She had paid the taxi driver and left the vehicle, allowing him to drive away as she approached her destination: the beach. Sunset Shimmer had returned to the sandy oasis not too long after regaining her friends' memories of her and reinstating their friendship, and now she has come back for a little bit of fun and to unwind. Moonlight shined down upon the area as Sunset walked on the sand to the sea, wearing her black bikini top marked with her usual sun emblem, her flowing orange and pink bikini skirt, and flip-flops with her bag by her side.

She began to wonder if her friends would become curious to where she was at this time of night, but she pushed that thought to the back of her mind, she came here to relax, not to worry. She made it to a rock formation near the water and it was there that she got busy; she set her bag down started with her bikini top, she gripped it from the bottom hem and pulled it off over her head, revealing her modest breasts, next she undid the knot in her skirt, letting it fall as she stepped out of it while kicking off her flip-flops, making her now completely naked. She placed her clothes in her bag and hid it behind a large rock near the formation, standing by the water, she felt a slight breeze coming in, making her nipples erect and her lower region tingle with excitement, she made no attempt to cover herself up, nor did she want to.

With no further hesitation, she walked into the water, getting deeper and deeper until she was in far enough to swim, and so she did. She glided across the water blissfully, letting herself enjoy the cooling sensation coming from it as she swam in her birthday suit. She let her thoughts drift a little as she continued her little skinny dip, she thought about her friends and how things could've been different if she hadn't reformed herself into being a better person after being blasted by the Elements of Harmony, she then thought of those she and her friends have defeated in the past; the Sirens, this world's Twilight Sparkle as Midnight Sparkle, Gloriosa Daisy as Gaea Everfree, Juniper Montage when she was corrupted by the magic mirror, and recently Wallflower who had found the long lost Memory Stone and began misusing it and nearly erased Sunset from existence.

It made her think even more as she kept swimming in the nude, the Sirens were the only ones out of all of those incidents that hadn't reformed and made Sunset wonder why not and where they were now. Were they plotting a revenge scheme? Or did they leave Canterlot altogether? She sighed as she realized she was overthinking it and remembered why she came here, risking her feminine modesty and new reputation, to relax. She swam back to the shore and laid down on the sand still in the water, letting herself soak without overexerting herself by only swimming and thinking about a lighter topic: her friends.

Ever since the incident with Wallflower, their friendship had grown even stronger than before, and with good reason, it made them all think about whether or not they would be Sunset's friend if Princess Twilight had not come around and convinced them to look after her, and the thought actually scared them a bit. But they decided to let the thought go, since things were now back to normal and there was no reason to think about "What If's", even after the time of those "What If's" had long passed. With those thoughts pushed away, Sunset began to think about a possibility.

"Hmm...I wonder if I can tell the girls what I'm doing, and maybe they could join me..."

She quickly dismissed the thought with a shake of her head; no doubt her friends wouldn't exactly approve of Sunset's little nighttime activity or doing it themselves, even if it was just them present. Fluttershy would more than likely refuse with a massive blush on her face, Rainbow Dash and Applejack would probably either laugh or dare each other to do it, Rarity would believe it to be uncouth and uncivilized to swim in the ocean naked, Twilight would probably do the same as Fluttershy, and Pinkie...well, she was Pinkie, it would kinda be hard to figure out if she would be against it or okay with it, the latter being more likely with how outgoing she is. With all these thoughts rummaging in her mind, she didn't even realize until now that she was tracing the length of the slit between her legs and softly groping her own breasts.

She giggled, "I probably stop thinking and just relax."

With that, she ceased her thoughts and motions on her body, and just focused on relaxing, not letting her mind and body get in the way of calming herself. She sighed contently as she felt the waves sweeping along her body, making her at peace with the world around her. After a good half-hour, she opened her eyes and noticed that the moon was at its peak in the night sky.

"I'm gonna have to get dressed one of these days."

She laughed a little bit at her inside joke and went back into the water for one more quick swim before leaving, she know what the future held for her and her friends, but she knows that together she and her friends can take on anything. After her last skinny dip of the night, she returned to the shore, found her hidden bag, and before she started getting dressed, she took a brief look at her bare body, even looking behind her to see her firm, round butt, making her smile.

"I really am beautiful, aren't I?"

She shook her head, knowing that she wouldn't share her body willingly with just anyone. Maybe when she found someone who truly loved her would she share this wonderful sight. She decided to quit stalling and get dressing herself, once she was fully clothed, she called another taxi to take her back to Canterlot, and when she got home, she found a full body and chose to strip down one last time and stare at herself for a minute or two with a smile. When she finished, she walked into her room and got in bed to rest for another day, still completely naked.

"Nobody said you HAD to be dressed to sleep well." Sunset giggled as the covers felt good on her nude form.
