One day with Fluffle Puff
Jimmy was at his home. For someone like him, a good way for spending the day was to do things related with My Little Pony and Equestria Girls, which included seeing episodes from the series or playing with his plushies. And he liked his plushies, especially the one from the character he loved the most: Sunset Shimmer.
That morning, Hasbro had made a strange announcement on the Internet: as they said, a portal opened on the real world, and humanized versions of MLP characters were appearing here and there.
At first, Jimmy couldn't believe that, even if he enjoyed hearing it. But then, on YouTube, he noticed a lot of videos in which the same thing happened: someone wrote a letter to a character, and that person got to spend time with that character.
"Wow, that's awesome! Guess I could try..." Jimmy said as he looked at his plushies.
The problem? He had so many plushies!
"Which one could I choose?" Jimmy asked to himself.
He could choose Sunset (obviously), but he thought about other characters. He also feared the portal would disappear, but Hasbro mentioned it would be there for a long time.
So he looked between plushies of Sunset, Pinkie Pie, Starlight, Trixie, Fluttershy... until he saw one certain plushie: a pink pony, her body full of fur and a small tongue sticking out of her mouth.
"Of course! I can hang out with the human Fluffle Puff!" Jimmy exclaimed, and he went to grab a sheet of paper and a pen.
As nervous as he was, he managed to write a good letter with a few grammar errors, which were corrected. At the end, he left his sign and folded the letter, putting it inside an envelope and closing it.
Just after that, he looked at the videos again. The next step was... leaving the letter outside home?
"Wait... That's it? Just leaving it there?" Jimmy said, confused. Hesitating, he grabbed the letter and stood up, getting out of his room and walking towards the main door. Once there, he opened it and, seeing that it wasn't windy, he left the letter on the floor outside before closing the door.
"Well, I must admit it: this is the most curious thing I have ever done." Jimmy said as he stared at the door. After a minute, he turned around to leave, but when he was about to enter his bedroom, he heard the doorbell.
"Oh, that must be the package I ordered." Jimmy thought, but one sound made him change his mind.
"PFFFT!"
As soon as he heard that, he quickly opened the door, and he didn't see the letter... but a girl.
She had a pink skin, with long pink hair. Her eyes sported an aquamarine tone, and her tongue was sticking out of her mouth. She was wearing a white and pink sweater with a heart on the middle, a blue skirt and a pair of furry boots.
Jimmy couldn't believe what he was seeing, but he had to make sure that was the right girl.
"Uuum... Are you... Fluffle Puff?" Jimmy asked, and the girl nodded with a smile.
"Yes! I can't believe it's happening!" Jimmy said, excited. His heart skipped a beat when Fluffle Puff booped his nose.
"PFT!"
Jimmy had it very clear: he was going to have fun.
The first thing they did was going to a funfair located at the town.
"Wanna get on the rollercoaster?" Jimmy asked, receiving a happy gasp from Fluffle Puff.
The people waiting at the rollercoaster's queue was amused to see Fluffle on Jimmy's shoulders, making sounds as they were approaching the entrance. Once there, the girl in charge sold them two tickets.
"Is she your girlfriend? Just curious." the girl asked.
"Not exactly. She's a friend of mine." Jimmy answered, smiling nervously.
Fluffle Puff leaned forward and booped the girl's nose, making her blush.
"Heh, t-that's adorable. You two can enter." She said.
"Thanks!" Jimmy said, and he took Fluffle Puff to the rollercoaster.
"N-Next, please!" The girl said, still blushing.
They spent the day at the funfair, going to some of the attractions, including the rollercoaster, the carousel, the mirror maze and something that looked like a house, which had an obstacle course.
Jimmy ran as fast as he could, easily going through the house and avoiding the obstacles. When he arrived at the end, however, he saw Fluffle Puff was already there.
"What!? H-How did you arrive before me!?" Jimmy asked, surprised by the results. Fluffle Puff only gave her usual answer:
"PFT!"
"Heh. Anyways, I think it's time to go home. Wanna come and get lunch?" Jimmy said, and Fluffle Puff nodded happily. With that, they went back to Jimmy's home.
Once there, Jimmy decided to make sandwiches for both of them. He made them and put them on the table as Fluffle Puff took a seat.
"Bon appetit!" Jimmy said, and they started eating.
He noticed something odd: Fluffle Puff was eating the edges of the sandwich in a particular way. He thought that was the way she used to eat. But after a while, he looked again, and Fluffle Puff had made a heart with the sandwich.
"Oh, that's nice!" He said, and Fluffle Puff gasped cheerfully before finally eating the rest of the sandwich. When she finished, her tongue stuck out of her mouth as she made that sound again:
"PFFFT!"
"Heheh, awww." Jimmy said, and Fluffle Puff hugged him.
"This is so good." He added.
In the afternoon, they thought about going to a different place. The park was nice, so they went there.
Adults, kids, pets... Everyone was having fun at the park while enjoying the nature around them. Fluffle Puff spent the time running here and there, playing with the grass, the leaves, the trees...
Meanwhile, Jimmy was sitting on a bench while seeing Fluffle Puff.
"Aaaah, fresh air." He said, breathing.
Just then, he saw Fluffle Puff walking towards him. When she arrived beside him, she raised her arm and grabbed his hand.
"Huh? Do you want me to play with you?" Jimmy asked, and Fluffle Puff nodded with a smile. "Alright!"
So he stood up and went with her, playing with the grass, the leaves, the trees...
Yeah, he was right: he was having a lot of fun.
And finally, the night arrived.
Once they were back at Jimmy's home, Fluffle Puff made some gestures like she was pointing at a clock.
"What? Is it time for you to go?" Jimmy asked, and Fluffle Puff nodded.
"Oh... Well, I hope you come back anytime. This has been such a good day." Jimmy said, and Fluffle Puff booped his nose.
"PFT!"
And, with that, she went outside Jimmy's home and closed the door. A beam of light told Jimmy that she returned to her world. For making sure, he opened the door again, seeing an envelope on the floor.
Opening the envelope, he found a note, which was written by Fluffle Puff.
"You're so cool, Jimmy. I wish we could have done more things today, but I already had so much fun. See you anytime!"
Jimmy looked at the sky, smiling.
"See you anytime, Fluffle Puff. Thanks for this." He said, before entering inside home and closing the door.
