Cindershy's Simple Maiden Life

View Online

As a young maiden walked down her path, she noticed a group of birds frantically fluttering about. She hurried over to find a pack of stray dogs circling around, and without a moment's hesitation, she leaped into action, chasing the dogs away with a stick. Once the danger had passed, she turned her attention back to the birds, who were now chirping happily at her, seemingly grateful for her help.

She smiled and knelt down to their level, speaking softly, "Stay out of trouble now, okay little birdies?"

The birds continued their chirping, and the girl couldn't help but giggle a bit. "Hehe, good boy, aren’t you?" she said, feeling a sense of warmth and contentment spread through her.

As a young maiden living in a kingdom, Cindershy knew she had very little to her name. Her parents had died when she was young, leaving her with only her step-mother, step-sisters, and her beloved friend Pinkie. Despite her hardships at home, having to work as a slave, however, Cindershy always tried to remain optimistic and kind, especially towards the animals she so dearly loved.

Cindershy had a small, dimly lit room, where the sound of her knitting needles clacking against each other filled the silence when she wasn't out. As she knitted, she always hummed a soft tune, her voice like honey and luring in the tiny creatures of the night. They huddled outside her window, listening intently to the melody that drifted out to them.

In the barn, Cindershy made her way to the horses, the familiar scent of hay and manure filling her nostrils. She reached out a hand, the hay crunching beneath her fingers as she grasped a bundle. Cecil, her favorite horse, nuzzled up to her, his soft brown eyes pleading for his meal. She smiled, affectionately patting his nose.

"Come on, Cecil, you know the drill," she said, teasingly, holding the hay just out of his reach. Cecil whinnied, pawing at the ground, but obediently stepped back as Cindershy deposited the hay into his stall.

As Cindershy walked down the dirt road, her arms full of groceries, Pinkie trotted beside her, as she always did when she went to the market, humming a merry tune. Despite the weight of her burdens, Cindershy's face remained serene and kind. Suddenly, Pinkie came to a halt and pointed to a nearby peacock.

"Look, Cindershy! He's got a new coat!" Pinkie exclaimed, gesturing towards the bird, who was preening its feathers.

Cindershy noticed that the peacock's once vibrant feathers were now caked in mud and grime. She frowned, feeling sorry for the bird. "Oh no, poor thing," she said, setting down her groceries.

Pinkie rolled her eyes, but couldn't suppress a grin. "Don't look at Mister Peacock now; he's flaunting a new ugly coat!" she teased.

Cindershy laughed softly, but scolded Pinkie nonetheless. "Pinkie, that's not a very nice thing to say," she chided.

Pinkie shrugged, still smiling. "Oh right, the poor bird will get insulted!" she replied with a snicker.

Cindershy shook her head, but couldn't help smiling at her friend's lighthearted nature. Together, they approached the peacock and offered it some water and bread. The bird pecked at the crumbs gratefully, and Cindershy couldn't help feeling a sense of satisfaction at having helped even one of nature's creatures.

As the Prince rode his horse down the path, Cindershy spotted him from afar. Her heart skipped a beat as she watched him, a sense of awe and admiration filling her. She had always admired the Prince, not just for his royal status but also for his kindness towards his subjects.

Once, when Cindershy was walking by herself, the Prince's horse collided with her, knocking her to the ground. She winced in pain as she tried to gather her wits. The Prince quickly dismounted and rushed to her side. "Are you alright, Miss Cindershy? Are you hurt?" he asked, his voice filled with concern.

Cindershy's heart raced as she tried to compose herself. "Uh... Err.. No? I mean yes! Fine! Uh, not hurt at all!" she stammered, feeling embarrassed at her awkward response.

The Prince helped her up, his hand warm against hers. "I'm really sorry about this," he said, his eyes full of sincerity.

Cindershy couldn't help but blush at his kind words, feeling a surge of admiration for the Prince. "No need to say sorry, your highness... it's fine," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Sometimes, Cindershy walked through a quiet cemetery, a small bouquet of white jasmine flowers in her hand. She made her way to the small gravestone, kneeling down in front of it. "Hello, Mama and Papa," she whispered, placing the flowers at the base of the grave. "I hope you're both resting peacefully."

She would sit there for a moment, lost in thought. The only sound was the gentle rustling of the leaves in the nearby trees. After a few minutes, she stood up, brushing off her skirt. "I'll come back soon," she promised, before turning to head back home.

Every night, Cindershy sat cross-legged on her bed, a small leather-bound diary resting on her lap. She took a pen and began to write, the ink flowing smoothly across the page as she recounted the events of the day. As she wrote, a small bird perched on her shoulder, its eyes drooping with sleep. Cindershy smiled, setting down her pen and gently stroking the bird's feathers. "Sleep well, little one," she whispered, before settling under the covers with the other creatures curled up beside her.

Discord's Royal Reality

View Online

Discord stood in the courtyard, the sun beating down on his face as he watched his father from afar. The king was surrounded by courtiers, listening intently to their words as he ignored his own son. Discord clenched his jaw, feeling a twinge of anger and hurt. He had always yearned for his father's affection, but it seemed like he was invisible to him.

Desperate to gain his father's attention, Discord had thrown himself into his training. He spent hours every day practicing fencing and archery, pushing himself to be the best. But no matter how skilled he became, his father never seemed to take notice.

As he watched his father now, Discord's eyes flickered to his sword, hanging by his side. He wondered if he could prove himself in battle, if that would finally earn him the love and recognition he craved. But even as the thought crossed his mind, he knew it was futile. His father would never see him as anything more than a prince, a tool to be used for political gain.

Discord mounted his horse everyday and led the way as he and Cheese Sandwich set off on a tour of the kingdom. They surveyed the landscape with a keen eye, searching for any signs of danger. As they rode, they laughed and joked together, exchanging playful jabs and enjoying each other's company. When they came across a group of townspeople playing archery, they eagerly joined in, taking turns hitting the targets. Later, they galloped through the streets, startling passersby with their wild antics. Despite their mischievous behavior, they were beloved by all who knew them.

As the night fell and the stars twinkled in the sky, Discord sat by the windowsill, his eyes gazing out into his kingdom. The stillness of the night was often interrupted by the sound of his horse neighing in the stable.

Sometimes, Discord would pay a visit to his best friend Cindershy's house, and the aroma of freshly baked cookies would fill the air. Cindershy would insist that they were just simple cookies, but Discord could never resist trying more of her treats.

On his mother's birthday every year, Discord would visit her grave and lay flowers as a tribute to her memory. The silence of the graveyard would be the only thing that accompanied him as he stood there lost in thoughts.

Discord took a deep breath and looked at the road, watching as the townspeople hurriedly bowed and waved as he passed by. He couldn't help but feel a twinge of envy as he watched them go about their daily lives, completely free to do as they please.

He found himself drawn to Cindershy, a talented baker who lived on the outskirts of the kingdom. Whenever he visited her, she always greeted him warmly, offering him some of her delicious homemade cookies. He couldn't get enough of her treats, but he couldn't shake the feeling that there might be something more between them.

As he talked to Cindershy, he noticed that she would sometimes stutter or look away, as if she was nervous around him. He wondered if it was because of his status as royalty, but he couldn't be sure. Regardless, he found himself wanting to spend more time with her, to get to know her better and see where things might lead.

Discord felt trapped by his royal status, unable to freely interact with his people. He yearned to know how Cindershy felt about him, but the palace guards forbade him from wandering without them. His father's strict rules kept him isolated, alone and without friends. Discord's desperation to escape grew, and after numerous failed attempts, his father finally relented, but only under the condition that his guards accompany him.

This small gesture was a ray of sunshine in the otherwise dreary palace life. As he ventured out, he found himself running into Cindershy, and the more he saw her, the more he wanted to know her.

Discord's days were filled with the same routine: attending to his royal obligations, practicing his swordsmanship, spending time with his friend Cheese Sandwich, exploring his kingdom on horseback, and honing his archery skills. The people around him often remarked how lucky he was to live such a glamorous life, but for Discord, it was just another day.

He couldn't shake off the feeling of monotony that came with his title, and he wondered if there was more to life than what he knew. Despite this, he put on a brave face and carried on with his duties, trying to ignore the restlessness that gnawed at him from within.

Meet the Fairies

A gentle breeze swept through the Clock Tower, carrying with it the sound of Twilight's melodic voice. Her dark blue hair swayed gently in the wind, contrasting beautifully with her pink-striped wings. As she sang, she noticed a familiar figure approaching.

"Hello, Flash! What brings you here?" she asked, smiling warmly at him.

Flash returned the smile with a cheeky grin. "Oh, just passing by, my Queen. You know me, always causing mischief around town," he replied playfully.

Twilight raised an eyebrow, not convinced. "Don't think I don't know what you've been up to, Flash. Remember the huge bridge that had to be rebuilt? That was all you, you little troublemaker," she said, teasingly.

Flash chuckled. "Alright, alright, you caught me. But this time, I'm here on official business," he said, his expression turning more serious.

Twilight's curiosity was piqued. "Official business? Pray tell, what is it?"

"We're working together, my Queen," Flash said, taking a seat beside her. "Our chosen fates have intertwined to bring us together at this point in life."

Twilight's eyes widened in surprise. "Really? Who have you been assigned to?"

"A young noble boy born in the Royal Family," Flash replied. "He's kind, loyal, and always ready to help. He cares deeply about his people, and I'm quite sure he'll be a great king. But beneath all that, he's just a lonely boy. His father is too busy to even pay proper attention to him. I feel very sorry for him."

Twilight nodded, listening intently.

"And who have you been assigned to, milady?"

"A sweet girl," Twilight said, her expression softening. "She may seem simple at first, just doing all the chores in her house. But if you look closer, you'll see the joy and warmth in her. Every day, she faces the world with a big, bright smile. She works incredibly hard for her whole family and never stops giving a helping hand to those around her. But her kindness is also her weakness. She holds onto hope that everything will be blissful for her, but that hope gets broken when everyone else is harsh on her."

Flash smiled sympathetically. "I see. Both of them are deserving of our help."

Twilight nodded in agreement. "Yes, and with our powers combined, we can guide them towards their true destinies."

As they stood up to leave, Twilight looked up at the sky and saw shooting stars. "Make a wish, Flash," she said.

Flash closed his eyes and made a wish. He wished for the success of their mission and that the chosen boy would find happiness.

Twilight followed suit and wished for the chosen girl to find the happiness she deserves.

As they parted ways, Twilight flew off in one direction, and Flash flew off in the opposite direction, both determined to make their chosen ones' lives better.

Discord was doing some paperwork while thinking about the festival that was being held in his Kingdom. Suddenly, Flash, disguised as a human, comes into his room, which startles him. “Alright my boy, let’s get you to that festival!” Flash said as he came near to Discord.

“Um, excuse me?” Discord said, still a bit surprised.

“You deserve to have some fun after all that work! It’s the least I can do for you, considering that I am your fairy godfather...” Flash replied.

“Uhh, sir, are you feeling alright?” Discord enquires.

“Didn’t your mother tell you about me, my boy?” Flash asks surprisingly.

“Huh, fairies aren’t even....Wait, how did you....?” Discord asks being even more puzzled.

“Well, how about I show you, my boy. As the saying goes ‘seeing is believing’” Flash says sitting beside Discord.

“Sweet Celestia! I need a minute!” Discord says, still not believing what he is seeing.

“Well, there’s no time for that now, is there? I’ll explain everything as I give you a make-over.” Flash says, leaning on Discord.

“A make-over?! I’m not going to be a girl! And I’m not even a girl!” Discord says to Flash.

“It’s not that kind of a make-over! Oh you boys! It’s a disguise, really. Do you still want to go to the festival?” Flash asks eagerly.

“Yes I do! But I can’t! My father wouldn’t allow me!” Discord complains.

Flash turns into a fairy & says “Good. I had expected you to say that. Not that there’s anything else I had expected, haha. Now all you have to say is ‘Claws out’”

“O-okay then.” Discord takes a deep breath & says “Claws Out!” To his surprise, his royal clothes were gone & in their place, he was wearing a onesie. The onesie was very weird. He had the horn of a goat, body like a dragon & you know what? Let’s forget what he was wearing. It’s too mixed up for anyone to describe.

He was too happy for words. He knew that nobody would recognize him under this disguise, even if it was very weird. He opened the window of his room & jumped outside to the Kingdom. He was roaming around freely. He didn’t want this freedom to ever end! He saw the festival going in full swing. He grinned from ear to ear. He realized that everyone was with someone & suddenly he thought of bringing someone along with him. But who? As he thought, he heard a scream from a distance. He quickly paced to the direction from where he had heard the scream. Upon reaching there, he found Cindershy, with thugs! They were trying to steal her things & maybe kidnap her too! Discord went into full action. He made sure that they never troubled anyone again. They ran away, scared for their life. Discord moved towards Cindershy who was on the ground & said “I hope those thugs didn’t bother you too much. Are you alright? Any injuries?”

“No, no, I’m quite fine. Thank you for your help, I don’t know what I would have done if you weren’t here, Mister....?” Cindershy says, still a bit trembling.

“Uh, Draconequus, at your service, Princess!” Discord says as he does a little bow.

“Uhh, P-Princess?” Cindershy asks doubtfully.

“Yeah, you’re so beautiful & your voice is so sweet, anyone would call you a Princess, my lady.” Discord says giving a smile.

“Well, thank you for your compliment Draconequus. How can I ever repay you for your kindness?” Cindershy asks.

“Well, I was heading to the festival & needed a friend along, so...Would you join me in the festival? I heard that it is a lot of fun.” Discord asks eagerly.

“Well, I would be delighted to, Draconequus!” Cindershy said happily.

“So, my lady, let me take you to the festival. Hold tight!” Discord says as he carries Cindershy & takes her to the festival.

At the festival, they see many things. Discord justs looks at the games they have & gestures to Cindershy to have a try. Cindershy nods & they go to the first game which is hit the penguin consecutively 5 times. Discord tries but soon gets tired as the penguins are too fast. Cindershy tells Discord that she’ll have a go. “Are you sure, Princess? It’s not too late to forfeit!” Discord says jokingly.

“You’re funny Draconequus! I happen to be very good at these games.” Cindershy says with a wink. To Discord’s surprise, she is very good at the game & wins a prize. “Congratulations, Princess!” Discord says with a smile. “Oh, thank you, it was nothing!” Cindershy says, blushing. Next they go over to the archery. Cindershy hesitates to try it but does as Discord insists her to. “I don’t think I can do this, Draconequus.” she says nervously.

“Don’t worry, it’ll be fine. Just relax your arms a bit more!” Discord reassures her.

“I don’t even think I should do this you know, considering that I don’t hunt.” Cindershy says in a low voice. She gets shots near the bullseye but never on it. Discord assures her that it was okay as it was her first time. They have fun at the festival. Discord drops Cindershy home & they bid goodbye to each other.

Discord visited Cindershy in his Draconequus attire everyday of the festival & used to take her for the tour of the Kingdom. She always used to shout that it was crazy, flying in the air. But Discord knew that she was enjoying too. One time, Discord got hurt & Cindershy was very concerned for him. She was bandaging him while Discord argued that it wasn’t so bad.

“It is very bad!” she said “You’re lucky that it wasn’t too much of an injury.”

“Better me than you, Princess.” Discord said.

“No, I don’t like that Draconequus. Your life & mine, are both precious in their own ways.” Cindershy said as she finished bandaging Discord.

One day, Cindershy was severely scolded by her step-mother & she went crying to her bedroom. Pinkie saw what had happened but hadn’t uttered a word incase someone would know that she had been sneaking around. Draconequus saw Pinkie & asked her what had happened. After listening to the whole story, he rushed up to Cindershy’s bedroom window. He knocked on the window. “Cindershy, Cindershy!” he said in a low voice.

“Draconequus, how did you...?” Cindershy asks as she comes near the window & opens it.

“I heard from your friend, Pinkie. I was very worried about you. Are you okay, Princess?” Discord asked concernedly.

“...Um, thank you. I’m very sorry for worrying you. I’m fine now.” Cindershy replies.

“Don’t be sorry, Princess. Shall we meet tomorrow?” Discord asks.

“Ofcourse. It is the last day.” Cindershy says with a little sadness in her voice unnoticed by Discord.

The next day they both meet & have fun. At the end of the festival, they dance & dance as if they could never stop. The festival gets over & everyone goes away. Discord drops Cindershy back to her house but Cindershy asks him to come in. “I have something I want to give to you.” Cindershy says as she rummages through her drawer. She takes out something which looks like a bracelet. “This is a friendship bracelet I made for you. Hope you like it.” Cindershy smiles. “I’m glad I have you as my friend, Draconequus.” she says, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

“I-uhhh-umm...You’re welcome, Princess.” Discord stammers.

Ladyshy

One day, a letter gets addressed to Cindershy’s house. Lady Rarity, her step-mother, called out to Cindershy and said “Cindershy! Where are you, you no-good girl?” Hearing this, Cindershy sighed & said “Coming, mother.” She was cleaning her bedroom when Lady Rarity called out to her. She made her way out of her bedroom, came down the stairs & into the living room where her step-mother was busy reading the newspaper.

“I told you to get me the letters, didn’t I? Where are they?” Lady Rarity asked angrily.

“But, you didn’t-” Fluttershy started but was interrupted by her step-mother.

“Hush now! I don’t want to hear another word! You are of no good! Now go & get me my letters!” Lady Rarity shouted at Cindershy.

“Yes, mother.” Cindershy went to the mailbox & found two to three letters. When she went through them, she found that one letter was having the Royal Stamp on it. She wondered what it might be. She went into the living room, kept the letters on the coffee table & went back to her chores.

At dinner time, Lady Rarity was having a huge grin on her face. Lady Trixie, one of Cindershy’s step-sisters inquired the reason of the grin. Lady Rarity said “Oh, darling! Why wouldn’t I be happy? A Ball is being held next Sunday at the Palace! All the maidens residing in Kingdom are to come as this Ball is solely for the purpose of choosing a bride for the Prince himself! I’m absolutely sure that one of you will be the Prince’s bride! After all, you are my daughters, daughters of Lady Rarity herself, who is the most beautiful in all of the land! And if one of you will be the Prince’s bride, the other will be married off to a rich man, ofcourse!”

Cindershy was doing her chores when she heard the conversation. She became overjoyed but sad at the same moment as she knew that her step-mother wouldn’t even think once to take her along. Still, she kept some hope in her heart that maybe deep inside, her step-mother wasn’t so bad & would allow her to join them. She was made to make her step-sisters ready for the Grand day. They made her do their pedicure & manicure, iron their gowns & all the things they needed. Finally the day of the Ball came. Her step-sisters were wearing their gowns with a lot of makeup. Cindershy wore a dress that belonged to her mom & some jewellery too. Lady Rarity, looking at Cindershy said “Where do you think you’re going?”

“To the Ball with you, mother” Cindershy replied.

“You’re not coming with us. And where did you get that dress from? Did you buy it with my money?!” Lady Rarity said with rage.

“I assure you, mother, this dress was of no expense. It belonged to my mom.” Cindershy said, a bit frightened.

“Don’t let me repeat myself, get it? I don’t even know why you call me your mother for you are just a menial SERVANT. You will not go to the Ball & that’s that!” Lady Rarity said, angrily.

“Please, mother, just tonight. I only want to see my friend.” Cindershy pleaded with her step-mother.

“With whom? That ROGUE? Had I not told you to never meet him again? Do you listen to me? Why should I listen to you? You are staying here itself.” Lady Rarity scoffed.

Lady Trixie, gets an idea & strips Cindershy of her dress. Cindershy, both angry & sad, said “HOW COULD YOU?! Why are you always so cruel to me?!”

“Because you need to know your place, you ragged SERVANT GIRL!” Lady Trixie says & joins her mother who was waiting for her in the carriage. They go, leaving Cindershy crying all over. Cindershy goes to her parents’ grave & sobbed “I’m so sorry, Mom & Dad! I can’t do this anymore! I tried. I tried to be kind. I wanted to see the good in everyone. But it hurts. It hurts so much! I know it’s wrong, but I want to be selfish! Why do I have to go through this alone? .....Please...someone..... I wish you were here, Draconequus.”

An old lady comes near her & asks “What is wrong, my dear?”

“I just wanted to go to the Ball. Is it wrong to wish to be happy for myself, just this once?” Cindershy asks, still sobbing.

“There’s nothing wrong with that, dearie. In Fact, if you wish hard enough, with a little magic, it might come true.” the old lady says warmly.

“Thank you, but, everyone knows that magic isn’t real. Parents just say it to entertain their children.” Cindershy says sadly.

“Hehe, I don’t know about that. I happen to be very good at wishes & magic. To be honest, I’m your Fairy Godmother!” the old lady says as she turns into a Fairy.

“Oh my, oh my goodness! You- you are a real fairy godmother!” Cindershy says, clearly surprised.

“I hope I didn’t startle you! Now let’s start to get you to the Ball. I need a pumpkin first.” Twilight the Fairy, said.

“But, may I ask dearest Godmother, why do you require a pumpkin?” Cindershy asked puzzled at the said order.

“Hehe, well, you see, I need to make you a carriage that’ll take you to the Ball!” Twilight said happily.

“I- I see. But my dress is all torn &-” Cindershy started but got interrupted by her Godmother.

“Not to worry! I have everything under control. Now, about that pumpkin.” Twilight said in an urgent tone.

“Oh, yes, of course.” Cindershy said as she wiped her tears & went into her house to find a pumpkin. Luckily they had one & she gave it to her Godmother. “Okay then. Remember, after I do some magic, you’ll have to be back by midnight, okay? I’ll explain more as we go on, but now we’ll need to rush a bit. SPARKLE ON!” Twilight said as Cindershy suddenly got dressed up in the most beautiful dress she had ever seen. The pumpkin was also turned into a carriage with horses & chauffeur waiting for her. She had no idea from where horses & the chauffeur had come from but then she climbed into her carriage, making her way to the Ball.

The Ball

Cindershy reaches the Ball & enters the palace which was filled with many maidens from across the Kingdom. Discord was with his pal, Cheese Sandwich at a corner. Cheese said “You’re unusually distracted, your highness.”

“R-really? It’s just that there are so many ladies attending.” Discord said, a bit nervous.

“Yes, that is quite true, but you only eyes for one right?” Cheese asks cheekily.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about, Cheese.” Discord says, blushing.

Cheese was right : Discord was looking at Cindershy only. He noticed her move everywhere, trying to fit in. Cheese says “Go on, make your move!”

“F-fine, Cheese. Gosh, you’re so pushy today!” Discord says as he moves towards Cindershy.

“May I have a dance with you, my lady?” Discord asks.

“I-uhh-yes, of course!” Cindershy says, stammering as usual.

Discord takes her hand, places it on his shoulder, & the other he takes in his hand. They start to dance with Cindershy still looking at his face. When they finish, everyone applauds for them & they both blush. Discord says “Please, this way, my lady.”

“Where are we going, if I may ask, your highness?” Cindershy says, who suddenly stopped stammering.

“Just...you know...somewhere private. And please, call me Discord.” Discord says.

“You wouldn’t happen to be stealing me away? A rather bold action for a Prince.” Cindershy says, cheekily.

“I just thought that after such a significant display, you would like a little....break.” Discord says, still a bit nervous.

Discord takes her to the refreshments corner of the Ball & lets her enjoy the rest of the party. When she takes a glass of juice, Pinkie surprises her. “Pinkie! Oh my goodness, you had surprised me!” Cindershy said who was close to spilling the juice on her gown.

“No, silly, you surprised me! OH GOOD GRACIOUS!!!” Pinkie says excitedly.

“Shh, not so loud, Pinkie!” Cindershy says with a smile.

“Not only do you have the best dress ever, you even danced with the Prince!!! Your dream is finally true!” Pinkie says, excited for her friend.

“Yeah, about that.” Cindershy says but gets approached by some people. One of them asks “If you don’t mind me asking, do you belong to a noble house?”

“I’m sorry, but I would rather not discuss that...” Cindershy says when another one speaks up.

“Pardon me, I’m a painter & would be honored to do your portrait.”

“Oh that’s kind of you. Perhaps I can consider?” Cindershy says, clearly a bit nervous.

Discord on the other hand, gets extremely nervous as people, especially men, are talking to her. He says to himself as he takes hold of his sword real tight. “Okay, calm down Discord. They’re just talking. Shy’s a charming girl so it would be perfectly fine that some men would want to get to know her. Just walk over there & greet her like you normally do. It’s no big deal, you can handle this! You are the Prince right now, not Draconequus! Whatever you do, DO NOT HISS!”

He goes over to Cindershy & says to the men talking to her “I’m sorry for the intrusion but I have something to discuss with Miss Ladyshy.”

“Oh, um, yes of course. I hope it’s no trouble for you, Your Highness.” Cindershy says, a bit nervous.

“Not at all. But we should probably go to a more private setting.” Discord smirks.

The person who first talked to Cindershy asked the painter “Is it just me or was the Prince a little odd?”

“I thought so, too... I think he may have taken a really deep liking to Miss Ladyshy.” The painter replied.

“That makes sense, but does I wonder if he knows about her search for Draconequus.” The first person replied.

Discord takes Cindershy to his garden & lets her enjoy the flowers there. “These are beautiful! I’ve never seen tulips with such vibrant colours!” Cindershy exclaims.

“They were my mother’s favorites. But she loved every flower she grew in this garden..” Discord replies.

“Do...do you still care for it, in her place?” Cindershy asks curiously.

“Yes, it’s how I remember her by. We spent a lot of happy memories here.” Discord says, taking a deep breath.

Suddenly, King Sombra appears behind them & says “I don’t believe we’ve been properly introduced. If I may ask, what is your name, young lady?”

Cindershy, clearly surprised by the sudden appearance of the King, bows down to him & says “Oh y-yes. I am the Maiden Ladyshy, your Royal Highness. I apologize, I did not see you nearby.”

“It is alright, but I do have other business to attend to, so please, enjoy the rest of the Ball.” King Sombra replies, going away.

“Yes I will, your Royal Highness. Thank you for your time!” Cindershy says, still bowing down.

Discord then tells Cindershy “Okay, close your eyes now, I have a surprise. I know where Draconequus is. But please, my lady, don’t open them unless I tell you to.”

“Alright. By the way, you never told me how you knew Draconequus.” Cindershy says.

“Let’s just say, I have my ways around the palace.” Discord says, taking out the friendship bracelet that Cindershy had given to him when he was dressed up as Draconequus & placing it in Cindershy’s hands.

“Hmm, I see. Is it okay to open my eyes now?” Cindershy asks but then hears the gong of the City bell indicating that it is midnight. She then remembers : Fairy Godmother told me to be back before midnight! She quickly ran away from there, trying to reach home as fast as she could. In the hurry, she left her slipper but she had no time to pick it up. “Oh no! My shoe!” Cindershy said, still running away.

“LADYSHY! Please wait!” Discord shouted, running after her.

“Ohh, I’m so sorry, Godmother.” Cindershy said, sadly.

“LADYSHY!!!” Discord said, losing sight of her & having only a shoe of hers left behind.

Cindershy returns home just in time & without thinking any further, goes into her bedroom & falls into sleep shortly after. The next day, Cindershy wakes up to find a bracelet that was in her hand but hadn't observed it before. To her surprise, it was the bracelet that she gave to Draconequus. "This...this was the the bracelet I gave to Draconequus!"

Cindershy then remembers that she had this when Prince Discord had told her to close her eyes. "Discord wasn't even there at the festival, how does he --- OH! That's why I couldn't find Draconequus at the Ball. For Prince Discord IS Draconequus!!!" Cindershy says with a gasp.

"DID YOU HEAR THAT SHY?!?! By the order of the King himself, the maiden Ladyshy shall present herself & will be considered for marriage with the Prince!" Pinkie says, rushing towards Cindershy.

Cindershy had changed from her torn dress into her usual clothes when Pinkie came in. "W-wait... did they say marriage?! To Prince Discord?!" Cindershy says, shocked.

"YES!!! I'm SOOO happy for you!!!" Pinkie says, turning Cindershy round & round. Cindershy finally gets Pinkie to stop & tells her that she has work to do & sends her away. Her step-sister, Lady Trixie, who heard the news started saying to Cindershy "Hah, orders are given that every maiden has to wear the shoe that Prince Discord has. It is said to be the shoe of Ladyshy. I'm never letting YOU to try it on. What if it fits you before me? No chance! And it's not like a dirty servant girl had ANY chance with Prince Discord! With that shoe, I'll get to be Queen!"

"I don't care what you do to me, Trixie, but I'll not let you deceive Prince Discord!" Cindershy said, with a lot of courage suddenly inside her.

In the Palace, Discord gets surprised to know that his father had made such a proclamation. Then he starts to think that who could've convinced his father to take such a decision. Then he knew : Luna, his father's Royal Advisor, must've convinced him. He went looking for her & found her arranging some paperwork. He went up to her & said "Um, Luna, can I talk to you right now? Like if you're busy I can ask it later."

"No, no, I'm fine. What was that you wanted to ask?" Luna said blankly, still arranging paperwork.

"Uhh, I wanted to ask, Did you....did you convince my father to issue the proclamation that was made about finding Ladyshy & making her my wife?" Discord asks, doubtfully.

"I only thought that, as a future King, you should have the right to choose your own Queen." Luna says.

"Oh, um, Thank you...Luna." Discord says & leaves her.

Cheese Sandwich, goes around the Kingdom, searching for the maiden whose shoe shall fit the slipper. Many tried, but to no avail. He reached Pinkie's house & found Pinkie inside. "If the lady permits, may I see if the slipper fits?" he says, feeling something familiar between him & Pinkie.

"Oh, it would be my pleasure, Monsieur Cheese!" Pinkie says, sitting down on a chair.

"Well, without further ado, m'lady!" Cheese says as he tries to fit the slipper but to no avail. "Guess she doesn't live in this Kingdom, I presume." Cheese says.

"Oh no, you must try the last house in this neighbourhood. Something tells me that you'll find her!" Pinkie says with a wink.

"As you say, m'lady! I'll take your leave now." Cheese says as he bows down & moves on to the last house : the house belonging to Cindershy & her family. Upon entering he asked "Any maidens here?"

"Yes! There's me! And don't forget my sister, Moondancer!" Lady Trixie says as she rushed downstairs with her sister & took a seat on one of the chairs in the living room.

"Oh, okay, I'll see if this slipper fits either of you." He says as he tries to fit the shoe on Moondancer first but when it doesn't fit, he tries it on Trixie. It doesn't fit Trixie too, which angers Trixie. "EEEERRRKK!! WHY WON'T THIS STUPID SHOE FIT?!?!"

"Lady Trixie..." Cheese starts but gets cut off by Trixie.

"ARE YOU SURE THIS IS THE REAL ONE?!" Trixie asks, still angry.

"It's obvious that the slipper doesn't ---" Cheese says but gets interrupted by Trixie.

"NO!!! It will fit, I'm sure!! Just give me a little ---" Trixie says but this time is cut off by Cheese Sandwich.

"Please, return the shoe, right now!" Cheese says as he snatches the slipper from Trixie. Hearing all this commotion, Lady Rarity came down. "Oh, darlings! Didn't I tell you not to make such a ruckus in the house? Oh my!" Lady Rarity says as she spots Cheese with the slipper.

"My, my! Aren't you the one who is searching for the Prince's new Queen?" Lady Rarity says, straightening her hair which took no effort due to the shampoos she used.

"Yes, yes I am." Cheese says, not too impressed.

"Well darling, have you found her yet?" Lady Rarity says with more elegance in her voice.

"Uhh, no! I haven't found her yet." Cheese says, nervous due to Rarity's increase of elegance of her voice.

"Well, that's a shame, darling. Are you sure none of my daughters' feet can fit the slipper?" Lady Rarity says.

"Yeah. I'm sure of that. Their feet don't fit the slipper. I guess I'll have to go empty-handed back to the Palace." Cheese says.

Discord, knowing that Ladyshy is none other than Cindershy & that her family will make every effort in making sure that she doesn't wear the slipper, rides to Cindershy's house as fast as he could. He reached when Cheese was about to leave Cindershy's home. "Prince Discord!! Your Highness... what are you...?" Cheese asks, surprisingly followed by a gasp from the ladies present in the living room.

"I'm here to make sure that ALL the maidens wear the slipper, so I ORDER you to bring down the remaining lady!" Discord orders Lady Rarity. Lady Rarity, with no other choice, calls Cindershy down. Cindershy, upon coming down, sees the Prince & starts blushing. Cindershy goes near Discord with the bracelet in her hand & says "I believe you lost this at the the Ball...Draconequus."

"You have my thanks, my lady. It is a precious gift to me. Oh & I may have something of yours with me." Discord says, blushing too.

"How do you know it is mine?" Cindershy says as she ties the bracelet on Discord's wrist.

"Why don't we find out?" Discord says as he takes Cindershy & makes her sit on a chair. He then takes the slipper from Cheese & puts it on Cindershy's foot. And it fits! The step-mother & step-sisters were in for a shock. They couldn't believe their eyes. Discord took Cindershy's hand & kissed it while Cindershy looked at him lovingly.

Discord, after making Cindershy wear the slipper she lost during the Ball & making her step - mother & step - sisters get astounded, took the love of his life to the Palace so that she could meet his father. Upon arrival, he asked Luna " Is father ready to meet us?"

"I am afraid that he has to settle some matters with our foreign guests first. He did leave a message upon your arrival with Maiden Ladyshy." Luna said.

"I see. What does it say?" Discord asks.

"The Maiden Ladyshy is invited to a special private dinner with the Royal Family at the Golden Radiance Dining Hall. Whatever she may need to be presentable will be provided for. In the meantime, Prince Discord, you are to keep her company until dinner time." Luna reads from a parchment.

"A private dinner with you & your father? Did you know?" Cindershy asks, clearly surprised by what was being said.

"I...I didn't know. I admit I'm quite surprised myself, too." Discord says, keeping his hands on Cindershy's shoulders.

"I-It's a good sign, right?" Cindershy says, getting a bit nervous about all this.

"I would like to think so, but my father can be a little hard to understand..." Discord says, equally nervous.

Luna then takes Cindershy & Discord to a closet where there were plenty of gowns on the hangers. Cindershy was fascinated by the gowns as never in her life she had seen such beautiful gowns before her. Luna leaves them alone while Cindershy tries to choose a gown to wear. She keeps on asking Discord which gown looks good on her.

"DISCORD! What do you think about this dress?" Cindershy asks with a sparkle in her eyes that made her look as innocent as a little child.

"Haha, Shy, this is fifth dress you are showing me now. Any of them would look perfect on you." Discord said with a smile on his face.

"Come on Discord, be honest! This is for a special dinner with your father! I must at least try to look my best!" Cindershy said, nudging Discord.

"But I am being honest. It is not my fault that you are so flawless, Princess!" Discord says with a grin.

Cindershy sighs & says "Come on Draconequus, please? I really like this one."

"Alright, alright. Since my Princess insists. This humble knight shall oblige..." Discord says, giving a quick bow.

"Well... What is your verdict...?" Cindershy asks eagerly.

"It seams this dress would make your beauty flare so brightly, my dear Ladyshy." Discord says with a wink & a grin.

"Discord, you did not just... Just... no..." Cindershy groans, realizing the puns made by Discord, followed by a few laughs later by Discord.

After choosing the fifth dress, Cindershy got ready by the handmaidens. When she was ready, she looked like a real Princess. Soon it was time for dinner. Discord led Cindershy into the Golden Radiance Dining Hall. When she saw the interior, her eyes couldn't believe what they saw. Cindershy let out a small gasp.

"This... This is beautiful! I have only heard the tales of how beautiful it is, but to see it myself is like heaven!" Cindershy says, clearly fascinated by the beauty of the Hall. King Sombra came in & sat at the main chair. Luna led Discord & Cindershy to their respective seats : sitting opposite each other. Food was set on the table & King Sombra motioned that they could start having their food.

"If you don't mind me asking Miss Cindershy, can you tell me more about how you spend your days?" King Sombra asks.

"W-Well, I mostly attend to the household needs of my family. I cook, clean, mend & keep inventory... I do find some time for m-myself. A little bit of sewing & crafting. I usually made do with whatever I can f-find in my family home." Cindershy says, a bit nervous.

"It must have been very hard for you. But despite that, you still manage to present yourself as a proper young lady." King Sombra said.

"Oh, um, y-you are too kind, your Majesty. It is all thanks t-to the lovely handmaidens who helped me." Cindershy said, blushing.

"I am speaking more than just the dress & make-up, Miss Cindershy. Grace is not an easy feat without practice & tutelage." King Sombra replied.

"I-I suppose, my mother taught me a lot of things that I've kept in my m-mind from my early years." Cindershy says, still blushing.

A servant was serving drinks to the three when accidentally, he spilled the drink on Cindershy's gown.

"I-I am sorry, please forgive me for this mistake. I will never do tho again, p-please forgive me!" The servant immediately said, scared for his life.

"You shall not be forgiven, especially not today! You have spilled juice on not the Royal Family but on the their guest. You will be sent to the forest as your punishment!" King Sombra said, with anger

"Your Majesty, please. There is no need to send the servant to the forest!" Cindershy pleaded with King Sombra.

"The servant has done a great disservice by not only tarnishing the pride of my Palace but also by disrespecting a valued guest. I have every right not to be lenient!" King Sombra said, angrily.

"Father, Cindershy has a point. Your punishment is going too far. You must know that this was simply an accident!" Discord says, immediately coming near Cindershy.

"Your Majesty, I've already accepted the apologies. The servant deeply regrets what happened." Cindershy says, supporting the servant.

"Please reconsider, Father. If you wish, I will personally see to it that the matter is dealt with." Discord says.

"Fine. You can go servant. This is the first & your last mistake. If our guest hadn't accepted your apologies, you would have been done for. Now go!" King Sombra says, not even giving a glance to the poor servant.

"Thank you, Your Majesty. Thank you, kind Lady. I can never repay your kindness, Lady!" The servant said as he made his way out.

"Now, I will go straight to the point, Miss Cindershy. Did you want to marry Discord so you could be crowned Queen?" King Sombra asked.

"I-I honestly hadn't thought that far ahead, Your Majesty! I was more worried about if he truly reciprocated my feelings. After all, he is the Prince & I, a simple maiden. And after what happened today, I barely had time to even think about marriage." Cindershy said, a bit surprised at how the King formed the question.

"Very well. But you must understand that marrying Discord is no simple matter. What would you say if I never allowed you to marry Discord, because I find tht you wouldn't be able to cope with the responsibilities?" King Sombra asked.

"I-I would say that I understand your concerns, Your Majesty. But Discord is more than just a title. He is kind, courageous & wise. He will be a great king even... even if... I do not marry him. No matter what, I will love Discord & will continue to be his friend. But, Your Majesty, if you are willing... would you give me a chance to prove myself? That I can support him as I stay by his side... & I promise never to do anything to jeopardise the kingdom. All I want for him is to be truly happy." Cindershy says, firmly.

"Could I have a moment with you in private, Discord?" King Sombra says. Cindershy gets up from her seat, bows & leaves them to talk.

"Do you still stand by your decision to have Cindershy as you wife?" King Sombra asks.

"I will accept no one but her, father! Cindershy is selfless & hardworking. What she lacks in status, she makes up with honesty & sense of moral." Discord says, defending his opinion.

"A Queen requires more than just character, Discord. She must have a level of education & the right mindset. I am afraid that Miss Cindershy lacks these & makes her ineligible-" King Sombra says, when Discord intervenes.

"But Father, if you just-" Discord starts but is cut short.

"Discord. Please let me finish. Miss Cindershy is ineligible... But only for now. I cannot let you marry her right away. I have something of a compromise. If she stays in the Palace for a year & goes through the proper schooling, she will have the skills of a fine noblewoman." King Sombra says.

"W-Wait... you're saying that..." Discord says, clearly surprised.

"Yes, Discord. And if you wish to claim her as your fiance during that period, feel free to do so. Just be sure to court her properly. But she won't be the only one who will be kept busy. You will have to be more diligent in your preparations for becoming King. Do you accept these conditions, Discord?" King Sombra asks.

"I... I... F-Father. This is... more than I could ever hope for." Discord says, with happiness & surprise mixed in his voice. As soon as he finished he rushed out to Cindershy, where she was eagerly waiting for him. As he laid his eyes on her, he hugged her tightly.

"CINDERSHY! OH MY LADY! I can hardly believe it. Please tell me this isn't a dream!" Discord says, with a lot of happiness bursting out.

"D-Discord, I'm real! This is real! But please tell me what is going on! I've been so worried! What did your father tell you?! D-Does he not approve of me after all? I... I can leave... &... -" Cindershy says, worried but is cut short.

"NO! Not at all! Listen Shy... It's good news! We don't have to stay apart! You will stay in the Palace for a year & study to be a proper noble! You will be my fiance & after that year... we can finally get MARRIED!!" Discord says, touching Cindershy's face & ending the embrace.

"Oh... OH DISCORD! I... I don't know what to say! Is it really true?" Cindershy asks, all the more excited.

"Yes, it's all true, Princess!! I'm so happy we can see each other everyday!" Discord says, equally excited.

"This is going so fast, but I'm so so so happy, too, Discord! I can wait to tell Pinkie & Cheese the news... TOGETHER." Cindershy says, lying her head on his chest.

"I wouldn't have it any other way, My Lady. Now, forever & always." Discord replied, putting his hands around Cindershy.

Happily Ever After

Cindershy starts studying in the Royal School. Although there are a lot of things she has to master, she is doing well. Her teacher is Madame Sassy Saddles who is known to be well-versed in Royal Etiquette.

"Alright, Your Highness, today we'll review the waltzes. Your posture should be perfect! After all, the fiance of the Prince should be an epitome of grace!"

"Yes, I understand well, Madame Saddles. But which waltz should we be doing first?" Cindershy asks, ready to do the waltzes.

"First, the Valse a Trois Temps as it is the oldest. Then the Vienesse waltz & then The Guschwindwaltz." Madame Sassy replied.

"I am afraid, that I find the Valse a Trois Temps as a bit hard to master..." Cindershy confesses.

"Which is why we practice until you get it by heart." Madame Sassy replied, observing Cindershy do the waltzes.

While Cindershy had to learn the Royal Etiquette, the Prince had to approve a lot of documents. He had to do so while handling some matters regarding foreign relations.

"I am sorry to disturb you, Sire, but there's an urgent matter at hand." A nobleman interrupts the Prince.

Discord sighs & says " Let me guess : is it about the Countess of Liege & the Duke of Ardennes?"

"I am afraid so, Your Highness..." The nobleman bows before his Prince.

"Alright... I'll deal with it as soon as I am finished approving these documents." Discord says, shifting his focus towards his paperwork again.

Once in a while, when they finish their schedule for the day, they spend time with each other. They even sometimes kept surprises for their love.

"Walk slowly, Shy. There are a few steps here..." Discord says as he leads blindfolded Cindershy to her surprise.

"Okay, thank you Discord. But what is this surprise that requires me getting blindfolded?" Cindershy asks, smiling.

"It won't be a surprise if I told you, Princess. And I want this to be a little special." Discord says, grinning.

"Discord, anything you do for me is special. I had hoped that you would have turned down the fancy gestures..." Cindershy said, giggling.

"No guarantees, My Lady. You know I can't help it!" Discord says, blushing.

He leads her to the Royal Garden, where the candlelight dinner is waiting for them. He opens the blindfold from her eyes & Cindershy couldn't believe what she saw as this was one of the beautiful settings she had ever seen. Discord guides her to her seat & then sits on his own seat. After their dinner, they go towards a bench & spend their time, looking at the beautiful night sky.

"See that over there? If you imagine a square & three legs on two corners, you get a Pegasus!" Discord says, pointing towards a group of stars.

"Haha, I don't know about that. It still looks like a weird shaped bug to me!" Cindershy giggled.

"Pegasus would cry if it heard you say that, Lady!" Discord says, nudging Cindershy.

"Awwww, at least it is not as bad as Aries. It is just a line, Discord!" Cindershy says, still giggling.

"Haha, I know Princess. But each arrangement tells a story...." Discord blushes.

"Which is your favourite then?" Cindershy asks.

"I think I'll go with the Pegasus for now..." Discord replies, kissing Cindershy on the cheek.

Some days, when they are free, they bake cookies together. And Discord would always annoy Cindershy. They were carrying the baking supplies to the kitchen when Cindershy thought of sharing the part of her life which Discord didn't know of.

"I actually gave up going to the Ball. But then Twilight, my fairy godmother, appeared & asked me to bring few things so I could go to the Ball." Cindershy narrated.

"Wait, did you just say ' fairy godmother ' ?" Discord asks, surprised.

"Oh hehe, I guess I can't hide that fact anymore now. I know it's hard to believe..." Cindershy says, laughing nervously.

"No! I was going to say that I had one too! Fairy Godfather though." Discord clarifies.

"Oh wow! What did you wish for? Oh Wait, then Draconequus is..." Cindershy gasps, as she puts the pieces together.

"Exactly! Flash, that's his name, was the reason why I had my own disguise & could escape the Palace every night." Discord says.

"This is so unbelievable! What were the chances that we both had fairy godparents!" Cindershy said, going closer to Discord.

They start baking. Discord gets to mix the batter while Cindershy is busy in doing something else.

"Does my Princess require the services of her handsome Prince?" Discord asks cheekily.

"Oh No, you don't! This little Draconequus has to finish the cookie batter first!" Cindershy says, patting on Discord's nose playfully.

"But you could get hurt. Unless you want me to kiss you better. Oh, my Princess is so sly..." Discord winks.

"Haha, I can't believe half the things that go through your silly mind. But don't worry, Your princess is quite strong!" Cindershy says pushing Discord towards the oven.

"I'm well aware of your strengths, Ladyshy. The knight is just doing his duty..." Discord says.

"And right now, he needs to finish mixing the batter, prepare the trays & preheat the ovens!" Cindershy says as she playfully pushes Discord away from her.

Discord & Cindershy are well aware about their best friends' relationship with each other. Cheese & Pinkie also know about what the King said about their friends' love for each other. Recently, Cheese had proposed to Pinkie to which Pinkie said yes. Pinkie & Cheese had decided, they will marry the day Discord & Cindershy are to marry. This led to Discord & Cindershy offering their services in any way they could.

"DISCORD! WHAT! THIS IS! Don't tell me you paid almost HALF of the wedding expenses?!" Cheese said, reading a parchment that Discord gave him.

"I hope you don't mind, Cheese. It's the least I could do. You've always been there for me." Discord says, trying to calm his friend.

"I -- I -- BUT! OH MY GOSH! Okay, I know I was complaining but you didn't have to do any of this!" Cheese said, still in shock.

"Really, it's no big deal. You're my best friend!" Discord said, patting Cheese on the back.

"I could cry right now. Would it be weird if I hugged you right now?" Cheese said as he hugged Discord. Discord returned the hug & he felt happy, doing something for his friend to repay him for all the time he had been there for him.

Meanwhile, Cindershy was busy with Pinkie, deciding on wedding dress for her.

"Okay then, how about this? I think the colour is nice & the fabric is not thick so it wouldn't be heavy!" Cindershy says, showing a piece of fabric to her friend.

"It is a very nice piece of cloth, Shy. But I'm just not sure that my family will be able to afford something like this..." Pinkie said, smiling a bit.

"Whoever said that they're paying? I am not going to let my best friend pay for a dress I'm making for her wedding day!" Cindershy said, clarifying her point.

"Cindershy!!! For the last time, we are not letting you do it for free!" Pinkie replied.

"I'm not, even this can't repay for all the time you've been with me..." Cindershy says, holding Pinkie's hands.

"Oh Shy, what did I do to get the sweetest friend in the world?" Pinkie said as she held Cindershy's hands.

"I would like to ask the same!" Cindershy said as they started hugging each other tightly.

Almost at the end of Cindershy's year of studying the Royal Etiquette, Discord came towards her, knelt on one leg, opened a box which had a diamond ring which belonged to his mother & said "Cindershy, my Princess & my Lady, would you honour this humble Prince to be your husband, to love & serve you with every fibre of his being for the rest of his life?"

Cindershy, looking at Discord lovingly, said "YES!" Discord stood up, took Cindershy's hand & put the ring on her finger. He then carried her lovingly as she said "YES! A thousand times yes! Discord, my Prince & my silly knight, this simple maiden wishes nothing more to than to always bring you the happiness you deserve as your wife for the rest of our days!"

They had a great celebration on their wedding day & somewhere in between the crowd of people were their Fairy Godparents, showering their blessings on them. As they ruled, they were known to be the kindest & justful rulers. Cindershy continued to look out at life, not at what it is, but what it could be. And also sometimes, with a little magic!

The End!

Epilogue : The Royal Family

View Online

Seven years later...

"Hahaha, Eclipse, for the last time, it is not a unicorn!" A boy with blue hair & green eyes is heard saying in Palace Corridors.

"Then tell meee! Pwetty pwease, Mystic? With cream on top?" The little girl named Eclipse Glory, who had blonde hair with light blue eyes, said while being pulled by her older brother, Mystic Sword.

"We're almost there! And, you have to promise to keep it a secret." Mystic Sword said, still walking slowly.

"I promise! I promise! As long as I can tell it to Mama & Papa later." Eclipse said, lowering her voice.

"Well, I guess that's okay. Mama & Papa always find out anyway." Mystic said, coming to a corner.

"So, so, so, is it a blue genie? OH, IS IT A FAIRY???" Eclipse said, forgetting that she should be quiet, again.

"Eclipse, ssshhh!" Mystic says, putting his hand on his sister's mouth, but somebody already discovered that they were there.

"Ah, where are you two naughty siblings going to?" A voice says, carrying Mystic & Eclipse.

"Aw, Eclipse, I told you to shush. Now Papa has found us!" Mystic says, disappointedly.

"Oh yes, I have. And may I ask where were you two going to?" The voice, now identified as King Discord, said.

"Uhh, we were just going to meet your fairy godparents... hehe..." Mystic said.

"Well then, me & your Mama are going to meet them later this week. You both can join us then. But for now, no funny business. It's your bedtime! You'd better be sleeping, or I'll tell your Mama!" Discord warned.

"Okay, Okay, fine Papa. We will go to sleep. But can you or Mama tell us one bedtime story, pwetty pwease?" Eclipse pleaded with her dad with those innocent eyes of hers.

"Oh, alright. But only one, Okay?" Discord says as he takes them to their bedroom.

King Discord & Queen Cindershy had two kids, Mystic Sword, who was ten years old & Eclipse Glory, who was five years old. Meanwhile, Duke Cheese & Duchess Pinkie (Discord had given that title to them as it was part of saying thank you to them) also had two kids, twins, one was Caramel Crunch & the other Crimson Velvet. They were both five years old but younger to Eclipse in a few months.

Discord used to spend time with Mystic as he wanted to play pirate games which Eclipse had no interest in. But he also spent time with Eclipse. Cindershy spent time with Eclipse telling her fairy tales but also spent time with Mystic.

"I'm Gold D. Roger this time. You get to be Whitebeard, Papa!" Mystic said, introducing the characters to his dad.

"Alright lil tiger, so how does it start?" Discord said, joining the fun.

"From up high, Roger lets out a battlecry & jumps to Whitebeard! RAAAAH!" Mystic said, taking his doll & moving it towards the doll in his dad's hand.

"Whitebeard laughs & swings his mighty spear!" Discord said, hitting the doll in his son's hand with a spear attached to the doll.

"CLANG! WHOOSH! TAKE THAT!" Mystic said, having fun in this game.

"YAAAR! As expected of my rival!" Discord said, playing along.

"Oh Mama, I am so happy that Tiana got her wish & her Prince!" Eclipse said, as she listened to her mama telling her a story.

"But only because she worked hard & listened to her heart, my little fairy." Cindershy said, lovingly.

"Mama, do you think I can find my true love, too?" Eclipse asks eagerly.

"As long as your heart is in the right place, I have no doubt." Cindershy said, caressing her daughter's hair.

"Maybe he is the nicest & happiest Prince!" Eclipse said, jumping towards her mama.

"Well, he may not always be a Prince. Let me tell you the story of Eugene & Rapunzel." Cindershy said, starting another fairy tale.

"Which one should we pick next, my flower fairy?" Discord asks, as he carries Eclipse around the Royal Garden, picking flowers.

"This one! This one! It would match Mama's pretty dress, today!" Eclipse said, pointing to some beautiful tulips.

"That is true! You definitely got your Mama's eye for beauty!" Discord said, taking her closer to the tulip.

"Hehehe, now it's your turn, Papa!" Eclipse said, happily.

"Well, the myrtles look lovely today, what do you think?" Discord asked his daughter.

"Perfect!" She replied, enthusiastically.

"You're doing great, Mystic. You have to knead until the dough is smooth & elastic." Cindershy said, instructing her son.

"How does this one look, Mama?" Mystic asks his mama after he knead the dough as much as possible.

"Hmmm, not bad, but this side needs to be more uniformed." Cindershy replied, pointing at a side of the dough.

"Okay, it's done! What do we do next?" Mystic asks eagerly.

"For now, let's put the dough aside. It's time to flatten some butter." Cindershy said keeping the dough aside.

"Ohhh, do we get to use the rolling pin?" Mystic asks eagerly.

"Haha, we will, my little kitten." Cindershy said, giggling.

"Awesome!" Mystic replied.

Duke Cheese & Duchess Pinkie's family always pass their time playing instruments & singing songs.

"Look how the light of the town, the lights of the town are shining now. Tonight I'll be dancing around, I'm off on the road to Galway now." Caramel Crunch sung while his father & sister were playing a banjo & a trumpet.

"Look how she's off on the town, she's off on a search for sailors though. There's fine fellas here to be found, she's never been the one to stay at home." Pinkie sung along.

"Home you'll go & there you'll stay, & you've got work to do in the morning. Give up your dream of going away, forget your sailors in Galway." Caramel continued.

"Téir abhaile rúi, téir abhaile rúi. Téir abhaile rúi Mhearai. Téir abhail gus fan sa bhaile, mar tá do mhargadh déanta" Pinkie sung as she ended the song.

Overall they had a happily ever after, with their kids together, as they explored the Parenting age.

They raised their kids with good virtues & morals which resulted in them being known as the kind & just Royals like their parents.

As for Lady Rarity's family, they were still living in that house. Once in a while, Cindershy used to meet them, but that was very rare.

Before getting married, she had met her step - mother, who was looking still beautiful, but her face aghast. She also met her step - sisters who suddenly started calling her ' dear sister '. But nothing could convince Cindershy to take them in as though she would want to, she wanted to leave her past behind & focus on her life with the Prince which was a bliss. Before leaving that house, she looked back to her step - mother & said "I forgive you." & went her way.

As kind as she was, she couldn't leave them like that. So, she asked her Fairy Godmother to help them in any way she could, to which the Fairy was hesistant at first but then finally agreed.

This was the story of a kind girl & her Prince which has now come to a complete end.
