Spring was a lot of things in Equestria, a season of renewal, of when the world came out of the long cold winter and became to warm up again as plants grew and animals came out of their hibernation. And once everything is settled in and winter comes to an end, the world has a newness to it that you rarely see the rest of the year as the flowers bloom.
Of course, spring comes with something else for ponies once everything is settled down. Its also the season that the mares of Equestria go into estrus, and while most ponies were able to deal with it, some had a much harder time. Especially if they weren't as used to it yet.
Which is where our story brings us to Sweetie Belle's cottage outside of Ponyville. The Unicorn mare had never been very good with this time of year, the heat tended to drive her crazy and it didn't help that she didn't have anypony to help alleviate it.

"Scoots, you live down the street, of course you were in the neighborhood," Sweetie said with a light chuckle as she looked at her friend. "So, uh, what brings you here?"
"Well, Twilight said you weren't sure if you were going to be able to teach our class today," Scootaloo said with a shrug as she gave Sweetie a light smile. "Apple Bloom said she'd cover for us, so I was thinking I could come check on you."
The Cutie Mark Crusaders once they were old enough had gotten jobs teaching at thee School of Friendship about cutie marks and the bonds that can be formed because of them. Twilight had been very happy with their work so far, so they had gotten a lot of freedom, and she figured that Apple Bloom could do the job just fine.

"I admit, its not easy," Scootaloo said with a blush. "You just have to know how to deal with it I guess. I just, take it one day at a time and avoid stallions as best I can, last thing I need is a foal before I'm ready."
"Yeah, though this is still unbearable..." Sweetie said as she locked the door and shook her head. "So why haven't you found yourself a special somepony anyway?"
"Oh, you know... just haven't found anypony I'm interested in," Scootaloo said. "I tried dating Rumble back in school remember? I don't think dating stallions is for me, there just wasn't anything there."

"Yes?" Scootaloo asked as she looked at Sweetie expectantly.

"Scootaloo, I want you," Sweetie said gently as she smiled up at Scootaloo and let her robes fall back. "I need you more than anything, are you sure you're ready for this?"
Scootaloo paused a moment, the truth was that her own heat was poking at the back of her mind. While it was under control for the most part, she was getting more and more aroused, not helped by the fact that she could smell Sweetie Belle's pheromones.

Soarin yawned a little as he stretched his wings out as he was heading into the Wonderbolts Locker Room after he finished his training session. He had been working on his flight speed and some tricks for the next show, which wasn't until next month, but he wanted to make sure he had it just right.
He opened up his locker and was about to put his training outfit away when the locker door was slammed shut by Spitfire who gave him a sultry smile.
"Uh, hey Spitfire, what's up?" He asked and blushed a little as Spitfire leaned in and gave him a kiss on the lips. "What are you doing? I thought we agreed not to let anypony..."
"Soarin', we're the only two here, everypony else has left, well except Rainbow Dash, but she's making out with Fluttershy and said they wouldn't be in here," Spitfire said with a smirk as she ran her hooves along her husband's body slowly. "Come on, we can have some fun here."
Soarin' blushed a little as she started pulling off his training outfit. "Wait, but aren't you in..."

"Look, uh, we won't tell anypony you were in here if you don't tell anypony we were," Spitfire said and rubbed the back of her head. "How's that?"
"Deal!" Rainbow and Fluttershy said as they walked towards the showers.
"Come on, lets go somewhere else and leave them alone," Spitfire said and walked past Soarin', her tail brushing against his snout as they headed out of the locker rooms together just as the sound of a mare moaning was heard from inside.

"Okay, that's one thing but I'm..." Soarin' said with a blush. "I'm still kind of wondering if maybe we're rushing a bit too much into this. I mean, are we ready to be parents?"
"Soarin..." Spitfire said and chuckled a little as she flew over and gave her husband a kiss on the nose. "I've never been so sure about anything in my life. I love you more than anything, and I want to have a foal with you. Its not like it just came up when I went into heat, I've wanted this for awhile, and you're going to make a great Dad."
"You really think so?" Soarin' asked as he looked into Spitfire's eyes.
"I know so honey," she said and kissed him again. "Please Soarin', I want this, I wouldn't have even considered it if I didn't. Come on, what's the worst that could happen?"
"I see your point," Soarin' said, actually he had thought about this a bit too. He wouldn't mind a little colt or filly running around, ponies he could teach how to fly, how to be Pegasi, it was an exciting prospect to him and he was glad to have a wife that was willing to do that. "Okay, so where's this spot you told me about?"
Spitfire smirked and turned around, giving him one more view of her marehood before she gave him a nod. "Follow me!" she said and sped off, Soarin' just laughed and took off after his wife.
They found a secluded mountain peak not far from Cloudsdale. There was a nice soft cloud bank above it and Spitfire went in for a landing as she motioned for Soarin' to join her and he went in for a landing.
"Wow, this is amazing," he said and looked out at the area around him. Equestria sprawled out from the mountains, he could see for miles around. "Are you sure nopony's going to come here?"

Soarin' paused a moment as the scent from her marehood hit his nostrils. He had to admit that it was definitely an interesting prospect and if there was nopony around, then he'd gladly do it. He just had to hope she was right about them being good parents, that was something that was going to bother him a little, but his instincts to mate with his wife was overriding those concerns.
He reared up as his stallionhood pushed out of its sheath and reached its full length as he pressed just the tip against the entrance. Spitfire let out a moan as she looked back at him pleadingly.

But was she really ready for this kind of thing? It wasn't that she didn't believe she could be a good mom, but she wasn't sure she was ready for it. She blushed a little as she looked at Octavia as she smiled at her, the beautiful earth pony mare gave her a smile as she thought it over.
She knew that they were going to be okay, and they were going to have to do this together. She smiled a little and leaned in and kissed Octavia softly on the lips before she nodded a little.
"Do you really mean it?" Octavia asked and Vinyl smiled and nodded more. "Alright, well, there's just one question of course. Which one of us will carry the filly, I wouldn't mind doing it, but its up to you. I love you Vinyl, and I would do anything for you. I want to have a filly with the most wonderful mare in Equestria."
Vinyl smiled and kissed her gently on the lips. She looked thoughtful for a long moment, they both had plenty of shows ahead, and they were going to have to make a choice now. She was happy to carry the foal, so what was she going to do? She smiled and patted herself for a moment.
"You really want to do it?" Octavia asked. "I mean, you don't have to if you don't want to."
Vinyl shook her head and patted her chest again. She gave Octavia a soft smile as she hugged her wife gently. She knew that she wanted to do this, even if it wasn't going to be easy, she just had to hope that it was going to be the right call to make.
"Alright Vinyl," Octavia said with a giggle as they rolled over and Octavia got up to look around through her bags. "I had Twilight put something together for us in case you wanted to carry the foal."
Vinyl blushed a little when she saw that Octavia had taken out a strap-on. They had only used toys every so often, so it was nothing new, even if she had always found it kind of weird. Still, she was a Unicorn and she could feel the magic coming off of the toy and she gave her a nod.
Octavia blushed a little as she got it all attached and looked over at Vinyl. She paused a moment as she tried to figure out what to do, the spell would draw on her own DNA and magic to impregnate Vinyl, but she wasn't quite sure how that was going to work.
As she fit it onto her however, she felt the feeling of energy flowing through her and took a deep breath as she looked over at Vinyl. Vinyl smiled as she leaned on the bed and pushed her tail to the side and turned around giving her wife an inviting smile.
"Are you absolutely sure about this Vinyl darling?" Octavia asked as she moved in closer and positioned the tip of the toy against Vinyl's marehood.
Vinyl thought about it for a moment, she had been thinking about this on and off of course, but this was the last chance to turn back. It wasn't just the pregnancy that worried her, they would have to stagger their schedule so that at least one of them was with their daughter at all times.

Vinyl nodded a little and gestured to Octavia. It was kind of a spur of the moment idea, but Octavia had been willing to do it before, so maybe she'd be willing to do it now? Still, even if she wasn't, one foal was enough for the couple, she gave Octavia a smile and waited for an answer.
Octavia was a bit surprised, while she had definitely wanted to have a foal, she hadn't thought that Vinyl would want them both to carry a foal. It was unexpected to say the least, but maybe she had the right idea, it would be nice to have two foals together, and they were going to be able to do this together.
"Alright Vinyl, I'd be happy to do it," Octavia said with a smile as she took off the strap-on and offered it to Vinyl.

"Yeah, we're fine," Octavia said as she looked down at the small filly she had been carrying in her womb for the past 11 months. She was a Unicorn like Vinyl with an electric blue coat and a yellow-white mane. Octavia smiled a little as she brushed the filly's mane back a little. "I know this was unusual."
"Unusual is one way to put it," Redheart said with a chuckle. "I know this spell is getting more popular, but I must say that I've never had two mares both use it in the same season. Are you sure that you're going to be okay? I know you both have your own jobs to do, so being moms to two fillies may be a challenge."
"Don't worry Nurse, we'll figure it out," Octavia said as she looked over at Vinyl who smiled a little and nodded.
Vinyl looked down at the Earth pony filly in her forelegs. She had inherited her mother's black mane as part of her coat, but her mane was blue. She smiled a little and nuzzled the filly gently.
"So, what are you naming them?" Redheart asked.
"Hmm, Melody and Symphonic," Octavia said and looked over at Vinyl who smiled and nodded.
They looked down at their daughters who were sleeping soundly and smiled. They still had a long way to go, but they were going to do it together.
