Cadence was excited for her outdoor resort vacation. A chance to get away from her duties for a week of relaxation. Unfortunately, a botched teleportation spell now places Cadence in the middle of the Everfree, far from her original destination. What's worst is that she isn't the only one lost in the Everfree. Will the two lost souls be able to put aside their enemy status and work to survive? More than that, will something between them begin to grow over time?

How it all started...

Cadence adjusted the straps on her small travel bag. Today was the big day. The day her vacation was going to begin. Cadence smiled to herself as she finished the last symbol on her chalk drawing. The long range teleportation spell was almost ready. Just as she was about to begin the enchantment, a knock came from the door to her room. Cadence lifted her head and walked over to her door, being careful not to mess up her circle of inscriptions and symbols made of chalk.

Opening said door revealed Shining Armor on the other side. Standing next to him was a maid holding Flurry Heart. "Hello Cadence," he said looking slightly worried, "I'm just here to see you off."

Cadence raised an eyebrow, she could already tell her husband was going to worry about her while she was gone. "I'm going to be fine," she said.

Shining, looking like she had just read his mind, took a step forward. He wrapped his hands around her and gave her a quick hug. "I know that, its just your track record hasn't been the best lately. It seems like something evil comes a knocking every other month these days."

Cadence smiled as she broke from the hug, "And I have been able to fend them off almost every time. Sure a few times haven't gone as planned but you and I have managed to stay strong no matter what. I can take care of myself just as well."

Cadence took a step back and produced a ball of light in her hand. She quickly twirled it around herself before snapping her fingers and making it vanish with a small poof. "You seem to be forgetting that I am related to Celestia. Raiser of the sun and all powerful ruler of Equestia."

Shining scratched the back of his head looking defeated, "Of course I know that and I know how powerful and resourceful you are. I just really care about you and your safety."

Cadence gave him a reassuring look. "I know you do. But this isn't like I am going on some adventure or something. Its just an outdoor resort. It'll mostly just be me sun bathing, swimming, hiking..."

"Checking out a few nice bodies of passing males and females." Shining added with a small grin.

Cadence stuck out her tongue but quickly returned a small grin of her own. It was no secret that despite being married, it was an open relationship. She was the princess of love after all. So it was no surprise she not only swung both ways but also tended to share an evening with a lover or two. Shining was well aware of this and had long since accepted this. He was still her first choice and the one she decided to have a child with. That meant more to him than anything else.

"Just be sure to give me all the details when you get back, my lovely heart-butt." Shining gave a playful slap to Cadence's rear, right were her crystal heart cutie mark lay.

"Will do my love." Cadence said with a small blush.

Turning towards the maid, Cadence was about to say goodbye to Flurry Heart when she suddenly noticed that Flurry was no longer being held by the maid. The maid seemed to suddenly notice this as well and locked eyes with something just behind Cadence.

Cadence turned around and saw Flurry Heart was currently teleporting all around her room. Cadence let out a small laugh, raised her hand and caught the child with her magic as she teleported right over her teleportation circle. Flurry Heart let off a few kicks in surprise but stopped when she realized it was Cadence holding her in her magic. Cadence flicked her hand towards the maid and floated Flurry back over to her. The maid maid sure to carefully catch Flurry as she came towards her as well as keep a slightly better grip.

Cadence lowered herself until she was at eye level with Flurry, "Make sure not to cause too much chaos while I'm gone, OK?"

Flurry Heart stared back for a moment before giving a slight nod. Cadence gave a slight nod back, "Good girl."

Raising herself back to normal position, she made her way over to the teleportation circle. Careful not to mess anything up as she did so. Even the slightest kick to any of the symbols could cause her to be transported somewhere else. Most likely some place bad.

Once she was in the middle of the circle, she turned towards Shining still standing in the door. She blew him a kiss which Shining pretended to catch. He held onto tightly. She raised her hands and activated the circle. "I'll be back before you know it with plenty of stories to tell."

Shining smiled, "I'm sure you will."

With that, Cadence said her quick incantation and disappeared with a flash.

Shining stayed where he was for a moment before whispering, "Be safe Cadence. I don't know why, but I can't help but feel like something bad just happened."

He glanced down at her teleportation circle for moment, before sighing, "I'm sure it just me being a worried husband though." With that, he turned and shut the door behind him.

An unexpected meeting...

Cadence opened her eyes and immediately registered that something had gone wrong. What she should be seeing, once the white light had faded, was a large resort with people coming and going. The smell of alcohol and fruity drinks should be wafting through her nose. The feeling of relaxation surrounding her.

Instead, she was standing in the middle of a dark forest. She could smell the lush trees as a breeze blew past her. Just a few feet away from her grew some glowing blue flowers that Cadence recognized as poison joke. Cadence took a large step back away from the flowers. They only grew in a certain forest so she instantly recognized where she was: the Everfree Forest.

Cadence did her best to stay calm as her brain began to process what this meant. She was now lost in one of the most unexplored woods in Equestria with no way of teleporting back. The trip back would be too long and she didn't know how far away she was from Ponyville. Most likely very far though, knowing her luck.

She didn't think to bring more chalk to attempt another circle, thinking she could just hop a few train rides home. Despite her talent of complex spells she wouldn't have the reserves to quickly teleport out of here. And if she tried, she could end up in a worse situation than she was in now only unable to move due to her drained energy supply. She was going to have to start walking and hope to find a tall enough tree to get her bearings.

Before she left, Cadence made sure to check her bag to see what she had to work with. It wasn't much, just a water bottle, two energy bars and a change of clothes. Everything else the resort was supposed to cover so she didn't think to bring anything else. Looking down at herself, she was at least glad to be wearing something decent for walking in the forest. She was wearing baggy jeans, a white t-shirt with a thick camo vest over it, and running shoes. Her hair was also tied in a pony-tail.

Taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly, Cadence adjusted her small backpack and began to walk forwards. It didn't take long for her to realize how deep in the forest she must have been. There were hardly any signs of creatures around her. The trees were tall but had high branches making climbing them currently out of the question. It was hard to tell what time of the day it was as the trees managed to block out most of the light above. After walking for an hour or so, she finally came upon an older looking tree that looked climbable.

Setting her bag on the ground, Cadence took a moment to size up the tree before finding her first branch to climb onto. Grabbing onto it, she quickly pulled up her body grabbed onto another branch. This process continued until she reached a spot passed the thick canvas of the trees.

Once the light hit her, it became quickly apparent to her how lost she was. The forest seemed to go on as far as the eye could see. Not even the mountain that held Canterlot could be seen and considering how large that mountain was, this worried Cadence more than anything. She had no way of knowing which way to go without a landmark. Just as she was feeling like giving up, a sound caught her ear. Cadence looked around her, trying to figure out where the sound came from.

It sounded like a splash.

Now that Cadence was looking more around her, she could just make out an opening line though the thick layer of trees. It had to be a stream or a small river. Remembering something Celestia told her when she was younger, she knew that stream was her best chance of finding her way out of here without getting lost. It had to lead out of here eventually and she could maybe get help from there. It was her best shot at survival.

Quickly memorizing her path, Cadence began working her way down. She got a little more than halfway down when the branch she was standing on gave way. Cadence tried to grab onto something but she was too late. Quickly she tried to cast a levitation spell on herself but for some reason, her magic wasn't working like it was supposed to. Sparks were all that flew from her hand as she braced herself.

Luckily one of the lower branches manged to break her fall. She felt the air get knocked out of her as she landed on it, stomach first. She tried desperately to grab onto something but she soon felt her body leave the branch, unable to cling to it. She expected to see the ground any moment but to her surprise it did not come.

Cadence blinked, wondering for a moment if her levitation spell suddenly worked. Looking up though, the answer was a bit easier than that. The right leg of her jeans managed to catch a half broken branch. She was now hanging upside-down just a few inches from the ground. Cadence let a sigh of relief. She knew she was going to have some bruises in a few places but a least she didn't break something.

Well, that may have been the wrong way to look at it though. Another second went by before her weight seemed to kick in and her jeans tore from the tree. Cadence landed hard though she manged to catch herself somewhat before she did so.

Cadence turned and stared up at the tree in front of her. "Something tells me this is the taste of how my time here is going to go."

Letting out an annoyed sigh, Cadence got to her feet and noticed a large hole in her jeans around the shin area.

"Great..." She said sarcastically.

Remembering she still needed to get to that stream, Cadence grabbed her bag and heading of towards where she thought the stream was. It didn't take long for her to hear the trickling of the stream as well as another splash. After going past some large trees, she broke from the darker part of the woods and into the light. The stream was large but slow moving.

Taking a moment, Cadence bent down and cupped some water in her hand, splashing it over her face. The water was cool and felt refreshing. Cadence was about to get up and start following it when something rose from the stream on the other side of her. Surprised, Cadence ran and hid behind a large tree.

Taking a peak back at what it was that rose out of the water, Cadence felt her body grow cold. Wading in the stream, her naked back to Cadence, was Chrysalis the ex-Changeling Queen. Or to be more exact, the last person Cadence wanted to run into alone in the Everfree.

"Why is she here?" Cadence whispered to herself. Cadence watched in both fascination and fear as Chrysalis rose from the stream, water dripping from her naked body. Her luscious breasts bounced a bit as she stepped onto shore. Cadence couldn't help but envy her immortal beauty. Had they met under different circumstances, Cadence would have been come down on her in a heartbeat.

Shaking the thoughts from her head, Cadence knew she needed to do something. If Chrysalis found her, it would be bad news for her. Without her magic, she would have no way to defend herself. Cadence turned and looked down at her hand, trying to build up some energy in her hands but nothing came. Not even a few sparks this time.

Thinking quickly Cadence decided she was going to have to make the first move, try and catch her off guard, maybe use her backpack to tie her up and run away as quickly as possible. It wasn't her best plan but it sure beat getting captured by Chrysalis.

Cadence watched Chrysalis carefully as she began to move down stream. Walking casually as she did so. Cadence did her best to follow her, dodging from tree to tree as she did so in order to not get spotted. She needed some way to quickly cross the stream and tackle Chrysalis but so far there wasn't any way to do so.

As Chrysalis walked, Cadence couldn't help but steal glances at her breasts and wonderful ass. The thought did go through her mind as to why she wasn't wearing any clothes but at the same time, Cadence couldn't really complain either. After a long while of walking, Cadence saw a tree that had fallen over the stream, this was her chance.

Just as Chrysalis was nearing the tree, she paused at looked right at Cadence's hiding spot. Cadence did her best to duck down, hoping she hadn't been seen. She needed to catch her off guard after all.

Cadence felt her heart stop though when Chrysalis spoke, "I know you are there. I've spent decades learning the art of stealth. You my dear, know very little."

Cadence let out the breath she realized she was holding and boldly stepped out from behind the large tree.

Chrysalis grinned, "Ah Cadence, it has been too long. How is Shining Armor holding up?"

"He's fine," she said flatly, "No thanks to you."

Chrysalis held up her hands, "I meant no disrespect princess, the love your husband had could have fed me and several from my hive for months. It couldn't help but admire his love for you."

"Well thanks, " she said without emotion, "He's been overly cautious ever since that day."

"And what a day it was." Chrysalis crossed her arms and looked at Cadence with a slightly annoyed look, "Ever since that day, your life has only gone up hill. Getting a castle, a next of kin and a loving husband. Meanwhile, I've gone so far down hill I've hit rock bottom and kept going."

Cadence took a step forward, her foot now on the fallen tree, "You did it to yourself, Chrysalis. You wanted to take over, you wanted to keep us in those pods and feed on us forever, and despite everything, I can only imagine you still want revenge."

Chrysalis frowned, "Hit the nail right on the head, princess."

Cadence took lifted her foot and began to balance on the fallen tree, staggering but taking a few steps forward. After regaining her footing, Cadence pointed at Chrysalis. "You had a chance at redemption but you threw it away, all for petty revenge."

Chrysalis growled, "You call that chance for redemption? It was a pity act at best. I have only done what I thought was best for my hive, and what do they do?"

Chrysalis let her arms fall to her sides as she gritted her teeth and stared angerly at Cadence. "They betrayed me. Cast me out from my own kingdom I built. Everything I did, everything I sacrificed,"

Chrysalis turned away from Cadence, gazing instead at the ground, "Happiness, love..."

Chrysalis was about to continue when Cadence suddenly leaped from the log, now much closer to Chrysalis. She landed right in front of her. Chrysalis took step back in surprised and Cadence took that as her chance. She jumped forward, shoving her whole body against Chrysalis.

Both fell back into the woods and soon both were now tumbling down a large hill. Cadence felt her body split from Chrysalis as both tumbled down. Cadence did her best to protect herself as she suddenly came to a dead stop, a large bush had stopped her. Unfortunately, it was a rose bush.

Cadence realized she could barely move as her clothes became trapped in the thorns. Quickly spinning her head around, she caught sight of Chrysalis who didn't fare any better from the fall. She seemed to have crashed through some vines and was now tangled up in them. Her legs and arms were tightly wound as she began thrashing about, trying to get loose.

After a few minutes of unsuccessful escape attempts, she went still. She managed to slowly worm her way over to a nearby tree, leaning her body against it so that she would stare at Cadence. Both gave each other a death glare, realizing that they were both completely trapped.

"So was this your plan? Tackle me and hope for the best?"

Cadence didn't want to answer but a small, "Yes," still escaped her lips.

"I'd clap if I could move my hands."

"Oh shut-up," Cadence groaned in annoyance, "I can't use my magic for some reason and I didn't want to take my chances against yours, OK."

Chrysalis was silent for moment before a letting out a small laugh, "Heh, wouldn't have mattered anyways. These forests won't let me use my magic either."

Cadence stared back in shock, "I don't think I have ever heard of the Everfree making it impossible to use magic before."

Chrysalis nodded, "I haven't either, in fact, I used some magic just on the edge of these very woods. It must have something to do with the particular area we are in."

Cadence nodded, "I suppose there is very little we know about these woods. If Twilight were here, she'd be testing each tree to figure out why magic doesn't work here. Each leaf would become her test subject. Even the ground would be closely studied."

Cadence chuckled to herself, "If she were here, she's certainly be doing better than I am now."

Chrysalis rolled her eyes, "Don't sell yourself too short, unlike Twilight, I actually have some decent respect for you."

Cadence stared back, unable to answer. Her jaw hanging wide open. Chrysalis smiled at the response, "Yes. I know it sounds crazy to hear but it feels like its been an easy road for her these past few years now. She has been given everything she needed to succeed. She has sacrificed nothing. Therefore, she has learned nothing."

Cadence finally regained her voice, "But for me... I've had to endure lots. From being kidnapped, replaced and still carried on with a wedding the same day. I was thrust into an empire without a choice yet I still took control and I have been working to keep everyone safe despite the dangers."

Chrysalis smiled, "I wasn't joking when I said I respected you. I have no real qualms with you. Had you manged to retake Canterlot on your own, I may have lost any sense for revenge. Even I can tell when I have lost to a worthy opponent."
Cadence stared back, unsure of what to say.
Chrysalis continued, "I wanted to take Canterlot because I knew it would feed my changelings for years. We were starving and I didn't think Celestia would show mercy to a bunch of Changelings. Was I wrong to think you ponies would accept us?"
Cadence didn't answer, she didn't need to. At the end of the day, ponies weren't very good about accepting those that weren't their own kind.

Chrysalis looked away for a moment, "Anyways, Twilight could use a good loss. She may have grown as a teacher, but she has a lot to learn when it comes to the sacrifices of a leader."

Chrysalis shifted her weight a bit, the vines tightly wrapped around her clearly making her uncomfortable. "I want to show her the horror of losing. To take a step in my shoes and know what it is like to lose everything. Just imagining someone feeling anything close to how I feel, is enough to bring joy back into my life. Even just for the briefest of moments."

Cadence stared at the Changeling Queen as her words began to really sink in. She couldn't believe it. After all these years, she thought she would be filled with rage or disgust upon meeting Chrysalis again. Instead, she couldn't help but feel sorry for her. Sure her actions were unforgivable. But that didn't mean that she could be so cold hearted to someone who had actually been through so much. She may have done it for all the wrong reasons yet in her own way, she thought she was doing what was right. And in the end, she was right about a few things.

Maybe Chrysalis didn't deserve this. Even though she knew it was crazy and probably very stupid, she knew now what she needed to do.

"Chrysalis, after everything you have told me, I can think of only one thing to do."

Chrysalis watched in amazement as Cadence began to escape from the clutches of the bush.

Cadence felt her body cry out in protest as the thorns clung to her clothing, cutting into her in some areas. She could feel her jeans breaking at the seems, her shirt tearing itself away from her and her vest broke from her upper body. As she started to stand up, her vest was torn from her completely, her shirt opened up from the right side of her shoulder as her right breast bounced out. What a day to decide to go commando, she thought.

Cadence's jeans fell from her hips as she stood up. There was nothing left that could allow them to hold onto her. Cadence took a step forward and felt her sock sink into the dirt. Somehow she had lost her left shoe in the tumble. She went to take another step and found that her other shoe had a become lodged in the bush. After a few hard pulls, she realized it was a lost cause and slipped out of it. Her right sock was full of holes. Cadence shivered a bit as cool breeze went by, her lower body mostly exposed. Taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly, she started walking over to Chrysalis.

Chrysalis wondered if she was coming over to finish her off. At least she would be dying to the sight of a half naked love goddess. Chrysalis smiled, waiting for the killing blow. To her surprise though, it didn't come. Chrysalis opened her eyes and found Cadence staring at her just a few inches away from her face.

"Aren't you going to kill me?"

Cadence smiled, "No... Instead, I'm going to give you something you may have always wanted, but never truly experienced."

Chrysalis stared back in confusion, "And what would that be?"

Cadence leaned in a pressed her lips up to Chrysalis, she deeply kissed Chrysalis with a passion Chrysalis had never seen or felt before. She found herself accepting the kiss. Feeling the edge of Cadence's tongue poke her's but not battling against it. She held that kiss for a solid minute before breaking away.

"Love," she answered, "Not the love you steal but the pure passionate love that can only be given by someone who knows how to truly give it." Cadence reached behind Chrysalis and began to untangle the mess that was holding Chrysalis. The Changeling Queen watched in amazement as Cadence hummed to herself and quickly undid her bonds. Her breasts would sometimes grind against Chrysalis' causing her to softy moan from time to time. Cadence continued to hum a soft tune but faltered on a note as each pass. Once she was free to move though, she found herself unable to move a muscle. Only lean against the tree as she stared back at Cadence in awe and confusion.

"What happens now?"

Cadence licked her finger before sticking it between Chrysalis' breasts. She slowly moved it downwards, softly touching her skin as she moved across her stomach and stopping just at her crotch. Cadence leaned forward and blew some air directly at her slightly moist flower. She then brought her head up until she was just inches away from Chrysalis' face again.

"You have spent your whole life taking love. Today I am going to show you how if feels to be given it freely."

Cadence leaned in and Chrysalis felt her body go numb as she felt Cadence grace her lips once again.

Never before had Chrysalis felt something like this, normally she could just rolled with the sex, ready to receive the love given. But this time it felt different. It tasted better than anything she had sampled before. Chrysalis brought a hand up to Cadence's exposed breast and gave it an experimental squeeze. A soft moan was heard as Cadence broke from the kiss. Smiling at Chrysalis, she moved to her neck and began to nip at the skin. Her soft bites followed up by quick licks caused a shiver of pleasure to shook across the side of Chrysalis' neck.
Chrysalis didn't know what to do, being assaulted by her love, it was like having sex for the first time all over again.

Going off of instinct, Chrysalis' hands traveled down to Cadence's soft ass. She squeezed them in a tight grip as Cadence began to move farther down her body. Once she made it to Chrysalis breast, Chrysalis could only coo as Cadence began to lick around her nipples. She was slow and methodical, taking her time and occasionally nipping the tips to keep Chrysalis on her toes.

The scent of sex began to fill the air as Chrysalis grew wet from the pleasure Cadence was giving her. Looking down, the princess of love could see how wet she was making her. She took a finger and quickly ran it along the sides of her moist flower. She then brought up her finger to her own moist neither lips. Running it in circles, she teased her own body causing her let out her own moan of approval. Chrysalis couldn't help but stare at the hot goddess in front of her.

"I think its time I showed you what we can do when one is willing to not only give love, but share it as well."

Cadence put on hand on Chrysalis' while silently motioning her to let go. Chrysalis did so, wanting to see what she had in mind. Cadence lifted Chrysalis' left leg up and slid her own leg under her. She scooted up as close as she could until their breasts bounced against each over. Their soaking wet sex just inches apart.

"Now let me hear your love as it mixes with mine."

Cadence leaned forward and began to grind herself against Chrysalis' neither lips. Chrysalis grinned and began to grind her own body against Cadence's. As soon as they touched, electric shocks of pleasure was sent through their bodies.

"Oh, that's it. Grind against me, Chrysi."

Chrysalis couldn't help but snicker at the nick name but admitably like it. "Only if I get to hear you moan some more."

Both of them began to sweat as Cadence began to grind deeply in Chrysalis, her breasts rubbing up and down against her body.

"Ohhhh."

"Now that's what I want to hear. Your moan is like music to my ears..."

Chrysalis pulled Cadence close to her as she began to work against her body even harder.

"Feels good," Chrysalis admitted, "But I don't think we will be able to cum like this."

Cadence continued to grind against her, pushing and pulling as she spoke, "You are right, luckily I have just the thing."

Nearby Cadence could see her backpack laying on the ground. She reached out, just barely able to grab it without leaving Chrysalis. She leaned back for a moment as she fished through her bag. She found her spare clothes and took out her shirt. It appeared to be wrapped around something. She dropped her bag off to the side and held out the shirt in front of her. Cadence unwrapped it and produced a double ended dildo.

"That will work."

Cadence scooted back a foot and placed one of on the dildo in her entrance. Without a word, she shoved half of it into her. Cadence let out a loud grunt but manged to angle herself as she did so.

"Ready?"

Chrysalis grinned, "Ready."

Chrysalis felt Cadence move forward and the dildo entered into her quickly. She was used to taking in big rods but still this still somehow felt different. It felt better than ever before.

"AHH"

Chrysalis knew what she needed to do now, she wrapped her arms around Cadence and began to push and pull against her. Cadence grunted with each push but also pushed against her, trying to get the dildo as deep as possible.

"Oh... YES!"

Cadence grinned as Chrysalis started to get into it. Her hips moved on their own as she felt her entrance being filled. Her breasts were rubbing against Cadence's again and she felt so good. She didn't want to stop as she pounded Cadence for all she was worth.

"Ohhhh Chrysi..."

Cadence locked eyes with Chrysalis, "So-oh goddess-is this anything like-oh-you've felt before?"

Chrysalis shook her head, "N-OH-O... It's different... Ah... But better."

"This is wha-AH true love FEELS like. Ohhh."

"Hu-ah... I can't believe I never fou-OUH-nd something like this till NOHHHH."

"I guh-guess, it just took the OH-YES right person to shOH you what it means."

Chrysalis could feel her climax coming but she wanted to keep going for as long as possible. Back and forth, the two were one, each bringing each other closer and closer to the fantastic end.

Just as she was about to cum, Chrysalis leaned forward and kissed Cadence deeply, Cadence wasn't expecting it but accepted it. Then the buildup came to a head and Chrysalis broke from the kiss. She leaned back and yelled out as her orgasm hit her like a title-wave. "OOOOHHHHH..."

Cadence simply let out a soft, long moan as her juiced leaked out past the dildo and onto the ground.

Both now feeling tired, Cadence removed the dildo with a pop and laid down on the hard ground. Chrysalis joined her and together, they cuddled against each other in the soft grass. No longer feeling alone, Chrysalis was now having to deal with feelings she had never felt before. She felt a bit of panic due to her unsure nature towards this. But at the same time, Cadence felt so warm and love continued to radiate off of her. It soon calmed her body and mind.

With not much else to do for now, Chrysalis wormed her way deeper into Cadence's embrace. Sleep came quickly for both of them but now the forest had changed for Chrysalis in some way, she just wasn't sure exactly how yet.

Sometimes you have to backtrack...

Chrysalis felt a drop of water fall onto her back. She shivered and snuggled closer to the warm body next to her. She wasn't sure how long she had been sleeping but she could only assume it had been a few hours at least. Feeling the her legs starting to cramp, Chryalis shifted around a bit, causing Cadence next to her to stir.

"Morning Chrysi," she said with a yawn.

Chrysalis felt another drop of water hit her back, "Good morning... I think we may have to move soon."

Cadence rolled onto her back and looked up at the sky. Grey clouds loomed over them as a breeze blew past. It was noticeably starting to get colder as well. "Where are we going to move to?"

Chrysalis broke from Cadence's warm embrace, though reluctantly. "There is a cave just a half a days walk up the river. Its not much but it is better than freezing out in the rain."

Cadence nodded, "I hate having to backtrack a bit, but your right. Our survival comes first."

Slowly getting to her feet, Cadence made her way over to the rose bush. She struggled to remove her vest from it. the thorns held onto it tightly and it seemed to be stuck to them like glue. After a bit of finagling and a few hard pulls though, she managed to remove it. Her jeans were beyond help. Just scraps of cloth stuck deeper in the bush.

She returned to her bag and after a bit of searching through it, she let out a annoyed groan. "My shorts are gone. As well as one of my energy bars."

"Some little critter must have found your bag and deciding to take a few things for the road.

Cadence winced, "Why my shorts though?" She looked around, spotting the shirt and dildo near where they had rested. But no sign of her shorts or anything else could be seen. "Fine... I can work with this."

Cadence walked over to Chrysalis with her bag. She grabbed the dildo and stuck in back into the bag. She then handed her vest to Chrysalis, "Since our magic isn't working, I am guessing you can't transform or craft new clothes. It is going to be getting chilly soon."

Chrysalis accepted the gift though an uncomfortable look on her face was noticeable. "Thanks... I'm not used to other people thinking of me. It feels... Weird..." She put on the vest and noticed it had a few small holes it. Better than nothing though. Cadence took the spare shirt and tore it in half down the side. She then wrapped it around Chrysalis' hip. Tying the end of it so that it looked more like a makeshift mini skirt.

"Its not much, but it should help keep some parts of you warm."

Looking down at herself, Chrysalis was once again at a lost for words. "Thankyou," was all she could muster up. Her eyes then landed back on Cadence who had nothing on but a torn shirt, a backpack whose strap was covering her exposed breast and some torn up socks. "Are you sure you are going to be alright?"

"I'll be fine, I tend to live up north so I'm used to colder temperatures."

Chrysalis knew that the Crystal Empire was surrounded by a warm magical dome but decided to let it go."If you say so, lets get moving before the rain starts."

The two made their way back up to the river, Cadence taking the lead, while Chrysalis was close behind. Taking glances at Cadence's ass were a nice treat but something was beginning to nag the back of her mind. As they made their way back to the stream and began to walk upstream, Chrysalis started to wrack her brain. "What was it?"

"Something wrong?" Cadence called back.

"Sort of. You know how both of us can't seem to get our magic to work?"

"Yeah. What about it?'

Chrysalis bit her lower lip as she remembered something from just a day or two ago. "I think I may have come across something, or someone, who was able to perform transformation magic..."

Cadence stopped, she slowly turned to Chrysalis, "Really?"

Chrysalis quickly nodded, "Yes, it was two Finfolk. One of them was able to magic up some fins onto my neck."

Cadence began to walk again as she processed this new information. "If they were able to perform magic, especially high level transformation magic, maybe they have found some way around whatever is canceling out our magic."

"Its possible. Are you thinking we should ask them about it?"

"It would increase our chances of survival..."

"Alright, let's head for the cave first, then see about tracking down those Finfolk."

Suddenly, a thought occurred to Cadence. "By the way Chrysalis, why did they give you gills for anyways? And what made you suddenly think of this?"

Chrysalis shrugged her shoulders as she began walking again. "Oh, it was so I could scissor one of them underwater while the other one watched. The one I fucked had a great ass as well."

Cadence's face stared back unable to say a word. Chrysalis got a good few yards away from her before she remembered how to move again. Quickly she ran to catch up, hoping Chrysalis would be kind enough give some more details.

***

Cadence ran into the cave with Chrysalis just seconds behind her. Rain poured from the skies like a waterfall. The had just sighted the cave when the storm hit. They had very little time before the two found themselves completely soaked to the bone in cold water.

Now in the cave, the two could only stand there, shivering. "I-I'll see if I ca-an find some d-dry wood," Cadence said unable to keep her body from shaking. Despite her boasts about being able to take the cold earlier, Chrysalis could plainly see she had underestimated her abilities.

Chrysalis rubbed her arms quickly, trying to warm herself as Cadence ran to the back of the cave. The cave was large. Easily twice as tall as she was and several yards wide. It did little to protect her from the wind as it hollowed into the cave but it did protect her from the rain somewhat as she walked further inside.

Chrysalis knelt down, her body continuing to shake, the rain soaking right through what little fabric she had. If Cadence didn't find some wood soon, they might be in trouble.

The back of the cave was dark, Chrysalis could barely see Cadence moving around back there. After a few minutes of silence, Cadence called out from a lot deeper in the cave then Chrysalis had estimated it to be. Unable to make out what was said, Chrysalis called back. "What was that? I didn't catch that."

Cadence quickly re-appeared in the dim light, "I said you need to come back here." She answered quickly, "I've found something you need to see."

Chrysalis, now very curious, picked herself up and followed Cadence back into the darkness. She put a hand to the cold walls as she did so. "Cadence, its too dark in here, how am I expected to see anything around here?"

"Trust me, that won't be a problem in a minute."

Chrysalis continued walking until the cave suddenly took a sharp turn to the left. Chrysalis blinked as light suddenly filtered into her vision. A large pool could be seen glowing just a few feet in front of her. A blue light seemed to be radiating from the pool that was just three yards across in diameter. Chrysalis knelt down and put her hand in the water. To her surprise, it was warm. "I don't understand, there isn't any volcanic activity near here. How is this pool so warm?"

Cadence knelt down beside her, "I think it has to do with the glowing blue crystals along the walls of this submerged part of the cave. This pool appears to lead somewhere."

Chrysalis' eyes widened, "They could be magic powered. If this pool leads into a chamber full of them..."

"Then maybe we could get a clue about how to use our magic around here, or at the very least, learn why it doesn't work like it should." Cadence finished.

Chrysalis began to remove her cold wet clothes, leaving them laid out on the cave floor. "How long can you hold your breath?"

Cadence smiled, "Longer than an average human. I uh... Tended to challenge my aunt Celestia on how long we could hold our breath whenever we went to the beach. She always won."

Chrysalis laughed, "You tried to win against an immortal sun goddess in a game of holding your breath?!"

Cadence gave Chrysalis a friendly shove, "Hey, I thought I had a chance at the time okay? I was young and stupid back then."

"And what are you now?"

Cadence grinned, "A much older princess of love who has come close to winning a few times since." With that, she let her bag fall unto the ground, she took off her ruined shirt and slapped it onto the ground. She bent down to remove her socks, giving Chrysalis another view of her wonderful rear. Chrysalis felt her heart skip of beat and looked away. Is she doing this on purpose?

Standing back up, Cadence turned and stared at the pool in anticipation. Taking a few deep breaths, Cadence prepared herself. She glanced at Chrysalis who was already preparing to dive in. "Ready?"

"Ready, lets see what secrets this cave has to give us."

Chrysalis could help but steal one last glance at Cadence's naked body before she plunged into the warm water. As the water enveloped her, Chrysalis made sure to slow her heart rate down as much as possible. She was going to be a bit rusty at this due to having gotten used to turning into a sea creature or giving herself gills while doing this. Now she was going to have to attempt this on her own abilities alone.

Chrysalis was surprised at how clear the water was. She looked down and could clearly see the bottom as well as the curve that led to some unknown part of the cave. Cadence was already working her way to the bottom. Chrysalis kicked off and swam after her, careful not to over extend herself. As both reached the bottom, Chrysalis could see the cave extended a ways before it appeared to curve back upwards again. Light from the chrysalis illuminated their path.

Cadence quickly began swimming forward, glancing at the crystals as she did so. Chrysalis was right behind her. About half way through the underwater tunnel, curiosity got the better of Chrysalis as she stopped next to one of the glowing crystals. Its faded blue look seemed to almost pulsate heat around it. Chrysalis rose her hand up to touch it.

Cadence looked back just in time to see Chrysalis about to touch the crystal. She felt her heart skip of beat as she raised her hand as a warning, but it was too late. Chrysalis put her hand on the crystal and was immediately hit with a pulse of pure arcane magic. Chrysalis' hand shot back as air left her lungs. Bubbles escaped her mouth as Chrysalis' body shook from the shock. The shock of the magic shooting into her body caused her to loose focus for second and that's all took before Chrysalis realized how big of a mistake that was.

Her vision was already starting to go blurry. Her body was starting to sink as Chrysalis watched her precious air bubbles float away from her. Cadence swam over, taking Chrysalis' hand and trying to lead her the rest of the way but she could tell that Chrysalis was fading fast. Cadence knew she needed to do something fast.

They were now at the end of the tunnel but still need to swim upwards to the surface. Cadence glanced back at Chrysalis who was starting to pass out. Without another thought, she swam up close to Chrysalis and pressed her mouth up against Chrysalis'. She forced as much air she could give into Chrysalis' mouth who suddenly felt her lungs expand a bit again. Realizing what Cadence had done and how much trouble she was now in, Chrysalis, now on the edge of consciousness, did the one thing she could think to do. Fighting back against her own body, Chrysalis began to take stock of what was just forced into her.

She could still feel a bit of the arcane energy coursing through her body so she decided her best action was to use it. It was going to be painful though. This wasn't her own magic but something else's. To use another's magic as their own was dangerous but she knew that she needed to get both of them out of the water now.

Pointing her feet at the ground, Chrysalis focused the magic into the bottoms of her feet. She could already feel her body protesting but she ignored it. She focused all the energy she could muster and released it in one solid burst. She grabbed tightly onto Cadence as she felt herself shoot upwards at high speeds. Unfortunately, she did not slow down once she breached the surface and flew several feet into the air.

Cadence let out a gasp as air rushed back into her lungs before crashing back down into the water with a loud splash.
Chrysalis soon splashed into the water a second later. Her mind drifted as she slipped into unconsciousness.

**

Cadence's head breached the water as she sucked in more air and coughed up a bit of water. Now treading water, Cadence could see that Chrysalis was no longer conscious and was beginning to slip back under water. Taking a deep breath, Cadence dove back under water and retrieved Chrysalis, breaking out above the surface again. She made she to keep both there heads about water as she started swimming with all her might towards the shore.

She gripped tightly to Chrysalis' body. Her legs and arms acted but she refused to give up. The ground below her was starting to curve upwards slightly and soon she able to stand. She grunted and continued to move forward. It was a struggle but eventually, she could feel bother her and Chrysalis leave the water. She quickly but carefully dragged herself and Chrysalis onto land.

Once on firm dry land, Cadence set Chrysalis down and made sure she was still breathing. She put two fingers up to her neck and waited. To her relief, she could feel a pulse. Chrysalis coughed up some water but quickly returned to her unconscious state. Now knowing the Chrysalis was alright, she collapsed onto the ground. Taking a few minutes to catch her breath, she could see that they were in large room. Glowing blue crystals lined the walls and an opening could be seen as rain poured in from above. Cadence could also make out the distant sounds of thunder.

Slowly sitting up, Cadence looked around her and realized the opening above was feeding a tree down below as well as some flowers that Cadence had never seen before. Green grass grew around them and suddenly it occurred to Cadence that she and Chrysalis were currently on white florescent sand.

Taking a deep breath and regaining some of her strength, Cadence lifted Chrysalis up and onto her back. She could feel her warm body pressing up against her back and that reminded her of how important it was to make sure she stayed that way. She brought Chrysalis over to the tree and set her down against it. She carefully set Chrysalis down so that her back could learn against the tree. After making sure Chrysalis was in a good position, Cadence sat down in front of her.

Cadence suddenly realized how strange this all was to her. Here she was, suddenly taking care of the one person who had imprisoned her, tried to steal Shining Armor, even came back for revenge and was still at it even now. And yet despite all that, Chrysalis had just saved her life. Technically it was both their lives but Chrysalis could have easily launched out of the water without her. She could have left Cadence to drown but she didn't.

Cadence knew that giving love was something that she did and she was happy to do it. She thought up till now that all she had to do was treat Chrysalis well and perhaps they could make it out alive together. But now it was different. Chrysalis seemed to really care about Cadence on some level it seemed. She figured it was going to be a one sided love most likely. Even hearing Chrysalis say she loved her she would have not actually believed it until now.

So how did she truly feel about Chrysalis now? Now she knew that she had to do everything in her power to get Chrysalis off the path of revenge and show her what the power of love could really do. If she did, she could actually see Chrysalis as more then a love buddy. Perhaps...

Cadence shook her head, right now those thoughts are for later. She needed to get Chrysalis back up to full health again. With Chrysalis having most likely drained her energy after that and damaged her magical abilities, she was going to need some ether.

It was not an easy thing to make out in the wild but it was possible. She was going to have to hope that a certain rare plant grew around here. Cupping her hand over Chrysalis' cheek, Cadence let out a small sigh, "Hang on for just a bit Chrysalis, I will be back as soon as I can, I promise."

Cadence let her hand fall as she stared at Chrysalis a moment longer. She then turned and with a determined look on her face, she headed back towards the pool, ready to adventure out and find the ether Chrysalis needed.

How to make a deal with a dragon...

Cadence sighed as her feet began to grow sore. She had been walking for hours with no sign of what she was looking for. Even just a little magic and she could have found the flowers no problem by now. Her socks were squishing against the soft ground, making her feel a bit uncomfortable as she walked. Her shoes were beyond saving, having also lost those in the thorn bush. She would have hurt herself trying to retrieve them.

So far her luck had been on a roller-coaster so far. Sometimes high and sometimes low. Right now it felt low.

A breeze blew past, reminding her yet again that she was walking through the woods with nothing but a torn t-shirt and some messed up socks. A shiver went through her body as the wind went right between her exposed legs. Muttering under her breath, Cadence stopped when something caught her eye. "Could it be?" She whispered.

Lying on the ground, just short ways away from her, was her shorts. Even at a distance, Cadence could see those shorts had been through hell and back by whatever creature had taken them originally, but it was nice to them once again.

Taking a short jog over, Cadence was about a few steps away when her foot felt nothing but empty air in front of her. Cadence cried out as she realized she had just taken a step into a large crack in the earth. Trying to grab onto the other side, Cadence managed to only grab her shorts before her body slipped into it. She was expecting to fall a ways but to her surprise, she only fell a few feet, her socks landing on what felt like stone steps. Cadence took a moment to regain her balance, trying her best not to fall over. After getting her footing, Cadence glanced down and saw that the steps had been over grown somewhat and led somewhere under ground.

Deciding to clean off her dirty shorts later, Cadence slipped them into her bag and made her way down the old stairway. Darkness soon enveloped her as she sank deeper underground. It may be best not to go too far, she thought, but curiosity was getting the better of her. Carefully she continued to walk till the the tunnel began to light up.

Cadence blinked as she suddenly found herself in a large underground cavern. A waterfall could be seen on the other side that fed a small river that wrapped around a large pile of gold, jewels and other shiny items. Light filtered above the pile of gold from a particularly large hole that was surrounded by thick trees whose branched could be seen covering the hole somewhat but still allowed light to filter in.

Cadence glanced back down and felt her heart skip a beat. In front of the gold pile was a large throne. On it, sat a dragon. His body was humanoid, so already he looked different than most dragons she had seen or heard about up till now. He was covered in scales but had a chest, arms and legs like a regular human. However, his hands were more like claws and his feet had only two large toes spaced out. His head was angular and had a small snout. His hair was short, white and spiky. Smoke billowed from his nostrils. His scales were a lovely shade of reflective light blue. They were smooth and didn't jut out like she had seen other dragons scales do. He wore nothing but a loin cloth around his hips and his chest was bare aside from the scales. His eyes were closed as he appeared to be in a deep sleep.

Cadence took a moment to marvel the creature before deciding it might be best to turn around. She didn't want to risk waking the dragon up. Just as she was about to turn around, something caught her eye. It couldn't be.

Cadence turned around and looked closer at the waterfall. It was hard to make out before but now that she was really looking at it, she could see a small cave in the middle of the waterfall. It was just seven or so feet from the base of the falls and was lit by the same blue magic infused crystals she had seen before. In the cave were the plants she had been searching for. The crystals illuminated them so there was no mistaking it.

Now here comes the problem. The waterfall most likely would have eroded the wall behind it meaning that climbing it would be impossible. Even if she were to somehow climb off to the side of it, the waterfall would just push her down the moment she tried to get behind it. There was no way to safely get to the flowers. Unless...

Cadence glanced back down at the dragon. Even though he was sitting Cadence could tell he had to be at least seven feet tall. He could probably reach up and grab those flowers no problem even fighting against the waterfall. The river appeared to be only a foot so deep so it could be possible for him to reach it. It was a long shot sure but right now it was her best option.

She was going to have to see if she could make a deal with this dragon.

She knew he would not give it to her without something in return. It was not in their nature. As much as she wished every dragon could be like Spike, he was raised by a loving family and was technically a half breed. So his dragon nature was hardly there. This one was most likely raised far out in the wild. Far from even the badlands. So its nature may be different but most likely similar to that of a regular dragon.

Taking a deep breath, knowing that she did not have much to offer, Cadence took a big step into the large cavern.

Cadence felt her heart beat increase as she neared the dragon. All negotiation tactics she had been taught seemed to spill throughout her mind as she neared the imposing dragon. Once she felt like she was reasonably close enough, she stopped a let out a large grunt. "Ahem. Excuse me, Mr. Dragon, I have come to bargain."

The dragon eye's quickly opened and locked eyes with Cadence, his yellow eyes immediately sending shivers down Cadence's spine. Cadence took a deep breath to calm herself and continued, "I don't have much but I am in need of those flowers you keep behind your waterfall. If there is something I can give you in return, I am more than willing to pay it... Whatever it might be."

The dragon continued to stare. Cadence suddenly wondered if the dragon actually spoke Equestrian, being this far out in the Everfree. Without magic, the language barrier could prove to be too difficult here. Cadence waited a moment, starting to feel a bit nervous, wondering if it would be best to start running before the creature decided to fry her due to interrupting its sleep.

After a long moment though, the dragon nodded its head. It did not say a word but at least it seemed to understand what Cadence was saying. Cadence let out a sigh of relief.

The dragon then stood and stretched out its body. A tail came into view, it was long but not nearly as scaly and appeared to be smooth at the tip. It twitched as the Dragon stretched out its body. Cadence could now see that she was correct, it was at least seven feet tall. The dragon, after stretching out a bit, now stood and silently watched Cadence. Most likely contemplating the price she would have to pay.

Cadence set her bag on the ground, causing her exposed breast to bounce a bit as she did so. The dragon seemed to cock his head slightly in interest. Cadence caught the look and realized that the price might be something she's given to others many times for free. Cadence smiled, "You know, I am the Princess of Love. As such, I am more than willing to pay in favors of the body if you so wish." The dragon grinned, licking his lips slowly as he nodded.

Cadence returned the smile, "Tell you what, for one hour I am yours to do with what you wish, and in return, you will give me what I need. Do we have a deal?" The dragon nodded his head quickly. Though dragons were known for their hostile nature, when it came to bargaining, most tended to be honorable in that regard. So Cadence knew that most likely this dragon would keep his word. Cadence took a step forward. "You may begin whenever you like."

The dragon slowly walked over to Cadence, he seemed to be eyeing her up and down as he did so. He started circling her, looking at her exposed rear in intense interest. Cadence did her best not to stare as he examined her. But she could not help but notice that under his scales he did have a rather muscular build. Nothing too crazy but her certainly kept a rather good looking body.

After a few rounds of walking around her, the dragon came up from behind. He towered over her, despite her being taller than most woman due to her demigod status. He slowly raised his right hand (or claw Cadence mentally corrected) and carefully grabbed at Cadence's exposed breast. He fondled it for a moment, before letting it go. Cadence simply stood there, interested to see what the creature had in mind.

The dragon smile grew as lust began to seep into his core. She was a fine woman to be sure and now, her love beginning to pour from her body. The dragon growled and let his loin cloth fall from his body. Cadence suddenly felt something between her legs. Looking down, she could see his large member growing. He was certainly large. Possibly as large as Shining and that was saying something.

Thank goodness she knew how to take something like that thanks to him. Cadence felt the dragon rub itself between her legs. It was getting ready so Cadence braced herself as suddenly the dragon reared back and drove its member deep into her ass. Cadence let out a large moan as the dragon wrapped its claws around her both her breasts. They dug into her skin and tore into her shirt a bit but she barely noticed. She hadn't been this filled in some time.

The dragon reared back and Cadence felt her body rebound a bit as the dragon drove himself even harder into her. Cadence felt herself moan harder as the dragon began to plow her. He was was slow but powerful. Each thrust was enough to cause Cadence to yell out in pure bliss each time. Even as the claws began to dig into her skin more, Cadence leaned forward while holding onto the dragons arms, hoping to let the dragon cock in even more than it had previously. The dragon grunted and Cadence felt her shirt being torn from her body. The dragon was now free to grip both her breasts hard as he continued to pound her. Cadence couldn't believe how good he felt in her.

"I-I have to AH-dmt. I haven't FELT anything quit like THIS-OH CELESTIA-In some time. You sure KNOHH how to give a woman a GOO-AH-D ride."

The dragon continued to remain silent, only grunting in acknowledgment.

Cadence felt the creature shove in and stop and she knew what was coming. Cadence felt an orgasm approaching as well and rode it out as she felt hot liquid shoot into her. Cadence let out a long moan as the dragon removed itself from her. Cum spilled out from her as he did so. Cadence felt her legs grow weak as she collapsed onto the ground. Taking a moment to catch her breath, Cadence glanced back up at the dragon and to her surprise, the dragons member still remained hard as a rock. Cadence gave a weak smile, "Looks like that was only round one huh? Alright, how do you want to proceed with round two?"

The dragon proceeded to get onto his knees, he then gestured for her to do the same.

"Hands and knees, huh? Alright then."

Cadence got on her hands and knees and presented herself to the dragon. The dragon got up and crouched over her, he lined up his dick with her moist flower this time. Cadence took a deep breath and soon felt the dragon slam into her. Cadence felt her breath leave her again as the large member stretched her out to the near her limit. The dragon gripped Cadence around the stomach and began to shift back and forth, forcing his large dick inside her. Cadence felt the warmth of the dragon looming over her as went in and out. His dick working its way inside her before leaving and coming back in with a vengeance.

"Oh GODDESS, I haven't felt THIS filled since Shining AHHHHRMERS honeymoon. I think he-OH YES- might have-SO DEEP- some competition."

Cadence felt the dragon grunt in acknowledgment again. He was thrusting and out at this point hard and fast.

"OH, this feels SO GOAHD. Don't STAAHP. I haven't been FUCKED like this since-UGH-my last anniversary."

Cadence moaned and screamed. She could feel the dragon digging its claws into her but the intense pleasure over-rode any pain she might have felt. She could feel the dragon increase in intensity as the lust drove him into her. She was more than happy to allow the dragon to let loose inside her. Technically it would be impossible for her to bear a child with it and she had been taking a magic monthly pill since Flurry Heart so she figured he could unload into her as many times as he wanted to. Cadence wasn't afraid to admit she was looking forward to it.

Sweat poured from Cadences body as the dragon continued to ride her. His trusting becoming more and more intense with each passing moment. Cadence could feel her voice growing horse from all the screaming and moaning but she couldn't care less. She didn't want to admit it but she missed being rode and slightly abused like this. Shining hadn't been this rough with her in some time. Going to be adding that to the list of things to do once she got back home.

A particularly hard thrust brought Cadence out of her thoughts. She could feel her juices running wild. She may have just come a moment ago but with the constant pounding it was hard to tell. One thing was for sure though, she could feel another one coming and it was going to be much more intense before. The dragon pushed into her again and again, much harder and harder with each thrust. He was starting to become more erradic. Faster and faster he slammed himself into her. Cadence opened her mouth and let out a long hard moan.

Cadence could feel the dragon starting to grip her more tightly than before and soon, Cadence felt him stop as he hilted her. She heard the dragon give out a large roar before she felt again his hot liquid enter her. Cadence came right then as well. "OH YESSSS..." The dragon let go of Cadence who dropped to the floor again, cum leaking out of both sides of her now. Cadence glanced up at the dragon and could see his member was still at attention.

Cadence took a deep breath, "Looks like its going to be a long hour..." She grinned, "Lets see how long it takes before I can empty you out.

***

Cadence stopped to rest at the mouth of the cave that she and Chrysalis had entered several hours ago. She was covered in scratch marks and completely naked, her socks being too soaked in cum to be usable. Her hair was a mess and she smelled like sex and brimstone. Her bag was the only thing on her right now and it was full of the flowers she needed as well as a bonus given to her by the dragon. Apparently he had been pent up for some time and she was just the thing he needed. Cadence smiled despite her exhausted state. Next anniversary, she was going to ask if Shining would be up for a threesome with a certain dragon.

Now she just needed to mix the flowers together with the other common ingredients she found on the way back and the ether would be complete. All things considered, it was certainly easier to obtain everything than she had originally thought. Hopefully this meant her luck would hold out. With that in mind, she continued her way into the cave, waddling slightly from soreness, mentally going over how to prepare the ether.

Oh and it turns out, one hour is exactly how long it took to empty him out.
