvet.

He checked the database of the ship, selecting the electronic warfare program. Only inexperienced captains put all their trust in software. Sinclair knew that he could never completely trust it, it wasn’t just flaws and glitches, but also all the malware that hackers kept coming up with.

“I’m sending my manifest right now,” Josh embedded a particularly malicious worm in fake manifest and sent the archive in a tight beam transmission.

Sinclair couldn’t help a tense smile as he touched the transmit command, and in a fraction of a second the worm began raising hell on the enemy ship. This wouldn’t last long, but it was enough.

“Reactor at full power! Maximum burn,” Sinclair said as he strapped himself to his chair, even with the gravitational dampers there was always some bleed out. He sent out a distress call to the Tarku’s defense fleet, hoping they would arrive in time.

The Errant Venture groaned and shrieked as the ship accelerated forward with its full power for the first time. Josh was pressed against his chair, the air expelled from his lungs as if a sledgehammer had hit his chest, he was faintly aware of Sweet Velvet’s screams behind him and the sirens of warnings coming from all over, but nothing on his panel had gone red just yet.

It was designed to endure it, Josh mentally repeated to himself. The changelings wouldn’t take long to recover and he couldn’t maintain the astonishing fuel-burn rate demanded by the maximum speed forever.

“Launch detected,” the ship’s computer declared impassively. “Plasma emissions approaching at ten kilometer per hour and accelerating.”

“Shit,” Josh deployed their defensive measures, canisters of mirrored sand that would dampen the plasma, anything that pierced the cloud would be deflected by the armor.

“Turn around, Josh!” Velvet called from behind. “Go for the Gas giant!”

Josh didn’t bother acknowledging the order, he had to trust her. He couldn’t keep this acceleration for much longer. In an instant, all weight seemed to disappear as the ship turned and accelerated in the opposition direction; Josh groaned and cursed loudly as the acceleration returned.

The gas giant came into view quickly, the computer quickly tagging a few observation satellites in orbit as Josh calculated their travel path. He glanced at the fuel gauge decreasing too fast.

When the changeling’s ship opened fire once again, they would do it with all they had. The first probing shots had been just a test to see what the Errant Venture had for defenses. They would fly by each other at high speed, with the changeling’s ship firing their maneuvering thrusters to pursue them.

Josh was calculating their acceleration and maneuverability. When the shooting started, he would push throttle over the safe limits and try to move through their firing zone as quickly as possible.

Alarms were going off all over the ship, the high acceleration was taking its toll.

The changelings opened fire with their laser batteries, the space between the two ships suddenly filled with beams of dark energy. The nanolaminated armor on the Errant Venture deflected most of it, but the sheer power of the attack cracked through the defenses, burning out the armor.

“Dive!” Velvet screamed. “Into the plane…”

She didn’t get to finish it, they dived into the gas giant’s atmosphere with a screeching howl. The ship rumbled violently as the computer tried to adjust to the new conditions, the violent storms throwing the ship around. The already damaged superstructure was ripped open in several places, the airlocks closing themselves to prevent the atmosphere leak.

On his threat display, the changeling ship fired a salvo of plasma bolts, but the turbulence of the atmosphere disrupted their tracking system. More plasma bolts were fired blindly, the changeling ship kept itself above, it’s bigger size would make it hard to maneuver on the atmosphere.

The space was filled with bright green flashes of light and expanding clouds of gas as plasma bolts detonated harmlessly on the planet’s atmosphere. Josh breathed in relief, they wouldn’t be able to maintain themselves in this position for too long, but until them the changelings wouldn’t be able to track them down.

“That was really clever,” he said as he took some water. “How did you knew it would work?”

Velvet laughed. “Cradle of Stars. You know, the TV show?”

Josh had to laugh too, he would have to remember this trick.

The changeling ship spun to face the planet head-on. It took a moment too long for Josh to notice their change in movement, but he reacted fast by quickly tagging the ship with a threat overlay and igniting the engines.

The changeling ship was coming up fast towards them, their acceleration going way beyond the security thresholds. The computer tagged several breaches into their hull, they were bleeding atmosphere in their single-minded pursuit.

“They are coming for us,” Josh said, his voice calm despite everything.

The storm roared around them, thunders lashing between the dense clouds and gusts of wind strong enough to break steel threw the smaller ship around, the manoeuvring thrusters struggling to keep her stable. The changelings opened fire with their green lasers and plasma bolts once more.

Josh could only hear his own heart thundering in his chest, pushing away everything else as he took the ship into a dangerous dive, deploying the air brakes as he hit the denser, lower atmosphere. Normally intended for reentries, the airbrakes caused the friction with the denser atmosphere to launch the ship straight up.

“Hull breach,” the computer sounded. “Deploying emergency sealant and fire containment units.”

There goes the pool, Josh laughed nervously, transferring all remaining power for the anti-meteor lasers. A quick glance at the fuel gauge confirmed he only had enough fuel for a single shot.

One chance. One is all I get.

Josh shunted everything from his mind, let the fear and anger slip away. In a moment of cold practicality, he let his trained instincts take over. He locked the target and squeezed the trigger.

An enormous flash of light illuminated the storms; the Errant Venture was thrown by the shockwaves as the changeling’s ship lost balance and tumbled into a deadly spiral.

The shot had punctured their engine, what normally would be a minor problem in space quickly cascaded into a catastrophic failure, as the ship’s computer couldn’t compensate for the violent storms quickly enough. In a couple of heartbeats, it was torn in two, the pieces of hull spinning downwards towards the planet’s core.

Josh checked his display, the Errant Venture was in desperate need of repairs and running on fumes, but they had survived. The Tarkus fleet was coming towards them to escort them to the planet.

They’d won.

“Holy shit,” Velvet said. “Captain, that was amazing!”

Josh Sinclair unlocked himself from the chair, by the morning he would feel the pain, but for now he was still riding high on adrenaline.

He pulled Velvet to a rough, hungry kiss. He really could get used to that.
