She stretched and turned over, re-adjusting the covers as she did so. She paused, allowing her mind a moment to evaluate her situation. She was in her bed. Not an atypical scenario, with one exception: She didn't remember going to bed. Moreover, she couldn't remember going to bed naked. Again, not an uncommon thing for her—in the summer. The world outside was in mid-fall, with winter coming fast around the corner, and, without her equine fur coat, Sunset Shimmer had employed flannel pajamas to help keep herself warm.

She reached over to her bedside table, groping for her phone. Instead, her hand landed on something else. She held the object for an instant, squinting at it in the dim light that filtered in from the streets below her apartment. It didn't take long to realize what it was. She replaced the eyeglasses and continued looking for her phone with now a new question lurking in her mind. 'What did we do last night?'

There was a rustle from under the sheets, as her companion stirred. Sunset finally found her phone and checked the time. Five forty-seven a.m. She rubbed her face. The last time she had checked the time, it had been eleven. She found it odd that she had no remembrance of anything between.

Sunset lifted the covers slightly to view her bed partner. Sure enough, there was Twilight Sparkle, fast asleep just inches from her. Also, completely naked. Sunset smiled as she took a brief moment to make a mental note on how cute her girlfriend looked. How peaceful and content to be sleeping beside her lover.

She hated to do what she had to do. But, she needed answers; and she needed answers now.

“Twilight,” she said gently, nudging the sleeping girl. “Twi. C'mon, baby, wake up.”

Twilight mumbled something in the Slumberland tongue and rolled over. That's when it hit Sunset's nose; a certain odor that permeated from the sheets. Sunset recognized it and a frown crossed her lips. She covered Twilight back up, grabbed her bathrobe, and went downstairs.

The splash of cold water to the face felt refreshing. Sunset didn't mind that the apartment heat hadn't turned on yet. All the coldness surrounding her helped her to wake up. She looked into the bathroom mirror and tried to compose herself. Yet, that was hard to do. “Coffee” she mumbled, “I need coffee.”

Within minutes the gurgle of the coffee maker could be heard and the aroma of fresh coffee filled the air. Sunset took her cup and disposed of the used pod. Black morning nectar in hand, she sat in her desk chair. With each sip, her mind became more alert and started asking more questions.

Time passed slowly in the still darkness of the studio apartment. Sunset wasn't exactly sure how long she had been up. She began to formulate a calculation based upon the sunlight that was beginning to peek through the apartment windows. She also surmised that she was on her third cup. Finally, above her, she heard Twilight stirring. Sunset sipped her coffee and listened as the other girl sleepily descended the stairs.

“Good morning!” she smiled, wiping the sleep from her eyes, “Bit chilly in here. I thought you programmed the thermostat to start at seven on Saturdays.”

Sunset said nothing, but sipped her coffee. She eyed Twilight. The younger girl had clad herself in a pair of pajamas—the flannel ones Sunset kept folded under her pillow.

Twilight's smile quickly faded. “Okay, you're obviously not awake yet.” She pointed to the coffee machine, “I'm gonna make myself a cup. You want another?” She went into the cupboard and grabbed a mug for herself and a new one for Sunset. Loading in the coffee pod and water, she watched as the machine did its work and poured out a fresh cup of coffee. She handed the fresh brew to Sunset.

Sunset, however, ignored the new cup. Instead, taking another sip from her initial, which she had just emptied.

Twilight set the cup on the desk and returned to prepare her own. She looked back hesitantly at her girlfriend. Something was wrong. Something was off. It unnerved her.

Focusing on the coffee machine, Twilight tried to push the to the back of her mind. She fumbled with the machine for a moment before slamming her hands down on the counter. “What is it?” she yelled, “What's with this silent treatment?”

Sunset pursed her lips and played with the empty cup in her hands. “You tell me. I wake up this morning in a situation I don't recall going to bed in.” She ran her finger around the rim and spoke very calmly. “Twilight, what did we do last night?”

Twilight was taken aback. “What?”

“What did we do last night?”

Twilight said nothing, but returned to the coffee machine. “I'm-I'm not quite sure what you mean.”

“Really?” Sunset's voice was a bit more forceful, “How did we end up naked in my bed? And why do my sheets have the smell of...Why do they smell of sex?” She paused and fiddled her hands a bit. “Did we?” she asked, softly.

“Did we...?”

“Did we have sex?”

Twilight averted her gaze, but, in doing so, gave Sunset her answer.

The fiery-haired girl took in another deep breath. She counted silently in her head—a technique well-proven to curb her temper. Despite the feelings raging within her, she knew her next words needed to be calm. Everything depended on this one note.

“You seem to have a better memory than me of last night.” Not quite the tone she was aiming for, but much better than the alternative, “Care to fill me in? How about let's start with why I don't remember. Surely, that can be easily explained.”

Twilight turned way. She couldn't look her lover in the face. Her stomach churned. What may have been a good idea hours, even days, ago, certainly didn't seem like such a good idea now. This was most certainly not the effect she wanted.

“Twilight,” Sunset's voice was softer, “I'm not upset. I just want to know. Please, tell me.”

Twilight took a sip of her coffee. Anything to keep her from tearing up. “Well,” she began, “I may have given you something last night.”

“Given me what?”

“A little concoction of mine.” Twilight quickly took another sip of sweltering coffee to keep from saying more. The burning on her tongue and throat was nothing compared the pain growing in her heart.

“What 'concoction'?” Sunset pressed.

“Oh, nothing” Twilight let out a nervous giggle and twirled her hair. 'Nothing' was an understatement and far from the truth. She moved to adjusting her glasses. “Just a little mixture of arginine, tribulus terrestris, and ginseng. Maybe a little cocaine...”

Sunset blinked in disbelief. “What?”

“It was an aphro—”

“A what? An aphrodisiac?” Sunset almost laughed at the preposterous notion, “Celestia, Twilight! That's not an aphrodisiac! I don't think I could even tell you what that is! What made you think this was a good idea? What possessed you to even conceive this?”

“Look, I get it” Twilight raised her hands, trying to calm her girlfriend. “I can see you're mad.”

“Mad?” Sunset yelled, “Mad! I'm beyond 'mad'! Of all the things you could have... You drugged me? I'm disappointed, Twilight!” Her speech slowed as her voice began to calm, “I'm disappointed in you because I thought you were a far better person than that.” She turned around and leaned on the desk, taking in deep breaths; using all her strength to hold back. She focused on slower, softer words. “Seems, I was wrong.”

“Sunset...” Twilight reached out to touch her arm, but Sunset pulled away.

“Get out” she said, softly, but her tone was firm.

Twilight silently set her cup on the counter and returned upstairs to get dressed. When she came back down, she saw that Sunset hadn't moved. The silence unnerved Twilight, but she knew it was best not to say anything. She walked past the kitchenette to the apartment door. As she put her hand on the knob, she heard Sunset's gentle voice.

“Can you get home okay?”

There was a twinge in her heart and Twilight fought everything to keep from crying. Sunset always asked that when she left. “Yeah,” Twilight said, hoarsely. She looked to Sunset. The other girl only nodded, but never made visual contact with her.

Closing the door behind her, Twilight lingered for a moment. She placed an ear to the door. Silence reigned within. She made the long, slow trek to the bus stop, refusing to allow her emotions to overcome her. However, sitting upon the bench, Twilight's strength failed.

Monday morning greeted Canterlot City with the promise of a new work week and Twilight, for the first time in her life, dreaded the thought of going to school. The thought of skipping had crossed her mind, but she knew her parents would have nothing of it. Hence, she was forced to spend the day in the same building as Sunset Shimmer—her, now possibly, ex-friend.

With guilt, she was thankful they didn't share any classes this semester. Any other day before, she would have pouted that she didn't get to see her girlfriend during the school day, outside of lunch.

Secretly, she hoped she would see Sunset between classes. If, for any reason, but to apologize. Still, something told Twilight just an apology wouldn't do.

After a Sunset-less morning, Twilight made her way to the daily luncheon fair. With great pain and anxiety, she looked around the cafeteria. Her other friends had already gathered themselves at their usual table. They waved to her and she walked over to join them. “Has anyone seen Sunset?” she said with hesitation.

There was a collective shaking of heads around the lunch table.

“Nope” replied Applejack, her mouth full of steamed veggies, “Didn't show up for home room, neither.”

Rainbow pulled out her phone and began taping at the screen. “I've been trying to get a hold of her all weekend. We're supposed to sign up for the online video game tournament. But,” she leaned to Applejack, “it's not too late.”

“I've told ya, Dash,” replied the farm girl, “I'm busy that weekend. Otherwise, ya know I'd be on yer team.”

“I haven't heard from her all weekend, either” said Fluttershy, “Which is odd. Usually, she texts me if she can't show up.”

Twilight's brow furled when she remembered that Sunset volunteered a few hours at the animal shelter every Saturday afternoon. With this new revelation, now something else troubled her. “Wait, none of you have heard from Sunset all weekend? Did you even bother to stop by her apartment?”

“Well,” Rarity hesitated, “we didn't want to intrude...”

“Yeah,” continued Pinkie with a goofy grin, “the way you two were Friday night, we figured you'd be spending the weekend together.”

Twilight slumped in her seat.

The other girls looked at each other in mixed confusion.

“Ya two didn't spend the whole weekend tagether, did ya?” asked Applejack.

Twilight silently shook her head.

“Oh dear...” gasped Rarity. She took Twilight's hands in her own. “Don't worry, sweetie. You two have had your lover's spats in the past, but have always bounced back.”

“Yeah,” smiled Rainbow, “just give her some space to cool off and you'll be back to sucking face in no time.”

“I don't think so.” Twilight's face turned downcast and hugged herself. “Not this time...”

A resounding bang reverberated through the dining hall. Everyone turned towards to commotion to see that the cafeteria doors had been flung open and a very menacing figure standing in the doorway. She scanned the area, scouring for her victim. Finding her target, she stepped into the room, making a beeline for a table near the back wall. Students standing in her way quickly vacated. By the way she moved, she was a woman on a mission and would destroy anyone, and anything, that stood in her way. Soon, she came upon the table seating Twilight and her friends.

Rainbow gave a weary smile and wave. “H-ey, Starlight Glimmer!”

Starlight ignored Rainbow Dash for the moment. She stood across the table from Twilight, drilling holes into the girl with her eyes. She leaned in, slamming her hands down on the melamine surface. “What did you do?” Her voice was deep and stern.

Twilight gulped. “Um...”

“Sunset wrote to us early Saturday, begging to come back to Equestria. Said she couldn't stay in this world any longer. I can tell you: I was not prepared for the pony that came through that portal! So, I'm going to ask again: What. Did. You. Do?”

“Wait,” interjected Applejack, “it took ya all weekend fer Princess Twilight to send ya here?”

“Twilight doesn't know I'm here.” Starlight's gaze never left the human Twilight. “I slipped through first chance I could.” She took in an irritated breath. “I'm waiting, Twilight Sparkle. What happened between you two? Sunset refuses to talk. So, you're my only other source.”

“How do you know it's my fault?” Twilight spat. She didn't know why she took such a defensive stance. At the time, it seemed her only option.

Starlight's stone facade cracked. “I don't—not for certain. But, she wouldn't have come crying back to Equestria if it didn't have something to do with you.”

Twilight hung her head, defeated. A new wave of guilt flashed over her. She sniffled lightly and wiped the tears welling in her eyes. “Okay,” she mumbled, “I suppose it would have all come out eventually. But, can we please move to a place more private?”

---

There was a thick silence in the room as the girls began to process the tale Twilight had bestowed upon them.

Pinkie sat in shock. “Oh, fuck...”

“You seriously thought that was okay?” yelled Rainbow, “That's seriously not okay! That's, like, rape!”

“It not like rape, darling,” corrected Rarity, pausing a moment to clear her throat, “IT IS FUCKING RAPE!”

A fury burned in Fluttershy's eyes as they filled with tears. “Twilight!” she cried, “How could you?”

Applejack remained back and slowly adjusted her stetson as she released a long, drawn-out “Shit...”

Starlight sat on the music room risers. Her hands had balled into hooves and were rubbing her temples in a circular motion. She clenched her jaw and relaxed. Eventually, she spoke very slowly: “What possessed you to even remotely consider that, was in any way, a good idea?”

Twilight shuffled in her spot at the middle of the room. She had been asking herself the exact same question the past few days. She stared down at her feet. She had no answer. At least, not one they would accept.

“Why would you even need do this?” asked Pinkie, “Haven't you and Sunset been having enough sex?”

Twilight hugged herself. “We've never actually had sex.” She was instantly met with blank looks.

The air broke with Rainbow's laughter. “Oh, that's good! You almost had me there.” She wiped the tears from her eyes as she proceeded to be backhanded and hat-whacked by Rarity and Applejack, respectively.

“You're serious, aren't you?” asked Fluttershy.

Twilight only stared at her shoes.

“I find that real hard to believe” said Rainbow, “I mean, we all thought Sunset was banging your brains out just as she did with Flash.”

Twilight opened her mouth, but Applejack continued:

“Yeah, no one would dare call her out on it, but Sunset was quite tha slut back in tha day.”

“'Slut' generally implies multiple partners” Rarity clarified, “Plus, not like they were very secretive about it.”

“It's still not a very nice word...” Fluttershy scolded, though it was no more than a mumble.

Pinkie poured over the results of her mobile web search. “You said she doesn't remember, but, how is that possible? None of those ingredients you mentioned have that side effect. Well, maybe, expect for the coke.”

“I don't understand, either” replied Twilight, pinching her bridge of her nose. “Maybe something in the binding agent I used, or, perhaps, in the delivery method. I've been double-checking my notes...”

Starlight couldn't believe what she was hearing. “I think you're completely missing the gravity of the situation here!”

“You think I'm just brushing this off?” yelled Twilight, she blinked as her eyes began to sting, “Do you think I feel pride in what I've done? I've barely slept since that morning.”

“It's a wonder you can sleep at all” Fluttershy said flatly.

“I'm just as hurt as she is.” Tears ran down Twilight's cheeks, “You know what, she's not even mad at me. She's disappointed. Disappointed! That's the worst thing you can say to anyone! Sunset is disappointed with me...”

“She ain't the only one.” Applejack walked past Twilight to the door, “I need some air.” Rarity and Fluttershy followed, each glancing back at Twilight before exiting the room.

Twilight struggled to comprehend their expressions.

“Wow...” Starlight broke the air with a heavy sigh, “you really screwed that one up.”

“How is she?” asked Twilight.

Starlight took in a deep breath and leaned forward. She flexed and rubbed her hands—still foreign and extremely interesting to her. “Hurt. She's hardly left her room, or her bed. We've tried feeding her, but she refuses to eat. Spike and I have mostly had to take care of her. She can hardly bare to look at Princess Twilight.”

Just when Twilight thought she couldn't feel any worse. Now, she may also be responsible for destroying a friendship as well? “Is there any way I can speak to her?”

“I'm sure Princess Twilight would have no problems letting you through the portal. But, even then, I can't guarantee Sunset would be up for talking. You broke her heart, Twilight. I hope you realize that.”

“How about a letter?” the girl pleaded, “If I write something, could you deliver it?”

Starlight nodded.

“What do you have in mind?” asked Pinkie.

“I'm not sure” sighed Twilight, “But, I know I really hurt her and, quite possibly, ruined our relationship—and our friendship.” She looked up to see the other girls in the room. “Though, I wonder now about this friendship...”

“Pinkie said it best” replied Rainbow, “We're a pretty forgiving group.”

The party girl slumped, remembering her words in the mall several months back. “I don't know about this time” she shook head, “This may take a bit more time. Really, we're all really worried about Sunset right now.” She let out a frustrated growl. How she wished she could jump through that portal and throw Sunset the biggest comfort party she could.

“You'll keep us updated?” Rainbow asked.

Starlight nodded. “I'll come over whenever I can. But,” she turned to Twilight, “I'll need to be returning soon.”

“Right” Twilight rifled through her bag for a notepad, “I'll quickly write that letter.”

---

Starlight shook as she exited the portal. Thankfully, Princess Twilight had done some maintenance and she wasn't thrown across the room, like Sunset was when they first met. Still, she had the re-adjustment of her body to deal with. She quickly searched her saddle bag and pulled out the letter human Twilight had given her.

“You're back!” Starlight looked up to see Spike smiling towards her. “You know what happened?”

Starlight replaced the letter in her pack and sadly nodded. “But, I'll have to tell you later. How is she?”

“Not any better” the little dragon looked glum, “She's asleep now. Didn't even bother looking at her lunch. Starlight? I'm starting to worry...”

The unicorn put a comforting hoof on the dragon. “So are we all, Spike.”

Twilight paced back and forth at the statue's base. She took in multiple deep breaths, trying to calm herself.

Princess Twilight had set up a time for her human counterpart to pass through.

That only added to this Twilight's anxiety.

It wasn't enough coming face-to-face with Sunset for the first time in four days, but there was also the excitement of transporting to an alternate dimension. Throw on top the transformation that comes with it, and Twilight was beginning to feel a little more than overwhelmed.

She looked to the group of girls that had gathered around. Like her, they were bundled up and moving in place, trying to keep warm in the chilly fall evening air.

Twilight wondered how they could move forward. Her actions Friday night had deeply affected their small band. While they still continued to hang around her, Fluttershy and Rarity had dissolved to give her the silent treatment. Rarity, she could stand. However, Fluttershy, who was normally quiet, was absolutely terrifying. The others seemed to tolerate her. Twilight wondered if maybe they pitied her because she would be alone otherwise.

She was aware of the incident in the previous school year where they had abandoned Sunset over a series MyStable posts. Though the accusation against Sunset proved to be false, the girls still seemed to hold some guilt from the episode. Perhaps it was this guilt that kept them from leaving. Still, unlike Sunset, Twilight was rightfully convicted of her crime.

A white glow from the base drew Twilight from her thoughts. The stone rippled as if it were water. Twilight watched, mesmerized. She jumped back when a figure popped out. Again, another reason to be amazed. Twilight adjusted her glasses as she viewed an alternate version of herself. She had an inward chuckle as she watched the pony princess adjust to her new form. “...and people think me awkward...”

She walked up to greet the Princess of Friendship. “Thanks for letting me pass through.” she smiled.

“No problem” waved the princess, “Anything if it means helping out you and Sunset. I just hope you know what you're doing.”

The human Twilight gulped and hid behind her scarf. She had a slight idea of what she was doing. But, she dared not tell anybody, or anypony.

“Well” continued pony Twilight, “Starlight is waiting for you on the other side. She'll take you Sunset.”

“Wait, you're not coming?”

The princess shook her head. “Don't want to risk anypony seeing us. Two of us running around in any given world at the same time is bound to get some attention. Besides,” she smiled to the others, “I'm in need of a break and this gives me some time to catch up with the girls!”

“Just send us a text when you get back” said Applejack.

“Okay,” Twilight observed the portal with trepidation “so...what do I...?”

“Just step through like it's any other doorway” instructed the princess, “You may want to lean a little forward when you do, it makes transitioning a little easier.”

“Right,” nodded Twilight, looking down at her hands and giving them a little flex. “hooves...” It wasn't but half a year ago that she first experienced a pony body. Despite the prior knowledge, it didn't help her feel any better. She took in a deep breath and, bowing slightly, took a step.

With the human Twilight gone, the pony Twilight turned to the group. “So, what happened between those two? Starlight knows, but she refuses to tell me.”

Rainbow put an arm around the princess' shoulders as they made their way towards the Sweet Shoppe. “Trust us, it's better if you don't know.”

“Funny, that's exactly what she said...”

---

As the princess had said, Starlight was waiting on the other side of the portal for the human Twilight to come through. Twilight landed on her front hooves with a grunt. She closed her eyes and took a moment to allow her brain and new body to align. She felt something on her shoulder. Opening her eyes, Twilight saw that Starlight had placed a hoof on her, trying to help her steady.

Starlight gave a smile. “Welcome to Equestria.”

“T-thanks.” Twilight adjusted her glasses. An often instinctual, natural action now seemed alien and challenging. She studied her hoof in wonder as Starlight let out a laugh.

“It takes some time to adjust. Trust me, you'll be walking like one of us in no time.”

“That's what Sunset said last time.” Twilight said, “Doesn't make this time any easier.” She took a walk in a small circle, trying to view the rest of her body. 'All my things are still horse things.' She studied her back. '...and still no wings.'

“I thought you had species that were similar to us in your world” said Starlight.

“We do. Still doesn't make it not weird. Have you no humanoids over here?”

The unicorn shrugged. “If there are, or were, no one has ever seen or made mention of them.”

“Interesting...” Twilight made a mental note for later. “So,” she pawed the floor, a new gesture which only seemed natural, “Sunset...”

Starlight's expression fell briefly, but she quickly regained her gentle smile. “She's in her room. Here, I'll show you.” She turned and lead the way out of the library and down a long hall.

“How is she?”

“No change. I'm afraid she's shutting down.”

Twilight felt her ears fall.

“Well,” Starlight stopped in front of a door, “this is it. I'll be downstairs if you need anything.” She placed a sympathetic hoof on Twilight as she walked away.

Twilight stared at the door for a while, gathering her courage and thoughts. She had spend the past few days thinking about what she would say to Sunset, but now, only a few feet away, all words failed her. Slowly she raised a hoof and, with a deep breath, knocked on the door.

She brought an ear to the door and listened. Silence. Maybe, Sunset didn't hear. Twilight tried again. This time, a groan sounded from within. “Go away.”

“Sunset...” Twilight's voice quivered.

“Not now, princess.”

Twilight's heart sped up and her mouth grew dry. Everything hinged on her next words. All within her conflicted to pursue or to flee. “I'm...” She reached deep and found her resolve. “I'm not the princess.”

There was silence again. Twilight could hear her heart pounding in her ears. She jumped when she heard a click and a creak as the door opened slightly. “Twilight?”

Twilight nervously pranced in place. “H-ey, Sunset...”

The door opened a little more and Twilight's heart jumped to her throat with a gasp as she viewed the pony within. The features were there, but this a far cry from the Sunset Shimmer she knew, human or pony. This pony looked tired and frail. “Sunset!”

“Wha-what are you doing here?” Even her voice wasn't the same. Gone was warm and melodic speech she once knew. What sounded from the pony's lips was raw and scratchy.

Twilight struggled to keep from choking on her tears. “Can we talk? Please?”

Sunset paused for a moment, then weakly nodded before opening the door fully to allow Twilight entrance. She followed Sunset into the dark room. Looking around she was curious so see how ponies furnished their rooms. To her surprise, it was rather empty. Maybe a piece of further here or there, but mostly open floor. She stopped when Sunset sat down on a rug in the middle of the room and motioned for the other pony to join her. Twilight looked around in confusion.

“Different bodies, Twilight,” Sunset said dryly.

“Oh, right...” The new pony took an awkward seat on her haunches. Finding it uncomfortable, she stood, walked in a circle and sat back down.

“So,” Sunset said, “you wanted to talk?”

“You haven't answered my letters.” Twilight blurted. It wasn't the first thing she wanted to say, but that is all she could get out.

“I haven't read them.”

Twilight's heart sank.

“I'm sorry,” Sunset rubbed the back of her head, “Yeah, sorry... I've been meaning to... just...” She looked away.

“It's okay.” Twilight smiled, “I get it.” It was a lie. But, if it helped Sunset open up, she would allow it.

“So?”

Twilight was pulled from her thoughts. “Well,” she teetered between her fore-hooves. She closed her eyes, wracking her brain to find the words that matched the emotions her heart was screaming. “I'm sorry” she stammered, tears welling in her eyes, “I'm sorry for what I did. I'm sorry for hurting you.”

Sunset said nothing, nor did her neutral expression change.

The silence unnerved Twilight. It filled her with anger. “What do you want from me?” she yelled, jumping to her hooves.

“I want to know why, Twilight.”

“Well, if you'd read my letters—”

Sunset's jaw clenched. “I want to hear it from you!” she spoke through her teeth, “Right here, right now!”

Twilight was taken aback. She turned away and grit her teeth. “Fine! I wanted you. I wanted your body on mine. I wanted to feel your love, your passion, your sex. I wanted you to take me. I wanted to give myself wholly to you.

“I told you I was ready, that I wanted it. You don't know my frustration every time you blocked my advances. If you loved me, you would have—”

“If you loved me,” Sunset raised her voice, “you would never have done that! Lest, even, consider it. You may have been ready, Twilight, but I wasn't. I thought I had made that clear.” She put a hoof to her head and gave a sharp exhale through her nose.

There was brief silence in the room before Sunset let out a laugh that sent shivers down Twilight's spine. “You know what? I'm happy for you! Twilight Sparkle: the most sexless, purest, modest bookworm in the all the multiverse has finally lost her virginity! Such an achievement! How many brainy nerds can claim they've ever come by the hand of another?

“No, I'm proud of you, Twilight. I only hope it was everything you ever wanted. I really hope that it was good for you. I hope you enjoyed it. I hope it's something you'll remember for a long time, 'cause I sure as fucking Tartarus can't!”

“Sunset” Twilight's voice quivered, “...please...”

“You even stopped to consider how I might feel, Twilight? How your actions might have left me?” She sucked the air through her teeth, fighting back her tears. “I felt violated, Twilight. You violated me.”

“Sunset, please! I beg of you!”

“Do you know what it's like to feel violated, Twilight?”

“Please...stop...” It was but a whisper, Twilight doubted Sunset had heard her.

“...or was all you told me about Midnight Sparkle just a lie for attention and pity?”

Twilight's voice got caught in her throat. Stumbling back, she couldn't believe the pony before her. Sunset, the one other being who could understand, had just gone there. If Sunset had meant to hurt her, she more than succeeded. Twilight felt a tightening in her chest. It moved to her throat, choking her to tears. She couldn't take it any more, the daggers were pushed in too deep in all the right places. Not wanting to give Sunset the satisfaction of seeing her in tears, Twilight fled the room.

She didn't know where she was going, only that she had to get away. In her teary blindness, she ran into a soft, fury body. Both landed on the floor in a heap. The sound of plastic skidded across the smooth stone floor.

---

Starlight laid on the floor for a while, trying to register what just happened. She eventually got to her hooves and began to investigate. “Twilight, what happen—” She stopped when she noticed the other pony's crying. Her ears fell flat and her head lowered. “Oh..” With gentle forelegs, she brought the other into a hug.

“Please” Twilight wept, “Send me home. I want to go back.”

“Okay. Hang on.” Starlight grabbed Twilight's glasses, which had landed some distance away, with her magic and summoned a teleportation spell. In a moment, they were in the library before the open portal. Starlight hesitated before allowing Twilight through. “You're sure you don't want to wait a bit? I'd hate to send you through like this.”

Twilight sniffled and nodded, “I'll be better once I get back to my side... and my own body.”

Starlight could only nod and gently guided Twilight back through the portal. Sure her visitor was safely through, Starlight turned her attention to Sunset. She was getting a little tired of individuals running into her crying, demanding to return to their original worlds.

She made her way to Sunset's room and was about to give the pony a rude awakening when she noticed the door was already open. Stepping closer, she heard a soft noise from within. Moving in as close as she dared, she realized that it was Sunset's weeping that she was hearing.

Starlight's heart softened. Upon reflection, she decided to stay quite, as she saw her words would only hurt further. Gently, she stepped away from the door and retreated to another part of the castle.

“Starlight!” said Princess Twilight, trotting up to her student, “What happened? The other Twilight came barging through the portal in quite a state.”

Starlight only shrugged. “Your guess is as good as mine. Sunset is no better. I—” She stopped when she noticed that Twilight was looking at something behind her. By the look on the alicorn's face, it wasn't something entirely good. Slowly, Starlight turned around and let out a yelp. “Sunset!” she tried not to make comment on the unicorn's current physical appearance. “You're up!”

Sunset gave a weary nod. Then, with her magic, handed Starlight a folded piece of paper. “Can you give this to Twilight next time you go over?”

Starlight took the note and, with a nod, placed it in her saddle bag. “I'll take it tomorrow.”

“You must be feeling better” Twilight smiled, “How about some dinner? There's still quite a bit of harvest stew left. We can put it into a bread bowl and—” But Sunset stopped her with a shake of her head.

“I'll just go back to bed.”

“Okay then,” the alicorn shuffled, “Let me help you back.”

“Please, Twilight.” Sunset raised her hoof. “ I'm sorry, but, I can't look at you,” She took a couple steps back, “much less be alone, or even, close to you right now.” She turned away and closed her eyes. “Please understand.”

Twilight tried her best to hide the hurt which gripped her heart. Holding back her own tears, she simply said, “I understand.”

Starlight put a gentle hoof on her mentor. “I'll get her back to her room.” She moved to position herself under Sunset and allow the other unicorn to put all her weight on her. In a flash, the two were gone.

“Twilight, honey, you've barely touched your dinner. Are you feeling okay?”

Twilight felt her mother's hands against her cheeks and forehead. She looked up to a series of worried faces gathered round the dinner table.

“Oh, I've seen this look before. She's sick alright.” Great-Grandma pointed with her fork, dropping meatloaf crumbs onto the table. “She's got a sickness of the heart.”

“Heart-sickness, eh?” asked Great-Great Uncle Sterling, stabbing his fork and knife into a slice of meatloaf on his plate. “Well, what ruffian has got you in such a tumble? Do I need to tussle him up some?” He gave a jovial laugh, reliving fond memories of his old boxing days.

Twilight remained expressionless. “Her. And no.”

“Oh,” said Twilight Velvet, returning to her seat, “now we're getting somewhere. You and Sunset fight again?”

“Who hurt who?” asked Cadence, softly.

“I started it” replied Twilight, “Then she me got back. So, I guess we're currently tied.”

“Well, that's good” said Velvet, “Now, you have the opportunity to be the better person. Go and apologize.”

“I tried.”

“O-oh!” came a chorus from the family elders, mostly from Uncle Sterling.

“...only made things worse.”

Great-Grandma gave the teen girl a concerned look. “You two fight a lot?”

“Seems like it. Not fights, really. Rarity calls them spats.”

“But you two always get back together?”

Twilight nodded.

“Well,” she patted her great-granddaughter's hand, “I'd worry more if you didn't fight. Sign of a healthy relationship. I can't tell you how many times your Great Pa Pa and I used to quarrel. Hell, I left him no less than ten times after we got married.”

“I remember” said Grandpa, his mouth full, “There was that one time we didn't see you for a whole month.”

The matriarch paused for a moment, before shaking her head. “I don't remember that. Point is:” she returned to Twilight, “yes, we fought, but we always came back to each other and our relationship was stronger than ever. In fact, I'm sure of it, when I finally join him, the first thing we'll do is have a fight as to why I took so long.”

“Mom! Don't say things like that!” cried Grandma.

“What?” the eldest woman laughed, “I'm old! I can say whatever the hell I want!”

“You're old al'right!” laughed Uncle Sterling.

“Oh, hush!” She threw her napkin at her kid brother, “And wipe your face. You've got gravy all over it!” She returned to the youngest family member. “When you get back with Sunset, do you find that you two are closer together than before?”

“Well, yeah” Twilight shrugged, “I often feel like we learn a little more about the other. We have a cry, kiss—”

“...and get some amazing, sweaty, wall-pounding make-up sex?”

“Grandmother!” gasped Velvet. The others around the table looked rather uncomfortable.

“No” Twilight looked down, “Sunset has held off on any of that...”

“Well, that's good to hear” said Nightlight, taking a sip of his wine, “I was afraid I'd have to give her a stern talking to.”

“I don't think I've met Sunset yet” Great-Grandma said thoughtfully, “ Have you any pictures?” Twilight pulled out her phone and opened the photo gallery. She found a series of her and Sunset and passed them to the elderly woman. “My,” she smiled, swiping through the pictures, “aren't you two a cute pair.”

“Still can't believe my granddaughter prefers holes to poles” Grandpa grumbled into his napkin.

“Now you hush!” Great-Grandma scolded her son, “I think it's adorable. Any chance I'll see her at the wedding?”

Twilight shrugged. “I've asked her to be my plus one. However, with what's happened, I don't know...”

“What about you two? Have a date set yet?”

“No,” Cadence tenderly grasped Shining Armor's hand, “we're still working out our own schedules. It probably won't be for another year, or so. We hope to have a date nailed down sometime soon. Don't worry, you'll all be the first to know.”

“I really don't care about the wedding,” said Velvet, “I just want a grandchild.”

Her grandmother agreed. “Another great-great-grandchild would be nice. A girl this time, perhaps?”

“Too many females in this family” Uncle Sterling griped, “How about another strapping lad?”

“Now wait a minute!” Shining yelped, “We only just got engaged!”

“Doesn't matter,” smiled Velvet, “you've already put a ring on it. You're our only hope for grandchildren now, Shining. Not likely we're gonna get any out of Twilight.”

“Mom!” Twilight's face flushed, “There are other methods!”

“Twins!” offered Grandma, “A boy and a girl. They can do that now with science, right?”

Shining slowly slid down beneath the table. “Can we just please change the subject?”

Unable to take any more, Twilight grabbed her plate and retreated into the kitchen. Not wanting to be wasteful, she scraped her meal into Spike's food bowl, for which the pooch was very grateful.

Throwing her dishes into the sink, Twilight gripped its edges and did everything she could to keep from screaming.

“Twilight?” came a soft and gentle voice.

“The hell do you want?” Her tone may have been a bit harsher than she intended, but she figured it could have been worse. All the same, she felt sorry for her words. Of any of them, Cadence didn't deserve her wrath.

“Look,” Cadence placed her hands on the girl's shoulder. She felt the tension in her muscles amd began to give them a gentle rub. Almost immediately, Twilight started to relax; her breathes evened out.

“I see you're frustrated” Cadence continued her massage, “You want to talk about it? Sister to sister?”

Twilight said nothing.

Cadence ended the massage and leaned against the cabinetry to face her future sister-in-law. “Perhaps, then, if I can make some observations:

“Your parents have had to make quite a few adjustments this past year. In addition to Shining and me getting engaged, you've dumped a load on them. First, leaving Crystal Prep for CHS. Next, your newly-appointed powers from an alternate dimension, let's not even mention Midnight Sparkle. Shortly after, you came out as gay—and with a girlfriend who also happens to be from said alternate dimension—”

“They don't know about that last part.”

“Okay, so, just a girlfriend, then. But, can you see what they're dealing with?”

“I suppose...”

“Now, they see you upset over said girlfriend... You want to tell me what happened?”

“If I told you, you would think me the worst person who ever lived.”

“Try me.”

Twilight hesitated. She could feel her eyes begin to tingle, summoning the flow of tears. “I'd rather not. Suffice to say: I've made a horrible mistake. I did something completely selfish and foolish and, now, I'm paying for it.”

“Okay,” Cadence hugged her sister-in-law tightly, “just promise me you'll tell someone if it gets any worse.”

Twilight's face wrenched as she became on the verge of tears. She pressed her face into Cadence's shoulder and murmured something inaudible. However, Cadence could make out one word.

“Rape? Oh!” She jumped up with alarm, gently pushing Twilight back and looking her straight in the face. “My god! Twilight! You weren't...! She didn't...!”

Twilight shook her head and placed it back into Cadence's shoulder, tears beginning to fall. She wrapped her arms around Cadence, holding her tightly. “It's not what you think.” she choked, “She didn't touch me that way—not willingly. It was me! I made her do it. I forced her to do it. She has no memory of it... She doesn't know what she did... If I had just...” Her body shook with her sobs. “This is all my fault, and I don't know how to fix it!”

“Oh, Twilight” Cadence sighed, “You still love Sunset, don't you?”

Twilight nodded. “That's what's making this all the more horrible...”

“Do you think she still loves you?”

“Maybe. But then what?” she said softly, “How can we move forward?”

Cadence took in a deep breath. “I don't know... Even if you still love her, and are truly sorry--"

"I am both those things! How can I prove it to her?"

Cadence's heart broke for Twilight. "I don't think you can. Everything lies with Sunset now. Only she has the power to decide the next step.

"All I can tell you is be prepared for the worst, but also save a little faith for the best.”

---

Twilight turned the faucet and allowed the hot, steaming water to flow over her. She closed her eyes and focused on the warm beating upon her skin. She imagined herself as a mountain. She saw the snow and rain falling upon her peak and traveling down to her base, creating winding streams and mini waterfalls.

Twilight couldn't remember exactly the last time she stood under her shower like this, but she could remember why. She was trying to wash off Midnight Sparkle. Which made her start to wonder: What was she trying to wash off now? Guilt? Shame? Regret? Perhaps, a combination of all three.

“There you are!” a little head popped from behind the shower curtain, “Was wondering where you disappeared to.”

Twilight smiled. “Hey, Spike.” She didn't move to conceal herself, instead, she chuckled inwardly. Shortly after Spike gained his ability to speak, Twilight had come across an internet meme regarding the hypothetical notion of “What if pets could talk?” It then recanted its query with a statement inferring to owners performing inappropriate acts before their pets. Well, Twilight was living the hypothetical and, while not engaging in anything inappropriate, she was in full nudity in the presence of an articulate canine. Oddly, it wasn't quite as weird as everyone made it out to be.

“Finally out of your food coma?” she asked.

“Yep!” the pup yawned and stretched, “Best one yet! First, I get my dinner, then your dinner, then Grandma's coffee cake. I don't know how I'm gonna handle Thanksgiving, let alone, Christmas!” He stopped himself, and began to assess the situation before him. He took a more serious, compassionate tone. “This whole thing's got you pretty down, huh?”

Twilight shifted slightly, hugging herself in the process. Spike had seen it before. “Look,” he said, “you know you can always talk to me about it. Even if I'm not as silent as I used to be, I'm still a good listener.”

“I know...”

“So, what's going on?”

Twilight hugged herself tighter. “Everything.”

“Could you be a little more specific?”

“I'm a monster, Spike! And, this time, it wasn't because of some out-of-control magic. This was all me.” She fell to a squat and covered her face her hands.

“Hey!” Spike cried, scrambling up the tub wall. He jumped into the shower and began licking at his mistress's face. “None of that! Yeah, what you did was pretty horrible, but...”

“Just stop, Spike. I know what you're trying to do—and I appreciate it. But, there really is nothing anyone can say that can make this any better. This is strictly between Sunset and me; and I'm done. I've pleaded my case. It's in her han—er hooves—now. Whether she forgives me, or we're really through, I'll...” Her throat closed as tears swelled to the surface. She felt a little wet ball of fur nuzzle closer as she surrendered to weeping.

“You idiot!” a voice screamed inside her head, “You selfish little brat! Sunset was everything. You were her everything. You just had to go and ruin it! You should have known better!”

Twilight nodded to herself. She should have known better. Though the events of the past days only twisted the knife further. She was the one to push the relationship. She was always the one pushing the relationship.

After just a few short months of being together, Twilight had made her first push. Up to this point, she and Sunset had only engaged in hand holding and light kissing. Twilight, however, had wanted more. She had waited one night, during one of Rainbow's soccer matches, to make her move. Unfortunately, Sunset wasn't all too pleased, and had swiftly left the stands in a huff.

Twilight had given it a few minutes before approaching her steaming girlfriend. Brief words were exchanged, and Twilight quickly gathered that, while Sunset wasn't mad, she was clearly upset.

“I'm not against 'expanding on our expressions of affection'” Sunset had struggled to keep from yelling.

“Then why did you push me away?”

“What? And make out? In full-view of the entire school? How about a little tact, Twilight?” She pointed back in the direction of the ongoing match. “That was neither the time, nor the place. We're here for our friends.

“It's just that,” she let out a sigh, “I'm not really comfortable doing things like that in public.” She turned away from Twilight, trying to hide her emotions. Though, Twilight knew she was hurt.

Cautiously, she crept up behind her girlfriend and slipped her arms around her, bringing her into a gentle hug. She released her breath when she felt Sunset relax, which only made her hug tighten. “I'm sorry” she whispered.

“I know” Sunset sighed. “Just didn't think you'd jump me like that. Guess I shouldn't really be surprised. I mean, not like it's not a thing lovers do.” She wiggled slightly to get out of Twilight's death grip and turned back around. She let out a light chuckle and ran her fingers through her girlfriend's hair; a gesture that always made Twilight's cheeks burn.

Twilight gulped as Sunset's voice turned low and silky. “Wish you had given me a heads-up cause, really, if you wanted to make out tonight, I can think of a few far better places than a high school soccer game. In fact,” she wrapped her arms around Twilight's waist and pulled her in, “the moon is shining perfectly on the library dome tonight. Say we skip out early at the after-party and start one our own?”

A wide smile had crept on Twilight's face as Sunset's gently nuzzled hers.

“Twily?” the bathroom door was met with a sharp knock, “You still in there? Are you okay?”

Twilight scrambled to regain her bearings. “Uh, yeah...” She wrapped her arms around herself and tried to re-imagine they were Sunset's.

“Could you please hurry?” Shining continued, “It's late, and I'd really like to shower before going to bed.”

“Y-yeah,” Twilight stumbled, raising to her feet, “give me a sec.” She turned off the water and fumbled around in the steam for her towel and one for Spike. With a preliminary dry, she wrapped the towel around herself and stepped out of the bathroom straight into her brother's arms.

Twilight froze. “Wha-what is this?”

Shining only squeezed his baby sister tighter, ignoring that she was sopping wet. “Just letting you know that, whatever happens, I'm still your big brother and I'm always here to protect you.”

Twilight closed her eyes and let out the breath she had been holding. “Thanks.”

Back in her room, Twilight finished drying Spike and herself off. Putting on her pajamas, she fell onto her bed, too awake to fall asleep, but too tired to do anything. Spike jumped up to join her, shaking off the last remaining water droplets from his fur.

“Feeling better?” he asked.

Twilight responded in an incoherent mumble. Though, the shower did make her feel a little better. Still, she felt like she needed to get away. Physically running away didn't seem a viable option, though. However, maybe she could mentally.

She rested her hands at her side and resorted to watching the moonlight casting shadows on her ceiling. Slowly, she allowed her mind to drift. After a short while, her eyelids began to feel heavy. Deciding it a futile fight, she closed them. She felt Spike curl next to her before letting her subconscious whisk her away.

She awoke in a different room from her own, though Twilight knew very well where she was. She was at Sunset's place, and laying upon her bed as seductively as one could in fall clothing. Her damp hair was wrapped in a towel. Twilight sat up and looked around as details filled themselves in.

It was a Saturday afternoon. She and Sunset had returned from a brief lunch with Fluttershy after a morning of volunteering at the animal shelter. Feeling icky from cleaning the pens and kennels, they'd decided they both needed showers. Being the gracious hostess, Sunset had insisted that Twilight go first.

Now, Twilight laid in wait for her beloved to return. She listened carefully as, from the bathroom below the loft, Sunset hummed to herself, blissfully unaware that anyone could hear her. Suddenly, the humming and the sound of running water stopped. Twilight heard the shower curtain being pulled open and the rustling of Sunset drying herself off.

“Oh, skip the towel” Twilight grinned devilishly, imagining the wet, naked body downstairs, “Just get up here and join me. This bed is so big and lonely without you.”

“You sure you don't want to use my blow-dryer?” Sunset asked, ascending the stairs. She had a blow-dryer in hand, which she extended to Twilight.

Twilight turned over. To her dismay, there was no shimmering, nude goddess. However, it was still her Sunset, though fully clothed in a sweatshirt and jeans. “No, thanks” she smiled, “I've been trying not to use it as much. Rarity says my hair will do better if I air dry it. Turns out, she's right.”

Sunset shrugged and threw her dirty clothes into her hamper. She finished brushing her blown-dried hair and returned the brush to its home on the highboy.

“Now then,” she leered, turning her attention to the girl on her bed, “what am I to do with you with no homework, work, or any other responsibilities to demand my attention on this chilly afternoon?”

Twilight rolled onto her back and stretched, arching it and pushing her bosom upward. “Oh,” she said, coyly, “I can think of a few things.” She let out a light giggle as Sunset slowly crawled onto the bed and hovered over her.

“You know,” Sunset said, her lips brushing against Twilight's, “it's a bad thing to give me ideas.”

Twilight kissed back. “I'll accept the consequences.” She wrapped her arms around Sunset's neck and pulled her down. She moaned as she felt Sunset's hands on her, making their way around her body to her back. She heard a surprise shudder from Sunset and it brought a smile to her lips. She had purposefully neglected to put on a bra after her shower. “That's right, my little pony” she whispered between kisses, “one less layer between you and me.”

Twilight's hands found their way to the hem of Sunset's sweater. Swiftly, they slipped in—a maneuver Sunset had become well-accustomed to. Normally, both hands would travel upward to entertain Sunset's plush areas. Though, this time, Twilight wanted to go for something a little different. While one hand move up, the other moved down. She almost had her entire hand into Sunset's waistband before a stern grip quickly snatched her wrist and pulled her out.

Shocked, Twilight looked to her lover. Sunset's brow was furled and, though she spoke not a word, Twilight instantly got the message that that area was off limits. Instead, Sunset re-directed Twilight's hand to her backside, placing it firmly on her buttocks. “If you want to travel south” she said, “you can go here.”

“Fine” sneered Twilight sensually, and gave the rump a firm squeeze, “You just wait...”

“One day” Sunset promised with a smile. She leaned forward and continued her kissing, “One day, all this will be yours.”

“Why not today?” Twilight said with a pout. She gave a tug, pulling their hips closer together.

Sunset broke their kiss. “Twilight, please don't ruin this moment.”

“Maybe she won't,” came a sinister voice, “but I will.”

The two girls turned to the direction of the voice with a gasp.

“How is this possible?” Sunset cried as Twilight cleaved to her.

Midnight Sparkle let out a laugh from the foot of the bed. “You tell me, unicorn. How is anything possible?”

Sunset let out a low growl, positing herself between the intruder and Twilight. “What do you want?” she sneered.

“Oh,” Midnight feigned a sudden interest in her manicure, “nothing, really. Just thought I'd pop in and see how my favorite inter-dimensional couple was doing. You two really know how to get it on... or not. Seriously, Sunny,” she gestured to Twilight, “how have you not tapped that yet? Clearly, you can see that poor girl is just aching for someone to fill her glory hole. If it's not you, I may be persuaded to alleviate some pressure.”

Sunset pulled Twilight closer to herself. “You'll do no such thing! You so much as lay a single finger on her and I'll—”

“You'll what?” grinned Midnight, “I'm not even real in many senses of the term. Merely a blob of sentient magic.”

Sunset's eyes narrowed. Her voice fell; low and even. “Even magic can die.”

Midnight's face fell for a moment. For just an instant, the demon displayed an expression of genuine fear. As quickly as it came, so did it leave. Midnight shook herself and returned to her belligerency.

“Just look at her” she pointed again to Twilight, “The poor girl suffers for you. She calls out your name in the stillness of the night, while her fingers move about he—”

“Enough!” Twilight roared. She wiggled her way out from behind Sunset and moved closer to Midnight Sparkle, keeping constant eye contact with her. “I've had enough. I suggest you leave. You have no more power over me.”

“Oh, but you're so wrong. You may have defeated me, but I'll always be right here” she placed a finger to the center of the girl's forehead. “I was born from your deepest, darkest thoughts and desires. It was the magic you absorbed at the Friendship Games that allowed me to escape my womb, but I can always crawl back in. Oh, no Twilight Sparkle, you may push me away, but I'll always be here.” She leaned back and snarled. “Now, admit it, you want this sexy hunk of flesh to fuck you till your brain melts.”

“What?” Twilight yelped, “No!”

Midnight raised an eyebrow. “Really? Why did you make that cocktail then?”

“Twi?” Sunset's voice quivered. She grasped at Twilight's arm. “What's she talking about?”

Twilight quickly brushed her off. “N-nothing.”

“'Nothing' she says!” cackled Midnight.

“Shut up!”

“I will once you admit to Sunset that you spiked her drink.”

Twilight was taken aback. “What drink?” She didn't recall Sunset bringing any drinks up to the loft.

“That one” she pointed with a grin.

Twilight slowly turned to see Sunset down the last swallow of water. “Sunset” Twilight whispered, “Oh, no...” She quickly attended to her girlfriend, who suddenly became quite subdued. She was too wrapped up on Sunset, she barely heard what Midnight was saying.

“Remember you're little concoction?” Midnight went on, “Well, I took the liberty of adding it to that glass of water. Nice work, by the way. I couldn't have done better myself. What better way to hurt the one person who drove us apart?”

Twilight watched in horror as Sunset's eyes lost their light. Her expression became hallow. “Sunset!” Twilight cried, gently taking her girlfriend's face into her hands, “Sunny, love, please, come back to me!” Something was wrong—horribly wrong. It didn't work like this.

“Sunset!”

Sunset seemed to hear Twilight's last scream. She slowly rolled her eyes to meet hers and, for a moment, Twilight thought that Sunset was coming out of it. That was, until Sunset snatched her forcibly by the wrists and slammed her down onto the bed.

Twilight found herself pinned to the bed as Sunset mechanically began removing her clothing. She fought to keep herself dressed, but Sunset inevitably won, ripping off first the sweater, then her jeans. Before Twilight could register what has happening, she was strewn, naked, upon the bed. Sunset was still fully clothed.

“Sunset, listen to me” Twilight pleaded, “Fight it, don't give in to it!”

“'Fraid she can't hear you, deary” crackled Midnight, “Really gotta give you credit. You know how to brew a mighty potion. Better make yourself comfortable. You're gonna be there for a while.”

“SUNSET!” Twilight gasped as a pair of lips touched her exposed skin.

“Mmm!...You liked that, didn't you?”

Twilight hissed through her teeth. “Fuck off!”

“Oh, I will—as I watch you two.”

Twilight let out another breath as Sunset moved downward. “Please, stop!” Sunset didn't respond, but continued her journey to Twilight's nethers. Twilight pinched her knees together tightly, but, once again, Sunset proved herself too strong.

“No sense fighting it” Midnight folded her arms, “We all know how this played out.”

Twilight grit her teeth. “Doesn't mean I can't try to stop it.” She reached down and tried to push Sunset away, only to discover that her arms had been tied above her head. She looked upon her bonds with bewilderment. “When...?”

She sucked in a breath. Sunset had found her sacred spot and was loving it tenderly with her mouth. Twilight fell back onto the bed as her brain went into emotional overload. She knew something was about to get shorted soon. She was conflicted. She both wanted and didn't want Sunset's touch. She closed her eyes and kicked and screamed all she could to try to get it to stop.

“I must say,” Midnight prattled on, “making Sunset your personal sex slave was a wonderful idea.” She frowned upon hearing Twilight's cries. “Really, you should be thanking me.” She stopped to observe the scene going on before her. With a grin of satisfaction, she placed her hands on her hips. “Well, now that's what I'm talking about!”

Twilight continued her screams right up to her moment of climax. She jolted as the wave hit her. Tears blurred her vision. “Sunset,” she cried, “I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. I never meant for this to happen.”

“Sure” Midnight rolled her eyes, “Keep telling yourself that. Remember, it wasn't I who put it in her drink the first time. Now, you two get back to being busy. I haven't even started yet.”

Almost as if on cue, Sunset returned to her spot between Twilight's legs and reengaged the girl. Twilight's screams resumed. She bucked her hips and yelled out all she could in protest.

“Oh, and one more thing” said a now naked Midnight Sparkle. She pulled out a long strip of cloth and proceeded to tie it around Twilight's head. “You can't cry out for any help. Sunset certainly couldn't.”

Twilight clenched down on her gag in an attempt to scream. Tears stung her eyes as she felt her next orgasm rising.

“Yes! That's it!” Midnight moaned loudly, her hand fervently pounding her own crotch. “TWILIGHT!”

Twilight let a garbled scream.

“Twilight! Wake up!”

Twilight felt something wet and rough slide across her face. “Someone!” she yelled, “Help me!”

“Twilight! Can you hear me? Wake up!” Spike continued lapping at her face.

Twilight's eyes snapped open and she jolted. She laid back and heaved heavily, her body covered in a cold sweat. She closed her eyes and waited for the throbbing in her groin to subside.

Once calmed down, her eyes darted about the room, trying to discern if she was truly awake. She'd had wet dreams before, but none quite as vivid as this one. At that moment, she was thankful that that day was laundry day.

Spike leapt upon Twilight's chest, continuing to lick her face. “You awake?” he asked, “I've been trying to pull you out of it for a while. You were crying for help. Is everything okay?”

Twilight's face contorted. “No” she whimpered, wiping away her tears, “No, it isn't. Midnight Sparkle is back.”

The puppy jumped off the bed in alarm and began searching for Twilight's cellphone. “You need me to alert the others?”

“No” Twilight shook her head, “I know she's all in my imagination.”

“So,” Spike returned to the bed, “what did she want?”

Twilight curled up and turned away. “She's out to taunt me. To make sure I never forget or forgive myself for what I did to Sunset.”

Spike let out a growl. “Don't let her get to you.”

“...and, yet, she's right.”

The pup's jaw slacked. “What? You're gonna let her win?”

“I have little other choice. I never can forget how I hurt Sunset. If this is my penance, then so be it.”

“You can't just give up like that!”

“I already have.”

“No!” he barked, “I won't allow it! There must be another way!”

Twilight looked puzzled. “Another way?” she whispered.

“Sure! There always is! Even Sunset found it.”

Twilight wiped her tears on her sleeve. “Yes,” she smiled inwardly, “there is another way. An other way to punish myself and show to Sunset and the world how truly sorry I am.” She looked at her little pup with wide eyes and rose, scratching him between the ears. “Spike,” she grinned, “I don't care what they say about your species, or breed, you're a genius!”

“Well,” he puffed out his chest, “it all boils down to proper breeding.”

“Yes!” Twilight booted up her computer, “I'll show them an other way!”

Spike's sudden surge of pride faded. “Um, Twilight? What are you doing?”

The others watched in concerned silence as Twilight fiddled with her food. She moved it from one end of the plate to the other, but never taking it up.

“Uh, Twilight?” said Rainbow, pointing to an unopened cup on Twilight's tray. “You gonna eat that?”

Twilight silently shook her head and a gasp let out through the table. Twilight, who would normally have fought tooth and nail, was passively relinquishing her precious pudding cup.

“Okay, I can't take it any longer!” yelled Pinkie, “Twilight, you seriously need to EAT THAT PUDDING!”

Twilight remained quiet.

“At least eat something, sugar cube” offered Applejack, pushing Pinkie back into her seat.

Silence.

“Twilight, darling,” Rarity pleaded, breaking her silence towards Twilight, “we're all very worried. Please...”

“Why do you still care about me?” Twilight dropped her face into her hands, “You said it yourself: I...” she shuddered, “I raped Sunset...”

The other girls shifted uncomfortably in their seats.

'Why are they here?'

That was her greatest mystery. Even her attempt to sit at a different table in the opposite corner of the cafeteria did not deter them.

“But, you're our friend, too?” countered Pinkie Pie. She glanced around the table for support.

“No mistake," added Rarity, "we are all appalled by what you did. But, we can also see you are truly sorry for it.”

“Yeah,” Rainbow punched her palm, “things would have been totally different if you showed no remorse.” Applejack joined her in the stare-down.

Twilight looked down at her plate; her stomach disgusted by the sight of it. Even though she had grabbed some of her favorite foods, she couldn't find the will.

“I wish you had just gone ahead and beaten me senseless.”

“What!” Rainbow's face paled “No! We'd never hit you, even though you do deserve it. I only hit people I think can take it. Besides, Sunset would never allow that. Frankly, even though we're friends, that girl still scares me.”

“Yeah,” agreed Applejack, “I'm glad to be counted among those she protects.”

“I know,” Twilight signed, “I've been on the receiving end.”

An awkward silence covered the table.

“Look,” Rainbow said, “what we meant to say was, even if you two aren't together anymore, Sunset still cares for you and won't let us do anything to you to harm you.”

“How would you know?”

“You remember those comments Snips and Snails made at the Fall Formal?” asked Rarity.

Twilight nodded. She didn't realize it at the time, but, despite her usual stoic exterior, Sunset had become especially sensitive around her one year reformation anniversary. Without thinking, the boys had made a joke about the then-upcoming Fall Formal, noting that it would not being quite as exciting without “the threat of demons overthrowing the world.”

Though, they had meant no ill. Unlike Sunset, they actually enjoyed their time as demons and looked back on it fondly. Still, it had struck a nerve with the former bully and nearly ruined the night.

“Well, if you also remember,” continued Rarity, “Fluttershy and Pinkie were about to lay a new one on them, but Sunset would have nothing of it.”

“She specifically forbade us from giving them anything beyond a firm, friendly scolding” said Fluttershy.

Twilight was relieved to hear Fluttershy's voice directed at her again.

“If she's willing to let those two muttonheads get off unscathed” continued Rainbow, “How much more is she going to protect you?”

“Rainbow Dash,” scolded Pinkie, “Calling Snips and Snails 'muttonheads' is an insult to muttons everywhere!”

Just then, a loud crash sounded from across the cafeteria. Everyone looked up just enough to see that it was Snips and Snails once again engaged in their shenanigans.

Pinkie's shoulders fell, “But, you're right...”

Twilight let out a long breath. "There's a big difference between those two and me."

“Well,” Applejack sighed, “I guess this all speeds up Sunset's plans.”

Twilight's ears perked. “What plans?”

Applejack noticed Twilight's confusion and proceeded with caution. “I'm sorry, I thought you knew. Sunset was goin' to go back to Equestria after we graduated.”

The bespectacled girl shot up. “What?”

The girls looked at each other before continuing.

“We talked once about what we were going to do after graduation” explained Pinkie, “and Sunset brought up her plans to move back to Equestria.”

Twilight fell back into her seat, slumping over the table. “She never mentioned it to me...”

“Well, this was quite a while before you two started dating” said Rarity, placing a consoling hand on the girl's shoulder. “She may have changed her mind since then.”

“Twilight?”

Twilight looked up to see Starlight Glimmer, offering her a piece of folded paper. A gentle look was on her face. When Twilight realized what the paper was, her heart made a flutter. Without thinking, she snatched the paper and broke the wax seal stamped with Sunset's cutie mark. With excitement and dread, her eyes darted about the paper. Though, as she progressed, her face fell. “So, this is it...” her eyes began to mist. She startled everyone when she jumped up from the table and ran from the cafeteria in tears.

Fluttershy and Pinkie quickly darted after her, calling out her name.

The others remained at the table, stupefied.

“What just happened?” asked Starlight.

Rarity reached down and picked up the letter Twilight had dropped. “Oh dear,” she whispered, reading the contents. She left the note on the table and ran after the other girls.

Applejack quickly grabbed the note and started reading. She backhanded Rainbow on the shoulder and they ran out, leaving Starlight alone and confused. When her mind finally caught up, she took off after the duo.

Luckily for Starlight, she didn't have to run far. Just outside the cafeteria, she almost collided into Twilight and the other girls. She looked upon the crying bookworm. In her hands, Twilight grasped a tear-stained envelope. Weakly, she held it to the unicorn. “Please,” she said through her tears.

Starlight took the letter and nodded. Wanting to avoid the awkward situation, she made a mad dash out the main doors and back through the portal. She landed on the crystalline floor with a thud.

“Good, you're back!” smiled Princess Twilight, peering into the library, “I'm almost ready to try out this new potion and I need you to assist me. It's a little volatile little thing, if not done correctly, so,” she let out a slightly nerdy giggle, “safety first and all, you know. Better if I'm not alone and Spike is nowhere to be found.” She paused in confusion, “Wonder why...”

“Huh?” Starlight's head was spinning. It had been a rough transformation. Throw in Twilight's penchant for rambles, and Starlight had the makings of a great headache. She shook herself and tried to recall all what Twilight had said. “Um, yeah, sure. Let me just deliver this letter and make sure Sunset's okay. I'll be right back.”

"Oh..."

Starlight froze. She didn't like that sound. She turned to face her mentor. "Are you okay?" Ever since she told Twilight about Sunset's situation, she'd sensed a change in the princess.

Twilight had done her best to hide it, but every once in a while, her spirits would drop considerably. This was looking like one of those times.

"Hey," She placed a comforting hoof on Twilight's shoulder. "I know this is hard for you."

"It's a horrible feeling, Starlight," Twilight croaked, "To know that your friend is in so much pain, but that you can't comfort them. In fact, the very thought of you would only make the matter worse."

"I don't think the thought of you, per se, just the sight of you." She quickly rephrased her statement, "Sunset knows you and the other Twilight are not the same ponies... people... people/ponies.

"Point is, Sunset needs to work this out. Eventually, she'll be able to be around you again. In the meantime, you just have to stay strong for her."

Twilight gave a weak smile. "I know. I can see why you held off telling me."

Starlight winced, "Frankly, I didn't know what or how to tell you. Not everyday you have to tell somepony that their otherworld counterpart did something really heinous."

"Thank goodness for that." Her smile broadened as Starlight pulled her into a hug.

"Look, why don't you get the lab ready. I'll drop this off with Sunset and be down in a bit."

Twilight tearfully nodded. "Give her a hug for me."

"I always do."

---

“Sunset?” Starlight knocked on the bedroom door. “Sunset, I have a letter from Twilight.”

No response.

Starlight tried again. Again, no response. Assuming Sunset to be asleep, Starlight slipped the envelope under the door and trotted away.

Chapter 6

Sunset had heard Starlight outside and something being pushed under the door. She couldn't the strength to bring herself to inquire as to what it could be. Instead, she turned away from the door and fell back asleep.

She wasn't sure for how long she slept, but, Sunset was pleasantly surprised to have a bit of renewed energy when she awoke. For a moment, she was almost happy. That is, until she remembered Twilight's letter by the door. Figuring it would be rude to ignore it—especially since it did contain Twilight's last words to her, she took in a deep breath and levitated the mail to the bed. She examined the exterior for a moment, using her magic to turn and spin it every which way. She became intrigued by the note on the outside of the envelope:

“Sunset, if you ever read my letters, please read this one.”

This piqued Sunset's curiosity. Tearing the envelope open, a small object fell out of it and onto the comforter. Sunset quickly recognized it as a flash drive. She gave a thoughtful frown as she pulled out the note included. Reading it, her heart quickly leapt. She clenched her chest, feeling as if she had just been bucked. “Oh, no, no, no!” Jumping from the bed, she summoned a teleportation spell.

---

“...and so, you see,” explained Twilight, gently pouring a clear liquid into a flask with some other liquid ingredients, “it all about remaining calm and controlling the rate at which new elements are introduced.”

Starlight looked on anxiously. She tried to follow the princess's lead and try to remain calm, but something about the way Twilight moved around the various vials and flasks with her magic made her uneasy. Her nerves were in no better shape when Sunset suddenly winked into the lab.

Starlight let out a yelp, which broke Twilight's concentration.

“I need you to open the portal!” yelled Sunset, “Now!”

“It is open” Starlight replied, recovering from her shock. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the panic growing on Twilight's face. No one needed to tell her something was wrong.

Sunset wasted no time in teleporting out again. Starlight gave her mentor a shaky smile before following Sunset, leaving Twilight alone and panicked.

“Sunset, wait!” Starlight called, as she materialized in the library. She only had enough time to see Sunset jump into the mirror. Acting on instinct, Starlight galloped after her friend.

She tumbled out the other side, rolling a few feet on the concrete. Not giving a second to address her injuries, she saw that Sunset was already at the top of the steps and running into the school.

“Sunset!”

She followed her fellow unicorn through the empty halls of Canterlot High. Classes had already ended for the day and only a few students lingered with their various extracurricular activities.

Sunset stopped at one room, opened the door, inspecting the inside for a moment, before running off again. Starlight took a moment to examine the room after Sunset. Poking in, she saw what appeared to be remnants of a science lab.

Catching up with Sunset, Starlight was afraid the other was losing her mind. Sunset kept yelling out Twilight's name and furiously tapping on her phone. Her face lit up when it buzzed. With a slight smile, she darted off; Starlight quick at her heels.

Sunset tore open the door to the music room. “Twilight!” she screamed and ran inside.

Starlight leaned against the doorpost, trying to catch her breath. Inside, she saw the other girls gathered around Twilight and what appeared to be some sort of confetti-making machine. Twilight was feeding stacks of papers into it. The other girls seemed to have been startled by Sunset's presence. Exclamations filled the air. Mostly those of concern.

Sunset, though, seemed to ignore them. All her attention was on Twilight.

“Twilight!” she said, sternly, “Stop it!”

“No!” the other yelled through her tears.

"But this is madness! I didn't want this! If you'd read my letter, you'd know I'd never want this!"

"That's what we've been trying to tell her!" chimed Rainbow.

"It doesn't matter" Twilight said sadly, “If science is the reason I've lost you, then I can no longer want be a part of it.”

“But throwing away your life's work?" Sunset let out a soft growl, pinching the bridge of her nose. "It's not about the science, Twilight. If you didn't have it, what would have you done? Gotten me drunk? Used an actual date rape drug?”

“If this is how things are, then that is how it must be.” She yelped when Sunset marched right up to her.

“Twilight, you're not thinking rationally. Give me that!” She gripped the papers in Twilight's hands. The two struggled for a moment before Sunset eventually won, pulling them free and placing them safely away on a nearby desk.

Twilight fought back, but Sunset grabbed her wrists; quickly subduing her. Sunset's grip was firm, but gentle. She let Twilight have her little fit before pulling and folding the girl into herself. She wrapped her arms around Twilight as her screams gave way to sobs. Sunset felt the tears soak through her shirt. She only tightened her embrace, placing tender kisses on the top of Twilight's head.

Sunset looked to the other girls gathered, silently asking them for some privacy. They understood her message and, soon, the two were alone.

It was a time before Twilight finally calmed down. She snaked her arms under Sunset's jacket and around her waist, breathing in deeply, taking in her scent. She smelled like somepony who probably hadn't showered in a few days, but that didn't matter. She was back in the arms of her Sunny again, even if for one final time.

This brought a new wave of tears. She grit her teeth as she recounted all the pain she had caused. “I'm sorry” she whispered, “Sunset, I'm so sorry. I never should have... I acted selfishly. I should have respected your...” Her voice became lost to her sobs.

Sunset gave a gentle shush, her own eyes misting. “I know. I'm sorry, too. I should have been more open with you. I should have listened to you. I never meant to hurt you.”

"Don't apologize! You did nothing wrong! You never did anything wrong. I should have listened. I've never listened!

"I should have respected your boundaries. I should have accepted when you said no."

“I should have told you the truth when you asked.”

Twilight sniffled. "What is the truth?"

Sunset released a long sigh. “I wanted to wait. Wait for when the time was right. I wanted to make it special—for you, Twilight. We were talking about your first time, our first time. And, I wanted it to be perfect. I didn't want you to ever think of sex as meaningless... like me...”

“... Sunset... I...” Twilight bit her lip when Sunset gave her a silencing finger.

“I'm sorry. I should have told you about Flash and me.”

“I know about you and Flash. You told me you slept with him. I've known that nearly as long as I've known you.”

“Yeah,” Sunset smiled, resting her chin on Twilight's head, “well, that's no secret. The whole school knows we were together. But I've always spared the details.” She let out a sigh, “Truth is, with no emotional connection, what we did were just actions. Every time, I came out feeling more hallow. It only caused me to do it more, and empty myself even more. It just became a routine thing. Eventually, I grew tired of it. Little did I realize at the time, the same was happening to Flash. And, it was me doing it to him...

“I hate myself for what I did to him. Looking back, at the time, I saw Flash as a tool—a means towards my end. I used by body against him, to control him.

“I loved you, Twilight. I wanted to respect you. I couldn't do to you what I did to Flash.”

Twilight sniffled. “Here I was thinking you were just dragging your feet. Why didn't you tell me this before?”

“These wounds run deep for me, Twi. I would rather not have to open them again. Though, I really should have told you regardless. I just didn't really want to go there unless it was necessary. "

“It wasn't.”

Sunset's eyes shot open, stupefied. Her body stiffened and her brain began to flip between confusion and outright rage.

Twilight continued; her voice but a faint whisper. “When you asked if it was good for me. It wasn't. I couldn't enjoy it. Even with the ecstasy of your skin rubbing against mine; all the pleasurable things you did to me. In the back of my mind, guilt began to haunt me. Everything you did, I was reminded you really didn't have full control. It really wasn't you wanted. It was what I wanted.

"But, that wasn't the worst of it. The worst was that morning when I realized that you had no memory if it. I never intended for that. I wanted you to experience it, too; to remember it just as much as me.”

She plunged her face into Sunset's chest, newfound tears flowing. “I'm sorry, Sunset! I'm so very sorry! I was wrong! I wasn't ready. I was a fool. I can understand and accept that you're breaking up with me. But, Sunset, please, forgive me!”

Sunset felt her heart breaking. She wrapped her arms further around the sobbing girl and held her tightly. “If it will help you live with yourself, and aid your healing process, then of course I forgive you, Twilight.

"But, the damage has been done. Still...”

She pulled away and, with gentle fingers, raised Twilight's chin. With her other hand, she wiped away Twilight's tears, allowing her own to fall. She held Twilight's head gently in her hands before gently leaning in, bringing their lips closer. She let them linger there, allowing their breaths to mingle. Within her breast, her heart surged, her breathing deepened. Unable to control herself any further, she pressed their lips together.

“Oh, by Celestia, do I ever love you.”

---

Outside in the hall, Rainbow, Rarity, and Starlight leaned against the door, prying to hear what was going on inside. Rainbow had snatched a glass cup from the cafeteria and had it sandwiched between the door and her ear.

“They're quiet!” Rarity whispered, “What's going on in there?”

“I don't know. Either they started kissing, or they've killed each other. Wait... no... definitely kissing. Oh!” she inhaled sharply, “Yeah... Mmph!... yeah...”

Starlight let out a deep sigh. “That's a relief!” She and Rarity paused be bewilderment upon hearing the sound of heavy breathing. Looking down, Starlight grimaced as she could only imagine what Rainbow was doing a half-forearm deep into her pants.

“Rainbow Dash!” Rarity snatched the glass. “Eew! Have you no sense of privacy?"

"...or decency?” Starlight winced.

Rainbow wiped her hand on her shirt. “Pfft! Whatever! Face it, those two are hawt! Anyway, might want to ask the janitor for some disinfectant. They're totally gonna have some hot n' steamy makeup sex in there.”

Rarity's eye twitched. It took her everything to control herself, but lost. “I'll give you 'some hot n' steamy makeup sex'—Right up the ass with this glass!”

“O-oh!” Rainbow yelled, running down the hall, “Kinky!”

Starlight watched the two girls chase each other down the corridor, attempting to process the scene she just witnessed. Eventually, she saw it best to forget it. Heaving out a sigh, she shook her head. “Now I know why Twilight doesn't visit here very often.”

“Where are we going? Your apartment is that way.” Twilight pointed in the direction opposite in which Sunset was facing.

“I never said we were going to my place.”

“You said we were going to spend the week together...”

“I did and we are. You just assumed it was going to be at my place.”

“Are... are you kidnapping me?”

“Maybe... if you want.”

The red light they were at turned green and, with the roar of the motorcycle drowning out all other noise, Twilight decided to remain silent.

It had been a long season of changes. With high school graduation now far behind them, the girls had gone their separate ways in pursuit of their careers. Though they sought to keep in contact as much as possible.

With Twilight now home for summer break, Sunset had suggested that they steal away for a week—just the two of them.

At first, Twilight was apprehensive. Summer was now the only time they could all be together, and girls wanted to have as much time with each other as they could. With their first year of postsecondary complete, there was much to go on about.

Sunset, though, proved to be quite the planner. Somehow, she managed to pick a week that the other girls just happened to be busy as well.

Still then, Twilight had another problem. Sunset never mentioned exactly what she had in mind. Her only instructions were to "pack for a week". Ever-control-freak Twilight insisted Sunset tell her her plans, but the other girl remained button-lipped.

After a while, Twilight stopped caring about where they were going. All she knew was, wherever Sunset was driving to, she was taking scenic route.

As the mid-summer landscape flew past them, Twilight was content to have her arms wrapped around her girlfriend; the cool air whipped around them; their bodies pressed warmly together on the motorbike. Twilight leaned her head into Sunset's back and wished the ride would never end.

Unfortunately, it did, and Twilight found herself in the portico of a very elegant building.

She removed her bike helmet. “Sunset, where are we?”

Sunset pointed to the hotel sign bolted to the stone veneer facade and playfully mocked: “You can't read?” She walked over to hand her bike keys to the valet, though there was a slight hesitation on her part. She surveyed the young man and wondered if he'd even ridden a bicycle before.

Thankfully, he saw her trepidation. “Don't worry, Miss.” he said in a gentle voice, “I'll just walk it back there.”

Sunset smiled in gratitude and made sure to give him a hefty tip.

“I can... I just don't believe it.” Twilight gasped a giggle, “You know how expensive this place is? How can you even afford...?”

Sunset let out a chuckle. She handed their bags to the bellhop and pulled Twilight in for a kiss. “Just shut up and come on.”

Twilight gawked in the lobby while Sunset checked them in. She had only been here twice before herself, both times with her mother on one of her book conventions. Only once had they spent the night.

With a gentle tug from Sunset, Twilight followed the bellhop up to their suite. He opened the room for them and moved their bags inside.

Twilight was the first to walk in and take a look around. The room was quite large. The curtains and windows were open, revealing the reflection of sunset over the ocean. Twilight stood on the balcony and closed her eyes, taking in a deep breath of the warm, salty air. Returning to the room, she noted the interior lighting was soft-dimmed, adding an intimate, sensual feeling. There was a large bed with some red dots littered on it the comforter and around it on the floor. Upon closer inspection, she saw they were rose petals. Her heart leapt as she turned around with a gasp.

“Sunset!”

“Surprised?” Sunset smiled, gently closing the door.

"A... Ba... Well... Yes!"

Sunset's smile widened at Twilight's sputter. “Told you I wanted to make it special.”

“But... Are you...? Are you sure?”

“As sure as sure.” She rubbed the back of her neck, “That is, if you are. I don't want to rush you into anyth—”

She was silenced by arms wrapping around her neck and Twilight's lips pressed upon hers. It had been a short kiss, no more than a peck, but those few seconds, in Sunset's mind were an eternity. It sent shockwaves to her brain, melting it and reaking havoc on her systems. Her breathing was short and quick; her heart pounded within her breast. She was glad Twilight was holding her, for she was sure she had lost all motor control.

She licked her lips, savoring the lingering taste of Twilight. She opened her mouth, but only turned to a wide grin when she saw Twilight was doing the same.

Composing herself, Sunset quickly turned and dug through her suitcase. “Here,” she pulled out a paper shopping bag and handed it Twilight, “I got you a little something to wear for dinner. Why don't you change and I'll see if the food's ready. Unless,” she gave a sly smile, “you want to jump straight to dessert?”

“No,” Twilight giggled sheepishly, “I was too wrapped up in getting ready, I missed lunch. So, now, I'm super hungry.”

Sunset let out a devious chuckle as she picked up the hotel phone and watched Twilight make a run for the bathroom.

Twilight sprinted into the bathroom and closed the door behind her. She leaned against it and closed her eyes, clutching her hands and package to her chest, wishing to still her racing heart. She wouldn't just yet give Sunset the satisfaction of seeing her blush and giddy as schoolgirl. She examined at the parcel Sunset had given her. Instantly, she could see it was from Rarity's boutique. Her mind only wondered what it could be.

“On it's way?” Sunset confirmed with the restaurant staff on the line. “That's great!... No, you're completely fine. We're just getting settled... Okay, see ya in a bit... Thanks, you too!” Sunset was just about to hang up the phone when Twilight emerged from the bathroom.

“Well?” She leaned a hand against the doorway, illuminated from behind by the bathroom light, allowing Sunset to get a well-lit view. The bathroom light outlined her form, highlighting every curve and giving her a heavenly glow. Within the bag, Twilight had found a short, simple, but elegant black cocktail dress. It hugged tightly to her form, promoting and accentuating her curves. It was expertly cut to conceal, but also gently reveal all the right areas. Though her glasses remained on, she let her hair down, allowing her long hair to frame her shoulders.

To her own surprise, Twilight enjoyed flaunting her body in this manner. Nor did it seem unnatural to be exposing so much skin. She gave sultry gaze as she twirled slightly, allowing Sunset a good view from multiple angles.

Sunset dropped the handset.

Twilight let out a giggle as Sunset fumbled to return the receiver to the hook. She brought her neatly-folded clothes out of the bathroom and placed them next to her suitcase. Sunset followed her silently with her her eyes.

“My,” Twilight said, sultrily. She put a hand on her hip, relishing the redness growing in Sunset's face. “Rarity must know her stuff, if this has gotten you this speechless.”

“I didn't go to Rarity” Sunset struggled to say. She moved to adjust her collar, only to realize she had removed her riding jacket and was wearing a low-cut shirt.

“Oh?” Twilight quickly reverted to her usual, adorkable, self. “But... I thought...?”

“It's from the boutique she works for, yes, but I went a day she wasn't working. I explained to her boss I couldn't have her knowing. (You know how she is when she's got a juicy secret). Don't worry, I ensured that she got the commission.”

Twilight nodded. “Good plan. Couldn't have her ruin the surprise. Suppose she knows by now.”

“Perhaps... Though, not much left to imagination when you say you're going for a week alone with your girlfriend.”

Twilight rolled her eyes and giggled. “Especially for Rainbow Dash. Though, I certainly wasn't thinking this.”

"I... It felt like the right time."

Twilight stuck out her tongue. "Took you long enough!"

"Hey," Sunset mock scolded, "you said you would move at my pace." Her playful scowl was wiped away by Twilight's lips.

"And I'm glad I did." She gave a wide smile. Anything to hide the exhilaration building within her. She wasn't lying. The time she and Sunset had taken to rebuild their relationship without the physical had made the reveal of these moments all the more relishing.

“So,” she shifted, “you gonna change?”

“What?” Sunset was snapped from a trance of her own, “Oh, I'm gonna wait for the food first.” There was a knock on the door. “And there it is!” She leapt from the writing desk and bolted for the door, nearly tripping over her feet. A moment later, she rolled in a cart. Twilight caught a whiff of the delicious aroma steaming from beneath the plate covers. Undoubtedly, most were vegetarian.

“Okay,” Sunset rubbed her palms together. She surveyed the table, making sure everything was perfect. Satisfied, she grabbed her own boutique bag and made a mad dash to the bathroom. “You can start on the hors d'oeurvers. I won't be long.”

Twilight looked over the table. As expected, it was mostly vegetarian. However, she did notice some seafood. The hors d'oeuvers included a bit of smoked salmon and caviar, while the entree contained a side dish of steamed mussels.

A slight grin crossed her lips. The table was incomplete.

Sunset had forgotten to light the candles.

She grabbed a nearby matchbook, smiling as the candles' light illuminated the food.

Deserving of a reward, she took a little taste of the caviar on a cracker and noticed the drink served with the meal. She lifted the bottle from the ice bucket. “Is this... wine?” she said, aloud.

“De-alcoholized” Sunset replied through the bathroom door, “So, technically, it's non-alcoholic, but still tastes like the real stuff—somewhat. That's the one downside of this side of the portal. You know, in Equestria, I could walk in and purchase a wagon-load of alcohol, and no one would bat an eye. Granted, they may wonder why I'm buying so much...but you know what I mean: no ID check, or anything...” She emerged from the bathroom. “Well? I can't expect to receive the same reaction as you.”

Twilight turned to see her lover in the doorway. Sunset had on a similar outfit, but, instead of black, it was a deep red. A similar redness came to Twilight's face and a gasp escaped her throat. If not for the deep growl in the pit of her stomach, she would have reversed her initial stance and insisted on forgoing dinner in favor of dessert.

“Eh,” Sunset smiled with a shrug, “I'll take it.” She approached Twilight and took the bottle from her hands. “Better give me this before you drop it.” She uncorked the bottle and poured out the liquid into two wine glasses. Setting them on the table, Sunset pulled out a chair for Twilight.

Pushing in Twilight's chair, Sunset caught a whiff of lavender. She leaned forward and sniffed Twilight's hair. Then moved to her neck. “Mmm...” she mused, “You put on perfume.”

Twilight turned and stole a kiss. “Like it?”

Sunset licked her lips, the taste of sweet lip balm transferred from the kiss. She took her seat next to Twilight and grabbed her napkin. “It's not all I like.”

With a clink of the glasses, and a taste of the wine, they began their dinner.

They ate in silence, though neither could take their eyes off the other. Through their gazes, they engaged in deep, quiet convetsation.

Twilight ruined it, however, letting out a chuckle as Sunset took a bite of steamed mussels. "I don't think I'll ever get over you being a pescetarian."

"I've been one since your cousin's wedding."

"But ponies don't eat meat."

“You're right, we don't. But, seeing how you and your family liked it, I decided to give it a try.”

Twilight let out a slight shiver as she remembered the event. The wedding dinner had included oysters on a half shell. Having never eaten it before, Twilight decided try one. Her conclusion was “Never again”.

Though, she wasn't the only one that day to have a seafood mishap. "As I recall," she said, slyly, "It wasn't entirely your decision."

Sunset nearly choked on her food in her laughter.

It was true, the non-vegetarian option was not her first choice. Through an honest mix up, Sunset had been given the regular meal by mistake.

Unfortunately, the error went unnoticed until she found herself with a mouthful of trout. Though, to everyone's surprise, including her own, Sunset found she rather liked it.

“Doesn't that go against your no-meat thing?” Twilight asked.

Sunset shrugged. “I primarily have an objection to eating four-legged land animals because, well, I guess I am one, but I also had many interactions with other similar animals, or animal-like beasts, in Equestria. Fish, not so much.” She let out a light laugh. “I wouldn't have lasted this long at my sushi job otherwise.”

“I thought it was just because they're paying you under the table...”

“That, too.” She took a bite of a salmon hors d'oeurver. “Plus, fish is said to be healthier for you. Seeing as I can't afford to get sick over here, might as well be careful with what I eat.”

“Why have I never seen you eat it when we're with the girls?”

Sunset smirked. “Good seafood is expensive. If you check my pantry, you'll find cans of cheap tuna and sardines. I also don't know how to properly cook it, so I generally eat it cold in salads. Also, being that Fluttershy is vegan, I try to not eat it when we're out with the girls.”

“Really? I didn't know that. I thought she was just a vegetarian.”

“Nope. Actually, she's soft vegan. Of course, she wouldn't say anything—so, not a word of this to the others. She appreciates you girls limiting your meat consumption around her. But, she doesn't want to become a burden. Besides, milk and eggs aren't as big as an abomination as flesh. Hence, she'll tolerate the times we have pizza, or, any sort of dairy. You never noticed? Pay attention next time we order food at the food court, or something.” She took a sip of her drink. “I worry about her, though.”

“Worry?”

“She's just so tiny and frail-looking. I just worry that she's not getting all the nutrients these forms need.” She gestured to their bodies. “It wouldn't be such a big deal as a pony. Our nutrient needs are different. Actually, the Fluttershy in Equestria appears to be of a healthier weight than the one here.”

“You talked to her about it?”

“No. I confided in Rainbow, being they're childhood friends and all. But, she told me not to worry. Fluttershy has always had a very slim physique and been perfectly healthy. I guess she's just one of those people...”

Twilight smiled and leaned her head upon Sunset's shoulder. “You're such a great big sister to the girls.”

“Guess that's what I get for being the oldest...”

Twilight was puzzled for a moment. “Right, ” she said, “ages between here and Equestria don't quite line up.

"You know, I've never asked you: How did you handle hanging around all those teenagers?”

“Honestly?” Sunset raised her eyebrows, “I wanted to strangle half of them. How about you, Miss Prep? How did you cope going from high academic standards to public school's sub-par?”

Twilight giggled. “They were just lucky I completed all my gen-ed requirements years ago and was only taking classes for fun.” Her smile faded. A twinge of sadness was in her voice. “Do you miss Equestria?”

“I suppose. It is where I lived most my life. But then, you often miss the places you've lived.”

“I wouldn't know. I've lived my whole life in the same house. And moving into a dorm is not the same as moving out.”

“Well, what about Crystal Prep? It was practically a second home to you. Is there nothing from there you have fond memories of? Perhaps, even miss?”

“Well," Twilight tapped her chin, "I guess there was my lab. And, they have an exceptional library catalog. Then, there is the late Nineteenth Century architecture--”

“Okay,” Sunset stopped her, “clearly, you missed some things.”

“Yeah,” Twilight gave a chuckle, “I guess you're right.” There was a brief silence. “Um, Sunset?”

“Yes?”

Twilight shifted in her seat. "There's something I've been meaning to ask you."

Sunset remained quiet, but gave a visual cue to continue.

“What are your plans? Now that we've graduated? ...and I'm off at school?”

Sunset fiddled with her food, her face sullen. “Why you ask?”

“The girls mentioned something that you spoke about once. They said that you were thinking of going back to Equestria.”

Sunset set down her cutlery a sigh. “Twilight,” she hesitated, “you know I can't stay in this world indefinitely. At some point, I will need to return to Equestria. I have no history, no documentation whatsoever. I can't apply for federal grants, or scholarships. So, college is almost of the question—unless I find one that's really cheap, or dishonest. Even if I don't go to school, what do I do? I'll need to have a job and there aren't many job opportunities here for someone without a degree or past. Principal Celestia has offered me a job in the cafeteria, but...”

Twilight raised an eyebrow as Sunset suddenly turned to the dramatic.

“I was the protege of the ruler of Equestria, Princess of the Day, Raiser of the Sun! And you put me in a filthy, commoner's school cafeteria?” Her scowl gave way to a grin as she couldn't hold back her laughter any longer. How she enjoyed poking at bit of fun at her old self.

“Don't get me wrong,” she said, a bit more seriously, “to some, I'm sure it's a very rewarding career. It's just...”

“...not really your thing” smiled Twilight, giving Sunset's hand a squeeze. “I know. You crave adventure. So, you're just going to leave? Just like that?”

“More like move residences. I'm still working it out with Princess Twilight. Yes, I would live in Equestria, but all my friends are here. I would come over to visit, like Princess Twilight does. Only, more frequently and for longer periods of time. In the long term, this makes the most sense. I can't hang around Canterlot High forever guarding the portal (which is partly why I'm considering the cafeteria job)—but I can do it better from the Equestrian side.

“Anyway, with my geode, I'm now bound in some way to this world. I can't leave it forever.”

“But,” Twilight looked sadly at her plate, “you are thinking about it.”

“Hang on!” Sunset yelped. She grabbed Twilight's hands and held them tightly. “This was all mostly before... before I had you. And, yes, when I thought I'd lost you. Like my geode, you're what keeps me anchored to this world. And, I would never wish to weigh it as long as you are here.” She wiped a thumb over Twilight's cheek, brushing away her tears. “Besides, we're talking two to three years out, at least. You and the girls'll be deep in your studies by then, or well into your careers. I have a little money saved, so I can still continue living here for a while.”

Twilight leaned into Sunset's palm, savoring the caress. “Sunset, what if—and I'm not saying that it will or won't—but, what if, one day, we decide that we want to spend the rest of our lives together? Would you still return to Equestria?”

Sunset kissed the tender hands in hers and placed them over her heart, making sure that Twilight could feel every movement within. “If building a life together is what it turns out to be, then I will do everything I can to make sure that I stay here. If it meant all my days began and ended with you by my side, then I could think of nothing better than to live them all out here.”

Twilight hung onto the words for a moment. Tears fell from her eyes and fanned the fire that was growing within her since they arrived; and she dared not quell it. Throwing inhibition to the wind, she leaned in and pressed her lips onto Sunset's. It caught the other slightly off-guard, but she quickly melted into it and began reciprocating the advance. Their kisses grew in fervor 'till Twilight couldn't hold back any longer. She began to rise. Sunset followed, kicking the chairs out of the way; their lips never losing contact. They stumbled for a while before collapsing onto the bed.

Twilight let out a gasp as Sunset's lips left from her mouth, tracing her jaw and traveled down her neck. She could feel Sunset's hands gliding all over her body, exploring every curve and crevice. Little did Twilight realize she was doing the same. She let out a shuddered gasp as Sunset's hand found its way up her inner thigh.

Then it all stopped. Twilight opened her eyes to see Sunset with a rather confused look on her face. “What?” she breathed, propping herself on her elbows.

“It's just...” Sunset began, “I thought for sure I had purchased underwear with this.”

Twilight let out a light chuckle. She cupped Sunset's face in her hands and brought their lips back together. “Silly pony,” she whispered between kisses, “you seriously wanted to have to deal with underwear in this situation?” She moaned as Sunset's hand pushed deeper.

“I guess not.”

Twilight skillfully wiggled out of her dress. She grabbed Sunset's and, with one move, the garments were gone and on the floor.

The lovers returned to their exploring. Each wanting to savor the other with their senses. Sunset had long succumb to the effects of Twilight's perfume. It teased her all through dinner. Every time Twilight moved, it sent a gentle waft up Sunset's nose and down to her sex. She traveled Twilight's now naked body with her nose, inhaling her deeply.

Twilight's hands continued examining Sunset's lean body. She had already managed to undo Sunset's bra and moved her panties to her knees. Tactility identifying every muscle, her fingertips lightly glided across Sunset's skin. A shutter of delight rippled through Sunset's body and Twilight began to wonder what other manners of touch Sunset liked.

She was momentarily distracted when Sunset's sniffing turned to kissing. Twilight let a gasp as lips made their way to her chest as she was proceeded to be assaulted by various oral pleasures. The contact tingled her skin and Twilight audibly wished it continue. Her hands grabbed a hold of Sunset's ears and began massaging them, beginning with the edges of the outer ear and making her way towards the base. Figuring, if other animals liked it, Sunset, being a pony, might like it, too. She was perplexed when Sunset stopped moving. She looked at her lover. “Not good?” Twilight asked.

“No,” Sunset whispered with a slight smile, taking the moment to regain her breath, “it's actually very relaxing. Keep that up and you'll put me to sleep.”

“Well,” Twilight grinned, “we can't have that.” She gently pulled Sunset's ear closer to her mouth and preceded to gently nibble at the appendage. A breathed laugh escaped her lips when Sunset let out an equine snort.

Sunset quickly made with pulling off her panties there rest of the way. She would have thrown them to the ground had Twilight snatched them from her hand and held them to her nose. The nerdy girl inhaled deeply. In a single whiff, she could see all she was doing to Sunset. And she loved it. She scent of her lover's arousal further fueled her own. A fire burned in her eyes.

A smile crept across Sunset's lips. “I guess I'm not the only one turned on by scent.”

“You want to smell something?” Twilight smirked. She reached up and grabbed Sunset by the hair and gently pulled her down on top of her. Spreading her legs, she ushered her lover in. “Smell this.”

Sunset's heartbeat quickened and vision blurred as she got an exclusive view of Twilight. The sight and smell of the excitement being radiated was intoxicating, only enhancing Sunset's own. She closed her eyes and allowed the aroma to overpower her. The whole made her feel lightheaded, but she loved the thought of being drunk on Twilight. Leaning in, she brought her lips to Twilight's entrance, kissing it tenderly. Above, she heard Twilight release a shuddered breath, which only made her kiss deepen. Twilight squirmed with delight; her breathing became shallow and prolonged. Sunset began to worry that she may stop breathing all together. With a final breath, she broke away and began kissing, licking, and nibbling her way back up Twilight's body.

Twilight mouth met Sunset's with new anticipation. The sweet taste on her lips drove her to new heights she never knew. She brought out her tongue and licked Sunset's lips, lapping up every drop of essence. Sure Sunset's lips were clean, Twilight plunged her tongue through Sunset's lips, surveying the oral territory. With a few swift moves, she overthrew the occupant, and claimed dominance.

Sunset reciprocated Twilight's kiss, engaging in a counterattack with her body. She rolled her hips in small circles against Twilight's, gently grinding against her. She continued the rolling motion up to their stomachs, then to their chests, pressing their naked bodies closer together. With every new movement, she wrapped her arms tighter around Twilight. Beneath, Twilight's breathing deepened. She combed and groped Sunset's hair with her fingers, moaning and groaning, pleading for more.

Sunset was quick to oblige. She moved a hand down and gentle fingers began to massage Twilight's delicate area. Her other hand remained above, surveying the landscape. She knew she was doing well, because Twilight's noises became louder and more erotic. Her body writhed, her hips moved involuntarily, moving and nudging herself against Sunset's hand, hungry for her touch.

Sunset let out a deep-throated call of her own, which sounded more like a nicker. Twilight's cries were her fuel, her master. She was a meeked pony and she responded in kind. She ended their kiss and set her mouth to working on Twilight's neck, while her other hand moved down to her own throbbing area. She rubbed herself, exhaling moans onto Twilight's soft skin. Her lips made their way to between Twilight's breasts and followed the curve till her nose touched a perked bit of flesh. She licked it with her moist tongue before enveloping her lips around it.

Twilight closed her eyes tightly as Sunset began to suckle; her hands gripped at Sunset's fiery mane, enticing her lover further. All her body was ablaze. Yet, she felt a cool breeze in her groin where Sunset's fingers danced. An odd feeling she'd never felt before. Almost as if she were opening herself up, ready to receive. “Sunset!” she gasped, “I think... I'm ready!”

Sunset seemed to understand what she said because, almost immediately, she felt something plunge into her. In an instant, a spasm came up through her body and exited her lips in a scream of pure pleasure. Sunset heard her and continued to remove and reinsert the object with more momentum, moving it around within. Twilight's breathing became erratic and deep. Her back arched as she felt her climax coming, but then it stopped. Twilight's eyes snapped open. She found Sunset's face before her. She was smiling and panting heavily.

“Don't you think you're gonna finish without me” she winked.

Twilight looked down. Sunset had re-positioned herself in such a way so that both their most intimate parts were touching. Sunset made a quick thrust of her hips and Twilight fell back onto the bed, a shudder of delight surging through her body. She heard a chuckle out of Sunset and, soon, their mouths were back together. Sunset moved her hips again and Twilight let out a muffled cry into her lover's mouth.

Another movement from Sunset and Twilight found herself bucking back an answer. Twilight felt Sunset let out a deep moan. She returned with another movement and Twilight replied. This back and forth continued, till they found their rhythm. Above, as below, their lips remained locked in a vicious battle.

Sunset had moved her hands from Twilight to the bed to support herself. So, Twilight decided to up the ante. She moved her hands to wander Sunset's chest, poking, prodding, pulling, squeezing. A grin came to her face when her efforts produced a guttural moan. Pushing Sunset further, Twilight took Sunset's breasts in her grasps and kneaded them.

Sunset let out shuddered gasp as she felt her energy and strength begin to wane. All her muscles burned, begging for release. “Twilight,” she whispered “I don't know how much longer...”

“Just...a...litt—AAH!”

That scream drove Sunset on. She quickened her pace and Twilight struggled to keep up. A fire grew within their breasts and inguinal regions. Though, Twilight wondered if friction may have had something to do with it, she didn't have much time to dwell on it. In fact, she didn't have time to dwell on anything besides Sunset. Her cries had spurred her pony further. Sunset was in full gallop and Twilight felt she was coming and coming hard.

“Sun...ny...”

“Twi...”

A final movement from Sunset and a shock surged through Twilight. Her body seized; her jaw and hands clenched down on Sunset in a silent scream.

Twilight's reaction to her orgasm was the missing piece Sunset needed to send over the edge. Her own ecstasy hitting her, Sunset let out final whinny.

Twilight laid back on the bed, panting. “That...was...”

“...amazing!” Sunset untangled their legs and rolled off Twilight, falling beside her. She paid no mind to her bleeding bottom lip.

“To borrow from Rainbow: Awesome!” she rolled onto her stomach and laid her head and shoulders over Sunset's abdomen. There, the two laid, catching their breaths and basking in the afterglow.

An ocean breeze drifted in and wafted over their sweat-slick bodies, causing the two to shiver slightly, but pleasantly.

Down from her high, Twilight turned her attention back to Sunset. She gasped when she saw the red lip. She quickly got up and attended to injury. “Sunset! I'm sorry! Are you okay?”

Sunset raised a hand to her mouth. She could feel the indentation from Twilight's teeth. “I think I'll live” she grinned, “Though, you seems like you've left your mark on me.”

"Sunset..."

"What can I say? I like a woman with bite." She saw that her girlfriend was clearly distressed. "Hey," she said softly, "It's fine, really."

Twilight wasn't convinced. Her eyes misted at the thought that she had hurt Sunset. She insisted on examining the lip and “kissing it better”. Satisfied with the prognoses, she returned to laying on Sunset's stomach, gently gliding her fingers along her girlfriend's smooth skin. “Now, spill.” she kissed, “How are you paying for all this?”

Sunset tried not to laugh from the soft kisses tickling her stomach. She raised a hand and gently kneaded Twilight between the shoulder blades. “I saved up.”

Twilight gave a playful slap. “Liar!”

“Stole it.”

“Sunset!”

Sunset smiled. “Fine, I borrowed the money.”

“From?”

“Really?”

“Who would give you this much money?” She raised onto her elbows and grabbed her lover's hand. Her eyes deep with concerned. “Please, Sunny, don't make me worry.”

Sunset let out a laugh. “It's not the mob!”

“Then, who?”

Sunset paused for a moment. “You promise not to be mad?”

Twilight laid back down. “Promise.”

Sunset continued her massage. “Your parents.”

“You're kidding!”

“Nope.”

“How?”

Sunset let out a sigh. “I told them I wanted to do something special with their daughter and that I needed them to front a few bucks.”

“More than a few...Wait...” She sat up, wide-eyed, “Do they know?”

“I wasn't exactly explicit. However, I imagine they managed to put two and two together. I doubt they would have lent me the money if they weren't okay with it.”

“Oh,” Twilight made a playful scowl, “so you need their permission?”

“No, but I figured it would a goodwill gesture to seek their blessing.” She reached out a hand and cupped a cheek. “They love you very much, Twi. And, I wanted to make it clear to them that so do I.” She traced her fingertips down her neck, “And that I respected them as much as I do you.” Her fingers continued down the collar bone and down Twilight's arm, ending with their fingers laced together. The touch made Twilight let out an audible gasp. She grabbed Sunset's wandering hand and placed it over her breast. Sunset obediently caressed the orb, making circular motions with her thumb, inciting deep breathes from Twilight.

With Sunset's hand still on her, Twilight laid back down, resting her head upon her love's breast. She listened to the steady beating of her heart. A sadness grew within her own. “Do they know about...?” She breathed sharply as Sunset found her nipple and started playing with it.

“Not unless you told them. As far as they know, you punched your V-card tonight.”

Twilight's voice choked. “I wish I had...”

“Hey now!” Sunset wrapped her free arm around Twilight and hugged her tightly. “None of that. We promised to put all that behind us.”

“I know. But still...”

“Shh...” she kissed the top of Twilight's head and deepened her embrace as she felt the tears fall from her lover's eyes. “You know,” Sunset said, once Twilight had calmed down, “I've done a little research into those ingredients of yours, among others, and, I think I may want to try some.” She felt Twilight tense. “Not all at once, and definitely not as one of your concoctions." She giggled as Twilight gave her a playful smack. "I mean: we'll just find some reputable edibles and go from there.”

Twilight hesitated. “You sure...?”

“I'm not opposed to experimenting.”

A broad smile leapt to her lips. “Really?”

“With you?” Sunset grinned, “Really.”

“Well, on that subject,” she climbed atop Sunset, straddling her stomach. She took her lover by the wrists and gently raised her arms over her head, tying them together with a pillowcase. Leaning forward, her lips teased Sunset's forehead. “Shall we try for a round two?”

Sunset swallowed, trying to stay calm, despite her body shaking in wild anticipation as Twilight's tender kisses moved slowly downward. “W-what did you have in mind?”
