Monsters
Somewhere In the Everfree forest
I was sleeping peacefully like I haven't in years with no worries about the world and my surroundings. But the peace was disturbed by those damn singing birds, the loud rustling of leaves from the trees and the shine of the sun. The sound brought me back from my sleep to reality. I groaned as the bright lightening sun was piercing through my slowly opening eyelids.
My eyes opened and saw beauty all around me an overgrown forest completely untouched by humankind. I held in my left hand my long blade that i don't ever let out of my site while my white with black spot hat laid on my exposed chest.
'why am I' was the question on my mind. It has been a few months in this new world and I'm already wanted. Just because i look like a monster and have teeth like one makes me evil, well maybe attacking those guard ponys didn't help but still.
"Tch, damn them all. I'm no monster, I'm the damn Law." i mumbled before standing. Seeing the birds fly off into the sky made me think of home, and the new episodes of One Piece.
I picked myself off the ground and sighed as I placed my hat on my head now. "Alright training time, still need to get my power under control." I said to myself as I held up like right hand up.
"R O O M!" I yelled as a white blue doom appeared around the area I was in trying my best to hold it in place, but after a few seconds it went away as I breathed heavily.
"Damn, keeping that up really took all that? I'm too weak!" i said as i punched a near by tree. "I need more power, need to get stronger!" i said while looking down before sighing.
"Maybe going to the near by town would be a good idea, still got some gold from that last town." and with that i haded off to the nearest town. While on my way i ran into what i locals call timberwolfs. There not that much trouble but hell they won't stay down.
"Stay down you damn dogs!" I yelled swinging my blade down on the new formed Timberwolf cutting it in two. I turned fast enough to see a Timberwolf bite my arm as I yell in pain trying to get it off. It's jaw locked on my arm as i held off the other wolfs with my blade before slicing the wolf on my arm right off before making a break for it down the road.
Seeing a what looks like old building, I run towards it before looking back and not seeing any wolfs after me, I started to slow down. After the actually more calming walk through the broken down gate, I looked around my new surroundings to find ... Nothing... no literary nothing because everything was fallen apart, but shrugged it off as I groaned in pain looking at my injured arm as I gently but roughly used my blade to get all the wooden tooths out of my flesh.
"Stupid Stupid, I should have been on my guard more." I said while looking at my arm but after a few seconds of peace a loud sound of something exploding came from afar and shook the ground under him.
"The hell was that." I questioned as I ran out the old building and seeing smoke not that far. "I should check it out."
With that I bandaged my arm with a clothe in my coat and walked off towards the large cloud of smoke. I fought some more Timber wolfs on my way before stopping at the edge of the forest seeing a rather large village with smoke coming from it.
"Let's take a look."
After a bit of spectating i saw many monsters holding the villagers captive which where most ponys. They all looked scared for their lives and a few of them were crying as if they would die.
'Tch, this makes me sick, sure i steal and injure a few guards but killing anyone? Only those who are true scum, but this! This is madness!' I yelled in my head as I sneaked into the town seeing a bunch of guards on the ground groaning in pain.
Watching the small group of hostages a large tall monster walked in front of the ponys as it laughed.
"Congratulations ponys! Your all were chosen to be food for our lord!" the leader of the attackers said as most of the ponys cried in fear while I held my sword roughly. Than the monsters started to make the ponys get on there hoofs.
I groaned and ran out of my hiding spot pulling out my blade I rammed it threw the back of the first monster attacker as he roared in pain before pulling out my blade as he fell dead the others looked at me glaring as they roared and ran towards me.
I ran forward and swung my blade at the nearest monster cutting it's head clean off, I was smacked back by a monsters war hammer but i blocked it just in time not taking any battle damage as I slid back on the ground.
While I and the monsters fought off on the side I failed to see six ponys sneak by and start taking the ponys to safety.
"Y'all think we should help that creature? The one fighting off those nasty monsters off while he help the others?" asked a orange furr pony with a cowboy hat and three apples on her flank.
"Buck yeah! Look at him go! I wanna join the fun!" a blue furr pegasus yelled with a rainbow mane.
A loud cry of pain cut the two off as Law was thrown back by a monster as his blade stabbed into the wood of a house while Law laid on his back breathing heavily and holding his arm.
"Let's go Rainbow! He needs our help!" the orange mare said as they both charged at the monsters.
Watching from afar with the now safe ponys a purple mare started writing a letter.
'Dear Princess Celeista-'
