"BEEP BEEP BEEP" heard Pan as her alarm clock went off. She groggily reached out and hit the button before she got out of bed and straightened up her pajamas as she looked herself in the mirror and said, "Alright girl, today's gonna be a good day."

She then walked into the kitchen and was greeted by the usual smell of bacon and eggs and the sight of her mom, Videl, cooking as she turned to her and said, "Well someone's up early, Giru's power cells haven't even finished cycling yet."

Pan yawned and nodded in agreement as she thought of how her robotic friend was still "sleeping" on the table in her room. "Normally I'd be in there with him, but I have plans."

She sat down next to her dad, Gohan, who smiled at her as he said, "Well alright! So what's my little lady up too today?"

Pan yawned again before she said, "Oh, not much. First I'm heading over to Bulla's place and we're gonna hang out at the mall. Then I'll head over to Grandma Chi-Chi's diner to meet Grandpa Satan for lunch."

Gohan leaned back in thought as he said, "I still can't believe mom owns a diner now."

Videl chuckled as she placed the food on the table and sat down saying, "Well I'm not, I mean i'm sure even on her busiest day she's not making as much as she needed to make to keep you, your dad, and your brother full."

Pan laughed as Gohan blushed saying, "Hey, I don't eat that much!"

"Of course you don't, you Saiyans are all about moderation," said Videl sarcastically as she placed a third plate of bacon in front of Gohan and Pan respectively and watched while they each devoured their food without even fully realizing they did it. She turned to Pan and smiled as she said, "Sounds like a good way to spend a day. Gonna get as much fun in as you can before school starts ay?"

"Yup," responded Pan as she munched away on the bacon and washed it down with some orange juice.

"Speaking of which, you haven't told us if you want to go back to Orange Star for another semester or go somewhere else," said Gohan.

"Oh yeah," said Pan as she slowed down eating for a moment. She had originally planned on going to Orange Star for all of high school, but, thanks to her father's tutoring, she had managed to ace her freshman finals and was now receiving recruitment brochures from pretty much every private school in the world. And while there were some things in her life she had been wanting to change lately, she didn't think private school was the way to do it as she responded, "I'm still not sure yet."

Gohan chuckled as he said, "Well you better decide soon, we're not gonna let you trick us into giving you a semester off by pretending you can't decide until the last minute."

Videl ate her own breakfast as she said, "Now honey, you know Pan isn't the type to trick us like that. Besides taking a semester off wouldn't be the worst thing in the world."

"True, I definitely wouldn't want to be as hard on her about school as my mom was for me," said Gohan.

This caused the mental image of the gentle Gohan yelling about studying, which only produced several giggles and snickers from each of them that lightened the mood. They then simply finished their breakfast while quietly enjoying each others company before Pan said, "Whelp, I better start getting ready to head out."

She then got up as her parents said, "Have a good day sweetie."

"Thanks papa, thanks mama, I will," said Pan as she headed to the bathroom and grabbed a quick shower. As she prepared to leave the bathroom she looked at herself in the mirror and thought, "Should I brush my hair... or maybe do it into a pony tail or something?" She meshed with her tangled up bed head in the mirror before she smiled at herself and shook her head thinking, "Nah; vanity is more Bulla's department... besides... it will all be covered up by my bandanna anyway."

She walked into her room and opened up her closet as she slipped off her pajamas and tossed them in laundry basket thinking, "Alright now what exactly should I wear today?" She glanced at everything she had and thought, "Maybe the pink shirt with the black jeans... Bulla did say she thought it was a cute look and-" she then blushed as she realized where her mind was going and shook her head no yelling, "NOPE NOPE NOPE! NOT CROSSING THAT BRIDGE AGAIN! IT WAS EMBARRASSING ENOUGH THE FIRST TIME!" As she calmed down a bit she went back to the closet and continued thinking, "Hmm, well might as go with the classic," as she grabbed out her usual red shirt, gray pants, orange bandanna, and black shoes as she got dressed and said to herself, "I don't know why I always do that little decision dance when I wear this almost every day, ironically one of the few things I have a choice over and I choose to make it monotonous." As she finished up she walked over and closed the closet door and sighed saying, "Maybe one day I'll feel like a change in this area." She then turned from the closet door and saw that her little ovaloid friend had begun to stir on her desk before his arms and legs popped out as he stood up and said, "Good morning Pan."

"Morning Giru, I was just getting ready to head out," said Pan as she was once again glad that Bulma had fixed the glitch that had caused him to say his name at the end of every sentence.

"Training again?" asked Giru.

"Not today, just gonna hang out with Bulla and Grandpa Satan," responded Pan before smiling at her friend as she asked, "You want to come with?"

"No thank you, I'll just stay here and help Gohan on the latest book some more," said Giru. After the incident with the Shadow Dragons was all said and done; Giru had been keeping himself busy by telling Gohan about the various planets he visited in his mission to locate Saiyans and he, being the scholar he was, had written several scientific journals about each of them.

"Whelp, then I guess I'll see you later than buddy," said Pan as she waved goodbye and headed out the door. As she started walking down the street she thought to herself, "Maybe I should just fly there... nah. I may not feel the need to hide my strengths and powers like dad did with his whole 'Great Saiyaman' getup, but I don't want to show them off either. Besides, this gives me a chance to think and get myself physicked for today. After all we're going to the mall, which means I'm going to experience my problem again and Bulla's gonna somehow not notice." She then grunted to herself as she thought, "Maybe I should just say something to her already since she clearly can't see it on her own."

She then looked up and was surprised to see that her thoughts had helped time pass by much faster then she realized as right before her was the Capsule Corp building in all it's glory. As she turned the corner and began walking through the front lawn she was once again reminded that despite how huge the building was and all the research going on within it, it was still technically a families home. There was no chance of her forgetting that once she walked in though, as she stepped through the entryway and came to the average living room one would expect to see in a house and saw Bulla and her mother, Bulma, sitting on the couch as Bulma said with a pleading look, "Please Bulla, this would really help me out."

Bulla didn't seem to be swayed by any of this though as she closed her eyes and crossed her arms in annoyance and said, "I said no mom, why can't Trunks do it?"

"You know he's busy heading up the West City division, besides I need a teenagers perspective on this," replied Bulma as she gripped her hands together and repeated, "So can you PLLEEEAAASSSSEEE DO IT?"

As Pan took all this in she started to think that maybe she shouldn't be hearing whatever this was and made her presents known by nervously saying, "Um, I hope I'm not interrupting anything."

Upon hearing her voice Bulla looked up and smiled at her saying, "Pan! Not at all, I was just telling my mom, for the third time, that I'm not interested in the idea of moving to a whole new city just so she can make another billion zeni."

"HEY! THIS IDEA HAS THE POTENTIAL TO MAKE 2.3 BILLION ZENI, THANK YOU!" said Bulma annoyed at that statement.

"Whatever," said Bulla rolling her eyes. She then turned back to Pan and said, "Just let me grab my purse real quick and we'll head out."

Bulla then walked away as Bulma crossed her arms exasperated. Not knowing what to do, Pan sat next to her as she waited and said, "So what's all this about moving to another city?"

"Oh it's nothing, just," said Bulma before she paused and pulled out her laptop and brought up several maps as she said, "I'm working on expanding Capsule Corp into several small towns and, like usual, I sent some representatives to live in these towns for about a year or so before building it so we can get a feel for the town and where a new location would be the most successful."

"OK, with you so far," said Pan as she had grown up around Bulma and Trunks and was already pretty familiar with how Capsule Corp operated.

"Unfortunately though, we've run into a problem with our research in Canterlot City," said Bulma.

"What's that?" asked Pan.

Bulma raised her hands annoyed as she said, "Well SOMEHOW, roughly 80 percent of the towns population is teenagers so none of our usual representatives can learn all the ins and outs of the towns social structure to determine where a new building would best work, so I figured that since we have a teenager in the house Bulla might want to do it but unfortunately she doesn't, DESPITE EVERYTHING I'VE DONE FOR HER!"

"Oh," said Pan slightly unnerved by Bulma's anger, but intrigued by the conversation nonetheless.

Bulma groaned as she said, "I don't know what her problem is, I mean when I was her age I was traveling all over the place having to share a capsule house with Goku and deal with all kinds of insane stuff looking for the Dragon Balls. I would have killed to be set up with my own apartment, spending money, and enrollment at a high school that's advertised as being and I quote 'one of the friendliest place on Earth.'"'

"Hmm, well I do admit that does sound nice," said Pan with a slight smile as she unconsciously started picturing herself in such a situation.

At hearing this Bulma instantly realized that she had another potential candidate for this project sitting right next to her as she said, "Wait... would you be interested in doing it Pan?"

Pan was taken aback as she never expected Bulma to actually ask and was now fumbling for what to say as while yes she was just fantasizing about it, that didn't mean she would actually do it... would she? Thankfully she wasn't forced to dwell on this to long as Bulla walked in saying, "OK let's go."

"Great," said Pan as she actually flew off the couch and grabbed onto Bulla's hand pulling her quickly to the door to escape this situation, "for now," she mentally added on as thoughts about the offer still swirled in her head.

"Um, OK see you girls later, and Pan remember to think about my offer," said Bulma as she was made visibly nervous by Pan's eagerness to leave.

"Will do," said Pan as she and Bulla headed out the door.

Soon after Pan sat Bulla back on the ground and landed, resulting in an annoyed Bulla saying, "OK, what was that about?! It felt like you were gonna pull my arm out its socket!"

Pan blushed in embarrassing as she scratched the back of her head saying, "Yeah sorry about that. It's just your mom was telling me about her business opportunity-"

At hearing that Bulla interrupted her saying, "Let me guess, she offered this whole move thing to you too."

"Yeah," responded Pan as her embarrassment started to melt away at hearing that Bulla already knew the basics of her situation.

That calm wasn't matched though as Bulla tossed in the arms in air and had an agitated look on her face. "AHH! Seriously, I don't want to move because I don't want to leave my friends and so then she offers the move TOO my best friends," said Bulla. "So you're gonna say no right?"

"Well..." said Pan as she trailed off.

"Wait, are you thinking about saying yes?" said Bulla.

"Well, I am at least a little," said Pan before raising her hands defensively as she continued saying, "Don't get me wrong, I like hanging out with you and all. It's just, I don't know it's just sometimes I feel like even though I'm older and I've been through so much people still treat me like a little kid. It's like nothings changed since before I went into space to help find the Black Star Dragon Balls with Trunks and Grandpa Goku."

"Oh come on, your parents don't treat you like a kid," said Bulla trying to calm her friend down.

"I don't mean them, it's just like people in general. Haven't you ever noticed it before?" said Pan.

"Not really, but then again pretty much every time we go out I have to deal with some cheesy guy trying to flirt with me," said Bulla.

At this Pan looked at her as she said, "OK then, well pay close attention today and you'll see what I'm talking about."

"Fine," said Bulla as she chuckled at what had to be an exaggeration from her friend.

Soon they entered the mall and where looking around at clothes. Pan picked up a pink t shirt and turned to ask Bulla's opinion on it.

However she didn't get an answer as one of the previously mentioned cheesy guys walked up to Bulla and leaned on the table with a grin as he said, "Hey hot stuff, how you doin?"

Bulla, wanting to both get rid of this guy and prove her friend wrong, said "Alright, but kinda busy. Maybe my friend Pan will want to talk."

The guy then looked over at Pan and bluntly said, "Hey kid doing good, good," before turning back to Bulla and saying, "So how about we drop your little sister off at the play area and you and me grab a bite to eat?"

Pan turned red with anger as she started marching up behind this guy and Bulla, having seen Pan be proven right, simply nodded her approval as Pan tapped him on the shoulder and when he turned around she kicked him clear across the store where he landed right in the ladies changing room.

They where then greeted by a chorus of screams and accusations of "pervert" as the guy, now clutching his side in pain, ran away. Meanwhile an old man, whom the girls recognized as Master Roshi, slipped out of the side of the changing room mumbling to himself, "Curse these young fellas, thinking they can just barge in and get a peak and ruining it for us old pros."

As Roshi was slipping away Pan made a small ki orb on the tip of her finger and flicked it at him knocking him down, as both the girls laughed at this little punishment.

They both walked out of the store and spent some time just window shopping as Bulla said, "Way to handle that jerk back there, and give the old man some punishment too."

Pan chuckled before saying, "No problem, but you get what I was saying now right?"

"Yeah I do, and thinking back I now realize that it probably happened just about every time we go out," said Bulla.

"YUUUPPP!" said Pan, happy that her friend understood what she was going through.

"Well I mean, if you really want someone to treat you like you're older you could ask to train with my dad. I mean, I know he goes easy on me but from what Trunks told me, he's been treating him like an adult pretty much since he was born," said Bulla as she laughed a little thinking about that.

"I already tried that but every time I ask him to train me he's all like 'Of course not, I need to push myself to my absolute limit and beyond to make sure I'm ready for when that clown Kakarot comes back to Earth. I don't have time to waste on a brat who can't even turn Super Saiyan'," said Pan exasperated

Bulla chuckled as she said, "OK, first off that impression was spot on," resulting in Pan calming down a bit as she giggled in response. "Secondly, why is it that you can't go Super Saiyan anyway? I mean I'm not really the fighting type so I don't fully understand it but from what my dad says you pretty much just need to get really mad and no offense but you got quite the temper there."

"I wouldn't say my temper is that bad," said Pan resulting in a flat look from Bulla before she continued saying, "Anyway, I wondered the same thing and after talking to my dad about it I found out Saiyan genetics is a bit of a double edged sword when it comes to power."

"What do you mean?" asked Bulla in confusion.

Pan sighed before saying, "Plain and simple, for a Saiyan to turn Super Saiyan they need to push their mind AND their body to their absolute base limit, but with each generation a Saiyans potential gets stronger and... well I know neither of us ever saw my dad at his peak but you can get a pretty good idea of how high my base limit must be given how strong my Grandpa Goku is."

"Very true," said Bulla with a grin before she continued saying, "But that hasn't stopped you from trying."

"What do you mean?" said Pan with a slight blush.

"Come on, don't give me that false modesty. I may not be able to do much but after the whole Baby incident my dad insisted I at least learn how to sense ki and when you kicked that guy earlier I got just the slightest peak at your full power and it's leaps and bounds higher than what it was before," said Bulla.

"I guess so," said Pan as she smiled and scratched her head nervously. She was about to say more, but then they heard a ringing as her phone went off and she looked to see that it was her Grandpa Satan calling her. "OH, OK if you want a prime example of people treating my like a child just listen to how my grandpa talks to me," said Pan as she held up the phone so both of them could hear and hit the answer button saying, "Hey grandpa."

"Hey pumpkin-wumpkin, how's my little sweetie doing today?" said Mr. Satan.

"I'm good," said Pan, her voice laced with annoyance at all these cutesie nicknames, meanwhile Bulla was snickering and trying not to laugh.

"That's good... listen sugar plum I can't make it to lunch today. There's some punk out in the sticks who claims he can beat the world champ and won't rest until I fight him, or at least my top student Majuub does," said Mr. Satan.

"Oh, that's fine," said Pan.

"Now pumpkin, there's no reason to put on a brave face. I know you gotta be upset that your old grandpa can't take you out for ice cream like you wanted," said Mr. Satan in a bit of a puppy dog voice.

"It's really fine grandpa," said Pan blushing as Bulla fought even harder against giggling.

"Well... if you're sure," said Mr. Satan

"Yes, I'm sure grandpa!" said Pan exasperated.

"Well, alright then princess. Don't worry though, tomorrow I'll take you to the park and push you on the swings for as long as you want just like we used to," said Mr. Satan.

"You mean when I was three," Pan whispered to Bulla resulting in some of her giggles escaping before she leaned back into the phone and said, "Sounds great grandpa, bye."

"Bye, pumpkin, I'll see tomorrow. OH, and make sure to hold my hand in the park so we don't get separated-" said Mr. Satan as Pan hung up the phone and shied.

Meanwhile Bulla couldn't hold it in anymore as she doubled over laughing, ignoring her friends blush, before she said, "OK, if I hadn't seen the guy do the same kind of thing, that would have still convinced me you were right," as she continued laughing.

"Yeah," said Pan as a few chuckles escaped her before she grew quite again as she said, "Hey."

Instantly Bulla realized how serious her tone was and got herself together ready to listen as Pan continued saying, "If I do move to Canterlot City... we'll still be friends right?"

Pan stood silent waiting for a response, and preparing for the worst, only to be surprised as Bulla put her arm around her and said, "Of course we'll still be friends, I mean we can text email, video chat, and whatever else my mom's billion zeni computers can do."

"Really," said Pan as a surprised smile formed on her face.

"Duh, I mean if there's one thing we learned from that insane Time Space Tournament thing, other than the fact that in every reality my dad and your grandpa can't get along, it's that whether friends are separated by distance, time, or even LITERAL GODS they stick together," said Bulla.

"Yeah," said Pan as she leaned into Bulla and hugged her tight as she remembered that bizarre tournament and how, as much as she loved fighting, she had always been eager to stop by that version of Satan City and hang out with Bulla when she could.

Unfortunately that memory was interrupted as Bulla reminded her of another one saying, "Besides, I would never forget a friend who tried to ask me out."

Pan then pulled away from the hug blushing as she said, "Do you seriously have to bring that up now!? You know how embarrassing that was for me."

"Wasn't exactly a picnic for me either you know," said Bulla.

"Whenever a guy asked you out, you always turn him down. How was I supposed to know you were straight!?" said Pan as her blush once again deepened.

"Hey, just because I turn down a couple jerk slobs doesn't mean I'm into girls. I mean think about it, you've seen the kind of guys who usually hit on me, if they were girls and hit on you would you say yes?" said Bulla.

"Fair point," said Pan as her blush softened and she and Bulla shared a laugh at that mental picture.

As the laugh died down Bulla said, "Speaking of which, maybe you'll meet your Miss Right in Canterlot."

"Maybe," said Pan before reality suddenly dawned on her as she said, "If my parents let me go that is."

"Oh right," said Bulla as she awkwardly scratched her head saying, "We spent so much time talking about how grown up you are that I sort of forgot that you aren't actually old enough to do stuff like this without your parents permission."

"Yeah," said Pan a little disappointed.

"So you want to go I'm guessing," said Bulla.

"Well yeah, I've wanted a change of pace for awhile now and this seems like a good fit," said Pan.

At this Bulla put her hands on her hips and smiled saying, "If that's the case then you need to tell that to your parents and hope they listen."

"Really?" said Pan.

"Well yeah, I mean if you want this then you shouldn't just give up without even trying to talk to your parents about it," said Bulla.

"You know what, you're right" said Pan as she was filled by a new sense of confidence as she said, "In fact I'm going to go ask them right now!" Her aura then flared up as she took off towards her house.

"THAT'S THE SPIRIT PAN!" Bulla yelled after her before turning back to the street as she realized what just happened and said, "Well, guess I'm walking home by myself now."

As Pan flew into her yard and walked through the door she never let that determination waver and she entered the living room saying, "Mamma, papa, there is something I need to talk to you about."

"Oh we already know," said Gohan sternly as Pan noticed that both her parents where sitting on the couch and giving her very serious looks.

"Really," said Pan as her confidence was instantly shattered, before she continued saying, "How?"

"Bulma called us and told us all about this business opportunity she offered you," said Videl equally stern.

Pan panicked for a moment before remembering Bulla's words of confidence as she looked up saying, "Look, I know what you're gonna say-"

Pan was interrupted though as a smile came onto Gohan's face as he said, "So you know we're OK with it then."

"Well of course I do but," began Pan before she realized what her father just said as she continued saying, "Wait what?"

"Gotcha," said Videl laughing before she continued saying, "Sorry sweetie but once we heard about this and how you might want to do it, we couldn't resist at least going through the motions of the 'doubting parents act'."

"OK, sure," said Pan ignoring the fact that her parents had just pranked her, "But you're seriously OK with me going?"

"Well, it's not like I could say no to you just moving to another town for a year or two to go to school after I went to a whole other planet when I was less then half your age and fought a genocidal alien mad man and his personal army," said Gohan chuckling as even he realized how weird of a statement that was.

"Really!" said Pan in excitement at hearing an inarguable go ahead from her dad before turning to her mom and saying, "What about you mamma?"

"Well... I admit I was a little scared at first, but then I thought about how down you seem sometimes and I know you don't want to talk about it but I just got the feeling that this might be something that could help get you through it. Besides ever since you were a baby I wanted you to have all the options to do whatever you want, that's why I always made sure you got to spend equal time with both Chi-Chi who wanted you to be a scholar and Goku who wanted you to be a martial artist so you could learn about both and decide for yourself," said Videl.

"Your mother's right honey, this is your choice and no matter what you say we'll support it," said Gohan as both he and Videl warmly smiled up at her.

Pan had tears of joy flow down as a smile beamed on her face and she ran up hugging her parents saying, "Oh thank you mamma, thank you papa. I know I'm gonna miss both of you while I'm gone, but I just feel like this is the change I need in my life right now."

"We're gonna miss you too Pan, which I why I got a little surprise for you that will make it easier for you to visit," said Gohan.

Pan then got up surprised as she said, "Really, what?"

Gohan then stood up and opened up the window as he said, "Something that I started using around your age," before he stuck his head out the window and yelled, "NNNNIIIMMMMBBBUUUSSSS!"

Pan stood their confused as her father pulled his head back in the window before a yellow cloud suddenly flew into their living room and Gohan sat on top of it as he said, "This is the flying nimbus. My dad gave it to me when I was around your age, well technically he was dead so he just used King Kai to tell me I could have it, but still I'd like to give it to you now."

"Really!" said Pan. excited at this sudden gift as she ran up to the cloud and Gohan got off of it as she sat atop it herself.

"Now it can't fly as fast as your top speed, but it is nice to be able to fly without getting tired and having to stop and pop a Senzu Bean," said Gohan, happy to see this look of excitement on his daughters face.

That look of excitement melted away to one of embarrassment as she said, "I'm really honored dad, but I don't think I'll really need it."

"Wait, but why?" asked Gohan in confusion.

"Welllll, as you know I've been training in my free time and one of the things I've been trying to do is learn some of the techniques I've seen over the years that seem useful and welll," said Pan before reaching her right hand up to her face and placing two fingers on her forehead before she disappeared, only to quickly reappear wearing a pair of red rimmed sunglasses.

"Wait, but aren't those," said Gohan dumbfounded.

"Surprise," said Pan with a nervous smile.

Meanwhile on his private island several hundred miles away, a confused Master Roshi cried out, "PAN JUST DONE STOLE MY GLASSES!"

"Wow, um congrats Pan! My dad said Instant Transmission was such a hard technique to learn that I never even tried it," said Gohan filled with a renewed pride at his daughters accomplishment.

Meanwhile Videl started laughing as Pan and Gohan looked at her confused. "You OK mamma?" asked Pan confused.

"It's nothing, it's just here we all are doing a tearful goodbye and talking about how difficult visiting might be, meanwhile you know a technique that could let you visit everyday if you wanted," said Videl as she continued laughing.

Upon realizing just how right she was Pan and Gohan joined in on the laughter.

The next week went by relatively quickly for Pan as she went over the finer details with Bulma about the move, packed her things, including some souvenirs she had been collecting from her adventures over the years,, and finally informed everyone of the move so they would be able to come by when the day came, which it soon did.

As Pan stood outside holding her bags she looked out at her assembled friends and family and there various reactions. Chi-Chi was beaming with pride at her granddaughter for going to school so far away, though she wished it was a more prestigious one, Trunks and Goten both smiled at her and wished her luck, Mr. Satan was doubled over crying at how his "grandbaby" was growing up and was unexpectedly joined by Giru who was crying about the fact that his first friend was leaving. Part of her was tempted to change her mind at seeing that, but all thoughts of that ceased when she saw her mom, dad, and Bulla all giving her warm smiles that seemed to say, "We'll miss you, but you got this."

After taking all of this in for a moment she smiled at everyone as she waved saying, "Goodbye, everyone! I'll be sure to visit soon," and as they all waved and said goodbye back she raised her fingers to her forehead and teleported away.

As soon as she arrived she looked around a bit and, after making sure this was the place Bulma had bought for her, she pulled out her new house key and opened the door. As she looked around at the luxurious living room she with greeted a large flat screen TV, white leather couch, and a bunch of other stuff she had never seen before as she walked up the stairs and after seeing at least three rooms that appeared to be bed rooms she walked to the end of the hall into what appeared to be the biggest room and was greeted by another large TV, several expansive looking lamps and desks, and a king sized bed with what appeared to be the worlds fluffiest blanket on it.

Once she sat down on it, she confirmed that yes it did feel as soft and cozy as it looked before unconsciously laying down and curling up in it as she said to herself, "Yup, this is definitely the start of a great change."

New School, New Life

Pan sat up in her bed, too excited for the day to start as she watched her alarm clock tick and tick. She stared intently as the clock changed from 6:44 AM to 6:45 AM, and she turned away saying, "OK, just calm down Pan. You know what they say, a watched pot never boils and a watched clock doesn't go off." She then looked around her room, taking it all in once again, which didn't help much considering that one, she had been living there for a week at this point and knew everything about it, two she had long since unpacked her stuff so most of what was around her was various posters and knick knacks she had acquired over the years, and finally she had now been awake for roughly an hour in this excited haze and had tried, and failed, to burn it off by straightening up various things and making not just the room, but the entire place look pristine. She had thought about watching some TV or getting in a quick training session but decided against both as she currently lacked the focus and patience needed for most activities. "Think girl. What else can I do to try to try and kill time," she said before glancing down at her new silk pajamas and saying, "OH I KNOW! I can go get my shower and get dressed." She then hopped off the bed beaming a smile before a look of realization came to her face as she said, "Wait... but if I do that then as soon as my alarm goes off at seven all I'd have to do is eat breakfast then I'll be ready to head out the door... roughly a hour early since it only takes ten minutes to walk there and my first class isn't until eight." She then sat back down as she said, "Well at least these new pajamas are comfy," before rubbing her cheek against her shoulder to feel the softness of it. "I really gotta hand it to Bulma, she went all with this place from the big things like furniture to the little things like this." A smile soon beamed on her face though as she said to herself, "BUUUT, these thoughts should have made a decent amount of time go by..." she turned back to her clock with a hopeful grin, only to have it dashed away as she saw the clock turn from 6:45 AM to 6:46 AM before grunting and falling back in bed.

After a few moments of her twitching with her excitement and briefly sitting back up a few times when she thought of something to do, only to then fall back down when she realized a flaw in it. She eventually laid down virtually brain dead with boredom before, finally, the clock hit 7:00 and she slammed the button before it had a chance to ring and, unfortunately for it, it will never ring again because in her excitement she didn't bother to hold back too much and ended up completely shattering the alarm clock... and cracking the table that was underneath it slightly. "Whoops ha ha... well it's a good thing Bulma's giving me such a hefty allowance. I mean, the table should be fine for a while but I definitely need a new clock." She then began thinking about the nearby stores and how she could pick one up on the way home from school, but that thought quickly melted away as the excitement of her first day at a new school resurfaced and she jumped out of bed running towards her bathroom to start getting ready.

As she ran she undid the top few buttons on her pajama top and once she reached the door she slammed it open, careful not to destroy anything this time, tossed her top and bottom onto the floor, started the water, and hopped right in. "AAHHHH!" Only to scream and hop back out as she hadn't given the water any time to heat up. She stood there shaking from the cold as she told herself, "OK, THAT SUCKED!" She then looked at the handy dandy shower thermometer, which she should have done in the first place, and saw it steadily ticking up. As she waited her excitement and impatience started to creep back up as she said to herself, "Alright, what can I do to pass the time?" She looked around the bathroom trying to figure is out before noticing her pajamas crumpled on the floor as she said, "Well I guess I could fold up my PJs and put them back on my bed for tonight, but if I do that I won't have anything to wear back to my room... of course I technically don't NEED to wear anything given that I live alone now. The question is though which will kill more time, putting them away now or putting them back on only to have to remove them and put on my street clothes." She thought on this for a few seconds only to catch a glimpse of the still ticking thermometer as her inpatients over took her and she said , "OK DEFINITELY GOING WITH THE OPTION THAT KILLS TIME NOW!" as she scooped up the clothes and headed back to her room.

Thankfully by the time she folded up the pajamas and got back to the bathroom the water was just about up to temp so she quickly brushed her teeth, and spit the toothpaste out, not bothering to lean to far into the sink since she was bout to clean herself anyway and honestly didn't care at the moment. She then was able to quickly jump in, get cleaned up, and run back to her room where she swung the closet open, grabbed her usual outfit and slipped into it in no time at all. As she tied the bandanna she started heading to the kitchen to make breakfast. While rocketing down the stares she briefly slowed as she thought, "Huh, kinda ironic that I didn't bother to do the 'what should I wear today' dance when pretty much everything else in my life has changed.... eh maybe another time."

Her pace quickened once again as she reached the kitchen and opened the fridge peering inside. After a little searching she spied the perfect thing for this situation as she grabbed it saying, "Microwavable bacon and eggs. Fast enough to where I won't get impatient, but slow enough to where I won't be heading out the door in like two seconds." She opened the box and popped one into the microwave... only to pause as she looked at it and thought, "No way that's gonna be enough to fill me up," before she grabbed another two of these meals and stuffed them in as well, tripling the time.

She had gotten herself a plate and silverware, which she had neglected to clean the night before so she was able to kill time by rinsing some off, and soon the microwave went off and and she grabbed her food, pouring it on the plate and started eating. "Mmmhh-eeekkkkk!" To which was greeted to a strange combination of burned on the outside and cold on the inside, letting her know that tripling the time wasn't the right choice. As she glanced down at all the food she made she thought for a moment before shrugging and saying, "Meh, it could be worse," before she started chowing it down with her usual zeal.

After that was over she placed her plate and silverware back in the sink, grabbed her keys, phone, wallet, and backpack. and headed out the door. As she was walking she thought to herself "Alright, I got everything taken care of." She then listed everything on her fingers, "Teeth brushed, shower taken, food eaten, supplies grabbed, all checked and ready to go. And the time is," she thought as she reached and pulled out her phone, "seven twenty." She then got agitated as she started saying out loud, not caring who heard, "EH! Seriously after all the work, I'm still gonna be that early!" After a moment or rage she she took a deep brief and said, "Calm down girl, no good came from stressing out like that. Just... think of something to do." She then looked around and noticed a cheap little electronics store. "I guess I can my new alarm clock ON THE WAY to school," she said before turning towards the building.

At exactly 7:32 AM Pan spotted Canterlot High, and for the first time in her life, was mad that a store DIDN'T have a long line. As she approached the building though she saw other students entering and chatting and her excitement returned as she thought to herself, "Maybe that isn't so bad, I mean I can put my stuff in my locker and maybe make some new friends." Her excited grin returned as she entered the building and began walking through the hall.

After looking around and taking a moment to soak everything in she pulled out the little card that came with her schedule and contained her locker number and combination as she thought, "Alright, locker number three fifty." she then glanced at the lockers around her. "Let's see, three forty six, three forty eight, and HERE WE GO! Locker three fifty, now just to open it-"

Before she could finish that thought though she heard a feminine voice say, "LOOK OUT AHEAD!" Not everyone bothering to turn and look, since she could sense the person energy, Pan simple stepped back and as the girl passed she placed her hand on her shoulder to bring her to a stop.

Now that she could get a good look at her she saw the girl had blue skin, a white and violet skirt, a blue jacket on top of a white shirt, and finally, and most bizarrely rainbow colored hair. Pan thought about commenting on it, before remembering some of her friends of family members hair styles and shrugging it off.

The girl, stunned by her sudden lose of momentum, stood there for a moment in shock before she turned to Pan and with a beaming smile said, "That was SO AWESOME! How the heck did you stop me so fast, and without even really looking at me?"

Not wanting to brag on the first day, she just nervously smiled and said, "Just lucky I guess."

"Ah, that makes sense. Especially considering that I've been training for years and even I can't do anything like that," said the girl before she looked at her own card in her hand. "Anyway, looks like we're locker neighbors. I'm Rainbow Dash by the way, you can call me Rainbow or Dash, whichever you prefer," she said as she reached her hand out to Pan with a welcoming smile.

Pan returned the smile and shook her hand saying, "Nice to meet you Dash, I'm Son Pan but you can just call me Pan."

Rainbow Dash thought for a moment before saying, "Son Pan huh, I feel like I heard that name before.... you didn't happen to go to Cloudsdale Middle School did you?"

"Ummm, no. I just moved here all the way from East City," said Pan.

At hearing this any desire to remember where she had heard Pan's from disappeared as Dash said, "Wait, you moved from THAT far away!?"

"Um... yeah," said Pan a little confused, "So what?"

"Nothing it's just.... not many people move TO this sleepy little town from a big city. It's usually the other way around," said Rainbow Dash.

Not wanting to get into the details about how she was technically getting paid to go to school here and make friends, Pan decided to only tell her part of the truth as she smiled nervously saying, "Yeah well, I'd been looking for a change of pace lately and just something about this place seemed to fit."

"Oh... that's cool," said Dash who clearly wanted more detail but seemed to be satisfied for now. "Well, as someone who moved here not too long and still remembers what it was like, why don't I show you around."

"Sounds great!" said Pan with an eager smile on her face

Rainbow Dash nodded saying, "Cool," before leading Pan along on her little tour, pointing out the areas of the school she deemed important. "OK so over there's the gym, where your most likely to find me, and there's the library, not usually my scene but I do always make sure to show up when the new Daring Do books come in." What Dash didn't seem to notice though was that as she moved through the hall everyone else seemed to be moving in the opposite direction with looks of either concern or outright fear on their faces. Pan didn't want to upset her potential new friend though, so she decided to let Dash continue the tour and just kept her eyes peeled. "OH and up ahead is my friend Flutter-"

Dash's tour was swiftly interrupted though as she and and Pan looked to see an orange girl with fiery red and yellow hair, an orange skirt, a leather jacket, and matching leather boots, pushing another girl against the lockers as she said, "So, I hear you're the one who screwed me out of my extra credit charity assignment."

The other girl, who was yellow with pink hair and a simply white tang top and green skirt combo, nervously said, "Um, I didn't mean to do anything to you. Principal Celestia just called the animal shelter to know what time you were volunteering and-"

"And you told her I wasn't!" said the fiery girl as she slammed her fist on the lockers.

The pink haired girl was now visible trembling as she said, "Well yes, but that's only because I thought it was a mistake... I didn't know you were using my shelter as a cover."

"WELL I WAS! But now, thanks to you, I'm not getting the credit I worked so hard for."

"Um, I'm not sure if lieing is really working hard," said the pink haired girl at nearly a whisper.

The fiery girl slammed another first against the locker as she said, "WHAT DID YOU SAY!?"

"NOTHING SUNSET! I'M SORRY!"

"Damn right nothing," said the fiery girl, apparently named Sunset. "Now next time someone you know asks about me, you just go along with it. YOU GOT THAT FLUTTER-CRY!"

The pink haired girl now had tears flowing down here face, hence the insult, as she nodded fearfully and choked out, "Yes mam."

"Good," said Sunset as she backed off a bit, only to have a sadistic smile come to her face as she said, "Then again, when dealing with a ditz like you, it couldn't hurt to beat the lesson into you."

She then clenched her fist and prepared to strike the girl, and as Pan prepared to do something Dash beat her to it as she said, "WHY DON'T YOU PICK ON SOMEONE ELSE SUN-SHIT!"

Sunset turned to Rainbow, before her smile returned to her as she walked forward saying, "Well well if it isn't Rain-Bitch Dash here to save her girlfriend again."

"She's not my girlfriend, and you know it..." Dash then shied before continuing saying, "after all you're the one who made up that rumor," said Rainbow as she approached Sunset.

"True, but it's not exactly gonna remain credible if I don't at least pretend it's true around others, speaking of which," she said before turning to Pan as she said, "I see you're showing around a new girl, and here I thought making friends with strays with Fluttershy's thing."

Pan became slightly agitated as she thought to herself, "Just who the heck does this girl think she is!?"

"Leave her out of this, it's between you and me right now," said Rainbow.

"Oh I would love to give you another beating," said Sunset with sarcastic sympathy, before she pressed her boots against the ground to leap towards Pan with an outstretched fist as she said, "But I can't pass up the opportunity to teach someone the pecking order around here"

Now, to Dash it may have looked like Sunset was rocketing towards Pan, but to her it might as well have been in slow mo as she thought to herself, "SERIOUSLY WHO DOES THIS GIRL THINK SHE IS!" Pan looked closer at her face contorted with a sadistic glee as she continued, "She's actually kind of cute... to bad she's such a bitch. Anyway... I could just step to side and let her fall flat on her face buuuut, I think she needs to be taken down a peg or two and as grandpa would say, 'what better way then with a little Satan flair'."

Pan quickly jumped to the side of Sunset and just as her smile faded, Pan had her own form as she yelled "DYNAMITE KICK," and knocked Sunset against the lockers.

Sunset fell to the floor, but quickly got back up clutching her shoulder in pain and preparing herself to continue as she said, "You little shi-"

Before she could finish though Dash spoke up saying, "OH MY GOSH THAT MOVE!" She then turned to Pan with a look of pure ecstasy on her face as she said, "Now I know where I know you from, you're Son Pan, the granddaughter of the world champ Mr. Satan!"

"Um, yeah," said Pan as scratched her head embarrassed, she then turned her attention back to Sunset as her tone changed to one of confidence. "I mean- yeah, so if you know what's good for you, you better get out of here and leave us alone!"

Sunset seamed to get angrier though as she said, "So you're related to that fraud ay, well then Son Pan I-" Sunset stopped mid sentence though as her expression turned to one of deep thought. "Wait Son Pan.... as in Son Goku?"

Pan was a little unnerved as she said, "How do you know about my other grandpa?"

She never got an answer as they heard a commanding voice say, "What is going on here girls?!"

They all looked over to see a woman with light pink skin, long multicolored hair, a yellow jacket, and purple pants. Instantly Pan recognized her as being Principal Celestia from the schools website, but that info didn't do much to comfort her as she stared at them all with a stern look that seemed to say, "Explain now or you're all in trouble."

Pan thought to herself, "Am I seriously going to get in trouble on my first day for hitting a girl who deserved it," as she slightly groaned. She then looked back at Dash and Fluttershy, as apparently that was the pink haired girls name, as she thought, "Please tell me one of you has an excuse."

As the seconds started to tick by and Pan prepared herself to face the music the last person she expected to come to her aid moved to the front, still clutching her shoulder, as she said, "Oh it's nothing Principal Celestia. I was just talking to the new girl when I accidentally tripped and fell against the lockers."

Instantly Celestia's look turned from one of anger to concern as she said, "Oh my, are you alright."

"Not really, if you don't mind could you take me the nurses office," said Susnet as she had a pleading look come to her face.

"Of course," said Celestia before turning to the others as she said, "Sorry Ms. Son, I was hoping to greet you and ask if you needed help with anything. Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, can I trust you girls to help her while I escort Sunset to the nurse."

"Um," said Fluttershy nervous.

"You got it Principal C," said Rainbow with a huge smile and thumbs up.

Celestia, possible sensing that something was up, paused for a moment before grabbing Sunset's uninjured hand and leading her down the hall.

As soon as they were out of ear shot Dash turned back to Pan and said excitedly, "THAT WAS SERIOUSLY AWESOME! The way you took out Sunset like that was just EEEEHHHHH SO COOL!"

As Rainbow jumped up and down giddily Fluttershy looked deep in thought, resulting in Rainbow bumping her shoulder and giving her the typical mother "what do we say?" look as Fluttershy responding with, "Oh sorry, thanks for saving me back there, it's just I'm trying to figure why Sunset lied to Celestia for you"

At hearing this Rainbow came back to Earth as she said, "Hmm, that is weird. Usually in a situation like this she would play the victim to try and get you in trouble, and it probable would have worked given how she has Celestia wrapped around her little finger."

Pan took in all this new information as she too began wondering what exactly was going in that girls head to make her have, this apparently out of character, touch of mercy.

Meanwhile as Sunset and Celestia marched down the hall Sunset allowed her false look of pain to slip away to a slight smirk as she gripped her arm and thought to herself, "It's a good thing I studied up on human anatomy to figure out how the hell this ugly fleshy body works. All I have to do is claim I have pain here and here and they'll send me home with a sprain." She then looked back as she continued thinking, "Oh sweet little Pan, I can't let anything happen to you... yet, after all you're going to be my key for getting the power I deserve and ruling this pathetic little world."

Pan, Rainbow Dash, and Flutteshy watched as Celestia and Sunset turned the corner towards the nurses office, before Dash turned back to Pan and said, "Well, whatever Sunset's up to there's no use worrying about it now."

"I guess," said Pan as she decided to think about all this later. "So I'm guessing this Sunset girl does stuff like this often?"

"More or less, I heard that a while before I moved here she wasn't too bad. Fluttershy knows more about that though," said Dash as she turned and noticed the girl was now hiding behind her. "What's with the sudden fear Shy, Sunset left?"

"I know it's just... I never thought I'd see someone take her down so easy," said Fluttershy as she tentatively stepped forward.

At seeing this Pan stepped forward too and, as she noticed Fluttershy retreat slightly, said "No need to be scared, after all I saved you."

"Yes and I'm grateful but," said Fluttershy as her voice died down to an inaudible pitch and she attempted get behind Dash again.

"No need to feel bad, Shy's always like this around new people," said Dash before grabbing Fluttershy and moving her closer to Pan, "Come on Shy, like she said she saved you," Dash then looked in her eyes and smiled as she said, "and if that was some king of trick, remember you're tougher then you think and I'm here, so between the two us no one will stand a chance."

Pan slightly blushed as she said, "Not sure how I feel about that, but I promise this isn't a trick." She then reached her hand out saying, "We never actually introduced ourselves to each other. My name's Son Pan and it's nice to meet you."

Fluttershy nervously hid behind her hair but stepped forward as she too reached out her hand and said, "Um hi, my name is Fluttershy... but you already knew that. It's um... nice to meet you too Son Pan."

They then shook each others hands as Pan smiled and said, "You can just call me Pan, after all that's what all my friends call me."

"Fri-friends?" said Fluttershy as she brushed the hair to the side.

Pan smiled and nodded as she knew that one, despite not knowing them for very long Dash and Fluttershy where going to be her good friend and two, she knew that declaring this now would help her calm down a bit.

It seemed to work as Fluttershy smiled and blushed saying, "Th-thank you, and you're welcome to just call me Shy... if you want to that is."

"Of course," said Pan as she withdrew her hand. She then took on a serious expression as she said, "So what can you tell me about Sunset's past?"

Before Fluttershy could respond though a bell rang and Rainbow Dash said, "OH dang, that's the five minute warning bell. Quick Pan, what class do you have first?"

Pan, slightly peeved at the change in topic, but also not wanting to be late on the first day, reached into her pocket and pulled out her schedule saying, "Um.... Astronomy with Ms. Cheerilee."

"Oh, dear," said Fluttershy as Rainbow Dash looked nervous.

"What?" asked Pan in confusion.

"OK, there's good news and bad news... well more like two good news's and two bad news's," said Dash.

"OOOOKKKK?" said Pan in even greater confusion. "I guess give me the news that goes together."

"Well the first good news is that we have that class now too so we can take you right there, the first bad news is that this is like the most frustrating class in the school," said Dash.

Pan became somewhat relieved as she said, "OH, well I mean that doesn't sound too bad, it's not like I expected super easy classes."

"OK, firstly I think you're misunderstanding what I mean by frustrating class and secondly I don't know why I'm taking the time to say all this because the class room is all the way on the other side of the school, but the good news if we hurry we can still make it... and I'm gonna stop talking now because it's just wasting more time, so let's go," said Dash before taking off down the hall.

Pan looked over at Fluttershy who smiled and said, "Don't worry it's not that far... but we should still sprint."

Fluttershy then started going down the hall with Pan following behind her.

As they jogged Pan turned to Fluttershy and said, "So what where you gonna say about Sunset's past?"

"Oh, I think we should wait to talk about it after class. Dash may have exaggerated how far away it was, but we should still hurry," said Fluttershy apologetically as they continued.

Pan grumbled as she and Fluttershy soon entered the class and saw Rainbow getting off the ground and in her chair, as she apparently fell over in her haste, and they took seats on either side of her.

Pan looked around only to see no teacher present and became slightly impatient as she whispered to Dash, "So how long does this class usually take."

Dash groaned as she said, "That's the problem with this class it-"

Rainbow Dash was cut off though as a woman wearing a green flower pattern skirt, a brown vest, and white shirt walked in saying, "Good morning class, as always I hope we are in for a short day but that's entirely up to all of you."

She, who Pan guessed was Ms. Cheerilee, took her seat as she looked out at the class and noticed her saying, "Oh you most be the new student, Son Pan right?"

"Um, yeah but you can just call me Pan."

"Well Pan let me explain how this class works because, I do things a little differently then most teachers. Believe it or not I remember what it's like to be your age and the worst thing about high school for me was having to hear a teacher drone on and on about stuff we already knew. So what I do is ask you all questions about today's lesson before we do it and if just one of you gets the question right I won't go over it since well... you already know it, or at least one of you does and the others can take notes based on what they said."

Pan then smiled as she said, "Does that mean if we get all the question right we can just go."

This resulted in a groan from the others as Ms. Cheerilee's smile briefly faltered and she said, "Yes, but unfortunately no one has been able to do that yet and as you can tell some of the students are getting frustrated at that."

Dash then mumbled to yourself, "You'd be frustrated too if someone told you might get to leave early, only to keep you tell the scheduled time."

Cheerilee then rolled her eyes, as Dash wasn't as quite as she thought, before her smile returned and she said, "Now then class today's lesson is on gravity, specifically learning the gravity of all the planets in our solar system."

The class then proceeded to groan as even the smartest among them had neglected to memorize ALL the planets gravitates.

"Alright let's start with the easy one, what is Earth's gravity?"

Pan looked around at the other students and saw their reactions varied from continued groans, from those who didn't know, to looks of thought as some did know but didn't fully remember. After confirming that no one else would answer Pan raised her hand saying, "9.807 meters per second per second."

"Very good Pan," said Cheerilee with a smile before writing it on the board, so those who didn't know could take notes. "Now then, a little tougher, what is the gravity of Mercury."

"3.7 meters per second per second," said Pan not even giving the others time to answer this time.

Ms. Cheerilee wrote on the board and said, "Well it looks like we have someone here who might give you all the early day today."

The other members of the class, Rainbow especially, now sat up excited to see this keep going as Cheerilee looked write at Pan and simply said, "Venus."

"8.87," responded Pan with a confident smile.

"Mars."

"3.1711."

"Jupiter."

"24.79."

"Saturn."

"10.44."

"Uranus."

Pan noticed a slight giggle come from Dash at this one, but pressed on anyway saying, "8.87."

"Neptune."

"11.15."

"Very good Pan, and since Pluto is no longer a planet that should be it," said Cheerilee as the other members of the class began to cheer. They were quickly cut sort though as she said, "However, as many of you remember the wandering planet Tuffle settled into our solar system about two years ago."

The other students began to groan as Ms. Cheerilee went on saying, "It was the planet that, due to it's Earth like atmosphere, Capsule Corp used to briefly evacuate Earth when those solar flairs hit."

"Um Ms. Cheerilee, didn't those flares completely destroy the Earth?" said a girl with grey skin, blonde hair, a blue shirt with a green skirt, and two yellow eyes that weirdly looked in different directions.

Ms. Cheerilee looked slightly annoyed before her, clearly less then genuine judging by all the times it faltered, smile returned as she said, "No Derpy," she began drawing a diagram on the chalk board. "You see the flares charged the atmosphere with negative ions that made it appear to disappear until they dissipated."

Cheerilee went on while Pan simply rolled her eyes and thought, "I still can't believe they buy all these lies that Bulma and Grandpa Satan come up with."

Both the thought and speech where interrupted by a now super confident Dash saying, "The gravity of Tuffle is the same as Earth, 9.807 meters per second per second."

She then leaned back in her chair with a cocky smile as she waited for the praise to come pouring in, only to have that confidence shattered as Ms. Cheerilee said, "Incorrect."

Rainbow Dash stood up with a start and said, "WHAT! But we all stood on Planet Tuffle and lived there for a bit during the evacuation and it didn't feel any different."

"Very true Rainbow Dash, Planet Tuffle's gravity was like Earth's but it isn't now. As you all know the president of the Capsule Corporation and leader of the evacuation, Bulma Briefs, constructed a gravity machine on Tuffle to change it to Earth's but what some of you might not know is that about a year ago the machine finally stopped transmitting meaning that it is inactive and Tuffle has reverted to it's natural gravity which is..." said Ms. Cheerilee as she paused and looked to Pan for the answer.

Pan internally shied as she thought, "Well, at least that lie is half true, Bulma did build a gravity machine, albeit it was under that awful Babies orders." Finally she spoke up saying, "It's ten times Earth's gravity, 98.07 meters per second per second."

The entire class then looked up at Cheerilee expecting an answer as she sat for a moment or two before what appeared to be a genuine smile graced her face as she said, "Correct," and then scribbled a quick explanation as to why Planet Tuffle's gravity was so high. The students didn't hear her though as they quickly copied what she wrote and headed out the door after only a few minutes of class. Ms. Cheerilee then checked her make up and quietly said, "Finally a chance to talk to that sexy new substitute," she then put away her compact and headed out the door sing songedly saying, "Here I come Mr. Sombra."

All that remained in the room now was Pan, who was putting her stuff away in no real hurry, Dash who was staring at her dumbfounded, and Fluttershy who was simply smiling at her new friend as she said, "Wow, good job."

"Thanks," said Pan with a matched smile.

Dash then snapped out of her stuper as she said, "Seriously, brains and brawn. Looks you can give Sunset a run for her money in everything around here."

Pan then had a slight blush cross her face for brief moment as she had only every heard the phrase "brains and brawn" used in cheesy pick up lines in movies, or from the guys who hit on Bulla, but upon hearing Sunset mentioned again she snapped out of it as she said, "Speaking of Sunset, you said you were going to tell me more about her."

"Oh right," said Dash. "Well like I said, she's been that bitch you saw for as long as I'd known her, but apparently Fluttershy somewhat different story."

Pan then looked at Shy who had her face down in embarrassment as she said, "Well I wouldn't say a different story. I mean I don't know why she's a.... a b word or anything."

Pan then reached out and lifted her chin up and with a look of clear sincerity said, "It's fine if you don't know everything, I'm sure no one other then Sunset does, but whatever you can tell me would be greatly appreciated." She then thought to herself, "After dealing with that Shadow Dragon absorbing me, I don't intend to go into a fight, if I have too, without knowing everything about my opponent I can."

"Well OK," said Fluttershy as she perked back up a bit. "Well I first met Sunset in middle school and she wasn't bad at all. I mean she always had her face buried in a book and never seemed to want to talk to anyone, but she wan't mean. But that all changed the summer before eight grade."

"What happened?" asked Pan as she hung on her seat, eager to hear more.

"Well I don't know the exact details but apparently she had some sort of falling out with Celestia-"

"Wait, how could she have a falling out with her if she wan't even in high school yet?" asked Pan in confusion.

"Oh, I guess I forgot to mention that Celestia is Sunset's mom," said Fluttershy.

"WHAT!?" said Pan in surprise.

"Well, adopted mother technically. Apparently when she was only eight Celestia, who was a close family friend, was babysitting her when her parents died in a car accident and since she didn't have any other family Celestia took it upon on herself to raise her," said Fluttershy.

Pan then had a sullen look cross her face as Dash simply said, "Whenever I hear that I almost feel bad for her... almost."

Not knowing what to say, as she wanted to feel bad for Sunset upon hearing this but also agreed with Dash that it was no excuse for her acting like this, she looked at Fluttershy to continue.

"Anyway, Sunset and Celestia had some big argument and Sunset ran away from home. For a whole week Ceelstia was a wreck looking all over town for her and just when she started to thank that maybe Sunset had skipped town and she was planning to take a trip to neighboring Trottingham to look there, Sunset just suddenly... showed up right here in front of Canterlot High. Celestia was so overjoyed to have her back that she started doing everything she said, even letting her move out and into a cheap Capsule House on the edge of town."

"And she was also apparently too relieved to notice Sunset's change in personality," added Dash flatly.

"So she was just mean when she came back?" asked Pan.

"Actually when eight grade first started she seemed nicer then I'd ever seen her. She was friendly to everyone, joined the student council and the martial arts club, even taking them to the championships, and she even chaired a fundraiser to renovate the gym," said Fluttershy.

"Really?" said Pan in confusion, "So then what happened next."

"What happened is she showed her true colors," said Dash.

"Unfortunately Dash is right, about half way through the year she made it apparent that all of her niceness was just an act as she used her newfound influence over the school to bend everyone to her will. She would cut the budget of clubs she didn't like, somehow find out kids secrets to blackmail them, and whatever else she could to ruin the lives of those who stood against her," said Fluttershy solemnly.

"By the time I showed up she had pretty much everyone under her boot. You can't tell Celestia because she's so scared of losing her 'darling little daughter' that she refuses to accept it even when the evidence is right in front of her, and as much as it pains me to admit it she's too tough for even me to stand up to her physically," said Dash angrily.

Fluttershy quietly said, "Maybe if you and Appleja-" but a quick glare from Rainbow made her stop.

Pan simply though, "Hmm, gonna have to pursue that later... maybe if I can get Fluttershy alone I'll ask about it." She then said, "Thank you Shy, I think this information could help all of us down the line," as she thought about everything that was said.

Rainbow Dash simply chuckled as she said, "Not sure how it could, I mean now that we got the granddaughter of the champ here to kick her ass, I think her reign of terror's coming to an end."

Pan wanted to explain how they couldn't just go ahead and attack Sunset out of the blue without learning everything first, as between Tien, Piccolo, Vegeta, and Nova Shenron she'd either heard or seen plenty of worse people who had turned everything around and wanted to make sure that there wasn't any deeper reason behind Sunset's behavior before she did anything, but when she looked over at Fluttershy's face she seemed to have a smile that said, "I know she's getting carried away, but let her have this."

So Pan simply smiled and said, "Yeah," and returned Fluttershy's smile, but Rainbow didn't seem to notice that though as she pumped her fist in the air with a huge grin.

Fluttershy then shook her shoulder to snap her out of it as she said, "Maybe we should start heading to our next classes."

"Oh yeah," said Dash as she turned to Pan and said, "Shy has Economics with Mr. Rich and I have home ec. with Mrs. Cakes, how about you?"

Pan fished her schedule back out of her pocket before saying, "I have... Gym with Coach Spitfire."

"Wow, I would say you're in for a tough workout but I'm sure even Spity's drills aren't as intense as the champs training, anyway you remember where the gym is?" said Dash.

"Yup, just down the hall from lockers, two doors down from the library," said Pan.

"Cool, in that case we'll catch you later," said Dash as she headed out the door.

Fluttershy then gave a wave and a smile before she turned to leave as well before Pan spoke up saying, "Shy wait."

Fluttershy turned back around with an eager smile ready to help her new friend, but that smile quickly faded as Pan continued saying, "What where saying about some kind of Apple?"

Instantly Fluttershy ran up to Pan and put her hand in front of her mouth as she looked back to the door before whispering, "Not here, Dash might still be close.... if you really want to know we can talk about it in front of the school at the end of the day."

Not wanting to let this conversation run too long, as apparently this was a VERY sensitive topic for Dash, Pan simply nodded as Shy went out the door more somber then before as if something heavy was now weighing on her mind.

As Pan sat in the room alone she finished packing her things and said to herself, "I feel a little bad asking Shy to tell me this stuff behind Dash's back but I need to learn all I can if I'm going to get the whole story," she then thought to herself before saying, "Just what the heck could have happened to Sunset during that week to turn into her a whole other person like that?"

Meanwhile on the outskirts of Canterlot

As Sunset removed the key from her bag and entered her home she flicked on the lights and glanced at her sparingly decorated living room, "Still not fitting to my regal stature, but if I'm right about this then everything will change soon."

She thought about heading directly to her bedroom to add these new details to her long thought out plan, but decided to do what she always did when she got home as she sat at her computer and entered the web address in.

She was soon greeted by the latest article from Trottingham News Day which featured a girl who looked just like her, albeit with a buzz cut and a flaming mask tattooed around the eyes, holding a baseball bat with a look a pure glee on her face directly under a headline that said, "GANG BOSS 'SUN STREAKER' CONTINUES TO TERRORIZE CITY."

As Sunset read through the article she smiled and said, "Oh my little human counterpart, your tenaciousness is good but your goals are too small. Part of me still wishes I had followed you so I could have shown you what ruling is really like, but I just couldn't pass up a version of Celestia who ate any bullshit I said up like it was caviar." She then got up and continued saying, "Course this ditzy bitch is a far cry from my Celestia, still can't believe she hasn't seen one of these articles and put two and two together yet... then again maybe she has and just hasn't noticed, these disgusting apes all look the same anyway."

Finally she reached her room and looked at the board she spent years working on as she said, "These men though.... they, or at least their power, is divine," she then put a new sticky note onto the board and after connecting it to others and drawing several circles around it said, "and soon that power will be in my hooves."

Friendships Past

As the final bell for the day rang Pan stood near the schools entrance watching for Fluttershy as she thought to herself, "Should I really be doing this? I mean, Fluttershy did seem kinda reluctant to tell me all this stuff and I wouldn't want to upset a new friend.... plus thinking back my justification of wanting to know everything about Sunset's potential threat doesn't really hold up because well... let's face it she's just a school bully. It's not like she's threatening to blow up the planet or anything. There's no harm in letting her roam free for a bit while I wait to find out the facts."

Just as Pan was grabbing her backpack and considering leaving Fluttershy seemed to simply appear next to her as Pan yelped in surprise and thought to herself, "I didn't even sense her energy."

"OH, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to scare you, usually I try and make at least some noise when I walk so I don't scare people, but not too much because that could scare them as well, but I was so nervous about Dash finding out about this and I guess I forgot," said Fluttershy as she became visibly sweaty and nervously clutching some kind of book.

"Um, about that Fluttersy.... you know you don't have to tell me anything you don't want too," said Pan.

Fluttershy had a brief moment of relief as she thought about turning back and dropping all this, but that look quickly disappeared as she said, "No... I know Dash is going to try and push you to fight Sunset before your ready, and if you really are gonna put an end to her rule of the school.... you at least need to understand why Dash takes it so personally."

Fluttershy then sat on the ground leaning against the wall and gestured for Pan to join her, once she did Fluttershy opened the book and showed a picture with the caption "BFFF: BEST FRESHMAN FRIENDS FOREVER".

Pan looked at the photo as she said, "Well I can tell that's you and Dash on the left... and I'm guessing the girl above you with the apple on her hat is who we're here to talk about."

Fluttershy simply looked at the picture with a forlorn smile on her face as she missed those times when they could all hang out together. She then shied and turned to Pan as she said, "Yes, that's Applejack and she was the first new friend Dash ever made here, but that all changed when-"

Suddenly a voice that neither of them expected to here, and Fluttershy currently dreaded hearing, interrupted saying, "When she betrayed me."

"OH, DASH!" said Fluttershy as her nervousness seemed to break way to actual fear. "I'm so sorry I was telling her about this, I just thought-"

At seeing her distress Pan jumped to defend her saying, "It's not her fault Dash, I'm the one who wanted to know and-"

Dash raised her hand to interrupt them both before saying, "Look I get it OK there's no need to apologize."

"Really," said Fluttershy with a relieved look.

"Yeah, I figured you two were going to talk about this after I cut you off earlier and... while I did come here at first to stop you, I overheard what you were saying and... you were right. If I'm gonna ask Pan to fight with me then I should at least let her know what I want her to fight for," said Rainbow Dash.

She then turned to Pan and said, "Like Shy said, Applejack was my first friend here. I don't know if you'd noticed since between the encounter with Sunset and seeing all the stuff you can do, I wasn't quite myself, but I'm usually pretty cocky and that can intimidate people. So for awhile it was just me and Shy, but then I met Applejack who was actually able to give me a challenge and put me in my place when I needed it." Dash had her own forlorn look as she said, "Before I knew it she had helped me make the other friends you see that in picture," that look then turned to one of anger as she clenched her fist and said, "But like everything else good around here, Sunset had to take it away."

"What happened?" asked Pan.

Dash reached her into bag as she said, "Well like I said, Applejack was able to match me physically so after seeing Sunset shove another poor smuck against a locker for the thousandth time we both decided we'd had enough and challenged her to a fight in front of the school that Saturday at noon, and for the first time EVER we saw her confident attitude melt away to fear for the briefest second. It didn't take her long to put her smug mask back on and accept our challenge but for the rest of the day we both cherished and laughed at that image and promised each other that we'd spend every waking hour training for this fight." Dash then paused for a moment before saying, "It didn't last though as when the day arrived I came to the school to find Sunset, JUST SUNSET, standing in front of the school smiling and when I asked where Applejack was she showed me these."

She then pulled out an envelope and handed it to Pan and when she opened it she was greeted to a series of pictures showing Applejack, appearing to be about the age she would be now, and Sunset laughing and hanging out together. As Pan flipped through these pictures Dash continued saying, "She told me that on the first day of Applejack's training she showed up to her house and somehow managed to win her over." Dash then exploded with rage as she said, "SHE SEDUCED ONE OF MY CLOSEST FRIENDS TO HER SIDE, LITERALLY!" and as if on que Pan reached the last picture which showed Applejack and Sunset sleeping in each others arms and while a blanket covered up most of them, enough was shown to suggest that neither of them was wearing anything underneath the blanket. She then blushed slightly as she put all the photos back in the envelope.

Dash didn't seem to notice though as tears began to form in her eyes and she said, "Ever since then whenever I see Applejack in the hall she just glares at me angrily, probably because of whatever lies Sunset drilled into her head, and as much as it hurts me to do it... I can't help but glare back."

Upon hearing this Pan became slightly confused as she asked, "Wait, you didn't actually talk to Applejack about this?"

"Why should I, she's already made it pretty clear this was more than just a moment of weakness when she didn't even bother to call and tell me before the fight or apologies to me after." She then clenched her fist in rage as she said, "While I was off training to kick Sunset's ass she was apparently admiring it over the course of a romantic week!" She then slammed her fist against the wall before saying, "AND THE WORST PART IS.... that I still want to forgive her. That even now if she came to me and said Sunset had tricked and that the pictures where blackmail or something.... I would forgive because deep down she's still one of my best friends."

At this point the anger seemed to completely disappear as the tears fell from Rainbow Dash's face and Fluttershy ran up and hugged her and began to whisper things like, "It's OK, just let it out," to calm her down.

Pan, not knowing what to say, decided to let her cry for a minutes as she thought, "OK, so Applejack and Dash challenged Sunset together and she, worried about them beating her, somehow managed to get Applejack to her side? It seems a little too convenient, but since there was a never a follow up with Applejack, and given what it looks like I can see why, I can't get another point of view on this yet." She then glanced back at the year book photo before saying, "I'm sorry that all this happened to you, and I'm grateful you shared it with me, but if you don't mind me asking what-"

Pan stoppled herself as while Dash had stopped crying she had a sad look on her face that made it clear that if she tried to say anything the tears would flow again. Pan became concerned as she said, "I'm sorry," and without even thinking walked up and joined Fluttershy in hugging her as she said, "We don't have to talk about it more if you don't want too."

Dash then pulled out of the hug saying, "No... no. We talked about most of it now anyway and I just know if I start talking about this stuff again I'll just break down again too," she then, despite her eyes being a little watery, had a cocky smile on her face as she said, "Don't want to let Sunset see anything she's done has actually gotten to me anyway."

Pan looked at her concerned for a bit before saying, "Well, if you're sure. All I wanted to ask was what happened to the other girls in the photo?"

Dash tried to answer, but the sadness retook her before Fluttershy stepped up saying, "Well Rarity, the girl with purple hair sitting next to me, was always close to Applejack so she stuck with her afterwards and as for Pinkie Pie..." she then trailed off as her own face became filled with sadness.

Dash then spoke up saying, "Let's just say that after her parties and other plans to get us all back together failed... she became a little less pink." She then glanced over towards the bus stop where a girl with straight grey hair, grey skin and clothes, and just the barest hint of pink on all of it was standing. As she boarded the bus she someone seemed to radiate sadness as the grass she walked by withered away and died instantly.

The girls turned back towards each other and rejoined the group hug. After some time had passed though Dash pulled away again as she, "Well um... I guess I better get home now." She wiped her face revealing that her eyes where now puffy from this prolonged crying session. Before anyone could call attention to this though she simply said, "See you later," and ran faster than either of them had ever seen her go.

As they stood there Pan simple remarked, "Poor Dash."

Fluttershy nodded as she said, "She tries to put on a brave face but deep down I think she might be even more sensitive then me." She then turned to Pan before saying, "I'm sorry you've been thrown into the middle of all this."

Pan gave a reassuring smile as she said, "It's fine, believe it or not I've seen way worse conflicts then this." She then added in her head, "Though not exactly ones of this nature."

Fluttershy then had a brief hopeful look cross her face before a hesitant look came to it as she said, "Well if that's the case then um..."

Already having a good idea of where she was going with this, but not wanting to assume, Pan said, "Go on."

".... Well um, I mean you're probably already planning to find out Applejack's side of story anyway so..." said Fluttershy as she once again trailed off.

Now sure what she means Pan simply hugged her saying, "Don't worry, I'll do everything I can to get your other friends back."

Fluttershy returned the hug before pulling away and saying, "Thank you, and don't just call them my friends because I'm sure as soon as they find out what your doing they'll be your friend too."

Pan smiled back saying, "If they're anything like two, then I'm think I'm a very lucky girl."

Fluttershy smiled before saying, "You can keep the yearbook by they way... if it will help."

Pan nodded and Fluttershy waved before leaving. Pan then sat against the wall once again as she looked at the picture saying to herself, "OK so the obvious course of action would be to track Applejack down... but on the off chance that she really DID fall for Sunset and betray Rainbow Dash I shouldn't confront her directly.... in which case my best bet would to find Rarity." As Pan stood up and put the book in her bad she commented, "Now then.... just gotta figure out how to do that without raising any suppositions as if this all some elabrate cover up by Sunset the last thing I need is her fidning out I'm aware of it."

Unbeknownst to Pan though, it was already too late for that as a stolen Capsule Corp drone, with a flaming sun spray painted over the Capsule Corp logo, flew overhead.

Back at her place Sunset watched Pan walk away as she smiled and said, "Oh sweet little Pan, go ahead and make friends. Make the closest and bestest friends you've ever had, the kind of friends you can tell all your secrets too.... including the secret of your power, and if I happen to overhear it it'd be your own fault." Sunset then let out a little chuckle as she said, "How ironic that Pan's plan to over through my hold on the school, will be the very thing to give me a foothold on this whole pathetic world,"

New Clothes and New Perspectives

"CHECK YOU LATER PAN!" cried Rainbow Dash as she waved goodbye and jogged to the bus while Fluttershy gave a small smile and wave as she slowly walked towards the student parking lot, as she was the only one of them who had a car.

Pan smiled back as she returned the waves saying, "BYE, DASH. BYE, SHY. SEE YOU GIRLS MONDAY!"

As Pan turned away that smile turned to a groan of annoyance as she began walking while thinking, "I've finished my first week at school and not only have I not had to deal with Sunset again, since she claimed her arm was sprained really bad even though I sensed no drop in energy from her that would say she was severely injured, I've managed to really get close with Dash and Shy to the point where I'd see the're my best friends behind Bulla, and I'm doing well in all my classes, though was to be expected. I SHOULD be happy but I don't feel like it because in this week I haven't seen Rarity ONCE and without her I can't get any further in finding out what Sunset's deal is. I don't want to ask Shy about it since their's a chance Dash could overhear again and I don't think she'd take me wanting to learn Applejack's side of the story as well as she did me just wanting to know about her."

As Pan grumbled to herself she didn't hear a car coming too close to the curve and was promptly splashed by a rain puddle. She then screamed not caring who heard, "AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF NOW MY FUCKING OUTFITS RUINED!" As she looked around for a solution, too angry to think of just going home with instant transmission, she spotted a store labeled, "Carousel Boutique, For All Your Fashion Needs." As Pan looked to her outfit one last time, confirming that there was too much water to just shake or ring it out in a few seconds, she began walking to the store saying, "Well I did want a new outfit anyway."

Pan soon entered the store only to see no one in it, and just as she was about to check the door again to make sure she didn't miss an out to lunch sign or something, a posh voice called from the back, "I'll be out in a moment dear, feel free to browse while you wait."

"OK," replied Pan as she looked around seeing mostly frilly dresses before making her way over to a nearby clearance bin as she thought, "Meh, I don't need anything special. Just a good pair of pants and t-shirt to wear home and I'll be good to go."

Soon though she heard something drop and turned to see the source of the posh voice standing there mouth agape before approaching her saying, "Oh darling, we must get you out of those wet, and might I add out of season, clothes before you catch cold."

Pan was simply stunned as between the girls meticulously quaffed purple hair and pearl white skin, there was no doubt that she was the Rarity Pan had been looking for.

While Pan stood dumbstruck at this lucky turn of events Rarity mistook this for signs she was too late as she walked over and her hand on Pan's forehead before saying, "Hmm, not running a fever yet. Well what are you just standing there? Hurry and get out of those dreadful things before you make yourself ill."

Pan then snapped out of her stuper as she thought to herself, "Get it together girl, if you spend too much time thinking about how lucky you are to have this happen, that luck is gonna run out. Probably best to break the ice with a joke." Pan then looked at Rarity saying, "Well that's the idea, but I think I should pick a new outfit before taking off this one, unless you want me to browse around your store in my underwear."

Rarity snickered as she said, "Well of course not darling," before glancing down as she recalled some of her more, difficult, customers as she called them and said, "though you wouldn't be the first."

This caused a slight snicker from Pan as she turned back to the bin saying, "Well it looks like I might not have much of a choice anyway because I'm not really finding anything my size in here and no offense to all those beautiful dresses there, but I've always been more of a jeans and a t shirt girl."

Rarity then moved next to her and began helping her dig through the bin as she said, "Sorry about this, we recently had a sale on all casual wear in order to make room for the dresses and tuxes we put out for Canterlot High's Fall Formal in two weeks. So pretty much all we have we have left that would fit you're style ironically won't fit you physically since all we have left are shirts and trousers either skinny as a pole or large as a-" she then stopped herself as despite no one else being around she still didn't want to offend her larger clientele as she said, "shirts and pants for those with a more generous build."

Pan then withdrew from the bin as she said, "Well looks like I'm just gonna have to run home and hope I make it before these soak through." As if to taunt her words Pan suddenly found herself letting out a small sneeze, resulting in Rarity's concern returning.

"Oh perish the thought dear.... I'll tell you what. I have a quick dryer and stain remover in back in case a client spills something on one of our outfits here. How about you give me you're clothes to dry and while we wait I can take you're measurements so that way you can have some clothes to choice from next time you come here," said Rarity.

Pan had a slight smile as she thought, "OK, I guess the luck isn't running out any time soon after all. A fitting will be the perfect time to ask her a few questions and just look like I'm gossiping to pass the time." Pan decided to fain modesty at first though saying, "Oh you don't have to go through all that trouble."

"Oh my dear, it is no trouble at all," said Rarity as she began pushing Pan towards the dressing room.

Once they were inside Pan simply shrugged and said, "Well if you insist," before kicking off her shoes and removing her socks, bandanna, shirt, and pants and put them in a, relatively, neat pile and motioned them towards Rarity.

Rarity though had a visible blush as she paused for a second before taking the clothes and running out of the room. At seeing this Pan feared the worse as she glanced down at herself before becoming relieved as she thought to herself, "OK, I did remember to wear underwear and the water didn't soak through and make it see through or anything, so what was up with that reaction? I mean, if she just recently got the job here and is nervous about this kind of stuff then why offer to do a fitting when I could have easily just sat in here and waited for the laundry to be done."

Before Pan could continue those thoughts though, Rarity returned holding measuring tape and wearing a pair of red rimmed glasses as she said, "Forgive me darling, I just didn't expect you to be so.... rugged," before a slight smirk crossed her face and she moved over and gestured for Pan to stand upright with her legs spread and arms out.

Pan did as she was told as she looked down at herself now noticing her ab and muscle definition as while strong muscles didn't always indicate strong ki those with the latter did usually have the former due to all the training. She then thought, "Hmm, while yes getting info on Sunset is top priority, this girl is kind of cute. And Bulla did say I should try to find my Ms. Right here." She then looked down at Rarity measuring her ankle as she had her own slight smile and said, "So you like rugged girls huh? I wouldn't expect that from someone like you."

"Oh trust me darling, I didn't expect it either as I had one terrible date after the other with those of high social status, but the next thing I knew I was swept my off by the sweetest country girl I'd ever met."

Pan then looked back up as she thought, "Ah seeing someone, figures... well I'm not here to find a date anyway. I'm here too-"

Before she could finish that thought though she heard a slight giggle before Rarity stood back up in a full on chuckle.

Pan couldn't help but smirk at seeing the girl laugh as she asked, "What's so funny?"

"I just realized, here we are talking like this, me going into detail about my love life and you hitting on my like this," said Rarity gesturing to Pan's lack of attire, before she continued saying, "and we haven't told each other our names yet."

"I wasn't hitting on you," said Pan with a slight blush.

"Oh please darling, I would have done the same thing if someone like moi blushed at me," said Rarity.

Pan then realized the slight absurdly herself, as while she knew Rarity's name from her research, she couldn't deny that they had skipped a few steps in there interactions as she chuckled saying, "Fair point... I'm Son Pan but you can call me Pan," before she reached out her hand.

Rarity took it saying, "I'm Rarity Belle but you can just call me Rarity."

They smiled at each other for a moment before Rarity got back to work.

Pan decided to get back to the task at hand as she started with the question that had plagued her mind this past week, "So how come I haven't seen you around Canterlot High before?"

"Well that's simple dear, I don't go there," said Rarity.

"What?" said Pan flatly at hearing that her week long search was doomed from the start.

"Well I guess technically I am since I need to report there every few weeks to take tests confirming my education is going swimmingly. Let's just say that last semester their was kind of rough... and leave it at that. So right now I'm attending home school with Granny Smith on the farm," said Rarity as she moved the tape upward.

"I'm guessing this is how you met the rugged farm girl then," said Pan with a sly smile.

"Well yes and no. I knew Applejack long before that, but we were just friends It wasn't until I agreed to go to home school with her and moved in that we realized we had feelings for each other," said Rarity with a warm smile at remembering how it all happened.

"Hmm," said Pan as she mentally cheered at the conversation already turning to Applejack.

"Yes, I was slightly concerned that my parents would object to me living with a girlfriend at this age but as soon as they saw Granny Smith's sleeping chair and shot gun in between our two rooms... they knew there was nothing to worry about."

Pan chuckled before getting back to her point as she said, "Soooo, forgive me for asking but since you already said you went on several dates before going out with her, did Applejack happen to date anyone before you?"

"Well, that is a rather personal question dear, but considering that the answer is a simple no Applejack shouldn't mind."

"Hmm."

"What is it dear?"

Not knowing what else to do Pan decided to go for broke and ask somewhat directly as she said, "It's nothing it's just... I heard rumors about why Applejack left CHS and one of them was that she had a bad break up with that bitch Sunset."

"WHAT!" said Rarity with fury clearly painted on her face before she let out a deep breath and her composure returned to her as she said.

"Well, I'm afraid that whoever started that rumor twisted the truth quite a bit as it wasn't my sweet AJ who fell for that snake's charms," said Rarity with slight annoyance in her voice.

"What do you mean?" asked Pan.

"Well, Applejack and I used to have this group of friends," she paused a slight moment as the good times with them all crossed her mind before she continued saying, "and one of them named Rainbow Dash agreed to help Applejack overthrow her but on the day of the fight she was simply greeted by Sunset informing her that she and Rainbow where now an item and that Rainbow wouldn't dare hurt her."

"Really?" said Pan.

"She even had pictures of them having various dates over the week, including a candid of them in bed together. Now who would hop into a bed with a witch like her at all, let alone after just one week."

"Hmm," said Pan as she thought to herself, "So Applejack has a set of photos that show the same thing but with Dash.... photos that without a shadow of a doubt would show a perfect relationship, a TOO perfect relationship for one that had started as they described."

Just as Pan was starting to figure out what was going on, Rarity added another bit of evidence to the fire as she said, "And the worst part is not only did Rainbow Dash not even have the decency to cancel the fight but she even texted AJ saying that the fight was moved to sunrise instead of noon."

At hearing this everything came together as Pan mentally yelled, "So Sunset faked an email to stagger when they'd arrive and photos to make them turn against each other!" She then turned to Rarity as she said, "Let me ask you something, if Rainbow Dash apologized to you two, would you want to be friends with her and the others again?"

Rarity then paused for a moment as her eyes watered somewhat at the prospect before saying, "Of course I would, I miss them all dearly. Of course Applejack misses them too but is too stubborn to admit it, but her stubbornness is one of the things I love about her so what are you going to do." Rarity then stood up saying, "May I ask why you have so much interest in this matter Ms. Son?"

Pan ignored the change in tone as she slightly smiled saying, "Let's just say I'm not the only one who believed a false rumor about all this."

Reunions and Revelations

As Pan sat on her living room couch she texted her friends one more time saying, "So are you sure you girls remember the plan?"

"Um, Yes?" replied Fluttershy tentatively, making it impossible not to read it in her voice.

"Indeed we do," replied Rarity more confidently as she continued saying, "I'm getting ready to leave with Applejack now and I told her to bring the photos saying that I met someone who could take down Sunset if she had more info on her."

"And I told Dash that you needed to see the photos one more time, to make sure there wasn't any details on the background we missed that could help out," replied Fluttershy before sending a new message saying, "I still don't feel right tricking them like this."

"I do too, but I'm afraid this might be the only way," chimed in Pan.

"Indeed, you know how stubborn they both can be, honestly given how similar they are I thank my lucky stars that Rainbow is straight, otherwise my lovely little AJ might have ended up with her instead," replied Rarity.

Pan thought about chiding Rarity for getting a little off topic but after Fluttershy responded with a blushing laughing emoji, she remembered that this is the first time either of them had engaged in any kind of friendly banter in who knows how long and let it slide. Even joining in on the banter texting, "Lol, if you knew she wasn't into girls why did you believe Sunset's pics anyway?"

"Well.... I honestly didn't think too much about it. I suppose I got a touch caught up in Applejack's rage," replied Rarity.

"Same, otherwise I would have pointed out Applejack's crush on Rarity," replied Fluttershy.

"You knew about that?" replied Rarity.

"Honestly... both of you did so terrible a job hiding it we were surprised you two weren't already dating. I mean remember that camping trip where-"

Thankfully for Rarity's shake Fluttershy must of been talking to Dash as she stopped there letting Rarity reply, as Pan could pretty much feel her blush through the phone, "Anyway we are heading out the door now, and should be at you're place in about twenty minutes."

"And me and Dash should be there soon after," replied Fluttershy.

"Cool, remember Rarity, when you and AJ get here I'm gonna try and kite AJ to another room so that Dash can't just see her in the doorway and turn tail," replied Pan.

"Of course darling," replied Rarity.

Soon after Rarity sent the text she was on her way Pan noticed she was letting out stressed breaths. "Come on Pan, calm down. You've faced people trying to blow up the whole planet before, you can handle this. I mean what's the worst that could happen? AJ and Dash refuse to make up and hate me for trying to make them and then Shy and Rarity can't hang out with me either AND THEN I LOSE ALL THE FRIENDS I'VE MADE HERE!" said Pan before saying, "OK... talking about what could happen isn't helping... so let's talk about I can do."

She then ran to the kitchen as she looked around at a few bags of chips and cans of soda she bought for today, "I could put out the snacks now, but I figured I'd save that to celebrate if this goes well." Her tone then got a little panicky as she said, "What if I don't have enough snacks?! I mean, I figured we could order a pizza or something too but what if they don't want that?!"

Those thoughts were briefly interrupted as Pan heard her doorbell ring and, on panicked instinct, yelled, "IN A MINUTE!"

She was snapped back to reality as she heard a worried Rarity say back, "Um, darling are you sure you REALLY need a minute, you never what might COME UP SOON."

Realizing what she meant Pan ran and swung the door opening saying, "Hi Rarity, sorry I was just busy um..... checking my email."

Pan briefly smiled at being able to come up with such a good lie on the spot as Rarity said it's no trouble at all darling," before leaning in and whispering, "I caught sight of Dash sprinting here with Fluttershy tailing her, they could be here any second."

Pan nodded as she then turned to the orange girl behind Rarity as she feigned ignorance saying, "You must be Applejack, it's good to meet you."

"Same here," said Applejack as she reached out her hand.

Pan took it and basically pulled her in with it saying, "COME IN! COME IN!"

Applejack looked bewildered at this as she noticed Rarity shot the door behind them. She wanted to comment on this but couldn't as she found herself being plopped on a couch as both Rarity and Pan weirdly smiled at her as Pan said, "So would like anything to drink? I got soda, apple juice, grape juice, pear juice, and cherry juice. You can sit in there for as long as you want mixing it all together to make your perfect fruit juice mix!"

"Or you if you want something more substantial I'm sure Pan has plenty of condiments, and lunch meat if you want to make yourself a sandwich or maybe you could even fire up her oven and we could all make something really big!"

Applejack looked unnerved at all this as she said, "Um, no thanks I'm not really hungry or thirsty." Pan and Rarity briefly had looks of worry come over them, but Applejack didn't notice as all this talk of food of and drink soon made her uncomfortable for a different reason as she said, "But if ya don't mind, I'd be mighty grateful if I could use your bathroom."

Pan smiled and, as she wanted to get AJ as far away as possible to be safe, said, "Of course you can, it's up the stairs, the door on the left of the bedroom at the end of the hall."

"Um, not to reject you're hospitality in letting me use you're personal bathroom, but don't you have a guest one I could use instead? I'm not too comfy treating other people's places like my own," said Applejack.

Pan once again grabbed AJ by the hand as she began leading her to the stairs saying, "Oh, sorry but you can't use the guest bathroom because it's um...."

"CLOGGED," added Rarity.

Pan looked somewhat annoyed before her fake smile returned to her as she said, "Yeah um... let's just say you DEFINITELY shouldn't get a burrito from that food truck down the street and leave it at that."

Instantly Applejack felt a third kind of uncomfortable at hearing this as she quickly said, "Oh well, um thanks for the advice, I'll be back in a minute Rare," she then gave her a luck that said, "You're lucky I care about you because you're new friend is WEIRD."

As Applejack walked away Pan and Rarity descended the stairs and plopped down on the couch calmed as Pan said, "Clogged? Really?"

"Well I didn't see you coming up with anything better, besides it worked didn't it," said Rarity defensively.

"Yeah it worked..... at making her think I'm some weird oversharing lunatic," said Pan sarcastically.

"Well, all friendships start out kind of awkward," said Rarity with a grin.

Pan couldn't help but chuckle at that as she said, "True."

As they both shared a quick giggle on the couch, they heard the doorbell ring again as Pan looked at Rarity and whispered, "Hide in the kitchen."

Rarity nodded and ran where she was told as Pan opened the door, only to see Fluttershy as she confusedly said, "Um, hey Shy? Where's Dash?"

"Oh, I saw Applejack and Rarity and realized we might arrive a little too close for comfort so I asked Rainbow if she could get me a Hetap from that gas station over there," said Fluttershy pointing.

"Well that adds a whole extra level of embarrassment to all this," said Pan.

"What?" asked Fluttershy in confusion.

"Nothing, just come in, Rarity you can come out if you want," said Pan as she shut the door behind Fluttershy as she sat herself on the couch, resigned to this fate.

Fluttershy became even more confused at Pan's words, but that confusion quickly melted away as she soon found herself in a bear hug from Rarity as she said, "I missed you so much darling."

"I missed you too, it's been so long since I got to see you," said Fluttershy.

As they talked Pan heard someone walk towards her door as she said, "If this works out, you'll get to see each other everyday again."

Between Pan's annoyance causing her to forget to lock the door and Dash's lack of tact preventing her from knocking first she soon slammed the door open carrying several cases of Hetap preventing her from noticing everyone in the room as she said, "WE HIT THE JACKPOT! That place had these cans of Cell Lemon Lime and Satan Cherry left over from the Cell Games promotion," she then sat the cases down before grabbing one of the ones with a picture of a smiling Cell on it as she took a sip saying, "Oh yeah, that's the good shit right there." She then grabbed another can saying, "What are you girls waiting for drink up before it gets-" she stopped herself though as she saw who was currently hugging Fluttershy.

"Ra-Ra-Rarity? What are you doing here?" asked Dash as she stared at the second to last person she expected to see right now, but before anyone could answer they heard the sound of the toilet flushing and sink running before the last person Dash expected to see descended the stairs.

"Woahee, that's one fancy bathroom. Thank again Pan I-" began AJ before she stopped herself upon seeing the two new additions to the living room. For a brief moment she had a look of forlorn sadness that Pan was now very familiar with cross her face before it turned to hostility as she flatly said, "What's the slut doing here?"

"Slut!? You're one to talk little miss Sun Chaser!" responded Dash.

"What the hay is that supposed to mean!?" said AJ as she reached the bottom of the stairs and stood on the opposite side of the coffee table to Dash.

"OH! I think you know what the HELL, it means! If you're gonna argue with me, at least use grown up swear words."

"Please darling, it's not what you think," said Rarity as she approached AJ.

"She's right Dash, it's all a big misunderstanding," said Shy as she did the same for Dash.

"YOU INVITED HER HERE!?" said AJ and Dash in unison.

Upon seeing the anger be redirected towards Rarity and Shy and their fearful responses, Pan decided to enact her secret plan B as she said, "Now that's enough girls. We all know who here as a right to be pissed off and who deserves the hate."

Applejack and Rainbow Dash both looked back at each other nodding as each of them believed Pan was talking about themselves. She then continued saying, "In fact, why don't we stop beating around the bush and this person show the other why they're mad so we can get on with this."

"Sounds good to me," said AJ as she reached into her backpack.

"Me too," said Rd as she did the same thing.

The girls then had smug looks on their faces as they found what they were looking for as they both smiled and threw their pictures on the table saying, "BECAUSE I DIDN'T DO THIS!"

Those smug smiles soon faded as they were greeted by pictures that seemed to say they both had done it, and Sunset.

Pan simply looked at their shocked faces with her own smile as she reached into her own bag and pulled out her laptop saying, "Now that that's out of the way then, let's get down to what really happened."

She then opened and began running the pictures of AJ and Sunset through the built in scanner as everyone sat down beside her and Applejack said, "What exactly is going, and what are you doing?"

Pan's smile never wavered as she said, "My friend from back home Bulla may not be as big a genius her mom is, but she can do allot when she puts her mind to it, including creating an anti photo shop program when a couple of girls at our old school tried to edit her social media posts and humiliate her." As the scanning finished and she was greeted with a smiling picture of Bulla and a button that said 'let's see what REALLY happened', as Bulla was theatrical like that, Pan simply gestured towards the button, understanding how useful that caption was and wondering if Bulla could mod a picture of herself above the button in if she ever had to do this again, before clicking it.

They all then watched as one by one Sunset was eliminated from all the pictures and slight parts of AJ's expressions changed as it turned to pictures of her walking alone or, ironically, having ice cream with Dash until finally it got to the last picture which had the biggest changes. The bed and blanket where replaced with a sleeping bag and the ground underneath, AJ was now wearing a typical baggy sleep t shirt with a picture of a band she probably didn't even like that much on it and finally, and most shockingly, rather then being totally erased Sunset was replaced Rarity in the same position, granted also wearing a sleeping t shirt.

This caused the two girls to blush as Fluttershy quietly said, "That's the camping trip I was talking about."

Pan slightly chuckled as she said, "I thought you two didn't start dating tell after all this?"

"We weren't dating back then," said Rarity blushing.

"Yeah," agreed AJ also blushing, "We were just really close."

"How close?" said Dash giggling, as all the tension from before had melted away and she was suddenly back in her normal "teasing friends" mood. "Because it's not like we can see what's going in that sleeping bag?"

"Well we-." began AJ before Rarity placed her hand in front of her mouth

"RAINBOW DASH!" said Rarity as her blush reached a magnitude at the prospect of the sometimes too honest Applejack going into detail, regardless of what those details may or may not be.

Pan let out her own giggles at seeing this display before grabbing the other photos as she said, "Well Dash, if you're so keen on wondering what really happened then let's see what you're photos really are."

Once the pictures scanned they were once again greeted to the same basic affair as the pictures changed to either Rainbow alone or hanging out with a friend until, once again, the last picture changed vastly. The bed and blanket turned into a sleeping bag and the ground again, but that's where the similarities ended as Rainbow was now wearing blue one piece pajamas with cartoon smiling clouds on them and cuddling with... a teddy bear.

This resulted in a somehow bigger blush from Dash as the other girls chuckled and she nervously said, "Cle-clearly Sunset put some kind of double photo shop on here cause I would never hug a teddy bear or wear something that lame."

"Then what were you doing?" asked Rarity enjoying watching Dash squirm.

"WELL! Clearly I was with a guy or something cool like that," said RD with a nervous smile on her face.

"Um, we were all at that camping trip so I think we'd notice something like that," said Applejack flatly.

"Well, we didn't notice you two getting in the same sleeping bag," said Dash.

"Um, I did," quietly said Fluttershy.

Pan let a laugh at all this before looking at AJ and Dash as she said, "So I'm guessing by all this ribbing you two have made up."

They simply looked at each with warm smiles as AJ said, "Shoot of course I do."

Dash shrugged as she said, "Like I said, I was willing to forgive her if she just admitted it was a mistake, of course I'm going to forgive when she didn't actually do anything wrong." The two then joined into a warm long hug of two people who hadn't seen each other in so long.

After taking a moment to enjoy the moment Rarity commented saying, "I Just can't believe that Sunset would go this far to split us up! I mean spying on us, hacking emails, forgery, and border line blackmail!"

AJ simply moved over to Rarity bringing her into the hug as she said, "Well she only did that because she knows how tough we all are together."

Fluttershy simply nodded at that as she also joined into the hug, before they all turned to the still seated Pan and Rarity gestured for her to join.

"Wha- no this is you're whole making up moment," said Pan in response.

"And we wouldn't have made up without you," said Dash reaching out and pulling her into the hug.

Pan resisted somewhat at the sudden occurrence but soon joined in as she felt the warmth and loving care of all those around her. None of them knew how long this went on before Fluttershy commented, "It still feels like their's something missing."

Suddenly all of them except Pan pulled away as they gasped and said, "PINKIE PIE!"

"Now how are we gonna get her back," said AJ.

"Won't she just come back on her own when she see's us hanging out again?" said Dash

"Unfortunately no," said Rarity.

Fluttershy nodded as she said, "Me and Rarity tried that months ago by showing her moments when you two where in the same area and it kind of looked like you were hanging out.... from a distance."

"Hmmm, looks like we're going to something big like... A PARTY!" said Dash as she thought of the one thing that could always get Pinkie's attention.

"But when are we gonna throw it and how would we get her to come?" said Fluttershy.

"Hmmm," responded Pan before looking at the snacks she had in the kitchen, the mountain of Hetap Dash brought, and the expense card that Bulma gave her which would cover anything else they'd need easily as she said, "We could have it now," she then looked at her laptop and remembered some of the less legal software Bulla used to get back at those bullies as she said, "And as for how to get her to go... she wouldn't happen to be in any clubs would she?"

"Well yeah she's in Baking Club, albeit her skills dipped significantly when she we all broke up, why?" said Fluttershy.

Pan simply smiled as she said, "Sunset's not the only who could do a little hacking."

In front of Canterlot High one hour later.

As Pinkie, or Greyie as her siblings jokingly called her in a vain attempt to cheer her up, walked towards the front of the school she looked at her phone again as she dryly commented, "Kinda weird for the Baking Club to have an emergency meeting like this, but whatever... it's not like I have anything better to do."

As she entered the school though she was greeted by people she never thought she'd see together again, and a girl she recognized as Son Pan as despite ignoring her party instincts, she still had them and took note of every new student this year, yelling, "SURPRISE!"

She then noticed the balloons and snacks all around as well as the banner hung up saying "BFFF = BSFFAHANM."

Applejack then spoke up saying, "Pinkie Pie, welcome to the Best Freshman Friends Forever Are Now the Best Sophomore Friends Forever-"

"And Have A New Member!" added Dash as she gave Pan a friendly dig in the arm.

"PARTY!" they all chimed in.

For a moment Pinkie simply stood their stunned as she looked around the party supplies around her as, despite being a clear example of amateur hour, they were clearly sit up with care as a smile overtook her face and to Pan's shook, and everything else's joy, Pinie's hair poofed up as her both it and her skin turned totally pink and she said with a level of hyperspaces none of them had seen before, "OH MY GOSH THIS IS SO AMAZING! I NEVER THOUGHT I'D HANG OUT WITH ANY OF YOU AGAIN AND HERE YOU ARE THROWING ME A PARTY!" She then ran up and hugged them one by one before reaching Pan as she gave her the biggest and tightest hug saying, "And I know you are responsible for it all Son Pan, though I guess you prefer Pan and you can call Pinkie or Pinks or Pie or HECK after doing something so nice for me when I didn't even throw you a welcome party I don't care if you call me one of those weird things that Sunset calls me that I don't know what they mean like 'Hair Pie' or whatever else. You know it's weird whenever I try and ask a teacher about it they just blush and say I should ask my parents but then when I ask my parents they say a girl my age shouldn't use that language and I'm just like-."

Thankfully to the now somewhat uncomfortable crowd Pinkie became distracted as she said, "OH, real quick I just got to fix this crocked banner."

As she began ascending the ladder though she lost her footing and began falling and, on instinct Pan instantly leaped into the air caught her saying, "Whoa there, you OK?"

Pinkie weirdly just said, "Weee!" as she flapped her arms like a bird.

Pan looked down at her friends for clarification only to realize she was quite a bit down to see them as she turned her gaze further to see that she was still floating in the air with Pinkie.

She then lowered herself and sat Pinkie on the ground, as she just skipped over to the others, as she nervously chuckled and scratched her head saying, "Hehe, looks like there are still a few things I need to explain to you girls."

Meanwhile at a place not only beyond the reach of most mortals but beyond the reach of time itself a spiky haired man and what appeared to be a pink young girl sat at a table having tea.

The girl sensed something though as she simple sat her cup down and got up saying, "It's time."

The man choked on his cup for a second as he said, "WHAT! Are you sure?"

She then walked over to a tarp with several spherical objects underneath it as she said, "I've looked at every possibility, unless the Dragon Balls are returned are returned to Earth now, disaster beyond even you're ability to repair will occur."

The man ran up to her as he said, "I don't doubt you're judgement Supreme Kai of Time but..." before trailing off.

The Supreme Kai of Time simply looked at him and smiled saying, "I know you're worried Goku, but trust me. You're granddaughter is ready for what's about to come."

Truths and Training

View Online

Sunset sat at her computer watching as her drone circled the school and peaked into the windows as she flatly said, "Well this was a bust, I guess people are wising up to my tricks and sneaking around somewhere else to make out or do drugs or whatever other things these fucked up apes can do that I can black mail them for.... maybe the alley behind Sugar Cube Corner has something, sugar can't be the only white powder that kept Pinkie so peppy..... speak of the devil." Sunset commented as she noticed Pinkie walking towards the front of the school. A sadistic smile formed on her face as she turned the drone to get a view towards her and the entrance saying, "Well well, I guess this wasn't a waste after all. Let's see what the little depression case is doing to try and cheer up." Her mind raced as she thought of all the things that Pinkie might be doing, and all the things she would do to make sure pictures of them don't go public. All of those thoughts ceased as she pulled the drone up to the lobby window and saw something she didn't think would be coming this early.

Standing in the lobby were Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Fluttershy, Rarity, and finally, the object of her attention, Son Pan. She looked at the surroundings as her smile became more sinister and said, "Awww, throwing a little party to reunite your new friends with their old friend, how sweet.... and naive."

After watching for a few more moments Sunset realized a flaw in her current situation as she said, "AHHHH! I can't hear anything those pricks are saying, she could be telling them exactly how she got her powers right now and I wouldn't even know!" She watched as Pinkie's pink returned and she went around talking to everyone as she commented, "Well at least I can photo shop those Hetaps into beers or something," just as she was preparing to enact a plan B her plan A suddenly became relevant again as Pinkie fell off the ladder and was caught by Pan who was floating in mid-air.

Sunset instinctively zoomed in on the two as she took several pictures saying, "JACKPOT JACKPOT JACKPOT!"

Meanwhile back inside the school

As Pan looked at her friends who, aside from Pinkie who was still grinning, all had their mouths agape staring at the girl who was just floating, she opened her mouth to try and speak but was soon assaulted by questions.

"How in tarnation did you do that!?" said Applejack.

"I'm not seeing any wires or Capsule Jet Packs, it's gotta be magnets just like Cell right?" said an oddly worried looking Dash.

"Oh please Dash, that barely made sense then and it certainly doesn't make sense in a public school," said Rarity.

"Um... you didn't happen to teach a series of tiny birds to carry you in an emergency like I did... did you?" said Fluttershy.

They all continued with similar questions as Pan became somewhat annoyed saying, "GIRLS!" causing them all to go silent. "S-Sorry. Look I understand that you all have a lot of questions about what you just saw, and I plan on answering them but this might not be the best place," she said as she stretched her arms and looked up at the ceiling before continuing saying, "There's not enough room in here if any of you want to see more."

As the girls stared on in confusion Pan thought about the spacious lot behind her apartment she'd used to get in some light training as well as something she could use to both get the girls there quicker and make sure they know this isn't any kind of trick, though Dash seems to be the only one who needs convincing. She then reached one hand out towards them and placed the pointer and middle finger of the other on her forehead as she said, "This is going to sound weird but I need you all to grab onto me or each other."

Back at Sunset's

As Sunset watched intently they all seemed to be forming some kind of friendship chain as Pan reached out her hand resulting in Pinkie taking it and then Fluttershy taking Pinkie's other hand and so on. Just as Sunset was going to say something, she briefly noticed Pan weirdly had one hand on her face before they all disappeared. "What... WHAT THE FUCK!" said Sunset as her chair was knocked to the side as she bolted upright. "NO NO NO! I HAVE SPENT TOO MANY YEARS ON THIS MISERABLE FUCKING PLANET LOOKING FOR A CLUE ON HOW TO GET THIS POWER THAT MAKES CELESTIA LOOK LIKE A DAMN TODDLER, I AM NOT LETTING IT SLIP AWAY NOW!" She stood there simply raging for another moment before remembering a calming technique she was taught many years ago as she took a deep breath in and placed a hand in front of her chest before taking a deep breath out while moving it forward. She then sat back down with a clearer head as she mumbled to herself, "Guess that undeserving pink princess was good for something other then stealing my thrown." She then looked at her drones controls as she said, "OK think logically about this. She's probably going to tell her new friends everything I want to hear just like the plan... except I don't know WHERE SHE'S DOING IT!" Her anger briefly flared back but just as quickly disappeared as she said, "If she's going to do that anywhere it would be her house where she keeps stuff related to this." She then began piloting the drone towards it as she commented, "Good thing I made note of where the place was."

As Pan and others arrived in the lot they all, once again excluding Pinkie, freaked out more at the sudden change of location as she Dash said, "HOW THE HELL DID WE GET HERE!?"

Pan was about to speak before Pinkie said, "Hold on," before reaching into her backpack and somehow pulling out all the party supplies they had in the lobby and sitting them up quickly in the lot before saying, "OK, continue."

For a moment they all stared at Pinkie before she said, "WHHHAAATTT? It's my party and just because our friend here is some kind of super powered alien or something doesn't mean we need to stop the party."

"Oh please Ms. Pie, I doubt she's an alien," said Rarity as she tried to brush what she believed to be a childless notion aside.

Unbeknownst to any of them though a familiar drone had just parked itself right above Pan's building where it could watch and hear them undetected.

"Well.... technically I'm quarter alien," said Pan.

"I'm sorry what?" said Rarity flatly at having her assertion swiftly struck down.

Pan then scratched her head nervously as she said, "Well my grandfather was really an alien warrior called a Saiyan who was sent to this planet before his home own was destroyed."

"WAIT! MR. SATAN IS AN ALIEN!" said Dash as a look of excitement came to her face.

This only caused Pan to stifle a giggle as the image of her Grandpa Satan as a Super Saiyan popped into her head

The giggle briefly escaped as she said, "God no. Look I love my Grandpa Satan but the fact is he's just a fraud who took credit for the stuff my Grandpa Goku, my dad, and his friends did."

"MR. SATAN IS A FRAUD! Does..... does that mean Cell was really a monster and not some guy in a costume with gadgets like he said?" said Dash as the odd panic once again retook her.

"Well um... yeah. I never saw him of course but from what I heard from my dad he was brutal, it took everything he had for my dad to stop him," said Pan.

"Hold up a minute, you're dad beat Cell?" said Applejack in confusion.

"OH! So he was the blonde kid that challenged Cell right before the camera cut out," said Pinkie as she put her arm around Pan.

Pan thought about questioning how Pinkie suddenly got next to her, but something told her that if she questioned this new girl she'd be hear all day. More importantly though she was excited as she said, "FINALLY! Someone who didn't forget about that! I mean I understand why people believed all the slock my Grandpa said, since flying people who blow up planets with their mind sounds weird until you see it, but how the heck did no one think that the last person they saw fight Cell might have been the one to beat him!"

"I KNOW RIGHT! I said the same thing but most people just looked at me like I was crazy," said Pinkie before they both giggled at all this.

"SO, WAIT!" yelled Rainbow Dash getting their attention before saying, "So all those guys that tried to blow up the whole planet where REAL!"

"Well... technically some of them did more then just try, but yeah pretty much," said Pan still with a slight smile.

That faded away though as Dash curled up on the ground and rocked back and forth as Fluttershy rubbed her shoulder trying to calm her down. "Is she OK?" asked Pan as she was afraid this might happen.

"Oh it's just... all of us kind of had our suspicions about some of the weird stuff that happens around the world so... while this may be to a tough pill to swallow we still can," said Shy before looking at the others who nodded. "But Dash on the other hand..."

Dash continued rocking back and forth as she mumbled to herself, "At any time some lunatic could just kill everyone... and no can stop him.... and I'm gonna die a virgin."

Shy did her best to comfort her as she said, "She... really needed the lies."

Pan sighed as she said, "I was afraid this might happen... I'm sorry girls I-"

She didn't get a chance to finish though, as Applejack approached her saying, "Shoot, there's no reason to apologize Pan."

"Really?" said Pan as she looked at AJ confused.

AJ then put her hand on Pan's shoulder saying, "Well yeah, a bitter truth is always better then a sweet lie, I always say. Besides," say AJ looking at the fetal rocking Dash," I'm sure she'll get over it.... eventually."

"In the meantime darling, let me just make sure I've wrapped my head around all this. You're grandpa, you're dad, and you are aliens called Saiyans who save this save this planet time and time again with your Saiyan powers," said Rarity as she rubbed her head thinking about this.

"Basically, though ki techniques aren't unique to Saiyan's we just naturally have a greater ki potential then the average human, but humans can still learn to do all this stuff too," said Pan.

She then noticed Dash perk up slightly before putting her head back down again and, realizing what this meant because of Dash's personality, Pan smiled as she looked towards a dead tree in the lot saying, "In fact let me show you one of the first techniques I ever learned, it's a real crowd pleaser." She then turned to the side and put her hands together as she said, "Kaaaameeehaaaameeeehaaaaaa!" before launching the classic ki blast, albeit a small one as she held back significantly, and obliterated the tree.

This had the desired effect as Dash stood up with a jolt saying, "THAT IS AWESOME! Can you teach me how to do that!?"

"Um.... I guess, but I've never actually trained anyone before," said Pan at the unexpected turn.

'Well come on, I mean... I bet you remember how your training started," said Dash.

"Well, yeah," said Pan.

"Well then just teach me that then," said Dash excitedly.

"Hmm, I guess that could work," said Pan.

"Shoot, if you're willing I'd like to learn some of that stuff too," said AJ.

"Really?" asked Pan.

"Well yeah, having super strength alone will be helpful on the farm, not to mention all these fancy techniques too," said AJ. "I mean just imagine how fast I could get the orchard picked if I could just kick a tree and have all the apples fall."

"Oh what the heck, I'll do it," said Rarity.

"Are you sure? I mean I get AJ and Dash, but you definitely aren't a fighter.... no offense," said Pan.

"None taken darling, and no I'm not a particularly a fighter, though I do take a Tae Bo class to stay in shape and because a modern lady does need to know how to defend herself. Regardless in addition to the aforementioned self defense, it would be nice to be able to zip around my shop to get supplies just as you suddenly took us here."

Dash then looked at Shy who shrugged and said, "I guess I'm in too, Dash already taught me a handful of things to defend myself from people like Sunset, and it would be nice to be able to hold some of my larger and more difficult animals without losing my grip or accidentally hurting them."

"AND YOU KNOW I'M IN!" said Pinkie Pie.

Pan smiled at all this as she took in the fact that not only have her new friends accepted her for who so is but want to be her students as well. She then said, "Alright girls, if that's how you feel then the Canterlot branch of the Turtle School is now in session."

Sunset was practically foaming at the mouth in pure ecstasy as her plan had come to a head and she was about to hear the key to her domination of this world from the lips of this poor fool herself. That ecstasy suddenly ended though as she heard Pan say, "Now the first step is to learn how to sense the ki of someone really strong so everyday after school you'll all need to come here and focus on feeling me make these ki orbs," before forming one in her hand as if to taunt Sunset. The apparent didn't seem to end there as she said, "After a while of sensing my energy not only will be able to sense you're own and actually start using it but you'll be sense other peoples too for example," she then closed her eyes before saying, "Sunset it about five miles north from here."

"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!"
