> One Smol Ponecat > by FourShadow > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > One Smol Chapter > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday morning. It was a beautiful day outside, the sun was out, children were playing happily over in the playground. She was waiting for her girlfriend to arrive, she found a place to eat, over at one of the picnic areas. But now she was just waiting for her. Her heel tapped against the ground, with a little impatience. Trixie was running slow today. Where could she have gone? "Trixie, where are you..." Adagio muttered. "Dagi?" A tiny voice called. Adagio's head tilted. "Trixie? Oh you're here, uh... wait. Where are you?" She looked around for where her girlfriend was calling, but the sound was coming from behind one of the trashcans. "Dagi? Um... something happened to me," Trixie called out. Her voice was sounding very small and tiny. "What happened, baby?" Adagio called out. "Please, come on out, it's okay." She waited for a moment or two, Around the corner she could see something small step out. It was small and fuzzy, like a cat’s leg. And slowly, more fuzz emerged from behind the bin. And eventually, a full form came out of hiding and raced up to Adagio’s feet. It was a small unicorn! But oddly, it also wasn’t. It had a head, body, and tail of a unicorn. But strangely, the feet didn’t resemble hooves, they looked more like cat’s feet. She was fuzzy all over like one too. But what surprised Adagio most of all was that it was Trixie; who else could it have been? It had a mane that was ice blue like her own hair, and blue fur that was the same color as her own skin. Her tail swished side to side, curiously looking up at the really tall human. “This is what happened to me,” the tiny creature squeaked. The pieces of the puzzle were all connecting. Now it was becoming clear who this was. Adagio blinked at her girlfriend, but she was also blushing like mad at how cute she looked as a pony. "Trixie? Sweetie, what happened to you?" Adagio asked as he sat down next to Trixie and laid a hand on her back. She’s so soft!, she silently thought and absently began to pet Trixie. "I don't know," replied Trixie, almost purring. "I was just out and about earlier one looking in a few stores, when I began to feel weird,” Trixie purred. “I thought it was because I had not eaten anything today yet, so I went and had some lunch, it was not long after I found myself like this." Adagio surprisingly was handling this incredibly well. Normally under any circumstance if you found out the love of your life was turned into some animal, it'd be full of shock and fear. But having been turned human when she was banished to Equestria, it wasn't entirely shocking to her. “Oh, I’m so sorry sweetie. Don’t worry, we’ll find a way to get you back to normal.” Trixie let out a soft meow, almost sounding like a cat. She blushed harshly, realizing what she had just done. "Dagi, I..." All thought stopped the moment Adagio started to pet her back. The touch of her skin, rubbing the most itchy of spots was feeling really good. The pleasure came out in the form of purring like a cat and rubbing herself against Adagio's side. "Dagi, pwease keep petting me..." Adagio giggled. "Aww, of course." She pet Trixie's back some more, even giving a few scratches near the back of her neck and behind her ears. Trixie's purring grew louder, and she rubbed herself against the siren some more. Immediately, Adagio picked up the small pone and had the biggest grin on her face. Trixie was a small fluffy pone, but at the same time she was behaving like a cat. A ponecat, if you will. "Aren't you the cutest little thing?" The little ponecat just squeaked, making Adagio gush. She held her close and started to pet her head, giving the little creature some attention. “Hey, tell you what?” Adagio said, still holding the little pone. “Is Trixie still hungry?” Trixie could only nod. “Aww, that’s no problem. I still have some food,” Adagio carefully lifted her into her lap, making sure she was safe, comfortable as well. Reaching over to her backpack, she pulled out a small brown bag where she had her food. Pulling something out, Trixie could see Adagio was unwrapping a piece of sushi, something that made her tail swish in excitement. Adagio pulled half of the sushi apart and slowly passed it down to the ponecat. Trixie sniffed the sushi, hoping she wouldn’t pick up a scent that was disgusting. Nothing. Extending her paws out, she quickly snatched it and started to nibble away. The siren just smiled, watching her little ponecat eat. "Someone's a hungry little ponecat, mmm?" Trixie didn't pay attention, she just kept nibbling on her food. Just for fun, Adagio went to try and grab her food and Trixie looked at her with the most furious face ever. But her look of anger didn't faze Adagio, if anything, Adagio just found that silly mad face more adorable than scary. "Mine!" Adagio giggled. So cute. “Does Trixie want a bellyrub?” Adagio tilted her head, smirking. “Yes pwease,” Trixie squeaked. “Aww, why not?” Adagio said, giving in. Her palm rubbed against Trixie’s belly, making Trixie purr happily. She wiggled around on her back, enjoying the feeling of her hand against her stomach. And it only got better when Adagio started to scratch her belly, making Trixie laugh softy, enjoying the attention. "Actually, I have an idea," Adagio said, pausing the bellyrubbing. Trixie meowed and whined. "Why did you stop? Nuuu..." But her whining came to a halt when she saw Adagio hold a piece of string in front of her. All thoughts stopped as Trixie rolled herself back up to sit up, eyeing the piece of string. She flinged it over her head, causing Trixie to slowly stand on her hind legs to try and reach up and snatch it. Her paws kept swatting at it, but she couldn't nab it. She tried to swat at it again, but still no luck. Adagio held it up higher, making Trixie whine and try and paw at it some more. "Come on, you can do it," Adagio teased. Trixie pouted at her, but she still kept swatting at it. Eventually Adagio just let her have it, and Trixie clinged to it like it was her favorite toy and wouldn't let go. "Hey Trixie? I got something better for you." She reached into her bag and pulled out a small ball of yarn, some that she had grabbed to do some knitting later on in the day. But now? She plopped it in her lap, and gestured for Trixie to come up. The little ponecat carefully jumped up to the edge of the bench and crawled into her lap again, grabbing the ball of yarn. She fiddled around with it, feeling the fuzzy strings that were all neatly wrapped up in a ball. As she played with the yarn, Adagio just smiled and scratched Trixie's back. She could feel her body vibrating and purring, enjoying more of the attention she was given. But eventually Adagio just picked her up and turned her body around so she could hold Trixie in her arms. At this point, Adagio was cradling Trixie in her arms like a baby, or a puppy. Trixie stirred around in her arms a few times, but Adagio didn't mind. She was trying her best to keep her cradled safely so she wouldn't drop her. And she couldn't deny how adorable she was as she wiggled in her grasp. "You're so adorable..." With a single hand, she began to lightly rub her belly, feeling the floof against her tender skin. As she rubbed her belly, she could hear some soft purring coming from the fluffy ponecat. Trixie purred contently, snuzzling Adagio’s chest. “I wuv you Dagi.” Adagio cooed. “Oh, I love you too.” She pet her head again, and then teased her with a boop on her nose, making Trixie's face scrunch up. Trixie’s other response was hissing at her. “Oh? Someone doesn't like boops?“ “Nuuu...” Trixie said with some overdramatic. This only made Adagio smirk with evil. Teasingly, she booped her nose again, emitting that same desperate hissing noise as before. “Hehe,” Adagio giggled. “I'll boop you... Imma boop your nose!" "Nuuu..." Trixie's face scrunched up from another boop to the nose. "Hehe, okay, I'll stop," Adagio laughed, petting Trixie's ears. Trixie made a silly noise when Adagio kept petting her, she was in pure heaven from all of the attention. "Is my little ponecat happy?" Adagio smirked, rubbing her belly some more. "Yes," Trixie squeaked. "Just one thing... Adagio? Adagio?" "Adagio? Adagio?" Adagio's eyes jolted open. She wasn't petting Trixie now. She was in bed, curled up under the covers next to her girlfriend. And Trixie wasn't a pone. She was that same cute teenage girl she had fallen in love with. "Adagio? Are you okay? You were talking in your sleep, and I think you were trying to pet me like I was your cat." Adagio's cheeks went red, and she chuckled a bit. "S-Sorry... I was dreaming about fluffy cats." "Uh... huh," Trixie nodded. "Are you thinking of adopting one?" "... maybe. I don't know," Adagio said quickly. "I just think they're cute." Trixie just smiled and moved herself closer to her girlfriend, nuzzling her cheek. "Yeah..." Adagio smiled as her girlfriend moved herself closer. Leaning closer, she nuzzled her back, sighing happily as she cuddled her girlfriend. Whether it was a fictional cat in her dreams, or human in real life there was one thing she couldn't deny; Trixie was adorable. > BONUS: Taking Care Of A Ponecat > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Adagio opened the front door of the penthouse carefully as she could. She was still cradling her new little ponecat with one arm, trying to keep her safe. Trixie stirred a few times, but thankfully not with any danger of falling out of her grasp. The Siren simply smiled as she kept her close. "Don't you worry about a thing my little sweetie," Adagio cooed, before setting Trixie down on the couch. "We will get you back to normal. But until then..." Adagio said, going for the fridge. "Does Trixie want some milk?" Trixie squeaked. "Yis." "Coming right up sweetie." She pulled out a carton of milk and poured some into a little bowl. Once the milk was back in the fridge, she walked over to the couch and set out some paper towels on the little coffee table underneath the bowl of milk. And carefully, the ponecat was lifted and set on the coffee table where she could walk again. Trixie sniffed the milk, and soon she was happily drinking from the bowl, all the while Adagio sat back on the couch, trying to think over the current situation. Her girlfriend was now a pony/cat hybrid. A very adorable hybrid, no doubt, but this was still... it was... words couldn't be made to describe this situation. At least, not that Adagio could find any. "So, um, sweetie? Trixie, do you feel any... different?" Trixie stopped mid-drink and licked at her paws, cleaning them up. When she was finished she looked back at Adagio with an unsure face. "I... I don't think so. I mean, I don't feel like my insides are tearing me apart, so that's good," Trixie said, confused. Adagio softly pet her ears, hearing her purr again. "So do you not feel any different?" "Well, it does feel a little weird to be a mammal instead of..." Trixie purred softly as Adagio pet her again. "... oh right! It does feel a little weird to be a mammal now." "Well don't you worry. We're going to find a way to get you back to normal, I promise," Adagio softly said, petting her some more. The ponecat purred some more, and leaned into Adagio's hands as she continued to give her affection. "Thank you," Trixie cooed. "Oh, it's no problem sweetie," Adagio softly smiled. Trixie eventually finished her drink, and she was left with a messy face. Until she licked her face clean, and even at her paws. "Oh dear. That's a bit of a mess. Trixie, I know you just got home and all, but if I'm going to take you to bed, I need to clean you up." Trixie's face drooped. Oh no. "I gotta give you a bath. "Nuuuuuuu!" Trixie pleaded as Adagio picked up the ponecat before she could even flee. "Trixie, come on, I have to clean you," Adagio said, chuckling as she took her upstairs. Trixie squirmed in her arms, trying to get out of her grip. But she couldn't. Adagio had a tight grip, thankfully not enough to hurt her, but she wouldn't be running. "Trixie, this will go a lot faster if you just cooperate." "Nuuuuuuu!" Adagio rolled her eyes. "Come on..." Trixie kept squirming as she tried to get away, but it was no use. Adagio managed to get her into the bathroom, and she soon closed the door. She set Trixie down, but immediately she climbed up a shelf reaching to the top, trying to hide. "Trixie, you're going to have to get cleaned up eventually. This can go faster if you don't fight," Adagio said, a little annoyed. She turned on the faucet in the bathtub, checking the temperature. Wouldn't want it to be too cold or hot, just needed it nice and warm. Once she determined it was okay, she pulled out some shampoo she had tucked away in a cabinet, and now all she had to do was get Trixie. "Trixie, come on," Adagio said, trying to reach for her. Trixie just batted her hands away with her paws, hissing at her. "Hey. Don't you hiss at me," Adagio said, putting her hands on her hips. "We can do this all night you know." Trixie tried to climb down from the shelf, but Adagio moved just in time and grabbed her. "Nuuuuuu..." Trixie begged as Adagio moved her towards the tub. Now Trixie was now using all four limbs to avoid being shoved into the tub, pleading with mercy. Her paws were now trying to hold on tight as Adagio kept trying to push her into the tub. "No no no no no no please!" "Trixie, come on, it's just water, it's fine," Adagio said. "But I don't want to be bathed!" Adagio held her head. How was she going to get Trixie to get in that tub? But wait a minute; she had an idea... "Alright, how about this. Trixie, if you can cooperate with me, I will give you some fish before we go to bed." "Feesh?" Trixie's ears perked. "Yes, I'll give you some fish, if you will cooperate with me," Adagio said, calm, but stern. Trixie's ears flopped. There was no winning this situation. She had to be put in that awful tub with all of that water. "Hey, it's okay," Adagio whispered, slowly pushing her down until Trixie's legs just gave up and she splashed into the tub. "... well that works too. Now lets get you cleaned up." Trixie's ears flopped as she pouted, but Adagio soon came back around. "Trixie, I promise, I can make this quick. Just cooperate with me, okay?" The ponecat didn't reply, but she did purr when Adagio petted her again, scratching behind her ears. Soon some soap came down and she started running it through the wet ponecat's fur, trying to scrub at every little spot she could. Her ears, her legs, her belly, her tail, everywhere. She was 100% covered in soap. "Now lets see about making sure that's all the way through," Adagio muttered to herself, rubbing her fingers through the ponecat's fur to make sure everywhere got clean. Trixie still didn't like the feeling of being splashed into the water, but at the very least, she would have a fish to look forward to. "Almost done Trixie, you're doing good," Adagio said, patting her head. The last bits of soap were removed from her fur, and Adagio picked up the ponecat and set her down on a towel before wrapping her up in one to dry her fur. Trixie felt more happy being out of the tub, even more so when the towel began to dry her down. "And now for the hairdryer," Adagio said, picking up her hairdryer. She ran the dryer all over Trixie's body to finish until she had finally gotten her completely clean. Until Trixie's fur floofed up in a poof! "Heh, don't worry sweetie, I'm sure your fur will calm itself back down eventually," Adagio said, before picking up Trixie. "Now can I have my feesh?" "Oh, I didn't forget," Adagio said. Reaching on the countertop, she pulled out some of the sushi she had saved from earlier and gave it to Trixie who snatched it with her paws. "Good kitty." Eventually as the night went on, Trixie and Adagio both were getting sleepy. Once Adagio had gotten her PJs and brushed her teeth and rinsed, she reached for her ponecat and carefully cradled her upstairs to her bedroom. "It's okay... shhh..." Adagio whispered as she cradled her little ponecat. Carefully she set Trixie down on a pillow and let her move around in a circle to find a nice place to lay, until she finally curled up. Trixie softly meowed as she cuddled up, and Adagio smiled again. She was too precious. She gave a soft kiss to her forehead and hugged her ponecat again, before curling up underneath the blankets for the night. But as she was about to curl up, she felt something pawwing at her shoulder. It was Trixie, looking at her with floppy ears and a sad face. "Sweetie, what's wrong?" "Dagi, can I just cuddle next to you, please?" Trixie begged. "Just like always?" Adagio wasn't about to deny that one bit. With a smile, she scooped up Trixie and held her close, letting her cuddle next to her. And taking some warmth from the fuzzy blanket she pulled over the both of them. She may not have been human now, but she was going to get her back to her human state eventually. For now, it was just enjoying the comfort of an adorable little fuzzy creature. "Goodnight Trixie," Adagio whispered. "Night Dagi..." Trixie yawned. As the sun came into Adagio's bedroom, she slowly stretched her arms as she was ready to start a new day. Until she heard a tiny squeak come from her left side; and it didn't sound like a normal bed squeak. Turning her head, she was met with the sight of a little gray kitten, tail swishing as it looked at her with curious interest. Adagio immediately pulled herself up. "Awwwww... well hello there little guy," Adagio smiled before picking up the kitten. "Where did you come from?" The kitten meowed before licking at Adagio's hand, making her giggle. "Do you like him?" Trixie, a full grown human, stood in the doorway in her PJs as she walked towards her girlfriend. "Sweetie, I love him! Where did you find him?" "That's actually it. I got him for you," Trixie smiled as she sat down next to her. Adagio felt her heart start to warm up inside. "Y-You... you got him for me?" "Mmmhmm." Adagio's eyes slowly watered and she pulled her girlfriend in for the most joyful hug ever. She was giggling and crying at the same time, in a burst of pure joy. "Sweetie... I don't know what to say..." Trixie smiled and kissed her cheek. "Happy Birthday, Adagio." And the little kitten just rolled around in Adagio's lap, waiting for bellyrubs.
