A tall olive-green stallion sporting a white beard and brown markings on his coat sat in the confined space of his laboratory, writing down a page of notes on a miniscule notepad while keeping an eye on a medium-sized test tube filled with a questionable bioluminescent liquid. He was dressed in a white lab coat on top of a turquoise dress shirt, and wore a pair of brown pants. The stallion’s horn ignited with magical light as he encased the glass container in a lime-green aura and levitated it closer to his face. He took hold of a small silver rectangular device and switched on the recording button.

“Log 35: September 23rd, 8:45 P.M. I’m currently on day five in experimenting with test subject TL-67. I had concocted a highly viscous liquid composed of hydrogen, water, and a very small dosage of radiation. It seems that the radiation’s properties are causing the liquid to give off a strong bioluminescent glow. I don’t know what to make of this strange phenomenon, but I will say that it is quite fascinating. The experiment is far from finished, therefore I must continue with further testing. It is my priority to determine whether TL-67 is safe enough to be used for the betterment of ponykind.”

The unicorn switched off the device and set it aside, carefully placing the test tube inside a glass container. The elder scientist let out a weary sigh as he locked the container in his desk’s drawer and took off his lab coat, hanging it up on the coat rack next to the door. He glanced at a portrait of a younger version of himself wrapping his hoof around a speckled brownish-orange mare adorned with a sparkling diamond-encrusted fedora. The two ponies in the portrait wore massive smiles on their faces. There was a sticky note hanging on the bottom of the frame that read “No matter what happens, never forget to always keep a big smile on your face. I love you, Cobalt.”. Cobalt smiled a bittersweet smile as he put the portrait down, still combing through his mind for pleasant memories.

“We’re one step closer to achieving our goal, Glamour. It won’t be long before we’re able to cure terrible diseases, stengthen defense forces, brighten ponies’ faces, and in general make the world a safer and happier place.” He softly spoke, wiping a single tear from his cheek. Cobalt gathered himself and walked out of the laboratory, locking the door for the night. Walking down the hallway, the elder scientist casually glanced at the wonderful artwork the Fillypines Science Departments building had to offer. It wasn’t long before Cobalt found himself meeting a light violet Earth pony mare sporting a raspberry-colored mane.

“Hey, dad.” Spoke the mare as she gave Cobalt a sweet smile.

“Sugar Spice! I thought you were supposed to be on your way to Appaloosa.” Cobalt said.

“I was, but the train broke down and by the time the engineers got it back up, the station had closed for the night.” Sugar replied.

“This is quite a surprise, but a welcome one to be sure. I bet you’re tired and hungry. Your house?”

***

“So, a little bird told me you have your eye on a special somepony.” Cobalt spoke while wearing a teasing grin on his face as he levitated a spoonful of chopped cauliflower into his mouth. He smiled even more when he saw Sugar turn red as a apple after hearing his words.

“Ah... uh, I see him at my job almost everyday. I mean, he’s pretty good looking for... for a pegasus. But, uh... I’m not really into him. Yeah.” She said. “Do you want me to get you something to drink, dad?”

“No, I’m fine. Say, have I told you about how your mother and I met?” Cobalt asked.

“More than I’d care to admit.” Sugar replied with a giggle. A high-pitched beeping suddenly rang out from the kitchen, grabbing Sugar’s attention.

“Oh, damn! The pie’s burning!” Sugar yelped as she rushed to the kitchen and opened her now smoking oven, quickly putting on a pair of mittens and grabbing a sizzling apple pie out of the oven. Cobalt couldn’t help but quietly chuckle at the minor mishap. Cobalt was about to aid his daughter when he froze to the defeaning sound of thunderous tremors. The tremors seemed to be in tune to a rhythmic beat; it was slow and evenly paced rather than jarring. They sounded more like giant footsteps than a simple earthquake. All of a sudden, the tremors just stopped. Cobalt cleared his throat as he nervously sank into his chair. It became eerily quiet, there was no hint of noise coming from anywhere. Not even the kitchen. Sugar cautiously peeked her head out of the kitchen, glancing at her visibly disturbed father.

“Dad? Are you okay?” She asked. Sugar shrieked as a absolutely massive silver scythe stabbed into the concrete roof and slashed it open like it was merely paper. The wicked weapon lifted back into the unknown, leaving the terrified equines confused. Without warning, the roof was violently ripped wide open. Sugar and Cobalt’s eyes widened as they were greeted by a enormous nightmarish-looking mechanical Titan glaring at them with a pulsating crimson visor that took the place of optics. A large serrated blade-like crest jutted out of the beast’s head, followed by a single row of hooked forward-facing spines that lined the top of the Titan’s head and led all the way down to the bottom of its neck. Three silver segmented titanium-alloy fins jutted out of the beast’s back. The Titan’s armored body was a black and silver pallette, sporting violet bioluminescent lights dotting the mech’s chest, torso, neck, and head. The beast’s frame was also adorned with red stripes that wrapped around its entire body. The Titan’s insectoid mandibles retracted into tiny ports near its silver beak as it slightly opened its beak, revealing rows of sharp teeth and glowing crimson lights inside. The Titan let out a shrill metallic screech that forced Cobalt and Sugar to cover their ears.

“WHAT IS THAT THING?!” Sugar yelled. The mechanical Titan’s left scythe split in two and began to unravel itself until it reformed into a clawed grappling device. Before Cobalt and Sugar had the chance to run away, the Titan aimed its wicked appendage at Cobalt and Sugar, firing the grappling claw at them. The two terrified equines were hopelessly locked in its grasp.

“AGH!!” Cobalt and Sugar screamed as the Titan retracted the claw back into its arm’s socket.

“I CAN’T MOVE!!! WHAT DOES THIS THING WANT WITH US?!” Sugar screamed.

“Listen to me, Sugar! We’re going to be just fine!” Cobalt exclaimed. The Titan’s visor split into four sections, revealing a optical sensor sitting in the center of the metal facial plating. The sensor flickered to life as it projected a harmless transparent widespread laser that slowly paced up and down while thoroughly scanning Cobalt and his daughter. After a long moment, the laser dissipated after the two equines heard a series of low-pitched beeps casually going off. The Titan’s visor reformed back into one piece as the metal colossus turned its head to glance at the sky. The mech’s shoulders opened up as two cube-shaped laser pointers popped out, firing a pair of long-range homing beacons straight into the sky. The laser pointers retracted into their ports as the mech’s shoulders closed shut. For a moment, Cobalt wondered what was the purpose of the beacons. He found the answer when four bright bioluminescent lights, followed by the thunderous roar of engines, impaled the clouds and forced Cobalt and Sugar to shield their eyes. Descending from the sky like a hungry bird of prey, a massive silver ship sharing resemblance to the dagger-like tips of a cragged mountain landed right in front of the Kaiju. The ship’s main doors evenly split in two as what appeared to be a sort of extraterrestrial unicorn draped in white and black garments stepped outside, glancing at the giant mech and its captive.

“Hello, professor. Oh, and hello to you too, Miss Spice. I see you both got aquainted with Gigan. I assure you, he’s a people person.” The visitor said with a smug grin. Gigan knelt down on his right kneecap, bowing before the extraterrestrial in a way akin to a servant bowing to his king.

“Who are you? What do you want with us?!” Cobalt demanded.

“I have many names, but I’m particularly partial to Xerxes. Now, to answer your first question, I had Gigan fetch you two because... my people need your help to, uh, complete a project.” Xerxes replied. Cobalt gave a questionable look at Xerxes as he briefly glanced at Gigan.

“Do we have a choice?”

“Well, I would give you a choice.... But then if I did, you’d most likely report to your authorities and that would cause a bit of a problem for me, would it? Now, you and your gorgeous daughter will have to come with me on the ship. No questions asked, please.”

“Listen, I’m not sure who you are... But from what I just seen, I know your “project” isn’t going to be used for benevolent reasons.”

“Oh, really?”

“We’re not going to cooperate with you. You’re up to something... diabolical, I just know it.”

Xerxes simply chuckled as he waved a hoof at Gigan in a calm manner.

“Gigan, change their minds.” Xerxes ordered. Gigan chirped in a sadistic way as his right scythe began to shift and interlock until it formed into a huge plasma cannon. Gigan took aim at Sugar’s house, relishing the reverberating sound of his weapon humming to life as a glowing ball of plasma began forming at the tip of the cannon’s nozzle. A massive concentrated beam of pure energy shot out of the cannon with explosive force, rocketing towards the house. Right as the plasma smashed into the porch, it triggered a enormous explosion that took out more than half of the surrounding neighborhood.

“No...” Sugar gasped, tears welling in her eyes as she watched her hometown burn. Gigan threw the two equines into the ship as he turned to Xerxes.

“It’s simple. You help me with my project, or I’ll simply kill you and just slaughter more innocent ponies. It’s your choice.” Xerxes nonchalantly stated with a chuckle. Cobalt sighed in dismay as he looked at his daughter.

“Fine, we’ll do it.” Cobalt answered with disdain in his voice.

“Good. Gigan, patrol the area and make sure you get rid of anything that interferes with my ship. Oh, and take Megalon with you. You could use the extra muscle.”

Xerxes grinned as a large port on the side of the ship opened up. A second mechanical Kaiju walked out of the entrance, taking a gander at his new surroundings. Unlike Gigan’s sleek appearance, Megalon sported a extremely muscular build. He heavily resembled a beetle, possessing a split armored carapace that protected his wings, large golden bug-like optics, a segmented mouthplate, insectoid mandibles, and a silver prolonged horn-like crest that ended in a star-shaped tip. Megalon’s chest was segmented to make room for a glowing golden orb that sat in the center. The beetle-like titan’s heavily armored body was a muddy brown color while his carapace was a gold color mixed with black markings. Much like Gigan, Megalon didn’t possess hands. His arms ended in huge segmented drills ending with a frill of spiny tips at each segment. Gigan let out a short screech before activating a pair of thrusters located just above his thighs, taking off into the skies. Megalon unfolded his carapace and unfurled two massive synthetic wings, taking off after Gigan. With the two cyborgs off to wreak havoc, Xerxes closed the ship’s doors and led Cobalt and Sugar down the hall.

“AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!” Rarity screamed as she smacked her hoof on the leathery talons of a colossal and highly ravenous Roc that had just snatched the white unicorn right out of the cliffside of a island where she and most of the Main Six were trekking.

“AAAHHH!! LET GO OF ME YOU HORRIBLY BARBARIC FOWL!” Rarity screamed. Twilight and Rainbow vigorously flapped their wings as they raced towards the enormous avian while swerving around huge stone pillars jutting out of the vast ocean in a rush to rescue Rarity.

“We’re coming for you, Rarity! Hang on!” Twilight yelled as her horn ignited with a raspberry glow. The lavendar alicorn fired several concussive magical projectiles at the Roc in a effort to force it back. Her attacks only barely scratched the monstrous fowl and merely served to arouse its ire. The Roc screeched in annoyance as it leered towards Twilight and Rainbow, snapping its jagged beak at them. The two airborn equines flew out of the way, circling the Roc madly like a couple of angry flies. The gargantuan avian snapped at Twilight, each attempt earning him a nasty sting from the alicorn’s magical projectiles. Pinkie Pie, Spike, and Applejack were following the Roc on foot as they made their way to the edge of the cliff of a nearby island. Pinkie whipped out her party cannon and jumped in the nozzle, throwing Spike the match.

“Light the cannon!” Pinkie yelled.

“Are you serious, Pinkie?!” Spike exclaimed.

“Just do it!” She yelled. Spike opened his mouth and puffed out a small gust of emerald fire on the match, using the flaming stick to ignite the cannon’s fuse. With a resounding Boom! Pinkie shot straight into the air.

“WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!” Pinkie chimed, diving towards Rarity. The Roc swung its left wing in a upward motion, smacking Pinkie off course.

“WELL THAT’S JUST PEACHY.” Pinkie exclaimed before plunging into the ocean below. Twilight’s horn ignited with magic as she teleported herself right in front of the talon holding Rarity.

“Grab my hoof!” Twilight yelled. Rarity grabbed Twilight’s left hoof as she and Twilight teleported a few feet from the Roc.

“Thank you so much, Twilight...” Rarity said with relief. The Roc screeched angrily and prepared to charge at the two equines when it had suddenly turned its attention to a enormous rapidly rising black mass just under the water’s surface.

”SKREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGK!!!!!”

Godzilla exploded out of the water with tremendous power, clamping his jaws on the Roc’s left leg before it could even react. The giant bird screeched with pain and surprise as it began vigorously flapping its wings, smacking the saurian in the face with them in a attempt to force him to let go. Godzilla snarled as grabbed hold of the Roc with his claws while sinking his teeth further into the bird’s leg. The Roc screeched as it tried burrowing into Godzilla’s skull with its beak. However, Godzilla’s rough diamond-hard scales prevented the Roc from delivering a solid blow to the saurian’s cranium. With a much more high-pitched screech, the Roc began flailing its talons at Godzilla’s face with hope They would strike the saurian’s amber eyes. Godzilla snarled in annoyance as he kept jerking his head back to avoid getting his eyes gauged out by the furious avian. The Roc finally managed to pull its leg out of Godzilla’s jaws and swerved around the reptile, readying his talons to strike Godzilla once more. With a deep growl, Godzilla grabbed hold of a stone pillar and ripped it off its foundation. Godzilla swung his new bludgeoning weapon at the Roc with excessive force, sending the avian sprawling into several more pillars. The Roc shrieked as the broken pillars collapsed on top of it, pinning the avian into the water and threatening to pull it down into the ocean’s depths. Godzilla threw his weapon away and walked towards the downed fowl with murderous intent.

“SKREEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!” Screamed the Roc as it darted into the sky with a flap of its wings. Outstretching its talons, the avian grabbed hold of Godzilla’s head and neck as it pulled the reptile to and fro while letting Godzilla collide into several jagged pillars. Before long, the Roc finally released Godzilla from its grip, watching the saurian collapse into the water after his very unpleasent rollercoaster. The Roc screeched as it dived towards Godzilla with great speed, however it was so focused on targeting the reptile’s head, the avian didn’t notice Godzilla rising out of the water and getting into position. Godzilla roared angrily as he swung his tail at just the right moment, sending the Roc spiraling into the nearby beach with excessive force. The Roc screeched as it hurried to get airborne, barely getting a foot off the sand as Godzilla began manhandling the feathered beast. The Roc took several more jabs at Godzilla, trying desperately to break free of his grip. Godzilla simply snarled as he clamped his jaws on the Roc’s neck, sinking his teeth into its flesh. The Roc screeched even louder as it struggled to pull itself from Godzilla's grip. Godzilla snarled as he increased the pressure of his jaws on the avian until he finally heard a bone-chilling crack. The Roc had suddenly gone limp, its body now lifelessly dangling from the saurian's jaws. It wasn't until a few seconds later that Godzilla realized he had finally managed to kill the bothersome monster fowl.

“WHOOOOOOOOO! YOU GO, BIG G!” Rainbow yelled out in excitement. Godzilla snorted a reply and dived into the water with the Roc’s corpse in tow, deciding it would make a decent meal for the trouble it caused.

Fluttershy softly hummed a tune as she handed out chicken feed to the hens strutting around her hooves. She nearly burst out laughing when one of the hens rubbed itself on her foreleg in a effort to goad the pegasus to give out extra food. The hens getting all cutesie on Fluttershy was one of the better parts of her morning. And it shows how intelligent her chickens are. About an half hour in, Fluttershy finished feeding the rest of her animals and trotted back inside her cottage. Exhaling a slightly forced breath, Fluttershy tiredly sat down on a wooden rocking chair. She ran her hooves down the smooth muddy-brown handles of the chair, countless memories flowing through her mind. A bittersweet smile creeped up on her face as she sat back in the chair. She had used this rocking chair to calm down a much younger and smaller Godzilla whenever he got too cranky. Fluttershy softly chuckled to herself as she began recollecting those moments.

-He would always fall asleep in my arms whenever I’d cradle him in my chair.- Fluttershy thought to herself. She let out another sigh as she reached out and took a portrait from the little table next to the rocking chair. The picture itself showed Fluttershy holding a infant Godzilla that had his big golden eyes locked on hundreds of butterflies flying over their heads. It was the very first time Godzilla had witnessed the Great Butterfly Migration. Fluttershy placed the picture back on the table, getting up. Now that Godzilla is far too large to live with her in the cottage, Fluttershy’s only companion was Angel. Or at least he was up until he sadly passed away from old age just ten months ago.

At this point, Fluttershy was alone in her cottage with no infants or grumpy rabbits to care for. The pegasus can still vividly picture the day Godzilla had came into this world. It truly felt like he was born only yesterday. Fluttershy opened a window and leaned on the window frame, watching a couple of sparrows fly by. She took notice of the feint outline of the beach just miles away. She doesn’t travel to the beach often unless it’s to spend a day with the other six or pay a visit to Godzilla. Though given the fact Fluttershy had finished her morning chores and is currently looking for a way to stave off the loneliness, there isn’t many options aside from paying Godzilla a visit. Fluttershy closed her windows and trotted out of the front door, unfolding her wings and taking off into the sky.

“Ack! Easy, Twilight! My cuts are still fresh!” Rarity yelped while Twilight began pressing large silky bandages plastered with medicinal ointment to help close the numerous cuts the white unicorn received from tangling with the Roc.

“I’m sorry, Rarity. I have to push the bandages in your wounds in order for the ointment to work.” Twilight said. Spike and Pinkie had been spending their time exploring the beach while searching for seashells hidden beneath the rough sand. Pinkie dug up several large holes with the speed of a crazed hummingbird, flinging a handful of conch shells and piling them up in a huge pile.

“Look at all these shells I found! Now we can stay up all night and listen to the ocean in each one of them!” Pinkie said with a giant smile on her face.

“Jeez, that’s a lot of shells.” Spike said, scratching the back of his head. In the corner of his eye, Spike had spotted Fluttershy landing just a few feet from the group.

“Oh my goodness, what happened!?” Fluttershy gasped as she ran towards Rarity, immediately looking over the gashes in her sides.

"It's nothing to worry about, darling! I, uh, got in a bit of a disagreement with Opalescence this morning..." Rarity lied as she smiled through her pain.

"Opalescence's claws are not large or even sharp enough to do this amount of damage, Rarity." Fluttershy replied as she helped Twilight apply ointment on the more larger gashes. The pegasus swore she heard Rarity mumble something about "Fluttershy and her animal knowledge" under her breath as she worked on the wounds.

"Well.... We were ambushed by a Roc while hiking today..." Twilight confessed. "But thankfully we had help in... driving off the Roc."

"Help?"

As if on cue, the water began to ripple wildly as the Main 6 glanced at the ocean to see Godzilla's dorsal spine's shoot out from the water at blazing speeds. Within moments, Godzilla made landfall on the beach, dropping the Roc's corpse on the sand before taking a glance at the seven comparatively tiny multi-colored creatures looking at him.

"Uh... surprise?" Spike almost sheepishly said. Godzilla opened his jaws in a short yawn before taking interest in the giant dead bird in front of him, busying himself in ripping into the carcass and hungrily scarfing down huge chunks of flesh and feathers.

"So, that's the Roc that attacked you?" Fluttershy asked. Rarity simply nodded.

"Indeed, Fluttershy. I'm just thankful that Godzilla was coincidentally in the area when that beastly avian tried to make a meal out of me and, well, the rest of us. If it weren't for his timely arrival, we'd all be bird food by now." Rarity said. Fluttershy watched as her adopted "son" of sorts scarfed down his kill. The pegasus gazed her eyes on the gruesome scars on the saurian's gills and snout that had remained long after his brutal fight with Ghidorah. After nearly thirty minutes, Godzilla had reduced the Roc's carcass to nothing but bloodied bones and bits of feathers. Licking his blood-smeared snout, Godzilla let out a deep guttural grumble before half-submerging himself into the water. He acknowledged Fluttershy with a soft grunt as she landed on his snout and proceeded to gently run her hoof down his nostrils.

"Hey, Fluttershy, we're going finish up at Rarity's house. You coming?" Twilight asked.

"I'll catch up with you girls later. I want to stay with Godzilla for a while." Fluttershy replied. Twilight smiled as she nodded and led the rest of the group out of the beach. Fluttershy turned her gaze down to Godzilla's golden eyes, leaning back on his forehead.

"We have some catching up to do, big guy."

Godzilla always enjoyed being in Fluttershy's company. Call it natural instinct or genuine enjoyment to be in one's presence, it didn't matter. Today was the perfect day to spend time with his mother figure. The sky was clear, the wind was gently blowing with a soothing elegance, the air smelled crisp and fresh. Best of all, there was nothing big or dangerous that would get in the way of this special moment. Godzilla strolled down the forest, dwindling the trees with his enormous size. To the woodland creatures far below the titan's view, he was a walking mountain. A colossus unaware of the tiny creatures sitting far below his feet that live out their lives on a daily basis. Fluttershy sat on the saurian's head, a wide grin on her face as she witnessed a flock of sparrows fly just above her head. The best part about sitting on top of Godzilla’s head was the mere fact Fluttershy was able to see everything from where she sat. The Evergreen forest couldn’t have looked more beautiful than it did now. A sparrow hovered in the air as it took a long gander at Godzilla, chirping with curiosity. Godzilla snorted a cloud of steam at the bird’s face, sending the little avian spiraling madly in mid-air.

“Hey, that’s not nice, Godzilla.” Fluttershy softly scolded the reptile in a serious tone. The sparrow simply shrieked at the saurian before fluttering off. Godzilla just grumbled, feeling very little remorse for his actions towards the sparrow. He hated birds of all sizes mostly because he finds their chirping to be irritating. Godzilla lifted his snout in the air, catching a unfamiliar scent. He bared his sharp teeth as he let out a deep, guttural snarl. Catching the strange scent from the updraft of the wind, Godzilla went into a state of alert. Fluttershy almost immediately took notice of Godzilla's change in behavior, fluttering her wings and hovering down towards his snout.

"Godzilla, what's the matter?" She asked, turning around to see where the saurian was gazing. Just a few inches away, Fluttershy spotted a large clawed footprint embedded in the muddy ground. Her eyes widening in surprise, Fluttershy anxiously floated next to Godzilla's head. It clear that Godzilla wasn't the only Kaiju roaming the Everfree.

"Why did you really come to Equestria? What do you want from us?" Cobalt asked in a angry tone right before one of the Nebulan guards sharply poked him with his spear.

"Professor Cobalt, I must be completely honest with you... We came to your planet because we were in desperate need of a new home. My people, the Nebulans, have been travelling the cosmos for almost ten thousand years after our planet was destroyed by a intergalactic Kaiju." Xerxes replied. Cobalt furrowed his brow in response to the answer.

"If you wanted to simply find a new planet to colonize on, why didn't you land on a unpopulated planet then?"

"Because it's more fun to kill the previous dominant species of a planet and take over their world. Plus, your planet seems to be the only planet in this solar system that nearly matches our home world's environment and conditions."

"What?! Y-You mean to tell me that you plan to-"

"Tut, tut, tut, professor. I haven't killed you or your pretty daughter yet, haven't I? I done some research on this mudball before arriving and turns out you are quite the scientist and technician. You're important and that means you can help me achieve my goal."

Cobalt looked at Sugar before casting a angered look upon Xerxes' smug face.

"I won't help you destroy ponykind, Xerxes." Cobalt stated firmly.

"Is that so, professor?" Xerxes asked, motioning two other guards to seize Sugar.

"AAAHH! DAD!!" Sugar screamed in surprise as the guards dragged her away.

"SUGAR, NO!" Cobalt screamed. "Where are you taking my daughter?!"

"She'll be safe so long as you agree to my terms. Help me with myBut, if you refuse.... well, it won’t be pretty for your pretty little daughter.”

Cobalt growled under his breath, knowing there wasn’t any other option.

“Fine.”

“Excellent! Follow me!”

Xerxes led Cobalt towards a large labratory decked out with several long tables and shelves filled with bottles, devices, and gadgets of all kinds. Sitting in the center of the room was a large and bulky triangle-shaped device with a silver cylinder-shaped nozzle poking out of the panel located on the roof of the machine. Solar panels dotted the upper half of the machine while radar dishes jutted out from the sides. In the center of the device sat a bioluminescent keyboard located inside a panel just below a wide-screen monitor. The device itself stood on five spider-like legs that seemed to curve backwards at the tips.

"This little beauty is called the "Daybreaker." Don't mind the name, it doesn't actually break anything. This device was supposed to be able to create artificial power via absorbing the light from your sun. With the Daybreaker, we could provide your people enough energy to power your cities for centuries. Unfortunately, we lack a power source to activate it." Xerxes said, turning to Cobalt.

"I ask you, as a friend, if you would please fix this problem for me. My top scientists are otherwise engaged in other matters at the moment."

"If we finish this device for you, will you let me and my daughter go?"

"I'll keep my end of the bargain if you'll keep yours."

Cobalt scratched the back of his head before letting out a heavy sigh. He looked at Xerxes and hesitantly lifted his right hoof towards the Nebulan.

"It's a deal." Cobalt said. Xerxes happily shook the unicorn's hoof, walking out of the room.

"Happy day, happy day indeed! I'll leave you two to it, then. It would be so very rude of me to keep you distracted from your task. Ta-ta for now, my friends!" Xerxes said, closing the door behind him. A Nebulan soldier approached Xerxes with a illuminated spear in hoof.

"Lord Xerxes, the fleet is ready for deployment. We will launch whenever you give the word." The soldier said in a gruff tone. Xerxes' face morphed into a sinister grin as he rubbed his forelimbs together.

"Excellent. We'll give these fools a surprise they'll never forget..."

Godzilla was on very high alert, walking around the forest while baring his sharp teeth. His gold-amber eyes darted around the environment. The saurian had lifted his head, his nostrils detecting the creature's scent. The kaiju was very close now. He could almost feel its presence. Godzilla immediately took notice that the trees around him and Fluttershy reeked with the creature's smell. It was clear Godzilla had inadvertently stumbled upon another kaiju's territory. Without any warning, Godzilla suddenly felt the wind knocked out of his stomach as a brownish-grey blur smashed into the saurian with surprising speed. Fluttershy yelped as she frantically fluttered out of Godzilla's range as the saurian flopped onto the ground. Godzilla snarled as he lifted his head, getting a good glimpse of his attacker. The Titan in question was a Ankylosaurus-like creature. The Ankylosaurid Titan angrily paced back and forth on four powerful legs, its curved claws carving into the ground. The Angilasaurus roared as it opened its sharp alligator snapping turtle-like beaked jaws, revealing rows of huge sharp teeth. As the massive creature circled Godzilla, it began swinging its head aggressively, brandishing the crown of curved backwards-facing horns that curled upwards at the tip. A large curled nasal horn jutted out from between the Angilasaur's nostrils, giving it a somewhat rhino-like appearance. The armored Titan sported two large horns jutting out right above its eyes as well. The Titan also sported a long spikey tail that had a large bony thagomizer tipped with deadly spikes at the end. The most prominent feature of the Titan was the massive bony carapace fused to the creature's back. The carapace was heavily armored, completely covered in huge, razor-sharp spines that served as additional defense and a extra weapon against any would-be attackers.

"SKREEEEAAAAAOOOOOOORRRR!!!" The Angilasaur roared, charging at Godzilla once again. This time, Godzilla was ready for the kaiju and grabbed hold of the Angilasaur's head, lifting the creature into the air and slamming him back into the ground with a powerful seismic toss. The Angilasaur roared in dismay as it flailed about on its back. Godzilla lifted his left foot and stomped on the Angilasaur’s stomach, knocking the wind out of the kaiju. Right as Godzilla prepared to stomp on the Angilasaur a second time, the armored kaiju swung its tail at the saurian and struck his leg with the tip of its thagomizer. Godzilla roared in pain as he was brought to his knee, snarling angrily as he turned his head just as the Angilasaur leaped on the atomic theropod. Godzilla was violently thrown to the ground as the Angilasaurus bit down on Godzilla's arm while trying to claw at the saurian's snout.

"SKREEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOONNNNGGGGGKKKK!" Godzilla roared, punching the Angilasaurus in the face and forcing the armored titan to release its grip on him and back off. Godzilla quickly stood up and grabbed the Angilasaur in a chokehold, lifting the armored reptile into the air and slamming him into the ground. The impact of the slam had severely damaged the ground under the two Titans, causing the entire cliffside they were standing on to shatter and take the Titans down with it. Godzilla roared as he tumbled down the cliff, smashing into the ground below along with the Angilasaurus. Fluttershy flew in a panic as she rushed to the edge of the cliff and peered down. To her immediate relief, Godzilla had emerged from the cloud of dust while shaking bits of rock from his body. Without warning, the Angilasaurus lunged at the saurian with its jaws wide open. However, Godzilla saw him coming and whipped his tail around, knocking the spiny Titan into the ground with a well-aimed blow.

"SKREEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOONNNNGGKKKK!!!" Godzilla roared angrily. As the Angilasaur struggled to right itself, Godzilla clamped his jaws on the titan's neck, sinking his teeth into the creature's scaly skin. The Angilasaur thrashed around violently as it tried to free itself from Godzilla's grip. In a impressive show of strength, Godzilla lifted the Angilasaur into the air and lobbed the titan into the cliffside with enough force to shatter the cliff even more. The Angilasaur groaned weakly as it wobbly stood up, looking back at the saurian Titan. It was definitely bruised and looked like the beast’s pride was damage as well. But there was something else in the armored Titan’s eyes. It wasn’t anger or hatred, but the way the Titan was looking at Godzilla, it was almost like it was admiring him. After a few moments, the armored Titan walked off, leaving the two alone. Godzilla snorted as he watched the spiked Titan leave, turning his gaze towards Fluttershy, who was now deep in thought.

"If there's another Titan roaming around the Everfree, Twilight needs to know immediately..." Fluttershy said to herself, unfurling her wings and taking to the skies. She had to get to Ponyville fast and warn Twilight.

Twilight walked around her library, magically lifting and shelving books in their proper place while humming a little tune. Spike was dusting off the shelves and making sure the books were properly organized and in their correct spot. It was then that the sound of hooves frantically knocking on the crystalline door managed to finally rip Twilight's attention away from the book shelves.

"I'm coming." Twilight said, walking towards the door. As she opened the door, Fluttershy had walked into the castle with a almost terrified expression on her face.

"Fluttershy? What's with the freaked out look on your face?" Twilight asked.

"I don't mean to barge in, but I have some, um... exciting news. Well, the sort-of bad kind of exciting." Fluttershy responded.

"Bad kind? How bad is it....?"

"There's another Titan species out in the Everfree forest. It attacked Godzilla while we were walking through the Everfree, but he drove it off."

"Okay, what did the Titan look like?"

"It was big and spiky. Its tail had this big club at the end that was covered in long spikes as well."

Taking in this newfound information, Twilight walked towards one of the plethora of bookshelves in her library, her horn encasing itself with raspberry-colored aura as she levitated a large scarlet red notebook towards her before settling it down on a table.

"It's a good thing Celestia tasked me to study and catalog new species of Titans. I've already discovered seventeen new species in the last three years. Well, seventeen and counting. Who knew there'd be so many species residing here in Equestria?" Twilight said, flipping through the notebook.

"Let's see.... Titanus Gojira, Titanus Ghidra, Titanus Mosura... Ah! Here, Titanus Angilas." Twilight said, showing Fluttershy a rough sketch of the Titan along with a page full of facts and other information.

"That's it, that's the Titan." Fluttershy stated. "Titanus Angilas, huh?"

"This is all the notes I compiled while studying this creature. There's a lot of information that I still need to collect, but I was able to observe a bit of a Titanus Angilas' behavior and it seems they are herbivorous Titans that like to graze in open grasslands. Now tell me, you said this Titan attacked Godzilla?" Twilight said.

"Yes. It was really scary too... It just jumped out of the trees and tackled Godzilla like a pro-wrestler. I never seen any bulky animal possess such speed and agility." Fluttershy responded. Twilight immediately got to writing down new notes on the page with haste.

"Hmm... attacked Titanus Gojira.... jumped out of the forest.... Okay! I have a couple of theories. The first one being that Godzilla unintentionally trespassed on the titan's territory and it was just defending its turf. The second theory is a little bit more interesting. I think that Titanus Gojira and Titanus Angilas have something of a natural rivalry between the two species. Think of it as the relationship between predator and prey going up a level or two. If I compare the rivalry between Titanus Gojira and Titanus Angilas with a rivalry like that of lions and hyenas, then I can come up with the conclusion that these two species share a relationship that extends beyond that of simple predator and prey." Twilight explained with a matter-of-fact tone in her voice. Twilight giddily closed the notebook and put it back into the shelf, grabbing a quill and a blank scroll.

"This is amazing! We're collecting so many fascinating information about these creatures! I can't wait to report in our findings to Celestia!" Twilight exclaimed, barely holding in her excitement. Fluttershy giggled to herself as she watched her friend excitedly began writing on the blank paper. After a few moments, Twilight rolled up the scroll with one of her seals, standing up from her chair.

"Spike! I need you to send a letter to Princess Celestia. It's urgent."

Celestia sat in her golden throne right next to Luna's, leisurely sipping a cup of tea as the two sisters discussed their day. It had been a very long day of signing paperwork and attending meetings for the two diarchs. It was just about time to sit back and relax for the rest of the afternoon.

"I hear your meeting with the mayor of Neighpon went well." Celestia said.

"Trust me, sister. "Well" is an overstatement. I would much rather face a fully-powered Tirek than attend a meeting with him again." Luna said, stifling a laugh under her breath. Celestia leaned back on her throne, glancing at one of the stained glass windows depicting a portrait of all four Alicorn princesses standing side-by-side.

"Lulu, do you remember the last time all four of us had gathered together just to relax and talk?" Celestia asked.

"I don't recall any, Tia. I presume we're overdue for a spa day." Luna replied with a quiet laugh. Celestia smiled at her sister's remark, only to be distracted by a flash of green light and the sudden appearance of a floating scroll.

"Oh, Twilight sent us a letter." Celestia stated, opening the scroll and reading it thoroughly.

"What does it say, Tia?" Luna asked.

"Hmm, Twilight says Fluttershy discovered a new Titan species. How interesting." Celestia said, closing the scroll.

"Another Titan species? Now that's a surprise." Luna stated, taking another sip of her tea.

"Well, we still don't know much about these creatures. There was something about a Hollow Equus theory a scholar brought up to me about a year ago. If that is true, there are more Titans hiding in the depths of our world." Celestia spoke. It was then that another scroll had magically appeared before the diarchs. Strange.

“Another scroll? This is odd.” Celestia said. But before she could read the scroll, the doors leading to the throne room suddenly burst open as a couple of guards frantically ran towards the two princesses.

"Your Majesties! Forgive us for the abrupt manner of this visit, but you must come outside immediately!" One of the guards exclaimed. Celestia and Luna looked at each other before immediately rushing out and following the guards outside the castle walls.

It was, in other words, a very eventful day. Hundreds of Nebulan spaceships began descending on countless Equestrian cities like the citizens were bearing witness to a sci-fi alien movie coming to life. Some squadrons made landfall near Manehattan and Neighpon, others had invaded smaller cities like Cloudsdale, Appaloosa, Dodge Junction, and Rockville. Most of Equestria's borders and cities had been overrun by the Nebulan armada, in just two hours at most. Several fleets had surrounded Canterlot on all sides, the ships deploying countless squads of Nebulan soldiers on the city's streets. Before the royal sisters could process what was going on, the door to the throne room was blasted open as several Nebulan soldiers marched in while shooting down all of the Royal guards. Celestia and Luna ignited their horns in preparation for battle, only to have the large ensemble of soldiers surround the two alicorns with their weapons aimed at their faces.

"What is the meaning of this invasion!? Who sent you?" Celestia growled before turning her attention to a holographic screen appearing in front of the two sisters. On the other end of the video feed, Xerxes was casually sitting on a large chair while rubbing his hooves together akin to a James Bond villain.

"That would be me. Greetings, princesses. I am Xerxes, your new overlord. In the next, say, seventy-two hours, your beloved Equestria will be under my domain. I understand you two are incredibly powerful beings that will oppose my inevitable rule. So, I ordered my men to take a visit to this lovely castle and dispose of you both." Xerxes stated wearing a smug grin on his face.

"Listen to me, foreigner and listen well. I do not care who you are or how vast your army is. As long as blood runs in my veins and air flows through my lungs, you will never take away our home." Celestia replied with anger dripping from her tongue.

"Mhm, we'll see about that. Kill them." Xerxes ordered before the holographic screen dissipated in thin air. The Nebulan soldiers advanced towards the two sisters with their weapons drawn. Immediately, Celestia and Luna charged their horns to full power before unleashing volleys of magical projectiles at the soldiers. Luna would leap in the air, bucking a Nebulan soldier with the force of a battering ram using her left hind leg, sending the soldier flying into the wall. While the two sisters were busy contending with this particular batch of soldiers, more began flooding in the throne room through the windows and rooftop. It was clear Celestia and Luna were not going to overpower the overflowing number of Nebulan soldiers even with their might. As Luna and Celestia were backed into a wall, one of the soldiers aimed his spear at the two alicorns, a growl escaping his throat.

"By order of the Nebulan empire, you are under arrest.'

Meanwhile, chaos had broken out all over Ponyville. Dropships had begun obliterating several buildings while the residents frantically ran about in panic as the Nebulan soldiers were flooding the town and apprehending whatever ponies they could. A squadron of Nebulan soldiers were busy chasing down a group of young fillies when several raspberry-color magical projectiles halted the soldiers dead in their tracks as Twilight rushed into the fray. Rainbow and Applejack followed close behind, immediately rushing at the Nebulans and dispatching them with several furious bucks and punches.

"Go, get to safety!" Twilight yelled at the fillies whilst wrestling a Nebulan to the ground. It was a odd sight seeing Twilight manhandle a Nebulan to the ground, but then again enhanced physical strength was one of the perks of being a alicorn. Wrapping the soldier underneath her hooves in a aura of magic, Twilight levitated him in the air and launched the soldier at his cohorts, sending them all tumbling into the ground.

"Twilight, there's too many of these guys! We're not gonna be able to hold them off forever!" Rainbow exclaimed while she landed a brutal blow to a Nebulan's skull with her hind legs.

"We have to hold them off as long as we can, at least until help arrives! I had Spike deliver a warning to Celestia when the invaders attacked! Celestia isn't responding, and I'm worried something happened to her!" Twilight exclaimed. The roar of foreign engines caught the alicorn's attention as Twilight and the two mares looked up to see several Nebulan aircrafts hovering over them with their weapons locked and loaded.

"Blow those equines to hell!" A Nebulan roared. But, luckily for the three mares below, a neon blue thermonuclear heat beam smashed into one of the aircrafts, completely obliterating it in a single shot.

"ONE OF OUR AIR SUPPORT IS DOWN! WHAT THE HELL JUST-"

"SKREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNGGGGGGK!!!"

As if by some miracle, Godzilla showed up on the scene just in the nick of time, most likely having been drawn to the commotion instigated by the Nebulan invaders. The saurian Titan let out a ear-shattering roar, casting a dark glare at the hovering alien aircrafts above him.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!"

"I DON'T KNOW, JUST SHOOT THE DAMN THING!"

At once, the aircrafts began pelting Godzilla with neon green bullets, forcing the saurian to use his arms as shields to block the energy-based projectiles. They didn't injure him by any means, but the stinging pain brought on by the projectiles angered Godzilla even further. Godzilla roared before swatting one of the aircrafts out of the sky with his hand before grabbing another in his claws. With a snarl, Godzilla clamped his jaws on the ship, crushing the aircraft in his teeth before ripping it apart. His dorsal spines igniting with blue light, Godzilla opened his jaws and unleashed a barrage of nuclear fire at the assaulting ships in retaliation, obliterating several ships in one go. Flaming husks of alien dropships plummeted into the ground as Godzilla completely massacred the Nebulan fleet. From down below, Twilight, Rainbow, and Applejack watched with relief and excitement as Godzilla dispatched the fleet with relative ease.

"HELL YEAH! Now that's what I call a entrance!" Rainbow exclaimed.

"Ya gotta hand it to Goji, his timing couldn't be more perfect." Applejack spoke.

"Alright girls, while Godzilla's handling the fleet, let's get to Ponyville square and help Fluttershy rally the residents to safety." Twilight said, turning around to head to the heart of Ponyville. However, a high-pitched metallic screech caught the trio's attention right as Gigan rocketed towards Godzilla, ramming the saurian in the gut and sending him tumbling into the ground. Godzilla roared as he slammed into the floor, quickly sitting up just as Gigan landed a upward kick to the Titan's face with immense force. Godzilla was knocked into a daze by the kick, shaking his head as he stood up to face the metallic Titan before him. Godzilla snarled and charged at Gigan, only to be halted as Megalon rushed at the saurian Titan and shoulder barged him in the torso. Godzilla was shoved back, though retaliated with a tail whip to Megalon's face, sending the beetle-like cyborg Titan sprawling into the ground. Brandishing his scythes, Gigan let out a metallic screech as he circled Godzilla, who seemed to do the same.

"C'mon, Twi! We gotta get to the others! Goji's gonna buy us time!" Applejack exclaimed. Twilight nodded and ran towards Ponyville centre with Rainbow and Applejack following close behind.
