> The Redlight of Canterlot > by MidnaMagic > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Chapter one: Sun is up, secrets kept. > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Redlight woke up that morning, bed empty save for her grey cat, Mist. The powder blue mare rolled out of bed and trotted over to her vanity, using her magic to brush her short purple mane and tail. Redlight was about to open her door when she heard a crash out in the hallway and the rapid thumping of large hooves. Sounds like one of the patrons slept over and was rushing to leave for his daylight life before anyone knew he was missing. Redlight chuckled and opened her door just as the white and blue stallion ran by. Oh, she purred. It was that royal guard from last night that Silver-tongue seduced. Redlight trotted down the steps to the first floor and saw Silver-tongue getting one last kiss from the fleeing guard before he ran out the back door, mane a frazzled mess. The pink pegasus giggled when she saw Redlight. “He was such a quick shot,” she snickered. “He came four times before I even got him inside me.” Redlight rolled her eyes. “Remember, Silver. Sun is up--” “Secrets kept.” Silver-tongue finished. “Yeah yeah, I know. Anyway, I’m going to go clean up before heading in to work.” Redlight nodded. “Don’t forget your satchel. I restocked the business cards in it and packed you some lunch.” The pink pegasus ran up to the blue unicorn and hugged her. “Thanks, Red.” She whinied before planting a kiss on her cheek. Redlight smiled, her lips partially open as she ate the love the pegasus gave her. Silver tongue smiled before letting go and trotting over to the kitchen where her satchel was. She flung it over her flanks before flying back upstairs to her room to get clean. Redlight reminisced about the time she first found Silver as a teenager. The pegasus was kicked out of her home by her parents for getting herself pregnant. Redlight had taken her in saying that she could stay with her in the brothel, with other mares to help her take care of the foal once it was born. And then, once Silver was of age, she’d join the brothel. She’d been working for Redlight for five years now and her son was doted on by everyone. Another a pair of mares trotted down the steps. One was Amber, a freckled tan deerpony. The other was her frequent customer, Feather-mane. Feather was the victim of an abusive marriage. She’d come by often when her husband got particularly nasty and Amber would treat her to some tender love and then walk her back home the morning after. Their story usually was that Feather had just “stayed over at a friend’s house.” Redlight walked to the door to open it for them. “Amber. I have your satchel restocked with business cards and your lunch.” She said with a smile. Amber smiled back. “Thanks, Red. I’ll be back soon to grab it.” The hybrid nodded at her boss before walking out with her guest. Redlight smiled inwardly. Amber was a blessing to the brothel. Running away from her own abusive household as soon as she was old enough, she was the perfect mare to take care of customers like Feather properly. And, as an added bonus, she had the attitude to put the abusers back in their place. At least for a time. Then, running out from the kitchen, was Silver-tongue’s son, Silver-bullet. The grey colt looked up at Redlight expectantly. “Has mommy left yet?” He asked. Redlight shook her head. “No, she’s up in her room. She’ll be able to see you off to school today.” The colt smiled at the answer and ran back to the kitchen then presumably to his room, which was a deep cupboard repurposed into a small bedroom for the colt to sleep in. It was located in the farthest corner of the brothel so he wouldn’t have to be around when the mares were ‘redlighting.’ Redlight went into the kitchen after him and was about to use her magic to grab the oats from the top shelf, only to stop in her tracks when she saw Bullet trying to flap his tiny wings to get up to the sweet jar. Redlight chuckled and levitated him instead, lifting him over to look her in the eye. “What do you think you’re doing?” She asked fighting to keep a grin off her face. The colt sputtered, embarrassed at being caught. “I was just practicing my flying...” he mumbled. Redlight chuckled. “By trying to get to the sweets?” She asked. The tiny colt nodded sheepishly. Redlight put him down and grabbed the sweets jar, opening it and giving him a candy-cane. “There. Finish it before your mother gets down here, you know how she feels about you eating sweets before breakfast.” Silver bullet nodded and quickly began eating the sweet. Redlight then went to grab the oats once again and brought them down to the counter along with some milk from the cellar, and a jar of honey. She stirred them all together to make herself a bowl oatmeal. She glanced around and decided to use her magic to heat the food instead of busying herself with the stovetop. Once it was ready, the mare went to sit down at the table and began eating. She loved the taste of honey. It tasted like the love of a long married couple; one where they knew each other for long enough to be able to practically read each other’s mind, and are able to take things slow together and just sit there and be cute. Yes, she sighed, that was what honey tasted like to her. Redlight had finished her oatmeal and Silver-bullet had just stuffed the last of the candy-cane in his mouth when Silver-tongue came into the kitchen. She grabbed herself a small muffin and scarfed it down quickly. Bullet jumped up to leave with his mother when she glanced up expectantly. Redlight had to act fast to levitate his satchel onto his back before he bolted from the room. Then the mother-son duo were gone, heading out the front doors of the brothel, which just looked like a house, off to their normal daytime activities. Redlight sighed. She was alone in the brothel once more. She dropped her pony disguise and breathed in with her real lungs, her insect wings buzzing as she left the kitchen, and went back up to her own room. A whole day to herself. Mist sat up when she saw her mistress walk into the room in her normal form. The cat went up in green flames and became another changeling. “So we’re alone?” She asked. Redlight nodded. “Yes, Silver just left to take her son to school but Amber will be back to grab her satchel after she drops off Feather.” she replied, “You know how those two are.” She climbed into bed with the other changeling, muscles that were tensed before now relaxed. The other changeling rubbed the soft parts of her body, shapeshifting into one of those spa ponies from Ponyville. Redlight rolled her eyes before taking back up her pony disguise. “Why don’t you turn into a stallion and take care of something else for me?” She asked with a sly smile. The spa pony laughed before shapeshifting into one of the stallions they had seen come in the night before; A large cream furred stallion with a brown mane and a donut cutie-mark. Redlight rolled over onto her back and spread her legs, her folds, usually hidden by thick fur, now visible as they parted. The stallion positioned himself over her before pressing his large cock inside her. Redlight gasped at the sensation. No matter how many times she did this, it always felt like her first time. The stallion was immediately rough, rocking his hips in a quick and powerful motion. Redlight letting out moans and gasps as he rocked her body, and in doing so, the bed. Redlight was thankful that she had put soundproof spells on every room for the privacy of guests, because the stallion suddenly pulled back before ramming into her at full force, making her let out a lustful cry of ecstasy. At some point, they had rolled over with Redlight on top. She moved herself up and down on his cock. She was sure by this point that the changeling had increased the size of his cock compared to what the real pony’s was like. It was just like her partner to treat her to unrealistic sizes. The two eventually slumped over in a heap, having both cum their fair share of times. There was a knock at the door and the other changeling quickly changed back into a cat. Redlight used her magic to pull out the fluids on the bed and toss them out the window, and then tidy up the blankets. She opened the door to her room to find herself face to face with several guard ponies. “What can I do for you, gentlemen?” She asked, partially annoyed that they had just let themselves into her home, but she didn’t mention that. She walked downstairs with the stallions so they could all sit down on her sofa while they talked. Apparently someone reported her establishment for some reason or another. Honestly, all the possibilities jumbling together in her mind of why someone would report her. They asked who all came to her establishment the night before, and she had to explain for the hundredth time that she had a contract with each of her customers that made it so she could not give their names, cutie-marks, or appearances. One of the guards frowned. “Give us the names, changeling.” he growled, “We know you don’t really care for the ponies you feed off of.” Redlight sighed and shifted to her true form. “It’s not a matter of if I care about them or not.” She turned to face the guard who was now trying desperately to avoid eye contact. Idiot stallion, all talk and no bite. “It’s a legal agreement that keeps my customers coming.” She said. “And if you guards keep trying to get me to break that legal agreement, I am going to have to take it up with my lawyer.” She threatened. That got the guards to back off a bit on that subject. As they left, Redlight took back up her pony looks, and saw from the door which pony was the last one out. She hummed to herself and turned, closing the door. > Chapter two: Judging eyes and chains of blood > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Silver-tongue trotted down the street, her son on her back giggling as he held on tight. Silver skipped and jumped as she went along, her son enjoying every second of the pony ride that they rarely had time for. They reached the school soon after and Silver sat down so Bullet could slide down her back. She hugged her the colt before he ran towards a red unicorn colt. The unicorn’s name was Babble. Babble because his little brain went at a mile a minute and his mouth couldn’t keep up, so his speech tended to come out in a garbled mess. Silver watched with a smile as the two colts ran inside the school building. She stood up and turned to start walking away when she heard someone say the word “whore” and her torn ears swiveled around to catch the rest of the conversation. “—let her bastard son attend our school. I just hope he doesn’t corrupt our daughter.” A mare said. Silver heard a stallion huff in agreement. “Yes, I can’t believe they were able to afford It. I knew the school was taking in one charity case with that retarded colt. But two charity cases? They’ll bring down the reputation of the school!” Silver’s muzzle scrunched up in a snarl before she put on a forced pleasant smile and walked up behind the rude couple. “Oh, why hello again~” She purred. The two immediately whipped around to face her, their faces simultaneously falling into frowns. “What do you want, tramp?” The mare sneered, sidling closer to her husband. Silver knew she had heard her say “again” and was wondering what that meant. Silver smiled sweetly at them both, not addressing one or another. “I’m just saying it’s nice to see you again, though, I think it was risky telling your spouse about me.” Her face fell through eyes gained a malicious look. She allowed herself to get a little choked up to fussy up the act. “I thought we had something special...” Both ponies sputtered in shock. The mare looked at her husband. “Are you cheating on me?!” She screeched. The stallion stood and glowered at his wife. “No! You’re the one who’s doing the cheating!” He hollered, enraged. Silver smiled and turned to walk away. That should teach them to talk about her son that way again.                                                           •~~~~~~~~~~• Amber and Feather walked together down back alleyways and small side streets. This was their shortcut to the house. It cuts the normal one hour walk down to just fifteen minutes. During moments they were alone, Amber would lean over to nuzzle Feather’s cheek and the mare would return the gesture to lean on her lovingly. Feather sighed and buried her face in the side of Amber’s neck. “Sometimes I wish I could just run away from it all like you did.” She said. Amber looked down at her. “Well why not? Just say fuck it and pack your things.” She sneered, thinking about the stallion. “You know he’s abusive. You know he’s not going to get any better. So why not just come and live in the brothel with me.” Feather shook her head. “I can’t, you know that… and it’s too late now because... because...” She stuttered and went silent. Amber stopped walking and gently nudged the silent mare. “Because what?” She asked softly. “Because I’m Pregnant.” Feather sobbed, hiding her face from Amber. “And he knows I am. If I run now he’ll hunt me down to take my foal away from me.” Amber held the mint-furred pegasus close, letting her cry it all out. Well this was going to make things complicated...                                                             •~~~~~~~~~~ Silver trotted to her daytime job, a little maid cafe in the tourist district. She walked in and smiled as the other mares that worked there greeted her. Silver went to the back rooms where the waitresses got changed and got into her maid outfit. She left her collar on though. Since it was a requirement of Redlight’s that her girls didn’t take them off. Silver let one of the unicorns take a brush to her messy indigo mane and tail, but that didn’t mean she didn’t grumble or be grouchy about it. Once the unicorn was done, Silver immediately ran out of there and into the main part of the cafe. She went up to the podium so she could lead ponies to their tables. The cafe, like Miss Redlight, knew just how useful Silver’s special talent could be and opted to put her in jobs that made her interact with the most ponies. Silver smiled as the first couple of ponies came in. This was a group of young stallions, and silver made a mental note of how they acted so she could persuade them to try certain foods. When one of them walked up and asked for a table for five, Silver smiled and nodded. “Yes, would you like a table for only five, or would you like some extra seats?” She asked, slightly leaning over the podium in a cute way. The stallion looked a bit unsure and looked back at his friends, who all mouthed “extra”. He nodded and looked back at silver. “E- extra seats, please.” He stammered. Silver nodded, her sweet smile still on her face, grabbed five menus and lead the way to one of the booths. As she walked, her hips swayed and she could tell that many of the boys were eyeing it. She set the menus down on the table and the stallions all got into their seats. One of them swatted at her flank with his tail. Although the cafe had rules against touching the maids, Silver didn’t mind since she would also be breaking some rules today. In one of the menus, the one belonging to the stallion who swatted her, was one of redlight’s business cards. Silver bowed to the stallions once they were all seated. “Today’s specials are Garden maid, Master’s call, and Prance delight, Masters” She said. “Your personal maid will be with you momentarily.” She then turned and went back to the podium to help any more customers that came in.                                                           •~~~~~~~~~~• Amber and Feather stood outside Feather’s house. Feather obviously looked like she didn’t want to be there, but had it in her mind that she had to. Amber walked her up to the door and when they found it locked, rang the doorbell. Heavy hoofsteps could be heard before the door was unlocked and swung open. Standing there, glaring down at Amber, was her older brother, Oak. The large deer-pony turned his gaze to look at Feather. “Bout time you made it home.” He growled. Feather dipped her head. “I went to Amber’s place to stay out of your way, I’m sorry.” she said meekly. Oak huffed and pulled Feather inside before turning to his sister. “I found out where you live, sister dearest.” he sneered. “So don’t think I’ll let my Feather go there again!” Amber glared at him. “She doesn’t do anything there. She just hangs out with me.” Amber said. Oak brought his face close to her’s. “If that foal ends up not lookin’ like me, I’m commin’ for your head.”He threatened, before leaning back and slamming the door in Amber’s face.
