Celestia and Fluttershy finally arrived just as Sunset had cast a gravity magic onto Blacksun which pinned her down. 

Blacksun summoned a barrier to surround her as Fluttershy went to Emberwing's side. "Sorry Celly but this barrier will keep me safe from you sealing me away again she taunted as the tendrils raised up to strike.

There was only one tunnel they could take so they proceeded with care. As they walked, Rainbow's ears twitched, "I think I hear Fluttershy" she said, "I recognise her scared whimpers anywhere". Rainbow took the lead as they went down a few series of tunnels.

"No!, Stay away," a frightened voice said before Sunset's light revealed who it was.

"Fluttershy!" Rainbow called out as she flew up to her before embracing her frightened friend.

The other quickly followed up behind Rainbow. 

"Good to see you're ok" Sunset said as they joined in on the hug.

"What happened?" Pinkie asked as she noticed Fluttershy's tattered clothes.

"Um," Fluttershy began, "I was with another group of students deeper into this cavern. As we started looking around, a strange group of shadows started attacking us. It divided the group up by our genders as it took us girls deeper into the caves. The shadows then started to tear away at our clothes, if it wasn't for Trixie then who knows what might've happened to me. As soon as she freed me from the shadow, I just flew for my life".

"Wow!" Rainbow said stunned, "Trixie actually helping somepony that's not herself? that's a first". 

Sunset turned to Emberwing "we have to find and rescue them", she looked back to Fluttershy, "I don't suppose you remember which way you came from?".

This didn't deter Sunset though, "that's ok" she said reassuring her friend, "I have a spell that might help. While it can't trace your steps, it should help us find the others". Sunset frowned a bit, "the problem is, the nearest one is hazy, like something is cooling the area, chances are, it's the shadow that you ran from".

Rainbow stayed close to Fluttershy as the group started moving, they hoped the others are ok.

It took them a while due to all of the long and winding tunnels but soon they reached a large open area. In one spot, was a large cage with the girls inside, all with various torn or missing clothing. At the other end of the room was Trixie battling a shadow. They found themselves in some sort of canyon.

The group quickly ducked to avoid a magical blast, the blast came from a corrupted Changeling that tried to blast Applejack. 

Sunset, Emberwing and Trixie tried to send a spell back but all that happened was a small sparkle from their horns. 

"Careful everypony" Applejack shouted as she lept out of the way from another blast, "the area is rich in Xrieile Crystals which negates the use of Elieirx based magic. Only Xrieile based magic such as the ones used by Changelings will work here".

Emberwing let out an annoyed "tch!" as Sunset turned to him, he whispered into her ear "my suppressor magic wouldn't work even if we could cast spells, my current level can only suppress Elieirx types". He then turned to Trixie "could you take Fluttershy someplace safe?, Sunset, Rainbow, Pinkie and I will help Applejack".

The Unicorn nodded as the two left the group to hide behind a large rock.

The three then rushed to help Applejack.

No sooner did they join the fray, the changeling changed its attack pattern, no longer was Applejack the main target of its assault as it now targeted Emberwing.

The changeling changed its style as it continued the fight in the air which meant only Emberwing and Rainbow could continue the fight with it.

"Princess?" Emberwing asked hoping she can hear him, "can you take this changeling somewhere" he looked at the girls. "I think my friends would like to deal with her at a later date".

The changeling glowed before it was teleported away from its spot, the glow then surrounded the group as it teleported them to the next bearer of the Elements of Harmony.

"I was running away from the commotion earlier before I took refuge behind a rock, my magic activated letting me know there were some rare and precious gems inside the rock. I was able to acquire them just before Twilight and Starlight used a spell to teleport several students, myself included, to safety". Rarity pulled out one of the gems before handing it to the mare. "When I touched it, I was whisked away to another place before a voice called out to me. It gave me the gem for free seeing as it was the Element of Generosity. The voice then gave me two doors and asked me if I wanted to either leave or continue onwards, I went through a few challenges and for each one, I obtained the gems before I was finally brought back to the Library where Princess Celestia was waiting for me". He paused for a bit, "and to sum up the rest of the story. The Princess used her magic to send me to find the bearers of the elements and one by one, I found the girls as well as saving several students. Helping to repair a barrier as well as finding out a little something about my past".

All of the girls minus Starlight and Twilight knew what he was talking about when Emberwing mentioned the last part.

"Something we'll need your help with," Sunset said to the remaining two mares.

"This appears to be enchanted with a spell designed to specifically return those two back to their world but", she placed her finger in her mouth and gently nibbled on it. "It'll require the magic of a high-level unicorn but," she paused as she looked at Starlight and Sunset. "The only ones here that could do it are the Princesses and their busy or us three", she pointed at herself, Starlight and Sunset. 

Sunset took a small step back, "Sorry but I'd rather not try anything of that level. I'd rather not run the risk of returning back to my old self".

As Emberwing held her tenderly, Twilight spoke up. "Well Starlight and I could cast it but we're low on Elieirx but", her voice perked up a bit. "If all of us pour our Elieirx into one pony then we should be able to activate the spell".

Everyone looked at each other before looking back at Twilight.

"In that case," Starlight said, "you should be the one to perform the spell. You've studied under Princess Celestia the longest so your ability to cast the spell successfully is much better than ours".

The other all agreed.

The Unicorn all formed a circle around Twilight, Emberwing included since he is half Unicorn. The non-Unicorns all surrounded the others as they provided their own form of support.

Twilight concentrated on the crystal as the Unicorns channelled their Elieirx from their horns into Twilight's, as she felt the Elieirx entering her and replenishing her depleted reserves. The two barely had time to react as the crystal zipped between them and opening a portal behind them.

Celestia, however. Teleported herself and the other two to a safe spot.

Seeing this, the two dark sisters turned their attentions towards Emberwing and his group before launching combined magic blast at them.
