The Crystal Empire had changed so much over the past years. As the Crystal Empire changed so did its residents.
"Line up." Snowflake demand.
Everyone did as they were told. Expect for Ocellus.
"Never!" Ocellus said.
"Don't make me take more of your powers away." Larva said.
"Go ahead and take all of it!" Ocellus said.
"Celly, be careful," Smolder said.
"We need to fight for freedom." Ocellus said.
"I didn't want to do this but you leave me no other choice." Larva said.
"Give us another chance," Smolder said.
"Once your kids are born they will be sent to me." Larva said.
"Take them to the dungeon," Shuddercord said to some of the guards.
"Go to their home and get the eggs." Snowflake said to the unicorn guards closest to her.
The guards Shuddercord spoke to grabbed Smolder. They were trying to capture Ocellus but she kept transforming. The guard's Snowflake talked to went to their house.
"I got Ocellus." Larva said.
"Good luck sis," Shuddercord said.
Larva nodded before transforming.
"Be safe Celly," Smolder said.
Hours later Larva found Ocellus and transformed back into her normal form.
"Don't make me carrying you." Larva said.
"I'm not going." Ocellus said angrily.
"How much do you want your freedom?" Larva asked.
"A lot." Ocellus said.
"I could give it to you." Larva said.
"At what price?" Ocellus asked.
"Promise to write to me whenever you can." Larva said.
"What about my family?" Ocellus asked.
"What if I gave you two of your eggs?" Larva asked.
"What about the other two and my wife?" Ocellus asked.
"I will raise the other two like they are my own as for your wife I don't know." Larva said.
"Do you promise to keep them safe with your life?" Ocellus asked.
"Yes." Larva said.
"Then deal." Ocellus said.
Larva teleported two eggs to Ocellus who then levitated the eggs.
"Go." Larva said.
"I will never forget what you did for me. Thank you." Ocellus said.
"No problem." Larva said.
The two went their separate ways. Ocellus flew out of the Crystal Empire. Larva flew to the castle.
Larva was looking at the eggs when Stormy approached.
"Velvet made snacks for everyone," Stormy said.
"Can you bring it to me?" Larva asked.
"Sure," Stormy said before flying off.
"I will protect you from any harm." Larva said to the two eggs.
Stormy flew back and handed Larva a blueberry muffin.
"Here," Stormy said.
"Thank you." Larva said.
"No problem," Stormy said.
"Once these eggs hatch I want you to help me raise them." Larva said.
Stormy hovered in shock. She then went over to Larva and hugged her with her wings then nodded.
Cadence started out at the sky and remembered when she fell for Fluttershy. It had been a beautiful night in the garden during the Gala.
Years ago...

"I'm sure I don't know what you mean you forget yourself." Cadence sang.

"Is that so?" Cadence sang.
"I've never been satisfied." Fluttershy sang.
"You know who I am." Cadence sang.
"No one truly knows me." Fluttershy sang.
"Who are you then?" Cadence sang.
"Unimportant. There are a million things that I haven't done. Just you wait, just you wait." Fluttershy sang.
"The conversation lasted two minutes, maybe four minutes, Everything we said in total agreement, it's a dream and it's a bit of a dance, A bit of a posture, it's a bit of a stance, I asked about her who she really was, did you see her answer? Her hooves started fidgeting, she looked askance, She's engaged, and I’m already married,

"Where are you going luv?" Fluttershy asked.
"I'm going back inside," Cadence said.
"Then let me take you in," Fluttershy said.
"I'm a mare in a world, Where everything feels like its changing, And Fluttershy is secretive, That doesn't mean I want her any less." Cadence sang flying ahead of Fluttershy.
"It was a pleasure to be with you, your highness," Fluttershy said before kissing Cadences hoof then flying off to be with her fiance.
"I see her looking at me smiling slyly, And I try not to blush, Nice going Cadence, She was right you will ever be satisfied."
At Fluttershy and Discords wedding...

Cadence returned to the present. She looked up when she felt wings around her. Tears were rolling down her face.
Cadence looked at Fluttershy's eyes and noticed that they held more pain and loneliness then usual.
"What's wrong?" Fluttershy and Cadence asked in unison.
"Memories," Cadence said.
"It's not important," Fluttershy said letting go of Cadence and looking away.
"It's getting closer to the day her parents died," Rainbow said coming into the room.
"Oh," Cadence said.
"I wish I could've known them better." Fluttershy sniffed.
"Why don't you visit their graves?" Cadence asked.
"My sister never told me where they were," Fluttershy said before bursting into tears.
"We will help you look," Cadence said.
"Really?" Fluttershy asked.
"Of course," Cadence said.
"Thank you, this means so much to me," Fluttershy said crying tears of joy.
Sweetie Belle walked in looking at Fluttershy with her ice-cold eyes.
"I don't think so." Sweetie Belle said.
"You can't control my life!" Fluttershy yelled.
Sweetie Belle levaited Fluttershy by the neck. Her magic was the darkest green possible now.
"I raised you since we were very young and yet you still what our parents." Sweetie Belle yelled.
"You abused me," Fluttershy cried with warm tears rolling down her cheeks.
"Ma and pa died because they were trying to find a way to take away my powers. That's why they went on that trip." Sweetie Belle said.
Fluttershy stared at her sister in shock. Then Sweetie Belle dropped Fluttershy. Rainbow and Cadence flew to her side and helped her up.
"What?" Fluttershy finally managed to ask.
"They died because they were stupid enough to think they could find a way to take away my powers or that I would even allow them to do so." Sweetie Belle said.
"I just want to see their graves once so I can finally let them go," Fluttershy said.
"Never!" Sweetie Belle yelled.
"You denied me friends, romantic relationships. The least you can do is give me this." Fluttershy said.
"Not a chance." Sweetie Belle said.
"Please, I can't go on like this," Fluttershy said.
"Yes, you can." Sweetie Belle said.
Fluttershy looked at her sister's eyes and saw actual happiness crawling in. Cadence put one wing around Fluttershy.
"Stop trying to ruin her life," Rainbow said.
"I'm doing what's best for Equestria and maybe even the entire world." Sweetie Belle said.
"You need to learn that power isn't everything. You can't keep changing what's meant to be." Rainbow said.
"I came here to tell you that your lives are about to change." Sweetie Belle said.
"What are you talking about?" Fluttershy asked.
As if on cue Shining Armor appeared. Sweetie Belle just smiled when she saw the reactions.
"Looks like my job here is done." Sweetie Belle said before teleporting away.
"Hello, Cadence." Shining Armor said.
"So my sister decides he can come back to life but not our patents," Fluttershy said.
"I've been waiting a long time." Shining Armor said walking closer to Cadence.
"This isn't going to end well," Rainbow said to herself.
Shining Armor put Fluttershy in ropes and walked over to Cadence. Rainbow saw this and tried her best to help her friends but Shining Armor made her fly very slow.
"I have a gift for you." Shining Armor said before kissing Cadence lips.
Fluttershy tried to escape but the ropes got tighter. Tears started to fall down her face.
"I think we know why he was brought back to life now," Rainbow said slowly.
"Yep," Fluttershy said.
"You are beautiful my princess." Shining Armor said.
Rainbow noticed that Shining Armor was wearing a glowing necklace.
"He's under a spell," Rainbow said slowly in realization.
"Stop this please I know the real you is still in there, " Cadence said starting to cry.
Shining Armor got closer and kissed her again this time well looking directly at Fluttershy.
"I love you Candy Heart," Fluttershy said with tears rolling down her face.
"You will forever be mine." Shining Armor whisper into Cadence's ear.
"Stop this," Cadence said trying to light her horn but it wouldn't work.
"You can't hurt me because deep down you still love me." Shining Armor said.
Cadence looked at Shining Armor and tried to blast at him but there was barely even a spark. Shining Armor pushed Cadence to the ground when Rainbow finally got there she hit him causing him to fall and turn into dust. At least that was what it looked like.
"They are so adorable," Rainy said looking at her newborn daughters in her wife's hooves.
"Pinkamena the third," Mia said looking done at the pink newborn opening her eyes.
"Blueberry," Rainy said looking at the blue pegasus.
A little later...
"Which ones are they?!" Pinkie demanded, eagerly pressing her face against the window.
"The pink earth and the blue pegasus next to her." Nurse Redheart said.
"Oh, that makes sense." Pinkie said looking at her granddaughters.
"They are so cute. You're both going to be amazing grandmas." Cloudy Quartz said looking at her daughter and daughter in law.
"You can probably guess the little pink one's name," Rainy said flying to her friends and family.
"Yep. What's the other's name?" Pinkie asked.
"Blueberry," Rainy said.
Blueberry opened her eyes and looked around. She titled her head when she saw the larger ponies.
She turned her head when her sister started crying. She wanted her to stop crying and a pacifier suddenly appeared in the earth ponies mouth along with a blanket next to it. The ponies gasped.
"How?" Dawn Pie asked.
"I don't know," Twilight said.
A couple of months later they found out that Blueberry just inherited unicorn/ alicorn magic from Mia's family.
The twins enjoyed playing with Pumpkin and Flurrys daughter who was about two years older than them. Her name was Jasmine Carol.
When Surprise and Pupa's daughter was born they were surprised to see they had twins. They named one Watermelon since they already had that name picked out.
"What should we name her?" Surprise asked looking down at the other one.
"What about Yarrow?" Pupa asked.
"It's perfect." Surprise said.
"What lovely little fillies you got there." Sweetie Belle said.
Sweetie Belle lifted up Yarrow and pulled her close to her.
"Give her back." Pupa said lighting her horn.
Sweetie Belle vanished with Yarrow. Leaving an angry Pupa, a surprised Surprise, and a crying Watermelon.
Sweetie Belle also foalnapped Blueberry. Which caused Pinkamena the third to rarely ever be happy.
Derpy decided that Equestria needed a queen so she held a coronation for Luna. It was the first coronation in Equestria in thousands of years. Luna wanted her mom to be the queen. Derpy shook her head and promised her that she would be there for her.
Luna's coronation dress was blue and white. Ruby had made a crown and necklace as well as some shoes with beautiful crystals.
It was the day of the coronation and Luna was freaking out. It took Roxy, Pupa, Twilight, and Flurry to get Luna to the balcony.
Luna squeezed her mom's hoof turning it purple. Luna loosened her grip when she saw it.
"It will be fine," Derpy said.
Twilight walked up to them and smiled. Then they heard the birds start to chirp.
"It's time," Twilight said.
Luna stared down at her subjects then turned to see her family and friends. She then flew away as fast as she could.
Everyone was silent and stared at one another.
"I will go check on her," Derpy said.
Derpy flew to Luna's room and saw her crying into her pillow. Luna looked up and wiped away her tears.
"I'm not ready for this. I know we've been planning for months but I can't do this." Luna said.
"Lullaby, I know it may seem scary but Equestria needs you," Derpy said.
"Can't I stay a princess?" Luna asked.
Derpy looked at her daughter and hugged her.
"Let's go tell everyone," Derpy said.
They walked out of Luna's room. Derpy had one wing around Luna and they walked to the balcony.
"Sorry everyone but I believe I need more time," Luna said.
Everyone understood and went their separate ways.
"Aves and I are engaged." Dawn Pie announced putting her fork down looking at her family.
"Congratulations," Mia said.
Party Lights gave a fake smile. Dawn Pie noticed her a fake smile.
"What's wrong?" Dawn Pie asked.
"Nothing." Party Lights said.
Dawn Pie saw the look of loneliness in Party Lights' eyes.
"You will never be alone." Dawn Pie said.
"Promise?" Party Lights asked.
"Cross my heart, hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye." Dawn Pie said.
The Pie siblings shared a group hug. After they let go Dawn pie threw up.
"Are you alright?" Party Lights asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Dawn Pie said.
"Are you sure?" Party Lights asked.
"Positive." Dawn Pie said.
"I want to ask Concord out." Dusk Shine said.
"You should do it before it's too late," Robert said.
"How do I ask her out?" Dusk Shine asked.
"Just ask her and be yourself." Robert and Dawn Pie said in unison.
"Bake her something she likes with the question will you go out with new on it." Mia and Surprise said in unison.
"Do you have any suggestions?" Dusk Shine asked looking at Party Lights.
"Nope sorry." Party Lights said.
"I guess I can write a poem to ask her out." Dusk Shine said.
"Go for it." Dawn Pie said.
Dusk Shine flew away to start writing the poem.
"Dawn, it's time to go," Twilight said.
"Coming." Dawn Pie said.
"Good luck with your speech," Robert said.
"Thanks." Dawn Pie said.
"This is the most important speech you have ever given." Surprise said.
Dawn Pie levitated her bags and smiled at her siblings.
"I better go. I will need a lot of practice but I know I can do this." Dawn Pie said.
"It's hard to believe that there was a time when you wouldn't have made these types of speeches," Mia said.
"Goodbye." Dawn Pie said.
"Why do you make the speeches?" Party Lights asked.
The question surprised everyone.
"It's my destiny." Dawn Pie said.
"You've been doing this for years and you still don't have your cutie mark. How do you know for sure this is your density?" Party Lights asked.
The question surprised everyone. Robert walked over to Dawn Pie.
"We will see you when you give the speech," Robert said.
Dawn Pie left the room and went to Canterlot for the speech with Twilight.
Dawn Pies' family and fiance sat in the first row.
"I never imagined myself making friends or falling in love but once I accepted the idea of friendship everything changed. If it wasn't for a certain event that almost ended my sister Party Light's life I would still hate friendship. But now, on a day like today, I can honestly say I wouldn't be standing here if it weren't for the friendships I've made with all of you. Each one of you taught me something about friendship, and for that, I will always be grateful. Today, I consider myself the luckiest creature in Equestria. Thank you, friends, thank you, everyone." Dawn Pie said.
Pinkie and Twilight cried tears of joy. Robert and Party Lights got soaking wet from the tears.
A light blue pegasus with a brown mane in a bun flew up to Dawn Pie.
"Here." the pegasus said handing her two scrolls before flying off. Though only one was notable.
Everyone went there separate ways. The Pie family, the Sparkle family, and Aves went to Dawn Pie.
"What's that?" Mia asked.
"I don't know." Dawn Pie said.
"Look at your flank." Pinkie said trying not to cry.
Dawn Pie looked at her flank and saw an orange heart with a yellow swirl of magic.
"Told you it was my density." Dawn Pie said.
"Congratulations." Party Lights said.
"We are going to throw you a cute ceañera as soon as we get home," Mia said.
"I don't doubt it." Dawn Pie said.
"What do you think your cutie mark will be?" Mia asked Flurry.
"I don't know." Flurry said.
"You will get your cutie mark someday. Don't worry." Pinkie said.
"There has never been a pony not to receive a cutie mark," Twilight said.
"Maybe Pumpkin and I will be the first." Flurry said.
"You aren't giving up." Dawn Pie said.
Dawn Pie threw up. Party Lights walked over to her sister with a worried expression.
"We need to take you to the doctors." Party Lights said.
After the doctors, Dawn Pie told her family that she was pregnant with twins.
"That's awesome," Aves said.
"Unless one or both of them get foalnapped." Party Lights said.
"Let's think positively," Mia said.
"I'm sure they won't be foalnapped." Surprise said.
"What does that scroll you got to say?" Mia asked.
Dawn opened the scroll and read it before dropping it.
"What is it?" Robert asked.
"I was asked to share my experiences at Diamond Tiara's school." Dawn Pie said.
"That's amazing. You love sharing your experiences." Dusk Shine said.
"You love inspiring others. You should do it." Mia said.
"I will." Dawn Pie said.
"I don't know. Something doesn't seem right." Party Lights said.
"What do you mean?" Robert asked.
"That doesn't look like Mrs. Riches hoofwrighting." Party Lights said.
"So? Who said she wrote it?" Mia asked.
"I can't shake the feeling that somethings wrong." Party Lights said.
"It looks like there's another scroll." Dusk Shine said.
Dawn Pie looked at the scroll and screamed in joy.
"What is it?" Party Lights asked.
"Nebula and Sunshine are coming with aunts Sunset and Starlight." Dawn Pie said.
Later Dusk Shine flew to Cloudsdale to ask Concord out.
"C is for the colors you spread in my life O is for otherworldly I feel with you around N is for no one can ever replace you C is for cannot be without you O is for oh how the lovely moon reminds me of you R is for reasons unknown made me fall for you D is for do be with me forever." Dusk Shine said.
"That was so cheesy but I love you anyway. Of course, I'll go out with you." Concord said.
"Come inside before the food gets cold or else I'll make you fly four hundred laps. Your boyfriend can join us." Spitfire called.
"Coming mom," Concord said before flying in with Dusk Shine.
Later in Ponyville...
"Congratulations on getting your cutie mark." Pound said.
"Thanks." Dawn Pie said.
"You should open a friendship school someday," Twilight said.
"Didn't yours blow up?" Dawn Pie asked.
"Yes, but I'm sure yours won't," Twilight said.
"I will think about it." Dawn Pie said.
"I heard the news. What do you want your wedding cake to look like?" Prism asked.
"I don't know yet." Dawn Pie said.
"Let me know when you do." Prism said.
"I will." Dawn Pie said.
"You really take after auntie Twilight," Mauxie said.
"It's nice to see you again." Dawn Pie said.
"Dawn?" Limestone asked.
"Who are you?" Dawn Pie asked.
"I'm one of your aunts." Limestone said.
"You actually came!" Pinkie screamed running to Limestone with Maud and Twilight behind her.
"Dawn, Mauxie, this is your aunt Limestone," Twilight said.
The three Pie sisters shared a big hug.
"Now all we need to Marble." Pinkie said.
"I wonder where she is," Maud said.
"Same." Limestone and Pinkie said in unison. The three sisters continued to hug each other.
In the Crystal Empire...
Marble looked at pictures of her and her sisters and threw it causing it to shatter.
Elsewhere in the castle.....
"Hello." Shining Armor said.
"What are you doing here?" Cadence asked.
"You can't get rid of me." Shining Armor said.
Rainbow came in with a can of pepper spray and spared it in Shining Armors' eyes.
"I don't think that worked," Cadence said seeing Shining Armor coming closer towards her.
"Nothing can keep me away from my princess." Shining Armor said before kissing her lips.
"Stop it," Cadence said pulling away and trying to cast a spell.
Fluttershy flew in and kicked Shining Armor before grabbing Cadence and Rainbow. She flew up to Cadences' room. The three of them sat down.
"What are we going to do?" Rainbow asked.
"I don't know," Cadence said.
"You can't hide from me, dear." Shining Armor said.
Shining Armor walked up to Cadence and lifted up her head.
"Don't touch her," Fluttershy said slapping Shining Armors hooves away from Cadence.
Cadence tried to light her horn but it barely even sparked.
"Go away Shining! I don't love you. You need to move on." Cadence said.
"Never." Shining Armor said levitating Cadence towards him.
"You can't force someone to love you," Fluttershy said.
"I'm not leaving until Cadence is mine." Shining Armor said.
Cadence looked Shining Armor in the eyes and tried to focus on casting a spell. The magic flicker before disappearing.
"Why?" Cadence asked.
"Because I love you." Shining Armor said.
Shining Armor kissed Cadence's lips. Cadence tried to pull away but Shining won't let her.
"So gross," Rainbow said.
"Get off of her!" Fluttershy yelled.
Shining Armor pushed Fluttershy to the balcony without looking. Fluttershy feels on one of her wings.
"I know a part of you likes this." Shining Armor said pulling away and touching one of her cheeks before rubbing himself against her wings.
"Stop this! I don't love you like that!" Cadence said.
Sweetie Belle appeared the tip of her horn was crack a little.
"Shining go back to the cave." Sweetie Belle said.
The necklace around Shining Armor's neck glowed and did as he was told.
"You shouldn't be controlling him," Rainbow said.
"I'm not controlling him. He just chooses to follow my directions." Sweetie Belle said.
"Then why does he have a necklace and why did it glow," Rainbow asked.
"The necklace keeps him alive and it glowed because of the lighting." Sweetie Belle said.
Rainbow looked at where the sun was shining.
"Oh," Rainbow said.
Sweetie Belle teleported to the cave and started to cook some of her magic.
Shining Armor came up behind her.
"Careful, I don't think you want burnt food." Sweetie Belle said.
"Smells good." Shining Armor said letting go of Sweetie Belle.
"It's the same as always." Sweetie Belle said bluntly.
"It still smells delicious." Shining Armor said.
Sweetie Belle levitated some magic to the sample.
"It's ready." Sweetie Belle said.
Shining Armor summoned two bowls for them. Sweetie Belle put the magic in the bowls and they sipped it.
"You're amazing." Shining Armor said.
"Thank you." Sweetie Belle said.
"No thank you. I really appreciate all that you have done." Shining Armor said.
Shining Armor lead against Sweetie Belle then he hugged her.
Pinkamena the third went by Mina. She walked slowly behind her cousin Watermelon. Today was their first day of kindergarten and either of their parents could take them
"I'm so excited!" Watermelon said as they walked closer to the school.
"C-c-c-can w-w-w-we g-g-g-go i-i-i-inside?" Mina stuttered.
"Not yet." Watermelon said.
Four pegasi came flying down which scared Mia and made her try to run away but Watermelon stopped her.
"Hey, where are your parents?" Posey asked.
"Work." Watermelon said.
"Mina, you will have Belladonna and Wisteria in your class," Petula said bending down to Mina's eye level.
Wisteria was a purple pegasus with a lavender mane and blue eyes. Belladonna was a yellow pegasus with a dark purple mane and green eyes.
Mina didn't meet Petulas eyes and looked at the rainy sky.
"Slow down! My sister will have my head if something happened to either of you." a silver mare said running after two earth pony fillies.
"Sorry auntie Sterling." the two fillies said in unison.
"It's alright. Be good." Sterling said.
The school bell rang and all the foals went inside. Mina went to the back corner farthest from anypony.
"The desks will have your name on it," Cheerliee said.
"Mina, fine your seat." Watermelon said.
Mina looked at the ground. Cheerliee walked over to them.
"Please take your seats," Cheerliee said.
"Can she sit near someone she knows?" Watermelon asked.
"I tried my best," Cheerliee said.
"Who is she going to be next to?" Watermelon asked.
"Pandora will be on her right and you will be in the row in front of her," Cheerliee said.
“Who will be on her left?” Watermelon asked.
"On her left will be a donkey named Hilda," Cheerliee said.
"It will be alright." Watermelon said to Mina
Mina and Watermelon walked to their seats.
"Introduce yourself to the creature next to you," Cheerliee said.
"Hi, my name is Hilda. What's yours?" Hilda asked.
"Mina, it's short for Pinkamena the third," Mina said.
"It's nice to meet you," Hilda said.
"Now it is time to introduce yourself to the class you need to say your name and tell us something about yourself," Cheerliee said.
"My name is Gala and my mom is a famous mane stylist," Gala said.
"My name is Watermelon and I'm going to be a future chef. Just you wait." Watermelon said spreading out her wings.
"My name is Mollie and I love baking apple pies," Mollie said.
"My name is Hilda and I don't know what to say except I live with a foster mom," Hilda said.
"M-m-m-my n-n-n-name i-i-i-is M-m-m-mina a-a-a-and I'm t-t-t-terrified o-o-o-of..." Mina started.
There were a few giggles,.
"Go on," Cherrilee said in a low voice.
"M-m-m-my s-s-s-sister w-w-w-was st-stolen s-s-s-so I h-h-h-have s-s-s-some t-t-t-trust i-i-i-issues." Mina said before sitting down.
"My name is Pandora and I'm a granddaughter of Discord," Pandora said.
Some creatures looked a little scared but it only lasted four seconds.
Mina had her head on the table when she heard the fillies behind her whisper.
"Why does our cousin have to be such a scary cat?"
"She should get over Blue Blossom or whatever her name was. She wears the blanket that pony gave her around her neck. It's stupid."
Mina held part of the blanket her hooves. Hilda saw it and turned around to face the two ponies.
"Be nice. That's no way to treat family." Hilda said.
"What do you know about family?!"
"More than you!" Hilda yelled starting to cry.
"Hilda!"
Hilda turned around to face the teacher and looked sorry. Warm tears were rolling down her face.
"What's going on?" Cheerilee asked.
"They were saying mean things about Mina and said that I knew nothing about family," Hilda said trying to wiping away her tears.
"Is this true Nyx?" Cherrliee asked.
"We were only saying that Mina should get over her sister. I mean how can you miss someone you barely knew?" Nyx asked.
"You're a granddaughter of the princess of friendship who made a friendship school before it burned done. Your mom gives friendship speeches and opened a friendship school. I expected better." Cherrliee said.
Later at recess...
"Let's go play hide and seek," Pandora said.
"All of you can go ahead. I'll walk with Mina." Hilda said.
Pandora along with her friends followed the other students. Hilda moved to the tree closest to where everyone was with Mina. They frowned when they saw it was Nyx and her twin sister Hermta who made the announcement.
"Sorry but you have to be fully pony to play," Nyx said.
"But you're a half pony." Watermelon said.
"No, we're not. Just because our dad is a non-pony doesn't mean we're half ponies like he is." Hermta said.
"You're both seventy-five percent pony since your dad is half-pony," Pandora said.
"You're a freak just like Dotty and you're a nerd," Nyx said.
"Neither of them are freaks," Hilda said.
"No one cares about someone like you. No matter what you will always be alone with no one to care about you. You will always be an orphan. You will never have a real family." Nyx said.
Mina glanced at Hilda, who was on the verge of tears. Hilda may be an orphan but she's loved.
Nyx made Mina so mad she just wished the sky would come crashing down on her! The students looked up as a dark shadow covered them and screamed when they saw an organ hurdling directly towards Nyx. They all scattered out of the way. Mina managed to grab Hilda before the instrument hit the ground, smashing into pieces.
As soon as she heard the crash, Cheerilee rushed out and sighed at the sight of the broken organ. She looked around and saw Mina, who had a mix of guilty and horrified look on her face.
Mia knew something was up when her daughter did not come out of the building immediately. Hilda then explained that Cheerilee had kept Mina after class. Not knowing what to expect, Mia entered the classroom. Cheerilee was sitting expectedly at her desk, Mina sat on a stool in the corner. As soon as she saw her mom, she faced the wall in shame.
"Hello Mia," Cherrliee said.
"Hi, what happened?" Mia asked
"Well.... how do I put this? An organ dropped from the sky." Cheerilee said.
"An organ?" Mia asked in shock.
"Yes, and I already checked there were no moving or mail carts in the sky at that moment," Cherrliee said.
"You think Mina could've done it?" Mia asked.
Cheerilee looked to the filly in the corner. "Well, Mina?"
"I didn't mean to!" she insisted. "They were making fun of Hilda! I didn't want it to happen! I don't even know how it happened! They made me so mad!" Mina said without stuttering which surprised Mia.
"Honey, it's good you wanted to protect your friend but you can't hurt others," Mia said.
"Nyx said that no one will ever care Hilda and that she will never have a real family," Mina said.
"Wait Nyx said those things?" Mia asked making sure she heard correctly.
"Yeah," Mina said.
Mia sighed then faced the teacher again.
"I assure you it won't happen again."
"See that it doesn't," Cheerilee said coldly. "You may go home now, Mina."
The filly slid off the stool and smiled nervously up at her mom. The glare she received in return caused her to hang her head.
"We're going to talk to your mother about this."
"An organ? You should've tripped her or something like that." Rainy said looking up from her ribs.
"Rainy!" Mia exclaimed.
"What?" Rainy asked.
"That's no advice you should be giving our daughter. I think this is worse than when Flameheart burned the Golden Delicious." Mia said.
"How do they still have the burn marks? Also, how is an organ better than an erupting volcano?' Rainy asked.
"Point taken," Mia said eating her seaweed.
They were sitting at the dinner table. Mia had just explained the events at school.
"It's nice to see that you are eating with us," Rainy said looking at her daughter.
"I might do this from now on. After what happened today, I have a new view of the world. I realized that I shouldn't have shut myself away from ponies. I know that not everypony is like Nyx or that pony who foalnapped Blueberry." Mina said
"I found out that the foster home that Hildas staying in is Aunt Party Lights," Mia said.
"Does that mean I can go visit her whenever I want?" Mina asked excitedly.
"Yes," Mia said.
"Awesome," Mina said.
"I'm sure you two will be like two peas in a pod," Mia said.
"Can we go visit Hilda now?" Mina asked.
"When we finish eating," Mia said.
"Yay," Mina said.
After dinner the three of them went to Party Lights.
"It's nice to see you." Party Lights said.
"It's nice to see you too," Mia said hugging her sister.
"Where's Hilda?" Mina asked.
"She's in her room reading." Party Lights said.
Hilda came down the stairs holding a book in one of her hooves.
"Oh hi," Hilda said noticing Mina.
"This place looks wonderful sis," Mia said.
"Thanks." Party Lights said.
"How many kids?" Mina asked.
"Four in total." Party Lights said.
Hilda grabbed a cinnamon roll from the kitchen to eat.
"I'm glad you're no longer lonely," Mia said.
"I'm hungry," Rainy said.
"There should be some rabbit." Party Lights said.
Rainy went to the kitchen and found the rabbit and ate it.
"That was delicious," Rainy said flying back.
"Mimi, I want to show you something," Hilda said pulling on Mina's hoof.
Mina followed her friend to her room.
There was a knock at the door. Party Lights opened the door and saw a dragon with what seemed to be two creatures being carried on the back.
"Who are you?" Party Lights asked.
"Ocellus, I was a student of both your moms." Ocellus said.
"Is something wrong?" Party Lights asked.
"My daughters and I need a place to stay." Ocellus said.
"You can stay here. It might get crazy just warning you." Party Lights said.
"Thank you." Ocellus said.
"No problem. Make yourselves at home." Party Lights said.
"Where are the rooms we'll be staying in?" Ocellus asked.
"I recommend the ones upstairs." Party Lights said.
Ocellus walked up the stairs since her daughters were on her wings.
"I don't trust her," Rainy said when Ocellus was out of earshot.
"Neither do I but, I want to make sure that her daughters are healthy." Party Lights said.
"We better be leaving. It's a school night after all." Mia said.
"Mina, it's time to go home!" Rainy shouted.
Mina ran down the stairs and left with her moms.
Party Lights went up to her room and was surprised to see Ocellus sleeping in her bed. She levitated Ocellus to the spare bed in the room. Then she went to hers and went right to sleep.
Party Lights woke up in the middle of the night feeling like she was being drained.
"What's going on?" Party Lights asked sleepily.
Party Lights then noticed pink energy entering Ocelluse's mouth.
"Go back to sleep." Ocellus said wripping her mouth.
"A-are you feeding off me?" Party Lights asked fearfully as she felt herself being drained.
"I need to. I've been living like this for years now. The Crystal Empire had no love so I went back to the way I was before." Ocellus explained.
"Why me?" Party Lights asked.
"You have more love in your heart then you realized." Ocellus said.
"What do you mean?" Party Lights asked.
Your love for the kids you take care of and your family makes you strong and full of love." Ocellus went on.
Ocellus's heart was beating fast and she was starting to blush.
"We should go back to sleep and starting tomorrow you will no longer feed off of love." Party Lights said.
"You're as beautiful as a sunset." Ocellus said looking at Party Lights lovely.
Party Lights felt very uncomfortable. She had never liked any creature whether mare, stallion, or those outside of the binary. Ocellus then kissed Party Lights. Realizing that she had crossed the line she went back to her bed.
Party Lights tried to sleep but all she could think about was the kiss. She hated it and wish she could have forgotten it. Ocellus couldn't sleep either.
At this moment, Mina was ten years. Sadly in the middle of kindergarten, Hilda was transferred to another foster home and was adopted two years ago and no longer lived in Ponyville.
Mina and her friends were in the schoolyard, making teams for a game of buckball. Unfortunately, Nyx and Hermeta were the captains. Nyx's cutie mark was a lunar eclipse and Hemera's was a solar eclipse. Bellatrix and her twin brother Alfher were picked first since they were the best athletes. Then it came down to Mina, Watermelon, Pandora, and Paradox.
"I'll take trust issues," Nyx said.
Mina walked over to Nyx's team.
"I'll take Watermelon," Hemera said.
"Let's play now," Nyx said.
"What about us?" Pandora asked.
"Sorry but you're not fully ponies so you can't play," Nyx said.
"We're seventy-five percent pony just like you and besides your letting Watermelon play," Pandora said.
"Which do you want? Freak or freaky or one of the other weirdos?" Nyx asked jokingly.
"Pandora," Hemera said.
Nyx looked at her sister in shock. Pandora slowly walked over to Hermeta's team.
"Then I guess I will take her brother so the teams can be even and the other weirdos can watch," Nyx said
Paradox walked over to Nyx until he tripped over a rock.
"Are you alright?" Pandora asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Paradox said.
"Grab my hoof," Hemera said.
Paradox looked at Hemera with caution before accepting her hoof.
"What are you doing?" Nyx asked.
"I was helping him up," Hemera said.
"Why he's a freak?" Nyx asked.
"He may be different but we shouldn't be mean to him because of that," Hemera said.
"Softie!" Nyx shouted.
"At least I have a heart!" Hemera yelled.
Hemera was about to fly away when Nyx blaster her wings with magic. She hit the ground quickly and fainted.
"Why are you so mean?" Paradox asked.
"I just want to clear the world of you freaks," Nyx said.
Mina closed her eyes and imagined a piano falling on Nyx but nothing happened.
Prism and Dawn the porg's triplets Evening Stars, Prisma, and Kai combined their powers and electricatuded Nyx. Cheerliee rushed out of the building when she smelled something burning. When she got outside she saw an electrified Nyx. She then saw Evening Stars, Prisma, and Kai giggling.
"Evening Stars, Prisma, and Kai come over here at once!" Cheerliee said firmly.
Evening Stars, Prisma, and Kai sat on hunched on the school steps. Even though the door was closed, they could hear the conversation clear as day.
"Those things nearly killed my daughter!" Alves bellowed.
"They didn't mean to harm anybody," Prism insisted.
"They are a menace! You should expel them at once!"
"Now honey calm down." Dawn Pie said. "You know they didn't mean to hurt anyone!"
"They hurt our daughter. They should be put into an asylum, after all, what else can you do with evil children?!"
Dawn Pie gasped and the slap could be heard from outside. "That's no way to talk about my friend's children hon!"
"Every pony, calm down!" Cheerilee shouted.
"Calm down?!" Alves shrieked. "Look at my daughter! Those things must be punished!
"Take your meds dear!" Dawn Pie demanded. "You obviously forgot to take them."
Alves refused to take his meds. Dawn Pie sighed and forced her husband to have his meds. Alves then apologized for his behavior.
Tears ran down the triplet's faces. The sound of the door slamming open broke them out of their trance that they didn't know they were in. They looked up to see Nyx with her parents and her unconscious sister who was on their mom's back. Next came their mom appeared. She was not happy.
"Sorry," Prisma said.
"You three are lucky I'm not sending you to Luna's Academy of Magic." Prism said sternly.
The triplets got up and walked with their mom home without saying another word.
Nobody said anything at the dinner table for the first sixteen minutes. The only sound was Dawn the porg chewing on a salad. Prism kept glancing at the triplets and tilting her head towards her wife. The foals shook their heads in response. Finally, Dawn, the porg slammed her fork.
"Okay, what's with the awkward silence?"
"Kids," Prism said slowly. "Isn't there something you want to tell your mother?"
"About what?" Prisma asked innocently.
"About what happened at school today?"
"Alright, storytime!" Dawn the porg grinned and leaned in closer.
"She fainted before we electrocuted Nyx." Evening Stars said.
"You need to learn to control your powers." Dawn the porg said.
"We know and we will try to be responsible." Evening Stars said with a sigh as she gazed at her uneaten meal.
There was a soft knock on the door. Prism walked over to the door and opened it. Standing in front of her was Hemera.
"I'm here to apologize to Prisma, Evening Stars, and Kai," Hemera said shyly.
"Come in." Prism said.
Hermera walked in slowly and saw the triplets.
"I'm sorry for bullying you three. Especially you Eve." Hemera said with a slight blush.
"Why did you?" Evening Stars asked.
"I don't know why I bullied Prisma and Kai especially since it made me sound like a hypocrite, but I know why I bullied you," Hemera said.
"Why?" Evening Stars asked.
"I have a crush on you and I was afraid. My sister threatened to kill me if I didn't bully you." Hemera said.
"Is that why you sometimes have bruises?" Evening Stars asked.
"Yes," Hemera said.
"Why haven't you told your parents?" Prism asked.
"Nyx threatened to kill mom if I told anyone," Hemera said.
"You need to tell your parents. It's better to tell them sooner rather than later." Prism said.
"I'm scared, Hemera said.
"If you want we can talk to your parents for you." Dawn the porg said.
"Really?' Hemera asked.
"Of course." Dawn the porg said.
"Thanks so much, Hemera said.
"No problem." Dawn the porg said.
Hemera closed her eyes and fell asleep with her head on Evening Stars back.
"Eve set her down gently. I think her wing is getting worse." Prism said.
Evening Stars did as she was told and carefully layed Hermeta down on the couch. Laying her down in the direction easiest to see the bad wing.
"It's worse than I thought. We need my sister." Prism said.
Dawn the porg nodded. She put Hemera on Prisms back and called for a flock of birds. The triplets along with their moms and Hemera rode on a flock of birds to Lightning's house.
Prism knocked on her sister's door. They waited a couple of minutes before deciding to go to the hospital.
"Is Lightning working tonight?" Prism asked.
"Yes, do you need to see her?" the receptionist asked.
"Yes." Prism said.
"Doctor Lightning your sister is here." the receptionist said on the intercom.
The door closest to them opened revealing Lightning.
"What's wrong?" Lightning asked.
"It's Hemera's wing." Prism said.
"Get her parents. I got it from here." Lightning said.
"Can I help?" Evening Stars asked.
"You can get her something from the cafeteria." Lightning said.
"Soft food right?" Evening Stars asked.
"Yes ma’am." Lightning said.
"Anything else?" Evening Stars asked.
"Just be there for when she wakes up." Lightning said.
At Party Lights...
"Hi, honeybee." Ocellus said.
"Stop calling me that." Party Lights said peeved.
"Why don't you give me a chance?" Ocellus asked.
"I'm an aromatic asexual." Party Lights said.
"Can I at least have one kiss?" Ocellus asked.
"NO!!!" Party Lights snapped. "And that's final!"
"I'm a starving changeling. I need some true love or else I'll be like I originally was." Ocellus said.
"You should have thought about that before abandoning your wife and two of your kids." Party Lights said.
Ocellus pulled Party Lights close to her and kissed her cheeks. When Ocellus let go Party Lights slapped her on the cheek hard enough to see blood.
"What was that for?" Ocellus asked.
"The only reason I've let you stay was because of your kids. I'm tired of you trying to flirt with me." Party Lights said.
"What are you saying?" Ocellus asked.
"One more chance then I'm kicking you out and getting a restraining order." Party Lights said.
"I can't stop my feelings for you." Ocellus said.
"You can try to not hit on me through." Party Lights said.
"I will try." Ocellus said.
"Good." Party Lights said.
"Mommy, Firefly seems to be having an identity crisis." Firefly's sister said.
"Where is she, Mariposa?" Ocellus asked.
"In our room," Mariposa said.
Ocellus followed Mariposa to her room. Party Lights followed behind them.
"What's wrong?" Ocellus asked.
"What am I?" Firefly asked.
"What do you mean?" Ocellus asked.
"I don't feel like a filly nor do I feel like a colt." Firefly said.
"You might be agender." Party Lights said.
"What do I do?" Firefly asked.
"Tomorrow I will make an appointment for you to see either Robert or Dusk Shine. Either of them can help you." Party Lights said.
"Thanks. Mo.... auntie." Firefly said before giving Party Lights a hug.
Party Lights and Ocellus left the room.
"Firefly almost called you mom." Ocellus said.
"I know want you're trying to do and it wouldn't work. Also, remember you have only one chance left." Party Lights said.
"I know." Ocellus said.
"Don't blow it." Party Lights said.
Back in Firefly and Mariposas room...
"I can't believe I almost called her mom." Firefly said.
"She kinda is like another mom to us through," Mariposa said.
"I want to ask Shooting Stars out." Firefly said looking their sister in the eyes.
"You should go for it," Mariposa said.
"What if they don't like me?" Firefly asked.
"You wouldn't know unless you ask," Mariposa said giving Firefly a hug.
"You're the best sister ever." Firefly said.
"If you need help asking Shooting Stars out I'm sure Jasmine Carol would help," Mariposa said.
"I would ask for her help, but she's flirted with almost everyone." Firefly said.
"True, but she might be your only option," Mariposa said.
"I will try to ask her tomorrow." Firefly said.
"I will always be here for you know matter what," Mariposa said.
Firefly rested their head on their sisters and fell asleep. Mariposa looked at the closest and sighed before putting Firefly on their own bed. She then went to sleep.
Hours later after Party Lights was asleep. Ocellus snuggled with her. She rested her head under Party Lights'.
Party Lights felt uncomfortable so she woke up and opened her eyes. She then looked at Ocellus who froze in place.
"Hi." Ocellus said nervously.
"Go to your bed!" Party Lights said angrily. "We will talk about this in the morning!!"
"I wish I could have kids with you." Ocellus said sleepily before falling asleep.
Party Lights levitated Ocellus and put gently placed her on her own bed and tucked her in. Then she went back to her own bed.
In Firefly and Mariposa's room...
Mariposa woke up and went to the closest using her magic as a light. She cut her mane and tail with scissors. She then summoned a knife and gave herself cuts some deeper than others. Some were close to her heart.
"Its time to end it all," Mariposa said to herself holding the knife close to her chest.
"Mariposa, what are you doing?!" Firefly asked turning on the lights then their eyes went wide. "Why are you holding a knife to your chest?"
Party Lights woke up and ran into the room to see what was going on.
"Mariposa, put that down slowly." Party Lights said gently when she saw the knife.
Mariposa did as she was told. The knife hitting the ground sounding like thunder. Mariposa looked at her reflection in the knife.
"Sis, what's wrong?" Firefly asked.
"I wanna end it all," Mariposa said.
"I'm going to make an appointment for you to see Roselily tomorrow." Party Lights said.
"I'm fine," Mariposa said even though it was clear she wasn't.
"Roselily will know better then anyone wants you're going through." Party Lights said.
"I doubt it," Mariposa said.
"Those scars on Roselily are from when she tried to cut herself. She has tried to take her own life in the past and now she is helping others like her." Party Lights said.
"Mom... I mean auntie I'm a demigirl. I've been having suicidal thoughts for a while now." Mariposa said.
"Mari, I know Roselily she will get you on antidepressants. I will always be here for both of you no matter what." Party Lights said.
"Can you make my mane and tail more even?" Mariposa asked.
"Sure." Party Lights said levitating the scissors.
"Lorelei, you are to marry Prince Earl once you are an adult." Sweetie Belle said.
"Why?" Lorelei ask.
"Simple because I said so." Sweetie Belle said.
"But I don’t know him.” Lorelei said.
"You met him when you were younger." Sweetie Belle said.
"Why doesn't Dolores or anyone else has a to get married?" Lorelei asked.
"Dolores does, she's just reading one of her rulebooks." Sweetie Belle said.
"Who's she marrying?" Lorelei asked.
"Prince Lucius, he's Prince Earl's brother." Sweetie Belle said.
"Bea, is the dinner tonight?" Shining Armor asked.
"Yes, why?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"We should probably cook a normal meal for our guests." Shining Armor said.
"I got that covered." Sweetie Belle said.
"What are you talking about?" Lorelei asked.
"Your future husband and his family are coming for dinner tonight." Sweetie Belle said.
"There's a dress for you on your bed." Shining Armor said.
Lorelei left to go see her dress.
"Lori, do you know why we have dresses on our beds?" Yarrow asked.
"Apparently I'm getting married almost as soon as I turn eighteen. It might be the same for Dolores." Lorelei said.
"Wait for what?!" Dolores exclaimed slamming her book closed.
"I don't want to wear a dress," Yarrow said.
"I think we have to," Lorelei said.
Hours later...
"You all look wonderful." Shining Armor said wearing a navy blue tux with a black tie.
"You don't look so bad yourself." Sweetie Belle said wearing a light green dress and a bun.
"I'll keep a lookout for our guests." Shining Armor said before going out of the cave.
Twelve minutes later Blueblood, Fleur, Lucius, and Earl walked in behind Shining Armor.
"Dinner is served." Sweetie Belle said.
"Thank you for inviting us," Fleur said wearing a lilac dress.
"No problem." Sweetie Belle said.
"This is delicious," Blueblood said wearing a black tux with a blue tie.
"Lorelei, you and Dolores should introduce yourselves to Princes Earl and Lucius." Sweetie Belle said.
"Hi I'm Lorelei," Lorelei said.
"My name is Dolores," Dolores said reading a rulebook.
"I'm Prince Lucius," Lucius said wearing a gray tux and purple bow tie.
"I'm Prince Earl," Earl said wearing a purple tux and a gray bow tie.
Dolores didn’t pay anymore attention and continued to read.
"Why did you cast an illusion spell on the food?" Blueberry asked.
"I don't know what you're talking about." Sweetie Belle said.
"Tell us the truth," Blueberry said.
"We need to go sorry," Blueblood said looking at the pocket watch that he had summoned.
"What am I?" Yarrow asked suddenly.
"What do you mean? Fleur asked.
"I don't feel fully like a filly," Yarrow said.
"Go to your room now!!" Sweetie Belle yelled.
Yarrow did as she was told and ran to her room.
"Why did you yell at her?" Earl asked.
"Earl, they're like our family. It's like your big sister. She identifies as a stallion when she's just a confused mare." Blueblood said.
"We'll talk to her later." Sweetie Belle said.
"She kind of reminds me of my sister who died when we were fillies. My sister identified as bigender and then she got shot by an arrow." Fleur said.
"Hopefully Yarrow will realize she's confused before anything like that happens to her." Sweetie Belle said.
"We really should be going they have both have a test tomorrow," Fleur said.
"Farewell then." Sweetie Belle said.
"It was nice to see all of you again." Shining Armor said.
Fleur, Blueblood, Earl, and Lucius left the cave and teleported home.
"I'm going to talk to Yarrow." Sweetie Belle said.
Sweetie Belle went to Yarrow, Blueberry, Lorelei, and Dolores "bedroom".
"Am I in trouble? Am I weird?" Yarrow asked.
"You're just confused." Sweetie Belle said.
"When will I feel normal?" Yarrow asked.
"I don't know." Sweetie Belle said.
"What if it never happens?" Yarrow asked.
"Don't worry it will happen." Sweetie Belle said.
"Thanks for taking care of me," Yarrow said before falling asleep.
"No problem my little flower." Sweetie Belle said before getting up.
"Bea, Blueberry really wants to go out into the world and go to school." Shining Armor said when he saw Sweetie Belle.
"Most of Equestria knows that she was foalnapped." Sweetie Belle said.
"Exactly most," Blueberry said.
Sweetie Belle and Shining Armor looked at her then at each other and sighed.
"Ok, you can go to school in the Crystal Empire. As long as you don't reveal too much." Shining Armor said.
"Deal!" Blueberry said excitedly.
"Go tell the others that the four of you will start going to school tomorrow." Sweetie Belle said.
Blueberry rushed to her room so quickly that her glasses almost came off. Yarrow woke up.
"We get to go to school tomorrow!" Blueberry said.
"What exactly is school?" Yarrow asked with a yawn.
"It's a place where we get to learn," Blueberry said.
"I believe it's going to have lots of rules," Dolores said putting down one of her rulebooks.
"Girls, do you want to take the train tomorrow or teleport to school?" Shining Armor asked.
"Train," Blueberry said.
The next day everyone woke up not long after two.
"We have to go to a store for supplies." Sweetie Belle said.
The six of them left the cave and went into town and entered a store. Sweetie Belle and Shining Armor were wearing disguises.
"I want these four lunch boxes and these four saddlebags." Sweetie Belle said putting the items on the counter.
"Anything else?" the mare behind the counter asked.
"No that will be all." Sweetie Belle said.
"That will be sixteen bits." the mare said.
"There you go." Sweetie Belle said.
Sweetie Belle and the others left the store and headed towards the train station. Shining Armor paid for the tickets.
"I'm so excited!" Blueberry said.
"I'm going to go put the soup in your lunch boxes." Sweetie Belle said before teleporting away.
"I can't wait!" Blueberry said.
Sweetie Belle teleported back and handed out the lunch boxes.
"Put these in your bags." Sweetie Belle said.
"Here's some money you can use but, don't use all of it before the end of school you need enough to come back." Shining Armor said then he summoned two maps. "Here are two maps of the Crystal Empire." Shining Armor said.
"Good luck." Sweetie Belle said.
"Bye." Shining Armor said.
"I'm scared," Yarrow said.
"It'll be fine." Sweetie Belle and Shining Armor said in unison.
"The train for the Crystal Empire is leaving!" the conductor called from the train. "All aboard that's going aboard!"
Blueberry, Yarrow, Lorelei, and Dolores got on the train. As soon as Yarrow, Lorelei, and Dolores sat down they fell asleep.
Hours later they had arrived at the Crystal Empire after some delays and were trying to find the school.
"I'm going to be late!" a pegasus filly said frantically looking at the time and grabbing her food.
"Where's the school?" Blueberry asked the filly.
"Follow me that's where I'm heading." the pegasus filly said.
As they walked Blueberry had thousands of thoughts bubbling in her mind. They were at school before she knew it.
"What's your name? Blueberry asked.
"Ursula... Ursula Dash," Ursula said.
"I'm Blueberry," Blueberry said.
"Nice to meet you. I'm the restroom cleaner so that's why I have to get here early." Ursula said.
"My sisters and I have never been to school before. Could you tell us what it's like?" Blueberry asked.
"Wait you've never been to school before?!" Ursula exclaimed.
"We rarely left our home," Blueberry said.
"We can find out who your teachers are then you can help me clean the restrooms if you want," Ursula said.
"Is there a library? That's the name for the place that has books right?" Blueberry asked.
"Of course there's a library and yes that's the right name," Ursula said.
Ursula walked Blueberry, Lorelei, Yarrow, and Dolores to the attendance office.
"Are these the new students?" the attendance mare asked sitting down in her chair.
"Yes ma’am ," Ursula said.
"Blueberry you and Dolores will be in the same advanced classes as Ursula. Yarrow and Loralei you will have Mr. Sunburst to start off with." the attendance mare said.
"Have a nice day," Ursula said.
"You too." the attendance mare said.
Ursula brought Yarrow and Loralei to their classroom.
"Mr. Sunburst these are your new students," Ursula said.
"Perfect timing, we're starting a new unit today," Sunburst said.
"Bye," Ursula said.
Ursula cleaned the fillies restrooms until other foals started showing up.
"Are these two new dunces or are they polymaths like us?" a purple unicorn filly asked.
"They are polymaths but their other sisters aren't," Ursula said.
"So we have two new dunces and two new polymaths are that correct?" the purple unicorn filly asked.
"Don't call their sisters dunces," Ursula said.
"As you wish Ursa." the purple unicorn filly said.
"Can you take them to class I don't want them to be late because of me?' Ursula said.
"Sure thing." the purple unicorn filly said.
"Thank you Umbriel," Ursula said.
"No problem," Umbriel said.
Umbriel took Dolores and Blueberry to class.
"Good morning," Stormy said.
"Good morning, these are the two new students," Umbriel said.
"They can sit near you and Ursa," Stormy said.
"Ok," Umbriel said.
Ursula walked in behind everyone else.
"We have two new students joining us today. Dolores and Blueberry please stand up." Stormy said.
Dolores and Blueberry did as they were told though technically Blueberry hovered in the air.
"Hi," Blueberry said.
Later at recess...
"Hey, eggheads past the ball over. You know if you want to." Ursula's twin sister said quietly.
"You should work on speaking up Thora," Ursula said throwing the ball to her sister.
"I know and thanks," Thora said.
"You forgot your lunch my little shadow." a mare with a purple coat and faded blue mane said.
"Thanks, mom," Umbriel said.
"No problem." the purple mare.
"Blueberry, I forgot to give these to you and your sisters." Sweetie Belle said after appearing.
"Thank you," Blueberry said levitating all of the bags.
Blueberry gave Lorelei, Dolores, and Yarrow their bags.
"I never thought Radiant Hope would be a family creature." Sweetie Belle seeing the purple mare.
"I thought the same thing about you Belle." Radiant Hope said.
"Looks like we were both wrong." Sweetie Belle said.
"I'll see you later my little shadow." Radiant Hope said to Umbriel.
"Bye," Umbriel said.
Sweetie Belle disappeared without saying a word. Radiant Hope waved goodbye to Umbriel then left.
"Bri, was that mommy?" Umbriel's twin sister asked.
"Don't call me that dunce!" Umbriel yelled. "Sorry that I yelled at you I just hate that name and yes it was."
"Why didn't she say hi to me?" Umbriel's' twin sister asked.
"I'm sure she had a reason Shady," Umbriel said.
"I bet she didn't come to me because I'm not an egghead unlike you," Shady said.
"I'm sure that's not the reason. Don't be more of a dunce than you already are." Umbriel said.
"You were always the favorite! You always got praised even for the simplest of things! When I never get any!" Shady said angrily.
Shady horn started to spark and before anyone knew it she sent a blast at Umbriel. Her sister slowly dropped to the ground.
"Shady, calm down," Thora said.
"Go away featherbrain!" Shady said angrily with sparks flying out of her horn.
"Don't call her that!" Ursula said.
"What are you going to do about it?" Shady asked.
Ursula punched Shady so hard that there was blood as Shady fell to the ground.
"What happened here?!" Sunburst asked walking over to them.
"Shady made Ursa mad," Thora said.
"Thora, you and Loralei will take Umbriel and Shady to the Nurse. Ursula, you will tell Stormy what you did." Sunburst said.
Ursula flew towards Stormy with Blueberry flying behind her.
"Sis, I did something bad," Ursula said when she saw Stormy.
"What did you do?" Stormy asked.
"Shady, made me mad so I ended up hurting her," Ursula said.
"What made you mad?" Stormy asked.
"Shady called Thora a featherbrain," Ursula said.
"She did what?!" Stormy exclaimed in anger.
Ursula backed away in fear with wide eyes. She had never seen her big sister angry before.
"Sis, calm down," Ursula said with a shaky voice.
"That little she-devil needs to learn a lesson," Stormy said.
"Think happy thoughts," Ursula said.
Stormy took a few breaths and thought about the top ten best things in her life before looking at Ursula again.
"We are going to tell mom when we get home," Stormy said.
"Ok," Ursula said.
"Blueberry, Yarrow is crying!" Lorelei said walking up behind Blueberry.
"Where is she?" Blueberry asked.
"This way," Lorelei said.
Blueberry, Ursula, and Stormy followed Lorelei. They stopped in front of a tree.
"What's wrong?" Blueberry asked seeing Yarrow.
"I feel so confused. I don't feel fully like a filly." Yarrow said.
"There are a few possibilities for what you might be," Stormy said.
"What do you mean?" Yarrow asked.
"Is there anything else you feel?" Stormy asked.
"I think I sometimes feel like a mix of a filly and a colt and other times either," Yarrow said.
"That sounds like bigender," Stormy said.
"My mom said that I was confused," Yarrow said.
"She's wrong. You're not confused." Stormy said.
"What do I do?" Yarrow asked.
"Just be yourself," Stormy said.
Hours later on the train ride home...
"Lori is a lesbo," Dolores whispered to Blueberry.
"Yarrow is very confused," Blueberry said.
"You know we can hear you right?" Lorelei asked. "Also what's a lesbo?"
"It means you like other fillies," Blueberry said.
"Oh," Lorelei said.
"Yarrow is double confused you can't feel like both a filly and a colt then either. You also can't like fillies and colts." Blueberry said.
When the train reached their stop the four of them got off.
"How was your first day?" Shining Armor asked when he saw them get off.
"Good." Blueberry and Dolores said in unison.
"Anything you want to tell us?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"Lorelei is a lesbo," Blueberry said.
"Hopefully Lorelei's marriage to Prince Earl will fix her." Sweetie Belle said.
"Why can't I love who I love?" Lorelei asked.
"It's wrong." Sweetie Belle said
"Yarrow is super confused," Blueberry said.
"I'm not confused," Yarrow said.
"Let's talk about this over dinner." Shining Armor said.
The six of them teleported to the cave. Sweetie Belle started cooking magic right away.
"Can I help?" Blueberry asked.
"No." Sweetie Belle said.
Blueberry walked over to where the others were and sat down on the floor.
"Were there any colts that you thought were cute?" Shining Armor asked.
"Not really the closest one was a nerd with scars," Blueberry said.
"You should invite him over." Shining Armor said.
"Dinners ready." Sweetie Belle said levitating six bowls.
"It smells delicious." Shining Armor said.
"I did nothing new." Sweetie Belle said.
"That doesn't mean it doesn't smell delicious." Shining Armor said.
Everyone grabbed a bowl and sat on the ground.
"So what's the name of this colt?" Sweetie Belle asked Blueberry.
"His name is Taka," Blueberry said.
"Doesn't that translate to trash?" Shining Armor said.
"Yes, his sister's name translates to war and his dad's name translates to scar," Blueberry said.
"What do you think of Salem?" Yarrow asked.
"Meh." Dolores said.
"Why can't I like other fillies?" Yarrow asked.
"It is wrong to like someone that is your gender." Sweetie Belle said.
"I bet my real parents would except me!" Yarrow cried before teleporting to their room.
"I'll go talk to Yarrow," Lorelei said.
"No, you won't." Sweetie Belle said.
"Why?" Lorelei asked.
"You and Dolores need to pick out your wedding dresses." Sweetie Belle said.
"Can I help?" Blueberry asked.
"Sure. Here's the money I'm allowing you to go to Ponyville to buy the dresses." Sweetie Belle said.
"Why aren't you coming and why Ponyville? Isn't that the place you took me from? If it is then won't they recognize me?" Blueberry asked.
"Shining and I are going to talk to Yarrow and Ponyville have a great designer just don't raise any suspicion." Sweetie Belle said.
"Ok," Blueberry said taking the buying.
"I'm going to teleport the three of you there. Make sure you get a dress for Yarrow as well." Sweetie Belle.
Sweetie Belle teleported Blueberry, Lorelei, and Dolores to Ponyville after making sure they had enough money.
After walking or flying in Blueberries case for eight or so minutes they came across Carousel Boutique.
"Hi, can my sisters and I get three dresses for a dance?" Blueberry asked upon entering.
"What kind of dance?" Rarity asked.
"One for school my sisters here already have dates they just need dresses," Blueberry said.
"What about you?" Rarity asked.
"There's a colt I like but I don't know if he likes me," Blueberry said shaking a little.
"Than I think I have the right dresses especially for you." Rarity said. "Follow me."
Blueberry, Dolores, and Loralei did as they were told and followed Rarity.
"I almost forgot we need a dress for our sister who couldn't come with us," Blueberry said.
"Yarrow might not want a dress through," Lorelei said.
"Mom said to get Yarrow a dress which we will do," Dolores said.
"Look over here." Rarity said to Blueberry.
"Ok, thanks," Blueberry said.
"No problem, the others follow me." Rarity said after a few minutes of walking Rarity stopped and turned to Dolores. "Look over here."
"Ok, thanks," Dolores said.
"No problem." Rarity said then she gestured to Lorelei. "Follow me."
"Can we look at tuxes for my sibling that couldn't make it?" Lorelei asked.
"Sure thing. Out of curiosity is this the sibling that one of your sisters referred to as a filly?" Rarity asked.
"Yes, Yarrows actually bigender but doesn't have the support they need," Lorelei said.
"Make sure you're there for them." Rarity said.
"I'm being forced to marry a colt which is why I need a dress," Lorelei said.
"No one should force you to get married." Rarity said.
"It's an arranged marriage," Lorelei said.
"Oh." Rarity said.
"I really want to be with this filly that I have a crush on," Lorelei said.
"Go ask that filly out and ignore anyone that tells you it's wrong." Rarity said.
"Thanks," Lorelei said.
"No problem, and here try this one." Rarity said levitating a gray tux.
Lorelei was confused and grabbed it. Rarity pushed her towards the changing room.
Lorelei closed the door and put on the tux then looked at the mirror and smiled before opening the door.
"I love this," Lorelei said.
"Then take it off and I'll disguise it as a dress." Rarity said.
"Thanks, will you do that for Yarrows as too?" Lorelei asked.
"Yes." Rarity said.
Rarity took Lorelei back to the tux section.
"I think green would work best," Lorelei said.
"Like this one?" Rarity asked.
"That's perfect," Lorelei said.
Rarity used an illusion spell on the two tuxes to make them appear to be dressed.
Lorelei walked over to her sisters to got check out well Rarity headed towards the cash register.
"That'll be four bits." Rarity said.
Blueberry gave Rarity four bits before levitating the bag with the items in it.
"Farewell," Lorelei said.
"Hope to see you again." Rarity said.
Dolores teleported the three of them home.
"Let's see the dresses." Sweetie Belle said.
Blueberry gave the bag to Sweetie Belle.
"You can probably guess which one is mine," Blueberry said.
"The blue plaid one is yours, I'm guessing the pink one is Dolores, the green is for Yarrow, so that means the grays Loreleis." Sweetie Belle.
Lorelei walked to her room and sat on Yarrow's bed.
"I got you a tux it's under an illusion spell so it looks like a dress," Lorelei whispered.
"Thanks, did you get a tux too?" Yarrow asked.
"Yes," Lorelei said. "Why?"
"Just wondering. Can you get my glasses?" Yarrow asked.
"Sure," Lorelei said grabbing Yarrow's reading glasses.
Yarrow teleported a book in front of them and began to read it quietly but loud enough for Lorelei to hear it.
Blueberry and Dolores walked in whispering to each other before seeing Yarrow and Lorelei.
"Freaks," Blueberry said."You can only like colts and be a filly,"
Ocellus flew over to a sleeping Party Lights and kissed her on the lips. Party Lights' eyes shot open and blasted her magic at Ocellus.
"I'm so sorry." Ocellus said bleeding.
Party Lights turned on the lights to see what her blast did.
"Get out!" Party Lights said. "I'm a monster!"
"I don't have anywhere to go and you aren't a monster." Ocellus said.
"I said get out!" Party Lights yelled lighting up her horn.
"Goodbye, my love." Ocellus said.
"Don't call me that!" Party Lights yelled sending a blast near Ocellus's heart.
Ocellus weakly grabbed her kids and left.
Party Lights sat down and tried reading to calm herself down but it was no help. One of the foals that Party Lights fostered walked into the room and curled up next to her.
"You're not a monster." the foal said. "If anything you're a savior."
"Thanks, Journey but I'm no savior." Party Lights said.
"Yes, you are," Journey said.
"You need to go back to bed." Party Lights said.
"I'm not tired," Journey said.
"Journey, how would you feel if I adopted you?" Party Lights asked.
"I would love that," Journey said hugging Party Lights.
"Then I'll sign the papers and tell the family when you get home from school." Party Lights said.
"What about Noel?" Journey asked.
Meanwhile...
"Can my foals and I stay here?" Ocellus asked.
"Sure," Roselily said.
"Thank you." Ocellus said.
"No problem," Roselily said.
"Where can I put them? Ocellus asked walking in.
"On the couch," Roselily said.
After putting her foals on the couch Ocellus sat down.
"I need to write a letter." Ocellus said.
"Not right now, you're too wounded," Roselily said. "What happened?"
"I kissed Party Lights well she was sleeping." Ocellus said.
"That explains it. Ocellus, you need to remember that Party Lights is an aromantic who doubts her magic strength." Roselily said.
"I know but I can't help it she's so beautiful." Ocellus said.
"I got to go. Make yourself at home." Roselily said.
Roselily flew outside and started her long flight.
Back at Party Lights not long after everyone had gone to school Mia opened the door and standing behind her was were her moms' and siblings.
"What happened?" Mia asked. "My Mia sense brought me here."
"I'm a monster." Party Lights said.
"You're not a monster." Dawn Pie said.
"I almost killed Ocellus." Party Lights said.
"Was she hitting on you again?" Dawn Pie asked.
"She kissed me in my sleep." Party Lights said.
"You're a powerful aromantic unicorn." Dawn Pie said.
"That's no excuse for what I did!" Party Lights said.
"What about her kids?" Robert asked.
"With her, I didn't want to hurt them." Party Lights said.
Twilight flew over to Party Lights and put one wing around her.
"Maybe you can consider this a lesson." Surprise said.
"What do you mean?" Party Lights asked.
"Well maybe if you didn't hide how strong your magic is you won't have almost killed Ocellus." Surprise said.
"Surprise, that's harsh." Pinkie said.
"It's just a theory." Surprise said.
"Lights, I hate to suggest this but..." Dawn Pie said before getting interrupted.
"I know what you're going to say and the answers no and I'll not foster creatures again either." Party Lights said. "I'm adopting two of them through."
"I was going to say you need to socialize more." Dawn Pie said. "I'm happy that you're adopting through."
"No, I don't." Party Lights said.
"Yes, you do." Dawn Pie said.
"I faked liking friendship!" Party Lights blurted.
"What?" Dawn Pie asked with wide eyes.
"I felt like I had to like friendship since I'm a daughter of the Princess of Friendship. I faked a lot of things." Party Lights said.
"You didn't have to fake liking friendship," Twilight said.
"Don't even think about giving me a lecture." Party Lights said. "I hate them."
"How could you lie to me, to all of us all these years?" Dawn Pie sobbed before running out.
Party Lights' eyes widened in horror then she looked and her family.
"Please tell her I'm sorry." Party Lights said.
"That's something you must do on your own." Surprise said.
"Surprise is right for once this was your mistake that you must fix all on your own," Mia said, getting a glare from Surprise.
"I can't." Party Lights said.
"Yes, you can!" Mia said. "Don't make your bond with her as bad as Pound and Pumpkins."
At Dawn Pies...
"I'm sorry." Party Lights said.
"I can't expect your apology. You lied to me of all creatures. When I thought friends were a waste of time you were the one who kept telling me they weren't." Dawn Pie said her eyes held a mixture of anger and sadness in them.
"I'm sorry about that I really am." Party Lights said.
"I believed in your powers when no one else did. I was always there!" Dawn Pie said.
"I know and I should've let you be there again." Party Lights said.
"Yes, but you didn't. I don't ever want to see you again!" Dawn Pie said her eyes narrowing.
"What?" Party Lights saying unsure what else to say.
"I mean it." Dawn Pie said her eyes held no more emotion.
"Sis, I'm sorry." Party Lights said but Dawn Pie had already closed the door on her.
At school...
Firefly flew over to Jasmine Carol.
"Jas, I need your help." Firefly said.
"What is it?" Jasmine Carol asked.
"I want to ask Shooting Stars if they would go out with me." Firefly said.
"You came to the right creature." Jasmine Carol said.
"Hey look it's the love seeker." a light brown pegasus colt said looking at Jasmine Carol.
"I bet you're a disappointment." a light gray pegasus filly said.
"I bet she's attracted to pans." a light yellow pegasus colt said.
"Don't be stupid she's not attracted to pans. She's just confused." another light gray pegasus filly said.
"Leave her alone!" Firefly said.
"I'm not seeking attention and I'm not confused!" Jasmine Carol said.
"Yes you are, there are only two genders." the light brown pegasus colt said.
"No there are only two sexes. Well, three I guess if you count intersex. Sex and gender are different." Jasmine Carol said.
"Boys, get to class you don't want to be late." one of the light gray pegasus fillies said.
The two colts flew off to their class. Leaving the two filly pegasi with Jasmine Carol and Firefly.
"Too bad you don't identify as a filly anymore." one of the light gray pegasus fillies said to Firefly.
Firefly looked at the light gray pegasus in shock.
"Jassy, you should put your mane up more often it suits you better." the other light gray pegasus filly said.
"Oh, thanks." Jasmine Carol said.
"Summer, did you have a crush on me?" Firefly asked.
"No, why would you think that?" Summer asked her face turning crimson.
"It's ok if you did." Firefly said.
"Sis, we should head to class," Summer said.
"Go ahead there's something I want to do first." Summer's sister said.
"Ok, see you soon then," Summer said before flying off.
"Wait for me." Firefly said flying off after Summer since they had the same class.
Summer's sister pulled Jasmine Carol close to her chest and kissed her on the lips.
"Halley." Jasmine Carol breathed pulling away with a small smile.
"I didn't mean it when I said you were a disappointment," Halley said putting her wings around Jasmine Carol's neck.
"Why did you say it?" Jasmine Carol asked.
"I don't know. The only reason I've been mean to you is because I love you." Halley said.
"We should probably head to class." Jasmine Carol said.
Halley nodded and they flew to class together.
At lunch...
"Do you want half of my cookie?" Summer asked trying not to turn crimson.
"Sure." Firefly said taking half the cookie. "This is good."
"You got some on your lips." Summer said.
Firefly wiped off the crumbs from their mouth and smiled at Summer. The two of them chuckled.
"How did you get crumbs on your wings?" Firefly asked.
Summer flapped her wings to get the crumbs off.
"I don't know what you're talking about." Summer said.
"There are still some between a few of the feathers." Firefly said.
Summer's face turned rose-red as she tried to shake the crumbs out of her wings. Then realized there weren't any.
After school...
"Pa, can we go to Sugarcube Corner?" Halley asked.
"Sure." Hoops said.
Hoops and his four foals flew to Sugarcube Corner.
"What would you like?" Flurry asked.
"A strawberry, grape, and blueberry sundae with whip cream and a cherry on top please." Hoops said.
"A cinnamon roll." the light yellow colt said.
"A honey bun." the light brown colt said.
"A red velvet cupcake with purple and orange sprinkles," Halley said.
"A rainbow cake drop," Summer said.
"That will be ten bits." Flurry said.
"I got this pa," Summer said taking out a small bag from her saddlebag and took ten bits out to give to Flurry.
"Sit down and I will have those out shortly." Flurry said.
Pumpkin and Jasmine Carol walked into the building.
"Hi, Halley." Jasmine Carol said.
"Hi," Halley said.
"Here you go." Flurry said levitating over the sweets to the five pegasi.
"Thanks." Hoops said.
"No problem." Flurry said.
"Any word on Fluttershy?" Hoops asked.
"No." Flurry said.
"Why do you ask?" Pumpkin asked.
"She was my first crush and I never got to apologize for bullying her or Rainbow." Hoops said sadly.
"Who's Fluttershy?" all five of the foals asked.
"You should learn about her in school." Pumpkin said.
"Aunt Pumpkin, who's this?" a cinnamon brown pegasus foal asked holding a picture as they flew down the stairs towards her.
"Her name's Red Velvet and she's Funnels twin sister." Pumpkin said with a sigh. "Making her your aunt."
"Why have I never seen or heard about her before?" the cinnamon brown pegasus foal asked.
"It complicated." Pumpkin said.
"How?" the cinnamon brown pegasus colt asked.
"It just is." Pumpkin said her horn lighting a little.
At Roselilys...
"What are you smiling about?" Mariposa asked.
"Nothing." Firefly said with a slight blush.
"Did you ask Shooting Stars out?" Mariposa asked.
"No." Firefly said.
"Then why do you have a spark in your eyes?" Mariposa asked.
"It's nothing." Firefly said.
"Then why are you blushing?" Mariposa asked.
"Firefly doesn't have to tell you everything," Roselily said.
"Thanks." Firefly said.
"No problem," Roselily said.
There was a knock at the door. Firefly went to open it. Standing in front of them was Summer.
"Are you ready to do the project?" Summer asked.
"Sure am." Firefly said.
Summer walked in and sat on the couch taking off her bag.
"We got the Battles between Belle and Malice." Summer said.
"What are you doing here?" Mariposa asked seeing Summer.
"Firefly and I are doing a project for Pre-Ap Heros and Villains." Summer said.
Mariposa saw the way Firefly looked at Summer.
"Why would you like someone who's been bullying us since we met her?" Mariposa asked.
"I should go." Summer said trying to cover her blush with wings.
"You don't have to go yet." Firefly said.
"It's fine." Summer said kissing Firefly on their right cheek. "Bye."
Summer got her things and flew out making sure she closed the door behind her.
"What's going on?" Ocellus asked.
"I love Summer. She's smart, cute, sweet, and tough." Firefly said.
"Summer isn't sweet," Mariposa said.
"Yes, she is." Firefly said.
"Love is a strange thing," Roselily said.
At Sugarcube Corner...
"We should tell them the truth!" Pound shouted.
"No, we shouldn't!" Pumpkin shouted back.
"Both of you calm down all this started was because my foal Cocoa found a picture that had Red Velvet in it." Funnel said flapping his wings.
"No one needs to learn the truth yet." Pumpkin said.
"Cocoa gets bullied for their gender identity I think learning this will be fine!" Pound said.
"Heather and I are the only ones that can decide whether or not we should tell Coco and Bear Claw." Funnel said.
"I'm going to tell Angel and Lava through a letter." Pound said.
"I think my foals are too young." Pumpkin said.
"They aren't too young especially your daughter Jasmine Carol." Pound said.
"Jassy may be old enough but Éclair isn't and I don't want Jassy knowing before Éclair." Pumpkin said.
"You can't keep them in the dark." Pound said.
"Don't tell me how to raise my foals!" Pumpkin said her horn sparking.
"I'm not!" Pound said.
Pumpkin tried to keep her emotions in but it was too much and she accidentally blasted Pound in the face.
"Pound, are you alright?" Pumpkin asked. "I didn't mean to blast you."
"You're a hag." Pound said angrily.
"Don't call your sister a hag." Cream Puff said.
Pumpkin became lightheaded and almost fill.
"Careful dear." Flurry said holding Pumpkin with her magic.
"I'm fine." Pumpkin said.
Flurry stopped holding Pumpkin with her magic and set her down gently.
"If you say so." Flurry Heart said.
"Red Velvets choice tore our family apart. I mean you two are fighting more and more." Funnel said.
"We should let the twins be alone." Cream Puff said.
Everyone but the twins left the room and went downstairs.
"You have no right telling me how to raise my foals when you abandoned yours!" Pumpkin said.
"I didn't abandon them. I sent them to an elite boarding school for colts." Pound said.
"That's basically abandoning them and saying you don't want them being anything other than colts." Pumpkin said.
"The main reason I sent them there was because I didn't want my sons near you!" Pound said.
"Why?" Pumpkin asked her horn sparking.
"That's why." Pound said pointing to his twin's horn.
"If you weren't such a lazy jerk then maybe I wouldn't have as many magic surges!" Pumpkin said.
"At least I have my cutie mark so I know what my special talent is!" Pound said.
"Except you're lazy and barely do anything!" Pumpkin said.
"I don't need to do much because I have my cutie mark! You're such a workaholic and a monster that it's no wonder Why do don't have your cutie mark." Pound said.
Before Pumpkin knew it she had levitated a knife and stabbed Pound near his chest.
"Pound!!" Pumpkin shouted. "Help, someone help!!"
In a flash of yellow light Flurry Heart, Funnel, and Cream Puff appeared.
"What happened?" Flurry asked.
"I didn't mean to I'm sorry." Pumpkin said.
Cream Puff looked at her husband then at Pumpkin.
"What was the last thing he said to you?" Cream Puff asked sniffling.
"That he doesn't need to do much because he has his cutie mark." Pumpkin said. "He also said I'm too much of a monster and workaholic to get my cutie mark."
Cream Puff put her ear to Pounds' stomach.
"He's breathing but we need to take him to the hospital." Cream Puff said.
"I'm sorry." Pumpkin said.
"I get it you two were having a fight and you couldn't control your magic. At least you started to show your emotions more." Cream Puff said.
"Maybe he was right and that I'm monster." Pumpkin said.
"No, you're not." Flurry said.
"It's healthier that you're not always hiding how you feel." Cream Puff said.
Suddenly Dawn Pie appeared crying.
"Party Lights lied to me and I can't forgive her. She was the one who kept pestering me to like friendship when it turns out she actually doesn't like friendship." Dawn Pie said crying well sparks shooting out of her horn.
"What are you talking about I didn't say anything to Nettie?" Dolores asked. "I think one of my books may have hit Oynxs head."
"Oh, then you may leave," Stormy said. "Blueberry you must organize the entire classroom as well as write the letter."
"You're only making me do this because your siblings are confused and sensitive," Blueberry said.
"Don't make it worse," Stormy said.
"Can, we schedule an appointment?" Dolores whispered making sure Blueberry wasn't watching.
"Of course, is two days from now good?" Stormy asked.
"Sure," Dolores said.
The next day...
"We're going to learn about one of the evilest creatures to ever exist," Stormy said. "Her name was Belle."
"Didn't she rip out her own heart?" Ursula asked.
"Yes, she did and her twin sister saw her do it," Stormy said.
Everyone except Ursula and Stormy shivered at the thought of a heart bring ripped out of someone.
"Wasn't Belle known as the mother of evil?" Ursula asked.
"Yes," Stormy said.
"Um..." Blueberry started.
"Isn't Sweetie Belle know for being a hypocrite and some of her secrets that got out?" Ursula asked side glaring at Blueberry.
Everyone except Stormy stared at Ursula in confusion.
"We're going to talk about this when we get home," Stormy said.
"Didn't Belle make it look like her twin sister was evil because she claimed that was want was best for the world?" Ursula asked.
"URSULA DASH I'M TRYING TO TEACH HERE!" Stormy yelled.
"Sorry, sis," Ursula said.
After school...
When Yarrow, Loralei, Blueberry, and Dolores got to the cave they saw something they never thought they would ever see.
"Tomorrow the four of you will start at a new school." Sweetie Belle said without looking at them.
"I have an appointment with a teacher tomorrow," Dolores said.
"Where would we be going?" Blueberry and Loralei asked in unison.
"To Spoiled's Academy because the school you go to right now is brainwashing you and making you soft." Sweetie Belle said turning her head a little.
"I heard it's the most elite boarding school for fillies," Blueberry said.
"I'll give you the recipe for your meals and your headmare knows about the diet." Sweetie Belle said looking at the four of them.
"We'll only see you on breaks right?" Loralei asked.
"That's correct." Sweetie Belle said.
"Let's pack," Blueberry said.
"Dinner first then you can pack." Sweetie Belle said.
"Fine," Blueberry said.
Sweetie Belle levitated everyone's magic soup to them.
"Where's the guard?" Loralei asked.
"He's feeling ill so he's sleeping." Sweetie Belle said.
"Oh, I hope he feels better," Loralei said.
After dinner, the four foals went to their room to start packing and Loralei told them with authority what to pack. Suddenly her flank glowed and music notes with a blow horn cutie mark appeared. Hours later when everyone else was asleep Dolores lightly poked Yarrow.
"What is it?" Yarrow whispered.
"Can you come with me to find out where my teacher lives?" Dolores asked.
"Sure," Yarrow said.
Dolores teleported them onto a train heading toward the Crystal Empire. Once they got off they are drawn towards the castle.
"State your names and your business!" Snowflake said.
"I'm Dolores and this is Yarrow. I was suppose to have an appointment with my homeroom teacher but I'm going to a new school." Dolores said.
"Follow me." Snowflake said pushing the doors open.
The three of them entered the kitchen and Snowflake cleared her throat.
"What is it?" Stormy asked.
"You have a visitor." Snowflake said.
"Who?" Stormy asked.
"One of your students." Snowflake said.
Stormy finally noticed Dolores and Yarrow.
"Dolores, what are you doing here?" Stormy asked.
"We found out that we're going to go to a new school tomorrow," Dolores said.
"Snowy, can you and Yarrow wait near the couch?" Stormy asked
"Sure." Snowflake said walking out with Yarrow.
"What did you want to talk about?" Stormy asked.
"I've been hiding my feelings because I'm not brave and now I'm going to go to the most elite all filly boarding school," Dolores said.
"There's someone I think you and Yarrow should talk to later but first tell me more," Stormy said.
"I don't want to continue living a lie, I want to be free to be myself," Dolores said.
"Follow me," Stormy said.
Stormy lead Dolores to the couch Yarrow was sitting on.
"Snowflake, go get your aunt," Stormy said.
Fluttershy flew down the stairs with Chrysalis and Cadence behind her.
"No need, why do you want me?" Fluttershy asked.
"We have two visitors I think you should meet," Stormy said.
"Hi," Yarrow and Dolores said in unison.
"Fluttershy meet Dolores and Yarrow they're you know who's foals," Stormy said.
"When we got home we saw mom rip out her heart," Dolores said.
"You mean she actually had one in her chest?" Fluttershy asked.
"Yes, why?" Dolores asked.
"If my sister had her heart back that means the impossible could've happened," Fluttershy said.
"What do you mean?" Dolores asked.
"You see Dolores you moms real name's Belle," Stormy said.
"Seriously?" Dolores asked. "Like who we learned about in class?"
"Yep," Stormy said. "I was once innocent and very forgiving but Belle ruined that belief of mind that everyone could be forgiven."
"Is that why your voice sounds so cold?" Yarrow asked.
"Yep," Stormy said.
"What's going on?" a grayish pink pegasus foal around Dolores age asked dragging a blanket down the stairs.
"Hi, Nettie," Dolores said.
"Dory, what are you doing here?" Garnet asked.
"I'm going to a boarding school," Dolores said.
"No, you can't leave," Garnet said.
"I don't want to," Dolores said.
"You got to stay so that I have someone to pick on and someone to tease me back," Garnet said.
"I'll miss you too." Dolores chuckled well hugging Garnet who lightly punched her in return.
"We better get back before anyone wakes up," Yarrow said.
"Goodbye," Fluttershy said.
Dolores teleported herself and Yarrow back to the cave landing on her face.
"That was too far you shouldn't have done that at once," Yarrow said.
"Where have you two been?" Blueberry asked angrily
"We were meeting the teacher she had an appointment with," Yarrow said.
"We're heading to the train station," Blueberry said
On the train...
Yarrow and Dolores were already asleep.
"I can't believe we're going to the most elite filly boarding school!" Blueberry said.
"I don't want to be attracted to fillies," Loralei said.
"I'm sure you'll find the perfect colt that will help you someday," Blueberry said.
"Are you excited to meet your roommate?" Loralei asked.
"Yes, are you?" Blueberry asked.
"Yes, but it's going to be weird not sleeping in a cave," Loralei said.
"Who's your roommate?" Blueberry asked.
"Pétillante," Loralei said.
"Arista," Blueberry said. "Can you please sing me a song?"
"You know I would if I could," Loralei said before looking around. "Though, I guess it's safe,"
"Thanks," Blueberry said.
"Once there was a pony who's actions were misjudged, she only tried doing what was best, fate was cruel so she pushed her dear sister away, and that foolish pony did nothing to stop the one who had needed her most. She wanted troubles to be far from her sister's mind, and be forgiven for being so blind, the years now before them, fearful and alone, she never imagined facing them on her own." Loralei sang.
A magical fog was all over the train cart. Yarrow and Dolores woke up coughing.
"That was beautiful," Blueberry said.
"Thanks, I heard mom sing something similar," Loralei said.
"Why did you sing?" Yarrow asked still coughing.
"Blueberry wanted me to and no one else was awake," Loralei said.
Once they were at school they went to find their rooms should that they could drop off their things.
"Welcome, which one of you is Loralei?" a light purple pegasus with scarlet red eyes asked.
"That would be me," Loralei said.
"My name's Pétillante but you can call me Sparkleworks or Sparky if it's easier. Follow me to our room." Pétillante said.
Loralei levitated her thing well walking behind Pétillante.
"Are you Arista then?" Blueberry asked.
"Yes, follow me I know this place better than pretty much anyone else," Arista said.
"Yarrow, you're with me," Shady said running up behind them well levitating her bags.
"It's nice to see a familiar face," Yarrow said.
"Likewise," Shady said.
Shady and Yarrow made their bed before putting their saddlebags on and leaving.
"What class are you going to?" Shady asked. "I got Creative writing,"
"Old ponish," Umbriel said.
"Etiquette and fashion," Dolores and Yarrow said in unison.
"Oh no, I was put in music," Loralei said.
"We should go," Blueberry said.
Arista and Pétillante took Dolores and Yarrow to etiquette and fashion since they were going there anyway.
"Yarrow, can you come to me?" Fleur asked.
Yarrow slowly flew over to Fleur.
"What is it?" Yarrow asked.
"Listen this school is going to be tough for you," Fleur whispered.
"What do you mean?" Yarrow asked.
"I was sent to an all filly boarding school despite not fully being a filly," Fleur whispered.
"Ren, I got a letter from Cyrus." a white unicorn with greyish blue eyes said.
"What does it say?" Fleur asked.
"He said he misses us and that he hopes we're doing well." the white unicorn said.
"Thanks, Kendall. See you later." Fleur said.
As Kendall walked out the rest of the class walked in and took their seats. Yarrow and Dolores sat near Arista and Pétillante.
"I need to go," Dolores said bolting out of the classroom.
Yarrow flew after Dolores as fast as they could in the tight uniform.
"Dolores, what's wrong?" Yarrow asked.
"Nothing," Dolores said.
"Is it about Garnet?" Yarrow asked.
"A little," Dolores said.
"You can tell me anything," Yarrow said.
"I'm not fully a filly," Dolores whispered.
"Is there something else you want to be called by?" Yarrow asked.
"Call me Douglas for now," Douglas said.
"Alright, Doug let's go to class," Yarrow said.
"I'm scared," Douglas said.
"I'm here for you," Yarrow said.
"Thanks, Yarrow," Douglas said.
"No problem now let's go to class," Yarrow said.
The two of them headed back to class until Douglas fainted.
"What happened?" Kendall asked walking to them.
"They fell down," Yarrow said.
"Here let me help," Kendall said levitating Douglas.
Kendall and Yarrow talked for a while before they started to head to Fleur's classroom.
"Remember to dress well for the dance tomorrow. This is one of the few times that you'll get to hang around colts." Spoiled said though the intercom.
"Do we have to go?" Yarrow asked.
"Sadly yes," Fleur said.
"Don't worry you and Doug can be with my siblings and me," Kendall said.
Douglas was starting to regain consciousness.
"Princess Kendall this arrived for you," Hilda said.
"Thanks, Hilda but can you please not call me princess?" Kendall asked.
"Of course, sorry Kenny," Hilda said.
"Thanks," Kendall said.
"No problem," Hilda said before leaving.
"What is it?" Fleur asked.
"It's from Cyrus. He says that Shooting Stars is doing great and that they were planning on asking out Firefly but they were too late." Kendall said.
At dinner...
"What dresses are you planning to wear?" Shady asked.
"Plaid," Blueberry said.
"Mine will look like music notes are falling," Loralei said.
"Mine is going to be a black ruffled dress," Umbriel said.
"Mine is going to look like a gray version of Umbriel's but with a bow," Shady said.
"Dolores, which of your pink dresses are you going to wear?" Loralei asked.
"Um...." Douglas started.
"Let's finish dinner," Yarrow said.
"When we're done we should head back to our dorms and study," Blueberry said.
"Before the dance tomorrow, we should prepare together," Umbriel said.
The next day...
"I was finally able to convince Blueberry if my mane was going to be styled any way that it would be in waves," Yarrow said.
"At least you don't have to wear a frilly pink dress," Douglas said.
"Do you have any less frilly dresses?" Kendall asked.
"Very few," Douglas said.
"Loralei didn't pack the fake dress for me," Yarrow said.
"I wish I could do that spell," Fleur said. "I'll be there at the dance, don't be afraid to come to me."
"Ok." Yarrow and Douglas said in unison.
Later...
"You look wonderful," Umbriel said looking at Blueberry.
"Thanks, so do you," Blueberry said.
"Loralei that dress really brings out your eyes," Shady said.
"Thanks, wow that dress really suits you," Loralei said.
"Thanks," Shady said.
"Dolores you look wonderful," Loralei said.
"Where are your glasses?" Douglas asked looking at Blueberry.
"They're invisible because I didn't like them with this look," Blueberry said.
"Yarrow you look...." Loralei started.
"Can we go now?" Yarrow asked.
The six of them found Noelle and Pétillante so they followed them to the dance.
Douglas and Yarrow found Kendall and walked over to them.
"You two look miserable," Kendall said.
"So do you." Douglas and Yarrow said in unison.
"Kenny, how are you?" Earl asked.
"I'm good. Just wish I wasn't called princess." Kendall said.
"At least you don't have to deal with guards," Earl said.
"Earl and Lux I want you to meet my two new friends. Sure you might've met them before but you need to remeet them." Kendall said.
"I'm Yarrow and this is my sibling, Douglas," Yarrow said.
"It's nice to remeet you two. I'm Lux but I'm fine with Lumi." Lux said.
"If Earl doesn't feel right just call be El," Earl said.
"Blueberry is acting strange," Shady said walking over to the five ponies. "I was told she might be having a panic attack,"
"Find Loralei and let her know," Yarrow said. "Where's Blueberry?"
"Not far from where we entered," Shady said before leaving to find Loralei.
Yarrow and Douglas went near where they entered and found Blueberry against a wall.
"Blueberry, my magic is still around you," Umbriel said softly.
Shady walked towards them with Loralei by her side.
"Loralei you must sing," Yarrow said.
"But there are too many ponies," Loralei said.
"Yarrows right you need to sing to calm Blueberry down," Douglas said.
"I can cast a soundproof shield around you and Blueberry," Umbriel said.
"That would work thanks," Loralei said.
"Ok then everyone else behind me now," Umbriel said.
After she was sure everyone else was behind her Umbriel casted the soundproof spell.
"Everyone feels like theirs a chance that they'll fall, everyone feels like the light is out of reach, sometimes we may give up without a fight, the bitterness and pain inside,
We must face all of our fears, I'll never betray you, I'll never let you go, in the rain or the dark, I will be by your side." Loralei sang.
"Thanks," Blueberry said.
Loralei nodded to Umbriel and the spell was lifted.
"Would you dance with me?" a brown unicorn foal with a dark gray mane asked.
"Who me?" Blueberry asked.
"Why of course, you're very beautiful." the brown foal said.
Blueberry look around and sighed looking back at the brown unicorn.
"One dance won't hurt I guess," Blueberry said. "What's your name?"
"It's Rumple as in Rumplestiltskin," Rumple said. "What's your name?"
"Blueberry, and..." Blueberry started.
"Excuse me I need to borrow my sister," Loralei said pulling Blueberry.
"What is it?" Blueberry asked.
"You shouldn't dance with someone you don't like," Loralei said.
"I have to dance with someone, " Blueberry said.
"No, you don't," Loralei said. "Sis, are you afraid that you might disappoint mom?"
"Perhaps," Blueberry said.
"Sis, you won't disappoint mom just because you haven't found a colt you like yet," Loralei said.
"Um, my brothers waiting for you to dance with him." a light gray unicorn foal with a pearly white mane said. "He didn't mean to make you uncomfortable."
Loreleis' heart started to flutter seeing the foal in front of her. The pearly white mane and the short purple dress seemed to enchant Loralei.
"Loralei, are you alright?" Blueberry asked.
"Hi Loralei, my name's Pear Prue it's nice to meet you," Pearl said. "Do you want to dance?"
"Um, why?" Loralei asked blushing.
"We have to dance with someone it's mandatory and there are more students from our school then my brothers," Pearl said.
"Oh well ok," Loralei said.
Pearl dragged Loralei out on the dance floor.
"Ready?" Rumple asked.
"Sure," Blueberry said.
"You're a great dancer," Pearl said.
"Thanks," Loralei said.
"Why are you wearing a dress that makes you unhappy?'" Pearl asked.
"What are you talking about?' Loralei asked.
"How do you not see it?' Pearl asked.
"See what?" Loralei asked confused.
"You have to discover that yourself," Pearl said.
"I don't understand what you're talking about," Loralei said.
"Just dance with me," Pearl said.
"I'm sorry for making you uncomfortable it's just that I need someone to dance with," Rumple said.
"Oh, that's ok," Blueberry said.
When Rumple put his front hooves on Blueberry she flinched.
"It's ok, I'm only doing this for the dance," Rumple said.
"Can you loosen your grip?" Blueberry asked.
"Sure," Rumple said even though he was barely gripping onto her.
Blueberry flinched and looked into Rumple's eyes.
"Can we just hold hooves well dancing?" Blueberry asked.
"Of course," Rumple said now holding Blueberry's hooves.
"That feels a bit better," Blueberry said.
"Wow it does, I've always wanted to do this but no one lets me so I just do the dance that they want," Rumple said.
Blueberry smiled the brightest smile she had ever smiled.
"I have never felt like this before," Blueberry said.
"Same, I think it's a squish," Rumple said.
"What's that?" Blueberry asked.
"I'm not good at explaining but it's basically a nonromantic crush," Rumple said.
"That's possible?" Blueberry asked.
"Yeah," Rumple said.
"That's awesome," Blueberry said.
"You know you don't have to hold on so tightly," Pearl said with a smirk.
Loralei turned crimson red and loosened her grip.
"Sorry I didn't notice," Loralei said.
"Pearl Prudence Rich, get away from Loralei!" Spoiled said.
"There are more students from our school though," Pearl said.
"You will not corrupt Loralei." Spoiled said.
"I wasn't," Pearl said.
"Gold Digger, will you please dance with Loralei?" Spoiled asked.
"How rich is she ma?" Gold Digger asked.
"Her family has lots of money but have to live in a cave to keep their family safe, but her ma is kind of a ruler." Spoiled said.
Gold Digger twirled Loralei around before looking at her over and whistling.
"Ohh, that dress would be even better on you if it were seethrough." Gold Digger said.
"That inappropriate," Pearl said.
"No, it's not. You were the one being inappropriate with what you were trying to do with Loralei." Spoiled said.
"Loralei, are you alright?" Blueberry asked flying over to her with Rumple walking nearby.
"Yeah, I'm fine sis," Loralei said.
"You don't look fine, your cheeks are crimson," Blueberry said.
"Blueberry, I want you to dance with Prince Earl if he's not already dancing with someone. Rumplstikin go dance with Hilda." Spoiled said.
"Who are you going to assign me with?" Pearl asked.
"Go dance with Angel." Spoiled said.
Gold Digger grabbed Loraleis' flank causing her to shink.
"Get off her jerk!" Pearl said lighting up her horn.
"Don't you dare!" Spoiled said.
Pearl shot Gold Digger off of Loralei leaving a mark from the blast on Gold Diggers' side.
"You're a monster and expelled," Spoiled said to Pearl said.
"All I did was save Loralei," Pearl said.
"She didn't need any saving now get your homosexual flank out of my school!" Spoiled yelled.
"Fine, I'll pack my stuff and leave this place but I'll tell my dad and pa the reason that you expelled me is that your son's a catcaller," Pearl said before teleporting away.
"Mrs. Spolied either my pa or dad will be happy that you expelled Pearl," Rumple said.
"Unless you want to be expelled too, go dance with the ophan donkey." Spoiled said.
"Yes ma'am," Rumple said.
Spoiled smiled before leaving. Blueberry walked over to Rumple.
"Sis what are you doing?" Loralei asked.
Blueberry looked into Rumple's eyes and smiled.
"Thank you for everything." Blueberry said.
"No problem," Rumple said.
They all went to who they were assigned to dance with.
"Do I need to loosen my grip?" Earl asked.
"Yes, please," Blueberry said.
Earl loosened the grip on Blueberry and smiled awkwardly.
"Is this better?" Earl asked.
"Not much, can we just hold hooves well dancing?" Blueberry asked.
"Sure," Earl said now holding Blueberry's hooves.
"You look uncomfortable," Blueberry said.
"So do you," Earl said.
"Rumple taught me little about squishes, can you tell me more?" Blueberry asked.
"It's basically a platonic crush for aromantics is the best way that I can explain it," Earl said.
"What's aromantic?" Blueberry asked.
"It just means that someone doesn't feel romantic attraction," Earl said.
"That's so awesome but, why have I never heard of it before?" Blueberry asked.
"Simple, because no one told you that it was ok not being attached to anyone," Earl said.
After the dance in Douglas and Umbriels' room...
"We need to contact mom," Loralei said.
"We need to do that too," Umbriel said.
Loralei summoned a bowl of magic and then added some potions to it.
"I hope this works," Loralei said.
Umbriel uncovered a mirror and added crystals to it.
"This should work," Umbriel said after tapping on two crystals and backing up.
"How are my little fillies?" Radiant Hope and Sweetie Belle asked in unison.
"Good." four of the six foals said in unison.
"Was there a dance?" Radiant Hope asked.
"Yes, we got assigned, dance partners from the colts school," Umbriel said.
"Who were the lovely colts and their parents?" Radiant Hope and Sweetie Belle asked in unison.
"Gold Digger was the name was the colt I danced with he was the headmares son," Loralei said. "We were assigned, dance partners because a filly was trying to dance with me and thought that Gold Digger was being inappropriate."
"What was the name of the filly?" Sweetie Belle asked angrily.
"Pearl Prudence but she got expelled during the dance," Loralei said.
"That's good." Sweetie Belle said.
"Since Pearl Prudence got expelled I was told to dance with Angel from the Cake family," Yarrow said.
"Since someone got hurt I was told to dance with Prince Lucius son of Prince Blueblood," Shady said.
"I danced with Lava from the Cake family," Douglas said.
"I danced with Aerglo son of Cozy Glow," Umbriel said.
"I danced with Prince Earl son of Prince Blueblood," Blueberry said.
"She also danced with Pear Prudence's twin brother." Loralei said.
"My back hurts badly," Shady and Umbriel said in unison.
Radiant Hope looked at her daughters in horror.
"My forehead hurts," Yarrow said.
"Your horn is coming back. When I foalnapped you I was saving you from a confused pony changeling hybrid and pegasus." Sweetie Belle said with a sigh.
"I guess it's time for me to tell you about your father." Radiant Hope said with a sigh.
"Really?" Shady asked.
"Yep, you see your father was a Tenebrosus and his name was Schatten." Radiant Hope said. "Your Tenebrosus forms are starting to form."
"Now why would an ex-healer end up with a Tenebrosus?" Sweetie Belle asked.
"I'm still a healer!" Radiant Hope said before cleaning her throat. "I made it to the Shadow realm before the Crystal Empire disappeared and over the thousands of years which for me hardly felt like any I got to me Schatten."
