She was brought back to reality. She wasn't in her throne room, surrounded by flames. She was back in her bedroom, tucked up in her bed. The whole nightmare she had caused her to sweat. It scared her so much. She thought her alter ego Daybreaker was gone for good. Guess she was wrong the entire time. She was still haunting her and she won't go away. All she wants is for her to be gone for good. She doesn't want to see her ever again. She just wanted to forget about her. Just then, the mare started to cry. Tears flowed from her purple eyes and down her cheeks. She quietly sobbed, not wanting to wake anypony up who were sleeping in the castle. Suddenly, her sister dashed in. It was Luna, princess of the moon. She had been one of the ponies in her life who cared deeply for her and was concerned for her well being. She always wanted to make sure she was alright. And right now she could tell she wasn't by looking at her current state. "Sister!" Luna exclaimed. Celestia stopped her sobbing for a moment and looked at her. "L-Luna?" she said quietly, sniffling. Tears were still flowing down her cheeks. Luna looked at her sadly, taking a few steps towards her. "Sister... I saw your dream and discovered you were having a nightmare about... well... you know who... do you want to talk about it?" she asked. Before Celestia could respond, she sgtarted crying again. The pain was too much for her to handle and she needed some support. Luckily, the princess of the moon was there to pass some of that to her. The princess of the moon got onto her bed and hugged her sister. Her sister rested her head on her shoulder, crying her eyes out. It broke her heart to see her sister like this. It was now up to her to give her the support she needs. "Shh..." the moon princess whispered into her ear. "I'm here... I'm not going anywhere... I'm staying right here... I got you..." "L-L-Luna! It was awful! S-she..." the sun princess tried to speak, but her younger sibling shushed her again. "Don't speak... you aren't ready yet... just rest your head on my shoulder for a bit, okay?" her younger sibling told her. The older sibling did what she said and just kept quiet, continuing to let out her emotions. ... After a few minutes passed, Celestia stopped crying. Her eyes were red and puffy. Her cheeks were stained with tears and some fresh new ones rolled down her cheeks. Luna used a hoof to wipe them away. "Now, talk to me," Luna said, giving her sister a look of comfort. Celestia was silent. She then turned away from her sibling. "Tia... look at me..." her sibling said. The sun princess looked at her again, new, fresh tears in her eyes. When the moon princess saw them, she wiped them away again. "Come on... talk to me... I'm your sister..." the moon princess said sweetly. The Sun Princess took a deep breath and started to speak. "Luna... she's back... she's back in my dreams... I-I thought she was gone for good but I-I was wrong..." she said. "She's taunting me again... w-w-what if I actually do turn into her? W-What if I actually go insane?" Her younger sibling could see that she was starting to freak out. She needed to calm her down. "Tia! Look at me," she said. The older sibling went silent and looked at her. "Now, take deep breaths. Breathe in." The older sibling did what she said and inhaled. "Now, breathe out." The older sibling then exhaled. "Are you calm now?" She nodded. "Good. Now, speak," Luna said. Celestia took another deep breath and started to speak again. "Luna... I think some of my insecurities are still overtaking me... I just don't want to turn into Daybreaker... I don't want the darkness to consume me like it consumed you..." she explained. "I don't want to go insane and I don't want to hurt any of our little ponies..." Luna knew she needed to say something about her alter ego Nightmare Moon. She thought maybe it would help her feel better. "Celestia... you won't turn into Daybreaker... I promise... I know you... I know you're better than that... I know you won't let the darkness consume you like I let it consume me... I know you won't make the same mistake I did... I let my jealousy get the best of me and I turned into Nightmare Moon..." she told her. "So please... don't think like that..." When Luna said that, Celestia felt so much better and embraced her into a hug. "Thank you, Luna... I love you..." she said. Luna smiled. "I love you too..." ... The next morning, Celestia awoke from her sleep. She felt so much better after spilling out all her emotions to Luna. She didn't know what she would do without her. She was glad somepony understood her about the darkness. After she brushed her mane, she headed to the kitchen. When she arrived, she saw Twilight and Starlight. She was shocked to see them. "Twilight?! Starlight?!" she said shocked. "What a surprise!" The two ponies had concerned looks on their faces. "Princess... your sister told us what happened last night..." Twilight said. S-She did?" I said. "Yes," Starlight replied. "Princess, are you sure you're okay?" Celestia turned away. She thought she felt fully better, but she guessed she still felt afraid about becoming Daybreaker in the real world. "Well... kind of..." she admitted. "Luna made me feel better for the most part, but I still feel afraid about becoming Daybreaker..." Twilight and Starlight looked at each other. They were concerned for the princess's being. They both decided to say some reassuring things to her. "Celestia... you won't become Daybreaker I promise..." Twilight told her. "Yeah. You're nothing like her. You are a sweet pony who cares about your subjects," Starlight added. Their words made The Sun Princess smile. She then went over and gave both of them a hug. "Thank you..." she said. "You're welcome," the purple alicorn said. "We'll always be here for you." "No matter what. You aren't alone," her unicorn friend added.
