Chapter 1
On the outskirts of Ponyville, there's a glow and from it, a tall red mare with long dark red mane, a sword for a cutiemark and is carrying a long green case and backpack. She stands on her hind legs but then falls over. "Whaa. A transformation world." she starts looking around and finding a pond she sees her reflection, "I'm a red horse and adorable." she spots Ponyville and walks towards it. "(This place is adorable.)"
Soon Pinkie Pie runs up to her and starts talking, "I never seen you before! Are you new? My name is pinkie pie. I'm so happy to meet you! I should throw you a party!"
"(Wow all in one breath.)" Pinkie pulls her party machine out and does her song and dance. The red mare just stares and watches. "(Joe and Jeramy would love to meet her.)"
Pinkie finishes, "So what's your name?" "
(Ok just got to say my name this is easy. I wish Sakura was here.) M-m-ma-chicka-Machika."
Pinkie is hopping up and down, "Hi, Machika. Where are you from?"
Machika stutters, "f-far away."
"Are you staying or just visiting?"
"V-v-visiting."
Pinkie gets more excited, "Why don't I show you around. Ooh, you should meet my bestest best friends." Machika nods. "Yeee let's go!"
The two walk across town, along the way Pinkie, greets everypony along the way while Machika remains silent, "(shes like the fusion of Joe's and Jeramy's weirdness with Sagi's eagerness to make a new friend. This is nerve wreaking.)"
They soon reach Rarity's boutique. "And here's my bestest best friend Rarity."
"Hello, darling. So Pinkie you made a new friend."
"Her name is Machika." Pinkie goes up to Rarity's ear, in her pinkie way. "She's not much of a talker."
"Come on in girls." Rarity lets them in, "Ooh idea please wait right here please."
Machika looks around the room, "(Wait she a dressmaker. Is she making me a dress, maybe this won't be so bad I'm a pony.)" after awhile Rarity comes back with a dress made for Machika. Soon she in the dress.
"How do you like it?" Rarity waits for an answer.
Machika's expression is blank. "(Err even as a pony I don't feel comfortable in a dress especially fancy ones like this one.)"
"Um well, do you like it? Is something wrong?" Rarity is getting nervous.
"(What am I supposed to say? I don't know anything about dresses I can barely say my name.)" Machika face is still blank.
"You don't have to say anything just nod." Machika remains still as Rarity waits. "Hmm oh, I see you are just scared to give a critique. Oh, I'll hold it for now in till you can find the courage to tell me your honest opinion."
"(Now I feel bad. I really need to overcome this shyness.)"
After leaving the boutique Machika and Pinkie head to sweet apple archers, "And here is Sweet Apple Archers where the Apple family lives."
Applejack comes to greet them, "Hi there is this a new friend of yours Pinkie Pie?"
"Yep, this is Machika. She on the quiet side."
"Well pleasure to meet you Machika. A friend of Pinkie Pie is a friend of mine." Applejack tips her hat.
"(Then you must be friends with everyone in town.)"
"Here at sweet apple archers we grow the finest apple and make the best apple treats you ever try." Applejack bucks a tree. "Wanna try?"
Machika goes to a tree and gives it a punch causing the apples to fall. Pinkie looks in amazement, "Wow that was amazing!"
"uhh yeah." Applejack tries it too but no apples fall. She tries harder and fails again. She over and over with no success, meanwhile Machika with seemingly no effort is able to knock apples down with a single hit with every tree. "Let us go inside and have some snacks."
Inside they are eating apple snacks when the crusaders walk in. Apple bloom first to speak, "Hey sis hey Pinkie Pie, who's this?"
Applejack "this is Machika she visiting Ponyville."
"(kids my nerves are bad enough.)"
Scootaloo looks out the window, "Hey why is Big Mac punching a tree?" they look outside and see Big Mac putting all his strength into punching a tree, he knocks an apple down and feels proud.
Applejack looks out towards her brother, "Huh, I guess he must have been watching us."
"Yeah, Machika is so strong that she can easily harvest the apples by punching the trees." Pinkie jumps onto her hind legs and throws air punches.
The trio of kids, "wow."
Sweetie Belle looks at the red mare's cutiemark, "Look her cutiemark is a sword."
Scootaloo grabs an umbrella and uses it as a sword, "Maybe her special talent is fighting."
Applebloom points at the green case, "Ooh is that box how you carry your sword?"
"(so the marks on their flanks represent their talent, huh.)" Machika takes out her case, holds it up and the case magically turns into a ribbon and wraps around Machika's arm. Inside is a claymore. The trio and Pinkie oooh in wonder.
Sweetie Belle asks, "Is it magic?" Machika nods.
Scootaloo goes up to the silent mare, "I can't wait to tell Rainbow Dash! She would love to know there another athlete."
Applebloom goes up to her too, "I love to hear about any stories about your adventures." the crusaders start asking a bunch of questions. Machika keeps the same expression since meeting Pinkie.
Pinkie explains to the crusaders, "Machika is a pony of few words. Better just bring her to Rainbow, I wanted them to meet anyway. Bye Applejack." Machika nods to Applejack.
Near the pond, Rainbow Dash is laying on a cloud when she spots the mares, "Hey guys. Who's this?"
Pinkie puts her arm around her new friend, "This is Machika she visiting Ponyville."
Scootaloo starts making warrior poses, "She's a strong silent warrior that fights evil and to protect the innocent."
"(Well she not wrong.)"
Rainbow dash flies up to the silent warrior, "Is that right?" Machika nods. "Ok, arm wrestle now!" Machika and Rainbow Dash start to arm wrestle. Rainbow dash struggle to try and push Machika's arm with no progress.
"(I kind of feel bad.)" Rainbow Dash is using her whole body to trying to just budge the arm a little. Machika gently moves her arm pining Rainbow dash.
Rainbow Dash is trying to prosses what happened, "Ok your strong but are you fast?"
"(She might actually have a chance here, I'm still getting used to this form.)" the two get ready to race.
Pinkie is acting as the referee, "Ready, get set, go!" both racers take off.
Rainbow dash moves swiftly through the air, while Machika is struggling running in the form she's in. "(she pretty fast. She might actually beat me in my real form in a long-distance race. This is fun)."
Rainbow Dash is in front of Machika looking back towards her. "Is something wrong? Your running weird." Rainbow Dash waits for an answer, "living up to the silent bit, huh." she then crosses the finish line.
Pinkie calls it, "And the winner is Rainbow Dash!"
Rainbow Dash celebrates, "No surprise there. If you want a rematch just say so."
Pinkie Pie leads her new friend to Twilight's house, "And here's Twilight's castle."
"(a princess I wonder if she like Yett?)"
Pinkie pie takes Machiks to her best princess friend, "Hi Twilight, hi Spike meet my new friend Machika."
Twilight greet the tall mare, "Nice to meet you Machika."
Pinke goes to her friend's ears, "she very quiet even more than Fluttershy."
Spike says, "Wow that's saying something."
Machika looks at Spike, "(He's is the cutest dragon I have ever seen. This entire world is adorable.)"
Twilight asks, "So do you like Ponyville so far?" Machika nods. After some walking around the castle, they reach the library.
"(There's is more books here than the library in my neighborhood.)"
"You can check out any book you want." Twilight grabs some books.
"(Might be a problem since the dimensional crystal doesn't translate written language.)"
Pinkie pulls out her own books, "There are also coloring books."
Spike grabs some of his comic books, "There are even comic books."
"(Really. I wonder if there's a pony version of Spiderman and maybe they have manga too.)"
Twilight offers some books, "Is there anything you are interested in?" Machika points to Spike's comics. "Hehe oh, comic books are you sure you don't want an actual book." the book princess tries to hide her disappointment. Machika shakes her head. "Well ok then."
"let me get my favorites." Spike runs off.
Machika looks to him and smiles. "(So cute. It also is going to be fun to get to talk with a fellow comic book fan, well listen.)
Rainbow Dash burst in. "Twilight Fluttershy in danger! She went to the Everfree forest to help Zokora when a hydra attacked." Twilight, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie and Machika runoff.
Fluttershy is backing away from the creature, "Hello Mr. Hydra, I'll just be on my way home." hydra Roars. "Eeh."
"Don't worry Fluttershy we are coming!" Rainbow dash flies around the hydra's heads.
Twilight is directing the others, "While Rainbow is distracting the Hydra, Pinkie you get Fluttershy to safety, I'll find a way out."
Pinkie stands try to get to her friend, "What about Machika?" "
Rainbow points to the red pony, "She's right over there next to the hydra."
Twilight cries out, "What is she doing!?"
Machika faces the creature, "Hey Hydra!" the hydra turns it's heads to Machika and roars. Machika responds with a very intense stare that scares the hydra to submission. "There now behave and leave the ponies alone." The hydra shakes its heads and leaves. The other ponies are in a gasp beside Pinkie who's cheering and waving flags.
Fluttershy greets her savior, "Thank you, umm?"
Pinkie joins her friends, "This is my new friend Machika she's very very shy."
"Oh can relate." Fluttershy gives a smile.
Rainbow Dash is dumbfounded, "Shy, shy! She just stared down at a hydra! I know Fluttershy did the same thing with a dragon but now we have a pony who can stare down a hydra!"
Machika gets noticeably more nervous than usual. "I hope she is not freaked out by me I don't want to lose a potential friend.)"
Pinkie looks angry at Rainbow, "Rainbow you're making her even more nervous."
Twilight now relaxed, "Well dealing with animals and monsters is different than dealing with ponies."
"I can context to that." says Fluttershy.
"Sorry I'm just in awe." the Rainbow mare goes to the red one, "Then again what should I expect from the silent warrior."
"(Good she still wants to be my friend.)
After stopping by Zecora they head to Fluttershy's cottage. Fluttershy lets her friends in, "Here's my house I hope you like it." Machika looks around and sees all the animals.
Pinkie asks, "What do you think." Machika has a big smile on her face. She runs over to the animals.
Pinkie jumps in joy, "Yay this is the happiest I have seen her."
Fluttershy is also glad, "Another animal lover."
Twilight sits down, "She seems to calm down."
Pinkie sits down next to Twilight, "So now your relaxed maybe we can finally talk."
Machika is hugging Harry the bear. "yeah, I just get really nervous when I talk to new people or ponies."
Twilight is confused, " Wait, people?"
"Oh." Machika pulls a crystal out of her backpack. "This crystal sends me to different universes. Usually, I'm with my best friend Sakura but in this case, the crystal just brought me. We have no control over it."
Twilight is excitedly curious, "Where did you get such a thing?"
"It's a long story. Me and Sakura found ourselves in another world save the day and this crystal got us home. The adventure even gave us magical powers mine is more physical such as my strength and to control my aura. The crystal also allows me to speak with you but not read your language."
"Oh, so that's why you chose Spike comic books." book horse is taking notes,
"Well, I still enjoy comics." the bear hugger is now patting it.
Pinkie bends closer to her new friend, "So your actually human. Twilight actually met human counterparts of us through a magic mirror."
Birds land on the humans head, "Interesting, I actually met counterparts before Joe and Jeramy their counterparts were very similar just some powers difference."
Fluttershy serves tea, "Have you met any interesting animals?"
"Machika takes a sip, "Yeah this world has similar animals to mine but I have seen plenty of unique creatures across many different words."
Fluttershy is fascinated, "Do have any pets?"
"Not really unless you count the creatures I tamed but none of them stay with me." Machika starts glowing "Well I guess I'm on my way home. I'm glad to have met all of you, maybe next time we can talk some more next time and hopefully you can meet Sakura."
The ponies say their goodbyes, Rainbow gives a hoof bump, "Next time tell me stories of your adventures."
Pinkie starts hugging Machika. "I'll miss you."
"I'll miss you too and thank you for being my friend." Machika fades away.
