> Elemental! > by MlpHero > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Chapter 1: Element Aura > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Element Aura sat in a room with Sheva in front of him. “You’ve run from foster homes all around Equestria,” Sheva said. Element Aura looked at her with confused eyes. Why did she sound surprised? He’s been doing this for years! “I can take care of myself,” Element Aura said. “When you’re old enough,” Sheva replied. “Please give these ponies a chance.” Element Aura sighed. “Ok Sheva.” “This is Element Aura,” Sheva said. “He is twelve years old.” Element Aura looked at the pony that would be his foster mom. “Element Aura, this is Goldstar,” Sheva said. “Hello Goldstar,” Element Aura said trying not to be rude. “Don’t worry,” Goldstar said. “We’ll take good care of him.” Sheva leaned in to whisper something to Goldstar. “Oh, ok,” Goldstar whispered. “Alright Bye Element Aura,” Sheva said before leaving. “Bye Sheva,” Element Aura said back. > Chapter 2: New Beginning > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Element Aura followed Goldstar in the house turning to see Sheva had left. Element Aura looked around the house. Nothing to special about it, just normal household items and furniture. “Come on,” Goldstar exclaimed, “I’ll introduce you to the family,” she finished. A family of mix-max ponies Element Aura thought. Element Aura walked into the kitchen. “Everypony, this is Element Aura,” Goldstar said. Element Aura took note of the Ponies he would be staying with. 2 colts, 1 stallion, and 1 mare. Goldstar was about to say something else when the mare blurted out: “What kinda name is Element Aura?” Goldstar looked annoyed. “Now SilverHeart, What did we say about this?” How can she make fun of me with a name like that Element Aura thought. “Sorry about her Element Aura,” Goldstar said looking embarrassed. “Oh, it’s no worry Goldstar,” Element Aura replied. “Well any way, that’s Boltfire,” Goldstar said pointing at a bronze earth pony. “That’s Crimson Strike,” She continued, this time pointing at a crimson red earth pony. “And finally Platinum Moon,” she finished pointing at a platinum Unicorn. “Here Element Aura,” Goldstar said giving him a plate of food. “Thanks Goldstar,” Element Aura said. After Element Aura finished his meal, he ran up the stairs and ran into SilverHeart on accident. “Oh sorry!” Element Aura said. “Watch it!” SilverHeart yelled. “Oh, well excuse me princess!” Element Aura yelled back. “what do you want me to do, clean the bottom of your hoofs?” SilverHeart lit up her horn but eventually the magic died down. “Just stay outta my way,” SilverHeart said. Element Aura stuck his tongue out at her. “Hey, over here!” Somepony called. “Hey Boltfire,” Element Aura greeted. “Hey Ele—“ Element Aura cut him off. “No just call me Aura,” Boltfire corrected Himself. “Hey Aura,” He said. Element Aura looked at Boltfire for awhile and than asked, “um... what’s her problem?” He said pointing at SilverHearts room. “Oh, well she’s 14 and—“ he paused for a moment, than he leaned in, “—getting her Cutie Mark.” Element Aura looked confused. “Wait really, this late?” Boltfire nodded. “Hey but that’s not important because tomorrow we’re going on a field trip to Canterlot!” Element Aura jumped up. “Wait really?!” Element Aura asked excitedly. “Yeah!” Boltfire said. Element Aura started smiling. He started thinking that the princesses could tell him his purpose or even find his parents! > Chapter 3: Canterlot Secret > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- “Jeez, that was a long walk just to get to a school,” Element Aura said. Boltfire And Crimson Strike looked at him. “Yeah,” Crimson Strike said. “Don’t worry, Princess Twilight will teleport us right to the gates of Canterlot!” Boltfire said. They walked towards the door to get in. When they opened it, Element Aura saw many wonderful things, Mainly the fact that there were different creatures in the school. Dragons, Ponies, Hippogriffs, Yaks, And Griffons. Element Aura thought. Never thought I’d see them together. “Welcome to the School Of Friendship!” someone called. The Trio turned around to see a small purple dragon with green eyes and green spikes on his back. “Hi Spike,” Boltfire greeted. “Hey Boltfire,” Spike replied. Boltfire And Spike started talking about their Power Pony comics. “Ha, never gets old,” Crimson Strike said. “They’re always like this?” Element Aura asked. “Yep, always trying to see who has the best comics.” Element Aura thought about the comics they were talking about. “Oh, yeah, Power Ponies,” Element Aura said, “Those are super hero comics right?” Boltfire And Spike looked at him with wide eyes. “Wait you’ve never read anything of them?” Spike asked. “Well, not really,” Element Aura admitted. “Hey Spike, could you give me a tour of the school?” Element Aura asked. “Yeah, come on,” Spike said. “That was a great tour,” Element Aura said. “Thanks, I try my best,” Spike said. “Here,” Element Aura said taking out some bits. “Go buy yourself some Power Pony comics.” “Gee, Thanks!” Spike said looking happy. Element Aura turned his attention from Spike to the door. Well here goes nothing Element Aura thought. He opened the door to get into his classroom. He saw many ponies, including Twilight Sparkle and her friends, AppleJack, Fluttershy, Pinky Pie, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, And finally Starlight Glimmer. Wow Element Aura thought. He looked around until he saw Boltfire, who gestured for him to come up and sit by him and Crimson Strike. “Any word on the trip?” Element Aura asked. “Well—“ Boltfire leaned towards Element Aura, “—apparently Shining Armor is guiding us,” Boltfire whispered. wow, this day keeps getting better and better Element Aura thought, just as Shining Armor walked in. “Alright, here we go,” Twilight said before teleporting everypony in the room to Canterlot. Well, Boltfire wasn’t lying Element Aura thought. He found the tour really interesting. From learning about Nightmare Moon to the Elements Of Harmony. “Oh no,” Boltfire said looking nervous. Element Aura looked at him. “What’s wrong Boltfire?” Element Aura asked. “LightningStorm,” Boltfire whispered pointing towards a blue Pegasus with a lightning yellow mane. “What’s wrong with him?” Element Aura asked. “He always bullies and beats me up.” Element Aura looked at his bronze friend. “Why?” Element Aura asked. Boltfire looked back. “How in Luna’s Horn am I suppose to know!” When they finally reached the throne room, every creature got quiet. “Alright, Don’t be shy,” Shining Armor said. Shining opened the door and everyone walked in. “Greetings,” the three Alicorn princesses said. All the students bowed. Element Aura watched as most of the students, including Boltfire and Crimson Strike asked the three princesses questions. Element Aura thought about asking about his parents, but didn’t. They’re princesses, not parent trackers Element Aura thought. Just after Shining Armor announced they’d be leaving LightningStorm walked over to where Boltfire was. Oh no Element Aura thought. LightningStorm walked over and punched Boltfire so hard he flew back and landed on his back. “Hey!” Starlight called. All the creatures turned to see LightningStorm had punched Boltfire. Boltfire turned onto his chest and reached his hoof out towards Element Aura. LightningStorm looked at Element Aura. “Haha, What you need your fake family to stand up for you?” Element Aura got mad and decided to knock the ever living flight out of the Pegasus, but he needed a plan of escape. A hole, open window, anything would do. Eventually, he found a door, in the wall? Element Aura got really confused. Why was there a secret door in wall? But that didn’t matter. He grabbed a book from his saddle bag and walked over to LightningStorm. “Hey!” Element Aura said, giving LightningStorm just enough time to look at him before bringing the book down on his head, right where a horn would be. “Gee, Sorry about that,” Element Aura teased before running towards the door. He looked behind him to see that LightningStorm had gotten up and started flying after him. He opened and then slammed the door shut before LightningStorm could catch him. > Chapter 4: Elemental! > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Element Aura leaned back on the door holding it back. They tried everything from hitting as hard as they could to using magic, but the door still didn’t open. After feeling a little bit more comfortable, Element Aura walked down the corridor that he was standing in. “Hello?” He called out. “Element Aura.” Element Aura jumped. Had LightningStorm gotten through? “Element Aura, follow the light,” the voice called. A bunch of torches lit up. Element Aura walked in the direction of the lights while studying the engravings on the wall. They looked like the Elements. Not the Elements Of Harmony, but power Elements like Fire, Ice, Light, Earth, and a few more. “Ah, there you are Element Aura,” a grey Alicorn said. “Who—“ Element Aura paused, “who are you?” The Alicorn looked at him. “That’s not important right now,” The Alicorn said. “I’ve been watching you for a long time Element Aura,” The Alicorn said. “W-Watching?” Element Aura replied. “Oh, not like that,” He said. “I’ve been watching all of the good you’ve done.” Element Aura paused. Good? What good has he done? Then he thought about how he helped that elderly pony cross the road, or how he found a fillies toy bear, or countless other things. “I’m too old to take care of my powers,” the Alicorn said. “So I shall pass them on to you.” Element Aura paused. “Really?” “Yes Element Aura.” Element Aura walked towards a small cyan circle in the ground and stood in the middle of it. “Okay, so now what?” Element Aura asked. “Just say my name,” The Alicorn said. “What is it?” Element Aura asked. “Elemental.” Element Aura looked confused. “Really?” The Alicorn nodded. “Ok, Elemental.” A jolt of magic hit Element Aura and knocked him to the ground. “Ahh!” Element Aura screamed, but there was no pain. He blacked out. When he came to, he saw Elemental was no were to be found. he’s not important right now Element Aura thought. now I just gotta find an exit. Element Aura looked around until he found a hole in the wall. As he walked over to it, he saw his reflection in a small puddle. His red coat and black mane with a blue stripe through it had been replaced with a coat and mane so white, it looked like it was made of light, actually it might have been. He even had a horn and wings! Sweet Celestia he thought. But for now it didn’t matter, he had to get out. He crawled through the hole until he found another room with a portal. He thought about it and jumped through. > Chapter 5: Spells > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Element Aura flew out of the portal into some bushes. “Ow...” He said weakly. He looked up at the night sky. has it really been that long? Element Aura thought. He got up to go home and then he realized something, he was still an Alicorn. If they see me like this, they’ll think I’m a princess Element Aura thought. He did his best to sneak back home, even going as far as to trick small filles and colts. When he got home, he ran into another problem, how could he get in? He noticed Boltfire in the kitchen. Well there’s no going back now Element Aura thought. He smashed a piece of paper the had the words Don’t Scream!! onto the kitchen window. “Ah Ah!” Boltfire screamed. “It’s me, it’s Aura!” Boltfire backed back. “A... Aura?” “Yes!” Boltfire went to the window, looked around and said “meet me in the back.” Element Aura jumped the fence and went into the backyard. “Oh Celestia, where’ve you been?!” Boltfire asked. “I don’t know, one minute I’m talking to an old Alicorn, next I’m an Alicorn myself.” Boltfire looked confused, than eyed his horn. “So... What kinda magic can you do?” Boltfire asked. “Magi— Bolt I don’t even know how to use this thing!” Element Aura yelled. “Hmm, maybe we can test it,” Boltfire suggested. “Alright.” Boltfire went into the house and picked up a few spell books. “Alright, here’s a simple one, Levitation.” Element Aura looked at the book. “Alright lets try it.” The horn lit up. Element Aura focused on an apple. A small magic field surrounded the apple. “Come on Aura,” Boltfire encouraged. The apple lifted off the ground. Element Aura moved it around until he got the hang of Levitation. “Woo!” Boltfire yelled excitedly. They tried more spells until they got to more advanced spells. “Ok, maybe we should try something else,” Boltfire said. “Alright, What do you suggest?” Element Aura asked. Boltfire looked at his wings. “Well...” Element Aura turned his head to his wings. “You can’t be serious.” Element Aura got on top of the tall tree that sat in the yard. “You sure about this?” Element Aura asked. “Of course!” Boltfire replied. “Just jump outta the tree and flap your wings!” Element Aura’s heart pounded. “Um, Ok...” Element Aura jumped And started flapping his wings. He started falling. “Ahh!” Element Aura screamed before hitting the ground. “You ok, why aren’t you talking?” Boltfire asked. “Ow.” > Chapter 6: Meeting The Princesses > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Boltfire helped Element Aura into the house. “You Alright, do you need water?” Boltfire asked. “No.” They climbed into Boltfires room window via latter. “Boltfire, time for dinner!” Someone called. “Must be mom,” Boltfire said. Element Aura got up to leave. “Wait, before you leave, tell me who that Alicorn is,” Boltfire said, “maybe I can find out why this happened.” Goldstar called again. “His name was Elemental,” Element Aura said. Another bolt of magic struck Element Aura, turning him back to his normal color. “Well now I know how to change from form to form,” Element Aura said. Goldstar opened the door. “Element Aura, I thought we lost you!” Goldstar yelled while running over and hugging him. “No ma’am,” Element Aura said. “Come on, dinner’s ready!” Goldstar said. Everyone, except SilverHeart, was happy to see Element Aura. “I thought you ran away!” SilverHeart blurted out. Goldstar sighed, “What Am I going to do with you?” Just than, there was a knock on the door. I’ll get it,” Platinum Moon said. He walked over to the door and opened it. Element Aura leaned over to see what was going on. He saw two Royal Guards. “Oh, hello,” Platinum Moon said. “Hello, We’re hear for Element Aura, Boltfire, And Crimson Strike,” one of the Guards said. “Um, ok,” Platinum Moon said. “Hey boys, come here,” Platinum Moon said. “We’re here,” Crimson Strike said. “The Royal Guard is Here for you three.” Oh no Element Aura thought. The three got onto the carriage they would be riding in. “What did you two do this time?!” Crimson Strike asked. “We didn’t do anything!” Boltfire replied. “Then how did we end up in this situation?” Crimson Strike asked. “How are we suppose to know?” Element Aura said. By this time the carriages had landed. “Alright, prepare yourselves, mentally,” Crimson Strike said. “Bolt, stop sweating so hard!” Element Aura whispered. “I can’t help it!” Boltfire replied. “Element Aura,” someone called. Element Aura looked up to see Twilight, her friends, Shining Armor, and the Three princesses. “Do you know why you’re here?” Celestia asked. “N...no,” Element Aura replied. “It’s ok, you’re not in any trouble,” Cadence said, “just tell us what happened in the cave.” Element Aura froze. “I can do better than that, but can tell your Guards to leave, I don’t feel comfortable” He said. Celestia gestured for the Guards to leave. Elemental!” The bolt struck him, turning him into his new form. “This happened,” Element Aura said. “What In tarnation,” Applejack said. “That’s incredible,” Starlight added. “Thanks I, Guess,” Element Aura replied. “You never told me you could do that!” Crimson Strike said. “Hey, I never got around to it,” Element Aura said. He turned to face the princesses, “but I don’t understand, why do I have to say Elemental—” the bolt struck him again. “—As I was saying, way that name?” Element Aura asked. “Well, Elemental was trusted to look after the elements, Earth, Fire, Air, Grass, Poison, Dragon, Magic, And many more,” Luna said. Twilight picked up a book and levitated it to Element Aura. “Hmm, Elementals guide to elemental spells,” Element Aura read. “You’ll need to read this in order to use his powers,”Twilight said. “None of us can use those spells,” Rarity said. “Ok, I’ll read it back and forth,” Element Aura said. “Guards, take them home,” Celestia said. > Chapter 7: A Hero Within > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Element Aura and his brothers walked to school with high spirits, after all Element Aura just got powers and they just talked to the rulers of Equestria. Element Aura felt someone push him from behind. “Well look at what the cat dragged in,” a familiar voice said. “LightningStorm.” Element Aura said. LightningStorm let out a booming laugh. Just than, Boltfire charged into LightningStorm, knocking him to the ground. “I’m done being weak!” Boltfire said while punching LightningStorm. One of LightningStorm’s friends tackled Boltfire, allowing LightningStorm to get up. “Elemental!” Element Aura yelled, transforming into his Alicorn form and then using a strong magic push to throw LightningStorm and his friends back. Oh no, what have I done Element Aura thought. “Come on, we gotta move,” Crimson Strike said grabbing Element Aura. The Trio ran down the road and hid in an alleyway. The three were breathing heavily. “Hey Aura,” Crimson Strike said, “what kinda magic did you learn?” Element Aura was still focused on what he had just done he didn’t notice Boltfire grabbing a trash lid. He felt Boltfire throw the lid at him and he used a new spell, Fire blast, to melt it instantly. Boltfire and Crimson cheered. The three ran home with a good idea, to fight evil. The Trio ran into the attic. Crimson Strike picked out an outfit to hide his identity. They also picked up on some new fighting moves. “Hey guys, look!” Element Aura said using the Element of Magic. “Is that the CMC?” Boltfire asked. “Looks like it,” Crimson Strike said. “Well team, are we ready?” Element Aura asked. They put their hooves into a circle and all yelled “Elemental!” “I see’em!” Boltfire said. “Hey Boltfire why did you only get a body suit and not a mask?” Crimson Strike asked. “Masks limit vision,” Boltfire replied. “Hey, lets focus on the matter at hoof!” Element Aura reminded. “Hey, one of the wheels from their cart came off!” Boltfire said, “and they’re getting closer to the bridge shortcut to Canterlot!” Element Aura looked up. “And they’re being hightailed by somepony!” Element Aura pointed out. “What’s the plan Aura?” Boltfire asked. “I’ll get The Cutie Mark Crusaders, you two take care of the hightailers,” Element Aura replied. Element Aura flew past and around many ponies on the bridge. “Help!” One of the CMC screamed. “That was Apple Bloom!” Crimson Strike said. “Hold on you three!” Element Aura yelled. The ponies followings them consisted of two ponies, 1 Unicorn and 1 Pegasus. The Unicorn shot a magic beam at the cart and sent it over the edge. “Guys, jump off me and take care of those two!” Element Aura said. Crimson Strike and Boltfire jumped off and Element Aura flew over and used the Elements of Water and Ice to catch the three fillies. He than used Levitation to pull them up. “You three okay?” Element Aura asked. “Yes,” Sweetie Belle replied. “That... was... AWESOME!” Scootaloo exclaimed. Element Aura looked up to see his brothers had beat the darkness out of the bad guys. “Who are they?” Element Aura asked. “We don’t know,” Scootaloo said. “Royal Guard here, clear the area...” a voice yelled. “Shining Armor,” Boltfire whispered. “Yeah, and the Royal Guard,” Element Aura replied, “come on, let’s go.” Boltfire and Crimson Strike got onto Element Aura’s back and rode him home. > Chapter 8: Fleeing Home > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Trio got home late. While in bed, Boltfire heard something down stairs and went to investigate. Element Aura didn’t think too much of it... until Boltfire ran up the stairs holding a bunch of food and water. “Guys, we gotta go!” Boltfire exclaimed. “Why?” Element Aura asked. “Mom, Dad, And SilverHeart were talking to a group of ponies who had pictures of us!” Boltfire said, “during the bridge.” Element Aura and Crimson Strike froze. “That’s why you needed a mask Boltfire!” Crimson Strike said. “We can’t worry about that now, come on!” Element Aura said opening a window. The Trio climbed out. “Elemental,” Element Aura whispered. “Where are we going to go?” Crimson Strike asked. “Canterlot.” Element Aura said, opening his wings and taking off. “Enemies, six o’clock!” Boltfire said. “I see’em!” Element Aura replied, “sharp turn coming!” Boltfire And Crimson Strike held on to Element Aura’s wings like their lives depended on it, which in this case, it probably did. “Bridge, up ahead!” Boltfire said. “And, more enemies ahead!” Element Aura replied. He came to a stop. Crimson Strike and Boltfire climbed off and started to surrender. Element Aura noticed this and felt a certain anger fill him. That anger activated another attack. A lot of orbs of different color surrounded him and he let out an explosion that sent everypony flying. “Ahhh! Boltfire And Crimson Strike screamed as they fell off the bridge. “Don’t worry, I got you!” Element Aura yelled using Levitation to save his brothers. “You guys ok?” Element Aura asked frantically. “Yeah,” Boltfire replied. “As long as I’m not dead,” Crimson Strike joked. “Come on, to Canterlot!” Element Aura said. > Chapter 9: New Enemy > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Trio arrived in Canterlot a few minutes later. Element Aura changed out of his Alicorn form and was exhausted. “Come on, hang in there,” Boltfire said. “How about you try flying with two twelve year olds on your back,” Element Aura replied tiredly. The three walked towards the gate. “Halt!” one of the Guards said. “They’re with us,” Luna said. The Guards went to attention. “We are expecting you three,” Luna said. The Trio followed Luna into the castle. “What’s with all of the decorations?” Element Aura asked. “It’s the Grand Galloping Gala,” Luna answered. “The Grand Galloping Gala?” Element Aura asked. “Yeah, it’s a big fancy ball held every year to celebrate the completion of Canterlot,” Boltfire said. “Usually all the high class ponies attend,” Crimson Strike added. “Oh,” Element Aura replied. “Sister, they’ve arrived,” Luna said. “Thank you,” Celestia replied. “I bet you’re wondering what is going on,” Cadence said. “Yes ma’am,” Element Aura replied. “Well,” Celestia paused, “there’s an organization out there call The MPF, Magic Power Foundation.” Crimson Strike looked up. “Magic Power F... Foundation?” Crimson Strike said shaking. “What’s wrong Crimson?” Element Aura asked. “That... that place did painful experiments on me, and... and,” Crimson Strike started crying. “They broke my horn!” Crimson Strike yelled. Crimson Strike bursted into tears. Element Aura walked over and hugged him. “It’s okay, they won’t hurt you again,” Element Aura said. “Pr... Promise?” Crimson Strike looked at him. “Promise,” Element Aura replied. “What should we do?” Boltfire asked. “You three will stay here,” Cadence said. “Ok,” Element Aura said bowing. “Wait,” Celestia said. The Trio turned to face her. She pulled out three golden tickets. “You three are invited to The Grand Galloping Gala,” She announced. Crimson Strike got happier. Boltfire And Element Aura chuckled. “Thank you,” Boltfire said. > Chapter 10: The Grand Galloping Gala > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Trio got dressed for the gala. Element Aura remembered the organization the princesses mentioned. MPF Element Aura thought. Were they the ones at the house and on the bridge? “Hey Aura, it’s time,” Crimson Strike said. “Coming,” Element Aura replied. “Who else is coming?” Element Aura asked. “Well Twilight and her friends, Some of the students from school, our friends Gallus the Griffin, Ocellus the Changeling, Silverstream the Hippogiff, Sandbar the Pony, Smolder the Dragon, and Yona the Yak, and a bunch of rich ponies,” Crimson Strike replied. “Oh, nice,” Element Aura said smiling. “Hey you two, it’s time!” Boltfire said. “Alright,” Element Aura replied. The three walked down the hallway towards the gala. There were decorations as far as the eye could see. “There’s Vinyl Scratch,” Boltfire said pointing at a white pony with sun glasses playing the music. “Her nickname is D.J Pon3,” Crimson added. They walked around, greeting everyone and introducing Element Aura to new Ponies. A few more minutes go by and the Princesses walk out. “Look, it’s Flurry Heart,” Boltfire said pointing towards Cadence holding a small filly. “Welcome every creature to the Grand Galloping Gala—“ Celestial was interrupted by sounds from behind the door. “What in tarnation?” Applejack asked. A guard flew through the doors and crash into the wall. “Elemental!” A voice called. A black Unicorn with a red mane walked into the room. “May we help you?” Cadence asked. The Unicorn smiled as he eyed Flurry Heart. “Well, she’s no Elemental, but she’ll do,” the Unicorn said. Element Aura ran behind the throne. The Unicorn teleported towards Cadence and raised his horn to attack. “No!” Shining Armor Yelled running as fast as he could. Element Aura teleported in front of the attack and blocked the attack. The two engaged in horn to horn combat. “You are strong, Alicorn,” the Unicorn said. The Unicorn teleported and he caught Element Aura off guard. Element Aura missed his attack and dug his horn into the ground. The Unicorn lifted Element Aura up with Levitation and threw him into Shining Armor. The Unicorn snatched Flurry Heart away from Cadence. Element Aura got and jumped and shot an Ice spell at the Unicorn, but he teleported away. “Flurry Heart!” Cadence yelled. Everyone froze, Cadence was crying, Shining Armor ordered Guards and Search Parties, and Twilight and her friends were about to leave to go find Flurry Heart. Eventually all the ponies except the Mane six, the princesses, the Guards, Element Aura’s brothers, the student six, Ember, Thorax, and Pharynx, had left. Element Aura saw a map on the ground. He picked it up and looked at it. He looked up to see his brothers tending to the injured Guard. “What’cha got there?” Someone asked. He turned to see six creatures. “Oh, you must be Boltfire and Crimson Strike’s friends,” Element Aura said. “That’s right,” Silverstream said. “We didn’t know there was a fifth princess,” Gallus said. “Oh no I’m,” Element Aura paused, he looked over towards his brothers, Boltfire mouthed “you can trust them. “Can you six keep a secret?” Element Aura asked. “Yes,” Someone said. The group turned around. “Ember,” Smolder said. “Thorax, Pharynx,” Ocellus followed. “Care to tell us?” Thorax asked. “Sure, stand back,” Element Aura said. “Elemental!” Element Aura changed from Alicorn to Earth pony. “I’m Boltfire and Crimson’s brother,” He said. The Creatures awed at Him. He turned his attention to the map he had. “Sorry, I have to go,” Element Aura said. He ran towards Shining Armor and grabbed his helmet off his head. Everyone’s attention turned to Element Aura. He ran past the Mane Six. “Hey, stop!” Rainbow Dash said. He stopped and turned around. “Fluttershy, there are probably more injured guards down the hall, take care of them.” Element Aura jumped out of the window. “Elemental!” Element Aura flew away. “I won’t come back without Flurry Heart!” Element Aura said. > Chapter 11: Dark Matter > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Element Aura flew through the Everfree Forest, real late at night. He used the Element of Fire as a light. Maybe I could’ve used the Element of Light he thought. Just than, he got a Magic signal. He landed in a tree. He answered the signal, it was the Princesses. “Your majesties,” Element Aura said. Shining Armor came on. “Element Aura, you need to come home.” Element Aura looked at Shining Armor with confused eyes. “ I can’t do that Captain,” Element Aura said. “You have to come home, your parents will worry!” Shining Armor said. “They’ll understand I’m getting the Captain of the Royal Guard and Princess Cadence’s Foal back, also don’t tell them about my powers,” Element Aura replied. He cut the signal. Element Aura looked at the map. The X was on the Castle of The Two Sisters. I thought that place was abandoned Element Aura thought. He flew towards the X. He looked around for the castle. There Element Aura said in his mind. He landed on the ground near the castle. What happened here, it looks new? Element Aura asked. He pushed the door open. He looked around the new castle, which looked completely different from what everyone said. “Well, well, well, look who showed up,” a voice said. Element Aura looked up to see who it was. In front of him to see the Unicorn who stole Flurry Heart. “Who are you?” Element Aura asked. “My name is Dark Matter.” > Chapter 12: Element Aura vs Dark Matter > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Element Aura looked around to try and find Flurry Heart. Then he saw her... in a cage. “You want her? Well you’ll have to go through me!” Dark Matter said. Element Aura and Dark Matter charged into each other. Element Aura thought that if he did the same thing from before, the same thing would happen. So this time when Dark Matter got closer, Element Aura turned into water. Dark Matter fazed through him. Then he reshaped and attacked Dark Matter, catching him off guard. After more horn to horn combat, the two got into a headlock. Then Dark Matter teleported behind Element Aura, grabbing him with a choking spell. “You are a strong one, Alicorn,” Dark Matter said, “but not strong enough,” He said, tossing Element Aura into a pit. Dark Matter walked away. “You fought well, Princess.” Then Element Aura teleported out of the The pit. “I’m no princess,” He said. He grabbed Dark Matter, who teleported and crashed into a pillar. Element Aura looked up and saw Dark Matter towering over him. This is how I go, huh? Element Aura thought. Dark Matter stuck his horn straight at Element Aura’s abdomen. Splat! Element Aura opened his eyes, he looked down and saw he wasn’t impaled, and Dark Matter stopped just an apples length away from him. He looked at Dark Matter, who’s eyes were wide, as if he’d been impaled. Dark Matter turned his head and saw an slime stain on his back. Both Element Aura and Dark Matter looked up at Flurry Heart, who had a slime spell charged on her horn. Dark Matter looked at her with anger. When he turned back, Element Aura punched so hard he flew back and got stuck on the wall. He tried teleporting and it didn’t work, but he kept trying until the magic exploded. Element Aura used an Earth spell to protect Flurry Heart. He ran over and picked her up and teleported outside. The castle was covered in a magic field that turned back to it’s original form. “Come on, let’s get home.” Element Aura took off. “Flurry Heart!” Cadence called as Element Aura landed. “Mama!” She said back. Element Aura let her down and Cadence ran over and picked her up. “Elemental.” Boltfire and Crimson Strike ran over to Element Aura. “Aura, we were worried!” Crimson Strike said. “Well, I’m sorry,” Element Aura replied. Everyone crowded around Element Aura. “Are you ok?” Fluttershy asked. “Yeah, I’ll live,” he replied. “Well, looks like we got ourselves a bonafide hero,” Applejack said. “I guess we do!” Pinky Pie replied. Element Aura got up, Applejacks words repeating in his mind, you’re a bonafide hero, but then, three words repeated: Magic Power Foundation > Chapter 13: Magic Power Foundation > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Element Aura ignored the MPF that just flashed through his mind. “Maybe you three should get home,” Twilight said. “Ok, Element—,” Twilight cut him off. “No,I’ll send you home,” she said. With one horn flash and spark later, they were home. They knocked on the door, and as usual they were let in with hugs and kisses. At school, LightningStorm and his gang were no where to be found. Element Aura was sitting in class wondering about the MPF, but stopped. He looked at Crimson Strike, wondering how they broke his horn, but he didn’t ask, knowing he would break down. I wonder what kinda experiment they did to give him PTSD? he asked himself in thought. Twilight looked at him and shook her head, as if saying: “don’t think about it.” The Trio didn’t talk much after the events of last night, neither did the student six. Surprisingly, no attacks Element Aura told himself. He went through almost all of the classes, just Break, and then Applejacks class left. As he walked, he noticed a few ponies at the door, but didn’t think to much of it, until one pointed at him. After they got in the school, they walked right towards him. “Hello, Element Aura,” one of the ponies said, “we’re with the MPF, Magic Power Foundation.” This won’t end well he thought. “We’re here for,” Element Aura was about to say “me” but they said “Crimson Strike,” Element Aura paused. “Somepony call me—,” Crimson Strike stopped dead in his tracks. Twilight and her friends were coming from the break room, when they saw the MPF. One of them, a Unicorn, looked familiar, turned and saw them. “Alicorn magic,” he muttered. Element Aura looked Confused, why did it matter? The ponies laughed. “Hey Shadow Raider, care to take care of them?” The Unicorn nodded. “With pleasure,” he turned to face them. “Darkness Rise,” the Unicorn said. Boltfire And Spike hid Crimson Strike behind them. “Why him?” Gallus asked. “Because he is the one Elemental chose to be the hero,” Dark Matter replied. “Not so fast!” Rainbow Dash yelled. Element Aura got up and walked over to Crimson Strike. “Sweet Celestia,” He said, I thought they broke your horn,” Element Aura said pointing at the horn. “A broken horn—“ he stopped to take a breath, “—is still a working horn.” Everyone got up, all looking at Crimson Strike. Element Aura used Levitation to pick up the ashes of Dark Matter and put them into a jar. “Hey Aura?” Boltfire asked. “Yeah?” Element Aura replied. “What do you think will happen next?” Element Aura smirked, “well we still got an organization to take down, don’t we?” He replied. “You’re right,” Crimson Strike said. “And we’ll do it together.” The Trio put their hoofs in a circle, and all shouted “Elemental! > Extras > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is Story 1 in this series, the next Story, Elemental: The MPF, will be coming soon, also in case anyone wanted to know, yes this is a Shazam! parody.
