Seperate Sides Of Her Heart:

Aria seems to have two sides to her and it seems that Sonata and Adagio have fallen on seperate sides of her heart.

We all know that Aria has always been more of a closed-off grump than her two counterparts, but, what happens when Adagio and Sonata fall on separate sides of her heart? Adagio on the usual closed-off grump side, and Sonata on the more soft and open side of Aria.

It was currently mid-afternoon on a Thursday morning and the three girls who were formerly known as The Dazzlings were in their mansion-sized house. Adagio Dazzle, the oldest of the three girls, was sitting in her reclining chair in the living room and was watching something on the TV, Aria Blaze, the second oldest, was also in the living room, but she was looking at something on her phone instead of watching the TV because what was on didn't interest her. Sonata Dusk, the youngest of the three girls, was downstairs in the basement playing with her toys in her playroom, Aria looked up a few minutes later and saw that Adagio was looking at something on her phone but the show she was watching was still on the TV and she didn't seem to be watching it anymore.

"Hey Adagio, could you maybe change the channel to something a bit more, I don't know, interesting?" Aria sarcastically asked her older sister, rolling her eyes at her.

"Why? I'm still watching this." Adagio flatly answered, asking why Aria wanted her to change the channel.

"Really, because it sure looks like you're playing on your phone instead." Aria stated, raising an eyebrow towards Adagio, showing she was clearly unamused with her sister's answer.

"I'm just looking through my Snap Chat really quickly and then I'm going to go back to watching the show." Adagio sharply retaliated, unamused that her younger sister had a problem with what was on the TV.

"Sure, whatever." Aria flatly said, looking back down at her phone, going to watch something on Netflix but then remembering her earbuds were upstairs in her room.

"Ugh." she exclaimed to herself as she got up to go upstairs and get her earbuds so she could watch Netflix.

Adagio watched as Aria exited the living room through the doorway that led out to the hallway, rolling her eyes as she did because of how stubborn Aria was and that Aria always tried to be right when they argued and acted like she was the older sister, even though she wasn't. Aria walked down the hall, turned when she reached the stairs and then went up the stairs and made her way down the hall, past Sonata's bedroom door to her closed bedroom door, when she reached her door, she opened it, stepped inside her bedroom and then closed her door behind her before turning on her light and walking over to her bed. Aria grabbed her earbuds off her bedside table and figured she might as well just stay in her room and watch Netflix, she then sat down on her bed and moved to sit at the head of bed, resting back against her huge headboard as she plugged in her earbuds and then clicked on Netflix. Once Netflix loaded, she clicked on the movie she was currently watching on it and put her left earbud in, leaving her right earbud out in case Sonata came to get her for something. The movie she was currently watching on Netflix was a horror movie called Hush, she didn't mind horror movies, but, they had to be good horror movies, not the mock-up comedy type ones. She knew Sonata didn't like horror movies though so she knew she would have to change the movie she was watching or turn off her phone if Sonata came into her room to get her or wanted her.

*10 MINUTES LATER*

Sonata came up the stairs and was going to go to the living room to ask Aria to get her something to eat, since it was now 1:45 in the afternoon, she walked down the hall towards the living room and entered the living room and was slightly shocked when she didn't see Aria in the living room like she said she would be. She saw her oldest sister though so she figured she'd just ask her where Aria was, since she knew that Adagio wouldn't get her something to eat.

"Dagi." Sonata said to get Adagio's attention off the TV.

"Sonata, I said not to call me that." Adagio flatly stated, turning to look at her youngest sister who was standing in the doorway of the living room.

"Aw, but I like calling you Dagi." Sonata whined, knowing Adagio'd only said that to her because Aria wasn't in the room, since Adagio knew Aria was very protective and caring of Sonata.

"Well don't. Anyway, what do you want?" Adagio asked, knowing Sonata must want something.

"I just want to know where Ari went, I wanted her for something but she's not here." Sonata answered, explaining what she wanted.

"Oh, she's upstairs in her room." Adagio flatly replied before looking back at the TV.

"Ok, thank you." Sonata said before turning and leaving the living room to head upstairs to her sister's bedroom.

"Sonata, come back here for a second." Adagio called to her youngest sister after she left, remembering she needed her to clean her room.

"What is it?" Sonata asked after appearing back in the doorway of the living room.

"Could you maybe clean your room like I've been asking you to do for four days now." Adagio explained, receiving a frown from her youngest sister.

"Right now?" Sonata asked, not really wanting to clean her room.

"Yes, preferably now so you won't forget to do it." Adagio replied in a little firmer tone, unamused with her sister's question.

"Ok." Sonata said before turning to leave again.

Sonata walked down the hallway and then turned and went up the stairs and walked down the hall and stopped in front of her closed bedroom door, she looked down the hallway to where Aria's and Adagio's bedrooms were, knowing she had to clean her room but now she just wanted her older and protective sister. Sonata had anxiety, and she got upset really easily, especially when she got told to do something and it was said to her in a rather firm or raised tone, sort of like the one Adagio's used to tell her she had to clean her room. Instead of going into her room, she turned and walked down the hall to her older sister's room, she didn't bother to knock when she got to the door, she just entered, knowing Aria would know it was most likely her. Aria turned when she heard her bedroom door open and turned her movie on her phone off when she saw her younger sister, she smiled when Sonata turned to face her after she closed her bedroom door but knew something had upset her younger sister when she didn't return her smile and just walked over and crawled onto her bed and over to her.

"What happened?" Aria softly asked as Sonata crawled onto her lap and buried her face into her left shoulder and wrapped her arms around Aria's shoulders.

Sonata didn't say anything, she just turned her head to look over at the other side of Aria's bedroom, resting the left side of her head on Aria's shoulder and then began to cry a little bit. One reason Aria cared so much about Sonata was in fact Sonata's anxiety, since Adagio cared very little about Sonata and Sonata having anxiety, Aria was the one Sonata went to for everything, she'd also broken through to Aria's heart and now Aria loved and cared about her. She was also extremely protective of her younger sister and hated to see her upset.

"Hey, it's ok, tell me what happened Nata." Aria softly said again as she began to gently rub her younger sister's back to soothe her and help her stop crying, calling her the nickname she was only allowed to call her when they were alone.

"Dagi happened." Sonata quietly replied, turning her head to look at her older sister.

"What'd she do?" Aria softly asked again, slowly so Sonata wouldn't get too pressured by it.

"She got mad at me because I called her Dagi and then she told me to clean my room but she said it in a firmer voice that I didn't like." Sonata quietly explained, beginning to cry a little harder as she did.

"Shh, it's ok. You don't have to clean your room, I looked this morning while I made your bed and it's fine." Aria softly explained, continuing to rub her younger sister's back to calm her down, gently kissing the top of her head.

"Are you sure?" Sonata asked looking up at her older sister with questioning eyes that had tears in them.

"Yes, I'm sure. I wouldn't lie to you." Aria softly answered, setting her phone and earbuds down beside her on the bed and gently moving Sonata more onto her lap.

"Ok." Sonata replied, shooting her older sister a small smile as she began to calm down a little.

"Here, you can watch some of your cartoons on my phone if you want while you calm down." Aria said, grabbing her phone from beside her and turning it on, it was already on Netflix.

"Sure." Sonata quietly said, watching as Aria put some of her cartoons on her phone for her.

"There you go." Aria softly replied, holding her phone and watching her younger sister's cartoons with her younger sister.

*1 HOUR LATER*

"Well, might as well go check and see if that little brat cleaned her room yet." Adagio said to herself as she walked up the stairs to see if Sonata'd cleaned her room, it was now 2:50 in the afternoon.

Adagio reached the top of the stairs and walked down the hall a little ways to her younger sister's bedroom, unlike Aria, she didn't knock when she entered Sonata's room so she just opened the door. When she opened the door, she saw that her youngest sister was not in her room and that her room hadn't been cleaned yet, Adagio's anger flared as she shut her youngest sister's bedroom door again and turned to walk down the hall to Aria's room, figuring that's where Sonata was.

"That little brat's going to pay for that, she knows what happens when she disobeys me." Adagio mumbled to herself as she reached Aria's bedroom door.

"Aria." Adagio said as she knocked on Aria's closed bedroom door, she often knocked on Aria's door because she knew how Aria got if she didn't.

"What do you want Adagio?" Aria asked from inside her bedroom, she sounded annoyed that Adagio was bugging her.

"Is Sonata in there with you?" Adagio asked again, reaching for the doorknob to open the door.

"Yeah, she's asleep though." Aria answered, Adagio took this as an invitation to open the door and go into her younger sister's room.

"Well, she didn't clean her room like she was supposed to and I would like her to do it." Adagio explained quietly as she walked into Aria's room after opening the door, seeing that their younger sister was asleep and was laying on Aria.

"Her room isn't even dirty, I clean it every night when I put her to bed, you know that." Aria quietly replied, glancing down at her younger sister when she moved her right hand slightly.

"Ugh, fine. Wake her up for me, I need to tell her something." Adagio said, gesturing for Aria to wake up Sonata.

"No, I won't wake her up, she wants to sleep so I'm going to let her, it's better for her if she gets some sleep." Aria exclaimed quietly, slightly shocked at what Adagio'd told her to do.

"Aria, wake her up." Adagio said again, this time a bit firmer, hoping Aria would listen to her.

"No. Now be quiet so she can sleep." Aria retaliated, looking down at her younger sister and gently wrapping her left arm around her when she began to get restless, most likely due to Adagio's raised tone.

"Whatever, just let her know I want to talk to her when she wakes up then." Adagio explained before turning and leaving the room.

"Ugh. She'll never get it." Aria whispered to herself, looking down at her younger sister who was still a bit restless, gently rubbing Sonata's left side with her left hand to soothe her.

"Ari." Sonata quietly said as she calmed down, gently rubbing her head against Aria's left shoulder which it was rested on. Her eyes were closed as she said it but it wasn't said in her sleep.

"Shh, it's ok. I'm still here, just go back to sleep." Aria softly whispered to her younger sister, continuing to rub her side to soothe her back to sleep.

After a couple minutes, Sonata eased back into her sleep and Aria stopped rubbing her side so she could sleep in peace, but, left her arm wrapped light around her so she'd know Aria was still there with her. Aria looked back over at her phone, which currently had Instagram on it and scrolled through it, she had the volume on her phone turned down and also had her ringer off so her sister could sleep peacefully and not be woken by noise from Aria's phone. After another five minutes went by, Sonata began to talk again, but this time it was in her sleep because she was talking about random things that weren't making sense, like something about a unicorn chasing a little pink rabbit so Aria guessed that's what she was dreaming about. She looked down at her younger sister for a second and smiled at her and then back at her phone and her Instagram.

*10 MINUTES LATER*

"Hi Ari." Sonata said as she opened her eyes and looked up at her older sister.

"Hi, how was your nap?" Aria softly asked, looking down and smiling at her younger sister, it was now 3:10 in the afternoon.

"Good." Sonata answered, returning her older sister's smile.

"That's good. Just going to say that Adagio wants to talk to you about something." Aria explained, turning her phone off and setting it down beside her on the bed so she could talk to her younger sister.

"About what? Is it about my room?" Sonata asked, growing worried that she'd get in trouble for not cleaning her room.

"No, it's not about you're room, I told her you didn't have to clean it because it wasn't dirty. I don't know what it's about." Aria softly explained, gently rubbing her younger sister's back as her younger sister rolled onto her stomach.

"Should I go see what she wants?" Sonata asked again, looking over at her older sister's closed bedroom door.

"Probably, it'd be better to do it now than wait until later." Aria softly replied, following her sister's gaze.

"Um, come with me, I don't want to talk to her alone." Sonata explained, gesturing for her older sister to come with her as she sat up and moved to get off the bed.

"Tell you what, I'll come with you, but, I'm going to grab something to eat from the kitchen and you can talk to her while I do that, and if she's mean to you in any way, I'll be able to hear it and I'll come and protect you." Aria softly explained as she moved to get up also once Sonata stood up.

"No! I want you with me when I talk to her!" Sonata exclaimed, turning and gesturing she wanted to be picked up.

"Hey, look at me Nata." Aria softly said as she waited for her sister to look up at her, "It's alright, she won't hurt you, I won't let her even if she tries to." Aria softly explained once Sonata looked at her.

Sonata didn't say anything, she just nodded and wrapped her arms around her older sister while she calmed herself down, Aria helped her calm down by gently rubbing her back and lightly hugging her back. She could feel her sister trembling a little and felt bad, because her younger sister was freaking herself out about talking to Adagio, mainly because Sonata got scared of their oldest sister when it came to the two of them talking one on one because in the past it sometimes hadn't ended well. While Sonata calmed down, Aria gently picked her up, since she'd wanted that before and knew it would most likely help her calm down a little more, once she was picked up, Sonata looked over at her older sister again as she wrapped her legs around Aria's lower waist and her arms around Aria's shoulders.

"Ari, I-I know you won't let her hurt me, but, I want you to come with me when I talk to her so she can't have a chance to." Sonata quietly explained, looking at Aria with eyes that showed how anxious she was at the moment.

"Ok, ok, I'll come with you Nata. It's ok. But, if she wants to talk with you without me than you have to let her ok." Aria softly explained again as she gently rubbed her sister's back while walking over to her bedroom door to open it.

"Ok." Sonata replied, resting her head on her older and protective sister's shoulder as Aria opened her bedroom door and walked out into the hallway.

Aria quietly closed her bedroom door behind them and walked down the hall towards the stairs to go down them to find Adagio so she could talk to Sonata, hoping she wouldn't make Aria leave while she did because Sonata was completely freaked out about Aria leaving her with Adagio. She felt her sister's breath going down the back of her shirt and continued to rub her back as she descended the stairs to soothe and keep her calm. Once she reached the bottom of the stairs, she turned and walked down the hall and into the kitchen, thinking Adagio would be in the kitchen and was a little surprised when she wasn't. Aria then walked out of the kitchen and continued down the hall to the living room, seeing that Adagio was busy vacuuming, when they entered the living room, Sonata covered her ears with her hands because she didn't like the loud noise the vacuum made. Adagio turned the vacuum off when she saw her sisters, remembering she needed to talk with Sonata about something. That something was why she always had to go whine and complain to Aria when she was told to do something by Adagio and then got out of doing it because Aria defended her when Adagio confronted her about it.

"I see she's awake now, so I'll talk to her now." Adagio said as she walked over to where her sisters were, gesturing for Aria to put Sonata down on the floor.

"Can I stay while you talk to her? She's not really comfortable about doing it alone." Aria asked, explaining Sonata was uncomfortable.

"No. Mainly because you'll just defend her if I ask her something a little more personal." Adagio answered, denying the fact that Aria wanted to stay.

"But, I want Ari." Sonata exclaimed quietly as Aria gently set her down on the floor between her and Adagio.

"You'll be fine Sonata, I'll just be in the kitchen so I'll still hear if she does something to you." Aria explained, giving Adagio her warning glance to make sure she knew Aria would be back if she heard anything suspicious.

"Ok." Sonata said a little hesitantly, not wanting Aria to leave but understanding she'd be just in the next room over.

"If she starts crying just stop the talk, she's already stressed out because I'm leaving her in here alone with you." Aria explained before walking past Adagio and into the kitchen through the small doorway once Adagio nodded her understanding, not that she cared at all.

"Ok, Sonata, do you want to sit on the couch and talk or stay right here?" Adagio asked, looking back down at her youngest sister, who was watching her cautiously.

"Um, sit on the couch. Could I maybe hold one of my anxiety toys to?" Sonata asked as she crawled over to the couch to sit on it, pointing to her little basket of her anxiety/stress relieve toys that were sitting in front of the side table beside her and Aria's side of the couch.

"Yeah go ahead." Adagio flatly replied, allowing Sonata to do it so she'd hopefully sit and talk.

"Ok." Sonata replied quietly, picking one of her anxiety toys out of the basket and then sitting on the couch.

"Now, all I really wanted to talk to you about was just a small little thing ok, it's a little more of a personal question, but you'll be ok, it's not that personal." Adagio explained to her youngest sister as she walked over and sat at the opposite end of the couch as her.

"No! No personal stuff!" Sonata exclaimed, she only liked talking about personal stuff with Aria.

"Calm down, it's not really a personal question." Adagio replied, hoping Sonata's exclaim wouldn't attract Aria, who was secretly listening to the two's conversation from around the corner, listening for signs that Sonata was getting to stressed out.

"Um, ok." Sonata said, hoping Adagio wasn't lying to her, as she often did.

"Ok. All I want to know is why you go and complain to Aria when I ask you to do something? Like today when I asked you to clean your room, that's all I wanted you to do." Adagio asked Sonata, explaining her question to her in a way Sonata'd understand it better.

"Hey, you said this wasn't a personal question Dagi! But that's personal so I won't answer it!" Sonata exclaimed again, from around the corner, Aria debated whether to go now or wait to see what Adagio would say first.

"Be quiet you little brat. Just answer the question!" Adagio demanded, moving slightly closer to Sonata.

"She doesn't have to answer anything and you can't force her to Adagio!" Aria stated sharply from behind Adagio, quickly walking over and gently grabbing her younger sister and picking her up.

"See! This is why I wanted to talk to her alone, without you, so you wouldn't get all defensive. But it clearly backfired." Adagio exclaimed loudly, throwing her arms in the air in frustration, her elevated tone and anger scared Sonata more.

"Stop yelling, you're scaring her." Aria stated through gritted teeth, gently rubbing Sonata's back to calm her down.

"I'm sorry, but not everyone can show two personalities at one time like you can Aria!" Adagio yelled again, standing up and taking a step towards Aria, who reacted by taking a couple menacing steps forward, causing Adagio to back up because Aria was stronger than her.

"Oh really, because I've found out it's not that hard." Aria chirped back, watching that she kept an angered tone out of her voice.

"Well good for you Aria! You're so smart!" Adagio yelled back, mocking Aria's tone as she did.

"Stop it!" Sonata exclaimed as she put her hands over her ears to not hear the yelling, her exclaim was pointed at Adagio, not Aria. She then began to cry because she was scared, tightly wrapping her arms around Aria's shoulders and crying into the base of Aria's neck.

"You don't yell at me you little-" Adagio walked forward and reached out to grab Sonata and pull her from Aria as she spoke, but she was instantly stopped by Aria's vice-like grip that she was now grasped in. She cautiously met Aria's gaze, which seemed to be staring and stabbing daggers into her, she'd forgotten for half a second that Aria was there when she's started yelling at Sonata.

"Leave her alone." Aria flatly said, continuing to stare into her older sister's eyes with her death glare as she tightened her grip around Adagio's wrist.

"Ok, I'll leave her alone." Adagio said, mainly so Aria wouldn't get even more mad at her.

"Thank you." Aria replied, releasing her grip on Adagio and then turning and leaving the living room to go back upstairs and calm Sonata down. She began to rub her younger sister's back to calm her once they were out of the living room.

"Shh, it's ok. No one's yelling anymore." Aria softly said as she turned and walked up the stairs when she reached them, continuing to rub Sonata's back.

"See, that's why I wanted you with me, so she wouldn't do that." Sonata exclaimed, looking up at Aria after calming down a little bit.

"Yeah, I see why, but she wouldn't let me stay remember, I even asked her." Aria softly explained as she walked down the hall to her room, passing Sonata's bedroom.

"I know, then she asked me a personal question." Sonata exclaimed, beginning to cry again at the thought of it while Aria opened her bedroom door and stepped inside.

"Shh, it's alright. I'm here now." Aria softly replied, rubbing Sonata's back as she shut her bedroom door behind them and then walked over and sat on her bed again.

Back downstairs, Adagio had gone back to vacuuming and was mumbling to herself about her sisters as she often did, mainly because she was still annoyed due to the argument they'd had and wanted to show her they were right.

"Ugh. I really want those two to learn to not need each other so much, like come on, Sonata needs to learn not to cry when something personal is mentioned to her and Aria needs to learn not to get so defensive of Sonata the second Sonata starts to cry." Adagio mumbled to herself as she vacuumed.

Back upstairs, Sonata was now resting the right side of her head on Aria's left shoulder and was looking over at her older sister's far wall of her room, Aria quietly sat with her and looked through her SnapChat while rubbing Sonata's back with her left hand to calm her down. She looked down every few minutes to check on her sister and kissed her this time when she looked down, hoping it would help calm her younger sister down and make her happy, because Aria hated to see Sonata upset. After a few minutes went by, Sonata became a bit restless because she was bored of sitting around and doing nothing, Aria looked down at her and gently went to calming her down so she wouldn't be restless.

"Shh, you're ok. What's wrong?" Aria asked as she softly stroked Sonata's hair, only asking because she knew her sister sometimes got restless when she was upset.

"Nothing, I'm just bored." Sonata answered, looking up at her older sister after calming down a little.

"Oh I see. Would you like to do something then?" Aria asked again, softly and slowly to make sure she didn't pressure her sister to much.

"I don't know. What time is it?" Sonata asked, wanting to know what time it was to see what she could do.

"It's one seventeen." Aria answered after looking at her phone for the time.

"Oh ok, I might go play with my toys in my room then." Sonata replied, sitting up on her sister's bed beside her older sister.

"Alright go ahead, I'll still be in here if you need something." Aria softly explained, watching as her sister got off of her bed to go and play in her room.

"Ok Ari." Sonata said before turning and leaving Aria's room to go play in her bedroom.

Once her door was shut again, Aria went back to her phone, she checked the battery, seeing it was at 54%, she decided she might as well plug it in and would go on her laptop for a bit. Aria sat up on her bed, plugged in her phone and then got up and walked over to her computer desk and turned on her laptop, while she waited for her laptop's lock screen to pop up, she sat down in her computer chair. Once her lock screen popped up on her laptop, she entered her password and then waited for a couple seconds while her laptop unlocked, she smiled at the picture that was the background on both her phone and her laptop, it was a picture of her and Sonata together. Once everything loaded, Aria went to one of the games she had on her laptop and began to play it once it loaded, most of the games Aria liked were action-adventure or survival-horror games, but, she did have a couple games on her laptop that were for Sonata, since she let Sonata use her laptop sometimes when her phone was charging. Over in Sonata's room, Sonata was currently playing with some of her little toy horses she kept in her room, but, most of them were downstairs in her playroom which was in the basement and downstairs, Adagio was currently looking for something in the pantry and deep freeze that she could make that evening for supper.

*2 HOURS LATER*

It was now 3:17pm and Adagio was just starting supper, she'd decided to make Baked Pecorino Chicken with an Apple Chicken Salad, since she knew it was something Sonata would eat. She always hated having to make meals based on what Sonata would or could eat, mainly because whenever she wanted to try making something new, she had to check and make sure it had nothing in it that Sonata couldn't have because of her anxiety. While Adagio made dinner, Aria and Sonata were both sitting on the couch in the living room, Sonata was watching her cartoons on the TV and Aria was listening to music on her phone and watching the TV with her sister.

*1 HOUR LATER*

"Ok you two can come and eat." Adagio called to her sisters as she got her own dinner and went to sit down in her usual spot at the kitchen table.

"Sonata, go sit at the table and I'll bring yours to you." Aria explained as her and Sonata walked into the kitchen.

"Ok." Sonata replied, walking over to sit at her usual spot at the table.

"I see you both calmed down since our little argument earlier today." Adagio stated, beginning to eat her supper while Aria got hers and Sonata's.

"Don't bring that up." Aria replied flatly, glancing over at Adagio for a second as she finished getting hers and Sonata's supper on their plates.

"Fine. I won't." Adagio sharply said back, Sonata looked between her two sisters while they talked to each other, hoping they wouldn't start fighting.

"Ok, there you go." Aria said to her younger sister as she set her plate down in front of her and then moved to sit in her normal spot on the table, which was between her sisters.

"She seems happy." Adagio said a couple minutes later after they'd all began eating.

"Yeah, she is." Aria replied, glancing over at Sonata for a second and then going back to eating her dinner.

Adagio went back to eating her own dinner, not really wanting to say anything that would make Aria get mad or protective over Sonata. She kind of wanted to bring up the earlier argument they'd had that day but Aria'd told her not to, then she thought to herself since when do I listen to what Aria says. I don't care if talking about it makes Sonata upset or not, it needs to be addressed so she looked back up and went over in her head about what to say and how to say it for a couple seconds before she started to talk.

"You must've got her calmed down pretty good after our little argument earlier then. I thought she would've been really upset still, but clearly she's not. Speaking of which, about the argument earlier today, why does she get so upset when I ask her something personal?" Adagio explained, asking nonchalantly why Sonata got so upset about personal questions.

"Adagio, I told you not to bring that up." Aria sneered, looking up at her older sister and shooting her a 'don't you dare' look.

"I don't care what you say, I want to know the answer to that question and I want to hear it from her." Adagio stated flatly, pointing to Sonata who was busy eating a piece of her chicken while watching her sister's argue.

"No. She does not have to tell you anything. She doesn't want to talk to anyone about personal things except me, what part of that is so hard for you to understand?" Aria replied shortly, instantly growing protective of her younger sister who was watching them, she got a little upset about Adagio bringing the subject about personal questions up.

"Aria, I said I wanted her to answer me, not you." Adagio stated, raising her voice slightly.

"Adagio, I already told you, she won't answer that question and you know that, it's personal between the two of us and neither of us will tell you why." Aria explained again, keeping her tone relatively the same so it wouldn't freak Sonata out.

"What's so bad about me knowing the secret you two have? Why is it so crucial you keep it to yourselves?" Adagio asked again, she was now done her dinner and was just arguing.

"Because, you won't get it. She doesn't want you to know and I don't either for that matter because you won't care." Aria answered flatly, looking over at Sonata for a second to see if she was ok, seeing she was since no one was yelling at the moment.

"No. That's not why, the only reason is because you don't want me to know how to break through the stone of your heart and break through the Aria who doesn't care about anyone." Adagio replied, pointing at Aria to get her point across.

"What do you mean? Ari cares about me. Right?" Sonata asked, looking to her older sister to make sure she was right.

"Of course I care about you Sonata." Aria answered softly, her tone instantly changing because she was now talking to her younger sister.

"Yeah you do. But Sonata, haven't you noticed that your the only one Aria cares about? She doesn't care about anyone else except you." Adagio explained, trying to get Sonata to understand.

"Yeah, I noticed that." Sonata quietly replied, looking away from her oldest sister.

"Sonata, she's playing you, she doesn't actually care about you. She just pretends to so you won't whine or complain all the time." Adagio explained, making up the fact, she knew it wasn't true but she knew Sonata might believe it, as long as Aria stayed quiet.

"That's not true and you know it's not Adagio." Aria flatly replied, narrowing her eyes at Adagio, she wanted to do something to her but not while Sonata was around.

"Ari you love me right?" Sonata asked, mainly just to make sure her older sister was right and not her oldest sister.

"Yes Sonata, I love you. You know that, I tell you everyday." Aria softly answered, turning to look at her younger sister, smiling at her once she was done talking.

"Prove it Aria, prove you love her." Adagio said from behind Aria.

"I don't have to, she knows I love her." Aria replied again without turning to look at Adagio.

"Yeah, I know she loves me. She doesn't have to prove to me that she does." Sonata added, stating she trusted that her older and protective sister was telling her the truth.

"You two are useless." Adagio said, getting up, taking her plate to the sink and then leaving the living room.
