A certain student of friendship feels concerned about what happened when Cozy Glow took over the school. She goes to the pony whose job is to listen.

(Spoilers from School Raze!)

Although the magic has returned to Equestria and Cozy Glow is locked inside Tartarus, everything should be back to normal. One friendship student felt really guilty about the recent events even though she had nothing to do with it. So she goes to the School of Friendship's guidance counselor to talk about her problems.

I should be ashamed of myself!

Starlight Glimmer was sitting on her desk in her office while sipping some hot tea. It has been a few days since she was trapped inside some magic bubble and she just wants some time to relax. It wasn't till she heard knocking from the door.

"Come in!" Starlight said as she prepared herself for another counseling session. The door opened to reveal a dark blue pegasus mare with long green manes. She slowly entered the office and approached towards Starlight's desk.

"Um, hello Ms. Glimmer." the dark blue pegasus mare said in a quiet tone. "I'm Gloom Caster."

"Please, you can call me Starlight!" Starlight said with a smile. "You can take a seat if you want."

"Thanks," Gloom said before she sat down on the couch.

"So what can I do you for?" Starlight asked. Gloom stammered for a few minutes as she tried to find the right words to say.

"I want to talk about what happened when the magic in Equestria suddenly disappeared."

'Oh boy' Starlight sighed before she replied, "You can say what's on your mind."

Gloom took a deep breath before she started, "At first, I thought everything was going to be okay when Princess Twilight and her friends went off to solve the problem. Then Cozy Glow told everyone that you went with them and she was in charge."

'That little brat' Starlight thought before she continued to listen to Gloom.

"I felt a bit concerned as she was just a filly but I didn't question it as she helped with the school so much that I was among the students who gave her a chance. Then Chancellor Neighsay arrived and made himself Head Stallion of the school. I felt scared as Neighsay was against everything Princess Twilight stood for when it comes to friendship. Luckily, Cozy Glow convinced the students that Neighsay was not fit for running the School of Friendship and we were able to trap him."

'I would pay so much to see that.' Starlight chuckled.

"Everything should have been almost okay until Cozy showed us the underground pathways that led us to where you were trapped. It was then we saw the other creatures and Cozy convinced us that they were responsible for the draining of Equestrian magic." Gloom suddenly started to choke up and tears started to form from her eyes.

"We didn't even hesitate to throw the other creatures in the circle just because Cozy said so!" Gloom whimpered. Starlight used her magic to offer Gloom some tissues. Gloom took some and wiped some tears off.

"Those other creatures had been here as long as we have and I didn't see them cause any harm to any pony. Yet, I let my judgement get clouded just because a silver tongued filly said so. I feel so stupid!" It was then Gloom started bawling from all of the frustration she held inside.

"Shh, it's okay." Starlight said as she went up to Gloom and patted her back. "Just let it all out."

"H-How can the other students just continue to attend this school without realizing that we were just as bad as Neighsay and we fell under Cozy's control! They are not worthy to attend this school! I'm not worthy to attend this school!"

Starlight took some time to process this while Gloom calmed down from her crying.

"I understand how you feel." Starlight replied. "I should've been more cautious with Cozy before she trapped me in that bubble. Thanks to me, I let two bad ponies take over the school before Twilight came back. I can relate to you when it comes to making mistakes."

"I know," Gloom wiped away some tears. "that's why I'm leaving this school."

"What?" Starlight grew concerned. "Why would you do that?"

"This school is meant to teach friendship and make sure the lessons are taught to make it stronger. I failed to remember those lessons and just went with the norm. I think it would be best to leave to prevent anymore problems to this school."

Starlight sighed as she had never dealt with this kind of problem before while being a guidance counselor.

"One thing about friendship is that mistakes can be made. Not every creature will agree on the same things and aren't willing to make some compromise. As long as you learn from it, it will allow you to figure things out and come up with solutions. If you really feel this way, then I think the best course of action would be to apologize to the other creatures. Even though you made some kind of mistake, apologizing shows that you thought about what you have done and be willing to do anything to make up for it. It's a good start. Whatever you want to do, I'll support you. But make sure you follow what your heart says." Gloom felt better after hearing Starlight's words. Gloom got up from the couch and made her way to the door.

"Thanks Starlight," Gloom said.

"I'm always here." Starlight replied. Gloom closed the door and flew across the hallway. It took some time before Gloom found the Student Six at the courtyard. It was easier for Gloom as those six students were together. Gloom landed on the grassy ground before she took a deep breath. She slowly trotted towards the Student Six and she grew more nervous. Silverstream was the first to spot Gloom.

"Oh! Hello there!" Silverstream said. The rest of the group turned to Gloom, making her even more nervous than before.

"H-hi," Gloom smiled a nervous grin.

"Do you need something?" Gallus asked. It took awhile before Gloom took a deep breath before she spoke.

"I'm Gloom Caster and I just want to say I'm sorry." Gloom said as she bowed her head. The group looked at each other with confused looks.

"For what?" Ocellus asked.

"For assuming that you all stole the magic from Equestria just because you guys were different from me. I let that Cozy Glow make me believe that so she can make herself look innocent. I don't speak for the rest of the students, I only speak for myself and myself alone." It wasn't till Silverstream came up to Gloom and gave her a hug.

"Ah, it's alright!" Silverstream patted Gloom's head. "We forgive you!"

Gloom blinked a few times. "Really?"

"Yeah," Smolder snorted. "Cozy Glow really had a talent of brain-washing ponies even without magic. We were a bit peeved but at least Cozy got what she deserved."

"Yona glad blue pony said sorry." Yona said.

"Thanks," Gloom said before she turned around. "guess I'll see you then."

"Do you want to hang out with us?" Sandbar asked.

"No," Gloom replied. "I got one last thing to do." The Student Six waved at Gloom before she went back to her dorm room.

After a few hours later, Gloom was standing outside of the school with her saddle bags packed with her stuff. She wanted to look at the School of Friendship one last time before she left.

'Goodbye School of Friendship, I hope you can do better without me.' Gloom said in her mind. Gloom then turned to fly away from the school, hoping that she will somehow make up for it.
