Ground shivers and shakes
Under a orange red blanket,
Running of the Leaves

Everfree Forest
Leans a few inches closer
With the autumn wind

Filly crusaders
Skip and squeal once more in school.
Respite for chickens

~ Oct 4 ~

Monarch butterflies
Gather and travel in swarms
Through Ponyville

~ Oct 5 ~

Skies cleared, work is done
No more small clouds for naps—Ah!
Unbucked apple trees

~ Oct 6 ~

Pegasus race above
Distant world out of my reach
Further than the moon

~ Oct 7 ~

Long nights with cake and punch
Don't go home yet, sing one more song.
Does Pinkie ever sleep?

My little bunny
Playing in the fallen leaves
All belongs to him

Leaves are raked up in
Neat little piles, but Angel
Can't find his castle

Insects wait all day
Overhearing our worries,
Snickering at night

Cider season lines
Murmurs and excitement while
They wait for sunrise

Couple with the colt
Fighting behind the squash stall
Moving-away sale

Summer snow in springtime's harvest
Can wait—after tea.

Beetle in the grass

A Canterlot tradition

The crows tell me you're quite rude

Farm dog rolls around
Collecting the autumn rain

Bass drop shakes the moon
Reflected in her glasses
Even Luna can hear

Below, the top of
Each tree shakes one at a time
Make the apples fall

Wheels against the dirt
Scrapes loudly through dusk's shadow
Restless filly

A night in the woods
Making a new home
For this raccoon family

Tree stands silently
Rows of holes released their sounds
Missing woodpecker

Leaping and landing
From carrot field to cart
One last grasshopper.

Fruit bats need a home,
Not enough apples to share
With a cursed pony

Long coats and big hats
Sparkling eyes and smile bring warmth
In the autumn chill

Birds migrating south
Following the pegasi
Where-ever they go

Hot roasted chestnuts
Eat them while you're trotting home
Everything gets cold

With mares in every fashion

Blending in with the others
Bare maple branches

Earth pony village
Will relax and share its warmth

Hibernation Day
Festival without a peep
All together now

Chilly winter rain
Freeze snow shovels to the ground
Factory's late again

Empty withered field

Rush of sweat and tears

Little colt learning to fly

Pony-pulled sleigh rides
Both mares claim to be fastest
And the race begins

Frost covered fountain
The statue gets company
Snowpony circus

Over her fancy earmuffs
Nothern wind whipping her mane
She can't hear my laugh

Hot cocoa: four mugs
Three to warm up Pinkie Pie

Soft, round, winter moon
Illuminating the snow
Thrown back and forth

Crackling bonfire
Throws dancing pony shadows
Back at Everfree

Quick little snowflake
First to wear my brand new boots
I'll meet you inside

Solitary twig
Halfway up the hill of snow

Skating Saddle Lake
Little sister zooms ahead
Wonders why we're slow

Flapping wings don't make much noise
Surprise hug, a shriek

Days growing shorter
Less of everything except

Old quilt for two
Nothing changes its shape, just

Frozen Winsome Falls
Stopped roaring, stopped murmuring...

Carried away on train cars

The rustling and gossiping
Of a hundred crows

Coconut hot cocoa!
Absorbed by her scarf

Rodent nibble marks
At the bottom of the trunk.
Endless winter skies.

Withering branches
Clattering past hooves and teeth...
Too stubborn to fall

Numbing chilly air.
Applebloom wraps bandages
On Scootaloo's knees.

Granny Smith mumbling,
Wrinkles covered in white paint
Glaring winter sun

Sweet apple acres...
How do you find the borders
When the fruits are gone?

Hopping chickadees,
The big stallion of few words
Fixes a fence beam

A filly's first shoes:
Old Hearth's Warming gift she keeps
But can't remember

Rattling northern wind,
Saplings have to grow up strong
Hugged by wooden stakes

The scent of old straw
Drying in the charcoal's glow
She quietly waits...

Slice of apple tart
Warmed by a glowing sunbeam.
Window frosted shut

Restless young fieldmouse
Not needed in the orchards,
Go hibernate more

Hides away Equestria.
