Twilight Sparkle watch helplessly as Starlight Glimmer uses the time spell and travel back in time, Spike picks up the crumbled scroll. "Twilight we can use this to stop her." Twilight's eyes widen when he says this.

"Great idea Spike!  We can catch up to her with Starswirl's scroll using the time spell and stop Starlight Glimmer before its too late! Let's go Spike," She says with determation. Her horn glows and the time portal appears, she quickly grabs Spike with her before they were suck up to the portal.

Elsewhere, on Earth, a group of friends are walking  out of the Comic Con. They had a great time together. They are dressed as the characters from The Four Swords, Plus manga and The Minish Cap manga that they read two weeks ago before the Comic Con. William is dress as the main Link or Green, Logan is Blue the hot head one, James as Shadow link whom was redeem at the end of the manga, Noah as Vio the smart and calm one, Elijah as Red the optimistic one, and Alex as Vaati the wind mage.  Although they are missing a few pieces of thier costumes. 

They are just talking and enjoying each others company when The boys stumbled on a strange merchant whom has a cloak and hoodie unable to be identified. 

Merchant look at the teens "Would you like to take a look at my items I have to sell? I'm 'sure' you won't be dissapointed." They offered. Noah frowned, looking at the merchant suspiciously.  

" Really", He deadpanned. "How do we know your not scamming us?"

The merchant ingores his glance." How about a deal, any items you choose will be only half the price all together." 

"That sounds like a fair deal right William"? Elijah spoke, hoping to buy something. 

William thought about the offer before making a decision."Sure why not. it's worth a shot." They browse through the items.

" Hey Blue's hammer! Just what I need!", Logan exclaimed. 

" Hey is that Red's Ice rod and Fire rod?" Elijah asked looking a bit excited.

" Vio's bow and arrows." Noah repiled. 

" Is that Green's Four Sword? " William asked. 

"Vaati's Cap!" Alex shouted.

" And Shadow's hat and his sword." James said. 

"Wait, how is it all together?" Noah ask suspiciously. 

" For all those items will only be a grant total of $50 dollars." The merchant answered. 

" Not bad, I'll pay." Willam offered. 

"You don't have to do that." Noah said." 

"Its fine; consider them as gifts from me." 

William paid the merchant and each of them grab thier items for thier cosplay and put them away.

"The flow of time is always cruel it's speed is different for each person, the timelines are suffering, please help them in this timeline..." The merchant announced oddly. 

"What do you mean?" James question in confusion. Then suddenly, thier just bought items begain to glow and all six teenage boys fell into the portal that sprung out of nowhere, slowing transforming and shrinking and then, the portal closes.

" May the heavens guide you in your quest," The merchant then disapears from the area.

William groan as he woke up, his first sight was a crystal table that  shows a strange map with ruined chairs circling the table. The map is showing strange black crystals that nearly covered the whole area with a strange castle that looms omniously. 

He look at the map in confusion before noticing something was off, he felt a bit shorter. He started rubbing his hair and felt his ears are different. His eyes widen and runs to a river showing his refection, he frozed on what he saw. His ears are long and pointed, eyes are blue instead of brown, and having blonde hair. Thankfuly, the clothes fit his new height along with his hat,  has a sword sheath with the Four Sword inside, a shield, and a strange bag on his belt. He also look a bit younger like five years younger.

Wanting to know if this is real or not, William pinched himself. Resulting a bit of pain as a result. " Ouch! nope, I felt that. It's not a dream," He muttered. " Then, that means, I'm Link! But, that's impossible, how did this happen?!"He started to panic not helping that his voice changed too." Ok! Keep calm, got to find the others," He tried to get his thoughts together and stay calm 'and find our way out of here,' The 'now' young boy starts to look around hoping to find a town nearby, as well as finding his friends as they, are not with him.

He spotted a pathway and follows it. Along the way he could hardly see any green, mostly dead wilted plants or very few trees.  The path leads to a town. The area looks dim, few of the houses are boarded up and the streets are empty, it's like a ghost town. He  hears something slamming shut perhaps a window or door? He turn around quickly, but doesn't see anyone at all at least not clearly. He could've sworn he saw something like a horse or was it a pony. 


Either way, he keeps searching for his friends, he needs to find the others quickly, he starts to shout thier names 
" Eiljah, James,Logan, Alex, Noah! Please answer me, anyone?!," 

There was no answer, just sounds of squeaking of a hung up sign. He felt lost and alone in a place that's unfamilar to. William begian to get scared, where is everyone? 

"What's all that hallerin' about?" A southern accent  with a female voice was pick up by William"s new long ears. 

He smiled knowing that someone can help him out. However, when he turned around to faced the person, talking to him, it wasn't what he was excpecting. Instead of a person, it was a pony. An orange pony that is a mare, wearing a lightish brown clothes, a blond mane and tail, a net hair on her tail and most of her mane, a black bow on her head, having green eyes and white freckles near the arch on her muzzle. 

Her eyes stared at him with weary eyes and spoke again "Who or 'what' in tarnation are you?!"

William stared at the orange mare in shocked. The mare stood beside a cart full of wooden barrels.  "You can talk?"

She rasied her eyebrow at him. "Of course I can talk. Why wouldn't I? Now I ask again 'Who' or 'What' are you?"

William sighed and answers" I'm William. I am a human but if you want to, you can call me Green if you like."

"William Green? Odd name. Names Applejack,  I work here in Sweet Apple Arces and  helpin' ponies who are stoppin' the war,"The now named Applejack explained.  She went back to work, moving a barrel to the cart.

"A war, by who?"He asked, wondering whats going on before he heard her sigh.

"King Sombra. When the Crystal Empire appeared, he took over the empire and enslaved the crystal ponies, forcing them to fight in 'his' war against Princess Celestia. Everypony has contributed to the war, helping poines in need, and soldiers fighting against the tyrant king."

William listens and felt sorry for her, war is not an easy topic as well as the pain and destrution war brings. It reminded him of wars that happened in the past, especially War World II he shuddered, it's something he won't forget about after learning about it in school. Perhaps, helping her would help find his friends.

"Well, is there anyway for me to help you?" he offered.

Applejack look at him in surpise."Really? you would help why?"

"Because, I know how bad wars can be and war is hell. Humans have histories of war. I'm hoping to help and find my friends," He reasoned.

"Your friends?" she asked.

"Yeah. Humans like me wearing these different colored clothes and long ears." He informed her.

Applejack thought though the descriptions that was given to her, it sounded familar. Her eyes widen remembering something. " I  heard rumors  from other ponies, something about a creature standing on two legs; wearing red clothing; and having long ears, but I paid no mind of it 'til you started hollerin'." She recalled. 

"That must be Elijah! Do you know were he is?" William asked excitedly.

" Working at that renamed bakery called 'Red Velvet' or so I've heard. Haven't been in there, been busy with the farm."

William thought for a moment, helping her would not only help  finding the others but, aslo help her as 
well. " Let me go to the 'Red Velvet' as it is called and find Elijah and come back to help you,"

"You promise partner?" She glanced at him suspiciously.

"I promise." He promised.

"Then let's shake on it," She spits on her hoof and offers to shake.

"It's cover in spit," William crinaged.

" Is that a problem?"

"Yes Applejack it is, it's making me feel uncomfortable,"

" Alright I won't judge, but you'll will come back right?" She said again just incase.

"Of course, I'll be back; no need to worried." He reassured. Satisfied with the answer, Applejack continued with her work while William looks for the Red Velvet. 

Minutes passed as William walks through the streets, He noticed the other ponies are watching him with discretion; not coming out of thier houses. His eyes attention drawn to a large buliding  and few ponies entering; leaving with goodies in bags, with tiny smiles on thier faces. Unfortunetly, he has to wait in line in order to enter the bakery as many ponies come in and out.

'Young' William smiles and waves to the ponies in line, but none wave back. Their expression of being afraid of him despite him showing that he's friendly. The war must of brought a lot of grief and fear to any stranger 'being' pony or non ponies, leaving caution, sadness, and fear. 

When it's his turn in line;  he enters inside to see his friend Elijah, who is given away a delicious treats to the pony in front. She's a grey pegasus mare with yellow crossed eyes, and has a marking of a group of bubbles on her the flank. She gives a small smile while muttering "muffin" before she exits the store.

William smiled, Elijah is known for his baking in thier group, always making baked goods to help  cheer them up when ever they are down in the dumps. His kindness to help others is what makes him a very dear friend to them.

When Elijah turn to the front of the counter; his attention towards William, his eyes widen and has a large smile grew on his face. "William, is that you?!" he exclaimed.

"Yes, it is me. I was so worried that I wouldn't see any of you here!" William said few tears flowing in relief.

Both boys run towards to each other and hugged,  it doesn't matter if ponies are watching them; all that matters to them is they are happy to see each other again. The ponies in line  have noticed this tearful renuion that few of the ponies took out handkerchiefs to wipe thier own tears away, some even blow thier noses. William pulls away from the hug and look at his friend in a worried look.

"Where are the others Elijah?"

" I don't know William, but I believe they are here somewhere out there looking for us." Elijah answered.

"Then, I'll find them! I won't rest until I know they are safe," William declared. His determation to find them grew stronger knowing that Elijah or Red, is safe gives him hope others are here as well.

" Good luck William, be safe." Elijah said. With a nod, William heads back to Sweet Apple Acres were Applejack is waiting. 

After finding her again, he smiles and runs towards her.

"Were do I start AJ?"

Applejack heard him, turns around and notices him ready to help, she smiles softly."You came.You can start now by helping with the deliveries."She then blink in confusion when she heard something he said."AJ?" She asked.

"We're friends now so, why not give you a nickname,"He explained.

"Of course partner, we are friends now 'Green'." They both shake each other's hands and hooves. William now nickname 'Green' starts helping Applejack with carrying the barrels to and putting them in the large cart. 

Unbeknown, to everyone,in the ruined castle of two sisters one of the stoned gems glowed red and disapears, an element of loyalty has been found.
> Twilight Sparkle Arrives

Twilight Sparkle and Spike screamed as they fell out of the time portal, Twilight landed on one of the marble thones and Spike fell on the floor in front of the throne with a thud. The lavender mare rubbed her  head with a look of distraught, she look at the map. "I'm not sure what Starlight's up to yet, but we need to figure it out before, its too late," Twilight said.

Spike as he got out of his daze and looked around unlike Twilight, his eyes widen in fear. "Umm Twilight, I think.. it already has,"  He gestered  at thier surrondings and when Twilight look around, she gasped at the sight. Her castle is gone,  only the map table and the thrones which is broken remains.

"Umm where's your castle?" Spike ask Twilight in concern.

She answered."The map brought us back but, whatever Starlight did 'change' things here,"

"But why, and how did we get here and where's here?"He wondered.

"More like 'when'." Twilight corrected as she pulls out Starswirl's Time Spell Scroll out of Spike's backpack.

"What do you mean?"

"Starlight altered Starswirl's spell and somehow use the map to travel in the past and change something. Once she did, the map brought us back to the present,"  She explained to Spike.

"You mean back to when we started." He concluded.

"Not excactly. Everyhing is different," She and Spike look at the map the Crystal Empire and black crystals are shown in different areas of the map. "The map doesn't make sense anymore, the Crystal Empire takes half of Equestra,"

"And your castle is missing," He informed.

"Right, this is to big on our own, we need to find our friends and get help," Twilight said in determetion.

They followed the path to Ponyville. As they pass through ruined looking bulidings, a bright orange mane mare is watching them passed by her house. Spike waved at her but she close her window drapes in fright.

"I have a bad feeling about this." Spike muttered.

"Come on Spike, this Ponyville. How bad can it be?" She smiled at him.

Fortunately for Twilight, the Sugarcube Coner is lively with ponies getting treats from there. While walking though in hope of finding thier friends, many ponies casting glances warily.

As the two reach towards the bakeries entrance, Spike reads the sign by the door. "Red Velvet?"

"That's odd Spike." That confuse them. "But at least it's open; let's enter inside. Maybe Pinkie Pie is here." She suggested.

Spike shrugged as they enter inside. Once, it's thier turn, they heard a young male voice speaking up. "Welcome! Make yourselves comfortable. What can I do for you?"

"That's definitely not Pinkie Pie," Spike said. Twilight Sparkle lowered her head in disapointment.

"No need to be sad, would you like to have some of my pastries," As he said this the baker came to view.

"Um Twilight," Spike shake Twilight to get her attention.

"What is it Spike?" The surpised drako turn her head to what he was looking at.

The alicorn mare's eyes widen in surpise. It was a human, but he's a bit different then the ones at the Mirror Portal leading to the Canterlot High. He has long ears, blue eyes, blond hair, and pale skin. He's wears a red tunic and a red long hat with white tights and brown boots. As well has having a sword and shield and two red and blue wands with orbs on thier matching colored poles in his pockets.

"Your a human! How are you here in Equestra?!" She asked in surpise.

"You know, it's more polite to introduced yourself before asking questions." The human tease playfully,Twilight blush in embrassment before clearing her throat.

"Sorry, I got carried away. I'm Twilight Sparkle," She introduced herself.

"And I'm Spike," Spike introduced himself.

"Well, my names Elijah, though ponies called me 'Red Velvet' for some reason. Though if you want, called me Red for short." Elijah simply shrugged; not caring for having a couple of nicknames.

"Well, we are looking for help, hopefully find my friends." She explained looking upset.

"Well... William is in the same issue, so far; he only find me and is now looking for the others." Elijah told her.

"If that's the case then maybe, with his help; I can find my friends! Thank you for help!" She thanks him.

"No problem Twi-Twi anything for a new friend." He says kindly.

Suddenly, a pink glow lit and a gem of the Element of Kindness appears in Elijah's hand, Twilight looks at in shocked, in front of her eyes is one of the Elements of Harmony! But why on him? It's puzzling, is it possible that the changes of the present could have something to do with it.

"Is there something wrong... ?" He notices the Element of Kindness on his hand." Oh, a strange pink gem that glows?" Elijah said in confusion.

"That's one of the Elements of Harmony that represents kindness." she informed him.

"I have a funny feeling they are going to be important." he guessed.

"They are, the elements are use to defend Equestra,"

"If that's the case then, I'm going to come with you." he repiled.

"What! What about the bakery?!" Spike exclaimed.

"It'll be fine when I come back. But, if I have one of the Element of Harmony, like you said, then my friends could have them too." Elijah conformed.

"Thank you so much!" She smiled, hope grew within her.

"No problem, maybe we can fix this mess." Elijah said excitedly.

"This mess?"Twilight asked.

"Well, I think I know someone who'll explain more, she's one of William's newly friends and he is helping her with the deliveries,"

"You mean somepony." Twilight corrected him.

"That's going to get use to but Twi-Twi, wouldn't it make sense to use everybody with different species?" Elijah suggested. "Because, it'll be odd if we find my friends and say somepony instead of somebody, it's going to be confusing."

Twilight's body twitched oddly, like her body malfuntion.

"Um Twi?" Elijah waves his hand on Twilight's face hoping for a reaction.

"I think you broke her Elijah." Spike remarked.

Twilight immediately shake her head to snapped out of it. "Now's 'not' the time to lose focus. Were's this friend you speak of?"

"She's in Sweet Apple Arces, at least; that's what William said," Elijah recalled.

"Then let's go, Applejack might be there." She declared. They head out of the bakery towards the barn in hope to get some help.

Mintues later, They heard a gasp from Spike, they spotted him run towards what use to be were Rarity lived and starts banging on the door.

"Rarity?"He called out in worry. He peers into the windows to tried to find her. But no luck, he slump in sadness.

"She's not here Spike. I don't think everthing is the same; except, I know one place that hasn't changed. Let's go," She urged Spike onwards with Elijah following them to Sweet Apple Arces.

William has left the farm to deilver the barrels to a pony going by name by Cheerlie at the Foals Protection House, a place where they keep foals safe from the dangers of the war.Calling for a  delivery in order to feed the hungry foals.

Thankfully, she has an extra hoof; or 'hand' in this case. A strange creature whom called himself James wearing black clothes and a black long hat, long ears, blue eyes, and purple hair.  James helping her was a blessing for the magenta mare.

What she learn so far about James is that even though he was lost and alone, he doesn't like seeing childern sad, scared, or having fun as young kids should. 

He smiles as he play games with three particular filies who they called themselves the Cutie Mark Crusaders. Thier names were Applebloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetiebelle, they can be a 'bit' of a handful; 'especally' when they're 'Still' looking for thier cutie marks even in a war like this, still open and friendly to talk to. 

However, not all foals are having fun. Diamond Tiara and SilverSpoon have changed dramticaly, once were bullies, but now in deep depression. Both fillies didn't say anything or bully anyone anymore. Silverspoon parnets' left to fight in war while,  Diamand on the other hand, had it the worse.

It was only a half a day as James, Cheerlie, and the foals being near the safe house. Lots of the kids stay inside, well, expect three adventurous fillies.

Mintue later, someone spoke up. " Mrs. Cheerilee, if the war is over, what happens to the foals?" James asked, Cheerlee looked at him with a smile.

" They'll all go back to thier homes with thier families..." She said before frowning sadly. "All except one,"

"What; who?" He asked.

"Diamond Tiara, before you arrive her father Filthy Rich; though he prefers Mr. Rich. We were told he perished in the war, when Diamond Tiara  heard this; she deined it immediately, yelling that they were lying, I wish it was they showed us the coffin and.... well she burst into tears, mourning her loss...." She explained.

"What about her mother?" When he ask Cheerilee about the mother she stop.

She then spoke in eerily calm voice. "That "mare" is 'not' a mother. Spoiled Rich abandoned her when she heard about the death Filithy Rich. She scoffed and abandoned her when Diamond Tiara needed her the most!" She shouted in frustration." Because of her, Diamond rarely goes outside, and unless she's with Silverspoon; is mostly spending her time alone because of the actions of selfish bitch of a mare," She grumbled angerly.

"Sorry of what happen Miss Cheerilee. But, if I ever see that mare..." His eyes suddenly glow red " I'll make her pay for what she did!" He growled.

Suddenly, Applebloom shouted in exictiment. "There's my sister's chart, she is here!" She runs to the cart that's heading in thier direction. 

"Applebloom; wait!" Cheerilee shouted with James shouting out "Come back!" But the yellow filly didn't listen she kept heading towards the wooden wagon until she notice something wrong. Her sister wasn't the one pulling the cart, it was an unfamilar creature pulling  the chart wearing clothing like James but, wearing green instead of black.

"Hey, your sister Applejack says hi." A short being said, his voice a bit similar to James.

"Wait you knew my sister?" She asked.

"Yeah. I'm working with her at the farm. I'm William or If you want; you can call me Green," William introduced himself.

"Green as in the color? Cause you're wearing green and helping my big sister out. Is your name Green Apple " Applebloom curiously asked.

William chuckled warmly. "Sure you can call me that"

"Applebloom!" A magenta mare with a pink and pale pink mane runs up to the filly then stop when she saw him. "Oh, I'm so sorry sir, please forgive us. she misses her sister dearly." Cheerilee apologized.

"It's no big deal ma'am. Here's your deilvery." He said, gesturing to the cart where the mare sees barrels inside.

"Thank you so much." Cheerlee thanked him.

At this moment James reached the group and confused at seeing someone looking a lot like him with a few exceptions in color and seeing a sword and shield on this fourteen year old boy's back. He remembered himself turning into Shadow Link. Is it one of his friends? "Wait..." James muttered. He took a closer look, seeing a familar green outfit.

Taking a guess, he walks towards the green Link. "Is that 'you', William?" James asked, looking at him hopefully.

"James your here too?"Both boys smiled, happy to see each other. William remember that he's on a job and went to the back of the cart and unhatched the back door. He reached for one of the barrels and lift his arms tensed up as he triesto move it out of wagon but it was hard as it was heavy. He places it back down on the wagon as he gasped from the unexpected weight.

William looked to the shadow boy. "Um, can you give me a hand. These barrels are heavy?" William gave a sheepish smile.

James chuckled."Of course. Here, let me help you with that." He walks up to William's side and together they lift the barrel. It became bearable with both of them helping each other. Both of them carried the barrels inside the buliding, placing them near the kitchen.

When they place it down, it was the young, green clothe wearing teenager that spoke up. "So what is this place?" William asked.

"Well this is were childern go to when thier parents head to battle in the war." James explained to his friend.

"Like a safe house to a trusted person were victims of war to take refuge and protection?" William asked for clarification.

"Almost, but not quite, with only childern 'or "foals" in this case'  and there's only the two of us are takeing care of them."

"I see...." As the eighth barrel is placed down the boys wipe thier hands from the sweating. "Well, I need to deilver the rest of the barrels to some places were they make the clothes. However, I don't know were it is?"

Hearing about the young boy's problem, her teacher instinct kicked in and trot over to Willliam. " I do, do you have a map I can use?" Cheerilee says.

William nods, and opens the map that was given to him by Applejack and shows it to her.

"Hmm. You need to go to the train station and head to Manehatten here. Here, let me mark it for you with a marker." Cheerlee offered. She quickly gets a marker and marks the area were William needs to go next, she even make track line marks for him to follow.

"Thank you ma'am. I'll come back and visit you when my work is done bud." William smiled before heading back to cart and pepares to leave.

"Sure, be safe Willy~" James teased.

"Stop calling me that!"He shouted in annoyance of the nickname.

James laughed. "Be careful on your journey." They both waved goodbyes, as William moves onwards to his next stop.

A orange pegasus filly ran up to James and asked excitedly. "Hey Shadow Sneak, wanna play with us?" Scootaloo asked.

"Of course... Shadow Sneak?" James asked in confusion.

"Well; you called yourself 'Shadow' sometimes, and you need a 'cool' nickname," She reasoned.

"Like your idol Rainbow Dash" James said. The orange filly snorted at this in a funny manner.

"Your cool; but Rainbow Dash is still more 'Awesome'!"

James chuckled and ruffled her magenta mane. "'Yeah' can't argue there."

With William, he sets off to  his next destination which is to Manehatten. What he learn from Applejack, there is a group of ponies who use the wool to make clothes for both soldiers and ponies in need. They need some refreshments that they requested the Apple family to send a shipment to Manehatten. 

Once, the green hero got off of the train, he notices two large bulidings, one were herds of sheep that are in line waiting, one being shaved by a yellow pegasus with pink mane and tail. 

He went to the other one in wonder how things are going in there. When William looked inside the second he found a stressed out white unicorn mare with slightly ragged purple curled mane and swirl style tail,  sewing  the wool into decently made clothing with a sewing machine, she look exchausted.

"'So', 'much', 'stress'... So much work to do... The clothes needed for the customers have to be finished as quicklyas possible. But 'Also' needed to be warm as well and if they aren't warm; then it won't protect them from the freezing air!" She stop to breath in and out in a hypervated speed. "What if I don't get it done fast enough? I'll let everpony down!"

"Rarity, calm yourself, it'll be fine." A calm voice was heard. It belongs to another fourteen year old boy, wearing a violet colored tunic and a violet long hat and long ears. William couldn't help but feel joy that he found his other friends so soon.

"How can I be 'Calm', when ponies are relaying on both 'me' and 'Fluttershy'?" Rareity whine.

"I know, but relax Rare's. It's not good when you stress yourself too much." He said calmy.

"Noah?" William asked.

Noah hears this and turns around to see William at the barn enternce and smiled. "It's good to see your alright my friend."

"You too; Noah." WIlliam greeted his friend in relief.

> Blue and Captain Rainbow Dash

Rainbow Dash took her flying units on a scout misson for any information or any sight of Sombra and his army. She became captain after the loss of her left wing and getting a metal replacement. 

She scans the area to see anything out of the ordinary, when, she spotted something blue laying around. Curiousity, she and her air troops fly down to take look, what they saw is a strange bipedal creature wearing blue clothing and a strange looking hat  but, more interesting are the weapons it has: a sword, a shield , and a hammer.

"Captain, what should we do with it?" One of the fliers asked.

Rainbow Dash thought a while. The creature was strange in appearance, not like any species she knew or heard about. Has weapons on its back 'so' it must know how to use them, like an intelligent monkey. ' Hmm, maybe we should take so precaution.' Making her descion she answers one of the units.

" Carry it to base for questioning. Heal any injuries if needed, and remove his weapons. It might have the information we need." She ordered. The other pegasi nodded and slowly carried the unconcious back to base.

Logan's mind started to woke up and felt  groggy, he can't move his hands to help ease the dizzness. Weakly open his eyes, his sight a bit blurry. His hearing return and voices are heard, clearly well for some strange reason. 

"It's waking up!" One of the voices spoke up.

"Good, send in Captain Rainbow Dash  immediantly!" Second voice ordered and Logan heard clip-clopping sounds that slowly dissipate.

'Rainbow Dash? What kind of  name is that? It's sounds like a name for a brand of ice cream.' He thought. Once again trying to get his eyes more focus and mintues later his vision clears up. What he saw baffled him, he sees two small horses wearing armor, and guarding the cell Logan is in.

He scoffed at where he is. " Of course. I have been captured, and they have used horses to guard me like a pair of guard dogs."

"Silence, creature!" one of the 'guards' shouted at him, 'his' voice fill in distrust.

"You talk! ... I must be mad..." Logan muttered to himself. Is he really going crazy? Did he really heard a small horse talk?!

"Don't mock us stupid creature!" The guard yelled at him.

Logan sneered at the small horse. "Like, I take orders, from a pair of prissy horses,"

The guard growled. " How, 'Dare' you!" However, before any of the guards can do anything they were stop by someone shouting.

"Enough you two, I'll handle it,"

The two guards huffed and glared at the imprison human as a cyan pegasus with prism mane and tail approach. 'She' as the voice gave a hint; has a ripped ear on her left ear, a scar over her left eye, and her left wing  was replaced with a metal prosthetic wing stares at Logan and then the guards.

" I told you two to 'Guard' him, not start fights!"

"B-but Miss Dash," they stuttered.

"No, buts! Your supposed to be professional guards, not act like childern. We are in a war!" She shouted in irritation before sighing in annoynce. "You are both dismissed, I'll handle the prisoner."

" Y-yes, Miss Dash!" They answered before leaving.

Logan snickered as they leave, thinking the whole situation was funny. He really should've remained quiet as now 'The Captain' turn her attention on him. 

"And you, no antagonizing the soldiers."

" They started it, they yelled at me as soon as I talked!" Logan argued.

"Look, I don't care who started it 'I'm' finishing it." The prism pony; ( who he learn is 'Dash') said as she got close to the human's face; much of his dislike.

"I have a personal space." he huff.

"Not when I'm questioning you, so get over it." She demanded impatiently.

Logan flinched, he knew she has authortiy over him, as he's the prisoner being question by and; (hate to admit) a pony general.

"Your name and race," she ordered.

"Logan, and I'm a human..." he answers. 

She raised her eyebrow. "Never heard of a race called a 'hoomon'. "

" 'Human' and I'm not form here." He insist.

"I'll be the judge of that," She gave stern look. "You 'are' a male right?"

"Yes, you are correct." He rolled his eyes.

"Don't give me that, your lucky I'm being considerate." She glared at him at his attitude before getting back to questioning."Now, do you work for King Sombra---"

"Look, I don't know were I'm or know who this King Sombrero is!" He yelled at her, he then froze on what he just did, he yelled at someone with high authority. "Sorry," he muttered softly, ready to whatever she'll say or do in reponse to the outburst.

It was moments of silence.	

His ears heard something like a suppressed chuckle. Then, a loud snickering and as if it's trying to contain itself due the muffleing. A full blown laugh coming from; ( to his surpise) Miss Dash.

"King Sombrero!" She laughed. "That's funny! You know what, I like you." She gave a slight smile. "I haven't laugh like this in a long time. Your alright for a 'non'-pony."

"... Thank you?" He said in confusion, not sure if that was a compliment.

"Well you are certaintly, Not allies with him, so I'll untie you. Unfortunately, you'll be in constant watch. Though, I think I have somepony in mind." She said as she unlocked the cell with a key, opening  the bared cell fence and unties him. "Names Rainbow Dash, captain of the Wonderbolts military." She introduces herself professionally.

"You already know my name." Logan repiled.

"Yeah, well I wanted to start over." She reason.

"Alright, I'm Logan." he reintroduced himself.

"Also, your weapons are taken until we fully trust you." she informed him.

"I understand... Wait weapons?" he asked in confusion.

"Your sword, shield, and hammer." she answered.

"Those, aren't real, just props,"  he insisted.

"Uuumm; they 'are' real,"

He frowned at her "Um, can I look at a mirror?" He asked. 

She cocked her head in confusion but comply, heads over to the next room over. When she came back with a hand held mirror, hands or hoofing it to him the mirror. Once he looks in the mirror he froze in shock, he reach his ear and feel his newly long ears. Bright blue eyes are staring back at him in surpise, having blond hair replacing his once black hair, and his height was shorter then before. He did what any normal sane person would do, he screamed and started freaking out.

"Can you scream any louder?!" Rainbow asked in annoyance; covering her ears with her hooves at the screams the boy 		was making. Logan begain to hyperventilate as he look back at her as if she's not getting it, well; she doesn't really but he wasn't thinking and just went with the panic feeling inside.

"You don't understand! I'm not supposed to 'look' like this! "He shouted

She looks at him in confusion. "Ooookay?" 

"I'm supposed to be taller, older, and normal. Now, I'm a videogame/manga character from one of the famous video game franchises, and now I'm a fourteen year old!" He explains as he hyperventilates in each pause.

"Yeah yeah, but if you get any 'louder' you'll alarm 'every' guard and taking it wrongly. Or have the enemy will hear you!" She shouted at him to stop shouting himself which calm him down a little bit but still in a panic.

"Okay okay, but it doesn't help I'm stuck like this!" He whispered with a high pitch from his anxiety.

"You can ask Princess Celestia, but not right now. We are preparing for another battle." She said as she took the mirror back to where she found it.

"War?" He asked.

"Yes with King Sombra," She tried not to snickered and remaind serious, the funny name the boy had said still wander in her mind. She came back to view of the boy and walk to cell's entrance "He enslave his subjects to fight a war for him."

"Can't you just bring them over here so they won't be forced to fight?" He suggested.

Rainbow shook her head." I wish its that simple, Sombra has placed helmets that brainwashed them to do his bidding."

"Can't you just take them off?" He asked.

"No, most of our unicorns don't have strong magic, nor our hooves are strong enough to take them off, thier heavy."

"Maybe, with hands it'll be easier or maybe the hammer can break it." He proposed.

"That could work..." Rainbow Dash agreed." Your still suspicious... but, I'll keep it in mind."

"So, who's watching me?" He asked glumly.

"Pinkamena Diane Pie and Maud Pie." She answered him.

"Who are they?" The names got him curious, forgetting about his earlier panic.

"That'll be us." A not so bright pink pony with a dark pink mane answers, beside her is a grey pony with a short purple mane next to her, both have short tails and wearing protection combat uniforms.

"I'll be back to check on you "Rainbow says as she flies out of the hold tent.

"Uh... hi," He said awkwardly.

He was surpised when Maud sniffs at him, he felt awkward with her being close in his private bubble. "Your scent is not from here I sense unknown yet familar minerals on you." She monotonically said. "Do you like rocks?"

"Well..." Logan begains (believed it or not) he's really good at geology and paleontology,which could explain the unknown scent, she detected sense. He 'does' collected fossils and other minerals like geodes and space rocks, so maybe. "I like to collect fossils and other rocks. Would like for me to talk about them?" He offered.

"Tell us!" Pinkamena said with spark of interest, Maud(?) nod in agreement.

Logan smiled "'Alright'! I'll tell you about my fossil and rock collections! "He happly tells the Pie sisters of his collection. Maybe this won't be bad as he thought...
> The Wind Mage's Students

Alex groaned as he regains consciousness.  Slowly, he gets to his feet while, shakeing his head to get rid of the dizziness. When, he sees more clearly, he look at the strange large building in front of him. He look at in confusion. 

" Hmm never seen this before... what's it called?" He asked to himself, trying to remember what in the world is  this building  before his attention was drawn to a plack with a name on it. " School of Gifted Unicorns?" He frowned at this. This isn't familar to him at all, where is he? 'I needs to investgate instead of just standing there.' with that in mind he enters inside. 

Inside the building is Huge, There are many rooms and a few long hallways, there are signs of a few windows here and there. Once in a while find a small wooden table with or without a flower vase.

Alex was walking though the hallways when he notices a mirror at end of the hallway.There was something wrong with the reflection, curious; he walks closer and closer for a better look. When he got close enough to get a better look. When his eyes widen, startling at what he saw.  

Looking right back at him was someone familiar to Alex. The person was short with purple long hair, a dark purple line curve under his red eyes with a sharp point spike line going down, his ears are now long and pointy. Wore a pale purple tunic with a collarbone gold button and a dark purple cape, gold belt strap with a bunkle having a circle gold ring frame with red inside with the center having a black dot, red upper knee long roomy pants, red sandals that have straps wrap around the lower lower- legs, lastly; on the top of his head is a triangle purple cap with golden rim jewelry with a red orb crest in a gold horseshoe crowning on rim.

He blinked for a few seconds before realization on who's reflection that belong to, his eyes roll back and land with a thud, blacking out.

Ten minutes later,  Alex woke up and hoping it was a dream. When he looks around him, then the mirror, and finally look at himself, misfortune tells him no, it wasn't a dream. He is still looks like the wind mage, Vaati.  


"Okay, I'm really freaking out about now," He whimpers in fear. "This can't be happening. What's going on?!", 

Suddenly, as he was freaking out; coming out of his shaken hand shot out a bit of light streams of wind. When he saw the wind being manifested to viewable, Alex couldn't help but be in awe. "That's cool!" He said as a child like excitement grew. He got up off the rug floor. 

Moment later a thought  pops into his mind. "Hmm, let's see..." He got ready to test something, hopefully, it's his new powers.  With a  flick of his wist more gusts of wind formed around him. The sound of wind passing by him made him feel relaxed, and his fears are at ease, joy and wonder took his doubts away. He calls forth more of his assuming 'wind magic.'

He  contiuned his wind performence unaware of the audience at the end of the hallway behind Alex. He turns around during his testing of his magic, opens his eyes too see a group of unicorns are watching  him in curiosity, surpise and awe. Alex  stop and stare at them shock, seeing technicolor mythical horses staring right back at him, in his mind he was screaming  and panicking.

His new long ears heard them whispering to each other, was surpise that they can talk!

" Is that magic?" One of the unicorns ask.

" But it's strange, not unlike our own" A yellow unicorn said, puzzled by this.

" Maybe he can help us with our issue? Maybe he can teach us magic?!" A greenish light unicorn whisper cheerfully and with hope.

"Ummmm ... H-h-hello?"He greet them generously. This cause the unicorns to whisper more.

"It can talk?!" A male unicorn exclaimed.

" A new race that knows a different kind of magic!" A violet mare mutters to herself in excitement.

"My name is Alex and, umm, where am I?" Alex asked them. He heard  a few unicorns giggling.

One horse walks towards towards to Alex. A male unicorn with avivid and brillant vermilion scarlet mane, goatee, and tail, a brillant gambage coat with light apple greenish grey  legs and a rectangular patch on the ridge of his nose, wore round glasses and a dark pale blue wizard cape with sky blue and rim and field of stars

" Explaining your whereabouts: Your in Canterlot and this our school, School of Gifted Unicorns. Mister uhh.. I'm sorry; what's your name again?" The male pony asked.

"Alex or Vaati if you wish." Alex answered.

"Alright, Vaati.  Anyways we were in class when, somepony notices a stray visible wind. It didn't came from outside so we assume  it was a magical energy. However, the magical energy is not the same as our magic; its differnet and unlike anything we have ever seen before." The orange unicorn stallion explained tap his glasses back in postion.

" I see, though  I must apologized for the intrusion."

"My name is Sunburst." The stallion introduce himself. " Well I don't think your a threat if your are aploogizing  something completely minor, and you haven't attack us."

"My magic is not from here." Alex said.

"I see. Can you by chance teach us, using this strange magic?" Sunburst ask

"Huh, why?" He ask in confusion.

"I'll explain." A lavender unicorn with bright purple eeyes eyes, long  blue with violet and hot pink stripe mane and tail, her mane is tied to a ponytail and wears glasses.

"You are?" Alex asked the unicorn mare.

"Twilight Sparkle. Moving on to the explaination. She explained. " We are at war against  King Sombra who had returned after a thousand years and seeks revenge and conquer Equestra. "Few are merely students here, the mages with more experienced unicorns are looking for ways to remove the brainwash helmets, Sombra used on his own subjects."

" Hmmm. Do you think my foreign magic could remove it?" Alex ask.

"It's a possibility"

"But I'm not a good teacher. I'm not good at explaining things, let alone magic," He replied.

"Perhaps not though talking, but we can learn visually and studying your magi." A feminine voice spoke up and a pony walks up to 'Vaati'. A pale yellow unicorn  with bright purple eyes, with long light red-orange with violet and lavender highlights mane and tail. "Will this solve your teaching issue?"

"That could work. What's your name?" He asked her.

"Moondancer." She answered.

"Okay that makes things easier.  Is there a place to train my magic?"

"It's recommended to use the training room. We'll take you there it's pass the hallway and right beside the library." Sunburst respond.

He and other students leads Alex to training room. They took a few turns and a few steps down a floor before reaching thier destination. With magic, the double doors open up and went inside. It was a huge room, it remains Alex of the P.E. gym; just with books, magic training, and wooden training dummies. 

"This could work. It's like gym class I use to take in school." He comments as he look around.

" Alright. Vaati, shoot this training dummy with your magic." Twilight instruct.

"Very well." He mutters as he slowly concentrates, focusing his attack on the target. His hands slowly surrond in a orange glows. The unicorns watches with high interset  and curiosity as the glow become tense and ignaites into a ball of fire. Alex resumes his focus, shoots one of the fireballs at the wooden target, burning it.

"Interesting... This new magic is fascinating... I wonder if we can replicate it?" Twilight noted in thought as an emotion of  excitement grew.

"Maybe if I constantly do the same magic over and over, you guys might pick it up." Alex presume.

"Be careful of over doing it, Vaati! Magic exhausted will cause you to collapse." Sunburst warned him.

Alright, I'll be careful." He noted, return to training. He shoots another fireball on the next wooden target.

It was a couple of mintues of Alex casting his magic. Unicorn ponies continue to watch him perform his magic memorizing the feel, type of magical resonance and understanding it's frequency. There are a few times his magic goes unstable and had to stop for a moment to get back on the rhythm of the spell.

An hour passes and Alex  took a break,  feeling himself getting exhausted. He remembered Sunburst's warning of the magic exhaustion, and decided to rest.

They decided to get some lunch. Though; when Alex looked at the food options, he was disappointed. The food choices are very limited, as humans; he can't eat hay and certain types of flowers. However, there are eggs for him to make himself an omelet.  

After, his lunch break, Alex went back to the training dummies. Casting a gust of wind to shred both the dummy and wooden post in pieces. 

Night came quickly, and his training left him exhausted, Twilight was nice enough to show him were the beds are located. When he got in the bedroom, too tired to care to tuck in for the night. Alex collapsed on the bed and was quickly falllen asleep to tired to care to tuck in for the night.

The next morning, Alex is startled by the sound of explosions and a lot of shouting. Feeling nervous; he heads out of the bedroom and head quickly down stairs to were the loud noises are coming from; assuming it to be in the training room. Fearing there's an attack he quickly opens the door, ready to defend himself when his eyes widen in horror to see the unicorns practicing the  magic "he" demastrate yesterday. 

The room is a mess, soot scattered all over the place with a few dummies either stain by soot  or a bit of fire left behind and few had been scattered off thier placements of some force. Messy as the place is, unicorns are casting spells that looked like Alex's magic on the practice targets.

He notice a few unicorns  having trouble with the spell, a unicorn wearing a purple star hat and a star cape, her mane and tail are very light cornflower blue and very pale cerulean blue highlights, kept trying to use a minor spell by spewing out words as if that was it's key component to making it work. Two to four unicorns were able to cast a ball of fire at the target and gave a weak but loud explosion from the collision.

"Guys?" he called out but the explosions were too loud for them to hear him at all. So he a deep breath then shouted louder "Enough!!" Everypony, flinched at the loud voice and stop what they were doing and turn to Alex. Sheepishly, he continues speaking; but with normal volume. "I'm sorry, but the way your casting the magic was way too chaotic."

" I apologized! We were practicing an equivalent of your magic. We are hoping to learn a way to cast the spell, but it seems we are having a problem with casting your spells, so we try to make an alternative option and try to use equestrian magic to try and replicate your spells. Though weaker than the ones you have, probably because your magic and equestrian are different " Sunburst said sheeplishly.

"I seem to noticed some of the unicorns are having trouble with thier magic casting" Alex replies. 

The unicorn poines who are  having trouble nodded in agreement though a couple refuse to admit.

"I see we need to form different groups in order to be more organized" Alex suggested.

Twilight Sparkle hearing this groaned and facehoofed how could she forgot to be more organized. Well, she did got too excitied to learn new spells, that she had forgotten about it.

Meanwhile, Alex is thinking how to split the students in groups, spilt into two groups is to large so, spilt into four goups is smaller, but how would he do it? Then, he remember something the ponies are like mages, in some of the games of Final Fanstay mage classes are split into three or four types; red, black , white and blue each having differnet styles of casting magic this gave him an idea.

"I have an idea we'll split into four different groups", He anounces.

" What kind of groups?" A unicorn by the name of Lemon Hearts ask.

" By mage classes; let's start with the Blue Mages, know they don't cast magic normally; they need to copy the magic form an opponent or enemy to learn that specific magic and then the blue mages can use it against the enemy," Alex explains.

While, as he was explaining the Blue Mage class, Twilight Sparkle uses her hoove to move her glasses a bit and starts jotting down notes with her magic, as Alex continue his explanation.

" The unicorn pony with a purple magician outfit can you come here please?" he called 

" Trixie is being choosen? The Great and Powerful Trrrixie is flattered," she says as she walks up to the semi human mage.

Some of the ponies roll thier eyes as Trixie boasts about herself.

"I notice your having diffculty with casting magic thats not illusion or a show based but, I beileve you'll be great as the Blue Mage Twixie, so, your the first blue mage in the group" As he tell this to Trixie, the blue pony was surpise yet, she smiles and held her head high.

"Alright Trixie your the leader of Blue Mages you'll be responsable and need to help the other ponies in your group," He informed.

"Trixie understands" She said.

"Now for the Black Mages," As he says this though,  the ponies immendiately started shouting in panic.

A unicorn name Amethyst Star started speaking in fear. "Are we going to learn Dark Magic? Thats forbidden!"

"No no, It's not like that Black Mages learn offensive magic like fire and lightning," Alex quickly explain.

"Oooh," Everypony sigh in reflief.

"I apologize for giving you the scared everybody? or is it everypony? Anyway, how about you Sunburst would you like to be the Black Mage?" Alex asked Sunburst.

"Me? I'm not sure" Sunburst doubted himself as well as looking a little nervious.

"Don't look down on yourself Sunburst you won't know until you try" Alex ressured him.

Sunburst thought for a moment  he's still unsure if he can cast magic if even at all but, Alex's encouragement  made him feel like he can do it maybe, with training he'll be able to easily cast magic like everyone else.

"Alright I'll do it," He said with confendence.

" Okay Next, are the White Mages they instead of useing offensive magic are the healers and can use defensive magic like wind to attack or use as a  shield. The white mages can destroy the undead with either holy or healing magic," Alex informs. " Moondancer you'll be the leader of the White Mages,"

" I accpect this postion you gave me" she repiles.

"Lastly, are the Red Mages they can  learn both magics from the white and the black mage now, Twilight Sparkle  I believe you'll be a great Red Mage,"

"Me? Really?!" She asked in surpise and an excitment.

" Of course Twilight," Alex repiled.

Twilight tried her best not to squeal in glee.

"Now once these four are completely trained they'll train the rest of you depending on what group youtr on and learn what they have learn,"

The students nodded in agreement.

"Alright, now to choose who goes to which mage class you'll go to," he mutterd to himself.

"Let me help you with that," Sunburst offered.

"Thank you Sunburst,"

" Let's see..." Sunburst pondered. " Lemon Hearts, Twinkle Shine, and Neon Lights will join the White Mages. Sea Swirl, Blueblood.."

"Prince Blueblood" he interpreted.

Sunburst sighs and shook his head " Prince Blueblood and Minuette will be in to the Blue Mage class; Next, Comet Tail, Juniper Berry , and Lyra your on the Red Mage group and finally  Amethyst Star, Spring Rain, and Glitter Drops you'll be in the Black Mages," Sunburst saids, continueing  telling which ponies go to which class.

All of the ponies agree with him and started cheering well, most of anyway as certain stallion huffs in annoyance but remains slient.

Elsewhere, in the Castle of Canterlot, Celestia suddenly hears something odd it sounded close were the School of Gifted Unicorns is at, suddenly, a loud explosion  made her jump a little this causes her to panic and rushes quickly, and  flew out the window flying as quickly as she can to reach her students hopeing they are all right. However, she was not the only one to hear the explosions the head mages heard them as well and immeniately teleported close to school and inside to deal with the possiable threat.

The head mages opened the door to see a strange purple grab creature standing on two legs , with long ears, having  a purple mane, and shockingly having red eyes. The mages nodded to each other and quietly sneaking up towards the creature without being notice, thier horns began to glow readly to cast thier magic now, its back exposed unaware it's being ambush by them. Alex on the otherhand is competely unaware the danger he's in, still teaching the students of The School of Gifted Unicorns, the new magic he has although, he's still not used to it  even though, it's visual learning. So far the unicorn ponies are fast learners, well most of them anyway a certain prince is still struggling and Juniper Berry is only able to cause explosions. However, the rest of the ponies learn the basic first level  spells like fire, cure, protect, and thunder are a few examples. 

As he was about practice his own magic, he suddenly slammed by his unknown attackers knocking him off his feet. He wheezed in pain as he landed on the floor on his stomach as the wind in his lungs is knocked out of him. He starts coughing and gasping trying to regain the air he lost,  he slowly was able to  catch his breath and tries to stand up or at least tried to becuase,  even though his sight  is too blurry to see clearly, he does feel something was pinning his body to the floor.

"We have you now you beast!" he heard someone hissed in his ears, He simply growled  at his attacker, he eyes now started to get clear vision and  notice some cloaked ponies with horns, they are unicorns simliar to Twilight and Sunburst but, look to be older and he can feel stronger magic coming from them. Speaking of which, he just  now notice magic bindings on his arms , legs, and his torso in this postion he can only see a certain angle but, he can hear  pleading  and shouting from the younger unicorns especally, Sunburst  whom is trying to ease the mages into letting him go but, he doubted it adults rarely, listen to those who are younger than them until, it's too late. 

" He's not hurting anypony , leave him alone please!" Sunburst pleaded.

"Quiet, he's only lying to you and manipulated all of you" A mare mage snapped at him.

"What's wrong with all of you he's only teaching us magic."Twilight tried to explain to them even, though she sounds nervous as if she never aruge with anyone that's her teacher or somepony she look up to. She flinched when, one of the head mages glared at her.

"You are too naive, he could have been teaching you dark magic!" The stallion mage shouted at her.

The others have tried to reason them but, it's no use they are too stubborn to even care to listen. Alex struggled through, his bindings trying to escape thier magical  grasped while, those idiotic mages are distracted by the shouting  but, of course one of them notice him struggling, and smack him on side of his  head with her hooves. Alex groaned in pain he wanted to ease the pain but, his arms are still pinned down. He then suddenly, felt something inside him a sense anger and rage and a want of to fight back these weaklings. Alex's red eyes then  began to glow out of rage,  he stares at them omniously.

Elsewhere, outside of school, Celestia had just arrive and she gently descends  as her wings slowly flaps, she  then, lands on the ground softly, being careful to not make any sound. Her wings folded to her side as her horn glows and opens the door her heart beats faster  in her chest as well as her breathes quicken from the  fear and anxiety . She starts galloping scearching through the  school halls  in a panic,  looking for any signs of Sombra or his brainwash army had invaded inside the building. She became even more nervous as every step she took it was  way too quiet not a sound form anything, her fears slowly creeping in  as she began to fear the worst as quietly keeps looking for her students hoping they are safe is when, she heard a sound, her ears pick it up of the sound of screaming and magic firing. She quickly, locates of were the sounds are coming from which, leads to the door leading to training room. As she approaches, the screaming and magic fire got louder, with a look of determination she quickly opens the door to see a shocking sight.

Just before, Celestia had enter the room Alex started shaking in anger when, bursts of magic
surronds him and breaking the magical binds then begin to  transform his apperence. He grew taller, his hair grew longer, markings on both of his eyes, he now wears bigger clothes, a small crown around his head replacing the cap, and an eye on the middle of his torso. The mages now look at him in fear and starts firing magic beams to tried to weaken him and capture him again but, Alex simply used his own magic to canceled the beams from coming any closer.  He glares at the foolish mages with disgust and ready to fire with another of  his own magic but,  this time he is targeting the mages.

Celestia watches in horrer on what she just witness, the two legged creature that she saw, and was already pinned down by the head mages had suddenly had a magic surge and then,  the sudden transformation of a demonic looking creature whom is now glareing and  is now perparing  to strike back against them. She was about to run towards to the creature and fight to defend both her students and mages when, she watches Sunburst got in between the two and starts talking to the unkown being.

"Alex, it's all right please calm down, hurting them won't get them to understand you. It'll only make things worse please as friend I beg you to stop," Sunburst pleaded and hoping Alex would listen to him.

Alex stares at him for a few mintues  before, his body relaxes, his  arms lowered, and his red eyes looking at him in gulit."S-sunburst?" 

"That's right Alex we're friends." he gave a reasuring smile.

However, this touching moment was ruined  as the head mages took advantage when, Alex's guard was down and shoot magic beams at him. Unfortunetly, Sunburst got caught in the middle of the crossfire, Alex quickly sheild him with his own body protecting him from the blast of magic and taken the damage instead. 

"Alex!" Sunburst shouted in concern.

" I'm fine  I won't let one of my friends get hurt!" Alex declared holding him in protective hold and glaring at the stupid mage ponies who put Sunburst in harm's way.

Suddenly , a loud shout boomed acrossed the room it was so loud everpony flinched and quivered in fear. "Enough!!!!"

The doors suddenly burst wide open to  reveal a very angry Celestia who is staring at her mages in disapointment and fury, they nearly harm one of her students and  while, she was fearful of the creature it has been shown to be able to be reason with. 

Alex looks at her in awe and out of curiousity, this tall pony has white fur, has both wings and a longer horn, margenta eyes, wearing  a golden crown on her forehead, a golden necklace with a purple gem on it, her hooves have golden hoof shoes on them, a sun tattoo on her flank, but the most unqiue is her mane and tail it moves without wind or force moveing it, and it comes in four different colors pink, aqua blue, purple, and green. He notice everypony was bowing to her, that means she must be thier ruler which is making him more nervous to her presence.

"I am very disapointed in all of you, my mages nearly got somepony hurt and what would happen, what if your magic hurt the others?"

"But my princess we were just trying to stop..."

" Sunburst was able to reason with it but, you continue your assult" She shook her head in disapointment. "your are dismissed."

The head mages simpily lower thier heads in defeat as they teleported out  the room. Once, they left Celestia soften her experssion and trots over to Alex and Sunburst.

"You may relax I'm not going to hurt you," she reassured.

Alex is still wary of her even she says she won't harm him, that dooes mean he should lower his guard. He releases Sunburst from his protective hold but, still keep an eye on the princess.

"I understand you don't trust me?" 

"No, I don't they attack me  when, my guard was down why should I trust you to keep your promise?" Alex sneered with distrust.

Twilight Sparkle walks towards him giving him a small smile " You can trust her Alex,"

He sighs as he  slowly, reverts back from Vaati's Reborn to his orginal form although, it took him a while to change back to Vaati's hylain form.  He gave Celestia a wary glance still not trusting her " Alright I'll trust for now at least" he hissed.

Celestia sighs in disapointment but, at least it's a start. "That's all I could ask of you now,  can you tell me who or what you are?"

" I'm a human male who is now a hylian mage,"he replies. "I'm  as you heard my name is Alex however, it's  only those I trust, you may call me Vaati."

" Very well, Vaati  may I ask a favor?" she asks gently.

"That depends,"he huffs.

" Would you help me defeat Sombra and cure the  crystal ponies he brainwash?" She pleaded.

" I will if you allow me to keep teaching your students magic, help me find my friends who are scattered, and allow us to  aid you in the battlefield,"he asked in reponse.

Celestia is hesitated she couldn't bare to see her students fighting in the war  fear of them getting hurt or worse be killed.

" Let us help you princess," Moondancer says with determination.


"Alright, but if things go wrong, all of  you must leave  the battlefield immediately" She tells them.

"Very well, we have an agreement, " He says with confidence.

Princess Celestia nods in acceptance still worried for thier safety yet, willing to allow them to try and help her in this war against Sombra, Then suddenly, she felt the Elements of Harmony finding new bearers to weld them. Hope is now shining within her perhaps there's still hope for Equestra's future.

Elijah, Twilight Sparkle, and Spike had just arrived at Sweet Apple Acres as they got closer both Twilight and Spike look at  with shock and confusion. It look vastly different then the Sweet Apple Acres in their present instead, of a large barn with plenty of apple trees are now replace with a large factory, with very few apple trees, and beside the factory is a small patch of corn. Twilight and Spike look at the now Apple Factory in distress this is not what they were hoping for; 

"Ohhh so this is were William works at. I never thought it to be a factory." Elijah spoked as he starts to look around with mild curiosity.

" Y-yeah neither did I." Twilight says with less enuthiusim as they took a closer look at the factory.

She used her hoove to wipe some of the dust of one of the windows and peered though the window, she gasped at what she saw. A large pot is bubbling, steaming as the apples are poured inside the pot cooking the apples inside preparing them into a liquid  which is, being poured in by rows of cans with hammers pounding the lids keeping the liquid sealed in.

There are two ponies  working inside the factory but with limit vision, Twilight could bearly  see who they are that is until a familar orange blond mare comeing  outside of the Apple Factory rolling the barrels into the cart is when Twilight approch the mare with glee.

"Applejack?!" She runs towards her then, she hugs Applejack glad to see one of friends is okay. It was shortlive as Applejack glances at her and remove Twilight off of her.

"What can I do for you?" Applejack asked as she keeps rolling the barrel.

" It's so good to see you we couldn't find Pinkie or Rarity or Fluttershy or Rainbow Dash." Twilight informed Applejack. " But I knew you'll still be here!"

" Of course I am this is my home." Applejack replies as she places the barrel in the cart. "But who in tarnation is Pinkie Bow and Flutter Dash?" She gave a confuse look before looking back at Twilight." Or you for that matter."

" You mean you don't remember me?" Twilight ask with sorrow in her voice.

" Nope, honestly the only one name I reconized is Rarity but, she left to Manehatten years ago" She informed her as she then notice Elijah. "And you must be one of William's friends ." 

" Yep! I'm Elijah nice to meet you." He kindly offers a handshake. Applejack smiles softly and shakes his hand with one of  her font hooves  before, going back to her work.

" Maybe Rarity become a famous fashion designer." Spike suggested.

" Not that I know of last I heard, she went to help with the cause like everypony else." Applejack replied.

" Do you know were William's location at least?" Elijah asked her.

" He's helping me with my deliveries he's at one the stops at the Foal's Protection House."

" I see. Okay! Then we'll go there first, thanks AJ! " He cheers happily.  Applejack gave the red clothed hylain a small smile . 

" Your welcome."

Twilight watches sadly as these two interact with each other, she knows it's a different present then the one she is used to,  but she can't  help but feel a ping of jealousy crawling within her. She frowned quickly dismissing  those negative feelings away from her mind, she needs to focus on the main task here! Wait, she remebered what Applejack said early " The cause?"

" The war with King Sombra and The Crystal Empire." Applejack answered. 

" What?!" Both Twilight and Spike shouted at the same time,Applejack look at them with shock but is quickly transform into suspiousion.

" Where have you two been?" 

" Actually it's when." Spike corrected.

" I know this hard to believe, but you and I and those other ponies I mention are friends." Twilight informed her.

Applejack gave Twilight a look of disbelief not really buying the explain that is giving to her" Did you bump your head on a crate of cider or something."

"I am telling you the truth! Come with me and I'll prove it." She insisted as she dragged both Applejack and Elijah with her magic. Elijah simpily shrugs his shoulders, not really minding the fact that he's been dragged along by the alicorn mare's magic.

" Well I admit I've been these parts for my whole life and I've never seen this before." Applejack says  as looks at the crystal map and the six ruined marble chairs.

"There's aslo suppose to be a castle that goes with it." Spike added.

" But I still don't see what this has to do with you and I being friends?" She says as she looks at Twilight with uncertainy.


" Another pony named Starlight Glimmer use this map to travel though time and change things in the past." Twilight explains seriously." For some reason the map's here but everything else is different." She felt confuse about this how can  such little chaange can cause a huge difference in the present.

" Different how?" Applejack asked her.

"Well; were we came from there's no war with King Sombra." she answered. Applejack look at map again as her ears lower and her eyes showing sadness. Twilight Sparkle gave her former friend a comfort smile."Maybe you can tell us how the war started then, we can figured out, what changed." she urged her gently, Spike looks at Applejack ready to listen what she has to say.

Applejack sighs. " That sounds easy enough."

As she explains how the war started Eljah hums in thought this whole  scenario sounds familiar. 'What's was it called again?' he thought to himself. 'Butter effect? No no butterfly..? Ah wait, i know what is called now, the butterfly effect!' Elijah smiled to himself, happy he figured out the name of the theory that is very well known. Unfortunetly, his thoughts were brought to a halt when, he heard Twilight speaking again.

" I just can't believe it, we stop King Sombra you, me, and all of our friends." 

" We aren't friends at least not here." Applejack says sombery.

" Right..." Twilight sighs sadly.

"Guys! I just thought of something!" Elijah's  sudden outburst  causes the two mares and the baby dragon jump in surpised.

"Was that really completey necessary?" Twilight hissed giving him an annoyed look.

" Sorry Twi-Twi." He apolopized as his face flushed in embassment. " Anyway, have any of you heard of the Butterfly effect?"

He was rewarded with both of the mares look at him in confuision rasing thier eyebrows at him.

" The what effect?" Twilight ask

" Is this one of your fancy talks?" Applejack deadpanned

Elijah shook his head "No, no  it's uh... how should I explain this; ( sighs) Noah's is better at explaining things then I do..."

" Remind me, Noah is one of you and William's friends searchin' right?"  she asked.

" Yes, but can you please let me finished my explanation as best as I can." he pleaded. Applejack nods letting him to contiune his explanantion.

" As I was saying Noah told us about the Butterfly Effect theory a while ago, if I recalled correctly the theory states, that tiny changes in the past can cause great conesquences in the present." he explained " This Starlight Glimmer is causing this effect not knowing the conesquences she's causing to the present."

Twilight eyes widen in fear knowing  that this brief explanantion  that is givin to her, can explain a lot of what's going on why the present changed so dramatictly. "We need to make things right!"

" Yep, and I'm going to help you Twi." He reassured her. "Let"s go!"

" Wait a moment Eljiah." Twilight says as she tugs him back with her magic as she then turns to Applejack. "Thank you."

"I hope this helps now, I gotta go back to canning those apples." She replies as looks at Elijah " Can you tell William I said hi for me while, your there?'

" Sure, AJ of course we will." He said

Applejack smile at him as she heads back to her work at the factory. As they watch her leave Twilight releases Elijah out of her magic grasp. 

" So, we need to head to the Foal's Protection House?" She asked.

" Yeah, but were's that Twilight and were do we go from here?" Spike asked back.

Elijah hummed in thought as he too is puzzled until, he notice fainted trails from a cart that had just left. " Guys, I found trails we can follow if my guess is right it might lead to were William is." he concluded.

" If that's the case; then that's what we will do come on everpony uh.. I mean everbody let's follow that trail!" She declared.

Twilight Sparkle, Spike, and Elijah  all followed the trail that'll lead to thier next destination to thier quest of ending the war and perhaps stopping Starlight Glimmer's plan.

Chapter 9



Meeting the Hero’s Shadow



Twilight Sparkle, Spike, and Elijah followed the trail of cart tracks leading to were William’s first stop is; The Foal Protection House. It took them a couple of hours of running of running to getting at least half way before tiring out, and resting at a pit stop.

“Are we almost there?” Spike asked, exhausted from running.

“Almost Spike just a couple miles away.” Elijah answered the tired baby dragon. “I don’t think running all the way to our destination is probably not a good idea, as two out of three of us tired easily.”

“Sorry I just don’t want to waste time, we need to get there as soon as possible.” Twilight respond to Elijah apologetically.

“I know Twi but, you need to relax panicking, won’t do you any good.” 

“How can I? Everything I know and love has change: My friends, Ponyville, and now a war with Sombra. She says, sounding very upset. “All because of Starlight Glimmer who wanted revenge against us for stopping her brainwashing ponies to her ideas of ridding cutie marks on anypony, who stumbled in ‘Her’ town.”

Elijah noticed immediately noticed that Twilight’s tail and mane starting smoking as soon as she told him about her plight, it seems like as if she’s trying to control her frustration, without her literally exploding in anger.

“Cutie marks?” he asked her changing the subject. Twilight body language immediately changes into frustration to surprised and confusion 

“You don’t know what a cutie mark are? Oh… that’s right you’re not form here.”  She had forgotten that Elijah is a human not a pony; the only humans who knew about Cutie Marks were the human versions of her friends and the former unicorn Sunset Shimmer. “Cutie marks are when a pony found their special talents; once they do, the mark will appear on a pony’s flank.” She explains. 

“So it’s like their identities?” Elijah conforms. “So, this Starlight is stealing cutie marks, taking away their uniqueness basically, everything that made the ponies of who they are. “ 

Twilight gives him a firm nodded. “Yes exactly. She would trick the ponies that come to her village to give away their cuties marks, and replace them with equal signs.  Then ‘convinces’ them into her views of equality. We were able to prove that she was lying and put a stop to her plans.”



“That sounds awful and now she’s getting back at you by using that time spell. Does she realizes what she’s doing is allowing this war to happen.”

“No, and that’s why we needs to stop her, but… now I’m doing this without my friends.” She sighs somberly. Suddenly Twilight felt Elijah’s arm gently wrapped around her shoulder comforting her.

“You won’t be doing this on your own; Twi-Twi you have me, my friends and Spike to help you though this.” He says optimistically then, he gently hugs her.

She smiles softly at him, she knew why the Element of Kindness choose him to be its bearer, she returns the hug, it wasn’t long until, they break off the hug so they can keep moving. Then they both heard Spike calling out while pointing what used to be were the school was at.

“I found it guys! The Foals Safe house place is over by that hill! ” He was waving his claws for them to see where he is.

“Great work Spike! She called backed. Now let’s continue on our way.” She says they run/galloped towards Spike’s direction passing over hill and by few minutes later, they all have arrived at the Foal’s Protection House. 

All three of them looked around with curiosity, Twilight recognized the building was originally the schoolhouse but, it’s a little bit bigger. She spotted Elijah happily knocking the door. She quickly runs towards him with a look of annoyance on her face. 

“What are you doing?!”

“Knocking the door of course.” The red clothed displaced hylian said casually.

“Ever pony is weary of us, we need to be more careful on how we approach them.”

“They’ll warm up to us eventually Twi nothing to worry about.” He knocks on the door again.

Before, Twilight could argue with the displaced human, the door opens slowly at first, revealing a familiar face of Cheerliee cautiously peer though door looking at Twilight Sparkle, and Spike warily; but when she took a look at Elijah her eyes sparks with curiously.

“Are you one of James’ friends?” She asks him.

“Yes I am” Elijah answers happily “Is William around here?”

The magenta earth pony shook her head softly “I’m afraid he has already left, he’s head towards Manehattten to make his delivery there. I’m Cheerliee I care for the foals here, while their parents are aiding in the war.”



‘So, that’s why the school turns into a shelter house’ Twilight thought to herself. Still, the thought of the war being caused by King Sombra, stills brought cold shivers down her spine. The fact that everpony is still miserable and suffering for so long makes her want to find a way out of this awful present. Yet, why didn’t she? ‘Why didn’t I use the spell and head back to past to tried to stop Starlight. So why did I stay?’ She wondered.

She turns her attention towards to Elijah whom is still speaking with Cheerliee. The Element of Kindness on his wrist is one of the reasons why, she stay put in this timeline. If they can gather the elements again, they can put a stop to Tyrant King. As for the other reason, a soft smile appears on her muzzle, perhaps its Red’s friendship with her thatis  keeping her going. 

She felt Spike shaking her shoulder trying to get her attention. “Yo, Twilight are you there? Cheerliee is letting us inside.”

Twilight return to reality after hearing this, with a sigh as she and her two companions enter inside the shelter. She noticed a large table with most of the fillies and colts sitting in their chairs they had just finished eating their lunch. She spotted three familiar fillies Scootaloo, Applebloom, and Sweetie Bellie chatting about their next activity. This confuses her is why the foals are still smiling and laughing during these dark times.

“How are they still remaining positive even though war is approaching?”She asked.

“Your going have to thank James for that, he’s been helping me since he got here, cheering up the children when they are upset.” Cheerliee gave a small smile as she says this. “If you’re wondering where he is at, he had to pick up Diamond Tiara and Sliverspoon from the playground.

Twilight sighs, while Diamond and Sliverspoon have redeemed themselves in her present, she doubts that they haven’t change yet in this new Sombra-verse; as she now calls it. “Those two are probably making things difficult for him.”

“In normal circumstances, I would have agreed with you however, that is not the cause something awful had happen and well Diamond needs time to heal.” Cheerliee told her sadly. 

Twilight showed a concern look on her face. ‘What happen did something bad happen to her?’ She thought anxiously. Her thoughts were interrupted when the doors suddenly opened up, three figures enter inside, two are familiar to her and Spike, and it was Diamond Tiara and Sliverspoon. Sliverspoon hasn’t change much expect her mane is a little messy, she seems to be comforting Diamond who is not wearing her tiara, her eyes are a bit puffy and red from crying, and she has sullen expression not even bothering to look at anypony. 

Something is wrong and it’s making Twilight uneasy, while Spike look at her in shock. “I wonder what happen to her?” He asked. 

“She’s been though a lot and certain things are better left unsaid.” Someone answered his question.


Everyone turn to the direction of the male voice which is similar to Elijah’s voice but not as high pitch but, rather a bit deep and husky. The party of three took a good look at the third figure who is also a human having the same blue eyes and long ears but that’s where the similarities have ended. Instead of blond hair like Elijah, the other human has purple hair, the clothes are different as well,  he is wearing a shadowy black tunic, the long hat is the similar color though, and she could have sworn that the hat moved on its own. He only carried a sword with a black gem on the sword handle. 

“Elijah! I’m so glad you’re here!”He runs towards him, relieved at seeing another familiar face.

“I’m just as glad as you are James.” Elijah replied, tears of joy flowing down at his face.

While James comforts his old friend he, then notices the newcomers a lavender pony with both a horn and wings with a purple star cutie mark and a purple and green lizard creature. He glances at them curiosity yet cautious as well.

“Who are you? What are your names?”

“I’m Twilight Sparkle and this is my longtime friend Spike.” She introduces herself and Spike to him.

“It’s nice to meet you.” Spike greets the shadowy human.

“Likewise. I’m sure you heard my name beforehand, it’s more polite to finish the introduction, my name is James.”

“What did you mean that whatever, happen that made Diamond Tiara so sad is better left unsaid?” Spike asked with a look of confusion on his face.

James winced and gave an uneasy look. “Let’s just say something bad happen to her father and leave it at that.”

Twilight noticed he dodged the question by giving a simple answered. ‘What bad thing could happen to Mr. Rich? “A sudden dread crawled in her mind and immediately thought of the worst. “ Did he perish?” She stuttered the question fear in her voice.

James looks at Twilight sadly and softly nods his head.  All three of them gasp in shocked, a look of horror and sadness is seen in all  of their faces.  Elijah simplely  gave the alicorn and the baby dragon space as the both of them  silently mourn a pony that lost their life in this dreadful timeline.

What about…” She sighs as she recalls a certain pony, that would she even consider being Diamond tiara’s mother after what happen. “Mrs. Rich?” She asks James a bit hesitation in her voice. Even though Spoiled Rich was mean, Twilight still wants to know at least what happen to her. 

A sudden chill shivers up to her spine when James eyes’ started to glow bright red with sheer anger. “She abandon Diamond Tiara and even outright telling her own daughter in her face that she’s no longer worthy in that spoiled mares eyes.” He growled.

The party of three gasp in horror at what they just heard. Twilight never thought Spoiled Rich would stoop this low as to abandon her daughter in the middle of a war no less; she uses Cadence breathing excuses slowly calming her and preventing her from exploding in rage.  “I nearly lost it, rarely do I lose my cool like this, hearing what that mare did my anger started to rise.”

“At least you calm yourself down that’s no easy task; even I had a hard time controlling my rage.” James replied. “Can you teach me that breathing technique you just preformed?”

Twilight’s eyes sparkle in glee, she is happy to teach somepony err… somebody, something new or to help someone in need.

“Alright, let me show you, place your hand on your chest inhale deeply” She demonstrates. “Then, remove your hand and slowly exhale.”

James copies what Twilight showed him as he does this, he felt more relax, his eyes turn back to blue, and his shadow magic recede.

“Thank you Twilight, for teaching it to me.” He thanked her.

“Your welcome “She gave James a warm smile in response.

“You need to come with us James we need your help.” Elijah explained frankly.

James frowned at his friend’s request. “I’m afraid not, the foals here at the protection shelter need me, especially Diamond Tiara.”

Elijah looks at James for a few minutes before, unrolling his sleeve to show James a pink gem glowing on his arm. James looks at it in shocked and unrolls his sleeve to reveal a glowing blue gem on his arm. Immediately Twilight Sparkle and Spike knew what the blue gem was. 

“Is that what I think it is?” Spike says as he points to the glowing blue gem.

“It is! That’s another one of the Elements of Harmony, The Element of Laughter!” She exclaimed.

“The element of what?” James asked giving her a confused look.

Twilight clears her throat as she begins to explain to him, what the Elements of Harmony are. 

“The Elements of Harmony are our one of the main defense to protect Equestria against certain enemies. There are six of them Honesty, Laughter, Generosity, Loyalty, Kindness, and Magic.” She informs the displaced Hylians. “I and my friends are their bearers and because of Starlight Glimmer messing and meddle with the timeline… They aren’t friends in this Sombverse present.” 

She sighs sadly. “Meaning that the elements don’t have their bearers and are still in dormant; that is until William and his friends appeared in Equestria. The elements seem to have chosen them as their new bearers, but… why is that though?”

“I think Noah may know more about Butterfly Effects and Alternate Universes then we do. Perhaps we can ask him about this.” James suggested.

“Yea…” Elijah nervously laughed as he rubbing his neck sheepishly. “I only told them a little about it.”

“I’m surprised you’ve remember even a little about that.” He teased playfully.

“H-hey! Noah’s explanations are long and have always put me to sleep many times.” Elijah answered defensively, while pouting at his friend’s teasing.

“You know I’m only teasing with you.”James chuckled amusingly.

“I know James.” His pout vanish into a playfully smile. “You are coming with us right?”

“I can’t “James says in dismay “I am needed here, I can’t come with you.”

“James go with them.” Cheerliee suddenly spoke up; as everyone turns their attention to her.

“But Cheerliee –“

“I’ll be fine; I can take it from here.” She smiles at the shadow hero ensuring. “If what the strange lavender mare says is true… “The magenta teacher now looks at Twilight Sparkle noticing her horn and wings; now sure of her decision. “You are needed to help your friends to finally defeat Sombra.”

James still looks unsure on what to do. The thought of leaving her alone after, when she kindly took him in didn’t feel right; on the other hand his friends are in dire need of his help. What should he choose? ‘What if Cheerlie is right?  What if my friends are trouble and are need of help? Yet I don’t to leave her alone to help and care the foals on her own and Diamond Tiara is still needs to recover from her grief.’ 

He ponders as he quietly looks at the light blue gem on his wrist. The thought of his five friends, Twilight and Spike trying and failing to stop the mad pony king and dying at hooves of Sombra whom laugh manically. That thought alone made the Shadow displaced shuttered and clench his fists out of fear and rage, he won’t allow that monster touch a single hair on his friends. He has made decision it was the hardest ones he had ever made.

“I’ll go with you, to help gather our friends and take down the tyrant king. But I’ll promise to return Cheerliee you can count on it”

She smiles softly. “Come back safety.”

He gently hugs her briefly goodbye. It wasn’t long until they heard a soft voice spoke up coming from a purple and pink filly, looking at James with sad eyes. 

“Are you going away?” Diamond Tiara asks nervously.

James smiled softly as he kneeled down to her level. “I’ll be back I promise.” 

“But what if you don’t, I can’t lose you like I lost daddy!” She whimpered.

“I will come back, I pinky promise. “He reassured her. 

Twilight Sparkle’s ears perk up at that the two familiar words, she looks at James with a hint curiosity. ‘How does he know of the pinkie promise?’She thought to herself.

“Pinky promise?” Diamond Tiara mumbled.

“Let me show you.” He held out his pinky finger. “Normally, pinky promises are when humans use their smallest finger to intertwine each other, as they make their promise to each other.” James chuckled sheepishly. “Since you ponies have only hooves instead of fingers we’ll just improvise, can you please hold out your hoof for me?” 

The light pink filly nodded and held out her hoof while, James held out his pinky finger and places on her hoof. Twilight watches this with interest. ‘So humans have their own version of a pinkie promise just named after their smallest finger on their hand.’ She concluded her thought.

James gave Diamond a soft hug , she let out a small sniffle as she hugs back. After a couple of minutes they break off the hug; James then walks towards to the group of three with a determined look on face.

“I'm  ready let’s go.”

“Alight! Group hug!” Elijah announces as he grabs Twilight, Spike, and James and pulled them in to a big hug.  “ Our journey continues.”  

Twilight wasn’t sure how to feel about the group hug, it felt nice but, it remind her too much of how her friends use to hug her the same way. ‘No.’ She thought ‘I can’t think like that. ‘  Lucky for her, the hug didn’t last long as the red clothed human lets them go and starts getting ahead of them. 

“Off to Manehatten!” He declared.

“Wait!” Twilight yells as she grabs him with her magic dragging him back to group before he gets himself lost in the wrong direction. “I think it’s best for me and Spike to lead you guys to Manehatten I know where the direction we need to go.” 

“I’m sorry Twi-Twi I got too excited.” He apologized.

Twilight couldn’t stay annoyed at him for long, it’s natural for him to get excite for finding one of your friends and know the location of where your other friends are at.  

“It’s fine” She reassured Elijah.

As they leave the Foal’s Protection House, James says his last goodbyes to the foals, the cutie mark crusaders, Diamond Tiara,  Sliverspoon,  and Miss Cheerlie. He hears Twilight calling his name; he quickly catches up to them. Now, a group of four is heading to Manehatten and to find their friend Noah and find the rest of elements of harmony to set things right and end this war.
