New World
Ed originally had a regular normal boring life. Form waking up early to going to work, then returning home to spend time playing video games or watching TV mostly "My little pony Friendship is magic" since he loved that show.
This was his boring but normal life and he was ok with it. Until one day an old friend of his asked him if I wanted to go to the convention center Ed also heard from him that there was a merchant that would send people to another world dressed as their favourite characters from anime, video games, movies almost anything. At first Ed thought he was joking and just laughed at it, how he was so wrong. Anyways Ed agreed to go with his best friend, so he went as future Trunks form Dragon ball Z
Why? Because he loved the character, strong, bold, kind, caring and a warrior at heart a true saiyan. Ed also bought $1500 to the convention as he thought "Just in case if there's any thing I see something interesting, like the new Fairy Tail poster or even a Trunks pony poster!"
Ed and his friend arrived at the convention and there were a lot of people dressed up as anime, movie, video game and comic-book characters. Ed and his friend talked for awhile before both said there goodbyes and separate ways to explore the center.
As Ed looked around he found a store with a creepy individual working who resembles the merchant from "Resident Evil" patiently, waiting Ed saw the merchant waving him over to come over to his shop he gave a suspicious look but simply just went over after arriving at the store the merchant gave him a smile before speaking "Well hello there my friend it seems like your searching for something" he stated "Perhaps something to complete your costume and a few other stuff?"
Ed stared at him for a while and gave him a simple nod, as then he saw him taking out Trunks sword, the dragon balls, Fairy Tail's symbol, Naruto's head band and a token of some sort. Ed just realised that he was missing a very important piece of his costume it was Trunks sword!!!
As for the dragon balls, Ed always wanted to have those to make a wish with the magical dragon, the always wanted the Fairy Tail's symbol since it and the MLP had alot in common like the power of friendship, as for the Naruto head band, he liked the show and it would be cool to be a ninja and as for the token he's never seen it before.
As the the items were placed on the counter He said "That will $1500 dollars sir" he said
Ed then just looked at him with a deadpan expression and said "Just for these five items?" Ed asked.
The merchant just gave me a smirk and said "You will also get a few more interesting stuff, i assure you." He then gave Ed a smile that creeped the hell out of him, Ed would have run away as far as possible if he wasn't paying more attention to the items infront of him.
Ed just passed him all the money in his wallet to pay for my items. The merchant eyes glowed in happiness and glee. He began to go through the money while he mumbled. Ed waited for the merchant to finish counting his money as Ed placed the sword on his back.
After a few more moments of counting and being satisfied with the money on hand, he stuffed it into the cash register after the cash register closed he passed Ed a item that he had pulled from under the counter, and when Ed grabbed the item that was a list, he felt intense pain shot across his body, he wanted to scream but the pain was too much and he slowly started to black out, but not before he saw the merchant giving him a smile and waving goodbye to him and saying "Enjoy your new life!"Ed was confused from what he said then he snapped his fingers then intense pain shot through out his body again and black out.
Canterlot Castle, City of Canterlot Capital of Equestria
Midday Court
Celestia gave out an exhausted sigh as she denied another noble of their ridiculous request that would only only aid them while hurting those not of noble birth. As the noble began to make their way out with a scoff for the next noble waiting outside, she found herself wishing something interesting would happened so she could cancel court for the day and do something fun.
As if someone heard her wish, as soon as the doors shut, a bright flash of light a white portal appeared in the middle of the throne room that had lighting coming from around it.
Celestia shielded her eyes from the blinding light alongside her guards as they quickly drawed there weapons. Once the light died down they saw a white portal in the middle of the throne room that had blue lightning coming out of it, then something came out of it and landed softly on the ground before the white portal closed leaving a hole in the middle of the throne room, everypony opened their mouth and gasped at what they saw before them.
There laying on the ground was a weird being in an odd outfit with a sword on its back with short purple hair resting peaceful on the ground. Celestia stared at the mysterious being that seemingly appeared within the castle out of a white portal. She was intrigued that the being infront of the them did not have wings or a horn but had a tail instead, her guarads however had a different response.
The Guards held their weapons raised towards the being as they approached the mysterious being cautiously. They all stopped when they saw the being starting to waking up.
Ed was surprisingly having a peaceful nap but was awoken by the sound of metal and loud footsteps. As Ed awoke he took a deep breath as he look around surrounded, he found himself in a throne room but as he tried to get himself up Ed noticed that there were six pony guard's in front of him.
He slowly moved carefully up and took a look at himself and he saw how different he looked and felt he had a well build physical body, he had short purple hair and had a tail that similar to a monkey.
While Ed was busy looking at himself he felt lots of guards surrounding him one of them shouted "Hands where I can see them, stranger!" The guard commanded as Ed looked towards the owner of the voice, and when Eds eyes met with theirs he was stunned and only had one thought on his mind
"A talking pony?!?!?!" "What the fuck! I must be high!" Then he just stood there with a shocked expression for a good solid 2 minutes before recomposing himself and coming back to reality. Those whole 2 minutes of silence and lack of movement made everyone's more confused then the captain of the solar guards was the one who broke the silence. Slowly she approached Ed and asked "Uhhhh...anypony home?"
Even Celestia was beginning to approach the saiyan while the guards were cautious and confused, princess Celestia found herself curious and concerned about the strange being.
But before anyone could make anymore moves to get Ed to respond to them, Celestia walked right up to him and said "Who are you?" Ed saw some ponys were unicorns and pegasus however his attention was towards the one who was walking towards him, she was around 6'4 and her mane and tail were in the wind with some of the colours of the rainbow, and she had both wings and horns! she also had an emblem of the sun emblazoned on her shoulder that looked pretty badass.
Shaking his head to regain his sense the saiyan then responded to her "Sorry about being stunned for awhile, but I was surprised to find myself here and seeing creatures I've never seen before in my life." The mare then tilted her head in confusion at my statement. "How could you not see a pony before in your life? Where do you come from?"
Ed thought for a few seconds before he thought up of a plan "I'm from Earth ever heard of it?"
Celestia shook her head "I can't say it does, but if it helps you get an idea of where you are now, your in Equestria." She then gestured to the room around her. "More specifically Canterlot Castle of the City of Canterlot."
Well shit, Now Ed knew that he was definitely not on earth anymore then he remembered the TV show back home. Ed couldn't believe that he was in the world of 'My little pony Friendship is magic'! Taking a breath to calm himself down and returning his attention to the mare who he now know as Celestia "By any chance, are you Princess Celestia?" Ed asked.
This cause the eyes of the mare to widen in shock and surprise. "How do you know who I am?" the sun goddess asked as the guards became very suspicious of the stranger and started to draw their weapons at him again.
Ed didn't say anything as he saw the guards drawing their weapons once more, then without warning he used the kai and flew straight out the widow and towards the everfree forest.
After a few minuets Ed arrived at the castle of the two sisters as he thought "That was close might have said too much" he gave a sigh of relief then he felt something from his pocket so he tooked it out and it was a bag that contain a list -it said you have the magic of Fairy Tail, the ability to go great ape and the ability to go SS-2,3, and blue.
Ed just stared at the list with wide eyes and shouted "YEAH!!!!!" as he had a manly tear going down his cheek.
Inside the bag, he found himself the dragon balls, Naruto's head band. So Ed thought of a cool ability and after gathering some energy, he motioned some hand signs and shouted "Shadow Clone Justu!" Then he saw five exact copies of himself they all shared the same astonishiment and excitement he had.
"Haha, This is so cool!" Ed said in happiness. All five clones turned to faced him and started to cheer as well. He was a bit surprised that he performed this technique so easily the first time like he had done this technique countless times then he had an idea he made about dix clones then he told them to show him what they can do.
After a good hour of him and his clones trying out some magic and justu and going up to SS-2 to test his skills, Ed made his clones poff away in smoke as he chuckled as a headache was forming.
After thinking for a good second he then thought of an great idea he created a Hyberbolic Time Chamber with his magic and decided that he would train 2 days inside which was 2 years to test and master his abilities.
Then as Ed saw the moon that had the image of the mare in the moon. Right before he went into the chamber he said with determination "I will save Luna from nightmare moon, as for I'm no longer Ed i am now, Trunks the saiyan from the future!" As he went into the chamber He thought about how he was going to confront nightmare moon if not he would just stall her long enough for the elements to hit her. He can't afford to lose Luna, he has to save her no matter what, even if he has to die.
