> A Midwinters Night Dream > by Knight Light > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > It Begins > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- She couldn’t believe how crappy her day had turned out, hell the entire week had been as if somebody was out to get her and seeing what had been going on, that was a very distinct possibility. Too bad Celestia was forced to hire a few security guards because of everything because now she couldn’t sleep in the storage room of the library or rely on one of the girls seeing how they wouldn’t even talk to her. With night now upon her, it meant that the few stores that she could go to browse in order to warm up was gone. It was a nightmare in a way, she didn’t own very many clothes and the warmest ones she had wouldn’t protect her from the frigid temperatures that was expected overnight. She was hoping that maybe one of the small convience stores was still open, but they were on the other side of town and the buses had already stopped running for the day which meant a long walk. “Hello little lady, you look a little down. How about a free fortune by the one and only Dr. D?” A man’s voice asked shocking Sunset as she never even realized anybody was there. Was surprised her even more was the gaudy tent that was decorated with so much glitter and lights on the outside that it would likely give even Rarity a heart attack. “Fortune?” Sunset asked, studying the tent, surprised the glow from the lights didn’t draw her attention moments earlier. Turning her attention to the tall, lanky man Sunset couldn’t help feeling a little weirded out by the guy. It wasn’t his mismatched suit, the sleeves being two different colors that Sunset couldn’t decide on since they seemed to keep changing every time she blinked. The creepy look on his face as his mismatched eyes sparkled with mischief made her want to avoid this guy as much as possible. “Yeperronie! Free fortune telling, free heat and maybe even a free hot cocoa to warm your tummy princess!” The man chirped, clapping Sunset on the shoulder before pushing her toward the tent by gently leading her from the small of her back. “I guess maybe a few minutes couldn’t hurt.” Sunset reluctantly agreed as the man didn’t seem to want to take no for an answer. Before she knew it she was sitting on one side of a card table that didn’t seem too sturdy resting in a folding chair with a space heater on the floor keeping the tent much warmer than it should have. Sunset couldn’t exactly say how she ended up in the tent, much less nursing a steaming cup of cocoa as the strange man settled down across from her dropping a crystal ball between them that he seemingly pulled from somewhere. “So my dear, it seems you have been having some trouble at school.” The man said, grinning at Sunset’s shocked expression. “Don’t look like that, I am a fortune teller after all. Well, of sorts.” “Of sorts?” Sunset repeated once again unsure if this was a good idea but something seemed to calm her and make her feel safe. “I’m more of a dimensional traveler and thought that maybe if I showed you what is happening to other versions of you then it would answer your question.” The man said nodding sagely. He was right, Sunset was questioning if there were other hers in other worlds, would they be having troubles like this. Would they have turned out like a spoiled little bitch like she thought of her old self. Would she have been more successful in her life unlike Sunset who had been wondering if she wasn’t just some big failure in life. The problem was, even if he could answer her questions there, many more came up such as who was this man really? And how did he seem to know so much about her? Was he even safe, or was he another threat discarded by Equestria? He created many more questions that he would be answering. “Don’t fret sun butt junior, I won’t bite.” The man grinned, “I assure you I am no threat to you or anyone here.” “Discord!” Sunset gasped pointing at him in shock. “Now young lady, didn’t your mother teach you any manners?” The man asked before a look of realization crossed her face. “No, I suppose she didn’t. She was never mother material I suppose. This is neither there or here or anywhere near. This is just a chance to peek into the lives of some of your many alternates spread throughout the multiverse. That way, maybe you can get a matter of perspective on your life. To see what you are capable of and maybe show you just how great you really are. How important you are to every universe you are in.” “And how do you expect to do that? Show me everything through a crystal ball?” Sunset asked making Discord suddenly burst out in a fit of laughter. “Oh no Sunny Bunny, this is just decoration. You will be experiencing their lives, feeling everything and seeing everything as if you lived it. You won’t be in control though and your alternate won’t know you are along for a ride. They won’t sense you or be able to hear you. I will be able to though, just call out to me and I will answer. If you want to stop, I will pull you back.” Discord said, making Sunset nervous. Sure she knew Twilight had said that the embodiment of chaos had changed, but what does he get out of this? “My dear friend Fluttershy heard from Twilight the trouble you are having here and asked me to come check up on you since they are in the middle of the crisis of the week. Though if things don’t change here soon, be ready for Princess Sparkle Bottom to come flying through the mirror to help you.” Discord explained. “Okay, let’s say I agree to this, how long will mind hopping take?” Sunset asked. “Well, that all depends on you. You will be able to fast forward and rewind, plus it depends on when you want to stop. You can experience quiet a few within a few minutes, or many throughout the night. Either way, morning is as long as it will last because I will have to return to Equestria then.” Discord said. “I’m still not sure how this is supposed to help me, but I suppose I at least have a warm place for the night. Go ahead.” Sunset said, regretting her choice when Discord smirked and a flash of light made everything white only to blink and see the iron gates of the biggest school she had ever seen sitting in front of her. ‘What did I get myself into?’ Sunset wondered as she felt her body move on its own and walk towards the large gates. > Night Falls > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sunset stumbled away from the school, her body covered in dirt and bruises from not only the magical beat down from Princess Twilight friggin Sparkle and her friends, but from the work she was forced to do after destroying the front of the school to help clean up some of the mess. Okay, so yeah she deserved it, but couldn’t they at least let her go check on her injuries as she was sure she was bleeding from her back from where her wings and tail sprouted. Funny thing that she seemed to be in pain from that while Snips and Snails didn’t seem effected at all. “I remember this, though it wasn’t as bad as this.” Sunset said as her mind settled into place and started getting all the feedback and memories of this world’s Sunset without any of the control. “This is one of this world’s where time is out of line with your own world, Shimmy.” Discord smirked, “It’s also a much darker world here, should be fun!” “Really? A darker world and it should be fun?” Sunset asked with a roll of her eyes as she could almost literally feel the manic grin on Discord. Seeing that Discord didn’t seem like he was going to answer, Sunset relaxed her mind once again letting this world’s version of herself more or less merge for a lack of a better description that she could think of. As the two synched up, Sunset wanted to scream at her counterpart not to turn down the alley she was going down. Really, it was dark already and there were likely some of the students from the Fall Formal looking for her, and not to check up on her. Seeing a couple dark shadows block the path ahead of her, Sunset turned around to find two more large shadowed forms block her escape. She began to realize how much of a mistake this was to go this way, or anywhere that wasn’t brightly lit with traffic with what she just pulled. “What’s up Shimbitch?” One of what she knew to be boys said. She recognized them all from school, but they were ones she never really had anything to do with and couldn’t remember their names. “Why don’t you relax, we aren’t going to hurt you.” Another boy snickered, getting a little close to Sunset as she tried to back away though was stopped by a wall of flesh that grabbed her wrist making her cry out in pain and a little fear. Even before the elements did whatever they did to her, she would be a little fearful in this situation. Anyone with half a mind would. She could defend herself in a fight, but there were five larger boys here and one already had ahold of her and no matter how she squirmed she couldn’t pull free, not that the tiredness and pain coupled with soreness was doing her any favors. “Much anyways.” Another laughed, cupping her cheek and slowly caressing it. “You be a good girl and take your punishment for all the shit you put the school through and this doesn’t have to get ugly.” “Only ugly I see here is you pathetic lot.” A new voice broke through the tension in the alley getting a couple of the boys to look over at the new comer. “Hey, look boys, it’s Fluttershy. Maybe she wants a shot at you too Sunbitch!” The one holding her said as Fluttershy prowled through the alley, the boy holding her turning so Sunset could see the girl. She could tell right away there was something wrong with Fluttershy, she would never use a gait like this. She was always shy and unsure of herself, this one oozed sexiness and alpha female, confident in herself. “How about you be good little boys and momma won’t have to spank you?” Fluttershy said, a hint of seductiveness filling her voice as she rested a hand on a cocked hip, still dressed in her dress from earlier. “You know what, grab her too.” The boy holding Sunset grunted as worry filled her over what they might do to Fluttershy as she didn’t deserve being attacked by these idiots. “I warned you.” Fluttershy said in a bored tone as two of the boys leaped at her. Fluttershy backhanded one literally sending him into the wall of the building knocking him out and caught the other’s fist without a care in the world. Sunset almost felt sickened when the boy started screaming as popping noises started coming from his hand as he struggled. As Fluttershy let him go he dropped to the ground clutching his hand. “So, who wants to play next? Please do hurry, I am on a bit of a schedule.” “She’s still buffed by that magic crap!” Another boy, a bulky one though from what Sunset remembered a gamer. “No, not really, but I will give you boys one last chance. Take your friends and go, or I will go through all of you. And believe me, I will enjoy punishing you!” Fluttershy grinned, cocking her head as if trying to figure something out. “You want the demon bitch, then take her!” The one holding Sunset snarled as he shoved the girl at Fluttershy who caught her as the boys grabbed the unconscious and injured ones and fled. “Who are you? You aren’t Fluttershy.” Sunset accused as Fluttershy pinned Sunset against the alley wall. “Oh honey, I am Fluttershy, always have been. That meek, shy thing is just a mask I find amusing. Just as I felt it was amusing every time you bullied me. Every time you bullied me sent a thrill through me that I can’t even describe.” Fluttershy whispered into Sunset’s ear, licking it. “I can’t have those silly elements taking the real you from me.” “Fluttershy, your worrying me.” Sunset whimpered, trying to squirm out of the vice like grip. She was even stronger than the boy who was holding Sunset. “Oh hush, let me take care of you and I promise everything will be all better when you wake up.” Fluttershy huskily whispered as she nuzzled Sunset’s cheek with her own. “I’ve loved you for so long, wanted you for myself, and I finally got permission from my parents.” “Please, let me go.” Sunset whimpered. “Sunset, all I need is for you to say yes. I know you don’t love me yet, but do you think you can? Would you like to be by my side and have true power that belongs to you? Would you like to belong to me?” Fluttershy asked as she kissed the crook of Sunset’s neck and shoulder, sucking on it. Every fiber in both this world’s Sunset and the passenger Sunset screamed every warning they could, telling her to say no, begging her to tell the girl to go to hell. All she could do though was moan out a yes as Fluttershy’s hands began exploring Sunset’s body. “Good, please don’t jerk, it will feel so good after the initial prick.” Fluttershy whispered in triumph. “Wait? What? What prick Fluttershy? FLUTTERSHY!?” Sunset asked, crying out as two pinpricks entered her neck, a sucking feeling coming from where it happened. At first it really stung, but her entire body soon became a blazing inferno of pleasure as whatever Fluttershy was doing washed through Sunset, making the girl relax into Fluttershy’s arms as she slowly lost consciousness. > Night Falls pt 2 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- With a startled gasp Sunset shot up in bed, head whipping from one direction to another searching for whatever that thing was that was impersonating Fluttershy while the passenger Sunset was coming to herself. “How can I lose consciousness like that? I thought we were just passengers here!” The passenger Sunset squeaked out getting an amused Discord’s attention while she could feel her cheeks heating up at the memory of the feelings just before passing out. “Relax Shimmy Shim, you just got a little over excited. Nothing to be ashamed of.” Discord chuckled earning a growl from Sunset. “Sh-Shut up!” Sunset snapped out before realizing something was happening outside the body. “It’s great to see you awake my dear.” A slightly older woman said with a motherly smile before sitting down on the bed with crimson sheets. “Who are you? Where am I?” Sunset demanded, earning an even bigger smile from the woman. “For who I am, my name is Posey Shy, I am Fluttershy’s mother. My daughter has told me so much about you that I almost couldn’t wait to meet you.” Posey said as Sunset studied her. The woman had pink hair similar to Fluttershy’s own and wore a form fitting black dress with a very low v-neck showing off a generous amount of cleavage. “As to where you are, I am happy to welcome you to our clan, the House of Shy as my daughter’s intended and first childe.” “Okay, let’s look over the creepy factor of all this, how the hell can I be someone’s intended and child at the same time? That’s just wrong.” Sunset joked, trying to hide her fear over the situation. She had no idea where she was and she was still in a lot of pain from…wait, the pain was gone. It was completely gone and if Sunset was honest with herself, she felt much better than she had in years now that she thought about it. “Childe, my dead, with an e. While normally it doesn’t happen often, a born nosferatu has been known to turn the one the love into their childe. Normally it doesn’t happen because a childe can not have children. Then again, that isn’t much of a problem with you both being girls.” Posey explained with a kind tone of voice. “I know this is a lot to take in, but my daughter made a rash decision which was for the best as the process of turning reversed what that silly harmony magic did before it became permanent.” “Look, I’m flattered and all, but I don’t even know your daughter.” Sunset huffed, crossing her arms. This woman sounded crazy, but something was happening and while Sunset was angry and highly confused, she was scared to death. Scared in a way that was a first for either Sunset. “Of course you do, dear. You bullied her for a couple years.” Posey smiled as she leaned in towards Sunset to whisper in her ear. “Don’t worry, she knew you didn’t mean anything by it. Though you did manage to catch her attention as she enjoys playing the meek school girl. I know this is all new and weird, but please give my daughter a chance. I’ve never seen her this happy since she was given permission to bring you into our world.” “Please don’t put silly ideas into my friend’s head, mother.” Fluttershy said, starting Sunset as Posey grinned over at her daughter. Like mother, Sunset was dressed in a similar dress which dropped both Sunset’s jaw. This was a Fluttershy neither have seen before. Sexy and confident, not that normal Fluttershy wasn’t sexy, but the confidence this one moved and the way she moved to tease and entice made Sunset slowly lick her lips as she tried to say anything to the beauty that was before her. “Fluttershy?” Sunset asked a little unsure. Before she didn’t think this was really Fluttershy, but something in her told her it was. There was also something deep inside Sunset urging her to follow ever word from the girl before her. “I’ll leave you girls to talk, just remember the rules Fluttershy.” Posey said, her cheery demeanor turning serious for a moment. “I know, mother. Everything will be fine, I promise.” Fluttershy said, bowing her head to her mother. “What’s going on?” Sunset asked after she was left alone with Fluttershy. She instinctually knew that she was still in just as much danger yet she could feel love and concern pouring into her as Fluttershy gave her a kind of sad smile. “Believe me, this isn’t how I wanted things to go. If only the council approved my request sooner.” Fluttershy mumbled as she seemed to glide over to the bed and sit next to Sunset. “What request?” Sunset asked, still processing all of this as she climbed from the bed before realizing her clothes were gone and she was dressed in a black sheer night gown. While it didn’t show anything really, it did show the shape of her body under it making Fluttershy grin as she watched the girl. “Beautiful.” Fluttershy whispered as she watched Sunset stretch before turning red at the remark and puling a sheet around her. “Sorry, anyways I requested that I be allowed to turn you so I can bring you into our world.” “I’m already in your world.” Sunset sighed, shaking her head. Nothing was becoming clearer and it was starting to get frustrating. “Okay, let me explain it simply. I’m what you would call a vampire, though nothing from the movies really count. My entire family is nobility in the dark world which isn’t a physical place, but instead what creatures of the night call it. We have laws that we must follow and have a council we must go to in order to gain permission for practically anything that could spill the secrets of our world.” Fluttershy explained. “Wait, you turned me into a vampire!?” Sunset nearly shrieked getting a grin from Fluttershy. “I did promise you power of your own, and as a vampire you are one of the most powerful beings on this world.” Fluttershy said, “And we don’t have to worry about you betraying us since as my childe you will have an instinct to not do me harm and a compulsion to not say anything about this to anyone out of this house unless I give permission.” “So you made me a slave?” Sunset asked feeling dread and defeat fill her. “Shhhh! No! No, you are no slave.” Fluttershy cooed as she pulled Sunset into a tight hug. “The compulsion only last a few weeks at most as I teach you everything you need to know to survive. I fully intended to reveal all of this to you, but thanks to the whole affair at school with that accursed artifact you stole, I had no choice. The elements would have raped your mind and stripped anything it didn’t deem harmonious from you. Changing you before it had a chance to set in completely reversed the effect, but I guess it can’t be helped.” “Wait, so you changing me let me keep who I am?” Sunset asked shaking a little. “You are still you, but you will have new cravings and a lot more power.” Fluttershy explained leading Sunset to sit on the edge of the bed. “And what do I owe you for this?” Sunset asked, “My body?” “Oh honey, I want you more than you know. I will never force you though. Never!” Fluttershy said holding Sunset’s hands between them as they sat side by side. “If you can come to care for me you would make me very happy. If not, you are free to be with whoever. The only thing is, you are no longer mortal and will have to stay with the clan. Of course you are allowed to have human friends an go to school, but I will help you learn everything you need to know to be the best new you that you can be.” “I guess there isn’t much of a choice.” Sunset sighed. “Discord, what did she mean the elements would have raped her mind?” The passenger Sunset demanded as she focused on Discord. “Relax Sunny, this is a different reality with different rules. The elements you are aquatinted with won’t ever hurt someone’s mind or forcibly change them.” Discord said, though Sunset couldn’t help feel a little worried. “Anyways, that’s enough of this world for now. Let’s check out another.” “Wait!” Sunset tried to protest, but it was too late as the world once again turned white briefly.
