Twilight and her friends take on their roles as the Friendship Map calls them out to solve Friendship Problems.
As time moves forward in the new year, so does the adventures. Everything that seasons 5 and 6 has shown us will be altered in this timeline with the presence of Discord and Sunset Shimmer. New scenarios, same faces, different outcomes.
This is a sequel towards Anon-A-Miss: Friendship is Magic. Now it's with Twilight and her friends.
I won't detail every episode in season 5 & 6. Just some that are crucial within the timeline.
Today is the second day of the new year. Twilight Sparkle and her friends are in the Friendship Map throne room having a meeting. Sunset Shimmer, Discord and Fiery Flames are not present. They're off having a fun day with each other. The Friendship Map has all the Cutie Marks of Twilight and her friends at a remote town that is on the northwestern side of Manehattan and south of the Crystal Mountains. Twilight and her friends boarded on the only train that heads towards the village. A few hours later, the girls have gotten out of the train but there is no train station. Just an end of the track. As Twilight looked at the map, the train went in full reverse out of the area. Twilight said that from their position to the village is 5 miles away. The girls will have a lot of distance to cover. As the girls went along their way, Pinkie Pie became very stealthy. She would hide under the rocks letting the others know when to move and if its safe. After walking 5 miles, they spotted the village filled with ponies but something wasn't right. All the ponies had the exact Cutie Mark with an equal sign. They also have a particular smile on their faces. Not allowing any other emotion to be expressed. Pinkie Pie did not like it one bit. She felt very uncomfortable about the ponyfolk. She can sense it. Twilight and the group discussed among themselves on how to handle the situation at hoof. They decided to trot into the village and see what they can find.
Twilight and her friends received a lot of welcoming from the ponyfolks in the village until a certain pony came up to them. She had different emotions than the rest of them. Finally, somepony who isn't acting weird or crazy. Her name is Starlight Glimmer. Starlight Glimmer was pleased to see a new form Alicorn in her presence. It enlightens Starlight in various ways. She decided to show Twilight and her friends what true friendship is all about. After a while, Starlight entrusted Double Diamond to assist Twilight and her friends with anything they may need during their visit.
Pinkie Pie did not like any of this one bit. Fluttershy seems flattered by the scenery but Pinkie sucked the fun out of Fluttershy. Pinkie Pie is somepony who doesn't do that unless she senses something that is not right. All ponies with the same Cutie Marks, all have the same smile and looks like their possessed by a demon. Fluttershy is enjoying her time here in the village while Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Rainbow Dash were having mixed reactions especially when everypony kept on staring at them. The stores they had were all the same. Nothing new whatsoever. It made them sick to their stomachs. A pony known as Sugar Belle came up to the girls. She asked if anypony were hungry for muffins. Twilight originally ordered 6 muffins but Pinkie doubled it because she was hungry. Sugar Belle went into her shop and began to bake muffins. Sugar Belle overhears Twilight and the other bickering among themselves. It's been a while since she saw what friendship actually is. When she came back outside and gave the girls their muffins, she has a conversation with them as Pinkie Pie started to eat the muffins. Turns out that the muffins were not pleasant for Pinkie. She hated the distaste in her mouth. No flavor whatsoever.
Pinkie Pie suffered eating all of the muffins she ordered. She felt sick to her stomach. Sugar Belle made it clear to the girls before she went to the basement that there is something for them to hear. Twilight and her friend made it down the stairs as Pinkie Pie fell down complaining about having better tastebuds eating cardboard than those stale muffins. Sugar Belle, Party Favor, and Night Glider loved the Cutie Marks that Twilight and her friends had. They wished they can have their back but Starlight keeps them in the vault. Sugar Belle mentioned that Starlight uses the Staff of Sameness to extract the Cutie Marks to become the same as everypony else in the village. This intrigues Twilight and she wanted to know more about the vault. Starlight had no problem with showing them girls the vault. It gave her a real good reason to steal the Cutie Marks away from them. Replacing it with an equal Cutie Mark for her domain.
Starlight Glimmer showed the girls about the vault and how nopony ever leaves without leaving something behind. Starlight Glimmer trapped the girls and removed their Cutie Marks. As the magic was fading away, Discord felt a disturbance in the force. He can no longer sense Twilight's Alicorn magic nor her friend's magic. It bugged Discord out a lot as something wasn't feeling right. Sunset Shimmer and Discord decided to check on Twilight and her friends. Unfortunately, Discord has no idea where they could be. The magic that's fading away is being blocked by a magic barrier he wasn't familiar with. He then decided to pay a trip to the Castle of Friendship with Sunset to find Spike.
"Spike, where are you?" Discord shouted.
"I'm here listening to the game on the radio in the throne room. What's up Discord?" Spike asked.
"Do you know where Princess Twilight Sparkle went?"
"Here," Spike pointed where their friends are at. Discord took a good look at the map.
"Alright then. Thanks for the directions. We'll take things from here."
"Also Spike, can you watch Fiery Flames while we're out?" Sunset asked.
"Sure thing. I have a natural talent when babysitting animals."
"Thanks, Spike."
"No problem Sunset. Have fun." He waved as Discord teleported himself and Sunset to the train station. From there, they'll hop on the train heading towards the equalist town.
"Hope you like flaming hot paper that Twilight won't mind sharing," Spike said holding out a book Twilight was reading. He then breathes fire at the book and holding a plate for the papers that had flames for Fiery. Fiery began to eat his meal as Spike watched the little guy.
A few hours later, Twilight and her friend's special talents were fading away. Each of them struggled to keep up with their personalities. Applejack had a hard time talking like she used to. Pinkie Pie losing her fun cheerful spirit. Fluttershy is unable to speak with the birds. After a while, Twilight came up with an idea. Since Fluttershy is already accepting the ponyfolk before her Cutie Mark was taken away, she'll be the perfect scapegoat to see if there's a way to get their Cutie Marks back from Starlight Glimmer. Starlight Glimmer welcomed Fluttershy to join the family. For all new friends that join in the village, they are allowed to stay at her cottage until one is built for them. As the night time progresses, Fluttershy did a little snooping around. Fluttershy was able to see Double Diamond bringing Starlight the Cutie Marks that Starlight stole from her and her friends. She then makes a quick discovery that Starlight Glimmer never released her Cutie Mark. It's been painted in black. Fluttershy knew what to do.
Around that same time, Discord and Sunset saw the village behind a big boulder. Discord was able to see and hear everything Fluttershy had to say to herself.
"Wow, talk about crazy. Here I thought I was demented but hearing Fluttershy speak like that about somepony, this Starlight Glimmer tops everything that I used to do."
"Same here. Sure I turned a group of students into mindless zombies but damn. Changing the personality while she kept hers is pretty insane. So how should we handle this Discord?"
"We wait and see when an opportunity presents itself. Then we can lend our friends a hoof to turn the tides of this conflict."
"Alright then. Let's wait and see."
As morning arrived, Starlight Glimmer wanted to give Twilight and her friends an opportunity to give in but they wouldn't. Fluttershy offered to lock them back but as she came closer to Twilight, she let her know everything including a plan to expose Starlight as the fraud she is. Twilight then turned back to Starlight and decided to join Starlight's friendship proposal. As soon as the two emerge in conversations, Fluttershy tried to throw a bucket of water at Starlight but completely missed her target. Starlight knew she was tricked and readying herself to take Fluttershy down. All of a sudden, clouds were forming around the village. It began to rain. Starlight couldn't react quick enough as the rain washed Starlight's equal Cutie Mark. Exposing herself to everypony. They all looked at Starlight. Horrified that her Cutie Mark is a fake. Sadness and disbelief reigned throughout the crowd.
"You know, for somepony to have a demented idea of controlling everypony, I give you an A for effort." Discord said appearing right behind the crowd.
"What the?!" Starlight said as she was nearly startled to death.
"Don't forget lying and taking away something precious is more like somepony who wants to neglect real friendship," Sunset said next to Discord.
Starlight could only stare at the two as everypony else in the village turned as their feelings were rising up. Twilight and her friends glared at Starlight. Twilight tried to let Starlight know how special Cutie Mark talents are until she was silenced by Starlight. The ponyfolk decided to take back their Cutie Marks as Starlight ran towards her cottage. Away from the scene. Double Diamond led the charge for everypony to get their Cutie Marks back. Sunset Shimmer and Discord decided to follow the rest of the ponies to see if they can help. Twilight and her friends went after Starlight Glimmer.
Discord and Sunset Shimmer saw the ponies trying to break the vault. Double Diamond using the staff to try and break the vault but to no avail. Discord used his magic and shattered the glass of the vault. Allowing all Cutie Marks to return back to their host. Ponies were able to rejuvenate themselves once more with their special talent. Discord and Sunset headed back to the village to check on everypony. Party Favor, Sugar Belle, Double Diamond, and Night Glider decided to head back and help Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy gain their Cutie Marks back. Rainbow had little faith as she complained about not being as fast as she should be right now. Fluttershy and Twilight believed that they could pull it off.
Starlight Glimmer had a rough time handling with 4 other ponies and their natural talent. Each of them gave Starlight problems as she creates tougher obstacles as she heads towards the cave. With the help of Night Glider giving Starlight a care package, Double Diamond was able to cut off Starlight Glimmer's path. Her magic that was carrying the Cutie Marks broke as Twilight and her friends were able to change back to normal. Starlight saw everypony coming closer. Even Discord and Sunset came by. They wanted to help apprehend Starlight. She then teleports herself out of harm's way. Discord and Sunset went into the caves to search for Starlight. Everypony was happy to have their Cutie Marks back so they decided to have their own party. To celebrate a new foundation in friendship taught by Twilight Sparkle and her friends.
The Cutie Marks glowed on Twilight, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Applejack indicating them as their friendship quest is now over for the time being. They decided to stay awhile and party with the rest of their new friends.
Right now, Discord and Sunset Shimmer are tracking Starlight's dimmed magic in the caves.
Sunset Shimmer and Fiery Flames woke up as the sunlight beamed down on them. They got out of bed and stretched every part of their bodies. Fiery then flew towards Sunset and landed on her head again. She smiled and trotted out of her room heading to the kitchen. Spike is already down there making breakfast. Twilight went stir-crazy looking for a book in particular.
"Twilight, are you ok?"
"Does it look like I'm ok?" Twilight twitched a little. She didn't have any sleep last night. "Spike! Where did you put my book?!"
"What book Twilight?" Spike said bringing out a tray of pancakes and hash browns.
"I had a book in the Friendship Map Throne room and now I can't find it!"
Spike gulped a little bit brushed it off.
"What was the book called Twilight?" Sunset asked.
"It had no name. Just some notes I was taking today."
Spike began to sweat. Sunset saw the expression from Spike.
"Spike did you had something to do with Twilight's missing book?"
Spike sighed. "Yes. I know what happened to the book."
"Finally!" Twilight shouted. "Please tell me what you did with my book Spike."
"I thought the book was an old book and...sorry Twilight but I fed the pages you written to Fiery Flames yesterday."
"What?!" Twilight shouted. She then used her magic to take Spike out of the kitchen. Sunset used her magic to save the tray full of food and brought it to the table.
"What were you thinking Spike?!" Twilight shouted.
"I didn't know what else to feed Fiery at the time yesterday. Sunset and Discord came here yesterday wanting to know where you were at. I told them where you were. Sunset asked if I can take care of Fiery which I did. Why didn't you tell me not to touch any books to burn for Fiery?!" Spike shouted back to make a statement.
"I didn't need to because I thought you knew better! That book contained today's Friendship Lesson for Sunset Shimmer! Every single detail is written to make it perfect! Now I have to think of some way to make a Friendship lesson without her knowing the struggles to find or create one!" Twilight shouted louder than before.
"I'm sorry Twilight! I didn't...know." Spike shed a tear a little knowing he made a bad mistake. Twilight saw him shedding some tears and quickly hugged him with her wings.
"Sorry for yelling at you Spike...I'm just a little cranky. I know what you did was an accident. I should have told you to guard the book for me while I was away. Can you forgive me for being angry with you." Twilight said in a calm demeanor tone.
"Of course I can. I love you Twilight."
The two hugged and made their differences. They went to check on Sunset Shimmer. She was having fun tickling Fiery Flames belly. Fiery was making cute laughs and Sunset couldn't help but hear a little bit more from her baby. Spike and Twilight went to the table and sat together. Spike made flaming hot paper rolls for Fiery to eat. It came from a book that was long forgotten in the library of the Two Sisters. After breakfast, Spike left the castle to run some errands. Twilight took Sunset Shimmer outside of the castle.
"So how are you feeling with everything thus far Sunset?" Twilight asked.
"I feel very happy, to be honest. I haven't felt like this in years. Even with the short amount of time I had with the counterparts. I feel that my purpose in life is continuing to grow bigger and bigger. I have tons of new friends here. I have a cute little guy on my head. No words can really express how I'm feeling." Sunset said.
"Good. I'm glad your feeling happy after the misery of the other world has brought you."
"So, where are we going?"
"To Canterlot. Your first Friendship Lesson begins there for today."
"Alright Twilight, let's begin."
Twilight and Sunset boarded the train heading to Canterlot. Sunset gazed at the window the entire time. Fiery held on to Sunset's horn. He looked out the window as well to see the beauty in creation. The ride went by quick. Twilight and Sunset trotted towards Celestia's castle. From there they entered and were greeted by Celestia.
"Hello Twilight, hello Sunset. It's so nice to see the two of you here."
"Hi, Princess Celestia. Twilight said.
"Hi, mom." Sunset hugged Princess Celestia.
"Sunset, your first Friendship Lesson is to spend quality time with Princess Celestia."
Celestia smiled and Sunset was a bit confused but she took the challenge. Spending quality with Celestia will ease tensions up even though the greeted and cried a while back. Twilight left and sighing in relief that her plan work. Originally this is not supposed to be the first Friendship Lesson but it'll give Twilight a few things to jot down for a real Friendship Lesson that Spike won't feed to Fiery Flames. Twilight flew back home while Celestia and Sunset headed towards the Canterlot Garden Maze.
"It's been a long time since the two of us came here hasn't it mom?"
"Too long if you ask me. While you were away, I come down here during my free time to imagine you being here with me. Seeing the beauty of the garden and what life has to offer. I am deeply sorry for the years I turned you down because I was more focused on my duties than your well being."
"It's ok, I forgive you."
"Thanks. For the years I've come down. Memorizing what you and I would be doing. I missed those years that you grew into the young mare you are today. I'm truly happy that not only you are back home but you have the potential to become a Princess. I still sense the magic deep down inside of you."
"If it ain't the sun which your the Princess of, what you think is a possibility on my end?"
"I don't know but whatever it may be, it'll be important for all ponies in Equestria."
"Don't forget Draqonacuus."
"Hah, good one."
Celestia and Sunset Shimmer walked through the whole Canterlot Garden Maze together. Fiery Flame burped and burned some flowers in the maze. It made Sunset and Celestia laugh until the fire had to be put out. When they left the maze, they headed into town for ice cream sundaes. They ate their ice cream sundaes. Fiery jumped in and melted some of it. He wanted the chocolate syrup he hardens with his heat. Sunset didn't mind it one bit. After that, Celestia and Sunset headed back to the castle. When they came in Raven tried to get Celestia's attention about an important meeting but Celestia excused Raven. She had more important matters with Sunset Shimmer. Raven was not pleased and so were the other ponies in the area complaining until Celestia stomped her hoof down letting them know to get out. The expression on Celestia's face was not pretty as the ponies flee away from Celestia not wanting to piss her off. Raven trotted the other way as quickly as possible. Sunset could only laugh as the two went upstairs to Celestia's room.
"I can't believe you just did that mom."
"Well, I'm serious when I promised you to spend more quality time together. If meetings that are not really necessary to handle then those I'll push aside until further notice. I don't want to lose another second with you when we have time together. I am not going to put my priorities first when you are here. Never again. Seeing them run was funny. It's something I don't do often."
"I'll say."
"So would you like to spend the night here?"
"I would love that actually but I would like to stay up all night with you and Luna if you don't mind."
"Not at all. I wouldn't mind taking a day off tomorrow either."
Sunset and Celestia smiled and hugged each other. They wind up playing a few board games while waiting for Luna to wake up from her slumber. Early night for her is morning.
It is now 7:30. Celestia just lowered the Sun. Luna raised the moon up. Luna was expecting to be alone tonight with her duties but now, she'll be having her sister and Sunset right by her side. It truly made Luna happy to see her subject staying up for the night while all the others were preparing themselves for their slumber.
"The night shall be most joyous for those seeing the nightlights, stars and the glorious moon," Luna stated.
"It is beautiful Princess Luna. Back in the other world, it would be impossible to see all the stars at night. Too much electricity floods the streets and cities making it harder to see the beauty," Sunset said.
"Well, thy night shall enlighten you."
Princess Luna, Celestia, and Sunset stargazed at the night sky. Seeing the different constellations, shooting stars and comets that came by. The night is truly gorgeous to look at.
2 hours later, Luna stretched her wings.
"Now it's time for me to enter the dream realm and help the ponies have a good night sleep."
"Can I come with you, Luna?"
"Of course you can Sunset. I don't mind having company for a while."
Celestia fell asleep. Too tired to stay up after a lot of fun with Sunset Shimmer. Luna used her magic and brought Sunset Shimmer into the dream realm.
"Wow, the dream realm is huge."
"Indeed. We've been here helping ponies who are having nightmares. Also, we've learned to keep all dreams as secret as possible."
"How nice."
"Come, there is much I can show you."
Luna flew and as Sunset trotted down the night stream path. Luna showed several ponies' nightmares. Sunset gets to see how Luna takes care of business. It's a simple job really. Go in the dream, take care of the darkness of the dream unless the mare and/or stallion likes darkness. Sunset got to see Fiery Flame's dream. He's grown flying alongside with his mother and Discord. Sunset could only smile. Then Fiery ate the Sun which caused an eternal night. Luna laughed at it. Luna showed the bubbles of alternate dreams that can be placed in case the original dream is too heavily damage for the pony to handle. She used the alternate dream bubble on Snips and Snails. They both had horrific nightmares about Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. Torturing them and making them all pretty.
The night went by pretty quick in the dream realm. Luna used her magic to bring Sunset back to Canterlot. When they arrived, Luna used her magic to lower the moon. She wished that the moon can stay up longer but remembers the cycle of the day. Sun first before the moon. Luna hugged Sunset and went inside the castle. She was going to eat before going back to sleep. Sunset went up to Celestia and lie down next to her. Celestia woke up and saw Sunset Shimmer next to her. She used her magic to lift her up and place her on the bed. Fiery Flames flew and landed next to Sunset Shimmer.
"I see you won't rest until she does."
Fiery nodded his head. Sunset sensed Fiery next to her and hold him. Celestia went outside to raise the sun. After she raised the sun, she was called in by Raven to discuss an important matter. Celestia let Sunset be and left the room. Raven and Celestia spoke a little about the Grand Galloping Gala coming in the next few days. Celestia told Raven to send the tickets to Twilight and her friends. Especially Discord. She feels that the Draqonacuus can liven the party up this year.
It is now 12:30 in the afternoon. Sunset got out of bed and Fiery flew up and landed on Sunset's head. She smiled and decided to say bye to Celestia. As she made her way down to the corridor, she saw Celestia and Twilight coming.
"Did you had a fun time Sunset?" Twilight asked.
"I did. I got to learn something new about Celestia and Luna."
"That's great to hear them. Your second Friendship lesson will begin next week."
"Sounds good. I'll be looking forward to it."
Celestia hugged Sunset goodbye. Celestia hugged Twilight as well. Twilight, Sunset, and Fiery were on their way back to Ponyville. Celestia told Twilight to look out for a very special invitation coming this week. Once the invitation comes, the party can begin.
Its been a couple weeks since the Grand Galloping Gala. Discord and Sunset Shimmer been closer together ever since. Fluttershy still hangs out with Discord from time to time but the Friendship Map has called her and the others plenty of times in solving Friendship Quests all around Equestria. Sunset Shimmer and Discord have not been called by the Friendship Map by any means but they decided to offer their services from time to time. All is going well. Twilight giving Sunset some friendship lessons but seems that Sunset is making new friends faster as Twilight could have ever thought of a lesson. Twilight and Spike had to make a trip to Celestia's School of Magic to give out a speech for all the ponyfolk that'll be present.
Twilight and Spike are on their way to Canterlot. It'll give Twilight preparations to perfect her speech about the foundation of Friendship that impacted her friends and her. Twilight took all the time she needed. She stood up all night to make sure everything is perfect for her practice run. When morning came, she got up bright and early. Spike groaned not wanting to get up but Twilight used her magic to levitate Spike. Twilight used a silencing bubble to allow Spike to sleep a bit longer until they were inside the auditorium of Celestia's School of Magic.
35 minutes later, Twilight woke Spike from his slumber. After the baby dragon blinked a few times, he noticed that he and Twilight are in the auditorium. Twilight told Spike to be an audience for Twilight to practice her speech. After a few tries, Twilight's conscious made her uncomfortable. Making her rethink her words when Spike already told her that she's fine. Twilight couldn't help herself. She needed to be 100% on the dot. Spike assured Twilight that there is nothing to worry about.
20 minutes later, there's a full house in the auditorium. Everypony there to learn Twilight's lesson about the birth of Friendship between her and her friends. How they each discovered their Cutie Marks in the same day. A familiar pony got to hear what Twilight had to say before leaving without anypony realizing a missing pony. After Twilight made her speech, she felt like there's nothing that can go wrong. Everything turned out for the best. Everypony now knows how crucial Twilight and her friends Cutie Marks are as well as them being the wielders of the Elements of Harmony.
5 hours later, Twilight and Spike were on their way back home. Everything going as planned. They'll soon be having dinner with their friends at Discord's house. Twilight couldn't wait to see her friends. She wished they came along but the Friendship Map told them otherwise. Twilight and Spike headed to the Friendship Castle. It'll be quicker for them to meet up with Discord in his dimension. Twilight and Spike decided to bring a few things from the Friendship Map before heading over to Discord's house. Unfortunately for them, they wind up seeing Starlight Glimmer. Starlight Glimmer was pleased to see Twilight Sparkle and little for Spike. Starlight read a magic scroll, tossed it away then used a magic spell on the Friendship, opening a portal in which Twilight and Spike wind up going into. At the end of the portal, Twilight and Spike landed at what seems to be Cloudsdale. They wind up seeing Rainbow Dash flying right past them but she turned out to be younger without a Cutie Mark. Spike showed the magic scroll to Twilight and she knew right off the back it came from Star Swirl the Bearded. Twilight was both impressed and terrified by the power of magic Starlight has.
Twilight and Spike saw Rainbow Dash standing up for Fluttershy against the bullies. Then they decided to hide on a cloud to watch Rainbow perform the Sonic Rainboom. When the race started, Fluttershy wind up falling out of Cloudsdale, Twilight reluctantly wanted to rescue Fluttershy but it was Spike reminder her that she is not allowed to change anything that can alter the timeline. As Rainbow gaining speed and nearly going for the Sonic Rainboom, Starlight Glimmer intervene. By holding Rainbow Dash in place and losing the race, a time portal opened and swallowed Twilight and Spike sending them back to the present as Starlight remained in the past. She used an infinite loop spell to ensure that Twilight's next attempt at restoring the timeline falls short.
Twilight and Spike are now back at the present. They landed on the Friendship Map but it's altered. Mostly the Crystal Empire took over the map. Then they decided to see what has changed since the Castle is no longer there. Just the table. Ponyville is a ghost town. Stores, houses, buildings, all abandoned. There was little hope for the scenery. Twilight had a hunch that Sweet Apple Acers is still active. After a long walk for the two, they saw Sweet Apple Acers but it wasn't the same to them. It's more manufactured now. Apple Bloom and Granny Smith weren't even present. It was only Applejack and Big Mac working at the barn for the time being. When Twilight saw Applejack for the first time in a while, Applejack has no memory of seeing Twilight nor Spike. She only knew Rarity but that's about it. To Applejack, Twilight was talking crazy until she used her magic to drag Applejack towards the Friendship Map. Applejack then explains to Twilight and Spike about the War against King Sombra and the Crystal Empire. The fall of Equestria mostly as ponies all across the nation stands to fight while others suffer. It's a cruel world to live knowing that Celestia is busy fighting Sombra. Unable to attend to her subjects' needs. After the story, Applejack left them and headed back to the barn. The only way that Twilight can fix the timeline is by correcting it. Twilight used the spell on the Friendship Map sending her and Spike back to the past.
As soon as Twilight and Spike made it back to the past, Starlight crystallizes them. They remained frozen in the crystal as Starlight bragged about her revenge plan. By eliminating the Sonic Rainboom, their friendship bond would never exist and Starlight can have her friendship town back to the way it's supposed to be. The crystal was on a cloud sinking due to the weight. With one touch, the crystal fell until Twilight used her strength to break free of the crystal and flew back to Starlight where she was telling the bullies not to be mean to Fluttershy. Letting them know how fun it can be with all can be equal. Twilight was about to break it apart until she realized that Starlight trapped her. The Princess of Friendship about to break a new one in front of her. It got out of hoof as Twilight stepped back and saw Rainbow Dash flying. In her best efforts to at least get Rainbow to do the Sonic Rainboom, she tried talking to Rainbow about it but it was a bad move. Rainbow flew away from her making things awkward. Then a portal opened up as Spike and Twilight were sent back to the present when the timeline is altered once more.
As Twilight and Spike landed a second time, they were greeted by ponies covered in dirt and green coverings. They had a magic to detect the truth. Apparently, Zecora saw them and added some of them. They were not changelings at all. Zecora and the other ponies headed back to their village. On the way there, Twilight and Zecora had a long talk about the two timelines. Chrysalis was able to take over Canterlot thus imprisoning the ponies in the Canterlot Dungeons. Zecora taught Twilight once a timeline has been altered, a new branch of time is created which flows with new events to unfold. Once the ponies, baby dragon, and zebra made it back to the village, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Applejack found them. They were fleeing away from Ponyville claiming that they escaped from a changeling attack. Zecora and the others didn't buy into their story. Applejack walked towards them changing into Chrysalis. It took her and the swarm a long time finding the resistance. Now they can feed on the love of ponies once more. Zecora told Twilight to run and fix the timeline. Making sure this event doesn't occur. Twilight took Spike and headed back to the Friendship Map to go back in time.
Twilight and Spike are back in the past once more. Twilight wasted no time and went on the attack on Starlight Glimmer. She had enough of the altered timelines of chaos and suffering. As the fight went on, the bullies and Rainbow Dash became friends and enjoyed the fight. When Twilight saw them, she got mad and the portal opened once more sending Twilight and Spike back to the past.
When they arrived, it was night time. Timberwolves made themselves known. Twilight was too tired to use her magic to fight off the Timberwolves so they flee. They wind up seeing the Castle of the Two Sisters in nice condition. Once inside, they saw Rarity but like the previous timelines, she has no memory of seeing either Twilight or Spike. She made it obvious that she doesn't socialize with dragons. When Twilight basically shouted about fixing the timeline, they had no idea that Nightmare Moon heard what they said. Apparently, they were in her throne room. Nightmare Moon became intrigued in hearing the source of using time magic and feels that nopony but her should be powerful enough to use time magic in her kingdom. When Spike laughed for a second by saying her kingdom, Nightmare Moon demanded who else. Spike answered Celestia which made Nightmare Moon laughed. She then told them about imprisoning Celestia in the moon for years now. Nightmare Moon used her magic to levitate Spike and chained him Using him as bait for an agreement. Twilight agreed on showing Nightmare Moon how time travel works but warns her about the Timberwolves in the everfree. Nightmare Moon laughed and went forth into the everfree blasting every Timberwolf standing in her way. One by one, the Timberwolves were getting obliterated on the spot. Finally, everypony came at the Friendship Map. Nightmare Moon felt happy now that she can use it to ensure her future. Twilight quickly used her magic to bring Spike back to her and goes back in time. Now Nightmare Moon is doomed as her future will be lost for good.
It's now a race against time. Twilight and Spike battling Starlight Glimmer. As Starlight continues to intervene with the Sonic Rainboom, more branches of time are created. Each one far worse than the next. Tirek destroying all the land ponies made, Discord ruling an absolute chaos world, Flim and Flam destroying Sweet Apple Acers. There have been numerous catastrophic events in all the timelines created by the interference of the Sonic Rainboom. It came to a point that Twilight had enough. When Starlight stopped Rainbow Dash from achieving the Sonic Rainboom, Twilight used her magic to drag Starlight back to the present.
Twilight, Starlight, and Spike landed on the Friendship Map hard. As each of them got up, they were horrified to witness the unimaginable. Ponyville is in flames. Louds roarings can be heard in the skies. As they turned, a dragon fell out of the sky. Twilight, Starlight, and Spike moved out of the way as the dragon landed on the Friendship Map breaking it. The dragon was heavily scarred with fresh bite marks around it' wings and arms. Spike gathered enough courage and walked towards the dragon's eyes. As it opened, it spoke;
"You...should...run away little one...it's not safe here...on suicide hill..."
"Run...before...they...get...you...There's an ally...in...equal...pacific...go...now..."
The dragon died giving Spike emotional scars of seeing a dragon die. Twilight and Starlight heard the dragon's final words.
"What and where is Equal Pacific?" Twilight asked.
"It's my village."
"Then that's where we have to go! Now!"
Twilight, Starlight, and Spike ran towards Starlight's village. On the way there, they saw towns scorched, buildings breaking apart and collapsing, bodies of ponies killed, eaten or ripped apart, dragon blood, feces, and bones, necromancer body parts everywhere. The current timeline proved to be a hellish nightmare.
6 hours later, Twilight, Spike, and Starlight are at the Equal Village Starlight created but it's very different. Everypony there are military ponies, griffins, zebras, and yaks. All different creatures together and working. As they went down, all eyes were pointed at them until one pony, in particular, came up to them.
"Starlight! What are you doing here? You're missing an important meeting!" Sunburst shouted.
"Huh? What meeting?"
"Oh Celestia, you have forgotten again."
Sunburst dragged Starlight to the middle house. Twilight and Spike walked cautiously to the middle house. The door opened revealing that the meeting is over. Twilight eyes widen for the pony who started to walk out of the house.
"Blaze!"
"Amazing, here I thought you died. How did you escape Canterlot?"
"What?!"
"Wait a minute." He observed Starlight Glimmer. "Hmm, it seems that you are not Starlight Glimmer nor a changeling for that matter. Please tell us where are you three from?"
"What?!" Sunburst shouted.
Everyone in Equal Pacific overheard Blaze's words. Now they wanted to know what's happening. Twilight, Starlight, and Spike sighed.
A pony walked out of the house, "Yes, please explain yourself Starlight."
Twilight, Starlight, and Spike were shocked to see the present Starlight Glimmer. She's wearing an eye patch, her horn is broken and has metallic back legs.
"Me?"
"Surprise to see yourself looking like this?"
"Since there's two of you, we'll be calling her Stars. Now please explain yourselves why are you here."
"We're here because our Starlight Glimmer changed history."
"Changed history? What did she change?"
"My friendship with five other ponies are crucial because each of us wields the Elements of Harmony. When removing the Sonic Rainboom, it causes a chain reaction for my friends and me. We wind up not becoming, not having our Cutie Marks and allowing whatever evil creature to spread itself ruling or destroying life itself. I've seen many futures. Each one worse than the last but this future takes the cake."
"You're telling us that you change one aspect that caused this to happen?"
"I didn't," Twilight looked at Starlight. "She did."
"That would make sense considering that the Elements of Harmony are destroyed. When Nightmare Moon came, she destroyed the elements but Celestia was able to stop her and revert her back to Luna."
Eyes widen for Twilight and Spike.
"Can I ask you something?"
"What is it?"
"What happened to the Princesses?"
"Celestia and Luna are far away. They still don't trust me so those who believe me in changing the tides of the war, came here. Those who didn't go with them. Equestria is more divided. Two sides of a coin and in the middle, we have war."
"Can you explain why necromancers and dragons are fighting each other?"
"Yea, Nero came back stronger than ever. Turns out he went away to another dimension and had no problem feeding the hatred over there. There was a lot more there than here. When Nero came, he destroyed the Discord statue and drained the remaining chaotic magic. He became invincible but I'm still his weakness. You." Blaze pointed to Spike.
"Me?"
"What is your name?"
"I'm Spike."
"Oh great. I now have seen what baby Spike looks like."
"Uh, excuse me."
"Yea," Twilight said, "what did you mean by that?"
"Judging from your expressions, I'm guessing your Celestia never told you."
Spike and Twilight looked at each other then looked at Blaze.
"Told us what?"
"Celestia stole you from your parents years ago."
"What?!" Both Spike and Twilight shouted. Starlight remained silent. Listening to everything that is being said.
"It's true. How else would Twilight be able to hatch you when she was younger?"
Twilight and Spike couldn't think straight after hearing that. Now they wish this is all a nightmare but after Spike pinching himself and Twilight, it wasn't a dream.
"Spike," Blaze walked up to him, "You're parents are gone. Celestia broke a dragon, pony treaty thus sending everypony into the Dragon Wars. The Grand Dragon and I are best friends so no harm came towards me and a few others. The Dragon Wars lasted for a couple of years before another treaty was made. Ponies in Canterlot had to give up they're first born to the dragons. Then peace was made, however, Celestia and her scientific ponies kept you, Spike. They used their magic to manipulate your body. You changed and grew faster. Your mind also changed. Then once you were fully grown, you left Canterlot. I wind up finding and we became friends but we don't see eye to eye. 3 years later, Nero came and war happened a second time but this time, it's a one-sided affair. The ponies are no matched for Nero and his army's power. The Dragons are and they were fighting off the Necromancers ever since. Their scales are tough enough to withstand physical attacks. Their minds, however, can be manipulated which causes them to be infected with a Necromancer's power thus killing them from the inside. Now, we've been trying to find different ways to end this war. Right now, we only have one way. I need to find Nero and stop him but it'll be hard."
"Twilight! We can go back in time and fix our history to prevent this!" Spike shouted.
"Hmm?"
"Sorry Spike, I can't. The dragon you spoke with crash landed broke the Friendship Map. I doubt we could go back now..."
"Great. So much for that idea. Thanks a lot, stupid."
"It's her fault anyway!" Starlight shouted pointing at Twilight.
"Wrong! You had to mess up the timestream thus sending all of us into Tartarus itself. You're at fault here."
Stars went up to Starlight Glimmer.
"I can't believe the other me would throw away everything over vengeance. If I could trade places with you I will in a heartbeat but I can't. You created this so it seems fitting that you help us out here."
Starlight remained silent. Not wanting to talk back.
"You said that I died in Canterlot. Can you explain what happened there?"
"Certainly, Nero and his forces attacked there first. It became an onslaught in Canterlot as nopony was prepared to fight. Shining Armor and the Royal Guards were defeated by an endless army of necromancers. The survivors of Canterlot either fleed or eaten. Canterlot fell off the mountainside. Crash landing killing other ponies in town. The necromancers were able to turn other ponies into necromancers themselves. If a pony has too much intellect, they will either drain your magic and knowledge or turn you into one of them. From what I heard, they drained Twilight."
"What about Cadence or at least King Sombra?" Spike asked.
"Cadence found the Crystal Empire along with King Sombra. Cadence begged, pleaded Sombra for assistance. Sombra agreed but under a few conditions. Cadence wind up marrying King Sombra to rule the Crystal Empire together and save the Crystal Ponies from being turned into necromancers. Right now, the Crystal Empire is our only ally on the pony side of Equestria. Everyone else chose to be with Celestia and Luna. What I do know is that they're in the depths of the Castle of the Two Sisters. Planning for a strike against Nero."
"Right now, we need all the help we can get while the Dragons are holding off the necromancers in the skies." Stars said.
"Will you help us?" Sunburst asked.
"Yes, I will help you bring down Nero," Twilight said.
"Me too!" Spike shouted.
"Starlight? Are you going to back away from a mess you created or are you going to fix it?"
Starlight Glimmer remained silent. The future she's in is mesmerizing. The horrors, the blood shattered even herself. Missing eye, broken horn and metallic back legs. She created a devastation and wants the madness to stop.
"Alright, I'm in..." Starlight said while being unsure of herself.
"Then it's settled. You three will be helping us take down Nero. Come Stars, its time to sleep."
"Huh?" Spike, Twilight, and Starlight said at the same time.
"Forgive us but he's a stallion that I had my eyes on for the longest. Also, he's my second friend I made in my life."
Blaze and Stars kissed as they headed back to the house.
"Tough crowd when you don't see the unexpected," Reaper said.
"Sorry, but who are you?" Twilight asked.
"I'm Reaper. One of Spike's best dragon buddies for the last 13 years. By the way, I now have a chance to mock him for his baby years."
"So, where is Spike now?" Spike asked.
"I don't know where he's at, to be honest."
"Oh..."
"But hey, at least you can see what we can do as a United Equestria."
"United Equestria?" Starlight questioned.
"That's Blaze's dream. To unite all creatures under one nation but Celestia forbade it. After this war, another one will begin for dominant power."
Twilight and Spike sighed after hearing another war.
"So, what's going to happen now?" Starlight asked.
"We are moving in a few days. Looking for survivors first then plan a counterattack against the necromancer army. I can't wait to kill them. They took my family and friends away from me." Reaper said.
"Nero will get what's coming to him. We guarantee that." Twilight shouted.
"Good. It's time to start planning."
Twilight, Starlight, Spike, Reaper, and all the other creatures began to work together. Now that the Friendship Map is destroyed, there is one way to set things right between the timeline and its by taking out Nero and his army. It'll be a difficult task but Twilight has faced the impossible and conquer it with friends all around. It may not be Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie but as long as the Magic of Friendship is by their side, they will not lose hope.
Outside of the timeline, somepony else has witnessed the events unfold. She'll be joining the crew soon enough...
After packing for a three-day travel due to the necromancers and dragons fighting in the skies, every creature went to sleep. Starlight couldn't sleep. She kept on thinking about the end of the world she is witnessing. She's the reason why all of this is happening. Stars can't even look at her knowing what she did out of vengeance. Seeing Stars with one eye, a broken horn and two missing legs are unbearable to look at. As Starlight looked upon the night sky hoping all of this can be a nightmare, Stars left her house to check on Starlight.
"Can't sleep huh?"
"I'm the reason why everyone is suffering. I just want what I lost to come back."
"What was it that you lost?"
"My home. My town. The equal society I had before Friendship came and took all of it away..."
"What was it like then?"
"Everypony all had an equal Cutie Mark. Nopony in town was better than the other. Everything and everyone basically was the same. I on the other hoof, I hid my Cutie Mark and drawn an equal Cutie Mark so I can make things easier when ponies were searching for a new place for equality. Also, it allowed me to use my magic to extract the Cutie Mark off of ponies. Times were good until everypony got their Cutie Marks back and Friendship basically ruining what I've built. "
"So, why did you built the town?"
"You're me. You should know this."
"No, I don't know this cause the world I'm living in is Tartarus. Friendship is key here and without it, I would have never made the friends I have today and I would have never met the love of my life. So tell me why you built the town?"
"It's because of Friendship that Sunburst left me when he got his Cutie Mark. Once he was sent away, I became lonely and had no other friends because I didn't have my Cutie Mark."
"Oh, that feeling. Well, hate to tell you but Sunburst was never sent away."
Eyes widen for Starlight from hearing her counterpart say that.
"Well, actually, he refused to go due to the attacks that took place with the Dragon Wars."
"When Celestia fought the Grand Dragon?"
"Yea, Celestia's idiotic mistake was kidnapping the egg thus breaking the Dragon Pony Treaty. Celestia here isn't the brightest. She has her moments but mostly, she made bad decisions ever since Luna was banished."
"I see. Well, how did you lose your eye, horn, and legs?"
"I fought off necromancers on my own. They swarm but I held my ground for a while. I grew tired as numbers keep showing up. One necromancer scratched me so hard that it took my eye right out of its eye socket. Then another necromancer came and pulled my horn so hard as others held me in place. The snap of my horn caused enormous pain. That's when Blaze found me and he took down thirty-six necromancers at once. Each other decapitated by his sword. We ran the other way till a dragon came and accidentally landed her foot on me. The dragon is the reason why I lost both my legs. It was shattered beyond repair and so, the Yaks and Blaze came up with an idea for me to walk again. That is why I have these metallic legs. Also, Sunburst is another reason why I have these legs. He's the one who designed it as the yaks toughen up the metal using other bits of the sword Blaze uses."
"Well, that answers another question that I have in mind."
"Tell me this. Do you have other friends?"
"No..."
"Why not?"
"They are pointless to me..."
"So pointless that you'd be willing to destroy an entire future just to get what you want?"
Starlight remained silent after hearing that statement.
"Look, until you start having friends, you will remain miserable for the rest of your life. Change and live a little will ya. Now if you excuse me, I have to see how my friends are doing."
Stars left Starlight alone as she had no else to talk with. Starlight Glimmer decided to sleep outside for the night. Least then, she won't cause any more problems. Morning has arrived and everyone is up. Every creature went to their prospective groups to begin the search for survivors. Starlight Glimmer will be going with Blaze, Stars, Reaper, Sunset Shimmer, Twilight Sparkle, and Spike. They'll be heading towards the Crystal Empire to recruit the Shadowbolts along with Spike and his gang. Starlight Glimmer did not have a good night sleep as she thought about what Stars told her, Friendship and everything that has ever happened to this timeline.
"Is everyone ready to go?"
They nodded. Starlight nodded weakly.
"Good, let's get moving."
Blaze and Stars were in front of the group leading everypony and dragon towards the Crystal Empire. Along with their travel, all they can hear is dragons and necromancers fighting each other in the skies. Several necromancers fell to the ground bleeding to death. Hours went by during their travel and they have seen no survivors on their end. It's not surprising to Blaze that there are none that need saving but still, to keep an eye out for another who is struggling.
As a day came to an end, everypony set up camp. Starlight didn't even bother to help. She is devastated due to her actions. Cities scorched, dead bodies everywhere and an everlasting battle between dragons and necromancers. It's still too much to bear with. Stars came by but she only saw disgrace. Starlight Glimmer saw herself and looks down. Stars came closer swallowing the hatred she has for her alternate self.
"Hey..."
Starlight remained silent.
"Alright, listen you."
Starlight looked at her.
"You need to snap out of this. Really, you need to. Otherwise, your just dead weight being dragged with us."
Starlight looks down at the dirt.
"Fine, be the dead weight you are. You are nothing. You having nothing and therefore why bother helping somepony with nothing left. Why bother helping us when you are gaining nothing from what you are seeing and experiencing By now, you should have known what you really need but guess I'm wrong. Wanna be terrible then you are doing a great job at it."
Stars left Starlight Glimmer alone. She headed back with Blaze as they started to gather firewood. Starlight Glimmer remained where she is. Unfazed by what her counterpart has spoken to her. Without friendship, Tartarus came to Equestria. It's a living nightmare. Sunset Shimmer noticed how Starlight is feeling and decided to check on her.
"Hey...Are you feeling alright?"
Starlight looked at Sunset and shook her head no weakly.
"I know exactly what you're going through. Being neglected for losing something precious, going on a tirade and now, trying to make matters worse for our benefit."
Starlight nodded weakly but refuses to look at Sunset Shimmer. Sunset decided to sit next to Starlight but Starlight looks the other way. She feels that she doesn't deserve any attention from anypony else for causing all of this.
"It'll get better in due time."
Starlight is now looking at Sunset.
"H-How?"
"For starters, we'll need more allies to help us."
Sunset offers her hoof to Starlight.
"You want my...help..?"
"Yea, you are one powerful unicorn. You may have more magic than Twilight over there and you are compatible with combat. Discord and I had a hard time capturing you when we went searching for you in the caves."
"Yea, but I used the cave's element to my advantage for escaping. Not for fighting."
"Exactly my point. You exploit an advantage to better yourself in a situation. I bet you can do the same thing against Nero the Necromancer. It just needs to take time with the right friend beside you."
Starlight Glimmer thought hard about this. She hasn't had a friend in such a long time. Sure she used to have her village and things her way but a true friend such as Sunburst, it's been a long time. Starlight smiled a bit and shook Sunset's hoof. The two smiled and Fiery Flames flew out of Sunset's head and lands on Starlight's head which startled her a little.
"Uh...hi?"
Fiery Flames hugged Starlight's horn which made Starlight uncomfortable for a brief moment.
"Don't worry," Sunset giggles a bit, "that's his way of showing his love for a new friend."
"Really? By hugging?"
"Yea. His way of knowing that a friend is around the corner making the right decision."
Fiery Flames stopped hugging and flew right back to his mother. Landing on her head and resting on her hair.
"So is the baby phoenix like your pet or something?"
"Nope. He's my son. My baby boy."
"Cute."
"Come to join us for supper Starlight."
"I think it'll be best that I stay here. Away from Stars since I...upsetted her."
"Alright then. I'll bring supper to you and you and I can eat."
"You sure you want to do that for me?"
"Of course. We are now starting to become friends after all."
"...Friends."
Sunset left Starlight for a few minutes. Starlight ponders about having Sunset as a friend. Does she really deserve one now? In this world's condition. Why is she being nice to her? Is it a plan for the crimes Starlight committed. There has to be some logic to it. Sunset came back with apples, bananas, and berries. She used her magic to set an old book with paper on fire for Fiery Flames to eat.
"Thanks, Sunset."
"You're welcome Starlight. Now, let's eat."
The two ate their suppers and had a nice time talking with each other. Getting to know one another better. Twilight ate her supper and read a book to keep herself occupied. Reaper took the first shift to keep watch. Spike went up to Blaze as Stars decided to keep watch with Reaper.
"Uh, Blaze. Can I ask you some questions?"
"Sure, what's on your mind?"
"What is this world's Spike like?"
"Well for starters, he's one of the tougher dragons. Second, he has a strong hatred for Celestia and most of ponykind. Third, he hates anything with a corruptive mindset and most importantly, he doesn't let anyone down in the darkest hour."
"So, how did you and him became best friends?"
"He and I traveled a lot together. I told him everything about me and he told me everything about him. We both don't like Celestia. Spike during his rush stages of growing up, he finds Equestria disgusting."
"Uh, why?"
"Well, it's doesn't shout out dragon. It's too colorful, to say the least, and everything must be governed. In the Dragon Lands, it's basically one dragon in control of all the others and they can do whatever they want to do."
"So, what does this world Spike do?"
"Well, he brings the fight to the enemy. He was one of the first few to stand face to face with Nero and gave him a run for his money in the first fight on Suicide Hill. He got lucky when Celestia and Luna joined in but it ticked off Spike because that was his fight. The ponies were no match for Nero. Dragons, however, they can last longer which is why the Dragon Nation is battling in the skies. So far the Dragons are winning. Spike right now is taking his time recovering but we don't know where. This is why we need Sunny Flare and the Shadowbolts to bring Spike back cause by now, he should be 110%."
"So how much longer will it take for us to get to the Crystal Empire?"
"Another day or two to say the least. We are taking a shortcut after all."
"We are?"
"Yea, I do know my way around in Equestria so I know every pathway to certain destinations."
"Will Sombra help?"
"Of course he will. He's my best friend."
"R-Really?"
"Yea. I know him better than anypony. Sure he has his moments but he's a nice guy when you get to know him. He's different and sometimes Celestia doesn't like difference."
"Huh, that is clearly not our Celestia."
"Really? How so?"
"Celestia has a kind heart. She'll listen to everypony. Help support everypony and smiles."
"That's how Celestia is here but she has certain hatred against fellow ponies and creatures. Nothing really is the same."
"Blaze, I do have another question."
"What is it, Spike?"
"Whatever happened to Queen Chrysalis and her Changeling Army?"
"They were destroyed by the Necromancers for interfering. Nero took liberty and annihilated Chrysalis himself. It was an epic battle but Chrysalis fell short. She just wasn't powerful enough."
"Did you tried to help out?"
"Yea, it didn't go so well. The necromancers surrounded a young mare after her eye and horn were ripped apart."
"Wow...So is this mare uh...?"
"Yes. My beloved Starlight Glimmer. For now, though, she's Stars. Turns out that Celestia sent an Armed Alicorn Force to stop Nero but ultimately failed."
"Armed Alicorn Force?"
"Different specialist of magic and flight. They took down a lot of necromancers but proven to be too much. If I hadn't stepped in, they would have been drained first then die. Things can't be helped at times but in the end, you gain something out of it."
"So, was Stars the only survivor from the Armed Alicorn Force?"
"No, there are three others who did survive but I'm not sure what happened to them. They left me with Stars and I took her to safety."
"Wow. How long ago was this?"
"Two years ago while the ponies and necromancers were fighting each other."
"Wow."
"They are still no match for the power of a necromancer. I tried to warn them but they didn't listen. Like Celestia stupidity, they chose to ignore me. I hope my buddy Sombra can help me bring down Celestia in the next war. To create a United Equestria where all creatures of all kinds can live in harmony together."
"So, uh...how did you and Sombra become best friends?"
"I took refuge in the Crystal Empire for a while since Celestia and Luna were far away from the kingdom. I noticed a colt in the cold along with the Crystal Guards just north of the Empire. He can only say one word during that time so the guards decided to name the colt by the one word he would say, Sombra. I decided to pay close attention to Sombra for a while. Throughout his youth whenever I saw him walking around the empire, I would have small talks with him. A few weeks later, he introduced me to Radiant Hope. We became friends right then and there despite I was older than the both of them. Then when the Crystal Faire came, he would normally get sick for some weird reason. I decided not to celebrate the Crystal Faire until he felt better. Apparently, he had a condition that every year the day of the Crystal Faire came, he'll get sick. Hope and I stood by and watch him suffer in agonizing pain. Before the Crystal Faire days came, Sombra, Hope and I would have amazing fun throughout the years. One day, I visited the Crystal Heart with Sombra and Hope. The Crystal Heart revealed my destiny. To create a United Equestria filled with all creatures within the world. I now know that the heart wasn't lying. As for Hope, she saw herself as a Princess. Sombra however, he would turn into a demon but refused to tell all of that including in the presence of Princess Amore. After a few years, Sombra started to change. Soon enough, I figured out something out of the ordinary. An Umbrum Crystal was sticking out and with my very own eyes, I saw my best friend transformed into the creature everypony knows today. He turned into King Sombra, shattered the Princess and took the empire away for one thousand years. Now that he's back, he alongside his two wives are now bringing forth the army we need to take down the Necromancers once and for all. Sombra, Hope and I talked to each other, had our fun as friends but it's every now and then when the necromancers are not present. Hoping to change all of that soon."
"Wow. So when was the last time you saw Sombra?"
"Three months ago. We talked as we fought the necromancers with the dragons. He got injured and I took him back to Cadence and Radiant Hope. He refused to be escorted back to the Crystal Empire. Him being an Umbrum Demon Pony change a lot about his perception and personality. I am working on a spell to reverse the effects but still, need time to perfect it."
"How are you holding up from all of this?"
"Not so well to be honest but have to be strong for those that I love and protect those who can't defend. It's a cruel world out here little Spike."
Twilight finished her book and Reaper came by to check on her.
"You alright, Twilight?"
"Yea, I'm fine Reaper." She looks at him. "Is Reaper your real name?"
"No, it's the name I have chosen to get back at the necromancers who killed my family, my sister, and taken my wife away from me."
"What was your original name?"
Reaper looks at Twilight and sighs.
"Sorry, I cannot tell you my original name. It brings back many memories. I need to stay focus on the task at hoof."
"Sorry for asking."
"It's fine really."
Stars came by with more firewood for the fire. She saw Reaper engaging with Twilight and let them be. She tossed the firewood to brighten the area. A dragon landed next to Blaze and Spike. Only Twilight, Sunset, and Starlight were startled by the appearance of a dragon.
"Blaze."
"Kate."
The two looked at each other and hugged each other. Stars is happy to see Kate for the first time in several months.
"I see you're going forth with fighting the necromancers."
"No," Kate shook her head. "I'm here to give all of you a ride to the Crystal Empire."
"What?"
"You heard me pony boy. I'm taking you all to the Crstyal Empire. Sombra is in need of your assistance."
"Perfect. Everypony! Pack up your things. It's time to get moving."
After a few minutes of packing up, everypony got onto Kate's back and she flew everyone towards the Crystal Empire. She saw her fellow sister dragons flying towards suicide hill to bring the fight to the necromancers. Kate waved as she flew towards the Crystal Empire. Everypony but Blaze, Stars, and Reaper saw the amazing view. There are some areas that the necromancers haven't touched. Spike is observing Kate thoroughly. She looks similar to him and he thinks about seeing his actual mother. Spike walked onto Kate's neck. As close as he can without falling off.
"Uh Kate, my name is Spike. Did you once had a child?"
"Nice to meet you, Spike. Yes, I once had a child but he was taken away from me. I never got to see my baby dragon grow. It was after I saw him age and taking control of the next generation of dragons."
"Is the dragon name's Spike as well?"
"Mmmhmm. My husband and I never got to name him cause he never hatched from his egg. When I saw my baby, I can see hatred in his eyes. That is something I did not want to see from my child. I am glad to see my baby dragon. It's a shame that you're from a different timeline."
"Wait, how did you know I'm from a different timeline?"
"Well, for starters, dragons are more intelligent than ponies. Second, I know my own baby dragon from the moment I see in their eyes. Third, we dragons have a sixth sense for sudden changes. In the night sky, the stars align themselves very differently. Lastly, we received a message from Blaze once he found out about the sudden news about altering timelines. He uses his magic to send telepathic messages as far as he can without the presence of necromancers. So far, he only managed to reach to us dragons. It's more than enough cause we are faster fliers than the pegasi."
"Hey, know any pegasi named Rainbow Dash?"
"Yea, she's with the Shadowbolts as we speak."
"Really?!"
"Yes. She suffered a broken wing which is now metallic. She is no longer on Celestia's side of the war. She and Indigo Zap are now the fastest pegasi Sombra's army has to offer."
"Wow. Twilight!"
Spike ran for Twilight which Twilight flew towards Spike.
"What is it, Spike?"
"Rainbow Dash is alive and is at the Crystal Empire!"
"What?!"
"It's true, Twilight. Rainbow Dash is at the Crystal Empire. She along with other survivors from Celestia's army has chosen to reside with Sombra's army."
"Kate, who else you know is with Sombra?"
"There's Maud and Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Applejack. Flash Sentry I think and Soarin."
"What about Fluttershy?"
"The animal lover? She died four years ago when a necromancer took her life. It possed her pet bunny, Angelo, I think and killed her."
Twilight eyes widen that Fluttershy was killed by a possessed Angel Bunny. Spike couldn't believe that Fluttershy in this world died.
"I would chat more but we are here."
Kate flies down cautiously and lands in front of Sombra's castle. Sombra waved at Blaze from the balcony and made his way down. Hope and Cadence saw Kate and Cadence was happy to see Twilight. She flew and hugged Twilight. Spike is confused for the way Cadence is feeling. He thought that Cadence would not be this energetic. He thought Cadence would be depressed and less of herself. Everyone else got off of Kate's back carefully. Kate then takes off heading south of the empire.
Blaze waited for Sombra's arrival. As he saw his best friend coming closer he smiles.
"Long time no see huh Sombra?"
"Too long my friend."
"How you holding up?"
"Better. Ready for round three with them creatures of the underworld."
"Where's the army?"
"North where the Umbrum Crystal is at. I came close the other day of setting the creatures free from their imprisonment."
"Sombra, they are not the answer to defeating the necromancers. You know that of all ponies here."
"I know. They want freedom but I understand from your point that I'm not one of them despite being created by them."
"Then you should know that this is your kingdom. These ponies here are yours to protect. You have two wives. Why throw it all away in pure darkness."
"The voices...they won't leave me alone."
"Right. I'm still working on that spell for you. I need more power to perfect it."
Sombra looks down. Despite his powerful magic, it's nowhere near close to taking down Nero. He had his battles against him but not alone. It bothers Sombra to a point that he feels like a weakling.
"Look, even I had my downfalls against Nero but I'm still fighting. I'm not giving up and neither should you."
"I know," Sombra stomps his hooves hard on the ground that it cracked viciously. Everypony looked and stared at Sombra.
"You're causing a scene again Sombra."
Sombra looks at the other ponies. Then he turned his face away to hide his shame.
"I'll take you to the army, Blaze."
"Not just yet my friend. I need to speak with Sunny Flare."
"Flare? You want to bring the dragon?"
Blaze nodded his head.
"Figures. Alright then. I'll take you to Sunny Flare."
Twilight came up to Sombra.
"Excuse me, King Sombra?"
"Hmm?"
Sombra turns to see Twilight.
"Where is Rainbow Dash?"
"She's with Sunny Flare and the rest of the Shadowbolts. Come along if you wish to see them."
Sombra escorted Blaze and Twilight to Sunny Flare and the Shadowbolts on the eastern side of the Crystal Empire. From there, Twilight saw Rainbow Dash flexing her metallic wing. Rainbow Dash also has her left ear ripped and a scare on her left eye.
"Sunny Flare! You here?!"
Sunny Flare came out of her house to see Sombra. Then she saw Blaze and came up to him.
"Hello, Blaze. What can I help you with?"
"I need you to send a signal for Spike The Relentless and his squad to come here to the Crystal Empire."
"Alright then. That'll take me two hours to conjure enough magic to make the signal for him."
"Thank you."
Blaze and Sunny hugged each other. Twilight went up to Rainbow Dash with a huge smile on her face.
"Hi Rainbow Dash!"
Rainbow Dash looked at Twilight but had no emotions for her.
"Hey. What's up?"
"Do you know who I am?"
"Celestia's student that saved as much ponies in Canterlot as she died in the process. I am surprised to see that you're alive and more surprise to see that you are an Alicorn. Did I miss something here?"
"Well, there is a lot that I need to discuss with you and a few other ponies."
"Who else?"
"Applejack, Pinkie Pie, and Rarity."
"Why them?"
"It's something important that can possibly defeat the necromancers."
"Alright then. Say no more. You have my interest."
Rainbow Dash zoomed off. Flying in the sky then landing back down in front of Twilight.
"Now, I'm pumped up for action."
"Quick question, can you perform the sonic rainboom?"
"Yes, but I found something more powerful than a sonic rainboom. I found out by flying faster with somepony capable of matching speed can create the ultra rainboom."
Twilight's eyes beamed with amazement and adrenaline. She smiled widely as Pinkie Pie have when she first saw the rainbow for the first time.
"What does the ultra rainboom do?"
"Well, our bodies become a rainbow and our speed is twenty times faster. Also, we can create a tornado in control by the way and the impact of our hits are powerful to move mountains. We can give the necromancers a run for their bits but unfortunately, if we are not moving, we lose our ultra power. Must have consistent movement at all times."
"Point taken. So I'm guessing you and Indigo Zap pulled it off?"
"You guessed correctly. We pulled it off numerous times but Nero gets in the way and ruins us before we can take him out. I hate him with all my heart."
Twilight sighs a little then looks at Rainbow Dash.
"Well, for what I have to say, it'll be a long story."
"I'm cool with it. I just need my popcorn for long stories."
"So, do you know where Applejack, Rarity, and Pinkie Pie are at?"
"They should be around here. Getting ready for the next battle. I'll show you the way around here."
Rainbow Dash showed Twilight around the eastern side of the Crystal Empire. They were able to see Applejack, Rarity, and Pinkie Pie along with Maud eating together in the mess hall. Neither of them was talking to each other. It didn't really bother Twilight as she is used to the changes in between timelines. She is just thrilled to see familiar faces. Twilight and Rainbow sit with them. Silence reigned. Nopony even bothered to recognize that Twilight is an Alicorn.
Out of place and out of the timeline, it'll take a while for Twilight to explain Friendship is Magic and the possibility of taking down Nero the Necromancer once and for all...
After a few moments of silence, Twilight Sparkle finally spoke.
"Hi, girls."
Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Maud, and Rarity look and see Twilight. Then they had the heads down for a brief second before looking at her again.
"Twilight?" Pinkie and Maud said.
Twilight nods. Maud Pie beamed with excitement and hugs Twilight. Pinkie sits and stares at the scenery. Twilight is left confused by the manner. Expecting Pinkie to be this energetic.
"Uh, did I miss something here..?" Twilight said.
"Nope," Pinkie said. "Maud is sometimes more energetic than I. Honestly, I don't know where she got it from but it's one of life's wonders in the universe we live in."
Twilight is stunned from what she's hearing. Normally it's the other way around.
"So, uh...what are you girls up to..?" Twilight asked.
"Well, we've been gathering as much needed help to fight alongside Sombra and his army. Sombra is thinking of aiding the dragons in the next few days and so." Applejack said.
"Yea, no matter how dreadful things are, it's up to us to set things right." Rarity stated.
"That's why we left Celestia's army and joined Sombra's. We need a better tactic than a straight-up assault on those necromancers." Pinkie stated.
"So, that's why we are here. So, uh...why are you here Twilight and what's with the Alicorn getup? Last I recalled, you save thousands of ponies by convincing them to leave Canterlot before it fell." Pinkie said.
"Oh, that's a long story which I'll tell you."
Twilight explains everything. She explains how time was manipulated in some many ways leading to horrible future events. She also, explains that time travel is the key to set things right. After a while of narrow things through, everypony understood the situation better. Twilight also mention how Magic of Friendship is Equestria's strongest weapon.
"So, there is a chance we can stop Nero after all. We gotta use this Magic of Friendship to kill Nero." Rainbow stated.
"No, no no no no no no no! Magic of Friendship doesn't kill. It does something different." Twilight said.
"Then what does it do?" Pinkie asked.
"It can defeat disharmony. Perhaps weaken Nero long enough for Blaze, Sombra, or Spike the Relentless to kill him once and for all." Twilight said.
"Whatever it may do, I'm in," Rainbow said excitedly.
"Me, too," Maud said.
"And us as well." Applejack said.
Rarity and Pinkie nodded in agreement.
"This can work but I'm not sure how. The Magic of Friendship is intertwined with the ponies who can call each other friends. Friends till the very end. By now, Nero probably absorbed its power." Twilight said with her head down.
"Well, not exactly," Rainbow stated.
"Yea. Right after we left Celestia's army, we snagged the Elements with us. Hoping that Blaze can use them but he didn't have much knowledge required for us to use it properly." Rarity said.
Twilight's eyes beamed opened. She looked at the girls.
"Can I see them..?" Twilight said shakenly.
Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie, Maud, and Rainbow Dash took out all 6 Elements leaving Twilight at disarray.
"Y-Y-You actually have them..."
"Yea, but as we said, we don't know what to do with them," Rainbow said. "Even Celestia didn't know what to do with them. The Elements deemed her and Luna not worthy of wielding them."
"I think I know what to do but we need Sombra, Blaze, Hope, Spike the Relentless, Stars, and one other friend."
Twilight and everypony else left the mess hall and search for Blaze and Sombra. Blaze and Sombra head towards the gates of the Crystal Empire. 2 hours have passed, Sunny Flare shoots a signal for Spike the Relentless and his squad to come by. In a few moments, Spike the Relentless and his crew lands in front of Sombra and Blaze.
"Spike."
"Blaze."
The two salute and nod to each other.
"So good to see you, my friend."
"Likewise. What's up Sombra?"
"Not much. Just recovering and getting back at Nero."
"This time, we'll take him down together," Spike said.
"Damn right we are."
"Spike, we need you by the Crystal Heart."
Spike nods and flies towards the Crystal Heart. Sombra and Blaze go back towards the Crystal Castle. As they walk back, Twilight and the gang ran hoping to find Sombra.
"Twilight, everything alright?"
"Yes." Twilight looks around. "Where is Spike?"
"Right here!" Spike the Relentless shouted and lands in front of everypony.
"N-Not that Spike but mine..."
"Oh, Cadance took him upstairs for him to sleep," Sombra said.
Twilight shakes her head to wake herself up.
"Anyways, I have an idea on how to weaken Nero long enough for either of you to kill him once and for all."
"How?" Sombra, Blaze, and Spike asked.
"The Magic of Friendship and the Elements of Harmony."
"Huh?" The trio asked again.
"Allow me to explain," Twilight said.
Everyone sat down. Even Sombra and Spike. Spike's crew flew by and decided to listen to the commotion.
"The Elements of Harmony are fueled with the friendship deep down inside of everyone. The Elements choose who is worthy depending on the personalities of the wearer. Only six ponies or quite frankly, any six creatures can use the Elements once chosen. The Elements may not work on me, Rainbow, Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie, and Maud but that doesn't mean it can work on a different set of friends. Once the Wielders are discovered, the bonds of friendship intertwine thus the Magic of Friendship blossoms. In ancient Equestrian history, the Elements of Harmony has never been defeated by a creature of pure darkness and evil. Therefore, we have our weapon to take down Nero the Necromancer once and for all. The Elements nor Magic of Friendship doesn't kill, it can weaken him long enough to get the job done."
"So, who you think the wielders should be, Twilight?" Sombra asked.
"Well, it should be you Sombra, Blaze, Spike, Hope, Stars, and maybe Cadance."
"Hmm, a strong possibility but I'm a pony from a family of Necroponies. Sombra is a creature of Umbrum. Spike is a Dragon. Why would the Elements deem us of being worthy?"
"It's through Friendship that counts. Otherwise, it wouldn't work. Plus, it wouldn't hurt to try to see if you are deemed worthy."
"Alright then. I'll call for Stars and Cadence come down."
"I'm on it Blaze," Sombra said.
Sombra goes inside the Crystal Castle and asks his wife Cadance and Hope to come down along with Stars. As all 4 came down. Twilight aligns the Elements of Harmony. Spike, Sombra, Blaze, Cadence, Stars, and Hope gaze at the Elements. Wondering which Element they'll get. At first, nothing happens. After sometime later, there is no movement of the Elements.
"Of course, it doesn't deem any of us worthy. We're wasting our time with this while Nero is getting stronger."
Twilight uses her magic to ignite the Elements for she possesses the Element of Magic in her. The Elements of Harmony understood Twilight as things are different. Turns out that the Elements have a stronger power than most ponies even she can comprehend. The Elements of Harmony are not affected by time manipulation. Now they need to seek a new host for the remainder of this timeline. Everyone witness a change within the Elements of Harmony.
"Unbelieveable. It's...working."
The Element of Honesty goes to Sombra, the Element of Loyalty goes to Spike, the Element of Laughter goes to Cadance, the Element of Generosity goes to Stars, the Element of Kindness goes to Hope and the Element of Magic goes to Blaze. Then a sparkling aura rises when everyone got their Elements.
"It's so bright and colorful!" Maud shouted.
After the aura clears, everyone is now gazing upon the new Wielders of the Elements.
"Sombra... You're different."
Sombra is no longer bound to the Umbrum, he is now free. He feels different and renewed.
"The Elements...they cured me..." Sombra said shakenly.
Hope and Cadance hugged Sombra. They were happy to see an Umbrum free Sombra.
"The Elements, they made me more powerful," Sombra said now cracking a smile for the first time in a long time.
"No, us. The Elements made us more powerful. I feel that our Friendship is growing as long as we have trust and faith in each other. Though, I thought you'll get the Magic Element and not me. Fate had other plans."
"It doesn't matter. What does is stopping Nero." Sombra looks around. "We've gotta get to the army. Its time to lead the charge. Rainbow, get Indigo. I need the Ultra Rainboom of yours to distract Nero."
"Yes, King Sombra Sir!" Rainbow shouted.
"No, it's Commander Sombra."
Everyone but Spike and Blaze gasped.
"It's time I make thing right within my Kingdom. Within the Crystal Empire."
"Commander, it'll be an honor fighting alongside a true ruler of ponykind. My crew and I got your back." Spike said.
"Can't let you take all the fun. Those Necromancers needs a thrashing."
"We've got your back too." Cadence and Hope said.
"I go where my stallion goes." Stars said.
"Then it's settled. As for you Twilight, you and your friends get ready. It's going to be a bloody battle."
Twilight nodded and gets her friends ready for the upcoming battle. A few hours later, everypony whose with Sombra's army is ready. Spike the Relentless and his Dragons are in front. Twilight, Starlight, and Sunset have their armor on. Customed made by Sombra's blacksmith. Fiery Flames is hiding in Sunset's mane and Spike is on Twilight's back holding a spear. The Shadowbolts are next to the dragons. Rainbow and Indigo are in the air. The new Wielders of the Elements are in the step forward as Sombra is about to make a speech.
"For years now, we've been fighting an enemy who seeks control on all life and ending all life. We're fighting an enemy who is pure darkness and evil. In ancient times, darkness does not prevail. It is the light that shatters the darkness. We are the light. The Elements of Harmony are now reinstated. I along with my best friend Blaze, Stars, Hope, Cadence, and Spike are now the new wielders. Instead of waiting for the enemy to come to fight us, we bring the fight to the enemy! We will show that we're not afraid! We will not give up! We will rise!"
Everyone roars and cheers.
"Nero! If you hear us! We're coming for you!" Sombra shouted.
Spike the Relentless, his dragons, Indigo and Rainbow takes flight as Sombra leads the charge heading back to Ponyville for the fight of the century.
Days past but it didn't matter, the motive to take Nero down thrives everyone to keep going. They are the light that swallows the darkness. Fear no longer lingers in everyone's heart as they make their way through to Ponyville.
Spike the Relentless and his dragons took down some of the necromancers in the skies. Rainbow and Indigo performed the Ultra Rainboom and annihilate some of the necromancers as well. They are moving at a fast pace. Sombra takes down some of the grounded necromancers and everyone else that saw necromancers fight them off. Twilight zapped and put some to sleep. Spike uses his spear to pierce the heart of the sleeping necromancers so they stay down. Starlight and Sunset zap the Necromancers allowing others to stab them. Spike the Relentless roars and breathes fire burning some of the necromancers.
The battle wages on for hours as more necromancers come. Nero finally makes himself know and took down several dragons left and right. Kate charges at Nero and he takes her down with his hellfire wail. The wail causes eternal bleeding which also causes her blood to boil.
"Pathetic dragon."
More dragons came and try to attack Nero but fail. Nero grabs the two dragons with his claws and thrown them to the ground. Other necromancers grab and tear them limb by limb.
"Finally, a day when everything dies!" Nero said as he lands on the ground.
Then Princess Celestia and Luna come into the battle with their army. They took down the necromancers. The groups that went searching for survivors days ago come as well. Everyone united at last taking down a common enemy.
"Who told you about this?" Sombra asked.
"We received a telepathic message from our leader. Time to end an era. So here we are." Sunburst said.
"Oh goodie, everyone came to die!"
Nero uses his hellfire wail once more but was blocked by Blaze's sword.
"Why you little.."
"Prepare to die!"
Blaze jumps then Celestia and Luna strike Nero using their combined magic. Indigo and Rainbow still in their Ultra Rainbow form crashes into Nero. This cause Nero to feel immense pain. When he looks up, Spike the Relentless steps on Nero and uses his tail to whiplash Nero into the skies. Twilight Sparkle flies up as Spike is on her back and attacks Nero. Stunning him as Spike throws his spear piercing him in the chest. Cadance flies up and knocks Nero back to the ground. Sombra and Hope used their combined magic to blast Nero in the face as he is hurling into a mountain. Spike the Relentless picks up Blaze and Stars and hurls them towards Nero. They used their combined magic to hit Nero with everything they got. The mountain breaks. Nero looks up and sees Blaze's sword coming down piercing him through his chest. Everyone regroups and takes a breather. Nero gets up and chucks Blaze's sword away.
"I'll admit, that hurt like hell but you'll pay for it with your lives!"
Nero charges a fire sphere above him. With all the hate, evil, and darkness he's generating with; Blaze, Sombra, Spike the Relentless, Stars, Hope, and Cadance got together. They tapped into the Elements of Harmony and transformed.
"Time's up!" Nero throws his fire sphere at the Wielders.
"We don't think so!" The Wielders say.
They block Nero's attack and shatters it. The light growing from the Elements of Harmony blinds Nero as he screams.
"Everyone together!"
Blaze, Sombra, Spike the Relentless, Stars, Hope, and Cadance combined their friendship into one ultimate attack as the Elements blasts Nero. Taking away a lot of his power and magic rendering him weak. Nero stood after the attack and laughs.
"That's...your best shot."
Everyone gasps. They are stunned as Nero is still standing after the attack.
"It...didn't work..."
"Of course it didn't...Hehehe hahahahaha."
Nero takes a step forward then collapse on the ground.
"It did work," Twilight said.
"Quick! Someone! End Nero's life already!" Sunburst shouted.
Starlight Glimmer walks up Nero who is laughing on the ground. She removes Blaze's sword out of him.
"Don't listen to them. You still have a chance for your equality. Join me and you'll have what was stolen from you."
Starlight Glimmer listens to Nero and looks around. Everyone is tired then she looks back at Nero.
"Join me and things go back to the way they were. No interferences from anypony wanting to ruin what you build."
"I have what I want." Starlight said as she used Blaze's sword to decapitate Nero. She uses her anger to slice Nero's head multiple times then use her magic to disintegrate him. Leaving no room for regenerate. "I have a friend."
As Nero disintegrates, the other necromancers start to die. The skies were no longer black as Equestria begins to heal while everyone is silent. They couldn't believe what they have seen. It's over. It's finally over. Sunburst cheers and everyone else does so. Years of devastation and fear is being swept away. The Wielders of the Elements use their magic to heal all of Equestria. Princess Celestia and Luna went up to Twilight. The two were stunned to see her as an Alicorn but she'll explain to them another time. The table that separates time and space is now renewed by the Elements of Harmony. Blaze and Celestia, however, saw eye to eye.
"Truce?"
"For now. We have unfinished business with you."
Celestia and Luna took flight and headed back to the Castle of the Two Sisters.
"Are you still going to have another war?" Twilight asked.
"Yes. I envisioned a United Equestria and I will see to it. You, however, have to go back and fix your timeline."
"Wait, wouldn't this timeline be erased?" Sunset asked.
"No. Timelines have branches. When time is altered, a new branch is created. Right now, you have to go back and create a new branch that plays out exactly as it should. Don't worry about us though. Creating a new world would be a piece of cake."
"Mmmmmmmmm....cake," Maud said.
"This is a weird timeline that Pinkie won't believe," Spike said.
"We bid you farewell Princess Twilight Sparkle."
"Thank you," Twilight said.
''No," Commander Sombra said. "thank you, for helping us take down this tyrant. Good luck Twilight."
Stars went up to Starlight.
"You know, you proved me wrong. You can change and you did. You now have something. Don't lose it. Fight for it and claim it."
"I will Stars. I hope things getter better from here."
"It will Starlight. It will."
The two hug each other. Fiery Flames gets out of Sunset's mane looking for a fight but there isn't one. Everyone had a good laugh. They say their goodbyes and left.
Twilight, Spike, Sunset, Fiery Flames, and Starlight Glimmer goes back to the table that connects to the Castle of Friendship. Using the time travel spell, everyone goes back and made sure that Rainbow Dash wins the race as Fluttershy fell. Then a time vortex opened up as everyone goes back in time. When everyone arrives, the castle and everything looks the same as it was. Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie, Fluttershy, and Rainbow Dash came in running. After a while of explaining everything to the girls, they embrace Starlight for a new friend to join. Even Discord made an appearance which startled Starlight.
"Starlight Glimmer! I welcome you to the Reformers!" Discord shouted as confetti explodes behind him.
"Uh, thanks Discord."
"Don't worry. You'll get used to his antics." Sunset said.
"Group hug!"
Everyone gets pulled into a group hug by Discord. Things are back to normal but for how long?
