She smiled and was considering how best to thank her marefriend when she heard an, "ooh! What's that?" Her eyes widened as the letter was enveloped in magic and started to escape her. Her hoof flew up but only managed to catch the very bottom edge of the letter, a small tearing sound and Rarity frowned as she came out with only a small sliver of the paper that said "jack" on it. "Now Sweetie Belle look at what you've done! My letter is now ruined! I mean that was my first love letter and now it's ruined! Really Sweetie Belle must you... Sweetie Belle?" She looked at her little sister who was just staring at the letter starting to look more and more upset. "Uh... I'm sorry Sweetie it's not that serious..." Sweetie Belle looked up and Rarity was taken aback when there was actual anger in her eyes. "Your love letter!? Your love letter!? From...!" Rarity frowned and then her eyes widened, she hadn't actually told Sweetie Belle her and Applejack were an item. "Oh dear, Sweetie me and Apple..." Sweetie Belle threw the letter at Rarity who spluttered slightly, too caught off guard to stop Sweetie Belle as she dashed out of the boutique, yelling, "I'm going to kill her!" Rarity stared a before she started to run after her. "Oh dear oh dear oh dear..." Admittedly Sweetie Belle wasn't going to actually try to hurt Applejack, and furthermore couldn't hurt Applejack. But it was going to be a very awkward scene for her poor beloved Applejack to deal with without back up. Though she had to say she was somewhat flattered that Sweetie Belle's anger had given her enough strength to outpace her so thoroughly. Sweetie Belle barreled through Ponyville, almost knocking a few things over in her haste, she could apologize for any inconvenience later, at the moment she was set on one thing, and one thing only! She saw the farmhouse in the distance, she was pointed right towards the house until she looked over and saw the small flash of red hair in the orchards, whirling to the side and charging after that red tail, the target of her fury. *----* Rarity burst into the kitchen of the farmhouse panting heavily to a very surprised Applejack. "Well hello there sugar cube... Somethin' the matter?" Rarity looked around her eyes bulging for a few moments not seeing any signs of a scene. Panting she looked back at Applejack. "Uh... Where's Sweetie Belle?" Applejack tilted her head to the side slightly and gave a small shrug. "Uh... I think she went out to the orchard to find..." Apple Bloom flew into the kitchen hiding behind Applejack's legs. "Applejack help! She's crazy!" Following close on her fetlocks was Sweetie Belle. Rarity managed, just barely, to grab the small ball of pure anger, both her and Applejack at a complete loss for what exactly was going on. "Sweetie Belle calm down! What are you doing!" Sweetie Belle glared up at her older sister. "Like you don't know! How could you do this to me!?" Rarity was at a complete loss for what to say or what her little sister was talking about. Applejack took a step forward, believing she was the only impartial creature in this kitchen so she would have to sort it out. "Now Sweetie Belle, what has you so worked up there?" Sweetie Belle managed to untangle a hoof from Rarity's attempts to restrain her and pointed a hoof at Apple Bloom. "She sent a love letter to Rarity! I'm her marefriend!" Rarity opened her eyes wide in surprise, as all the blood drained from Applejack's face. Rarity looked down at her little sister. "No darling, Applejack wrote that letter to me." Sweetie stopped squirming after a few moments. "What? No, Applebloom wrote that letter to me!" Applebloom nodded enthusiastically for a moment before stopping and looking at Applejack, everyone was looking at Applejack who was blushing brightly now. "I-I can explain Rarity..." Applejack's ears down as she backed up, glancing backward as she was busy looking for an escape. "I know how much you like the frou-frou things and... I'm no good at writing... And I found that letter out in the recycling so I didn't think Apple Bloom was going to use it..." Rarity started to slowly advance towards the farm pony, from behind whom Appebloom quickly skittered out from behind her besieged sister to hurry over to Sweetie Belle. Pausing for a moment before hesitantly nuzzling against her marefriend, who nuzzled back. Applebloom smiled, glad Sweetie Belle wasn't upset with her anymore, happy that Sweetie had parsed out the events and that she wasn't under one of the white ponies fury, her sister, however... Applebloom pointed over towards the door and Sweetie nodded, both of them sneaking as quietly as they could out of the kitchen, not wanting to draw the ire of Rarity. "Going to just find any old thing and write my name on it!? Trying to show me that you love me and it's just a lie! You-" *----* Big Mac pushed the barn door open, smiling as he just finished his chores, but then reared back slightly, startled as he looked towards the farmhouse after hearing the loud crash from it. A few moments later he saw Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle leaving the kitchen happily, Apple Bloom smiling and Sweetie Belle veritably bouncing in her inimitable way. Big Mac pointed behind the two fillies and saying indignantly to them. "Bloom!?" Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle giggled as they glanced at each other and Apple Bloom smiled up at her big brother. "Rarity trouble." And they continued on their way. Big Mac looked up at the house, flinching at the sound of another crash, frowning slightly as he contemplated his options. He would die for his sisters, he would fight through Tartarus itself! But get between his sister and Rarity during a marefriend tiff? "Eeee-nope."
