The Only Chapter
“So are you just going to stare or…?” Rainbow Dash asked curiously
Wallflower Blush jumped up at the sudden question, as she did not see her friend anywhere in sight. She stammered at this query as her cheeks became a rosy red. “U-um I-I was just…” She mumbled.
Rainbow Dash gave a knowing look as Wallflower gave her an angry and embarrassed glare. Rainbow knew exactly what was going on since Wallflower always acted a certain way around a certain bacon haired girl. It started Post-fall formal after she was blasted by, “friendship.” The way she could do something so cruel then be accepted by everybody so quickly made her so jealous. That envy then turned to lust as she was currently around the corner of the hallway definitely not ogling Sunset from the said corner. She was waiting for the perfect time to talk to Sunset since that was still on her non-existent to-do list.
But Wallflower apparently forgot about the conversation because she was to busy looking at Sunset’s flowing hair, beautiful eyes, and curved figure. She had always known she had liked girls, but the real question was did Sunset to?
“You still haven’t talked to her yet have you?” Rainbow asked breaking her out of her trance
Wallflower’s eyes went wide, since a week ago Rainbow had said, “If you don’t at least talk to her by next week, I’m going to tell her myself!”. Wallflower was thinking of an excuse, any excuse, but only an “I-I-I was-” was able to come out.
Rainbow started with a sigh, “Listen Blush, I know this is probably your first crush, right?” Rainbow asked
“Y-yes.” Wallflower’s head sagged as she had no idea how to deal with a crush before.
“Well, since you are friends with me, Rainbow Dash, I’ll tell you what you need to do to talk to Sunset without getting embarrassed or whatever.” Rainbow dash said puffing her chest out.
“Y-you’re not going to tell her?” Rainbow shook her head, and Wallflower let out a sigh of relief. “So where do we start?”
“Wallflower, all you have to do is introduce yourself, become friends, and then when you feel the time is right, you have to go up to her and say “hey let’s make out, and then after we go back to my place and hav- OW!” she complained loudly as Wallflower pushed her, while also causing a confused Sunset to look left and right before walking to her next class.
“R-Rainbow! She almost saw me!” Exclaimed Wallflower. At this exclamation Rainbow simply shrugged.
“Eh it won’t matter in the long run cuz I promise we will find a way for you to win Sunset’s heart!”
Wallflowers embarrassed and angry glare turned into a grin as her friend spoke those words.
After this conversation, Wallflower and Rainbow Dash went to their respective classes. Both of the girl’s classes were extremely boring, seeing as they were in high school. Wallflower didn’t pay much attention in class. The reason being a certain Bacon haired girl that sat right next to her. ‘She’s so beautiful, and she’s not even doing anything. I wish I had the honesty of Applejack so I could tell her how I feel, and I wish I was as beautiful as Rarity so she would look at me like I look at her.’ Wallflower thought before dropping her head on her desk while listening to the teacher.
Rainbow Dash’s class was boring just like Wallflower’s, but unlike her Rainbow didn’t even know if she was in the right class, but she didn’t care as she was too busy holding hands under her desk with a certain pink haired shy girl. While holding hands with Fluttershy, Rainbow couldn’t help but think about her friend Wallflower and her crush Sunset Shimmer. ‘Good thing I know exactly what to do because I am the one and only Rain…’ But she was unable to finish her thought as she was interrupted by Mrs. Cherilee.
“Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy! I understand you two are dating, but can you please pay attention in class next time?” Mrs. Cherilee said as they looked away blushing.
“Y-yes ma’am.” They both said in unison. Everyone in the class either gave disgusted glares or teasing grins.
After the bell rang Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Wallflower all went to Sugarcube Corner to hang out. They mostly talked about the upcoming prom in a few weeks. Due to the approaching events, Rainbow was practically forced to bring up the conversation on Wallflowers crush on Sunset. “So, Wallflower, I know what you need to do to tell Sunset you like her.”
Wallflower was now blushing again as the mere thought of Sunset put butterflies in her stomach. “Yea I know I need to talk to her first.” Wallflower said sarcastically
“Well, yea. You can’t just walk up to her and tell her you like her.”
“Um, Rainbow? She could send her a love letter as I did to you.” Fluttershy stated
‘ugh, Fluttershy why do you always come up with better ideas than me?!’ Rainbow thought. “Yeah, that’s what I was going to say, heh.” She said
“Well, I don’t know the first thing about making a love letter since I’ve never had a crush before.” Wallflower stated
“Don’t worry I know right where to start. C’mon Rainbow!”
“But Shy, we didn’t even buy a smoothie- oh whatever!” Rainbow said with a grin
Sunset had just got back from her last class as she opened her locker and saw a strange note. Before looking left and right for any prying eyes she picked it up and read it.
‘Dear Sunset Shimmer,
You’re the bright spot in my day, Sunset. I think I could almost say that I love you. Yes! I will say it. But I’m still not brave enough to tell you. Maybe, after I’ve worked up the courage, I’ll ask you out for a drink or a meal. We could meet at Sugarcube Corner and get to know each other over a long, leisurely dinner. Maybe if we were sitting across the table from each other, I wouldn’t be so shy and would be able to tell you how I feel. And you could tell me all about your life — your hopes, your dreams, your goals.

Sunset was so many emotions. She was confused, happy, and excited, but most of all she knew what she had to do after school. She gasped as she started to put the pieces together.
Wallflower was once again behind a corner, watching to see if Sunset was just going to throw the note away, and to Wallflower’s surprise, she didn’t. ‘She probably thinks I’m a stalker, doesn’t she? WAIT THIS ISN’T STALKING IS IT?’ Wallflower thought as she began to panic.
After school ended, Sunset had waited outside of school to see who her secret admirer could be. Although she did have one sneaking suspicion on who they were. After reading the note multiple times during class she came to the conclusion that her secret admirer was most likely a girl. This did not bother Sunset being since she was bisexual and enjoyed the company of both men and women. Due to this conclusion, she looked at every girl and thought she was okay with anybody here being her secret admirer, but after looking, she was down to one person.
Sunset opened the door to Canterlot high and saw a girl with green hair walking down the hallway. She took a deep breath before walking up to the green haired girl. ‘If I’m wrong about this, I will never live it down,’ she thought before walking up to Wallflower, turning her around, and planting a kiss right on her lips.
Wallflower stood wide-eyed. She was a lot of emotions right now. Surprised, confused, happy, but most of all lust filled.
Sunset then broke away from the kiss and said, “Me, you, Sugarcube corner after school.”
“W-w-what? But h-how did you know?” Wallflower asked, obviously confused.
“Well,” Sunset said before getting close to Wallflowers ear. “This might sound strange, but I have mind-reading powers, and when I touch someone with my geode on, I can read their mind.”
Wallflower cringed before realizing stranger things have happened in this school.
“Yeah. I know its weird. Anyway, I accidentally touched Rainbow Dash during lunch yesterday and saw everything.”
Wallflower blushed before stammering “I-I’m sorry Sunset, I know you don’t like me ba- “
“Shh.” She said before pecking Wallflower on the lips again. The kiss was quick but enough to silence the green haired girl. “Do you really think I would have just walked up to you and kissed you if I didn’t like you back?”
“Oh...right... heh.”
Sunset chuckled “Well see you in class!” She said before kissing Wallflower on the blushing cheek.
“Y-yea, s-see you, after class.” Said Wallflower in a somewhat dreamy tone. Wallflower didn’t remember what happened in class that day because she was too busy looking at a certain red-haired girl. The entire school day she was only able to think about how she actually had someone that cared about her enough to want to go out with her.
