Twilight and Starlight were standing next to a cauldron filled with Liquid Rainbow, the two had a large Book floating overhead.

"It's time to do the final potion in the book, Ready Twilight?"

"I'm ready, OK, Add a dash of Cloud" Twilight read as Starlight emptied a jar of cloud into the rainbow "7 Crystal Berries" Starlight levitated the 7 Berries and dropped them in all at once "a quarter cup of Sugar and Syrup" Twilight added the Syrup while Starlight did the Sugar "dip a lit Candelabra in flame first then melt with magic " Starlight did just that. "2 Roses in the melted wax" Starlight placed the two roses in the small bit of white that was on in the Rainbow "Stir with an Alicorn Feather, OW" Twilight rubbed her wing as Starlight sired the feather in for a second, the entire liquid content started swirling on its own, Starlight tossed the feather and the two watched as the liquid swirled and waited until it stopped "And Finally condense."

The Two lit their horn's and Started condensing the liquid, after a minute they poured the liquid in a glass potion bottle, the Rainbow was glowing brightly, They placed it at the top of a rack of potions.

"We did it!" Starlight cheered as she spun the rack "all One thousand and one Potion's created and labeled for emergency use!"

"We are prepared for anything!" Twilight said happily, as she watched the rack spin, Starlight stood back and watched the potion's for a second, until the one they had just made flew off and out an open window

"Shit" Starlight said, "I thought you fixed that?"

"I Forgot to Magnetize the fucking bottle, Dammit!" Twilight sighed "whelp, let's make another one."

"Were out of Crystal berries"

"Celestia dammit"

Meanwhile

The bottle flew out the window and hit the ground, Luckily all of Twilight's bottle's came pre-bought to be shatterproof, so instead it just bounced, it bounced all the way down the hill till it landed at the hooves of a Sale's pony who picked it

"Liquid rainbow, Hot damn, I can sell this for a pretty penny." And he did, to the first Pegasus who came to his stall, Rainbow Dash. who smiled at the drink

"Now I won't owe Spitfire anything," She said happily as she put the bottle in her satchel and flew to Wonderbolt academe. Spitfire was in her office, looking through that week's training Scheduled when Dash opened the door and tossed her the drink "Were even now" She said and left. Spitfire looked at the Drink

"Nice, I'll drink you later," she said as she put it in her Backpack. She stood up and Pressed the intercom. "All Wonderbolt's report to the runway, we have special training in the Crystal Empire today, A groan could be heard all throughout the building "Don't worry, we're taking the train there, report to get your ticket, or you will have to fly, Spitfire out" she grabbed her bag and left her office.

Back at the Castle

"Why do I have to do this again?" Spike asked Twilight as told him his task for the day

"Because you're famous in the Crystal Empire, so you get a hero's discount."

"No, I meant why would you ask me to get 7 berries, only to come back 10 minutes later and ask me to get exactly 7 more berries?"

"Fine, get me 35 Berries, that should give us enough for 5 attempts just in case something goes wrong." Spike sighed

"Fine, I'll get your dam berries." Spike said as he pocketed a couple dozen bits and walked out the door, making his way down to the train station. only to be met with a huge crowd as the Wonderbolt's got on board, he made his way to the front and got the attention of the Conductor who smiled at him and raised his Megaphone.

"please stand back, Spike the Dragon is also boarding" This allowed Spike enough room to get to where The Wonderbolt's where, and next To Rainbow Dash

"Sup?"

"Something stupid"

"So Twilight related I'm guessing?" Rainbow and Spike got on board, Rainbow Dash handed the conductor her Ticket, and Spike just waved at him as he got on, Spike was Well known to the Train's crew, he had spent the last 8 week's going and getting thing's for Twilight and Starlight's potions.

"I told you she was gonna need more than 7." The Conductor said

"I know, I know, what do I owe ya?"

"An Autograph from a Wonderbolt would be cool."

"Alright," Spike said as he got on board the Wonderbolt filled train.

"Afternoon Spike" Spitfire said as he sat across from him "How you been Since the games?"

"Oh yeah, The Ice cloud thing...pretty good. You?"

"Can't complain, You been getting the letters?"

"Yeah, and as much as I'd love to help you guy's, I don't have wings."

"When you do, contact us, adding a Fire breathing dragon to the team could help us, and I can add an Ice Cloud to the training course if your there to melt it if thing's go wrong." Spike smiled at that

"Sounds like a plan." he said as he took up two seat's to take a nap for the Journey, Spitfire Rooted around in her bag as the train started moving and pulled out the Drink, She popped the lid, and Took a Swig."

"I must be drinking too much of this stuff," She said, "It's starting to taste was too sweet, Hey Spike yo..." She looked up at Spike and stopped, He looked the same, but different, his face, his body, his....other parts, all seem to be glowing with radiance, he looked like everything she had ever wanted in life, a goofy smile spread across her face and she giggled. She rested her head on her arm's and just started at the now sleeping Spike, what she was thinking...was super inappropriate. suddenly she felt somepony poke her head and she turned and looked up at Rainbow Dash who was smiling

"I Saw that, Never thought you'd go all gooey for somepony like Spike" Dash smiled "I won't tell any pony." She lowed her self and turned to Soarin "but you didn't promise her anything did you Soarin" He smiled and left to go slowly spread the rumor across the Train. Spitfire meanwhile had chugged down the last of her Drink and laid down, Staring at Spike for the rest of the Train ride.
> An Unexpected Date

Spike woke up when the train stopped, luckily for Spitfire, he had turned in his sleep to the point that he was facing the seat, she had managed to swipe one of his scales of his back, there was no way of noticing it was gone, and she bagged it, Spike got up and she positioned herself so it looked like she was looking out the window, she got up
"Alright Wonderbolt's let's go, We'll be practicing basic flight techniques in the snow, she turned to the Conductor, who smiled and waved, she reached into her bag and pulled out a head shot of herself with her autograph, "And this should make you and Spike even"
"Thank's Spitfire" Spike said as he walked past the star eye'd conductor. "I was afraid I'd have to do something stupid for that." There was silence for a second "What do you want?" 
"Nothing like Snow and Fire for a Work out." Spitfire said, Spike sighed
"Alright, since where on the ground, but After I get 35 berries."
"35 Berries?"
"Looong Story." Spike sighed as he got off the Train, Just wait for me before leaving the Protective barrier."
"Better Idea" Spitfire turned to her team "Eveypony Go outside the barrier and start setting thing's up, and remember to take 5 minutes breaks every 10 minutes so you don't freeze, I'm gonna go with Spike and make sure he come's back." Spike sighed.
"Fine, let's go Captain." Spike called. Spitfire had a huge grin on her face as she followed after him.
"Oh yeah, she dig's him" Dash said while the other Wonderbolt's started giggling and whispering amongst themselves. Spike and Spitfire made their way towards the Center of the empire where Spike could buy his berries, Spitfire looked around at the many Crystal Ponies who stopped them and asked for Autograph's, and at several point's some Crystal mare's tried to score a date, to no avail, after the third one Spitfire brought it up.
"She seemed nice, why'd you say no?"
"I don't date ponies I've just meet, give it a week or two." Spike replied simply as he made his way towards the crowded stalls. Spitfire looked around then grabbed Spike's arm.
"Wanna go get something to eat?"
"I sorry What?"	
"It was a long train ride, and it'll take at least 20 minutes....40 minutes to set thing's up."
"you just changed the time."
"you really think without me yelling at them they're gonna do it in a hurry?"
"Well.....I am a little hungry.."
"Then It's a Date, let's go!" Spitfire dragged him to the closest restaurant that she could find. Spike after a moment, managed to match her pace,
"I just said I don't Da.."
"You've known me a while."
"We've only talked like 3 times"
"You still owe me for the Photo thing."
"I thought I was...."
"My Autograph is worth a lot, I'd say you owe me a few more thing's after this and the Training."
"Celestia dammit" Spike sighed as Spitfire dragged him into the Restaurant, The Server was talking to one of her coworker's. but once she and her friend saw the Captain of the Wonderbolts holding hand's with The Great Spike, They made an odd sound and her friend ran off while the server smiled 
"Welcome, Table for two, We have a special table on the top floor if you want?'	
"That wo...." Spike started But Spitfire cut in.
"We'd love it" She and Spike followed the server up a flight of stairs, and just had time to sit down before the sound of camera's went of, Spike and Spitfire looked over and saw the server's friend had brought some of the staff to take pictures. Spike looked down at them and sighed, During this moment Spitfire leaned across the table and smile at Spike.
"See isn't this nice."
"I think your sending the wrong message" Spike said as the sound of Camera's seemed to get louder. Spitfire smiled and said
"Do me a solid and smile?" Spike sighed.
"I hate owing others." Spike took a deep breath and gave what looked like a sincere smile to the Cameras as Spitfire did the same, they did this for a few minutes until the manager came out and told his crew off for patronizing the Customers and the two got their menu's, they looked over it for a minute before they ordered. Spitfire had a Hay-burger with French-Fries and a Milkshake. Spike ordered a Basket of Crystal's and a Crystal Shake. Once the two handed in their menu's they started at each other in awkward silence.
"So Spitfire, what was it you wanted me to do while you guy's trained?" Spike asked, Spitfire seemed to busy staring at him to notice his question. "Spitfire?" She licked her lips "HEY!" She shook her head
"Sorry what?"
"What was with the lip licking?"	
"I...um...haven't eaten today, really hungry." Spitfire Said hurriedly. Rubbing her stomach. Spike looked at her for a moment
"Alright, so what did you want me to do while you guy's trained?"
"Oh, I wanted you to Shot Fireball's in the air at us while we train, It'll help test the Anti-Flammable material we use in our new uniforms."
"Alright, I can get behind safety testing new equipment." Spike said as the server brought them their drinks.
"You can eat the cup if you like Mrs.Spike" The Server said kindly before giving an awkward cough "Can I get an Autograph?" Spike and Spitfire asked in unison
"Witch one of us?"
"Both please." She said, Handing them a Picture of the two of them at the table smiling at the camera
"You got that developed fast" Spike said as he took a pen he was offered and wrote his name over Spitfire, Spitfire wrote her name over Spike and the two handed her the photo back and she left with what looked like tears in her eye's hugging the photo. Spike took a sip of his drink when Spitfire said
"You owe me for that" 
"Celestia Dammit!" Spike face-palmed "I keep falling for that!" 
"I don't give out Auto Graph's often" She shrugged "look's like you owe me another date later. Spike grumbled 
"Fine, One mo..."
"Two more, There worth a lot."
"...Two more Dates, then this is done." Spike told her as the Sever came back with their food. Spike was given permission to eat his bowl and proceeded to dump the contents of his cup into it and ate everything in under a minute. Spitfire took two bites and asked for the rest to go
"I thought you were hungry?"
"I had a Big Breakfast."
"Wait, but you said..." Spike stated, but stopped once he got the check, before he could even look at it Spitfire took it looked at it, scoffed and Handed the server her card.
"And with that, it is now Three dates you owe me" Spitfire said happily as the Server left with the Card.  Spike hit his face on the table
"Luna fuck stop that!!"
"You should have been faster." Spitfire said as the server returned with the card. The two got up and left the restaurant, once they left the Server looked at her picture.
"I can finally go to college!" She said with tears in her eye's as looked at the nearly priceless autograph's she had in her hands.
Spike and Spitfire walked to the marketplace, Spitfire holding his hand tightly
"You don't have to do that, I'm not gonna run away."
"I've never been here before" She said "I don't want to get lost" Spike didn't believe that for a second
"Wasn't there A Wonderbolt show here last month?"
"I was sick" Spike rolled his eye's and walked to the seller who had sold him the berries last time, the clerk looked at him for a second then shook his head
"Told you ya needed more than 7"
"I've been told that enough today." Spike replied bluntly as he placed the bit on the counter "35 please." The clerk moved around for a moment before he produced a total of 3 bags of Berries, The clerk took his money and Spike just blasted the berries with fire, teleporting them to Twilight. Spike looked at Spitfire "Your crushing my hand."
"your a dragon you'll live." Spitfire said as she dragged him back the way they had come, by now most of the Crystal ponies had noticed them together and had started pointing them out to other's, once some had noticed, all of them noticed, suddenly the two where swarmed with fan's.
"Spitfire I love you" A mare screamed
"Spike sign my face" A colt pleaded  holding a marker, Spike did so and the guy fainted
"That was a little much, even for me" Spike said as the crowd closed in, then the cameras started going off, Spike suddenly started getting dragged off by Spitfire, 
"You can't just sigh everything Spike, It losses it's value, both literally and emotionally. make's ponies feel special if they get an autograph from some pony who almost never signs anything." 
"Um...OK?" Spike replied when she let go of his hand and grabbed him by the back. "Wait a second, Don't you dare take flight while holding MEEeeee..." Spike's demand was lost when Spitfire flew into the air with him. once they where out of sigh the mob started talking amongst themselves. 
"Do you think they where on a date?"
"I wonder how long they've been together"
"He signed my face!"
"maybe they're just friends."
"Oh, but that's not a fun rumor to spread."

In the air

"Isn't this fun?" Spitfire asked
"I was trying to ask you not to fly off holding me this way, it hurt's my shoulders."
"alright" Spike suddenly felt her let go, and started to plummet, he sighed
"I need a nap" he decided when Spitfire caught him in a piggyback fashion
"better?"
"Much....hey whats up with your wings? there....um....extremely strait?" upon hearing this Spitfire's face turned red, not that Spike could notice from where he was, she could feel a lot of Spike's body through her uniform, and she had unwilling gotten a Wing-Boner.
"It's....a Pegasus thing." She said as she lowered down to the outskirts of town. "um..." She walked behind a Tree "Give me a minute." She looked around, and after confirming nopony else was looking, took of the top of the uniform and forced her wings into it, after zipping it back on, she threw her backpack on her back the hide the odd hump they made against the back of her uniform, she walked out, Spike now seeing her red face.
"I'm guessing it was....a personal matter?" Spike coughed "Guess where walking." The two turned and made their way to the other Wonderbolts. Who were, true to Spitfire's words, only just now rushing about to unload thing's now that She was there. after another 10 minutes of Spitfire yelling at how lazy they all where, the course was set, Spitfire turned to Spike and lead him to a Wonderbolt Trailer, after rutting threw it for a minute, she pulled out a suit that looked like him.
"Um....when the hell was this made?"
"After the Ice cloud, I told you, once you get your wing's your set to join us, even if your a little slow, you'll sure to impress and protect." Spike sighed.
"Alright" Spike looked at her "Little privacy?" 
"Of course." She said as she closed the door, and immediately peeked in on him changing through a peek-hole in the door of the trailer, She started drooling rainbow's again, and stood their until he yelled
"You can come in now." She came in after wiping the drool and looked at him pretending she hadn't already seen him in the outfit.
"you look good, now come on, let's see if anypony had actually been practicing their evasive maneuvers like I assigned them last week" She and Spike walked out to a stage that had been set up for watching practice, the Wandercolt's where all lined up ready for orders. The Obstacle course was basically swinging projectiles that where painful, but not deadly. a storm cloud had been bought and was being used to dodge lighting, the entire course was filled with ring's to be flown threw. Spitfire got onto the podium while Spike leaned against the stand out of sight, looking around in the goggles,
"Niffty" he said as Spitfire cleared her throat
"So has everypony been practicing their Evasive maneuvers" a loud Yes rang out. Spitfire looked at the obstacle course
"Think you can handle a change in weather?"
"I don't mean any disrespect" Rainbow dash called out "But adding some snow isn't gonna make the obstacle course any harder, just colder" Rainbow looked up at Spitfire, knowing that once some pony said that, she would make it harder in some way.
"I was hoping somepony would say that" Spitfire turned "Spike." Spike walked up the stage to the rest of the groups surprise.
"Nice suit Spike" Thunderlane called out with a wave of snorts "But the suit isn't gonna help you fly." Spitfire pointed at the ring's
"Spike if you please" Getting the idea Spike took a deep breath and Set all the ring's on fire."
"How's that Rainbow?" Spitfire asked.
"Ehh...it's a little challenging."
"Then one more addition." she put her hand on Spike's shoulder and said loud and clear
"Spike, Blast anypony out of the air who's wearing a Wonderbolt suit." Rainbow dash and the rest of the Group raised their ear's at that.
"Oh....this is actually gonna be fun" Rainbow Dash said happily, Spike smiled and saluted
"Yes ma'am"
> Wonderbolt Training

Spike positioned himself in the starting position and Spitfire called Thunderlane to go first. Thunderlane looked down at Spike and took a deep breath
"Just fly faster than he runs. He can't keep up with me" Thunderlane opened his wing's and blasted off once Spitfire blew her whistle. He Looked back at Spike who stayed where he was
"Sorry Spike, but you've got to get up pre..." Thunderlane got the wind knocked out of him buy one of the Swinging projectiles. Thunderlane managed to correct himself before he hit the ground and turned to get back on track, just as Spike crawled under him and blasted a jet of fire right at his chest
"Ahh!!" Thunderlane panicked at the fire, and ended up getting hit by the same projectile and hit the ground, A Helper sprayed him down with a Fire Extinguisher. After he got back up Spitfire called out
"This is a challenge for evasion, Not Speed Thunderlane" Spitfire called out Fleetfoot to go next. She flew over Thunderlane and looked at Spike who waved
"That was fun," Spike said "Try not to break anything" Fleetfoot looked back up and opened her wings, she flew off fast, but much slower than Thunderlane, She dogged the Projectile, and Flipped in the air once she heard Spike spit his fire. She dogged the second projectile and proceed to avoided both Spike and The Projectiles. then she got to the Ring's and the Thunderstorm, several helpers were on the cloud and started bouncing to get the lighting to strike. The first bolt went for Fleetfoot, but took a sharp angle and went for Spike.
"Whoa!!" Spike yelled as he rolled out of the way. leaving a scorch mark on the ground next to him Spitfire blew her whistle before more lighting could strike.
"What was that?" Fleetfoot asked looking at Spike, who tapped his head with a loud click.
"Dragon's are great conductors of Electricity," he replied
"Then you're restricted from this area," Spitfire said, "Don't want to get you fried."
"What about me?" Fleetfoot asked
"You're a Pegasus, it would take a lot of lighting to kill you, and one strike will get you knocked out." Fleetfoot continued her challenge while Spike sat next to Spitfire who was watching the cloud closely. Dash walked next to Spike
"What took you two so long?" she asked the two
"Stuff," Spike said
"Lunch" Spitfire said, Dash snorted
"You two went on a lunch date?"
"And a Dinner date after this" Spitfire said, Dash looked down to Spike who shrugged
"I owe her." Dash started laughing
"You two have fun, try not to get to intimate until the third date" she laughed Spitfire looked at Spike
"Third date hu?"
"Don't even think about it" Spike warned, Spitfire looked back at Fleetfoot and blew her whistle when Fleetfoot hit a flaming ring and her arm caught on fire. Once she was extinguished Spike moved back to the beginning. as Blaze took her place at the starting line, Blaze took off with Spike following soon after. Blaze dogged the Projectile and Did a flip to get out of Spike's flame, and barely missed the projectile again as she moved forward once more. Spike took a deep breath and fired rapid fire flames at her, She dogged all of them, one clipped her right leg and left a little smoke, but she kept going, Spike slid to a stop once she got to the Electrical storm and ran back to the start, Blaze dogged lighting as she flew the flaming hoops. She dogged another projectile and flew through the hoop, dogging some more lighting, when she started going off course
"Goggles, fogging up a little" She complained as she wiped them and turned back, narrowly missing another lighting bolt and flying through the last hoop, and with that Blaze was the first to complete the course. "Yes!" She cheered as Spitfire blew her whistle to let the helper's know to stop jumping on the cloud. Blaze made her way to Spitfire "You see how awesome that was?" Spitfire looked at her
"You get a 9 out of 10."
"What?" Spitfire pointed out her pant's leg. 
"You failed to Doge the ground threat, tho you did dodge him better than Thunderlane, and you completed the course with flying color's." Blaze shrugged 
"Like anyone will beat that." she said smugly.
"I doubt it," Spike called Spitfire seizing her moment called out.
"I bet you somepony will"
"You're on!" Spike called automatically then froze "WHY DO I KEEP MAKING BET'S!!"	
"I don't know" Spitfire laughed "you've done nothing but loses all day" Spike sighed.
"I need professional help" He looked up as Surprise took her mark and took off, Spike ran after her and Shot streams of Fire at her, she dodged it and dogged the Projectile and flew through the first ring, unfortunately for both her and Spike, she failed to dodge the first bolt of lightning, it hit her and arched for Spike, who failed to stop in time. Spike, stunned, lost his footing but not his momentum face planted, making a trench with his face, Surprise dropped out of the air and the two hit each other and rolled a few feet before the two finally stopped. The rest of the team ran forward to make sure they were OK. Dash and Blaze helped Surprise to her feet. Spitfire and Thunderlane helped Spike. Surprise had a twisted wing, and Spike had lost a tooth to the ground. Spike licked the gap.
"That sucks."
"Make's you look sexy" Spitfire replied Thunderlane almost dropped Spike.
"Whoa, don't flirt around me, it's weird," he Complained as he Helped Load Spike on a Stretch next to Surprise, the two were taken to a Medic tent that had been set up earlier.
"Alright" Spitfire called "We're taking a break, everypony go get some lunch, and be back in 1 hour tops." With that Spitfire walked to the tent,  the Rest of the Wonderbolts went to grab food from the Empire. Spitfire check on Surprise, luckily nothing was broken, just sprain. "once we get home, I grant you 2 week's paid medical leave."
"Yes!" Surprise cheered as Spitfire turned to another curtained off area where Spike was, the Medic left just as she entered, on his way to brew a tooth mending potion for Spike. Spike looked at her as she walked in.
"You know, I don't remember you being quite so...into me last time we meet,"  Spike said
"I'm good at acting."
"Like at the Restaurant when you were licking your lip's cause you where hungry?" Spike asked Spitfire gave an awkward cough. 
"I don't know what you're talking about." Spike rolled his eye's and asked a Question he felt she would at least answer.
"So if I lose this bet, do I have to go on two more dates?"
"Two dates...or one Kiss," Spitfire said happily. Spike looked like he'd been struck by lighting again.
"Two dates it is!" He said, Spitfire smiled
"I'll get one out of you soon enough," she said as she took a seat next to Spike. before Spike could react, Spitfire Grabbed him and pulled him so close their muzzles where touching.
"Now seem's soon enough," she said. Before Spike could protest Spitfire planted her lip's on his, after a second, her Tongue broke through his lip's and wrapped around his, Spitfire hugged into Spike, who was too shocked to pull away, Spitfire moaned, and felt something hard against her leg, but before anything else could happen Rainbow Dash walked in.
"Hey, I just wan...!" She said, but once she saw what the two were doing her face turned red "Oh crap, Sorry for interrupting!" She backed up immediately. Spitfire inwardly sighed and left Spike's embrace, Spike was still in shock, Spitfire smiled, but before she could say anything the Medic walked back in.
"Ma'am, Can I have your Drake-Friend for a moment, Need to fix the tooth." Spike was still speechless, as Spitfire got up.
"See you later hot stuff" She whispered before turning and leaving Spike finally managed to pull himself together and spat out some Rainbow saliva that was way too sweet to swallow.
"I'm counting that as one of the two things's I owed you" 
"Open your mouth please?" The Medic asked Spike obliged and the medic applied the potion to the bit of tooth that was still in Spike's mouth after a second Spike's tooth was back and Spike was given permission to leave. Spike stood up and left the Tent apologizing to Surprise, who thanked him for the medical leave. Spike exited the tent and was greeted by a still red-faced Rainbow Dash and Thunderlane, who on the ground laughing.
"Good job" she cheered "how long has this relationship been brewing? cause you two have been hiding it well. Also...sorry for interrupting your tender moment."
"I.." Spike started but was cut off by Thunderlane
"Should have figured something was up when she gave you a suit, Welcome to The Wonderbolts Spike." with that the two left to tell the rest of the team.
"Celestia dammit." Spike sighed as Spitfire walked over to his and Pinned something to his chest. Spike looked at it. "Ground leader?"
"To help with landing practice, land-based combat, and any other thing's once I think of it." She said as she threw her arm around Spike's neck. "Your mine, just accept it and love it," She said as she Dragged Spike back with her to the Eating area. once the two arrived there was silence before Spirfire called "Spike is now Ground leader." She called out.
"Bout time we got a new one" Misty fly called out. there was silence before Thunderlane called out
"How long have you two been dating?" Spitfire answered that before Spike could
"None of your business, now who's ready to get back out?" 
"WE ARE!" The Wonderbolt's called out as they filled out, all welcoming Spike to the team. Spike sighed as the last ones left
"I never accepted this" Spitfire smiled and patted his back
"It's this or spending the rest of your life doing a bunch of stuff for an Alicorn that's too lazy to teleport and get stuff in less than a minute." Spike looked at her
"True."	
"Also this is a paying job."
"And just like that, I can live with this." Spike decided as he left to join the rest of the Wonderbolts. Spitfire followed after and got back up on the podium. after several more Wonderbolt's failed to complete the Task it Was only Rainbow Dash left.
Spike was apologizing to Soarin for Blasting him out of the air before the first ring
"I guess I was counting to fast," he said
"It's all good, at least I know you're good at you job, Welcome to the team Spike," Soarin said as he brushed the extinguished stuff off his chest and left to join the rest of the Wonderbolts. Spike looked up at Rainbow Dash who looked down at him.
"I'm gonna have to take you down, sorry" Spike called.
"Why did you agree to do something kinky if you lose" 
"You hush," Spike called back as he took his mark, Rainbow took off and Spike followed soon after, Rainbow dogged the projectile and flew through the first ring easily, When Spike Blasted a column of fire at her Rainbow did a loop to avoid it, Spike Started to lag behind, suddenly Spike seemed to trip, only to Curl up into a ball and started rolling at top speed towards Rainbow
"Nice" Rainbow called "Since when can you do that?" Spike jumped up and uncurled spinning and sending a swirling column of flames after Rainbow, Rainbow moved out of its way, only for it to swerve back at her, Rainbow dogged once again and flew to the next ring, where Spike was supposed to stop, Spike, however, showed no sign's of stopping
"Must be some kinky shit indeed" Rainbow decided as she dogged the lighting, It started swerving towards Spike, who increased his speed so he was under Rainbow "Nice" Rainbow called out once she figured out what his plan was. The lighting stayed on Spike, but due to his positioning, It was also Swerving towards Rainbow, She Was about to hit the last ring, When Spike uncurled and flung forward the lighting struck the ring and it filled with electricity, Rainbow flew through it and hit the ground, she rolled to a stop as Spike slid to a stop next to her and coughed up smoke.
"I learned that from Ember," he said answering her previous question. "All dragon's can do it for defense and speed."  They helped each other out and Spitfire yelled out
"Rainbow dash get's a 9 out of 10"
"YES!" Spike cheered then tried for a straight face "Sorry for you lose." Rainbow laughed
"No your not, what the hell did you promise?"  Before Spike could answer Spirfire handed her while to Blaze and Stretched.
"My turn" Spike looked at Rainbow Dash who was trying not to laugh at his face
"It's OK, I Cheered, you can laugh" with that Dash hit the ground and laughed.
"Now she know's all your tricks. You're never gonna beat her!" Dash stayed there and was dragged back by Soaring and Blaze. Spike made his way back to the start and looked up at Spitfire, who smiled down at him.
"I'm so gonna win," She said
"Only if you keep up!" Spike called back, Spitfire took off and Spike fired trying to shot her out of the air, he looked up at her, remembered the kissing, and his face turned bright red and he missed in every way, he even failed to Roll into a ball right and lost his momentum, he landed on his face and watched as Spitfire flew the course scoring a perfect 10. Dash landed next to Spike smiling
"Look who couldn't hit his Mare-friend, At least this proves you 100% a good guy" Dash helped him up looked over and moved to the left "Have fun!" Dash called Spike looked over and got Tackled by the rest of the Wonderbolts. Spike ended up being picked up and they started cheering his name.
"Um...what's going on?" Spike asked as Spitfire flew overhead
"There just welcoming you to the team, Spitfire got her whistle back from Blaze and blew into it, Alright let's get this stuff cleaned up." Spike was set down and Dash gave him a slap on the back
"Let's go, big guy, you can help me load stuff back onto the train. Spike walked over and looked back at Spitfire, who winked at him. Spike sighed
"It's gonna be a long ride home." he ran after Dash to help load the gear back onto the train.

Spike and Rainbow Dash looked into the neatly packed train car. Rainbow slapped Spike on the back
"That was easy, wasn't it?"
"I did almost all the work, all you did was hold open the door."
"And because of that, you didn't have to put anything down." Rainbow looked at Spike's and gave an awkward cough, "So...about that um...bit of romance I interrupted."
"It's..."  Spike tried to say but Rainbow cut him off
"Don't interrupt me, I'm gonna help make up for it, now I ain't mushy in any way, But Fleetfoot and Soarin are both hopeless romantics. So I'm having them make a special dinner for you and Spitfire." Spike was about to object, then remembered he now owed Spitfire a total of three dates. he scratched his chin for a second then looked up
"Continue." Rainbow Dash smiled
"Alright, let's fix what I interrupted." Rainbow Grabbed Spike under his arms and flew into the air.
"YOU KNOW I HATE THIS!!" Spike yelled, but Rainbow ignored it. She flew to the end of the train and Dropped Spike directly next to Fleetfoot and Soarin Who grabbed Spike by his underarm's as well. They dragged him into the caboose and showed Spike what they had set up. Spike's jaw dropped, it was a romantic dinner with a candelabra. 
"Why the hell was all this on a train?" Spike asked. Sorin and Fleetfoot looked at each other.
"We got it from the Crystal Empire."
"How much was it?"
"We got it for free once we told them it was for you and Spitfire." Spike looked at them, His goggled hide the look of irritation on his face, Tho they got a message from it.
"We know, you don't like taking charity, Rainbow told us about that but were not you, so we used your name in vain," Fleetfoot said
"Sorry" Soarin added Spike pinched his nose.
"It's fine, where's Spitfire?"
"We're gonna go get her and tell her that you have a surprise for her," Fleetfoot said as the two left.
"Just wait here for a moment," Soarin added as he and Fleetfoot took to the air. The two flew to where Spitfire was checking the list to make sure everypony was accounted for. She looked at them and checked them off.
"7 still unaccounted for...no 8, Spike need's to be added to this list."
"He's waiting for you in the caboose." Fleetfoot said, "I can take the list so you can go." Spitfire's face lite up.
"OH? I love surprises!" She cheered as she made her way to the back of the train. She Walked in expecting Spike, but once she saw the dinner She looked like she was about to cry.
"A Romantic Dinner?"
"Yeah" Spike said Holding out her seat. "Your seat?" Spitfire walked over and sat down, Spike sat down to. Spike looked at his menu and after a second Spitfire asked.
"So who set this up?"
"Rainbow Dash, she felt bad for ruining our kiss."
"Well, she's forgiven, cause there's no way you're escaping without another."
"Yeah, I figured as much." Spike looked at his Menu and frowned as he looked around the empty train car.
"How exactly does this work?"
"Like this" Spitfire said as she placed her hand on the menu in three different places. Suddenly her plate had a large Hay-burger, with a Side of French Fries and a Liquid Rainbow Drink.
"Neat, I'm guessing that's your favorite meal?"
"Oh yeah!" Spitfire said as she looked down at it then up at Spike. Who after scanning the menu selected his items. He got a Hay Burger as well, A side of Onion Ring's. and A Strawberry Milkshake. Spike smiled and set down his menu
"Fancy food be damned, Let's eat some grease," Spike said as he looked up, he remembered.
"Hey what happened to your leftovers?" Spitfire opened her bag and pulled out the packed away food.
"Mid-night snack." She said happily as she dropped the food back into the bag. Spike ate one of his Onion-ring's, but Spitfire seemed to busy staring at him to eat. Spike sighed.
"OK, I get that for some reason your completely enamored in me, but even if you did eat a big breakfast, you haven't eaten in too long, Eat your food," Spike Demanded, Spitfire was too enamored with him to respond and Spike sighed. "I can't believe I'm about to do this." Spike got up and walked over to Spitfire's side of the table with his chair. "I'm only doing this so you'll eat," Spike said as he took one of her fries and put half of it in his mouth, using it like it was a Pocky stick and looked down at her. She didn't get the idea until Spike leaned forward and stuck the fry in front of her mouth. She opened her mouth and let the fry into her mouth, Spike opened his mouth and she ate the fry. Spike looked at her and got the answer to his question before he even asked it "Your not gonna eat unless I do this aren't you?"
"I am not" Spitfire replied and Spike sighed, his face red under his uniform and goggles. he got a second fry and put it in his mouth, and looked down at Spitfire who leaned forward and took it in her mouth before she could eat it, or Spike could let go of it, The flash of a Camera blinded them for a second. The two blinked for a second and turned to find Rainbow Dash with a Camera.
"That was adorable." She said as she gave an awkward look "Um...the Conductor need's you to sign off that this all goes to Wonderbolt academy....sorry." Rainbow said as Spitfire walked past her looking pissed. Spike looked at Rainbow who coughed.
"Don't you dare give anyone that picture."
"I'm selling this Picture to so many different magazines," Rainbow said bluntly before exiting. Spike sighed. and looked at his and Spitfire's food.
"At least she ate something." Spike sighed as he looked at the Fry that had landed in his lap, it still had his and Spitfire's saliva on it "Hate to let good food go to waste" he reasoned as he picked it up and noticed the end of it had what looked like  a rainbow on it "Least she drank something" he said as he grabbed another handful and ate several other fries along with the other one, they had an odd combination of salty and sweet. he swallowed it, and was about to grab some more, only for the train to lurch into motion and he fell out of his seat, and hit the floor.
"OW," Spike grumbled as he held the back of his head. He looked at the ceiling "Should have been prepared for that." Spike sighed and closed his eye's for a second, only for them to shot back open as Spitfire sat on him. Spike looked at her as she removed his goggles and the mask part of his uniform.
"Much better," She said as she took hers own off. "I prefer to look into your eye's over a reflection of myself." Spike looked into her eye's and Blinked, he couldn't quite place it but something about her seemed different, it's like she was suddenly radiant with beauty. Spike gave a goofy smile as his ear's drooped a little. but snapped back when she reached over and pulled down the rest of the fries.
"Now. Where were we?"

Cadence woke up before her Husband with a big yawn, she looked at her room for a second with her fuzzy mane and got up, the first thing she needed to do was brush her mane, She walked out of her room and Picked up the Magazine one of the guards had brought for her as per the usual. She got the bathroom and used her magic to brush her mane. once her mane was manageable, she brushed her teeth, rinsed her mouth out and looked at herself in the mirror
"better" she decided as she left the bathroom, greeted by the sight of her disheveled husband.
"Mornin," he yawned
"Bathroom's your's," She said as she opened up her magazine to page one, but before she could even begin to read Shinning saw the cover and almost tripped over himself.
"WHOA!!"  he shouted and stared at it in shock "When did that happen?" Cadence's raised an eyebrow and looked at the cover. It was a picture of Spike and Spitfire sharing their Pocky Fry. the Caption Read

 Cadence's jaw dropped 
"WHEN THE HELL DID THIS HAPPEN!" She demanded as she flipped to page 19.
"Wait, let me freshen up, I want to hear about it too!" 
"Fine, I'll get us our Breakfast." She teleported to the kitchen and turned to the chef's "breakfast please?"
"here you are ma'am," One of the Chef's said as she levitated her two Plates and two cups of coffee.
"Thank you," Cadence said as she took them, she levitated the plates and the magazine over her head and she took the coffee in her hand's and teleported to her and Shining's room, she placed Shining's food and drink on his end table and took a sip of her own as she got comfy in bed, Shining teleported into the bed, and took his breakfast.
"OK read," he said as he ate Cadence cleared her throat and began
"Yesterday at approximate 1:20 Spike ,The Hero of The Chrystal Empire, was spotted in said Crystal empire enjoying a lunch with his new Mare-Friend, Spitfire the Captain of the Wonderbolts. The waitress at the Restaurant stated that Spitfire was to busy staring at Spike to eat and left with her food untouched. Later that afternoon Spitfire announced that Spike would be joining the Wonderbolts as Ground Leader. A few witnesses to yesterday's Wonderbolt training session say that Spike was blasting them out of the air with fire. and managed to take down even the speed demon known as Rainbow Dash."
"Wow," Shining said, "How the hell did he do that?" 
"Hush!" Cadence said as she continued "during the Training session Spike was said to be sent to the Medical tent for unknown reasons with The Wonderbolt Surprise, who is now on Medical for unknown reasons. after an interview with The pre-mentioned Rainbow Dash, it was revealed that she had accidentally interrupted a rather tender moment between the two. Witch she latter fixed by setting them up for a Romantic dinner. Spike noticing that she wasn't eating apparently feed her himself, See front cover for the photo." Cadence finished as she flipped the Article closed and looked at the cover. "They look so cute together!" She said, "Why wasn't I told they were together?"
"I think they just came out with it yesterday from the sound of it" Shinning said as he took the magazine and looked through the article. he flipped back to the cover and said "He actually feed her with his mouth? wow. That's....a little weird."
"Oh hush it's adorable!" Cadence got up and lit her horn "I'm gonna go tell Celestia!!" She said as she teleported Shining lay in bed drinking his coffee. 
"I'll just stay here" he decided  as he drank



Spike was laying in bed asleep when a weight woke him, he opened his eye's and stared up at Spitfire,
"How did you get in here?" he asked, Spitfire pointed to Twilight who was looking down at Spike.
"You could have told me you were in a relationship," She said, "I could have given you tips." Spike sighed and got up yawning
"Let me guess, you're here to take me to the Academy?"
"Yup," Spitfire said as she bounced on him "Get up, we have to be there in 20 minutes." Spike looked at Twilight who smiled at him.
"I was going to make you breakfast, but Spitfire told me There's one served at the academy." Twilight turned and waved "Try not too be late on the first day" she called as she closed the door and left. Spitfire looked at the door, then turned and rubbed her muzzle again's Spikes.
"Twenty minutes is a long time, maybe you and I could..."
"No Hankey Pankey in the castle!!" Twilight called.
"Dammit, I thought she left" Spitfire sighed as she got off Spike. Spike watched as she opened the door and turned to him "Later then" She said as she closed the door, Spike's ear's drooped and rainbow dripped out of his mouth, only for him to slap himself in the face.
"knock it off Lust!" Spike growled, "I did not feel this way yesterday!"
"Oh but you do now" A voice echoed in Spike's head
"I didn't give into Greed when he tried to take over, I ain't gonna give in to you either!" Spike growled back as he put on his uniform.
"Maybe not now, but soon" Lust responded before going quietly.
"this is gonna suck" Spike sighed as he left the room, and was greeted by Spitfire.
"So first thing's first you need to drink this" Spitfire said handing Spike a bottle of Aqua Blue liquid.
"What is this?"
"It's a special potion, almost impossible to brew," Spitfire said, "I got if from Princess Twilight."
"What's in it?"
"Lot's of stuff, but after drinking it. you'll be able to walk on clouds....permanently." 	
"What?" Spike raised his voice "Why the hell were you making this?" the wall's echoed with Twilight's voice
"Starlight and Me are going for an Equestrian Record if we can brew 1001 rare potion's well get put in written history!"
"You're both already in written history, you're a Celestia dam princess and a time traveler!" Spike called back before popping the cork and Chugging the drink, he gagged and only just managed not to spit it back up, after a bit of coughing he called out "And there's no way the recipe called for that much Vinegar!" Spike threw the bottle on the ground, it bounced away. Spitfire watched it in confusion. 
"How are you two talking right now?"
"A spell Twilight cast on the castle, Yell while thinking of anypony who's in the castle and they can hear you like your in the same room, she scared the shit out of me and Starlight when she first cast it." The two walked out the front door and Spike looked up "Now how Do I get up there?" Spike felt Spitfire grab his underarms "FUUUUUUuuuck!!! Spike finished his swear just as the two landed on a cloud, Spike lay on it for a second "That hurts!!" he said.
"Well, you can't ride on my back."
"Cause you'll get a Wingbonner?"
"Yes." Spitfire said, then her face turned red "Wait, I didn't...but you..." She shook her head and cleared her throat. "I thought you didn't know what that was!?"
"I asked Twilight for a book on Pegasus Biology," Spike replied. Spitfire coughed in embarrassment and said
"Well let's go, I have to show you around the academy, so brace yourself" Spitfire flew next to the cloud and pushed it the direction of the Academy."

Spitfire and Spike flew to the academy and Spike got off the cloud. Spitfire lead Spike to her office, She sat at her desk, Much to Spike's shock a secondary desk and swivel chair had been set up for him right next to her desk. Spike took the seat and found a clipboard in front of him, Spike picked it up and looked at the list of training he was assigned to oversee.
"What in the name of Tarturus is the Dizzitron?"
"you'll see, we've got a few new training areas I had made just for the sake of giving you a job."
"Oh...wait...how?"
"Let's just say that after our first kiss, I made a few calls and pointed out how lacking we were in any sort of none areal combat, and just like that I got you your pin." Spike thought about that for a second.
"You gave me this like five minutes after that kiss"
"Wonderbolts work fast," Spitfire said as she looked over her list. Spike turned back to his, after the Dizzitron, he was to report to the newly instated Dragon fire dogging class, A wingless obstacle course, as well as a class on writing."
"Wait, why am I a literature teacher?"
"I really managed to get them on board after telling them you where a direct line to the princess herself."
"ok, but why do they need to know it?"
"A lot of our recruits are...think there the best purely because of brawn and speed, thanks to you, now they'll need a little intellect." Spike looked over his list, a lot of his afternoon would be taken up with paperwork. he sighed
"Where's this Dizzytron?" 
"ah ah ah, not so fast" Spitfire stopped him, "You and I need to get into out captains uniforms." She dragged him into a side room, and gave him the outfit, and left the room, once he had it on, he left the room and found he and Spitfire had matching uniforms. the only difference was that She had a Lighting bolt on her chest, he had a fireball.

Spitfire and Spike made their way to the Dizzytron and Spitfire gave him a quick hug. 
"Wish I could stay, but It'll have to wait until the afternoon," She flew off Spike looked at the recruits who were coming his was and sighed and he caught wind of their conversations.
"I can't believe this, who need's literature with wing's like mine?"
"Once I finish this course first try they'll see how much of a waste it is for me, I'll probably get promoted asap."
"Please, Dragon's are stupid, just throw something shiny, and then bash them in the eye, done."
"Excuse me?" Spike called out at that last comment, the recruits stopped in their tracks. there was a murmur until.
"Wow, they actually hired a wingless dragon." the one who had made the Dragon racist comment stepped forward. "Once I'm in charge, I'll make sure your cut, should only take like a week, so don't get to use to your position, and once she see's me in action I think the captain will agree, So, what'd you steal from her to get her to agree to go out with ya?"
"oh boy," Spike said "I'm gonna enjoy this" Spike took a deep breath and whistled a high pitched whistle that made all the recruits cove their ear's, and made Dragon racist fall on his ass. Spike looked down at him and said in a loud commander like voice that he definitely hadn't been practicing the night before "So, You think your the best thing since sliced bread?"
"Name's Flame sprint," the colt said, "and yeah, I really am just that good." Spike looked at him then said.
"Get back in line our I'm gonna have you throw out of her faster than Rainbow Dash can fly." The colt walked back, still looking cocky. before more could be said two helpers arrived, one gave Spike the name list and sat on the sideline in case of medical emergencies, the other took over the controls. Spike called for them to get into an orderly line and looked at the 8 new recruits he was dealing with. "This..." He had barely started when Flame sprint interrupted.
"It's the Dizzitron, it's used to make sure you can correct your self when you spin out." he smiled smugly "Not that I need to do it, I'm already pretty..."
"Oh Really?" Spike asked stopping Sprint mid-sentence "Well if it's so easy, let's add a twist." Spike heard the helper on the side stand up and walk behind the Dizitron, coming back with a cart full of wrist and ankle weights.
"Your twist sir."
"Not what I was thinking but I like it! Thank you," Spike said happily, shock that they actually had something set up for this kind of situation."You will all now be wearing the's lovely weights." Spike smiled at them "What do we say?"
"Thanks, Flame Sprint," The rest of the recruits said. Flame smiled and shrugged
"Hey, I understand the feeling, but I do this kind of thing all the time."
"Can I throw him off the cloud?" Spike asked the helper as he took the stopwatch from him, he shook his head
"He'd just fly back up." Spike sighed once more and turned back to the recruits, saying loudly.
"Ok, I've had enough of you strap up and get in." Spike watched as he flew up and got into the Dizzytron, Spike watched him for a second then yelled "GO!" Sprint let go and shot into the air, spinning, he managed to turn and land.
"oh yeah, that was probably a new record am I right?" Spike looked at the stopwatch in his hand
"that was 13 seconds"
"Yeah, I know you're impressed with my..."
"The Record is 6 seconds." Flame Sprint stopped and turned on the spot.
"Bullshit! Nopony is that fast!"
"I can think of several ponies who could have done that faster than you, wearing twice the weight."
"But I..."
"You had your shot and you failed, still it was...ok. I personally wouldn't brag about it tho." Spike turned "Next!" after a total of 3 minutes, Flame sprint was ranked at 5th in the group, he looked completely pissed.
"This is an outrage, I am the Fastest one, I.."
"SHUT IT!" Spike yelled spewing smoke from his mouth, Sprint actually flinched. "The great and almighty stopwatch has spoken, and it say's that Mellowcloud is the fastest one, coming in at 7 seconds, with the weights!" Spike looked at the white and blue mare who was glowing with pride "that, you may brag about, next time we do this, without the weights, and you may top a new house record." Spike smiled then coughed and said loudly. "But bragging aside, it's time for our ground coarse." Spike was silent for a second "I have no idea where it is." The helper walked over and whispered in his ear "I have just been informed that it is...directly below us, on the ground as it turns out. so," Spike looked up and stopped mid sentence then coughed," I'll meet you all there." Spike motioned down and the 8 flew down, once they landed Sprint scoffed.
"We'll probably be waiting here for the rest of the day, A wingless dragon, what a joke!" Mellowcloud looked up.
"I think he jumped off the cloud." they all looked up as what looked like a purple meteor fell from the sky, it hit the ground and Spike uncoiled bounced slightly and landed on his feet.
"I heard that Sprint," He said as he looked at the open-mouthed recruits. "What? I'm a dragon, we're made to swim in lava, hitting the ground is a cinch, long as I'm rolled up I can do it no problem." Spike turned to the obstacle course. "Here's your next trial and..." Spike turned at looked at Sprint Flame "If you say anything smart or do anything stupid, I'm setting the whole fucking thing on fire, and making you do it in your underwear." Spike looked at the course, it had three parts. A mud pit with hurdles a rock climb, and finally a barbwire crawl pit. "alright, everypony still have their weight on?" Spike asked. after it was confirmed Spike gave them terrible news. "Good, take them all off and clip two on each wing"
"But we won't..."
"Be able to fly? That's the idea genius" Spike said "This is a ground challenge.
"When would we ever..."
"What if you break your wing in the middle of a battle? what if you end up underground? What if you lose a wing?" Spike asked, he got his answer with silence "That's what I thought" Now everypony go to the start and wait for my signal, first one to the finish get's bragging rights." Spike waited till they where all lined up then yelled "GO!" the 8 recruits ran towards the muddy hurdles and almost immediately 2 fell behind, having failed to tuck in their wing's they almost immediately got coated in mud and brought one of them down, Spike watched as they took on the hurdles, Mellowcloud was pulling ahead fast, Flame Sprint was flipping in and out of 4th and 5th place. Mellowcloud was the first to finish the hurdles and started scaling the rock wall, meanwhile, the colt who was in 2nd tripped over his hurtle, causing a bit of a backup, after a moment, Flame Sprint was in 3rd. once he and 2nd got to the wall, Mellowcloud had started scaling down the other side. Flame Sprint looked to see if Spike was watching him, after making sure his attention was on Mellowcloud, he looked up at 2nd place and grabbed his tail, with a yelp 2nd place fell to the ground, landing on 4th and 5th place. Sprint smiled and made his way up, unaware that Spike wasn't the only one watching him. once he made it to the top he saw that Mellowcloud had started the Wire crawl. he checked Spike, and in a flash flew to the bottom of the rock wall, his weights clipped into his uniform instead of his wings, he tucked his wings in them half haphazardly and started the crawl. by the end of it all Sprint got second place. Mellowcloud walked forward and shook Spike's outreached hand
"Your good at this" Spike said
"My family's all earth ponies except for my mom, I was raised on hard work," Mellow said happily as she sat in the seat with a one on it Spike had set up. Sprint made it out second and made his way to Spike, Only for Spitfire to land next to Spike.
"So?" Spike asked, "Was anypony cheating?"
"Mister tail puller and flying down the wall was," Spitfire said as, with a tug, she reviled his weights to not be on his wings at all. Sprint stopped, his smug look melted off his face.
"wha...but"
"My Recruits decided to stay up late drinking and partying, so there currently unable to do jack shit, course once they are they get to do this course with you." Spitfire smiled and turned and smiled "I believe you said in his underwear while it's on fire?"
"Or you can just pack up and leave." Spike smiled as the true second place got there. after few minutes Sprint was sitting in the 8 seat. 
"Tomorrow at 8 am," Spitfire told him," A group of helpers will be watching you and my recruits as you do this course in your undies." Spitfire smiled then turned to the rest "as for the rest of you, I hope your good at dodging, cause Spike's proven he's good at firing. Every pony back to the academy, and line up in the reverse order you are now." The 8 recruits flew up, following a helper, and Spike got on a cloud with Spitfire pushing.
"That was a great idea, Spike," She said, "How'd you know he'd cheat?"
"Eh, it was hunch" Spike called back as the two made their way to the open air, a large group of Wonderbolts and Recruits who were not currently assigned to anything where sitting to watch Spike spit fire at his recruits. Spike walked over to the line and looked at Spitfire, who smiled and pulled out a walk-e-talk-e. 
"Bring them in," She said, and just like that several cloud hoops where made by the helpers, another came down with Wonderbolt suits.
"These are for when Spike hits you," Spitfire told the recruits. "All you have to do is avoid him for as long as you can, the trial ends when he succeeds in hitting you." Spitfire turned and pointed at Flame Sprint "last place goes first" Sprint smug face had returned as he put on the outfit
"might as well let me keep it, I'll be getting one within the week" he looked at Spitfire and winked, she shook her head
"Then prove it." She said, she blew her whistle and Sprint flew into the air, Spike took a deep breath and Spat a pillar of fire in the air. at first, it seemed easy,  until Spike started crawling under him at alarming speeds, Sprint was hit in the stomach by Spike's flame, he started screaming, then a helper burst a cloud over him and he was extinguished. Spitfire looked at her stopwatch.
"14 seconds," She said "not all that great." as the trial continued nopony else did much better. Even Mellowcloud barely held the record with a total of 17 seconds. Spike walked forward.
"You all did great, all of you who didn't cheat that is." he added with a hard look "Now go get some lunch and report to the gym, I'll be seeing you all tomorrow, and make sure your ready to wright!" with that the recruits all flew to get their respective lunches. Spitfire smiled and grabbed Spike's arm. 
"Let's go, we have a lot of paperwork to get in order before the end of the day" Spitfire suddenly smiled "I bet I can finish mine before yours."
"You on!" Spike said automatically before freezing again "Oh Celestia dammit" he sighed as Spitfire smiled at him.
"You never learn." She said, "And I love that about you!"

Spike admitted his loss as soon as he saw the differences of their respected stacks. Spitfire had a few forms to sigh and read over. Spike had a binder overfilling with legal documents, several release forms, and many other things.
"Where do you want to go?" Spike asked as he opened the binder and started reading the first paper.
"I'm thinking, home cooked meal." Spike's ears raised a little
"Sure, I can cook us some..."
"ah, not you, not I, We," Spitfire said as she read through the page and shook her head. "I'm not sighing this," She said as she oped a drawer, pulled out a stamp and stamped the page. a big red, denied, was on it.
"You have a stamp?" Spike asked as he signed his form.
"There always throwing stupid shit in with the important stuff." Spitfire and Spike continued to talk for about 5 minutes before Spitfire finished her paper work and leaned back in her chair.
"You're not gonna leave are you?"
"Yep, sorry Spike, but I'm gonna go get some gym time, see you later." Spitfire waved and left Spike to his paperwork, Spike sighed and read away when Lust echoed in his head.
"Quick follower her, I bet she look's sexy while working out!" Spike sighed
"Not now, I have paperwork to do." Spike looked at the page... "Fuck" he rubbed his temple, the only thing he could think about was Spitfire in a really wet Tank-top "I hate you" 
"Then why are you getting a Hard on right now?" Spike instantly slapped himself in the face. and took a deep breath.
"I am not thinking about Spitfire, I'm thinking about paperwork, not Spitfire, Paperwork, I'm not thinking about her, nope, not thinking about wet shirts...or no shirts...or...or..." Spike was lost in thought, rainbow drool coming out of his mouth as his ear's drooped, then the Door opened and he jumped, Rainbow Dash walked in. luckily she didn't notice that Spike had been drooling cause he had dropped to the floor immediately.
"Did I scare you?"
"No... I totally meant to hit the floor with my face." He replied as he whipped the drool off his face and got back up. "What'cha need?"
"Just came to warn you."
"About?"
"Apparently some rich snob sent his kid here, and he complained about you personally. his name's..."
"Flame Sprint?" Spike asked.
"Oh, so you know him. Well...if anything happened...I'll kick his ass for you." Rainbow waved and closed the door. Spike sighd and got back to his paperwork,
"Fuckin lust" he sighed as he read through his papers, he got through half the stack before the Rich Snob slammed the door open, Spike briefly looked up "Oh hey, you must be Flame Sprints pops." Spike looked back at what he was sighing the Rich snob frowned at Spike.
"How dare you." He said, "I am SmokeDash." apparently the stallion was expecting Spike to react to this with amazement or something. Spike just looked up
"never heard of you." Smoke gasped
"Impossible, I am one of the most important ponies in Equestria, My Grandfather was an amazingly skilled Wonderbolt, his name was SmogSpeed and..."
"Oh!" Spike said, "The colt who won first place in the Wonderbolt's annual race 6 continuous years?"
"yes." Spike looked even less impressed
"who was later exposed to have been using performance enhancers and drugging his competitors the entire time?" Smoke leaned forward.
"Listen Dragon..."
"The Name's Spike bud."
"I don't care, You may think your special, just because you somehow tricked Spitfire into hiring you, but don't think for a second that I'm going to stand here and let a lesser race denounce my family name?"
"Lesser...excuse you?'
"And stop staring into my eye's, I am your superior! the fact that you're even here is just some stupid stunt for the princess to promote Peace or something." Spike stood up when two more ponies entered the room, both unicorns, and both in black. "This is my guard, now how about you sit down and I tell you of a few mistakes you've made today." Spike was suddenly covered in a blue magical aura and forced none too gently into his chair. Smoke looked down at Spike "First, My son is the Best period, got it? Second, this Pony who beat him, She's to be ejected from this academy immediately, she's just some bumpkin, so she's obviously cheating to get to the top, and finally, you will resign your position to my son, then just maybe, Maybe! I'll let you leave here peacefully. Got it?" Spike looked up at him and placed his hands on his desk.
"your a sad little man. you know that?" Smoke snapped his fingers and Spike was suddenly unable to breathe.
"I warned you" Smoke fixed his collar a little "once's he's out, I don't care what you do, his scales should sell for a good price on the black market."  Spike's face started turning red as he started tried to take a breath, he accidentally knocked over his papers and the Intercom button while he clawed at his mouth to no avail, but before anything else could happen, Spike, was suddenly able to breathe with a loud Thunk. The Two Unicorn crumpled to the floor as Spitfire and Rainbow Dash entered the room, Spitfire was covered in sweat, and Rainbow had a black eye.
"What!?" Smoke demanded before being punched in the face by Dash.
"Dick!" She said, "Who the fuck do you think you are?" Spitfire ran over to Spike who was gasping for air.
"What happened to you?" Spitfire shook her head 
"Been a war going on outside, this rich Dick paid a bunch of mobsters to attack the Academy just after he arrived so he could do this shit without our notice, but as fate would have it, Dash here caught him punching out one of the helpers."
"But before I could do anything this fucker hit me in the face with a fucking lead pipe!" Dash said angrily, stomping the Unicorn's groin. "But it takes more than that to keep me down." Rainbow turned to Spike. "and Luckily you had a second visitor who was more than able to take out all the mobsters almost immediately."
"Who the hell..." Spike was about to ask before several Crystal guards walked in with Shining Armor.
"This is who the hell just saved your ass," Shining said, "But I have got to give you props!" he added grinning from ear to ear. "turning on the intercom and calling him a sad little man to cover up the button pressing? Genius!!" Shining hugged Spike. "If you hadn't don't that we won't have made an immediate B-line here". Shining gave him a slap on the back as Spitfire picked up the Intercom Spike had knocked to the floor and turned it off with a click. Spike sighed and looked at the paper.
"I am so going home early." Spitfire nodded as the four left the office while the guards cuffed the unicorn and Smoke.  Spike walked outside and was met with Princess Cadence who smiled at the sight of him, her mane looked frazzled.
"Oh thank Celestia," She said, then her eye's turned dangerously cold as the three unconscious criminals where pulled past her. "Witch one of them where chocking you?" Spike and Shining both felt a chill up their backs." 
"I feel like if I tell you, you'll kill him." Spike said, there was silence then he shrugged and said "but I'm gonna go with all of them" Cadence gave Spike a smile then tuned. 
"you just killed those guy's Spike," Shining said jokingly, "Less scum for us to deal with." Spike looked at the many mobsters when suddenly a loud clunk rang out and a pony fell out of a tree from behind Spike and into a bush, the four watched as Mellowcloud landed next to it and pulling an unconscious Flame Sprint behind her.
"Here you go sir," She said, "he was trying to spit this at Spike from behind the building there." She handed Shining a Spit-shooter along with a small purple Glowing rock. Shining immediately slapped the rock out of her hand and called for a medic. Mellow cloud and Shining were both immediately taken away and had their hands doused in some orange liquid while the medics quarantined the rock.
"The fuck was that?" Spike asked
"A Moonstone dipped in Nightshade and Mixed with an Either Potion," Shining said "Luckily the plant required to make Either potion are all but extinct but it seems our rich friend here might be in possession of some of the last ones, that little rock is one of the best ways to kill anything, touch it and it seeps into your skin, scales, feathers, and in 24 hours you're dead. luckily so long as it's treated within an hour or so there are no side effects, so your student and I should be fine, but if that had been shot at you without us knowing."
"Oh, my Celestia I'd have died tomorrow." Spike turned to Mellow and gave a kiss on the cheek "Thank you for enrolling here!" Spike said. Mellow's face turned red and she waved goodbye to Spike as he and Spitfire left the Academy,
"We'll come and see you after this is all sorted out" Shining called as the two left, he turned and went to go help load the mobsters into an airship.

Shining Armor looked at the Castel of Friendship and sighed.
"I'm sure they already have plans," he told Cadence as she dragged him along.
"Oh hush, I've waited long enough to hear all the juicy details about their relationship!"
"You just found out about it this morning!" Shining complained as he was dragged up the steps "Just let them have their peace." Cadence looked back at him
"You just want to go home and be lazy."
"We just spent a good hour waiting for the Cloudsdale police force to take that Rich dick and his mobsters off our hands for us, followed by two more hours searching his home and associated businesses for Ether potions and their ingredients " Shining rubbed his temple "I just want to go to bed." Cadence pulled Shining to her.
"Honey if you do this little thing for me, later i'll..." Cadence pulled Shining to her and whispered something in his ear. Shining froze for a second.
"Let's get going," He said, now Dragging Cadence, "their privacy isn't gonna invade itself." Cadence rolled her eye's 
"Always works" She smiled as she moved in front of him and knocked on the door. Starlight opened it and the two were hit with a multitude of delectable smells. 
"Oh hey," Starlight said, "Here to invoke the power of romance?"
"You better believe it," Cadence said as she and Shining walked in, 
"This way then," She said, and with that, the two followed her to the kitchen and the three watched as Spike and Spitfire along with several Wonderbolt's where working together to make a meal. Spike was using the stove and seemed to be flipping burgers. Spitfire was reading a book entitled "101 Gem recipes" and using a specially made knife to cut Several different varieties of gem, though, from the look and smell of things, this was not the only thing they where both doing. Spitfire was the first to notice them.
"OH!" She snapped her book shut and Spike jumped and turned on the spot.
"What? Wh...oh hey guys" Spike said waving at them, "We're just making some grub."
"Smells delicious" Shining said as he walked into the large Kitchen, It had everything, from a Microwave to a Deep fryer. The later of which was being operated by Soarin, laying next to him on a counter was a large pan full of French fries, Blaze was cutting several potatoes into sticks. Rainbow Dash was leaning lazily next to the Microwave. Fleetfoot was helping Spike at the stove. and Thunderlane was rooting through a Spice cabinet, Soarin waved at Shining as he removed the french fries from the Deep fryer and dumped them into a pan next to him.
"Afternoon," He said as Thunderlane gave a cry of success and ran next to him with several spices. 
"Oh man, these are gonna be the bomb once I'm done with 'em," He said as he started applying the seasoning while simultaneously flipping the fries around with a spatula. Blaze presented Soarin his next batch to fry. Spike and Fleetfoot where busy making sure the burgers where cooked threw, though Spike kept looking back at Spitfire and looking her over with a bemused expression. Spitfire had put down her book and walked to the Princess, shaking her hand.
"It's a pleasure to see you again, thank you so much for arriving at the Academy when you did" Spitfire immediately turned to Starlight.
"Did you se...?"
"Yeah, yeah" Starlight interjected "I set up the table and have the requested drinks ready. The Microwave beeped and Rainbow pulled out a cup of instant noodles.
"See you chumps as the table" She called as she walked out. Cadence watched her leave then turned back to Spitfire.
"She isn't eating with you?" she asked
"She said we were to slow," Spike called out, he gave a mighty huff "Well she ain't getting one of my burgers." He Flipped several of them and Fleetfoot removed a few and put out a few more hay blocks to replace them. next to the two was a plateof burgers, as Spike flipped Fleetfoot seasoned them and added them to the pile. Spitfire returned to her cutting board and Starlight showed Cadence and Shining to the table.
"You set a place for us?" Shining asked
"I had a feeling you'd show up." Starlight said lighting her horn and teleporting a magazine into her hand. The Cover was the Pocky-fry picture. "Your subscribed this magazine aren't you?"
"I am, But how did you..."
"I get around," Starlight said as she teleported the magazine away.

Back in the kitchen

Spike and Fleetfoot finished making the last Burger, and after making sure they were properly wrapped, they moved to help the others, Fleetfoot moved to help with the fries, and Spike Went to help Spitfire. Spitfire was chopping the last of the gems when Spike made his presence known. Spitfire smiled at him.
"I'm making a Gem salad for you," she said as she cut up the last of the Gems. "How's it looking?" Spike looked at her selection and smiled.
"Look's like an explosion of flavor in front of me" He smiled, then before either of them could react his tongue shot out and made for a gem before it got anything Spike grabbed it and shoved it in his mouth. "Sorry, reflex!" He said quickly. as he took a step back "I'm not to be trusted near gems!" he declared as he turned and ran to the sink. " After I wash my hands I'll go into the Pantry and grab the buns for the Hayburgers." as he ran off Spitfire watched and giggled.
"Oh my, I didn't know his tongue was so long...something to have fun with later" She smiled as she turned back to making the Gem salad. After about 10 minutes the table was set, and everypony was enjoying their dinner. Thunderlane and Soarin were trying to tease Rainbow with their dinner but to no effect. Starlight was striking up a friendship with Blaze and Fleetfoot. Cadence and Shining were sitting next to Spike and Spitfire, who was again to busy staring at Spike to eat. 
"So how long have you two been dating?" Cadence asked.
"We're not dating" Spike defied. Shining raised an eyebrow and held up the Magazine Starlight had given them.
"Then what's up with the picture?" 
"It was taken out of content" Spike replied, then raised his voice "THANKS RAINBOW!"
"Your welcome" She called back. Cadence gave Spike a hard look.
"You expect the Princess of love to fall for that?" She asked. Spike raised his finger in objection then stopped and leaned casually against the table,
"You gonna eat? Or are you just content to stare at me?" He asked Spitfire who jumped a little at this.
"I'm eating!" Spitfire defined, Spike looked at her untouched plate.
"You expect me to believe that?" he asked, Spitfire turned. 
"I do." She said, Spike, leaned down, Took a Fry and Put half of it in his mouth. without hesitation, Spitfire took in in her mouth and pulled it out of his mouth. while she munched on it, Cadence cleared her throat and Spike jumped. 
"Out of context hu?" She asked with a smile "Seem's you were just worried about her not eating?" Spike's face turned red.
"Not my fault she won't eat." He muttered as he put another fry in his mouth, just as Spitfire bit into it, A Camera flashed and the two jumped. Spike turned towards Rainbow, who had a guilty face.
"Come on, I got good money for that first picture." She said as she got up and bolted out of the room. Spike watched her run and looked at Cadence. Who was smiling,
"You look so cute together," she said.
"I still think it's weird" Shining muttered as he watched Spike take a bite of Spitfire's burger so she'd eat it. after a minute Spitfire finally started eating her own food. As she ate Cadence smiled and lowered her voice so only she could hear her.
"What was that about?" She asked
"It's nice to see that he cares" Spitfire replied as she ate. "And it's nice to be the center of attention, that has yet to ever fail." Cadence smiled
"I know the feeling," She said as he ate her food. as the party ate Spitfire leaned over.
"This doesn't count as our date by the way," She said, Spike looked over at her.
"I figured." he said as he ate his gem salad "But major props, this is a good salad." after a while, everypony had finished up and Had said goodbye for the night. the last ones to go where Cadence and Shining.
"It's so nice to see you finally found a special somepony" Cadence said as she hugged Spike goodbye. As she walked out the door she called out.
"I'm expecting a niece or nephew!" Spike froze and Spitfire grinned. 
"You do owe me.." She said
"I don't owe you that much!" Spike shot back as Spitfire gave him a hug goodbye.
"See you tomorrow Ground leader." She said as she closed the door. Spike sat in silence for a second. and turned to Starlight.
"They left us to clean everything by ourselves." He said Starlight sighed
"Let's go, this mess isn't gonna clean itself," the rest of their evening was spent cleaning up the dinner mess.

It had taken several hours, but Spike finally finished his stack of paperwork.
"Done!" He yelled in triumph as he placed the final page on top of a stack paper. Spike leaned back in his chair and signed. He lay back for a while when he felt a pair of hands on his shoulder, Spike looked up at Spitfire who was leaning on him.
"You seem tense, why not let me rub your shoulders?" She asked as she did so. Spike mumbled as he leaned back in the chair, slowly Spitfire rubbed, Spike started to drift off but jumped up with a laugh when she poked his side's.
"No, no, stop, that tickles!!" Spike laughed as she kept doing it.
"What, this?" She asked as she did it again, Spike started squirming, and she went a little lower, now rubbing his inner thigh, Spike stopped laughing.
"Don't even think about it." He said immediately. there was silence, then Spitfire poked his side, the moment he laughed her hand's shot down and groped him. Spike froze as he hand slipped down the front of his jeans. just then there was Knock on the door.
"Celestia Dammit," They both said in unison. Spike slapped his hand to his mouth the second he realized he'd said it out loud, and Spitfire gasped.
"You were into it!" She whispered as she removed her hand's, giving him a huge smile as she straightened up, with a cough she called out "come in." Rainbow walked in and looked around.
"I'm not interrupting another intimate moment am I?" the two responded with awkward silence. "Shit" Rainbow said, "Well, Just came to give you the all clear, there are officially no bombs or any other long-lasting weapons at or around the campus, the remaining soldiers can leave once you sign off on their legal work," Spitfire sighed and walked to the door
"Every Celestia damned time" She looked back at Spike and smiled "We will talk more about that thing later," She said as she walked past Rainbow and left. Rainbow watched her go, then turned to Spike.
"I didn't hear you guy's talking?" Spike sighed
"It was more of a...phisical thing," Spike replied as he got up and stretched, Rainbow's face turned red and she turned around. Spike looked down and saw that his top button and his zipper was down.
"Sorry!" Rainbow yelled as she bolted Spike rubbed his temple and fixed his pants.
"Welp, that's enough embarrassment for today." Spike turned around and picked up his stack of papers, with a blast of fire breath he teleported them to Twilight, as she had asked to double check to make sure he didn't sign anything stupid. He put his Quill and Ink inside his desk just as Spitfire slammed opened the door and hug tackled him.
"Alright, where were we?" She asked
"Leaving?" Spike asked Spitfire looked at him then nodded.
"Yes...I suppose it is more civil to wait until we're in the privacy of my room to continue." Spitfire grabbed Spike's hand and dragged him out the door.
"No wait, I...um...we..." Spike tried to think of something to distract her when his stomach rumbled. without skipping a beat Spitfire amended her statement.
"Your gonna go get dinner, then we're gonna fuck." She said it so bluntly Spike tripped. Once he got back to his feet, she took a deep breath "I'm so sorry." she said as she helped him up "I'm trying to move to fast, let's see how the night goes." After helping him to his feet she hugged him and nuzzled his neck. Spike sighed and hugged her back.
"ok, let's..." Spike and Spitfire froze when a Camera Flash went off.
"RAINBOW!!" The two yelled
"Money!" She called out as she booked it. Spike sighed as he offered Spitfire
"well then, as long as your no longer consumed by lust, shall we go get some dinner?"  Spitfire accepted the hand.
"No more lust...for the moment."  She smiled, "Now come on, let's get some grub," She said as she walked with him to the edge of the Academy, Spitfire flew up, grabbed a passing cloud, and after Spike was seated, pushed it in the direction of Cloudsdale. Spike leaned back in the cloud.
"This is nice," he told her as they moved "If It weren't for you I'd probably be riding the train to get some arbitrary ingredient for Twilight or be cleaning the castle alone." Spike positioned himself until him he was looking upside down at Spitfire. "That's for that," he said giving her a genuine smile "This job promises to be a lot more fun, now that the paperwork's done" Spike started leaning back up, but Spitfire grabbed the side of his head and lowered it back down to look into her eyes.
"You have beautiful eyes," she said as she looked at him, Spike looked blankly at her.
"Um...Your eyes are beautiful too." Spike replied as he attempted to get up a second time, this time her grip was stronger as she looked at him. 
"Kiss her!"Lust suddenly yelled out, making Spike jump, this combined with Spitfire's grasp cause him to slip into her Spike grabbed out and she held him steady, their snouts where touching. in a blind moment Lust took hold of Spike, without warning, he touched the back of her head and pushed it into his, the upside down kiss was  far from amazing, but Spitfire enjoyed it all the same, the moment passed and Spike realized what he was doing, quickly he withdrew, his face red, he gave an awkward cough.
"Well, that happened," Spike mumbled. suddenly with a loud squeal Spitfire stopped pushing the cloud and hugged him.
"I KNEW YOU LIKED ME BACK!" She screamed out as she crushed him in a hug. "I KNEW IT, I KNEW IT, I KNEW IT!!" Spike tried to think of a way to respond to this when he felt something wet drip against him, he looked down and saw that she was actually crying.
"WHOA, Are you ok? Your...your crying?" She ignored him and just hugged him tightly, 
"You like me back." She muttered as she held onto him. Not knowing what else to do, Spike hugged her back. The two sat there for what felt like forever. when Spike heard murmuring and camera shots. Spike looked towards the noise and his face immediately went red. A group of Pegasi had flown over and were taking pictures of the two. 
"GEAH!! Spitfire stop we're in Public!!" Spike yelped, now trying to hide "This is something we can do later in private!" Spike felt her let go and watched as she stood up and coughed in her fist.
"WHAT ARE YOU LOT LOOKING AT!?" She yelled, in a flash the paparazzi vanished. Spitfire looked pissed "Every Celestia damned time...Somepony has to come over and kill the fucking mood." Spitfire sighed then leaned down to Spike, she grabbed his chin and gave him a kiss, one that was much better than the upside down one. "I do believe you mentioned later in private?" She smiled. "Sound's good to me." Spitfire flew into the air and left Spike sitting bemused.
"Celestia dammit Lust!"
"What? You might be getting some later thanks to me! How about a thank you?" Spike sat in silence for a moment
"Thank you." Lust made an odd noise.
"I'm sorry what? Really? Holly fuck! YES!!! I've tainted you!!!" Lust gave an evil laugh and disappeared from Spike's subconscious. Spike sighed and rubbed his temple.
"Indeed you have." He thought as he looked ahead to Cloudsdale. Spike felt something else wet on his chin and whipped at it, he looked at his hand and found a Rainbow smudge. "What in the name of Tartarus? I haven't had any Rainbow Liquid today." Spike whipped it off on the cloud and looked ahead, trying but failing to think of anything that wasn't Spitfire. After a moment Spike yelled "FUCKING LUST!!" And lay back on the cloud covering his face. he lay back for a moment then was hit with the realization of what he'd just done.
"I Yelled that out loud didn't I?" he asked, his response was Spitfire sitting on top of him.
"Why yes, you did, pray tell...what are you lustful for?" She asked as she lay on top of him. Spike sighed
"Were still in public."
"We won't be in a moment," Spitfire said happily.
"What?" Spike looked up and saw they were in front of a house, It had three stories and was made from enchanted wood, enchanted to float on the clouds. Spike looked up at it for a moment. "This is your home I presume?" 
"Indeed it is," Spitfire said as she picked him up and flew him in the front door.
"Ow," Spike muttered as she flew him in, she set him on the floor and closed the door behind her, with a loud click the door locked. Spitfire threw her arm around Spike's waist and pulled him through her house.
"I'll give you a tour later. But first The most important room in the house, She dragged him to a room in the back of her home, and Spike looked at what he assumed was a pool.
"A pool?"
"Oh no, this is my bathtub," Spitfire replied. Spike realized what was going on a second too late, as with a second loud click, Spitfire locked him in the room with her.
"Wait for a second!" He complained but shut right up when he heard a zipper. Spike froze as he listened to Spitfire unzip her suit, and flinched when he heard her clothes hit the floor.
"Relax," she said as she walked to him. "I'm still wearing something." Spike slowly turned and looked at Spitfire, she was only wearing her bra and panties. Spikes face turned the darkest shade of red it had turned yet. after several seconds of silence, Spike finally spoke his mind.
"Where did those come from!?" Spike asked in absolute shock as he looked at her breast. before now they had looked like a pair of A cups, but now that he was looking at them, they were definitely a pair of D cups. Spitfire looked down with a smile and jiggled them a little for him.
"Standard issue Flight bra, to be worn over your normal bra and under your uniform, keep's the Female Wonderbolts....aerodynamic." Spitfire smiled and walked forward. "but alas, It appears I'm a little stiff, I don't suppose you'd help me unclip the back?" She smiled at Spike. 
"Deep Breaths! This is your one chance, don't fuck it up!" Lust yelled in Spike's head. Spike suddenly felt a cooling chill down his spine. "Relax, Stress isn't good for Sex" Lust said as Spike took a deep breath
"I'd be happy to help," Spike replied with a smile, Spitfire raised her hand's and Spike approached and, felt for the latch, it took a minute, but Spike finally managed to snap it off. Spike leaned back and looked at it, it took a second for his thought to catch up with his actions and his face turned red again. "Wait a second, that means.." Spike looked at Spitfire who had repositioned her hands behind her to let Spike get a good viewing experience. Spike looked in awe at her, without hesitation his hand reached out and massaged the left one, Spitfire let out a little gasp of pleasure.
"Oh, Spike...I was afraid it would take me forever to get you here" She sighed as Spike's other hand poked and pinched her right one. She sighed as Spike was lost in the moment, then without warning Spike opened his mouth and latched onto the right one, keeping up a steady rhythm with the left one. Spitfire just let it happen, rainbow drooled out of her mouth as he sucked on her, she let out another gasp when She felt his tail rubbing against her inner thigh. Spike stopped and let go.

"I'm sorry, I can put them back on if you'd like?" Spike offered.
"Don't even think about it," Spitfire said as she scanned his body. Spike didn't have abs, though she felt like that was only because of him being a dragon. The scales on his abdomen did seem to shine brighter than his other ones Spike gave an awkward cough.
"I know I'm not exactly a looker by Pony standards, but apparently I'm a solid 8 by Dragon standards."
"8? Spitfire asked as she looked him up and down.
"Apparently I'm a little...Short..." Spike said giving an awkward pause. Spitfire looked at him and raised an eyebrow.
"You think I give a fuck about how big your dick is?" Spike's face turned red.
"Its just something I was made aware of by anatomy book's Ember gave to me...just thought you should know..."Spike gave an awkward smiled "Sorry?" Spitfire got on her knees and pulled down's Spike's shorts. "Agh!" Spike yelped. Spitfire looked at his Dragonhood for a second.
"See" She smiled "your small..."
"I'm so sor..."
"...but only by Dragon standards." She interrupted "By Pony standards...I'd say you in a solid place." Spitfire reached out and gave him a squeeze, Spike squeaked as she slowly started pumping him. After a few of them she stopped and stood back up "That was for stopping just as I was getting off" She said to Spike who's looked like he'd been slapped.
"Dammit," Spike said as he looked at her, Spitfire smiled put stopped when Spike Grabbed her waist. "Guess I'll have to give you some payback then," Spike said as he rubbed the area right above her Marehood.
"Aah!" She moaned as he rubbed her "Oh, this is ama..." She was cut off by her own moan as Spike lowered his hand and started rubbing her marehood with his right hand, using the left on the relive her of her last article of clothing. She let out another moan as he rubbered her down, just as she started panting he stopped. "the...there now where eve...ah!" "I win," he called back as he sat down and leaned against the side. Spitfire lay where he had left her for a moment, then slowly fought to get back her compotier. It took a couple of minutes but Spitfire Finally pulled herself into the Bath and looked over at Spike who waved at her. She smiled at him.
"I'll get you next time tho." She said as she tossed him a bar of soap.

Spitfire was washing up when she noticed Spike's dilemma, it seemed he was unable to scrub his back, Spitfire tried to hold in her laughter as she watched him try to reach his back, he tried using his tail and only succeeded in losing the bar.
"Mother fucker" Spike grumbled as his hand's scrambled beneath the water trying to find it again. after a minute he found it and it popped out of his hands, hitting him in the face. Before it fell back into the water, Spitfire caught it with her wing.
"Need some help?" She asked, only just managing not to laugh at him.
"I usually use a Brush," Spike grumbled as he turned his back to her. after a moment he sighed "I'd love some help." even tho he was looking the other way, Spitfire got the feeling that his face was glowing red. She started by lathering up her hands and started with his shoulder scales. Slowly she washed him, Down slowly back surly making her way down, once she got to the middle of his back Spike spoke up, "Ok, I can get the rest from here" he said as she moved back, he turned to get to soap back but froze when she put her hands on his chest, She smiled at him.
"You know it's funny, Earlier you said you won...you must pretty cocky to claim victory before we've even finished," Spitfire said as she leaned into him, Spike tried to back up, but came to the unfortunate conclusion that he was still sitting down, Spitfire had repositioned herself so she was on her knee's, tho she still managed to block his view with her wings. Spike looked down at her covering up with her wings and immediately shoved his hand underwater to keep his second tail from popping out, Spitfire smile grew larger.
"Oh, what's the matter?" She asked as she put her hands under her wings and lathered up her girls, "Do you want to help me wash?" she moved her wing and hand, tho she was still covered with soap. Spike stared at her, his voice lost. "Well?" she asked. Spike found his voice.
"I've would very much love to help you wash." 
"Good" Spitfire said as she turned her back to him, "you can get my back." Spike looked like he'd been hit with a brick "And I think I'm winning now." It took Spike a second to realize what she meant and he facepalmed.
"I FEEL FOR IT! I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN!!" Spike sighed as he held out his hand. "Soap please?" Spitfire handed it to him, and it flew out of his hand's again. "Oh for the love of..." Spike muttered, Spitfire sighed and moved over to the side of the huge tube,
"This should solve the problem," she said as she moved to a faucet, after a second it started spewing something pink into the water. Spitfire moved back to Spike and faced her back to him. "just wait for a minute." She said as they watched the liquid pour into the bath, Spike watched in awe as Large bubbled filled the tub, and started floating in the air. as Spike looked around Spitfire looked back at him and laughed "This is a special shampoo, This stuff starts to dissolves the lower it gets to the ground, so I'm willing to bet you've never seen it before." it didn't take long before the bubbles fill up the bath. After a while, Spike stopped looking at the pink bubbles floating around and got back around to washing Spitfire. at first, he did as she did and started at her shoulders, but he stopped once he remembered something,
"The last time I touched her back she got a wingboner..." an evil Smile spread across Spike's face as he went back to washing her back. once Spike finished washing her back he herds her sigh.
"Alright, you can stop," Spitfire said as she looked around in disappointment
	"He didn't even try to pull anything, I guess..." Spitfire was stopped mid-thought when Spike put both his hands around the base of her left wing. slowly without a word Spike began rubbing it back and forth, slowly moving up.
"I'm sorry, Did you say something?" Spike asked as he continued cleaning.
"I...I..." Spitfire's voice failed her as Spike scrubbed her wings, he avoided the feathers and only did the top part, but he could tell this was already effective as her wings extended to their full length and stopped moving. once Spike finished the first wing he smiled
"Would you like me to do the other one?"
"Please?" Spitfire asked, shaking at the thought that he might finish their game and leave her to her own devices. But Spike seemed to have other ideas. he placed his hand in the middle of her right wing. Spitfire stiffened up as Spike slowly but surely ruffed her feathers while simultaneously rubbing his tail against her leg, she slowly started moaning as his tail slowly started getting closer to her marehood, when he suddenly stopped and moved away. Spitfire sat in horror as he said happily.
"Done," he said "Also, I do believe I am now winning" He turned back and popped some bubbles with a smile but lost it when he turned back and saw the look on her face. "Um...are you all..." Spike was inturpted when she Jumped on him
"You Win!" She said as he tackled him into the water "now let's play a new game" she said with a lick oh her lips as he eyes lowered to look at his waist.
"Um...what game are we playing?" Spike asked Nervously. Spitfire looked into his eyes
"A game you'll really like," she said as she slowly sank down, making sure to rub her girls down his chest as she did so until  she suddenly put her hands under him and lifted him up, resting him on the edge of the bath so only his feet where still in the soapy water. Spitfire grabbed her girls and squeezed them against his Dragonhood, slowly she moved them up and down rubbing him down. She looked up at him with a smile
"See? You like this?"
"Ye...yes" Spike moaned in pleaser as she slowly but surely went faster. after a minute she stopped, Spike looked down, "Is that i..." Spike shut his mouth as she opened her mouth and gave him a test lick,
"hm, you taste good, I wonder what your essence tastes like?" she said as she gave him another lick, then with a slurp, she sucked on his tip, Spike made several noises as Spitfire slowly bobbed her head back and forth, meanwhile fondling his orbs. Soon she picked up the speed and Spike squeed.
"Spitfire! I think I..." before he could finish She Did one finally movent and took all of him in her mouth and he released his load, it filled up her mouth and some dripped out, Spitfire sat still for a moment then swallowed, she licked her lips then with a smile bobbed Spikes' nose
"And with that, I Win." Spitfire turned and said jolly "And you taste delicious, like Dark Chocolate." as she waded off to go wash her mane Spike sat dumbfounded on the edge of the pool.
"Holly shit." Was all he could think to say as he sat there and watched her threw the Cloud's of Pink Bubbles.

Spike's face was still red from what had just happened, he was leaning against the side of the tub while Spitfire bathed herself, smiling at the fact that she had won. Finally accepting that, what had just happened had actually happened Spike waited into the Water
"I'd like some soap," he asked, "I need to wash up too." Spitfire offered him a bar as she began soaping up her mane and tail. Spike Began scrubbing his Spine's and the Spade of his tail.
"So...How good was I?" Spitfire asked as she scrubbed her mane
"Too good, I need a nap," Spike replied, "But there's no way I'm sleeping anywhere near you without the proper protection." Spitfire smiled and Spike's face turned red "I didn't mean it as that" Spitfire looked at him in silence before Spike added "the only way Dragons and Ponies can Interbreed is with a potion so it'd be a pointless endeavor for me to use that kind of protection anyway" Spike muttered 
"Then what kind of protection where you talking about?" Spitfire asked coyly
"I don't know" Spike responded as he grabbed his tale to properly scrub off the spade "A locked door maybe?"
"That's cute but it wouldn't stop me," Spitfire said before pinching her nose and dunking her head beneath the water, Spike immediately busied himself with scrubbing his face and not looking in her direction as she lay on her back with her hands scrubbing her mane
"How sweet" He heard her say, instantly a shiver when down his back as he felt her hand on it. "But the time to be shy and what not is way past over" Spike stood paralyzed with a mixture of fear and hope as she wadded around her, no longer doing anything to hide her body from him "I do believe sucking you off counts as crossing a line you can't uncross" 
"That's...not untrue" Spike responded as Spitfire put her arms around his neck and began rocking side to side, making him mimic the movement 
"Of course, I'm sure you know what this means right?" She asked
"now I owe you one?" he asked
"oh big time" She responded with a less than comforting smile "but don't worry I'm sure I can think of a few things..." She went silent when a loud ringing noise went through the house "...and of course someponies at the door." she sighed letting go of Spike "Don't think for a second this is over!" She added as she got out of the tub.
"I should hope not," Spike said making her turn back to him "What? you said it your self, that shy thing and trying to not let it happen has now become obsolete, I'm just accepting that I'm now dating the captain of the Wonderbolts and living with that." Spitfire smiled
"Thank Celestia, I was hoping I could properly get you on my side" She sighed "Come on, get dressed, There's a good chance it's a Princess looking for you" 
"That is always a possibility" Spike agreed as he dipped his tail in the water to rinse it off, as he began wading to the edge Spitfire watched in silence
"So....what exactly can you do with that spade?" She asked with a pervish smile
"Don't start with that" Spike replied as he got out, and with a mighty breath he blew flames on his body to dry off "We can talk about that kind of stuff when someponies not at your door," he added as he began dressing
"fine" Spitfire sighed as she tossed her Uniform into a Hamper and grabbed a Pair of Cargo Shorts and a Button up T-Shirt. "But I'm holding you to that!" she added as she started Dressing.
"Later," Spike said again, he looked down at her chest in silence as she put her Bra on and her girls seemed to Disappear.
"Missing something?" Spitfire asked rubbing her chest
"eh" Spike responded with a shrug "at least I get to look in your eyes" he responded as he zipped up his suit, making her glow red.
"I...um..." was all Spitfire could think to say as Spike left the room
"Not being shy anymore" He called "as per your request." Spitfire zipped her suit shut and followed after him
"Hold up, is there anything else you like about me?" She asked
"Are you fishing for compliments?" Spike asked,
"What? no..." Spitfire said in an unconvincing voice
"Good, cause there isn't enough time left in the day to answer your question" he responded, Spitfire sighed
"Please...never be shy to me again," she said as she leaned into his side "I'm rather enjoying you like this"
"I make no promises about acting like this around others," Spike said simply "but alone...I'm sure I can think of a few ways to make you smile," he said giving her a pervish smile
"Oh, please go on!" Spitfire said, smiling at him "I'm all ears!"
"Love to, but I do believe this is your door," Spike said, motioning to the door in front of them, Spitfire looked at it in frustration 
"dammit," She sighed as she walked over to the door, with a deep inhale and exhale she opened the door and meet face to face with Cadence and Shining Armor.
"Hi," Cadence said politely "May we come in?"
"Of course," Spitfire said as she and Spike got out of the way, the two couples looked at each other in silence for a solid 7 seconds
"Spike?" Shining asked, "What are you doing here?"
"I am dating the owner" Spike responded pointing over to Spitfire simply
"Yeah, but it's like...super late, I hope you told Twilight you were out."
"I did not" Spike confirmed, "I came here for dinner about an hour ago..." Spitfire facepalmed
"Celestia dammit, I forgot all about that!"
"And as you have just heard, we have not eaten yet."
"What have you two been doing for the last hour?" Cadence asked the tone of her voice and the look on her face suggesting she had a pretty good idea.
"Cadence" Spitfire said Politely "You of all ponies should be able to figure that out" 
"Oh!" Cadence squealed before calming herself down and clearly speaking "I mean, That's so nice, I hope you two were doing things responsibly and..."
"We didn't get that far." Spike interrupted "at least...not far enough to need any sort of protection"
"And we can't have children without a potion anyway so protection is pointless," Spitfire added, the two stood in silence smiling at the others.
"See," Shining said, "I told you Spike would be prepared!" a huge smiled on his face
"Why are...?" Spike asked motioning to the smile
"Why am I smiling?" Shining asked like he was stupid "Just think! In like two years, I could be an Uncle!" this was met with Spitfire cutting in.
"Shining," She said getting his attention "I really fucking hope so!" She said happily.
"do I have a say in this?" Spike asked Spitfire looked over at him.
"How much have you had a say in during this relationship?" She asked Spike thought for a second.
"about 36%?" he replied, "Maybe 40%? I definitely didn't have a say in our first, what, three dates?"
"Sounds about right," Cadence said simply "Equestrians can be pretty fucking dense sometimes" She smiled "But enough butting in, we came here to ask Spitfire something, a good thing too, now we don't have to fly down to Twilight's to ask you two Spike, since your here!" Cadence cleared her throat "Will you two accompany use on a Double date in the Crystal Empire?" Cadence asked, "We'd love to have you over for dinner." 
"Yes!" Spitfire replied immediately "We're off tomorrow at 3, it'll be a simple train ride to..."
"Don't be ridiculous" Cadence laughed "I'm not gonna invite you over and make you ride a simple train! We will come to pick you up, first class!" Cadence turned to leave before adding "And I'll make sure nopony interrupts you in your private quarters for our 2-hour trip" She added, Giving Spitfire a wink "I'm sure you don't wanna be interrupted while you two are doing anything important" with that the couple left and, after re-locking the door, Spitfire turned to Spike.
"She is so a Bridesmaid!" She said, outside they heard Cadence cheer.
"YES!" as the two laughed.
"Finally we can be together with no fear of interruption for two whole hours...speaking of which" She smiled as she leaned into Spike's side again "What was that about making me smile?" she asked, Spike's answer was to pick her up and carry her like a princess
"How about instead of showing you, you show me to your room and I show you?" He asked Joy sparkled in Spitfire's eyes
"Forget my room, I have a guest room next to the bathroom that's a lot closer!" She said wrapping her arm's around his neck and licking him "Make me smile" She said happily as Spike made his way to the designated room

"This one right here" Spitfire instructed, motioning to the 3rd door they had passed,
"Could you...?" Spike asked, Spitfire, nodded and opened the door for him 
"You could put me down," Spitfire said
"Oh, but I can't drop my Precious Cargo before her destination" Spike replied, closing the door with his tail, Spitfire sighed
"Please Tell me this is you forever." She begged
"When we're along" He confirmed "And Maybe in public a little...But Definitely not around Camera Dash, I'm afraid she'll upgrade to a Recording Device." Spitfire shook her head at that before she could say anything Spike lowered his head a little.
"So? Do you wanna keep talking about Rainbow Dash? Or you want me to lay you in the bed and join you?"
"Really?" Spitfire asked, "That's what you're going for to start this off?"
"I can go back to denying we're in a relationship if you..." Before Spike could finish his sentence Spitfire grabbed the back of his head and pulled him into a kiss, after a few second the broke apart.
"Don't even fucking thing about it." She responded happily "Now Take me to the bed and stripe me, stripe me good and slow." Spike rolled his eyes when she tapped his cheek. "Wait...even Better idea, tell me...how long is your tongue?" she asked with a devious smile. Spike responded by opening his mouth and wrapping his tongue around her hand and running it down her arm to her face where he licked her cheek.
"Thff  Lung" Spike responded. Spitfire eye's seemed to be sparkling as he sucked his tongue back into his mouth. Spitfire moves her hands to his face and made him stare her dead in the eye.

"Oh my Celestia your so cor.." Spitfire was cut off as Spike leaned over her and opened his mouth, his tongue licking the side of the neck as it went down her shirt. "Oh yes!" Spitfire's eye color suddenly shifted to that of a Rainbow for a moment before fading back to normal, Spitfire blinked, she didn't know why, but Spike suddenly seemed so much more real to her, less like a sexual desire and more like a romantical love. "I love you." She repeated as she fell asleep in his arms.

Spitfire awoke with a slight start as her alarm went off, she attempted to move her arm out to shut it off and instead found her arms were pinned to her side by something, Sleepily grumbling She opened her eyes and was met with the sight of Spike's chest. The events of the night before flashed threw Spitfire's mind and it took all her will power not to squeal with glee as She snuggled into the Dragon, intent to enjoy his embrace for just a few minutes before they had to get up and ready for work. She managed to enjoy this for about 15 seconds before the repetitive noise of her alarm finally managed to shake Spike away. Spike moved the arm that had been keeping Spitfire in place so he could rub his eyes, Spitfire sighed as she rolled away from him and got into a sitting position, hitting snooze on her alarm before getting out of the bed.
"Morning," Spike said lazily as flopped onto the ground with a thunk, Spike shot up off the ground and shook his head. "I'm Awake!" He declared as he got up stretching, it was at this point that the end of their night hit Spitfire as she realized that she and Spike were both stark naked.
"Oh good." She said happily "Now we can just hop into the shower and head out to work." Spike blinked up at her, the look on his face indicated that he had forgotten she was naked, he shook his head. "Oh, what's the matter?" She asked, folding her arms so her girls perked out a little more "You see something you like?" she smiled as he got up and she got a nice good look at him. "Cause I do."
"Let's save the flirty sexy talk until after I've bathed and had a cup of joe," Spike responded as he walked over to her and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Casue I'm too sluggish and sticky for this right now."
"Fine, I suppose I can wait just a little while." Spitfire agreed as she leads the way back to her bathroom. Their bath together went with nothing noteworthy going on. Once the two had finished washing up and had gotten dressed Spitfire lead Spike to her kitchen. Spike took a seat at her table and she grabbed them both a bowl of Cereal, an Apple, Spitfire made some coffee, Spike patiently waited until she had brought the drink back and sat down before digging in.
"So." Spike said after a few bites into his breakfast "Guess since we're just jumping right into this we should make a few agreements now," that got Spitfires attention.
"What kind of agreements?" She asked.
"Can you please agree, for the love of all Equestria, to control yourself when there is a Camera wielding Rainbow Dash prowling about?" he asked "or control yourself in general?" he added. Spitfire looked at him in silence.
"I agree to control myself if you agree to stop being so shy,"
"Give me about a week," Spike replied, "Publicly," he added after a moment ",when it's just you and me I promise that shyness will be far from the word to use for my behavior."
"I can live with that," Spitfire replied with a smile, Spike made to take another bite when his tongue shot out and licked Spitfire's cheek, Spike sucked his tongue back in and slapped his hand to his mouth, earning a large smile for Spitfire.
"First that was an accident, second you had milk splashed on your cheek,"
"you know we still have some time until we have to head out to work," She said with an evil smile "Why don't we take this time to get to know each other better?" to her surprise Spike returned her evil smile.
"What were you thinking?"



Spike sat on the cloud and Spitfire began pushing him on their way to work.
"That was fun," Spike said with a smile as Spitfire gave him a rotten look.
"Chess is a stupid game anyway," She muttered as they headed out.

Spike was at his desk, Twilight had sent his paper work back along with an angry note about not telling her he was gonna be spending the night at Spitfire's and after finishing up a few loose end's he'd missed he stacked them up and left them on his desk to be picked up by a Helper. He looked over to Spitfire, who was eating a salad with Carrot sticks as she looked over a few papers.
"Nice to see you finally eating, and it's even something healthy," He Cheered merrily. She stuck her tongue out at him and tossed one of her Carrot sticks at him, Spike's sniped it out of the air with his tongue and munched on it with a smile.
"You done?" She asked, eyeing his stack of neatly packed paper.
"For now," Spike replied as she looked to the only window in the room "The Classes penmanship is...less than phenomenal, and their punctuation's even worse," Spike groaned at the thought of what would happen when more and more recruits came under his command, after a moment something occurred to him. "There are a lot of recruits...but not so many Wonderbolts, why is that?"
"Oh, like 98% of all recruits typically fail to actually reach the requirements to become a Wonderbolt, some just don't have what it take, some give up, some actually read the work requirements and find out that in the event of a war or a event of extreme danger the Wonderbolt are more often than not first on the scene, Sometimes they get dishonorably discharged from the program, and the rest end up becoming helpers, only a select few actually become Wonderbolt Trainees, out of all the ponies in current attendance maybe...4 of them will make the cut," Spike looked at Spitfire for a long moment and ended up turning away, having failed to think of a response to that. Spitfire looked threw her papers for a moment, but ended up staring at Spike as he just kind of existed at his desk, she ate her last carrot stick and got up.
"Alright Spike, It's time I show you what I, and now you, do when Paperwork is done and there's nothing else to do for the remainder of the workday but wait for something to happen," Spike looked over at her and she smiled. "We go to the Gym,"

A Few Minutes later

"This is a Gym?" Spike asked as he looked at the outside world, A Few Wonderbolts and Helpers were using the Equipment in the area, Spike saw Thunderlane and Soarin Flying overhead and Spitfire patted him on the back.
"This is a Gym," She confirmed as she headed back inside "I'll be out in about half an hour or so to join you, take a look around, use some of the weight's if you want, but no getting close to the edge with 'em, you could get fired and worse if they fell and hit anything." Spike watched her go and looked around the Gym area, a few Helpers were Doing Push-ups and he even saw one of Spitfire's Recruits Using the Weight's with a Helper spotting them. He was about to go try lifting a dumbbell when Thunderlane landed next to him without warning.
"Sweet Celestia!" Spike yelped, getting a few eyes for a second before the others in the area went back to their own business.
"Hey Spike," Thunderlane said as he put his arm around Spike and Lead him to a door in one of the walls, "First time in the Gym?"
"Yeah," Spike replied as he walked with him.
"Ah, well Spitfire already has a locker with your name on it next to her's with a pair of Sweat Shorts and a Tank-top, Once you get changed out of your uniform I'll give you a quick tour of what can be done,"

A Few more Minutes later

Spike made his way out of the Locker room and found both Thunderlane and Soarin waiting for him.
"Hey Spike," Soarin said patting him on the back "So...this is the Gym," Soarin waved out at the are and then turned back to him "This is the Weight area, we lost every other area in an accident a few weeks back so...this is about it,"
"But!" Thunderlane chimed in "There is one other thing that can be done besides lifting weights," Spike looked at the two of them, the shining in their eye's telling him they really wanted him to chose the not lifting option.
"And that would be?" Spike asked, his question earning him another arm around him and being dragged to the edge where Soarin flew into the air, Grabbed a cloud and cut it's edges off around the side so it was very small.
"Cloud Surfing!" Thunderlane cheered "It's fun...and since wings aren't aloud it's the only sky activity that Rainbow Dash can be beaten in,"
"I already love it," Spike said with a smile as Soarin placed it next to the massive cloud they where standing on.
"Alright just step on and we'll give you the run down on how it works," Soarin said with a smile as Thunderlane flew up and grabbed a cloud for himself to use. "All you have to do it put one of you feet near the front and near the back, put your weight into the one in the front to go forward and the other one to go slowdown, Don't put both in front of back, you'll just fall off," Spike looked down at the long drop below him.
"I'm not enjoying this so much anymore," He decided as Soarin took flight to get himself a cloud, Spike's cloud began floating away from the main one and he put his feet in position as Thunderlane steadied his next to Spike.
"Alright, so how we play is simple, just fly, your cloud will start dissipating as you move-"
"Do what?" Spike demanded
"-and whenever you stop, you lose, Simple,"
"Easy for you to say," Spike replied "You can fly, you'll just go till you got no cloud,"
"Losing you cloud is also considered losing," Thunderlane replied "That said we do have an unfair advantage...but nopony else will do this with us and it's no fun with just two players,"
"Just try it, you might like it," Spike frowned as he got into position and looked forward.
"Fine," he sighed in defeat "Let's just do it,"
"On Three," Thunderlane said as he and Soarin took their stances. "One. Two. THREE!" The three moved forward and Spike blinked as they began moving at a snails pace.
"You kidding," He said as he looked at his cloud.
"Take's a minute to speed up," Soarin said as they all slowly began moving faster.
"I see why no one else would play this with you," Spike noted "not so much a work out as a kid's game," Thunderlane and Soarin gave him blank looks and Spike looked at them deadpan. "This is a Pegasus Children's game isn't it?" their lack of response was all he needed for an answer. "I'm never trusting either of you two again," After a minute they began moving at a semi-fast speed, Spike still sticking to the game mostly because he was stuck either way since his only way off was either a slow crawl back to the big cloud or jumping off and waiting for who know's how long for Somepony to carry him back up. Thunderlane and Soarin seemed to be enjoying themselves, and the helpers and one recruit who where working out stopped to watch two respected Wonderbolts and a Dragon play a game for small children that lasted almost 20 minutes, near the end Spike was going so fast he was afraid if he stopped he's be thrown off, Thunderlane and Soarin where defiantly having a blast.
"Isn't this awesome?" Thunderlane asked Spike.
"Its OK but I'm not waiting 20 minutes standing on a cloud just to reach speeds that'll kill me again," Spike snapped back as his Cloud began ripping itself apart," Soarin and Thunderlane kept going, glancing back and forth at Spike until they stated getting worried about his speed.
"Hey Spike, you might wanna give in," Soarin called to him
"I'm trying to," Spike replied getting both of their attention "But I don't think the cloud give's a dam," Thunderlane and Soaring watched as Spike began pushing his back leg into the cloud, only for nothing to happen.
"Oh crap," Thunderlane suddenly said "Spike how is it that you can stand on a cloud?"
"A Potion,"
"Oh Shit," Soarin agreed "Spike don't panic but...to stop it we use the same magic that let's us stand on them, It's one thing to start it, but to stop it without trowing yourself off  requires some magic."
"Magic I wasn't aware you didn't naturally have," Thunderlane added when his cloud lost it shape and he dropped behind, Spike looked back at him, then to Soarin.
"If I die, Tell Spitfire to slap you for me," Spike said before Soarins cloud broke apart and he was left in the dust, Spike looked forward and frowned.
"Celestia dammit," He groaned as he felt the cloud beneath him begin to give way, suddenly a pair of Arm's wrapped themselves around his waist.
"What the Fuck?" Rainbow Dash demanded as she Took his full body weight just as his cloud dissipated "Are you doing?"
"well I just got tricked into playing a children's game, then almost died because of it," Rainbow Looked back at Thunderlane and Soarin who were both flying a fair way back with guilty looks on their faces. Rainbow Groaned as she flew back to the Academy, which was a fair way away.
"When did you-?" Soarin asked.
"I was just relaxing when suddenly you three rocketed by and caused the cloud I was sitting on to dissipate, I was flying up here to insult you three, then Saw Spike on a rocketing Cloud," She eyed the two who gave her a guilty look "Last I checked we are a few thousand feet in the fucking air!" Rainbow shook Spike at them "And this Dragon can't fly!"
"We just thought," Thunderlane said before being barked at by Rainbow 
"You two just wanted somepony to play your children's game with you,  you clearly didn't think at all cause if you did you'd realize that putting something that can't fly on a tiny cloud that tears itself apart as it moves is a stupid idea even by my standards!" Rainbow began carrying Spike back to the Academy.
"As for you-" She added looking down at Spike who simply said.
"How much money do you have right now because of the pictures you've taken of me and Spitfire?"
"I'm letting you off scoot free, but if you ever do that again I'm gonna slap you and...I'll tell Fluttershy you endangering yourself," Spike looked up at her.
"I lost interest in that the second it started," Spike replied, "Just take me back to the Academy."
