Chapter P: どこは東京ですか?

By: RedtheDestroyer

The world was silent for the first four seconds, then a great big blue swirling vortex appears on a face on a mountain side. A single scream pierced the wilderness before a noticeable thud interrupts the scream abruptly.

All wildlife around seem to stop what they were doing momentarily to stare at the odd creature. Laid sprawled on the green grass was a simple purple horse. But unlike most horses, she had a six centimeter horn growing out of her skull. Her eyes flutter open adjusting to her darker surroundings before a soft moan escaped her lips.

She gets up appearing to be stiff all over from the fall. The purple horse shakes her body ruffling any loose dirt stuck in her mane and tail. Her baby blue eyes stares past her into the forest around analyzing her surroundings one last time. She briefly recalled her last set of memories: she wanted to test out a new spell, something went wrong in the process, and her she was stuck in some other place, maybe in Equestria.

The purple horse turned around to find the hole she came out of, but didn't see the portal anywhere. She heavily sighed before trotting forward into the forest....a possibly dangerous forest.

"ここはどこ?" (Where am I?) The purple horse asked to herself. "なに? !" (What?!) She paused staring horrified in one place for a split second. ‘That can't be right. I'm sure I speak Equestrian.’

The purple horse decides to try something out to confirm her suspicions. "紫色のピクルスの味が悪い。" (Purple pickles taste bad.)

‘Well, that confirms it. I talk in a completely different language now for some reason.’ Her mind had drifted off to thinking how she could communicate with the other ponies if the language barrier became an issue. She was too busy to notice a twig snap not far from where she was.

A second snap of a twig caused her ears to jerk slightly and swivel around her head. "誰がいるか。" (Who is there?)

She turns around paying more attention to her surroundings this time. A slight rustle of the leaves then the figure moves. She grit her teeth against the growing fear pinned against her chest. "悪魔を出てくる!" (Come out devil!)

The rustling stopped as the figure must have waited a few moments to debate its options before stepping out in plain view. The creature was bipedal and had odd black clothing around its entire body. It had a single blade sheathed to its back, yet it never used it. Instead, it had an odd gadget in it's left hand. A tiny piston of sorts. It never spoke only coming closer to the horse.

The unicorn backed up not sure how to approach this. The bipedal grin pulling the trigger on the small gadget of sorts. A small pain briefly entered her body before she collapsed on the ground with a small thud.

She tried to keep her eyes open, but the temptation of sleep was too much for the unicorn causing her to fall in deep sleep. The figure sighed relief washing through him. He pulls out a rope from his bag strapped on his back. He ties the string around the purple horse, almost with care.

"確かに今日は幸運だった。" (Sure got lucky today.) The man said under his breath. He briefly grunts before using his back to pull his reward with him.

Some time passed before the purple horse woke up in a different place then before. The place she was in was surrounded in wood with one locked wooden gate from the outside. The hard dirt floor had hay laid all around the area making it somewhat bearable to lay in.

She got up feeling all her muscles burning irritation of her weight, yet the purple unicorn pulled through. Standing up made her able to see things much better. On the top of the wooden fences appeared to be metal bars two feet high all around the purple horse. There seemed to be other rooms like this one, but they were empty. Her ears swivels around picking up footsteps to her right. The purple unicorn turns her right immediately to the right to see two bipedal creatures she has never seen before.

The first creature, was ahead of the other one, has blue jeans on with a standard white t-shirt that hugged his muscular form quite well. He seemed to be older than the creature behind him and had a bit of grey in his brown short hair. The last creature looked younger but still had a mature look to him. He has long sleeve grey shirt with dark blue jeans, and had slightly long hair than the other creature did.

They approach her while talking amongst themselves. “彼女がどれくらい売れるか。” (How much does she sell for?) The older creature asked in his deep voice. I was a bit surprised I could even understand this language from these other beings, but by now I was trying to find an escape route in mind.

“馬は40万円です。” (The horse is 400,000 yen.) The younger creature said.

The older one's eyes bug out for a second considering the price before they reach me. His eyes settle onto mine, but they were mixed with a wonder I have not seen before in these creatures. He looked back at the younger creature before stiffly nodding his head. The younger being smiled quite satisfied with his answer.

The young man went to fetch something while the older man leaned against the bars trying to figure out if I was truly real. His smile was almost predatory to me.

The purple horse panicked as it reared up naying loudly. Her horn lit up surprising both men as a magical beam of fire tore through the wood and metal and the older man instantly vaporized in the blast. The spell torn a large hole through the wooden barrier. She took the chance and gallop through the new exit while the younger man seemed to pee himself in fright paralyzed in an odd fear.

The purple horse snorts dismissively at the younger man before looking for another exit. She used her magic again and tore through the house wall with a magical beam. Once the hole was made she exit the building. The being from before in all black was in front of the exit staring at her through his empty black mask. This caused the purple unicorn to pause in her advance. 'It's that guy from before.’

Through her fear, she grit her teeth stomping her front hoof a couple times in irritation. “あなたが誰であれ、私を一人のままにして。” (Whoever you are, leave me alone.)

The man lowered his head his grin still plastered on his face. “あなたは見つけるのが面倒です。私はバイヤーの名前を覚えている良いこと。” (You are troublesome to find. Good thing I remember the name of the buyer.) The masked man said.

I charged my horn up prepared to attack if needed. “あなたに警告した。” (I warned you.) The horse replied her horn glowing brighter.

She released a form of flash bang around her causing the masked man to cry out and cover his ears. The purple horse gallops off away from the hole she made disappearing into the thick forest line.

The masked man swore after a few seconds before pulling pulling put a device in his pocket. “マスターは彼の賞を取り戻す必要があります。” He sighs. The device beeped softly showing a white dot on the blue screen of a map. “私は後で馬を見つけることができます。 私のマスターは決して再びアキトと交渉する必要はありません。” (Master needs to reclaim his prize.) (I can find the horse later. My master never has to negotiate with Akito again) The masked man replied coldly entering the gaping hole of the building.

The purple horse galloped for miles away nonstop. Once felt a safe distance away her gallop turned into a trot before she decided to lean against a tree for a moment. ‘Who was that thing? What are they anyway? This place makes no sense. Our history books don't mention anything about these creatures.’ Then a realization overcame her. 'The spell had worked after all. It sent me into a different world, but now I can't get out of here. Especially with these bipedal beings trying to to capture me for who knows what else.’

She brings herself to her hooves trots forward searching for any sign of civilization, yet she cautiously watches her surroundings just in case more bipedal creatures tried to ambush her. That's when she stumbled upon a clearing in the forest just up ahead. Her curiosity got the better of her, so she trotted up into the clearing. The scent of the air swiftly changed into a nastier stench causing her to gag for a few seconds in surprise.

She looked from side to side of her and fund a long black strip of brick like substance on the ground. Confusion crossed her expression not understanding what the asphalt was used for. The purple horse decided to follow the strip upwards. The unicorn noticed that Luna's moon seemed to be out and no sign of life seemed to stir. She eventually came up to a green sign reading: 東京へようこそ!素晴らしい滞在がある。 (Welcome to Tokyo! Have a wonderful stay.)
