I was in my school, Working on a project, School was almost done for the day. I looked at my work, I was way behind everyone like usual. I sighed. Life is so boring, Same old everything, Every day of the week, The only thing i had for distractions were probably video games and mlp, Also other shows. Conventions also happened sometimes but they were usually so short.
I looked back at my drawings, of Balloonie ponies, balloonie foxes, balloonie dragons... I was really obsessed with balloonie characters. Really though, The art is the closest thing I could get to be.... Myself.
Being a balloonie would be so much better than a human for me, Shame it's impossible.
~Meanwhile in Equestria...~
Twilight was also working on something, The portal to Canterlot High, trying to see if it could take her anywhere else, Spike was watching her.
"Spike! I think I did it! I found the spell that's responsible for interdimensional travel!" Spike looked at twilight "Cool!" Twilight readied her horn as she prepared the spell on the portal...
~Back to Earth...~
I got my bookbag, My jacket, and my phone, I started to walk past people, The halls were crowded. Hardly surprising though, Very expected for a high school.
I look at all the people, socializing, All the "popular" kids, I couldn't do that, as my social skills were... good but a bit socially awkward.
I often make mistakes, as my ADHD and Anxiety run rampant.
Anyway, Sometimes i'm glad to be not popular in my school.
I went out the door, breathing in fresh air, and i decided to stop in front of a little pedistal where noone seems to go in my school. I leaned up against it and was checking some social media.
~Back to equestria~
This was a hard spell for twilight, It took a lot of concentration and strength. Though she pulled through in the end.
"Phew.... I.... Think i did it?" She slowly walked toward the portal, and poked a hoof into the portal surface.
~Back to earth~
I heard a strange noise, And i saw a purple glow, And the pedistal i was leaning on.... It felt like i fell right through! "AAAH!" Colors, Lots of colors, I also felt my body contorting in weird ways.... and feeling... lighter? Then i blacked out.
~Equestria~
Twilight felt something...weird about the portal, she couldn't pinpoint what she was feeling. Then a pony flopped out of the portal, Twilight let out a little yelp, as she was startled. The portal also stopped glowing....
"Oh.... NO! NONONONO! NO!"
Twilight was never good at NOT panicking in this situation.
Spike walked into the room "Twilight! Are you okay!" Twilight was clearly freaking out.
"A pony fell out of the portal!" Twilight noticed a weird thing about this pony though... She was, blue, black, and very shiny, Super shiny, as if the pony was made of rubber. "That's.... odd. Whatever, We need to help her!" She took the pony on a bed, Doing a quick assessment... It seems the pony was just knocked out. "Oh. Phew. Seems like she's okay." Spike looked at twilight "Phew."
I woke up. Kinda dizzy, and really lightheaded. "Uuuugh." Something kind of sounded weird about my voice. "What happened to... my.... voice?" I sounded like a girl, huh, weird. But how?
Then I heard a voice talking to me "Take it easy." Wait. Is that tara strong? I live by vancouver so It wouldn't be completely out of possibility. I met her at a con once.
"What's happening?" I opened my eyes, and got greeted by.... Twilight sparkle? Okay. This is a dream.
"Oh.... cool dream so far." Twilight looked at me. "Dream? This is not a dream. You uh... fell out of a portal so uh... Welcome to equestria?"
I blinked. "But... this has to be a dream? You aren't real! Twilight sparkle is not real." She was confused. "How do you know my name if you came from another dimension? And well... I feel pretty real."
I went to punch myself in the face to test if it was real or not. Though I was greeted with a.... strange squeaky shiny black mass. Wait... am I a.... balloonie pony?
"Wait.... I'm... a pony!!"
I looked at various parts of my body... starting to smile at the fact that I have become what I've always wanted to be... a balloonie, even if it was a dream, it was one of the best dreams I've ever had. But it felt strangely real. Besides being super light.
My brain started to go at a million miles an hour, thinking of the things that I can do now that I'm a balloonie, my excitement buliding, hyperventilating, so happy. Also admittedly thinking of the fetishy reasons.
"Are.... you okay?" Twilight asked.
"I'm.... fine, just... going CRAZY. I mean. I'm a pony!"
I got up and tried to walk... on 2 legs, and I fell over.
Twilight tried to catch me. "Easy!"
I layed down on my back. I wanted to observe my body, properly, but I didnt want to do it in front of twilight. "Uh... sorry... could you uh.... take me to a room? I want to be... alone for a bit if it's okay."
Twilight looked at me with a little uncertainty, but said "Well... if it makes you feel better?"
I nodded. Then she picked me up with her horns magic, she took me to one of the castles many guest rooms "Just shout if you need anything!" She said
"Okay!" Then she closed the door.
I started to look around my body, seeing my rubbery hooves, and body. My body squeaking with every little touch and rub, I spotted my tail, a black tail with a lightning bolt design going down it, and I spotted... wings! Though I didnt know how to open them, I could figure that out later.
I tried to trot, seeing if it was like crawling, it felt like crawling but actually not that hard. Probably because pony hooves are designed for this.
I walked past a mirror, then I took a good look in it, and there I was... A black rubber pony, red but not unsettling eyes, blue mane and wings, I couldn't be happier at what I looked like, just like my art.
I looked at my forehead area, wait is that a horn? That must mean I'm.. an alicorn? What? How does that make any sense? I didnt do anything, whatever, it might just be because I drew myself as an alicorn in my art, I dont know.
I put my hoof up to touch it, holy crap that feels weird. Feeling an appendage that didnt exist before, Also being super light due to being a balloon, still a little bit light headed.
I sat down and poked my belly a little, my hooves squishing into it, I smiled at that, I wanted that too.
I closer examined my tail, noticing a balloon knot at the end of it, I giggled a little, I'm a balloon now.
I had thoughts of getting an air pump too a bit later. I could uh. Have fun with that? I blushed.
But then I realized, this could still be a dream, but.... dreams wouldnt allow me to get this excited, at least I don't think, last time I had a really good dream like this, I got too excited, woke up after 7 seconds.
Its feeling too good to be true though, but... it feels real, I mean maybe I should just enjoy it while I can! I dont think it would hurt.
I should ask twilight though about what she meant by alternate dimensions...
I got out of the room, and i trotted around, but the castle was so big, didn't know where twilight was
"Twilight?"
She popped out of a door, waving "You're okay! uh. Been doing a little bit of work! On the por- uh..... Thing! Yeah, the thing!"
Ponies were incredibly bad at lying, i knew something was up. "What thing?" I trotted into the room, seeing the portal.
Twilight trotted to me, "No use trying to hide it... I... was messing around with a magic spell, but it seems it went wrong, and well, it resulted with you here, It seems like its going to take a while to fix.... expect yourself to spend at least a few nights here, I'm sorry, It's all my fault!"
I thought of it for a bit. "Wait. What? You had a spell fail? that resulted in me getting booted into this world?" She nodded
"Yes, unfortunately so... I'm going to attempt to work on this, and uh, Sorry, I never asked for your name, I was going to push you back into the portal, but it's going to take a while to fix it, though it's weird how you know mine, Anyway, What's your name?"
I thought for a bit, Should i use my real name? or my pony name, I figured, well, If i'm in the MLP world, then i should use my pony name... "...Loonie skies."
"Nice name! guess that explains the... rubber look. Though i have no idea how a... balloon pony is possible. Anyway, another question I want to ask is, How do you know my name?" Twilight asked, curious.
Oh boy. this is going to be hard to explain. Figured she would take books better than a television show, as she wouldn't have much idea what that is. "Well, uh... You're part of a fictional story back in my world. Like.... in a book series?"
"Oh! Makes sense, there has to be an alternate universe where we are fictional in books, as anything is possible with alternate universes!" She said proudly. She took that better than i expected.
Twilight made a lot of sense there actually. "Makes sense, but I mean... I've always wanted to visit here anyway so, The portal being down for a bit, It'll give me a chance to... experience pony life, i guess."I said.
Twilight looked at me. "Well, If it's a dream come true for you, Then i'm glad i pulled you here instead of anyone else! I can't imagine how mad other people would be."
"Well, I'm the exact opposite of mad right now, Hehe." And i was. I was super happy to be living in a magical pony world, even if it was just temporary! Normal life is really boring. This life seems really interesting!
"Then.... Do you want to learn how to use magic? And maybe your wings? I have a friend who can teach you how to fly later." Twilight said.
I smiled. "Yeah! Definitely!"
~10 minutes later, after a lot of explaining and lecturing.~
Concentration. One thing that was hard for me, trying to do a simple telekinesis spell, to pick up whatever, was super hard, Mostly because i've never experienced magic before in my whole life. It was hard, Eventually i got my horn to light up. "Whoa! I did it! My horn is-" Fizzle. Pop. (berry twist) The horn fizzled out. "or not."
Twilight looked at me, in a teaching mode. "Got too excited? It's okay, Try again, and try to calm yourself. when you get your horn to light up again, Try reaching out your magic to the object."
Twilight was a good teacher. I closed my eyes, and concentrated, I felt the energy caress my horn, I opened my eyes, and tried to "reach my magic out", Was a strange way to explain it, but i pictured my magic going towards a lone apple on the table, Then the apple got surrounded in a magical aura, I saw twilight nod at me.
"Good, You're getting there, Now try to move it, like another hoof." Twilight said, I followed.
I felt the magic as another hand, And i tried to pick it up off the table, It was hard but, I saw indeed the apple was rising! I got excited once again! Then, all of the sudden the apple got thrown into the air due to excitement, and it landed on Twilight's horn, Perfectly coring the apple.
"Whoops... Sorry!" I said, concerned.
Twilight picked up the apple off of her horn and bit into it. "That isn't the first time that's happened." Then we both laughed.
~After an hour of telekinesis practice~
I seem to have gotten gripping objects, Multiple objects seem to be pretty hard for me for now, but i can definitely open doors and stuff. "Phew, I think i have gotten a good hang of it so far. Maybe i'll practice again later?"
Twilight looked at me. "Sure! Practice any time!"
I smiled, Then i suddenly remembered that, Maybe i should get out of the castle and explore Ponyville. I also wanted to meet Twilight's friends. "Hey uh, twilight, Can we explore ponyville? I really want to meet your other friends."
"Of course!" Twilight said happily!
I giggled a little, Then looked at my tail, Remembering that Oh yeah, I'm a balloon, I should see if pinkie has an air pump i could borrow. Then i remembered. Also i'm an alicorn, Wouldn't that cause some weird looks?
"Hey twilight?" I asked.
"Yes?" She asked back.
"Well, I'm an alicorn, should i... cover up my wings? I know there are not many alicorns." I asked.
Twilight looked at me. "Egh, I'm sure people wouldn't really pay attention to it."
Twilight opened the doors of her castle, I looked outside, immediately noticing how everything looked compared to home, everything was so bright, colorful, It was crazy to see in person. It was truely a kid's dream world. I saw lots of ponies, all looking happy, It looked like a really really happy town. Ponyville, I'm actually here! "Whoa..."
Twilight was trotting as i was in awe. "Are you coming?"
"Coming!" i hastily said, trotting and squeaking to twilight.
We trotted through ponyville for a bit, then a familiar pony rolled into my view... Pinkie.
"Pinkie!" Twilight said!
"Hiya twilight! And.." Pinkie gasped. A newcomer! "Welcome Welcome Welcome Welcooooooooome!" Then pinkie hugged me, for no reason? Whatever, It's pinkie.
"oooOOOOH. You're a balloooooon! I love balloons!" Pinkie said. I was a little bit blushy at that remark, also a little shy.
"uh... Yes."I said little bit shyly, I didn't know what to say to that.
"Anyway, Loonie skies, This is pinkie, She always brings smiles to people's faces!" Twilight giggled a bit.
"Hehe, I can see that." I simply said, Smiling myself.
"Ooooh! Your name is Loonie Skies! That name is sooooo cuuuute and fitting for you! I could just imagine you floating in the sky as a big helium balloon!" Pinkie said, daydreaming a little.
I stopped and blushed, my whole face going a shade of red. Now super shy, Did pinkie just tease me about that? That's something i've wanted for years... and it could happen now that i'm a balloon. "Um... Uh." I stuttered.
Twilight noticed my weird behavior. "Uh, Pinkie, can i take her to my other friends? We'll come back later."
"Alrighty! I'm still totally planning a super secret party for you! Wait, FORGET I SAID THAT!"
I giggled a little. Pinkie was a little crazy, but she is still a good pony. "So uh... where to next?" I wondered.
"Well... There is one thing i need to ask first, were you uncomfortable there?" Twilight asked.
"Well... Just something pinkie said kind of... reminded me of something i should say. Don't worry, it isn't bad, it's just an uhm, interest i have." I tried to say as best as i could. Seems i blushed easier as a balloonie.
"Ah, then i shouldn't really talk about it then, I thought you were uncomfortable. Anyway, Maybe who we meet next could be... well, you seem like the type of pony that could be good friends with her." Twilight stated.
"Huh?" I wondered.
"Her name is Fluttershy, she is a little shy but, I think you'd be able to get along with her." Twilight said.
"Hm. Alright." Fluttershy did seem like a pony I would like, she is a bit shy and timid, like me occasionally.
We wandered through ponyville, I am looking at things as we walk to Fluttershy's house, and i've been observing, everyone seems genuinely happy here, something like that probably wouldn't happen in my world, very unlikely to anyway.
We kept trotting towards the edge of ponyville, and we see a cottage, which i immediately recognize as Fluttershy's.
Twilight knocks on the door with her hoof. We wait for a bit, then Fluttershy opens the door, a bit slowly. "Oh Twilight! Hello! And who are you?" She asked.
"My name is Loonie skies." I said.
"Hello Fluttershy! Loonie skies is new here, She is going to be staying with me for a bit, and I figured, why not take her to see my friends!" Twilight said proudly.
"Hehe. Feel free to come in! I'll make some tea." Fluttershy said, very invitingly
We walked in, and I see... a lot of animals, a lot of them are asleep but.. there was this one bunny, looking at me funny, I looked at him back, and he hid. That was angel, i dont think he likes me at first glance. Oh well.
I trotted over to a chair that Fluttershy set up for me, and Twilight sat in another chair, After a bit of waiting, Fluttershy made some tea, and brought it out. "Thank you Fluttershy!" Twilight said.
"Thank you." I said.
I sipped some of the tea, It was pretty darn good actually. "Whoa. This tea is really good."
"Thank you." Fluttershy said, then she noticed something about me.
"Uh. Loonie, Why do you look... really shiny if you don't mind me asking?" Fluttershy wondered.
"Well uh.... I'm actually a living balloon." I tried to say as casually as i could, Still couldn't believe i was.
"O-Oh! That's nice..." Fluttershy blushed a little, and i didn't know why.
"Yeah! I need to see if i can figure out why or how she's a balloon pony, Makes no sense to me." Twilight said.
Fluttershy nodded, and I've been wondering about it too, I mean... it's always been my dream to be a balloonie, maybe the mirror picked up on my dreams? Or could it be something else...
Anyway, we talked for a bit, and then Fluttershy noted all the animals were starting to wake up, so we had to go for now.
"See you later Fluttershy!" Twilight said. I waved bye to Fluttershy.
"She was nice" I thought out loud. I mean, of course she was nice, She was Fluttershy!
"I'm glad you like her." Twilight said. "Anyway, What do you want to do next?" Twilight wondered. I thought, and i wanted more time to.... experiment on my body.
"Hey uh... Could we go back to the castle? I kind of want to get more used to my pony body. And uh... Could you ask... Pinkie if you could borrow an air pump? Just for uh, you know, if I deflate." This was partially true, but really... I wanted to try overinflating my body. I knew that Twilight wanted me to meet all her friends but.... Maybe later i'll meet her other friends.
"Ah, sure Loonie! I'll get the pump for you. Also it seems to be getting late anyway." Twilight pointed at the sunset that was currently happening, But i looked at it. Holy crap. Equestria is beautiful, This looks... really cool.
"Whoa... That is... Awesome!" I couldn't fit it into better words.
"I know. Celestia always makes beautiful sunsets... Also who raises the sun on your world?" She grabbed a little notepad.
Twilight has no idea. "Well... it kinda just, happens naturally, without anyone messing with it, It's automatic." I said.
Twilight was pretty surprised by that. "Huh... Interesting." She jotted down what i said into her little notebook.
"I could give you a full explanation-"
"YESPLEASEDOTHAT." Twilight looked at me with pleading eyes.
"...Later"
"Oh, okay. Tell me whenever then!" Twilight said excitedly.
Twilight apparently likes knowledge... that much, I mean it makes sense. She is usually out of books in the library.
"Alrighty. Anyway... Should we go to the castle now?" I asked.
"Yes, Lets go." Twilight confirmed.
We walked through Ponyville again, it looking beautiful throughout, And Twilight stopped by Pinkie to get the pump, And she got it, It was a decently sized manual pump... That'll work nicely... Anyway, We went into the castle, and Spike greeted us.
"Hello Twilight! and... Loonie? I think that's your name?" Spike asked.
"Yes, It is Loonie., Hello spike!" I said.
"Wait uh. How did you know my name?" Spike wondered.
"Well uh... In my dimension... You and Twilight, and Twilight's other friends, You guys are all part of a.... book series in my world, Like a comic book." Partially true, as Spike wouldn't really know what a television show is.
"Ooh! That's.... So... Cool! Am I a superhero?!" Spike asked, getting all giddy.
"Well.... Sorta, I mean, I know that you helped save the Crystal Empire." I said, matter of factly.
"You know about that?! That is super cool! I mean, I'm known for that interdimensionally!" Spike said, super excited
"Okay, I'm going to go comprehend this. In my room." He ran off to his room.
"Aw.... I think you just made his day!" Twilight said, Looking to me.
I giggled. It was cool seeing spike so happy.
"Anyway uh. Could i go to... The guest room I was in? And could i have the pump?" I asked.
"Sure!" She gave the pump to me and I grabbed it with my magic.
"Alrighty... uh, Where is it again? The... Room, that is?" I asked, The castle was pretty big.
"7th door on your left!" She said.
"Thank you!" I said.
"No problem, Just come to me if you have any problems!" Twilight said.
"I will!" I ran to the room, and got inside, making sure the door was locked, I got onto the bed, and looked at the pump for a little. And i blushed slightly.
I looked at the pump, Luckily it came with a pretty long hose-thing.
I wondered how I should go about this.... Though I decided, Sure, lets put it in my mouth. I gripped the hose with my magic, and put the hose in my mouth.... though that would be pretty hard to hold with my lips.... Maybe i'll just swallow it.
It was surprisingly easy to swallow part of the hose so it would stay in my mouth, Probably because i'm made of rubber. Now here comes the fun part...
I pumped once, and felt my body start to stretch out, Causing instant blushing on my end, Pumped a second time, noticing that my belly was pushing out. A third time. My body stretched further, and i looked at my belly so far, and I rubbed it a bit. causing a lot of squeaky noises. It felt really good though.
'Not big enough.' I thought. I started to pump slowly, but steadily, Blush increasing with every pump, Becoming a more cuter, and plump balloon with each pump. Eventually I got to the point where my belly started to get in the way, Though i was enjoying it thoroughly.
I rubbed my belly a bit, feeling a tiny bit of pressure but not that much, After that i decided to keep at it. enjoying the feeling of my rubber body stretching out, the pressure increasing super slowly, but steadily. I feel like i can get huge... absolutely gigantic, Like a parade balloon! but i shouldn't go too far today... It is my first inflation after all.
I decided to stop when i was the size of the bed, Well, maybe a little bit bigger than the bed. Anyway, I was struggling to move my hooves a bit, I spit the hose out and tried to rub my body.... I couldn't fit my hooves around my belly, And i liked that. If I didnt have magic... I would struggle a lot more, though I'm glad that I have magic right now.
Another thought crossed my mind. How did people not notice my horn? I looked at my mane and felt up there for a second, then i noticed that... my balloonie mane seems to hide my horn well, huh. Interesting.
Anyway, I wanted to look at myself in the mirror, but... one problem, my belly was blocking it, I giggled a little, and i tried to somehow get off the bed, i tried wobbling but that didn't work... then i had an idea! I grabbed my tail with my magic, and i pulled it, completely getting me off the bed, but ending up falling on the front of my belly, now looking straight at the mirror.
There I was... an adorable puffed-up pony balloon, squeaking and blushing. I was happy.
I looked at my puffy self, my body in a peary ish shape. And it seems my wings unfurled and puffed out too... I seem to have pretty big wings it seems, could be the extra air though.
Anyway, I looked over myself, I couldn't get over how cute I looked.
Then I heard knocking at the door, crap.
"Hey Loonie? Want to have some hay fries with me and Spike? They're quite good!" Twilight said through the door.
"Uh! Sure! Just give me.... a few minutes!" I said, a bit nervous
"Okay! Just meet me in the kitchen when you're ready!" Then Twilight left for the kitchen. I think.
I layed there for a little to make sure, then I was gonna get the air out.
But.... wait. I cant exactly breathe or burp it out... I'm a balloon... how am I going to do this?
I thought for a bit.... Then i had an idea. I put the pump into my mouth, swallowed the hose, and I took the hose out of the pump, and i started deflating slowly! It felt really weird, then again inflating felt weird too.
I deflated until I reached my normal size, and I pulled the hose out of my mouth. That was fun...
I put the pump away and put it beside the bed... I'll pump myself up again another time... maybe even bigger.
I opened the door and closed it behind me and I went to go see Twilight, it took a bit to find where the kitchen was, but I found it, Twilight and Spike were eating hay fries, And I sat down at the table.
"Hello Loonie! And uh.... I'm pretty sure you haven't eaten pony food before, but... trust me, it's good." Twilight said.
I picked up a hay fry with my magic. Observing it, it did look quite good... though I was a little scared to try it. What if it tasted horrible? I wasnt exactly a pony before this.
But i figured... why not try it?
"Well... I wasnt a pony before so... I guess I'll try it. I'm a little scared to." I said.
"Go ahead! I'm sure that your metabolism changed, the portal usually takes care of that." Twilight said.
"Lets hope so...." I slowly brought it up to my mouth, and I sniffed it, smelled pretty darn good actually. Then I took a bite.
My eyes widened, it tasted really good actually! "Whoa." I said.
Then i devoured the fry.
"Told you the portal changed your metabolism!" Twilight said.
"...Can i have more?" I said.
~A few minutes later~
Those hay fries were really good, I about ate as much as Spike, he apparantly really likes them.
Anyway, it was dark out, But... there has always been something about the night to me, And i was curious how an equestrian night looked like!
"Hey, Twilight?" I asked.
"What's up Loonie?" Twilight said.
"I... kinda want to take a walk outside, I know its sorta dark out but... I like the night." I said.
"Alrighty, Go ahead! Just be careful and don't go too too far, You need to find your way back!" Twilight stated.
"Alright." I said.
I trotted to the door outside, and opened it.
"Whoa." I said, immediately noticing how the sky was... a beautiful dark ish blue, and how everything was lit up very slightly by moonlight.
I trotted around, going behind the castle of friendship, and going out on a little hill, and I observed how beautiful things actually looked, It was quite breathtaking.
I relaxed there, had some time to think, I'm in a pony world for... I don't know how long... Not sure if i'd want to leave, Everything seemed too good to be true though.
"Nice to see someone else enjoys the night too!" I heard a voice.
I looked behind me and saw... None other than...
"Princess Luna?" I looked at her in awe, seeing her ethereal mane, For real!, It looked crazy cool. like the galaxy was right there.
"Yes, It is us." Luna said.
I tried to bow for respect, and I ended up bumping my head and horn against the ground, with a loud SQUEAK! "Whoops... Sorry!" I hurrily said.
"It is quite okay, What is your name?" Luna asked.
"Uh.... my name is... Loonie Skies." I answered.
She nodded.
"Nice to meet you Loonie Skies! I find... Huh..." She looked like she was observing me.
I just sat down, Looking at her observing me.
"Strange. You're.... a type of pony I have never seen before... And an alicorn..." Luna said.
"Hm..." I couldn't really input on this conversation.
"You are a gifted pony, Loonie Skies. You are an Alicorn, And... A pony made out of impossible material, It is quite interesting..." Luna said, genuinely interested.
"Well... I honestly don't know how i am... This, I just am." I said, No idea how to react to this.
"Well, I'm glad you are the way you are. Everypony has a thing that makes them special." Luna stated.
I nodded.
"Yes... Anyway uh.... I have to say something quickly, Your night is beautiful, I mean, Wow. And it's very relaxing." I said.
Luna blushed a little. "I'm glad you like my nights, It means a lot to me actually."
I giggled a little. "No problem!"
"Anyway, Loonie, I must go, Thanks for having this little conversation with me, If you want to talk again, Feel free to wait out here the next night, I will be there." Luna said.
"Alrighty! Have a nice night!" I said.
"I will, Loonie." Luna said.
Luna looked back at me with a smile, and then she flew away.
I came back into Twilight's castle, it was nice out there.... Twilight heard the door open and greeted me
"Hello, Loonie! How was it outside?" Twilight wondered.
"It was cool! It looked really nice out there..." I said. I figured i shouldn't tell her about my little conversation with Luna.
"So... it is getting late... I should go to bed. Or study. Not sure." Twilight said. Twilight sure liked her studying, but I was also feeling a bit tired...
"Oh, well... I'm feeling a little bit tired... Maybe I should sleep." I said.
"Hm, well, Good night, then! Have a nice sleep!" Twilight said.
"Alrighty, Guten Nacht." I said.
"Uh, what?" Twilight was curious.
"Uh, That means good night in German, a language back on earth." I said.
"Oh, cool! Anyway, Good night." Twilight said.
"Nighty." I said.
I trotted over to the room I was using, opening the door with my magic. After a bit of thinking, I got into bed, but... these darn wings, Also my tail. They were getting in the way.
I twisted and turned in the bed, trying to wiggle into a position that I felt comfortable in. Then finally, I got comfy, on my side
First night as a pony.... I was trying to comprehend it still, The reality of everything that has happened in the past hours, It was crazy, very crazy.
Then I drifted to sleep...
~Morning~
I had a dreamless sleep last night, well I mean, I probably had dreams, It's just I don't remember them.
Anyway, I got up, And Twilight opened the door, right on time!
"Good morning, Loonie! I made breakfast for you and Spike!" Twilight said.
"Oh, I'll be right there!" I said.
I got up and stretched out, and I finally figured out how to move my wings, my wings somehow had a bit of cramping, even though I had no bones somehow, huh? How does that work? Well... I'm in a magical pony world right now, I shouldn't question anything.
I stretched my wings out too and I just let them hang out in a relaxed position, it felt pretty good finally opening them properly, not through inflation means.
Though.... maybe I can sneak in one extra pump in me for today? No, people will notice.
...or should I say pony? Whatever.
I walked out of the room and looked for the kitchen again, it wasn't too hard as i heard a lot of kitchen noises.
I trotted in and tried to wave with one of my hooves, though I ended up losing balance a bit by doing that.
Twilight and spike were eating, Twilight waved back, it seems we had pancakes on the table!
Twilight set up a plate for me, it looked really good. I sat down at the table and picked up a fork using my magic, and had a bite, It tasted really good actually!
"Thank you Twilght! This is really good." I said politely.
"No problem! Celestia's recipe!" Twilight said proudly.
"She makes it better than me, Anyway, these are pancakes, Loonie." Twilight said.
"Well we have pancakes on my world too, it's pretty much the same thing." I replied.
"Huh. That's interesting..." Twilight said, then she pulled out a notebook from... nowhere? How do ponies do that? Oh well. Anyway, she wrote something in the notebook and resumed eating.
We ended up talking about various different things, Twilight testing my knowledge of this world, she was surprised that I knew as much as I knew but it was clear I needed some more knowledge in my brain.
But wait. I'm a balloon. How can I think? I'm an airhead! I have no brain!
Oh well. Best not question it.
~After Breakfast~
Huh. Something interesting happened, After breakfast I've been noticing... my belly being a bit bloated. Wait. I remember when I made my balloonie self character, My body would convert food to air, it must be like that here! Ah well, I kinda like being like this anyway, I feel like I'm meant to be puffy.
Anyway, I was talking to Twilight after breakfast, and she mentioned that she hasnt told Celestia yet that there is a 6th Alicorn in equestria. So she went to send a letter to her.
I spent this time exploring the castle a bit. Its bigger than it looks, the inside that is.
And all of a sudden... Twilight comes trotting to me.
"Loonie. You, Me, Canterlot, Now." Twilight said in a urgent tone.
Oh boy... what's gonna happen now?
"W-What?" I stammered. "Am I in trouble?" I wondered.
"No, Celestia said she wanted to see you ASAP. But that means... long range teleportation. You might get a little disoriented. Already told spike we need to go, told him to tell all my friends that we need to go. Anyway, are you ready?" Twilight said.
This was all happening so fast but... Twilight cannot be tardy.
"Alright... let's go." I said.
Twilight focused, and touched me on the hoof. She let the purple aura encase us and... bam! Right outside of the throne room in Celestia's castle.
I was a bit dizzy... more lightheaded than usual. But I got through it.
A guard bowed to Twilight.
"Welcome, your highness. The princess has been expecting you and your friend. A stallion in royal guard armor said.
"Yes, thank you sir." Twilight said.
"My pleasure." the guard said. and he trotted away.
"Sorry... guards always treat me extra special around here, I suppose it's fine but it still feels weird. Even after a few years after becoming a Princess." Twilight said.
"Well... they usually treat Princesses with respect, eh?" I stated.
"I suppose you're right, Also you're talking like someone from Vanhoover." Then she giggled.
"Actually... on my world, I come from a city called Vancouver, Coincidence? I think not." I said
"Hah! wow! So our worlds locations are alike in some ways! Anyway, we need to see the princess. Lets enter the throne room." Twilight pointed to the big doors.
I was a little bit nervous to meet Celestia. It's not a common thing to meet a princess of an entire huge part of a planet, the one who has almost limitless power, Though I know she's nice, I was still a bit nervous.
I see Celestia. The ruler of Equestria, right in front of my eyes, I'm shaking a little as this is pretty crazy.
We walk down the hall, My balloonie body squeaking with every step, and we see the guards salute us. Probably saluting Twilight though. As you know, She's a princess and all that. Anyway. We stop right in front of Celestia, Celestia having a very friendly smile, Though I was a little intimidated as she was quite taller than me, But she looked quite friendly. I have to remember that she's quite silly in the show though.
I went to bow, But I ended up slamming my horn into the ground, and falling onto my butt. Pony balance isn't easy when you have been something on two feet most of your life, Not to mention i'm also really light.
I all of a sudden freak out since I JUST FELL IN FRONT OF THE RULER OF EQUESTRIA.
I get up quickly.
"Sorry!... Princess...." I quickly say, embarrassed.
Celestia let out a little chuckle.
"It's okay. What's your name?" Celestia asked.
"L-Loonie skies." I said. It's still weird referring to myself as that.
"It is nice to meet you, Loonie Skies. And hello, Twilight." Celestia said.
"Hello Princess! I'm sorry I didn't notify you sooner." Twilight said, kind of embarassed.
"It is okay. Though we have to discuss a few things, I would like to talk to Loonie first, In private that is." Celestia said.
"Okay! I... guess I'll leave the room for a bit. I'll wait just outside." Twilight said, then trotted out of the room.
After Twilight left, the doors closed.
"So, you were brought here by accident... right?" Celestia asked.
I nodded my head.
"Then... we must find a way to get you back. Though it might take months." Celestia said.
Wait. Go back? Months? I was already in my dream happy place, I don't want to go back!
"Hey... I... don't want to go back! My world is- wait..." I said, realizing that.... my friends, my family.
Celestia looked at me with a confused expression.
Then I spoke.
"As much as I dont want to go back... I just realized, I uh... still have folks back home, I know it's possible to get back home, Since i got here anyway. But I want to... be able to come here as well." I admit it, I haven't thought about that.
Celestia looked at me with understanding. "You... want to go back but, also stay here?"
I nodded.
"Why do you want to stay here?" Celestia asked, really wondering why.
"Well... my world is... boring. Plus this land is full of friendship, and peace, and my world has so much chaos. And conflict." I said.
"Sounds like my type of place." A mystery voice said.
"Huh?!" I was startled.
All of a sudden I see a draconequuis floating above me and Celestia, dropping down using a parasol.
"Discord? Were you eavesdropping?" Celestia said, in surprise.
"Ah yes, Dear Celestia. How could I not ignore our dimensional visitor? She reeks of chaos!" Discord said.
"What?!" I said, both surprised and startled that I'm actually meeting the lord of chaos.
"Come on. I mean, You're a balloon for Celestia's sake! You don't make sense, I don't make sense. I feel like I should get to know you!" Discord said, genuinely happy looking? But he could fake things. But something told me he wasn't faking it.
Well, Discord is a good creature, Chaotic but, new to friendship still.
"Well... I mean, Sure! why not. I guess... Making more friends equals a good thing?" I said, then I facepalmed internally. My gosh that was awkward, I'm definitely screwing this up.
"Oh! I am delighted to hear that!" Discord said, really glad. "So uh, How do I forge a bond so I can increase our social link? Confidant? What's the right term..."
Wait, how does he know- I went to speak. "Wait, You play Pers-"
"Annnnyway," Discord interrupted me. Has he been getting lessions from Pinkie Pie or something? "I guess I can meet with you some time, I have tea time with Fluttershy coming up soon, So I have to get to that, anyway, I will take the proper time to meet you some day! Properly that is. Toodles!"
Discord then opened a door out of nowhere, and went through it. My gosh, isn't he just full of video game references? He probably doesn't even know what video games are!
Celestia smiled. "Seems like discord likes you, It would make sense though, He is rather... chaotic, and makes no sense most of the time. I guess you don't make sense either, Your physical body that is." Celestia said.
"Oh, yeah I can get it. I guess I am, well, Not normal." I stuck my wings out and flapped them slightly, them squeaking a little bit. "Not to mention I'm... an alicorn." I remembered. Why was I an alicorn?
"I still don't know the reasoning for that, Maybe because this is your ideal self? Though alicorn power doesn't just... materialize like that. I haven't seen anything like this happen. Or you might look like an alicorn, and not have alicorn magic. Or maybe you do... Can I check?" Celestia asked.
"Uh. as long as it isn't painful, Sure." I replied.
"Okay. Well, this might tingle a little." Celestia trotted towards me, and placed one of her hooves on my horn. her horn started to glow, and her hoof also glew brightly.
It did tingle a bit, felt really strange, but I also felt this nice, warm feeling. Then she released her hoof after a while. My horn glew a little bit afterward.
"You do have alicorn magic... It's very weak though, It would need to be trained to get as strong as Twilight's or mine. This is surprising." Celestia said, a bit surprised.
I guess I am a full blown alicorn in this world, Though my character is a shapeshifter... at poe's masquerade, Hiding- No, stop. Get that song out of your head, Darn it discord, You got my mind on video games. "Hm... Alicorn magic..." It doesn't make too much sense but, I mean, i'll take it.
"Anyway, The day is still young, Would you... Want to explore the capital of Equestria? There is much to do out there." Celestia said.
"I.." I was going to accept but i remembered, I needed to meet more of Twilight's friends back at Ponyville. "I would, but I was going to meet Twilight's other friends, I think I will explore soon though."
"Oh! You go meet them then. I also have to give you something before you leave. It's my way of saying: Welcome to Equestria." Celestia said, levitating me a small pouch.
"Oh?" I opened the pouch, and, I see some small gold coins in there. "Bits? oh, Thank you!"
"No problem, This one is on me. You don't owe me anything." Celestia said.
Suddenly a discordant draconequuis appeared out of nowhere! "The only time you would owe Sunbutt anything is if you ate her cake!" Discord said loudly. Then disappeared.
Whoa, he startled me. but, Wow. I started giggling a bit.
"Discord!" Celestia shouted! and was blushing.
"Anyway... It was really nice to meet you nonetheless, Thank you for the bits, and have a nice rest of your day, Princess! I will make sure not to eat your cake in the future." I said, still giggling a little after i said "make sure not to eat your cake in the future"
Celestia sighed. probably knowing the joke was now just out there. And she just accepted it it looks like. "Well, if you do, you heard discord. Have a good day to you too, Loonie skies." Celestia said.
I bowed and squeakily trotted through the huge doors, seeing Twilight with a weird expression on her face.
"Huh?" I wondered.
"I heard some yelling, Did things go okay? Does she hate you? Does she want you gone?" Twilight started to hyperventilate a bit.
"Oh, uh... Things went fine, you know discord though, He managed to get in." I said. I guess the doors are a bit sound proof.
Twilight nodded and sighed with relef. "Oh, you know about him? Yeah, he can be a bit...." I stepped in. "Chaotic?"
"Yes." Twilight said.
"He wants to be my friend though, which is surprising. Apparantly i "reek of chaos"" I said.
Twilight nodded again "Yeah, actually that's not very surprising, you don't make sense. Your body that is."
I nodded.
"Anyway, I'll go in now. I won't be long." Twilight said. I nodded and watched her go in. She closed the doors, and I waited outside, And I looked around the enterance to the throne room. I looked at the guards and squeaked a bit, Wait... Huh. That guard looks familiar. Oh! It's Flash! I honestly forgot he was originally a pony.
~7 minutes later...~
Twilight walked out of the room, done her part of the talk with Celestia.
"So, What did you tell her?" I asked.
"Well, Just some things you told me, You owe me some research. Later though." She said.
"Yes, I do owe you some explanations..." I remembered.
"Anyway, we should get back home, to my castle. Ready for long range teleportation round 2?" Twilight asked.
"Well, Yeah! Lets go." I said.
"Okay. Just get near me, and i'll cast the spell." Twilight said, and I got near her, She started to cast the spell again, and after a little bit of time... POOF!
I shook my head slightly as I was recovering from the teleport, Really lightheaded again.
"Are you okay, Loonie?" Twilight asked, as I was recovering.
I closed my eyes and stretched out. then returned back to a relaxed position."Sorry..... just not used to it. I have never teleported back in my world. There's no magic there! But... i'm fine."
"Oh, that's understandable. when I first teleported, I puked. I had to clean it up, Ewww." Twilight said, sticking her tounge out
I giggled a bit. "You looked nauseous that first Summer Sun Celebration. but... i've always noticed the more I saw you in the series back at home, The better you got at it."
Twilight nodded. "Yes! I mean. It's one of those things where: The more you do it, the better you get at dealing with it!"
"C'est la vie, eh?" I said.
"Say la what now?" Twilight questioned.
"English translation: Well, that's life!" I said.
"English? Oh! We call it Equish here! How interesting...." Twilight said as she pulled out her notepad from nowhere and began jotting down notes. I've eventually stopped questioning it.
"Hm, strange that our languages are different, but the same at the same time." I thought out loud.
"Yup! More reason to believe that your world is just an alternate universe." Twilight said proudly.
Wait, Equestria could be an alternate universe.... haven't thought of that. one where the cartoons are part of the world, and the humans well, Were humans here? Were they forgotten? Maybe humans died out in this world...
"Wait, Twilight. Do you know if humans existed on this world?" I asked.
Twilight smiled and went into a bit of a lecture mode. "Hmm.... I think some ancient... fossils were dug up here, Which i'm sure you're aware there's another human world. Where Canterlot High is. I studied some books from that library over in that world. and compared the pictures to the pictures of the fossils we dug up. They seem to be pretty similar, Though Canterlot High's bone structures are a bit wider proportioned than the ones we dug up. We have reason to believe that evolution was a little different than what happened here." Twilight stated.
"Hm, then... Humans probably did exist here." This was an interesting thing.
"Probably! Anyway, We can meet some of my other friends today. Do.... you want to... walk around ponyville? I need to be somewhere. That whole canterlot thing happened unexpectedly. I have somewhere to take you. I promise you, You'll love it." Twilight said.
"Hmm... Sure?" Where does Twilight want to take me? She already told her friends that we needed to go to Canterlot, something doesn't add up.
"Alright! Follow me!" She trotted up to the door and opened it. I followed.
As I followed Twilight, my body was squeaking and creaking as I followed, and I noticed, Ponyville was a little barren. There was... Less ponies trotting around. Hm.... uh, What's happening?
"Just right here." Twilight said.
We were in front of a large building, hmm... What is this place?
I opened the door with my magic, and the lights were off it seemed.
"Huh, what is-"
SURPRISE!!!
I jumped and squeaked, as the lights suddenly turned on. All of a sudden I see many, Many ponies. Pinkie pie, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Spike, Rarity.... And almost all the residents of Ponyville! There's a banner that says "WELCOME TO PONYVILLE!"
"Whoa!" Us... going to Canterlot allowed them to set up a whole.... surprise party in the meantime?
Pinkie went up to me, and smiled "Yeah! you were expecting the party, but you didn't know.... WHEN! so, SURPRISE!" All of a sudden i'm getting showered in confetti by a randomly placed party cannon!
It was quite cool to see this. "Wow! Actually, I'm impressed! Thank you!"
"And this is the new pony in town, huh?" Rainbow Dash hovered above me, Curious.
Wow. It's.... Actually Rainbow Dash. "Yes! I've been staying at Twilight's place." I stated.
"As long as Twilight's fine with you, i'm fine with you. But don't do anything bad to her. Or i'll be on your flank." Rainbow said, A little seriously.
"I'm.... not gonna-"
Applejack stepped forward. "Calm down Dash, I know you're loyal 'n all, but she has no bad intentions, Believe me, I can tell." Applejack winked and offered her hoof. "Howdy, Loonie Skies! I'm Applejack! Sorry about dash, no offence."
"Come on, I'm just trying to protect you guys! well... I guess I do go a little far, hahaha..."Rainbow Dash laughed nervously to herself.
"It's 'kay, Sugarcube, I understand." Applejack said.
I went to shake her hoof, She ended up picking my whole body up when trying to shake it.
"Whoa! Okay, I heard Spike tell me you were A balloon pony, but I didn't believe it. You're, So light." Applejack said as she put me down.
I giggled as I was being put onto the ground again. "Well, I am. I don't know how I am, but I am."
Applejack laughed slightly. "Well, If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
I giggled slightly.
Rarity trotted up to me and looked at my body. "Oooooh. You just gave me an idea. Inflatable rubber fashion! It seems like you'd be PERFECT FOR THAT IDEA!" Rarity looked really excited, and i thought of the idea. Whoa. That's a good idea!
"That's actually, A really good idea!" I said.
"Oh, you'd look lovely in it. Oh, Pardon me. Where are my manners? My name is Rarity." She held her hoof out too.
"Loonie skies." I said, as I shook her hoof, her paying much more attention to my weight.
"Pleasure to meet you, Loonie Skies." Rarity said.
Then Pinkie came up to me, Twilight joined our little group too.
"So, these are my other friends! I hope we can all get to know you better, Loonie!" Twilight said.
"Oh, And i'm sorry I didn't introduce myself either. Name's Rainbow Dash, The fastest Wonderbolt in Equestria!" Dash said.
"I'm aware actually. Hehe." I said.
"Wait, An interdimentionated pony knows.... how awesome I am?! THAT'S... AWESOME!" Rainbow dash did a flip.
"Yeah yeah, whatever. All I know is that, IT'S AWESOME!" Rainbow dash said excitedly.
I giggled and squeaked. "Well, I know you guys from a series in my world. I know many many things about you ponies. Speaking of which, There's, supposed to be a movie coming out soon. I haven't seen any sneak peeks at it though."
"A movie? hm. Well, My first ever Friendship Festival is coming up, Would you like to come? Maybe the movie is about that." Twilight wondered.
"Yeah, i'd love to come! Sounds fun." I said. But I had this... Weird feeling in the back of my head. Nah, it's nothing.
"Well, Okay! I can probably book another room in Canterlot for you." Twilight said.
"Oh, Sweet!" I said.
Pinkie suddenly slipped in. "Oh, lets worry about this party first! let's get this party.... STARTED!" Pinkie said as she put a record on a record player, playing some pony-ish party music, I don't know what made it pony like, But it seemed like it.
Everyone started to dance, and I listened to the music, I then noticed... Fluttershy didn't come up to talk to me, She was acting shyer than she did when I visited her.
I trotted up to her and I wondered if there was anything wrong. "Uh. Fluttershy? Are you okay?"
"Uhm... Yes, I am. I'm okay... don't worry about it." She said.
Something wasn't okay. I wasn't too good at helping, But I could try.
"Uh, That.... I don't think you are okay." I said.
"Well... I mean, I'm okay but, I want to talk to you about something after the party, If it's okay. Maybe tomorrow?" I heard her say.
"Oh, okay. I'd be up for that." I said.
Fluttershy nodded. "Thank you, Loonie. Now, let's have some fun at the party, I'm uh, not really much of a party animal, that's uhm, more Pinkie's thing. But i'm happy to join!"
"Hehe, well. I guess we can all join in what Pinkie is doing and for me to socialize with the ponies around the neighbo-" Then I noticed Pinkie trying to pin the tail on the pony, She was blindfolded and coming my direction. I tried to leap out of the way, but I slipped, and-
POP!
~Pinkie's POV~
Where oh where was that pony I pinned on the wall with cheap sticky tak I bought from the 1 bit shop? Maybe it's this direction!
I trotted forward, and I hit, POP! Whoops! I hit a balloon. Fluttershy screamed though.
I took my blindfold off and went to comfort Fluttershy. "Oh come on, Flutters! It's just a-"
Then I saw it. I just... Popped our new guest! oh no. OH NO. I felt as tears welled up in my eyes as I looked at the scraps, Ponies looking in horror at what I have just done. I.... Did I just.... Murder somepony?
I looked at the scraps and started crying, while on the ground. Then, I saw a gentle glow emanating from the scraps, We all watched in awe, and fear as the scraps started to clump together where I popped Loonie Skies.
And all of a sudden, The scraps started to take on a vague pony-like shape, and.... Wait.
~Loonie Skies's POV~
My vision went all over the place for a few seconds, What just...... All of a sudden I was back, Pinkie was looking up, with tears in her eyes. Everyone was looking at me in shock. Everything was quiet.
"...Pinkie? What, uh. Happene-"
Pinkie suddenly tackled me. "DON'T YOU EVER SCARE ME LIKE THAT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!" She started to cry as she hugged me tightly.
You could hear the crowd that gathered around me sigh with relief. The rest of the mane 6 were also relieved.
"Loonie! you're okay!" Fluttershy said, as she hugged me too. "Thank Celestia!!!!" Twilight hugged me too. Meanwhile i saw Applejack, Rarity, and Spike just sighing in relief. "If you were dead, Sugarcube. That.... would have been really bad." Applejack said.
Meanwhile I saw Rainbow Dash, with a mug of Apple Cider. "Uh.... What'd I miss? Why is everyone quiet? Why is everyone hugging the new pony?"
I think I know what happened. Luckily, one thing I designed about my character is that, whenever I pop, I reform.
"Pinkie, did you.... Pop me?" I wondered.
Rainbow Dash seemed surprised.
"YES! YOU GAVE ME A HEART ATTACK!" Pinkie said. "Luckily, I have my post traumatic cupcake for this very situation!" She ate her secret post-traumatic cupcake "BUT I'M SO SORRY..... I DIDN'T MEAN TO, IT WAS AN ACCIDENT! AND IF I ACTUALLY KILLED YOU...."
I stuck a hoof in her mouth. "Don't worry about that. I.... Might know about my reforming ability... Sorry for not telling you sooner...."
"Pinkie promise you won't scare us like that again?" Pinkie asked with a pleading sad face.
Pinkie promise? hmm... let's see if I remember.
I still wasn't good at using my hooves completely properly. "Cross my heart and hope to fly, Stick a cupcake in my ey-" I poked my eye. Ow! "Euuuugh."
"Huh, you really do know everything around here. Apology accepted. but... i'm still a little shaken. Sorry... I guess no more pin the tail on the pony tonight, Everypony." Pinkie said.
Everyone seemed to go "Aw" at this, but a lot of ponies understood why.
"Now, let's stop being downers. We got a party to finish!" Pinkie said, back to her joyful self. Then putting on the party music again.
"Pinkie's right. Let's just ignore this little mishap. This should only be the least of our worries, Heh. Though you did mighty scare me. But I forgive you! We didn't know. Now we do, It's a learning experience!" Applejack said.
"I don't know how that was possible, But I'm so glad you're not dead! And Applejack is right." Twilight hugged me a little tighter. The air in my body getting squished to my face and belly, causing them to bulge out. "Oh, whoops, too hard? Sorry." Twilight let go.
"Oh, it's okay... Sorry for scaring you guys, again. I didn't even know I could pop. I mean, I did, but... I also didn't.... I guess what I can say is, I wasn't sure what would happen if I popped, Well, at least we know now!" I said.
Fluttershy was still hugging me. "Thank goodness still... And you're right. Oh! Sorry." She stopped hugging me.
"Oh, It's okay... If anything uh, The hugs were nice..." I blushed and squeaked.
"Oh?" Fluttershy wondered.
Now, I never liked hugs much as a human but, for my first time being hugged as a pony... It's nice.
I nodded and squirked."Yeah... well, I think maybe we should party now, hehe."
Everyone nodded, ready to experience Pinkie's party.
That party was great, Lot of dancing and talking, I got to know some of the neighbourhood, Heh... NEIGHbourhood. I'll stop now. I met some very nice ponies, Lyra, which ranted to me about humans. I.... didn't end up telling her I was a human because she probably would of kept me hostage if she knew... Bon Bon, Her and Lyra are probably secret marefriends though... Haha. And DJ-PON3 herself! She also actually has a voice! We talked about Electronic music, Although why she said she doesn't talk often is she just, doesn't when preforming or listening to her music. She likes to let the music speak for itself. That's her way of talking. There were more ponies to talk to but I ended up not talking to them because I couldn't find time. Oh well, there's always next time.
I woke up. Stretching my body, and my wings, Loud squiiiiiiirks coming from my body.
Wooof.... Last night was pretty tiring. Anyway, I have to see Fluttershy today. She wanted to talk to me. I.... think I remember where her cottage is? If I don't i'm sure I can figure it out. Pathfinding has always been a strength of mine when it comes to locations. Anyway, I looked at my body in the mirror as I got out of bed. My belly was... bulging out a bit. Oh! I... had some food last night, that's why. Oh, well. I... could deflate, but... nah. Noone will really notice... I don't think. Will they? hmm...... nevermind.
I trotted out of the room. I trotted over to the Library and I saw Twilight packing her bags for the Friendship Festival. As it was tomorrow... Apparantly soon means tomorrow! Why didn't she tell me before? Oh well...
"Hey! Twilight!" I said as I entered the library.
"Hey, Loonie! Are you ready for the Friendship Festival tomorrow? I really hope my plan works out, asking the Princesses to make A super crazy crystal that refracts light, making a fancy looking rainbow effect? Ah Loonie... Do you think they'll accept my idea? I need this Friendship Festival to be PERFECT. It's the first one! What if I don't make a good impression of the celebration? What if they decline? What if they... just... UUUUUUUGH!" Twilight gripped her head a little with her hooves.
Oh... anxiety... I know how this feels.
"Well... to be honest well... the worst they can do is decline, but that's not the end of the wor-" I began to say but Twilight cut me off
"If they decline, I won't know what to do! That's why i'm panicking!" Twilight said, not irritated with me but super worried.
"Twilighting on the new pony? Ah, come on twi." Spike suddenly entered the room. "It's gonna be fiiiiiiiine, me and you know it's gonna be fine. And if they do decline, you still have your friends helping you all the way! Though I doubt that's gonna happen, You're 'Princess' Twilight Sparkle for a reason!"
"But... well... You're right spike, But it'll take a while for me to gather my thoughts. But I can do this. Hopefully. All I have to do is... Ask!" Twilight said.
"There's nothing wrong with asking!" I said.
"I'm still a little scared to. I mean, It's easier said than done. I mean, Asking favours especially from the Princesses... Well.. I'll still be planning out things for a bit Loonie, Didn't you say you had to speak to Fluttershy today?" Twilight said.
My ears perked up. "Oh, right! Well, I'll go to Fluttershy's place! I'll probably help you with some Friendship Festival prep later. I know you gotta be early, I'll take the train with your friends tomorrow, as planned."
Oh, yeah, we planned some stuff after the party yesterday... I'm going with Twilight's friends on the train, Never took an actual train, unless you count the Skytrain back at home. Though that's more of a subway.
"Oh! I would definitely love some help. Uh, I mean, Thank you. I can't really think for a role for you at the Friendship Festival for volunteering right now... because of the short notice, but you could ask my friends if they need help!" Twi said.
"So.... it's your first Winter Wrap Up." I said, giggling. "Just joking."
"Oh, no it won't be like that, Problem is I didn't have anything to do, but YOU have opportunities to do things with my friends. Also, There's magic." She lit up her horn as she said that.
"The Magic of friendship? ... Gosh that sounds cheesy." I said.
"Definitely! And, why would it sound cheesy? It's the most powerful magic of all!" Twilight wondered.
"Well, I mean, that saying is constantly memed on in my world, usually seen as a super cheesy thing, but I gotta remember, I'm in your world. it's totally acceptable to say that here." I stated "Sorry, Pony culture shock."
"Ah, That's really weird... Why would ponies hate.. Ahem, people hate friendship? Unless they were villains?" Twilight said.
"Well.. You remember what I said about us being... technically beings of chaotic nature? Or what discord said about me? There's a lot of entropy happening around the world, and, A lot of people don't get along. To be honest, if you saw it you would, well, think it's crazy. but "The magic of friendship" is pretty fictional there, and as I said, it's constantly memed on. It doesn't mean we can't make friends, but it's just, harder to make friends I guess." I stated.
"Huh, interesting." She pulled her notepad out of nowhere and writ things down. "Also, What's a meme?" She asked innocently.
Oh... my... god... How do i... The look on my face was horrified.
"Uh, are you okay? You looked like you just drank a load of hot sauce." Twilight asked, a little worried.
"Well, it's something you gotta SEE to believe, Maybe if I make it back to my world, I can show you... though be warned, it's crazy." I said, clearly not able to explain memes properly.
"Huh! Well, Alright! I'll add that to my bucket list!" Twilight writ down something and put her notepad away.
"Also, something I noticed, Loonie, is that you uhm. I'm not calling you fat, but, uh." Twilight hinted at something, having her hoof touch her own belly.
I looked at mine, Crap... just when I thought noone would notice me being a little bloated. I blushed a little.
"Oh, I mean, I hope it's not a sensitive topic, Do you need to go on a diet?" Twilight asked.
I giggled a little.
"Nah, when I eat it gets converted into Air, I just uh, haven't deflated myself since I ate last night, uh, Y-yeah." I figured i'd refrain from telling her I enjoyed it... maybe I'll reveal my interest to her one day.
She writ this on her notepad too. "Ah, makes sense, but also adds more mystery... Anyway, I gotta keep preparing, Fluttershy is also probably preparing, but she doesn't have too much to do, She said she was going to let her animals roam around for a bit around her cottage, and get them ready for tomorrow later. See you in a bit Loonie!" She gave me a small hug. I blushed a little from it
I hugged back, and, Well.. Twilight has always been my favorite pony so, just seeing her hug me out of the blue, last night didn't really count, as it was kind of a panic. but this is... nice. I may of kept the embrace for a bit too long. Uhm. I mean, it's safe to say that I have a little bit of a cru- No, it's too early for that crap... plus you only know her from a show, She knows NOTHING about you.
"Uh, Loonie, you can let go now..." Twi said.
"Oops!" I blushed a bit. "Sorry, I enjoy hugs. I hope you don't mind. as I know people can sometimes hate hugging for too long..."
"Oh, that's okay, Hugging is normal, another culture shock?" Twilight asked.
Oh yeah, ponies are a lot more cuddly than humans. "Yeah. a bit, haha... Sometimes people are appalled by physical contact." I stated.
"Oh, makes sense why you acted like that now, see, I'm learning! Anyway, you better make it off to Fluttershy. See you!" Twilight said and waved.
"Tschüss- I mean, see you!" I said as I trotted out of the library.
Yeah, I know. I started writing this when I was still in highschool actually, fastforward to 2022 i've been doing a lot of different things. It's really been a while since ponies were on my mind, and honestly I need to do more pony stuff.
I'm not sure if I'm going to continue this story but I might pick it up again in the future. Hah, as i was writing this sentence Windows 10 gave me a "look back at your memories" and it showed a picture of a balloon pony. Honestly it makes me want to pony more.
Anyway, I've been doing mostly VR stuff, 3d modelling and occasional 2d art, I wrote this when my life was pretty much falling apart, and honestly it was sort of coping for the bad situation I was in but honestly while that time of my life had strange memories, I still love ponies a lot. Mostly the plot points in the story were based on what was happening at the time in the MLP universe when I was fully discovering MLP. (was watching the show since 2017, also my life is better now, don't worry about it xP)
Also i've technically had chapter 9 1000 words in but I just never released it because I sorta stopped writing the story for some reason.
Anyway, i'll probably have to put this story on hiatus, but I want to continue it, honestly not sure yet. i'm glad I checked fimfiction today though.
I also had ideas of other stories related to Loonie Skies, little spinoffs focused on inflation and such, maybe anthros as well but yeah.
