> Crime: The Beginning > by WwolfJade123 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Summoned > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Twilight was looking at the buildings and creatures they pass by, a little worried about what was going to happen. She was summoned by Princess Celestia and it was urgent. Celestia even ordered the royal carriage to pick them up. She turned her head around and saw her friends chatting about various stuff. She turned at her left and felt the wind blow away her mane as she closed her eyes. Breathing in, she relaxed and smiled. A tap on her shoulder made her turn at the direction. A warm smile met her eyes, "Soooooo," Dash elongated, "When will we continue our... Thing?" She said. Twilight blushed a little on how she put her sentence. She just rolled her eyes and turned around, ignoring the pegasus. She could hear her chit-chat on why isn't she listening to her, but she just ignored her and enjoyed the view. Twilight looked a little closer and saw that Canterlot is around the distance. She turned around and saw that their friends had noticed too, she smiled warmingly at them. As they landed Pinkie dashed out of the carriage and inside the castle. Twilight and the others just rolled their eyes, no matter how many times Pinkie has been in Canterlot she still rushes inside like it was just her first time entering the place, same goes with all other places they've been. The crew finally caught up with the earth pony, "What took you all so long?" Pinkie asked as she sat down on the floor. She is a smart pony but sometimes she can just be a little over-enthusiastic that she forgets to think before she acts, "Ohhhhhh, that makes total sense," She added as the realization hit her hard. She smiled back at them sheepishly as she rubbed the back of her head. Rarity walked over the earth pony and helped her up, and continued walking, "The letter said to meet the princess at the council's office," Twilight said. The guards bowed as the main walked by them, they were quite pleased with how they treated them. Ever since they saved Equestria from Nightmare Moon a few years ago, they have been treated like royalty, even Spike got his part of the treatment. Joyful conversations and waves of laughter they had on their way to the council's office. Pinkie and Rainbow Dash were the starts of all the fun, the two of them just can't stop talking. Pinkie made funny jokes that make total no sense while Rainbow Dash boasted all of his treasures and skills which made a small fight between all of them, yet again, it was proven that Twilight was still the strongest and wealthiest in the group. They stopped in front of a huge wooden door. Rarity used her magic to open the left side of the door to let her friends go inside before her, how generous. The main walked inside and saw Princess Celestia crying as she was talking to the high council. Twilight and the others frowned, this problem isn't good. "Princess..?" Spike called her name softly not trying to surprise her at their arrival. Celestia quickly wiped her tears away to looked a little presentable in front of every creature in the room. She stood up to her feet, "T-Twilight..." She said, voice full of sadness. Twilight took a step forward and smiled warmingly at the alicorn in front of her, "Princess?" She answered. Celestia couldn't hold herself back as tears started to stream from her eyes. She raised her hoof up high and slapped Twilight. She didn't hesitate. She looked at her friends and saw the shock and scared emotion from their eyes. She sighed heavily, "I trusted you, Twilight," She said straight forward and walked away. Before leaving the room she turned head, "I guess I was wrong," The high council walked up to Twilight and saw how her tears dripped to the carpet. He himself was crying too, he handed out some files that he had been levitating for a while now. Twilight's magic accepted the files without moving from her position after she was slapped. The high council walked away crying. Rainbow dashed up to her and hugged her without hesitation. Twilight trembled and sobbed heavily, a hoof covering her mouth to keep her voice low and muffled. Rainbow caressed her main and shushed her, calming her down. Rarity took the files from Twilight's magical grasp. She started to read the files and saw a letter inside, a pair of glasses appeared from her left and she levitated it on her eyes. She read the papers rapidly. Her pupils dilated and read the last part of what she was reading out loud, "-Will be banished from Equestria..." The other's pupils' dilated as they heard what Rarity had said. Twilight wiped her tears and with the help of Rainbow Dash she stood up and approached the unicorn, "Let me see..." She said with a crackling voice. Rarity gave her the files as tears started to fall from her eyes. Dear Princess Twilight Sparkle, a report from the citizens all over Equestria that a cloaked figure started to burn buildings and killing ponies. Guards all over Equestria started to look for this creature, eventually, they found a strand of a pony's mane, scientists researched this mane's DNA. Some days later a photo of the figure was captured up close next to the dead body of a pegasus. You. Princess Twilight Sparkle. Is a traitor. The strand we found matched your DNA, and the photo was blurry but it was clearly a purple alicorn with a mane of purple. And because of your royal title you will not be punished death but you Will be banished from Equestria After reading the letter out loud, Twilight flipped the page and saw the strand the guards have found and the picture right next to the strand with the text above it saying; EVIDENCE. One by one, tears dropped from her chin and onto the carpeted floor. "Th-this must be a misunderstanding," Rarity's voice was cracking, "You were with one of us every day... How can they be so sure that it was you..?" Rainbow Dash walked towards Rarity and snatched the files from her magical grasps and read the letter over and over. She flipped the pages and re-checked the strand and picture. The tears that had fallen from her chin fell faster and faster as she gritted her teeth, "Rainbow..." Applejack said. Pinkie's mane deflated, her eyes dilated. She was breathing heavily, it looks like she was holding back tears trying to smile to make everypony happy again. Fluttershy hugged the pink pony and whispered, "It's alright to cry, Pinkie..." As she said those words Pinkie didn't fight back and swiftly hugged Fluttershy and sobbed. Rainbow found a sentence at the bottom of the letter and read it out loud, "You will have one week before the court will start, I hope you will make the best use of this time," All the creatures in the room stared at Rainbow as she read the letter. Rainbow looked around and smiled, "Let's go home," > Sleepless Night > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- On their way home, they did nothing but stay silent. Each was a little hung up over what will happen when Twilight is banished. From the looks of it, Twilight was still crying, she was gritting her teeth and was saying something under her breath. 'How could I have been blamed for that kind of a crime, I even helped the guards find the real impostor' The air shifted and became cold as the clouds darken. It was going to rain, yet the creatures in the carriage didn't seem to care. Rainbow Dash looked around and saw nothing but sadness in their eyes. She was sad too, yet a side of her wanted to be strong in front of every creature. She wants them to know that she'll be there for them at their hardest times, now was a great time to show that kind of confidence. Twilight was suffering the most, she is the one being banished from the land she loves. Rainbow just wanted to hug her, wanted to make her feel comfortable for what time they had left. A few moments had passed and not a single word has fallen upon them. Eyes were focused on the ground, not wanting to look up to see the sadness in each other's faces. The silence started to bother Rainbow Dash. This silence and sadness that was going around in the air was killing her. She sat straight and faced every creature, building up the courage to say something helpful, "H-how are you all holding up?" None answered. They were all holding back a few words. She flattened her ears and lowered her head as she sat down defeated. How can life be so cruel to them? "You know," Twilight started, "Trust takes a long time to build up and seconds to break. Just from a single misunderstanding to a horrible disaster," Twilight looked up to the group, her eyes had a tint of hope as it watered, "Do you all still trust me?" She asked with a crackling voice, soft but was heard. Those words took them by surprise. They looked up at the purple alicorn. Confused on how she said those words, in such an unusual way it disturbed them. Twilight looked back down, even her friends don't trust her anymore. They all wondered a little hesitant with their answer. Well... not all of them. "Of course WE do!" Rainbow said without hesitation or even the presence of regret from her voice. She stood up from where she was seated and smiled at Twilight. Her face was still wet from all the crying but the tears that were falling stopped, "Why wouldn't we? We're your friends remember?" Twilight looked up to the pegasus. She saw her reassuring smile. She saw how her mane and tail were flowing with the wind. She dashed up to the pegasus and hugged her tightly as she cried on her shoulder, "T-thank you..." Her grip tightened after saying those words. Rainbow hugged her back. Not a little longer she could feel hooves being wrapped around her, comforting her. Rainbow opened her eyes and looked at the alicorn, "We'll never leave you..." Tears of joy flowing from her eyes. I promise... The group wiped their tears away as the carriage landed. They took a last glance at each other before they walked out of the carriage. Rainbow gave them the biggest smile, reassuring every creature. As they walked out of the carriage, it quickly flew away leaving the seven of them. Walking through Ponyville, Twilight noticed something quickly as she scanned her surroundings. Her pupils dilated as she saw how the ponies that lived there was in terror seeing the princess that they thought that had killed and burned hundreds of houses and ponies. She lowered her head and flattened her ears as tears started to build up. Rainbow took a glance on her surroundings and saw some ponies gossiping looking at them back and forth. She puffed her chest and gave them an angry glare, those ponies saw it and immediately walked out of the scenery like nothing ever happened, sweat dripping off their forehead. Fluttershy saw what Rainbow just did, a small smile crept on her face. ''Loyalty'' She thought. Rainbow looked at her right and saw Twilight almost bursting into tears. She wrapped her wing around the alicorn and pulled her closer. Twilight was taken by surprise on what Rainbow just did. She looked at the pegasus and saw her left wing move closer to her, wiping away the tear that had fallen. She smiled and continued walking. Rarity smiles maliciously at the two. "Look at these lovebirds they are, oh, so CUTE together, I just want them to kisssss," She made goofy faces as she thought the two kissing each other. Spike noticed Rarity's mood and walked up to her, he saw how into she was on what she was thinking. He giggled. A drop of something wet from above made the main lookup and frowned. Applejack was the first one to actually break the silence around them, "Well gotta go! Ah promised Applebloom that I'de help her with a project tomorrow at school," With those said she hugged her friends and took off. "Oh no, their's gonna be a storm?" Fluttershy said. A nod from Rainbow Dash answered her question, "Well I better get going too. Angel and the other animals need a place to say for the storm, I'll be busy this whole afternoon," She said walking out. Spike and Rarity followed the canary pegasus, "We'll help you too. We know how hard it is to gather all the animals to their shelter before the storm," Spike said as Fluttershy smiled and nodded. The three walked off to the distance leaving Rainbow with Twilight. The two continued walking, "You can go home too, Rainbow. You don't need to accompany me home," Twilight said with a dry voice. "Oh c'mon, Twi! You aren't going home alone! Because you'll be, uh, alone..?" Rainbow rubbed the back of her head recollecting what she said a little confused. Twilight looked at the pegasus and chuckled at her own confusion, "My point is, I don't want you to be alone at the castle after that incident at Canterlot," She added reassuringly. Twilight looked back at the pegasus, "You really don't need to do that, Rainbow. I'll be fine on my own, the castle is actually peaceful when I'm... Alone," She looked at the ground, "Ever since Starlight moved back to her hometown and Spike being asked by the Ponyvillians on some tasks that only him can handle. I've gotten used to being alone," Rainbow frowned, "Well now you aren't," "Huh?" "I'll be staying with you for the whole week! We'll be having tons of FUN!" Rainbow darted and hovered above the alicorn, "We'll be having awesome games every day this week! Read a bunch of Daring Do books, eat food until we're full! Hell, I'll even help you with the last princess stuff you need to attend! I'll make sure that you'll be comfortable with your last days here with us. Plus, I'll be your new Spike," She said as she landed next to the alicorn and quickly draped her wing on her back. Twilight managed a small laugh, "I'd appreciate that, Rainbow," Their conversations were full of laughter and joy. Every time Rainbow made up a joke Twilight would start cracking up with laughter, and while Twilight was laughing she made a joke of her own and made Rainbow Dash crackling with laughter. Rainbow was true at her promise. After she promised, Rainbow quickly landed the laughter with all of her boastings and complaints. They walked up to the stairs and stopped at the castle doors finishing up some few sentences before Rainbow Dash grabbed the handle, "After you, M'lady," She said with a grin. "Gladly," Twilight walked inside holding a burst of laughter. As her whole body stepped inside the castle she breathed in. The cold breeze was as relaxing as always a good way to clear a busy mind. She looked down and saw her reflection on the crystal floor, moving her eyes from left to right she saw a Rainbow Dash making googly faces at the crystal floor. Twilight couldn't hold herself and burst in laughter. Rainbow stood straight and giggled on what she had did and on Twilight's reaction, "Am I a great friend? Or not?" She asked as she puffed her chest and inhaled like it was her last breath. Twilight took a moment to answer her question and realized something. She slyly smiled, "You know that your gonna be the one scrubbing the floors while Spike's gone," The pegasus' eyes dilated as it stretched as wide as the dinner plates. She paused for a moment. Twilight saw Rainbow's lifeless reaction on what she said and bust in laughter again. Her hooves even failed to carry her as she continued her laughter. It took a few moments for Twilight to stop laughing and Rainbow Dash thinking of how she could scrub the floor of the whole crystal palace. A few giggles were still present from Twilight's voice as they were walking down the hall to the throne room. They were finishing up the last princess duties Twilight will have until her banishment. As they entered the room, they saw a shadow figure reading the papers from the table. Rainbow quickly flew towards the figure and wrapped it around with some papers. Twilight teleported to her room and quickly grabbed the horn braces from her cabinet. When she teleported back to the throne room she quickly equipped the braces to the unicorn from afar and switched the lights on. She froze on what she had seen. A stallion with a white coat and blue colored mane, eyes were as royal as his title. Twilight's eyes started to water, "B-brother?" She asked. Rainbow softened her grip on the unicorn enough to let him speak, "Twilly..." He said looking away from the alicorn as tears from his own started to fall down, "I-I heard the news..." There was something in his voice which made Rainbow Dash not let her guard down around this very stallion. "You can let him go now, Rainbow," She said as she took a step forward. Rainbow hesitated at first but when she saw how serious this was on Twilight's eyes, she let go. Slowly but surely she softened her grip around the stallion until he was free. Shining Armor ran as fast as he can to his sister hugging her when she was at her reach, "I'm happy you're alright. I was worried," Shining said as he hugged his little sister tighter, almost choking her. Rainbow gritted her teeth as she circled around the two. She reached Shining's face and saw his hooves trying to get the horn braces off of his horns with an angry face. Her eyes dilated as she saw Twilight fell down from her brother's grasp, fainted. She charged at him when Twilight hit the ground. Her brain quickly made a plan. She smirked. Shining's horn brace broke. He guards for a defense he was waiting from the pegasus. He quickly teleported away from the pegasus and reappeared behind her. He raised his hoof up high and smashed it on Rainbow's back. She screamed in agony. Shining armor charged for a big kick on Rainbow's diaphragm. As he hits, Rainbow blocked his move she flapped her wing carrying Shining on top of the castle's ceiling. Halfway there, Rainbow swiftly and easily flapped her wings again but now Shining Armor was on top. Her speed was incredible, as Shining Armor hit the ceiling he was knocked unconscious. They fell on the crystal floor as it made a mini earthquake. Rainbow was on top of the unicorn and panted. She slowly walked towards Twilight, subsiding the pain from her back. She nudged Twilight with her head. She didn't wake up. She sighed and went underneath the alicorn and moved her slowly on her back, she winced in pain as Twilight laid on her back. She subsided the pain again and walked Twilight to her room. Rainbow entered Twilight's room and opened her lights. She quickly smelled the lavender scent coming from the room. She walked up to Twilight's bed as she carefully laid and tucked the princess to bed. She walked away turning the lights off and closed the door behind her. She flapped her wings and flew away going back to where Shining Armor was last seen. "Tsk," She said as she stood in front of Twilight's older brother. She bit his tail and dragged the unicorn to the bathroom. Entering the bathroom, she wiped the sweat that had formed on her forehead and pushed him into the bathtub. In the cabinet, she saw a fist aid kit and a rope enough to tie Shining for the night. She walked outside the bathroom carrying the first aid kit and flew to the kitchen where she got a pack of ice. She put the ice pack on her back where the bruise was. She winced. A few minutes had passed and she wrapped the bandage around her bruise. She heard a scream coming from upstairs. Her pupils dilated as she subsided the pain of the bruise and dashed upstairs a rainbow streak following her trail. She kicked the door open revealing herself to the alicorn inside. She scanned her room for any bad guy that was trying to kill or harm her. She scanned Twilight and saw no bruises from a creature. She dashed up to the alicorn and hugged her, "What happened?" Twilight's breathing was unstable. She breathed in and out a couple of times before she spoke, "Shining Armor, injected me something... It was painful a-and sc-scary..." Rainbow tightened her hug, "It's alright," She frowned. How could her own brother do something like that? Her focus went back on the alicorn on her grasp and saw how broken she was on the fact that her one and only brother tried to kill her. She closed her eyes and let the alicorn lean over her, "Don't worry... You're not alone..." > Day 1 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The morning sunrise went through the castle's windowpane. Slowly but surely it occupied the rooms inside, lighting it with the warmth of the sun. Soon enough it reached Rainbow's eyes. Rainbow squinted her eyes and slowly opened it. She blinked a couple of times clearing her vision. When it cleared she stood out of the bed and stretch her wings. She winced in pain, she looked at her back and saw the bandages. She sighed and walked outside the room. She went to the kitchen and opened the fridge grabbing some ingredients. She opened the stove to heat the pan. She grabbed some eggs and cracked it open in a bowl. She started to mix the egg with a spoon breaking the yolk as it scatters. She put her hoof up in the pan testing if it was hot enough to cook then poured the mixture into the pan. She flapped her wings and she was quickly bought back to the where the refrigerator was and opened the cabinet on top of that grabbing the glasses and silverware. Not a few moments later she was preparing the plates for Twilight's breakfast in bed and for hers too. She put a plate with eggs on the tray and settled a glass full of orange juice. The silverware was placed beside the plate, spoon to the left and fork to the right. A vase with a flower was present in the corner. Before she delivered Twilight's food she first finished her breakfast. She wiped her mouth with tissue nearby and grabbed the tray of food with her wings. She slowly walked up to the stairs and stopped in front of Twilight's room and knocked. She slowly opened the door just enough for her eyes to see what Twilight was doing inside. Her pupils dilated. She saw a sleepless alicorn finishing up and signing some papers. She went inside and set the tray at her left above the cabinet and dashed into Twilight's side, holding her still. She saw how red and tired Twilight's eyes were, "Wh-wha..." She was lost for words. Twilight looked away at the pegasus, "I-I couldn't sleep last night so I teleported the papers from the throne room and finished them off," she said. Twilight's pupils dilated as she saw the bandages wrapped around the pegasus back, "R-Rainbow!? What happened?!" She jumped off the bed leaving Rainbow in mid-air. Rainbow fell to the bed but was quickly caught by Twilight's magical grasp, "Gee, calm down," She said as she was standing up. She turned around and saw the alicorn worries over the bandages around her back. She sighed, "Well... We kinda have a little fight with your brother in the throne room... Which reminds me," She dashed out of the room and later came back, "Oh your food is served, Mademoiselle," She said as she shut the door. Twilight giggled at Rainbow's last words. She levitated the tray to her and inhaled the sweet aroma coming from the food. She climbed on her bed and set the tray on her lap as she devoured the food slowly. Rainbow slammed the door open to the bathroom and saw a sleeping Shining Armor. She closed the door behind her using her wings and walked up to the unicorn. Rage started to build up inside her. She opened the shower's hot option as it was hitting the unicorn. Shining Armor woke up as the water hits his coat. Shocked. He looked up and saw the glaring pegasus. He blinked a couple of times clearing his vision and laughed. A punch in the diaphragm hit him as he groaned in pain. He looked back up with an angry glare. "What did you do to Twilight last night," She said plainly. Shining ignored Rainbow Dash and looked at the mirror. His eyes widen as he saw not the noble prince he once was, but a traitor. His memory recalled everything that happened last night. Shining looked back at Rainbow Dash, his eyes started to water, "I-I was trying to protect my little sister, I-I didn't mean to cause you two any harm," He said. Rainbow gritted her teeth, "You didn't answer my question." She said, "And if you didn't mean to cause any harm then why did you fight me!?" She walked closer to the stallion, the way her hooves hit the crystal floor was scary to watch. "What if I tell you that It's none of your business," He barked out those words only having hoof hit his face hard. His nose started bleeding. He spits out the tooth that had broken from the punch, "Heh, your a strong punch-" before he could finish his sentence he was punched in the diaphragm. Rainbow grabbed him by the chest, "I'll ask you one more time," She closed her eyes and slowly opened them glaring at the stallion, "What. Did you. DO TO TWILIGHT," She barked out those last words and tightened her grip on the unicorn's chest. He grunted. He glared back at the pegasus, "I'll tell you one more time, it's none of your business." Rainbow sighed and untied the unicorn. She received a 'huh' coming from Shining Armor, her eyes were blank. Rainbow untied Shining from one hoof to another. "What are you doing?" He asked, "You know I'll hit you when I'm all set free," He added. His hooves were freed one by one as Rainbow frowned. She continued untying Shining Armor until he was completely free. A hit in the face was the result after she untied him. She didn't flinch. She looked back at Shining Armor, his eyes widen as he saw what was present on the pegasus' eyes making him freeze. She walked out of the room and locked the door. She knew that Shining couldn't get out of the room even if he uses the things inside the bathroom. There was only one way in and out. He also couldn't teleport outside because of the horn brace. She smirked. Walking through the halls she wondered where the purple alicorn might be. Twilight already finished all of her paperwork so the logical place she might be is... She thought. She flapped her wings and headed towards the castle library. She sped throughout the halls with ease. When a corner appears she'll move like it was just a straight line. It was like she was racing a dozen ponies at once. Her speed was one of her deadliest weapons, Twilight once said. She arrived at the castle library. She looked around and saw the pony she's been looking for. She flew over to her and sat beside her, reading the title of the book on her way there. She smiled warmingly at the alicorn and draped her wing around the alicorn's back keeping her warm. Twilight leaned at the pegasus' shoulder and continued reading her book. A few minutes later, a heavy knock on the door disturbed their peaceful and silent moment reading the book together. Rainbow stood up and looked back down at the alicorn. Twilight nodded and stood up as well. The two walked in unison on their way to the door. "Who could that be?" Rainbow asked in such a bored tone of voice. She took a quick glance at the alicorn and saw her shivering. Rainbow looked back at where she was walking and started thinking of a plan for Twilight to feel like this is the best week of her life. She started thinking and was lost in thought. Twilight thought for a while before answering, "Maybe just one of our friends," She looked at Dash and poke with her wings getting her attention. Rainbow jumped a little and smiled at Twilight sheepishly. Twilight rolled her eyes. Her horn started glowing a purple aura as she cast a spell to her and Dash warm. Rainbow enjoyed the warmth, which Twilight was happy about. They arrived at the door not too long. Rainbow opened the doors wide open with her wings. The two was left shocked to see so many ponies outside of the castle. Everypony was shivering, they did not notice before but the storm was getting worse. They saw the entire town waiting for the door to open, the ponies in front were shivering and wet. The ponies at the back were in the middle of the rainstorm. The ponies smiled as they saw the princess. "W-what are you all doing here..?" Twilight was lost for words. An earth pony with a orange coat excused her way into the front, soaking wet. She grabbed her hat out of her head for her to see properly. She smiled at the alicorn as she laid her hat down to the ground, "Well, me and the others were thinkin' to keep ya company until ya leave Equestria. So we asked the whole town if they want in on the a'dea," She motioned at the group of ponies, "And they all said yes," Twilight smiled as tears started falling from her eyes. She wiped them away and smiled at the group of ponies in front of her, she could not thank Applejack and the others enough on how much this means to her. Twilight isn't the type of pony to keep the ponies waiting so she hovered above Rainbow Dash and called, "Everypony inside! There are some towels in the closet for those who are wet and some hot choco which Rainbow Dash made herself!" Everypony started to talk to each other and walked inside one by one. Her friends were the first ones to enter. As Twilight landed on the ground, Rainbow had already flown to the closet to get towels for the ponies that were wet for Twilight's sake. She handed them to some of her friends as they passed the towels out. Twilight told the ponies to meet her at the conference room on the castle, which surprised some ponyvillians. Pinkie Pie was handing out sweets to the fillies and colts as they enter. Rarity and Applejack were handing out the towels while Fluttershy was escorting the ponies to the conference room. Twilight was amazed at how organize things were, she saw Rainbow Dash helping out everypony with what they need and also helped the canary pegasus leading the ponies to the conference room. She smiled and flew towards the library. Luna was walking angrily on her way to Celestia's room. She slammed the door opened, "TWILIGHT IS BEING BANISHED FROM EQUESTRIA?!" She shouted at the top of her lungs. She scanned the room and saw her sister crying at the corner of the room, regretting shouting at the alicorn in the first place. She walked up to Celestia and sat beside the Sun princess. Her eyes started to water. She put a hoof on Celestia's shoulder but was quickly removed as Celestia hugged her dear sister as a foal would. She sobbed at the alicorn's chest soaking it wet. Luna caressed her mane calming her down but it didn't do that much on her condition. Tears started to fall from Luna's eyes, one by one dripping in Celestia's dampened mane. Shining Armor slammed the door once again. The door did not move a single bit after the last sixty-three times he slammed into it. He sighed and sat at the bathtub. He looked at his hooves, anger started to build upon him. Why would I even do that to my little Twyily..? He gritted his teeth and clenched his hooves. He was huffing all of his anger away with the breath that he had been huffing out of. He looked up angrily and slammed the door one more time, he bounced off and hit his head on the sink hardly. Not hard enough for him to become unconscious. He stood up as he endured the pain of his head. He held his hoof up and massaged his head. He opened his eyes slowly. When the pain subsided his eyes shot open, took a little time for it to adjust to the brightness of the room. As it cleared his eyes to widen on what was in front of him. A mirror with tons of pictures of Twilight and her friends. He analyzed the pictures one by one, feeling a tear falling from her eyes. He scanned them again and always ended up at the picture that stood out the most; A purple filly jumped up high with her whole family happy for her. It was the day when Twilight became Celestia's Faithful student and the day Shining Armor became a royal guard. Their mother actually convinced the captain of the royal guard to take a picture of them. He then turned his attention to the Stallion staring right at him. He frowned by just looking at the stallion's body, after the events that had happened last night who would have forgiven him? Twilight maybe, but her parents wouldn't, not even if it was for the good of Equestria their parents did not want to see their children fighting over something ridiculous. "When did I became such a fool..." Twilight finished the last bookshelf and sighed. She has been arranging the books inside the library for her to have something to do. She knew that It would take at least an hour before they would actually finish the ponies to go to the conference room. A knock on the library doors got her attention. She turned around and saw a cyan pegasus smiling warmly at her. Twilight nodded at Dash for her to enter the room. Rainbow quickly flew by the alicorn's side and wrapped her wing around the alicorn, "Your shivering..." Twilight looked at the pegasus, "Of course I am! It's been a really cold day," She felt warm and comfortable, the spell didn't do a very good job on protecting Twilight from the cold and icy atmosphere, "Thank you, Dash... I appreciate your company," "Pshhh, no biggie, Twi!" The two started to walk out of the library making their way to the conference room, "You really needed it. Besides, I can't keep my promise if you were frozen," Twilight let out a 'huh?' and looked back at the pegasus, "What promise?" Rainbow stopped walking and froze. She realized she hadn't told Twilight about her promise, she only vowed that in her head and not out loud. She looked at the confused alicorn and smiled sheepishly on the alicorn while thinking of some kind of words she needed to say, "Y-you know..." She looked down on her hoof and back on Twilight, "I'd never leave my friends hanging!" Twilight giggled and continued walking, rolling her eyes. Rainbow let out a sigh under her breath. They reached the main door and saw that there were no more ponies coming inside or outside. Twilight's horn was covered with a purple aura. A flash of a bright purple covered Rainbow's surroundings. The light dimmed a little and blinked a couple of times clearing her vision. Her last blink revealed her surroundings. It was different. She was in front of a wooden double door, she looked at the alicorn on her side giving her death glares, "Maybe a 'head's up', would be nice?" Twilight smiled sheepishly and slipped out of Rainbow's wings and opened the doors wide open with her magic. A dozen sets of eyes stared at the two ponies that had entered the room. It sent shivers down Twilight and Rainbow's spines, it was a little creepy. The ponies smiled at them and continued their business after the two entered the room. The conference room was really big for the whole town to fit. Only a portion of seats was occupied. Rainbow said Twilight her goodbyes and joined the girls in the seat they saved her. Twilight walked in the middle. Her horn glowed a purple aura and the lights inside the conference room dimmed. The ponies attention went from their seatmate to the princess in the middle of the room. They all were very supportive and had reassuring smiles on their faces. Twilight took a final look around and smiled as tears started to flow from her eyes. A spotlight appeared over the princess of friendship revealing her tears as she was smiling. Some ponies stood from their chairs and almost ran towards the princess to comfort her, but it wasn't exactly needed when they saw the big smile Twilight was giving them. She looked at her friends and saw the kindness and loyalty from their eyes. Twilight's smile grew larger and closed her eyes, "Ponyville..." She did not use her inner voice to be heard. She started to walk around the room getting all the ponies attention, "A place where ponies and other species can live... in harmony..." She opened her eyes, "I, myself, have seen that through all of you here in the room... You all saw me at my worst and best as I did to you all..." She hovered above the ground, a teddy bear was summoned using her magic and she gave that to a filly in the crowd, "You all have... Accepted me for who I am... And not what my standards and title are..." "This... This is a different story... I won't be able to see you all after this crime against me and I know that I'll miss you all here... Even if I was the real culprit that killed all those innocent ponies and burned their houses," Twilight continued, "I don't care what others may think of me but what I only am sure that all of you... Are like a family to me and you all have been there for me since the very beginning," She landed on the crystal floor and put her hoof on her heart squeezing it, "Th-thank you..." All the ponies in the room started crying as the lights in the room lighten up slowly. They waited until the lights went up and ran over to the alicorn giving her the biggest and the warmest hug she'll ever experience. Those who didn't reach the princess they hugged the pony in front of them passing it until it reached to the princess. Twilight was left in shock as she saw the whole town hugging her for comfort. She started sobbing and hugged back. Twilight was a lucky pony to live in a town that supports and loves her no matter how bad the mistake she had made. The main five walked down and over the huge group of ponies. The ponies made a way for Twilight's friends to pass. It was clear as crystal that they had been crying since the first words Twilight said. Pinkie ran at the alicorn and jumped at her sobbing heavily on her chest. She was then joined by Fluttershy. Applejack and Rarity hugged the alicorn. Twilight looked up and was approached by a nuzzle from Rainbow Dash. The ponies soon left the castle around the afternoon. Twilight had a blast, they were playing minigames and telling secrets of their own. The group was left in the library reading a book that was narrated by Rainbow Dash herself, no one knew Dash was actually an amazing narrator. All eyes were focused on Dash herself not wanting to look at another direction. They even followed Rainbow's movement as she imitated the action on the scenes making the group feel hyped. As the story ended, Rainbow Dash landed on the ground, "The End," She said enthusiastically. The group stomped their hooves and cheered for Rainbow as she bows. They all laughed when they stopped cheering. "And somepony said I wasn't a good storyteller?" She smiles slyly at the alicorn in the room, "Twi..?" "I guess I'm mistaken. But..." She smiled slyly at the ponies looking at her, "Oh my! Where did, Rainbow Dash go?" She said in a royal accent. All of her friends looked at the alicorn in shock then laughed so hard that their hooves didn't help at all. ~~Later In The Afternoon~~ "Ohh... So that's why you won't answer me about those kinds of..." Pinkie stopped herself, trying to find the right words for the next part of her sentence, "Things," "See, what did I tell yah," Rainbow chipped in. Twilight giggled, "Well that isn't your fault, Pinkie. It is almost everypony's hobby every night," She looked at the pegasus in her left, slyly smiling from the pegasus. She quickly looked away and whistled like she wasn't listening. Her friends started laughing. She arched her eyebrows at the pegasus, "Isn't that right..? Rainbow Danger Dash..?" All the sets of eyes went from Twilight to Rainbow. They grinned at the pegasus as she started to blush in embarrassment. She covered her wings over her eyes covering her now red face. Pinkie broke the silence and said, "Red is a cute color for you, Rainbow..." Rainbow Dash shot up, "PINKIE," The group only laughed at the pegasus' expression. Sooner or later, Rainbow herself joined their laughter. It lasted long alright, there was no denying that. Rarity was the first one to get her composure back but was abruptly the one to tell another joke, making she and her friends laugh much harder. This would last a long time... Twilight thought as she laughed harder. > What's happening? > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Twilight was left alone in the halls of the castle. She walked passed and admired the photos that resemble the ones that were on Celestia's glass pane. She admired every single one that represented the Friendship of Magic, she saw all of her friend's victories and awards for each battle that they had faced. Her friends had already left the castle after one of them had realized what time it was. Applejack was the one who left first after realizing how late in the night had been and remembered that she would read Applebloom her adventures before she got to bed and soon enough everypony had left, which was something Twilight understands. She did not want to be somepony who needed constant company after being blamed for a crime that she did not commit. She frowned. She halted at a similar door to her left and turned. She saw the dragon wings symbols on the doorknob and quickly knew who's room this was. She opened the door with her magic slowly, a low creek mimicked its movements. When the door was wide enough for Twilight to look inside she stopped and checked to see if Spike was already asleep. Her heart melted to see the dragon sleeping peacefully on his bed. She still didn't get over about Spike's growth spurt, he was as tall as a grown adult pony. The others were shocked too and not only his height has grown, his maturity as well. Celestia and Luna had their minds jumbled when they saw how responsible and noble Spike has been after his growth spurt. The memories can bring you back. She closed the door trying not to disturb the dragon much further and continued walking down the hall. Luna walked inside of Celestia's chambers from her balcony, "It looks like the storm has subsided, sister." Tears were still present from her face but it wasn't as soaked as Celestia's, a guard told her she had been crying ever since she heard the news, the counselor also told her that Celestia hit Twilight earlier this day which made her condition even worse. Hitting one of your favorite and faithful friends are not something you can take on lightly even if he/she has been accused by such felony. She walked up to her sister and held her shoulder. She could feel the way Celestia was shaking and shivering from the news and from the cold breeze the storm emitted. She could also feel how Celestia's aura had faint from its blinding form to darkness that resembles the night sky in its own way. "Talk to us, Celestia. This is grief that we all have to partake," She said using her own formalities. Celestia sniffled and choked from her own tears before replying, "You wouldn't understand, dear sister..." she said like it was a whisper with a dull voice that only Luna could hear. This was aching for Luna to watch, she had to admit she was upset about Twilight's banishment, but seeing her sister having to suffer from the loss of her faithful friend was torture for her. She wanted to comfort her for all that's worth but she knew deep inside that it would do nothing for Celestia. So she remained by her side and joined Celestia's grieving process. Rainbow stood outside the door to the bathroom where Shining Armor was kept prisoner for almost two days. She was expecting to hear some banging and somepony screaming and grunting, which was a little creepy if you didn't know what or who was inside. She expected the door to bounce at her, expected for the door to burst wide open, expected it to make anything harmful or just loud enough that it would echo through the whole castle. But nothing happened. She lowered her guard for a second and leaned towards the door to overhear what's happened on the other side. Her eyes widen to what she was starting to hear. Muffled sobs and sniffles. He was crying. She backed up from the door, a look of discomfort was present on her face. What the hay? She thought. She had expected too much danger to come out of this door yet her ears were welcomed by a matured stallion's sobbing and muffled cries of his sister's name and how he had failed her. She opened the door slightly with her wings and took glimpsed inside. She was right. The general of the Royal Guards, The prince of the Crystal Empire was crying on a bathtub, all bloody and bruised. She stared at him with pity and shock, she did not want to hurt Twilight's older brother even if he had vaccinated her something foreign. He was still Shining Armor, the beloved brother that would do anything to protect his little Twily. She sighed and closed the door and left the stallion to reminisce and regret the things he had done. She frowned and stared at the doorknob for a second. She thought for a while, this was a big surprise for Rainbow, she did not expect him to cry and sob like a child after their little chit-chat or after anything at all. She expected the stallion to still be angry at her after what she had done to him, but no, she got the opposite. "Rainbow..?" A soft voice caught her off guard which made her jump, and well, shriek a little that was within earshot, "Celestia! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to scare you!" she said as she helped the pegasus up to her feet. Rainbow Dash noticed something in her sentence. She didn't mean to Scare me?. She pulled away from Twilight's magical grasp which made Twilight let out a 'huh', "Woah Woah Woah!" She said as she hovered above Twilight, "Me? Scared? I'm NEVER scared!" She proclaimed. Twilight only smiled slyly, "Uhu, then explain you jump like a little filly had seen the monsters hiding under her bed?" She managed a snicker. Rainbow blushed in embarrassment, "Well... uhhhh..." She rubbed the back of her head for information to at least save her from Twilight's slyly gaze, which actually looked cute on the Alicorn. What? Twilight chuckled, "What are you doing here anyway, Dash?" She said as she walked near the door which made Rainbow's heart raise. Rainbow swiftly landed and stood beside Twilight, "Did you wanna use the bathroom?" She titled her head on the pegasus, "Well if you wanted, use the other one on the left-wing. Spike said this one will have some plumbing before in use." She said as she smiled warmingly at Rainbow. "Really? Thanks, Twi," She played off, "I really need to go to the bathroom, I'll be going now!" When she was about to take off she was stopped by the alicorn's voice. "Wait!" Twilight called. Rainbow turned around, "Yeah, Twi?" Twilight hugged her loyal friend, "Thank you for staying..." She broke their embrace, "I appreciate it." "No problemo, Twilight!" She replied, "Happy to keep you company!" And took off. Twilight watched as her rainbow friend took off leaving a rainbow trail behind. She sighed. Well that's over, I'll go head to bed She thought as she held back her yawn. Her horn radiated a purple aura and was followed by a bright glow of purple. Twilight had teleported back to her room, "Well I really need to fix this mess..." She said to herself with a sleepy voice. Her magic played its role and levitated the papers and teleported it to the post office, not minding what Derpy will say to her the next day. She quickly listed the things in her mind at what she was going to do tomorrow, or what Rainbow Dash had planned for them to do tomorrow. She rolled her eyes as she thought of what Rainbow had on the mind, even a little chuckle escaped from her lips just thinking on how Rainbow Dash is going to trouble herself once again. She climbed on her bed making herself comfortable. With a flick of her magic, the blanket tucked her in flawlessly. She closed her eyes and let out a satisfied sigh and drifted off to sleep. ~~~ ERRRRR ERRRRR ERRRRR ERRRRR Spike groaned and used his left arm to grab his alarm clock. He squinted at first but didn't give up to find out why it's making so much noise. He blinked a couple of times clearing his vision to know what time it was. 2:30 A.M Spike sat up, "What in Celestia's name has gone wrong with this thing..." He said. He rubbed his eyes to get rid of his sleep while he slowly climbed out of bed. He looked at the time again and then outside the window, "How did you get so advanced?" He asked the non-living thing. He walked to his window and opened it. The cold breeze entered the room which awakened Spike from his half-sleep perspective. He inhaled and exhaled the wind as he watched Ponyville from such height, though all lights are out, he still finds it breathtaking to watch Ponyville's state at night. It was like Spike watching his children sleep, not that he had children. Only the thought of it made him blush. He sighed and held his alarm clock at a height that lets him see what was the problem and sat down on the window's arch which he had gained a habit of doing so. He didn't see any errors that might have happened, he raised an eyebrow, How can it alarm at this time without something or someone even touching it? He thought. "Weird," he said as he sat the alarm down at the counter. He paused and picked up the item frame. He smiled to see the picture of Him and Twilight outside the Golden Oaks Library. It had been at least four years ever since the library was destroyed. He frowned, "And now, Twilight is next..." He sat the picture and walked out of his room, "Let's just stroll around the castle until I'm tired," He opened the door and was shocked to see who was on the other side. Spike stared at her for a few moments before blinking a couple of times and spoke, "What are you doing at this hour, Rainbow?" Rainbow backed up, "Me?! What are you doing? You're supposed to be in bed!" She said. "Well, I'm not the only one! You should be too!" Rainbow paused at the realization and did not respond. Spike sighed, "Well if you really want to know," He started as he pointed at the alarm clock inside of his room, "My alarm clock woke me up at the wrong time," Rainbow's eyes widen. She hovered above the crystal floor, which she was not aware of, "Mine too! The alarm clock in the guest's bedroom woke me up at 2:30!" Rainbow exclaimed, "I took a stroll around the castle to use my energy so that I can sleep again." "Odd." Spike frowned, "Tell me... did you check if your alarm clock was touched?" He asked with a claw on his chin waiting for the answer. "Of course! I thought Twi changed it but it hasn't been touched!" Spike walked out of his room as he closed the door behind him, "Let's go check if Twilight's awake." He said as he headed the way to Twilight's bedroom and was followed by Rainbow. Their walk to her bedroom was silent, each one not knowing what to say. It has been a long time ever since Rainbow and Spike had their Bro Time after his growth spurt. Spike had been incredibly occupied helping out Equestria's needs just like what Celestia had told him to do. He was somebody else after that growth spurt, but he still talks the way he used to when it comes to Rarity and his now huge crush on the mare. To everypony's surprise, Rarity was oblivious enough to know about Spike's little crush but they knew it wasn't their place to tell. Rainbow chuckled softly, trying not to get Spike's attention. Rainbow looked at the dragon and studied him. His physic is incredible. He must have been carrying too much heavy stuff on his short crusades that made him look this way. His biceps and triceps were like big guns being glued together. His shoulders made him look like a dragon that came out from war, without scars and wounds though. Rarity and the others were quite impressed by his six-pack. His wings were also amazing for Rainbow, his wings make Spike look totally awesome. While Spike maybe muscular after his growth spurt, he still couldn't beat Rainbow when it comes to fitness and, well, muscles. The mare doesn't seem to have an ounce of fat in her body, all were muscles. Researchers and Scientists from Canterlot have been wanting to experiment Rainbow after she pulled off that Sonic Rainboom in the contest but was ruthlessly rejected by Celestia years ago. Even up until now Celestia has gotten some requests for a quick scan on Rainbow's body but was still ruthlessly rejected. "We're here," Spike said. Spike knocked a couple of times. No answer. He frowned and knocked again. This time, it was followed by a loud thud coming from the other side. Spike and Rainbow's eyes widen. Rainbow was about to break the door open with her strength and speed but was stopped by Spike's brute strength which made the nails flung off its the handle. Spike threw the door's remains behind him. Rainbow stared at the dragon in shock but she didn't have time to tell him off 'cause she was also worried about her friend. Before Rainbow knew, Spike had already entered the room. Rainbow checked the room first before entering to see if there were any intruders when she had realized there no one else besides Twilight and Spike, she entered. Twilight was unconscious on Spike grasp, she had seemed to be crying inside her dream world by the looks of the wet streams from her cheeks. Spike had picked Twilight when he had ran inside, tears were starting to form from the corner of his eyes, "T-Twilight?!" He called as the tears started to stream down his face and dripped one by one on Twilight's face, "Twilight wake up!" Rainbow dashed beside Twilight and took her off of Spike's grip. She held her by the neck and placed her head over her shoulder as tears started to stream down her eyes as well, "T-Twilight... Th-this isn't funny you know..?" She implanted her face on Twilight's neck, "Wake up, Egghead..." She whispered. ~~~ Twilight woke up in a void looking room. She looked around to see nothing but darkness. She raised an eyebrow and started to walk around darkness, a little worried that she may fall on a hole that she did not know of or just didn't notice. She looked from left to right, down and up to find nothing. She was now confused, "Luna?" She called, "Luna where am I?" No answer. This made her worried more than ever. She started running around finding an exit, or even an entrance. Twilight's heart raises in fear and despair was starting to flood over her body. She was now hyperventilating. A figure in the distance had appeared. From afar, she was sure that this figure was a pony. A mare. An alicorn? It's purple coat and mane were the same as Twilight, but the strands were different hues of blue than purple. Twilight let out a breath that she did not know she had been holding and ran at the figure. As she was getting closer and closer her heart tightened which she ignored. She felt like she knew this pony. She felt like her galloping was getting slower and slower so she flapped her wings until she was hovering above the ground and was racing with air. Her speed was getting faster and faster as streams of tears started to flow from her eyes which she did not notice. She felt like this pony had some connection between her and something inside that she had shut down for decades. She slowed down when she was nearing her destination. The pony was looking in the opposite direction, but from the looks of it, this figure was also confused as she was. Twilight wiped the tears away and landed behind the figure, "H-hey..." She said with a shaky voice. The pony gasped and turned around as she backed up. She was definitely crying just like Twilight. She looked at her with shock, confusion, and fear. Twilight took a good look at the alicorn and saw that she had a crown. The crown was almost the exact replica of hers but instead of the pink-ish gems, it had blue-ish gems. Her eyes matched Rarity's hue, regal shade of blue. "Wh-who are you..?" She asked with the same shaky voice as Twilight's, "Why am I here?" Twilight took a step closer and she took a step back, "M-my name's Twilight Sparkle..." She received a shocked look from the mare, "I-I don't know why your here... I-I don't even know why I am here..." She replied truthfully. The pony took a step closer to Twilight which made Twilight back up a little from this sudden action. The mare seemed to be satisfied with what she had seen and backed up wiping her own tears away. She put her hoof on her chest, "I-I'm Nightfall Glint..." She paused and took a deep breath, "Your twin sister..." > Her past... > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Twilight stood there, stunned by the news. She stared at Nightfall for a whole second, and then two until it became the awkward silence that was hovering above them. Twilight's hooves were shaking by this sudden proclamation, her mind was racing with questions. Nightfall hasn't made eye contact with Twilight after she had delivered the news. She was looking at her side as she was biting her lip. She opened her mouth a couple of times to break the silence but no words came. The two were standing in the middle of a void in silence. Twilight felt the need to say something, she felt like this pony here was just misunderstanding something or maybe the pony here was traumatized when she was a kid. But the way she speaks, the way she stands, heck, even the way she looks are something Twilight is familiar with. She felt like she knew this pony, but had no memory what so ever. She frowned. Twilight took a deep breath, which caught Nightfall's attention. Twilight closed her eyes and then again, took another deep breath, "L-look," She started, "M-maybe I'm just s-somepony that looks like your sister..." Twilight managed a fake chuckle to lighten up the mood. Nightfall was taken aback by Twilight's words. Her eyes shot from the side and finally made eye contact with Twilight. She took a step forward scanning her sister for any damage. Then she backed up, "N-no, I'm not wrong..." She looked down at the floor then back at Twilight, "Twily?" That word hung on Twilight's ears. She only knew who called her that. She stared yet again at Nightfall, eyes widen in shock. Her expressions were everywhere, she was turning angry and then sad then happy. She wanted to yell at her, no, she wanted to reason with her that she wasn't the pony she was looking for, but no words came, "H-how do you know that?" Tears started to form from the corner of Nightfall's eyes, "Y-you don't remember me?" She started to pace around the room, "That's what I and Shining Armor called you," She stopped and looked back at Twilight with a tint of hope in her eyes. "I'm sorry..." Twilight looked down, "But I really need to get out of this place before my friends will worry over--" She was cut off by a voice that called out her name, "Twilight!" Twilight quickly turned back and her eyes were greeted by a familiar stallion. She backed up, fear ran over her. Shining Armor was smiling at her as he runs towards her. She hesitantly looked away as she started to cry without her noticing until she saw her tears drop from the tip of her nose. Nightfall saw Twilight's reaction seeing this stallion that had called out her name. She scanned him from afar and she lightened up to see him. She was about to run towards him but given to Twilight's reaction, her body moved differently. She stood in front of Twilight and extended her wings as she shot a glare at Shining which sent shivers down his Spine. Shining Armor stopped when he was meters away from his little sister. His eyes widen to see her protector, "N-Nightfall?" He backed up. His voice wasn't it's original, he had a husky voice like he had been crying and been beaten up badly. She dismayed her thoughts and focused on protecting Twilight. "What have you done to Twilight this time, Shining Armor!" She shouted at him, grabbing the attention of Twilight making her curious and listen to their conversation. Nightfall took a step forward then another, now she was only a few inches away from punching Shining in the face. Shining Armor only stared at Nightfall. He had called her name but it seems like she did not hear him say it. His tears started to form again as it started to stream down his face. He wanted to hug her but can't, he thought that this was some illusion Luna had brought for him, "Luna if you're making me dream my dead sister for what I have done to Twilight, Stop!!" He shouted at the top of his lungs with anger. He looked down as tears started to drip from his chin, "Please... stop... Nightfall..." Nightfall and Twilight's eyes were as wide as dinner plates after he said about Nightfall being their sister and her being dead? Twilight was the one who is really confused now, first, a pony claimed to be her sister which she had no recollection whatsoever. "What do you mean I'm dead?!" "What do you mean by Sister?!" Both shouted in unison, confusing each other and Shining Armor. He looked up and saw the confusion present on both eyes as they stare at each other in shock, "Just like the old times..." He said under his breath. He cleared his throat and wiped his tears away making him look presentable which caught the two's attention, "Twilight... Nightfall's our sister... remember..? She died when she saved you from the train... remember..?" And with that, a figure appeared right next to the siblings. A golden shining little filly appeared. She had no eyes and its light was bright but was not that bright that can't be seen and cannot hurt one's eyes. She looked around the room and then rested her eyes on the siblings all faces soaked in tears. She smiled at them warmingly, "I see you guys are having a little get together," Her voice was deep and vibrated in a million octaves. The filly sighed, "Well, I guess you all are here... Let me show you what you're looking for..." And with that, the four disappeared in the void with a flash of golden energy. And the vision started to play. ~~~ "Father! Father!" Nightfall whispered as she jumped up and down at her father's bed slowly waking him up. She stopped jumping when she heard her father groan in annoyance, she checked if her father's eyes were wide awake. She smiled when she checked, she saw the aura of her father's red eyes and was satisfied with what she had seen. The pony sat up as he rubs the sleep off of his eyes, "What is it, Nightfall?" He looked at his side to check what time it was, "What is it so important that you woke me up at four?" He looked at his daughter with a deadpan face. A pony beside her father groaned and then sat up, "Keep it down, Dear." She looked at her husband, eyes closed and yawned, "I can't sleep," She blinked a couple of times clearing her vision and when it did, she did not stare at her husband but stared at the filly sitting right next to her husband, "Nightfall? Where are your siblings?" "Asleep." "Why are you awake at..." She glanced at the clock, "4:43?!" She exclaimed, shock. "I-I just wanted to make sure if we are still going to continue our trip?" She asked them with a tint of hope in her eyes. Her eyes shifted from her mother to her father. The two grown-ups looked at each other with deadpan faces. They communicated with each other by scanning through their eyes. They had stared at each other for a minute or two before they turned back at their daughter who was still looking, no, begging at them. The mare sighed, "Of course we are," She said with love in her voice as she looked at her daughter motherly. She offered Nightfall to cuddle with her by opening her right hoof, which Nightfall happily accepted. She snuggled close with her mother as she was caressed on her back and relaxed, "Why would you think we would cancel our trip?" "Just a hunch..." She said with a yan. The mare stared at her daughter with shock. She looked up to her husband to see the same expression. Tears were starting form from the corner of her eyes as she stared at her husband. The stallion climbed off of their bed and walked to the mirror, "Sombra..." The wife called, "No... don't do anything... please..." "I-I'm... just going to check it." He hissed the last word like it was some kind of venom. He slowly walked to the mirror, hooves were shaking as he got closer and closer to the mirror. He could feel the weight of the earth trying to bring him down before he got to the mirror. He looked at himself and stared. Sweat formed on his face as he started to activate something inside of him. Something that was rotten. Something that he locked away for years. Something that kept him away from his family. He took a quick glance at his wife before activating. The house flooded with dark matter. Sombra looked at himself, he saw the monster he once was smiling at him with a devilish grin on its face. Half of his body was engulfed with dark matter and what seems the other side of him. He took his right hoof and touched the mirror, tears running down from his eyes. He snapped back to reality to hear a voice coming from behind him. "Father..?" He turned around. The filly didn't flinch as she examined her father more as he turned his attention to her fully. She took a step closer as Sombra took a step back. His mind and heart started to rise as he felt his other side trying to charge at his daughter and probably kill her. He took another step back to prevent the thing to go anywhere near her, "T-Twilight! No! Don't come any closer!" "N-no..." Twilight replied. "Twilight, don't take another step! Listen to your Father!" Her mother said to her. She saw that Nightfall was inside her wing as she watched her sister took another step closer, "Twilight, your father can't control his other side! Don't go any closer!" Her mother pleaded her to stop walking towards Sombra. Twilight ran towards her father. Her mother quickly teleported to her as Nightfall ran to her sister. The time slowed down for Sombra as he watched his daughter run at her with tears in her eyes. He felt his heart tightened as he recalled a memory in which Twilight learned to run for the very first time and it was not at her mother but it was at him, his daughter ran at him for the very first time. He cried and cried as Twilight got closer. He could not hold back is other half any longer when Twilight was approaching fast. He saw his wife teleported right next to Twilight and grabbed her with her wings, but unfortunately Twilight dodged it and ran faster to her father. Her sister did her best to stop Twilight but she too was not successful. Twilight jumped to her father and everypony closed their eyes. A few moments have passed and the silence was still inside the room. They did not want to look at the corpse lying on the floor, they did not want to see the dead body of a family member. Then they heard it. Their eyes shot open when they heard Sombra's cry. They both looked at the direction and stared for a couple of seconds. Twilight was glowing? Twilight was hugging Sombra and Sombra hugging her back. They both shared their moments before opening each other's eyes. Twilight hugged her father again but tighter, "It's gone!" She shouted. The light surrounding her slowly dimmed as she wailed on her father's shoulder. "Twilight... H-how did you do that..?" ~A little Later~ "Only bring those you needed the most! We don't want to bring a dozen of bags with all of your toys inside!" Their mother called from downstairs as she was too preparing for their trip. She walked inside their living room levitating a bag with a galactic design imprinted on it. She placed it down on the coffee table in front of Sombra. She checked if her husband is doing the thing she asked him to do and smiled warmly at the stallion. She pecked the stallion's cheek as a reward for his behavior and walked upstairs to check on the girls. She sighed when she saw the mess these two had caused. She quickly levitated and teleported most of the toys before those two hurt each other. She saw the twins toppling each other as they exited their bedroom with Nightfall on top and gave Twilight a raspberry spitting her saliva all over Twilight. Twilight disgust and pushed her sister letting the action do its thing as they rolled together until they stopped with Twilight on top. Their mother cleared her throat which sent shivers down both of their spines. The two slowly looked at the mare standing tall over the two. They quickly stood up and fixed themselves before saying sorry, and they all did those things in unison that made their mother chuckle under her breath. "What did they do this time?" A voice made itself noticed coming from behind the girls. "Shining Armor!" The two ran at their big brother and tackled him. "Nice of you to wake up, son," The mare said as she watched her children tussle over each other. "Stellar! We're ready to go! Is Shining Armor awake?!" Sobra called downstairs as he set the bags down to his back and placed wore a cap that said 'Best Dad Ever'. "Yes, Honey! We'll be down in a minute!" She called back. She looked back at her children and saw that they had already gone back to their room and get their bags. She saw how Twilight and Nightfall raced downstairs and saw her son teleport down which the girls didn't appreciate him doing. She sighed and headed downstairs, This family is full of surprises... She thought. ~~~ Twilight shot up in her bed panting and sweating. Her eyes were red from dryness. She looked around the room to find water for her to drink but found none. She felt somepony coming inside the room. She stood on top of the bed and prepared a spell. The figure walked inside the room and then she cast a powerful fireball in that direction. She saw the figure fly up and she cast another fireball then stopped when she heard a familiar husky voice. "What the hay, Twilight!" Rainbow Dash appeared behind Twilight and tackled her. She was now on top her the alicorn, "You could've burnt me to death, Egghead!" She said as tears were streaming from her eyes. Twilight's expression changed, "Rainbow..?" "Yes, this is Rainbow Dash! Element of Loyalty!" Her voice was shaking. Not in fear, but in sadness? What? Twilight gave her a puzzled then worried look as she examined her crying friend, "You're awake..." She whispered under her breath as the tears started to drip on Twilight's face. She sat beside the alicorn and Twilight followed. "Rainbow? What's wrong?" Rainbow looked at the alicorn and then climbed down as she wiped her tears away, "N-nothing..." She said as she walked outside of the room, "Get some rest..." She took a moment a cocky grin spread to her face, "Egghead." > Day 2 | Part 1 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 'It was all a dream..?' Twilight asked herself as she scanned her hooves. She could feel every inch of her body shaking, her sweat rolling from her forehead. She was breathing heavily like she had lost a massive amount of oxygen in her body. She could still feel the weight of everything around her, ever since she woke up this heavy feeling in her gut has been bringing her down. She groaned as she covered her eyes with her hooves, 'How could it be a dream if it felt...' she thought for a moment and removed her hooves from her face as her expression changed, 'real...'. She heard hoofsteps coming from her door. She prepared to cast a low fireball, she did not know why she was putting her guard up. It's either going to be her number one assistant or her friends coming inside, yet her senses are fighting back with her as if they were spooked. She could feel the world and time slowed down, the same feeling she felt when Rainbow entered the room earlier. She watched as the knob slowly rotated clockwise and the door slowly opening. She did was hesitant to fire the spell, she did not want to hurt her friends if they were at the other side yet her senses weren't thinking that way and demanded her body to cast the fireball when she saw an opening. She did. The fireball was supposed to be low yet her senses screamed at her that she did not have control over her spell. She let out a massive blue ball of fire towards the door, she heard the door swinging open as if the figure had realised what was coming at it. Twilight closed her eyes. ~~~ Spike grabbed the knob hands shaking, 'Be careful, Spike. Rainbow said that she was jumpy so you gotta open the door slowly,' he breathed out and slowly pushing the door forward. A blue ball was coming right at him at top speed. His eyes widen causing him to react with his own instinct by slamming the doors wide open and breathed with all his might. He flicked a switch inside him yet he hesitated to fire, he scanned the ball again and flicked another witch inside of him. He blew out his fire. Except for the normal green flame, this was a little odd; it was a gradient from red to blue and white moreover if a dragon's fire is hotter than lava this one was as cold as the north pole. The fireball froze as it made contact with his breath creating steam from the middle of the elements clashing. The fireball may be as hot as lava but Spike's breath was as cold as winter that made the ball's exterior shrink and interior pure obsidian. Spike's breath wasn't finished there, he quickly froze the small ball of obsidian making an ice blanket on top of the black orb making it look like an artifact from the museum. Spike examined his work and smiled, 'looks like a week's practice paid off,' he thought as he wiped the sweat the had formed on his forehead. The room itself wasn't frozen, his breath had focused on the ball and the ball only though his last act had made the crystal floor's shine a little hazy. He looked over to his sister and walked slowly towards the alicorn to prevent another spell coming at him. He extended his wings and carefully poked the alicorn on the top of her muzzle grabbing her attention. Twilight knew this contact and slowly opened her eyes. Her vision was a little fuzzy at first but she could still make out what and who the figure was. She quickly tackled her number one assistant by the neck and hugged him tightly, "Oh my Celestia! Spike!" She called out, "I'm so so so so so so sorry! My senses grew better than me!" Spike placed an arm over her returning the hug, "It's alright, Twilight I know how that feels after waking up after a nightmare," The distant memory was still not forgotten after many years had passed, "Plus I have a new souvenir!" He showed her the ball of obsidian wrapped around in ice. Twilight broke their embrace to examine the ball. She levitated the orb in front of her, "This is beautiful, Spike!" She exclaimed and turned to her brother with a grin, "I see the ice dragons have taught you well," She levitated the orb back to the dragon. Spike smiled sheepishly as he rubbed the back of his neck. It's true the ice dragons did teach him well, he not only mastered the ice breath but also few stunts by some dragon that was surprisingly the last of their ancient and most powerful bloodline of the ice dragons. He learned fast and easily by them even though there were struggles from time to time he still knew how to control and balance his nature. Twilight grunted. She placed a hoof on her chest hoping to stop the sudden tightening, the pain felt like her heart was being pinned by a dozen needles all at once. Spike quickly held the alicorn as soon as he heard the grunt, 'What the hay?' Spike proceeded to comfort the alicorn as he observed her hurt, "Twilight?!" He called out her name yet it seems like the pain was too much for her other senses to activate properly. He quickly opened the drawer near the table and grabbed a quill and ink. He opened the cork and dipped the quill as his tail opened the bottom drawer and grabbed an empty scroll. His writing was quick and almost seemed like he was drawing something. As he was done with his six-worded sentence he breathed in. He turned on one switch inside of him that made sure to copy the parchment into five different letters for five different creatures. And he breathed out his signature lime flame. Twilight screamed in agony. ~~~ Pinkie Pie carefully sat down a tray of milkshakes. She smiled at her costumers, "Anything else you lovebirds want?" She stared at them mischievously like she was about to eat the couple, her eyebrows wiggling. The couple had already experienced this type of conversation from the cotton candy mare and simply blushed. "No thanks, Pinkie. This will be enough for the both of us," She said as she held his hoof and laid her head on his shoulders. The stallion only smiled at her, "Maybe next time we'll order you banana Sunday. I heard it now has a sweet and unpredictable taste?" He said as he kissed the forehead of his beloved which made Pinkie let out a 'gnawww' with puppy dog eyes. She placed the tray on the table and bid them her goodbyes as she rollerskate-d back to the counter and into the kitchen. She gave Mr. and Mrs. Cake a happy salute when she rolls by, a part of her tongue exposed in a friendly way. Entering the cake-scented room, her smile widens when she saw her baby pet alligator promptly chomping a wooden ladle. She let out a delighted squeal and rolled closer to her pet, "Gummy!" she greeted with a soft pet then turned to the unfinished mix of bases, "How are the vanilla cupcake bases are going? Are they done yet?" Gummy blinks. Slowly. Accepting the answer as a yes, she grabbed the bowl in her grasp and rolled her way to the oven. She heard the alligator drop his ladle as soon as she closed the oven door. She wiped the sweat on her forehead and shook her head at her pet's inability to hold any equipment. "Seriously, Gummy. When are you gonna learn to— OH MY CELESTIA! IS THAT A PORTAL!" She gazed at the purple portal in shock, her eyeballs were practically out of her sockets by how much intent she stares. But nonetheless, she was impressed, though she doesn't know why. Gummy turned to her with a neutral expression. Too neutral. And he blinks again. More slowly, this time. Pinkie gasped dramatically, one hoof on her chest, appearing very offended at his imaginary choice of words, "Don't tell me that!" She hissed, "Just because there's a random portal appearing out of nowhere doesn't mean it's always my fault!" She crossed her hooves with a pout, "Just look at Fluttershy for example..." She grumbled. Gummy turned away. "Look! If you're going to give me that sass, then go and get your butt out of here!" She could feel the silent glare in his demeanour and she shudders. Groaning, she dragged her way to the portal ruffling her mane with one hoof, "Fine, I'll go." She glares at him, "But you have to finish those vanilla base chocolate syrup with blue and purple sprinkles before I get back. You just have to." And with that, the pink cottoned pony jumped in the mysterious portal with glee that she just cannonballed inside with a helmet that came out of nowhere. ~ Applejack hammered one last nail on the roof of the small dog house before she spit it out and smiled at it in content. Fluttershy had timidly asked her to build a shelter for one of the stray dogs she had found when she was coming back to her little cottage after she went to market place and bought some food for her animal friends. Applejack was happy to comply. She wiped the sweat off her forehead and gave the small beauty one last look before she turned a hoof and made her way to Fluttershy cottage. As she trotted though, she couldn't help but take in all the wonders that were held in Fluttershy's backyard. Diversity was one of the words Applejack could think of while she stared. The farmer gave the garden a fond roll of her eyes and trotted up the stairs. She tried her best to keep quiet as she knocked, "Hey, Fluttershy! I just finished up the dog house ya requested." She called softly. There was a muffled "Come in!" And that was enough to give Applejack the permission to go inside. She opened the door easily with one hoof and softly closed it behind her when she saw the sight in front of her. The white labrador was napping restlessly on the basket Fluttershy had provided as they waited for the house to finish. The sight was utterly adorable with how Fluttershy was cooing softly whenever the dog would whine. Applejack trotted at the two and accepted a glass full of water. She smiled, "Jeez, Fluts. Never knew that wild dog I saw earlier could be this vulnerable labra." She softly nudged Fluttershy's shoulder, "You really know how to work wonders..." Fluttershy smiled in appreciation at her friend, stroking the white, soft fur of the dog. Her hoof worked like magic and it immediately calmed the poor pup. Applejack placed the glass on the nearby table and wiped her lips with her hoof, "Anyways, I gotta go and help Apple Bloom with her homework 'bout quantum physics, or somethin' like that.." Fluttershy giggled and Applejack waved as she made her way outside the cottage. There was a jump in her walk. Seemingly happy that she could help at least one of her friends. She really felt guilty not knowing what the right words were to comfort Twilight, she just felt useless that day, but at least she could help her other friends hoping that that'll be enough to plunder her guilt. As of now, it was definitely working. A shriek echoed through the forest, birds around her flied up the sky. Applejack turned a hoof and ran towards Fluttershy's cottage without a second thought. She slammed the door open to find the canary pegasus on the corner of her house, shielding her trembling animals. Applejack was quick with her hooves and quickly got in between them, only to raise a brow in confusion when nothing came out of the portal. She looked over her shoulder, "Ya'llright?" She asked. The animals, together with Fluttershy nodded simultaneously. She turned back to the portal, "Nothin' seem to'b comin' outta it. Mind if we should check it out or somethin'?" Not knowing a situation is a dangerous thing. The two ponies knew it. Fluttershy strode towards her after murmuring soft reassurance to her friends, "I'm not so sure... maybe it could be a trap to lure us in..." Applejack huffed, "Yeah... I can think of a lot of ponies who'd want some revenge... but opening a portal in broad isn't somethin' I'd do. Especially since nopony ain't comin' out yet." "I guess you're ri– " A scream. Applejack and Fluttershy knew who that voice belonged and without further hesitation, they both jumped at the portal. > Day 2 | part 2 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rainbow grunts as she did another lap around the huge cloud just beside her house. With her speed, it didn't leave space for the gas to escape, just made it all mush and squeeze together. She was agitated, having almost cried in front of her best friend because she was worried made her flush in embarrassment and had led her to gather all of the clouds near her house. The once white puffy mush in the sky turned into a dark grey mess. She knew it'll explode any moment and droplets of water would burst out like wildfire but she didn't care. Actually, that was what she was doing right now. She blew out a breath as she wiped her forehead. She just stared at the cotton ball in the sky before she grinned widely and poked one hoof to the cloud. Chuckling when a few droplets escaped. This was going to be fun, she could feel it in her bones. Rainbow huffed before she flew at least a few feet away from the cloud. She did a stretches, her eyes fixated on the cloud in front of her before she took her stance. A cocky smirk plastered on her face. A streak of rainbow followed her way as she darted toward the cloud. She yelled out her anticipation as she got closer and closer, the adrenaline kicked in and she wasn't even afraid that she might get complaints from the nearby animals. She stiffened one hoof and placed it in front of her like a shield. But before anything, she came to an abrupt stop. A purple portal appeared in front of her. She panted and panted before the realisation dawned her. Her eyes widen, panic quickly flared inside of her. Purple. Portal. Mysterious Appearance. And then there was one word she dreaded the most. She quickly jumped in. Twilight. ~ Rarity sighed and gave up, limping her hooves on the sewing machine. It was kind of boring, working without her favourite assistant by her side. But then again, he had his practically sister to take care of which was one of the most understandable reasons why he couldn't attend today's, Tuesday Inspiration day. The fashionista climbed off her stool and made her way to the nearest drawer. She levitated her glasses on top of one of her cabinets and opened the drawer with her hoof. Thinking about using her magic for the second time already made her tired, she didn't know why but it did. It's like she get's magic block the same time she get's art block, it's so frustrating every time it happens. She bit down a scarf and wrapped it gracefully around her neck. Her next trek? Down stairs. Luckily for her, Sweetie Belle was sitting near one mannequin playing with her magic. She was giggling to herself as she swept the floor, her broom was twirling and spinning, though it seemed so child-like it was efficient. At that, Rarity could give a point. She trotted happily towards her younger sister, "How is my sister doing at this lovely afternoon?" Sweetie Belle jumped off her seat, her magical hold of the broom fading. She fell down the floor with a yelp followed by a loud thud. Rarity winced at the sight. "Are you alright?" She asks. The uncertainty and phantom pain clear in her voice. Sweetie rubbed her head and tried to send a glare towards her sister, "What was that for? Sneaking up to somepony while their doing their jobs." Rarity bowed slightly, "I am very sorry, Sweetie Belle. I was just having art block and was wondering if you're free this afternoon?" There was desperation behind her azure eyes, the kind where Sweetie Belle was weak. The filly groaned, but smiled nonetheless. It was rare for Rarity to have art block so she was happy to oblige when it comes to free time spending with her big sis. "Sure! I'm up for the challenge!" Shivers went down both their spines. Their attention was caught up at the sudden surge of magical aura behind Rarity. They quickly took their stance and waited for the teleportation spell to cast. The aura was dark and they weren't really sure if it can be trusted. They furrowed in confusion when a simple purple portal appeared in front of them. Rarity sent Sweetie a confused glance, only for the filly to shrug in response. This was definitely not what they expected. At all. Rarity expected a darker version of Twilight and Sweetie expected someone like Sombra to appear. Not a random portal. She resisted the urge to scoff. Was Pinkie Pie throwing one of her pranks again? If so, how in Equestria's mind did she manage to get magical residue that was so similar to Twilight's and Sombra's. "Pinkie Pie if you are behind this menace, I'll have you know that you'll get a long and firm lecture!" She yelled at the portal, expecting the fluffy mare to emerge out the side. Sweetie cleared her throat, "Uhh... I don't think that it's Pinkie's idea to summon a portal... even for her that's a little too much..." Rarity narrowed her eyes in suspicion, still waiting patiently. Only three seconds passed and she sighed in defeat and hung her head low. "Do you wanna check it out?" Rarity glanced at her sister, "Why do say that? For all we know some changeling will come out, or-or Sombra could be waiting from the other side. She shuddered at the mere thought of the dark king. Sweetie leaned on one side, "Then what do you propose to do?" "I'll go inside." Sweetie Belle face palmed. "Can you go check on Twilight and tell her about the situation? I can take it from here." Without another word, Sweetie nodded and ran off to the crystal castle. > OutLands > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "You're all here!" Night called out, gliding down the group of ponies. Immediately, all of them took their stance. The surroundings barely registered, they only knew they were teleported here –wherever here was– and now they were with their best friends, minus two of course. Nightfall smoothly landed and fluttered her wings, releasing some stress. She looked very worried for some reason and she couldn't help but check her surroundings. They were all cautious. All of them except Rainbow. The mare bolted between her friends and grabbed the unknown mare by the neck. She squeezed it tightly and pulled her up. This surprises Night, the speed of this pegasus didn't even catch her eye, just a rainbow blur and before she knew it, she was being held securely. There was an unknown intent behind Rainbow's eyes, "Where's Twilight..." She stated threateningly. The venom was dripping down her voice and Night couldn't help but be amused. There weren't that many creatures in the OutLands that knows how to threaten, too scared to face off one of the most powerful sorcerers in the lands. Those who did though, always seem to faze her like it was nothing. This was different. She actually shuddered under Rainbow's gaze. "Let me down..." She whispered. A yelp escaped her lips when Rainbow held her tighter and higher. She grunted, "Let me down! I know what's happening to Twilight! Shining–" "How do we know we can trust you?" Applejack took a step towards them, followed bravely by the others. Night grunted and tried to adjust in Rainbow's grip only to fail. "Because I'm not the one that teleported you all here. My father did." She said, "That itself is a very bad sign. Something is clearly wrong here..." "I still don't know if I could trust you..." Rainbow muttered as she dragged Night's attention back towards her and her strength to lift the girl up. "For all, we know you're just tricking us into believing that you know what's happening to Twi..." "I am not tricking you! The liquid Shining Armour injected on her is spreading! The changelings will get their way if we don't move now!" She shouted, her volume rises like it's the only thing that's going to convince the pegasus to let her go and actually let her help her own sister. Rainbow placed her back down, not because she completely trusts her, nope, it so far from that. She placed her down on the ground because there was something that ha caught her interest. She tilted her head to the side as a foal would in the middle of an awesome story, "What do you mean the changelings?" Night breathed heavily, catching her breath, "One of my friends in the pub... they said that there was a plan the queen wanted to do that involves around poisoning the newest princess..." She said in between pants. "Chrysalis? That meanie bug is behind bars! She couldn't make a plan that big." Pinkie commented, raising one hoof as a shrug. Night shook her head, "You don't get it. Changelings are able to make communication even without verbal cues, they send each other electromagnetic waves from their horns." Rarity opened her mouth for a question but Night already knew what was up, "They only speak verbally in order to trick equestrians that they only know communications through the means of speaking." "Ya sure do sound like Twilight." Applejack commented, rubbing the back of her head in confusion. In truth, what was on her mind was how the longer she stared at the mare the more she sees her alicorn friend on her. "That isn't the point. What was inside that poison." Rarity demanded, hoof hitting the dirt as an act of asserting and dominance. "I don't know yet... all I know is that it's from the changelings, my friend told me that they were ordered to do the deed by controlling the real Shining Armour." "But why?" Fluttershy asked, her face focused on the information given to her. Night looked up the night sky, brows scrunching as she ponders her words carefully. "It's likely due to not bringing any suspicion towards the changeling race." She said, "If it was discovered as a changeling that poisoned the princess, they will have Chrysalis' head." "Those are good points. So how do we help? And I have another question, where the buck are we?!" Rainbow yelled. Night looked around, then she giggled making one of Rainbow's eyebrow twitch. "This is your first time outside of Equestria, is it?" They all stared at her in shock, "Well everypony, Welcome to the OutLands where all the criminals and outcasts call home." Applejack shuddered, "This doesn't look that homey to me..." "Nor does it feel like it," Rarity added, inching closer to the farmer, seeking comfort from one of her closest friends. Night cleared her throat, "Alright, so if you guys want to save Twilight from the poison, I want you all to follow my directions. My friend told me that this poison involves..." ~ Night didn't get to finish her sentence because they all go cut off when a huge green flame lit up in the middle of their small little circle. Everyone took their stances for an upcoming attack, but it never really came. The things that did come were six scrolls that had Spike's emblem and Twilight's cutie mark embedded on the Siegel. They all instantly dropped their guard as soon as they saw the emblem. Rainbow dashed toward the nearest scroll and ripped the ribbon that held it together. She began reading the thing at lightning speed, her worry seen by the way her tail was twitching nervously. Night picked up one and shared reading the words of the letter with Pinkie Pie, the only one that doesn't seem to be afraid of her presence. As soon as everypony finished reading the letters, they were all eye widen in shock. Rainbow was the first one to break the silence, she appeared in front of Night in a snap of a hoof, looking into her eyes with worry that rivals a mother missing their foal. "Can you teleport us to the castle?" She murmured, her voice only audible to Night. The purple pony opened her mouth but closed it when she saw just how high Rainbow's worry seem to show. She closes her eyes and sighed, nodding her head slightly. The ponies around her started to circle her, one hoof at one part of her body. Her horn glowed as she focuses all her magic in teleporting at the beacon she set to her sister when she was still a young filly. The same beacon she remembers she used to teleport to whenever she had a bad dream. With a blue blink, all six of them disappeared.
