Chapter One: In the Void

In the place known as The Void, there were two beings that floated aimlessly through the vast emptiness of the realm. A demon like creature with white and purple skin with horns and a long tail floated there in anger. In the world of fiction he was known as the Evil Emperor Frieza, a tyrannical space alien that ruled over the entire universe in the Dragonball series, but he wasn’t him. He was just a normal guy named Jack and he wasn’t a fan of this huge change, but what he found to be more annoying than floating aimlessly through the void was floating aimlessly with someone he found to be the most annoying person in his entire life.

“How come we aren’t somewhere yet!? For f**ks sake!” An auburn haired girl screamed in irritation. This girl, the bane of his existence, was Kotone Shiomi, formerly known as Audrina.

“If I knew the answer, then we would actually be somewhere you imbecile!” He shouted in anger as he folded his arms and looked away from her. Audrina was a huge fan of the earlier Persona games, and dressed as the female protagonist of the third game. She had been Jack’s only friend, and he hers.

“Aww, you’re just mad that I’m talking to myself instead of you.” She said in a playfully mocking tone, a late sign of Audrina losing her sanity.

“Hmpf… Say all the snarky remarks all you want, but understand this Audrey? If I could actually use these powers that Frieza used in the show, I would use them to seal that mouth of yours shut!” He shouted as he reiled around and showed his fist to her, but it didn’t frighten her. “Just remember this is your fault to begin with! You just had to buy those stupid medals from that man!”

“You told me to! You said ‘go buy something’, which was your way of saying bug off!” Audrina hissed back, “Plus, how was I supposed to know that magic is real!?”

“As if! You were the one who was like ‘Oh, come on Jack, let’s buy something together. As a momento for our last year at Comic Con!’ you dolt!” Jack growled as he turned away from her once more as the two continued to argue through the void.

“Yeah, by the way, you’re the one who wanted to go in the first place! Why wouldn’t I want something cool from the biggest gathering of dorks!?” Audrina’s voice cracked as if she were going through a puberty spike.

“Ha! It takes a dork to know one! And if I recall that was only one of the places I wanted to spend our last year! I knew we should have just gone with going to the pool! But no! You said you wanted something the treasure our friendship!” He shouted before placing his hand over his face and groaned.

“Yeah, well you know that smell chlorine makes!? Guess what, it’s not chlorine it’s pee! I would rather have you shut me up then have to swim through that putrid liquid!” Audrina faked gagging.

Jack could only growl as he continued to try his best to look away from his face, but when floating in an empty vacuum, it can be very difficult. The had remained silent for the time being, before he finally sighed and turned back to her. “Look, Audrey I know you had nothing to do with this, but right now. I just want to undo all of this and get things back to the way they were before. So I’m………...sorry.”

Audrina began to grin. “Sorry, what was that~?”

Jack could only groan before turning away from her. “Grr… I’m… Sor... ry.” He growled in response, he didn’t like it when she did this to him, but then again, she was the only one who actually wanted to be friends with him.

“Swaray?” Audrina’s grin widened.

“Keep this up and the moment I find a way out of this place, I’m leaving you behind!” He shouted in anger, but despite the jokes and teasing, she knew he was sorry. But before they could say anything else, Jack noticed something off in the distance that peaked his interest. “Hey Audrey do you see that?”

“Uh… I think so!”

“It looks like gate or something? Maybe that’s our way home?” He questioned, sure it was a long shot, but they were willing to do anything to get back home.

“Or it’s a trap…” Countered Audrina.

“It isn’t a trap… If it was then don’t you think we’d know? We’re literally the only ones floating in this godforsaken place!” He argued, before floating over there. “Don’t you want to go home?”

“Yes, but…” There was clear hesitation on her face. But he knew she’d follow him either way if it meant they could return to and find a way to get back to normal.

“No buts! We’re going and that’s final!” Audrina huffed, but followed his lead as the two landed a few feet from the gateway. Jack could hardly wait to turn back to normal and get back at the old man for putting him and his friend there in the first place. “Let’s hope that I’m right about this and your wrong.”

“When have you ever been right?” Audrina’s smugness was insurmountable.

All the frost demon could do was growl at her response, and simply walked through it without a second thought, but what happened next was something neither of them were expecting. “What the AHHHHH!!!!!!!”

They began to fall.

It was just a normal day in Equus as Princess Celestia sat upon her throne room, dealing with her nephew, Prince Blueblood once more. He began complaining that common ponies shouldn’t be allowed on castle grounds and it began to irritate her slightly, but she dare not speak these things. She had to keep up appearances, as breaking any ties to royalty could mean somepony far more intelligent and manipulative could take Blueblood’s place and vie for power in a dangerous game.

So humoring a moron like him wouldn’t be a problem. “Very well, Blueblood. I’ll see what I can do.” Celestia groaned under her breath.

“Thank you and be sure to tell Sunset and her friends that they also must dress appropriately when entering the castle.” He added before the guards began to escort him out.

“You’re not gonna do it? Are you, your majesty?” One of her guards asked once the Prince was out of sight.

“Of course not, but Blueblood needs to think he has some power with me.” Celestia replied. “He doesn’t understand how ruling a nation works… What’s next on the list?” Celestia usually felt comfortable acting like herself in front of her guards and most staff. She was obviously still motherly, but she was less stiff when it was just them. She knew she could trust them, and it was a warm feeling to have.

“Well, so far, there have been complaints about Blueblood’s attitude and Princess Luna wishes to meet with you later this evening, before you have to set the sun.” Her guard explained before bowing his head.

“Did Luna tell you why she wants to speak?” Celestia asked, raising an eyebrow. She’d figure out a way to tone Blueblood down another time, her sister rarely interacted with her outside of their breakfast/dinner times or events, the latter of which Celestia usually orchestrated for that exact reason.

“Yes, she wants to talk about having a pupil of her own for the nights as well. Figured she’d have something besides dream watching to keep her occupied. But besides that, there isn’t much else really.” He replied before hoofing over the scroll to her. Celestia took the scroll in her magic and began reading in. “But that is still hours away, so dealing with the complaints about Blueblood should be your priority right now.”

Celestia groaned internally. She had been putting it off, but then again, who wouldn’t? “Very well. But it isn’t royal duties, I’ll do it in my own free time.” The Princess of the day felt like she’d regret that, as free time was precious to her. But in the end, she’d already heard Blueblood ranting for an hour and a half.

“If you say so your majesty… I’ll leave the partition to ban Blueblood from Canterlot on your desk… Again.” He said, groaning as he also signed it.

Contrary to popular belief, Blueblood did give Canterlot benefits financially. Anyone other than Blueblood being in charge would mean a-

Celestia’s mind fuzzed up. Politics, after a full day of mind numbing work, scrambled her brain. “I’m sorry, but I will look for a solution to make him more tolerable.”

“Very well…” Her guard replied before exiting the throne room.

The day was nearly over, and Celestia had made her sister and herself breakfast/dinner.

“Hello, Celestia… I take it your doing well?” Princess Luna said sternly.

“Well enough, Lulu.” Celestia smiled warmly at her sister as she placed a plate on pancakes on either side of the table. “So, you want a student like I have, am I right?”

“Yes, some company during the night would be most appreciated… It would be better than being alone.” She said, glaring at Celestia. “Would be better than having you there.”

Celestia flinched. It was almost unnoticeable, but it was there. “Well, if you’re sure you can handle the responsibility, then I’m sure you’ll excel. Perhaps an older student...?” The solar Princess’ mind wandered. It did that quite often as of late, and it concerned her somewhat. ‘Maybe my age is catching up with me...

Celestia finally returned to reality, yawning. “Oh who am I foaling, you’ll be able to figure things out with Kibitz’ help. I had him transferred to night duty…” Celestia stated, however her smile began falling. “And based on how you’re acting, I should dispose of the breakfast I made, or you’d rather eat anywhere but here.”

“I’m fine, you don’t have to waste it.” She said quietly, but Celestia was still able to hear her. “Thank you for the food, Celestia, but I think it’s time that I raise the moon.

Celestia’s ears folded to her skull. “Alright. I’ll leave it out for when you’re done.” The elder sister said. She knew Luna still resented her, and she’d let Luna resent her for however long she needed. Celestia understood that time may not heal the scars of the past, but she’d be there for her sister no matter what. “If you need me at all, you know where I’ll be resting.”

By the time Celestia had walked out of the room, Luna couldn’t help but sigh before turning to the glass window to gaze at her moon. “Sleep tight… Sister… But be aware that I haven’t forgiven you.”

Audrina looked around at their surroundings, looking unsurprised. “Welp, I’m sure we aren’t home. Looks a bit cartoonish. Called it!”

“Mfph!” Jack muffled as Audrina had landed on top of him.

“You’re right, I am amazing!” She said before she was abruptly thrown off of Jack.

“I said get off me you idiot!” He shouted as he began to dust himself off, slamming his tail against the ground. “I think you need to start laying off the sweets fatass!”

“Look who’s talking? At least I look good, you look like Lord Voldemort got his cranium replaced with an eggplant and then learned that he had skin cancer!”

“Wow, that was so insulting. They should give you an award for not only having the biggest butt, but also having the tiniest brain in existence.” He retorted as he glared up at her, clenching his fists tightly.

“Hey, I heard guys like them big~! But yeah, you’re just jealous.” Audrina wasn’t insulted at all. Her tone of voice, in fact, told Jack that she was confident in her brain’s capabilities.

“Even if you are right about… That, you are in fact wrong about me being jealous. You were wrong about that gate being a trap. We’re still walking freely, we aren’t in a cage. So if anything I’m right!” Jack said, looking away from his friend as Audrey had a sly grin on her face.

“Then why’s the night sky purple?”

“Grr… That’s not the point of this argument! I was right about this not being a trap, your wrong and have a fat ass that almost suffocated me! So tell me who’s the one wrong here?” He asked with a smirk across his face as Audrina glared at the frost demon.

“You said it’d lead us home, not that it wasn’t a trap! And this isn’t home, therefore someone wanted up here, and you fell for their trick! So I’m right!” Audrina countered. “Where are we then, oh great superior!?”

“If your gonna continue to act like this, then I’m leaving your big butt behind.” He said as he began to walk off as Audrina began to follow him in a laid back manner. “Now if your gonna continue to make smug remarks, why don’t you explain where we are? Since your so insistent on being right?”

“I’d say… based on the sky, we’re in some kind of cartoon dimension.” She speculated.

“Well bravo! You figured it out! I didn’t know that we were in a bloody damned cartoon world!!!” He shouted at the top of his lungs. “You clearly don’t know where the hell we are, but I’m certain that once we make our way to the village down this mountain, we should be able to get the answers we need.”

“Oh my god I know what cartoon we’ve entered...! I think!” She said, staring at a city on another mountain.

“You think or you know?” He asked. “It isn’t that complicated.”

“Well I’m sure I’m right, but I’ve never seen Canterlot from this angle…”

“Now what in hell are you talking about now?” He asked, raising a brow at his subordinate- friend. He meant friend.

“Canterlot, the capital city of Equestria… the country focused on in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.” Audrina said, her voice dying with each word.

“You mean to tell me we’re in that ridiculous cartoon that you love so much? Can’t believe this is happening.” He said with disgust as he continued to walk down the mountain to the small village. Jack was never a huge fan of the franchise, unlike Audrey, she would girl out whenever she watched a brand new episode and he had to sit and watch with her cause his favorite show, Dragon Ball Super would be on next.

“Yours is ridiculous…” Audrina muttered.

“Say what you want… My show isn’t boring and expects the ‘Power of Friendship’ to save the entire world. Complete garbage if you ask me.” He said bluntly.

“Yes, and a bunch of men grunting while one of the villains is a hairless cat that deserves to be considered a furry isn’t…?”

“Take that back. He could literally vaperize this pony world in an instant if he wanted. Besides none of them would last ten seconds against a god.” He rebutted as the two continued to argue down the mountain.

“MLP has a god! His name is Discord, voiced by a Star Trek actor! He could beat you easily, even at a final form!”

“I doubt that seriously… I don’t think making it rain chocolate milk and making me act the complete opposite of myself as godlike! Besides if I recall, he only claimed himself to be a spirit of chaos. Nothing more and nothing less and if I knew how to transform, don’t you think I would have done it by now? Now if we’re done arguing about which show is better? How about we actually make some progress and get the hell out of here already!!!” He ordered, slapping his friend across the head with his hand as Audrey began to rush down the mountain with Jack continuously hitting her behind.

“I hate you!” Audrey cried.

Chapter Two: Learning and Listening

It took them nearly an hour as Audrey began to rub her rump from getting wacked by Jack repeatedly all the way down the mountain.

“Asshole…” She groaned. “Why do you always get physical?”

“Well if I don’t, then we would have been up there even longer arguing. Besides don’t you want to return home?” he asked as Audrey nodded her head. “Then we need to hurry and figure out a way to get home. Look I’ll do whatever you want for a day when we get back, but for now we need to get moving.”

“If we get back…” Audrey sighed.

“Hey, don’t be so doubtful… When have I let you down?” He asked.

“Two months ago you lost my little brother’s birthday present. A year ago you got us lost in New York until the police helped us. When I was-” She would have continued, before he slapped her behind once again.

“Well half of those situations was because of you. In New York you wanted to see the sights instead of sticking around with our classmates. And that time was your fault… Not mine! And this is no different, you got us in this mess and I have to get us out of it.” He said with a glare as Audrey glared back.

“Just drop it like your last girlfriend dumped you…”

“You had to bring that up… At least I can say I was in a relationship, you on the other hand were too shy to even advance on a guy.” Jack retorted before laughing as Audrey’s face began to turn red as she glared at the frost demon in front of her.

“Yeah, cause I’m waiting for the right one.” Audrey deadpanned.

“Heh, well how will you know if you aren’t even going to pursue anyone? I would be surprised if you even found someone who is half the person you are?” He stated, trying to contain his laughter as Audrey slapped him across the face.

“You’re right, the only guy I see right now doesn’t even come up to my chin.”

“Point taken… But once we’re back to normal, I’ll be taller than you again. But if I do know how to use Frieza’s powers I can at least be the same height as you in my final form.” He commented before pressing forward. “Now it took us nearly all night to get to the bottom of the mountain, but if we keep this pace, we should arrive to that village by lunchtime tomorrow.”

“Ugh…” Groaned Audrina.

“What is it now?” He asked.

“Already tired.”

“We can rest at the next time, don’t be a baby!” He argued, but she didn’t listened as she began to lay down beside an old tree. “I knew I should have stayed at home at least I wouldn’t be dealing with this.”

With Audrey now fast asleep, the frost demon couldn’t help but sigh as he went off to explore the forest on his own for a bit. As a way to test out his new strength and see where he needs to improve. As much as he didn’t like being in Frieza’s body, he wondered what it would be like to use the same kind of powers like him. Taking a deep breath, he pointed right his finger towards one of the trees and tried to fire off the famous death beam.

But nothing happened.

“Come on! Fire!” He said pointing his finger at the tree again, but there was still nothing and it only infuriated the frost demon as he punched the dirt beneath him. “Damn! I thought if I just pointed my finger and concentrated like Frieza, I’d be able to fire off a Death Beam!”

In a fit of anger, he soon kicked the nearest tree with all his strength and it went crashing down to the ground. Surprising Jack as he stared in awe after decimating the tree, turning towards another, he clutched his hand into a fist and struck it in anger, shattering it into splinters that went flying everywhere as the remains of the tree fell to the ground. He couldn’t believe it as he stared at his own hand before a smirk came across his face. “Hehehehe! So it looks like I have super strength, but I’m unable to use any ki energy at the moment… I’ll need to figure that out later.” He said as he walked over to where Audrey was and laid next to her and went to sleep as well.

‘I guess a short nap couldn’t hurt.’

Across Whitetail Woods, the Princess of the Night began to make her way over to Ponyville in hopes to find ponies in distress from the nightmares that haunt them in there sleep, but even so, Luna was more eager to see a certain unicorn’s dreams. Somepony who had freed her from the evil entity that had taken control over her a thousand years ago, Sunset Shimmer. It had been nearly two years now since the lunar alicorn’s defeat by the unicorn and the elements of harmony. But ever since then, Luna has tried to befriend the young unicorn and one day repay her.

‘This is where she’s staying if I’m correct?’ She thought to herself as she landed next to the Golden Oaks Library and slowly approached the front door. ‘If I knock on the door, then I may end up waking her from her sleep? What if she gets annoyed? Maybe I can still get out of here and return-’

But before the night princess could even finish her own thought’s, the doors to the library had swung opened, revealing an orange unicorn in light blue pajamas with stars on it and a small night hat to match it. “H-Huh? Princess Luna? What are you doing here?”

“Oh! Sunset Shimmer, you startled me… I was simply… Stopping by to see how Celestia’s apprentice is doing. Nothing more.” She replied, trying to sound convincing to the unicorn.

“Um… Celestia said that you would normally come here if I was having some kind of nightmare…” She said, looking around the room for a moment and outside. “I don’t see anything nightmare-ish about this place though…”

“A-Ah right, well that’s why I am here… To make sure there aren’t any terrors that’ll haunt your dreams during the night.” She explained, trying to convince her as the alicorn tries to regain her composure. “Anyways I thought this could be a good opportunity to get to know each other.”

“Okay…” Sunset said, before looking back at her. “What would you like to know?”

“Perhaps it’s best if we did it inside, it is getting chilly.” She responded as the wind blew through her mane as Sunset nodded and allowed the alicorn entry. As the Princess entered, she began to look around and noticed that Sunset’s home was no different from any other library, it had a lot of books. The only thing that made it unique from the others is that it was inside a tree. It was kinda ironic seeing how every page from her books came from trees. ‘Hehehe… It’s definitely unique.’

Snickering to herself, Sunset couldn’t help but look at the alicorn with confusion as to what exactly was so funny. But she decided to keep it to herself and coughed to hopefully get the Princess’s attention. “So, your majesty what is it you wanted to talk to me about?”

Realizing the unicorn had asked her a question, Luna ceased all of her little chuckles and turned to orange mare with a more calm and collected face. “Sorry, Miss Shimmer, that was quite rude of me. Anyways as I have said, I came here to discuss with you about your dreams. Anything strange or frightening lately?”

Tapping her chin, Sunset began to recall a dream she had recently. “Well actually Luna, now that you mentioned it, about two nights ago to be exact, I thought I had saw something in my dream. It’s hard to describe it though.” She said, it began to intrigue the alicorn as she listened to her tale.

“Continue Sunset, I can’t help you if I don’t know what your dream was about?”

“Well… my dream wasn’t frightening if that’s what your getting at.” She replied as the two took a seat at a small table. “In my dream, there was this creature… He was almost similar to those apes I’ve seen in Fluttershy’s animal files. But it didn’t have much fur… It had a black spiky mane and wore an orange suit of some kind. It’s similar to that of those karate uniforms I saw in baltimare. But suddenly, his mane turned gold and he was surrounded by this bright aura. Then I woke up.”

After ending her tale, the Princess of the Night couldn’t help but wonder what Sunset had dreamed. Out of every dream or nightmare, this one seemed to have alluded her and with a steady cough, the alicorn stood up and gave the unicorn a gentle smile. “It seems we have a mystery on our hooves hmm?”

“I guess we do, but-”

“Now, there will be time to go deeper into this matter, but for now, let’s just enjoy each other’s company for the time being. Try and get to know each other.” She suggested as Sunset smiled back at her. “So why don’t you tell me a little about yourself?”

“Well you already know that Celestia is my mentor, but I don’t think she’s told you that… Well, she had adopted me when I was a filly.” She said, rubbing her foreleg sheepishly as she waited for the Night Princess to respond, but she didn’t. The alicorn stood completely still, trying to process what she had just heard. After a few more seconds had passed, she finally spoke.

“WHAT!!!!”

Meanwhile, Jack began to stir from his sleep after feeling something heavy against his shoulder, turning to the side he sees Audrey resting on his shoulder, mumbling something about a a guy and as much as he thought she was cute, it was beginning to irritate the frost demon, but he sighed and let her be for a moment as he tried to figure out how to use the energy in side of him.

‘There’s gotta be a better way to using this… Ki… If I’m gonna get us home, then I need to learn how to use these damn finger power or whatever!’ He thought to himself, until he began hearing chuckling.

“My, my, this is quite the interesting development… Who would have thought an insect would be inside of My body!” A very familiar voice called out to him, realizing that there wasn’t anyone around other than Audrey who was still asleep. It didn’t take long until it finally clicked in his head, that the voice was coming from his mind.

Jack was now standing in the dark void that was his mind, for a moment he thought he was dreaming, but it didn’t make sense cause he could tell that he was awake after trying to figure out how to use his powers. From what the frost demon could tell, he was pulled in by… something else. And before he could even explore his own mind, the same laughter from before echoed within his mind.

“Hahahahaha! You do share a striking a resemblance to me, but I know for a fact that you aren’t the true Lord Frieza!” Whipping his head around, Jack was soon staring back with a fearful gaze at the one and only Frieza in his final form and to Jack’s surprise he sounded just like the famous voice actor Chris Ayres. “So why don’t you tell me who you really are maggot! Or would you rather have crush the answers out of you imposter.”

Gritting his teeth, Jack turned to the emperor and glared back at him. “I’m Jack, and this isn’t your body you bastard! This is my body-” But before he could even finish, Frieza had struck him in his stomach with a powerful punch and sent him tumbling backwards to the ground.

“Talk to me like that again and I promise you that you’ll be facing a fate far worse than hell! So show some respect to a superior being would you?” He said, standing over the frost demon with a vile smirk across his face. “I suggest you start telling me what I want to know now!”

“F-Fine… Just give me… a moment.” He said, struggling to stand up. “Like I said… This is my body, but I was transformed by a man… He turned me into you and trapped us here in this world.”

Raising an eyebrow, Frieza began to pick up Jack by his horn and lifted him off the ground. Glaring daggers at his look alike, he gently set him down to the ground before striking him to the side with his tail. “Nonsense! The absolute garbage that’s coming out of your mouth! Do you honestly take me for a fool?”

“Gah! I-It’s the truth!” He stuttered as he tried to pick himself off the ground, only to be kicked once again. Jack could only wonder how he was feeling such agonizing pain in his mind as the real Frieza continued to beat him. It wasn’t long until, the emperor of evil himself began to crush Jack’s head under his foot.

“Hahahaha! You didn’t even try fight back! You truly are nothing like me, now I want the truth or… I’ll have to eliminate you right now.” He threatened as a purple beam formed around his hand. “Five seconds to explain everything.”

“I told… That merchant put me and my friend here… You can’t kill me! Not until we get our revenge on that bastard!” Jack said as he glared back at his fellow frost demon who looked surprised and the beam began to dissipate.

“Revenge you say? Well now you’ve peaked my interest.” He said, pulling his foot away from him as he began to cough. “What do you mean by we? I’m assuming you’re not alone?”

“Y-Yes… My friend was also turned and imprisoned in this god forsaken world. All we want is find this Merchant who put us here in the first place and force him to turn us back to normal and send us home. And we’re willing to do whatever means necessary to do it.” He explained as he stood up and faced the emperor who had a grin across his face.
Laughing, Frieza couldn’t help but find his story to be amusing as he walked up to his fellow frost demon who was now on guard. “So you mean to tell me that this merchant you speak of is the one responsible for my imprisonment in your body?” He asked as Jack simply nodded, earning a scowl from him.

“Look, I don’t like this as much as you, but I can’t do anything until I find a way to return me to normal and get back home.” Jack explained once again as he took a step back.

“And what’ll happen to me, if you happen to return normal like you say?” He asked, and Jack knew where this was all going. Taking a deep breath, he spoke up to the emperor.

“You’ll disappear from my mind hopefully.” He said bluntly.

“Grrr… No! That won’t do at all! Listen here you worm! From now on you’ll be working for me! You will restore me to my original body and I don’t care if you don’t want to! I am Lord Frieza, the most powerful being in the universe! I suggest you bow now before-” But before he could even finish, Jack had leaped into the air and delivered a solid kick across Frieza’s face and sent him crashing to the ground.

“No! You listen here you bastard! I have been in an endless void for who knows how many days now! You forget, that this is my body! And if anything happens to me, well your as good as dead!” Jack bluffed, hoping that Frieza would by his threat and he’d be able to figure out a different way to get rid of this parasite inside his mind.

Frieza only glared as he wiped away the blood from his lips and stared at the smear blood on his hand before looking up at the frost demon before a small grin formed from his lips. “Bravo… you actually hurt me… And perhaps your right, I won’t take any risks of your demise and from the sounds of it, you experience is almost as similar to mine when I was stuck in earth's hell!”

“You have no idea what’s it’s like to be floating endlessly in an empty void. But talking about this isn’t gonna help our cases. So I think the best way for us to get what we want is to work together… But they are gonna be on my terms… Help me utilize your powers and gifts and I’ll see if there’s a way to get you your own body as payment. You can even have this planet under your rule for all I care, but me and my friend get a safe passage home without being killed.” He suggested as Frieza simply smirked.

“Very well, I’ll show you how to use your powers, however your first priority is to revive me and allow me a front row seat to seeing how you’ll do away with this Merchant.” Frieza said with a smirk on his face and for some odd reason, Jack couldn’t help but smirk as well.

“Deal.”

Chapter Three: Parting Ways, A New Enemy!?

After making a deal with the Emperor himself, Jack had regained consciousness and noticed that it was no longer night as the sun was now shining on his eyes. Taking in his surroundings, he noticed that Audrey was no longer next to him. The only thing that was there was a piece of paper under a pile of apples. Taking the note into his hand, the frost demon began to look over it, wondering why Audrey would leave him it.

‘Why would she leave me a note?’ He asked himself as he began to read it.

Dear Jack

I’m sorry that I couldn’t be of much help to you and after watching you try to use your powers, it made me realize that I would only be holding you back. Before you ask how I got a hold of some paper, I had to take it from an old stallion in town when he wasn’t looking as well as a couple of apples. Hope you like them jerk, but anyways, this isn’t goodbye Jack, I’m only going to be gone for awhile, just until I can master my own powers.

And look on the brightside, I won’t be in any danger when you use those lasers you shoot out of your hand lols. But anyways I’m gonna miss you, but next time we see each other, I will be a lot stronger and we’ll finally get out of this fucking world. I know how much you don’t like ponies and friendship. I do hope to see you again once I’ve mastered my Persona, and who knows, we could have a little fun when we get back home~

From your BFF,
Audrey

PS. Try not to get yourself killed, I want us both to go home in piece and try not to be a dick to everyone as well okay?

After finally finishing Audrey’s letter, Jack couldn’t help but sigh as he felt a sharp pain in his chest. His best friend was long gone by now and it was because of him, she had seen what he could do with his strength and from the way she had seen it, she’d only be getting in the way of the frost demon. Jack knew she was right, but it didn’t make the pain of his friend leaving hurt any less. “Heh, guess I’ll see you again soon Audrey and I do hope you’ll impress me with your new powers.”

“Hehehe, I can see little to no reason why you’d even consult with an insect like her?” He heard Frieza’s voice reply to him in his head, only irritating the Frost demon as he grabbed an apple that Audrey had left for him and took a bite out of it.

“You don’t know her like I do, Frieza… She’s an intelligent young girl, and knows how to manipulate things into her favor. She knows that I don’t have control over my powers yet, which is why she left. Not to mention that without mastery of her own powers, she would be a nuisance and she hates feeling useless… We’ll see her again… And she’ll be a lot stronger.” Jack explained as a small grin formed on his face as he took another bite out of his apple.

“Hmph! Says you, but I still don’t see how she’ll be useful to me later on?” Frieza asked as Jack glared, finishing his apple and grabbing another one and biting it angrily. Making the Emperor frown. “Now, that she’s gone, we can resume our plans on finding away to separate ourselves and eliminating this Merchant you spoke of.”

As much as Jack didn’t like it, he had little to no choice in the matter as he finished he other apple and stood up. “You know, you could have a little patience! Besides, we literally just woke up and I’d rather us get a head start on making our way to that town. We need to start gathering info from those townsponies that Audrey had mentioned in the letter.”

Groaning, Frieza had folded his arms as he glared at his doppleganger. In the past, he never had to worry sharing a body with anyone let alone an earth maggot, but he could see that there was some potential in Jack to be a loyal subordinate, even if he was struggling to use his own powers. “Fine, we’ll start there, but I suggest you put your guard up. I’m sensing a large amount of energy coming from there and true it isn’t that much of a threat, if someone here knew how to use there powers.”

Sighing he simply ignored what Frieza had said and began to make his way into town, unaware of the danger that was now lurking there. As his female friend, Audrey watched in the distance as the frost demon began to make his way over to the town.

“Goodbye Jack, Until we meet again.” She said before finally disappearing into the forest.

By the time Jack had arrived, the town was now in ruins as ponies began to run in terror, only making the frost demon more curious as he entered the town, he didn’t know why, but he was enjoying watching the ponies flee in panic. He guessed it was due to Frieza’s influence, but he could also be wrong. Still it didn’t answer any of his questions and before he could continue his way into the town, a young mare with a lime green coat and white mane and tail fell to the ground, struggling to get up before realizing that he was standing in front of her.

“P-Please… Help us!” She begged, grabbing onto his feet before he pulled away.

“I suggest you leave now… I’ll see what’s going on.” Jack replied before the mare smiled and ran passed him, thanking him as she disappeared from his sight, leaving the frost demon to simply smirk. ‘As if I’d actually help them… All that matters to me is getting home.’

The further Jack entered the town, the more destruction he witnessed as corpses were scattered across the ground, some of them were barely alive and he could only wonder what sort of abomination could cause this much havoc in such a short amount of time? Be he didn’t need to look any further as he spotted the one causing this mess.

“HAHAHA!!! Fear the Almighty Raditz!!!” A man who had long black spiky hair and black and brown armor said, shouting with joy as he fired off multiple orbs of energy in every direction. Jack couldn’t help but laugh to himself as the man continued to fire in all directions without noticing the frost demon.

“I thought it was gonna be something a little more terrifying.” He joked as he watched the saiyan continue on his path of destruction, but it was short lived as Frieza began to growl in anger.

“Dispose of that saiyan garbage!” He ordered, as Jack groaned from irritation.

“Why? He hasn’t done anything to me-” But before he could even finish his sentence, a bright ball of energy came flying at him full speed, colliding with his chest and erupting in a powerful explosion.

“HAHAHAHA! You should have payed attention loser! And now your dea-” But Raditz soon paused as the dust dissipated and the frost demon was still standing, unscathed with his face contorted to that of rage. “I-Impossible!”

“… You are going to pay for that you bastard.” Jack stated as he slowly walked up to the saiyan warrior, aching for a chance to wail on him, but before he could even do anything, he was conspiring with Frieza. “Care to tell me how to use my powers now?”

About time you started using some common sense… Similar to that of saiyan’s you must tap into rage… At the very least you should be able stand a chance.” He said with a light chuckle as he waited for Jack to eliminate Raditz. “And do try to put on an entertaining show for me, I won’t accept failure, do you understand?”

Scoffing, Jack simply nodded as he stopped a few feet from the saiyan who looked on in surprised before a smirk came across his face, but it didn’t faze the frost demon one bit, in fact it only made him even more angry. “You know for someone who claims to be almighty… What kind of half assed attack was that?!”

Taking a stance, Jack began to feel rage building up inside of him as he tried to draw out the energy Frieza had told him about and before he knew it, Jack was surrounded by a pink aura. Feeling his power rise, the frost demon couldn’t help but grin as he say the look of horror on Raditz face, and he didn’t know if it was Frieza’s influence or something else, but he actually took joy in seeing the fear in the saiyan’s eyes.

Raditz couldn’t believe what he was seeing, as the scouter on his face was seeing a power level of fifty thousand and it was still rising, this new comer had surpassed his current level and it was terrifying. “T-This can’t be!? S-Sixty five thousand!? Dammit!!!” He shouted in rage as he threw his scouter to the side and got into a fighting stance of his own, Raditz refused to believe that someone had a far greater power level then his own. It frustrated him to no end as glared at the frost demon in front of him.

“Sixty-five thousand!? Is that really the best you can muster? You should be able to go up to a hundred thousand in your current state! How utterly Pathetic!” Frieza said in irritation, believing that someone with his power couldn’t even muster a fifth of his first forms power.

“Cut me some slack! This is the first time I’m actually using these powers, if anything I should be getting praise and this bastard is literally shaking in his boots. That has to count for something?” Jack said to Frieza as this Raditz character was too afraid to make a move on him, but Frieza simply scuffed.

“This welp, should be groveling at your feet by now! Begging for his life, it’s obvious that this fool still thinks he’s powerful enough to face us!” He said before Jack turned his attention back to the saiyan who was backing away slowly, waiting for him to make a move.

‘I can’t focus on Frieza right now… I’ll figure out how to tap into the rest of my power later, but with what I can do now, I should be able to beat this guy at least and his attacks were pathetic, Audrey could hurt me more than this guy.’ He thought to himself before dashing forward and striking the saiyan in the face with his elbow, but he didn’t go down so easily as he tried to throw a right hook at him, but he blocked it with ease. Raditz soon unleashed a barrage of punches and kicks, but Jack dodged each and every last one them gracefully before grabbing hold of the saiyan’s fist in his right hand.

“Grrr… I’ll kill you!” He said, using his free hand for a back hand strike, but the frost demon only grinned as he dodged it and stuck his stomach with his knee and unleashed a fury of punches, striking the saiyan in his chest and face before kicking into a wall.

“I think I’m starting to get the hang of this… Still I expected a little more of a challenge.” Jack said as he began to try and channel energy to his finger tip, but just as it was about to form, a barrage of energy blasts shot of from where the saiyan had crashed. Gritting his teeth, the frost demon began to dodge the oncoming blasts.

“I REFUSE TO LOSE TO A PUNY LIZARD!!!” He shouted as he continued to fire more and more ki blasts at the frost demon, but he kept dodging each and every last one of his attacks, but Jack knew that if he kept this up, he’d eventually run out of energy and that’s when he would make his move. But before he could dodge another one of Raditz’s blasts, he tripped over some debris and was struck by multiple blasts before the saiyan finally stopped to catch his breath. Sweating with blood trickling down his chin, he couldn’t help but grin. “How’s that for a challenge you STUPID LIZARD!!!”

He couldn’t help but laugh as he had finally defeated the frost demon, but he figured it was best to make sure that this creature was finished for good and formed a large purple sphere in his hands. “TAKE THIS BASTARD!!!!” He shouted, launching it in the direction of where his supposed target was and it created a massive mushroom cloud. Grinning at his handy work, the ponies that were still in the surrounding area, looked on in horror as the new comer was vanquished by the monster that had been terrorizing their town.

“Now then… Which one of you puny horses wants to die ne-” But before he could even finish his sentence, he felt a sharp pain in his chest and could only look on in horror with the massive hole that was there. Slowly turning his head around, he saw the frost demon standing a few feet behind him, unharmed with a smoke coming from the tip of his finger.

“You know… You probably would have gotten me, if you had kept this on.” He said, holding the scouter the saiyan had threw away earlier in their fight. Jack couldn’t help but grin as he placed it on his head and pressed the button on the side and saw how Raditz’s power level was beginning to fall fast, dropping from what looked like thirty thousand to twenty, ten and it kept declining until it dropped to a messly one. “Well, I guess that jerk was right… Seeing how your power level was high, but not enough to defeat me.”

“H-Heh… I may… Have failed to kill you… But that doesn’t mean others won’t come after you.” He said, coughing up a bit of blood before Jack began to step on his back.

“What do you mean by that?” He asked.

“AUGH! The other warriors that I was a part of… Their powers make ours look like nothing… And unlike us… they don’t need a scouter to detect our strength. Your as...good as dea-” He was soon silenced by another one of Jack’s death beam as this only gave him less answers and more questions.

But before he could even think about what to do next, the remaining ponies that had survived Raditz’s onslaught began to come out of hiding and cheered with joy as they approached the frost demon. Thanking him for saving them and praising him, and Jack sorta liked it. “Thank you!”

And before he could even say anything, the mare from before approached him and kissed his cheek. “Thank you for saving our village stranger! My name is Melody Heart, Who are you?”

“I am Lord Frieza… Your future.” He replied with an evil grin, but none of the ponies noticed or mistaked it for a smile.

Meanwhile back at Canterlot, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna had just received word about the attack currently going on in the small village of Hooferdale.

“Your Majesties? Are you sure you can’t allow me and my guards to go deal with this creature who attacked the villagers?” A Royal guard asked, bowing to both royal sisters.

“There-” But before Princess Celestia could speak, she was soon silenced by her younger sister.

“There will be no need! I shall go investigate this matter myself.” Luna said, earning a nod from the guard as he stood up and began to exit the throne room, leaving the two sisters alone. And Luna may have been pleased with the idea of going to investigate this matter, but her sister on the other hoof.

“Luna? Why did you interrupt me?!” She asked.

“Cause, I know you were gonna suggest going yourself! You are needed here… I’ll deal with whatever this creature is and put an end to it!” She replied, glaring at the Sun princess as she began to make her way out of the room.

“Luna wait! Please… Be safe.” She said, knowing that her sister wouldn’t listen to her.

“Thank you… And you too.” She said, leaving the room.

‘Oh Luna… I know I haven’t been there for you a thousand years ago, but I’m trying to now.’ Celestia thought as she took a deep breath and exhaled. “I just hope Sunset can bring you out of your shell.”

Chapter Four: Planning Ahead, One’s True Strength

“Hahahaha! It seems that you’ve won quite the audience! It’s a shame they don’t realize your true intentions.” Frieza said with a grin matching Jacks and he couldn’t help but look back at his fellow frost demon.

“And it’s best to keep it that way… Give them a bit of hope for the time being… I don’t plan on being some hero for them. I only let them live cause they know everything about the world we find ourselves in. Once we learn enough… I dispose of them. I need a crew of warriors and intelligent beings. Not some weak feeble minded ponies.” He answered as he waved to the ponies. “Excuse me… Can someone point me to the nearest shopping district?”

“This isn’t the time to be fooling around!”

“That’s what you think, but I only need a few things from these ponies as payment for saving their sorry asses.” He replied before he felt a hoof grab hold of his hand. Turning to see Melody Heart with a kind smile, pulling him over to a shopping district.

“Right this way! What do you need Lord Frieza?” She asked kindly as she continued to pull him which only began to irritate the frost demon.

“Can you please release me? Your hurting my hand!” He said, earning a blush from the mare as she released her grasp from him.

“So sorry… Um… Anyways, what is it that you need, Lord Frieza?” She asked, bowing her head slightly as the frost demon rolled his eyes. He wasn’t used to being praised let alone bowed too, but Frieza only laughed in his head, being the opposite of Jack.

“I need a map of this… World called Equus, a history book, and lastly a cloak?” He asked, folding his arms as Melody nodded her head and began to make her way into a shop. Chuckling to himself, Jack couldn’t help but appreciate the sentiment from the mare. ‘To think that these ponies would do anything I tell them, just because I had saved them. How very naive.’

“So, would you care to tell me what your up too?” Frieza demanded as Jack scuffed.

“Right now, we don’t know anything about this damn place, our best option is to gather info and lay low for the time being, at least until we figure out what our next move is.” He explained, but before Jack could continue, he felt a light tap on his shoulder, startling him as Melody was standing next to him with everything he had asked for.

“S-Sorry, I didn’t mean to startle you! I was just here to give you what you asked for.” Melody replied as she handed him the saddle back with her teeth, Jack couldn’t help but chuckle as he took the bag in his hands and began to look inside, finding a brown cloak inside with a map and the history book he had asked for. Everything was going according to plan so far and Jack was all the more pleased with Melody’s work.

“It’s no problem at Melody, I have to say that I didn’t expect to get all of this so quickly. Do I have to pay?” He asked, but Melody shook her head to the side and smiled at the frost demon.

“Nope, it’s free of charge for you… Especially after you saved our village from… Whatever that thing was?” She said, shivering from what had happened earlier.

Although Jack couldn’t help but wonder how Raditz didn’t know who he was, considering how he was the most infamous villain in the Dragon Ball franchise. “Well… thank you for giving me what I have asked for… But I’m afraid this is where we part ways.”

“Oh, well… Thank you again… I do hope we’ll see eachother again.” Melody said, saddened as she waved goodbye to the frost demon who simply smiled and continued to walk away, putting on the cloak, but what she didn’t know was that Jack had plans that for their little town later down the road.

Back in Ponyville Sunset couldn’t help but wonder if Luna would be alright. Ever since she received a letter from Princess Celestia about the attack on a small village near Trottingham and how Luna went to go investigate it, she was beginning to worry that something terrible could happen to the lunar princess.

“Hello, Sunset… Are you in there?” A feminine voice called out to her and Sunset felt a little glad that one of her friends had dropped by, using her magic she unlocked the door and opened it, revealing Fluttershy, carrying a picnic basket. “I… I brought us some lunch, are you alright?”

“Thanks Flutters, but I’m fine, I just received a letter from the princess about a village being under attack… And Princess Luna heading there to hopefully deal with it.” She replied as the two made their way over towards Sunset’s kitchen.

“Oh my, I do hope she’ll be okay?”

“I hope so too Fluttershy, but I keep getting this nagging feeling that there’s something bigger going on here… And I think it has something to do with these dreams I’ve been having lately.” Sunset explained, as the pegasus in front of her gave off a curious look of worry.

“What did you dream about?”

“I… I saw something… A demon with pale white and purple skin… And its voice… It’s laughter… frightened me.” She explained as the unicorn began to shake slightly before Fluttershy had wrapped a wing around her friend, calming her down.

“It’s okay Sunset… I’m sure it was just a dream a nothing more.” Fluttershy said, reassuring the unicorn that everything would be okay.

“Your, I guess I’m overreacting a bit… Thanks Flutters.” She said, smiling back at the pegasus as she too returned it with a smile of her own. “So what did you make us for lunch?”

“Daisy Sandwiches and a small salad.” She replied, unaware that the pair was being watched outside Sunset’s window, by two tall figures, both wearing black cloaks as they looked towards each other.

A Feminine voice spoke out. “Chapel, shouldn’t we be dealing with this pony right now? I find it odd that this pony knows about Lord Fr-”

“Don’t say it out loud Hop… They are only dreams, but I see where you are coming from. These dreams this mare is having could be a problem for the master’s plan and as much as I would like to take this one out now, we can’t… especially since she’s allied with those pesky princesses.” The other figure said with a growl. “For now, we retreat and report our findings, I think this will be interesting information for our master.”

Meanwhile, Jack was now resting atop of a tree in what is supposedly called Whitetail woods, and he admitted that the scenery was calming to some degree and gives him time to look over the history of Equus and see what he could learn from it. And much to Frieza’s dismay, it was the only thing they could do at the moment, especially since the former tyrant wasn’t in control.

“This is foolishness! How long are you planning on reading? You should be conquering villages and gather forces to do your bidding!” Frieza stated in anger, since the two had been up in that tree for quite awhile as Jack continued to read everything he could.

“We need to know everything about this damn place before we even consider making a move. Besides I’m not interested in conquering like you, I want revenge for what that Merchant did to me and Audrey. Everything was fine until that sly bastard sent us here… Not only was I turned into you, but I have you in my head annoying me.” He said, closing the book and stood up and jumped down, making a perfect landing.

“Well you aren’t any closer to having your own revenge! Even if you find this fool, what’s to say he won’t kill you on the spot… You have no allies, no army, no empire, and no friends to help you. If you want your revenge then you must start by conquering, after all… This world is gonna be mine so I suggest you get to work.” Frieza ordered as he smirked at his counterpart, but Jack simply rolled his eyes as he soon reached Chapter 17 of Equestrian History and what really peaked his interest was the fall of the one known as Nightmare Moon.

“Hey, Frieza… Looks like we might be in more trouble than we originally thought?” Jack asked as he continued to read through the first page. “From what I’ve read so far, there are two immortal beings that can raise both the Sun and Moon, possessing magic unrivaled across the world and one of them had tried to take over Equus until she was imprisoned on the moon itself for a thousand years by her eldest sibling.”

“So not only are we dealing with lowly life forms but immortal beings as well? Well then, this just means you have to get stronger it's as simple as that.” Frieza explained as he smirked at Jack who gave the frost demon a deadpan stare.

“Easier said than done Frieza… If you ask me… The only way we can really win is if we gather allies… Cause even if I do find a way to control all of your powers, it won’t do me any good if I’m beaten and have no one to help.” Jack countered as he continued to look through the book, skipping several chapters until he arrived on Chapter 32, the realm of Tartarus. “Now this looks interesting, it says here that Tartarus is a prison world created to hold some of the most infamous criminals and monsters throughout all of history.”

“Hahaha! Then that’s where we shall look, after all it’s best that we do gather subordinates who at the very least have some brains, unlike that saiyan monkey.” Frieza commented as his famous grin turned into a scowl from the mere thought of Raditz back in that little village. Not that Jack blamed him, considering he also despised the brainless saiyan.

“It’s probably best that we don’t get ourselves involved with any Saiyan’s… not until I can learn to control these powers I have and I’m pretty sure that Raditz was sent to attack that town. Meaning there has to be someone a lot stronger than him… But that could all just be wishful thinking.” Jack added before closing the book and placing it inside the bag that the ponies have given him. Leaping out of the tree and landing safely onto the ground, the frost demon began to travel through White Tail Woods in hopes of finding a clearing to test out his powers and get some control over them.

Once he had reached a clearing, Jack began to survey his surroundings until he spotted an old dead tree between to others. Smirking to himself, he pointed his right index finger and began concentrating, trying to imagine the ki energy surrounding him before, but at a single point. Yet nothing appeared. “Hmm… I managed to do it before… So why can’t I do it now?”

“Because you lack the necessary training to control you energy… Simply imagining it won’t help you pathetic ape.” Frieza commented with a scuff in his tone, not pleased at the way Jack was envisioning a Ki blast.

“At least I’m trying… All you do is give me poor advice and lower my self esteem.” Jack retorted as he glared at his fellow frost demon.

“If you want use my magnificent power, then you should at the very least focus on controlling your energy and master the ability of flight soon after… Then you can use my techniques.” He explained, scowling at Jack who gave a deep sigh and began to take the same stance as before and began to power up.

“Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!” Jack’s energy soon began to rise as his body was surrounded by a dark purple aura, feeling his anger boil as the veins in his muscles began to bulge slightly. His eyes began to widen and strain as he shouted at the top of his lungs, before unleashing his energy across the landscape, devastating the surrounding trees in his destructive power, reducing everything to ash, until he was standing in the large crater he had made.

When the smoke cleared, Jack only stared in utter shock at his work, more so than Frieza who was gawking at the frost demon from his display of power. “How the hell did you access all of that power? You couldn’t even use a fifth of it before and now you suddenly broke your limitations?”

“I… I honestly do not know.”

Chapter Five: Jack Takes Flight! The Assassin Hopp Strikes!

Frieza never imagined that Jack, a human would access his full power, let alone control it. It was unorthodox for a mere human to unlock amazing power with some kind of mutation or was born gifted like he was. However he no longer awed his fellow frost demon and smirked. Seeing Jack was now tapping into his full potential meant he’d be able to transform.

Jack on the other hand was still in awe at his own strength, seeing how he was the cause for so much destruction, it was truly astonishing for him. Looking down at his hands, he couldn’t help but wonder what else he could do? “It feels like I can barely keep my powers under wraps. And this is only the first form.”

“Hahahaha! Try not to think to hard on it young Jack. You are merely grasping my unrivaled power, so it is only natural that you'd be stunned.” Frieza replied, as he chuckled, before his grin vanished as the frost demon turned away. “Boy, I suggest you stop gawking and pay attention… I’m sensing someone with a high power level.”

“Who?” Jack asked as he turned in the direction Frieza was facing only to see someone or something leaping from the trees before stopping.

“Whoa… What happened here?” The figure stopped, observing Jack from the distance. “Hehehe… Didn’t think there’d be another like Lord Frost.”

“Lord Frost?” Jack asked out loud as looked at the figure, clearly able to tell from the sound of the voice it was female. “I thought I’d be the only frost demon here.”

“Jack, eliminate her… now. She’s not here to just idly talk to you.”

“What?” Jack asked, but before just as he looked at the figure again, he saw a pair of claws unsheath as they pounced towards him. Knocking him backwards as one of the claws almost hit his shoulder. When Jack backed up to try and dodge her strikes, the attacker had her claws extend outward to try and reach him, but leaped into the air, jumping over her and landed a good distance away from her. ‘What the hell is with this chick?’

“Her speed is impressive, but if you unleash your full power, you’ll send this weakling to the afterlife.” Frieza suggested to him, but Jack groaned as he glared at his mysterious opponent.

“Who the hell are you? And Who’s Lord Frost?!” Jack demanded as he charged the figure, trying to strike her with his fist. Only for her to block with both of her claws before looking back at Jack.

“Why should I answer the questions of a dead man?” She smirked, before headbutting Jack and using what looked like a tail to pull Jack’s feet from under him and have him fall to the ground.

“Gah!” He yelled as he rubbed his face, feeling blood trickle down from his nose, before wiping it away and glared at the mysterious women. Using his tail, he wrapped it around her claws and pulled her towards him and he grabbed hold of her from her neck, strangling the female as he attempted to pull off the cloak surrounding her. “Time to get some answers!”

Though, before he could do so, part of the cloak soon tore off as the claws she had scratched Jack around the side of his chest. Making him flinch and giving his attacker the moment to slip out of the cloak before knocking him backwards. Though, it was in that moment that Jack finally got a look at who… or more likely, what was attacking him.

Before him was a tall feline women with with black hair and purple skin and yellow piercing eyes. She had a tight black colored outfit that stretched across her arms and upper chest while also having tight black pants, metal cuffs around her wrists and what looked to be black heels alongside her blood red nails. “Well, well… looks like you found me.”

“Who the hell are you? And why are you attacking me for no goddamn reason!?” Jack demanded as he began to focus ki into his and fired off a single orb of energy towards the feline only for her to dodge it easily. ‘Dammit! Well… At least I was able to shoot a ki blast.’

“I wanted to see if your skill was just as strong as Lord Frost… However,” The next comment she said… didn’t really settle well with the voice in Jack’s head. “You’re just mediocre at best.”

“Mediocre! That insolent whelp! If only I’d have my body back, I’d make her grovel at my feet and beg for her life! If you want to carry out your revenge against the merchant, then I suggest you kill this wench NOW!!!” Frieza yelled in anger as Jack began to feel annoyed again by his voice.

“Mediocre eh? Well how about I go up to full power… Then we’ll see who’s mediocre!!!” Jack grinned as the vain’s in his forehead began to strain as his entire body was surrounded by bright purple aura. “Let’s see if you can handle a power level of… 530,000.”

That… had his opponent blink for a moment, before she look back at him. “If that’s the case, then why didn’t you do that from the beginning?” She asked, a small smirk on her face.

“Well… I didn’t expect to be getting into a fight this soon after defeating that mindless ape Raditz. Let alone fight a girl…” He said with a smirk as he vanished from her view and reappeared behind her and struck her back with his foot, sending her flying into the air. Now feeling control of Frieza’s power, Jack felt like this was the time to test out if he fly or not. Stomping his feet to the ground he launched himself into the air and for a brief moment he was flying, clasping his hands together in a tight fist he struck the feline in the chest, sending her crashing to the ground.

Upon landing, she coughed for a moment as she wiped her mouth. Blood on her hands as she looked back at her. “Well… It seems like I was wrong about you then.”

Landing back on the ground on his knee, Jack couldn’t help but feel a little confident in himself as he saw his opponent pick herself off the ground. “Now… If you don’t want to piss me off anymore then I already am… You’ll start talking.”

Adjusting the cuffs on her wrist, the figure let out a sigh for a moment as she said one thing. “Hopp.”

Looking at her confusingly, Jack couldn’t help but raise a brow. “Hopp? That’s it? Your seriously telling me that after all this fighting and you trying to kill me. That’s your name?!”

“You were the one that wanted to know so badly…” She replied back, letting out a sigh. “Sheesh, for someone who’s trying to get stronger and not attract any attention, you’re really messing up left and right.”

“Well I wouldn’t say that… As far as those ponies in the village know… I’m a stranger who saved them… And I’d say were a good distance away from any settlements that I was free to test my own abilities… All I have to do is take care of you and everything will be fine for me.” Jack said as he began to crack his wrists and smirk at Hopp.

“That won’t stop the bacon haired one from seeing you in her sleep…” The cat like figure told her, before saying something else as she smirked. “Or for that matter… you getting blindsided.”

Before realizing what she means, a massive ball of fire was hurtling towards Jack, consuming his body in flames. “Hopp, why are you wasting your time flirting with this fake!” Another voice came from the tree’s in the distance.

“Oh come on now, this guy isn’t my type anyways,” Hopp shot back. “Let’s ditch this place!”

“Insultent… WORMS!!!!” Jack roared in anger as his ki blew away all the flames, his body covered in scorch marks that he was soon levitating off the ground, glaring at the pair in front of him. “I don’t care… if you think I’m a fake… But I can promise you… That you’ll SUFFER THE WRATH OF LORD FRIEZA!!!!”

Feeling his power bursting within him, Jack began to shatter his own armor with only his ki as he felt his limbs extend outward, increasing in mass and length, his arms growing first, then his legs, his feet, his whole body began to grow as his entire body was consumed in a bright light, blinding both of his assailants.

“What the hell did you do, Hopp?” Chappil asked as his own cloak was blown off, revealing a metallic like dragon.

“Don’t look at me! You were the one who set him ON FIRE!!” Hopp shot back at Chappil. “I was trying to find out more about him to see if he was like Lord Frost or not.”

“Well I’d rather not wait to see what happens… We need to leave now!” He ordered, taking flight into the air as Hopp followed, however once the light had disappeared, the only thing that remained was Jack… In his second form.

“Well, that confirms one thing…” Hopp said to herself, before taking off to join up with Chappil.

“Now… Shall the nightmare begin? Hm?” Jack asked as he watched the two fly off, but he could only smile to himself.

Princess Luna only looked with envy as the villagers picked up the remaining pieces of their shattered town, she wasn’t expecting to find so many ponies slaughtered. It was awful to look at, but from the looks of some of the surroundings, it looked like a battle had taken placed, but that begged the question? Who was fighting here? “Lieutenant… How many of my little ponies… were killed?”

“According to the reports… around twenty or more,” The batpony told her. “With many more suffering life threatening injuries. We’ve set up an infirmary to treat those who were wounded as well as try to figure out what exactly happened here.”

“Have your unit continue treating the wounded. You and I, Lieutenant, shall continue the investigation from here on out.” Luna ordered.

“Yes, Princess.” The lieutenant nodded, saluting Luna as the two of them continued to trot down the street. Despite all the destruction in their wake, nothing else seemed to be out of the ordinary, until the lieutenant spotted a corpse of a strange creature and then turned to one of the other guards inspecting it.

“Hey, Corporal. Did you have a team inspect this one?” He asked, as the other pony looked at them for a moment.

“We did so earlier, but we’ve gotten reports from survivors that this… whatever it was, was the being attacking the town,” The fellow guard replied back. “It shot out some kind of strange… energy from… well, whatever is at the end of it’s forearms and was clashing with another creature. One of the other ponies said that this guy had some kind of contraption over the left side of his face, but the other creature took it with him before they left.”

“That… all just sounds strange to me…” The lieutenant said, looking at Luna briefly before asking a different question. “Who was the pony that you were talking too about this?”

“It was a mare named Melody Heart. She not only saw what happened, but actually gave us a description of the other creature that was here and told us it’s name,” The corporal replied back. “She’s currently helping out the medics in the infirmary since we’re short on hooves right now.”

“Take me to her immediately.” She ordered as the corporal bowed in response and began to escort the princess to the infirmary that was set up by the guards. However before she could enter, she felt a powerful magic surge miles away from where she stood, taking her completely by surprise. “W-What on Equus was that?” She mumbled to herself.

“Your Majesty? Is something wrong?” A young mare wearing a lab coat asked.

“I-It’s nothing… Take me to this, Melody Heart.” She ordered as the young medic nodded and took her through the tent, and sight of so many ponies laying on beds with bandages and IV’s on made the lunar alicorn sick to her stomach, but the pair had soon stopped in front of a young mare with a lime green coat, with a white mane and tail, tending to a little colt.

“Try to get some rest… Everything will be fine.” Melody said, petting the young colts mane. “I’m sure he’ll come back to save us again… I know it.”

“Excuse me,” Luna then spoke softly, waiting for the mare to turn around before continuing what she was saying. “Would you happen to be Ms. Melody Heart?”

“Oh, your Majesty… Um, yes that is me… What can I do for you?” She asked the lunar princess, bowing her head.

“Well… my lieutenant and I had some questions about what happened and the corporal outside told us that you could help… He also mentioned that one of the individuals that was involved in the incident actually spoke to you.” The princess replied back to her.

“Oh, you mean Lord Frieza… sigh… I never met somepony as kind hearted as him. He saved our village and slayed that brute with ease.” Melody replied, her cheeks flushed as she smiled.

In Luna’s mind though, hearing the word ‘Lord’ in front of the name made her think of a powerful being like Lord Tirek. However, she did not want to quickly assume the worst of this ‘Frieza’ just from a single thought. “You mean he defeated the one who was attacking your hometown?” Her question was followed by a small nod from the mare as Luna thought of another one to ask. “Could you perhaps describe him for me?”

“Well… Lord Frieza is unique for a individual… He’s no taller than you or me your majesty, his skin is that of a reptiles but his facial features… just… take my breath awa- Cough, cough… Sorry, I mean to say he’s rather charming. He does walk on two legs instead of four, similar to that beast Raditz that attacked us. He’s truly a noble being whose power, and looks are incredible.” Melody explained, trying her best to hide her blushing features, but the Lieutenant rolled his eyes.

Luna herself was trying to picture what Melody was saying in her head, but some of things that she was thinking didn’t exactly come out right. Especially because there wasn’t a lot of possibilities for walking, talking charming reptiles unless they were a spawn of Discord. “Hmm… Lieutenant, can you get one of the ponies that’s a sketch artist in here? I think it might be helpful if we had a visual reference to go along with what Melody is telling us.”

“Of course, princess.” The lieutenant nodded his head, before stepping out and leaving the two of them alone.

“Is there a problem with how I’m describing him your majesty?” The young mare asked.

“No, it’s just that some ponies do better if you put a name to a face. Since this Frieza isn’t here with us, I wanted to make sure we know who he looks like.” Luna assured her.

“Oh, I suppose that makes sense.” She replied.

After waiting silently for what felt like an eternity for both the Princess and Melody, the lieutenant had returned with an old stallion wearing a painter’s smock. “H-Hooowww… may I help…”

“Hello there,” Luna greeted the newest pony to come in. “I assume that my lieutenant informed you of the situation.”

“As best as I could,” The lieutenant replied before turning towards the stallion. “Sir, we would like for you to do a sketch based on the description of an individual this mare saw earlier today. Can you help us?”

“Draw an elixir for the mare? You young folks have a strange way of-”

The lieutenant just stared at the old stallion, before letting out a sigh and facehoofing himself. “I swear if the others are doing this just to embarrass me…”

“Sir?” Luna now spoke. “Can you help sketch us somepony that we’re looking for?” That was met by another jumbled thought, before the princess looked at the mare. “Melody, would you happen to know who this stallion is?”

“Mr. Pencil… He used to be my art teacher back when I was a little filly… He’s retired now and his son Pencil Junior is his replacement. Why exactly did you get him instead of somepony you know… younger, Lieutenant?”

“My colleagues must have gotten the two of them mixed up somehow… either that or they did this on purpose to embarrass me in front of the princess.” He sighed, before looking back at the elderly stallion. “Mr. Pencil? Would you happen to know where your son is?”

“Well that’s a silly question… The Sun is outside shining in the sky…” He replied as he slowly began to make his way out.

“I mean Pencil Junior, sir.” However Mr. Pencil did not reply, muttering something about potatoes and carrots being the same. Melody and even the princess couldn’t help but giggle, embarrassing the lieutenant more.

“Let’s not worry about it for right now,” Luna replied, before turning back to face Melody. “Would you mind if we come back later? That way you can have some time to tend to the injured?”

“It’s no trouble at all your majesty… But I can promise you that when you see him… you’ll know who he is.”

Luna nodded her head, smiling for a moment as she turned to face Melody one last time. “I’ll take your word for it.” With that, both the princess and the lieutenant of the night guard stepped out of the infirmary. Allowing for her to tend to those who were in need of her care.

Chapter Six: Jack’s Second Form, Enter Sunset’s Dreams

Jack didn’t know what had happened to him, but suddenly he felt a tremendous power flow through him, power that was unlike anything he had endured before. It was almost overwhelming, but despite having this new found power, he had far bigger fish to fry in the form of a metallic dragon and a feline runt.

“Now then… Shall the nightmare begin?” He said aloud as he watched as both Chappil and Hopp continued to get further and further until they looked like little ants from the distance. Smirking to himself, he clutched both his fists together and felt a sudden surge of ki flow through him, and he vanished from where he had stood.

Meanwhile, Chappil and Hopp continued to fly away as fast as they could to avoid combat with the frost demon and alert their master of this new threat. “Come Hopp, you need to pick up the pace… I felt that beast’s power increase ten fold.”

“I’m trying here… I’m slowly recovering the energy that I used earlier, but it’s not enough for me to try and keep up,” The cat figure told him. “Unless you have something on you to make my recovery faster, than-”

However, before Hopp could finish her sentence, the frost demon had appeared in front of Chappil, shocking the two before Jack punched Chappil in the chest, cracking his metallic chest as the dragon began to spew blood as the frost demon smirked at them.

“Peek a boo~” He said, elbowing the drakes neck before grabbing hold of his throat and began to strangle him. “Next time you try to fry someone, you’d better be sure they’re dead, otherwise, they’ll crush your metal like neck, like I am!”

“G-Gah! H-” Chappil tried to speak, but no words came out as the demon in front of him began crushing his throat, preventing any sort of oxygen to enter him as his vision began to become blurry. Hopp herself, watching her comrade like this, attempted to intervene by attacking Jack from behind in an effort to make him release Chappil.

“If I were you, I’d run for the hills Hopp, unless you want to suffer the same fate as this mindless brute.” Jack said to her, turning to her with a vile smirk, sending a shiver down Hopp’s spine. “Not that’ll make a difference.”

“Grr…” Hopp growled, glaring back at him. “What… do you want? You wouldn’t go as far as to transform like this or leave my partner struggling unless there was something you wanted to gain from it… So what do you want, you horned bastard?”

“Hahahahahaha!!! Is that what you’re honestly thinking!? Maybe when we were fighting before my sudden transformation, then I would have asked for your undying allegiance to to me. However, I’m willing to let bygones be bygones as long as you and your friend here agree to be my slaves for all eternity.” He explained, loosening his grip on Chappil’s throat a bit for him to breath.

“D-Do it… I don’t… Want to die… Like this-” However his words were cut short as the frost demon tightened his grip on the dragon’s throat.

“So… What will it be little kitty?” Jack said with a vile grin, not loosening his hold of Chappil’s neck.

“You swear to let him go?” She asked, before letting out a sigh as she realized there really wasn’t any other choice here. “...... I’ll do it.”

“Excellent…” Jack said, releasing his hold of Chappil, seeing him cough uncontrollably before kicking the drake to the ground, shocking the feline in front of him, before turning his gaze towards her.

“W-We had a deal-” But before she could finish, she suddenly felt a wave of pain in her stomach.

“I said, I’d allow you and your friend to live as long as you served me, but I never promised you that I’d allow you both to walk beside me unscathed now did I?” Jack whispered into her ear, before wrapping his tail around her chest and neck. “I’ll make sure you share the same amount of pain as your friend down there… When serving me, I expect absolute loyalty… And once I’m through with you, Hopp… You’ll be begging to stay by my side~”

Jack explained, before punching her in her stomach again, while also tightening his tail around her, cutting off air to her lungs as the frost demon’s tail continued to strangle both her neck and chest. He continued to punch her in the stomach for what felt like an eternity for Hopp. Sweat began to drip from her face as her stomach began to show bruises as her face began to turn pale, however Jack released his hold of the feline until he fired off a ki blast against her chest, sending her crashing down to the ground before being consumed in a large explosion.

“Hahahaha! Magnificent! I couldn’t have done that better myself!” Frieza said, watching everything that had transpired. “But I am rather curious as to why you think these weaklings will have any sort of use to you?”

“You said so yourself Frieza… If I’m gonna have any sort of chance to get you out of my body and take revenge against the merchant, then I’m gonna need subordinates, and true that small village I saved may not have had warriors, but I’m willing to take those pests as loyal servants. However, I need warriors, and now that I’ve unlocked this second form, I’ll torment these two into giving total allegiance to me!” Jack explained to his counterpart before flying down to the two he’d defeated. Glancing over to Chappil, who was now laying atop of an old dead tree, but Jack could still sense that he was indeed alive in there, before his gaze was set upon Hopp.

She laid on the ground, her clothes torn as the remains of it barely covered her body, she began coughing up blood. “W-what more do y-you want from me-?”

However he didn’t allow her to finish her sentence as the frost demon, began stepping on her head, crushing her skull with her feet. She began to scream in agonizing pain, but Jack didn’t listen to her pleas, and only began to press harder on her head. Jack normally wouldn’t have acted to brash towards them, especially since they had just pledged loyalty to him, however he felt Frieza’s evil influence begin to manifest itself from within. He had to make sure they obeyed him.

“Now don’t worry… Kitten… I’m not going to kill you… After all you had pledged your loyalty to me, but that doesn’t excuse you from being punished for an attempt to kill me.” Jack replied, lifting his foot off her face and brought it down hard against her chest. “Remember this pain… Attempt to betray me and I’ll do more than just bring you harm… I’ll torment you to the point where you’ll beg to serve me.”

Hopp didn’t say anything, but just bared with the pain as she felt his foot crushing her into the ground.

“L-Lord… P-Please… Spare her, she’s an intelligent asset… W-we swear… our allegiance to you-” Chappil paused as he struggled to get to his feet, but suddenly felt a tremendous force send him flying through the trees.

“I see, so you actually do care about your comrades well being, very interesting. I was beginning to think you were gonna allow me to torment your friend here a lot longer.” Jack said, setting his foot back to the ground as he turned back towards Hopp. “So… now that you know what’s in store for you in the future, I’m looking forward to the two of you serving in my cause.”

As Hopp was slowly getting up… she looked to see where Chappil was sent flying before coughing out some more blood. “S-so… what h-happens now?”

“It’s quite simple really, you’ll start telling me everything you know about this Frost! Don’t leave any details out, I want to know everything.” Jack stated, lifting the feline off the ground and making her stand. “So… Start Talking!”

However, Jack was unaware that the two of them were being watched far out into the distance, by two others, wearing similar cloaks to that of Chappil and Hopp. “It’s hard to believe that both Hopp and Chappil could be defeated so easily… It’s shocking really, don’t you think so Comfrey?”

“You’ve said it, Vikal,” Comfrey said, removing his hood, revealing a humanoid amphibian like creature with a stern look across his face. “I knew those two would be defeated, but betraying Frost, that’s the height of hubris. Cowards like that must be destroyed.”

“We need to report this to him immediately… He won’t be pleased by their betrayal, but perhaps learning that he isn’t the only Frost Demon here could take his interest.” Vikal spoke, removing her hood as well to reveal a beautiful women with pale white skin, long flowing light blue hair with pointy ears and purple eyes.

“Hmph! I’d prefer it if we eliminate them ourselves rather than inform our lord of this… Those two were the weakest out of all of us.” Comfrey explained, lifting his hand from his cloak and formed an orb of fire in his hands.

“True,” Vikal replied. “But if we intervene now, then we would need to fight that Frost Demon down there… and in our present state, we cannot take on the likes of him…” At seeing the fireball, Vikal glared directly at Comfrey, almost as if he was saying ‘don’t you dare try anything’ with her eyes. “If he were in his first form, we could’ve done it… but you saw how swiftly he dispatched them in his current state. Do you want to end up like them?”

“And you also forget that I have fought against, Lord Frost in his final form, as well as you. This pretender is nothing more than a joke, acting all high and mighty just because those idiots let their guards down.” Comfrey explained to her.

“And wouldn’t you prefer to face him when he is at your level… I always know that you prefer a challenge when it comes to fighting. Otherwise you wouldn’t really care about it at all.” She told him. “Now, we’re going back… If you even try to strike them now, I will consider that as defying a direct order from Lord Frost… and you know what will happen when he hears about that, don’t you?”

“Hehehehe… You really are trying to piss me off aren’t you, Vikal?” The amphibian asked as the fireball in his hands disappeared and he walked up to his partner and placed his hand on her shoulder, squeezing it tightly. “And just so you know… Just because Frost made you second in command, doesn’t mean you can order me around. The next time we see that pretender, I won’t hesitate to kill him as well as those treacherous worms. Are we clear?”

“Crystal.” She replied, at the pair disappeared into the darkness of the woods.

Meanwhile back in Ponyville, Sunset just couldn’t take her mind off that creature she saw in her dreams, there were so many questions whirling around in her head that it was just too much to keep track of and when she thinks she’s getting close to the answer, more and more questions keep forming in her head.

“Grr… Damn.” Was all the unicorn said as she crunched up a piece of paper into a ball and threw it across the room into a large pile of crumpled up paper. However before she could even begin writing her analysis of her dreams again, the door to her bedroom creaked open slowly, drawing the unicorn’s attention away from her work and she soon saw the Lunar alicorn standing by the doorway.

“P-Princess Luna?!” Sunset shouted, almost falling out of her chair.

“Hello, Sunset, I hope I’m not intruding on your privacy?” Luna asked shyly as she slowly trotted up to the young unicorn who had begun to straighten her mane.

“Uh… No! Not at all, Luna, you're always welcomed to come visit me.” She replied, before giving out a loud yawn. The princess couldn’t help but laugh as she sat beside her.

“Seems to me like you’ve been studying a little too much if you ask me?” She said, looking around the room, seeing scraps of paper scattered across the entire room.

Take a deep breath, while rubbing her eyes, she looked back at Princess Luna and couldn’t help but let out a weak chuckle. “Well… I have been trying these past few nights to figure out what I had seen in my dream, but I keep coming up empty. Not to mention that… Thing I saw.”

Luna herself raised an eyebrow, confused by what she meant. “Could you elaborate on what you mean?”

“Even I don’t know what it was Princess, but it looked like a demon, it had pale white and purple skin and a sickening laugh. I’ve been trying to recall what else I’ve seen, but from the looks of it, it was rather short, but it reminds me of some kind of reptile and it walked on two legs.” Sunset said, trying her best to describe the creature she had seen in her dream, but after a moment of silence, she turned to see if Luna had an answer.

“Did… it say anything?” Luna asked. Almost as if she was surprised by what exactly Sunset was telling her. “Like a name?”

“N-No… I only remember it’s… awful laughter.” Sunset said, rubbing her forehead, before another yawn escaped her mouth.

Yet… Sunset was not exactly expecting what Luna would say next as the princess used her magic to close the door to Sunset’s room. “Sunset… You are sure that was what you saw? And that it was exactly like how you described it?” All the unicorn could do was nod her head for a brief moment, prompting Luna to speak. “Sunset, that exact being was seen earlier today in Dodge Junction. An unknown creature was attacking the ponies that lived in Dodge Junction, but a creature of the same description that you told me intervened… and a witness of the whole thing said that she heard it say it’s name.”

“W-What was its name?” Sunset hesitantly asked.

“It called itself… Lord Frieza.” She replied, as the room suddenly went silent.

Sunset didn’t think that her dreams of the creature would actually be real, but even more so, she wondered if both of those dreams of the tall bipedal creature she saw in her dreams four nights ago and the one named Frieza she had seen the other night were somehow connected? However as some questions in her head have been answered, new ones appear, repeating the cycle of this mystery.

“P-Princess… If it’s true… that my dreams are showing me these… creatures, then is it possible that we can somehow put these dreams together and solve this problem?” Sunset asked as Luna stood up from her spot and motioned Sunset over to her bed.

“Well… First, I would need to see your dreams before we can do anything…” Luna told her, as she laid down on Sunset’s bed, waiting for the unicorn to approach her. “Just close your eyes and let me do the rest.”

Nodding her head, Sunset approached the lunar alicorn and laid beside her, resting her head on the bed and closed her eyes. “O-Okay I’m ready princess.”

Instantly, Sunset felt a surge of powerful magic flow around her. Almost as if it was ripping her out of her own body. But after a moment, she heard Luna speak again. “There… now, open your eyes.”

When Sunset opened them, she found herself in what almost looked like a forest. Not like the Everfree, but much different and calmer as she took in her surroundings. Before turning around and seeing Luna standing directly behind her. “Welcome to the Dreamscape… more specifically, your dreamscape.”

“Wait… This is my dream?” Sunset asked.

“It’s the plane of existence where your dreams manifest… Think of it like this,” Luna said as she pointed a hoof towards what looked like orbs that were glowing and sticking out from the ground. “We aren’t in a single dream, but in a place where all of your dreams have been saved here ever since you were born. In the evening’s, it’s my job to venture into other ponies dreamscapes to help them overcome any particular nightmares that they might be having.”

“But in this case, were trying to find out if my dreams are really something to be afraid of?” Sunset asked, looking at her surrounding area, to see if she could spot anything that could remind her of the two beings she had seen in her dreams.

“Well, there are ways to figure out which ones it might be…” Luna said, having Sunset follow her as the unicorn soon noticed what looked like a couple of orbs that were much… smaller than the others. And unlike the first ones, which glowed white, these ones glowed a light red. “Ones that are small in size mean that these dreams had occurred most recently… and if they’re red, it means that they weren’t exactly pleasant ones either. So this must be what has been bothering you recently.”

“Y-Yeah, but they look so weird though, it’s like they’re missing pieces from them.” Sunset pointed out, seeing that some of them were missing pieces. “Do you think you can reform them or even merge them together?”

“Hmm… It is possible…” Luna said, using her magic to pick up the orbs in an attempt to combine them. Not only did it make the orbs go bigger in size, but it also changed the color of the orb as well to where it seemed like a mix between white and red. “This one seems… mostly complete. But it seems to still be missing something.”

“W-Well, I’m sure we’ll at least learn something from it… At least until I can start remembering what I had seen.” Sunset stated, smiling towards the princess who couldn’t help but smile back.

“Very well… Shall we begin then?” Luna asked.

“Let’s do this.”

Chapter Seven: Sunset’s Nightmares, A Bandit Massacre

Sunset and Princess Luna stared at the orb for what felt like an eternity. Waiting for the next dream to come forth as if somepony was waiting in the office for Day Court to begin, but before the unicorn could say anything, the orb began to glow brighter and brighter, blinding the both of them. It wasn’t like anything they’ve encountered before, but the sensation that they felt was rather… strange. It felt welcoming, but also rather tense as if something serious was in the air.

“Where… are we?” Sunset asked, looking towards Luna.

“It appears we are in the dream that is contained within this orb… but where we are… that I do not know.” Luna told her in response.

“Wait, what do you mean by that?”

“Normally, dreams would take place in a location that’s similar to a place within Equestria… but this feels foreign and not related to it at all.” The princess of the night explained to her, but before she could go on, Sunset pushed the lunar princess to the ground, taking cover as well as a beam of red light soared over their heads and struck the surface beneath them.

“W-What was that?” Luna asked, seeing the massive crater behind them.

“I-I don’t kno-” Sunset paused, hearing the sound of thunder through the air, but there were no clouds and before they knew it, a strange object came hurtling towards them, crashing beneath the surface, the land around them falling apart as water began to rise. Luna using her magic, began to levitate Sunset off the ground and began to take flight into the air as the ground shook.

“Sunset? Do you recall any of this?” The alicorn asked, but the unicorn was unresponsive as she watched, geyser shoot up into the air and whatever had crashed there began to slowly rise into the air, however, the lunar princess stopped mid air, spotting a tall bipedal creature with torn rags and golden hair. If lunar princess didn’t have a dark blue coat, her face would be completely blue as she looked on in horror. “T-This is what… You saw!?”

“You do realize how hypocritical this is? Your outrage of the lost of innocent lives?” They both heard, however the unicorn recognized the voice and slowly turned towards it, seeing a short pale white creature patches of purple skin with a long tail. “The Saiyan race isn’t exactly known for it’s mercy. Compared to you brutes, I’m a saint!”

The two mares could only look on as the two creatures continued to talk until the one with golden hair finally spoke. “We paid for our crimes.”

“And I made certain of that. You little monkeys alway got on my nerves.” The pale creature stated as it raised a brow, smirking at his opponent.

“It’s your turn Frieza, you knew this day would come.” And after hearing that name, Luna’s and Sunset’s suspicions were correct that the creature that had appeared in Sunset’s dreams before and the one that saved that village are indeed connected.

“Hahaha! You honestly think your a match for me!?” Frieza stated as he pointed his thumb at himself. “I could defeat you with both hands tied behind my back! Who knows? I might even try it!”

However the Saiyan did not move as his frown turned into a grin. “It makes no different if you are a Super Saiyan… No one battles Frieza and walks away!”

“Sunset! We need to wake up! NOW!” Luna shouted as she began to cast her magic, tearing the dream to shreds as the two beings before them clashed, sending a shock wave unimaginable, before the alicorn woke up, sweating as the unicorn next to her had jolted up.

“FRIEZA!!! He’s the one… the one with that horrible laughter…” Sunset shouted, panting as she began to hyperventilate

“S-sunset, please! Calm yourself…” She insisted, trying to get the unicorn to breathe easier as she looked back at Sunset. However the unicorn couldn’t stop, as she began recalling the dream, seeing the monster again and hearing its name made her panic, at least until the alicorn wrapped her wing around her and held her tightly to her chest, humming to her. “It’s okay… We’re no longer in the dreamscape… We’re safe now Sunset.”

“Y-You heard its name… Frieza, he’s… going to kill us.”

“Sunset, listen…” Luna replied back. “There are a lot of unknowns about him… and from the reports, he was supposed to have horns. He might have said that was his name, but his appearance doesn’t match the description that I told you… We need to find out more before we can confront this being.”

“O-Okay… J-Just give me… a moment… It’s just… Hard to believe that… Those two things actually exist.” Sunset said, trying to process what she had seen.

“You’re… not wrong there,” Luna replied, still processing everything she had witnessed as well, before realizing she was still holding Sunset close to her chest and began to lightly blush before releasing the unicorn. “A-Anyways… if you need me Sunset Shimmer, I’ll be in your guest room, if it’s no issue at all?”

“Oh, it’s fine Princess… Your welcome to stay here.” Sunset said, giving her a brief, but sincere smile before turning away. “Um… Princess? I’m not sure if… I’ll be able to sleep… After everything we saw, I just don’t know if I can.”

“Don’t worry Sunset, I’ll make sure you have pleasant dreams this night, after all I am the Princess of the Night, and watching over my little ponies dreams is simply one of my duties.” Luna explained, her horn glowing as she began casting magic on the young unicorn.

“W-What are you doin-” Before Sunset could finish her sentence, she had soon fallen under Luna’s sleep spell and fell onto the covers of her bed, giving off light snores that made the night princess giggle as she tucked her friend in, making sure that Sunset had peaceful dreams.

“Sweet dreams Sunset, you don’t have to worry about this any further, I’ll look further into this Frieza character and find out if the one from your dream is the same one Melody Heart described, but until then I’m going to have to ask Sister for help.” Luna thought to herself, as she looked back at the sleeping unicorn and couldn’t help, but smile at her as she leaned over and gave Sunset a gentle kiss on the cheek before leaving the room and making her way towards the guest room.

With the day over, Jack continued to march through Whitetail woods, dragging and injured Chappil by his tail and carrying Hopp over his shoulder. The frost demon had tortured the two most of the day, until he finally grew tired of it and decided it was time to get some answers from them. However the information that was given to him wasn’t much, but it was enough for him to formulate a plan if he ever did encounter the one name Frost.

“I can’t believe that these two hardly knew anything about Frost, other than that he's their leader and moves from place to place. To think I’d actually get some useful intel from these morons.” Jack thought to himself, as he continued to make his way back towards the village he had saved, in hopes to patch the two.

“If this Frost is like any other being, someone in his position would only have their closest allies know their secrets. For me, it was Zarbon and Dodoria… the two that you found were just sheer grunts in comparison.” Jack heard Frieza’s voice echo inside his head.

“Yet, those two both got their asses handed to them by Vegeta and those two didn’t even come close to the power these two displayed.” Jack retorted, however he knew Frieza was right and if it’s really true that these two were just foot soldiers, then he was going to have to improve his own skills if he ever hoped to return home someday.

“They were foolish to underestimate the fact that those damnable saiyans get stronger when on the brink… But you are right when it comes to terms of power…” Frieza spoke again. “Though, now that I think of it… Did you ever ask those two about who else served this Frost? Surely if the two that you beat did not have any information on Frost, someone else might.”

“Hmm… I’ll be sure to ask them once these two are in… Decent condition to answer questions. Still, I want to know if you actually know about Frost?”

“Why would you think I would know about them? Sure, the name sounds like something that one of my kind would call themselves, but I’ve never heard or met anyone with that name in my life…” Frieza replied back.

“Whatever… Whether you know him or not, I’ll just have to find a way to eliminate him myself. If what Hopp says about him is true, then he’s as powerful as your final form.” Jack explained to him, setting down his two new injured subordinates.

“You’re quick to assume that my final form is the sheer peak of my power, young Jack. I have broken through limits that I once thought was impossible when I was brought back to life… I’m sure that in time, you can be able to break those limits yourself before you use that power to break the Merchant’s spine.”

“Heh! I know about your Golden Form, Frieza. However I don’t think I’ll need it to take down Frost. Compared to you, Frost is just another weak knockoff trying to be you.” Jack said, beginning to suppress his power, and revert back into his previous form. “Hmm… I think I’m getting a better understanding of how your powers work, seeing as how your first form was to suppress the powers of your final form.”

“One step at a time, young Jack… One step at a time.”

Hearing those last words from his fellow frost demon, Jack left both Hopp and Chappil against the tree as he began to make his way back into the village, but before he could even step out of the darkness, he noticed dozens of ponies in dark navy blue cladded armor. “Hmm… What is happening here I wonder?”

“All of you with forensics better help with finishing this investigation as fast as possible, you hear me?” One of them, who appeared to be commanding the others shouted at them. “Witnesses have said that a being here that called himself Frieza saved this town and princess Luna wanted to talk with him… but I don’t buy any of it. So if you manage to see him or see anything suspicious, report to me immediately! You got that!?”

“Sir, yes sir!!” The other guards shouted in unison, saluting the pony that was in charge.

“Seems like I’m rather famous now… But I don’t like how this pony is portraying me as the bad guy here, especially after saving these pitiful ponies lives. However from the looks of it, the ponies here don’t look too happy here either, so I’m sure they’ll understand why I’d… off those soldiers.” Jack said aloud to himself as he watched every one of those guards march off in multiple directions. “I’ll have to move swiftly, take them all out and get those two medical attention.”

As Jack observed the pattern of the guards routes, he spotted the one leading them all enter a small tent and couldn’t help but smirk as he kept to the shadows. Meanwhile, within the tent, the Corporal couldn’t help but laugh as he continued to beat a young mare inside the tent. “You will tell me where he is… Otherwise you’re not going to see your husband again, wench.”

The mare beneath him was a pegasus who had a tan coat with a red mane and tail, her left eye was bruised with tears seeping down her face, her cutie mark was missing as only a bald spot remained. “P-Please… I don’t know!”

As the mare cried, she felt as if there was nopony in the world that could come save her. She anticipated the next beating, but instead of hearing the sound of the corporal’s forehoof against her side, she heard something knock the corporal to the ground and a new voice approach her. Turning around to see the bipedal form of the same being who saved her town earlier.

“Y-you’re-!” She gasped, tears running down her face as she looked at Jack. Hurrying towards him. “T-thank the stars that you’re here!”

“Care to explain to me what the hell is going on here?” Jack demanded, glaring at the mare as he picked up the Corporal by his mane and lifted him up into the air.

“H-he’s not part of the guard…” The mare told her, wiping the tears from her eyes. “Him and s-several other guard members are bandits that were hired by some… Frost… pony? This pony had been tormenting me for hours, trying to get me to tell him where you were. Threatening to kill my husband…”

“Frost? Well… Then, I still have use for this insect afterall.”

“Y-you need to hurry t-though… I overheard him ordering some of the bandits to find the pony who saw you… I-if they find Melody, t-they might put her through w-what I just went through.” The mare replied back to her.

“Hahahaha! Don’t worry you little head… I’ll see too it that these bandits are dealt with swiftly. I’m not going to allow scum taint the very town I had just saved no less.” Jack stated as he began to drag the Corporal outside and taking flight into the air, until he was high enough to be spotted by the bandits that were on the ground. Aiming what looked to be crossbows at him as numerous bolts began to fly past them.

“How pathetic… do they really think such ancient weaponry can harm the likes of you?!” Frieza laughed. “Go give them a taste of fear that they won’t forget.”

“It’s truly pathetic to think those feeble weapons could harm the likes of me?! And what’s worse is that you’d actually shoot knowing I’m holding your superior officer hostage!” Jack said, glaring at the bandits before him until the ground beneath began to shake as the frost demon lifted his left hand into the air.

“I think the time is ripe for you to use that ability next… Hehehehehe!” Frieza said to Jack as both frost demons laughters filled the night air as the ground began to crack as large piles of rocks rose into the air. With a motion of his wrist, the rocks began to drop down towards the bandits. Much faster then many of them could react as they got crushed by the sheer weight of the boulders that were thrown directly at them. The sounds of screams and cries of pain echoed throughout the town until they all died down alongside the dead that were crushed.

“Well done… I couldn’t have done it better myself.” He heard Frieza say, just as Jack noticed a few survivors desperately trying to flee from the town. Pointing his finger at them, Jack fired a series of beams. Shooting each one of them down as them began to drop like flies until there were no more of them left.

Looking back towards where he placed Hopp and Chappil now, he soon remembered something important. That he needed to take them to Melody so she could heal them. “Ponies! I have once again saved your village, so as a reward for my efforts, I ask that you heal my comrades that rest in those trees.”

Immediately, a familiar face soon emerged from the confines of a nearby tent. The mare named Melody Heart as she looked back at Jack. “L-Lord Frieza! Thank goodness your here… I was beginning to think that you weren’t going to return to m-*Cough, Cough* Return to us!”

“Yes, but not for the sake of saying hello I’m afraid… You see, two of my subordinates have been severely injured.” He said, using his newly awaken telekinetic powers, he lifted both Chappil and Hopp over to him. “As you can clearly see, these two are in need of your medical expertise.”

“I’ll see what I can do… But what about… Him?” Melody asked as everypony turned towards the bandit leader Corporal. “When he first arrived, we thought he was sweet and kind hearted, but it turned out he was a despicable bandit. He’s beaten, raped, and killed over a dozen ponies in this village… We… We don’t want to go through this again.”

“He has information that I want to strip from him first,” Jack then responded as he picked up the unconscious stallion and carried him over to the tent he was in before. “And I’ll do whatever it takes to get it out of him. Think of it as Justice being served.”

“T-thank you, Lord Frieza!” Melody told him. “Y-you have done so much for the town that we call home, how can we ever repay you?”

“This village is now under the name of Lord Frieza… And as such, if I do return to this village, I expect a warm welcome.” Jack said with a cocky grin, before he felt the Corporal stir.

“W-what-?” The Corporal muttered, until he realized the situation that he was in and saw that his men were buried under numerous boulders.

“Well look who’s awake? I’ve been waiting a while for you to stir. Now that I have you up, your going to answer my questions Corporal. Hehehehe!” Jack said, grinning at the stallion as his eyes glowed brightly before he threw the stallion into the tent and entered inside. “Now… I suggest you start telling me about this Frost you work for… Who is he exactly?”

“W-Why should I tell y-” However, the Corporal felt a tremendous amount of pain in his forehoof as a small hole opened appeared suddenly, smoke of his flesh burning, before seeing the frost demon aiming his index finger at him.

“So, will you start telling me what I need to know, or would you rather for me to begin the real torture?!” Jack asked, shooting him on the other hoof as he watched the stallion fall to the ground after only two shots, which really disappointed him. “For a big horse like yourself, your not really resilient are you?”

“Gah! S-STOP YOU BI-” But he was once again shot by another ki blast from Jack, but this time it was on his torso.

“Watch your tongue welp… I’m only keeping you alive because you have information I need. And trust me, you’ll be begging for your death once I’m through with you.” Jack said, smirking to the stallion as his finger glowed once again. And throughout the night, all that could be heard were the Corporal’s screams of agony.

Chapter Eight: Hopp’s Past Unveiled, Frost Revealed at Last

“Lord Frost, I have a report from the town of Dodge City,” the harpy like being named Vikal spoke up as he entered the chambers of Lord Frost’s domain. “The leader of the bandits that you hired to try and pry information on this ‘Frieza’ figure were all eliminated by the very same person. Current intel suggests that he’s keeping the one who calls himself ‘The Corporal’ alive in order to acquire intel about our operations.”

“How utterly pathetic, to think I could actually trust those fools to blend in with the Royal Guard, only to be slaughtered by some pretender! It seems that it is time I stepped in and showed those villagers just whose in charge around here!”

“Sir, forgive me for speaking out of turn, but is such a move wise?” Vikal then asked the frost demon. “This is the same one who defeated Hopp and Chappil as well as force them to serve him. We can just as easily send someone to eliminate the Corporal before-”

“Lord Frost, don’t listen to this wench! I say the two of us take care of those weaklings together, you’ll not only demonstrate your dominance, but show those ponies who’s truly on top of the food chain!” Comfrey said, entering the room as he approached Frost. “Think about it, if we go out there and kill them, then we’ll show them that we are the superior being-”

But before Comfrey could go on, Frost’s tail lashed out, sending the amphibian flying into the wall, before turning his attention towards Vikal and slapped her across the face. “Both options from my highest ranking officers no less are both ridiculous and pointless. Killing the Corporal now, especially when that coward most likely told him everything is pointless and I refuse to allow a weakling like you Comfrey fight at my side when you’ve failed to even kill the Princesses.”

Vikal stood her ground, before rubbing off the bruise that was on her face as she looked back at Lord Frost. “What do you propose then, my lord?”

“I’ll destroy Dodge City myself, eliminating all life there including the one who calls himself Frieza. However if he does survive, I want you to personally bring him back here Vikal… After all I don’t trust anyone else to take care of this task.” Frost explained, grinning at her as he walked past her, taking a quick glance at her figure before turning over to Comfrey’s direction and pulled him out of the rubble. “As for you Comfrey, I want you to eliminate a pony named Sunset Shimmer, she’s been having dreams that could possibly hold information about my existence.”

“Dreams? How can dreams hold information about you? Has this pony even seen you before?” Vikal then asked, curious as to what Frost’s response would be.

“NO!” He shouted, using his tail to wrap around Vikal’s leg before pulling her closer to him only for him to punch her in her stomach. “AS IF I’D MAKE A FOOLISH MISTAKE LIKE THAT!!! It’s possible that this pony can glimpse into the future, foretell certain events, or see images that could give her clues of my existence. I’ve worked too hard to get where I am today and I won’t let some mamby pamby pony get in the way of my world conquest!!”

“G-gah!” Vikal groaned in pain. “A-apologies, my lord…”

“Lord Frost… I’ll do as you command.” Comfrey said, glaring at the frost demon. “For now.”

“Now then, I think it’s time for us to depart, and Comfrey bring Hyssop and Oregano with you. I have a feeling your going to need their help. Let us go Vikal, I want you to witness the destruction of Dodge City in my Assault Form!”

Meanwhile in the infirmary, Melody Heart continued to try her best to tend the wounds of both Hopp and Chappil. “Oh Celestia, what happened to you two?” Melody asked, checking on the IV’s she had given them, but before she could do any more check ups, a loud chuckle came across the room.

“Hehehe… If you must know… Those two got into a little scuffle by an unknown assailant, but I saved them in the end.” Jack explained to her, walking up to the mare. “So how are our patients doing today?”

“I-I was able to stabilize them… They should wake up any moment now.” Melody said, turning gaze away from the frost demon.

“Well thank you for your kind generosity Melody, but I believe I can take it from here. So if you don’t mind as to leave me alone with them I’d truly appreciate it?” Jack asked, smiling towards her as she nodded her head in response and trotted off giggling for some unknown reason, but figured he’d ask about that later as he turned over to Hopp. “Get up, I know you're awake.”

“Ugh… w-where am I?” Hopp asked, before looking back to see Jack standing right in front of her. Almost jumping out of the bed as her fur stood up on end. “L-lord Frieza!”

“I suggest you sit still, you idiot. Your badly injured as it is, don’t need you breaking anymore bones.” Jack told her as he sat on a small chair across from her. “Now your in a infirmary in a small town called Dodge City.”

“D-dodge City?” She said, scratching her ears as she looked back at Jack. “T-that’s a new one… H-how’s Chappil?”

“Still unconscious unfortunately, but that isn’t my concern right now. You still owe me an explanation as who you really are?” Jack demanded, glaring at the feline.

“I already told you, my name is Hopp-” She said… looking back at him with narrow eyes. “Wait… what do you mean by who you really are?”

“Oh, please enough with the games… I know for a fact that you weren’t always Hopp. Just like your friend there wasn’t always Chappil and me Frieza. I suggest you tell me who you really are or I’ll have no other choice but to beat you to an inch of your life like I did in Whitetail Woods.” Jack threatened, making Hopp’s fur stand up as she began to hiss.

“...... Helena.”

“Helena… That’s a name I never heard of…” Jack said, as his glare vanished and was replaced with a look of envy.

“It was my name before Hopp,” She said to him in response. “And Chappil is my brother, Carter… We don’t know how we came here, but upon arriving here, Frost found us. I… think you know the rest of the story.”

“It’s fine if you don’t want to tell me the whole story as I do have patients… But next time I ask how you ended up here, I expect an honest answer.” Jack said, deciding to let go of it for now. “So I take it Frost didn’t tell you his name either?”

Hopp shook her head in response. “No. I would only think he would tell that to his closest advisors. Like how Zarbon only knew of Frieza’s transformation before telling Vegeta.”

“And look how far that got him…” Frieza muttered.

Ignoring the voice in his head, Jack continued to ask questions. “Helena, do you want to return home? I ask you this because I truly want to know.”

“I… don’t know…” She sounded hesitant to reply. “I mean… part of me wants too… but part of me doesn’t. Back home, my parents are divorced and my father was abusive towards the both of us. So even though we might have been taken away from there… anywhere where he isn’t makes us… relieved. But if we go back, then I wouldn’t have any abilities or… well anything to defend ourselves from him.”

“I see… How old are you and your brother?” Jack asks.

“We’re both fourteen. The two of us are twins.”

“Are you really sure about that?” Jack asks to confirm something. “How long have you been on Equus?”

“About… ten months or so… why?” She asked.

“Tell when you became Hopp, were you floating endlessly in an empty void?”

Again, she shook her head. “Not… really. At one point, it felt like we were going very fast from one world to the next… Have you seen those Thor movies? If so, the best example would be the Bifrost.”

“Hmm… Then it’s not by the same person… I think I know everything I need to know from you two for now. My name is Jack, I turned sixteen two months ago and I was imprisoned here by a man who calls himself The Merchant.” Jack replied.

“That… sounds ominous… what did they look like?” She asked. “Because the last person we met before coming here appeared to resemble the secret shopkeeper guy from DOTA 2.”

“The hell is a DOTA?”

“No idea… Let’s just play along for now.” Jack said to Frieza before returning his attention towards the female in front of him. “The man who imprisoned me and my friend said he’s the real deal, but I wasn’t able to see his face, he wore cloak from the Hobbit, but Helena, you and I both know that we don’t belong here… It’s true that life back on earth sucks, but surely there’s something you’ve always wanted to do? A dream?”

“To be honest… any dreams we had were torn to shreds by our father… For me, the only dream I would want is for us to have a better life without him.” She told Jack.

“Well, then if you wish to stay here, living as a slave for the next frost demon that comes your way. I won’t stop you, but as of right now, you and your brother are under my leash. We will gather allies that far exceed Frost’s and crush him under our might, once he’s dealt with, we’ll find a way to get both me and my friend back home.” Jack explained, standing up from his seat and sat next to Helena. “But if you change your mind and wish to return, the door will always be open and sometimes dreams are torn apart, but that’s why you always should find a new dream.”

“No… I don’t want to go back to Frost…” Helena said to him. “He never really cared about who Chappil and I really were… But you… you’re different. You’ve done a lot for my brother and I as it is, so the only thing I think I can do to repay you is to help you achieve your goals.”

“Heh! Don’t kid yourselves… I haven’t done anything in the slightest beside beat you two to a pulp. I spared your lives because you have your uses to me, but I’m not as cruel like your former master. You were able to stand up to me and fight, so you have my respect.”

“Yet, you wouldn’t have had us healed if you didn’t see a purpose for-” At that moment, Hopp froze. Her eyes widening as part of her began to shake. “N-no… I-it can’t be…”

Noticing the look of terror on her face, Jack stood up from the bed, sensing a massive amount of Ki, and it was far greater than Chappil’s and Hopp’s energies. “Whose energy is that?”

“I-it’s him…” Hopp said, her eyes looking rather horrified. “You s-said you were looking for him… Now he’s here.”

“She must mean Frost! Get out there and confront this imposter!!”

“It’s a lot sooner than I anticipated, but I guess better late than never I suppose?” Jack said out loud as he made his way outside, leaving Hopp to remain with her brother. Once he stepped outside, he was met by a blue fist, striking him in the face and sending him crashing into several buildings, before taking flight into the air and made his way towards the center, of town, but he was quickly struck down instantly by a tremendous force. “W-Where the hell is he-”

But before he could even finish his sentence, he was met by a powerful kick that sent him flying into the before feeling a barrage of punches and kicks on all sides, until the beams of energy continued to blast Jack into the ground continuously. “HEHEHE!!! Is this truly all the All Mighty Frieza has to offer? If so, then it truly was a waste of time going into my assault form.”

Picking himself off the ground, the frost demon looked up into the sky and spotted another frost demon, but he his colors were much different from his, having dark blue, black and white instead. His horns and skull were much larger than Jack’s and had a taller frame with muscles that were much larger than his. “Damn… I didn’t think he’d be this strong, but then again he’s in his third form. I’ll have to try and match his strength… Somehow.”

Wiping away the blood from his mouth, Jack began to raise his ki once again at a rapid pace, until he felt his muscles bulge up once again and began to feel his body transform once again, “GRRR….RRAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!” He shouted at the top of his lungs as his body was consumed in a bright light, but it didn’t faze Frost in the slightest as as continued to smirk. Once the light disappeared and the smoke vanished, Jack was now once again in his second form.

“It’s pretty obvious that you’re power level is nowhere near his currently. So unless you can access my full power, then I suggest you play your cards smartly, afterall you have my intelligence and you should be able to hold your own against him so long as he doesn’t nail you with death beams.” Frieza explained to him as he began gritting his teeth at this pretender. “To think that they'd be another frost demon on this wretched planet!”

It was as Jack looked back up at Frost that he also happened to notice something. His hands were adjusting something along his wrists, and whatever it was, it reflected off the light from the sun that was above him. “Wait… Frieza, are you seeing what I am seeing?”

“What are you even referring to right now?”

“His wrists just now… I think he’s hiding something under the bone. Like a weapon.” Jack replied mentally. “If I recall from the show, Frost uses some kind of needle to inject poison, meaning I’ll have to be careful when fighting this bastard, so Frieza any advice that could help?”

“Simple, don’t die!” Was all the frost demon said as Jack groaned in response, muttering how he’d find someway to shut him up, but putting that aside, he flew up into the air and was now face to face with Frost. However the frost demon in front of him didn’t really respond to him as he simply smirked, crossing his arms.

“So your Lord Frost I take it?” Jack asked, glaring at the frost demon in front of him.

“What gave it away?”

“Now there’s no need for sarcasm you know, we can be civilized right?” Jack said, with a cunning grin, to try and persuade Frost to leave. “I mean surely you and I can come to some sort of an agreement so we don’t have to throw fists at each other?”

“Oh we could…” He grinned, before glaring directly at Jack as he had energy begin to form on the ends of his fingers. “OR… I could teach Equus a lesson about what happens when you cross with me by WIPING THIS PATHETIC TOWN OFF THE MAP!!!”

Gritting his teeth, Jack began to form a large sphere of energy in his hands and immediately fired it off in Frost’s direction, causing him to cease his own attack in order to catch the massive orb of energy in his hands, crushing it until it erupted in a massive explosion, surprising Jack. “Why’d that idiot do that?”

“He’s trying to get inside your head and demonstrate that whatever you try to do, nothing would work against him.” Frieza replied back. “However, in doing so, it makes him have to slow down on charging the attack that he wants to pull off in order to stop what you throw at him”

“Tell me something that isn’t obvious… But I guess you’re right about that last bit.” He said to Frieza before waving his hand high into the air and began to form another large sphere of energy and launched it into the cloud of smoke, but this time, Jack made sure to put extra power into that attack. Once it collided, it began to burst creating massive explosion that created a shockwave that began sending ponies that had been watching, flying. But this only angered the frost demon. “COME OUT AND FACE ME COWARD!!!”

Appearing from the smoke, unsceathed Frost flew towards Jack with a smirk across his face, punching in the chest before repeatedly jabbing him in the face, before finally headbutting him, sending him flying before Jack stopped himself midair, but before Jack could do any kind of counter, Frost began flying in at full force. Jack made sure to block the incoming attacks, trying his best to block all of the frost demons punches and kicks, until Frost grabbed hold of his leg with his tail and launched him towards the nearby forest.

Seeing an opportunity, Frost began to power up and fire a large red stream of ki into the forest, setting it ablaze as fire erupted, spreading across the grass and trees. Frost couldn’t help but laugh as he believed he had defeated him. “HA! Too easy, and to think my servants were afraid of you!”

But Frost spoke too soon, as Jack emerged from the flames, hurtling towards the frost demon at blazing speed, before striking him against his skull with his leg, sending him flying backwards as Jack appeared unscathed minus the smoke coming off his skin. “If that’s the best you got, then I should have had my expectations lower than I thought.”

“Hmm… Seems like I’m just gonna have to try harder.” Frost said, glaring at Jack as both frost demons charged towards each other as their great battle was about to truly begin.
