The Gamer

What could go wrong when your contact by the developer of an MLP game who is giving you exclusive access to an app. Long story short, I'm stuck in a world not of my own. I just hope I can adapt, because one hit will kill me.

I downloaded a game on my phone which wasn't what I anticipated. Now I'm in an alternate reality of Equestria where I have to protect a sixteen year old Celestia in the most dangerous of environments: high school.

Oh, and I'll die if I get hit, but that's not important.

Day 1: New Game

View Online

School, something I almost never enjoyed going to... towards the end of the year because of the EOC, or End Of Corse tests. I don’t mind everything else, but that almost always sucks because I’m a horrible test taker. I mean... come on! How am I better at homework than test that I’ve studied for? It makes no sense!

Anyways, I’ve been moving this entire school year to different houses... more like just two houses. Custody crap makes no sense to me. As this happened, I kept up with my favorite show, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. It helped me cope with what was happening around me as I integrated into a new life in a different state in the United States.

However, all good things must come to an end and MLP is said to end at its ninth season. I sighed knowing that doing stuff from where it currently isn’t the best place to be. At least they’re keeping the original characters this time and not scraping them to be forgotten.

These were the thoughts keeping me up at night when I needed to go to school the next day. Day in and day out, my mind was preoccupied with trivial thoughts that meant nothing to my life but just to keep me occupied. It annoyed me to no end that my own mind would betray me when I needed the sleep.

I didn’t sleep that night as I was contacted by a game developer. I was confused because I have never contacted him/her before so suddenly sending me a message was kind of surprising. I don’t know him/her and I really don’t have the responsibility to be an officer on the sight, but I decided to humor him/her.

Hello, Fimfiction reader/writer!
You have been randomly selected to test a new app created by me and another coder. We have been keeping this secret for some time now and are currently putting it through its alpha testing. This would be in memorial for the fourth generation of the My Little Pony series, so if you want to test the game click the link below to continue.

Normally, I wouldn’t have even considered clicking it if it was from a random person, but I was considerably bored so I clicked the link. I didn’t hesitate when downloading the app so I could check out this game for myself and see what would happen after I booted it up.

Considering that the app came from the internet and not the App Store, it surprisingly worked well. I was even more surprised when I found the class selection screen. Seeing that it worked was more than enough for me as I plugged in my phone, followed by me plugging up my headphones, and going to sleep. I woke up from two hours later from a nightmare that played with my deepest fear. I groaned and went back to sleep, hoping that nothing would happen it the land of dreams once again.

I did what I normally did when I wake up and that was continued my routine and not to deviate from it. It was the only way I could live. I did break it from time to time, but it wouldn’t be anything big or would be thrown off the schedule that I made for myself. It was what helped me retain some sense of normality after moving.

I got to the bus stop about forty-five minutes early like I normally did and remembered the game that I was introduced to last night. I got it out able to let it boot up once again which I completely regretted as the brightness on the game temporarily blinded me. I whence from the light that assaulted my eyes.

I looked at the game and saw a faceless pony with plated armor and a single glaring eye. The other eye was lightly glowing Brightly from magic, but you could hardly tell from just the first glance. The title appeared in the font that the MLP logo is normally in, but it had vines growing up its base which was a good add on if you ask me. I read the title for a moment and considered what the could be from the title alone; It said ‘Equestrian Hero’.

I was confused until the screen cut to black and a cutscene played before me as it showed the nation of Equestria falling into ruins before a first-person perspective showed, what I assumed, the player walking through a portal into what Equestria was. Confusion was all I could express as more of the gameplay was shown from what I assumed was the developers playing it. Many villains appeared from beginning to end and even some I haven’t seen before. I shrug as I tapped the screen to start. What I first saw was to choose my character's nationality so the classes could be accurate to its homeland, but it doesn’t stop them from exploring other lands. However, they would have to pay an extra fifty percent for anything they buy in other lands. I choose Equestria just because I would know that better than the other nations. Once I did. I immediately scanned the classes that were available and found all I could about the classes before I chose my class.

First was the Earth Ponies. From what I saw they had high physical defense and attack with minimal agility and magical resistance. It seemed to be the most versatile class as it could be more than a tank or a heavy hitter, it could be anything. It even had a unique perk that allowed the class to gain double the amount of money from selling fruits and vegetables. It would start with 2,894 health and 600 Bits.

Next were the Unicorn Ponies. They seemed to be the least versatile but could do a ton of damage if used correctly. It has high magical resistance and attack damage with minimal agility and physical defense. It mostly used long-range spells to attack with little mana usage. They could wield most weapons that weren’t two-handed and could use magic to enhance the base damage of most weapons. The class perk was a seventy-five percent bonus to any none enhancement magic attacks. It started with 981 health and 200 Bits along with four mana potions.

Then was the Pegasus Ponies. They had high agility and defense with minimal attack and magic defense. Obviously, they could fly and walk on clouds to get to their objectives and rest if needed to regain stamina and seemed to be in between versatility compared to the Earth and Unicorn Ponies despite the fact they could only use daggers, pistols, rifles, bows, and crossbows. They would be a great scout class from what I can tell and deal heavy damage with weather attacks. I could choose between Thestral and Pegusas with only the perks being different. The Thestral Ponies could turn invisible at night while the Pegusas Ponies could deal triple damage using weather attacks. It starts with 1,603 health and 350 Bits.

Last was something that shocked me and that was the Alicorn Pony Class. It had the highest out of all of the stats with its highest stat being magical defense and the lowest being physical defense. It could use all weapons and the weapons would have to level up to get to its original damage if used on any other class. Meaning that the weapons won’t do it’s original damage until it was fully leveled up. No other class has to level up their weapons since they immediately get the full damage of the weapons. I guess the developer had to balance out this class with something, but it seemed a little harsh in my opinion. I saw it didn’t have the other perks, but its class perk was called Harmony and Chaos. Harmony and Chaos would cause all enemy damage and attack speed to be reduced by half while increasing health regeneration and defense by ten percent for any at the party. I looked back at the weapons that could be used and saw that they could only use a unique type of weapon called Soul Weapons, not just all weapons. These Soul Weapons were extraordinarily rare and extraordinary powerful, but can not be unequipped by anything unless it’s another Soul Weapon. I looked at what it started with and I was already worried about what I saw. It started with 1 health and 1,000 Bits, but what shocked me was that to balance out only using some of the most powerful weapons in the game; the class doesn’t get any health when they level up and stay at 1 HP throughout the entire game.

With that, I found my class. I was gonna choose the Alicorn class. It would provide an interesting challenge that would be great for me to do. I’m going to creating my character with all the amount of detail I could use. Surprisingly, the game ran like a computer game with the graphics of ‘Infinity Blade’, and that had some damn good graphics for a phone game.

My avatar was a dark gray Alicorn with large feathery wings for the ten percent weather damage and a twenty percent speed bonus and an obvious longhorn. The wings were mostly black until it got to the edge of the feathers that transitioned from black to red and then from red to orange. I didn’t know that was an option until I did it with trial and error... a lot of error. My character had a black mane with a red and orange streak running through it with the eyes being orange as well. My character’s Cutie Mark was a musical note with a sword crossing over it. It gave my character the perks of sword skill that gave my character five percent more damage while the music note would allow my character to play music to gain more bits if I need them. As I level up, they would get better as well. My character’s name was Iron Melody because I felt like it and it fit the Cutie Mark. His attire was simple as it was a simple black sweater with the Cutie Mark on the back, black sweatpants, and black boots. I took a screenshot of my character because I was proud of my work and I wanted to attempt to do the same thing with the other classes when I got the chance.

I completed the character creation and went on to the difficulty level and found the only options being Easy, Normal, Hard, and Nightmare. Easy would reduce enemy’s health and attack by half, Normal did nothing to the enemies or character, Hard increased enemy’s attack and damage by half, and Nightmare was the craziest of all with the enemy’s health being increased ten times the normal amount while the enemy’s attack twenty times the normal amount. Not only that, but it would reduce Experience Points, EXP, by seventy-five percent. That wasn’t it if you die in Nightmare difficulty, it deletes all progress and takes all the items you earned and has a fifty percent chance at erasing the save file and character entirely. To any else, this would be too hard and not worth it, but since I’m a masochistic idiot with no life outside of video games, I choose Nightmare difficulty.

With all that completed, I started the game... but I had to get off once my bus got to my stop, so I paused it and got one. This could go one of two ways, this is a great game with a great story or its a complete piece of shit with a horrible story. For me, there is no gray area when it comes to games with this much detail.

After school I rushed to complete my two projects and one I haven’t even started because I was procrastinating. I had two weeks to do it and I procrastinated the entire time, but luckily all I had to do at that point was to print everything out and hand it in. I was so lucky that I had such easy projects to complete. What I wasn’t so lucky with was that I had to do it over spring break when my grandparents were with us.

I eventually got bored writing on Fimfiction which lead me back to the game which restarted much to my annoyance. ‘Fucking Biology and English homework keeping me from playing this game.’ I thought as I luckily still had the character I made. Saving at the beginning of a game was something a lot of games should do because I lost way too many characters to shit like that.

Immediately as the character appeared along with the world, I was given the option to play in third person or first person. I was so glad that I was playing in third person because so much was going on that I thought my phone was going to crash, but it didn’t freeze, crash, or force my phone to go back to the home screen.

It wasn’t played horizontally like most games like this, but you played it like you were texting someone. All I had was the movement button on the left side of the screen. I couldn’t attack as the battle raged on all around my avatar as he just barely dodged an attack from an enemy before he was forced back by a soldier. I was given the ability to dodge with a moment of slow-motion while the tutorial while the game told me that I could dodge with the movement buttons by swiping in the direction I wanted to dodge.

Instead of fighting, I decided to run out of fear of losing my character already so early in the game. The game went into slow motion again gibbing me another tutorial moment as it said that I could disable the movement buttons in favor of options to head to the place I want to go and move when I want to dodge or when in fights. I was in awe of the many features that this game had. Now I didn’t have to move the character so I could dodge if I needed it.

Unfortunately, that moment of awe got me killed in the game which I was given the option to restart without fear of having my character die. My character began to run again as I focused at all my surroundings and dodged at the right time... until a delayed weapon I tried to dodge killed me once again.

Apparently, this game is giving me an infinite response in the tutorial which would make perfect sense. The tutorial is a good help when you die as this class because you can fight hard and live longer due to the agility being maxed out. That and it would be unfair to those who chose the class and continuously die in the tutorial. This gave me relief that I could learn the game and have no fear of having my game deleted if I die in the tutorial.

I continued once again as my character’s running continued to the point where I actually got to the first actual cutscene with a Royal Guard. What I didn’t expect was to have the ability to type my text instead of having a short one or two options to choose from. How would anyone know what the hell was going on if they haven’t played the game and this moment could give you a ton of information about the lore of the game?

I couldn’t resist and I needed new information on this game and I needed to know how and why this happened. Any and all information is useful when dealing with a possible world-ending threat... like Ardyn Izunia from ‘Final Fantasy 15’ or the Soul of Cinder in ‘Dark Souls 3’.

The game chooses this time to ask me what it wanted my tag to be which I put in my OC’s that other players would recognize if I played on any platform. Damn, this game is awesome and the graphics are realistic enough for me to feel like this is an actual world and not a game.

What the hell is going on here?!’ I typed as a bubble appeared above my head showing the text that was just written. The guard looked confused as I saw his eyes flash to the speech bubble before coming back down to rest on me.

“You don’t know? After Trek escaped, all of the enemies of Equestria followed suit to help themselves to his spoils of this invasion. I wouldn’t be surprised that you didn’t know. Equestria was quite sheltered before the invasion and there are still some that don’t fully comprehend what’s going on. Anyways, the Elements went to stop him and failed. Eris betrayed us and eventually became one of Trek’s victims in the end. We were able to modify the Time Travel spell that was created by Star Swirl.” The guard explained and it seemed there was a solution to this oddly convenient timing.

“The spell is up and running sir! Are you ready!” Another guard yelled to his superior as he looked around to the flaming city that was covered in the corpse of both allies and enemies. The screen went through the destroyed streets of this unknown town as he looked back at my character.

“This spell is a one-way travel spell and I’m needed her to help defend. Go in my place and please... please prevent all this from happening.” The text box appeared as I typed my answer once again with the answer being ‘Okay’. He smiled and lead me over to a swirling distortion floating in front of me. It was transparent and seemed to warp anything that was behind in as if it was twisting the entire world behind it. “Good luck and you can see what’s at stake.” With that, I was pushed into the portal where my character’s body had a staggering effect next to my health bar.

I stopped the game and saved my progress so I didn’t have to do all that again before I found a safe place and turned it off. The last thing I remember was my character at the edge of a forest of some kind and in some kind of meadow so I can remember where I was in the game.

I paused for a moment as I remembered another project I had to do which was to rewrite a song as a Shakespearean sonnet. A long pause came from me as I remembered that was due tomorrow and I needed to get it done. “Oh crap! I forgot about this project!” With that, I went online to find all I needed to know when it came to the Sonnet. I rushed to complete it with luck on my side as I already have one song in my head and all I needed was one more which I could choose from a long list of my favorite songs. I was thinking of using something county and that reminded me of Georgia.

(Equestria — third person)

A butter-yellow mare was walking around the edge of the Everfree Forest to see if she could find any animal that would be in need of her help. Her soft eyes were inviting to anyone who looked in them and held such innocent that she was considered an ‘angel in pony skin’. Because of this, she had others that would unknowingly watch out for her so no one could take advantage of her kindness. She was completely oblivious to those who would use her for their own pleasure. What made her stand out was her choice of clothing that practically clung to her skin as she just felt so safe in them that she could feel comfortable to walk out into public.

She did not know what to expect when she was patrolling the edge of the Everfree until she found an unconscious black unicorn lying on the ground. He had an orange and red striped running through his jet black mane. He had an amazing longhorn that was easily three times larger than a normal horn. He was face down with what seems to be a hunched back that had a black jacket with red trimming around the hem of the jacket along with orange netting within the hood. He had black boots and black sweet pants that had orange on the hemming.

The mare was confused by the stallions predicament as almost everypony knew that the Everfree was too much of a dangerous place to travel through. He didn’t move nor did he seem to be breathing which she took as a bad sign. She checked his pulse and found a steady healthy beat of the heart and even heard him snoring lightly.

The butter-yellow mare sighed in relief before picking up the stallion who was asleep. She then noticed that he was taller than her by a lot and could possibly be as tall as the princess if he stood up straight. She was surprised by his height until she heard the flapping of wings from somewhere around her as a rainbow streak from the sky landed next to her.

This newcomer caused the rainbow streak from her speed alone as she practiced to achieve her life long dream. She was bold and tomboyish in her actions which put off some stallions that came close to her and began to see her as another stallion the longer they would hangout. From her form, you could tell that she was built for speed and agility in the air. She wore a light blue tracksuit that was just darker than her fur so most could tell the difference. This mare is also childhood friends with the caring mare that was helping the stallion. This blue mare would also look out for the naive butter-yellow mare to keep those who want a one night stand and were targeting her for said purpose. What she didn’t expect was that her friend would be carrying an unconscious stallion back to her cottage.

“Umm... Shy, why do you have that stallion with you?” The blue mare said to the caring one. Confusion was clearly evident on her face from this new male.

“I found him unconscious on the border of the Everfree Rainbow Dash.” The mare responded to the blue mare that was now known as Rainbow Dash.

“First, Fluttershy, I told you that you can call me Dash; I’m cool with it. Second, what is the real reason your carrying him.” Rainbow Dash got a sudden and mischievous thought as she smiled slyly at Fluttershy. “Oh I see, you have a coltfriend and didn’t want to tell me.” Fluttershy’s face went into a deep shade of raid as she used both hands to cover her foal hood friend’s mouth.

“N-NO!!! It's NOT LIKE THAT!!!” What the embarrassed mare forgot was the stallion who was currently unconscious who fell on the ground face first and his butt high in the air. She then covered her own mouth from her shouting once she remembered the stallion was still asleep.

“Oh crap! I’m sorry Shy I didn’t mean to do that! H-here, let me help you!” She grabbed one side of the stallion while Fluttershy grabbed the other before Rainbow Dash realized how tall he actually was. “W-Whoa. He’s tall. I think taller than Big Mac.” They stopped the talking knowing that the male needed to go somewhere to wake up on his own. They went to Fluttershy’s cottage where they could let him rest while Rainbow Dash got some doctors for the strange male.

Fluttershy stayed with the stallion as he slept on her only bed. She looked over his clothes once more and saw they were dirty and seemed to be burned in some parts while some parts were covered in ash, but what shocked her was that he seemed to have some dried blood on him.

She took off his jacket and went to clean it in a washing machine. She was unsure about the blood but found that it was in just random droplets showing that he was most likely a witness who whatever was killed. She examined the clothing further before she found the symbol of a sword crossed with an eighth note behind the blade. She shook her head from the weird symbol on the back, most likely thinking it to be the unicorns Cutie Mark, before putting it in the watching machine after making sure it didn’t have to be dry cleaned.

She went back to the male to find him smiling in his sleep as Fluttershy walked in to check and see if he had a fever. What actually happened when she tried was that she was grabbed by the unicorn before pulling her into the bed and holding her close like a stuffed animal. She blushed at the action before realizing that he was really warm and relaxed. She was lost in her own little world as she slowly inched closer to the sweet embrace that is sleep. She saw a window that leads into a meadow with a single tree on the only hill for miles around.

She was taken from her dream as she felt what she thought was two more arms wrap around her which caused her subconscious to pull her dream self away from the window. Groggily, she looked out the window and saw that It slowly went tonight as she heard the front door opened and the sound of a well-known nurse and Rainbow Dash followed suit. When she checks to see if the unicorn was alright, she saw a large, black feathery wing over her side which caused her to jump out her bed and scream.

The sound of feet hitting the floor as it got closer to the bedroom echoed through the normally silent home as the shy mare stared in awe at what she was seeing. Everything moved in slow motion to her as her thoughts clouded her mind from the reality before her. Many thoughts ran through her head at this seemingly impossible pony that was currently sleeping in her bed without a care in the world. She then realized what happened an hour earlier when he grabbed her in his sleep and held her close before he had that content smile on his face. She knew that she did that with Rainbow Dash when they were younger and she had very vivid nightmares when she would sleep.

“What happened Shy?! Did he do anythi-holy Buck!” Rainbow yelled as she saw the stallion that was sleeping on the bed. They now know why he was so tall and why his horn was so long; he was an Alicorn.

They weren’t aware of an invisible connection between him and an interdenominational being known as a human that was currently sleeping in the same pose as the Alicorn. The human teen didn’t know what the alpha test was really for as he turned and unknowingly covered himself in the same black wing his Avatar had in the game. The next day would be hell for all of them as they realize that something was wrong... in both worlds.

(Equestria— third person)

The day has finally come as the sun rose above the horizon while the nurse contacted the authorities to help figure out why there was a male Alicorn. Many guards looked at the stallion with trepidation as if he was gonna wake up at any time.

Fluttershy looked at the stallion from afar and was afraid to come close due to what happened hours earlier in the night before. Her mind raced on what happened during that night as she looked at the Alicorn that could quite possibly be taller than the princesses. She hid the majority of her face in her mane while the night's prior events played through her head as a blush came to her face. She didn’t understand why she didn’t leave the stallion’s side immediately, but she only knew that that stallion had a nightmare that same night.

As the investigation went on to see where the seemingly comatose Alicorn came from and why he left. That all came to a stop as the sound of armor hitting the floor came from the main room and down the hallway. Outside the bedroom was the majority of the guards bowing to their leader who was making her way to the male Alicorn. She had a rainbow-like mane and tail that flowed in a nonexistent wind as she went on her normal daily routine. Her dress was pearl white dress that had little to no wrinkles as she walked calmly to the room where their unexpected visitor was currently at. She was a wise yet majestic ruler that had the longevity of a god and the power to raise and lower the sun and moon on command. She didn’t jump to conclusions too often, but would occasionally when she was in a state of distress or fear which rarely happened in the past thousand years. Especially afterward her parents punished her by putting her in stasis for the thousands of years her sister would be away. Her parents decided to bring her back to teach her a lesson on fixing your own mistakes, but the elements wouldn’t respond to her so she asked her parents to help her find new bearers.

She walked through the wooden doors of the main, and only, bedroom in the cottage to see the stallion in all his glory lying on the bed. He was no longer wearing his all-black attire, but instead, he had blue and white plaid pajamas on. His face showed signs of peace and comfort as he lied there without a care in the world.

“P-P-P-Princess Celestia!” Fluttershy practically yelled as she went into a kneeling position with respect to the monarch of the nation.

“There’s no need to bow. I’m only here to scan this Alicorn the guards have reported seeing.” She looked at him and felt his magic. It was strong, but most of it seemed to be locked away in some sort of barrier within him. She then scanned his soul to find his intentions, motives, and personality. She only blinked in confusion as she cast the spell with a flash of light and no results that could be felt or seen. “He’s... a puppet.”

“A puppet?” Fluttershy was confused as the guards raised their spears at the soulless being on the bed.

“A puppet is someone that is artificially created by a powerful mage. I’ll scan to find this puppets creator.” Another flash of light and she blinked in confusion once again. “I felt the creator's intentions and their motives and they are in distress. His motives are nothing but thinking this is a game that he created this ’avatar’ for.”

“He sees this world as a game?!” A guard asked as he prepared to impale the stallion. The princess stopped the guard from killing this stallion prematurely.

“From what I can tell, there are a plethora of games that are like that. He can’t tell if the game is real or not, but I cannot punish him for something he is unaware of.” She thought for a second as she knew one way for him to be pardoned from his unintentional lawbreaking action. “I can pull him from his world to ours so he can merge with his current puppet. That way it can be seen as a ‘reincarnation’ of sorts.” Her horn flared to life as the spell slowly activated to take her to that world and to bring him back. “I’ll be back.” With a third bright flash and a loud pop this time, she vanished from the face of the planet.

Day 2: Problems

View Online

The day seemed like normal for me as I woke up at five A.M. in the morning like I did everyday. I sighed and cracked my back, fingers, wrists, and neck to get the stiffness out of them while most of my mental focus was to try and stay awake. It was Wednesday so I had ROTC in the morning and drill would be a pain in the ass for the first hour and a half.

When I tried to put on my undershirt I realized that I didn’t have my pajama shirt on or anything on my upper body. I was confused, but thought I took it off in a drowsy state when it got too hot for me to sleep comfortably... wouldn’t be the first time. I looked down at my chest and saw that it was still crooked from one side of the sternum growing faster than the others, and made me self conscious about wearing something over my torso at all times to hide it. It was one of the main reasons I wear a shirt all the time... even when I swim. I shook my head from the bad thoughts that tried to inch their way into my mind and tried to put the undershirt on.

Only to feel severe discomfort from my back as the shirt just passed the top of the shoulder blades as my mind tried to think of the possibilities. The uncomfortable feeling was short lived as I removed the shirt from my body and rolled my neck; thinking that the discomfort came from it pushing up that. I tried once again to put the plane white shirt on which resulted in the same discomfort appearing again. I growled as I went to the bathrooms mirror to see what the hell was wrong with me and preventing me from getting a grade for the uniform inspection in ROTC. What I saw was both amazing and terrifying as I was in complete shock at the new appendages on my body.

They were my character’s wings exactly from the size to the colors and to the transition from black to red to orange at the end of the feathers. I tried to move them to no avail which made me think that it was some convoluted prank on me for my small obsession over the My Little Pony series; but when I tried to pull them off, nothing happened and all I did was send waves of pain through my body as the cold, hard truth dawned on me... they were real. There was no way to get rid of them in time for school and I needed to head out soon.

However, I couldn’t help but be vocal at this new development that suddenly appeared on my body. “WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING OOOOOOOON!!!” I yelled in a completely freak out moment as I began to hyperventilate while lights from all around the apartment turned on as my brother, dad, and step mom woke up.

“What with all the yelling huuuuoooooly crap!” My brother exclaimed as I was now in a ball on the floor with my new wings covering me from the need to try and hide myself from the rest of the world.

“What’s... wrong.” My dad trailed off after seeing my new wings. “What happened? Are you pranking us?” I looked appalled at him as I began to have a panic attack and breathed heavily to calm my self. He immediately retracted that question after seeing that I was not messing around. “Well go to the doctor and figure this out.”

“Is... is something else going to happen?” I know what I was doing was child like, asking if I was alright when I knew I wasn’t, but I needed some sort of reassurance reassurance.

“No... nothing else is gonna happen buddy. Your fine, your fine.” Dad comforted me as I slowly calmed down and preventing a panic attack from beginning so early in the morning. “Well head to the doctors office now and see if they can fix you.” I nodded before standing up and walking to the car with a bit of difficulty since my wings didn’t fit through the door.

I had to walk sideways through the door and down the stairs to get to the ground below and soon came another question... how would I fit my wings in the car. They had to strap my wings to my body so I could fit inside and go to the hospital to figure out what in the actual fuck is going on.

When we got to the hospital, we went to the emergency room to see if they would be more urgent with me. I had a shirt on to hide my wings which caused many patients, doctors, and nurses to look at us questioningly or annoyed. I shrunk away from the flares and questioning looks we received from my obvious hunched back. Luckily, a woman in a nurse’s scrubs came to use with a caring look that put me at ease as they got closer and closer.

“Excuse me sir. Is their an immediate problem?” She asked my dad before he looked at me expectantly as I knew what he wanted me to do or having them think were crazy. For a while I didn’t dare to do a thing because I felt all eyes on me causing my anxiety to flare up and for me to freeze entirely.

I eventually felt someone tap my shoulder as I looked to them for help, only for my eyes to land on my dad who wanted me to show her. “It’s alright buddy. No ones gonna make fun of it.” My dad said calmly to reassure me in this decision.

I took a deep breath in and another out before repeating the process many times as my nerves were beginning to calm down. I pulled up my shirt until it was completely off me and my wings finally broke out of their bindings and stretched to their full length. I was still unsure on how I even got such appendages and the fact I have them gave me a sense of xenophobia from all that is happening.

“W-What the hell happened!” She looked at my wings as I instinctively folded them back. We all looked at one another to see if anyone wound give an answer to the question we were asked.

I ultimately shrugged my shoulder since we didn’t know how in the whole wide world how this even happened; much less where it came from. With that, she led us to an examination room where a doctor could look at what is happening and, hopefully, find a reason why this was happening. I was now much less scared of the wings themselves and more scared of how they appeared, overnight I might add, and if what caused it would kill me.

The walk was short and relatively close to the exit while I got into a patient’s gown for the quick examination. Pain was pretty much nonexistent except for the fact I tried to pull them off, but that was more of me not believing what I was seeing with my own two eyes. With the fact I was practically naked in nothing but my damn underwear and that greenish blue gown that almost everyone wears when having a check up, it was cold as fuck and at times felt unbelievable.
I was shaking the entire time and it took a ton of my own will power to keep my self from shaking.

Eventually, another woman in a doctor’s uniform walked into the room with her face studying the clipboard in front of her with little belief on what the file might have said. That would be the case until she finally looked up to get a tiny glimpse at me before focusing on the clipboard once again, and then her head shot up faster than I could comprehend as she studied the impossibility that is my wings.

“I... wha... how... I can see why the nurse said this was urgent.” She said while thinking of the right words to say to not freak me out. “So any pain or any feeling in them at all?” I guess that makes the first question in what I assumed to be a long Q&A session.

“I can feel them, but there was a bit of pain when I didn’t believe that they were real. I tried to pull them off which resulted in a ton of pain.” I responded while trying to find out if I can move them. This, however, ended in me slapping my self in the face with them before I groaned in mild agony. “Then there’s that.” I could hear a few stickers from around me.

“Well, I’m gonna do a few test and see if there’s any response.” Thankfully she stayed to the and of the wing before trailing them back to my back, but when she touched the base of the wing; a blush formed on my face and my wings shot out.

“W-W-What was t-th-that?” I said in a stutter while quelling my growing arousal from the sudden overwhelming sense of pleasure.

“My guess was that it may be an intimate spot for the wings causing a sense of pleasure. The base may be similar to that of a sexual organ. So that’s something that will need some protection from now on.” She got up and, much to my surprise, beckoned me over to the door before closing it so no one else can hear. “Look, we’re going to see if you have anything keeping it attacked to your body. If not we can remove them, but if they are; they’ll have to stay and we’re gonna have to report this to the government... understand?” I nodded at a loss for words at this point.

Began to walk deeper into the hospital while I focused on trying to make my new wings move just a tad bit before actually trying to use them. It may be short lived if the government finds out and could possibly use me as a soldier, but I doubt they would do that because of the possible public outcry.

That actually came to mind when it came to alien movies and why the government treats them with open hostility instead of kindness. Wouldn’t the government benefit from an alliance with aliens and not possibly ruin possible friends and new knowledge of the universe. It doesn’t makes sense when you think about the government attacking an alien on sight, but it does make sense that they would be questioned for their intentions and possibly set up a treaty before they are introduced to the public. This begs the question of why do people think the government would dissect the alien to learn more about it, but that’s a whole new level of xenophobia.

“Hey.” I blinked rapidly to get myself out of my deep and random thought subject when it originally began on my wind. “Are you alright?” I nodded while we waited for the X-rays to be done for someone who was already in the room.

“Yeah, just thinking of a stereotype that makes no sense.” I responded while sitting in a chair with my wings feeling a lot of discomfort. I used a hand to open my wings and found that the feathers were in a mess and needed to be straightened... mostly because of my OCD. “Umm... do you mind helping me?” She looked at me adjusting the feathers as she opened my other wing and began to follow what I did.

“Why are we doing this?” She straightened out a feather as I pulled out a broken one and examined it after realizing that what I was doing right now was preening. Like a fucking bird.

“From what I can remember, this is called preening. It allows birds to clean their feathers somehow and straighten them. For me it helps relieve unwanted discomfort.” I straightened the last on on my side as she looked at me expecting me to help her, but I wanted to see if I did mine right before I did anything. Luckily, all I messed up was a single feather which I immediately straightened before I helped her with my other wing. This one seemed to be more difficult than the rest as I had trouble moving some feathers to their correct position.

Eventually, my wings were straightened and I felt like a million bucks. My wings felt so great now that they were back to being properly straightened. Luckily, when we finished, a duo walked out with a few X-ray scan things before we walked in with our expressions high. I was just trying to see how or why this happened to me and didn’t transfer to my family while I’m sure the doctor wanted to know if this new limbs were natural or not. I can tell she wanted to see if these have any attach meant to me.

We did the scans with me being told by the doctor to turn left, turn around, and then to the right. What we found shocked us as we saw that the shoulder blades were half the length of what they use to be and had two extra bones connected to the collar bones. One going from underneath the shoulder blades that connected to the main wing bones that surprised me and the doctor.

“We can’t remove them without having to remove your shoulder blades and that wouldn’t help anyone in this situation. In other words, they’re staying.” She said as we walked out and I began my mission to try and move my wings once again to the point where I could at least extend my wings on command. When we entered the examination room with my family waiting, they were worried while I now seemed more indifferent to the situation. “They’re staying. It would be more harm than good if we remove them.”

“That and I don’t mind now. It might be fun learning to get to school without a car or the bus.” I responded as we were led to the front desk and paid for the examination. When we left I brought up the current problem that needed to be dressed. “How am I gonna get to school?” It was a vary good question.

“Good question.” His dad responded before looking back at him and noticing two more changes. “When did you have a red and orange streak in your hair?” He paused as two fluffy, animal like ears and a tail appeared. The tail had the same streak going through it while the ears were the exact color of his hair, jet black. “Never mind.” All that could be seen/felt through the rear view mirror. Fuck my life.

With cuts in my jacket, shirt, and pants, I went to school with intense anxiety as my parents zoomed away to drop off my little brother. I walked into the front office with trepidation and as inched my way forwards to the office to see if they would even let me in like this. All I had to do was play it like it happened a while ago... even if yesterday was Tuesday.

“Why is this so hard now? Is it because it’s first period?” Then I remembered that I could just walk to my first period since they haven’t checked attendance. It pays to know when the class and school does their normal thing.

I walked passed the office and to a closed gate that had a pad lock on it before I attempted to fly over it... only for my to go flying into the air. Obviously, I screamed as I fell and used my wings to glide or do anything that was remotely close to save my life. I crashed on the pavement where a few students were making their way to class and were completely late.

“Stupid, fucking wings!” I yelled before getting up and limping to my class; ignoring the amazement plastered on everyone’s face as they saw me.

I flapped them less forcefully to try and get some lift, but I stayed on the ground. I had an idea that could possibly allow me to not have to walk up the ramp like I normally do as I initiated a light jump that cleared the railing on the risen platform that had the portables. From there I went to the fifth portable, or the third one on the left, and knocked on the door. I did the same thing I did to get over the railing to get to the roof and sit down as the Sargent walked out with confusion. I took a deep breath which he definitely heard before I called out to him.

“Before you look up, don’t freak out.” He turned to me with confusion before his eyes widened at the near impossible climb up to the roof. I know he saw my wings as his eyes widened even further.

“Get down here boy and take those wings off!” He commanded as she ordered me to get down which I did, but I refused to cause unnecessary pain for him to be satisfied. “I said—,” He was cut off as I extended a wing and flapped it lightly. “Go inside and explain this.” He walked in with surprise etched across his face as I followed closely behind.

I folded my wings as close as they could to walk through the door which caused me to concentrate completely on that while I walked. The expression of strain and heavy concentration completely evident as it felt like my wings would break at any moment. I released a breath I didn’t know I was holding as my wings went back to their folded, yet relaxed, position. No one seemed to notice as they were still on their phones waiting for the bell to ring and signal the start of the class. I sighed knowing they were on social media like Snapchat or Facebook which I rarely use now. The most I’ve ever used social media was when I wrote stories on Wattpad or Fimfiction to help express my ideas and release pent up anger.

“Sorry I’m late.” I said as the CO looked at me for a brief moment before returning to her phone like what she saw was an everyday sight. That was before her head shot back up with widened eyes as she jumped at my new appearance and newly styled hair. I waved uncomfortably was the rest noticed her expression and looked at me for a moment before some laughed at my predicament causing me to ruffle my feathers uncomfortably. “Please stop.” I squeaked as my anxiety welled up within me once again.

“But you look so stupid. What, are you a stupid cosplayer?!” I scowled at him before smiling with the intention to get him back for that.

We left the portable to practice drill, but I had to sit out due to my new wings that I was slowly starting to learn to use. I flipped them harder that I did to get the higher jump, but not hard enough to send me flying high into the sky. I was slowly lifting off the ground and out of sight of my platoon before I saw a cloud that was hanging low and wanted to see if I could move it. I flipped my wings as hard as I could’ve and shot off into the sky with a resounding bang. When I looked down, a shockwave of black, red, and orange shot in all directions before I flew straight through a cloud. I exited it in a daze and flapped them with the force I used to get off the ground as I slowly went down. On my way I grabbed a cloud and stiffened my wings as I went into a free fall before pulling into a dive where I was above the unsuspecting asshole. I tried to stand on it, which it somehow completely worked, before I jumped on it repeatedly which resulted in him being drenched in a down poor of my own creation. I didn’t care if he was in uniform; he was an asshole who didn’t take things seriously.

“Real enough for you fuck face?” I snakily responded which resulted in him growling at me. I moved away from the angry teen with the cloud in my arms to take a nap in the same cloud.

I couldn’t take a nap because I was just staring at the sun with nothing to cover it, so I decided to pay the Colonel a visit to see how the drill team was doing. I looked over the cloud and went lower for a better view of the team and the exercises that they normally do. They were just stretching to keep themselves from cramping when they marched. “Colonel!” I yelled as he looked over in my general direction to try and find me. “Up here!” He looked up and found me on my extremely comfy cloud. I was at the most seven feet off the ground so I wasn’t to scared with this as I normally am when I’m high up.

“What and how are you doing that Private?!” He yelled in shock as he looked at me with amazement before I extended my wing to show that I had the right equipment to fly up and snag this cloud. “Do you know how to use them?” I shrugged for a moment before giving him the rundown of what I know.

“They showed up today with no explanation or pain so I can’t tell you that, but I’m learning to at least get off the ground with them.” I scratched my scalp with confusion as I tried to think of a way to explain what I’ve been doing. “So far I learn how to extend my jumps, hover of the ground, and launch myself into the sky with no restraint. I’m all over the place sir.” I hopped off the cloud and gave a flap to soften the landing, but, unfortunately, I launched myself into the sky before I went into a controlled dive and entered a glide once more.

I landed roughly as my heels dug into the ground causing me to begin a roll that wasn’t controlled. I ended up with my face in the dirt and my ass in the air while a groan exited my lip. At the time, pain was my life as I had a mouth full of dirt and grass from the ground.

I planted a hand onto the ground and slowly lifted my head up. I was slow to not aggravate the pain I was already in by my actions. Coughing up the dirt and grass from my unintentional crash landing, I looked at the small squad and said, “Still working on the landing.” I immediately left to clean out the horrible taste from mouth.

(Earth — third person)

Celestia watched the teen fail so tremendously at the landing and laughing to herself at the teens folly when it came to landing. She was worried about doing this and was thinking of a way to take him and explain the situation until one thought came to her mind.

She watched as he went off to a large two story building that had a logo of a snarling wildcat on the side of it. She couldn’t see whet he was doing, but a few of his classmates could see he was cleaning out his mouth by filling his mouth with water and spitting it out to clear out the dirt. After a few minutes of him repeating the action continuously, she walked out of the building with a disgust expression. She guessed because he got a mouth full of dirt from his crash landing and instant karma.

In a moment of action, she flew down and snatched the human boy up by his right wrist and flew to where everyone in the area could see her. The entire time the young man was trying to get out of her grip until he saw who she was. Princess Celestia Of Equestria was holding him off the ground and she didn’t look pleased. ”HEAR ME MORTALS AND HEED MY WARNINGS!!!” She yelled in her Royal Canterlot Voice to address the students. Students, teachers, and staff ran out to see the goddess like bing that had the features of an animal with a pissed off expression. ”I DO NOT WISH TO COME HERE AGAIN TO RECTIFY A MISTAKE THAT THIS ONE HAS SUFFERED!!!” Celestia held up the teen and everyone saw his irregular ears, hair, and obviously wings. ”IF THIS SHALL HAPPEN AGAIN; I WILL SEND A FORCE TO END THIS TRAVESTY AND KILL THY OFFENDER FOR ACTS AGAINST NATRAL LAW!!! AM I UNDERSTOOD!?!” Celestia received many nodding heads for her response as they were in complete shock from this new creature ordering the person, who altered the lone teen, to stop. ”IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN BALANCE, I WILL HAVR TO TAKE THIS ONE WITH ME! NOW BEGON AND SPREAD THE WORD THAT THOSE WHOM HAVE BEEN PLAYING GODDESS ARE NOW BEING HUNTED FOR THEIR CRIMES AGAINST THIS STALLION!!!”

With all the excitement gone and many students recording the events in front of them, she vanished into thin air to return to where she came from. Celestia was pleased with her self as she did a good job to play the goddess in that situation to get them to understand or to agree out of fear. From what he look like compared to the rest of his race, she didn’t seem to far off and the fact that he was in distress earlier. He may have been scared out of his mind at this point, so she made a mental note to show her mother to tell them the situation.

(Equestria — third person)

The teen was still in shock as he was trying his hardest to come up with an explanation to explain what just happened. Eventually, he felt unbearable pain flare through his body as he let off an unholy screech of pain as it felt even more intense than his worst injury. Each second felt like a new wound opened itself and closed itself repeatedly until it got wider and more painful or just felt like a part of him was cut off. He screamed his head off from the pain until his voice was horse and even tried to continue after that until it disappeared all together. Eventually, his eyes closed and he felt the last of his body disappear as a bright light could be visible through his eyelids.

As the trip through the dimensional gate was coming to an end, she felt his body brake down until she felt an orb like ball in her grasp. She heard his screams and his wails for it to stop. Her heart broke from the knowledge that she was practically killed him. Each and every fiber of her bing was focused on trying to get out that she forgot about the passenger with her for a second. Eventually, they found their way back into Fluttershy’s room where the soul immediately forced its way into the puppet and allowed it to become the teens new body.

The body shrunk a little from six foot five to six foot even and his wings grew to have each wing be ten feet long while a pair of rectangular glasses appeared on his muzzle. His well built frame shrunk to one that almost seemed malnourished and was frail. His rapid change frightened the occupants of the room and shock them since they expected someone stronger to take the puppets place and not someone weaker... much weaker.

On the side of the bed was a bag that seemed to be filled with miscellaneous items that weren’t harmful in the slightest, but the guards still scavenged his bag for anything dangerous. They found books, books, and more books from the teen’s bag, but despite the noise they were making, the Alicorn was still sound asleep; however, he seemed to be tossing and turning more that he originally was. The occupats of the room were amazed and terrified that this artificial Alicorn was actually having nightmares. They didn’t want to know what was causing them to fear him to be moving so much, especially if it was an Alicorn whom was the one with the fear. The guards went back to searching his bag until they found a long wire like object that had a connector attached to it so it could be plugged into the wall. They found note cards with a strange language written on it along with a picture, a calculator, a few dull plastic pencils, and another book labeled with the same weird language.

Celestia recognizes the strange writing from the Equestrian original dead language that could be found in the archives and in some libraries around Equestria. She personally took it to show her mother that this being was fully capable of something other than destruction.

Everyone’s musings were disrupted by a loud scream coming from the lone Alicorn stallion in the bed. His nightmare got worse, but he seemed trapped, like he couldn’t escape from his own dreams and those screams were not one of horror or fear... it was one of death as if he had been killed in his own dreams. Little did they know that his nightmare was actually a lucid dream, but it was based off of ‘Alien: Isolation’ and he was continuously dying because he refused to grab the flamethrower.

Celestia groaned from the screams as he had done it more times than she had initially thought he would and used a silencing spell. He still screamed, but no one could hear it; however, she had to use three times the magic she normally uses when trying it on literally anything else, even Lightning.

“Excuse me, ma’am, we have found no dangerous items in his bag except for a while, rubber like wire, but it seems it is used for something else. What shall we do?” The leader of the small squad asked as Celestia had already thought this out Thoroughly.

“Please inform Queen Solis that we will be arriving with an important guest and to set up a room for him. We will arrive within the hour.” The guards picked up the unconscious stallion, who was no longer screaming, and carrying him over to the royal carriage that Pegasi were strapped to by ropes and harnesses.

They lied him down with Fluttershy watching with bated breath as they loaded in the artificial Alicorn into the carriage with care. She couldn’t help but be scared as the carriage took off with one of the princesses that was more widely known. All she could do was silently pray for the safe flight that the stallion would have alongside the others, but she felt her worry being drawn more towards the male. She saw his face when he snuggled up against her after a nightmare and that smile he had made her heart flutter as a crimson blush spread across her face before giggling. She new that she would see him again, but she didn’t know when, and it scared her to think that she wouldn’t see him again especially after she helped him. She could only hope that he would make an appearance at the next Summer Sun Celebration in about five days, not including that day. She waved at the speck and wishing them luck once again before heading back to her cottage to feed her animals and moving on with her day.

The carriage touched down in a garden that was south of the castle that was defying gravity by handing off of the face of a mountain. The young female Alicorn was anxious at her mother’s reaction to the sudden new addition to the royal family... probably. Celestia new that she would ask him like she asked her cousins: Blue Bella and Cadence. She was happy that she didn’t asked Blueblood because of his greed and power hungry nature, but she suspected that he was hiring people to watch over other competitors and wait to give an order to kill; however, it was just a speculation and she wouldn’t be surprised if he did. He even tried to court his twin sister, Blue Bella, to gain the position, but she kicked his little friend between the legs.

Much to her ire, Prince Blueblood was waiting for her outside the castle gate with a smile that hid his greed, lust, and desire behind his deceptively kind grin. She new all too well that the prince would get jealous about the newest Alicorn that just randomly appeared in Equestria with no explanation. She secretly prepared a spell to blind him as dirt was flung into his eyes and the guards ran past him with the speed of light.

Blueblood was confused about his sudden pain in the eyes as he rubbed and screamed that he would have the head of anypony that was responsible for his pain. His eyes could feel every grain of dirt in them and couldn’t open his eyes to save his life at this point so he opted to just demand a guard to guide him to the medical ward. He could swear he heard sneering around him as he forced the female guard he asked to carry him while faking a story of him being blinded by a monster, but still managing to kill it.

Many of the guards already wanted to kick his ass just because of that ’true’ story that seemed to piss off all the mares. They all knew his song and dance for years now, but they still had to inform the rookies about his brazen actions during heat season where he would purposely get caught by a mare. They also had to inform them about his true character and explained that they would want to be apart of the princesses personal guards and not the prince’s. Suffice to say that most mares were completely disappointed by this new development when it was brought up which is why he wasn’t necessarily liked in the castle.

Blueblood didn’t realize that he has passed the room where the male Alicorn was currently resting to regain any lost energy from his body being torn to pieces and his soul transferred to a new body. If Blueblood got any word of this before Celestia planed to tell the council, than there would be hell to pay for her actions, but not to severe as many would think. Just a grounding from her mother and no cake for a month. It was better than any punishment anyone could think of because Celestia really loves her cake, and any meal without it was like torture to her. Suffice to say, after she got out and the queen gave it to her, the council realized that the princess may have been wise, but she was still a child.

This was her insensitive not to be caught by the pesky prince that can’t keep his mouth shut.

(Equestria — First Person)

My mind was clouded and fuzzy from the pain of whatever happened to me when I was in that odd place. The name of it still alludes me as everything I think of to try to name it came up as a blank from the almost uncanny transportation. I can’t remember much except for a ton of colors assaulting my vision and pain to match torture.

There wasn't much for someone like me to do in this situation but see if I could leave from this admittedly nice room. I did the first thing that came to mind and that was to try the door which surprisingly worked. I honestly didn't think that that would've worked in this situation which means that I was brought here because someone was nice enough to lend me the room until I woke up, or they are horrible kidnappers. I was hoping that former what what happened and not the latter, but if the kidnappers are just as shitty at combat like they are at containing people then I shouldn't have a problem.

I walked out the room and began to wander down the Halls of this extremely ornate building that I was so graciously taken into. I would have to find the owner of this extravagant building that I was now suspecting to be a tower. I would've asked for directions, but I couldn't find anyone nearby so I opted to use the signs which were no help.

"Okay so the exit is... No wait..." So, ya; the signs were completely useless since they only had pictures on them and not actual word's. Hell, some of the signs that did have words were ones I didn't understand because it looked like a mix of elvish and the dragon language from 'Skyrim'.

Luckily, I eventually found some stairs that lead downwards which I hoped lead to a street so I could ask for directions home... What? Okay, fine! I fell down the stairs; that's how I found them! Don't judge me! The only bad part was that I still didn't see a single person as I continued to walk around the area for anyone.

I got angry at some point because of the lack of anyone nearby me or anywhere else. This couldn't have been an abandoned building; it was way to nice and clean. I couldn't help but scream in frustration from the previous reason of anger which attracted some unwanted attention. Which was not helpful, but hostile and blade happy... if that means the equivalent of trigger-happy for a sword.

The guard ran at me in full armor at what I thought was top speed and was barrelling in my direction with no signs of stopping. I did the most logical thing to do and ran like a mad man down the halls. "Halt! In the name of the queen, we command you to stop!" She said while nicking me in the side to get the point across for me to run faster.

"Quit trying to kill me and I will!" I yelled while successfully avoiding another swipe from her broadsword. "This cannot get any worse!" Ah Merphy, you know exactly when to fuck someone over, don't you. "MERPHY YOU FUCKING TRAITOR!!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs as I was now running from a battalion of armed guards that were trying to cut me into tiny pieces. When one grazed me I could feel it shock my body with electricity which was over kill. I didn't care as I kept running away from the crazy ponies.

Yes, I know I'm a pony. I figured that out shortly after I woke up where ever I am, but I'm strongly leaning towards this being Canterlot in Equestria. Thank you Celestia, you lost ten fucking cool points with me. You might be replaced by Cadence for second best princess.

"Halt!" They all yelled at I ran faster and faster as lightning began to hit beside me while trying to hit me and magic bolts barely missed me do to my zigzag pattern of running. I somehow maintained equal distance between me and the sword wielding ponies.

"Trying to kill me defeats the purpose of saying halt!" I kept running without much, if any, direction and finally passed a few maids, more guards, and a princess, but it wasn't any of the four I knew. At this point, I'm sure that half the castle guards are now chasing me and I somehow felt I could go faster. I just stopped trying to avoid them and just ran straight which caused me to zoom off and out of the castle. "This is complete bull shit!" I yelled as I constantly ran away from outside guards that tried to block my way.

I eventually hit a dead end that lead to a one way ticket to falling to my death, and I'm sure that I would be to scared to use my wings if I fell. I heard a ton of foot steps come up behind me before I turned around to try and talk them down; emphasis on try. "L-look, can we ju-"

That ended in failure as the sword cut deep into my chest from my right shoulder to the left side of my diaphragm. The force of the attack sent me off the one way ticket to death which no one tried to stop. Each second felt like I was getting closer and closer to death as the ground grew closer with each second, but those seconds felt like hours. Blood covered my jacket and pants as the crimson liquid leaked from my body with no signs of stopping. Soon I felt the collision from my head hitting the ground as my vision slowly got darker and darker.

The last thing I saw and heard was yelling and a light blue blob before my vision went completely black. The pain, the growing sense of nausea, and the growing serenity as my body was now unresponsive to any of my commands. I guess I was truly dead. Not much I could've done at this point as my body slowly became more numb over time as the yelling grew quieter until I couldn't hear anything anymore. Whoever was trying to save me, thank you for trying and I appreciate your help. I just wish you could hear me right now.

My body shot up from the familiar feeling of sleep, but thrusting me into a whole world of pain and agony as I fell back to keep my body from straining my wound. I took in many greedy breaths in to replenish my lost oxygen and relieve my burning lungs. I heard a door open before it closed as multiple foot steps came in to say hello to this Alicorn. I coughed as my dry throat made itself known before a cart was parked beside me with water and a few glasses as a nurse walked away from the room. I looked up to see if I could find anyone and found the mane six, but it excluded Twilight, so I guess this is before season one.

"Hey." I said as I tried to initiate a conversation with the five to see what they want. I maybe a bit cynical, but that was a complete different reason; however, it made me distrustful to almost anyone else.

They flinched for a moment at my really deep voice that most who meet me seem to be caught off guard. Despite my deep voice, my tone was low to the point it was like I was whispering because my normal talking tone is loud. They just shrugged it off as me just being me since they didn't know me yet and assumed that this was normal for me.

"Hello. I don't know if you know me, but I'm Fluttershy. I was the one to take you in after you collapsed." She lied since if the was telling the truth, they would immediately grow suspicious of me which I didn't need now. It was easy to tell because I've seen how they acted when they lie, but if she had a reason to lie; I guess it's for the best. "I contacted the queen and told her that you were here and she said that she was on her way. Apparently, you had an eventful day." I looked down at my torso and found a bloodied bandage wrapped around my body.

"Tell me about it. All I wanted to do was go to school, not come here." I facepalmmed while mumbling low enough so that she, and the rest, wouldn't hear me. If only they knew what truly got him to Equestria, they wouldn't trust Celestia for as long as they lived and that would fuck up the timeline. "Is it the same day still?" I asked with curiosity which she nodded before I scanned the room for a clock. Not even ten minutes passed since I began exploring the castle.

"Oh, I for got to introduce myself, I'm..." I cut her off so I wouldn't have to hear the explanation. I know who they are but it gets annoying from them introducing themselves in fanfiction.

"Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, and Rainbow Dash." I said causing here and the rests jaws to drop from my prior knowledge of their identities and personality.

"How do you..." Rainbow began before I cut her off to explain myself. I did seem suspicious now, but I didn't give two shits to the situation that I caused.

"I have prior knowledge of you five and a few others." I lied back down to take a nap before this queen shows up to inevitably take me back to the castle for questioning me. All I know is that I'm either in a lot of trouble or I did something I wasn't supposed to. Doesn't matter what happens while I'm here, I'm still fucked no matter what happens. "I'm gonna take a nap. I'm tired and I still gotta wake up when she gets here. I hope to see you all soon. If I came off as apathetic or rude, but that's just how I sound. Goodbye ladies." I wasn't kidding about me needing to sleep for some time. I was drop dead tired from my daily schedule that was taxing and demanding. I would've stopped it if I didn't need it to wake up for school everyday. That's not including the horse shit that I was put through to day.

It didn't last long as the door opened soon after I closed my eyes to fall into the land of sleep. I groaned in annoyance as I sat back up and watched the first two walked in with four guards flanking them. I immediately jumped up and ran for the window as fast as possible and jumped out... Or I would've if the glass wasn't so god damn resilient.

"That worked out better in my head." I groaned before pushing open the window to left fresh air in. I could hear laughter behind me form the six including the five that were already here. "Ha! Jokes on you!" I yelled before falling back first out the window giving them the finger the entire time. I didn't account for me being on the fifth floor as I went head first into the grass below.

I silently whimpered to myself as I got up and ran as fast as I could into the town closest to the hospital. It resulted in me colliding with many walls and going flying when I tripped; result: unnecessary pain. Eventually I opted to sneak through the alleys and stick to the shadows like glue. That was when I finally noticed that I didn't have a shirt on and gulped from my huge oversight.

I was lucky enough to to not be spotted by anyone as I crept through the alle-

"Whatcha doing'?" Pinkie asked causing me to jump in fright before my muzzle collided with her's. We whimpered from the pain from the sudden muzzle contact that we had with her holding her jaw while I was covering the top of mine. However, she seemed to be more shocked than in pain as she gawked with her jaw closed to prevent anymore unnecessary pain. "That... actually hurt." She mumbled as I used this to my advantage and ran as far as I could without exposing myself. I could tell that with was gonna be a vary long day.

(Ponyville- Third Person)

Ten ponies gathered around the pink mare as she was regaling them with the tail of how she found him. Each detail as in how she practically stalked him for miles before actually confronting the disgruntled male who seemed a bit paranoid. Then again, he did suffer a normally fatal wound and fall from heights that would normally kill normal ponies. They were in shock by what she said and how she described his actions and how he moved around.

"You should've seen it! His eyes darted around with precision and accuracy to the point he saw that small tree on the hill over there." She pointed to the lone sapling that was barely visible to them. "When he moved, he was quiet and slow moved as if he was observing something, but when he heard ponies nearby: he immediately crouched and moved even slower than he was. If you were locked in a house with him at night, you could mistake h for a predator." They gulped from what she was insinuating and guessed that he was hunting something within the town and didn't want others to freak out.

Unbeknownst to the small group, they were being watched by the same pony that wanted to catch. He held a shard of glass in one hand just in case he actually needed to use it as he crept away; however he soon noticed that a guard was missing.

"Got ya'!" She yell before landing on the back of the male as he desperately tried to get her of. "Princess! You were right! He would observe us!" That was all she was able to get out as the male slammed her against the wall and delivered a swift strike to her throat. She didn't let got unfortunately but he was elbowing her in the ribs.

"Get. The fuck. Off of me!" He roared before slamming the back of his head in the muzzle of the guard. Blood flowed freely from the now broken nose of the mare as tears ran down her face. The instant regret flooded his features as he ran off before saying, "Keep her head forward and pitch the nose to stop blood flow!" He wasn't sure if that applied to a broken nose, but that was the best he could offer.

Despite what they had just seen, they were asking from a primal urge to run from the anger that filled the air when that guard grabbed him. They gulped as a unicorn guard healed the nose of the other and cleaned the blood off her face with ease. They couldn't move after that display as they soon realized that hunting him down was a really bad idea as they needed to be open and welcoming. They didn't want to set of his paranoia and have him run, but the queen was having some ideas of what he could do if he accepted to join their kingdom.

She couldn't thank about it at this time as she had to find that stallion before considering anything. She just hoped that she wasn't making the wrong decision and allowing a power hungry brute. Faust knows that's happened many times before. A sense of sadness filled her heart as she remembered her husband and what she had to do.

(Outskirts - First Person)

Recounting the day was easy, but also hard since I seemed to be unconscious for most of it. I knew I was somewhere near Sweet Apple Acres since the apple trees were baring red fruit while I relaxed in a branch that was facing in the direction of the farm house. The brilliant bright colors seemed to stand out yet fit in at the same time which was weird to me.

A gentle breeze came my way and blew across my face as the summer heat heated my body, but, due to the breeze, it felt nice instead of being cooked alive. I couldn't help but take in a long breath in as the familiar sense of serenity filled my body without having a near death experience.

"Sonny, don't ya' know that doing what y'all doin' is dangerous." I chuckled as I embarrassed my inner southern and allowed my accent to show.

"Sorry, ma'am. I meant no harm or nothin', but ah just can't help and enjoy tha view." I responded as I looked at the green mare I know all too well. She had a plad dress with some boots on along with a walker as she slowly made her way to me. Me being me, I jumped down and went to help the elderly mare. "Excuse me ma'am, but do ya need any help. Ah'd be happy to." She raised a hand and waved me off with a smile.

"No need to worry yourself over me young'en. My grandchildren are off doin' their own thing. Two are in the orchard, and the middle child is off to tha hospital to help a male alicorn get healthy enough to move. From what I've heard, he took triple the magic to heal his wounds." I laughed before giving her a kind smile so I wouldn't be rude.

"Ya, that fall was not as painful as that cut, but it sure as hell makes second in the most pain I've ever felt." I ruffled my feathers to make them a little more comfortable after those two falls. Apparently, my skull is tougher than most metals because that should of killed me.

"You sayin' that your that alicorn." She stated before I spread my wings and poked my horn before retracting them. She gawked before shaking her head an examining my wings with a bit of doubt.

"If y'all gonna ask if I'm royalty; no, no ah'm not. Nor do ah have any desire to be one." She nodded as if saying they were real before we heard the sound of a falling tree, and a screen coming from the direction of the orchard causing me to run of the that direction. That scream didn't sound too good either as that sounded like a bad combination to have happen within a short interval of time.

My adrenaline was pumping through my body as I dodged each tree that was in my way until I came up on a tree that was collapsed on a red mare with a somewhat shorter yellow mare trying to move said tree. This was definitely one of those 'HOLY SHIT!' moments for me since I've been in the same position as her at one point, so I know that shit sucks. I shook my head of any thoughts as I was planning to do something completely fuckin' insane by my standards.

I ran to the tree as the yellow mare looked at me in confusion that was absolutely adorable, but then again; I did just realized that it was Applebloom. I dug my hands under the large tree at the base because the other end was filled with dead branches and was fragile. I lifted it a little with some struggle, but I was absolutely sure that I could lift it higher.

I looked at Applebloom for a second before giving her an order that would move this along faster. "Hey, you!" This grabbed her attention as she looked my way in confusion. "I'm gonna lift this up as high as I can and you pull her out." She nodded and we put the hastily put plan into action while hoping for the best. I lifted the tree as high as I could until I physically couldn't anymore. I was glad because I at least got it up a couple of feet off the ground.

She pulled, she pushed, hell, she even tried to pick her up to no avail. Minutes passed and the red mare was only moved a few inches from her original position. I had to adjust my grip from time to time to prevent it from falling, but the tree was slowly moving towards the ground much to our dismay.

"F-fuck." I croaked from the strain this put on my arms. I huffed from the lack of oxygen I was allowing my lungs to collect as I tried with all my might to pull it up even higher which worked for a little bit.

It, eventually, slowly fell back to the ground with me trying to act against it. In a moment of genius thinking or my stupidity thinking this was a good idea, I rested the tree on my shoulder and attempted to stand; which surprisingly worked for a good while. By the time gravity and the tree had enough of by bull shit and made the tree heavier, the red mare's head was the only thing that was underneath the tree which meant it could end badly if I dropped it. Applebloom was out of energy and I was running on fumes. Pain raced through my entire body from the strain of holding this tree up. I closed my eyes and took slow, deep breaths as if I had some childish notion that the pain would go away if I did so. Like magic, it was working as I squeeze what little adrenaline I had left to dull the pain until...

CRACK!!!

My eyes shot open from the sound as the adrenaline drained from my shoulder as I looked down the tree to see the crack split halfway down the trunk. The broken side was dipping lower and lower unit it finally stopped just above the unconscious mare's throat. My mind raced with thousands of possibilities of her death. While moments before, I could use my wings to fly up and move the tree that way, but I could lose my grip and it would've killed her.

I looked at the young yellow mare that was staring at the older mare with tears in her eyes after that crack. I gulped down my fear and sorrow as my mind leaped into action while my lungs felt like they were gonna go into an asthma attack. "Okay! Okay. Look at me." I commanded which she complied by looking at me with an absolutely broken will. "What's your name?" I wanted to calm her down a bit.

"A- Applebloom." Fuckin' called it.

"Okay, your gonna have to pull your friend towards me. Okay." My tone was reassuring despite my rather quick breathing. This is literally the first time I've ever been in a life or death situation where I'm on this end.

"B-but I'm too weak." She put her self down like how I use to when I was younger. It was hard seeing such an optimistic filly in the show look so broken and discouraged.

"Don't fuckin' say that!" She jumped at my tone as I glared at her with disappointment. "Your Applebloom! There is no young mare like you in the entire god damned world!" She looked at me with some of her resolve back and kicking. "Sometimes, you... you think you can't do is just you underestimating yourself. I'm asking you to do your best, because if you can't do it." She was looking more and more like she did in the show with that youthful optimism she was known for. "Than who will!"

And just like that, she jumped into action and pulled and tugged at the red mare with amazing results. Each tug pulled the unconscious mare many inches from her original position until she was out from underneath the broken side. It was closed as the tree finally snapped and that side slammed to the ground with the weight finally being more manageable, so I pulled it away from the mare and dropped it.

"You did it Bloom!" She beamed at the praise as I went to the unconscious mare with my ROTC instincts showing themselves more and more. She seemed please with herself as I checked the red mare's ribs for any damage. I gulped as I couldn't check with her ribs without her shirt on. I don't know if they are broken without any visible confirmation. "I need to check her ribs, but..." I trailed off and Bloom already know what I was needing to do and she did it herself. When this mare wakes up, she'll need a new shirt or the buttons on this one will need to be sown back on.

I saw no visible bruising or any broken ribs from her current position. I took two fingers and ran them down both sides of her sternum to try an feel for anything broken which was a relieving negative, but it was what I didn't feel that considered me. I placed one of my ears near her mouth, placed two fingers on the vain near the base of her chin, and watched her chest.

My eyes widened as the implications came to me like a fucking truck. "Oh fuck!" I yelled as I immediately went into emergency CPR to try and restart her heart before looking at Applebloom. "Go get help!" Her eyes widened before complying as I did the thirty pumps before doing the mandatory two breaths that I was taught in ROTC. She wasn't breathing and had no pulse while I was feeling so happy that I didn't miss those days in class. "Sargent Jackson, you owe me a ribbon for this." I joked to myself as I did the four rotations need as I checked her once again. She was breathing, but that wouldn't last for long if I couldn't get her heart beating. I heard footsteps as I finished the compressions and checked her pulse. I felt something, but I wasn't sure if it was a delayed reaction to the compressions, so I put my ear to her chest.

Ba-bum!

Ba-bum!

Ba-bum!

I threw my hands up in the air and fell back while yelling, "She's alive!" My hysterical laughter was completely justify after the hell little Bloom and I went through. I was on an adrenaline high from the excitement of having to save a life and coming close to failing.

My view of the sky was blocked by a concerned filly as she looked at me with a little apprehension. "Is she..." She trailed off as I have her a toothy smile with my laughter still present.

"She's alive!" I yelled once again as I sat up from my relaxed laying position on the surprisingly soft ground. Her smile grew from the news as she ran off in another direction with the sound of others. I was to exhausted to care who she was talking to, but I hope they can give her some better medical attention than I can provide.

I was huffing from the tension that was in the air moments before with my eyes closed so the intensity of the sun's light wouldn't blind me.. I honestly don't realize that I was holding my breath throughout the entire ordeal with the mare. It also didn't help that my arms and shoulders were still burning from holding the tree up for an unknown amount of time. I opened my eyes and saw that it hasn't even reached noon yet and I've already done more than expected; then again, I didn't expect to go to Equestria.

My thoughts were cut short as a shadow loomed over me with curiosity as I refused to move from the soreness. "Your not gonna run?" The figure asked with curiosity as my eyes adjusted to reveal Celestia and a few of the rest.

"I'm done. Running would just lead to more pain. Hell, I did more in the few hours I was here than I ever did in the past month. I'm tired and I want to rest, but I guess I'm heading to the dungeon now so it doesn't frickin' matter." I closed my eyes and raised my arms lazily. "Cuff me." With the tone I was using, you could tell I was done and didn't care anymore.

I held my arms up until I felt myself being pull to my feet by two of the group. All that remained was the unknown alicorn, Celestia, Dash, Fluttershy, and the guards that pulled me up. I was really confused by this act as my facial expressed, but I was only greeted with friendly smiles.

"You were not here to arrest you, we just wanted to know why you were using a puppet." The unknown alicorn said clarifying what I interpreted as a unjust imprisonment.

"Oh... I'm so sorry." I responded bashfully with a small blush of embarrassment before the other half of the statement caught up to me. "What's a puppet?" They were taken aback by ignorance of the word that has a different meaning in this world.

"Do you seriously not know what a puppet is?" Celestia asked which gained a shake of the head from me. She sighed, obviously not wanting to explain, but having to in order for me to understand the situation. "A puppet is an artificial body created through the use of magic for observation or to transfer a consciousness to continue living while the previous body is destroyed. The spell to create a puppet was originally used, and made by, Grogar for the use of spying on different countries or swapping with the puppet to initiate a sudden attack from within the walls of a city. But you created an alicorn puppet which not even he can do, so we want to know how." Vary insightful considering that Hasbro will occasionally disregard the world building in favor of the episode.

"Well, all I did was download an app created by a user on a website I use. I downloaded it, created this avatar, and began to play what I thought was a game. How was I supposed to to know the game was an actual world?" I didn't notice that we actually started moving until now and that we were just entering the town and holy shit was it much bigger than I expected. Especially Sugar Cube Corner. It looked like it was five stories tall!

"I don't know... Magic." I rolled my eyes from her sarcasm as I trained my eyes on her with a board expression.

"Tell that to the person who came from a race with no magic." She actually tripped from the bomb dropped on her about my species being completely magicless. It must've sounded foreign to someone who's lived with magic their entire life.

"W-what?!" I was still apathetic to the situation; however, I made sure that my wings were hidden from the onlookers line of sight. The sight of a new alicorn could cause turmoil within the nation; specifically the nobles.

"Yup. I have no idea how to use this horn. Hell, I didn't have wings until earlier this mornin'." All conversation stopped on that sentence as we traveled in silence as I checked my phone for the time and... It... It isn't even close to noon. I sighed so I could initiate the next and final question of the day.

"So... Where are we going?" I asked to relieve the awkward silence that I was oblivious to until I spoke. They were now visibly less tense than they previously were compared to how they were a minute ago, some let out relieved sighs, while others were more expressive about it.

"The castle." This new pony said in a regal way. It was weird hearing something like that now in days unless you go to a nation that has yet to get rid of the monarchy system, but it was quite nice to hear and I'm beginning to add that to one of my favorite accents.

You know how I said that that was my last question for the day... I lied. "Umm... How?" The confusion was clearly evident in my tone and facial expression.

"By chariot, of course!" My eyes immediately widened at the notion of flight. I gulped down my shyness as my fear took over for the declaration of flight.

"No! No way in hell!" I stopped while making wild gestures to express my displeasure of said transport.

"And why not?" Rainbow said much to my slight happiness and greatly overwhelming displeasure.

"I hate height of any kind and flying is one of them! I have about an hour of flight experience in my entire life that just began today!" I was shaking on the spot from the fear coursing through my veins; however, the fear of heights was swept aside as Celestia gained a devilish smile.

At this moment, I knew... I fucked up.

Eventually, we made it to a golden chariot that didn’t have a back to it which genuinely scared the crap out of me. I reluctantly get on the flying death trap with such fear that it could be felt, but what took the cake was when I began to freak the hell out on the chariot because I don’t do heights. My entire brain had a singular idea and that was to keep my grip on anything I could get my hands on and that led me to grip the floor with every fiber of my being. My eyes weren’t ready for the long fall to the ground and no matter how much reassurance I got from the Queen and Princess; I refused to get up.

The landing was smooth, but I didn’t care about that as I jumped the fuck out that shit and got as far away from the edge as possible while maintaining an easy to reach distance from the Queen. I was beyond terrified at this point as I didn’t trust the integrity of this structure that was on the side of a fucking mountain. My breathing was quick and shallow which caused my vision to blur as my hyperventilating progressively got worse. Each second I spent in eye shot of that steep fall was another full minute of panic and quick breathing that won’t stop for a while.

“Whoa, I never thought I see the day that somepony with wings is scared of heights.” Celestia said causing me to blush out of embarrassment as I slowly inches my way to the nearest wall to regain my footing and stand up properly for the first time in the royal castle. I glared at her since she forced me into it with the threat of execution by lightning bolt; I know ponies are weather resistant, but I don't want to rest if I am.

I looked around the landing area and found that it looked like a court yard in a wide open space. In the center of the court yard was a large majestic fountain that had rainbow like tiles on the inside of the fountain. The water came from a stallion that had a sword like spear which meant that it could be used for cutting and stabbing if needed. His body was covered in plated armor leaving the helmet off to reveal his face set in the position of determining and joy as a smile of malice was forever etched into stone. His long mane and tail shocked me while in his hand was the head of a pony and a griffin. On the outside of the fountain read the art work’s name, ‘Bloodlust’. Seeing the statue now, it looked fitted and all around amazing to me.

The rest of the court yard branches into four different walkways spreading out in different directions. One lead into the main palace, up pristine white marble stairs, and through mahogany wood doors that had golden outlines of the two royals. The doors seemed to have the paintings of the Elements of harmony while depicting a silhouette of another Alicorn out of silver that had erupted from the elements main attack. I admired it for a while before I checked out the other areas of the court yard to take it all in while holding back my OCD to not just leave.

On the opposite side of the fountain and as a large steel or iron gate that leads into the castle, but there was one thing I never understood... why do castles need that big of a gate. I get that they needed it for a battering ram like object and trebuchets, but this is Equestria; you know... the most friendly nation in the history of TV. Maybe it is used for dragon dignitaries when they visit due to their massive size, or maybe other creatures and/or large animals. I wouldn’t be surprised if they tried to give the royals a elephant or a giraffe. Then again, it would be worth it to see the faces on their faces. I couldn’t help but chuckle at the thought before exploring more.

To the left of the fountain, when you walk in, is a lavish garden that seemed to be well groomed and the hard work of any ground workers shows. The amount of time the gardeners must’ve slaved over this must have been hours or days for it to be this beautiful. It actually reminded me of Calloway Gardens back in Georgia with the stunning floral images from perfectly placed flowers and expertly cut shrubbery and bushes. I could see some of the fauna scurrying around the green grass and bushes and the colorful flowers. Each way I looked in the direction of the garden reminded of my home far away. I sighed in content from the sense of serenity I felt just by looking at it. A sense I normally only got in Georgia.

Finally to the right of the fountain was what seemed to be a guard barracks that looked rather dull in comparison to the rest of the courtyard especially with all the vibrant colors in the area. However, it stood out because the guards were given orders by a white Unicorn mare that had a light blue mane with what I thought was a darker blue streak. She seemed to be yelling at some of the guards and from the looks of it; they were rookies that didn’t know the meaning of discipline much to the mare’s annoyance.

I could understand what she was going since I had been in command during some of the PT regiments in my JROTC class to get me use to giving orders. Those who weren’t serious learned the hard way that I had a short fuse that led to my anger. That was one of the reasons I didn’t like commanding was because I exploded on one of the Cadets.

What I saw next was one that almost made me yell in frustration as I saw the mare get talked down to by her lessers which severely pissed me off. I took a deep breath in as I walked in their direction with my pissed off glare that promised pain to anyone in the line is sight of it. I could tell that they must have just hit a sensitive subject as the mare began to tear up from the comment as I finally reached the cadets and grabbed a rock. What I was about to do would most likely get me arrested for assault, but if you do that; I can’t ignore it and for some unfathomable reason, I was much more bold.

I broke ranks as I pushed many of the trainees out of the way before the rock in my hand hit the side of the stallion’s head with just enough strength to knock him down. From what I heard this mare came from a disgraced family that I had no idea about, but it pissed me off that they would judge some for another person’s actions.

When the trainee saw me, he tried to glare before it faltered as I let my statistic side out for a short moment. ”What was that? I didn’t hear you.” I said with my voice dropping another octave and had an underlining tone of Rage. ”Go on, I’m listening.” He began to backpedal away from me as I chuckled darkly. He said nothing as his voice seemed to be caught in his throat. He seemed to get the message as I got on one knee and gripped his throat with one hand and squeeze it with all my might, but I forced him to look at me as I did so. ”You should think about this the next time you do this, or next time...” I trailed of as I looked at him with a psychotic smile and a threatening look in my eyes. ”I won’t be holding myself back.” I left with a terrified rookie and a, hopefully, grateful mare in my wake while walking to the royals whom had shocked looks.

“I... I’m surprised you did that. Most stallions would either join in on the mocking or stay out of it.” Celestia said as I rolled my eyes and walked into the castle not before looking back and seeing the platoon still staring at me in shock. I smiled as I spread my wings to their full length and walked in with a little elegance to not seem like I don’t belong.

“My response to what you just said appalls me. It’s just how I was raised.” I eventually closed my wings to not knock anything over after I felt my wings touch each wall. “All I want to do is take a shower and change into something more reasonable. I’ve been sweating in this and it’s drying up so now I feel all gross and grimy.”

“We can take care of your clothing situation. A maid will take your clothes after you step into the bathroom.” Solis said making me smile as I gave a polite standing bow to give my silent gratitude... DARK SOULS STYLE!!! I let my left foot take a step back and kneeled down on one knee before balling up my left fist and letting it rest on the ground while my right arm rest on my knee. I could hear them chuckling at what I did. “There is no need for that Iron; though we do appreciate the gesture.” I stood up and followed them them to my new bedroom for an unknown amount of time.

When we got to the room, I was in total awe as I just saw the king sized bed in all its glory which I immediately jumped on just to feel how soft it was. It was really soft, yet firm at the same time, but questioning magic here to be a science would be like a scientist ‘why’ after every explanation. I would just get crazy looks.

“If you don’t mind my, young friend, I shall go fetch the royal tailor to take your measurements and make you some new clothes.” Solis said before leaving the room with Celestia to do whatever the hell they wanted or, most likely, do their royal duties. I looked around to see if if could find anything to do before I checked my pockets and found my phone.

Turning it on, I found that the time was only 10:32 in the morning so I had a ton of time to do the shit I wanted and continue on with life. I scavenged my bag to find my charger before I noticed a rather ornate object in my bag. I had no clue why I would have something gleaming in my bag or anything ornate at all. I pulled it out and found it looked like a broken straight sword, but instead of it staying in my hands; it went airborne without my even doing anything. I recoiled in shock when a long, rectangular warning bar that came out of nowhere tried to remind me that I couldn’t use non-Soul Weapon.

I slowly walked to it with trepidation as if it was a living thing that wanted me dead before I tapped it and the screen disappeared, but it was swiftly replaced by a rectangular screen asking if I wanted a tutorial for my HUD. It had two buttons on it that I could choose between and those were the obvious ‘Yes’ and ‘No’. I tapped ‘Yes’ and a screen appeared before me as other object in my line of sight appeared but they all seemed to be attached to my left arm.

I saw a really short red bar which I new was health, a vary long blue bar which I knew was my MP or magic points, and finally was the moderately sized green bar that was my stamina. Underneath each bar was a number that told me the amount of the bar. The health was a messily 1 point, the magic points were the obvious highest at 5,000, and my stamina was at 900. On the sides were arrows that, when touched, I could move the bars to my desired length. All I did was move the bars to the point where the beginning went halfway to my elbow while the end was at my wrist. After I looked around for the ‘Finish’ button ( I finally got out of my shock, but I was now in amazement), I found it on the side of my wrist that was near the back of my wrist.

I clicked it and a screen the same said as before appeared in front of me that had the title, ‘Pulling Up Inventory’. It said that the inventory screen can only be pulled up by thought along with the map, but I had to concentrate on which one I wanted to pull up. I took a deep breath in and closed my eyes while maintaining my calming breathing while clearing my mind to focus more of my mental power on pulling up one of the two screens. Soon after a soft ping came from in front of me which caused me to open my eyes to see if it worked. My eyes widened in horror from what I was seeing on the inventory screen, or more precisely on the personal info portion of it. I still had the unique class perk, but I also had another perk alongside it. It was more of a curse than a perk since it bumped all of my stats, except for intelligence and speed, back to one. My intelligence was at around sixty-five and my speed was maxed out from what I could see and it was all due to that curse on me. It was named ‘Puppet’s Transfer Curse’, but the description was was even more bazar since it dropped almost everything to one after transferring to a new body.

“Son of a bitch!” I yelled with an obviously pissed off tone as I sighed and just dismissed the screen in favor of takings a shower or bath. I was just hoping that, after I got out, I would be calmer than when I originally was going in.

I had to remind myself that the royal tailor was probably going to come by at some point and, knowing my luck, would most likely come in while I’m taking a shower or bath... still haven’t decided which one I’m gonna do. I wrote a note saying that I left my clothes out to be examined by the tailor to help with measurements while I was washing up.

I sighed before yawning from my mind still a little tired from my original wake up time, but I guess sleeping after I got out wouldn’t hurt. Not much I can do after I get to this point other than trying not to pass out when I’m doing something.

(Canterlot Castle — third person)

“Are you sure about this Bella?” A pink mare asked while trying to find a way to get out of meeting the new guest with her cousin. She had a multi color mane and tail with the colors pink, purple, and yellow in it while her eyes were the same color of purple.

“Absolutely! It would be proper if us two great this new pony than any other commoner.” Bella said to her Alicorn cousin while wandering why this guest hasn’t left their room yet. Bella was a complete white mare with a blond mane and tail and bright blue eyes. They didn’t realize how introverted this new guest was and how he didn’t necessarily liked being pampered like an ungrateful brat. “Is this where the new guest is staying?” She asked one of the guards whom was posted to guard the door.

The mare nodded without saying a word as she opened the door wide for the four to see completely inside... only to find a completely naked Alicorn staring at them with an embarrassed blush on his face. Without missing a beet, he rushed into the bathroom located on the left side of the bed if you enter from the door. He didn’t close it gently because of his flustered state, but with a mighty slam that made everyone on the other side of the door jump from the sudden loud sound.

“I take back everything I said coming up here.” The pink Alicorn said with a blush and a sly grin while Bella was just trying to process everything she saw. She wasn’t distracted by what she saw, but she was definitely confused about another Alicorn coming out of no where. Her cousin noticed her confusion along with the blush as she examined her state with a perverted smile. “You haven’t one of those thoughts about you with him?” Bella’s face became even redder than it was before which stood out from her normal white coat.

“N-no! I’m just... confused about how another Alicorn appeared.” The mare yelled with her blush intensifying because she couldn’t not say that she wasn’t also thinking of if.

“Are you sure?” The Alicorn couldn’t help but tease her cousin from her contradicting blush.

“Shut up, Cadence.” She said as she walked into the room and found what she didn’t expect: a broken sword that had a note on it alongside a pile of clothes with another note. She picked up the note on the clothes while making sure that she would put it back seeing that it would be important.

For the Royal Tailor,

I apologize for my absence if your reading this, but I must take a shower from the rough day I had so far and I do not wish to remain dirty in fear of the maids having to do too much in this room. Please, measure these clothes for a rough estimate of my size and please wait outside if you want a more accurate number.

Sincerely,
Iron Melody

Bella put the note down while understanding much more of the situation from the door opening on him without any clothes. She looked at the broken sword for a moment before picking up the note and reading it and seeing how he wrote it. It seemed like he was claiming innocence from owning the weapon.

For anyone who reads this,

I DO NOT OWN THIS WEAPON!!! I have no idea why it was in my SCHOOL bag, but I can no longer even touch a normal weapon. However, the bladed weapons are considered primitive where I’m from so there was no point of having it except for decoration. That and I’d rather not get through in jail and have that on my permit record. Please, take this to the proper authorities.

Thank You,
Iron Melody

Bella could no see how honest this new Alicorn was and how he did things, but she didn’t understand why he didn’t just drop this off at the armory and explaining himself. She could only guess what his reaction would be like at the dining table and if he’s worth the being royalty. Bella was mostly nice, but she was thinking that this stallion could be using a complex illusion spell.

“Umm... Excuse me, but I need to see the stallion that lives here.” Bella pointed to the clothes that had the note on it. The clothes were dirty and had spots of brown on thin from dirt along with the occasional wet spot from sweat. She read the note and looked at the clothes before nodding and taking a rough estimate of the clothing while trying to not touch the dirt and sweat covered clothes. “I shall wait out said for him to leave the bathroom.” Just as she finished that sentence, the previous human poked his head trough the door with an embarrassed blush.

“Is there any that is remotely clean in that stack of clothes?” Iron said as the tailor grabbed his boxers and threw it at him with a sheepish smile.

“Sorry, but you’ll need to wear that so I can get more accurate measurements.” Iron sighed as he disappeared once again behind the door before walking out without a shirt.

He seemed really uncomfortable with doing this and completely forgot about the other four mares in the same room. They looked at him in horror at his malnourished state as they could clearly see his ribs through his fur. He was tall... really tall. About as tall as the Queen herself, but his wings were much larger than any other royal along with his horn, but his wings slowly transitioned from black to red to orange. His dark gray coat was still a little wet from his bath that was more to keep him from having a mental breakdown because of earlier.

“Are you already? You seem... really thin.” He blushed as he chuckled in embarrassment from the question because he didn’t like to tell other.

“I blame my metabolism. I’ll forever be this skinny.” The tailor walked up to him and hit the bottom of his feet so he could spread his legs out to take measurements.

“How about your family? Are they worried about you being here?” He shrugged while trying not to think about so the rest didn’t worry about him despite him trying his hardest not to breakdown crying. “How about your stay in Equestria your majesty.” He tensed up at hearing this while taking a deep breath in from the sudden formal title.

“I’m not royalty and I doubt I’ll ever reach that level when it comes to focus and responsibility.” He didn’t like the idea of being a royal member, but he was good at turning the tables and waiting for the opportune time to make a counterclaim. “I’m lazy as hell and I procrastinate like there’s no tomorrow. It’s amazing how I’m maintaining a B average in school.”

“So your a student.” He nodded as the tailor measured his waist after finishing with his legs. “I have one question to ask. Why are your hooves so different?” He looked down and saw that his feet still maintained their normal appearance.

“There actually called feet.” He looked up for a moment as he thought of a hypothesis on why he has feet while everyone else has hooves, but he had to checked his teeth to confirm his theory. Much to his surprise, he still had his canine teeth from his human body along with his front teeth still being used to rip and tear through meat. “So I still retained some of my human characteristics after being forced into this new body.” It was so quiet, but those in the room heard what he said while connecting it to a creature only heard about in myth.

“Human... you use to be human.” Bella said before bursting out in laughter from the seemingly preposterous statement. “They’re nothing but myth.” The mare continued to laugh at the previous human causing him to pout at her before leaving the spot he stood at to grab his phone. He typed in the password and went to his camera where he pulled up his most recent picture that he took in his home state of Georgia.

He showed them the photo of himself before coming to Equestria with nothing more than the items he had with him which included his bag. They went through his photos and found that in almost every single one of them; he was wearing a jacket. They stopped at a certain photo as they looked at it with widened eyes after seeing a picture that had multiple humans in it with a blue frame that said ‘Family Reunion’ underneath it. They eventually found him behind everyone with an awkward smile and a shy expression on his face. What caused them to pause was when they realized that when he was sent to Equestria, he was pulling from everything he knew and loved.

They could see he was really calm, but if they took a look into the mind of the stallion, they would see that he is doing everything he can to keep himself from having a mental breakdown. Each agonizing second for him was eating away at his emotions ran wild within him and steering him deeper into his depression. If they payed attention, they could hear his breathing becoming faster and even more panicked while his body was tensing up from the mental stress. His hands shook ever so lightly, but they were progressively becoming worse for the stallion as they slowly became more noticeable.

“Aaaand done! The new clothes will be ready before lunch.” The tailor said as the teen thanked her for her kindness and bowed his head to show his appreciation. “Think nothing of it, but next time, if we get the chance, I would love to hear some stories from your homeland.” He nodded while keeping his composure that was was hard to see through. His facade was nearly impossible to see through unless you knew him very well and could see the signs. The tailor left alongside the two royals and the guards went back to their post that was on the other side of the ornate door before it closed.

He checked the time on his phone and found only an hour has passed since the incident with the two others. He felt something well up within him that seemed to bring up old memories of the past. He felt everything the memories had to offer and was slowly feeling the emotionless wall he put up to protect himself being torn down. He grabbed his phone and put on a song to just lose himself in the music and push the dreadful emotions back. He took a deep breath in as the song began to calm his nerves which was doing little to work and the song that came on fit perfectly with his emotions.

(Canterlot Castle — First Person)

I walked down the halls with my guard escorts to the dining room for lunch with other dignitaries from the Changeling Hives. I was internally shocked that the Changelings were actually allied with the Equestrians despite what the show said, but then again, this is a different world. I released all my growing sadness in the room to keep myself from breaking down while in the middle of lunch.

I sighed as the doors to the dining hall were before me in all their eloquent beauty, but I didn’t look at the design out of boredom. The doors slowly opened from the magical strain put on the Unicorns as an Earth Pony ran through before me to introduce me to the guests. He cleared his throat to relieve anything stuck in it to speak loudly and clearly. “Introducing his highness, Iron Melody!” He introduce with a loud clear voice, but I was annoyed that I was introduced as royalty.

“I’m not royalty you dumb fuck!” I yelled at him in annoyance because the royal life isn’t for me at all. I walked past him with my clearly annoyed expression without even acknowledging the presumptuous guard that introduced me. “Don’t be presumptuous!” I walked to the table where the Queen, Celestia, Cadence, and that strange mare were sitting at it while four other Changelings balanced out the ponies at the table.

I found the chair farthest away from the group and sat down without even thinking of it before I having the feeling of something being pulled out of me. It stopped a second letter as a menu was placed in front of me which had a simple design on it. I opened the menu and found two sections to it with one being meat based and the other being vegetarian based. I found was I was gonna get as I silently choose the cheese burger with the side of a salad with ranch dressing on top. It made sense that they had menus for various foods so the princesses, queens, and other dignitaries know what’s available.

While the rest made their orders, I made mine as quietly as a mouse due to my timid nature when surrounded by others. It was at this time when the Solis spoke up to address me about a matter that I surprised me and even made me think about the future here. “So, Iron,” I looked up at her with an unreadable expression on my face, “what do you plan on doing now that your here? I heard you have no interest in becoming royalty.” I thought of what I wanted to do with my life now that the Marines were off the table. I could follow a musical career or I could do literally anything I wanted, but I didn’t know.

“Honestly,” I began, my deep voice shocking the new occupants of the room that haven’t heard me speak yet, “I don’t know. I was pulling from my home to atone for a crime I didn’t even know I committed.” I gained a contemplating look as I thought of what I could do. “Maybe I could get a cuter that would work with my current stats?” I mumbled to myself, but not quietly enough because I underestimated how good the ponies hearing could be.

“Wait what?” Celestia began before I willed my inventory screen to appear and checked my stats once again. I saw the table shake ever so slightly from what I thought was them freaking out, but it was the opposite... for the Changelings and the Queen.

“I’ll need something that will work with my speed and intelligence.” I went to my options and pulled it up to see what I could do with my arm HUD.

I chose a few options that allow small screen that had pictures on them to quickly access that certain screen called ‘Quick Access’. I chose the settings and map quick function and put them on the back of my wrist that was connected to the back of my hand. Unfortunately, I would only be allowed to head to those screens and not go to any other screen. It was still a nice shortcut though.

“Interesting, is this a result of how you got here and how you originally perceived this world as?” Solis asked as I thought for a moment and nodded; thinking that that could an accurate hypothesis to why this was happening.

“I believe so. You hypothesis may be correct and considering how I use to view this world as a video game; it makes sense.” I paused before something came into my mind about a certain question she asked me before we bagged to talk about this. “Why did you ask me about what I would do for a job?” I was confused for a moment before hearing her out. I was intrigued about her inquiry into what I would do for a job.

“Would you please have my daughter, Celestia, as your charge?” I burst out laughing at her question, thinking it nothing but a mere joke before I realized that I was the only one laughing.

“Oh my god, you weren’t kidding.” I paused before the full realization hit me and I jumped to my feet with widened eyes from what she said. “Are you insane! I’ve never been in a fight in my life and you expect me to be the guard of a high value target... no offense.” Celestia waves it off as if she knew that she was indeed a high value target in the political system.

“That is why I have a friend from Neighpan that was wanting a student. She was the youngest successor of her clan.” I didn’t bother at this point to compare this to the show because I’d like to not have an aneurism trying to figure this out. “I’ll send for her immediately.” Her horn glowed and a bright flash, yet nothing happened. “She’ll be here quickly.” ... A lot of females here that I didn’t expect... kinda.

“What... if the female ratio here?” She looked at me like I should’ve known this despite my obvious shock when coming here... or that could be from cultural shock.

“I thought you would know since you see this world in a video game.” She stated with a confused tone, but it wasn’t easy because her soft voice made it hard to understand what the tone of voice was.

“Actually it was a video game adaptation of a TV show.” I said off handedly before getting back on track. “I was only able to make it past the tutorial and not to the actual game and it was never explained and that was only explained by the fans, but there is no explanation to it.” I began to whisper after I finish, thanking my luck that no one heard it. “That and why they never showed two ponies kissing despite that more family friendly shows on Disney do so.”

She sighed thinking that I would’ve known it, but I couldn’t tell she was annoyed by this. Her tone still seemed to hold that motherly tone that made it hard to determine if she was truly mad or not. “The male to female ratio if eighty-four percent mares and sixteen percent stallion.” My eye twitched as I was contemplating with just walking out and not coming back until dinner before I smelled the sweet sweet smell of meat. I walked to my chair to take a seat because I unknowingly paced around without knowing it.

A few minutes later, the doors opened and a plethora of vegetarian foods came in along with a simple cheeseburger. They looked at the lone meat product with a scowl before the waitress looked around for me. I could tell he was a different waitress was new because she was obviously female and the pony whom took my order was male. She looked around and saw that all of us had vegetarian meals before looking at me who wasn’t looking at it disgust.

“Umm... E-Excuse me sir. Who ordered this?” She asked with a little stutter at the beginning while held the plate out before me. I gave a kind smile to reassure her that I wasn’t anything harm to her.

“I will tell you if you let me know your name. I would love to know the kind waitress’s name.” I said before she blushed from my kind words as she stuttered out her response.

“F-feather Duster, sir. I was just transferred from the cleaning staff to a waitress.” I smiled before taking the plate from her which caused her eyes to widen.

“To answer your question, I did. My original species need it for the protein it give us.” I put the plate down and began on my salad with the up most grace. I may have never been to Cotillion, but I still had some damn good manners because my parents drilled it into my skull.

“Your a carnivore?!” Cadence yelled in both fear and amazement while I looked at her with a deadpan expression. I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose while shaking my head in disappointment before explaining myself.

“First, no. Second, I’m omnivores; meaning that I can eat fruits, vegetables, and meat. Lastly, I need meat do to my species needing the protein we cannot get from plants, but this is more of a test to see if I can still eat meat... after I’m done with my salad.” I sat silently as I caught some of them giving me quick glance from the corner of my eye as I ate my food in silence.

Eventually, I got to the cheeseburger and I took the first bite and my tastebuds were immediately assaulted with the sweet, succulent flavor of meat. My eyes shot open from the pure flavor that washed over my tongue from the shock of tasting something so good that it rivals the Varsity in Georgia. Without warning, I devoured the burger without caring who saw the almost ravenous eating.

“That was the best burger I’ve ever had.” I sat back and drank the tea that was placed before me by the same waitress as before.

“I’m surprised that you could stomach such a dish since your a pony now.” Celestia said while enjoying a slice of cake brought in from the royal dessert pantry or where ever it’s from.

“I’ve found that my two bodies haven’t disappeared or alter themselves to fit this new world, but they actually merged into one.” This amazed Celestia since she has seen my actual body up close before anyone else at this table. For the first time in a long while, I actually adjusted my glasses to keep them from falling off my face and onto the ground. “Apparently, I have developed traits that allowed my species to survive for so long. These include my teeth that allow me to eat a variety of different foods so I could survive in any environment. My vision seems a little better, but not much so I’m suspecting that my eye sight is better; if just slightly. Thirdly, I could tell that the food was coming faster than anyone else making me think that my sense of smell has been heightened. I cannot say anything for my hearing because I practically destroyed it with the sound of rifle fire and the roar of an F-35C jet. Not to mention the drag races I went to for years.”

“How can cross dressing stallions be fun to watch in a race?” One of the changelings asked as I looked to her with a quirked eyebrow. Internally, I was trying so hard not to laugh that that is actually a thing here.

“Before I answer that, may I please have your name.” She nodded and stood in a prideful way as she put a hand to her chest while sticking it out in a show of cockiness.

“I am Princess Chrysalis, next in line for the Jade hive.” I nodded as she sat down with a prideful smile making it hard to mess with her and knock her down a peg or two. Mostly because it was completely adorable and hard to counter without feeling some guilt on my end.

“A pleasure to meet you Chrysalis. To answer your question, I don’t suppose that you have anything that doesn’t need to be pulled by anyone else such as a care or motorcycle.” I’m not counting a train because that would give off the wrong idea. I just hoped that no one would try and guess that.

“Like a train?” Cadence began immediately after the thought ended making me punch my plate to the center of the table and slams my head into it with such force that the entire table shook.

“No, that would be inaccurate. Anyways, we would use the vehicles called cars and motorcycles to race against one another with each vehicle being specifically modified for that soul purpose, but it can still be used on the road. Because of these modified engines being made to travel past one hundred miles per hour, they are really loud and the bleachers aren’t that far away from the cars when they are racing. This is not counting the multiple times I would be about a yard away from one or two of these loud engines because my step dad keep, and works, on them to race them.”

“It couldn’t have been that loud.” I gave her the ‘you wanna bet’ look. The one you give when you know your right and want to be an ass about it.

“If someone was pushing the gas, we would have to yell to barely hear one another.” She looked away in embarrassment

The Queen coughed into her hand while trying to change the subject away from my old home. How do I know? Fucking telepathy through the damn Queens in the room. It startled the hell out of me, but my reaction was a barely noticeable widening of my eyes.

“I heard that you have met my nieces Cadence and Bella.” I knew Cadence for the same reason I knew Celestia, but Bella was new to me and she seemingly looked like a normal unicorn. Damn, and I felt like the outcast because I was the only male at the table, but she was the only unicorn at the table.

“Bella?” I asked letting them know that this was a vast difference than what I’ve seen.

“Her full name and title is Princess Blue Bella, the kinder of the two twins.” I sighed hoping that Blueblood wasn’t here for an extended amount of time.

“Let me guess the other twin’s name. Blueblood.” They nodded their head as I saw that at least there was at least something I was familiar with.

“Yes, I act the same way in public to scare off any suitors that wish to court me only four my money.” I shrugged knowing that you can give and take in this world. It’s harsh, but it’s life. “Sometimes I slip into it because of how many times I use it daily.”

I hummed in thought about why that was until I thought of a perfectly valid statement. “Maybe it’s the asshole genes in your DNA. I know Blueblood and everyone in the fandom wants to fuckin’ murder the basturd for reasons that might occur in the next Grand Galloping Gala. It depends when the hundredth Summer Sun Celebration is and what will happen. I know what will happen in the future, but I’m not sure if it has changed do to my arrival or my inevitable intervention.”

“With that, you could tell us what is going to happen and how to prevent it.” Another changeling said while I gave a sheepish smile before I asked the question that sealed my fate.

“Where if Twilight Sparkle?” Solis looked at me quizzically from my question as she answered my question.

“She is my personal student and I’m preparing to send her to Ponyville to save Luna, but you say that you want to save both of them.

“The show follows her as its main protagonist. I will not disclose anything other than that, but I wish to accompany her to the town to save the Lunar princesses.” She looked at me with a glare that was meant to deter me from following my corse of actions. I stared back at her with a blank expression without showing a single emotion or even twitch. “Glaring at me won’t work. I honestly don’t care about your opinion Solis, or if you want Nightmare Moon to pay for her crimes. I’ll be damned if you pull that shit because I’m going either way; even if I have to walk all the way there.”

“Are you sure this corse if action is for the better or if it’s better to leave it as it is?” She realized that it was futile to try and intimidate me with such a weak glare.

“I do not know, but if it works out; I’ll have a pranking buddy that can help me prank dreams and scare the hell out of others in there dreams.” I thought for a moment before a wicked smile spread across my face. “I could give her some great ideas.”

“And how is that?” Solis was surprised to see my mischievous side coming out as I had damn good ideas.

“I have frequent nightmares so I got use to them. It would be interesting to see how a pony handles it.” Silence filled the room with what I said as they slowly shook their heads.

“You need help.” Cadence said before I hit her on the head lightly, but she still cradled it like it had much more force. “That was too hard.” She whined as I realized I put to much force into it. I should’ve apologized, but I saw an opening and I took it.

“I could give you something harder later.” Confusion was all I could see as I went back to my seat before their minds finally came to the same conclusion. Solis, Celestial and a few of the changelings laughed while the rest just looked at me slack jawed at my response except for Cadence as she gave me a sensual look that caused nervousness to shoot through my body.

“No! There’s two of them!” A guard said as he ran out, but was instantly replaced by another guard who looked like they were trying to hold in their laughter.

Solis stopped abruptly as she looked at me for a moment before she smiled mischievously. “Oh, are we not to your liking?” I blushed as she gave me the same look Cadence gave as their looks made me blush and feel self conscious about myself. It was one quality I didn’t like about myself. “Aww~, did we get you all flustered?” I pouted in response and turned away from them while puffing our my cheeks in response. However, much to my luck, all the attention went to the door suddenly opening without the use of magic.

The doors opened as someone else walked in this time without a guard escort, making me envious with how she memorized the layout. I didn’t bother asking how long it took her to memorize it because a voice in the back of my head told me not to in order to maintain my pride... or what little I have left. The mare had a dark purple fur color, was about five foot three with a deep blue mane and here eyes matching the same color. She had a weird undershirt I’ve never seen before with a black vest like cloth to cover her chest and privates because the almost transparent undershirt wasn’t long enough. How did I know this? The best like clothing were cut on the side and halfway up her hips that showed her Cutie Mark completely. Those two cuts on both sides of the clothing made it blatantly obvious that she cared more for functionality than how it looks. Around her neck and tied in her mane were a long white scarf and a long white ribbon. She had a purple cloth wrapped around her waist that held a tanto on her side. Black socks went halfway up her thighs and her shoes kept her a little elevated off the ground while remaining with the traditional Japanese theme.

I smiled and got up to greet her without any sign of open hostility to prevent her from reacting badly. I gave a light bow to show some respect, but mostly because I sometimes did a light bow when greeting others, before I held out my hand for a handshake to greet her properly. “Hello, I am Iron Melody, first human turned pony.” I said before I gave off a bad vibe to her from my cynicism that was almost always present. Actually now that I was closer, I notice that see had scales of the same color on her body and that her tail was much more different than the normal ponytails. Is... is she a kirin. I thought about it for a while since she didn’t have a horn and from the fan art and from what I heard in the fandom.

She smiled kindly at me before taking my hand and giving it a good shake before greeting herself. “Happy to meet you Iron Melody. I am Arashi no Ikari. But you can call me Arashi.” I smiled wider while releasing her hand... only for another screen to appear and scare the crap out of both of us. “T-that was... unexpected.” I nodded while attempting to calm my pounding heart. I looked at the screen for a moment before I reread it.

[Okay]

I sighed from my new weapons appearing in my inventory before I crouched down to relieve myself from the mild annoyance that it this now life that works like a game. I stood back up and pulled my inventory out of nowhere before looking at all the weapon classes there are, but I stuck with the katana so I could learn that before anything else. The katana would work more like a normal sword which I honestly prefer other anything else. My annoyance grew greater as another screen appears before me with another tutorial.

Tutorial: How To Summon A Weapon

To summon a weapon, put your dominate hand in front of out and then grasp the air for the item to appear in your hand. This works with healing items, weapons, armor, and consumables.

[Okay]

I pressed okay once again before selecting the Training Katana and clicking equip to use it as I got some distance before doing as the screen said to summon the weapon. I closed my hand slowly because of my growing nervousness that came with the suspension that this was all a prank on of the guards put on me. When my hand was completely closed, a bright blue light appeared within my hand as it tried to escape from its prison as what I assumed was magic gathering in the palm of my hand. This freaked me out and I dropped it causing the magic to blind me and everyone else. Eventually, the light was gone as I opened my eyes to find the sword right where the light was when I dropped whatever it was.

I picked it up and willed a screen to appear before me to check the stats of this wooden sword. My eye twitched when I found that the sword did twenty damage, but also consumed all the other training weapons to give it ‘Zero Damage Deflection’ perk that denied all damage if attack is deflected. Because of this, it dropped from a two hundred damage weapon to it low damage output of twenty.

“Well... I got something to defend myself with.” I said looking at the over glorified stick. Yes, a stick because it does blunt damage and not slash damage so I’m calling it a stick.

“Ignoring all of that,” Solis began as she turned to Arashi with a smile as she gestured to me with one of her hands as Arashi looked at me then to her, “please take this stallion on as your student. He can not defend himself due to little to no training and no combat experience.” ‘Because I’m a high school student love. That shit would get you suspended or worse... expelled. “I believe that he would make a great student for you and your clan.”

“I’ll be the judge of that.” She said while looking back at me while the rest of the occupants of the room were still in stunned silence. “So, do you want to be my student or not?” I looked at her for a moment before I gave her my answer.

“I guess...” I trailed off as she glared at me, but this one actually caused me to back down a little, probably because my anxiety from being watched was kicking in.

“That didn’t answer my question.” I looked at her for a moment as she got into my face to the point where we were almost nose to nose which made me blush furiously. I wanted to back away to gain some distance between us; however, it felt like I was glued to the floor and something was getting more blood than my legs. With sheer willpower, I forced my member to stay down to not embarrass myself in front of everyone in the room because I would never get over it, and I don’t want anyone to say I’m a pervert. “Well... What’s your answer?!” She yelled which caused me to finally release my feet from their momentary prison as I fell to the floor and thought about what I would do.

The pros and the cons were vast, but they could work either way depending on your standing on the subject. I gained a thoughtful look at I entered my own little world to think of it before I exited to ask a simple question. “What will I train as?” I asked while trying to figure out what she was exactly to guess correctly. I wanted to get the specifics before I start to weigh the pros and cons.

She looked at me like I was crazy before answering with the tone of voice that made her sound condescending for a moment. “A shinobi, or as every other race calls them: a ninja.” With the way she said the word ‘ninja’ she much didn’t like that term for describing her job choice.

Pros of being a Shinobi: good sense of direction and stealth training to boot. Hard to find if I’m ever wrongfully accused and found guilty. The history of the Shinobi would be interesting to learn about, but that’s me being a history nut than anything else. I get to learn how to use a sword (I’m gonna count that as two, because that would be fucking awesome to learn), I could use the train sword I already have to train, and I won’t be mooching off of the crown without being royalty.

Cons of being a Shinobi: I will be in constant danger all the time. I would most likely not win in an up front fight and would need extensive training to even stand a chance. I would get the shit beaten out of me when training and I'm not much a fighter.

"Sure, why the hell not. Not like I have much of a life anyways." I said throwing my arm in the air without care. I didn't care what happened as long as I wasn't completely useless when fighting. I would literally die from a feather. "I'll die in an upfront fight. I'll play dirty." I'm gonna regret this aren't I.
