> DayBreaker's Fall, Celestia's Rebirth > by KnuxChangeling > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Chapter 1: Whispers > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luna stood in front of the large golden throne, looking her sister directly in the eyes. Luna was frustrated while Celestia was furious. They've been at this one argument for days, even weeks, now. Luna was growing tired of it and she wasn't going to give in, not when there are too many factors that could go wrong. "As I said sister", Luna stated, "If the day lasted for too long, then ponies will most likely die." "Die", Celestia asked, voice dripping with anger, "They would be warm and more crops would be able to grow at a larger rate." Luna sighed and rubbed her face with a hoof. "But then the crops grow at different seasons and they can only be harvested at different seasons. Also, most of the crops grow better at night when it's cooler, and ponies won't die from heat stroke or anything else. Those flowers you love so much, they would die in the sun." Celestia wasn't truly listening, all she heard was excuses for why the day couldn't last longer than normal. Celestia gritted her teeth and stamped her golden clad hoof on the ground. "I have heard enough Luna", Celestia said, "I will talk to you later." "But Celestia", Luna stated, not done with the conversation. "ENOUGH LUNA", Celestia bellowed, gaining a wince from Luna. Luna backed away and left the room, still feeling that burning gaze bore into the back of her skull. Celestia, with all of her rage, surprisingly didn't offer a scathing insult to try to discredit Luna and her claims. Luna shook her head as she headed to her room. She would see in time that the day lasting for longer than it needed wasn't such a good idea. Later on, in Luna's chambers, Luna was going through some paper work. It was from diplomats who wanted to have Luna make a few peace appearances at their estates. Not every pony thought Luna was the sweet type. Luna sighed and signed a few. Just because she kept to herself a lot didn't mean she was some pony to be feared. Maybe it was because of her appearance. Luna shrugged and kept signing papers until there was a knock on the door. "Come in" Luna said, not looking up from her papers. A white unicorn, dressed in the gold armor of Celestia's royal guard, entered the room and saluted. "Princess Celestia wishes to see you in her personal chambers." "I will be there when I can", Luna replied, shooing him away. The guard left with a bow. Luna groaned and put her papers down. At least this was a break from the annoying work that was still to come. She headed out of her room and headed toward her sister's chambers. In Celestia's chambers, she was mulling over what to say to her younger sister. A longer day would be beneficial to her little ponies. Everything she suggested would be for her ponies. She sighed and paced around her room. She could've sworn that in the back of her mind, she heard a voice that was whispering to her. Celestia dismissed it as her own thoughts. She was pretty miffed that her sister wouldn't listen to reason after all. It was probably natural for her to have inner thoughts like that, just a distant whisper. There was a knock on her door. "Sister, are you in there", Luna's voice came from the other side of the door. "Y-Yes sister", Celestia said, "Please....come in." Luna opened the door and shut it behind her, sitting on the cushioned seat next to Celestia's own. Luna looked quite tired even though it wasn't yet time to raise the moon. Luna put a hoof on her chin and sighed. "What is it Celestia", Luna said, trying to keep the annoyance from her voice. "Well, it's about the longer days", Celestia stated. Luna groaned and rolled her eyes, "Tia we have talked about this! There can be no balance if one part of the day gets more priority over the other. It can lead to disaster." "But I can make it work LuLu", Celestia said, "I can make it so that no pony will be harmed." Luna mumbled something under her breath and stood. "We are done here Tia, we have no reason to argue this anymore." "B-But", Celestia started. Luna held up a hoof to silence her older sister, "I am the younger of us but yet I have to be the mother. I will not go through this with you again. Drop it." With that, Luna turned and left the room. Celestia shouted in anger and stamped her hooves on the ground, cracking the floor. If Luna would've stayed, she would've noticed the orange flash that overtook the usually magenta eyes for a moment. Celestia paced again in her room, fury coming off of her in waves. "Why won't she listen", Celestia fumed, "She keeps making excuses! She's not mother! I am the oldest so I should do whatever I want!" A voice whispered from the back of her mind, "Yes, you should be able to. As you said, you are the oldest." "But I have to keep balance so the world will be stable but", Celestia said, still pacing but starting to slow down. The voice grew a bit louder, "Who needs balance when you get what you want? You can have it all. You don't need Luna for anything. Get rid of her, she doesn't share your ideas. Celestia stopped for a minute, "But I love my sister...." "She doesn't love you. Think about it, if she really loved you, she would've let you keep the sun up for a little while longer. Think about it. She doesn't love you." There seemed to be a presence next to her, whispering in her ear, leaning closer and closer. It felt familiar but....foreign. It was....strange. The presence was touching her now, whispering directly into her ear, "Think about it. Just.....think about it." Celestia whirled around as the presence laughed. She found nothing. There was nothing there at all. Celestia just gritted her teeth and went to her desk, paperwork already there from earlier in the day. She had work to do, and that paperwork wasn't on the list. If she was going to bring about new ideas for a lasting day, then she had to start now. > Chapter 2: Disturbing Dream > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- From somewhere in the castle, Luna raised the moon while Celestia lowered the sun from her room. Luna sighed as she sat, looking at her surroundings. She was in the dining hall eating her dinner alone. Celestia decided to barricade herself in her room. Luna didn't mind much so she sat in silence while she ate, she didn't want to hear the nonsense about a day lasting longer than it has to. Soon enough, it was time for Luna to monitor dreams. She entered her room and laid on her bed, her horn igniting in a soft blue hue. She closed her eyes and the darkness from closing them fell away into the dream realm. It still fascinated Luna to this day. The dream realm was like a hive mind but every pony was their own being. Orbs floated around her as she floated in the vast light blue expanse. These orbs were the dreams of every pony she could have her magic come in contact with. One would say it was all of Equestria, but no. Luna floated there for a moment, looking for a nightmare that she would have to help some pony out of, but fortunately, there where none. Luna breathed a sigh of relief until she felt a brush of heat skim her side. She turned to look at the source of the heat to find her sister's orb, usually the same coloration as her mane. The orb was no longer the pastel rainbow it was, it was....orange. It was the orange of a raging flame. Luna reached out with her magic and touched the orb. The dream realm faded away and what stood before her was the throne room. Luna looked around and saw her sister sitting upon it with a look of distaste. "So little sister", Celestia said, seeming to not see Luna standing off to the side, "You decide to not listen. I shall take matters into my own hooves." Luna watched as another...her...came into the room. The other Luna looked frustrated and tired and just straight up done with her older sister's crap. Celestia grinned, not her motherly grin that she usually wore, but a grin that promised violence. "I'm so glad that you could make it LuLu", Celestia said, her voice dripping with mock respect. ' "I am through talking about this Celestia", the other Luna said, "I am here to ask you to step down for a while to clear your head." "Step down", Celestia asked, her eyes widening slightly. She then laughed and spread her wings. "I will not step down from my throne. I will be the one and only princess from here on out sister." The other Luna rolled her eyes and rubbed her face with a hoof. "I don't want to play this game sister", the other Luna said, "You just need some time away from royal duties. I will handle them until you can think straight." Celestia laughed again then charged her horn. The aura was the same golden yellow color as before but there was something different with it. Celestia fired a beam at the other Luna, leaving a small crater. The other Luna dodged just in time, shock written clear as day across her face. Celestia charged her magic again, her golden aura being overtaken by a dark red orange aura that was more rugged and electric. "I WILL REIGN SUPREME AS THE TRUE RULER OF EQUESTRIA", Celestia shouted as flames enveloped her. Both Luna's watched in shock as the pony formerly known as Celestia burned away. A new alicorn was born, one with a mane and tail of flames, red orange armor on her chest and wings. She had matching hoof shoes and helmet. The helmet had a blood red diamond on the front that seemed to glow with a power all its own. The sun outside seemed to glow brighter in response to the Sun Princess' transformation. It glowed an angry orange and seemed to pulsate with power. The new alicorn's eyes opened, revealing orange eyes with flame shaped pupils. The alicorn laughed, revealing a serated grin that would give Luna a run for her bits. "C-Celestia", both Luna's breathed, not believing what they were seeing. "Celestia", the alicorn asked, "I am not Celestia. I am DayBreaker, the most powerful ruler in all of Equestria! Soon to be the ONLY ruler of Equestria." The other Luna barely dodged the beam of scorching hot sun that came after that statement. There were burn marks from the beam and a nasty burn across the other Luna's back right leg. She winced as DayBreaker landed in front of her. DayBreaker leaned in to the other Luna. "I don't need you little sister", DayBreaker said, her voice rough but silky smooth. Her horn charged and fired upon the other Luna, reducing her to nothing but ashes that were soon blown away on a phantom wind. DayBreaker walked back up to her throne, sitting upon it. The flowers lining the sides of the grand room burst into flames as DayBreaker laughed in victory. DayBreaker had won. Luna gasped and pulled herself back from the orb, looking at it in fear. She couldn't believe what she had just seen. Her own sister wanted to destroy her and take the throne for herself. Luna shook her head. No, that wasn't her sister. That was....DayBreaker. Her sister would never do that to her. Never. Luna took a deep breath and continued with her nightly duties. She would probably talk to Celestia about this in the morning, if she had the guts to do so that is. All the while, it still nagged at the back of her mind that she saw her sister, no, DayBreaker, in the flesh. This was going to be an issue. Luna faded back into the dream realm, the beauty of it bringing her some form of comfort. It always did. The peace and quiet and the twinkling of a million souls dreaming. There were still some that disturbed her, but nevertheless, she always enjoyed her realm. She decided to let the peace envelop her for this night before the storm she knew was coming tomorrow. > Chapter 3: DayBreaker > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Celestia walked toward the balcony that faced the east, eyes half closed in some sort of daze. She did not sleep well last night, the nightmare she had feeling all too real. She had woken up multiple times to see if she had indeed changed into the monster of flame. When she found she was still her, she would attempt to go back to sleep. That attempt would fail, just like the ones after it. Still, she woke up at the crack of dawn to start the sunrise. It was her duty and she knew that she had to keep doing it in order to bring harmony. Harmony, such a funny word. For her ponies, and Luna, harmony meant balance, safety. For Celestia it used to mean that, but as she grew, the word started to change for her. It felt like ash on her tongue and she found that it's much more limiting than she believed. Celestia arrived at the east balcony and lit up her horn. She didn't notice the red crackle of electricity that was there for just a moment as she did so. The sun started to peek out from the horizon, slowly rising. She set it on course to rise on its own until noon and walked back into the castle. She could barely see straight but she knew the castle well enough to make it back to her chambers. She plopped face first into her pillow and instantly passed out. She would worry about everything else when it was time. Celestia woke not to the blinding sun, but the lack of it. She opened her eyes seeing......night sky? What? She blinked a couple of times, her eyesight clearing until she saw feathers and an ethereal blue mane dotted with stars. Celestia groaned and rolled over. "What do you want Luna", Celestia managed to croak. "You are going to miss breakfast sister", Luna said, "Hurry and get ready. I will be waiting outside." Celestia heard the clip clopping of hooves exiting the room and the closing of the door. She groaned and rolled out of bed before heading to the bathroom. She was so tired, but she will wake up more when she got a bit of sun in her. The sun for her was more like an energy source, something vital to her every day. She liked it that way too. Celestia walked out of the bathroom when she was done and levitated her regalia and golden horseshoes out from the large dark brown chest at the foot of her bed. She never really cared for the regalia, never even thought she needed it. Her mere presence was enough to keep ponies in line and to have them pay her respects. Still, Celestia put it on and walked out the door. The guards saluted as she walked by. Celestia smiled at each of them as she headed to the dining hall where Luna was waiting. Luna already had a plate in front of her, pancakes by the look of it. If Celestia looked closer, she could see that the fruit and whipped cream on top was arranged into a face. Celestia giggled as she sat next to her sister, a similar plate of pancakes already waiting for her wrapped in Luna's soft blue aura. "Ah there you are sister", Luna stated, "I've kept your food warm for you." "Thank you", Celestia said, picking up her fork, "Sorry for taking so long." Luna waved a hoof dismissively, "Worry not." Celestia started eating, a small smile on her face but deep down, she felt tension rolling off of Luna. Something was wrong. Celestia sat on her throne looking at Luna who stood in front of her. Celestia already had an annoyed look on her face. "I'm giving you want you want", Luna said, starting to pace. "But that's only part of what I want", Celestia said, stamping a hoove on the ground, "I want it to last longer than a mere 12 hours." "Not everything can survive at certain times", Luna said, "A Summer Solstice would make more sense since it's in the summer. Most things are planed during that time AND they require more sun at that point and time." Celestia was growing tired of this. She got up from her throne and walked toward Luna, her face turning into that of a stone statue. She started circling Luna, like a predator stalking its prey. Luna watched with wary eyes and frowned when she saw a flicker of orange overtake the normal magenta of her sister's eyes. Luna didn't like where this was going already. "Why so tense sister", Celestia asked, her voice dripping with venom, "Why do you suddenly act this way? Are you afraid of what the sun may bring for our subjects?" "I only fear what you may become with this", Luna said, eyes still on her sister. "I am afraid of the consequences that will follow. There can't be too much of a good thing, lest it make you sick." Celestia snorted and got in Luna's face, "Are you saying that I am sick in the mind Luna?" Luna backed up a step, her eyes widening at the sudden harshness of Celestia's tone. Luna then took a deep breath and stood her ground. "No sister", Luna sighed, "I'm saying that you're not thinking logically because emotions on this matter are clouding your thinking. I've seen in your nightmares what this would lead to." Celestia's eyes suddenly narrowed. "So you knew that I was suffering and you have done NOTHING?!" Celestia's voice shook the entire room as she ended the sentence in the Royal Canterlot Voice. Luna flinched back at the sudden volume and stepped back. This was getting out of hand and she had to reign it it. "I wanted to see how it played out", Luna said, "I couldn't do much of anything anyway." "What is that supposed to mean", Celestia asked, her voice now dangerously low. "You're too set in your ways sister", Luna said, her voice growing in confidence, "You're blind to what blessings I'm giving you. I'm giving you the blessing in an hours long day, longer than normal." "I am the oldest", Celestia hissed, "I don't need your blessing." Celestia was getting unnervingly close and her eyes.....her eyes....they were orange. The orange of a raging flame, the orange of DayBreaker. "You're right", Luna said, trying to calm her sister down, "What we need is harmony between everything." "Harmony", Celestia hissed, scowling. "Harmony, ash on my tongue. That word is so limiting, it limits all of us. It limits me." "There is a greater freedom in harmony than one can ever believe", Luna said with a steely resolve. Their gazes met, sharp as daggers. Electricity could be felt in the air as the two alicorns dug into the power they had and brung it to the surface. Luna held back some and was the first to speak. "If you don't accept the offer then your plans will not go on", Luna said, starting to turn away. That was a mistake. A beam of red and orange magic hit her in her side, sending her careening into the far wall. Luna stood slowly and whirled around at her sister, or....what was her sister. The alicorn that stood there now was an alicorn of flame. Her mane and tail was a raging fire, she was adorned in red and gold armor that covered her wings, chest, head and hooves. The head piece had a blood red jewel in the center that seemed to glow with a life of its own. Her eyes.....those eyes....so full of hatred and anger, where honed in on Luna, dead set on ending the blue alicorn's life. "C-Celestia", Luna asked. Her voice was heavy with fear, hope and concern. "Celestia", the armor adorned alicorn asked, "I'm not Celestia. I am wrath and flame incarnate! I am DAYBREAKER! And I am your doom!" Luna's eyes widened as she dodged another beam and charged her own horn. This wasn't her sister, there wasn't even a shred of her left in this new alicorn. This was DayBreaker, and Luna was afraid not only for her life, but for her ponies lives as well. Luna ran toward DayBreaker, a battle cry ripping from her throat as she fired a beam. This will be a battle that no one will know the end to. > Chapter 4: Only One Will Leave > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luna fired a beam at DayBreaker, who dodged and bucked Luna in the gut as she passed. Luna rolled onto her back, making sure her wings weren't hurt. She caught her breath just in time as DayBreaker slammed her hooves over her only hitting a blue shield. Luna rolled out of the way and fired a beam at DayBreaker. It caught the enraged alicorn off guard, slamming her into the pillars on the other side of the room. Luna bolted out the door, heading toward the top of the castle. She needed to get to open air and gain some sort of advantage. She barely dodged the maids and guards in the halls who looked confused and alarmed. Some of the guards tried to fight the alicorn of flame once they saw her. They didn't recognize their once kind princess of the sun. They were discarded like trash while DayBreaker just calmly walked along the halls after Luna. DayBreaker was dead set on ending the blue alicorn's life, ending this "suffering" that she's been going through. DayBreaker was going to have her day in the sunlight, so to speak. She met Luna at the top of the castle, Luna's horn already charged with its soft blue aura. DayBreaker laughed and stopped a few feet away. "So you don't like being so close to me huh", DayBreaker mocked, "The heat too much for you?" "Nay", Luna said, gritting her teeth, "I just wanted some space to breathe." DayBreaker laughed again before firing a beam of scorching sun at Luna. Luna flew up into the sky and retaliated with another beam of her own, one set to freeze DayBreaker. DayBreaker smirked before the ice covered her entire body. Seconds later, however, the ice shattered and Luna had to cover her face as the shards flew towards her. A few cut her but it wasn't something to bat an eye at. DayBreaker proceeded to chase Luna into the air. Luna lead her on a wild goose chase weaving through the spires of the castle, ducking and dodging scorching beams of sun, some singing her feathers. Luna kept flying, trying to find an opening where she could get behind DayBreaker. Her chance came when they came up on one of the spires with a large opening. The spire was a place Luna and Celestia used to sit at when they were watching the stars together. Sometimes, she would show her older sister how she moved the stars and would make silly pictures with them. It had a large dome that stretched far above them and had plenty of places to hide with all of the large pillars that were inside. It was perfect for Luna who was still dodging the beams of pure flame. Luna ducked into the spire and disappeared behind one of the pillars. Luna could hear the clip clopping of hooves as DayBreaker landed and started looking around. Luna wasn't really breathing, afraid that her very breathing would attract DayBreaker's attention. She kept an eye on the other alicorn's movements and moved when she had to. DayBreaker, however, was quickly getting annoyed. "COME OUT AND FIGHT ME COWARD", DayBreaker shouted, her mane and tail seeming to brighten with her anger. Luna moved, the silence going to her advantage. She was always the better flyer anyway. Luna came from above, slamming her hooves directly into DayBreaker's back in between her wings. DayBreaker cried out in surprise and pain as the floor cracked from the pressure. DayBreaker's tail engulfed Luna, attempting to burn Luna to ashes, but Luna put up a shield but she still felt most of the heat. Flying upwards, Luna spread her wings and flew out of the spire, hoping this time, that DayBreaker would follow. She did, and her eyes were filled with unrivaled hatred. Luna weaved through the other spires, heading back into the castle itself. Where she was going specifically would determine who won, who left alive. Luna burst into a long hallway with a velvet carpet leading to double doors. Luna headed toward the doors but a beam of flame hit the doors stopping her. DayBreaker landed a few feet behind Luna, her breathing labored. It wasn't because she was tired, she was far from tired. It was because she was growing more and more frustrated. Her anger was forming into a ball of flame directed at Luna. Her mane and tail was flaring up above her forming into that ball of anger. Luna paled and moved out the way, but barely. The ball of flame burned her left back leg. Luna winced as she smelled burning fur and flesh but got back up creating a shield of ice, actually, make that 18 shields of ice. She limped toward the doors that lay just a few steps ahead as she heard DayBreaker's chilling voice through the shields of ice. "Oh poor LuLu", DayBreaker crooned, "You got a little boo boo? How unfortunate....Let me patch it up for you!" Like glass, shield after shield shattered as DayBreaker laughed. Luna pushed open the doors and hurried toward the chest that lay on a golden pedestal. The chest was gold and red, the gold being in swirling patterns. Luna opened the box with her magic, six gems sitting inside, the one in the middle was a six pointed star. These were the Elements of Harmony, the very tools that her sister and herself used just recently on the Spirit of Chaos, Discord. Luna's moment of reminiscing was cut short, however, as the last shield of ice shattered. The force of the last blast almost knocked Luna off her hooves. "Ah there you are", DayBreaker said, stepping into the room, "Why do you hide from me LuLu?" "Only my sister is allowed to call me that", Luna hissed, turning to face her fiery assailant. "Am I not your sister", DayBreaker asked mockingly, "I am the same Celestia you know, but more expressive about what I want. You aren't what I want right now with you acting like you're high and mighty. I will have what I want Luna." "Then come and take it", was all Luna said as she lit up her horn. "Then let's dance dear sister", DayBreaker said, as the heat within the room grew more intense, filling in every corner of the room. They both lunged at each other, horns alight. Only one will leave, and they were both determined to make sure that it was them who walked out. > Chapter 5: Banishment of the Sun > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luna crashed into the pedestal that contained the Elements of Harmony, the chest falling and the gems tumbling out. They clinked to the ground, a few inches away from Luna who was laying on the floor with burn marks all over. DayBreaker was stronger than she though, using the heat in the room to her advantage. It was like pouring gasoline and sparking the liquid. DayBreaker was suddenly upon Luna, hooves just missing the elements. The alicorn of fire didn't even notice the elements. "Let Doctor DayBreaker take care of those burns", DayBreaker said lighting her horn, "Let me put you out of your misery." Luna lit her horn as well and met DayBreaker's beam of scorching fire with one of water. The beams were both struggling against each other, Luna losing ground. She lost even more ground when she looked at DayBreaker and saw........Celestia. Her big sister was there as she used to be. The regal and protective and nice sister that was always there when you needed a listening ear, or a shoulder to cry on. Luna's eyes widened a bit as she beheld what used to be her sister and her beam started to weaken. Only when the heat of the beam made it to her horn did she snap out of it. "AHAHAHA LOOSING STEAM LUNA", dayBreaker shouted. Luna grunted in exertion as Celestia burned away, replaced by the angered alicorn that was trying to end her. Luna shouted as the heat became unbearable. "You're weak", DayBreaker hissed, getting closer, "Just like Celestia. You lack a clear mind and you just lack power. That's what I want, power. You will never be as good as you think you are. You are nothing." Luna scowled and put more energy into her beam, standing up to DayBreaker. "Nay, it is you who lack the clear mind", Luna said, her gaze never wavering, "It is you who shall be banished!" DayBreaker didn't expect Luna to punch her in the muzzle. DayBreaker stumbled back and her own beam of magic weakened slightly. That was enough for Luna to put more energy into her horn and take out the beam of flame. DayBreaker shouted in pain and staggered back even more as she touched her smoking horn. The water beam that Luna had produce shot the fire back into DayBreaker's horn and put the fire out. Now DayBreaker was angry and hurt. She stomped her hooves on the ground, cracking it, and shouted in rage. "LUNA YOU WILL DIE",DayBreaker shouted. "Not today sister", Luna said. Luna was up, the Elements surrounding her. DayBreaker's eyes widened as her horn charged. "No no", DayBreaker shouted, firing a blast of fire at the Lunar Alicorn. The beam had no effect, as the shield that surrounded Luna made the beam bounce back toward DayBreaker. The fiery alicorn dodged, only singing the armor on her wings. Luna walked forward, the six-pointed star gem moving toward the center, in front of her horn. DayBreaker scowled and blasted a hole in the roof, flying up and out. Luna was after her with a few beats of her wings, the elements still around her. DayBreaker tried to lose Luna through the many towers above the castle but she was cut off at every escape route. Luna's face was expressionless, but if one looked closely, her eyes were shining with unshed tears. DayBreaker then whirled on Luna and fired the mother of all beams toward Luna. The beam was so large, that it took out almost all of the surrounding towers and most of the castle below it. Luna just charged up her horn and started the firing sequence. Tears finally slid free from her eyes as she looked one last time at what was her sister. This angry, twisted alicorn with a lust for blood, her blood. "Good-bye sister", Luna whispered as she fired. The rainbow colored beam shot toward DayBreaker's beam of fire and swallowed it whole. DayBreaker still pushed back, trying to push back the Beam of Harmony, but her eyes narrowed as the beam just got closer and closer. "NOOOOOOOO", DayBreaker shouted, as the beam enngulfed her and shot off toward the moon. The moon was going to keep her hostage and keep her powers in check. Sending her to the sun would only increase the mad alicorn's power further. There was a flash and then, a picture of a sleeping mare appeared on the moon, with a hint of a yellowish-orange aura. Luna landed in the destroyed throne room, letting the Elements clink to the ground. Luna slumped to the ground afterwards and wailed in anguish. Tears poured from her eyes and she slammed her hooves on the ground. Her sister, her loving sister, was gone. Luna looked up at the moon and kept crying. Suddenly, she heard whispers. They were whispers of comfort, saying that Celestia wasn't going to be gone forever. One day, her sister will return and she will be saved. Luna looked at the Elements of Harmony and was shocked. The Elements were glowing, that was the source of the whispering. She felt their love and comfort wash over her and she was able to calm down just enough to call the guards. Luna had work to do to readjust the kingdom to a sole princess, and to rebuild the castle. This will be a lot of work. Luna turned one last time to the moon and smiled softly. "Until we meet again sister", Luna whispered before walking away.
