Los Angeles Ca.USA.Earth.
North Hollywood.


A house located just off of Victory Blvd,was the scene of a horrific murder.This murder was a top priority.L.A.P.D. was on the scene.The victim was inside the house.Outside.Uniformed officers were posted at the front and back door.To keep out the press,as well as nosy residents.Black and Whites and The Coroners van and SID were in front.Crime scene tape was around the front yard.

An unmarked Ford Crown Victoria pulled up,and 2 detectives exited the car and walked up to the scene.After showing their badges to the 2 uniformed officers at the front door,the detectives,Pete Miller and Ignacio)Nacho) Rojas walked in and saw what looked liked something out of a slasher movie.

The body of a male was found cut into pieces.The legs were found on a reclining chair in the living room.The torso was on the couch.The arms were on the coffee table.The head was on the end table.And there was so much blood,splatter on the walls.Pools of blood on the floor.

As Miller and Rojas walked around.They saw Rachel Webber and Gil Zepeda from SID and her assistants gathering forensic evidence.And Don Chu from The Coroners Office was examing the body parts.

Miller looked at one of the uniformed officers and asked,"What happened??"

The officer replied,"Well.As far as I know.We have a white male,late 20s,early 30s,cut to pieces."

Zapeda  came up and said,"Detectives.We have an ID on the victim.Henry Wilkins.31.Worked as a research scientist.At Valley Hospital near Van Nuys."

Miller said,"OK.And what did this to him??"

Chu replied,"I don't know,but my best guess.Some kind of blade,like a sword maybe.I'll know more when I get him on my table."

Rojas said,"Hey amigo.Take a look at this."

They looked at the wall and saw a messege written in blood.

"THE BLOOD IS THE COST OF BETRAYAL"

Rojas then asked,"What do you suppose this means??"

Miller replied,"It looks like this was some kind of ritual sacrifice.Judging by the way the body was cut up."

Just then another uniformed officer came from the back of the house and said,"Detectives.Something you need to see.In the bedroom."

Miller and Rojas walked in the bedroom and saw a photo of a woman on the dresser and in the next room was set up for a baby.With a crib,diaper changing table,stuffed toys and more baby things.

Rojas then asked,"OK man.So where is the wife and baby??"

Miller replied,"I don't know,but this is certain.She is either a suspect,or."

Rojas asked,"Or what??"

Miller sighed and replied,"Or,we may have two more victims to find."

Miller and Rojas went to the parents of Henry Wilkins,to make the notification.The mother was devistated,the father became numb.

A few days later Miller and Rojas were at their desks in The Robbery-Homicide Division at Parker Center.They had just come back from The Coroners Office on North Mission Road in Lincoln Heights.Don Chu was correct.The victim Henry Wilikins was cut up with a sword.And died from blood loss.The body being cut up was also actually pre-mortem.Miller and Rojas both thought the killer was indeed barbaric.

Both detectives were looking over the crime scene photos and drinking coffee.

Rojas said,"Whoever killed The Wilkins guy.I think he may have enjoyed his time and taunted the victim as he was killing him."

Miller replied,"Yeah,but whats up with the writing on the wall in blood.It kinda reminds me of "The Tate-Lobianco Murders commited by Charles Manson's followers in the 60s."

Rojas then said,Maybe he and his wife belonged to a cult or something.

Then Captain Ken Foreman walked in and was briefed.

Foreman asked,Any word on the wife or the kid??

Miller replied.The kid aint here yet.According to the neighbors.The wife name Debbie is 8 months pregnant right now.

Rojas then said And nothing from area hospitals on her or the baby.

Miller then said,And I put out an APB and a BOLO Not just for L.A.County,but Orange,Riverside,San Bernardino,San Diego and Santa Barbara Counties.And so far,zip.

Foreman said,Well.If you don't get anything in the next 24 hours.Send it to Cold Case.You have other investigations to conduct.

Miller and Rojas worked the case for another day,but no new leads came in.The case was now cold.Miller was at his desk.He decided to go home to his wife June,and 10 year old son Tim,but he would continue to work the case if any new leads came in.

About a month and a half later.Pete had found out that the victims family had decided to sell off everything he owned.Pete went on his day off to the estate sale,and met with Mr Wilkins.As Pete was looking around,he saw an unusual object on display.It didn't look like anything he ever saw in his life.Something inside of Pete told him,he should take this object.

Pete asked,Mr.Wilkins.What do you know about this thing?

Mr.Wilkins replied,I don't really know.I asked my son.He said it was just something that he bought in a flea market in Pasadena.Why,Do you want it??

Pete said,If it's allright.I'll buy it right now.How much?

Mr Wilkins thought for a moment and said,You can have it for $20.00 I just want it gone.

Pete said,Sold.and pulled out his wallet and paid.

Pete then went home and packed a bag.His cop instincts told him that this was not something to keep at home,but hidden away.To keep June and Tim safe.Thankfully June and Tim were at her parents house in Santa Ana in Orange County for the weekend.

After packing a bag.Pete drove up to his fathers hunting cabin up in Big Bear,stopping at a General Store for some food and supplies.After he got to the cabin.Pete entered and sat at the table.And opened the box he put the object.An amulet that looked like a black alicorn.Pete noticed that the wings could unfold.As Pete unfolded the wings,a jewel in the center shot a beam,which opened a portal to another world.Pete looked at it for several minutes before closing the wings to close the portal.

Pete couldn't believe his eyes,then he had a thought,"What if.What if Debbie Wilikns and her baby went through this portal and ended up on wherever the other side is??"

Pete knew he couldn't report this to The L.A.P.D. brass.They would think he was crazy,or they would notify the feds who would take it for research and it would never be seen again.Pete knew he had to hide the amulet,but where.He thought.Then Pete saw it,like a beacon.He saw his old "ADAM-12"Lunchbox from when he was a kid."ADAM-12"was Pete's favorite TV show growing up.It was the expolits of Officer Pete Malloy (Martin Milner)and his partner Officer Jim Reed (Kent McCord) that inspired Pete to join The L.A.P.D. himself.

Pete opened the TV show themed lunch box and found the thermos that cam with it.Pete opened it and it was clean.Pete then put the amulet in an envelope and placed the object in side and closed the lid,then wrote 2 letters,one went into the lunchbox.Pete then closed it and put it on the shelf.Pete then thought,"The best way to hide something.Hide it in plain sight."

The next day.Pete drove back to Los Angeles and went to a law firm located at Arco Plaza on Flower Street in Downtown.Pete then saw the lawyer he wanted to see.Ken Gilman.Who Pete grew up with in Eagle Rock,when they were kids.In fact they were like brothers.

Gilman walked into the lobby and hugged Pete and said,"Pete.How's it going man?"

Pete replied,"Everythings good."

Gilman asked,"How are June and Tim."

Pete replied,June is good.Tim is getting bigger all the time.Say do you have a few minutes?I need a favor."

Gilman replied,"Sure man.Come on in."

As Pete and Gilman and spoke in his office.Pete handed him an envelope.And told him what he wanted Gilman to do.

Pete said,I want you to give this to Tim.If anything should happen to me.

Gilman asked,Is everything OK Pete?

Pete replied,What?Oh yeah man.I'm just being prepared,you know just in case.I'll pay whatever you want.

Gilman replied,No way man.This is on the house.I'll take care of it.

Pete said,Thanks buddy.Well I gotta go.June and Tim will be home in a couple of hours,See ya Ken.

The 2 friends shook hands.And Pete went home,to see June and Tim.And get ready for work on Monday.
> Chapter 2.Cold Case.

Los Angeles Ca.
18 years later.

Over the years.Life for Pete had it's Ups and Downs.Pete was still  able to maintain a loving relationship with his wife June and his son Tim.And they were very close.Pete was still in Robbery-Homicide.His partner had been promoted and was now a Captain,commanding Robbery-Homicide Division at The L.A.P.D.s new headquarters on 1st and Spring Streets in Downtown after Parker Center was closed down due to the buildings age.

Over the years new clues came in on The Wilkins case,but nothing that panned out,but Pete kept on it.He took copies of the case file and his own notes.Every so often he would go to his hunting cabin in Big Bear,to think and hide what he found.Sadly June had died of Ovarian Cancer when Tim was 15,so it was just 2 of them now.Pete would never remarry.

After graduating High School.Tim enlisted in The United States Army,and spent his first 2 years as an Infantryman,later 
being selected for Ranger training,and would spend another 5 years,with deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq.After Tim was honorably discharged at the rank of Staff Sergeant.Tim followed in his dads foot steps and joined The L.A.P.D.

After graduating from the academy.Tim was assigned to Southwest Division.Later assigned to Hollywood Division,where he worked patrol.Then 4 years later.Tim made Detective.

Meanwhile Pete was at his desk about to go home and have dinner and call it a night.Just then his desk phone rang.

Pete answered,"Robbery-Homicide.Miller.Yeah.You sure?This better be legit.Right 1 hour.I'll be there."And hung up.

As Pete was getting his jacket,His boss and oldest friend Captain Ignacio(Nacho) Rojas came up to Pete's desk.

Rojas asked,"Que paso Hermano?What's you got?"

Pete answered,"Just a lead on an old case."

Henry replied,"You mean.The Wilkin's murder from 2000?"

Pete answered,"Yeah.The Wilkins murder."

Rojas then said,Dammit Pete."This case has had you obsessed for almost 20 years.If Cold Case hasn't come up with anything.Then why the hell are you still working it?"

Pete pulled the picture of Henry Wilkins then pregnant wife Debbie and answered,"It's because of them Henry.I can't let it go,until I know what happened to Debbie Wilkin's and her baby."

Rojas said,"I know man,but it's this obsession that kept you from making Captain.You should be running this division.Not me."

Pete replied,"No way bro.I never had the ambition."

Rojas said,"OK.Mano,but this case.You should just let it go."

Pete then said,"Look.Let me follow this lead.And if it dosen't pan out.Then I'll let it go.For good."

Rojas asked,"You promise??"

Pete answered."Yeah.I promise."

Rojas then said,"Allright mano.Get going.Vamos."

Pete put on his jacket and checked his Colt Python .357magnum 2 1/2in barreled revolver.And left.Later on Pete ended up at the address he wrote down.It was in a warehouse district,near Alameda and Washington Blvd.Pete checked his gun again and exited the unmarked Ford Crown Victoria.And walked in to the warehouse.A homeless man across the street saw Pete.He would be the last one to see Detective Pete Miller,alive.

Pete's car radio crackled,"1-William-42,come in.......1-1-4 to 1-William-42,come in........All units on all frequencies.we have a missing officer......1-William-42....Detective -3 Peter Miller,has failed to respond to radio calls.....Last seen in area of Downtown Los Angeles.....Officer is now missing...Driving an unmarked vehicle...Shop Number 582962.......All units if vehicle or officer are found,notify 1-1-4."In the warehouse the sound of gunshots,and blood curling screams could be heard.The homeless man ran and found a payphone and dailed 911,gave the information and ran off into the night.


An hour later Captain Henry Rojas drove up and was meet by L.A.P.D.brass,and walked into the wharehouse,and what he saw,made Henry cross himself and say,"Jesus.Maria,ye todo Santos."( Jesus.Mary,and all The Saints.) The Chief of Police arrived and asked,"Captain Rojas.What do we have?"

Rojas replied,"Sir.It's Pete Miller.He's dead."

The Chief said,"Show me."

Rojas lead the chief into the building and saw SID techs doing their work.And The M.E.was examining what was a horrific scene.Pete,cut into pieces.His arms were on a table in the shape of an X.His right arm was cut in two,just below the elbow.His legs were cut into several pieces and stacked like wood.Pete"s torso was also on the table standing up with his inards dangling from it.However the worst part was Pete's head.It was severed from his body and his badge was in his mouth.

The Chief asked,"What in Gods name happened to Miller?"

Rojas replied,"I don't know sir,but I think it is related to a cold case Miller was working on.The Wilkins homicide from 19 years ago."

The Chief then asked,"And why the hell was he still working on a case from nearly 2 decades ago?And why the hell was he cut up like that?And why did the killer shove Pete's badge in his mouth?"

Rojas then said,"I gave him permission.Pete said he had a new lead,he wanted to check out."

One of the SID techs walked up and said,"Sirs.We found Detective Millers gun.All six rounds were fired.And we also found traces of blood."

Then The Chief asked,"Dosen't Miller have a son?"

Rojas answered,"Yes sir.Tim.He's on the job.He's now a Detective out of Hollywood Division.I called his Lieutenant.He's on duty.He doesn't know.Chief.I should make notification.Pete and I were friends for years.And I'm also Tim's godfather."

The Chief agreed.Rojas left the scene and drove to Hollywood.When he arrived at the station.Tim was already in a conference room.Rojas walked in and said,Tim.

Tim replied,"Hey Tio.What's going on."

Rojas then told Tim that his father was dead.The only sound that came from the room.

"WHAT!!!OH DEAR GOD NO!!!!!!DAD!!!!!!"

Tim lost it and cried uncontrolablly.Rojas held his godson in his arms.And cried with him.

A week later.Detective 3 Peter Miller was laid to rest in the cemetary that his family were all buried in in South San Gabriel.
Police Officers.Sheriffs Deputies.California Highway Patrol Officers and Federal Officers from all over Southern California came to pay their respects to a fallen officer,who died in the line of duty.Pete was eulogized by The Chief,The Mayor.Nacho.All his friends past and present.Tim was there in his Class-A uniform.The Honor Guard fired a 21 gun salute.The American Flag on his coffin was folded into a triangle and was handed to The Chief,who gave it to Tim,and saluted him.When the funeral was over Tim was looking at his dad's coffin,holding the flag behind his back.Rojas came up and said,Tim.I just got a call.My men arrested a suspect in your dads murder.

Tim said,Let's go.I wanna see him.

Back at L.A.P.D.Headqurters,A suspect.Some homeless man was in The Interrorgation room was being questioned.

Rojas asked one of the detectives,Did you run this guys prints?

Detective Artus Johnson replied,Yeah Cap.We got a hit from DOD.Sgt.Micheal Davis.United States Marine Corps.Served in Afghanistan and Iraq.Got out in 2011.And we found a bloody machete in his belongings.SID is checking it now.Funny thing.He claims he called 911 when Pete was you know.

Tim then went inside the room and talked to the man.

Tim asked,DID YOU KILL MY FATHER???ANSWER ME!!!!

Davis meekly replied,I didn't kill nobody man.I don't know you man,or your old man.

Tim grabbed Davis and slammed him against the wall,and yelled.DON"T LIE TO ME FUCKER!!!!YOU KILLED MY DAD!!!YOU KILLED A COP!!!!!THAT MEANS THE GAS CHAMBER FOR YOU!!!!!!!TALK AND MAYBE I'LL TALK THE JUDGE INTO JUST SENDING YOU UP FOR LIFE!!!COME ON!!!OUT WITH IT!!!!!

Rojas yelled,TIM!!!!THATS ENOUGH!!!!GET AWAY FROM HIM!!!!YOU'LL GET THIS CASE THROWN OUT OF COURT!!!!!!!!!

Tim let Davis go.Rojas said,Go home ahijado.Get your head on straight.

Tim left for home and got drunk.For a week.
> Chapter 3.The search for answers.

Tim was at home,hungover from his weeklong bender,after his dads funeral.and was sleeping in front of the TV.When there was a knock on his front door.Tim grogolly got up from the couch to answer it.

Tim asked,"Who is it?"

The voice on the other said replied,"Tim Miller.I have a special delivery for you."

Tim opened the door and saw the deliveryman,who gave Tim the envolope and said,"Sign here please."

Tim signed and the deliveryman left.When Tim closed the door,he sat back on the couch,and opened the envolope.From a law firm.He saw a note it read as follows.

"Tim."

"Go to The Bear.Find  1-Adam-12."

"Dad."

Tim was flabergasted.After a few monents.Tim composed himself and took a shower and finally sobered up.After he got dressed and got into his truck.Tim knew where to go.He drove to Big Bear.It was late spring,so the snow had melted,and their were no skiers,so he wouldn't have to worry about anybody popping up.Tim stopped at The General Store and bought groceries and other stuff for the weekend and finally made it to the hunting cabin,he and Pete made so many wonderful memories.Tim felt a tear in his eye,but focused on the task at hand.

Tim entered the cabin and found what he was looking for.He found The Adam-12 lunchbox and opened it.He saw the thermos and a note in side,he read the note.

"Tim."

"Look to The Jackalope."

"Dad."

Tim smiled.He understood what Pete meant,and went to his room and saw The Jackalope,mounted on the wall.Tim took it down and found a hole.He looked in side and found a briefcase.He took it and opened it.He saw a file and another letter.A long one.

"Dear Tim."

"If your reading this,then that means I'm most likely dead.And It was this case that lead to it.First.I want to say I'm so sorry for leaving you like this.I wanted to have more time with you.Aside from being a cop.You were the greatest joy of my life,since the day you were born.I tried to be a good dad.,And I hope that I was.When your a cop.Over the years I have learned,is there is always a case that you couldn't solve.The Wilkins murder was mine.Read the file.And then,look into the thermos,in my old "Adam-12"lunchbox."

"Love Dad."

Tim spent the week,reading the file and his dads notes and saw the crime scene photos.After hours of reading.Tim went and grabbed the lunch box on the mantle.When he opened it,Tim opened the thermos and found the amulet,and a note.

"Point the front away from you,and open the wings."

"Dad."


Tim followed the instructions and opened the wings and a beam of light opened the same portal Pete saw years before.He closed it a minute later.Then Tim found another letter.

"Tim."

"What you have is a portal,which what I think leads to another world.I know it sounds crazy,but I know it's true.As you read the file.You now know that Henry Wilkins wife Debbie and unborn baby,which I found out later was going to be a boy.are both missing.What I believe is this.Henry Wilkins and his wife were members of a blood cult.And I think Debbie and her baby were going to be sacrificed.I think Henry Wilkins had a change of heart and wanted his son to live.And I believe that Debbie Wilkins was sent thru the portal.And that is why Henry Wilkins was murdered and mutilated like he was.Like the messege on the wall in blood.He betrayed his masters and payed for it.Over the years.I put the pieces together.I would have gone to this place myself,but I had you and your mom to think about.Tim.I am sorry to do this,but I leave it to you to solve this case.Now take your time to prepare.And under no circumstances are you to tell anyone what you are doing.Not even your Uncle Nacho.It's for his safety.And yours.I don't know what you will find on the other side,but I hope you find what I could not.Remember Tim what I always told since you were a boy.No matter where lifes journey takes you.Your mom and I will be with you.Always."

"Love Dad."

After Tim read everything.He put the amulet away.And put the file away as well and left back for L.A.He went to his godfathers house.After he arrived he walked up and rang the doorbell.His Godmother,who was also Nachos wife who he called Tia Esperanza.answered the door.

Tim said,"Tia.Come esta??"

Esperanza replied,"Tim.Muy bein.Usted??"

Tim replied,"Ta bein garcias.Is Tio home?"

Esperanza said,"Yeah.He is in the back.He will be happy to see you.Come in.Come in."

As Tim entered he went to the backyard and said,"Hi Tio."

Nacho turned and smiled and said,"Tim.I'm glad to see you.Come sit.You want a beer?"

Tim nodded and Nacho went inside and brought back to bottles of ice cold beer.As the 2 men drank,they talked.

Nacho asked,"So where were you all week."

Tim replied,"I was up at the cabin in Big Bear.I needed to clear my head.Anyway Tio there is something I need to talk to you about."

Nacho replied,"OK.Talk to me."

Tim said,"I don't think Micheal Davis killed my dad."

Nacho asked,"What do you base this on?"

Tim replied,"He called 911.Why would he do that if he killed my dad?And according to the transcripts from the interrogation He said he was passed out.And I think,the machete was planted on him.And who better to pin a murder on,than a homeless vet,with PTSD.Especially,the murder of a police officer."

Nacho then said,"WellI don't know.And anyway.It doesn't matter anymore."

Tim asked,"What do mean Tio??"

Nacho replied,"Davis already plead guilty to your dads murder.He got a life sentence for pleading,in exchange for the death penalty being taken off the table.He goes to San Quentin next week.We tried to get ahold of you,but we didn't know where you were."

Tim finished his beer and said",I gotta go Tio."

Nacho already knew where his godson was going,but left it alone.As Tim was about to leave.Esperanza came to the back yard and saw Tim putting his jacket back on.

Esperanza asked,"Tim.Are you leaving.I was hoping you would stay for dinner.I'm making enchiladas,rice and beans."

Tim smiled and replied,"Rain Check Tia.Something I gotta do."

Tim kissed his godmother and said goodbye to Nacho and left.30 minutes later Tim arrived at The Los Angeles County Jail,and showed his L.A.P.D.badge and asked to see Micheal Davis.After checking in his own off duty gun.A Smith and Wesson .38 five shot snubbie.Tim was led by a Sheriff's Deputy to a conference room.Davis was brought in in shackles and sat down.Tim asked the deputies to wait outside.

Tim asked,"Do you remember me??"

Davis replied,"Yeah.You said I killed your old man."

Tim said,"I know now you didn't do it.You didn't kill my dad.I'm sorry for the way I treated you.I wanna help you."

Davis said,"Yeah,well fuck you man.I don't want your help.I don't need your help.I plead guilty.And I get 3 hots and a cot for the rest of my life.Considering my situation.I'm alot better off."

Tim said,"Look man.I read your record.You were a Marine.Decorated for bravery and galentry.I was an Army Ranger.We were both in Afghanistan.And Iraq.We're both warriors.And true warriors don't kill the way that my dad was.Let me help you."

Davis screamed,"NO!!!JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!LIKE I ALREADY TOLD YOU!!!I DON"T WANT HELP!!!I DON"T NEED HELP!!!!!GUARD!!!!I WANNA GO BACK TO MY CELL!!!!!"

The deputies came back to take Davis to his cell when Tim looked at him.

Tim said,"I'm gonna find a way to help you.Weither you want it or not."

Davis replied,"Yeah.Whatever."

Davis went back to his cell,and Tim left the jail and went home.He would find a way to help Davis,but for now.He had other things to do.
> Chapter 4.Preparing and Going.

A year had passed.Tim was still working at Hollywood Division.He moved back into his old house.Micheal Davis was sent to The California State Prison at San Quentin.In the meantime.Tim was getting ready to go to the other side of the portal.He didn't know what to expect,so he made preperations.Like his dad said,he was taking his time,and keeping quiet.

First off he went to the garage and found his old army footlocker.Tim opened it and found what he would need.Tim brought out A Colt AR-15 Semi Automatic version of The M-4 RIS Carbine in 5.56mm,A Sig-Sauer Sigpro SP2022 in 9mm.A Colt Combat Commander in .45ACP.A short barreled Remington M-870 .12ga pump shotgun.A Heckler & Koch 91 7.62mm Semi Auto Rifle.And A Remington M700 Sniper Rifle.His combat knife and his cammies.And boots.Tim also went to buy ammo,a small amount at a time.He found his old Radio Flyer Red Wagon,with panel truck style sides.Tim would use that to help with supplies and ammo.Tim would take everything to Big Bear.And put it in the cabin.

Tim also kept tabs on Micheal Davis.The homeless vet who plead guilty to Tim's dads murder.Tim wanted to help him,but he didn't know how.Tim also went to Hollywood Division and worked his shift during his workweek.To keep up appearances.Then the time came.Tim knew he could wait no longer.It was time to go.He grabbed a few more thing,including his dads Colt Python,he was given after Pete's funeral.Along with his badge.Tim then got into his truck and drove to the cabin.

When Tim arrived he went into the cabin.He changed hanged into his BDUs and and load bearing vest.Then he got his weapons.His SigPro he put in his thigh holster on his right.HIs Colt Commander in a holster in the front of the vest.His dads Colt in a holster on his back.Tim then loaded up his AR-15 and Shotgun.Tim also checked the wagon.He placed a crate of ammo.His Mil-Spec Laptop computer,that he spent a year up loading movies,TV shows and Music.And games,as well as Books he found on line.And a suitcase.Tim then grabbed the casefile.Last thing was the amulet..

Tim was now ready.He placed the amulet on a tree stump out side. as he opened the amulets wings and the beam from the crystal opened the portal.Tim pushed the wagon in first.As soon as he was about to step thru.An unmarked Ford Crown Victoria drove up.It was Nacho.Who got out of the car.

Tim asked,"Hey Tio.Que pasa?"

Nacho replied,"You tell me.What are you doing?And what is this??"

Tim replied,"I don't know Tio,but it's where I have to go."

Nacho said,"And what do you think you will find.Wherever there is?"

Tim answered,"Debbie Wilkins and her son.I'm finishing this case.For my dad."

Nacho then said,"Listen to yourself pendejo.Theres is nothing there.You are just like your dad.It was all of this that got him killed."

Tim replied,"My dad believed in this case.He also knows that Debbie Wilkins and her boy are there.And I am going to find them."

Nacho then drew his Beretta M92F 9mm pistol,cocking the hammer and said,"I cant let you do this."

Tim then asked,"Tio.What the hell are you doing?"

Nacho replied."I'm trying to save your life muchaco.No don't move."

Just then 3 masked figures emerged from the forest.They were armed with swords.One of the figures said,"Well done Captain Rojas.You may leave.We will finish here."

Nacho asked,"What the hell are you talking about??Your master promised not to hurt him."

The masked figure replied,The Master has changed his mind.

The lead figure then turned and stabbed Nacho in the side.Tim saw this and in a rage raised his AR and fired killing all 3.Tim ran up to Nacho and checked him.And saw Nachos hand over a bloody wound.

Tim said,"Tio.I'll call for paramedics."

Nacho replied,"No.They wont make it."

Nacho moved his hand.The blood was black.The blade had gone into his liver.

Tim asked,"Tio.Tell me.Did these guys kill my dad?"

Nacho nodded.And said,"They're master did."

Tim said,"And you knew about??"

Nacho with tears in his eyes said,"Yes,but I didn't think they would kill him.Your dad was my best friend.I was only trying to protect him.And you."

Tim asked,"Why Tio??"

Nacho replied,"Money,but I did it to help your dad,after your mom got sick.The bills were just too much for your dad to handle.They ate his insurance and almost his whole pension.I was such a tonto.I should have known what I got myself into.Please forgive me Tim."

Just as Tim was about to answer,both heard a rustling sound in the nearby bushes.Nacho knew what it meant.

Nacho picked up his gun and said,"Tim.There isn't much time.There are more coming.You need to go thru the portal now."

Tim replied,"No Tio.I won't leave you here to die.And I do forgive you."

Nacho smiled a sad smile and replied,"Tim.There's nothing you can do.I'm already dead,but before I go to God.I can make this right.Now go.Go."

Tim reluctantly went thru the portal,and saw more figures come up on Nacho.Nacho gathered the rest of his strength and stood up.Just as he was about to go back to help him.Tim saw Nacho point his gun at the amulet and fired.The crystal in the center was shattered and the portal closed.

Tim shed tears then said,"Tio."

On the other side,the figures walked up with swords drawn and Nacho walked to the propane gas tank and used his gun and severed the gas line.Nacho then crossed himself.

Nacho then said with tears in his eyes,Hail Mary.Full of grace.The lord is with thee.Blessed art thou among women.And blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.Holy Mary.Mother of God.Pray for us sinners.Now and at the hour of our death......Amen.......Esperanza.Miguel.I love you both."

Nacho then pulled the trigger and the gunshot blew the gas tank,killing him and the figures.

On the other side Tim was now in.He looked around and saw he was in a forest.Tim made sure had had everything,he said to himself,Well Dad.I'm here.I don't know what I'm gonna find,but I'll do my best.And uhhh.Don't be too hard on Uncle Nacho.His heart was in the right place.

With that.Tim checked his guns and began walking deeper into the forest.Where it would lead him.He didn't know.few hours later,feeling hungry and thristy.Tim decided to stop and have some food.Tim found an old tree stump and sat down.and pulled out and MRE from his pack.Tim ate his food and water.Then after he ate.Tim got up and began walking again,when he heard a yell and ran to it.What Tim would find would shock him.
> Chapter 5.Welcome to Equestria.

Tim ran to the source of the yell and what he found surprised him.Tim saw a humaniod creature,with equine features.The creature was being attacked by another larger creature.It looked like a lion,with small wings and a scorpians tail.Tim knew he had to act fast.He locked and loaded his AR and charged,firing at the lion like creature.Rounds were hitting and the creature was being wounded,when it turned around and swiped it's claws at Tim,who ducked just in time.

The Equine person yelled."LOOK OUT!! IT'S TAIL IS POISONOUS!!!!!!"

Tim quickly grabbed his short barreled Remington M-870 shotgun,from his back and racked a round of 00-Buck and fired.Nine .32 caliber sized pellets made impact and shredded the lion creatures tail.The animal cried out in agony.And charged at Tim.Tim then reracked the shotgun and put in the animals mouth.

Just as he pulled the trigger.Tim said,"EAT THIS!!!!!"

BOOM!!!!

The next set of 00-Buckshot pellets scrambled the creatures brain like an egg.And the animal fell over dead.Tim taking no chances,grabbed his Colt Commander from his vest holster,and fired 2 .45ACP rounds into it's eye socket.

Tim said,"It's dead.Whatever it was."

Tim then walked up to the equine creature.And saw it had a cyan coat.Rainbow colored mane and wings.It was also a female,and she was wearing clothes, she was also holding her arm.Tim then spoke to her.

Tim asked,"Are you OK??Can you understand me???"

The equine replied,"Yeah,but I think my arm is broken."

Tim examined the arm.When the equine winced in pain.Tim knew it was broken.

Tim said,"Yep.It's broken allright.You need to get to a hospital,but first.I'll make a splint."

Tim then used his knife to cut ti small branches and found some bandages in his pack,and placed the branches on the equines broken arm and wrapped it in bandeges and used another for a sling.

Tim asked,"So how is that??"

The equine replied,"It dosen't hurt as much now.Thanks."

Tim said,Now we gotta find a town or village.

The equine said,"Ponyville is not too far from here."

Tim asked,"Speaking of here.Where is here??I mean what is the name of this place."

The Equine then realized something and said,"I take it your not from around here."

Tim replied,"No.I'm from another world.A planet called Earth."

The equine replied,"Well I can tell you this.Your in Equestria.And I guess the planet is called Eques,by the way.My names Rainbow Dash."

Tim shook Rainbow Dash's good hand and said,"Nice to meet you Rainbow Dash.My names Tim Miller."

Rainbow Dash said,"It's good to meet you too Tim.And thanks for saving my life."

Tim then asked,"So,how did you end up on the ground?I mean your a Pegasus??Right??"

Rainbow Dash answered,"Well.I'm a weather pony,and I was flying,but a sudden crosswind got me and knocked my outta the sky,and I ended up here in The Everfree Forest."

Tim asked,"Can you walk?"

Rainbow Dash said,"Yeah.I can walk."

Tim then asked,"So what are you called anyway?I mean.I never met a talking horse on 2 legs before."

Rainbow Dash replied,"Well first.We're called ponies.We don't like the term horse.It's kinda dirogitory."

Tim then said,"Sorry.I didn't know."

Rainbow Dash laughed and said,"It's OK.I was just joshing you,but still.I wouldn't call anypony a horse."

As Tim and Rainbow Dash were walking.Tim heard a rustling sound.Tim aimed his AR-15 in the direction of the sound and said,Rainbow Dash.Get behind me.

The cyan pegasus did just that.And just as Tim was about to pull the trigger.Figures emerged from the forest.Rainbow Dash saw who it was.And said,"Tim.Wait.I know him.He's The Captain of The Guard."

The Captain said,"Rainbow Dash.Are you allright??We heard you fell from the sky,and that they're were loud bangs coming from the forest."

Rainbow Dash said,"Hey Shining Armor.Yeah.I had a little accident and broke my arm,and the loud bangs came from this guy.He saved my life.A Manticore was gonna have me for lunch,when he came up and used those things he's carrying to kill it."

Shining Armor looked at Tim and said,"Is this true??"

Tim replied,"Yes.The thing I killed is a few miles back that way."

Shining Armor look his guardponies and said,"I need 5 to go and confirm this."

Shining looked at Tim,shook his hand and said,"Thank you for saving Rainbow Dash.Now your name sir??"

Tim answered,"Tim Miller."

Shining then said,"Shining Armor.Captain of The Royal Guard for Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.and Equestria.So what brings you here to Equestria Tim??"

Tim answered,"I'm here looking for 2 others like me.A female about 40 years old and a male about 21 now.They may have come here about a little more than 20 years ago."

Shining knew who Tim was talking about,but decided to keep his mouth shut.A few minutes later a squad of GuardPonies came back and confirmed that indeed an Manticore had been killed by Tim and his weapons.Shing ordered the squad to bury the animal and looked back at Tim,and said,"Well you'll have to talk with Princess Celestia.However.I will ask that you disarm,for now.If Princess Celestia deems you are not a threat.You will get them back."

Tim replied,"OK.Fair enough."

Shining watched as Tim went through the procedures of unloading his Colt AR-15.His SigPro 9mm,his Colt Commander,his Shotgun and his dads Colt.As well as his knife.And took off his load bearing vest.And emptied his red wagon and put everything in the trunks of 2 chariots.The squad of guardponies returned about 20 minutes later after burying the now dead manticore.

Shining looked at the squad and said,"Now take Ms.Dash to Ponyville Hospital."

Just as she was leaving Rainbow Dash said,"Well so long for now Tim.I hope I will see you again."

Tim smiled and replied,I hope so too Rainbow Dash.Take care."

Soon the guardponies took Rainbow Dash to the hospital.The rest of the chariots flew on to Canterlot.After arriving at The Royal Castle Tim was allowed to take his change of clothes and the briefcase.Shining Armor escorted Tim to The Guard Barracks so Tim could take a shower and change his clothes.Tim came out later dressed and Shining Armor saw what he was wearing.And he saw the oval shaped badge Tim wore,DETECTIVE LOS ANGELES POLICE 26459

Shining asked,"What kind of uniform is this??Are you military Tim??"

Tim replied,"No.I was once,but this is the uniform of The Los Angeles Police Department.The city on Earth that I'm from,and serve.And I felt I should meet your Princess as a professional."

Shining said,"I see.Well.Let's go.The Princess is waiting."

Shining and Tim walked into the castle and entered the throne room and Tim saw a White Alicorn wearing a crown,he assumed it was Princess Celestia.

Shining said,Your Highness."I present Detective Tim Miller,of The Los Angeles Police Department,from a world called Earth.He is the one who saved Rainbow Dash's life."

Tim bowed in respect and said,"Princess Celestia.I am honored to meet you."

Princess Celestia replied,"No Detective Miller.The honor is mine.I thank you for what you did.I welcome you to Equestria.Now please let us retire to my chambers so we may talk and have some lunch.Captain.You will join us."

With that Tim and Shining followed Princess Celestia into her chambers and began the meeting.
> Chapter 6.Meeting with Celestia.

As Tim,Shining Armor and Princess Celestia were seated they were talking.Tim told them about the world he came from.The Princess asked the one question,although she believed she knew the answers.

Princess Celestia asked,"So Detective Miller.According to Captain Armor,you came here looking for 2 others of your kind.What lead you to Equestria??"

Tim opened the briefcase and brought out the file on The Wilkins Homicide.And said,"Well Your Highness.It began when I was a little boy......Henry Wilkins the man in the photograph was the victim.My dad who was an L.A.P.D. Detective himself,he was the reason I joined the department after I was Discharged from The United States Army.A branch of my nation's military.Anyway he was assigned to the case,but it went cold and he worked on it from time to time over the years.I think he found the truth,and I also think it got him killed."

Tim also showed Princess Celestia and Shining Armor the file that had his dads murder.Both ponies were sickened and saddened by what they saw.

Princess Celestia said,"I am so so very sorry for your loss Detective."

Tim continued,"Thank You Your Highness.Anyway.My dad believed that Henry Wilkins was tortured to death.In fact he was butchered,Heres's a photo of him.According to my dads investigation.Henry Wilkins was a research scientist.Doing blood research.My dad later found an amulet at the estate sale after Wilkins was buried and bought it.He opened it the wings and a crystal opened a portal that would lead me here.My dad also believed,as I do,that Wilkins sent his wife and unborn child thru the portal,to protect them from whatever cult they had belonged to.

Shining asked,One question Tim.What does L.A.P.D.mean???

Tim replied,"It's the abbreviation for The Los Angeles Police Department.Hence L.A.P.D."

Shinging facepalmed himself and said,Oh.Sorry.I didn't click.

Tim chuckled and replied,"It's OK.No harm.No foul."

As Princess Celestia read the case file and passed the pages to Shining Armor.THey were both shocked at the similarities to the murder in Los Angeles,and the murders in Equestria.

Princess Celestia asked,Detective Miller.How did you come to have this file.

Tim showed the letter from his dad to The Regal Alicorn and said,My dad and I thought up a code system so no one would understand what we were say,Except us.

Princess Celestia smiled and said,"You father was a very cleaver man.And it seems that the murders of Henry Wilkins and your father are similar to a couple of murders we have had here.My sons doctor was the first.Years later.3 brothers.Triplets and who worked at my school of magic,were all murdered the same way."

Tim looked at the Equestrian case files and said,You're right Your Highness.These cases are similar.My dad believed that Henry Wilkins wife and son were going to be sacrificed.And that's why Wilkins sent them thru the portal.Here's a photo of Debbie Wilkins.She was about 8 months pregnant at the time.

Princess Celestia took the photo of Debbie Wilkins and her eyes went wide.She then looked at Tim again.And said,"Detective Miller.I know this woman."

Tim asked,"How do you know her Your Highness??And please.Call me Tim.Is she still alive??"

Princess Celestia frowned and replied,"I found her in the woods near here.She had just performed an emergancy C-Section,to save her baby boy.She handed the baby to me,and with her eyes she basiclly told me to protect him.She died moments later,from shock and massive blood loss.She is buried where I found her.I didn't know where she came from.I adopted the child and raised him as my son.I named him Solar Ignition Flare.He is a prince and heir to the throne of Equestria.Princess Celestia then looked at Shining Armor and asked,Captain.Where is my son now??"

Shining answered,"He and Twilly are supposed to be coming home today.They,Spike and the girls went to Rainbow Falls this weekend."

Princess Celestia then wrote a note and used her magic to make it vanish.Then said,"Let us have some lunch,while we wait.Tim.I assume you are a meat eater,like my son."

Tim replied,"Oh yes ma'am."

Princess Celestia called for a servant and ordered a roast beef sandwhich and patato salad for Tim.And Dandilon sanchwhichs for her and Shinging Armor.

Meanwhile.Back in Ponyville.

Prince Solar and his wife,Twilight Sparkle.Spike.The Dragon,and the 3 daughters Solar and Twilight adopted,Art Paint.A Unicorn.Night Glow.A Bat Pony,and Scootaloo.A Pegasus had all just gotten home from Rainbow Falls.Everypony was tired,but they all had a great time at The Rainbow Falls annual Swap Meet Festival.

Twilight looked at Solar and said,"I'm so glad we're home."

Solar answered,"Yeah,me too,but I'm glad you and the girls found some cool stuff."

Scootaloo then said,Yeah,and Uncle Spike found some comic books he likes.

Art Paint said,"And I found some art supplies."

Night Glow then said,"And I found some sheet music."

Just then Solar and Twilight heard a loud belching sound.They both knew it could only be one thing.Spike then entered the room and said,"Hey Solar.It's a messege from mom."

Solar said,"What does she want??"

Spike replied,"Read it yourself.I'm your brother,not you errand boy."

Solar sighed,took the scroll and opened it and read it.

"Solar."

"Come to Canterlot,at once.This is urgent."

"Mom."

When Solar finished reading the note,he put his jacket on.and said,"OK everypony.I hafta go."

Art asked,"Where are you going daddy?"

Solar replied,"I have to go and see Grandma sweetie,but I hope I will be home soon."Solar looked at the other fillies and said,"Now you girls be good for Mommy and Uncle Spike OK??"

Scootaloo,Art and Night all replied,"We will."

Twilight then said,"Be careful honey.And say hi to your mom for us."

Solar kissed the violet unicorn and left.And teleported himself to his childhood home.The Royal Castle in Canterlot.

Back in Princess Celestia's chambers.a gaurdpony knocked on the door.

Princess Celestia said,"Come in."

The Guardpony came up,saluted and said,"Your Highness.You son has arrived."

Princess Celestia looked at Shining Armor and said,"Captain.Go and meet Solar.Then bring him in in about 5 minutes."

Shining nodded and left the room.Tim looked at Princess Celestia and asked,"What is this all about Your Highness??"

Princess Celestia answered,I'm just looking out for my son.He has never seen anyone of his own kind.Ever.I just don't want the shock to be too much for him."

Tim asked,"You love your son that much??"

Pricncess Celestia replied,"Yes.Since he was born.I may not be his birth mother,but He is my son.Just the same."

Tim said,"There was an old TV show called The Big Valley,it ran in rerun,when I was a kid.It was about a family in The American Old West.One of the characters The head of the family Victoria Barkley,Loved her son Heath,even though Heath wasn't her real son.Because Heath was her late  husbands love child,but she Loved Heath just the same.You remind of Victoria Barkley in many ways.Like how much you love your son,even if he isn't your blood.Or in this case.Your own spieces.I like that about you ma'am."

Princess Celestia replied,"Why thank you Tim.Although.I don't know what this TV is that you speak of."

Then Shining Armor walked in with his brother in law.When Solar saw another creature that was just like him.He was in awe.

Princess Celestia said,"Solar.I would like to introduce Tim Miller.He is a police detective from a world called Earth.It is where you and your birth mother came from.Tim.This is my son.His Royal Highness.Prince Solar Ignition Flare."

Tim bowed his head,extended his hand and said,"Your Highness.I'm so pleased to meet you."

Tim and Solar shook hands.Solar was still flabergasted,that after all this time.There was another one of his kind,now standing before him.

Solar said,"I...I have so many questions."

Tim replied,"I'll bet you do.I'll try to answer them,the best I can."

Solar asked,"Well first off.What are we called??I mean what are our people called??"

Tim answered,"We are called Human Beings,or Homosaipiens in the scientific term.We are a form of primate that evolved on Earth.The world you and I came from."

Solar then asked,"Are you and I related??"

Tim replied,"Sorry no,but we are the same.Execpt on Earth we don't have magic."

Solar asked,"Then how did you get here??To Equestria I mean??And why did you come here??"

Tim replied,"I came here looking for you and your birth mother,but your mom told me she passed away,I'm so very sorry Prince Solar.I lost my dad a year ago.Anyway.I used an amulet that my dad had bought and It actually opened a portal to here."

Princess Celestia asked,"What did this amulet look like?"

Tim replied,"It looked like a black winged unicorn,and when you unfolded the wings.There was a crystal in the center,And that opened the portal."

Solar then asked,"Why didn't your dad come through the portal originally??"

Tim answered,"Because he had my mother and I to think about.I was still a kid at the time,and my mom dies when I was 15.And he felt,if he told anyone back in L.A.They would have thought he was delusional or something."

Shining Armor asked,"So what happened to the amulet??"

Tim frowned and replied,"My godfather,he's sort of an unrelated uncle,who knew me since I was born,he was also acop.A Captain,was somehow involved with this cult.Tried to stop me,but when he learned they were going to kill both of us.He helped me,at the cost of his own life.I saw him destroy the amulet,just before the portal closed."

Princess Celestia said,"Oh Tim.You have suffered so much."

Tim replied,"I thank you Princess,but my dad always told me.Life is a neverending journey.It will take to places you never would have thought of.And lifes journey has led me here."

After answering more of Solars questions.As to why Tim came here.Solar learned that Tim had saved Rainbow Dash's life in The Everfree Forest.

Solar said,"Thanks so much for saving my friends life.And I also thank you for coming to find me.I think you can say that at least this part of your dads old case is closed."

Tim then replied,"Yeah,but I still want to know who killed your dad and mine.By the way Solar.These are photos of your parents."

Solar looked at the photos and asked,"What were they're names??"

Tim said,"They were Henry and Debbie Wilkins.Wilkins is you family name.On Earth anyway."

Solar then asked,"Can I keep these??"

Tim looked at Princess Celestia,who nodded at Tim.

Tim said,"Sure.You can have them."

Solar then asked,"And what about those weapons you have??"

Princess Celestia then said,"Now now Solar.I think we have peppered Tim with enough questions for the day."She then looked at Tim and said,"Tim.You are welcome in Equestria.And I would like you to help Solar solve this mystery.It seems that your father taught you well.And of course.I will pay you."

Solar then said,"Yeah.My mom is right.I mean I can solve a puzzle,but for this one.I could always use the help of a good detective."

Tim replied,"OK.I'll do it.I mean.I have noway to get home,so.I'll help."

Solar then said,"And you can live in Ponyville.You can stay with me and my family for a day or 2,until you get a place of your own.And teach me and my brother in law about those weapons of yours."

Tim replied,"I'd be more than happy to,if your mother gives them back to me."

Princess Celestia looked at Shining Armor and said,"Captain.I believe that our new friend Tim is not here for hostile intent.Don't you?"

Shining replied,"I think so too.I'll see to it that Tim's weapons are returned to him."

Tim said,"I'll just take one of them.For now,until I get  a place to live.Can I leave the rest here for the time being??"

Princess Celestia replied,"Of course Tim.And I will leave orders that they are not to be touched by anypony,until you can give a demonstration."

Tim thanked The Princess and was led to the room where his weapons and gear were locked up in.Solar looked at his mother.And said,"Mom.I hope you don't think I love you any less now that I know who my parents were??"

Princess Celestia hugged her son and replied."Of course not Solar.It's important to know where you came from.And from what Tim told me.You're birth parents were saving you.It was providence that brought you here,to me.And I was always sorry that you're mother lost her life,giving you life."

Solar looked at the photo of his mother,then Celestia and replied,"Debbie Wilkins was my mother,but your my mom.And that will never change.I love you mom."

Princess Celestia shed a tear of happiness and said,"I love you too Solar.And I always will."

Tim returned with Shining Armor and opened his briefcase and put in his dads Colt Python snubbie and closed it.

Solar asked,"Ready to go Tim??"

Tim replied,"Yeah.I'm ready.Lets get going."Tim looked at Princess Celestia and said,"Your Highness.It was a pleasure meeting you.

Princess Celestia replied,Thank You Tim,And once again.Welcome to Equestria.

Tim nodded and looked at Shining Armor and said,Shining.I hope I'll see you soon.

Shining shooks Tims hand and replied,I'll be in Ponyville soon.And I have a chariot ready for you guys.

Solar said,Thanks Shining.I'll see you soon.I'll tell your sister you and Cadence said hi.

With that Solar and his new friend were on the way to Ponyville.While they were in flight they talked.

Tim said,So.Your married to a pony.Right?

Solar replied,Yes.My wife Twilight and have known each other since we were both kids.Although,we did have a rocky start.

Solar then told Tim about how he thought Twilight was going to take Celestia away from him,because he was scared after Doctor Heart Pulses murder,when Solar was still a child,and how he attacked and injured Twilight,with his magic and broke 3 of her ribs,and burning her chest fur,and about how he felt so bad about it,that he spent day and night working to earn money to pay the medical bills,and to find the right spell to heal Twilight,which worked.And how The Sparkle family eventually did forgive Solar,and about how He and Twilight grew up together and became best friends,and as they grew older,became lovers.Even about how Solars cousin Prince Blueblood tried to steal Twilight from him,and Solar had to fight for her.And he won.

Tim said,Wow.You sure put that guy in his place.

Solar replied,Yeah,but then he attacked Twilight with his magic,out of shear pestilaence.I steped in front of it,and wound up in the hospital for a few days.

Tim replied,Wow.Solar you have lead an interesting life.So far.

Solar smiled and replied,Tim.You don't know the half of it.

Soon the chariot landed in Ponyville.Solar and Tim got off and Tim grabbed his suitcase,and briefcase.Solar thanked the guards and both humans walked to where Solar and his family lived.The Library.

Solar and Tim were riding a chariot back to Ponyville,Solar was telling Tim about his life in Equestria as Princess Celestia's son. He talked about growing up as a prince.Growing up with Twilight,including when he attacked her when they were children,and how he realized what he did,he took it upon himself to make things right,being forgiven by her family,becoming friends with her,eventually falling in love,almost losing her to his asshole of a cousin Prince Blueblood.And marrying Twilight.And her getting pregnant with their foal,and adopting 3 fillie's in the process.Art Paint who is an acomplished artist in her own right,dispite the fact she is blind.Night Glow who loves music,and Scootaloo who was the recent addition to the family.THe chariot landed in Ponyville,and the two entered The Library and Solar said,"Family.I'm home."

Twilight and Spike came out of the kitchen and saw Tim and Twilight kissed her husband and said,"Hi Honey.And asked And who is this??"

Art Paint,Night Glow and Scootaloo came running and all said,"DADDY!!!!!"

All 3 fillies group hugged Solar.And Night glow saw another person who looked the same as their dad.

Night Glow asked,"Daddy who is he??"

Solar replied,"Everypony.This is my new friend,Tim Miller.Tim this is my family.My wife Twilight.My brother Spike,and my kids,Art Paint,Night Glow and Scootaloo."

Tim shook Twilights hand and bent down and said to the girls,"Hi.I'm so pleased to meet all of you.You dad told me all about you on the trip here."

Art asked,Mr.Miller."Can I touch your face,to see what you look like??"

Tim replied,"Sure.Please do."

Art then used her hands and touched all around Tims face,ears and nose.

Art then said,"Gee.You are just like my dad.What are you called??"

Tim replied,"Well.Like I told your dad.We are called Human Beings.It would take a long time to explain."

Art then asked,"Could I paint a portrait of you sometime."

Tim answered,"I would love that Art.Your dad also told me you are a very talented artist.I even saw a picture you painted in your grandmothers room when I was over in Canterlot.And you nave talent."

The unicorn filly smiled and said,"Thank you very much."

Twilight then said,"Oh.Wait.Are you the one who saved Rainbow Dash's life??my friend Rarity came over a couple of hours ago and said that Rainbow Dash was attacked by A Manticore when she crashed in The Everfree Forest,and that a person looking like you killed The Manticore saving Rainbow Dash.""

Tim replied,"Yes ma'am.No to toot my own horn,but it was me.Any word on how Rainbow Dash is doing??"

Twilight hugged Tim and said,"Thank You so much.For saving her.And according to Rarity,Rainbow Dash will recover.She has A green stick fracture in her arm,and will be in the hospital a few days,but other than that,she's fine."

Tim sighed and replied,"Oh.Thank God for that."

Twilight asked,"So where are you from Tim??"

Solar then said,"Tim came from a world called Earth.It is the world that my birth mother and I guess you could say,I came from.And Tim is also a former soldier.And is now a police officer.Which explains his police uniform."

Spike came downstairs and saw Tim.After Solar introduced the two.Spike shook hands with Tim.

Spike said,We already had dinner,but if you guys are you hungry.I can make tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwhiches.

Tim replied,That sounds good.I haven't eaten since lunch.

Solar also said,Yeah me too.Spike throw some ham on those sandwhiches.

As Tim and Solar ate their late dinner Twilight asked more questions,and wrote down the answers.Tim felt a little uncomfortable,like when he went through the oral interview before he entered The Police Academy.However,Solar warned him that Twilight was an egghead,so Tim took it in stride.

Twilight asked,"So tell me about the city you came from.Los Angeles."

Tim said,"It's a city in California.A state in The United States of America.The country on Earth I'm from.Los Angeles is in whats called Southern California.About 4 Million people live and work there."

Twilight's ears perked up and replied,"4 Million??.How many police officers are there in Los Angeles??"

Tim replied,"Almost 10.000 cops patrol and protect the city.And that's just the L.A.P.D.Then you have The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.The California Highway Patrol.And various California State and United States Federal Agencies."

Twilight said,"WOW!!Los Angeles sounds like a big city.Even bigger than Manehatten."

The fillies were listening when Solar looked at the clock,and said,"OK girls,Bedtime.You have school tomorrow."

Night Glow said,"Awwww dad.We want to hear more about Mr.Miller."

Solar said,"I know,but you girls need sleep.Come on.I'll tuck you all in."

Tim then said,"Don't worry girls.I'll be around for a good long while."

The girls then said,"Good night mommy.Good night Mr.Miller."

After the girls were put to bed.And Tim answered more of Twilight's questions Tim was also feeling tired.

Twilight then said,"Oh.I'm so sorry Tim.I guess you're really tired."

Tim replied,"Yeah.I guess so.Is there anywhere I can change.I don't wanna sleep in my uniform."

Solar chuckled and said,"Yeah,Come on.I'll show you."

After Tim changed into a pair of sweatpants and an L.A.P.D. t-shirt. And everyone said good night to each other..After Solar and Twilight went upstairs to their bedroom,Tim was laying on the couch,He brought out his I-pod and swipe it to a photo of his dad.

Tim then said looking at the picture,"Well dad.I found Debbie Wilkins son.I solved part of the case,and now I'm in a place called Equestria.You wouldn't believe it dad.It's a whole lot different than home.Anyway.I hope Tio Nacho made it to Heaven.And I hope you're not too mad at him.I'm not.And now that I'm here.I think my work has only begun.Well Good night dad.Good night Mom.I miss you both.I love you."

Tim then opened his briefcase and put the I-pod inside,and checked his Colt,he then closed the briefcase and locked it,and soon layed back down,and fell asleep.

Meanwhile Solar and Twlight were dressed for bed,and solar showed Twilight the photos of his parents.

Twilight said,"I can see the family resembelence in your parents Solar.And in you."

Solar replied,"Yeah.And I now know my own past.Although it isnt good.I'm still glad I know about my parents.Tim's dad,who was also a cop believed that my mother and I were to be sacrificed to The New Blood.My father had a change of heart I guess,and sent my mother thru the portal,to save me."

Twilight could see tears in Solars eyes and hugged him.She said,"I know this is painful for you,but know that,your parents loved you,before you were born,they loved you and protected you.At the cost of their own lives.Just like Celestia would have done for you.And I know you would do the same for our foals.Including the one on the way.As she placed Solar's hand on her baby bump."

Solar said,"Thanks Twi.You always know what to say,I love you Twi."

Twilight kissed her husband and replied,"I love you too Solar.Now come on.Bedtime."

Solar and Twilight climbed into bed and soon both fell asleep.

Meanwhile.

The Master of The New Blood was in his throne room,sitting high atop on his throne..He was with Silent Killer and 2 of his ponies.

The Master said,"What news do you bring me Silent Killer."

Silent Killer replied,"I come with distressing news master.The son of Miller,still lives.The other police human Rojas,helped him get thru the portal from one of our amulets,just before his own death.3 of our assassins are also dead.And he is now on Eques."

The Master replied,"And who is responsible for this failure??"

Silent Killer replied,"It was Nefer."

The Master replied,"Make an example of him.Drain him of his blood."

Silent Killer then asked,"And what of the son of Miller??"

The Master answered,"It is of no consequence.He will die in good time.Our plans will move foreward,as I have foretold it."

Silient Killer replied,"As you command.my master."

Silent Killer left and went to have Nefer pay with his blood for failing to kill Tim.The Master was in thought.He actually knew that with another human in Equestria.The New Bloods plans were indeed in danger of falling apart.He could feel the fear,but he knew he could not show it.

The next morning.Tim woke up from a restful nights sleep.And already the house/library was already jumping.Spike was making breakfest.The kids were up and getting ready for school.Solar and Twilight were also up.Solar saw Tim and said,Good morning sleepyhead.Did you sleep good??

Tim yawned,stretched himself and popped a few joints back into place and replied.Yeah.I slept pretty good.

Solar said,"Good.Now come get some breakfast."

Tim got up from the couch and sat at the table.Spike made Pancakes,sausages for him and Solar.Eggs,hash browns.

Spike asked,"Hey Tim.You want coffee or tea??"

Tim replied,"Coffee please.Cream and sugar."

As they all ate Tim was enjoying the delicious breakfast.It was the best he ever had.After breakfast.Tim asked Solar,"So.What's on the agenda for today??"

Solar replied,"First.I'm gonna take the girls to school.Then after you get ready,We go to Town hall,and we see Mayor Mare,and get you're citizenship papers in order,and then we see about finding a place for you to live."

Tim then said,"Sounds good to me,but can we go to the hospital??I want to look in on Rainbow Dash."

Solar replied,"We can do that too.And I want to introduce you to our friends.And of course,show you Ponyville."

Tim replied,"OK.Just let me take a shower first."

Solar replied,"Not a problem.Then Solar looked at Art Paint,Night Glow and Scootaloo and said,OK girls.Get you books and your lunches.It's time to go to school."

The girls all kissed their parents and all said,"Bye mom.Bye Spike,Bye Mr.Miller."

Tim smiled and replied,"Bye girls.Have a good day at school."

After Solar left with his daughters.Tim went and took a shower,shaved,brushed his teeth,combed his hair.Then got dressed.Putting on a pair of jeans.A green polo shirt.and sock with tennis shoes.Then he took his Colt Python snubby out of his briefcase and loaded 6 rounds and put the gun in his dads shoulder holster and put his jacket on.Twilight noticed.

Twilight asked,"Is that one of the weapons from earth you have??"

Tim replied,"Yes.It's what is known as a firearm on Earth.You won't have to worry.I'll make sure your girls don't get ahold of it,or use it,unless I supervise."

Twilight replied,"Oh I'm not worried about that,but thanks though.And I would love to see how those work."

Tim said,"I'll arrange a demonstration as soon as I can."

Twilight smiled and said,"Great.Thanks Tim."

When Solar returned.He,Twilight and Tim went around Ponyville.

The first stop was Ponyville Town Hall.Where Solar and Twilight introduced Tim to Mayor Mare.After Tim's Equestrian Citizenship papers were filled out and filed,which surprised Tim,because it didn't take as long as he thought it would.Solar asked Mayor Mare if their was any vacant homes that were now for rent.Mayor Mare showed Tim,along with Solar and Twilight a one room cottage that was now vacant,but fully furnished.

The cottage had the basics,Living room/bedroom.Kitchen dining area.Bathroom with bathtub/shower.Toilet and a sink.To Tim it was a perfect place to start a new life.since he knew he wasn't leaving Equestria anytime soon.

Tim then asked,"Mayor Mare.How come,there is still furniture here??"

Mayor Mare replied,"Oh.That's because,an old mare lived here until she died about 3 months ago.Her family took all her personel belongings,but said to leave the furniture here.They felt it should go to the next tenant who would get some use out of it.And I guess that would be you Mr.Miller."

Tim replied,"Oh please.Call me Tim.When will the rent be due??"

Mayor Mare replied,"First of every month.450bits a month."

Solar then said,"Actually Mayor.My mother is going to pay Tim's rent for the first 6 months,since he is going to be working for the govornment."

Mayor Mare handed Tim the keys and said,You can move in anytime you want Tim.

Tim thanked Mayor Mare and he Solar and Twilight left.Next stop Ponyville Hospital.When they arrived at the hospital,Nurse Sweetheart showed then which room Rainbow Dash was in.The three walked in and saw the cyan pegasus in bed with a cast on her arm and in a sling.

Solar and Twilight both said,"Hey Rainbow Dash."

Rainbow Dash smiled and said,"Hey guys.I happy to see you."

Twilight replied,"We're happy to see you too,and we brought a guest."

Tim walked in and said,"Hey Rainbow Dash.How's the arm."

Rainbow Dash's smile widened and she took Tim's hand and said,"TIm.You came to see me.That really makes me happy."

Tim smiled and replied,"Well.I'm glad I could make you smile.So hows the arm??"

Rainbow Dash answered,"It's fine.The cast will be on for about 4 weeks,but it's gonna suck that I can't fly."

Tim asked,"What do you mean you can't fly.As far as I can see.Your wings look fine.Unless I'm missing something."

Rainbow Dash said,"Well.It's true I have wings,but we Pegasi also need our arms for stable flight.The crosswind that got me,was just one of those things.It happens.So Tim.How are you settling her in Ponyville??"

Tim replied,"Oh.OK I guess.I got my Equestrian Citizenship this morning.And that was fast.And I already got a place to live.It's a small cottage,but it will do for the time being."

Rainbow Dash replied,"That is just awesome.When I'm outta this place.I'll come by and visit."

Tim smiled and said,"I hope you will.You can come by anytime."

Rainbow Dash then asked,"So what are you guys gonna do for the rest of day??"

Tim replied,"Well after we leave Solar and Twilight are gonna introduce me to the rest of your friends."

Rainbow Dash said,"Well.I would avoid Fluttershy,for now."

Solar asked,"Why.What's Fluttershy's problem."

Rainbow Dash answered,"After I told the other's how Tim saved me and killed that manticore.Fluttershy got all mad,and said if she ever lays eyes on Tim.She would give him a piece of her mind,like with that dragon we dealt with,not too long ago."

Twilight sighed and said,"Oh boy.That is not good.Does she understand why Tim did it??"

Rainbow Dash replied,"Yeah,but you know how she gets when it comes to animals."

Twilight said,"Yeah.I know."Twilight looked at Solar and said,"Honey.Why don't you take Tim to meet Pinkie.Applejack and Rarity??I'll go work on Fluttershy."

Solar replied,"Yeah.That sounds like a good idea."

Nurse Sweetheart then came into the room and said,"I'm sorry everypony,but Rainbow Dash needs her rest."

Rainbow Dash protested and said,"Awww,but I'm just so bored."

Nurse sweetheart replied,"Now now Ms.Dash.Doctors orders."

Solar then said,"Nurse Sweethearts right Rainbow Dash.Besides.With any luck.You'll be outta here tomorrow."

Rainbow Dash then replied,"Yeah.I guess.OK.I'll see you guys.Bye Solar.Bye Twilight.Bye Tim."

Rainbow Dash then stretched out her good hand and Tim took it.And said."Bye Rainbow Dash.I hope you'll come by my 
new house."

Rainbow Dash smiled and said".I'll be there."

As the three were leaving the hospital.Tim's thoughts were on Rainbow Dash.Tim was thinking.She was beautiful.Although she was a pony,but then he saw how happy Solar was with Twilight,and he is human,but he was born here.Not Earth,but then again.Rainbow Dash was cute,in a tomboyish sort of way.

Tim's thoughts were interrupted when Solar said,"Tim.You ready to go??"

Tim smiled and replied,"Lead on McDuff."

As Tim and Solar were walking around Ponyville The next stop was Sugar Cube Corner.A local  bakery.Twilight went to go talk to Fluttershy.So Solar and Tim were on their own.As they entered Sugar Cube Corner.They were greeted by a pink earth pony with a fluffy dark pink mane.

Solar said,"Hi Pinkie.How are you today??"

Pinkie replied,"OH HI SOLAR!!I'M JUST SUPER DUPER TODAY!!HOW ARE YOU???AND HOW IS TWILIGHT??WHERE IS TWILIGHT ANYWAY??AND WHO IS THIS???HE ALMOST LOOKS LIKE YOU!!!HI THERE!!!MY NAME IS PINKIE-PIE!!!WHATS YOU'RE NAME??WHERE ARE YOU FROM??ARE YOU THE ONE WHO SAVED RAINBOW DASH FROM THE MANTICORE??DO YOU LIKE CUPCAKES???I LIKE CUPCAKES!!!BECAUSE IF YOU LIKE CUPCAKES!!!THEN THAT MEANS!!!!YOUR'E A HAPPY PERSON!!!!CAN WE BE FRIENDS???BECAUSE I WANNA BE YOUR FRIEND!!!WILL YOU BE MY FRIEND???"

Tim replied,"Well.My name is Tim.I came from a world called Earth.Yes that was me.And yes I love cupcakes.I'm a happy person,and yes I would love a cupcake.And sure let's be friends."

Pinkie smiled and replied,"SUPER!!!HERE HAVE A CUPCAKE YOU TOO SOLAR!!!!!AND HAVE SOME MILK TO WASH IT DOWN!!!!"

Pinkie then proceeded to shove a chocolate frosted cupcake into Tim's mouth,and then Solar's.Both ate the sweet treat.

Solar swallowed and said,"Mmmm-mmmm.Pinkie.You are a genius in the kitchen.These are good."

Tim replied,"Yeah.Not too sweet,but sweet enough."

Pinkie then giggled and asked,"So Tim.Are you living here now???"

Tim replied,"Sure am.I just rented the cottage near the library."

Pinke said,"Ohhh.Mrs. Blueshoes place.Yeah.I miss her,but I'm glad her place is going to be used by somepony.And since you also saved Rainbow Dash.I have to throw you a Welcome to Ponyville/Thank you for saving Rainbow Dash party."

Solar swallowed his milk and said,:And I take it you already scheduled it."

Pinkie replied,"You betcha.Tomorrow night at 7.Make sure he isn't late Solar."

Solar replied,"I'll make sure."

Pinkie said,"Okie-Dokie Lokie.And grabbed another cupcake and went back to work."

Solar and Tim left for their next stop in Ponyville.Carousel Bouitique,and it's owner.Rarity.As Solar opened the door to the bouitique the bell above the door rang and out came Rarity.

Rarity said,"Oh Solar darling.So good to see you.And who is this??"

Solar replied,"Hi Rarity.This is my friend Tim.He's from the world I came from.And he's going to be living here."

Rarity put out her hand and said,"It's a pleasure to meet you Tim darling.And I heard about  what happened,Thank you so much for saving Rainbow Dash."

Tim took her hand and kissed and said,"The pleasure is mine Ms Rarity."

Rarity blushed and said,"And you are quite a gentlecolt.You simply must allow me to make you some clothes."

Tim replied,"I appreciate that Rarity,but I...."

Rarity cut Tim off and said,"Tut tut tut Tim darling,I simply will not take no for an answer."

Solar looked at Tim and said,"Let Rarity do it for you.Trust me.Life is easier."

As the white unicorn stretched,twisted the human like a living pretzel,and measured Tim for the clothes she was going to make for him.She asked,So Tim.What kind of clothes would you like.

Tim shrugged and replied,Oh.I really don't know.I like suits from time to time.As far as formal wear.I have my old military uniform for that.I do like jeans,polo shirts,work shirts,and cowboy boots if that helps.

Rarity wrote it all down on her Pony-Pad.And said,"Allright then.I shall have everything ready by the end of the week."

Tim replied,"Well thank you Rarity.I don't know how I'm going to pay for it."

Rarity said,"Oh think nothing of it.It's just my way of thanking you for what you did for Rainbow Dash.Well.I need to get to work.If you two will excuse me.Oh Solar tell Twilight I shall have her gown ready for the gala in about another week."

Solar replied,"I'll tell her.See you Rarity."

Tim also said,"See you later Rarity.And thanks."

Rarity said,"Ta ta.And it's my pleasure Tim."

As Solar and Tim left Tim asked why Rarity was being generious.Solar explained that Twilight and the others were the bearers of The Elements of Harmony.After his Aunt Luna returned as Nightmare Moon,and what Solar went through in his own personal battle.And how Nightmare Moon was defeated and changed back into Princess Luna.

Tim said,"So let me see if I get this right.Twilight is The Element of Magic.Pinkie-Pie is The Element of Laughter.Rainbow Dash is The Element of Loyalty.Rarity is The Element of Generosity.Your other friends..Uhhhh,"

Solar said,"Applejack.The pony we're going to see next is The Element of Honesty.And Fluttershy is The Element of Kindness."

Tim said,"Yeah,but according to Rainbow Dash.I don't think she will be too kind to me."

Solar replied,"Well.Twilight will remind Fluttershy why she is The Element of Kindness.I hope."

Tim said,"Yeah.I hope so too man.I hope so.So any chance of lunch,before we go to see your friend??"

Solar looked at his watch and felt his tummy rumble,and said."Yeah.I could use a bite myself.Come on there's a Hayburger close by."

Tim with a worry look on his face asked,"Uhhh.Hayburger??"

Solar snickered and replied,"Yeah,but don't worry.They also keep a limited supply of meat on hand,for Griffons."

Tim asked,"And other predator spieces,like us??"

Solar said,"Yeah I guess,but are we really predators back on Earth??"

Tim replied,"Depends on who you ask,but yeah.Humans are the number one predator spieces on Earth.We have to be.To stay on top of the food chain.However our predator nature also makes us the most violent spieces on Earth.I'm sorry to say."

Solar asked,"Are our people always so violent??"

Tim replied,"Yeah sometimes,but that's why there's a need for guys like me."

Solar then asked,"As a soldier,or a police officer??"

Tim replied,"Both."

As Tim and Solar entered Hayburger and ate lunch,Applejack walked in.And saw the 2 humans,and said,Howdy there Solar.

Solar replied,"Applejack.We were going to come see you after lunch."

Applejack said,"Well.Ah had to come and see Filthy Rich about this years apple contract.She then looked at Tim and asked,So is this yer friend Ahh heard about."

Tim answered shaking Applejacks hand,"Hi.My names Tim MIller."

Applejack replied,"Well glad ta meet ya Tim.Ahh heard about what ya'all did for Rainbow Dash,savin her hide and all.I thank ya'all fer that."

Solar asked,"So how are things at Sweep Apple Acres??"

Applejack replied,"Oh busy as ever.I jus finished the west orchard this mornin.And Big Mac was workin on the west orchard when I left."

Solar then said,"Well I know you are gonna have alot of apples this year."

Applejack replied,"Ahh sure hope so.Well.Ah'd better git goin.Ah gotta git back to the farm,Them saplings aint gonna water themselves.Anyho.It was nice ta meetcha Tim.Come by Sweet Apple Acres some time."

Tim said,"I sure will.Nice meeting you too Applejack."

After Solar and Tim ate they went back to the libary.When they entered,Solar said,"Twi.I'm home."

Twilight kissed her husband and said,"Hi Honey.Hi Tim.So how did it go around town??"

Solar replied,"Well Tim met Pinkie,Applejack.And Rarity.Oh by the way.Pinkie's already planned a party for Tim.Tomorrw night at 7.So how did it go with Fluttershy??"

Twilight replied,"Not good.She's convinced that Tim is some kind of monster.I tried to reason with her,but she started crying over the manticore."

Solar replied,"Oh brother.What doe's Fluttershy think Tim should have done??Let the manticore eat Rainbow Dash,or Tim??"

Twilight said,"I know Solar,but hopefully in time.She see the error of her ways.If not.I may have to ask you're mom to intervine.Oh,and speaking of which.Tim.I sent a messege to my brother.Telling him,you got a place.He want's to know,when can he send the rest of your stuff down??"

Tim replied,"Tell him tomorrow afternoon around 1,would be fine.I wanna move into my new place.Don't get me wrong.You guys have been great,but I really want to live in my home."

Solar said,"Hey buddy.We completely understand,but stay one more night."

Tim replied,"Oh yeah.That will be great.Thanks."

Solar looked at Spike and asked,"Hey Spike.After you send a messege to Shining Armor via mom.What's for dinner??"

Spike replied,"Sausage and patato casserole.With cheese.And wehave rolls,veggies,and chocolate cake for dessert."

Solar said,"Sounds good,but.No gems."

Spike replied,"Yeah yeah.I got it.No gems."

Tim looked confused and asked."Uhhh,Gems??"

Solar replied,"Yeah.Dragons eat gems.It's ummm complicated."

Tim said,"OK.Man.There's so much to get used to here."

Soon after.Art Paint.Night Glow and Scootaloo all came home from school.After that.The family and Tim,all had dinner,but the night had just begun.

After dinner.Solar and Twilight were relaxing on with books,Spike was playing a board game with his neices.Tim had brought out his I-Pod and was about play some music.Night Glow noticed and said,"Mr.Miller.Is that a PONY-POD??Like my dads??"

Tim replied,"I guess.I didn't know you guys had these in this world."

Solar replied,"Oh yeah.I've had mine for a while now.Twilight gave it to me for Hearth's Warming a couple of years ago."

Night Glow then asked,"Do you have music on that??"

Tim replied,"Yeah I sure do,but it's all music from Earth.Mostly Rock & Roll."

Night Glow then asked,"Ohhhh.Could you play some Mr.Miller???"Then Night glow looked at Twilight and Solar and asked,"Please Mommy.Can we listen to some of Mr.Millers music??"

Solar then looked at others and asked,"You guys wanna listen to some music from Earth??"

The girls,as well as Twilight and Spike all nodded.Solar looked at Tim and said,"OK.Tim.It's you're show."

Tim swiped his I-Pod and chose music from the 80s.And said,"OK.Howabout you guys all sit in the center of the room."

As Tim set up his I-pod and speakers,everypony was moving around.Soon everypony all sat in the center of the living room.Twilight said,"This is so exciting.Music from another world."

Solar replied,"Yeah.It's kinda like I'll be listening to my heretige."

Tim then said,"OK.So the music I choose was from a time period on Earth called The 1980s.It was my dads time as a teenager.And even though I was born in the 1990s.I have always loved 80s music.The beats.The tempos and the Harmonies.So with out further ado.Here's one of my favorites.It's by a band from the Earth nation of England.They are called ABC.And this was their biggest hit."The Look of Love".

As Tim sang along with the song.Twilight,Solar.Spike and the girls began to enjoy the music.After the song ended.Everypony clapped.

Tim bowed and said,"Thank You.Thank You.Now my next pick is one from another of my favorites.It came out in 1990.And as far as I'm concerned.The 80s ended in 1991.So here's another pick.

GO WEST-KING OF WISHFUL THINKING.

Soon everypony was clapping their hands,Twilight and Solar started dancing with each other.When the song ended,everypony clapped again.

Tim smiled and again said,"Thank you."

Tim then chose 2 more songs and played them.And The family also enjoyed them.And clapped.

Solar looked at the clock and then the girls and said,"OK.girls.Bedtime."

Night Glow asked,"Dad,can we listen to one more song??Please??"

The both Art Paint and Scootaloo also said,"Please daddy??Can we??"

Solar looked at Twilight who nodded.Solar then said,"OK.One more,but then it's off to bed.Agreed??

All 3 fillies eagerly nodded.Then Tim made one more selection.And said,"Here's one more you guys will like.It's from a band called Danger-Danger.It's called,Bang Bang.

DANGER DANGER-BANG BANG.

As Tim sang along.During the chorus he pointed at Twlight,then Art,then Night Glow,finally at Scootaloo.When the song finished.Everypony clapped and Tim bowed and said,"Thank You.You've been a great audience."

Solar then looked at his daughters and said,"OK.Now off to bed.We had a deal."

The girls all said,"Awww",but did as they were told.They kissed Solar and Twilight and said goodnight to them,the each kissed Tim on the cheek said,"Good night Mr.Miller.Thanks for the music."

Tim smiled and replied,"Anytime.Good night girls."

As Twilight and Spike were putting the girls to bed.Solar looked at Tim and said,"Hey Tim.Let's go for walk."

Tim replied,"Ok.Give me a minute."

Tim then opened his briefcase and put on his shoulder holster and checked his Python,and reholstered it,then put on a jacket.

Solar asked,"Do you carry that thing every where you go??"

Tim replied,"Pretty much.It's a cop thing."

Solar said,"Uhh Tim.You do realize that your not in Los Angeles,and here.Your actually not a cop."

Tim said,"Oh.Id there a law that says I can't have a gun??Or carry one for that matter??"

Solar replied,"Well.Not technichlly.I'm just saying.You may not need that."

Tim said,"Well.There's an old saying on Earth.Better to have it,and not need it.Than need it and not have it."

Solar replied,"OK.Suit yourself."

As the two humans walked around town.It was late evening.And all the stores were closed.The only place open was a tavern.Solar looked at Tim and asked,"How about a drink??"

Tim replied,"Sounds good to me.Lead on."

Solar and Tim entered the tavern called "The Golden Shoe"And both walked up to the bar.Solar saw Berry Punch,who worked there as a bartender and said,"Hey Berrry.Whatever you got on tap,two."

Berry Punch said,"Oh hi Prince Solar.Good to see you.Two beers comin up."

Berry Punch took 2 ice cold bottles of "Sky Blue brand lager beer out of the fridge and popped both tops and placed them on the bar for Solar and Tim.

Berry Punch said,"So Solar.Who's your friend??"

Solar replied,"This is Tim Miller.Tim.This is Berry Punch."

Tim shook hands with the berry colored earth pony and said,"Hi Berry.Pleased to meet you."

They all talked as both Solar and Tim drank their beer.And had a few laughs,until a big pony walked up and said,"Well well well.Just what do we have here.It's the hairless monkey,who thinks he's a prince."

Solar and Tim turned and looked at the big red earth pony who had a blonde mane and freckles,and he looked mean enough to chew on a 2X4.Solar replied,"And who let you out after dark Assface??"

The pony replied,"Well at least I'm not as ugly as ya'all are.And who's the other monkey??Yer boyfriend.??"

Solar replied,"You jealous??"

Solar then blew a kiss at the pony,seeing as this might get ugly fast.Tim slowly put his hand inside his jacket and gripped his Python snub.

The pony got in Solars face with an angry look and just then......Started laughing and hugged Solar and said,"HAHAHAHA!!!!How are ya Solar??Good seein ya."

Solar replied,"Good seeing you too Big Mac.How are ya??"

Tim then withdrew his hand and had a look of confusion.Solar noticed and said,"Oh.Where are my manners.Tim.This is Big Macintosh.Applejacks brother.Big Mac.This is Tim Miller.He just moved here from What I would call the place I originally came from."

Big Mac shook hands with Tim and said,"Nice ta meet ya there Tim.Welcome ta Ponyville."

Tim replied,"Umm.Yeah.Thanks."

Solar then asked,"Big Mac.You wanna beer??"

Big Mac replied,"Eyup.Why not."

Solar looked over at Berry Punch and said,"Berry.Another one for Big Mac."

As the 3 were continuing to drink.Solar asked,"So Big Mac.What's new??"

Big Mac replied,"Ah gotta go ta Applelossa ina couple a days.Mah cousin Braeburn.Dang fool fell and nearly broke his back.So he's in the hospital fer about two weeks.So I gotta go help out down there.I jis don't know how Applejack will git along without me."

Solar then said,"Hey don't worry about it.If Applejack needs help.We'll all help out.I think,she learned a lesson from the last time she tried to go it alone."

Big Mac smiled and replied,"Thanks alot Solar.I mean that."Big Mac then looked at his watch and said,"Well I gotta go and hit the hay.I'll see ya.Tim.It was nice meetin ya."And finished his beer.

Tim replied,"It was nice meeting you too Big Mac."

With that.The red earth pony left the tavern and went home.Tim and Solar finished their beers and also left the tavern and headed back home.On the way,they saw 3 ponies in black. on the street.All had swords in their hands.

Tim drew his Python and asked,"Solar."Are these friends of yours??"

Solar charged his magic and replied,"No.No they're not.

Solar and Tim were ready.Solar with his magic.Tim with his Colt Python.Then they saw the ponies in black split and run to different sides of the town.Solar and Tim both being warriors both noticed it.

Solar said,"It looks like these guys are trying to divide and conquer."

Tim replied,"Yeah,but let's not give them the chance..I've got you're six."

Solar and Tim bro bumped each others fist and ran to the left of the town and found good cover.In the back of a market booth.No sooner did Tim put his head up a little.A blade flew just inches from the top of his head.Solar saw it too and then

"FIRE BALL STRIKE"

A fireball shot from Solar's hand and struck the would be assassin and dropped like a sack of flour.And knocked him out...Cold.Tim then saw a shadow behind him and Solar.

Tim pushed Solar out of the way and aimed his Colt and fire 3 rounds.

BLAM BLAM BLAM


The other killer caught 2 hallowpoints in the chest and 1 in the head.The head shot turn to ponies skull and brain into red pulp.And fell to the ground,,dead. The third pony pulled off his mask and saw his comrade's brains all over the ground.The pony looked about 19,threw up and ranaway heading out of Ponyville.Tim aimed his Python at him and yelled,"POLICE OFFICER!!!!FREEZE IT DIRTBAG!!!"

Tim was about to run after him,when Solar put his hand on Tim's shoulder and said,"Forget it buddy.He's headed into The Everfree Forest."

Tim asked,"You mean,the forest I was found in??"

Solar replied,"Yeah.Something in there will get him."

Tim looked at the other killer pony knocked out on the ground and asked,"And what about this sack of shit??"

Solar replied,"Let's secure him."Solar again used his magic.

STRIKE BLADES!!!

With the blades on his arms.Solar and Tim ran up to the would be assassin and Solar put one of the blades to his neck.

Solar said,"You search him.I got you covered."

Tim put his Python back in his holster and began to search the pony.

Solar said,"Watch out Tim.These assholes can grow weapons using their own blood."

Tim nodded and took a pair of Peerless Handcuffs from the cuff pouch on the right side of his shoulder rig,and cuffed and secured the suspect.When he finished.Tim rubbed his hands and said,"Just like back home."

Twilight and Spike came running out and said,"Solar..Is everything allright??"

Solar looked at his wife and replied,"OK for us.Not so good for these guys."pointing to the now handcuffed pony and the dead one on the ground.Twilight decided not to look at it.

Solar said,"Tim got him.He saved my life."

Twilight hugged Tim and said,"Thank you Tim. For keeping my husband safe."

Solar looked at Spike and said,"Spike.Get ahold of mom.Tell her I need Shining down here,with a squad of guards.I want at least one pegasi and one bat pony for aerial recon,and the rest unicorns and earth ponies.I need them to search the forest.I also want a prison wagon for this asshole.And a meat wagon for the one Tim killed.Got it??"

Spike replied,"I'm so on it."

Spike wrote the messege and blew flame on it and sent it off.A short time later.The young dragon belched a scroll out of his mouth.And handed it to Solar.

Solar read it and said,"Moms sending the guards.Along with Shining and she's also sending Aunt Luna."

Just then the townsponies were all coming out to see what happened.Spike looked at Solar and said,"Uh-oh Solar.You had better do something about this."

Solar looked at the residents of Ponyvillle and said,"Everypony.Everypony.Please go back to your homes.Everything is allright.There was an incident,but it's over.I will address the people later on today.You have my word as your prince.So please go home."

Mayor Mare who also came out of her house and said,"Prince Solar is right everypony.Please go back to your homes."

The townsponies all reluctantly went back to their homes.Mayor Mare saw the live pony handcuffed,and then saw the dead body,she looked at Solar and asked,"I trust Prince Solar there is an explanantion for all this,and for the small explosions we all heard."

Solar replied,"There is Mayor Mare,but please wait.My aunt Princess Luna is coming with a squad of guards.When she arrives I will tell you everything."

Soon Princess Luna arrived with Shining Armor and a Platoon instead of a squad,and they arrived with a prison wagon,and an ambulance.To transport the handcuffed pony assassin.And to transport the corpse.

Shining Armor came up and hugged his sister and brother in law,and asked,"Are you guys allright??"

Twilight replied,"We're OK Shining.Tim saved Solar's life too."

Shining shook Tim's hand and said,"Thanks Tim.We all owe you one."

Tim replied,"Hey.No problem.The way I see it.I was backing up my partner.....It's a cop thing."

Shining chuckled,"Yeah.It's a Royal Guard thing too.So.What do we have??"

Tim replied,"An attempted murder,with an Officer Involved Shooting.Three suspects.One suspect DOA.One in custody.One ran into the forest."

Shining asked,"What did he look like?"

Tim replied,"Male.Equine.About 6ft.180lbs.Dressed in all black.He was wearing a mask,but he took it off.I really couldn't see his face,but I saw his fur.It was almond colored.And he was armed with a sword."

Shining nodded and turned to his guards and said,"Guardponies!!!Begin a search of The Everfree Forest.And look for a suspected assassin.Male.Equine.6ft.180.Dressed in all black.Use caution.These guys can make weapons out of blood.Do not attempt to take him alone.Pegasi and Batpony.Fly over the forest and keep your eyes open.

All The Guardponies all snapped at attention and said,"YES SIR!!!"And went about their tasks.

Shining looked at Tim and said,"Tim.Princess Celestia is going to want to talk to you about this in the morning.And I'll take this guy and put him in a special cell.After a night in there,he may want to talk.

Solar said,"And Tim and I will be there too."

Tim said,"Yeah.I wanna question this A-Hole too.

Shining replied,"OK.I'll see you guys later.We'll take care of things here."

Solar said,Thanks brother.We'll see ya in Canterlot in the morning."

Both humans then walked back home.Twilight arm in arm with Solar.Spike and Tim behind them.

The next morning.Solar and Tim were up early and on their way to Canterlot to see Princess Celestia,and join Shining Armor in interrorgating the assassin Tim and Solar both busted last night.Now Tim and Solar were in a chariot heading to Solar's hometown.Twilight and Spike would get the girls up and ready for school.Since Tim and Solar have to leave at the crack of dawn.Tim was sleeping on the trip,with his LA DODGERS ball cap slumped over his eyes.Solar could have easily teleported himself and Tim to Canterlot,but Solar didn't want Tim to lose his chow.Something Solar remembered very well from his own childhood.

As soon as Canterlot came into view.Solar nuddged Tim to wake him up.Tim moved his cap and opened his eyes and said,"Are we there yet??"

Solar replied,"Just about"As he took a thermos out and poured some coffee form himself and Tim and they both drank the cafine liquid.

Soon the chariot landed in front of The Royal Castle and both Tim and Solar exited and walked up the steps and were met by Shining Armor.

Shining said,"Good morning guys.Have a good night??"

Tim replied,"Yeah.Not too bad.So where's the prisoner??

Shining replied,"We put him in a special cell,and placed a magic field around him,so he couldn't try to make weapons from his blood."

Shining then handed Tim back his handcuffs and said,"Oh and these I believe are your's,Oh and Tim.Did you search him??"

Tim replied,"Just a standard pat down search.Why??

Shining replied,"Well we search ths guy when we locked him up,and we found something."

Solar asked,"Shining.Was that guy packing a hidden weapon??"

Shining repled,"No,but we found this."

Shining brought out something that looked familiar to Tim.

Shining asked,"Tim do you recognize this??"

Tim answered,"Yeah.It looks like the amulet,that brought me here.Where did you find it??"

Shining replied,"He had in a bag around his neck in his shirt.I think he was gonna use it for him and his guys to escape after killing my Brother in law and maybe even you."

Solar said,"I'll bet.Come let's go and talk to this guy."

Shining said,"Yeah.A nights stewing,should have lossened his tounge,but first."

Shining pointed the amulet away and opened it.Tim recognized the city.It was L.A. It was home.

Solar looked at Tim and asked,"Is this??What I think it is??"

Tim replied,"Yes.It's Los Angeles California.My home.And yours too Solar."

Solar replied,"No buddy.My parents were from there.I was born in Equestria.It's my home."

Tim nodded and said,"I guess your right.Come on we got business to attend to."

Tim,Solar and Shining.walked down to the deungon and Tim unloaded his Colt and put it in a box and left it with a guardpony.Soon all three entered the cell where the pony assassin was being held in.He was bound in a magic field around his body,so he couldn't make his escape.Or try to make weapons from his own blood.

Solar looked at the pony and said,"You're Royally fucked now pal."

Shining Armor said,"Yep.Attempted assassination of a head of state.A memeber of The Royal Guard.And also attempted murder on a Police Officer.

The pony simply replied,"I have nothing I wish to say to you."

Solar replied,"Uh-huh.And I suppose you are not a member of "The New Blood".Am I right??"

The pony again said,"I have nothing to say."

Tim then asked,"You ever been to L.A.??"

The pony replied,"Where??"

Tim said,"L.A. Los Angeles California.The city on Earth.That I'm from....Answer me."

The Pony replied,"I will say only this."

Just then the pony produced two blades from his wrists and made an X,and put the blades to his neck.And yelled,"ALL HAIL TO THE NEW BLOOD!!!!!EQUESS AND EARTH WILL BATHE IN THE BLOOD!!!!"

Just then the pony assassin quickly used the blades to slice his head off and it fell to the fllor.The rest of his body.now a headless corpse went limp and fell to the ground and blood drained out.The head was on the other side of the room and was too far to connect and regenerate.The pony was dead.

Solar,Shining and Tim looked in horror and Tim said,"That was fuckin insane."

Shining said,Yeah."I guess he was more afraid of his masters than of us."

Tim said,"I guess,but now.We're back to square one."Tim looked at Solar and asked,"So what now man??"

Solar replied,"Now we go and see my mom,and give her a full report.

Shining leaned over to Tim and said,"One thing about Solar.He's a momma's boy."

Tim chuckled and replied,So I noticed."

Solar looked at both Pony and human and replied,"Lets just go.And fuck you guys."

Solar.Shining and Tim walked back to the guard station,and Shining gave orders that the body be removed for autopsy,and Tim was given his Python bad ammo back.After reloading the handgun and reholstering.The trio walked up to the throne room.On the way they saw Princess Luna,who came back early from Ponyville and smoothed things over with Mayor Mare over the incident.

Solar said,"Good morning Aunt Luna."

Princess Luna hugged her nephew and replied,"Good moring Solar.I'm sorry we didn't have time to talk last night."She then looked at Tim and asked,"And is this the new friend from What was the name of your world??"

Tim bowed in respect and replied,Earth ma'am.Detective Tim Miller.Los Angeles Police Department.At your service."

Princess Luna replied,"Oh please Detective Miller.Rise.I thank you for all you have done since you have been in our land.And for keeping my nephew safe."

Tim replied,"It was nothing I would have done for anyone Your Highness.As a police officer.I swore an oath to protect and serve."

Princess Luna said."And he is modest too.I look foreward to seeing you again Detective.However for now,I must get some rest,and you Solar musn't keep you mother waiting."

Solar replied,"Of course Auntie.We'll see you later then,"

The trio then walked into the throne room,and saw Princess Celestia holding court.All the ponies in the room looked they wanted something.Tim saw this before.

Tim said,"This looks filmiliar."

Solar asked,"How so??"

Tim replied,"When I was in uniform.I worked a few L.A.City Council meetings.To grab some overtime pay.And some were there to suck up and wanted something."Politics.In any world."

Princess Celestia saw the trio and said,"We will continue later this afternoon.Right now.I have a few other matters to attend to."The regal alicorn stood up from her throne and all in the room rose.Princess Celestia motioned for her son and his friends to join her.

Tim.Solar and Shining Armor followed Princess Celestia to her private chambers and she sat at her desk and put her glasses on.She said,"Gentlecolts.Did the supect have anything to say??"

Tim replied,"No Your Highness.He shouted something about Equess and Earth drowning in blood then produced 2 blades from his arms and did a Ginsu act on himself.Cutting his own head off."

Solar asked,"Ginsu??"

Tim replied,"A brand of kitchen knife on Earth."

Solar replied,"Oh."

Princess Celestia said,"Hmmm.So it would seem to me that members of The New Blood are more afraid of their masters than of us."

Solar replied,"We came to the same conculsion too mom."

Shining Armor said,"And it would seem using a magic field to prevent them from making weapons from their own blood,was I'm sorry to say...Ineffective."

Princess Celestia then said,"Hmmm.We willl continue to unravel this mystery.Until then.Tim I hear Ms.Pinkie Pie is throwing you a party back in Ponyville.So I think you should move into your new home,and get ready for that party."

Tim replied,"Yes.That's a good idea.Your Highness.And I would love it,if you and Princess Luna would attend.It would mean alot to me.Since you have welcomed me to Equestria."

Princess Celestia smiled and replied,"Of course Tim.And thank you.We shall both be there.See you then."

All 3 then left the throne room.Solar went to get 3 chariots ready to fly back to Ponyville.Tim and Shining went to get the rest of Tims weapons and other things,but he also had other things on his mind,but that would late until later.Now it was party time.
