Ponyville, a usually quiet town where ponies of all kinds live and work, it is here that we find Fluttershy as she is one her way home after buying some food for her animals and her pet bunny Angel, she was so busy that she didn't notice a certain "master of chaos" on her shoulder.
"Hello Fluttershy, what is it that your up to this time? " he said.
"Discord, please get off my shoulder, ponies might stare." Fluttershy says as she continues her walk home.
"Aww, your no fun..." Discord says as he floats off Fluttershy's shoulder and then returns to his normal size.
"Thank you, now for the question, I'm going home to feed my animal friends as well as Angel, he's starting to finally eat those salads I make for him now." Fluttershy said.
"It's about time that furball treated you with more respect." Discord said.
"Discord..." Fluttershy says as she gives him an unamused look.
"What, I'm just saying." Discord said.
The friends continued their little conversation until they eventually reach Fluttershy's cottage and when they were about to go inside, Discord had a rather peculiar question.
"Fluttershy? Aren't you ever jealous of your friends?" he asked as he opens the door to the cottage and then goes inside.
"What do you mean?" Fluttershy asked him as she went to make some tea.
" Think about it, all of your friends have jobs or live more exciting lives and your here just mulling about like if there's meaning to it." Discord says as he sits down on Fluttershy's couch.
"Well, I'm not really good at the things that my friends do, so I'm fine just doing what I normally do." Fluttershy says in a cheerful tone as she finishes making some tea.
"But what about Rainbow Dash? Aren't you jelous of her?" Discord said.
What Discord said almost struck a nerve in the kind animal caretaker and almost made her drop the tea kettle that she was holding in a mitted wing.
"Is something wrong?" Discord asks Fluttershy unaware of her current feelings.
Fluttershy was silent for a short time, she puts down the tea kettle and then goes to get some tea cups, all the while Discord was worried that his friend had stopped talking to him.
Discord then waited for a few more minutes and started to really get nervous.
"What happened with Fluttershy?" he wondered to himself.
After a few more minutes Fluttershy finally left the kitchen, however something was different about her, she seemed lost and didn't seem to know where she was. The other thing that was different was her mane, it now had a red streak that ran down the middle of her mane, she also had a pair of goggles hanging on her neck and a fierce look in her eyes, even her cutie mark was wrong, no longer was it the three butterflies that Discord was used to it now was a single bird that appeared to be on fire, Discord figured that it was a phoenix and was confused about the way that his friend had suddenly changed.
He watched as she walked around muttering to herself about somepony name Glitter Brightstar and saying it was all her fault for messing up a spell or something of the sort, Discord decided to say something before she broke something.
"Fluttershy, Are you alright?" he asked the irate mare.
"Do I look like I'm alright!? First Glitter Brightstar send me to this world for some kind of party and then I find myself in Prism Shine's house!? Ugh, this the worst! Oh and for the record, my name's Phoenix Firewing." The mare apparently named Phoenix Firewing says as she finally settled down.
"Phoenix Firewing? That's a rather interesting name, tell me do you know who I am?" Discord says before taking a sip of tea.
"Yeah you're Prism Shine's friend Discord right?" Phoenix Firewing said.
"Well no, I'm friends with Fluttershy and I have never heard of this Prism Shine mare until today." Discord said.
"Ugh, Great that confims it then." Phoenix Firewing says with frustration.
"Confirms what exactly?" Discord asks her.
"That I'm in stuck here you overgrown snake!" Phoenix Firewing says as she flares up.
("Yikes this not a pony I'd want to be on the bad side of.") Discord thought to himself while Phoenix Firewing calms down.
After a few minutes Phoenix Firewing finally clams down and then decides to walk over to the door.
"Where are you going Flutt-err um Phoenix." Discord said.
"Out, if I'm stuck here than the only pony who can get me home is this Twilight Sparkle mare that Glitter Brightstar keeps talkin' about, if she doesn't help that nopony can." Phoenix Firewing says as she opens the door and then flys off at her usual pace.
Discord was awe struck at how quickly she left and decided to look after the cottage while Fluttershy is gone.
(Meanwhile at Ponyville Square)
"Oh goodness me,i hope Phoenix Firewing is alright." Prism Shine says as she walks around town looking for her friend.
Prism Shine continues her search for her friend not knowing that she was being watched from above.
(" The sky is so beautiful today, I wish I wasn't so afraid of flying.") Prism Shine thought to herself.
"Hey you!" a raspy voice said from above Prism Shine's location.
"Eep! W-who's there!?" Prism Shine says as she hides herself with her wings.
The mare who had called out to her landed right in front of her and then said,"Whoops, sorry about that I didn't mean to scare ya,the name's Rainbow Dash what's yours." the mare named Rainbow Dash said.
"I'm Prism Shine, so your Rainbow Dash right? I didn't expect to run into my counterpart here, how are you?" Prism Shine says as she comes back out of hiding.
"Wait your that pony who Fluttershy met!?" Rainbow Dash asked her.
"Umm, yes I am. It's really nice to meet you." Prism Shine said.
"Huh, so your actually another me, that's awesome! We could race or do tricks or even read some Daring Do books, with the two of us all of those things will be twenty percent cooler!" Rainbow Dash said, her excitement building.
"I don't really race or do tricks." Prism Shine said.
"What!? Then what do like?" Rainbow Dash said.
"Well i like reading the Daring Do books and going to the spa, I also like taking care of birds and most small animals." Prism Shine said.
"Cool, so what ya up to?" Rainbow Dash said.
"Oh I'm looking for my friend, her name is Phoenix Firewing and I think we got separated from one another." Prism Shine says as she starts back on her search.
"Phoenix Firewing huh? Ok I'll help ya, this should be a piece of cake!" Rainbow Dash said.
"Thank you Rainbow Dash, I won't forget this!" Prism Shine said.
"Your welcome Prism Shine, now let's go find your-"
"Prism Shine !? Is that you? Why are there two of you?" Phoenix Firewing says accidentally cutting Rainbow Dash off.
"Never mind, looks like she's found us." Rainbow Dash said.
"Phoenix !" Prism Shine says cheerfully as she flys over to Phoenix and hugs her.
"Whoa easy Prism Shine" Phoenix Firewing said, she then says," oh hey rookie." to Rainbow Dash upon noticing that she's still standing in the same spot.
"Hey! I'm no rookie, I could fly laps around you in no time!" Rainbow Dash said.
Prism Shine immediately let go after Rainbow Dash said that,she now fears that Rainbow Dash may have struck a nerve in the legendary pegasus.
Phoenix Firewing simply walks over to Rainbow Dash in a slow almost too calm pace, her eyes firmly locked on to Rainbow's own, if Rainbow Dash never knew fear before, she's meeting it now in the form of Phoenix Firewing.
"Tell me that again, but this time to my face." Phoenix Firewing says in a passive aggressive tone.
Rainbow Dash was lost for words she knew that Fluttershy could get pretty assertive when she wants to but this mare makes that look like a kitten in comparison,It seems that even Phoenix Firewing has the infamous Stare ability the Fluttershy has.
"I-i said that I'm a rookie?" Rainbow Dash said.
"*huffs* Thought so, wanna know the reason I call you that?" Phoenix Firewing said.
"Why?" Rainbow Dash asked her.
"'Cause it's your current rank in the Wonderbolts am I right?" Phoenix Firewing said.
"Yeah, but how do you know that?" Rainbow Dash said.
"Think about it, your world's Wonderbolts Captain is Spitfire, where in my world I'm the Captain, which means that I don't have much say here , however in my world I do, get my drift so far?" Phoenix Firewing said.
"Yeah,but what does that have to do with the question?" Rainbow Dash said.
"Okay,now think about this the ranking system in both mine and your versions of the Wonderbolts are the same, so the reason I know your rank is because of the fact you obviously have it pinned someplace where only a Wonderbolt Captain could find it." Phoenix Firewing says as walks back over to Prism Shine.
Rainbow Dash was left dumbfounded by Phoenix Firewing's words but made sure to take them to heart for the next time they meet.
"Hey rookie, you know how we're getting home?" Phoenix Firewing said.
"Uh, I think Twilight might help you, she's really good with magic and stuff." Rainbow Dash said.
"Cool lead the way!" Phoenix Firewing said.
"Awesome, let's go!" Rainbow Dash says as she flys over to Twilight's castle with Phoenix Firewing and Prism Shine following behind.
The three mares walked over to the castle and had passed by Applejack as she was currently running the apple stand with her sister.
She had noticed the three pegasi pass her stand and had muttered to herself, "Now ah've done seen everythin' " when they walked by.
The three mares eventually make it to Twilight's castle and then looked inside to see if Twilight was home, which luckly for them she was.
"Hey Rainbow Dash, what brings you here?" Twilight asks Rainbow as she walks up to them.
"It's a long story." Rainbow Dash said.
"Does it have anything to do with why Fluttershy looks differently and why there are two of you now?" Twilight Sparkle said.
"Yes." Rainbow Dash said.
"Hmm, Okay then which one of you is Phoenix Firewing?" Twilight said.
"I am." Phoenix Firewing said.
"Okay good, now how did you two get here?" Twilight asked her.
"It was Glitter Brightstar's fault, she came up to us and said that she wanted to try out her universe swap spell thing and I think that Prism tried to get her to leave us alone and then next thing we knew, we where here and to make things worse I think we had gotten separated." Phoenix Firewing said.
"So that explains why Fluttershy went missing today, I guess Discord wasn't lying to tme..." Twilight said.
"What!? She's missing!?" Rainbow Dash said.
"Yes, Discord told me that Fluttershy had suddenly disappeared during a conversation that they where having, he then told me that Fluttershy had then reappeared but she was acting differently, I then realized that the pony he was dealing was you Phoenix." Twilight said.
"Cool,so can you get us home?" Phoenix Firewing said.
"I could but I'm not sure if it'll work or not." Twilight Sparkle said.
"You have to at least try Twilight, i miss my friends." Prism Shine said.
"Well i-v Twilight says but was cut off by a nearly familiar voice.
"You do not have to worry about doing anything miss Twilight, We'll gladly take things from here" a beautiful white Alicorn mare whose mane looked as if it came from the sun itself, her cutie mark appeared to be a sunrise.
"Celestia? No you look like her yet your not her, who are you?" Twilight Sparkle said.
"We are Solar Tempest, Princess of the Morning Light and we hath come to help thee with thine predicament." The Princess said.
("She's almost like Luna and yet she's as kind as Celestia") Twilight thought to herself, she then asked her, "How?"
"We hath found your friend in our world and wish to return her, Thankfully she was unharmed and is currently with us at this very moment." Solar Tempest said.
Right then and there Fluttershy immediately leaves the Princesse's side and hugs Twilight Sparkle.
"Oh I've missed you Twilight." Fluttershy says cheerfully.
"Me too Fluttershy." Twilight Sparkle said.
"So this is goodbye then huh?" Phoenix Firewing said.
"Yeah,I guess it is." Twilight said.
"Goodbye Twilight I hope we meet again someday." Prism Shine said.
"Goodbye Prism Shine." Twilight Sparkle said.
"Hey rookie." Phoenix Firewing says to Rainbow Dash.
"Yeah?" Rainbow Dash said.
"Be good alright? See ya later." Phoenix Firewing said.
"Yeah see ya." Rainbow Dash said.
"Let us be off then, farewell for now Princess Twilight Sparkle" and with that said Princess Solar Tempest teleported herself, Phoenix Firewing and Prism Shine home.
("That world..., I'll have do more reserch on it. It's almost like our own, yet it isn't.") Twilight Sparkle thought to herself as she went into her room.
Rainbow Dash decided to get Fluttershy home safely and hope that the rest of the day is a little more normal, but as you all know, Ponyville is never normal.
