Angel had started a rucuss that his care-taker was having a difficult time managing. Angel had wanted a cherry on top of his Rabbit Sundae but one of the birds managed to swoop down and take it which enable the enraged rabbit to throw objects at the bird but then accidentally hit one of the weasels and so forth. "Please everyone...just calm down! Angel get off the counter, stop throwing the carrots!" Fluttershy screeched as loudly as her quiet voice could muster. Oh dear. She thought. This had been happening for the past few weeks; her animals would get frustrated with something that usually had to do with Angel bunny and then they'd proceed to destroy her cottage. Fluttershy's eyes darted back and forth. She could feel the stress piling and building. "Every creature STOP!" she yelled, surprisingly loud. Each animal ceased its current activity to turn and look at the pegasus. "That is quite enough. You will all calm down and clean everything up this instant," she demanded. She heard an arguable squeak from Angel but instead of yelling or saying anything she just looked at him with her well-known stare and watched as the bunny immediately stopped. "Goodness gracious," she sighed. "I apologize for yelling, I just...I just got a bit stressed is all," she said. The animals nodded and hung their heads, feeling bad for making Fluttershy feel this way. She was a good care-taker and didn't deserve their rambunctious attitudes. Fluttershy spent the rest of her afternoon cleaning up with the help of her animals, who had gratefully settled down. After all the mess was cleaned up, all the creatures had calmed down for a nap. Fluttershy sighed happily as her cottage was back to its usual, clean self. She sat down on the green coach in her living room, the one that Discord always slept on whenever he came over or stayed the night. Fluttershy hadn't actually seen her draconequus friend for a while and wondered if he was currently busy. It wasn't too late and Discord didn't really have a set schedule. The buttercream pegasus walked up to her bedroom and grabbed a necklace with a key from the bedside table and hung it around her neck. Discord had given it to her so she could have the ability to visit him whenever she wanted. Fluttershy grabbed the key and pushed it into the air, creating an invisible door and keyhole, which opened to her delight. She couldn't see anything past the door frame except for a white glowing light. She took a deep breath and walked through, trying to remind herself that it was safe. When she reached the other side, it led her straight to Discord's front door. Convenient. She thought. Fluttershy reached out and knocked on her friend's door. She waited a while before two yellow eyes with red pupils appeared through the door to look at her. Fluttershy had gotten used to Discord's shenanigans and use of magic so she wasn't too surprised. The door opened and Discord greeted his dear friend. "Why Fluttershy, been missing your old pal Discord have you? Frankly I'm hurt you didn't come sooner but no matter," he said, shaking away the middle part, causing Fluttershy to feel somewhat guilty. "I'm sorry Discord, truly I am, I've just been so busy and such," she apologized. Discord patted his friend's head, "Tut tut dear Fluttershy. All is forgiven, do come in to my humble abode," he welcomed, giving an elegant bow as he allowed his pegasus friend to enter his home of chaos. Fluttershy smiled, happy to see a different scenery than her own home. She walked over to one of his coaches and sat down before sprawling herself out across it and grabbing one of the pillows, bringing it close to her chest as if to snuggle it. She closed her eyes for a few brief seconds, enjoying the chance to finally relax, but when she opened them she was face to face with Discord, who was eyeing her questionably. Fluttershy could feel the heat rise to her cheeks as she buried herself deeper into the cushion. "Comfy?" Discord asked, amused towards his best friend's behavior. Fluttershy gave a sheepish nod. "Stressful day?" Discord wondered aloud. Fluttershy let out a deep sigh and nodded once more. "Angel was just stirring up some trouble at the cottage again but-" "That rabbit," Discord grumbled, interrupting Fluttershy, "He should learn to control his temper." Fluttershy giggled and raised a questioning eyebrow to the Lord of Chaos. "What?" he asked defensively. Fluttershy smiled and just shook her head. "Nothing." Fluttershy, once again, stretched her body across Discord's sofa. Discord raised his lion paw and began massaging her back, to which the buttercream pegasus groaned in delight, which also, for some reason made Discord feel somewhat...weird? He quickly shook it off. He was just glad that Fluttershy was relaxing. "My dear, you need a vacation, some time off from your daily endeavors," Discord proclaimed, feeling the tension and knots in Fluttershy's back. "Mhhm, maybe. But I don't know if I could leave the animals for-" "Get Spike or Applejack to do it, aren't they both good with animals and such? Or you could just hire somepony to check on your pets on a timed schedule. Either way, I believe that a trip is way overdue for you my dear." Fluttershy thought about it for a second. "I'll sleep on it. There's still much I'd have to sort out, and I don't even know where I'd go." Discord nodded slowly. "Well if it's any consolation, I'll try to help in any way I can." Fluttershy smiled to her friend's comment. "Thank you," she said quietly, feeling tired. She allowed her eyelids to fall softly in front of her teal eyes. It felt like two minutes but somewhere in the amount of twelve hours she had fallen asleep, Discord had taken her back to the cottage and laid her in her bed. When she woke up the sun was just peaking through her curtains and she felt welly rested. Fluttershy looked around her room, her eyes falling upon some sea shells on the desk against the opposite wall. She was thinking and putting pieces together, pondering was Discord had said the past night. Quite suddenly, Fluttershy leapt out of bed and trotted down the stairs. All the animals were just waking up, but still laying down in their beds. After she quickly filled up their food bowls, she rushed out the door towards Sweet Apple Acres. A few hours later, Fluttershy had returned to the cottage and was now packing her suitcase. The animals all turned to look at her in confusion. When she had finished, there was only one thing left to do. "Discord?!" she called, somewhat loudly in means to summon him. She waited a few seconds before her draconequus friend appeared in front of her. "You called my de-" he stopped mid-sentence, eyeing the bag next to his pink haired friend. "What is this?" he asked, stroking his goatee. Fluttershy smiled widely, "I asked Applejack if she would watch the animals but she was busy so I got Spike to do it for a few gems. I packed and already have the destination but umm...there's one more thing..." she silenced herself, looking towards Discord who seemed somewhat impressed that she had managed to pull all this off within a few hours. Slowly, Fluttershy pulled out a train and boat ticket from her bag and handed them towards Discord. "I umm...remember that time when I was leaving to Yak Yakistan and you asked if you and I were going on a vacation, and you mentioned this place called..." "Puerto Caballo," Discord finished, recalling the memory. "Yes and well, I figured that I didn't really want to go by myself..." "Oh of course. Let's see, there is Pinkie Pie, though she might be too much of a handful...Rainbow Dash, but she might want to do too many sports...hmm...Rarity would be a bit of a bore, no offense..I can't see Applejack as being the beach pony type and Twilight...well I mean, she's pretty busy with all her royal-" "No, no. Discord you misunderstand. I wasn't planning on going with either of those ponies, I want to go with-" "Starlight perhaps? Maybe even Cadence? Oh wait a minute, it's Treehugger isn't it? Ooh, what about the Smoo-" "Discord!" she said sternly, recieving his attention. "I want to go with you...if you accept my invitation," she asked, finally getting it out. She waited a few seconds before looking at Discord's face. It seemed to be a mixture of surprised, happy, confused and thought. "You don't have to say yes...I was just-" Discord put a finger to her lips to silence her before looking her in the eyes and then standing up to his full hight and raising his hand in a posing kind of way. "It would be an honour, me dear, to take this trip with you. I accept your proposal." Fluttershy blushed and gave a wide smile before wrapping her hooves around his neck in a hug. "Thank you Discord. I really didn't want to go alone and I just thought that...well after everything that has happened, you might want a break too." Discord smiled, fond of her kindness. "You never cease to amaze me my dear," muttered. He took a breath as the two of them parted, "So when do we depart?" he asked. "Tomorrow morning we go to the Train Station which will take us to the docs where we will take a boat to Puerto Caballo," she explained. "Ah I see. Exactly when do we have to arrive at the Train Station?" Fluttershy paused, thinking. "At exactly eight o'clock," she answered. Discord seemed to groan, "But that's so early," he whined. Fluttershy chuckled towards her friend's antics, "It won't be that bad." "Hmm, if you say so." > Welcome to Puerto Caballo > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Discord yawned as he and Fluttershy made their way towards the Train Stop. It was quite early in the morning, too early for Discord's liking anyway. The birds were chirping and all was well. When they had gotten to the platform, there were very few ponies around them, some of which were giving Discord odd glances. When the train pulled in, Fluttershy smiled cheerfully and made her way easily through the door while Discord had to duck. The two of them sat next to each other and put their luggage overhead. They talked through most of the ride and would occasionally stop to snack, but when the hours dragged on Fluttershy felt herself grow tired as she eventually fell asleep on Discord's eagle arm. Discord laughed as he made her slowly increasing drool disappear, until he too fell asleep with his head on top of hers. The both of them awoke, jolting upwards, to the train whistle blowing loudly. Fluttershy quickly flew up and grabbed her luggage while Discord just made his appear in his hand. The two of them had argued over why Discord had actually needed to bring a suitcase in the first place. He simply stated that it was for comedic affect and propaganda as well as style. Fluttershy had just laughed. When the two of them exited the train, the air and temperature around them was quite hot and humid. Discord looked proudly towards the area on his right as he fashioned his paw and claw on his hips while levitating his suitcase. Suddenly, a beige sunhat with a pink ribbon and flower appeared atop Fluttershy's head. She looked up towards her draconequus friend. "Ah, Puerto Caballo. My dear, this will be a trip you shall not soon forget, which means you cannot burn yourself through the first day. No, no. Not on Discord's watch," he said defiantly. Fluttershy giggled and tipped her hat towards him. Her vision was somewhat obscured but from the length of sight she had, she noticed the smile on Discord's face. "Now. Onwards and upwards!" he shouted. Fluttershy rolled her eyes with a grin and followed Discord with her suitcase being held by her mouth, until Discord began to levitate it as well. The weather was perfect: blue skies, warm and humid air and a cool breeze that swept past the palm trees. The scenery was made up of white sand that felt like powdered sugar according to Discord. Nearly everywhere you looked there was somepony selling something interesting like jewelry or experiences such as sailing, scuba diving and much more. There were many taco places and a very strong smell of sea salt from the ocean mixed with salsa and guacamole, which oddly enough smelt pretty good. Fluttershy loved it. "Thank you for mentioning this place to me Discord, it's lovely," she said, taking in the relief of not having to worry about what Angel was up to. "No problemo Ms. Shy, after all it was you who invited me on this little endeavor was it not?" he replied, not expecting an answer. "Yes, yes it was. And I'm glad I did, this probably would've been no fun without you. I owe you this at least Discord, for everything you've done for me and my friends. It's no trouble. No trouble at all." Discord made a clicking sound with his mouth and nodded for a reason he didn't know why. When he and Fluttershy made their way to the nearest hotel there was a light blue unicorn behind the desk with dark red hair that was tied up in a messy bun. She had a name tag that read Sandy Bloom. She looked up towards the pair with a confused look on her face. "Hello, how are you this evening?" Fluttershy asked as a common courtesy. "I-I'm doing quite well, a-and you?" she replied, still clearly confused. "I'm doing very well myself, thank you. My name is Fluttershy and this is my friend Discord an-" "Wait! You're Fluttershy? As in savour of all Equestria Fluttershy? As in reformer of the Lord of Chaos Fluttershy? Oh my god, oh my god, oh my go-" "Yes, yes. We're all aware that Fluttershy is a little superstar and what not but I, Discord Lord/King of all things Chaos, would like to settle down, get a room and jump in the water with my rubber ducky. Kapeesh?" he interrupted. Fluttershy rolled her eyes once again and laughed. "Please excuse him, he's still new to manners and greetings and things," Fluttershy noted, giving Discord a look that meant, Aren't you? Discord just grumbled and folded his arms while he turned his gaze to one of the many windows. Fluttershy looked back to Sandy Bloom, "So do you have any two bedroom rooms available?" There were a few clicks made on Sand'y keyboard as she searched the system before biting her lip and giving out a sigh. "I'm dreadfully sorry, but it seems that this hotel currently only has single bedrooms available," she said. Fluttershy looked towards Discord who was still currently distracted. She bit the inside of her cheek and thought for a moment. It wouldn't be too weird would it? I mean you too have slept in the same room before right? She thought, but then there was a second voice in the back of her head. Yeah but not in the same bed Fluttershy exhaled, not noticing that she had been holding her breath. "Do the rooms have a couch?" she suggested. Sandy seemed to think for a moment as well. "Yes, yes they do. Why? Is one bedroom gonna be a problem for you two? Because, you know, since you're a bearer of the Elements of Harmony I'm sure we could find someth-" "No, no, no. I'm sure it'll be fine. We'll just take a regular room," she smiled. It'll be fine, Discord could always materialize a bed, right? Sandy nodded her head and grabbed one of the keys hanging behind her on a wall. "Here are the keys to room 174," she said, holding out the set of two keys. Fluttershy nodded and said a quick thank you before grabbing Discord and heading towards the hallway behind them. She looked around for something but she wasn't sure what. To her right there was a small metal wall, but she couldn't figure out why it was there. Discord gave her a confused look as he simply just walked up to the elevator. As Discord pushed the button to go upwards, Fluttershy's eyes lit up as the button did so. "Why did it glow? Is it magic?" she asked. Discord gave a light laugh as he looked towards his friend. Discord had forgotten that Fluttershy had always lived near and in Ponyville, while only having the occasional visit to the big cities. "You see my dear, this is called an elevator button, and its purpose is to activate the elevator behind these steel walls," he explained. Fluttershy eyed the, so called, elevator doors with curiosity. Soon enough a ding sound could be heard and Discord watched in light hysterics as Fluttershy made a swift jump at the noise. The doors opened and Fluttershy took a cautious step back. Discord playfully rolled his eyes and picked Fluttershy up by her waist, thus stepping into the metal box and putting her down inside of it. The doors closed and Fluttershy was worried for a second, until she saw the calm look on Discord's face. She gave out a small sigh and smiled as the elevator slowly went upwards. > Getting Settled > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fluttershy flung her bags as gently as she could onto the couch in the right corner of the living room. It was a very nice living space but the fact that there was, apparently, only one bed still made her feel funny. Did Discord know yet? She looked over at the Lord of Chaos who was currently inspecting the apartment and realized the look on his face. Fluttershy realized that the answer to her previous question had just been answered. Yes. "Fluttershy?" he asked, with his paw and claw being held behind his back. "It seems as though there is only one bed present," he acknowledged. Fluttershy nodded her head, "Yes, it looks that way, but can't you materialize another bed or enlarge the couch or-or something?" she quivered. Discord took notice of Fluttershy's nerves and felt an opportunity arise as he grinned maliciously with her knowledge. "You see my dear Fluttershy, if I were to create another bed there would have to be room for me to put it but as you can see..." he gestured around the room, "The area is quite cramped. Then again I could probably move some stuff around but that wouldn't be very kind to do to this establishment. Enlarging the couch is another option, yes, but then where would we sit? It tis quite the pickle we are in. However, there is one option that I am quite fond of..." he trailed off. Fluttershy stared at the draconequus with a lump in her throat, what was he talking about? Was he suggesting that they share? Or he could just split the bed in half? Only time would tell. Discord could see the unease in Fluttershy's eyes and wanted to laugh but that would give it away. He walked closer to her. "You see my dear, the only true option that I see is...that I will sleep on the bed..." he got as close as comfortable to his friend's face, "While you sleep on the floor!" he yelled as he pulled his face away, rushed over to the bed and catapulted himself onto it and relishing in the feel of the sheets. "Discord! You nearly gave me a heart attack!" she yelped feeling flustered and somewhat foolish. Discord could see her red cheeks and burst out laughing. Fluttershy tried to hide her grin but seemed to fail in doing so. Soon enough both of them were laughing as Discord flew over and grabbed Fluttershy by the waist to threw her on the bed. "Rawwr!" he yelled playfully. She felt like she was being massacred by tickles. She was laughing so hard that she could feel her eyes begin to water. "D-d-d-disc-cord! St-stop i-it!" she cried in between giggles. Soon enough the both of them ran out of breath as the two collapsed on top of each other, with Fluttershy being entrapped by Discord's lion arm and part of his chest. "Hey, Fluttershy?" Discord whispered. "Hmm?" she answered. She could feel Discord smile before he, so bluntly, stated, "Has anyone ever told you that your laugh is adorable?" Fluttershy blushed and let out a small laugh. "No, actually. Has anyone ever told you that you're impossible?" she asked gleefully. "Hmm...actually yes, though usually, ponies say that in anger but," he positioned himself differently to look at Fluttershy. "I like the way you say it better." She felt like this situation should've felt uncomfortable but it didn't. It felt normal as if they had always done this. Fluttershy looked towards the Lord of Chaos and smiled at his closed eyes. He looked so peaceful when he was tired and she wished they could stay like this for a bit longer, feeling tired herself, but she also didn't want to waste the day away. "Discord?" she asked. "Mhh hmm?" he mumbled. "We should probably get up," she suggested. Fluttershy watched as his body rose off the bed but not entirely. He gave a small yawn. "As you insist my dear," he replied. Fluttershy sat up on the bed as she watched Discord walk over to his, unnecessary, suitcase. > Tourists and Locals > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Discord and Fluttershy walked out the front doors of the hotel, finally relishing in the fact that they could now relax. Discord took an exaggerated inhale of oxygen, puffing out his chest, before letting loose and creating a swarm of cotton candy to appear on a newly appeared cone in his hand. Fluttershy giggled as Discord ate the sticky substance. "Where to my dear?" he asked, claw and paw on whatever hips he had. Fluttershy shrugged. "The beach I suppose. Though it is a bit late." "Eh, we can squeeze in time for a quick swim," Discord said, "To the beach!" he exclaimed. Fluttershy smiled and rolled her eyes playfully. The draconequus took notice of her eye movements and pretended to be taken aback. "Did you just roll your eyes at me Ms. Fluttershy?" he accused. Fluttershy smiled and gave a meek, "Maybe..." "Tsk, tsk, tsk Fluttershy. Such rude mannerisms could turn you, though if you're lucky you won't be as bad as that devil rabbit of yours," he muttered the last part quietly under his breath. "I should do something to cease this intolerable madness," he claimed proudly. Fluttershy, accidentally and regrettably, rolled her eyes once more. Discord's eyes widened. "I think we're done here," he said. In one swift move, he had Fluttershy slung across his shoulder as he marched towards the beach. Fluttershy's mouth was agape. She began to playfully hit his back with her hooves. "Discord you put me down this instant," she retaliated, though her tone didn't hold much seriousness to it. Discord chuckled, especially to how easy she was to carry. Her small fits of anguish only enhanced Discord's motives for the current situation. He simply laughed and carried on. Fluttershy eventually gave up and decided to just enjoy the ride, though as they traveled further down the road Fluttershy couldn't help but notice the stares she was getting. But they were probably just looking at the silly scene happening before them. Fluttershy knew that she would want a second glimpse if she were ever in their hooves. Except there was one stallion who seemed to have an entirely different reaction. He looked so scared and weary. Fluttershy was about to ask what was wrong when, "Everypony run!! The Lord of Chaos is BACK and he's captured one of the Elements of Harmony!" What? This doesn't make any sense! Discord was reformed a while ago. Oh dear. A thick wave of panic rose from the streets as Discord turned around to see what the hell was happening. He cautiously put Fluttershy down but still kept her close and guarded her with his lion arm. "What's going on?" he seethed but with great confusion in his voice. Fluttershy turned her face towards him and realized how close they were. She felt a heating sensation but ignored it. "I-I think that they all think you're trying to kidnap me. Maybe they don't know about your reformation?" she questioned. Discord gave a blank expression. He slowly turned his head away to face the petrified faces. I should have thought about this. He scolded himself. Puerto Caballo is on the outskirts of Equestria. Of course not everybody knows about... He looked down at Fluttershy who was currently distracted and felt more at ease. Though, his sudden feeling of relief was sadly extinguished when some random pony began to start a riot against him. Discord gritted his teeth in annoyance. "Everypony, save the Element of Kindness!" the protestor yelled, dashing towards the two with a small group trailing behind him. Fluttershy gulped as she watched them draw nearer. She saw the look in Discord's eyes and also saw that he was about his to snap his fingers; probably to teleport them somewhere else. She couldn't let that happen yet. In a swift act of bravery, Fluttershy lowered Discord's eagle talons before the magical surge occurred and came out towards the racing crowd. "Everypony stop!" she cried, as loudly as she could muster. It was surprisingly loud. Discord was about to intervene but was stopped short as he witnessed the ferocity that began to glow around the buttercream pegasus. The mob looked bewildered and came to a halt that was mere inches away from Fluttershy. "You should all be ashamed of yourselves! Have you no intellect?!" she raged. The crowd looked confused. "But that's the Lord of Chaos, he tried to take over Equestria twice! We thought that he had turned to stone but there he is in the flesh!" one of the ponies inquired, pointing a dirty finger towards the said draconequus. "Yeah! And he tried to kidnap you!....I think," another mare proclaimed. Fluttershy shot nasty glares towards the crowd and felt such pain for her friend. "Listen! This is Discord!" she stated, pointing in his direction. Discord had his head bowed and he was rubbing his eagle arm with his lion paw, "Not long ago was he assigned to me for reformation. At first, that's all it was...a task. But my friendship with Discord grew and he is now my best friend!" Serval gasps were heard from the crowd, even Discord was astonished. Best friend? He smiled. "But he was evil," someone retaliated. "We all make mistakes. I know it may seem hard to believe but Discord IS good. He always was...he just needed a bit of help figuring it out," she replied, giving Discord a reassuring smile. Everypony around them seemed to exchange glances before it finally looked as if they had believed Fluttershy's proclamation. Most of them seemed embarrassed and even gave out apologies to the draconequus. Discord held back a smirk towards their pitiful behavior but managed to stifle it. Instead, he looked towards Fluttershy. She was so amazing. He had never seen such courage before, especially knowing that it was for him and from the timid little pegasus from Ponyville. She was truly astounding...and kind, intelligent, beautiful, caring- "Discord?" Fluttershy inquired, tearing the draconequus from his own...interesting thoughts. "Yesss?" he replied, looking downwards. "It seems a bit late for the beach now. Perhaps we should just go back to the hotel and rent a movie or something? I hear they've got some good ones." Discord thought about it. "Excellent suggestion my dear." Fluttershy smiled as the two of them made their way back towards the hotel. Most of the walk was spent in silence until Discord broke it, as usual, but this time he had something more sincere to say. "Fluttershy?" "Yes?" "I...I just wanted to say that I really appreciate what you did back there," he admitted. Discord never liked to share his feelings but he felt that it would be rude to not deem Fluttershy of her efforts and actions. No one had ever done that for him before. She grinned upwards at him. "I'm glad. I hope I didn't embarrass you or anything." Discord gave a light-hearted laugh and shook his head. "You did nothing of the sort. What you did...it was remarkable an...jus-...thank you," he finished, feeling somewhat flustered. "My pleasure," she replied. The rest of the trot was spent in silence. Fluttershy opened the door to their hotel room, feeling exhausted. She tossed her hat down onto the kitchen counter and walked into the bedroom. The two of them had forgotten to figure out the bed situation. "Fluttershy? What exactly is your proposition for the sleeping arrangements?" he asked, stepping into the bedroom to witness a worn out Fluttershy sprawled out on the bed. "Pick a film and come lie on the bed," she replied restlessly while on her back. Discord raised an eyebrow but was not feeling any discomfort towards the imposing situation. Discord eventually settled with the film Thor, mainly because it had a pony who was the god of mischief and Discord wanted to know why he hadn't been aware of the auditions for the part. Fluttershy slowly opened her eyes as Discord climbed onto the bed with her. She realized that earlier today the thought of her and Discord sharing a bed had made her uneasy but now...it felt completely normal and somewhat comforting. She smiled as she turned over onto her side. Both of them fell asleep with the movie still playing. The white noise had seemed to make it easier to sleep. Discord thought he had found peace but within his mind, he was fighting a battle. It was his subconscious, it had finally created a nightmare that got to him after so long. It was normal for Discord to get nightmares but usually he'd just ignore them. But this one seemed to pierce him a little more fiercely. Fluttershy was crying and backing away from him. "You haven't changed!" she shouted, cowering into the corner. Discord wanted to go to her, to comfort her and tell her that he had! But he couldn't move. It was as if he were watching himself approach Fluttershy in a menacing manner while he was backed against another section of the wall. He kept trying to reach her but he couldn't bring himself to speak or generate movement. Her cries pierced his ears and he felt an overwhelming amount of guilt begin to build. Suddenly the scene changed. He was standing before a raging mob of ponies and at the front was Fluttershy shouting accusations towards him. Discord slapped Fluttershy across the cheek but he hadn't meant to! He watched as she fell to the ground and rubbed her bruised cheek. I-I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to I swear! Oh please forgive me Fluttershy! He cried. Discord sat there in his own head as words were tossed back and forth to torment him and remind of all the gut-wrenching things he'd done. "Discord?" Fluttershy slowly groaned, waking from her slumber. She looked over to see the draconequus practically choking on his own tears! "Discord!!" she cried, brushing his forehead with her hoof. She began to shake him as tears started to streak her own face. Suddenly his eyes burst open as he sat upright and clutched himself before he collapsed back onto the bed. For a moment...a mere moment he thought he had died and he was being punished for his actions. Luckily he had an angel next to him. Fluttershy! He remembered. Discord grasped Fluttershy in his arms and turned the bedside-table lamp on as he brought her face next to his to examine her cheek. She was ok. Good. The last thing he wanted was to hurt Fluttershy. Slowly, Discord brought his lips towards Fluttershy's cheek and kissed it softly before clutching her close to him. The confused buttercream pegasus didn't hesitate to return the hug as she gently stroked his back. "Shh, shh, it's alright now," she cooed lightly. Discord felt calmer as he slowly sunk back down towards the bed. He had never cried in front of Fluttershy before. In fact, he couldn't remember the last time he cried at all. That didn't matter right now though. When all was quiet, Fluttershy used her tail to turn off the light. Discord slowly used his magic to place a blanket on top of Fluttershy who was still on top of him. Neither of them minded.
