> Twilight's Pokemon Trainer student > by MegaCheesy > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > School Daze - Part 1 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Because we're gonna open a school!" Joe Inkwell is your average 10-year-old Pokemon Trainer. His short brown hair tucked under his blue hat, with a matching shirt. His brown backpack filled with extra clothes and supplies he needs for his Pokemon. His tan trousers lined up with a belt, holding his two teams of Pokemon. His neck littered with Mega stones, his wrist wrapped with a Z-Crystal. He was all set for this new school. Team 1: Scorch (Typhlosion), Sly (Sceptile), Lelia (Raichu), Eva (Gardevoir), Zach (Armaldo), Eleanor (Blaziken). Team 2: Bosco (Malaconda), Dixie (Plasmanta), Luna (Aurumoth), Sara (Syclant), Shade (Fidgit), Shyann (Pyroak). (If you have no idea who these Pokemon are, check out this link; CLICK ME!) Joe's jaw almost hit the ground at the sheer size of the school, it was massive! Joe quickly walked up to the school, only to see he was the only human around. Darn it! Well, I guess sharing a whole bunch of classes with ponies and dragons isn't so bad... Joe stood there in the middle of the crowd, noticing a few strange looks he got from his fellow peers. He ignored it, waiting for someone or somepony to give him some directions. His thoughts were quickly dashed when a female voice spoke up, who he could only assume it is Twilight. "Welcome to the school of friendship! I'm your headmare, Twilight Sparkle! Please follow guidance counselor, Starlight, to sign in and get your class assignments. Then, we can show your living quarters!" Twilight finished. Joe was about to sign in but had stumbled into someone. "Woah, dude, I'm sorry. I'm Sandbar..." "No harm was done, I'm Joe. It's nice to meet you, Sandbar. Do you want to walk with me?" "Sure." The two didn't walk very far before Sandbar stumbled into someone else, who gave the same greeting to this Griffon. That said Griffon, acted sarcastic towards Sandbar only to be called over by another (much older) Griffon. Joe caught his name, it was Gallus. Sandbar said he was interested in Gallus, so he left Joe to go after this Giffon. Joe shrugged it off and unclipped one of his Pokemon. Tossing the ball into the air, Joe said: "Come on out, Scorch!" Scorch is a Typhlosion wearing a brown, unzipped, puffy jacket. He has a long scar reaching done his right eye, something he obtained before Joe found him. He was so small then, but now he was a very buff lad. Scorch gave out a hearty laugh, hugging his trainer and giving him a noogie. "I can't believe my little man is getting into a school! You just as excited as the rest of us?" Fixing his cap, Joe was released from his older brother-like death hug. "Y'know it, buddy!" "Yak can't wait to meet ponies! And tell all about Yakyakistan!" Yona exclaimed running around before crashing into walls, flattening Joe in the process. Typhlosion picked up the clumsy Yak up, only for her to be escorted by one of the teachers. The teacher sounded a lot like one of his Pokemon, Shyann. "The dragons are better than this. Why am I here?" Joe looked over to see a Charmander-like dragon get yelled at by her mother? Is she her mom? Questions for later... Actually, all kinds of creatures were here, but there seems to be an odd focus on the kids Joe walked into. It almost like he's gravitated to them, despite some of them being too stubborn for their own good. It was strange, almost like Joe knew he had to bond with them. All of this is very strange... "Thank you so much for supporting the grand opening of our school! I hope you'll join us for friends and family day to see the amazing progress your students are making!" Twilight's speech was met with a large applause by the students. Joe gave Scorch a fist bump and recalled him back in his Pokeball He was walking with a group of his classmates, which he shared all of his classes with. They were all complaining about the classes being boring, which he full heartily agreed. He's only walking with them because Sandbar is the only normal one in the group. Although, the group got into a massive fight. Joe wanted to not say a word and let it unfold, but his annoyance levels were skyrocketing. He called out Luna and Eleanor. "Eleanor grab Gallus, Luna use Psychic to separate Yona!" Luna responded with a grunt and did what she was commanded. "On it, Boss!" Eleanor's youthful spirit kicked into full gear, becoming a blur. Eleanor soon reappeared with a Gallus in her hands. "Honestly, you guys are starting a fight in a school meant for friendship? Are you that dumb?" Joe was pissed. Luna agreed by saying; "Foolish children..." In her usual dark tone. But Joe not wanting to be on complete bad terms, let the two go, telling them to go to their next class. Joe recalled both Pokemon Joe was a little shocked to see what was next. There were all of the professors complaining about what other students are doing, but the headmare did not listen to their cries. Joe was confused, mainly about the EEA. Do they run the schools around here? Why can't this school be independent? It didn't matter, the professors looked saddened. Joe's only on his first day and he's already skipping classes. He may be a goody-goody, but even he can agree the classes were too uninteresting for him. He was sitting with the group he called dumb earlier, which was bad on his part. They were kinda nice when you got to know them, especially Ocellus. She did get them all out of class. They were all casually chatting by a lake, Joe saw a perfect opportunity to show off his Pokemon. "And that's why griffons breathe fire when we get mad." Gallus boasted. Silverstream tried to deny this but soon began to ramble on about something else entirely. "Oh, yeah? I'll show you some flames, Gallus." Joe quickly pulled out Shyann, the Pyroak. "You ready to make some fireworks, Shyann?" "Darn tootin'!"
