Twilight and her 5 best friends get a chance to play in a physics sandbox, Lulz ensues.
Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Applejack, all together in a physics sandbox where they're essentially invulnerable, what could possibly go wrong?
Twilight Sparkle instantly appeared on a gray concrete platform. Before her lie a huge green field, and to her left lie a hill of grass with two skyscraper buildings perched upon it. Seemingly connected to the hill was a brick building with an entrance large enough to fit the largest of chariots. To her right lie a huge lake with a concrete platform jutting over a part of it.Soon, her friends began to appear, including Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie. All six ponies held a hefty looking tool that looked like giant cylinder with 3 spikes that were bent at one end, pointing towards a center point of the item. The front of it looked like it was powered by a blue light source,
"My dear, this is one of the most ugliest I've seen in my entire life!" Rarity said to the group of friends while pointing the wierd looking cannon upwards, "Were the designers of this thing completely oblivious to the looks of it?" Rarity added on, then Rainbow came over and poked Rarity,
"Come on Rarity, you don't have to be all Mrs. Critic about everything" Rainbow Dash said to the Pearl white unicorn,
"I know, but why should I have to lug such an ugly piece of equipment around with me all the time?" Rarity questioned,
"Look, Twilight spent 10,000 bits getting us in here, so don't be nitpicking it" Rainbow Dash replied angrily, "Now come on Pinkie, let's go have some fun" Rainbow said to Pinkie with a hint of evil, then zoomed away with the strange cannon on her back. Pinkie soon bounced behind. Twilight Sparkle soon headed over to the giant lake and tried to figure out how to use this strange machine. On her left hoof lie a square looking computer that showed a picture of a chair. Twilight set the cannon down on the ground next to her, then tapped the chair on the screen with the tip of her hoof. With a small sound, the chair materialized in front of Twilight. Out of curiosity, she went over to this chair and poked it few times. Surely enough, it was a legitamate wooden chair. Twilight tried to move this near her strange cannon, but it seemed too heavy to even budge from moving by hoof. Puzzled, Twilight went back to the cannon and picked it up. This thing had two levers: One poking out the left side, and could be spun around, and the other could be moved toward any direction, similar to a joystick.
On the grass hill with the skyscrapers stood a blue Pegasus and a pink earth pony chasing each other like little fillies, only Rainbow Dash held an upside down dumpster with her cannon above Pinkie as she ran away from her chasing friend. Both were lauging like crazy as Rainbow ran quickly with the cannon in her mouth as it held the dumpster by a simple beam of light. As Pinkie tried to get away, she ended up almost colliding with Rarity who was heading towards what looked like a dark hallway entrance in the drywall wall that surrounded the entire area. When Pinkie had her near-miss with Rarity and collided with the wall, Rainbow Dash just threw the dumpster against the ground, encasing Pinkie in it, and creating a loud THUD on the ground. Using her wings, she somehow flew through the walls of this Dumpster and peered half of her body into the dumpster,
"Gotcha Pinkie!" Rainbow said to the pink earth pony who was still lieing the ground. She giggled a little bit as Pinkie woke up and noticed the prison she was encased in, then saw her cyan friend with a gleeful smile,
"Good one Rainbow!" Pinkie said cheerfully to Rainbow, then the two shared a long laugh until someone pulled at Rainbow's tail, sticking out of the other end,
"Rainbow Dash! Get out here right now!" Rarity yelled after pulling at Rainbow's tail, hoping she would hear her,
"Ugh, if it isn't miss fun-ruiner, I'll take care of her" Rainbow said irritated,
"But can you get me out of here first?" Pinkie requested,
"Sure thing, Rainbow said then began to fly backwards to get the front end of her body out of the dumpster, used the cannon to lift the dumpster up a few feet, let Pinkie trot out, and forced it back on the ground with another THUD, "Rainbow Dash, you know you could have KILLED someone with that thing now, right?" Rarity began to lecture, "And you shouldn't be chasing around your friends, you're a young mare now, Dash, and you should really be..." Rarity continued as Rainbow just made the head motion of making her look like she was saying "blah blah blah..." until Pinkie butted in,
"MY TURN!" Pinkie cheerfully said as she picked up the dumpster and chased Rainbow away from Rarity with it. Rainbow just trotted away as fast as she could until she stopped next to one of the skyscrapers and stuck her tounge out at Pinkie as she chased her with the dumpster,
"Ugh, when will she learn..." Rarity said with annoyance then continued on her way. However, as Rainbow was just standing there, she bolted away at the last second, when Pinkie threw the dumpster on the ground around where Rainbow Dash originally was. Rainbow was now on the roof of the brick building and Pinkie was still in hot pursuit. However, just as she approached the edge, she spread her wings and made an expert glide down to the ground, but instead of landing solidly, she accidentally went below the ground into what looked like a black area,"Hm, that's wierd" Rainbow said to herself, the flew up just enough so her head poked out of the ground, then bolted right back onto the solid ground as Pinkie forced the dumpster where she saw Rainbow's head sticking out. Rainbow just turned her head around and stuck her tounge out as she ran onto a platform over the lake that Twilight was building, then fell into the water. Twilight just shrugged at what she had just saw, until,
"LOOK OUT TWILIGHT!" Pinkie screamed as she ran, holding the dumpster as she trotted off of Twilight's platform, and into the water. Twilight darted out the way once she noticed the dumpster Pinkie was carrying into the water with her. When Pinkie was in the water, she noticed Rainbow lieing on her back, seemingly suspended in the water, while sticking her tounge out at Pinkie. Pinkie of course threw the dumpster down where she notice Rainbow suspended, only to create another thud in the lake.
Rainbow zipped back up to the surface, shook some of the moisture off of her, then continued to move very quickly as soon as she noticed the dumpster rise out of the lake. As Pinkie continued her pursuit, Rainbow ran up a small flight of stairs onto a roof of another building that the other ponies hadn't known was there. As Pinkie slowly closed in, Rainbow realized that this would be her "end" as she stood on the edge of the building seeing as if she tried to glide, she could end up stuck under the world. A few seconds later, Rainbow Dash was enveloped in the darkness of the dumpster,
"Gotcha!" A cheery voice said from behind one of the walls,
"Yeah, you got me good!" Rainbow replied as she giggled slightly,
"Hey girls, what's going on here?" The familiar voice of Twilight Sparkle asked from behind the wall,
"Oh we were just chasing each other around with this dumpster!" Pinkie gleefully responded. Rainbow just flew out of the dumpster through the wall and landed right next to Pinkie,
"And what was that platform you had over the lake?" Rainbow inquired,
"Oh I'm just trying to learn how to use this cannon" Twilight said while motioning toward Pinkie's cannon, which was lying on the ground, "Don't know what I'm trying to make" Twilight added on,
"Well you can join us if you want" Rainbow Dash stated,
"Yeah! Dumpster tag's always fun with 3 ponies!" Pinkie added on cheerfully,
"No thanks, I'm good myself" Twilight responded,
"It's super duper fun!" Pinkie excitedly stated,
"I'm sure it is fun, but I'm good" Twilight replied, then turned around and headed back down the small flight of stairs and back to the small platform she was working on,
"Alright Pinkie, guess who's IT!" Rainbow Dash interjected as she picked the dumpster back up and resumed chasing Pinkie Pie down the flight of stairs, and towards the brick building. However, while Rainbow was running, she somehow turned the dumpster on its side as she ran, so when Pinkie was cornered, and Rainbow Dash threw the dumpster down on the ground, she accidentally crushed her friend. As soon as Rainbow realized this, she immediately trotted over to her seemingly dead best friend,
"...Pinkie?" Rainbow Dash said to the corpse, then poked it on the face a few times, "Pinkie?" Rainbow Dash asked with a small croak of sadness. Just then, the corpse was gone in a split second, "PINKIE!?" Rainbow screamed to the spot where the corpse was, coming to the realization on what just happened. Just as Dash was about to break down,
"Hi Rainbow Dash!" Pinkie cheerfully said with a smile on her face, when Rainbow turned to see her friend Pinkie Pie, fully intact, standing right in front of her,
"Wait... How did you..." Rainbow stuttered trying to put the puzzle pieces together, then finally came to a realization, "Ooooh, so that's why he gave us these weapons with our cannons..." Rainbow said to herself as she drew the SMG that came with the assortment of tools and weapons that was given to them before being teleported to this area. Suddenly, both Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash gave each other an evil look, "It. Is. On." Rainbow said evily to her friend.
As Rainbow Dash got closer to Pinkie Pie's face while keeping the SMG aimed as an evil look stood on her face, Pinkie slowly walked backwards, then broke out in a sprint for cover as Rainbow began to open fire from the automatic firearm. Once Pinkie had found herself some cover, she drew her own SMG, that looked just like Rainbow's. She immediately hopped from behind the wall and returned fire. Rainbow quickly sprinted backwards as she added to the bullet storm firing at Pinkie, then hid behind the brick wall. After reloading, she could hear Pinkie trotting quickly toward the exit. Just at the right time, Rainbow whipped back around from behind the wall, then sprayed bullets at Pinkie's face until she fell limp, and slid toward Rainbow with her eyes closed. Rainbow couldn't help but giggle a little, even though she had just "killed" her best friend. Rainbow soon headed out onto the green field, until she could hear bullets zooming by within close proximity, so Rasinbow began to trot up the grass hill to her left, Pinkie still firing as she followed. Rainbow had seen the shady looking entrance implanted in the drywall, so she hid there hoping for cover. However, she was greeted by a decent sized flight of stairs,
"She'll never find me in here!" Rainbow said to herself as she proceeded towards another room entrance at the bottom. Once Rainbow had gotten to this area, she found that it was blocked by a giant, heavy door. She immediately began to hear the sounds of what sounded like some sort of laser gun firing continously. Out of curiosity, she banged on the door a few times, "HELLO? ANYPONY IN THERE?" she yelled into the room, hoping someone was in there.
In a dark room lit by artificial lamps, an orange earth pony quickly perked up nervously hearing someone banging on the door, "Keep. your mouth. Shut" Applejack nervously thought to herself once she was broken from the concentration of building something. After a few more knocks, there was the sound of rapid gunfire, then a familiar voice followed,
"Gotcha Rainbow!" Pinkie said cheerfully from the other side of the door. Applejack tried so hard not to make a sound as she heard the pink pony leave the area, so she could resume building. In her hooves lie a strange looking tool looking like it was made from a revolver. On the top lie a circuit board with wires jutting off of it in every direction, and a screen that displayed the word "MOTOR" in marquee text. Applejack caarefully aimed this tool at the center of what looked like a giant wooden wheel, fired it, creating a laser gun type sound, then percisely firing on a corner of a large rectangular object.
"Alright Pinke, I know you're around here somewhere..." Rainbow Dash said to herself as she snuck around on the concrete in front of the brick building, when suddenly,
"LOOK OUT BELOW!" Screamed a hyper pink pony as she dropped in from the vents in the roof of the building. Rainbow opened fire as her friend fell into the building, then lay limp on the ground in front of her,
"Rainbow Dash!" A very familiar voice scorned nearby, Rainbow just rolled her eyes, knowing who it was, "Have you gone phsycotic!?" Rarity questioned angrily at the cyan pegasus,
"No, we're just having fun!" Rainbow replied annoyed,
"Killing you're best friend with a GUN!?" Rarity questioned,
"Jeez, lighten up a bit, you can't ACTUALLY die in here" Rainbow defensively replied,
"I know, but it just scares me to think that you would find fun in murdering other ponies, now why don't you..." Rarity continued as Rainbow just made her "blah blah blah"" face and slowly went off to continue battling with Pinkie Pie. As the two started running around the flat, grassy area, Rarity just sighed and moved along. The two unloaded rounds on each other like crazy, until Pinkie Pie started heading towards the hilly grass area just to their left. With Rainbow having survived the longest, all of her ammo was gone from the SMG. She had been slightly tired from all the running around she had done since she had entered this place, so she stopped and pulled out her crowbar as Pinkie trotted away,
"I have to kill fast and BULLETS TOO SLOW!" Rainbow yelled to herself as she held her crowbar up with glory, then darted off after Pinkie. As the Rainbow contrail followed almost the entire drywall, Rainbow swooped upwards, lunged her crowbar back, let herself drop, and just as Pinkie was right below her, WHAM! right in the back. As Pinkie turned around in suprise, Dash quickly dove into the water, hoping she could suprise Pinkie again. However, when Rainbow looked down from the surface, there was the Pink Pony holding a crossbow loaded with an orange-hot bolt, suspended by a balloon. Caught by suprise, Dash was pinned against the wall by one of these bolts, and everything went black.
Within seconds, the vivid scenery of the area filled Rainbow's eyes, and she had to get her barings until she could head back off into the warzone that Pinkie and Rainbow had turned the area into. As Rainbow trotted slowly across the plain, she noticed the famous pink mare jump out of the water, then shake herself off. Just as Rainbow was about to sneak attack Pinkie, she was stopped by a lavender unicorn,
"Hey Rainbow, what gives with you two shooting each other?" Twilight asked to the rushed pegasus,
"We're just having a little Pony vs. Pony gun fight" Rainbow answered until Pinkie came trotting up to the pair, until she was stopped by Twilight's hoof,
"I mean, look what you've done to the place! And I've been trying to build for hours now, and you two just won't give it up!" Twilight said getting a little mad,
"Come on Twilight, we didn't mess it up that..." Rainbow Dash turned around and noticed the vast array of bullet holes and blood stains scattered around the plain and walls of the brick building, "...bad" Rainbow said dissapointingly once she realized the mess,
"Now, I've been trying to build my fort for forever now, and can I ask that you two do something a little less crazy?" Twilight requested as Rainbow Dash sat her flank on the grassy area, until coming up with a brilliant idea,
"Twilight! I have an awesome idea!" Rainbow yelled to the lavender unicorn,
"No, I am not going to ride you while you do a sonic rainboom, you remember what happened last time we tried that" Twilight skeptically replied,
"No! Even better! You know how youre building a fort?" Rainbow Dash asked excitedly,
"Yeeah?" Twilight quizzically responded,
"Why don't me and Pinkie build our own forts using the two buildings, and we have a gigantic war!" Rainbow Dash excitedly stated while flying right in front of Twilight's face, then sticking out her hoof requesting a brohoof,
"Hmmm, doesn't sound like the brightest idea, but I'll try" Twilight said trying to accept Rainbow's hoof, but somehow went right through Rainbow's,
"Oh, sorry" Rainbow said as she let herself fall to the ground, the Twilight could smack hooves, "Pinkie? You in this?" Rainbow asked to the pink mare who sat a little distance away, but soon bounced over to the two and smacked her hoof into the mix, "Alright, lets do this!" Rainbow said competitively, "...unless you can teach us how to use the cannon..." Rainbow said then busted a fake smile.
After a quick physgun (official name for the cannon) tutor session, both Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie were off to build their own forts. After what seemed like hours of experimentation and scrolling through the spawner console on her left hoof, Rainbow Dash created a shabby little base out of the brick building. On the roof were two 2x4 metal plates tilted at an angle so Rainbow could duck behind them when needed, and on the ground were two abnormally long poles coming from the roof down to about eye level, and turrets (mounted guns that could be activated by buttons) on four sides. Behind it lie more angled plates for Rainbow to defend from.
Meanwhile, Pinkie's fort was something completely different. She had fenced off every possible outside entrance (but was unaware that the nearby skyscraper connected to it) and had turrets hanging from poles off the roof. Pinkie stood in the two small cut windows with an SMG beared. Twilight's fort however was simple a bunker type shell made out of assorted colored binders from her prop spawner. Rainbow couldn't stop laughing when she flew down to see Twilight's fort,
"*Laughing softly* Did you happen to 'forget something?'" Rainbow jeered to the Lavender unicorn,
"Oh you just wait and see how effective this will be" Twilight stated through the small window she had made in the bunker,
"Is your defense *snicker* a KNOWLEDGE BARRIER!?" Rainbow said as she fell on her back laughing uncontrollably. Twilight just rolled her eyes and said,
"Like I said, just wait and see" Twilight stated again. Once Rainbow could control herself, she told Twilight,
"Alright, when my hoof goes down, the fights begin, okay?" Rainbow said imperitavely to Twilight,
"Gotcha" Twilight responded as Rainbow sprinted off the go tell Pinkie the same news.
Everyone was situated in their forts, and Rainbow Dash held her hoof high above her barricade on the roof,
"READY!?" Rainbow yelled out to the rest of the place. Just as Rainbow was about to drop herself, a few quick shakes came from the entrance to the staircase area implanted in the drywall. All three ponies looked toward this area as the shaking grew louder and more quickly...
All three ponies stared toward the source of the loud rumbling as it grew louder and louder. This seemingly endless loop went on for about 10 more seconds until a spectacular explosion of random objects such as refrigerators and furniture randomly appeared and spread everywhere with a loud bang, and emerged one of the craziest vehicles of all time. This machine was made of garage doors stacked horizontally, wooden wheels moving it, a sofa as its seat, wooden bookshelves, barrels, telephone poles, a huge pony statue, and all other things that would never make up a real car. Boarding this crazy machine was an orange mare wearing her signature stetson. Above all the noise,
"YAAAAAAY HAAAAAAAW!" Applejack screamed from the sofa she sat upon as the "car" went down the hilly grass slope and down towards Pinkie's fort, Rainbow had an aggressive response toward this. Drawing the RPG from her assortment of weapons, she took exact aim at Applejack, the fired and quickly ducked behind her barricade. However, she was unaware that the RPG was laser guided, so instead, of knocking out Applejack's vehicle, the missile turned around and exploded right behind the barricade, throwing Rainbow on her back, but miraculously not killing her. Off in front of Pinkie's fort, Rainbow could hear not SMG gunshots, but a deep, more powerful automatic weapon firing.
She slowly peeked from behind the barrier, and seeing that the strange vehicle was sitting right in front of Pinkie's base, spawnkilling her every time she respawned. Some gunshots sounded from Twilight's book fort. Eventually, Applejack responded to this by driving straight into the fort sitting the huge automatic cannon through the tiny window. Rainbow still couldn't help but laugh at the fact that this gigantic vehicle was stuck in such a tiny little fort. Twilight simply dove into the lake, taking a few gunshots to her back. She was a little afraid to surface, but could seemingly breathe underwater. Knowing this, Twilight just stayed put underwater until she could hear Applejack's machine turn around and repeat the same camping proccess on Rainbow Dash's base. Rainbow Dash could see the vehicle crash into the fenced barrier that blocked all outside entrance. Gunshots sparked from the other side of the metal barricade. Rainbow quickly pulled a gernade from the weapons, pulled the pin, and rolled it around, hoping it would land on this vehicle. However, one of these gunshots pierced straight into her hoof, but suprisingly not taking it off. Rainbow just hid behind the barricade as she gripped her painstriken hoof,
"Tarnation" Applejack quietly said to herself seeing the blinking gernade land right on the wooden bookshelves that made up this machine. Instinctively, A.J. leaped from the sofa and starting trotting quickly as the sound of an explosion and breaking wood sounded behind her.Rainbow Dash heard the satisfying sound of an explosion and then splintering wood. Poking her head around, all she could see were splinters, the car split in half, and some of the items that had fallen off. Down on the grass area, she could see an orange earth pony with a look of dissapointment. Quickly, she jumped off of the top of the building, and powerfully flapped her wings to keep from smacking with the ground. She immediately trotted over to Applejack, who still stood with a dissapointed look on her face,
"You do know that ah spent this entire time working on that" Applejack said to the cyan mare,
"Well it looks like you're gonna have to try a little harder if you wanna destroy my base!" Rainbow responded with a smile on her face. Applejack sprung up with an idea,
"Hold on a sec" Applejack said slyly, then reached over with her hoof to a button that stood up near her left shoulder. Upon pressing it, The two turrets that Applejack had mounted sprang to life, took aim at Rainbow Dash, and fired rapidly. Rainbow instinctively turned and started trotting toward the lake, but fell limp due to the rapid gunshots. The speed she was trotting at caused her to slide into the lake, her corpse remaining bouyant. A few seconds later, she returned to the concrete platform in front of Pinkie Pie's base. She was happy to see Applejack chuckling into her hoof at Rainbow's humorus death. Rainbow just trotted back up the orange mare,
"The three of us were just about to have a war before insano vehicle came bursting in, you wanna join?" Rainbow happily requested to Applejack,
"Sure thing, but I'll be right back" Applejack stated then quickly began trotting back to the dark area where she had created the vehicle. About 30 seconds later, a very deformed human looking figure with outstetched limbs, its neck sticking straight up in the air was brung out by Applejack. Rainbow Dash stared in disgust and confusion at this messed up "thing",
"Applejack... have all those apples sunk to your brain?" Rainbow Dash said in her aroma of confusion,
"Nope. Just a little NPC Bone Manipulation" Applejack stated,
"That thing... it's... creepy..." Rainbow Dash slowly said while continuing to stare at the thing,
"Oh come on Rainbow, anypony who's been in Garrys Mod at least once before should recognize this" Applejack replied,
"So... you've seen that thing before... wierd" Rainbow tried to reason with the orange mare,
"Yup, I come here just about every couple weeks, you should see the wierd stuff the ponies in the public server crea-" Applejack tried to explain, but was cut off by a certain white unicorn,
"GOOD LORD! APPLEJACK!" A white unicorn yelled to the farm pony, "I've seen you in horribly unsanitary condition, but THIS!? ARE YOU CRAZY!?" Rarity said while motioning toward the messed up NPC,
"Come on Rarity, you know we all can get wierd sometimes" Applejack responded,
"BUt I mean look at it! There's no flow or style to it whatsoever, it's simply..." Rarity started jabbering, but Rainbow Dash just nudged Rarity,
"Hey, don't listen to her, she's just trying to suck all the fun out of this" Rainbow whispered to her orange friend. Both of them just turned and walked away, leaving the white unicorn to herself. Once both Applejack and Rainbow Dash were alone. Applejack went to her spawning wrist console. All of a sudden there was the sound of what sounded like steam leaking behind them. Rainbow quickly turned around and what she saw had to be the strangest thing any pony could ever see in his/her life.
Rocketing towards Dash was a missile made out of watermelons in the shape of a pillar,being propelled by a traffic cone on the back shooting out flames, with none other than the famous pink party pony grasping onto it for dear life. In a matter of centiseconds, the missile met with Rainbow Dash's face, and a massive explosion erupted from the collision point, wiping any living thing that happened to be in the map off the face of the planet.
Rainbow Dash was the first one to respawn, but was immediately killed again by radiation from the explosion. This happened several times before Dash could walk without dieing of radiation, and then Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Twilight Sparkle all respawned simutaneously. Strangely enough, Rarity didn't respond to the incident, considering she knew Pinkie's spastic personality by heart. Everyone was about to resume their own projects until Twilight spoke up,
"Has anypony seen Fluttershy since we got here?" Twilight inquired, everypony shook their head, Rainbow Dash drawing a blank to,
"Well she can't be THAT far away, I'll go find her" Rainbow Dash immediately replied, starting to take off,
"Okay, just get her back safely" Twilight said to Rainbow Dash as began to fly around the map area, looking for any sign of Fluttershy. After a few minutes of searching, Rainbow noticed a bird fly out from one of the top levels from one of the skyscrapers. Rainbow expertly swooped toward the building and poked her head around just enough to see what was going on, and was taken in awe by what her cream colored friend had been doing all this time.
Rainbow Dash landed on the balcony of the top floor and what laid before her very eyes was as bunch of birds perked up on branches hanging from the roof on small ropes. Some pigeons flew around in a pre-programmed loop as Fluttershy stood in a corner, talking to a line of bald monks wearing blue coats. Their hands looked as if they were holding a weapon, but no weapon was there. Around the room there were hanging sticks with different birds on display, naturally pecking at their feet,
"Fluttershy... is this what you've been doing for the past few hours?" Rainbow called to the cream colored pegasus who was still in the corner, who then caught the attention of Rainbow Dash,
"Oh, hi Rainbow Dash, I've been taming these birds ever since I got here, they all seem accostumed to me, like any other animal in Equestria would" Fluttershy explained as a seagull landed on her hoof, risen just to chin level,
"Wait... how did those humans end up here?" Rainbow Dash inquired,
"Oh, I just found those with all the other animals, they keep on saying stuff about 'brother' and 'church' and stuff like that, I was just wondering if you could help me tame them... if that's okay with you" the cream pegasus added on as the seagull resumed aimlessly flying around the big room,
"You know, they're programmed to be that way so you can't really change them" Rainbow Dash responded,
"Okay then..." Fluttershy said quietly, hinding behind her mane a little,
"Come on, Twilight said she has something to show you on the ground" Rainbow Dash said while almost bounding to take off, until some ambient gunshots were heard, scaring Fluttershy to hiding behind her mane, Rainbow quickly looked back, "You okay flutters?" Rainbow Dash asked to the trembling pegasus,
"Those... those noises... they scare me... I don't want to... get hurt..." Fluttershy nervously replied, trailing off at the end
"It's okay Fluttershy, you won't be hurt, nopony here'll ever hurt you" Rainbow said to comfort her cream colored friend, also pulling a fib out of her tail, "Come on, you're gonna be just-" a rocket explosion and more gunfire echoed in the distance, "-fine" Rainbow Dash annoyingly said watching Fluttershy cower behind her mane. Her patience started rapidly decreasing, jumping straight to trying to push Fluttershy out onto the balcony. As the gunfire and explosions continued. Fluttershy was terrified as Rainbow got right under her, held all four hooves, and began to fly tandom toward the main area.
As Rainbow Dash quickly flew closer, the gunfire and explosions got louder, and the engine of some sort of car was heard zooming around the area as continuous gunshots and explosions added to the noise. Once Rainbow Dash had landed on the roof of the brick building, Fluttershy scrambled and cowarded right at the drywall wall, covering her eyes with her hooves, ears flattened, balled up and trembling like a filly,
"Come on Fluttershy, I wanna have some fun here!" Rainbow Dash annoyingly thought to herself hearing the action behind her. Implatiently, she went to her terrified friend and tried to comfort her, "Do you not wanna stay here?" Rainbow Dash asked.
Fluttershy shakily shook her head,
"Do you want me to fly you back?"
Fluttershy nodded. Impatiently Rainbow got Fluttershy in the same tandom position they were in before and quickly got Flutters back to her animals. Once the cream pegasus was safe, Rainbow Dash flew up to the roof of the building. From what she had observed, Applejack was zooming around in an armed beat up jeep while Twilight Sparkle and Pinkie Pie tried to destroy her. While flying Fluttershy back to the skyscraper, Rainbow Dash formulated a plan,
"A Sonic Rainboom should blow their flanks right off the face of the planet!" Rainbow Dash thought to herself. Pumped she quicly trotted off the building and began powerfully flapping her wings towards the area. As her wings started flapping faster than the blades of a helicopter, suprisingly no resistance was felt, but Rainbow kept on accelerating,
"Man, I must be going mach 3!" Rainbow thought to herself as she continued to grow closer and closer to Applejack's jeep, which had moved right in her aim. Preparing for a shear of pain to occur from a collision, Rainbow just flew right through the jeep, and right through the wall on the other side of the closed off area. Slowing down, Rainbow Dash was now in a black void. Looking behind her, she could see the area she had just exited seconds ago, looking very far away. In puzzlement, Rainbow attempted to fly back.
On the battle grounds, Applejack, Twilight Sparkle, and Pinkie Pie all stared jaw-dropped in confusion by what they had just witnessed. Rainbow Dash, who was going 3 times faster than the speed needed for a Sonic Rainboom, sped right through Applejack's jeep and right through the wall, not showing any evidence of her existance. A few seconds later, the cyan pegasus zoomed back into the area through the same wall she exited through and stopped right in front of the gaping mares,
"Rainbow, how did you..." Applejack tried to inquire amongst her confusion,
"I don't know how it happened either, but what's been going down?" Rainbow asked,
"Oh Ah've been just screwing around in this clunker while Twahlight and Pinkie tried to shoot it down" Applejack responded,
"Sounds like I could get this in a heartbeat" Rainbow competitively stated,
"But first you'll have to outrun MAH GUN!" Appljack said as a mounted gun on the front took aim at Rainbow Dash and started firing. Rainbow bolted away towards a wall, and ended up stuck in it as gunshots were heard on the outside,
"Okay this is getting annoying" Rainbow said to herself as she flew out back into the world as the fight continued. Twilight and Pinkie ran away like little fillies when Rainbow Dash just trotted straight up to the back of Applejack's jeep and latched on to the back of it. During the vehicle's pursuit, the turret turned straight around to face Rainbow Dash who was holding on for dear life. Out of shock, Rainbow let go of her grasp and belly flopped onto the soft grass. Applejack made a round loop and bullets began to contact Rainbow, so she spread her wings and dove towards the small hill, obviously ending up stuck in the ground. She heard the jeep go right over her head, so Rainbow flew stealthily under the ground and poked her head out just enough to see Applejack chasing Twilight down the hill. The gunshots eventually made Twilight fall dead and Applejack made another wide turn to try and run over Rainbow Dash, who quickly duck back underground as the jeep motored right over head, grazing the very top of her mane. Rainbow stuck her head back out and watched as Applejack turned her head around. Rainbow stuck her tounge out and zipped back up on her hooves as Applejack was now in hot pursuit. Eventually being driven into a wall, Applejack was just about to crush Rainbow against the wall, but at the very last second, Rainbow spread her wings, popping out in the brick building on the other side.
Rainbow Dash caught her breath as the jeep continued to motor around outside. Eventually, a pearl white unicorn came from a small hallway on the other side of Rainbow, soon taking notice of the pegasus who was resting against the wall,
"Ugh, Rarity again" Rainbow Dash stated upon seeing Rarity,
"Oh, hello Rainbow Dash, have you found something a little more dignified to do besides murder your friends?" Rarity sarcastically asked, Rainbow rolling her eyes, "Except that noise that's been disrupting me for the past hour probably hasn't helped much" Rarity added on as the sound of a jeep engine and gunshots mashed together to create a loud ambience,
"Well, you see... oh buck" Rainbow Dash tried to explain, but caught a glimpse of the rusted jeep out of the corner of her eye, turning into the building. Rainbow immediately leaped for cover,
"Rainbow Dash! I thought you knew better than to use such vulgar words! And you shouldn't just- WAAAAAH!" Rarity scolded to the pegasus, but then quickly noticed the beat up jeep heading straight for her, causing her to blindly turn and run away, eventually ending up in a dark corridor too big for the car to fit into. Rarity ducked behind a corner as gunshots were heard on the wall at the end of the hall,
"Shucks" Applejack said to herself at her failed attempt to run over Rarity, so she threw the jeep into reverse and exied the brick building, still hunting her cyan friend. Rainbow Dash had hidden in a "secret" hallway from the back of what used to be Pinkie Pie's fort that connected to a nearby skyscraper,
"Heh heh, now two can play in THIS game" Rainbow Dash slyly said to herself as she scrolled through the spawn list, eventually coming upon a yellow muscle car. She laughed evily as she spawned it in the skyscraper and entered, ready to have some fun.
Rainbow started to drive the beat up muscle car out of the skyscraper and down the grass hill. Expertly stick shifting, Rainbow Dash caught sight of the beat up jeep in the distance, moving up the small hill. Rainbow quickly stompted on the clutch and moved the stick into a slot with a faded "T" marking it. The muscle car instantly got a huge burst in speed for a few seconds, making Rainbow catch some air off of the small hill, but then the stick shifter automatically retreated into the slot for 4th gear, and the muscle car was now going regular speeds again. Applejack took immediate notice of the new competitor and sped away, but Rainbow Dash just threw the car into Turbo, bumpered Applejack and caused her spin out, speeding away immediately after,
"Oh ah see how this is done" Applejack said to herself aggresively as she turned the rusted jeep around and continued pursuit, firing at the back of Rainbow's vehicle.
Rainbow Dash jumped a little hearing the metallic clang of bullets hitting the back of her car. Swiftly turning her body around, Rainbow could see the sparks of bullets bouncing off a seemingly non existant windscreen. Focusing back on the grass in front of her, Rainbow made a tight left turn down another hilly green slope, Applejack soon following. However, when Rainbow headed for the concrete grey slope leading up to docking area, Applejack threw her jeep into turbo, and almost immediately overtook Dash, but Rainbow kicked the muscle car into turbo just in time, leaving the two mares neck and neck.
As both Rainbow Dash and Applejack scraped sides racing alongside the lake, Rainbow Dash started to attempt and force Applejack's jeep off the side and into the lake. Just as a wheel was about to slip off, Rainbow threw the car into turbo once again and managed to get both wheels on Applejack's jeep off the end, but Applejack was momentarilly saved by a small platform sticking out a little further than the rest of the concrete area. Seeing it as an attempt to resist, Applejack threw her car into turbo and put up a huge fight against Rainbow's muscle car. Rainbow turboed again and placed great tension between the two vehicles. However, Applejack started slowly creeping by Rainbow Dash as she turboed, and eventually got to the point where Rainbow was pushing hard enough that Applejack's jeep spun out, causing Rainbow Dash to go veering off the end and into the water trying to avoid Applejack's spun out vehicle.
Rainbow Dash's muscle car stood perched right on the slope going up to the surface. Rainbow attempted to start the car up again, but it was no use, as the car was dead underwater. Through the glistening water, Rainbow could make out Applejack's jeep going right over her on the hilly grass that led a path on the surface. Rainbow Dash just sighed in agony and tried to physgun the car out of the lake. puttig the car back into first gear, Rainbow Dash finally made her way down the hilly path in hopes of catching Applejack. As she turboed her way closer and closer, Rainbow came up with a fairly dangerous and featherbrained idea. Just when Rainbow Dash got close enough, she would permanantly shove the stick into turbo, hop up on the roof, and attempt to latch on to the rusted jeep, all with the car moving at top speed. Believe it or not, Rainbow thought that this was a good idea.
The back of Applejack's jeep grew more and more detailed as Rainbow Dash grew closer, ready to execute her plan. She started off by wedging a loose piece of broken wood that was for some reason in the car into the gearbox after latching the car into turbo. The engine heaved out all its might as Rainbow quickly hopped onto the exposed front part. The engine continued to work at all its might past the preset time as Rainbow reared up, took her aim, and made her leap of faith onto the back Applejack's jeep. At the very last second, Applejack threw her jeep into turbo, causing her to rocket away, but Rainbow still latched onto what looked like an ammo crate as her hind legs dragged along the grass. Slowly pulling herself up, Rainbow Dash worked her way up onto the top of the vehicle and watched as Applejack's blonde mane flowed in the wind as she concentrated heavily on what was in front of her,
"HEY APPLEJACK!" Rainbow yelled to the orange mare, who almost immediately looked up to see her cyan friend's face looking at her from above. Rainbow Dash then proceeded to grab onto to one of the jeep's roll cage bars and do a flying kick, sending Applejack flying out of the driver's side and onto the ground. Rainbow then immediately dropped back into Applejack's place and took control of the vehicle. Rainbow attempted to make a tight left hand hairpin, but was almost immediately launched to the side by her old yellow muscle car, still turboing after being stuck in that state, "You've gotta be kidding me" Rainbow said to herself as the car was being pushed toward a wall by the careening muscle car, eventually ending up pinned against the wall, roof mashed against the wall, the muscle car still forcing the jeep against the wall. As the engine continued to put out top power, Rainbow Dash carefully climbed out of the overturned jeep and stood on the engine, but imediately took flight after a red-hot engine almost burned the skin right off the bottom of her hooves. Off in the distance she could see Applejack lying on her back. Rainbow flew over to her orange friend, who was laughing on her back,
"Thanks Applejack" Rainbow sarcastically said to the laughing earth pony,
"Ah shucks, that's about the funniest thing I;ve seen sompeony do here since that melon nuke Pinkie made!" Applejack said while to laugh,
"But it was one of my plans! I would've almost had it if you weren't right in front of me!" Rainbow tried to reason, sounding a little embarassed after the defeat,
"That's the point! You were so riled up on stealing mah jeep that you didn't even realize you were heading straight for a wall!" Applejack laughed again. Rainbow just grumbled and turned around as Applejack got back up on her hooves. Just then, the pearl white unicorn only known as Rarity came bolting down the grass hill, looking terrified. Both Rainbow and Applejack looked towards the hill as a giant orange insect with four strong legs and a huge battering ram where its head would be charged after Rarity,
"Applejack, did you leave that thing where you built the insano car?" Rainbow asked to the orange farm pony,
"Eeyup" Applejack simply replied with a sly smile on her face. Just then, a loud energetic scream was heard,
"I'LL SAVE YOU RARITY!!" The voice that could only be recognized as Pinkie Pie screamed. With the cyan and orange ponies focused on the big orange insect, 50 menacing looking missiles all came piling down on this insect. All of them created a massive explosion 3 times the size of Equestria, wiping off everything that happened to be in the area at the time. Rainbow Dash tried to respawn, but was immediately thrown backwards by the intermittent explosions. After the 3rd time, Rainbow was seemingly frozen in place as a split second sound of an explosion constantly looped. Then her whole mind blacked out, along with all the other ponies.
Rainbow Dash opened her eyes but then squinted at the bright light the sun casted over the new landscape. Her eyes adjusted a little bit, and made out what looked like a bunch of skyscrapers surrounding a park-like area. Off in the distance, she could see the blue glow of the physgun spontaneously appear on the other side of the park area. One by one, the rest of Rainbow Dash's friends spawned around the area. However, instead of just the mane 6 being here, two new ponies spawned here, one was a toothpaste colored unicorn and a grey colored pegasus with a blonde mane,
"Ugh, someone crashed the server. AGAIN" The toothpaste unicorn said to herself as she magiced the physgun to her side and began heading towards the center of the area. As Rainbow Dash cut across the middle looking for her friends, Pinkie met up with her, but instantly had one of her Oh-my-gosh-one-of-my-bajillion-friends-from-Ponyville-is-here moments,
"*Epicly long gasp* OHMYGOSHISTHATLYRAANDDTZYDOO!?" Pinkie screamed, Rainbow Dash just seperated from the spastic party pony,
"Yeeaah... you just spaz out like that" Rainbow Dash said to herself as she began to go looking for Applejack. Coming to a road turning left and toward an overpass connecting to the street below it with a curve and a slight angled ramp. However, as she trotted down the road, Applejack, who was hidden nearby rocketed towards the unsuspecting pegasus faster than the jeep could ever achieve on its own. However, after running over Rainbow Dash, the power of the thrusters that rocketed the vehicle also pushed to the ground, causing it to crash on the lip of the sidewalk, launching Applejack out of the jeep at a very high speed and was thrown against a building, killing her instantly.
The two mares both respawned fairly far from each other, but could see a toothpaste colored unicorn at work in the center of the field. As Rainbow Dash grew curious of what this unicorn was doing, so she watched as she manipulated a tool that looked like it was made from a revolver, only it had lots of wires and cables sticking off of it and connecting to a small monitor that had "ADVANCED DUPLICATOR" scrolling across it in marquee text. Rainbow watched as a ghosted model that looked like some robot made out of a bunch of random props. However, Rainbow could hear an approaching car engine. Lyra looked towards the source of this noise and immediately began trotting away towards Rainbow Dash, who snapped back into crisis mode and began to gallop the same direction as Lyra, but their hooves were no match for the speed of the thrusters as they were almost immediately crushed like a pancake and the jeep sped on.
Rainbow respawned as fast as possible and began to look for her vehicle of choice. However, there seemed to be alot more choices now added. Rainbow grew amazed as she scrolled down, seeing all sorts of different car options, ranging from a Toyota GT-One Race Car to a Ford GT to an old Junker. Rainbow Dash chose the GT-One because it looked the fastest, got in it, and sped off toward where she saw Applejack drive off to. As Rainbow swiftly clipped the sidewalk apexes, she came upon her friend's jeep, with traffic cone thrusters on the back, parked up against a large skyscraper. Getting out, Rainbow Dash looked up into the sky and noticed Applejack peering down at her jeep, trying to aim her physgun at the vehicle to pull it up. Laughing slightly, Rainbow spread her wings, took the physgun in her hooves and started to carry the GT-One up to the top of the seemingly endlessly tall building.
However, once Rainbow Dash was comfortably floating right at roof level, Applejack stuck her head close to Rainbow Dash's right ear, breathed in, and was about to scream "BOO" but was immediately startled by a pink party pony screaming it into Applejack's ear, causing the orange farm pony to stumble off the end and begin falling. Rainbow quickly turned around, GT-One still intact, and gave a quick wink to Pinkie Pie as she settled on the top of the skyscraper.
Applejack fell for what seemed like forever until she hit the ground with a loud THWACK. Applejack could still think, showing herself she was not dead, but did not want to open her eyes, fearing she was now a mess of broken bones. Slowly opening her eyes, Applejack moved her two front hooves,
"Okay, those ain't broken... and those ain't broken" Applejack said herself as she wiggled all her hooves a little to make sure they were all intact and rolled back up back up on all four of her hooves. It hurt a little trying to walk, but the pain quickly went away and Applejack was back to normal. As she turned and started toward her overpowered jeep, an annoying glare came from the sky. Applejack looked up, and the last few seconds of her life were nothing but a quick image of a red, sleek race car barreling towards her out of the sky, then harshly crushing her underneath it's massive weight.
Rainbow Dash's car barrel rolled, shook, and flipped in the sky before landing back up on all fours. Dizzied, the cyan pegasus exited the vehicle, and sure enough, the body was fully intact, not a single dent in it, but slow puffs of grey smoke came from the front of the car. Eventually, a familiar orange mare came trotting back towards Rainbow Dash, but a loud intermitant rumbling followed,
"Applejack, you didn't bring your insano vehicle here did you?" Rainbow Dash inquired, still a little dizzied,
"Nope, even better" Applejack responded as she looked towards the park area. Almost immediately after, a giant robot that looked to be made out of scrap props came "walking" around the corner, with none other than Lyra aboard it,
"SEE!? THIS IS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT WHEN I MENTION HUMANS! NOT THIS ALIEN IDEA YOU PONIES HAVE THESE DAYS!!" Lyra yelled from atop her creation to the two ponies. Almost immediately, Dash rolled over laughing ,
"You mean they have *Snicker* GARBAGE CANS AS HANDS!?" Rainbow shouted then broke out in a fit of laughter. The robot came "walking" over to the uncontrollably laughing pegasus, "What are you gonna do? COVER ME IN GARBAGE!?" Rainbow Dash jeered again, but a "fist" made from several garbage cans was forced into Rainbow's chest, crushing her internal organs. As Rainbow struggled to breathe, she eventually fell limp, and the "fist" was lifted up, revealling the flattened center of Rainbow Dash. The corpse faded within a few seconds and Rainbow Dash came back to Lyra in her robot, and Applejack sitting in her thrustered jeep. Rainbow immediately entered her GT-One Race car and the ponies began to square off against each other.
Eventually it ended up as Applejack and Rainbow Dash racing against each other with Lyra attempting to crush them with the robot. Even though Applejack had top speed that could get you to the moon and back in less than a minute, Rainbow Dash's epic driving skills paid off and was keeping the lead. All was going well between the two ponies until on one particular tight turn, Rainbow had clipped the apex as always, but trying to make a sweeping turn around Applejack caused her to go a little too far off the road and smash into a bridge support, causing Rainbow's car to stop abrubtly. The shadow of Lyra's robot gloomed over the GT-One as Rainbow attempted to put the car into reverse, but the transmission didn't seem to respond,
"Crap. I am bucked" Rainbow said to herself preparing for a world of hurt, but all that happened was the "fist" forcing the vehicle into the ground caused it to spaz around under the pressure. When the "fist was lifted, the pressure had cemented the car to the ground, so Rainbow continued to fight with the transmission but realized that there was no choice but to exit the car and risk getting every bone in her body squished to a pulp by two garbage cans. However, the second Rainbow Dash exited the car, she attempted to bolt away, but the second her wings spread, the "fist" mashed down on her, flattening every bit of Rainbow Dash to a pancake. When she respawned, the park area was completely deserted, showing no sign of pony life. Off in the distance, Rainbow could see the tall form of the rbot continue pursuit towards Applejack and immediately began to galop at full speed toward it.
Back at one of the buildings surrounding the starting park area, a lavender unicorn known as Twilight Sparkle worked peacefully in a "hidden" bedroom type area. She was humming to herself as she carefully placed various furniture objects around the area as if setting up her own apartment room. A few seconds later, a grey blur came zooming through the outside wall, right through everything, and out the other wall, shocking Twilight. Calming herself after seeing no damage done, she resumed construction. That was until a grey pegasus came flying into Twilight's work area and landed on all four hooves, then vigorously shaking her head before facing the lavender unicorn, who turned her attention,
"Oh, hi Derpy" Twilight stated to the grey pegasus who had her eyes crossed in a humorous fashion,
"Message for you! Oh wait, I don't have a message... but watcha doing?" Derpy responded. Twilight couldn't help but laugh a little at the mailmare's cute way of slapstick,
"Oh just making myself a little living area considering we're gonna be here for another few hours" Twilight said, but then got an amazing idea, "Derpy! I just got an awesome idea for us!" Twilight yelled out with a eureka sense in her voice,
"What is it Twilight?" Derpy replied,
"You know what roleplaying is?" Twilight asked. Derpy shook her head vigorously, "Maybe I should have worded it a little simpler" Twilight whispered to herself, "Have you ever played house?" Twilight asked. Derpy vigorously nodded her head up and down, "Well why don't we play house, but instead of mother father and foal, we have it mailmare and citizens?" Twilight excitedly asked,
"Sounds like fun!" The cross eyed pegasus replied,
"Now" Twilight stated, then walked over to her bookshelf and grabbed one of the empty binders in her mouth, "Deliver this to Rainbow Dash, she should be around the city somewhere" Twilight said through the book in her mouth, handing it over to Derpy, "And come back once your done!" Twilight yelled out as Derpy began to go off and complete the given request.
Deep within the roads of the city map, a rusted jeep powered around a tight corner, then rocketed forwards down a long straight section. Almost immediately after, a sleek, red race car clipped the sidewalk and drifted out a little as it accelerated out of the corner. Inside the cockpit, the cyan pegasus known as Rainbow Dash squinted in concentration through the small windscreen as she chased down this rusty jeep that was outrunning her. Just as she was about make a pass, SHWOOM! A grey blur zoomed right in front of Rainbow's windshield, causing her to lose track of what hooves were doing what with the car, then spun and skidded to a stop,
"*Grumble* That's the second time she's done that in the past week!" Rainbow screamed to herself in agony, resting her head on the steering wheel. The familiar crossed eyes of Derpy Hooves was seen landing softly on the road and trotting over to the cockpit door. Rainbow reluctantly swung it open,
"Message for ya!" Derpy said, muffled with the binder in her mouth. Rainbow reluctantly took it from Derpy's mouth as Derpy sped away, then opening it up, to see nothing but blank pages, "What the... How did she... Wait a second..." Rainbow said to herself in her train of thought. A few seconds later, Rainbow slammed the cockpit door shut, put the GT-One back in first gear, and sped off in the direction that the rusted jeep went in.
Back at Twilight's little living quarters, a quill was being magiced above the blank pages of a binder as Twilight was mumbling some words under her breath as the quill moved elegantly by itself right on the surface of the paper, copying the words of her thoughts. A little bit after, the sound of what sounded like some sort of laser gun rapidly firing was heard, making Twilight lose her train of thought, and moving the quill abrubtly across the paper, creating a long line going diagnal across the center of it. Twilight grumbled in agony as the repeated laser firing was heard. Determined to find the cause of this noise, Twilight got up from the sofa she had placed, to find that she moved in a very choppy fashion. Knowing something was up, Twilight very slowly moved toward her window.
What lie before her was a mass array of huge towers made from huge props scattered across the park area, with more choppily spawning by the second. Looking upwards, she saw none other than Pinkie Pie repeatadly spamming these towers while seemingly floating in the air,
"Pin-Pin-Pin-Pin Kie-Kie-Kie-Kie Ee-ee-ee-ee-ee!" Twilight yelled in a very laggy fashion to the pink pony,
"Oh-oh-oh-oh hi-hi-hi-hi ee-ee-ee-ee Twi-twi-twi-twi Ligh-ligh-ligh-light! Hows-hows-hows-hows i-i-i-i t-t-t-t go-go-go-go ing-ing-ing-ing!" Pinkie tried to yell back while choppily waving her hoof,
"Oh-oh-oh-oh kay-kay-kay-kay!" Pinkie shouted back then pushed a button on her wrist then all the towers went away in the blink of an eye, and both Twilight and Pinkie Pie could move fluently again. However, as soon as Twilight had flipped to a new page in the binder and began writing her train of thought, a familiar grey pegasus came flying in once again,
"Message for ya!" Derpy stated with a smile on her face, trying to retain her anger from the constant interuptions Twilight said back,
"Oh, you're back this quickly?" Twilight requested. Derpy vigorously nodded again,
"Okay, now we should-" Twilight was about to say, but was then cut off by an outside voice,
"HEY TWILIGHT! DERPY!" The voice called in. Both of the mares went to the window, and there was a trio of ponies consisting of Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Lyra. Rainbow Dash had her SMG at hoof, and two cars surrounded the trio, "You wanna race us!?" Rainbow Dash yelled to the two ponies,
"I-I'm not sure, you are the fastest pegasus in all of Equestria" Twilight said, hoping they would see it as rejecting the offer,
"Come on Twilight, you gotta get out of the books for once!" Rainbow responded loudly,
"Look Rainbow, me and Derp-" Twilight yelled back, getting cut off by Rainbow Dash once more,
"Come on Twilight, just get your flank down here and we'll explain everything!" Rainbow Dash impatiently said. Twilight and Derpy reluctantly walked over to a lone white door on the wall and pushed a button, causing the two to teleport down to ground level. The two mares walked out onto the road where the three ponies and two cars lay before them,
"Okay Rainbow, what's so important you need me down here for?" Twilight asked a little reluctantly,
"Okay, okay, you remember when me and Applejack were going at it back at the other place?" Rainbow Dash quickly explained,
"Yeeah?" Twilight unsurely replied,
"Well I thought it would be something like that only with all 8 of us! I was just thinking about it and it just seems SO AWESOME!" Rainbow excitedly stated while making her signature face, "Now all you really have to do is pick what car you wanna race and then we should be good to go!" Rainbow added on excitedly as Twilight went to her wrist spawning console and started scrolling through the many options of cars there were, "Oh and Twilight?" Rainbow asked once more,
"Yes Rainbow" Twilight replied, slightly annoyed,
"I'm gonna be racing in this bad boy, I don't think it'll fail me a day in my life!" Rainbow Dash said while leaning over the red racer as Twilight continued searching. She eventually settled with a Mazda RX-7, despite having no knowledge of how it handled and accelerated and all that stuff. The vehicle materialized in front of Twilight's face as she proceeded to enter it, resting her flank on the relatively soft seating. Just then, Rainbow appeared at the open door, "I'll be right back, I'm gonna go get Fluttershy and Rarity" Rainbow quickly informed then zoomed off to go find said ponies.
As soon as Twilight shut the car door, the engine started up. With absolutely no experience in driving a car whatsoever, Twilight had to fidget around a little finding out what makes a car go and what makes it stop. After a few minutes in figuring out manual transmission operation and growing comfortable with it, Twilight actually began to take a few laps around the mini grass area, and although being a little off with shift timing, she was comfortable with driving the RX-7.
After a good 10 minutes of growing comfortable with everypony's vehicles (Fluttershy and Rarity kindly opted out) it was about start time for the unofficial race that Rainbow Dash was hosting. All 6 cars were lined up on the grid of the back road leading out into the city, with Rainbow Dash of leading of course,
"OKAY WHEN THE COCKPIT DOOR SHUTS, THEN THE RACE STARTS, OKAY!" Rainbow Dash yelled from the inside of the GT-One to the rest of the racers. Various calls of agreement sounded and Rainbow raised her hoof up to the door handle, growing more and more aggressive. At exactly the right second, Rainbow thrusted her hoof back towards her body, taking the door handle with her.
Engine sounds blared through the air, and tires screeched out of the starting blocks. The top 3 zoomed out in front, being Rainbow Dash, Lyra, and Applejack. They scraped sides diving through the corners, all fighting for the lead. They all caught some air off of a ramp that led to an elevated highway. However, in the right line of this road, about halfway down, was a large ramp intended for doing tricks. With the trio burning down the stretch, Rainbow Dash veered away and rode up the ramp. As the GT-One sailed through the air, Applejack and Lyra still scraping sides. That was until Rainbow Dash bounced right in front of them, almost falling off the end. The top two gained distance on Rainbow Dash as she scraped around the outside. They raced down the ramp back to ground level, but there was a nasty surprise waiting at the bottom, as a damaged blue bus jumped out from underneath the ramp and sideswiped Lyra out of second place. Rainbow Dash quickly sped back up to Applejack...
The driver of the giant bus continued to press its victim's Ford GT against the side wall. After a whole minute, the GT's engine caught on fire and exploded, Lyra's corpse falling out of the side. The driver just back the bus out and kept going. She noticed a blue RX-7 in the distance, and a grey mini cooper swerving down the road much farther behind it. However, the driver brung her face out of the shadows to study the cooper, revealing the driver to be Pinkie Pie. After studying the cooper's drunken driving style, Pinkie threw the bus into first gear and drove towards it. She caught up with the other vehicle when it smashed into a building, and Pinkie could see that this was indeed Derpy Hooves behind the wheel. In the middle of forming a crazy idea, Pinkie stopped the bus, and exited to see the grey pegasus. Derpy stopped the car and got out,
"Hiya Ditzy! Did you see how those meanies took off without us?" Pinkie asked in her usual bubbly voice, and Derpy nodded her head vigorously in response,
"Yeah! And I got left in last place..." Derpy said with a hint of sadness,
"Well don't worry, I've got a super-duper amazing plan to get us BOTH in first!" Pinkie said loudly. Derpy cheered up instantly,
"Wow! what is it?" Derpy asked. Pinkie then went up and whispered something in her ear, and both of them laughed sort-of evilly.

Applejack and Rainbow Dash were still going at for the gold in the heart of the city's streets. The course winded like a maze through the many roads, but the two were racing one right behind the other. Finally, the two cars turned onto a long stretch of road, and Applejack activated her thrusters and sped off. Rainbow Dash kicked her car into the highest gear possible and tried to stay in her opponent's slipstream. At the point where the road turned off, the course directed to weave between two buildings to continue the straightaway. Just as Applejack was about to gap it with Rainbow right behind her, something came barreling through, throwing the jeep into the air, and the GT-One pointed skyward. Once all four wheels were back on the ground, Rainbow saw that she was being pushed by the same bus that attacked Lyra. Immediately, she accelerated out from in front of the bus and turned keep going, but just as she had got onto the sidewalk lip, a giant, heavy object landed on top of Rainbow Dash's car, prohibiting vision through the windshield. However, Rainbow could see that the engine was on fire, and knowing what she does about cars, engines on fire = bad things. Seeing the fire, Rainbow desperately started trying to open both doors, but it was pointless: the object on top of her prevented that from happening. Finally, a loud explosion ended Dash's struggle...

Back at the spawn, Rainbow Dash respawned right in the middle of the road, and could see an object flying towards the sky with nothing but thruster power. Dash was soon alerted by the sound of rumbling footsteps. Turning around, Dash saw that this was Lyra in her junk robot,
"Hey Dash! Did Pinkie get you to?" Lyra called out,
"Wait, that was Pinkie who smashed you?" Dash asked back,
"Heck yes, and apparently she's teamed up with Derpy, so they're wreaking havoc on the course!" Lyra yelled back,
"Well let's go get our revenge! She won't get away with messing with MY GT-One!" Rainbow yelled, and Lyra extended one of the robot's 'arms' out, and Rainbow Dash climbed up and and took a seat next to Lyra.

The robot walked backwards through the course until it came upon Twilight, who appeared unscathed by the previous chaos, racing as usual. The duo continued to move until they came upon the scene, where a crushed and destroyed GT-One lay and skid marks everywhere. The two though nothing of it until they heard the thunderous bus speeding closer behind them. The robot turned around and saw the infamous blue bush pushing a blue RX-7 sideways, with a mass of props on top looking somewhat like a cannon. Both Lyra and Rainbow Dash were appalled by the gigantic contraption on top, but nonetheless, they progressed. The RX-7 eventually squeezed its way out the same way Dash did, but the bus soon turned around to follow. The two robot drivers watched as a grey mini cooper was launched from the cannon, landing on the front part of the car, crushing the engine,
"That's exactly what she did to me!" Dash yelled, then stole the controls and started "punching" the blue bus, hoping to immobilize it. However, in the corner of her eye, she could see Twilight slink away into an alleyway to escape to chaos going on in the middle of the street. Now, it was the robot versus Pinkie and Derpy. The first target was Derpy, who was in the grey mini cooper, of whom Pinkie furiously guarded. Rainbow Dash threw one fist down onto the bus, pressing the bus onto the ground with the wheels spazzing around it. While keeping the bus pressed, Rainbow tried to step on the cooper, but to no avail. Eventually,
"You know what? I'm going to the ground. Seeya" Dash said boldly and flew herself to the ground. Then, she pulled out her SMG and started spraying lead on her opponents.

Twilight finally escaped the war zone and returned to the spawn area, which was creepily deserted. Beyond the sounds of gunshots, engines, and collisions, she laid down against the building, relieved from the clusterbuck that just went on. Soon, Applejack respawned not too far away. She soon took notice of Twilight and headed over to her,
"You ahlright sugarcube?" Applejack asked,
"Yeah... just shaken after that whole mess..." Twilight said,
"Look, ah've practically been killed in those kinds of things, but the best solution, is just to let them fight. Rainbow Dash can fight 'til the cows come home, but it's best for you to stay out of it" Applejack stated. Twilight sighed,
"I think I had to learn that the hard way..." Twilight responded,
"Ah know how you feel-" Applejack was cut off by a large explosion followed by some cheering. Some rumbling was heard, and soon the junk robot came through with Lyra driving and Rainbow Dash hanging off of it. Once they had reached the girls, Dash just let herself fall, but she forgot to use her wings, so she landed on the ground with a sickening splat. Dash turned her head,
"I'm okay" Dash said, then helped herself up,
"So, how was the fight?" Applejack asked,
"Piece of cake" Dash said with her hint of showoffness, "So how about another race?" Dash asked, and both of them showed denial,
"Ya know, I would never deny a good race with you on a normal day, but after what happened, I don't think so" Applejack stated,
"Come oooooooon, where's your spirit?" Dash asked, growing a little impatient,
"Dash, I know you love it, but why don't you do something that's a little less crazy" Twilight stated. Rainbow rolled her eyes and then went off to go find Pinkie. She found her pretty quickly since she was helping Lyra in the center of the map. As Dash approached,
"Hey Pinkie!" Dash said loudly, but Pinkie appeared to be busy,
"Oh hey Dash! And then you wanna weld that to that..." Dash could hear her say to Lyra. The project that the pair was working on looked only in its beginning stages, so Dash left them to try and find someone else to fill her constant energy and competitiveness.
Deep into the city, in a fairly secret catacomb, Fluttershy and Rarity are working together on a project that doesn't involve mass destruction or going extremely fast,
"I swear, something HAS to be up with both Pinkie and Rainbow Dash alike, I mean, I know what Pinkie's intentions were, but I could never imagine her causing such a giant conflict out there, even if it was out of her general craziness" Rarity stated,
"But... isn't Rainbow Dash always super competitive?" Fluttershy responded,
"Yes, of course I know that, but what I'm saying is that now she's obsessively competitive. I mean did you see how furiously she was operating that thing she was using?" Rarity asked. Just then, an explosion sounded overhead, and a certain pegasus landed in front of the entrance with a splat,
"I'm okay" Rainbow said, muffled from the floor. She slowly stood back up and entered the workplace of Flutters and Rarity,
"Oh... hi Rainbow Dash, you okay?" Fluttershy quickly asked,
"Yeah, just rocket jumping's not as easy as it looks; so what brung you two down here?" Dash asked,
"We just came here after that whole mess" Rarity stated,
"And those lamebrains back at the spawn are apparently too much of CHICKENS to fight me again" Dash said with annoyance,
"Well you have to understand, ALL of you just fought to the death in cars, and you came out with the victory, so shouldn't you be fine with what you've got?" Rarity asked,
"Well one isn't enough! I need..." Dash paused, (falsely) breathing heavily, "ALL the victories..." Dash finished. Rarity just slowly backed away from the supposedly insane pegasus,
"Um... Rainbow..." Fluttershy said quietly. Rainbow turned to face her,
"What?" She asked back,
"You know... you can help us... with our project... if that;s okay with you..." Fluttershy stated shyly. Rainbow Dash blinked a couple of times,
"Nah, I'm going back to see if the do-do birds finally grew a pair" Dash stated, then zipped back to the surface through the roof. Rarity came back over to Flutters,
"I told you something was wrong with her..." Rarity whispered.

Rainbow continued to glide high above the maze of streets that she had been speeding around not long ago, until she came over the spawn area. Looking down, she noticed a whole bunch of pink ponies scattered around just standing around like statues. Rainbow knew that Pinkie must be fairly close because that many statues could be laid by any old pony. Finally she caught sight of a skyscraper with an accessible room on top. Out of curiosity, Dash flew toward it, and landed herself on a platform below a window. Dash slid herself in through the small window to be met with an empty room. Just then, a plate swung down and covered Dash's only exit route, as a large door denied the other way out. Out of nowhere, Pinkie Pie noclipped herself into the room and landed behind Dash,
"HIYA DASH!" Pinkie yelled, startling Dash,
"Pinkie... why'd you trap me in here?" Dash inquired,
"So I can do... THIS!" Pinkie said quickly before she drew a toolgun, the exact same instrument Lyra had been working with the create the robot. Just as Dash spread her wings to escape, she was hit by a beam from the gun, and fell limp onto the ground like a ragdoll. Soon after, Pinkie equipped the physgun, dragged the now-ragdoll of Dash to a corner of the room, and attached a rope from the wall to the back of Dash's neck. She then pulled her toolgun back out and shot Dash, which caused her to spring back to life. Dash looked around and tried to move, until she realized she was chained to the wall by a rope. As an emergency evacuation, she pulled out her rocket launcher and shot the ground right below her, turning everything to black.
Rainbow regained consciousness in the exact same state she died in. Just then, Pinkie came floating in from above,
"Oh you thought I would let you go that easy? Well I've got a leeeeeetle more knowledge of the console than that" Pinkie said evilly. Dash grew furious and tried to attack Pinkie, however, the rope held her back,
"Let's see... anti noclip..." Pinkie said to herself as she typed some things on the toolgun screen, which made Dash's wings return stiff against her body, refusing to budge, "and remove weapons..." Then Dash's weapons all disappeared at once, "and FINALLY..." Pinkie said as she changed her tool, removed the rope, and replaced it with a winch. Just as Rainbow Dash was about to tackle Pinkie out of her rage, Pinkie pressed a button, and slowly Dash started getting dragged backwards. However, the fighting pegasus did manage to grab a hold of Pinkie's hoof and drag her down with herself. It soon turned into a ground brawl, where Dash fought to swipe the toolgun from her hooves. Finally, Rainbow Dash got a hold of the gun, and to prevent Pinkie from wreaking any more havoc, Dash threw the weapon against the wall, but once the thing hit the wall, the same split second sound of the gun shattering looped over and over again, until Dash went blank...

Meanwhile, Applejack had just returned to the spawn area hoping to find Rainbow Dash, but with her lack of presence, Applejack began to search the area, checking the hidden bedroom Twilight originally worked in and all of the alleys. Eventually, she looked up and noticed a pink and a blue blur at the top of a skyscraper,
"Oh no, that don't look good..." AJ said to herself before going up to the door and pushing a button that teleported her to the roof. Applejack slowly proceeded into the top room to be met with a large steel door blocking the room. With a quick move from the physgun, she was in the room. Investigating the scene, which was a still frame of chaos, she could see Pinkie scrambling towards Rainbow Dash, and a toolgun about ready to shatter from an impact with the wall, "Hm, that loo-oo-oo-oo-oo" Applejack suddenly blacked out right on the spot.

Back in the hidden catacomb, Rarity is welding parts of her project together until she looks down and sees all sorts of junk data flashing around the toolgun screen. Knowing what this meant, she let out a small gasp,
"What's wrong?" asked Fluttershy,
"Someone's crashing the server..." Rarity said a little dramatically. Neither of them knew a lot about coding, but they could tell when bad things were about to happen. With both of them in shock, Rarity turned toward Flutters, "What should we do-o-o-o-o-o-o" and instantly both Fluttershy and Rarity blacked out on the spot also.
