> The Marvelous Six > by Chemtest > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Snap > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Six ponies stand in front of Discord. Six blotches of Harmony upon his beautiful canvas of Chaos. Their colors, normal. Their personality, normal. Everything about them is normal, and thus abnormal. Discord loves abnormality, but not when that abnormality is because of normality. So, he is thrown into a infinite loop of neutrality, seeing the six as only enemies. He looks down upon the ponies with amused disdain, “Ugh, you six again? Did you not learn from your last attempt? I won, you lost! Game over, man, game over!” Pinkie takes a firm stance, “Game not over, girl, game not over!” Discord shoots back, “Game questionable, attack helicopter, game questionable!” Pinkie takes in another breath, but Twilight interrupts her, “Discord, we are here to stop you!” Discord glares at her, “Ugh, then there is you. Where is your sense of fun or humor? At least Pinkie Pie tries to funny.” She stomps a hoof on the ground, “Enough games, Discord!” Discord gasps, and falls over in his chair, “Enough games?! Oh, Twilight Sparkle, have you no shame? Need I introduce myself again? Discord, Spirit of Chaos and Disharmony? And you say enough games?” He shakes his head, “Tut, tut, Sparkle, bad pony. Don’t make me get a newspaper.” Twilight shakes her head, “Stop distracting! Girls, come on!” The six of them start to float in the air, with their Elements glowing. Discord’s eyes widen on sight of this. As the Elements connect themselves Discord switches his opinion and smiles. He laughs as they all connect, “Oh no, the Elements of Harmony. Whatever is a Spirit of Chaos like myself to do? Oh wait, I know!” The rainbow beam gets closer to him, and he snaps. Within a blink, he is standing next to his throne. He leans against it, and smiles as the Elements turn it to stone. Twilight gasps, “What- but- that isn’t possible!” Discord throws his throne away, and creates an even bigger one that is white and red all over. He lounges in it again, “Oh yes, something isn’t possible. Real great thing to say in front of me, you know, the Spirit of doing stuff seen as impossible?” He holds up a nail file, and starts rubbing his talons, “Honestly, I don’t know why others haven’t thought of it. Not like you put any urgency behind it anyway.” Twilight looks at her friends, “Then we’ll do it once more!” Discord snaps, and holds her crown in his paw. He smiles, “Sorry, Sparkle, but no.” He crushes the crown in his paw, and holds up the purple gem in the air, “I tried so hard to make you happy with my Chaos. I give you food, I give you fun, I tell jokes, and the entire world is one giant party. Yet you ponies just cannot give up your indoctrination for Harmony. Eh, I suppose that’s my own fault, should’ve led your ancestors better. Should’ve been King, not Ordirus. But, that’s the past.” He throws the gem up in the air, “This is the present.” He catches it back in his paw, “And it soon will be a new chaotic future.” Twilight growls, “We will never submit to you, Discord.” He smiles, “Oh, I know, I know. That’s why I will make you see from my perspective. You need to see a world that failed in trying for Harmony to understand my Chaos. To see the horror of them, and realize why you have it so good under me.” Rainbow flies up, “Yeah, go ahead and try it! We’ll never fall like you!” Discord laughs, “Oh, idea! What if you, weren’t you?” He smiles, “Oh, yes, I can make a time paradox and make you understand!” Twilight shakes her head, “A time paradox? You wouldn’t. You can’t!” Discord smirks, “Oh, poor Twilight, thinking I would decide not to do something. Let’s just say that those who should protect time are not available to do so. They can’t stop me, so who will?” Twilight takes a step back, “Discord, please, time is not to be messed around with! That’s too much, you’d destroy everything!” He looks at his talons, “Will I? I really don’t know. Now that’s a first, I don’t know something.” Twilight rushes at him, “Discord, please, stop! You might die!” He smiles, “If anything goes wrong, the Time Stone will fix it.” ——— Thanos kneels there, a magical axe shoved through his chest by a very angry Thor. Thor shoves it further in, “You feel that, Thanos? That feeling of your death approaching? Good, now we have something in common. But don’t worry, that feeling will overwhelm you soon enough.” Thanos coughs roughly, and looks at Thor, “You... you should... you should’ve gone for the head!” With that proclamation, Thanos raises the Gauntlet. ——— Discord laughs as he says that last sentence, and brings his talons together, with Twilight hopelessly charging him. ——— *Snap!* The two snaps carry power all across the galaxy. One snap wipes out half of all living beings on a planet, and another falls for a time change and for a body swap. The power of the two clash with one another, until they start to mingle and mix. The Time Stone senses the presence of a time altering power, and decides to latch upon that. The Mind and Soul Stones see parts of the spell that change their respective categories. The Reality Stone sees the fact that this would alter reality, and stabilizes it. The Power Stone decides to lend it’s own stability to the spell, as to give it a better effect. And the Space Stone decides to expand the effects of the spell. The spell from Discord also latches onto the minds of those who had been near Thanos and had given him trouble. ——— The sun rises in Equestria, the ponies rise to greet the day. They all smile and prepare, knowing of the Summer Sun Celebration that would occur in Ponyville tomorrow. All, except for six. Twilight Sparkle is shocked awake within her room, and she starts to feel all around herself, “I’m fine? But, Thanos... we lost! How am I here?” She then looks at her body, “A pony? Oh boy, Wong would love to see me now.” He looks to his left, and sees a cloak and pendent waiting there, waiting for him. She smiles, “Well, at least I still have you two.” Far away, in Ponyville, a pink pony starts to gasp for air. After a few seconds of gasping, she gingerly touches her throat, “I- I can breathe? I can breathe!” She looks around, “Wait... this isn’t the Statesman.” She then looks down at her body, “And I’m a pony. A pink pony.” She sighs, and seems to create a helmet on her head out of nowhere. Golden, green, and with two horns rising up. She smiles, “Much better.” Down the road, a white pony wakes from her sleep as well. She looks around, “Oh no, big guy, not again.” She then looks down at her body, “I don’t care how long I was out, you have got some explaining to do.” She sighs, “Couldn’t fight Thanos, but you can take control long enough for me to forget. Wonderful, real wonderful.” He looks to a bedside table, and smiles as he sees his glasses there. He smiles, and slips them onto his unfamiliar face, “At least I can see now.” On the outskirts of the town, a yellow pony quickly awakes. She looks around her cottage, “Mister Stark? Mister Stark, please, are you there?” She looks down at her hooves, with spider webbing at the end of them, “Mister Stark, I still am not feeling that good.” She then looks back to see wings, shoved against the bed, “Oh, that would make sense.” She then looks out the window, and starts shouting, “Mister Stark, please, I could use some help!” On another outskirt of the town, is a barn. In this barn, is a orange pony that slowly opens her eyes, “What? Bucky, that you?” She then opens her eyes, and sees her vision obscured by a hat. She takes it off, and looks at it, “But... Thanos won, how am I here? Why do I sound Southern?” She then follows his hoof to his body, “A horse? Is this punishment for something, God?” She then sees the sun catch something shiny. She then faces the shiny object, being greeted by a blue shield with a star in the center, “If that’s here... Tony, what have you done?” And far in the sky is a cloud shaped like a house. Within wakes a blue pegasus, “No!” She then looks around, “No?” She then takes a look around some more, “This doesn’t look like any of the Realms.” She then looks at herself, “A colorful horse?” She looks all around, until her eyes land upon an axe in the corner of the room, right next to some armor with a red cape. She smiles, “Brother, I feel this is your doing.” ——— Twilight awakes in an empty void, with a bright entity looking at her. She looks at the incandescent orange light as it takes a form like hers. She asks, “Where am I?” The Soul Stone forms a smile, “Welcome, Twilight Sparkle. This is the Soul Stone. You and your friends shall inhabit this space with me. That is, until you have bodies that are empty.” ——— Twilight gets out of her bed, and her cloak levitates over to her, “Let’s get out of here.” > How Strange > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The cloak automatically clasps itself around Twilight, and changes shape to the new form. Twilight tries to take a step forward, only to fail completely and fall over. She crawls back up to all hooves, and nods, “Right, well, I’m not going to be walking.” The cloak then works it’s magic, and she starts to slightly levitate above the floor. With this done, she floats towards the door, all while making movements to mimic how she would normally walk. The door, however, was the next problem. Twilight looks at the knob with confusion, and then at her hooves. After failing to find an answer, she decides to tap into her magic. Little did she know, there was a new magic within her. So, when she spun her hooves around in midair, the horn on her head lit up. Her horn detects her will, and twists the knob on the door. The door, thusly swings open. Twilight taps her head, and ends up flinching as she punches her horn, “Oh! Alright then. A new source of magic. One that listens to my will. Interesting.” She then moves on through, and closes the door behind her. With that done, she turns to the window within the hallway. It faces the south, and allows a good view of the landscape. Twilight is immediately drawn to something in a town at the foot of the mountain she is on. Her amulet opens up with some hoof movements, and the Time Stone reveals itself. It adds it’s own magic to Twilight’s as she looks down. Five oddities appear, disturbances in time. Twilight smiles, a destination made obvious. Until she hears hoofsteps behind her, “Twilight?” She turns around, seeing Celestia standing there, “Oh, hi.” A maid squeezes down the hallway, “Excuse me, Princess.” Twilight holds her breath, thinking deeply. Seeing the Princess’s informal stance and voice, she decides to meet it with informality as well, “Good morning, Princess.” Celestia nods, “Indeed it is. I hadn’t expected you to be awake so soon.” She smiles, “What are you doing at the window?” Twilight smiles, trying to hide her anxiety, “Just, you know... magic?” Celestia takes the answer, “Really should’ve expected that answer. Were you trying that magnifying spell again?” Twilight holds an inner sigh of relief, and nods, “Yeah, and I just had to see that town down there closer. It looks so... nice from here.” Celestia smiles, “You find Ponyville to be nice?” Twilight nervously nods, “Oh yeah, not common we get to see villages that size anymore. All the others near here have become ugly and urbanized.” Celestia nods, “Ponyville has always been a very rustic and traditional place. I’m sure you saw the preparations for the Celebration?” Twilight shrugs, “Ah, well, the spell didn’t exactly work, so... no.” Celestia smiles, “Then allow me to inform you that you will be getting a closer look. I want you to check on the preparations, my pupil, make sure all is going smooth.” Twilight absorbs all information offered to her, “Of corse, Princess. You know I would never fail you.” Celestia nods, “That I do. I have a carriage outside, and I’ve already woken Spike and sent him.” Twilight smiles, and tries to slip past Celestia, “I’d best be going then.” Celestia stops Twilight as she floats down the hall, not even bothering to do the miming to escape Celestia. She frowns, “Twilight, are you feeling all right?” Twilight turns around, and smiles smugly, “A bit Strange. Have a good day, Princess.” Doctor Strange shudders as he rushes down the hallway with his levitation. Twilight’s hair raises, and breathes a sigh of relief. She managed to trick what appeared to be a Goddess into believing she was her student. Who knows what she is like, or if she would accept Strange if he told her the truth. Twilight also wonders what they would do with the Time Stone, and shudders at the thought of losing it in her new form. But that doesn’t matter, for now. Now, Strange has some time disturbances to investigate. ——— Applejack greets the day by grabbing the shield leaning on the wall. Her hoof slips right in, and maintains a grip. She caresses the shield, making sure it’s the real thing. Sure enough, it is. She throws it against a wall, causing it to bounce back to her, and she catches it right back. She spins around, throwing it once more. It bounces off the wall, then onto the other, before finally finding it’s way onto her hoof. It’s only then that she hears the gasp of shock. She looks to the doorway, and sees Apple Bloom in her doorway, “Wow, I didn’t know you could do that! You truly are the best sis ever!” Steve’s eyes widen as he looks at the tiny, cute pony now hugging him. Applejack eventually recovers from the shock, and hugs the cute and fluffy pony back. In another part of the town, another is dealing with a sister. Sweetie Belle pouts, “Come on, sis, you can’t walk me to school?” Rarity sits there, glasses pushed far up her mussle, and her head grapsed in between her hooves, “Sorry, but big sis is having an identity crisis. I’m sure you can survive walking to school for just one day? I can walk you there later.” Sweetie Belle sighs, and opens the door, “Then I’ll go. All alone. Unsupervised. Through a town that might be filled with bad ponies. All alone.” Rarity nods, “Yes. If any bad pony does anything to you, then I will punch them. You’ll be fine.” Sweetie Belle relents, and walks out the door, closing it behind her. Rarity continues a mental argument, “Don’t say you didn’t have anything to do with this. If you could get us stranded on an alien junkyard, I would put this past you.” She pauses, “Yes, I know ponies are weak. I am currently one! And no, those aliens were not strong.” She pauses once again, “Puny humans, excuse me? They managed to beat you at least two times. Remember Hulk Buster and Thor? Yeah, yeah, they aren’t ‘puny humans’. They’re Avengers, same as you.” Banner pauses for longer, “Here? You think they have been stranded here just like us? Hulk, come on, that’s insane. Although, considering what we currently are, I’d say insane isn’t too far off reality.” There’s another that is having an argument. Fluttershy look around her cottage at all the animals around, “Oh no, I’m in a zoo.” She marches to the door, and sees a Spidy-Suit on a coat rack. She takes it off, and puts it on. Stark’s technology adapts to her form, making Fluttershy indistinguishable. The animals look at her, and start to speak, “Wait, you guys speak!?” The animals all turn around to the shocked yell of Fluttershy, but all they see is an open door. Fluttershy runs as fast as she can, and shoots a web to a far off building. She latches on, and goes for the roof. On top of the roof, Peter decides to start to think over everything he’s seen. In a nearby building, Pinkie Pie stands in the kitchen. She smiles as she whips out a cake-o-maticTM and instantly bakes a cake out of nothing. She then smashes this cake on the floor, and turns the spatter into many more daggers to be hidden within her hair. Cup and Carrot Cake stare at Pinkie Pie. Cup Cake turns to her husband, “Honey, should we stop her?” He shakes his head, “It’s just Pinkie being Pinkie.” She nods, “Well, yeah, but Pinkie usually doesn’t wear a golden, horned helmet. Nor does she usually wear a black suit with a green cape.” Pinkie turns and smiles at them, “Oh, don’t worry about me, I’m just going to trick some people.” Loki then decides to bounce out the back door. Far above her is her brother. Rainbow stands at the edge of her house with an axe grasped in her hooves. She smiles, and starts to spin. Thor slowly starts to gain speed, and prepares to find Loki in the illusion. And approaching at a similar altitude is Twilight, in a chariot with Spike. Doctor Strange smiles as he looks at the town, and his cape flows in the wind. > Strange Meetings > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Twilight smiles at Spike as they land, “Alright, Spike, I want you to go in the library and stay there.” Spike tilts his head, “Really?” She smiles and nods, “Has to be organized, probably. Besides, I can take care of everything else.” Spike shrugs, “Alright then, if you say so.” With that complete, Twilight turns and levitates down the road. Ponies all around smile and wave, not noticing the levitation. Twilight’s cloak raises itself, and waves back to all of them. But, Twilight herself doesn’t have time to spare on them. She’s going to meet the time disturbance that is walking down the road towards the town. At least, that is what she planned to do. That is all stopped by a high pitched voice from behind her, “You!” Twilight creates a magical circle around her hoof as she hears hoof steps charging closer. At the last second, she spins around and meets a dagger with the magic. She’s met, face to face, with one of the time discrepancies. She smiles at the pink pony, “Me?” Pinkie holds the dagger firmly, “Thirty minutes, sorcerer! You made me fall for thirty minutes and got away without a scratch!” She smiles, “How about I make you fall into Hel?” Twilight smiles, and forms a portal below Pinkie’s feet, and one above her head, causing her to start to fall rapidly. Twilight smiles, “You know, a magician never likes to use the same trick, but that one seemed to work so well last time. Let’s hear an encore and maybe we’ll go for an hour!” Twilight thinks all is fine, until Pinkie stops herself with a hoof catching the ground. She pulls herself out of the portal, and back onto the ground, “Do not think that will work on me. I am stronger in this body then I ever would be in my old!” Twilight backs up a bit, and let’s her cloak carry her further into the air, “You aren’t the one who can fly. I don’t see wings or a horn on that.” Pinkie smiles, “You underestimate me, you underestimate this body.” Pinkie Pie’s hair starts to spin rapidly, spinning like many blades. After a second of spinning, she starts to lift off the ground, and charges after Twilight with daggers grasped. Twilight barely manages to dodge, the end of the cloak getting cut by one of the daggers. She has to dodge quickly as a bunch of daggers are thrown her way. They come too quick, though, and one barely catches her ear. Pinkie draws another five daggers from her hair, only to be caught on the side by a web. She is stuck to the side of a building as a mare lands on the ground below, dressed in a red and blue Spidy-Suit. Fluttershy smiles behind her mask, “Hey, Doctor, sorry I was late.” Twilight floats down to the ground, with a crowd of ponies all around, “Not bad, kid. I could’ve defeated him though.” Fluttershy shrugs, “Looks like she got your ear pretty bad. What’d you even do to her?” Twilight looks up at Pinkie, “Made him fall for thirty minutes. That’s Loki, if you couldn’t pick up on it.” As Twilight says this, she receives a punch to the back of the head. She falls to the ground, but is stopped by the cloak. Both her and Fluttershy look behind them, to see Pinkie standing there, “You made a mistake, Strange. All I’m asking for is a punishment.” Fluttershy looks back to the webs, only to find Pinkie broken out. Pinkie’s hair maintains it’s spin, keeping her aloft. Fluttershy then has her shoulder tapped by Pinkie, “And you, you I can forgive. Just don’t do that again.” Another Pinkie bounces the other out of the way, “Yeah, or we’ll crush you as well!” Yet another Pinkie catches Twilight with a punch, “Our only concern is with the Doctor.” Pinkie after Pinkie come from everywhere. Alleyways, windows, walls, sewers, everywhere. Twilight and Fluttershy start to be harassed by the Pinkies, and the ponies all around question their sanity. But all the illusions suddenly stop as a pony approaches the scene. This pony carries a shield in her hoof, and throws it at the real Pinkie. Pinkie manages to easily dodge the shield, smiling at Applejack, “Ah, you. Don’t you remember how easily I beat you last time? Why should this time be any different?” Applejack catches her shield as it flies back to her. She looks up at Pinkie, “Because you saw what happened when we didn’t work together, Loki. Thanos won, we lost!” Pinkie stops her smile, “He... won? That’s impossible, you should’ve been able to beat him!” Applejack nods, “You are right, we should have. But we did not have anyone prepared, we lost some of our best allies before it even began! You, Hulk, Ant Man, Spider Man, Stark, we even didn’t have Thor until it was too late!” Fluttershy speaks up, “Actually, Mister Stark, Strange and I were fighting Thanos as well.” Another feminine, posh voice speaks, “But we didn’t fight together.” Applejack turns to face the newcomer, and instantly recognizes her because of her glasses, “Banner?” Rarity nods, “Yep. Nice to see you too, Steve, even if in an odd form.” As soon as she is done speaking, a body falls from the sky. Rainbow Dash crashes into the ground, making a miniature crater, and an axe falls next to her. She raises out, and looks around, dazed, “Where is Loki? I know you’re behind this!” Pinkie dives towards the ground, dismissing all the clones. She smiles at Rainbow, “I’m right here, brother.” Rainbow looks at her oddly, “I thought you died? No, of corse, fake your death once again. But why are we in this illusion?” Pinkie shrugs, “This isn’t an illusion. At least, not my illusion. And, no, brother, I actually did die.” Applejack interrupts, “Perhaps we could talk about this somewhere more private?” Pinkie nods, and proclaims, “All you in the audience will forget everything you heard since we started fighting!” The mind magic does it work, and the ponies turn back to their jobs. Twilight gets off the ground, bruises on her face, “Perhaps it’s time we can talk it out, for once?” Rainbow nods, “Agreed. Where’s the nearest bar?” > Night > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The six talk over mugs of cider in the Ponyville tavern. Each of them explain what they did with Thanos, and how they got there. Applejack smiles, “Apparently I am in the body of a family ordinated horse.” Pinkie interrupts, “Pony, Captain. I don’t think they would like if you called them a horse.” Applejack turns to her, “Really? And, why is that, Loki?” She shakes her head, “No, no, you absolutely suck at this illusion stuff. I am Pinkie, Applejack. Learn the names before ponies get suspicious.” She sighs, “Okay then, Pinkie. Why is that?” Pinkie smiles, “Well, I’ve managed to gain a lot of knowledge from being in this body. And calling one a ‘horse’ is derogatory. To them, ‘horse’ means fat.” Twilight takes a small sip, “And why is it that you were granted this knowledge?” She points to her eyes, “Unlike you bunch, I actually listen to my body and it’s previous inhabitant. The real Pinkie Pie rests far away, yet she is still able to communicate. Her being a part of the Space Stone would make that happen.” They all notice the faint, blue glow in her eyes, “So, you managed to communicate with the body’s previous holder? How is that?” She nods, “I opened my inner ears up to her. That moment that I woke up and was choking is the moment she reached out to me. She spoke to me, and taught me all about herself, her body, and the land.” Rainbow puts down her own flask, “Still, you must be haunted by the memories of what happened?” Pinkie looks around the table, and sees she is the only one with a smile, “Well... yes.” All of them slam their drinks down. Fluttershy is the first who can ask the question, “How?!” Pinkie shrugs, “I just have.” Applejack leans forward, “You were choked to death by Thanos. You lost to him. You saw half of your people die! How can you just get over that? The ghosts of your past should still haunt you!” Pinkie smiles, “Well, as Pinkie would say-“ She then giggles, and her way of speaking seems to pick up in pace, “Giggle at the ghosties!” The giggle then turns to a laugh, and her pace slows back down to how it was before, “Or, as Pinkie forgot to mention, titter at Thanos!” Pinkie laughs uproariously at her own joke, bumping her own hooves together. Twilight leans back, “Excuse me, but have you gone mad?!” She looks at her, hurt, “Mad? You do the same exact thing, Sparkle. Always making quips and jokes. I thought you would be happy. Well, happy after I got my revenge.” She shakes her head, “No, I do not laugh like a madman after every joke I say!” Pinkie smiles, and her speech picks up in pace once more, “Like a madman? Nopeadodil right there, Twilight! I’m laughing like a gladman!” Her pace then slows back down, “See, Sparkle, here is where we differ. I now see the truth of life. Life is given value not intrinsically but by how much you laugh within.” Twilight leans forward, “Excuse me, but did you just say life is a joke? We can’t defeat Thanos if you wont accept responsibility!” Pinkie snaps back, “And we won’t defeat him if we are all sad! Okay?! Here we are, shouting at each other over a table wherever we should be paying attention! Like the fact that we’ve gone back in time? Or that we are all ponies?!” She slams a hoof down on the table, “Think, Strange, for once in your mortal life before we lose again!” She sighs, “I never said life was a joke, Sparkle. All I said was that laughter is what defines life.” Twilight crosses her hooves, “So what? Oh boy, you found a meaning in life, how does that help us!?” Pinkie smiles softly, “Because, Twilight, that is a key to defeat Thanos. He may have Infinity Stones, but we have our minds, and we have the combined powers of these bodies and ourselves. Think, please, of how much better we have it now. With these powers, we can defeat Thanos. And where he has Space, we have Laughter.” Rarity speaks up, “She is right. Thanos was reset in time, we were sent back. We have time to prepare, to improve.” Pinkie nods, “Yes, exactly. Now, come on, night falls.” Pinkie stands from the table, and throws down a bag of bits, “How about we go see Celestia raise the Sun?” ——— The six of them move through the town hall, which has been left bland and undecorated. Some seem to glare at Rarity as she passes, but their anger soon changes to indifference. Rainbow decides to fly above the crowd, and Fluttershy decides to stick to the ceiling. The other four just walk to the front of the crowd, and wait. After a while, a mare walks out onto the balcony, “Mares and gentlecolts, I would like to welcome you to the One Thousandth Summer Sun Celebration! Now, without further delay, I present to you Her Majesty, Princess Celestia!” The impromptu curtains roll open, and reveal a whole lot of nothing within a few stage lights. Everyone all around freaks out at the absence of Celestia, until a dark fog rolls into the room. A mist condenses itself on the balcony as the lights go out. The only light is the bright shining of the moon, now pure white. The newcomer laughs, “You got Her Majesty right, but allow me to correct you. Her Majesty, Nightmare Moon! All of you shall bow to my royal right! And say hello to the beautiful, eternal-“ “Excuse me!” She shuts up and pays attention to the pony in a red cloak that floats up from the audience. Twilight smiles, the Time Stone within her pendent lighting up the room instead of the moon, “Sorry, I think the higher ups got confused. We ordered a vanilla Princess, not blueberry!” Nightmare Moon growls, “You would dare, imprudent unicorn?! You shall-“ She’s interrupted once more as Pinkie taps on her shoulder. Nightmare Moon turns to face the newcomer, only to receive a dagger to the chest. It pierces right though her armor. Pinkie smiles, “Hello there, Luna.” Nightmare Moon staggers back, but not from the wound, “You foal... how do you know that name!?” Another Pinkie walks into Nightmare Moon from behind, and many more appear out of thin air, and speak at once, “There is no escape from the Elements, Luna.” Nightmare Moon looks all around her at the Pinkies. They all draw a dagger as she speaks, “Ah, so you read a book? What do you think you are, a Champion of Harmony? Nay, or we would already be dead.” They all smile, “We might not be a Champion, but we are ready to Laugh.” Nightmare Moon smirks, “Then come after us, delusional Bearer. Maybe your delusions will be made clear to you!” With that final remark, Nightmare Moon fades back into mist, and rushes out the door. Pinkie bounces quickly out the door, “After her!” > Forest > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The six all come to the edge of the Everfree Forest. Twilight looks at Pinkie, “Mind telling me how exactly you know where she went?” Pinkie smiles, “Communication, remember?” She bounces forward, “Come on! There’s no time to lose!” They all rush after Pinkie, yet Pinkie doesn’t slow down. Until, very suddenly, Pinkie stops. She shouts, “Stop!” The others barely manage to skid to a halt before a drop. Pinkie starts to bounce sideways, “There’s a bridge over here.” The others all sigh, and follow after until Pinkie stops once more. They all look up to see Pinkie staring down a old pony, “I am the Bridgekeeper! I shall keep this bridge. If you wish to get across this bridge, you must answer three questions.” Pinkie narrows her eyes, “You aren’t supposed to be here.” The Bridgekeeper looks on back, “A pony has called me back to life, and I answered. The Moon was threatened, and knew you can’t answer these questions.” Applejack steps up, and takes Pinkie’s place, “Ask me your questions, then.” The Bridgekeeper smiles, “What is your favorite color?” Applejack nods, “Blue.” The Bridgekeeper nods, “What is your name?” Applejack smiles, “Steve Rodgers.” The Bridgekeeper narrows his eyes, “Hmm... technically true. Very well then. What is the average air velocity of a laden Griffin?” Applejack pauses, and Pinkie interrupts. Her higher rate of speech coming through, “Equestrian or Griffonian?” The Bridgekeeper pauses, “What?” With that utterance, he flies away, leaving the bridge open. Applejack slowly follows after, “How did you know that?” Pinkie smiles, “Powers beyond your comprehension!” Once again, Pinkie bounces ahead at nearly impossible speeds. It is no wonder, then, that she ended up running into a tree. The others catch up, only to see a very odd looking creature standing over Pinkie. Twilight takes a step forward, but this created then looks up at them. It is like a pony, but it’s wings have become those of a bat’s, and it’s horn is pure black. It has fangs coming out of it’s mouth, and it’s eyes are green and reptilian. It’s mane are dark blue and black, and it’s body is covered in holes. It’s horn lights up with green magic, and the five all collapse into sleep. It then turns to Pinkie, and tries to start it’s feeding. Within Pinkie’s mind is a nightmare. The original Pinkie’s voice has faded away, leaving only Loki to the mind. He finds himself somewhere dark, with fire burning all around him. He looks around, now in his Frost Giant form, yet still in his green attire. He looks up, and sees Odin standing there, glaring down at Loki. On his fist, is the Infinity Gauntlet, now with the Space Stone within. Odin looks at the dagger near his throat, held in Loki’s hands. He tilts his head, “You would betray me once more? You think you could kill me? You always were a traitor, and I never should have trusted you.” His other hand reaches out, and picks up Loki by his throat. Loki chokes, and Odin smiles, “You always were a failure compared to your brother. Not even a Asgardian, but filth given a royal life. You betrayed us to take over, you betrayed us by invading Earth, and now you’ve betrayed us by giving the Space Stone away so freely. You are a traitor and a failure, Loki. You never should’ve been a god.” Loki’s hands pry at the hand around his neck, but they cannot pry it free. Odin tilts his head, “Are you scared, Loki? Now you know how the humans felt. Do you know how many you killed? Do you know how many died in New York!?” Odin shifts into Thor, and his brother continues the shouting, “How many the Grandmaster killed while you were friends with him!? How many Hela killed because you couldn’t stop your tricks?! Half of the universe was killed, all because you couldn’t hold onto the Space Stone!” It’s then that a high pitched voice starts to speak. It speaks fast, and the Space Stone glows, “But I will hold onto him, meanie!” Thor drops Loki onto the ground, and looks at the Gauntlet, “What?” The Space Stone starts to glow again, “Do you know what he went through, huh? Bullied by you, overlooked by his father, cast out by his own race! He saved you, and you say he betrayed you! Well, you are wrong!” Thor smiles, “Are you going to say Loki was good, Stone?” The Stone lights up once more, “He wasn’t always good, that is true. He made mistakes when he was emotionally weak. We all do! You wanted to kill an entire race just to send a message! Loki may have been bad in the past, but he learned! By all means, he should be sad and blue! Yet he isn’t.” Loki smiles, and gets to his feet, laughing, “Oh, I’ve just realized how brilliant this all is!” Thor shifts into Strange, “Perhaps you would like to share?” Loki laughs a bit more, “This is a dream, a nightmare! This is supposed to be my greatest fears all mixed together! Oh, I just find it so hilarious that the creature thought this would work. They think I still fear what happened? They are so very wrong. The ghosts of my past are mine to giggle at!” Pinkie suddenly wakes up, starring right into the eyes of the creature, “And I will never be afraid again! Not when there’s room to laugh!” The creature backs away, surprised by the awakening of Pinkie. It tries to cast it’s spell once more, only to find a dagger against it’s neck. It stops, and speaks in a hissing voice, “Please, do not harm me!” Pinkie bounces over to it, and smiles, “Wake them up.” The creature does so, and the other five all shoot awake from their own nightmares. Pinkie nods, “See, I’m not going to harm you, but we need to keep you safe for later questioning.” She looks back at Twilight, “Twilight, make them fall.” Twilight nods, and sets up a dimension for them to infinitely fall in. Pinkie nods, “Let’s get on with it.” > Spirit > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pinkie smiles as she bounces forward, continuing on with her near sonic speeds through the forest. To move so fast is a mistake, however. As she bounces up into the air, a claw strikes her in the face, sending her crashing back to the ground. A giant wolf stands over her, eyes glowing green, “Ponies! We’ve been driven mad by dark, pony to blame! Will send children against cities, will slaughter until fixed!” The other five stop, and look at the wolf. Rainbow holds up her axe, and charges through the wolf. To her shock, the wolf just reforms itself right behind her. Rainbow crashes into a tree, and the branches of the tree seem to swallow her into the tree itself. Twilight has no time to begin fighting before a tree branch reaches over, and bashes her on top of her head. Applejack throws her shield at the wolf, only to have the wolf absorb it. It spits it right on back to Applejack, hitting her right on the head. Rarity decides to turn right around, and try to run. It doesn’t work. As she ends up tripping on some roots, and being dragged into the ground. Only Fluttershy stands, and she stamps down her hoof, “Stop!” The wolf stops, and the entire forest seems to listen. The wolf growls, “Speak, pony-blood. Forest in dark, children in frenzy, corruption! Darkness in Spirit-blood held off. Spirit of Everfree here, speak, give reason not to fight.” Fluttershy smiles, “Well, Spirit, allow me to explain. We are chasing the pony who caused this. We want to stop this. We want to bring light back to the Forest. Please, just let us pass.” The Spirit of the Everfree sniffs the air, “Speak not like pony-blood. Smell around, blessing of spider-blood. Pony chosen of spiders!” The Spirit nods, and the forest releases it’s prisoners, allowing all of them to stand, “Pony-blood trusted. May pass, defeat other pony-blood.” The Spirit fades away, carried away by a gust of leaves. The wolf body falls apart, and becomes naught but twigs on the ground. Pinkie quickly recovers, and starts up her bounce again, “Come on, we haven’t got all day, or... night!” All but her sigh, and follow after Pinkie in her wild run. Once again, Pinkie stops after a while, looking over a river. The others all stop to admire the fast rapids, and the rippling waves. Only when the water starts to die down a bit is when they see some rocks, and a giant purple serpent rising from the waters. It waits and wallows in sadness, it’s constant thrashing about causing the currents. Pinkie tries to reach him, “Excuse me?” When it doesn’t work, Pinkie decides to pick up in volume, “Excuse me?!” It still doesn’t work, and Pinkie takes a deep breath in. However, she it stopped by Rairty stepping up, her throat turning green, “Sir!?” The Hulk-assisted shout catches the serpents attention, and he turns to face Rarity, “Oh no, a crowd to mock me!” Rarity smiles, “I couldn’t help but hear your cries of sadness. What is the problem?” The serpent slowly moves his hand from his face, “The problem is the black shadow that cut off half of my beautiful mustache! She has made the fabulous Stephen Magnet into a laughingstock of fashion!” Rarity looks at his mustache, and sees the cut through one side of it, “Ah, you must really care about looking good then. Your hair, your scales, your eyes, all seem to be perfectly maintained. Just like a well regulated laboratory.” The serpent nods, “Oh yes, it is the world to me. But now I’m ruined by my mustache’s absence!” Rarity nods, “Hmm, I do have to say, the short mustache is not that good looking.” He cries out, “Don’t hold back, kind pony, it’s monstrous, isn’t it?” She smiles, “I actually think I have a solution. Maybe you would look better without the mustache?” He snaps to attention, “Without the mustache? I... I never thought of that.” She nods, “Oh, yes, it can call more attention to your hair to not have a mustache in the way. But, why are you even in a river anyway, if you care about looks?” The serpent looks down at her, “What? Well, I came here to get the finest water and herbs to clean and grow my mustache.” Rarity nods, “Well, maybe moving back to the ocean is also a good idea. More to admire you, and you don’t have to worry about the mustache now!” He smiles, “Oh, that’s a wonderful idea! Thank you, pony. Here, allow me to help you out.” He stretches out his back like a bridge, allowing the six to walk to the other side. Rarity smiles at him, “Have a good time in the sea, friend.” He nods, “I’ll come back to land one day. I will make sure to see you again, then. Goodbye!” Pinkie looks at Stephen as he leaves, and scratches her chin, “Huh. That didn’t go how I expected. How odd that Moon decided to cut his mustache to begin with.” Rainbow looks at Pinkie, “Well, onwards, brother?” Pinkie nods, “Yes, I suppose so.” With that, they all rush off again. However, this time is a lot shorter, as they come to a rickety bridge. Pinkie looks at it, seemingly surprised it’s still up. She looks at Rainbow, “Brother, fly to the other side, and I will take the bridge. Rest of you will hang back for now.” Rainbow nods, and spins her axe within her hooves. With enough speed, she flies over the ravine. She does, however, come to a crashing end on the other side. Pinkie bounces over the bridge, making sure that her bounces are very light and quick. With one final bounce, she arrives at the last plank on the bridge. As she does so, a fog rolls in. A pony steps out of the fog, cutting the rope holding the bridge up. Pinkie barely manages to get a hold on the edge of the cliff, yet she seems to be slipping. Rainbow turns to try and help Pinkie, only to be hit into the ground by a hammer. She turns around to see a mare, with what seem to be dark antlers coming off of her head. She smiles, Mjølnir in hoof, “You aren’t going to rescue her.” She reaches down, and picks up Stormbreaker, “You cannot do anything. You cannot fly without this.” Rainbow looks to the cliff edge to see Pinkie starting to slip, “Brother, help me! I’m going to fall!” Thor watches helplessly as Stormbreaker is tossed off the edge of the cliff, and Loki’s hooves are stepped on. His greatest fear, to be powerless. Far away, the mind within the Power Stone senses the emotional weakness of it’s body’s inhabitant. Rainbow Dash takes advantage of this, and reaches out to Thor’s mind, using the Power Stone to her will. Rainbow’s eyes light up with a magenta glow, and two minds connect. Both minds are filled with knowledge of the other, and both communicate each other’s life to the other. Both immediately understand the other’s powers, and motivations. The glow fades, but does not entirely dissapear from Rainbow’s eyes as she stares at Hela in mare form. Her wings flare out, and flap. With a single flap, she tackles Hela off the cliff. She quickly drops Hela into the abyss, grabbing Stormbreaker, and smashing Hela down with it. The axe cuts into her, and both it and Hela fall even deeper. Pinkie’s grip fails, and she starts to fall. However, Rainbow catches her, and both land back on the cliff, safe. Rainbow also reforges the bridge with a bolt of lighting, allowing the others to start to cross. Pinkie looks in Rainbow’s eyes, and sees the glow, “You also connected?” Rainbow nods, “Yes, and I have been given a new outlook and mission. We must stay loyal to our virtues. We will defeat Discord.” Pinkie smiles, “Wonderful.” She summons some daggers, “The hunt is on!” Rainbow holds out her hand, and Stormbreaker comes flying up from the ravine. She grabs it with a hoof, and smiles, “Luna shall be redeemed, whether she wants to or not.” > Castle > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pinkie and Rainbow stop everyone else when they walk up to an alter with five stone spheres upon it. Pinkie smiles, “Here they are, the Elements of Harmony. They shall free Luna from the Nightmare’s corruption. Twilight, if you would, go ahead and start casting spells upon it. We need to find the sixth.” Twilight nods, and summons her orange magic, and starts to mess with the Elements. Pinkie smiles as they interact with each other, causing Twilight to be thrown to a different part of the castle. Pinkie nods at Rainbow, “And now, we wait for five minutes.” In another room, Nightmare Moon stares down Twilight. She smirks, “So, you made-“ Twilight interrupts, “Yeah, sorry princess, I’m going to have to ask if you could turn the sun back on. We weren’t done with it.” Nightmare Moon growls, “You foal. You mess with powers beyond your comprehension.” She stomps down her hooves, breaking the Elements apart, “Now face me and die!” Twilight smirks, “I think you have our positions confused. You are prefectly within my comprehension. However, if you thought destroying those stones did anything, then it’s clear you don’t know who I am.” Nightmare laughs, “You think you could take us in a magical duel?” Twilight nods, “Yeah. Don’t particularly want to waste the time, but I could.” Twilight’s necklace opens, showing the green glow of the Infinity Stone. The Element’s reforge themselves back into their whole forms of stone, “So I will keep you busy until those work.” Nightmare lashes out with a beam of energy, headed straight towards Twilight, “I shall destroy you!” Twilight’s cloak easily moves her out of the way, “If you want to destroy me, you should work on hitting me first.” Nightmare flies into the sky, with a blade of moonlight grasped in her hooves. She swings towards Twilight, only to have her blade blocked by orange magic. Twilight smiles as Nightmare fires a beam at her over her hoof. Her other hoof quickly draws a circle above her horn, teleporting her magical beam to right underneath Nightmare. She is struck by her own magic, and flies into the ceiling. Twilight nods as she flops to the ground, “Still waiting for that destruction. Even if I know it will never come. You still don’t know who you’re fighting against. I am the Sorcerer Supreme.” At hearing this, Nightmare Moon taps into her inner Thestral, and lets out a high pitched and loud screech. It echoes in Twilight’s ears, and makes her faint for a bit, sending her to the ground. Upon hitting the ground, Twilight tries to recover. She scrambles to her hooves, only to fall down once again. Twilight looks at her hooves as they fail her once again, “Damned nerve damage.” Nightmare Moon laughs as she approaches, “Now who is Supreme, witch? You, who lay defeated on the ground, or me who is about to kill you.” Twilight laughs, “Oh, you are the worst type of villain.” She creates a portal under her, and falls through it, appearing behind Nightmare Moon. She smiles as Nightmare turns to face her, “You always give the hero time to escape.” Nightmare raises her blade and thrusts it forward at Twilight. Twilight simply makes another portal, and sends all but the hilt of the blade far away. Nightmare charges forward, creating a long beam sword of magic. She swings her head all around to chase Twilight as she floats all around the blade. Nightmare decides to use her Thestral once more, and let’s out the same screech. This time, Twilight’s cloak covers her ears. However, as Twilight is blocking out the screech, Nightmare shoots a powerful beam at her. Twilight is only able to realize by the time it’s right in front of her. In a last ditch effort, she makes a small orange circle in front of her to shield a lot of the blast. It works, but it still bursts through and strikes Twilight, sending her flying into another wall. Twilight lays there, spitting out blood, as Nightmare approaches, “Then I will not make the same mistake, Sorcerer.” She raises a new blade, and plunges it down. However, she was just a little too late in doing so. Right before the blade hits Twilight, she is sent flying by a blast of lightning. Rainbow flies in, helping Twilight from the ground, and into the air. Meanwhile, the others all rush in. Applejack lets her shield loose as Nightmare stands, hitting her on the horn. Nightmare is sent back to the ground, where a dagger pins down one of her hooves. She gets up and tries to pry the dagger out of her hoof, allowing more daggers to hit her other hooves. Following the daggers are webs that stick her to the ground. Rarity also makes sure to go up and kick Nightmare, just in case. Twilight gets up, and sees the Elements fly over to them, “I get how these work now. The stone itself doesn’t have any purpose. No, the Elements are only a symbol, it’s power is given, with or without the stones. And we represent these six.” She smiles, “Honesty would obviously go to Cap, or Applejack. Never would tell a lie without very, very good reason. Generosity would go to Banner, Rairty. He is generous enough to keep the Hulk under control at all times. Kindness would go to Parker, Fluttershy. He is unwavering in his kindness to all, even his enemy. Kind enough to never kill, no matter how much it is deserved. Loyalty would go to Thor, Rainbow Dash. He has always shown a care for Asgardians above all, and has never betrayed any he considers his friend. Laughter would go to Loki, Pinkie Pie. With his new outlook on life being all about humor and jokes, I think that should be obvious.” She nods, “And Magic would go to me. Doctor Strange, Twilight Sparkle. I am, after all, Sorcerer Supreme.” She looks at Nightmare, “Now, it’s time to free you.” The rainbow beam travels between all of them, until it hits Nightmare Moon. No matter how hard she tries to escape, the daggers and webs keep her in place. After a few seconds, in her place is Luna. And, walking from a window where the sun is rising, comes Princess Celestia. Twilight smiles, “Looks like the higher ups finally got it right.” > Planning > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Celestia turns to Twilight after giving her speech, “Well, Twilight, would you like the honor of introducing my sister into modern life?” Twilight shakes her head, “Sorry, Princess, but I am going to stay here. Considering the Elements all need to be together, I should be near to the other Elements.” Celestia smiles, “You think the Elements will need to be used again?” Twilight nods, “Oh yeah, definitely.” Celestia loses her smile at the answer, “How do you know?” Twilight looks back at the others, “Because Pinkie and Rainbow tell me they will.” Celestia regains her smile, “You already trust them that much?” Twilight looks back at Celestia, “Yes. They knew what to do against Luna, they can be correct again. Beside, they saved my life.” Celestia nods, but then stops as she processes what Twilight said, “Your... life? Your life was in danger?” Twilight smiles, “Oh yeah, Nightmare Moon was about to plunge her broken blade into me when Rainbow tackled her. Gotta say, she was actually a pretty fun challenge.” Celestia looks Twilight in her eyes, “You shouldn’t have the power to fight the Nightmare. It took nearly all my power to stop her, yet you say you easily defeated her? What happened, exactly, my faithful student?” Twilight thinks back, “Well, I flew into the air using my Cloak. Nightmare launched a beam at me that I easily dodged, then we had a hoof and sword fight in the air.” Celestia stops her, “You managed to stop her blade?” Twilight nods, “Oh yeah, it didn’t manage to even make a dent in my magic shield.” Celestia shakes her head, “No, you must be misremembering. Luna’s blade would easily cut through any shield. It’s the Manabreaker, it is fabled for cutting through and canceling magic! Even my shield was easily cut through by it!” Twilight looks down, “Mana?” She then looks up, and smiles, “Well, I must be misremembering then. It was quite the high adrenaline minute.” Celestia looks at Twilight with confusion, “Twilight, are you sure you are alright?” Twilight slowly nods, “Sorry if I’m acting Strange, it’s been a Strange night.” Celestia slowly backs up, “Okay. It must have really been odd if you are pronouncing a capital in ‘strange’. Get some sleep, my student. The library is your’s to stay in, and Ponyville is your new home. Please, write me a letter every week, just so I can know you are okay.” Twilight smiles, nods, and throws a mock salute towards Celestia, “I’ll do my best, Princess!” She turns away, and walks to her friends, “Although I will research this ‘Mana’ first.” ——— The desert sand blows against the black and red walls of the Red Hive. But, the chitin does not move, holding strong against the tearing sand. One changeling moves through the harsh sands, it’s skin tight suit barely blocking out the sand. They trudge on, each step an addition to their three day journey from Ponyville. Tremors underground speak of the terrors waiting for something to snack upon. The bones of the victims of the Ver resting under. But they do not hear the changeling. Much less do they care. The changeling is but one of many travelers above, and one of the smaller ones. The Ver dare not attack it, as well, for fear of the Red Hive’s retaliation. Such is why the changeling is offered safe passage by the beasts. The changeling clears it’s eyes, and is able to see the Hive in front of it. They move onward, trudging forth in order to finish it’s holy quest. The guards at the gates of the Hive move aside to allow the changeling passage. The changeling, now in familiar ground, walks with quicker urgency and purpose to the throne room. They arrive soon, and push open the door. They look up at their Queen. Upon seeing her, they bow. Queen Messorem looks down at the changeling, “You are back. Where is the other?” The changeling rises from it’s bow, “The crossbreed was captured, my Queen.” Messorem sighs, “What a shame. Perhaps she will return. What about the mission?” The changeling smiles, “The powers are just as you said. The Shield, the Sorcerer, the Hidden Beast, the Spider, the Trickster, and the Thunder.” Messorem nods, “Then the False King has messed with powers greater than him. The prophecy is true.” She looks to a guard, “Contact Hives Blue, Green, and Brown.” The changeling’s eyes light up, “The prophecy is true?” Messorem smiles, “It is, indeed. The chance has come after millennia.” The changeling jumps around, “Our Lord is coming back!” Messorem nods, “Order is coming back, my child. And we shall clear the way for Order to take over.” Messorem looks at the words etched into the wall, “Ordirus will rise, and no Chem will be able to protect this world.” > Crossbreed > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The six all gather in the basement of the library, Spike sent out to deal with other matters. A chair is set up in the middle of the room, with restraints ready to go. Twilight looks over at Rainbow, “Alright, be ready to knock them into the chair. Pinkie, you got the restraints.” They both nod as Twilight opens portal. The imprisoned mare falls out of it, and staggers on the ground. Rainbow pushes them into the chair, where Pinkie rushes around and restrains her. Twilight smiles at the restrained mare, “Very good. Now, please, tell us your name.” The mare looks around, and her eyes widen, “No... no, this can’t be happening. The prophecy cannot be true!” Twilight loses her smiles, “Prophecy?” The mare looks towards the sky, “The end of all life approaches. And naught but the pure shall survive, not even a crossbreed. And you will all lose to him.” Twilight stamps her hoof, drawing the crossbreed’s attention, “Who is he?” The crossbreed looks to her eyes, “Ordirus, Element of Order, brother of Discord. Risen from Order, fallen to Chem. But Chem isn’t in this universe, no, there are only the Avengers. They couldn’t even win against Thanos.” Twilight looks right on back, “How do you know that?” The crossbreed leans back, “Crossbreed, Thestral and Changeling. Feed off dreams, saw into your minds. Saw Loki choked by Thanos, saw Thanos snap in front of Thor, witnessed America falling, Hulk beaten, dust in Stark’s arms, Time stolen.” The crossbreed shakes her head, eyes glowing blue, “Ordirus beyond Thanos in every way. Avengers less than Chem in every way. Ordirus comes to destroy the universe and steal it’s power.” Twilight steps back, “I don’t believe you.” Pinkie speaks, “Oh, she is right, though. As we are now, the Avengers are weak. None of you are listening, though. Except Thor and Rainbow Dash. Me and Pinkie Pie as well. But look at the rest of you. A Captain who can’t do anything but throw a shield. A Spider who can’t listen to his fellows. A Hulk left to rampage without elegant control. A Doctor who can’t walk.” Twilight shakes her head, “That is out of my control. My hooves carry the nerve damage of my hands.” Pinkie laughs, “Oh, you would think that, wouldn’t you? But, no, you are wrong. It is within your control, but you just aren’t controlling it. When I woke up, I didn’t think I was able to pull things out of nowhere.” Pinkie then reaches behind her back, and pulls out a cannon, “But would you look at that? Now I can.” The crossbreed nods, “Loki speaks truth. The only way to beat Ordirus is to fully accept your body. Even Loki has failed at this, though.” Pinkie turns to face her, “How have I not accepted the body?” The crossbreed’s eyes stop glowing, “That is not for me to know anymore.” She shakes her head, “I am Friten. Let me loose, I can help you.” Twilight looks over at her, “And what do we need help against?” Friten looks at her, “You are fighting against the Hives. The Changelings, chosen of Ordirus, come to defeat you six and use your souls to summon him. You do not know how to fight Changelings. I am half of one, I know them better than anyone.” Twilight nods, “Then, tell me, what are they doing now?” Friten stops, and her eyes glow blue again, “They come, agents of the Blue, Brown, and Red. Green does not join as they have their own plans. They see six creatures. A dragon, a unicorn, a earth pony, a rabbit, a pegasus, and an alligator.” Pinkie suddenly gasps, her glowing eyes picking up in brightness, “Gummy! They wouldn’t dare!” Friten continues on, “They all are valuable to the Elements. They know that stealing them and killing them will anger the Elements and cause them to act irrationally. They do not plan for the Elements to know until it is too late.” Twilight looks to the door, “How current is this information?” Friten closes her eyes, “An hour ago. Now, the creatures have been stolen, and they flee to the Brown Hive located in the Swamps. Names are known now. Spike, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, Angel, Gummy. A good sacrifice to start it off.” Twilight nods, and unlocks Friten’s restraints, “Come on, then. We don’t have much time.” Friten stands up as her glowing eyes fade back to their midnight blue coloration, “Thank you. The train to the swamps comes in ten minutes.” Pinkie bounces into the door, and knocks it open, “We don’t have time for a train. Fluttershy, feel like stealing another car?” Fluttershy drops from the ceiling, “There are cars?” Pinkie nods, “I know of two who would love for us to have their car.” Pinkie bounces out of the door, and the others all follow. Twilight floats, Fluttershy shoots her webs, Rainbow flies, Applejack runs, and Friten flies on her bat wings. Rarity sighs, cracks her neck, and runs after them, “This is why she shouldn’t have walked alone, Hulk!” > Always Angry > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The seven park the car they took from Flim and Flam. The two brothers ride on the back, and gladly take the car back once they arrive to their destination. Flim smiles, “Goodbye, Elements! We are glad to help you anytime. Next time you need to run over some trees, make sure to contact us!” Twilight simply nods, and the brothers ride off. With that done, Twilight looks toward the huge hive, “So, Brown Hive?” Friten nods, “They feed off the feeling of satisfaction and contentment. They are the least useful of the Hives in their greater plans, but they can still be a powerful army. They’ve always had rebels against the rule of Ordirus, but they comes with having their huge population.” Twilight smiles, “So, not that much of a threat. Where might they be hiding our people?” Friten’s eyes glow blue once more, “Apart. One hidden on every floor. At the top is the unicorn, Sweetie. She is first to be sacrificed in... ten minutes. They will sacrifice her quicker once we enter. She is a priority target for rescue.” Rarity steps up, and smiles, “Twilight, get me in there. I can rescue her and distract them as you guys rescue everyone else.” Twilight looks at Rairty, “You sure Hulk will fight this time?” Rarity nods, “He got us in this mess, he can get us out of it.” Friten’s eyes fade, “If you are going to do something, do it quick. They’re accelerating the schedule!” Twilight creates a portal, “Alright, let’s go!” Rarity nods, and through the portal, and into the Hive. As he does, Friten’s eyes suddenly start to glow brown, “Oh no. King Laevus is inside! We need to move quicker, he is too powerful to take on!” Rarity never hears this information though, as she stands within the sacrifical chamber. Sweetie Belle is strapped to a table, and seems to be gagged. Changelings stand all around, and one carries a knife. He unsheathes it as he approaches Sweetie Belle, but is stopped by Rairty, “Excuse me?” It looks in her direction, as does Sweetie Belle, “Excuse me!?” Rarity smiles, “Yeah, hello and all that. Look, it would be real nice if you were to not stab my sister.” The changeling approaches closer to Sweetie Belle, “You dare to interrupt us?” Rarity nods, “Yeah, I do. I made a promise, and I will keep it. So, put down the knife, and you will have a much nicer day.” The changeling takes a step closer to Sweetie, and sneers, “Does this make you angry, pony?” Rarity shakes her head, “No, you would know if I was angry. Me being mad is something you want to avoid, for the health of everyone in this room. So, put down that knife before I become really angry.” The changeling takes a step closer, “What will you do?” Rairty smiles, and cracks her neck, “Punch the bad pony.” The changeling takes another step, “I don’t see you doing anything.” Rairty nods, “Well, I gave you enough chances.” The veins in her neck and body begin to turn green, “Hulk, they’re all yours.” Sweetie Belle looks with worry as her sister’s body starts to turn green. The worry only grows as her front hooves change into fists and her back hooves into legs and feet. She definitely starts to freak out as she starts to growl and shout as she grows larger. Hulk bangs his fists on the chitin ground, and yells, “Hulk crush puny bug ponies!” The leader tries to rush towards Sweetie Belle, only to be swatted away by a green fist. They impact against the wall, accidentally stabbing themself with their own dagger. Another changeling tries to run away, only to have his back hoof be grabbed by Hulk. Hulk uses the changeling as a bat to hit another, using such force that he accidentally rips off the changeling’s leg. He uses this leg to knock down another changeling, and then throw it at one who tried to run away. Hulk looks over at Sweetie Belle, only to see her looking at him with wide eyes, “Little pony close eyes. Hulk smash bug, pony no smash.” Sweetie Belle complies with him, and closes her eyes. Hulk walks over, and removes the gag with care, “Little pony can speak now. Bug not all gone. Continue to smash.” Sweetie Belle slowly speaks as Hulk turns away, “R-Rarity?” Hulk looks back, “Hulk. Hulk part of Rairty. Part of Banner. Explain later, bug smashing now.” A squad of changelings come up the staircase, and they all stop and try and turn back as they see Hulk. But Hulk does not allow them to escape. He jumps onto the staircase behind them. He grabs two of them, and bashes their heads together, accidentally squishing them. Hulk does not notice, as he has moved onto grabbing a changeling to use as a bat against his fellows. Changelings are sent flying from the stairwell, and into the main room. Hulk throws his current changeling bat into the wall, breaking all of it’s bones. He calmly walks up to one changeling that tries to crawl away with two of it’s legs broken. He picks up the changeling, and tosses it through the wall, sending it on a long journey down. Hulk turns around to see the rest of the changelings piled together. He raises both fists, and brings it down on them, “Smash!” He breaks through the floor, showering all those below with bits of changeling. King Laevus does not appreciate this. He creates a new hole in the floor with a magical beam that impacts Hulk, and sends him flying. Hulk flies against a wall, the loud noise shocking open Sweetie Belle’s eyes. She opens them just in time to see Laevus fly through the floor, and change his form. Standing there now is a purple, tall, bipedal form with a gauntlet on one fist, and golden armor all around him. Hulk sees Thanos, and begins to back into the corner of the room. He puts up his hands, trying to block view of Thanos. Laevus approaches towards Sweetie Belle, and she screams as he pulls out a dagger. Hulk hears her screams, and his eyes fill with a new rage. He yells a battle cry at Thanos, and charges forth with a single strike. Thanos steps to the side, easily dodging it, and allowing Hulk to punch through the entire wall. Hulk doesn’t let this slow him down, as he goes for another punch. Thanos easily ducks under it, and stabs Hulk in the chest with his dagger. He then smiles as he punches Hulk back into the corner next to Sweetie Belle. Hulk recovers easily enough, but he gives enough time for Thanos to activate his magic. He gathers the shattered fragments of wall, and sends all of them towards the two in a deadly wall of spikes. Sweetie Belle starts her screaming again, activating something within Hulk. Something other than rage. The Mind Stone detects the anger, the rage, and the fear within Hulk and Banner. With it’s power, it connects to the two. Now, there exists a new mind connected to that body. His eyes glow blue, and magic starts to surge through him. This magic comes with knowledge, and a high pitched voice that is nagging him to not let Sweetie die. Hulk doesn’t plan to let Sweetie die. He activates his magic with his new knowledge, and stops all of the shards in midair. He throws them all back at Thanos, and they impact harshly. Hulk jumps forward, and tackles the now undisguised Laevus to the ground. He pummels him with punch after punch, making a deeper and depper indentation in the floor. He then grabs the head of the King of the Brown Hive, and raises his other fist. Using all of his rage, he brings it down. The body of the King falls through the levels of the Hive, but the head remains in Hulk’s fingers. Magical power begins to fill Laevus, and starts to overload him in an attempt to heal. His eyes light up white, and he starts to scream. He is about to explode with the magical power when Hulk decides to squish his head like a grape. Hulk turns around to face Sweetie Belle, where he smiles as sweetly as he can. He walks up to her, and holds out his oversized hand, “Sister come. Changeling gone. Bug smashed. Friends outside.” Sweetie Belle hesitantly steps into Hulk’s hand, trying to step around the changeling King’s blood. Hulk nods, and punches out a hole in the wall. He steps up to the new window, and jumps to the near hill where the others wait. He lands after a few seconds, shocking all there but the Avengers. He holds out his hand, and Sweetie Belle steps onto the ground next to Applebloom and Scootaloo. Rainbow looks towards the Hive, “Wasn’t the King attacking you?” Friten looks towards Hulk, “He is beyond you. Where is he?” Hulk smiles at Rainbow, “Hulk strongest Avenger.” > Consequences > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- All are at home, as they should be. However, the powers shown off by the Elements has caused their loved ones to be curious. Applejack sits at a table for a family dinner with her family. Apple Bloom glances over at her during a long moment of silence. Applejack meets her sister’s eyes, and the innocent curiosity within them digs into Applejack’s soul. Many people know many things about Captain America. One thing people would never call him is a liar, or one to hold secrets. Applejack looks at the rest of the family, as they eat. The sense of unease is in the air, and it’s obviously quieter than it should be. Granny Smith notices Applejack’s internal battle, “Jackie, is something the matter?” Applejack looks in her eyes, and sees the concern any grandparent would give. A few miles away, the Time Stone starts to glow brightly. Applejack’s eyes start to glow green as her mind connects with the original mind. Instantly, she knows all of the people at the table, and cares about them a lot more. Now, a voice tells her to tell the truth, no matter the consequences. She breaks, “There’s something I need to tell you. All of you.” Granny Smith nods, “I knew there was something.” Apple Bloom smiles, “Is this about what happened with the bug ponies? And Rarity?” Applejack nods, “Yes, it does have to do with that.” She looks at the rest of the family as they all put down their utensils. She shakes her head, “To tell the truth, I am not Applejack.” They all react differently. Big Mac gets ready to get out of his chair, Granny Smith nods, and Apple Bloom shakes her head, “What do you mean? Of course you are you, just look at yourself.” Granny Smith looks over at Apple Bloom, and signals Big Mac to stand down, “She’s telling the truth. Have you not noticed how different she’s been acting and speaking? Please, continue.” Applejack nods, “My name is Steve Rogers, also known as Captain America. I am one of the members of the protectors of Earth known as the Avengers. A group of extraordinary individuals put into a team. Me and five others were accidentally put into the bodies of six ponies. Twilight Sparkle’s body was taken by Doctor Steven Strange, the Sorcerer Supreme. Fluttershy’s body is Peter Parker, Spider Man. Rarity’s is Bruce Banner, and his second personality known as Hulk. Rainbow Dash is Thor, God of Thunder. And Pinkie Pie is Loki, God of Trickery.” Granny Smith nods as she speaks, “Where is Applejack, Rogers?” Applejack smiles, “She is perfectly fine, I can assure you that much. Her mind has been trapped in the Time Stone, but she has just started to be able to communicate to me. I now have all of her memories as well.” Granny Smith smiles, “And how did this happen?” Applejack loses her smile, “We were fighting one by the name of Thanos, who wanted to collect six powerful artifacts known as Infinity Stones and destroy half the universe in a single snap. At the same time on this world, Discord the Spirit of Chaos was released and dodged the Element’s blast. He planned to send the Element’s back in time, and put them into our bodies on Earth. Both snapped at the same time, and their wishes combined into one. Time was turned back, and we were placed into the bodies of the Elements as they were thrown into the Stones themselves.” Granny Smith listens closely, “So, Applejack is in the future?” Applejack shrugs, “Kinda. She was in the future, but the snaps turned back time. Applejack is in the present, but she has memories of the future. With the exception of new events that are occurring.” ——— Rarity takes a sip of coffee after explaining everything to Sweetie Belle, “So, future Rarity was thrown to the past, and is currently talking to you. And the whole event with the changelings did not happen for her?” Rarity nods, and Sweetie continues, “So, she lost against Discord, and now someone new is coming along that is apparently Discord’s brother and is more powerful than the one who beat a team of superheroes working together? Rairty takes another sip, and nods, “From what Friten has told us, yes.” Sweetie Belle takes a sip of her own coffee, “Well, I have a solution. More than one solutions that can all work together.” Rarity puts down her cup, “Yes?” Sweetie smiles, “Well, your powers combined with Rarity’s grace make you at least two times better than before. If the others all manage to learn from their other minds, then they will also be greater. A team of six of you can, all together, be worth one Thanos.” Rarity slowly nods, “Okay, that is true. But he is beyond Thanos, apparently.” Sweetie Belle nods, “Yes, that is where other solutions come in. Perhaps you could combine the powers of those Stones and the Elements together into a stronger weapon to take out Ordirus!” Rarity smiles, “You know, I like your thinking. The only problem is to keep him occupied long enough to use them.” Sweetie Belle knocks her hoof on the table, “Third solution, that’s where it comes in. The math is simple for this one. More heroes means more to fight against him!” Rairty loses her smile, “What are you saying?” Sweetie Belle looks at her with wide eyes, “You need a second Hulk. One Hulk can take out a single changeling King after reaching a new level of rage, yes, but that is not enough. A second Hulk is the power of two changeling Kings.” Sweetie Belle smiles, “The math proves itself. Two rooks are better than one. Two Hulks are better than one.” She takes a sip of her coffee, and looks Rairty in the eyes, “I want to become the second Hulk.” Rarity immediately shakes her head, “No! You do not know what the Hulk does to you!” Her veins start to glow green, and she quickly calms down, “You become a monster. People fear you, you fear you. Because at any moment, a monster can come out and crush everything.” Sweetie Belle waits in the second of silence, and shakes her head, “You are wrong. Look at yourself, Rarity, you are not a monster! Hulk is not a monster.” Rarity flinches at that last line, “He crushed a head in between his fingers.” Sweetie Belle continues on, “To protect somepony he loved. To protect me from death! Anypony else would do the exact same in Hulk’s situation! Think of it from his perspective, think of what he really is. I saw him up there, Banner. He was gentle around me. He took off a gag with his giant fists, and didn’t cause a single ounce of pain. He only attacked the King and changelings because they tried to harm me. He protected me, as any royal guard would.” Sweetie Belle smiles, “If Hulk is a monster, then I want to have a monster in me as well.” Rarity looks into her eyes, “You do not know.” Sweetie Belle looks right back, “Then allow me to know. You can either stand beside me as we fight Ordirus in Hulk forms, or watch helplessly as he kills me. If he wants to destroy the universe, then he must be stopped. I am part of the universe as well, remember? So I can either stand up with the power to possibly stop him, or die curled up next to you as we doom the universe.” Rarity pauses, and looks down. Sweetie Belle smiles, “I accept the burden, Banner, Rairty. I know you want to protect me, but I have to protect myself as well. Call it foalish, but I want to be one of the heroes.” Rarity thinks for a minute, then looking up, “We need a lot of gamma radiation.” ——— Spike looks at Twilight, “So, do you have any sort of side-kick?” She shakes her head, “No, this isn’t a comic book. The only one I fight beside is my friend, Wong.” Spike smiles, “Well, maybe I could be your side-kick?” Twilight looks over at him, “Yeah, no.” Spike pouts, “Come on, think about it. Doctor Strange and Mister Spike, dynamic duo!” Twilight laughs, “Oh, that sounds like a fanfiction from somebody that doesn’t know anything about me.” Spike smiles, “You need more people to beat Ordirus.” Twilight looks over at him, “And why should I choose you?” Spike nods, “I can breathe fire. And I have hands.” Twilight narrows her eyes, “Hmm... it all depends on if you can do magic or not.” Spike smiles, “Is that a yes?” Twilight looks away, “That was a maybe disguised to sound like a yes. If you want to learn, then come on, let’s teach.” ——— Fluttershy listens to Angel chittering, “You know, that is not that bad of an idea. But radioactive spiders don’t just appear everywhere.” She listens once more, “In the Everfree? Well, I can’t deny you are correct. Okay, yes, we can see if they have any radioactive spiders.” ——— Rainbow and Scootaloo hang in her house. Rainbow looks at Scootaloo, “You want to learn how to become a God of Thunder? I was fine with letting you stay at my house and adopting you, but I actually can’t teach you that. In order to do so, you must pick up my weapon, and only those who are worthy can.” Scootaloo hops up, and walks over to Stormbreaker, “Just pick this axe up?” Rainbow nods, “Yes. But don’t be mad when you can’t, even Captain America-“ Scootaloo picks up the axe, and smiles, “Hey, it’s not even that heavy.” Rainbow looks at her in awe, her jaw dropped. She quickly recovers, “Welcome to being God of Thunder.” ——— Pinkie Pie sits across from Gummy, “So, Gummy, you want to be the apprentice to the God of Trickery? Well, tell me, what do you bring to the table that makes you worthy?” Gummy stands there, looking Pinkie right in the eye. His tongue slips out, and he licks his eye. Pinkie smiles, “You’re accepted.” > Itsey-Bitsey Pony > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fluttershy walls through the Everfree, the wildlife making way, a favor from the Forest’s Spirit. She walks with purpose, towards a cave deep in the forest. As she walks onward, the nearby trees start to have webs connecting all of them. The ground starts to turn sticky with webs, but her bare hooves manage to walk over them without issue. Spiders of all different sizes crawl through the trees around them. They hiss and scamper, but they do not stop the pony. Until, two spiders in front of the cave-mouth see her approach. One of them hiss at her, “Why pony-blood here?” Fluttershy smiles, and says as confidently as she can, “I am here to see the Spider King.” The spider almost laughs at the confidence in the pony’s squeaky voice, “King not want pony-blood.” Fluttershy steps forward, “Venom-Fang does want me, actually.” The spider nods, “Know King name. Pony-blood odd, but allowed. Follow.” Fluttershy gladly follows after the spider, following them into a big room. In the center of the room is a giant spider, easily three times bigger than even Big Mac. It looks at Fluttershy with all eight eyes, “Not pony-blood? Gift, you are kin-blood!” Fluttershy presses down on a little button, allowing her suit to cover her and Angel, “I am Peter Parker, Spider-Man.” The spiders in the room all hiss simultaneously, and the King hisses above them, “Hear of man-blood Peter-Parker! King Glowing-Fang gave Gift to you!” The spiders all around Fluttershy bow to her, and the King twitches two of his legs, “Welcome, King Spider-Man of Earth-Realm. King Venom-Fang of Equis-Realm. How help kin-blood?” Fluttershy smiles, and holds Angel out in her hoof, “I need the Gift to be given to this bunny. He shall train under me so that we can defeat an enemy.” The King twitches four of his legs, “Gift-giving only to worthy. Bunny worthy? He prove it.” Fluttershy returns him to her back, “How can we prove it?” The King shudders, “Pony-bloods dig into Stone-Nest. Stop pony-bloods, and Gift-giving in return.” Fluttershy nods, “I will stop them, although I will not harm them unless I need to. Can I get a guide to Stone-Nest?” A spider crawls out of the crowd, it’s only defining trait being it’s lack of an eye, “Follow Seven-Eye, lead to Stone-Nest.” The spider clicks at Fluttershy, and crawls into a side tunnel. Fluttershy follows after it, tucking Angel into a pocket. ——— Rainbow brings her axe down upon the stone one more time, and wipes her brow of sweat. She looks over at Rarity as she and Sweetie Belle use their own pickaxes, “Why am I out here again?” Rarity continues swinging her pickaxe, “We need to find that stone that is giving off gamma radiation. If Sweetie Belle were to swallow that, then she should get enough gamma radiation.” Rainbow stands back, “Yeah, but why am I out here?” Pinkie comes up from the surface, her hair turning from a drill into it’s normal mess, “It’s family bonding! And not the type that begins with BD and ends with SM.” She jumps out of the hole she created, and shakes the dust off her hair, “Besides, what else are we going to do?” Rainbow sighs, “I have an over enthusiastic kid that I have to train, that’s what.” Pinkie shrugs, “This could serve as a first lesson.” Rainbow looks at Pinkie, “How?” At this moment, Gummy comes up from the ground, wearing a wig shaped into a drill. He opens his mouth, and a Gummy shaped statue falls out. Life sized as well. Pinkie smiles, and throws Gummy a piece of chocolate dipped in peanut butter, “That’s how. Oh, come on, don’t tell me you didn’t immediately think about shirking off duty to someone else? I know you better than that.” Rainbow looks at Gummy, and then at Pinkie, “I’ll be right back.” With that said, Rainbow flies into the distance. Pinkie laughs, and summons two daggers in her hooves. Rarity looks over at her, “What are you going to do with those daggers?” Pinkie smiles, “Dig.” She starts to stab the stone over and over again, doing it hard and fast enough to mine with the same efficiency as the pickaxes. Gummy opens his own mouth, revealing his gums now have daggers sticking out of the end of them. He then jumps on top of the stone, and takes bites out of it. They are all interrupted as a spider crawls out of a nearby crevice. A giant spider, to be exact. Sweetie Belle spots it, and immediately tries to get away from it, “Spider! Keep it away!” Pinkie smiles, and changes her form into one mimicking the spider. She walks up on all new eight legs, and starts making hissing noises as a cat would do. As soon as the spider starts hissing back, she starts to bark at it. Fluttershy comes out of the same crevice. She sees the two spiders glaring each other down, and sees Rairty there, “Oh, hey Rairty and Pinkie. Oh, and hi to you too, Sweetie Belle.” Pinkie looks at Fluttershy, only to see she isn’t fooled by the illusion. She sighs, and turns back. Fluttershy smiles, “This is my pal, Seven-Eye. We were told some ponies were disturbing the Nest around here.” Rairty nods, “Yeah, that’d probably be us. We were digging after something.” Seven-Eye turns towards Fluttershy, and hisses in Spider-Tounge, “It’s time to kill them.” Fluttershy starts shaking her head, “No, Seven-Eye!” Rarity looks between the two, “Uh, what did he say?” Seven-Eye charges after Rarity, and pounces on top of her, “Pony-blood pay for death of Tiny-Eye!” Rarity chuckles nervously, “Is this how they greet each other?” Fluttershy has to act quickly before the spider bites on Rarity’s neck. From the Reality Stone outreaches a timid voice. It reaches into Peter’s mind, and they connect. Instantly, Fluttershy knows of the weak points on the spider. She jumps after it, shooting a web into it’s mouth to stop it from opening. The spider claws at the web, but Fluttershy continues to wrap it up in web. Eventually, the spider can’t move whatsoever. Fluttershy looks down at the spider, “I get the test now. There was no Nest out here. No, he simply sent you to where ponies were so that you would attack. Venom-Fang wanted to see if I would use my power to spare or to kill.” She picks up the spider, and walks back to the crevice. She looks back at the others, and smiles, “Continue on, I have an attempted murder to report.” Fluttershy leaves just as Rainbow lands. She places down Scootaloo, and looks over at Rairty, “What happened here?” Pinkie smiles as she turns back into a giant spider, and hisses at Rainbow. Rainbow jumps back, and freaks out upon sight of the giant spider. She reaches for her axe, only to realize Scootaloo still has it. She jumps back, “Scootaloo, kill it!” Scootaloo charges at the spider, almost tripping on Stormbreaker as she does. However, as soon as she reaches the middle of her charge, Gummy jumps out of the ground with a dagger in it’s mouth. It blocks the axe, and the two skid away from each other. Scootaloo tumbles over, but ends up landing in a better position. The axe firmly within her grasp. Gummy does not change his posture at all. His movement is like moving an object in photoshop. His tongue wraps around the dagger, and it holds it further from his face. His mouth is a smile, with new teeth made of daggers. Scootaloo charges. Gummy stands. > Loom > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The sun rises, and two ponies stand in the middle of an abandoned quarry. Rarity holds up a glowing, green stone in her magic. She looks towards Sweetie Belle, “Are you really sure you want to do this?” Sweetie Belle nods, “Yes, I am. Why are we out here, again?” Rarity sighs, “There is a high chance that your Hulk will try and rampage, so we need to be far from town. We should be farther, as we could jump to it with a single leap, but it should probably be fine.” Sweetie Belle smiles, “We should be fine, if you say so. Well, no time like the present.” Rarity slowly floats the stone over to Sweetie, “This will probably hurt, just to warn you.” Sweetie grabs the stone, and throws it into her mouth. She starts to try and swallow, with some difficulty. She finally gets it down, which is when a voice hisses out, “Pony-blood, stop!” Rarity turns to her side, to see a spider at least six feet wide there, “What?” Venom-Fang hisses, “You unleash Spider-Slayer! Bring monster from Glowing-Death!” Sweetie Belle starts to cough roughly, and parts of her seem to swell in size. Venom-Fang notices her, “No! Fool pony-bloods! Spider-Slayer extinct for millennia!” Venom-Fang clacks his teeth together, “Must kill before complete!” Upon hearing that, the Hulk decides to unleash himself. Venom-Fang stares in disbelief as Hulk towers above him, “You no harm Sweetie!” Venom-Fang hisses And backs up a few paces, “Second! Two Spider-Slayer! Impossible, not make sense!” Hulk punches his two fists together, “No Spider Slayer. Only Hulk and Sweetie.” Venom-Fang whispers to himself, “Hulk, Spider-Slayer from Earth-Realm. Said in control of Banner-blood. Not matter, have to stop new Spider-Slayer!” Venom-Fang rushes towards Sweetie Belle as her hooves start to change form into fists and feet. He is stopped by a punch from Hulk, “Spider not harm her!” Venom-Fang slides away, and turns back to face Hulk, “Hulk-blood different, not understand! Is Spider-Slayer, but not mad! Spider-Slayer in pony-blood will kill spider-clans!” Hulk smiles, “We stop her. But you no harm her!” Venom-Fang pounces on top of Hulk, forcing him onto his back. Venom-Fang shows off his namesakes, “I King Venom-Fang, killer of Spider-Slayer! Fang venom kill in one bite!” Venom-Fang moves to bite down, but he never gets the chance. He is knocked off of Hulk by a furry fist. Sweetie Belle’s Hulk stands there, looking different. Instead of the green skin, she has green fur. She is the same in a lot of other ways. Same size, same general look, and same strength. From locks of purple and pink hair is a pure white horn, standing out starkly on the green fur. Lighter green eyes glare from behind narrowed eyes, “You no harm Hulk!” Venom-Fang flips over in midair, landing on his legs. His abdomen has a new dent in it, but he simply hisses out at the two, “Spider-Slayer!” She looks over herself, and flexes a muscle. She smiles, and looks back at Venom-Fang, “No Spider Slayer! I am Loom!” Loom charges towards Venom-Fang before he has a chance to recover. She picks him up by one leg, and starts to spin around. After some spinning, his leg breaks off, and he is thrown far into the distance. Loom jumps after him, wanting to make sure he would never harm her or Hulk. Hulk gets up from the ground, and look in the direction where the two jumped. His eyes widen as he realizes it’s towards the town. He tries to jump, only to find his ankle to be trapped by a web left behind by Venom-Fang. Venom-Fang comes crashing down in the middle of town, his empty leg socket dripping blood onto the stone road. He scrambles up with his seven other legs, looking all around him at the scared ponies. He doesn’t look up in time. Loom comes crashing down on his back, pushing him into the ground with two thousands pounds worth of weight. The fact that Venom-Fang was not crushed by that one attack is testament to his strength. The ponies around all start to scream in terror and run away from the fight. Their screams attract the other three in the town. Loom picks up Venom-Fang, and throws him back into the ground. Venom-Fang weakly hisses, “The King shall-“ Loom throws him back into the ground again, “Loom not care. Spider attack Hulk, say kill Loom. Loom kill spider.” Venom-Fang hisses as he is picked up again, “Spider-Slayer not dare!” Loom wraps her hand around his neck, and is ready to pull. “Sweetie, no!” Hulk lands, and Loom looks up at him, “Hulk not stop Loom!” Hulk tries to stop her, “Sweetie not kill spider!” Loom rips the head off of Venom-Fang. She yells, “Sweetie not here, only Loom!” She throws down the spider’s body, not even caring about the blood now staining her hands, “Hulk look around! Ponies weak, we strong! We smash ponies, rule ponies!” Hulk shakes his head, “No! Hulk strongest Avenger, Loom strongest pony, is correct. But we strongest not because of strength. We strongest because we protect weakest! Smash those weaker and become weaker! Hulk strongest in strength and morals! Only smash if they smash you first.” Loom looks down at Venom-Fang’s body, “Spider tried to kill Hulk!” Hulk nods, “Smashing spider okay, he tried smashing first. But ponies not try to smash! We need save strength for later fights! We need seen strongest in ponies eyes!” Loom looks at Hulk, and slowly starts to shrink, “Hulk right. Must preserve strength.” Loom changes back, leaving Sweetie Belle standing in front of Venom-Fang’s body. She tiredly looks at Hulk, “Banner? Where am I?” She passes out in the middle of the road, surrounded by the blood of Venom-Fang. Hulk changes back into Rarity, and she quickly floats Sweetie Belle over to her, “Don’t worry, you’re fine.” Three ponies all turn up to the sight of Rarity hugging the passed out Sweetie Belle. Pinkie’s hair starts to deflate as soon as she sees it, “Oh no.” Fluttershy swings in, and look at the body of Venom-Fang. She rushes to it, and sees his head torn off, “Venom-Fang... why?” Twilight floats in, and looks at the shocked faces of ponies gathering around. She looks at Rarity, looking her in the eye, “What did you do.” > Judgement > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Scootaloo calls a bolt of lightning down upon Stormbreaker, and throws it at a nearby tree. It hits true, and explodes with electrical power. Scootaloo focuses, and Stormbreaker slowly comes flying back into her hoof. She smiles, turns, and tosses the axe to the side. She charges at a tree, lightning charging her hooves as she starts to beat the tree into splinters. Every punch leaves a imprint of black, and releases a loud thunderous boom. She jumps up in the air, kicking the tree over with a single spin, and bringing the axe back into her hooves. She spins it rapidly, and flies high into the air. She hops onto a nearby cloud, kicking it and aiming the lightning at another tree. She then jumps off of it, and flies towards the ground at very fast speeds. She lands with a splash of lightning, leaving a crater and scorching the nearby trees. She then climbs out of the crater, and looks towards Rainbow. Rainbow smiles, “Rapid progress, I must admit. You seem like a natural at wielding Stormbreaker.” She then raises her hoof, and Stormbreaker meets it at a rapid pace, “But you must foster a deeper bond with the axe. You can deal with an enemy up close, but the axe should also be used to target far opponents.” She throws the axe back to Scootaloo, who catches it. She smiles, “Is Rainbow proud?” Rainbow’s eyes glow, and the true Rainbow speaks, “Come on, squirt, you know I’m proud! No other filly would be able to kick so much tail as you!” The glow stops, Thor taking back control, “She is right. I highly doubt any other of these ponies could prove worthy to even wield Stormbreaker, much less harness it’s power.” Scootaloo jumps giddily, “Alright! Come on, let’s go again!” Rainbow smiles, “Here, allow me to teach you another aspect of Stormbreaker.” The axe flies into her grasp, “How to summon-“ She is interrupted by thestrals coming out of nowhere. A group of at least ten of them come from the sky, and surround the two with their spears. Their dark armor makes it clear that they are not any normal guard, “Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo Roll, you will come with us peacefully or forcefully by order of Princess Luna. If you resist then we are authorized to use any and all weapons to get you to come.” Rainbow looks at the spears around her, “And might I ask on what charges are we being brought in for?” The thestral captain doesn’t so much as shift, “On charges that you assisted in the killing of King Venom-Fang alongside Rairty Belle and Sweetie Belle.” Rainbow smirks, “Let me tell you right now, that is not true.” The thestral moves their spear closer, “Tell it to Princess Luna.” ——— Applejack sits across from Apple Bloom, teaching her to hold the shield, “With the electromagnets you should be able to call it to your arm at any time. However, you have to learn to put it on as it flies towards you. This way, you can throw it and not have to bounce it back to yourself.” A knock comes on the door, and Big Mac gets up to answer it. He opens the door to see three thestral guards standing there, their dark armor absorbing the early morning sun. The leader of the three nods, “Are Applejack And Apple Bloom home?” Big Mac slowly nods, “Uh... eyupp?” He looks at the guards, and summons up the courage to speak more, “Why?” The thestral gives him a piece of paper, “We are ordered to arrest them on orders of Princess Luna. They are possible suspects in assisting the killing of King Venom-Fang by Rarity Belle and Sweetie Belle.” Big Mac looks back at the two inside, and back at the officers, “Nope.” He tries to slam the door in their face, but the guard stops it with the hilt of his spear, “We suggest that you comply, Mister Macintosh, or we will arrest you for impeding officers.” Big Mac glares at the officers, “They would never do such a thing. I ain’t about to turn over my family for a crime in which they had nothing to do with!” The officer smiles, “If they had nothing to do with it, then they will be sent back. The Princess only wants to question them all together as to determine who should be punished, if a punishment is handed out.” Applejack puts a hoof on Big Mac’s shoulder, and smiles, “Don’t worry, I’m sure it’s all just a misunderstanding.” The officer nods, “Would you please follow us then, Miss Applejack?” Applejack looks at the officers, “Hail Hydra.” The officer tilts her head upon hearing that, “Excuse me?” Applejack smiles, “Nothing. Come on, Apple Bloom!” They walk out to the officers. The leader turns back to Big Mac, “Have a good day, Mister Macintosh.” ——— Luna looks around the room at those gathered. She sighs, “What a mess thou hast caused. One of thine worlds eldest beings slain by a mere foal.” She looks at them, “Thou art the Elements of Harmony, to be persecuted for this slaying is serious.” Rarity speaks up, “The slaying that was done was perfectly within the law. Venom-Fang attacked Sweetie Belle!” Fluttershy speaks up from the corner, “But why? Venom-Fang seemed so kind and caring. Why would he attack her?” Luna nods, “Maiden Fluttershy doth speak true. Venom-Fang hath been sang as caring and protective. His power was also awesome.” Rarity shrugs, “He talked about some sort of Spider-Slayer and at how Sweetie Belle was turning into one by consuming the Glowing-Death.” Luna looks at Rarity in shock, “Spider-Slayer? They were a blight upon Equestia thought slain by Venom-Fang! A beast within pony form such wreaked havok where it went. Doth name hast been forgotten for millennia. Why would a fully even become one?” Twilight looks at the others, “Luna, there’s something we might need to tell you.” ——— Luna looks at the gathered six, suddenly seeing different beings within their eyes, “We... understand. Thine secret shall be safely kept within me. We shalt use our royal verdict to render the killing an accident. We shalt return to Canterlot to inform our sister.” She turns to the nearest door to leave, only to have it burst open. Friten rushes up to Twilight, only stopping inches from her face. Her eyes glow a bright green, red, and blue, brighter than ever before, “Queen Chrysalis is helping! She invades Canterlot to steal the souls of ponies and sacrifice to bring Ordirus here!” Luna snaps to Friten, “Ordirus?! Why dost thou mention our father’s name!?” Friten faces her, “Not your Ordirus. Different, evil Ordirus corrupted by the Void! He tried to destroy Universe Seven and failed, and now he comes for ours! No Prince Chem to stop him, powerful enough to kill all, must stop his summoning!” Luna looks towards the Elements, “Should we trust her?” Twilight nods, “Yes, and we need to leave immediately.” Pinkie grabs Gummy and looks towards the others, “Well, I don’t know about you guys, but I’m getting there as quick as possible.” She summons a cloak out of nowhere, waves it in front of her, and vanishes. > Laughter > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pinkie comes launching out of a mailbox in the high sector of Canterlot. Even so close to the castle, the changelings have overwhelmed the unprepared guards. Nobles are tied up within green goop, but the lack of guard bodies shows that they obviously went with a full retreat. Pinkie draws two daggers, and tosses Gummy into her hair, “Gummy, help protect the castle, I’ve got the streets!” Gummy disappears without a trace, leaving Pinkie to take on a bunch of incoming red changelings. She charges towards them, smiling as she gets into combat. The changelings all morph their arms into swords, and let loose a battle call, “Rage!” The others behind him shout, “Blood!” Every red changeling in the city shout at once, “Death!” Pinkie easily bounces over one’s stab, and returns the favor into his neck. She uses his body as a shield to block another, throwing the body onto them, and turning to face another charging her. She parries the swords with both her daggers, and jumps in for a drop-kick to it’s jaw. She uses it as a bounce pad to fly into another, using her helmet’s horns to stab right into it’s brain. She flips over, hooking the body along, and throwing it plus a dagger towards the drop-kick victim. The one buried under the other body finally gets up, allowing her to lazily throw a dagger into it’s eye, and out the back of it’s head. As she throws it, she parries yet another strike, sliding closer to the changeling and punching it in the throat. With it incapacitated for a second, she makes sure that a dagger visits the same place as her hoof. She smiles, facing towards a group of five charging changelings. She flips herself around, flicking her tail towards the enemy. From her tail comes many daggers, thrown with enough accuracy to make each changeling into a porcupine. Her show of skill does not slow the changelings that now come from every direction. She jumps up in the air as an arrow is fired at her, allowing it to hit another changeling. Within the air, she turns her hair into a drill, and dives back into the ground. She emerges from the ground underneath the archer, eliminating all the fat from the gut, and the entire gut itself. She then pops out from where she digged in right as changelings get to it. She takes out a giant mallet, and smashes a changeling over the head, into the hole they are jumping over. She lands on the changeling’s head, and grabs two of the others head’s. She smashes them together, making sure to make a double sided dagger in between their heads. She then ducks under the swings of ones behind her, and flips over them. She draws a dagger whilst in the air, using it to anchor herself in one changeling’s head. She then starts to spin on it’s head, summoning two daggers on her back legs. The spin easily reaches at least five changelings, cutting them into bite sized pieces. She flips off of the changeling, landing in the middle of the dead changelings. She looks around for others, only to see none. For she was looking for changelings, she missed the cardboard box slowly inching close. She can’t ignore it, however, when Queen Chrysalis reveals her true form. She tackles Pinkie over, making sure her hooves are trapped within the same green goop with a bit of magic. She presses down on Pinkie’s neck, “Slaughter my children, will you? I bet you would be begging for your life right around now, if you could breathe. Well, listen close, Pinkie. Changeling Queens do not easily forgive.” Pinkie gasps for air, not able to even try to pry away the hoof on her neck. Her gasps soon end though, and Chrysalis stomps down on her neck to make sure. Sure enough, her throat is crushed, and her heart has stopped. Chrysalis laughs in triumph, “Say hello to my children, Pinkie! For you shall not take another one of them!” Her gloating over her kill is stopped as a hoof wrapped in orange magic punches her in the side of the head. She looks over at Twilight, her cloak fluttering behind her. Twilight growls, “You’ll pay for that you bitch!” Chrysalis smiles, and casts a beam of green magic towards Twilight, expecting that to be all. She is surprised when that very same beam comes from below her, and blasts her into the air. Her wings flutter out, and she looks down at Twilight, “What do you think you can do?” Twilight floats up to meet her, “It’s not what I think I can do, it’s what I will do. And I promise you, for killing Pinkie... I will make you hurt!” Chrysalis barely even reacts before a hoof comes lashing out to punch her. Chrysalis blocks the blow with her own hoof, and returns a punch, turning her hoof into a sword. Twilight dodges to the side, and tries to kick Chrysalis. Her kick is intercepted, and Chrysalis kicks her down to the ground in response. Twilight’s cloak makes it so that she doesn’t hit the ground, allowing Chrysalis time to see the thin red cloth that keeps the cloak attached. Twilight glares up at Chrysalis, and her amulet opens itself. The Time Stone glows brightly, and Twilight tries to use it’s magic. Yet for some reason, it doesn’t respond to her. She tries over and over again, only to receive no effect. Chrysalis takes this chance to lunge towards Twilight with her sword hooves. She aims for Twilight’s neck, knowing that she will move in just the right way. Twilight proves her right. By dodging the blow, she allows the sword to catch the cloth of her cloak, and cut it. Her cloak flutters away from her, and the amulet containing the Time Stone clatters to the ground, closing itself. Twilight flops onto the ground below, and struggles to get up. Chrysalis smiles from above, “Aw, the little pony can’t get up? Looks like you failed your promise. Oh well, not like I care. Now, please die.” Chrysalis summons up magic in her horn, and unleashes a powerful beam at the helpless Twilight. That is when the Soul Stone decided to shout out to Twilight. An equally enraged voice shouts for the vengeance of it’s friend. Twilight suddenly finds purchase on the ground, her shakey hooves now stable. She reaches into the depths of her soul, where the true power of her magic lays. Her horn lights up with a bright purple glow, and she points her horn to the sky. A purple beam surronded by orange circles comes flying out. The already powerful beam made alicorn-level with the orange circles acting as boosters for it’s power. It meets Chrysalis’s beam of magic, and cuts right through it. Chrysalis sees this, and tries to dodge to the side, only to have it punch through her wing, and vaporize it. Chrysalis lands on the ground unevenly, but not badly. Twilight glares at her, her eyes glowing purple, “You will die!” Chrysalis absorbs the love of the ponies all around them, and even cannibalizes the rage from the red changelings. A new wing sprouts from where the other one used to be. Chrysalis seems to grow taller, and she snickers, “You used all your power for that one blast, didn’t you? Well I have more magic to go!” Twilight flinches, knowing Chrysalis is right. Her mana and magic both grow low, and she won’t be able to take on Chrysalis for long. But it doesn’t stop her from her glaring, “I will use as much power as I need to if I kill you!” But both parties are suddenly blinded by a blue glow. The Space Stone floats above the body of Pinkie, letting out the blue glow. It builds power, more and more, until it reaches a breaking point. It explodes, and the fragments of it all fly into Pinkie’s body, filling her with it’s power. Pinkie chokes back to life, and instantly stands up. She stares down Chrysalis, her eyes glowing the same blinding blue, “Better start begging for mercy, because we aren’t going to give it.” Chrysalis fires off a beam at her, hoping it would take her out. She simply flings out a cape, and makes the beam dissapear. She smiles, “You don’t know who you are messing with, do you?” Chrysalis backs up a bit, “You are Pinkie, I killed you!” She laughs, “You killed Pinkie’s body, you temporarily eliminated Loki’s mind. But we are no longer Pinkie or Loki.” She stomps on the ground, sending out a wave of blue magic that tosses Chrysalis into the air, “We are Poki, God of Laughter! Let the power of the Space Stone within us destroy you!” She teleports over to where Chrysalis comes flying down. She takes out her cannon, catching Chrysalis within it. She shoots her up into the air. She then meets Chrysalis in the air, kicking her down with the force of three Hulks. The crater made in the pavement where Chrysalis landed was at least two feet bigger than Chrysalis herself. Pinkie appears next to the crater, picking Chrysalis up by the neck, and creating a dagger in her hoof, “Let’s put a smile on that face.” She shoves the dagger into Chrysalis’s mouth, and carves a smile in it. She then throws her on the ground, and finishes the job by throwing an entire belt’s worth of daggers into her head. The glow fades away, leaving Poki standing there, looking at Chrysalis’s body. A glow still comes from her eyes, although it has dimmed to be noticeable, but not obvious. She looks over to Twilight, who’s cloak goes over her back. She smiles, “Well, Twilight, must admit that I am proud of your attempt.” Poki looks over herself, and nods, “This is new, and very fun. I know that you are now communicating with Twilight, but there is more. Pinkie and Loki are no more, apparently we merged together when the Space Stone absorbed into me.” Twilight smiles, “So, we call you Poki now?” She shrugs, “If you want. But we do have more important news.” Twilight nods, “And that is?” Pinkie looks into the distance, “A whole load of new Order magic in the distance.” Twilight looks in the same direction, “Does that mean?” Pinkie nods, “Yes. Ordirus is here.” > Order > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The alicorn towers over everything in the room. Even accounting for the Queen’s horn, Ordirus is twice her size. He turns to face the changeling. His eyes open, glowing pure white, offset by his blue coat and pitch black, flowing hair. Ordirus doesn’t change from his emotionless stare, “I am back. Didn’t even need Nerazîbûnê. Well done, bug. Now my physical form has been restored. It is time for my mission to begin.” Messorem bows to him, “Hail Lord Ordirus!” Ordirus doesn’t even react to her bowing, “I need a blade.” A changeling comes rushing, and presents him the best forged sword in changeling existence. He picks up the sword, and breaks it in half, “Not a sword weak enough to be carried by mortals. My own blade shall do nicely.” Messorem picks herself up, “But where shall we get it from?” He looks over at her, “Myself. I take it that the Blue Hive is as it should be?” She nods, “Yes, the Blue Hive is there.” Ordirus nods, “Then activate it.” She pauses, “Activate?” He turns to her, “You know why the Hive was there, correct?” She responds by shaking her head, and he continues, “The Hive is a machine. It’s entire purpose was to get me into the past.” She smiles, “Like a time machine?” He turns to face out a window, “Within your limited understanding, I suppose it could be put that way.” She walks after him as he walks up to the window, “How would you put it?” He admires the landscape, “A mass relay that causes the user to travel faster than light, and faster than time itself, meaning that they will be sent to the past where they will then be called back. It is only one example of the many creations I have made.” She nods, “So, how do we activate it?” He looks back at her, “By using the very thing that made the Blue Hive blue. Take the Element Zero core, and plug it into the relay. It will know what to do from then on.” She smiles, “You make it sound like the Hive is intelligent.” He nods, “That is because it is. The relay was given the most advanced AI I could make. The very same AI given to your namesake.” She tilts her head, “Messorem?” He looks back to her, “Messorem is from a language from the world of Terratus. It was a old language from the most ordered empire to ever exist. They call it Latin. In that language, Messorem means Reaper. Such is the name of my greatest creation, only below Celestia and Luna.” She smiles, “Tell me more about this Reaper.” He turns to face the window, “A flotilla of ships given the power to destroy. Just one could wipe your pitiful Hives off the face of Equestria. They are all equipped with AI that tells them exactly how to best destroy. They are a solution to Chaos. Death is the solution to Chaos.” She leans in, “Except for the Orderly changelings, yes?” He faces her, their noses almost bumping, “Perhaps. I have come not to deliver Order just yet. I come now for six souls, one of which you have already claimed for me.” She smiles, “The Elements.” He nods, “Yes. The only ones hit by my true blade are the ones who shall reconstruct it.” She nods, “What happened to this blade?” Ordirus looks outside, his eyes slightly narrowing, “Chem destroyed it with the Blade of Reality. Now, all I need are those souls, and my master’s gift shall come back. A blade forged of the Void. Stronger than any blade but Reality.” Messorem steps back, “Then let us go get this blade, my Lord!” He turns around, “I shall reclaim my blade, not you. You are here to listen to me and make sure everything goes smoothly. Is the crossbreed within the Element’s trust?” She nods, “Yes, and she completely believes in helping them against you.” Ordirus nods, “Good. Make sure she knows that we are going to the Blue Hive and are going back in time.” She smiles, “If you say so, Lord Ordirus. Why should they know?” Ordirus starts to walk, “For I know what they will do.” ——— Friten’s eyes start to glow bright red, drawing everyone’s attention to her. She speaks, “Ordirus is heading to the Blue Hive. Plans to go back in time.” Poki smiles, and draws her daggers, “Let’s go catch us some Lord of Order.” Applejack nods, “But we need to come up with a plan first. The Hive shall probably be heavily guarded, so only one of us will be able to get in safely. I volunteer to go.” > Time > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- —(0, Discord’s Rule)— Ordirus sits at the grand table of marble, enjoying a well prepared salad. His orange hair with red tips flows behind him. His green eyes look to the end of the table. Discord pops in, wearing colorful clothes gifted to him by the citizens of Everfree. He smiles as he starts to eat his own salad. Ordirus looks over at his brother, “Well, you are finally back.” Discord nods, “I liked Everfree. Very nice place, very nice magical artifact in the middle. Bit cold, but that doesn’t matter much.” Ordirus smiles, “Not often do you stay out for more than a fortnight. A year was a surprise.” He shrugs, “What can I say? Chaos is my thing and all. Oh, I ran into Celly and Lulu there.” Ordirus leans back, “How are my daughters doing away from home?” Discord smiles, “You can ask them yourself. I convinced them to come on back and for us to all have a party.” Ordirus laughs, “Isn’t every day a party for you?” Discord laughs back, “Ah, yes, but rarely a party with you involved.” Ordirus looks down, taking another bite, “Yes, I do not have many parties, do I? Nor do I see my citizens either. Tell me, brother, what do they think of me?” Discord smiles, “You are their stable king. They know they can rely upon you, even if they’ve never seen you. So, the opposite of me.” Ordirus nods, “Perhaps I should change that, then. You have parties whenever you want. Perhaps I could have one that happens every year. One for every citizen to come and meet their King.” Discord nods, “Oh yes, that is a wonderful idea!” Ordirus smiles, “I can call it the... Grand Galloping Gala. Yes, that is a very good name. It can be a way to welcome the Fall.” Discord takes another bite, “It will do them good to see you. In all the artwork you are depicted as being larger than life. Perhaps we should get a realistic painting of you.” Ordirus nods, “Perhaps a self portrait within a mountain range. Maybe a sea instead, with an island to be my eyes and a line of inactive volcanos for my hair. Maybe we should all have our images within the land.” Discord laughs, “Oh, good luck getting one of me!” Ordirus smiles, “I’m serious! A ocean for Luna in the west where the sun sets, a ocean for Celestia in the east where the sun rises. A ocean and volcano range for me, and a bunch of taverns for you.” Discord smiles, and takes a deep swig from a tankard, “Ah yes, the ponies shall get drunk within me! It’s not a bad idea, in all honesty.” Ordirus looks up from his plate, right to Discord. As he does, a deep roar fills the castle, and a blue beam appears behind Discord. A figure stands within the beam, and Ordirus sees his muscles twitch, “Brother, dodge!” Discord moves to the side, but a hoof still hits him. He goes flying out of his chair and against a wall, one of his two snaggleteeth. Ordirus summons his blade, and the shards assemble in front of him. A handle made of wood and stone, with a blade made of solid magma, and the crossguard made of ice. He hops out of his seat, and faces the intruder. What he sees is a corrupted version of himself. It’s eyes glowing bright white, and his mane turned into an inky black. He immediately knows what is going on, and drops his blade, “This is not what we should be.” Ordirus tilts his head, “We are the sentinel of Order. I have accepted this. I know how to ensure Order. You waste time trying other solutions, yet you know the real solution.” King Ordirus walks closer to him, “Death is not Order. Order is control, not blood!” Ordirus looks in his eyes, “Control of the fate of ponies. In order to control, we need to kill all and make something new. W can grant them happiness in true Order, not the mockery that you push for.” King Ordirus shakes his head, “You are wrong, but you will never listen. Kill me, if you must.” Discord shouts out as his brother is hit with a punch, “Brother, fight him! We can take him!” King Ordirus looks over to his brother, and shakes his head, “There is no way this can end other than death. Either the death of one, or the death of many. I choose one.” Ordirus picks up the King in a telekinetic grip, “All will die, Order commands so.” King Ordirus’s throat starts to get crushed, but he doesn’t lose eye contact with his brother, “I trust... Edis. He will be stopped. Heroes... far beyond me.” A single tear falls from his eye, “Protect my daughters.” His breath stops, and his soul leaves him. It gets absorbed into Ordirus, who takes the power gratefully. He calls the blade over to him, and faces Discord, “I never succeeded in killing you, Chaos. Even home. Allow me to fix that.” He sends the blade flying towards Discord, intent on pinning his neck to the wall. It is stopped as another loud roar sounds, and a blue beam lands in front of Discord. The blade is stopped in it’s tracks by a red, white, and blue shield. Applejack glares at Ordirus, “You will fail.” Ordirus smiles as Applejack runs towards him. His blade splits into it’s fourteen shards, and he sends them all flying at her at different angles. Applejack jumps in an attempt to escape them, but they aim perfectly despite his movement. She uses her shield to block the largest shard, but the rest are able to go through her. She collapses to the ground, dead. Ordirus draws something from a bag in response. The hilt of a blade. He absorbs Applejack’s soul into the hilt, and nods as another sixth of a blade comes out, making one third of the blade. He looks towards Discord, and shakes his head. He approaches with his blade, only to be stopped by a bright green glow. The Time Stone floats above Applejack, with a blinding green glow. It builds up energy, until it explodes into frangmets that enter Applejack’s body, and send Ordirus flying. She stands from the ground, with her shield flying to her front leg. She smiles, her green glowing eyes mirroring it, and tilts back her hat, “Well, we’re ready to go again! Come on you no good alicorn, and face the strength of an earth pony!” Ordirus flips over in midair, and lands facing her, “A new trick, I must admit. One I can rectify.” She snorts, “Well, you ain’t facing just Steve anymore. Naw, you made us madder. Face... well, we didn’t exactly come up with a name. Let’s go with... Capplejack then!” Ordirus nods, “Well, I wish I could. But, I think I have better things to do.” The blue beam comes down around him, and he is sent back to the present. Capplejack uses the power of the Time Stone, and readies to return to the present, “You ain’t getting away that easy!” Discord is left behind. He crawls over to his brother, and puts his hands on him. He leans down, and hugs him up, “No... no... you can’t. Don’t leave me, Ordirus... please. Be joking... I need you. I need you!” The doors open, with Celestia and Luna walking in. Celestia sees Discord over the dead body of her father, and rushes over to him, “Discord?!” Luna flies after her, “What did you do?!” He looks over at them, the tears falling from his eyes filling them right back up. The misery from the two gifts him chaotic power, extracting a heavy toll on his mind. His eyes slowly start to turn yellow, and he laughs, “This is all just a big joke, isn’t it? Isn’t it! Life is just so funny!” He raises his talons as Celestia backs up, “What happened?” He smiles, and snaps, “The world was gifted to me!” He looks back the second before he dissapears, and his sanity returns for a second, “And I will protect them.” > Mind > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Blue Hive activates once more, the center two rings spinning around each other, and Ordirus appearing back in the relay. The mass relay explodes, sending the six fighters flying away. Ordirus spreads his wings, and takes off into the distance, intent on striking deep at the six. Friten corrects herself in midair, and her own eyes start to glow white, “He heads for Ponyville!” Hulk roars, and jumps after the speeding alicorn. He shouts back, “Puny ponies defeat blue bugs! Hulk punch other pony!” Capplejack emerges back in the present, and emerges herself in the fighting. The others all decide to turn back to the fight, and try to hold off the forces of King Nullam. ——— Ordirus lands in the middle of Ponyville, and be quickly turns to the outskirts. He trots with purpose, ignoring the confused looks of the ponies around him. However, when he draws his sword, they all know to scatter. Hulk comes crashing down, right where Ordirus was a millisecond ago. Now, the only thing Hulk jumped on is his sword. Ordirus draws the sword from Hulk’s chest, and shakes his head, “Unrefined.” He raises his sword, and slays Hulk. He takes out the hilt of his true blade, and absorbs the third soul into it. As he finishes, he is caught off guard by another green fist. He crashes through the ground, using the momentum to face his new attacker. Loom stands there, fists raised, “You pay for harming Hulk!” She charges towards him, barely giving him any time to react before he is sent flying into a building by her punch. Her rage makes her powerful, yet not a single bruise appears on Ordirus’s face. He calmly extracts himself from the inside of a flower shop, and walks back into the street. He draws his blade, and sends it flying towards Loom. He doesn’t expect her to use magic powerful enough to throw off his aim and make him skewer an apple instead. Loom charges towards him with another punch. This time, however, he catches it. He twists her fist around, and uses his wings to send himself flying on his back, thus throwing her over him. He rolls to standing after the throw, and approaches towards her. He prepares to give her a taste of what her punches feel like. But he is stopped by an orange and yellow glow to his side. He looks over, not caring about the intensity, and sees the Mind Stone break itself into Hulk’s form. Hulk stands up, eyes glowing the same orange, contrasting his green skin. Hulk raises his fist, placing a pair of black glasses on his face. He smiles, and shrugs at Ordirus, “Well, looks like our royal ruffian has made a mistake. Such barbarity, such a lack of grace, no tactician whatsoever. Let us teach you, for we are no longer separate. Banner, Rarity, Hulk, we are all one. Hannity, that is who we are now.” Ordirus raises his blade, but he never gets a chance to swing. A set of hooves land behind him, and hit him with a beam of moonlight. Ordirus slides across the street, and Luna absorbs his presence, “So... Discord was right. He didn’t kill father. You did.” Ordirus takes a step forward, nodding, “He surrendered himself to me.” Luna growls, summoning a glaive within her magic, “You killed him!” She stabs forward at him, a set of three that he manages to side step. He tries to send his own blade, only to have it be caught within the fist of Hannity. He draws the blade back, but it barely nudges, and he has to focus on dodging more. Luna’s glaive dances through the air, intent on the blood of Ordirus. Loom picks herself up from the ground, and gets behind Ordirus. She punches him in the back of the head, sending him flopping to the ground. Luna makes a downward stab, only to go through thin air as Ordirus teleports. He stands behind them, “Fight me as long as you want. You will get tired, I shall not.” His speech is stopped as a snap fills the air. Discord appears beside him, his single snaggletooth hanging low. He kicks Ordirus in the ribs, sending him flying away. Discord growls as the yellow leaves his eyes, “You killed my brother. You will pay for that!” Ordirus stands and looks around him. He nods, “It would seem I am outmatched. I could slay all of you with my Void Blade, but I do not have that now. Perhaps I should take on someone smaller than you.” A white bubble encases Ordirus, and he teleports far away. ——— Friten’s eyes glow white once more, and she turns to Rainbow, “He heads for far away! A place called... Xandar!” Rainbow smiles, “After Thanos, is he? Not if I get there first!” She holds up Stormbreaker, “Bifrost!” The beam comes from space, and sends him off towards Xandar. > Power > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- A planet burns as ships fire their lasers at the unlucky people below, a punishment for daring to hold the Power Stone away from them. In the middle of a city center is a tall, purple figure in golden armor. A two sided sword implanted into the ground beside him, and a golden gauntlet with a purple glow coming from it. He stares at the utter destruction, not bothering to smile, but merely accept that this is what needs to be done. A white glow appears in front of him, and a quadrapedic figure appears before him. Ordirus nods as he looks at Thanos, “Thanos, Mad Titan?” Thanos nods, “That is who I am. Who are you to control so much power?” Ordirus blinks once, “Ordirus, Archon of Order, Element of Control, Bringer of Order.” Thanos barely smiles, “A man of Order? Or pony, should I say. Well, you have my attention, say what you will.” Ordirus nods, “I come with an ultimatum from Lord Zalgo. My Lord offers you an invitation to our humble army. He believes none are more suited for the Element of Power than the great Thanos.” Thanos nods, “This Element you speak of, what makes it different then the Stone I carry now?” Ordirus looks all around him, “It is far more than that Stone. It grants a power only able to be wielded by the strongest, those with the strongest will. Like my own Element of Order, the Element of Power makes you into more of a god than you ever could be without.” Ordirus focuses on the Infinity Gauntlet, “Six Stones of Infinity may be able to wipe out a single universe, but six Elements of Destruction can work with Lord Zalgo to destroy everything.” Thanos straps on his helmet, “Is that your goal? To destroy everything?” Ordirus nods, “From the ashes of a dead universe, I shall be given reign to make one anew. A universe of Order, where I control all.” Thanos shakes his head, “Then I shall not join him. A universe that bows before one that is fallible is not a universe at all. It is a simulation. A simulation where all will is taken away. Strength, generosity, and honesty all given, not earned. Those are all things that I stand for, so I will not help you.” Ordirus summons his blade, “Then you forfeit your soul to me.” Thanos whips his own blade out of the ground, and blasts Power at Ordirus. Ordirus takes the blast without a single flinch. Thanos’s eyes widen, and he nods, “You are strong, Ordirus. But my will is stronger.” Ordirus breaks his blade into fragments, and looks at Thanos, “Strength? Will? You underestimate me, Thanos. I am beyond strength, I am beyond will. I have nothing to follow but the truth now, and I am ascended because of it.” Thanos smiles a bit, “Without a will, you are nothing. The hardest choices require the strongest wills, Ordirus, and a being without will cannot make any choice.” Ordirus snorts, “I have something more than will. Something you would not understand, Thanos. I have the Void. Only Infinity could defeat one of the Void.” Thanos shakes his head, “You do not understand, child. Put down your sword, I can te-“ He is cut off as a blade fragment cuts right through his heart and lungs. Ordirus nods, “I understand who you are, I understand what you believe. But you do not know me. You are weak, Titan, for you could not see even the most simple trickery.” Ordirus opens his mouth to speak more, but is interrupted as an axe crashes into him. He is flung over Thanos, absorbing his soul as he flies over him, and the axe is called back to the newcomer. Rainbow smiles, “Oh, believe me, I know a lot about trickery. You are but a mere copy of the creativity Poki could come up with.” Ordirus turns to face him, a raises his blade, “Perhaps I should take her soul next.” Rainbow laughs, “I’d like to-“ She is cut off as the last shard of Ordirus’s blade goes through her. It tears through her vital organs, and comes out the other side to fly onto Ordirus’s sword. He nods, and absorbs her soul into the Void blade, making it be only two left. He turns around, only to be smacked in the face by the Power Stone flying to just behind him. He is sent flying again by a purple explosion of energy. He recovers, and twists about to see her get up. She smiles, “Aww yeah, now this is awesome! Now we can see why Poki felt so good! Rainbooms, thunderclaps, wings and Stormbreaker! Oh, you are so screwed now ya jerk!” Ordirus shrugs, “One pegasus is hardly a threat.” She slams her axe into the ground, summoning a giant bolt of lightning to her. She holds out a single wing, directing the lightning. Ordirus dodges to the side, “You will have to try harder than that, pegasus.” His bragging is stopped as a double sided sword crashes into him. Thanos stands proudly, having been brought back by the magical lightning. His gauntlet now empty, he decides to shed it and pick up a plasma caster from the ground instead. She smiles, “We are not just one pegasus anymore. The world shall hear tales of Rainbor Thrash! Tales of her bringing her worst enemy back to life just to defeat another! And Xandar shall hear of the pony!” She flies high into the air with a single flap of her wings, the power sending debris everywhere. She arcs high into the atmosphere, axe in hooves. She starts to spin it, and angles herself downward, “The pony who performed a feat beyond any other!” She starts to descend towards the ground faster than ever before. The axe and her own wings faster than every spaceship every built. A cone starts to build behind her, crackling with lightning. She smiles and laughs, “A Rainbolt!” She strikes straight into Ordirus with her strongest attack. A multicolored beam crashes down with her, burning with the temperature of lightning, and sending out a sonic boom with the sound of thunder. Lightning courses through the beam, shocking everything it touches, and burning it to ash. The ground around the Rainbolt melts from the condensed heat, and houses are collapsed due to the sonic boom. When the light fades, Thanos looks into the crater where Ordirus was hit. A pair of blue hooves dig into the ground, pulling Ordirus from the crater. His coat is almost entirely burned away, and his flowing mane is now nothing more than a buzz cut. His horn rolls on the ground next to him, right next to the pile of feathers that he no longer has. He shows emotion, for the first time since his death at Chem’s hooves. He scrambles away from the crater, and his glowing white eyes show obvious fear. He reaches for his blade, only to have Thanos stop down on it, and cause his attempts to pry it free useless. Rainbor flies from the crater, axe still firmly within hoof. She flies down to Ordirus, smiling, “Not so strong now, are you?” Ordirus tries to scramble away, but his hooves fail to find traction, “Impossible! Lord Zalgo, please, help me!” Rainbow presses her hoof on his head, stomping him into the ground, “Shout some more, you pansy. Prey for any god out there. When they fail to answer, think about why that might be. A murdering bastard who couldn’t give a damn about any that are below him calling out for help from the few more powerful then him. Do you think they will answer, Ordirus? Or do they not give a damn for those below them?” A horn slowly rolls over to them, Rainbor’s presence like it’s own gravitational pull. Ordirus scrambles some more, and wraps his hoof onto his fallen horn. He summons all the magic available to him, and does the one thing he can think of. He runs away, disappearing back to Equestria. Rainbor swings down her axe where he was, only to bite into dirt rather than flesh. She growls, “Damn it! He won’t be able to run forever!” Thanos walks up to her, throwing the Infinity Gauntlet by her hooves. She looks up, and he shakes his head, “The Power Stone is gone. My quest is over, all my will and strength for nothing.” She looks up at him, “Thanos?” He smiles slightly, “Perhaps I am not destiny. Perhaps the universe is trying to tell me that my quest was not right. I do not know what the universe thinks. What I do know is that my will shall not go to waste.” He picks up his blade, and nods at Rainbor, “You saved my life, and you almost stopped him. My quest is something new. Something unforeseen. I cannot allow him to get rid of the strength and will I have built up.” He offers a purple hand, “We may be the worst of enemies in the future, where you come from. Maybe a future where I continued. But that can change. We need to stop Ordirus, and that means that I need you to be my friend.” He smiles, “My will is yours, if you want.” Rainbor looks at his outstretched hand, and hesitates, “You killed Loki. You killed half of Asgard. You killed half the universe.” He shakes his head, “I have not anymore.” Rainbor slowly puts her hoof up, and shakes, “Join us. We need to defeat him first, then speak about if we are friends.” ——— Queen Messorem smiles as a white flash happens in her throne room. She looks over to where Ordirus should be standing, only to see his unconscious body. She rushes over, listening for a heartbeat and breathing. She luckily finds both, and observes his body. Mangled, burned, ruined. His once strong visage now like that of a pony in the emergency room. She scoops up his body, and shouts for a medic. She hugs her Lord’s body close, rocking back and forth and crying over the injuries given to him. As he is carried away by a medic, something falls out of his saddle pack. Queen Messorem picks up the small blade, with only four sixths of it coming out of the hilt. She grips it in her hooves, tears still leaking down her face. She looks up, grasping the blade close, and she makes a promise to herself. Whoever harmed her friend shall face their combined ire and rage. Her eyes start to glow red as her own rage builds up her power. She starts to grow until she is right in the middle between Celestia and Ordirus’s size. She will finish his blade. She will finish his quest. > Shadows > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- King Nullam stands in the dark cavern, towering at the same size as Queen Messorem. His eyes glow a bright blue, and he carries a urn with him. He takes ashes from the urn, and scatters them in the cavern, his hooves ignite in green fire, and his wings a brown fire. He throws it all around, the cave’s only light being him, as the outside is blocked by snow. The ashes catch on fire as well, half burning green, and the other half brown. He summons his own magic, lighting up his horn with the same bright blue glow. He looks into the realm of mana, and starts to speak, “Ask, støv, flamme, kaskadskygge. Mørk konge, en av skyggene, din tid kommer igjen. Jeg gråter til deg og ber deg høre! Alle som ofret for å stoppe Vogrim, din tid til å ofre kommer opp igjen! Mørk venn, bror fra fortiden! Stå opp fra gravens skygger!” The flaming ashes start to swirl around the cave, and around Nullam. He stares on without fear, and sends out another blast of magic. The mana listens to him, and a dark mist begins to fill the room. The flaming green ash all collects in two spots. Two green eyes open, with a dark red pupil staring out, and purple flame appearing behind it. The dark mist all collects itself together, into a dark mane and tail. A deep laughter echoes around the cave as King Sombra appears, brought back to the physical realm. He steps closer to Nullam, his laughter continuing. They stand right in front of each other, neither so much as blinking. Until all tension is broken as they hug each other. Sombra pats the changeling’s back, laughing, “Oh, it’s been too long, Nullam! I never thought I would see you again! Oh, Vogrim said that any resurrection would extract a heavy price, he was wrong!” Sombra leans back, smiling at him, “Where’s Laevus?” Nullam shakes his head, “He... he’s gone.” Sombra loses his smile, “Chrysi?” Nullam shakes his head again, “The ritual requires a heavy sacrifice. I found her ashes in the middle of Canterlot.” Nullam smiles, “This is why I summoned you, Sombra. Things have been going bad.” Sombra leans back, and shakes his head, “What happened?” Nullam looks down, “The prophecy came true, and all changelings are helping their leader, Ordirus. We made a grave mistake, Sombra. Not only was the opposition stronger than we thought, but Ordirus is a madman!” Nullam looks back up, “The Brown Hive is scattered to the winds, the Green Hive tears itself apart for a new Queen, the Red Hive is about to march to war, and my Hive is dead! Laevus was killed when he tried to kill an innocent foal for Ordirus, and he faced someone great. Chrysalis was killed when she tried to invade Canterlot to steal enough souls for Ordirus. My Hive blew up because Ordirus had to go back in time! The race of Changelings is almost wiped off the face of Equis!” Sombra looks up, “What about Messo?” Nullam looks him the eye, “She is making a mistake. She has ascended, and uses her own rage to power herself as she marches to kill more. She will die out there. If Ordirus was almost killed, then her death is certain. I call upon you for this, Sombra.” Sombra looks up, “You want me to sacrifice myself?” Nullam sighs, “You were the only one in all the land who could defeat Vogrim. I think you could beat Ordirus before he gets his sword back.” Sombra nods, “Anything for you, Null. Tell me where he is.” > Void > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The spiders cry as the changeling Queen cuts through them like a mower through grass. Their sharp fangs cannot pierce her chitin exoskeleton, and their poison is evaporated by the heat of her rage. Their soft skin is like air compared to the sharp blade of magma of Natura, and of the skilled mind of Messorem behind it. Red beams of magic and fire fill the air, stealing the life and soul of every spider that tries to flee, and the fragments of Natura take out any archers. If any spider is dumb enough to charge her, they are met with a swift stabbing from the Void dagger. She is stopped in her tracks as a orange portal appears next to her. She only manages to see a red suited hoof impact her own face. Fluttershy jumps into the spider caves, her suit ready to go. She stares Messorem in the eyes, glowing red eyes, and sees beyond. Fluttershy stands, rising out of her battle stance. She slowly takes off her mask, allowing her pink hair to unfurl, and a calm smile to show itself, “Please, don’t do this. Look inside yourself, Messorem, beyond your rage. Talk to me. Please, I don’t want to harm you.” Messorem looks into her eyes, and something inside of her breaks for a second. But that second was too short. A fragment of Natura goes through Fluttershy’s body. She looks at the wound, and flops down on the ground. She whispers to Messorem, “I forgive you.” But one pony is not as forgiving. Messorem is caught in the side by a blast of magic, one that would kill her if not for the power of her rage. Twilight stands there, growling at her, “You shall not take another life!” Messorem turns to her, and fires a beam of magic. Twilight looks at the beam, and smiles, allowing it to hit her dead on. As she does so, the final two Infinity Stones appear in the cavern. Reality and Soul, over Fluttershy and Twilight, respectably. Twilight smiles as she absorbs the Stone before even falling over. Her cape flies onto her, and her Amulet now glows a bright orange light just like her eyes. She lights up her horn, “Did you not think we were paying attention to the pattern? All you have done is give us enough power to defeat you.” Messorem shakes her head, “Impossible! No pony could gain power beyond that of an alicorn, with the sole exception of Ordirus!” She shrugs, “Well, make that about seven examples now. We are now around your level in power, if my math is correct, and my math is correct. So, with a single blast, we can defeat you and be home in time for tea. Right, let’s turn Messorem into a mess.” Messorem smiles, “Who do you think you are?” She looks at herself, “A combination of a brain surgian given magic, and a scholar who studied mana. Doctor Twiven Starkle. If you don’t like pronouncing words that are beyond that of a third grader, then you can call us Doctor Twange. We are the Sorceress of Friendship, something you know very little about, I’m sure. Now, any other inane comments before we make your legs not feel lonely in being swiss cheese?” She is stopped in charging up her magic by a usually weak voice now speaking strong, “Don’t.” Twange looks over at her, “You don’t want me to kill her? Why not?” Her eyes glow red, and they stare into Messorem’s similar eyes, “We will not kill her. There is something in her that is good. We must let it grow.” Twange shakes her head, “Grow? She just killed almost an entire race of beings! Why should we care about her good!?” A new voice joins the bunch, “Pony-blood stop questioning her! She is Maiden of Forest, her word is law here!” Twange looks back at the Spirit of the Everfree as it walks in, “Why are you here? What is this, a party?!” The Spirit looks over at her, “Sister-blood calls us. Calls upon Everfree as whole!” She nods as all sorts of different animals start to move into the cave, “Everfree listen to call, and answer! If pony-blood gets in way, then we shall spill blood!” She smiles, “Don’t worry, Spirit, Twange. We aren’t ‘her’, we are Pettershy. Or you could call us Flutterman, if you really want to.” She looks at Messorem, “But her mind is tough, and she is filled with rage. This may take a while.” A blue light fills the cavern as a changeling teleports in. He looks around, “Oh, looks like you got this covered.” He looks over at Pettershy, and smiles, “Here, let me help.” Nullam’s horn lights up, giving Pettershy a light blue glow, causing Messorem to take in a deep gasp, “Brother?” Nullam smiles, “Messorem, please, we are here for you.” She tries to lean back, but can’t break eye contact with Pettershy, “We?” The shadows collect themselves, and aid their own green magic to Pettershy, “Messorem, what have you done? I leave you alone for a millennia, and here you are destroying everything.” Messorem pulls back, but is brought right back, “I am saving the race of Changelings, Sombra! Ordirus will help us!” Nullam shakes his head, “The race is dead, Messorem, we are all that is left. Your Hive is the only one left, sister.” Sombra steps up to her, “Tonta! ¡Aprende por una vez! The Crystal Empire was destroyed because I trusted Vogrim saying he would save us! Maredrid trusted Discord to save them, and they are ruins! Ordirus is just another in a long line of bastards trying to trick a race into death!” Messorem breaks out of the stare, and falls to the ground. Her eyes flick their red glow off, and she cries, “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry! It’s too late!” Nullam smiles, “It’s never too late.” Messorem shakes her head, “The Void Blade!” They all look at said blade, now radiating it’s darkness against the room. It rises into the air, it’s sickening power causing it to fly to it’s master. ——— The blade crashes through the Red Hive, knocking every changeling unconscious just from the radiating feeling of darkness. Ordirus’s eyes slam open, and he reaches a hoof up quick as lightening to catch his blade in the air. His body is overcome with it’s dark power, granting him full strength. He gets up, roughly grabbing his decapitated horn, and forcing it to wrap around his leg as a ring. His featherless wings stay on his back, still useless. But it doesn’t matter. He uses the darkness of the world, and gathers it the blade, summoning power unimaginable. ——— Twange quickly starts making portals, “We need to go, now!” ——— Portals appear all around Ordirus, summoning warriors to fight him. Loom charges at him, ready to deliver a blow to his face. But, without letting the blade drop, he manages to kick her away. Angel fires a web at him, only to have the string be reflected back. Apple Bloom throws her own shield at him, but he simply catches it in his teeth, throwing it back into her face. Gummy falls out of the air, a dagger in his jaws. He crashes down two feet from Ordirus, and licks his eye, defeated. Scootaloo fires a bolt of lightning at him, only to have it be destroyed by the darkness. Spike makes a portal next to his head, and breathes fire into it. The green flame is nothing next to the dark. Thanos stabs forward, only to trip right past Ordirus. Sombra charges from the opposite side, and ends up colliding with Thanos. The final bout of portals bring the last wave. The six Elements, the six Infinity Stones. Luna with her glaive, the Spirit of the Everfree in Hydra form, and Discord. They all raise their weapons to fight, but by the time they are up, there is nothing left to fight. Ordirus has disappeared, escaping through a new hole in reality that closes after him. Everyone looks around, seeing nothing but their fellows. Thanos speaks first, “What just happened?” Capplejack looks over at him, shaking her head, “We lost.” They all sit, not knowing what to do next. Then, a voice speaks. An ethereal tone that echoes in the large room, “You are not done yet.” The spirit of King Ordirus appears next to the figure who spoke. He smiles at the gathered heroes, “You have just put us a step closer to victory.” > Endings > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The tall figure’s purple robes blow in a nonexistent wind, and his eyes stare at the gathered heroes, “I am Edis, God of Endings.” King Ordirus speaks after him, “He informed me of the fact that I needed to die in the past, despite your efforts, Capplejack.” Edis staggers a bit, and lowers himself to the ground, “You six were my final quest. I had to make sure you didn’t die.” Ordirus smiles, and creates a spiritual chair for Edis, “Edis has been on a long journey. He comes from another universe, and his physical form has faded like mine. His spiritual form is about to fade as well, so please listen closely.” Edis takes a seat, “You six are lesser beings in the multiverse, something you will find hard to understand. But there exists a threat beyond you.” Poki smiles, “You sure it’s beyond us? We are the most powerful creatures here!” Edis shakes his head, “No, there are heroes far mightier than you! But you are still very, very important. For Ages untold, there has been a cycle of the multiverse being destroyed and created again. Nobody can remember the last Cycle, but due to my nature as God of Endings, I understand more. The Great Destroyer, Zalgo, grows in power and gathers followers. You have already met Ordirus, Element of Control. But there are five more. King Blueblood, Element of Greed. Khorn, Element of Blood. Kurye Karşıtı, Element of Power. Nerazîbûnê, Element of Madness. And Jim Pickens, Element of Deceit. Each of them are powerful enough to kill all of you.” Edis looks up, “His forces will grow larger as well.” Twange shrugs, “If they are so powerful, what can we fight with?” Edis smiles, “The counter, the Elements of Harmony. They carry power equal to the Elements of Destruction, and their bearers are all skilled warriors within themself. Survivor, Element of Compassion, Spirit of Humanity. Avatar, Element of Steadfastness, Spirit of Souls. Slenderman, Element of Selflessness, Spirit of Emotion. Courier, Element of Resolve, Spirit of Creation. Ravens Breath, Element of Unity, Spirit of Endings. And Chem, Defeater of Ordirus, Element of Bravery, Spirit of Reality.” Rainbor interrupts, “This is great and all, but how can we help?” King Ordirus looks up at them, and smiles, “There exists a legend, forged by the combined minds of every Ordirus. If one of us are to be corrupted, then they can only be truly defeated when faced with nine warriors of Order, Harmony, and Chaos, all of whom have been wronged by Ordirus. We believe you six are those warriors. There must be three of each, and we have two so far. Capplejack and Pettershy represent Order, Twange and Hannity represent Harmony, and Rainbor with Poki represent Chaos.” Hannity smiles, “Well, that only accounts for us six. What about another three?” Ordirus looks over at Edis, and he shakes his head, “Their fate shall be decided by them.” Pettershy nods, “So, you want us to fight Ordirus?” He smiles, and nods, “Yes. We need you to participate in the final battle for the Multiverse. This is the only chance we’ve had at ending the Cycles, and it might be the last one we have!” Twange looks over at him, “A battle? I imagine there will be other armies, then?” Ordirus smiles, “Yes. The army of the Bananaramma Corporation led by Emperor Eric McBad, the Fourth Storm Reich led by Avatar, the Equestrian Republic led by the Three Cities, the Rock Hive led by Clive and Clyde, the Winged Hussars, and the warriors of Inamorta will be the main forces. Alongside any army you can gather. There shall also be a small squad led by Commander Shepard, a force of monsters led by Slenderman, the Lords of Hell, and the Masters of Arcane Weave. You are a small part in this army, but an important part nonetheless.” Edis nods, standing as well as he can, with his body slowly fading, “Please, bring a final ending.” Ordirus looks at Edis as he fades away, and shakes his head sadly, “What do you answer?” Capplejack looks at the others, “Avengers?” “Trick!” “Smash!” “Forgive?” “Cast.” “Aim for the head!” Capplejack turns to Ordirus, “Assemble!”
